After the horrific murder of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis, the Trump Administration has doubled down on the lawlessness of ICE by essentially saying they are above the law. We talk about how that's not the case and what you can do if confronted by ICE.

Hey everybody. Welcome back to the Find out podcast. Originally we thought we had a guest today and we had a little bit of scheduling snafu, so we're gonna wing it today. Guys, you've got Tim, we're Luke and Rich. We're just gonna. The triumphant trio. We are gonna provide maximum entertainment value for you today. Talking about all the stupid shit that Donald Trump and the Trump administration is doing right now. And I think we obviously have to start with the biggest story still from last week, which is the ICE murder of Renee Goode and the subsequent cover up that seems to be happening around this case. There's also been some other horrible video footage of a woman yesterday go to a doctor's office who got ripped out of her car after they smashed her window, cut her seatbelt and dragged her out because reasons, I guess. But this is what's happening. And the Justice Department has also said that they're going to send even more law enforcement, federal agents into Minneapolis because, you know, it's going so well so far and it seems like everyone in Minneapolis is really happy with ICE agents just running around grabbing people and essentially beating the shit out of them. You know, this is fun, guys. This is sort of the stuff that we talked about. You know, when you say Republicans, if you don't want to be called fascist, don't do fascist shit. This seems kind of fascist.
Rich
This fits the bill. Yep.
Tim
These are the things I wake up in at like 5:00am and and just start thinking about every morning and my heart goes through the roof and adrenaline goes up. And then after like 45 minutes of thinking, wow, this is, this is, this is America right now. Then maybe I can fall back asleep. So this is probably really healthy for everyone in America long term.
Rich
I think this is why when I go to bed reading horror novels, they're not what keep me up.
Tim
Absolutely. I think the, I think the most deranged things that I'm watching, you know, whether it's like Stranger Things or we watch like a Task, those are the best ways to detach because I, I'm like fully immersed in this parallel universe nervous system.
Rich
Something else to be freaked out by.
Luke
Yeah. So, you know, we've, we talked a little bit about last week, but like, generally speaking, you know, when there is a shooting of law enforcement, there tends to be an investigation into what happened. And right now, the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, who's been on the show before, is trying to launch an investigation along with Governor Wells. Wells. Governor Walls. Excuse me. And the federal government is not, you know, as. As everyone on the right keeps saying, just comply. The federal government is not complying, and they are not. They are not participating in any of these investigations. They just want this to go away.
Tim
Classic go wrong.
Luke
Yeah. Nothing.
Rich
Nothing to hide, nothing to fear. But not this time.
Tim
No. I think the. The fact that. That all of these prosecutors resigned and then those are the same prosecutors that are investigating fraud in Minnesota is probably the most Trump thing I've ever seen. The most. The most. Pam Bondi doj where there were actual crimes being committed by Somali citizens of the United States. Like, they. They were on a thread that was a thread that justice should pursue. Right. It's a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny group of people, about 50 or 60 out of a 110,000 population in Minnesota. But they did find criminals in. Well, Minnesota investigators found criminals, but the DOJ was pursuing them. And now all of the people who were running that operation are gone because they tried to force them to do something that was not within the scope of normal justice investigation. So now we're getting. For the wrong reason and also for another wrong reason that didn't have to be part of any of this.
Luke
Yeah. And I think for those who don't know, there were. Yesterday it was reported that there were three prosecutors that resigned essentially in protest. And it turns out that it is six. And it is, as. As Rich said, the entire investigation team into this fraud in Minneapolis or in Minnesota in general. And, you know, just to also be clear, there were other people besides Somali Americans involved in this as well.
Rich
Yeah, White lady was on the top.
Tim
Yeah, there was citizen.
Luke
Right. Right at the top of this whole thing. But the, but the Justice. Justice Department has basically said they were asking them to investigate Renee Good's widowed. Widowed wife for. I don't know. They didn't say un American. They didn't go. They didn't go full, like, 1950s Red Scare stuff. But they got pretty close. They got pretty close. And, you know, and I think these people were like, why would we investigate this woman who wasn't even there? Right. Was she or was she there? Was she in the passenger seat? She wasn't.
Tim
She was. She was walking around.
Luke
She was around.
