Jesse Watters
Hello everybody. I'm Jesse Watters along with Kennedy, Harold Ford Jr. Emily Compagno and Brian Kilmeade. It's five o' clock in New York City and this is the Five Fox News alert. An act of pure evil at a Catholic church in Minneapolis. Two children are dead, 17 others injured after a gunman two shot through the stained glass windows while they were praying in the pews. The coward then killing himself. The FBI is now investigating it as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. Let's go right now to CB Cotton.
CB Cotton
CB hey Jesse. Well, we have just learned more details that the shooter has been identified as 23 year old Robin Westman. But according to court documents, this person changed their name to Robin from Robert in 2019. Those court records revealed the shooter's mother, who reportedly once worked for the school, applied local. Investigators also say the shooter's writings have been found and are now being reviewed.
Brian Kilmeade
We are also aware of a manifesto that the shooter had timed to be released on YouTube. This manifesto appeared to show him at the scene and included some disturbing writings. That content has since been taken down.
CB Cotton
FBI Director Kash Patel writing in part on X this afternoon, quote, the FBI is investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics. The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, a male born Robert Westman. The FBI will continue to provide updates on our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able. This tragedy happened just before 8:30am local time during an mass celebrating kids first week back to school. Investigators say the shooter used a rifle, shotgun and a pistol and had recently purchased the firearms legally. An 8 and 10 year old were tragically killed. 17 others injured. Local paper Star Tribune reports a 2017 yearbook shows the gunman attending the school for at least a year. And thankfully police say the surviving children are expected to survive. But we know their road to recovery includes much more than injuries. There's also trauma my friend got.
Emily Compagno
My friend like ran kind of. Someone helped him like run out. He saw him. He was wearing all black and he had a ski mask on.
Kennedy
My friend Victor he was like laying on top of me, like making sure.
Emily Compagno
I was safe, and he got hit.
Kennedy
So that was really brave of him.
CB Cotton
I do want to mention local officers say right now they can't confirm a connection between the shooter and Annunciation Catholic School. Also right now they believe the shooter acted alone. President Trump has issued a proclamation ordering flags to be flown at half staff out of respect for the victims. Jesse.
Jesse Watters
All right, cb, thank you so much. And now over to Trump's law and order crackdown. 81% of Americans say crime in large cities is a major problem and that some. That same poll has President Trump's approval on crime at 53%. But those Democrats at summer camp say that violence doesn't matter.
Kennedy
Don't take the bait in talking about migrant crime or carjackings or the things.
Emily Compagno
That actually don't matter to that many Americans.
Jesse Watters
But about those carjackings, DC's Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser has been a thorn in Trump's side over the national troops in her city. But even she had to admit Trump's right about everything.
CB Cotton
The difference between this period, this 20 day period of this federal surge and last year year represents a 87% reduction in carjackings in Washington D.C. we know that when carjackings go down, when the use of gun goes down, when homicide or robbery go down, neighborhoods feel safer and are safer.
Jesse Watters
So, Brian, you know, in the midst of this big crime crackdown, you have one of the most heinous crimes we've ever seen. Children slaughtered in a church.
Brian Kilmeade
I mean, and then you see this manifesto and I guess we're waiting for it to verify, but it looks like it's going to be verified with horrible things that he said. Kill Trump. A whole bunch of things. Jesus name defiled sitting there in the target saying one of the lines was, I didn't ask to be born and they didn't ask to die. I mean, this is, this guy is so twisted or became a woman, whatever you want to call them, they got to look, this is again, this is very similar to the Tennessee situation, only we have a different administration. They hold on to that manifesto for over a year. That was another trans situation. What kind of drugs? Is there something to be learned by the type of transition drugs he may or may not have been on as they made this move? I guess officially the mom had to sign him on in 2019 at the age of 17. So I think we need to know if that's playing a role and if anybody's safe as they're going through this mental breakdown. So I think that for that mayor to come out and worry about the trans community and not worry about the Catholic community, the Christian church, the families that they're going through, he's worried about people in the trans community. My goodness. I'm more worried about what's going on the next time a grammar school kid wants to go to church to pray that he's going to have a good year. In terms of Muriel Bowser, I mean, I got to give her credit. She came out and gave Trump. She says, look, this has worked. You know, it's helping me. If your goal, truly as a mayor, Harold, you talk about this all the time. If your goal was to make your city better where you got elected, you don't do that job to get rich. You do it to make people's lives better. And she's saying this guy helped. And she also pointed out the sincerity that the president has in making our city safe and how well he knows this city and talked about dealing with Susie Wiles and Pam Bondi in a positive situation. I think that Chicago, New York should take a look at this and maybe take a step back.