Tim
Yeah, she was walking around filming. And. And Renee was. Was driving with the dog in the car. And then she was. We saw her in separate videos, too, where, you know, after the, after she died and was just, you know, despondent on the sidewalk. And I mean, these are like, people who drove. They moved there from Colorado is my understanding, not that long ago. So they had no Community in Minnesota. They were just looking to, you know, join the community, be part of it. And, and so, I mean this, this tells us everything we need to know. Like were they secretly evil leftists who were doing illegal things? Like obviously not. Or six prosecutors from the Justice Department wouldn't have just said like, no, there's no evidence. We're not even going to do this to the point where we're going to resign if you try to force us to investigate this. Like, that's how, that's how people who were still working under Pam Bondi now said this is the line that was crossed. And there have already been like 100 lines that have been crossed in the past. So that's, that's exactly how utterly deranged Pam Bondi's Justice Department is.
Luke
What it's, it's pretty telling that they were more interested in investigating the, the wife of this murdered Renee Good.
Tim
I think.
Luke
Instead of, instead of. Yeah, instead of the ICE agent, you know, the ICE agent who we have now seen after he shot her three times. What did he call her? A. That was his response after shooting her three times. Twice of which which has been proven now through the side window, which.
Tim
Yeah.
Luke
You know, for any rational, sane person will tell you that person was, that officer was in no danger whatsoever.
Tim
And that's able to do geometry to.
Rich
Be able to figure that out though.
Luke
You can also just use your eyes. You can just look, they curve the bullet.
Rich
Silly. Oh, wanted like, you know.
Luke
Oh, oh, we're you. Yeah. I mean I think these guys do think that there's some sort of cowboys like out on the western range, right?
Rich
Like five, four needle dicked high school jocks that are 330 pounds and couldn't run a mile if they had to.
Luke
I mean, imagine shooting some, right? First of all, just imagine shooting somebody. I mean the horror of doing something like that, you know, I just don't know how you shake it. But your first reaction after shooting somebody three times in the face is to call her a fucking bitch. Like, what is, what are we doing?
Tim
Like you're dunking on a, on a woman in a Honda Pilot after you have won. Like he won. He won. He's the one walking away while still holding his camera.
Rich
It's classic abuser shit.
Tim
Yeah.
Luke
Yes.
Rich
Next.
Tim
But she's driving into her, you know, her vehicle with her body and it is driving into a tree and he, and he says not just fucking bitch, but fucking bitch. And living in a red state with Republican men my entire life, I have heard that exact Phrase it said in that exact way probably 100,000 times in my life. And I posted a video about this and every single person in the comments, literally all the women in the comments said, every woman I know has heard that and felt that in. In their bones.
Luke
Yeah.
Tim
Because. Because of how triggering that was. Nothing is an accident. But I don't think he intended to say it that way on camera. But the fact that they didn't mute that part or clip that part before J.D. vance goes and retweets the video like that's. That's them telling on themselves. They have that lack of awareness that they don't understand. That fucking bitch. After you shoot someone in the face might be taken poorly by the general public.
Luke
Is it a lack of self awareness or is it just not giving a shit? Because I would argue these people have been trained their entire lives to put women down. That there's nothing wrong with it. Like to say, I mean, I'm from a bluish state and I've heard that. That term.
Tim
Oh yeah.
Luke
Many, many times.
Tim
Just gotta find a Republican man, honestly. Right.
Luke
I mean, you know, and, and, but like they. I just don't think they think that's a big deal. I think that's just their culture. I think that's how they. It's very normal. It's like back in the 90s as you've talked about, Rich. Like when people use the F word to disparage somebody, including us, like you know, when we were kids because we didn't know any better. But these are adults doing this and.
Rich
It just shows the response online has been fun. Sickening. Yeah, I've been, I've been making a list of people that I verified that they're real people and that when I have spare time, I'll be ruining their for this because my Facebook. Ridiculous. I mean we got.
Luke
I. I've been keeping a list.
Rich
Here's Tasia.
Tim
Facebook comments or something else.
Rich
Dude, do any of these arcelers that are throwing fits even know that that psycho was rightly taken out by the ICE agent? Apparently all these liberals are absolutely blind and don't understand facts that are right in their face. Just shut the fuck up already.
Luke
What facts?
Rich
And then we got another one.
Luke
We got Eddie Powell.
Rich
And just to think, poof. Democratic liberals are blaming the shooter and not the firearm. Another blank blank down. And both of those are slurs.
Luke
Wait, that we blamed the gun, not the shooter.
Rich
Now we're blaming the shooter and not the gun? Because up until now, apparently we blame the gun and not the Shooter like it.