Jesse Watters
Harold, your name was mentioned during that commentary. Would you like to say anything?
Harold Ford Jr.
Sure. I mean, and good to be back. Brian. I didn't say hello while we were in the beginning of the show, we were talking about health matters. So it's good to see you. Good to be with you today. I think that President Trump deserves tremendous credit for what he's doing in Washington. He doesn't have the same authority in Chicago and New York. Our commissioner here, Jessica Tisch, who's doing a phenomenal job, has said we would want more collaboration with you. I hope I listen to President Early. He said something that we've all said around this table the last few days. We need a national crime bill. We need more police officers on the street. We need more prosecutors to prosecute violent crimes. We need in areas where the federal government can take over things. They should be in the business of collaborating to take it over. But I'd be remiss if I didn't say just something about Minneapolis. It's a tragedy. I don't know if it's the drugs these kids are using or not. One thing we do know, the common denominator and all this are guns. Now, I'm not a big guy that say I'm not a big mouth about guns this or guns that. But at some level, the sanctity and the misapplication of the Second Amendment can't supersede every Conversation about the lives of our kids, the lives of our family members. My kids go to a church affiliate school, and the first day of school is in a week. I can't imagine at chapel something like this happening. I wouldn't want this to happen to anyone. The common denominator in everyone is not a transgender. It's not a this or that. It's a gun. Now, there may be some other commonalities, but what I encourage President Trump to do, he has done so many huge things and challenged so many things that we thought were immovable. He's challenged birthright citizenship. I'm not sure I'm there with them altogether, but I get the conversation because I'm not convinced that's what the framers thought of birthright citizenship. As we think about what's happening with migrants in our country today, the President also said, I'm going to take over certain things in this country that Democrats or Republicans can't do. He's forced us to think about it. He's talked about attacking cartels in Mexico. I would encourage the President to bring together gun manufacturers, munition makers, politicians, policymakers, and have a real conversation there at the White House, like you do with foreign leaders, about what more we can be doing to make sure that the people who should not be getting guns, like this kid, whatever he's done, whatever he did, he wanted to be or not want to be, he was mentally off. We've got to figure out a better way to deal with this than we are.
Jesse Watters
Do you think there could have been something done? If someone changes their name and thinks they're another gender, would you not have them have access to weapons?
Kennedy
No. I think there are trans people who are stalked and they are terrorized and they worry about their own self protection and they deserve to protect themselves. I worry about someone who has ever gone to the doctor and says, you know, I feel a little anxious. Can you prescribe me some Xanax for a plane? And then all of a sudden, their name goes on some federal database. Yeah. And they can never get a weapon to defend themselves. There are plenty of laws keeping good people from buying guns and ammunition. You know, we talked to Joe, our local sporting goods guy, and, you know, he's furious that people who deserve to protect themselves and their families, for people who enjoy sporting life, that they are not capable to go in and buy a weapon without some sort of registry. Yes, this person was mentally ill. It's not the trans part. The part that he was absolutely, completely evil. And in places like Minnesota, they do have red flag laws. And his parents should have known. And parents should be nosy. Absolutely. But you know, I wish there were someone there to put a bullet between this little a hole's eyes before he was able to pull a trigger. The only solace I have is that when he took his own cowardly life, which he should have done in the parking lot before he got out of his car, he is that he woke up in hell. That is the only comfort that I have. And taking guns away from good people who deserve self protection. I'm sorry, it's not the answer.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm not saying take it away. I'm saying we ought to have longer checks for things like this. I'm not even saying that people. I agree with you. People who ask for some Xanax to go on a plane or to do something that's totally different. I'm only saying we ought to have a longer background period to investigate all these things if it means we inconvenience someone who wants to fly 10 people, 100 people. And we're able to prevent these kinds of things. That's all I'm saying. And we can have a conversation off here. But I'm not saying limit. I'm saying let's investigate further.