Luke
I mean, you know, they're wrong. I know. Like, what I mean, yes, the gun did cause the death, but, like, so did the ICE agent. Like, pulling the trigger three times while he had a cell phone in his other hand.
Rich
That's like, the thing we've been saying about not giving guns to unqualified idiots is exactly what we've been saying.
Luke
Well, and the scary thing about this guy was he was trained and he still did this. Like, he. He has been an ICE agent for 10 years, and then other people were.
Tim
Like, well, in Iraq.
Luke
Well, yeah. And I mean, some people have defended him by saying, well, he got dragged by a car last year. And my answer to that is, then he should. If that was still a factor in how he was doing his job, he shouldn't be been on the. In the field in the first place. Like, that's not like, oh, sorry, he has trauma, so tough shit. Like, they didn't.
Tim
They didn't think through that because it's like they're trying to flood the streets. They got the quotas and the surge, and they're trying to add 10,000 more people like this. It's just exposing how stretched they already are or that they just don't care to put. To put guns in the hands of people who maybe have ptsd, have unresolved trauma, and can't perform in the field legally, and you're giving them a gun anyway, and you're putting them in charge and letting them go out there, and then you're defending them afterward. I mean, I think that tells us everything we need to know. But if he. If he is triggered by a vehicle driving by his foot, I would say he definitely should not be carrying a weapon or on the clock. Yeah.
Luke
Well, not to mention, if you talk to law enforcement officers who have shot people in the line of duty, justifiably shot them because their lives were in danger, they will tell you how horrific. Most of them will tell you how horrific that is and what a, like, awful, awful thing that they then carry with them for the rest of their lives. Right. Because taking someone's life is the ultimate, like, finality or final act. And so most normal law enforcement officers struggle mightily after they do this. This guy was just like, fucking bitch. Like. Like, what are. Like, these are the people on the. On our streets right now. But. And it's like, it's not just this guy. It's thousands of them. I mean, we saw there was a video after. After the shooting, which another woman recorded, where an ICE officer walked up to her and said, didn't you learn from, from that, that shooting the last. Well, haven't you learned from the last couple of days? Which is just a, like, he's threatening her life and he's a lawn, he's law, Federal law enforcement. Like, I, I don't know. I mean, obviously there is a group of people who are defending this, but I do feel like there are more and more people who are like, this is pretty up.
Rich
Something's fucked here.
Luke
You know, this is a real problem and we need to do something about it. But like, it is a window into the sort of right wing bro culture, right, where these guys are just like, yeah, you could shoot women. Who gives a shit? Like they, you know. But when I. Go ahead, Rich.
Tim
No, I was gonna, I was gonna add, because it is part of a broader theme and I, I don't know how this missed my radar, but it came up after the Minneapolis shooting. But something similar happened just back in November. There was a border patrol supervisor, this is on ABC News, was involved in a shooting. I don't have all the details, so I'm not going to characterize what happened, but in the investigation, texts from the Border patrol agent came out and he said he was bragging about it afterward. And he said, I fired five rounds and she had seven holes. Put that in your book, boys.
Luke
Jesus.
Tim
He texted that to other border patrol people. And after the texts came out, the, the dhs, I suppose, or the Justice Department, they, they settled immediately because more texts were going to come out. And so they just made it go away. And this was, this was before this. This was, this was a couple of months ago. And anyway, that's. So this isn't just a one off thing. They're just doing a better job or they did a better job of hiding things up until now. So, like, is this part of their culture? Yes, absolutely.
Luke
Well, there's no requirement. Like they've lowered the bar on who qualifies to be an ICE agent because they can't get enough qualified people. Because most decent, normal human beings want absolutely nothing to do with this. Like, I see a lot of people asking, I would love to know how many Jan Sixers are actually found out.
Rich
That the fucking leader of the Proud Boys is one. Do you see that?
Luke
I, I, so I saw something before I came on. I, I wasn't able to confirm it, but I did see someone had a.
Rich
List in the leak. He's in that list of leaked ICE agents that just came out. It's like the biggest leak of all Time from the dhs.
Luke
Oh, that one. So. So for those who don't know, the Proud Boys are a. A racist, right wing white supremacy group who were actively involved in January 6th. They were there, I think. That guy. Didn't that guy go to jail? Well, they all got pardoned, right? They all got pardoned. So it didn't.
Tim
If it's the guy that's turning up in my quick search. 22 years in prison and then he was pardoned. Sentenced to 22 years.
Luke
Sentenced to 22 years. And now is potentially an ICE agent, if that's the right person. Yeah, yeah. So, I mean, yeah, it's. It's truly awful. And you know, people are asking like, what they can do. And obviously your safety is the number one priority here. But like, I think the thing that, you know, most people have been saying is stay calm if you're in those situations and film everything. Don't antagonize, do not. Do not make any threatening moves. Just stay calm and record. Because if. Imagine if there was no videotape of this, of the murder. Like you would. Like half the country wouldn't believe it because they didn't see it.
Tim
Yeah, they've already said they wouldn't. Yeah, right. They don't believe it when it's in front of them. We wouldn't even probably know that it happened unless we, like, read a Facebook post about it.
Luke
Right, right. Well, and it's the same thing that's happened with, you know, police brutality over the last 10, 15 years. Things have changed. And they are. Most police officers have to wear body cam footage now or cameras now because there were so many cell phone. You know, of the Eric Garner, the man in South Carolina who was running away and the cop like blasted him with like three shots in the back. There's like a whole bunch of them. You know, even in Minneapolis, Right. With George Floyd. Nobody would have said anything about, I mean, outside of the community if there wasn't footage of that fucking asshole putting his knee on his neck for like 10 minutes. So, you know, the recording thing is the most important. But just be safe out there, folks, because it is.
Rich
They tell you it's illegal. It's not. They're lying.
Luke
It's not. And actually Mayor Mamdani actually put out a video yesterday or today giving like, for New Yorkers in particular, but like, telling people their rights. I would love for board Democrats to be doing this too, as to getting this information out to people, because you can record and they cannot search your home without a warrant. But they are Legally allowed to lie to you, so you have to catch them in a lie. And he actually, in the video showed a sample warrant that a lot of times they'll waive a sample and say, this is the document. So you need to look and you need to be very, very careful. And. But it's, it is a scary. It is a scary situation. So. And, and then, and then speaking of us just lighting things on fire, this is a terrible pivot. But Donald Trump is now ramping up his efforts to acquire Greenland. Greenland, Like, I think invade it. Yeah.
Tim
Kill all the seals or whatever.
Luke
They have said that all options are on the table. Trump said that it is. NATO is more secure with Greenland being part of the United States than Denmark, which I don't understand, because it is a cooperative pact that if one is attacked, they all are attacked. I'm not sure he understands what NATO is. Nope, to be honest, I don't think he gets it. But. Yeah. So we are now waging wars with our allies to the point where I think Germany, the United Kingdom and France put out a joint statement, like, last week, basically saying, knock it off, which they never do to us because they are our allies and don't usually need to. So we're just going to light the world on fire as well.
Tim
Well, is he going to be friends with, you know, North Korea and, like, is he going to, you know, align with the Axis powers that the, the, the, the evil people and betray all of our allies? But then he just, like now he's, you know, he bombed Iran and he decapitated Venezuela leadership, and now he's also going after NATO. It's almost like he's trying to create the worst possible version of the world where, I don't know, like a, A strong man, authoritarian can thrive or something like that. I don't know. Is it just theories here?
Luke
Well, I think he. I think he looks at carving up the world with Vladimir Putin and with, with China, with Xi and. Because you hear all of this, like, Western hemisphere dominance language.
Tim
Monroe Doctrine.
Luke
Like what? Yeah, yeah, the Monroe Doctrine, which was. Is how old at this point? 2, 200 years.
Tim
I did some research on this. The Monroe doctrine. Yes. Early 1800s. It.
Luke
Yeah.
Tim
So it is like pre Civil War, we had fewer than 10 million people lived in the United States when there was a Monroe Doctrine. I think we had 20 ships in our Navy, 20, 20. And I think all of them floated. We had five.
Rich
Didn't go to space back then.
Tim
We didn't have space lasers or the, or the Space Force or the Space Force. I know. You know, we thought we were woefully unprepared. I think that we thought that the sun still came. That went around the. The Earth back then, but we had 5,000 people in the army, and. And, you know, President Monroe goes and says, we own the Western Hemisphere, which. What? Like, it's objectively stupid because what is the Western Hemisphere? It's like we're on a ball of rock and water. You just look at it in outer space. There's no left and right. There's no right Western and eastern. That's completely manufactured. But he's.
Luke
So.