Jesse Watters
And there may be a nexus between mental illness and the trans situation. I mean, this person was suicidal, depressed. And we've seen a few cases with antifa and some of these mass shooters, they're transgender and they're very, very angry and violent and delusional.
Emily Compagno
Well, and you can't rule that out. So I think coming into the conversation immediately and focusing on only one aspect of it will deny any type of solution to that problem. That yes, we are clearly seeing a sickness infiltrate our society and it's certainly not helped by social media and sort of a reward for this violence that's online often with this. I echo everything that you say, Kennedy. So I'd like to for a moment focus on D.C. because immediately after this unfathomable tragedy, there were those in D.C. that sought to politicize this against President Trump, including the former press secretary for Biden. I want to talk about. There was a White House correspondent and she obviously covered the White House. She lived in D.C. and at 8:30am in the morning, she was robbed at gunpoint. And she refused to give up her cell phone because she knew on that cell phone were these sources, these sources that she had sworn to sort of protect. And she felt it was her duty to prevent that from falling in the wrong hands. And so her assailant pistol whipped her. This is a young woman at 8:30 in the morning in front of her apartment. And after that, thank God, she was left with her life intact. Police said they had an idea who it was. They saw him go into another apartment. And then what happened? Nothing. So cut to two years later. She is obviously traumatized, no longer walks in her own city. She grew up in New York City, by the way. She was street smart. She called herself, yeah, Irish Tao. Yep. She took Uber everywhere because of that. She couldn't even tell her grandparents because of the horrificness of the situation. And the point is that when people ask her, she says, Is D.C. safe? We've heard that the stats are down. She says, well, I don't know about statistics, but let me tell you about my experience. And her whole point in this beautiful op ed, Iris Tao, is that you cannot impose upon all of those individuals that live in D.C. and live in Chicago and live in these areas your statistics that you read about in, in papers or that you accept without question from the Metropolitan Police Department that says, oh, but look, violence is down. Because Even if there's one violence, there's 30,000 incidents reported of violence last year in D.C. and every one of those is an Iris towel. It is a horrifying generational trauma that the families undergo too. And final quick point that she made, which is that she is now pregnant, which is incredible, and she is moving away from D.C. with her husband because there is no way in hell, she says, they are raising their child in D.C. unless in an until the president can clean it up. And if there's anyone that can, it is him.
Jesse Watters
It's a very powerful story and we're praying for the victims and their families in Minneapolis. Up next, a tale of two illegal immigrants. The media won't touch the migrant truck killer, but they love the alleged wife beater.
Brian Kilmeade
How are people 16, older?
Joe

Well, it is A Tale of Two Illegals and the Media. The big three networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, could be NBC for all I care. They all refuse to cover the illegal immigrant truck driver charged in a deadly U turn crash that killed three people in Florida. But they spent a precious 17 minutes on the accused ms.13 gangbanger. You know him? You don't like him. Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This as we get some shocking police body cam footage of the killer truck driver. He got pulled over last month in New Mexico and struggled to speak English. Watch.
Joe
I feel bad being the first guy to write you a ticket, but you know, I try to help you out.
Emily Compagno
They send my no license in the ticket.
Joe
What's that?
Harold Ford Jr.
They send the ticket in the no.
Kennedy
My credit.
Joe
I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand.
Emily Compagno
Maybe in the this my ticket under my license.
Harold Ford Jr.
How many years.
Kennedy
You'Re going to do several years in prison here pretty soon, unfortunately. As for the media's devoted Maryland dad, soon to be the Uganda dad, a federal judge says Kilmar Abrego Garcia can't be deported to Uganda until at least early October. But until then, the suspected, the suspected human smuggler is in custody and he's showing his patriotism. Jesse, two questions. One, if the government is so corrupt, why would he want to stay in a country with such a corrupt government? And number two, why Uganda? You take either.
Emily Compagno
Go ahead.
Jesse Watters
Well, let's just talk about why the media didn't cover this at all. Remember, they had everything. They had video of this truck driver hitting these people and dying. They didn't cover that. It created a firestorm between the two most powerful governors in the country, Newsom and DeSantis. It sparked new federal regulation. Donald Trump was tweeting about it. And it's about illegal immigrants, which is the hottest story right now. So the producers of these morning shows and these nightly news shows, Brian knows better than anybody, you have to fill what's The Today show, four hours, gma two hours. I mean, you are dying for hot content. So they went out of their way to specifically ignore this story. And when you ignore stories that are important to the American people, the American people are going to ignore you. And that's what you see in their ratings. They're down. The anchors are taking pay cuts and they're embarrassed because of the way they covered Kilmar. First they said he was a Maryland dad. No, he's from El Salvador. Then they said he's a great dad. Now actually, he beats the wife. And then they said, oh, well, you know, we just got to bring him back to get due process. I don't think he wants due process now because his dumb lawyer is going to send him to Uganda after all this. And if Joe Biden had just done his job and deported him to any other country in the world except El Salvador, he could have been at Costa Rica, France, he could have been in Tahiti, not even in prison. He could have been on a beach in Tahiti if Joe Biden had just sent him where they were supposed to send him. And now he's going to be eating grasshoppers in Uganda.
Kennedy
Well, good news for him because there is a bleeding heart family who's got a massive compound in Uganda who might be able to make some room for Kilmar, and that is Duran Mamdani's family. They've got a sprawling, beautiful complex in a country where most people live below the international poverty level. Kilmar might not have to if.
Jesse Watters
If he had su casa.
Kennedy
Well, isn't that what communism is?
Jesse Watters
That's right.
Kennedy
From each, according to their ability. To each. Kilmar, Abrego Garcia. So, Emily, I want to talk with you a little bit about the driver in Florida who is being charged with vehicular homicide. There is a petition going around, 2.2 million signers so far. They want leniency for this person. Is that what he deserves?
Emily Compagno
Look, them calling for a fair sentencing, I don't knock, but I think it is obvious that they're missing the entire point. Because the same swath of people that hate the president and that jump to assumptions about the reasoning behind laws as being racist are the reason why those three people are dead in the first place. Because back in April when President Trump issued that executive order that, by the way, was in place before and the Obama administration suspended it, which required commercial truckers to be able to be proficient in English, to read traffic signs and the like, at the time, everyone said, oh, it's racist, Jake Tapper said, quote, how would the English speaking requirement make our roadways safer? Well, sir, I think it's pretty obvious. You would be able to read a sign that says no U turns. And the irony that all of us, when we took our driver's license exams had to ensure that, yes, we understood the roadway signs. It has nothing to do with origin or race or what it means if you can't speak English. It's understanding the language that our entire highway system is based on. Because if you don't, then people die. But yet again, they are missing that point. And to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who prefers that he's sent to Costa Rica. I would too. We all would love to be in Costa Rica right now, but I think his wife would have preferred that he didn't punch her in the face. I think those children that he smuggled would have preferred that they weren't sexually assaulted and humans smuggled across the border. I think there's a long line of people that would have preferred that he didn't enter their life. So I am excited for him to rot in Uganda.
Kennedy
Okay, so Harold, why do Libs love Kilmar so much? Like, what is it about him? Would you let him babysit your children?
Harold Ford Jr.
I wouldn't. So just a couple of things. I know we only have a minute. First, we often, and I think wrongly blame President Biden and the former president for Democrats for when people come in here under their watch. This guy that the driver is seeing came while President Trump was in office. He was a gotaway under President Trump's DHS and he was granted some form of asylum under President Trump. Now, I don't blame President Trump for his action. What I do give credit for, I think Sean Duffy, our former colleague, deserves a lot of credit. I think he was trying to address some of the things that Emily raised. He's the dot. The Department of Transportation is going to withhold federal funds from any state that does not enforce the English language proficiency requirement in their commercial driver's license test. It seems like a no brainer. Finally, one of the reasons this guy is able to Garcia is able to get it seems like something's wrong. Something's weird about this case. We have talked about reporting that says that he's the worst guy in the world. He beat his wife, which clearly he has not denied that the things he's done, maybe trafficking. I don't understand. If you were an American citizen and you did these things, you seem to be getting worse treatment than this guy's. I don't know if there's something else that we don't know. But whatever it is, they need to find out. One thing I do know is he's still applying. He's going to renew his bid for asylum. One of the reasons that Congress has to act is that the president can't executive order this. He should executive order some sort form of asylum reform in the meantime. But we need Congress to act to ensure that you can't just come to America's border or be here having gotten some sort of dispensation and say to an asylum court judge, it's really bad at home, I need to stay. There has to be a higher standard. That's what I hope Congress and the president will work on because I'm tired of hearing this. I'm tired of hearing about these cases and frankly, I don't understand why. Garcia, if all the reporting is even a third true on this guy, why is it that he's not been deported yet? There's something we don't know and we need to learn. And with that I respect for the.