Tim
He says, you know, we own the whole Western Hemisphere as long as you guys stay out. Turns out there were some things in, like, the mid-1900s that caused some issues with the whole, like, you stay out of our. We stay out of your. Like, World War I, World War II, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, you know, and then, I mean, 9, 11, and war in Iraq. There have been a couple of things over the past 150 years that have, you know, you know, painted that maybe as a. As a poor approach to running the world, but. But Stephen Miller read about it probably in a, you know, on a website or, like, on Twitter, and so now it's our new thing again. The Monroe Doctrine.
Rich
Same. Same place that Christy Noem read about that. You take one of ours, we take all of yours.
Tim
Really delightful.
Luke
Well, and have you guys seen the. The. Some of the social graphics that the.
Rich
Oh, my God.
Luke
That they've.
Rich
The Trump administration propaganda.
Tim
Well, the Homeland Security Department Twitter feed.
Luke
Yeah. It's like, our home will be ours soon again. It's like, from. From who?
Tim
With, like, a white.
Luke
What does that.
Tim
Like a white comic book character with, like, Republican hair holding, like, seven white babies standing in front of a farm.
Luke
Yeah.
Tim
I mean, any of this.
Luke
Well, no, it also, but, like, people have found very similar statements from what party in Germany back in the 30s and 40s.
Tim
Probably one of them.
Rich
One of them Democratic socialists.
Luke
One of the bad ones. The. The language is very similar. I mean, like, there's. There's too many of these at this point for it to be a coincidence. Right. Like, it's just like they're just. It's not even a foghorn at this point. It's just, like, who they are.
Rich
Yeah. You know, it's who they've always been. They're just. Right now.
Luke
Well, and I think they still think that they're. That they have power forever, that, you know, they're not going to suffer any consequences in November of this year, which I think is a grave mistake. And this is part of the reason why they keep flooding with bots telling, you know, liberals, progressives, Democrats that there aren't going to be any elections this year because it's part of their efforts to suppress the vote, because there are going to be elections this year. And anybody who tells you that there are not is either ill informed or lying to you. The states control those. The federal government does not. Now, Trump has talked about, you know, seizing voting machines and stuff, which we should take seriously. But you know, there were also a lot of threats about the 2025 election in California and in New Jersey, and that ended up not really being anything.
Tim
So the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, that was like Peak, Peak Doge and Peak Elon Musk and they lost by 10. Like, we're still winning all of the November elections, the special elections. Louisiana's Republican se Secretary of State already has said, well, we're going to use the old voting map because the Supreme Court hasn't decided quickly enough on this, on this case that might allow them to redistrict and get an extra seat. And so they're proceeding with the old map. Like, even the Republican secretaries of state are planning for elections and they're planning actually, like for them to be relatively fair. What Trump and his people are screaming about on the Internet is a different thing. But turns out the founders were geniuses and completely icing out the president in all things elections because Trump has tried to do everything he possibly can. It's not working and he won't do it. And I think he also doesn't, he doesn't have an ally in John Thune. You know, he would need the Senate to lie down. He's got Mike Johnson to lie down. But Mike Johnson barely has the House with resignations and then the California representative who died unexpectedly to. He's. And it's an election year, so they have to be present to vote. And so he essentially, like the House essentially is not going to do anything this year. And so, you know, Trump, Trump has very few levers left. And if the Supreme Court rules against him on a couple of big cases, then he won't have his tariffs left either. And like, he's just, he's got almost nothing, which is why he's bombing other countries. Like that's.
Luke
Well, in the Louisiana, the Louisiana thing's great news because we had, we had Congressman Fields on the show a few months ago because this was a serious problem. And it was his district. He is a, he's A black man who represents a primarily black district of which they were trying to, of course, strip and give both to Steve Scalise, who has spoken in front of the KKK or white supremacists before, and Mike Johnson. So basically they would have no voice. So that's, I didn't know that. That's good news. And Fields is a great guy and I'm really, really happy to hear that. But, yes, that's why we are, we are bobbing other countries and everything and trying to distract. So, yeah, but, but I do think, like, there were some special elections yesterday because we're recording on Wednesday all over performances for Democrats. I don't think there's been an election since November 2024. The Democrats didn't overperform. And it's because people are angry, very, very angry about what's happening. I mean, there's a reason why Donald Trump's numbers are sitting in the mid-30s because people are tired of it. And like, he is doing probably the worst job of anybody that we've had in 200 years. I mean, I think we can say worst president ever at this point.