Kennedy
Father of the year award in many states.
Jesse Watters
Right.
Brian Kilmeade
I think his wife is possibly too scared to speak up, but she must be relieved to some way that he's locked up again on way to Uganda. Just real quick there's a. It's really simple to read the police report. This guy was hanging out with ms.13 in an area where almost ms.13. If me or Jesse showed up to hang out with MS.13 and we weren't a member, it wouldn't have went well for us. So why was he there? That's why the cop at the scene said this guy is a member of these guys. They knew who he was so that's why he was picked up. Number two, we got video of the trafficking. I'm watching ABC on the rerun. I watch at between 2 and 3 in the morning I call you guys but you don't pick up. And I'm watching them do the story. There's video of the trafficking. It's great video. You can hear the audio they chose. They don't bring it up in the charges. They, they don't show the video. Why does ABC and I imagine the other networks not interested in showing some controversial elements to his background. So. And there's also three names we should know. It is 30 year old Herbie Dufrinz, Rodriguez Doerr and Fenella Joseph. Those are the three people that we killed. We just got their names the other day. I want to know where their families, those families should be outraged by this, by this foreign truck driver.
Kennedy
All right, thank you for bringing that up, Brian. And coming up next, Trump cracks the barrel. Deal with it. Stay with us.
Emily Compagno
My eyes, they're dry.

President Trump cementing himself as America's cultural juggernaut. Just hours after 47 attacked cracker barrels rebrand, the company cracked. Quote, we said we would listen and we have. Our new logo is going away and our old timer will remain. Now compare that to the Democrats who are still defending the political quicksand known as dei. Watch.
Jesse Watters
These are American values. This is what America was built on. And to my Republican friends and fellow citizens, I say, who profess to be active Christians, I remind them that DEI is the very foundation of the Christian church.
Emily Compagno
Was he the body double for the old timer on the barrel, Kennedy?
Kennedy
Yes, Uncle Herschel is my name. And I will tell you one thing, the Bible is filled with dei. Those three letters appear in the Old and New Testaments. It's like, don't bastardize the Bible. That is so disgusting. Please just keep your George Soros money away from the rest of rational Americans who are absolutely sick of this stuff. But about Cracker Barrel, the CEO is not going to survive this. She is one Coldplay kiss cam away from forceful resignation. The stock has been in trouble. And I have said all along, I don't think it was her brainchild. But someone figured out that if they could gin up a controversy like this, enough people would get on board to fight for the brand, that they would actually raise brand awareness and eventually go all the way around the sun and come back to a point where the stock is now up like 2 1/2% today because they reverted to the original logo that had nothing wrong with it. So you can take your DEI and shove it up your Cracker Barrel, Harold.
Emily Compagno
That's exactly what happened to Disney when they dismantled their two DEI programs. Weird how their stock immediately rose. Will we See, this being the end, the dismantling of what has been the DEI industrial complex.