Tim
I mean, absolutely.
Rich
I'm happily saying worst president ever.
Luke
My alum, James Buchanan from Dickinson College is always our only president and is always in the bottom. So I'm glad for him to be replaced because, I mean, we still.
Tim
But yeah, you just got a little bit better.
Luke
Yeah.
Tim
You know, the, the. I don't want to gloss over Greenland too quickly, though, because there are so many layers here with the, with national security and with economics, and that's the part that's really, truly insane. Washington Post had this, like, they were the only ones who covered it and it just kind of went away. But they covered it a couple weeks ago when this all first came up. And essentially we already have an agreement from post war, Post World War II, from the 50s with Denmark that says that we can do anything we want militarily on Greenland already. We don't even need permission. They said we would love a heads up. But in the actual law, the hand, like the agreement that they, that they came to, we can build a base, we can regulate ships coming and going from Greenland, we can regulate flights coming and going from Greenland, we can regulate every single thing that comes or goes from Greenland, as well as build bases anywhere we want, do whatever we want, put ships and put airplanes there. We don't even need to give them a heads up in advance. We just need to let them know at some point that it was a thing that we did. So we could already build, right, an entire, you know, we could build cities worth of military infrastructure without needing anything. And so then it's like, well, why does he keep saying, well, no, we have to own it, we have to own it. So then you look at the mineral stuff and yes, There is estimated 4 to 5 trillion dollars worth of minerals, including things like gas and oil, but also a lot of rare earth minerals on Greenland. But the problem is, of course, only about 10% of it is accessible right now. And there's another problem that he won't care about, but that I do, and that's that if Greenland's ice sheet completely melted, it would raise the ocean by 24ft.
Luke
Yep.
Tim
So going out and sending mining and gas and oil exploration to just bore through the ice sheets to. Not a good idea of shit for laser guided. Terrible plan. But don't worry, genius.
Rich
The people, people whose homes are flooded.
Tim
They'Ll just move absolutely 24ft.
Luke
Well, 24ft, there would be no coastal cities. No coastal cities.
Tim
But you guys was only like 10ft.
Luke
Oh, yeah, well, Florida would be gone, so 24ft. Florida.
Rich
Maybe you might have just sold me with that there, Tim.
Tim
I'm just saying, I'm just saying my, my home, let's let them do half of it and then Mar A Lago will be underwater and then we'll say no more.
Luke
Yeah, I was gonna say I, I being in New York City, like, we're pretty close to the ocean, so I would, I would be underwater as well, so I'd like to avoid that. Also, like, I don't want the, the world to be on fire. Literally on fire. But compared to figuratively on fire.
Tim
Well, no, the, the rising ocean will put all the fires out.
Luke
Oh, that's true. So, and then if you live in Tulsa, you'll have beachfront property. Right, Right. So there you go. Maybe you'll have it on both sides.
Tim
Because we can plant wheat in the mineral fields in, in, in the middle of Greenland. Little bees. I mean, I'm not seeing a lot of issues with this. Honestly, now that we talked through it, I've seen wins.
Rich
You know, we get rid of Trump, we get rid of.
Luke
It's funny, I saw a video, which is funny and sad, but like, somebody was like, you know, the Trump administration has made me completely lose my panic around climate change. It's replaced it with this. Because, I mean, this is more immediate.
Tim
You have to look a couple of generations for, for climate change to be a real problem. So.
Luke
Not probably in our lifetime, but, you know, but Moving to like to our, our final topic of the day, which I don't think we're going to talk about too much because there's still a lot of information that needs to come out about this. But a lot of people haven't really been talking about this. And this is the protest in Iran.
Rich
Yep.
Luke
And the, you know, they've had these over the years, but this one feels pretty big to the point where actually the German chancellor the other day said that the Iranian regime is in its like last weeks, which feels incredibly optimistic to me. And then there's been horrific reports of the Iranian government just mowing down.
Tim
Yeah.
Luke
Protesters with the estimates in like 2 to 15,000 or something like that.
Tim
Yeah. 5,000 was the 3,000 in New York Times. I saw 5,000 this morning. It's probably 50. But you know, you don't get these counts very quickly when it's, they've locked down the Internet.
Luke
Yeah. You can actually there's a, there's a, there's an image that people have been posting about the Internet activity in Iran and then when the government turned it off it just plummets straight into the ground. So they know they're in a lot of trouble. The people don't have. Not like that regime for a very long time, but they're there. Was it the Iranian National Guard or the, I can't remember what they're. They go by is like their, their forces are lethal and ruthless and so you know, it, it would take a lot. Now Donald Trump has said we stand with the, the protesters but. And we will. Did he, he threatened them again, I think with bombing but non stop. I'm not sure how that would be helpful.
Tim
We evacuated non person, non essential personnel in, in Qatar as well. You know, it's like is it saber rattling or are we going to have Operation Midnight Thunder or whatever that Midnight Hammer. The. Oh my God. The most like Operation Flesh Hammer. Operation Flesh. Could anything be more absurd? But so like I'm, it's probably going to be something like that but you know what's going to happen afterward. And, and I've been reading like there's a huge coalition that's just completely fractured in Iran. A coalition of opposition. Their strongest like de facto leader is a descendant from a shaw from the 80s, I want to say and he lives in the United States though, but like he's given him something to rally around but you know, so I don't know what's going to happen next honestly. But I do find it peculiar and notable that when Palestinians in Gaza are. Are being exterminated, you know, by the tens of thousands. He's like, well, there's beachfront property we can develop. But when it's, you know, when it's protesters in Iran, suddenly he's siding with the protesters in Iran and also still not the protesters in Minnesota.
Luke
It's almost as if there is no coherent foreign policy whatsoever or any policy for anything.
Tim
That's unfair. Don't be unfair.
Luke
Well, I'm hoping that we're gonna have. We're gonna. We're trying to get a guest to talk more in depth about this because I don't think the. The American media has really talked a lot about this, and I think it's actually a really important thing for people to understand. And having a liberated Iran would be a massive victory for both the Iranians, but the world also.
Tim
So hopefully they're the ones making the decisions for their own country.
Luke
Yes, yes. I don't think installing just a puppet is a very good idea, but, like, you know, I also do not trust this administration to manage this effectively because they all just want to be cowboys.
Rich
And terrorists, though, than they are about doing things right.
Luke
That's true. That's true. They are. They are. Dude, by the way, seeing of crypto, this is totally aside. Do you guys see that? Eric Adams, after he left the mayor's office, launched a meme coin that when he launched it, it immediately lost 80% of his value in like the matter of minutes or something like that happened.
Tim
To a better guy.
Luke
And then somebody was.
Rich
Lost a fuckload of money.
Luke
And then somebody was. They caught. There was a video of somebody yelling at him at an airport, basically calling me a piece of. Because he is. And he literally looked at the woman, goes, go yourself. Like, what a guy. What a guy. See, Democrats, we can criticize ourselves. Like, that guy, he's mostly a Republican, but, like, that guy's the worst.
Tim
Endorsed by Trump. Right. So. Or no. Did Trump endorse Cuomo or. No? Well, he endorsed. He pardoned Adams. Right.
Luke
They dropped the investigation.
Tim
Right.
Luke
I think they basically forced them to drop it, though. There are more Adams people got arrested in the past week on other corruption stuff because it was just a cesspool.
Tim
So anyways.
Luke
Well, you know, I think we did pretty well here. Guys getting through 35 minutes when we were like, usually have a guest or we're prepped and we just kind of winged it today. But I think we did. We did. All right. Luke, I don't suppose you got to get for anybody. For everybody.
Rich
Oh, shit.
Luke
I Should have asked you at the beginning.
Rich
You should have. Not off the top of my head. I don't have one.
Tim
I mean, I think. I think a response to Trump's middle finger to that United Auto Classic response.
Rich
Is get fucked to fuck you. But I don't know. Yeah, a lot of in there.
Tim
Me. No, you.
Luke
You.
Rich
Me.
Luke
You. Well, speaking of get, there is merchandise in the store that has get, and the proceeds are going to go to Feeding America.
Rich
Right? Every piece of merch you buy feeds 100 people.
Luke
Yeah. So even if you don't want to wear it, you own. If you buy it, 100 people get fed. Plus all our other merch. Actually, this might be the first time that one of us, not one of us has been wearing merch since we. I don't know if you've got anything under that purple hoodie of yours there.
Tim
Rich, but just my. Just my get underwear.
Rich
Oh, is that like. We don't sell those.
Luke
That's off brand. That's off.
Rich
They come with the lube installed or what?
Tim
I just use the Sharpie.