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, and just one correction. In the Bible, Jesus ate with the sinners. He ate and dined with prostitutes. He ate and dined with the tax collectors who were the worst and the bottom of society. So I think I understand what the gentleman was saying. There's no. I don't see di in the Bible. I read the Bible every day. I don't see that. I would agree with you, but the Jesus I worship is a little different. I've sat on the show all week. I don't understand what we're doing at this set of meetings here. You never bet against the future, but if you're clinging to the past, you're going to lose in the future. We've got to think about what it is that voters, that we. How we didn't connect with voters this last go around and what is it that is at our core that will allow us to do it again. I'm a Democrat because I believe firmly that Democrats in their very best days want everybody's kid to have an opportunity. That doesn't mean Republicans don't, but that's why I'm a Democrat. We are veering away from that now. I'll give President Trump a lot of credit. He told those people Cracker Barrel what to do and they did it. And I joked this morning as I saw the story, I said, maybe the CEO of Cracker Barrel was afraid the president may try to buy them like he's buying intel and buying Boeing and all these other companies. But I'm going to still lead at Cracker Barrel. I said, yes, Danisha, I think I probably need a Cracker Barrel as much as anybody here at Fox. And I'm happy to hear the food hadn't changed.
Emily Compagno
That's the thing. So they listened to the President, let's say. But why weren't they listening to their, to their demographic, to the people that go there every day? Like, at what point will. Let's transfer this to the Dems, at what point will they listen of the voters in America saying just leave it alone or just hear what I want my values and have that be reflected.
Jesse Watters
If we had just put our foot down years ago, think about what we could have saved. Aunt Jemima, the Indian lady in the Land o Lakes Butter, the Redskins, the Cleveland Indians. I could go on for days. Look what they took from us, Emily. Never again. Never again. And I'm trying to think about all the things that we should have done like this years ago. If we had put our foot down in the 80s, we'd still be smoking on planes. Think about the great things we could still be doing if we had just said no. A hard no. And I'm not giving Trump credit for this. I'm giving Fox credit. We covered this story for a week, and he watched it for a week, and then he basically, you know, hit the winning shot. Okay, Mr. President, nice job. But come on, it was. It was all us. All right, but think about the powerful combination of Fox and Trump. It's the biggest one, two punch the world's ever seen, and I think we should start exploiting it for our personal benefit. For instance, Emma wants to paint my brick fireplace in the kitchen white. I don't think that's classy. I don't like the look.
Harold Ford Jr.
You want black?
Jesse Watters
No, I want to keep it nice and brick. You should see my kitchen. It's phenomenal. Everyone's talking about it. The. I'm going to start doing segments on the maintaining of the classic brick fireplaces. Trump's going to see it, he's going to truth it, and there's no way Emma's going to paint that thing white. These are the things we need to start doing.
Emily Compagno
Poor Emma. So what do you think? The layup and then President Trump dunked it.
Brian Kilmeade
A couple of things. Jess, you just said career advice. You got to go easy on Trump. You're a little too tough on him right there, I think. Just back off. Did I go to a nine, right? Yeah, you did go to me. Mended 9.8. And I just don't want you to plummet any further. The other thing we're not bringing up is that the reason why Cracker Barrel change is their. Their business down 55% in the last five years. So they did have a make, you know, the macaroni and cheese and the. No, no selling alcohol. Maybe they got to make. You know, they were trying to be younger. Maybe they should do it right. They should maybe sell a beer or two, you know, a margarita. Give these people a liquor license.
Jesse Watters
They've already earned their keep.
Brian Kilmeade
I mean, that's one of the main reasons when you want to have a beer, you see a Cracker Barrel. I'm like, I'm going to go to.
Jesse Watters
A rest stop, sell some rye whiskeys.
Brian Kilmeade
I just wouldn't. A lot of beer, but I'm just like cannabis. All right?
Jesse Watters
Off the chocolate, I'm opposed to.
Brian Kilmeade
All right, I'm gonna end right there. I'm gonna save my time a little.
Emily Compagno
Bit later, all right? I'm gonna keep ordering sweet tea at Cracker Barrel. I don't even know. All right, up next, woke Vanity Fair. Snowflakes freak out over Melania Trump. Don't smile.

Jesse Watters
Get the man I am. What kind of man do you need?
Brian Kilmeade
That's the question. What kind of man does Kennedy need? We'll see about that. It's a Melania mutiny. Vanity fairstaffers are vowing a rebellion. We will a little bit later. After the outlets top brass floated the idea of featuring the first lady on the COVID One editor said, quote, I will walk out the mother bleepin door. Half my staff will follow me. If I have to work bagging groceries at Trader Joe's, I'll do it. You believe this? This is the first lady in the United States, a supermodel on the COVID of a magazine. So it's Jesse. It's Mark Guidici. He took over Vanity Fair. He says, yeah, I might be putting her on the COVID To me, that's what you should be doing as an editor, maximizing the viewership.
Jesse Watters
Was Jill on the COVID twice? I think she was on the COVID twice.
Brian Kilmeade
And then you have.
Jesse Watters
Was Michelle Obama on the COVID three times? Okay.
Emily Compagno
On Vogue.
Jesse Watters
Do you think those two women are prettier than Melania Trump?
Harold Ford Jr.
You're not going to answer that?
Emily Compagno
I can answer that. Not going to answer that?
Jesse Watters
No. Do you think they're pretty? Is it not about pretty? Is it about fashion? Because Melania is also more fashionable, right?
Brian Kilmeade
She is. She's the most attractive first lady ever. Let's be honest. I have not seen Martha.
Jesse Watters
Martha Washington.
Brian Kilmeade
I have not seen her.
Jesse Watters
She's not your type.
Brian Kilmeade
The problem is when you have portraits instead of pictures, you can't really get a good look. Thank you.
Jesse Watters
What about Jackie O?
Brian Kilmeade
All right, what's your point? Why?
Jesse Watters
What's my point? What's your point? You said she's going to start dating somebody.
Harold Ford Jr.
Can I save you guys?
Kennedy
My legal domestic partner would have a big issue legally.
Harold Ford Jr.
Let me save you guys. The reason I want her on the COVID of Vanity Fair? Well, two things. First, people who work at institutions who have differences with the institution, they have every right to leave. All these threats that people think they can make of an institution, just leave and then voice your thing now. You guys are so wrong. She should not be on the COVID She is an attractive woman. She should not be on the COVID event. I wouldn't buy it because she's an attractive person on the COVID event. I want to hear what I would buy first. I want to hear, what did she say in that letter? That she had her husband, the most powerful man in the world, get to that thug, that war criminal in Alaska when they tried to. When they tried to work a deal which they've still not been able to work, she had her husband give him a letter saying, release those kids. And I want to know if she believes.
Brian Kilmeade
Yeah, what's the angle to the story?
Harold Ford Jr.
But I want to know how much is she. This is not meant to sow any political. I just want to know where does she and her husband see on this thing? Eye to eye. What more would she be doing? She clearly is a very thoughtful and smart person. She has a Persona because people dislike him. She has a Persona because. Because of how attractive she is. But this is a very serious woman who is working on AI, who's working on mental health issues, is now working on children's issues in Ukraine. Whether you agree with her husband or not, I'd love to hear that or read about that event. That's why I want to see it. Not that, not because of. And you guys were joking. I know, but she's a serious person who's done some. Who's doing equally serious things in this second term here.
Brian Kilmeade
Emily, I want to find out who these people are, these mid level staffers. This guy, this editor should find out and go, hey, here you have a problem, you can quit.
Emily Compagno
It's a perfect illustration. So they're saying, oh, it highlights the cultural war of the younger progressive staffers mixed with the sort of editorial, you know, the establishment editorial board. That's not at all what this is. This to me completely shows how those that consider themselves liberal refuse to even have discourse. And that they are so myopic, that they are so blunted mentally and intellectually that they can't see the lost opportunity. They put Michelle Obama three times on Vogue, they put Jill Biden on Vogue, and Vanity Fair can't see that this is a first lady who, who has these platforms, who wrote a letter to Putin to Herald's point this is one half essentially of the Oval Office, and they are failing to actually give her the platform that she. They are depriving the American people to have learning more about it. So for me, they should do a soul searching there at the magazine. We can find out from Melania about her causes on our own. But I feel like the Vanity Fair leadership needs to terminate all of those children that can't see beyond their progressive flags. And Beto o' Rourke on the COVID that he apparently was good enough.
Brian Kilmeade
So Kennedy, wrap it up.
Kennedy
Well, Brian, I know the first lady of the United States, America's first lady, spoke to you and she said that she did not need to be on the COVID of any magazine, whether it's Vogue or Vanity Fair. She's done that very famous quote, very famous interview that she's done with you. She's already been there and I thought that was great of her. She's already rising above the fray. And, you know, to Harold's point, I think that she would have a lot to say and I think she would sell a lot of magazines. And that's what Marco Ducci knows, is that she, for whatever reason, she may be the nicest, calmest person in the world. She's still one half of a very polarizing marriage.