Luke

Episode: ICE Is Out Of Control
Date: January 15, 2026
Hosts: Luke, Tim, Rich
This episode takes a hard look at the recent actions and culture surrounding ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) under Trump’s second term, especially the killing of Renee Goode by an ICE agent in Minneapolis and the apparent cover-up surrounding the incident. The hosts discuss the broader implications: the Justice Department's behavior, cultural rot in law enforcement, Trump’s foreign adventures, and contemporaneous political crises, all with their characteristic mix of irreverence, outrage, and humor.
(00:16 – 10:00)
Incident Recap:
"When you say Republicans, if you don't want to be called fascist, don't do fascist shit. This seems kind of fascist." – Luke ([00:53])
Prosecutorial Resignations:
"That's how people who were still working under Pam Bondi now said this is the line that was crossed. And there have already been like 100 lines that have been crossed in the past." – Tim ([06:03])
Rising Law Enforcement Violence:
(06:36 – 15:18)
ICE Agent's Language and Misogyny:
After the shooting, the ICE agent was caught on video calling Goode a "fucking bitch" ([07:33], [08:05]), highlighting a culture of contempt and misogyny which the hosts argue is normalized in certain circles.
"Your first reaction after shooting somebody three times in the face is to call her a fucking bitch. Like, what is, what are we doing?" – Luke ([07:33])
Online Response and Defenders:
The hosts read sickening Facebook comments defending the shooting, including slurs and a warped blame game ([09:43–10:38]).
"I've been making a list of people that I verified that they're real people and that when I have spare time, I'll be ruining their [lives] for this." – Rich ([09:43])
Unqualified and Radicalized Agents:
ICE is lowering recruitment standards, with leaks even indicating the inclusion of extremists like Proud Boys in their ranks ([15:18–15:59]).
"List in the leak. He's in that list of leaked ICE agents that just came out. It's like the biggest leak of all time from the DHS." – Rich ([15:27])
(15:59 – 18:44)
Stay calm in ICE encounters, film everything, do not provoke, and know your rights ([16:45–17:38]).
Filming police is legal, and officials may lie about your rights. Mayor Mamdani published a video for New Yorkers detailing these rights ([17:41]).
"If there was no videotape of this, of the murder...half the country wouldn't believe it because they didn't see it." – Luke ([16:37])
(18:44 – 29:50)
Greenland "Plans":
Trump is publicly talking about acquiring Greenland for national security and resource reasons, ignoring existing U.S.-Denmark agreements post-WWII that already let the U.S. use Greenland for military purposes ([27:10]).
The real drive is seen as resource extraction—$4–5 trillion in minerals—at the potential cost of catastrophic environmental impacts ([28:57]).
"If Greenland's ice sheet completely melted, it would raise the ocean by 24ft." – Tim ([28:57])
International Unrest and Alienation of Allies:
Revival of the Monroe Doctrine and White Nationalist Propaganda:
(23:13 – 26:49)
Election Integrity:
Despite online doomsaying and Trump’s threats (seizing voting machines, etc.), states control elections, and most mechanisms are holding up ([24:06–25:38]).
Recent elections continue trending against Republicans, indicating persistent resistance and anger ([26:49]).
"I don't think there's been an election since November 2024 the Democrats didn't overperform. And it's because people are angry, very, very angry about what's happening." – Luke ([26:49])
Trump: "Worst President Ever":
(30:49 – 34:23)
Escalating Unrest:
The hosts note significant protests in Iran, with crackdowns reportedly resulting in thousands killed ([31:17]).
Trump’s response—threatening to bomb Iran while showing inconsistent concern for other crises—shows a lack of coherent foreign policy ([33:37]).
"It's almost as if there is no coherent foreign policy whatsoever or any policy for anything." – Luke ([33:37])
Importance of Real Analysis:
(34:23 – end)
The conversation blends outrage, biting humor, and frankness. The trio never shies away from saying "fuck" where appropriate; the tone is conversational but sharp, and deeply critical of both individuals and systemic rot. They're unflinching about misogyny, racist dogwhistles, and the open normalization of brutality, but punctuate their anger with dark humor and asides.
This episode delivers an unvarnished look at the ICE killing, its aftermath, and how it fits into broader patterns of American authoritarianism under Trump’s second term. The hosts’ candor, sharp analysis, and humor make a charged subject accessible, while providing actionable advice and connecting the dots between local incidents and global implications.
Next Episode Teaser:
Stormy Daniels will join as a guest, adding a high-profile perspective to the ongoing discourse.