Brian Kilmeade
Yeah.
Kennedy
And people, whether they grudge read it or they adore her, everyone's going to buy the magazine. He would probably love to come in and clean house, just like Skydance did with CBS when they cancel Colbert. Because you, you have a lot of sniveling libs who are sitting around in their own dirty diapers that are. I'm sure there are plenty of executives happy to show them the door because they don't respect the bottom line. And if you don't respect the bottom line, as you said you wanted to see Melania in a bathing suit, which I thought was.
Jesse Watters
Oh, my gosh, Brian, come on, class it up.
Brian Kilmeade
You know, I want to make sure small talk during the break. I didn't know it was going to come out during the. During the second.
Jesse Watters
I think he said Ms. Nixon. First Lady. Ms. Nixon.
Brian Kilmeade
Patricia.
Harold Ford Jr.
Patricia.
Brian Kilmeade
All right. Meanwhile, coming up, the Swifties are losing their minds.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'll stop now.
Kennedy
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
CB Cotton

It's a love story. Swifty fever is sweeping America. After Taylor and Travis announce their engagement, a professor cancel class and others can't shake it off.
Emily Compagno
Taylor Swift is engaged.
Kennedy
Taylor Swift is engaged. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.
CB Cotton
I feel like Paul Revere right now.
Kennedy
Why do I want to cry?
Harold Ford Jr.
Look, I think all of this is great, but it comes back to our conversation about social media and how people are, you know, I'm happy for them. I want them to be. Want them to be happy. But is this justified? Justifiable? You think?
CB Cotton
Brian?
Brian Kilmeade
It totally stunned me. I thought it was a joke. I did not think it was real. I mean, that's a White House correspondent, right?
Harold Ford Jr.
White House, Right.
Brian Kilmeade
So. So, number one, I just. Overall, the union is fascinating because you have the arts artsy community that never played sports following Taylor Swift. And then you have Travis Kelsey, a man's man. That's what Jesse calls him. And a fantastic player. And they brought the two worlds together. So the artsy people suddenly getting into football and Travis Kelsey showing up at her concerts makes it feel like the sports guys can hang out with the theater kids. That's what this symbolizes in America. But that. But some people feel as though they're getting married. They feel like they got engaged. I think that's a little scary.
Harold Ford Jr.
Kennedy, what are your thoughts about this?
Kennedy
Get a grip, people. Man alive. This is all about the timing of her album, the Last Showgirl, whatever it's called, the life of a showgirl that's coming out in October, his season starting. She's trying to sell vinyl copies that are selling out left and right of the new album. They got engaged weeks ago. This whole thing was staged.
Emily Compagno
Of course.
Kennedy
They're really in love, blah, blah, blah. And I hope they're happy privately. But now we have to go through.
Emily Compagno
Who'S going to make the dress, who's.
Kennedy
Not going to be invited to the bachelorette party. I wrote about all of it in Daily Mail.
Harold Ford Jr.
Emily, your thoughts?
Emily Compagno
Well, I don't understand why we didn't see even an iota of this. Remember when Jessica Simpson married NFL player? No, Nick. Or I mean the. The NFL.
Kennedy
No, they did get married.
Jesse Watters
Who?
Emily Compagno
Wait a minute. Go to someone else. But you know what I'm saying. I can't remember the NFL.
Harold Ford Jr.
You had an interesting tape. You think this helps? The Eagles?
Jesse Watters
Yeah. No, I think it helps. I think he's have a bad year because he's going to be distracted. And men can't focus when all this other stuff's going on. Right. Andy Reid said dumper I have that on high authority. I have it. I'm an Eagles guy. He's a Philly guy. I know Andy Reid said dumper before the season.
Emily Compagno
What?
Brian Kilmeade
Okay.
Jesse Watters
He said date a cheerleader.
Harold Ford Jr.
I hope Andy.
Emily Compagno
That's right.
Harold Ford Jr.
If he did said. I hope he can shake that off. One more thing.
Jesse Watters
Oh, shut up.
