Jillian Turner
Hello everyone. I'm Jillian Turner along with Kennedy, Jessica Tarlov, Charlie Hurt and Greg GUTFELD. It is five o' clock here in New York City. This is the five seen a violence there erupting at two marijuana farms out west in California. 200 illegal immigrants were arrested. More than 500 protesters showed up on scene there to try and antagonize that operation. One man was seen pulling a gun, appearing to fire on federal agents who are conducting lawful raids at those sites just outside la. The feds had arrived on the scene with a warrant for illegal employees. Other agitators can be seen here blocking roads, attacking agents with rocks. The CBP commissioner claims the pop farm in question is now under investigation for child labor violations. They've released this image of ten migrant juveniles, eight of them unaccompanied. President Trump's border czar says the protesters have now crossed a clear line.
Charlie Hurt
Listen, what happened in California is just another example of protesters becoming criminals. And they've been emboldened by even members of Congress who compare ICE to Nazis and racists and terrorists. I mean, the rhetoric is so high. And Ice said 2 months ago it's going to end up with a loss of life. And we had one the other day in Texas and it's not over. I mean, the rhetoric has to end. ICE agents are simply enforcing the law that members of Congress enacted.
Jillian Turner
Well, California's Governor, Gavin Newsom, sharing his outrage, saying, quote, kids running from tear gas, crying on the phone because the mother was just taken from the fields. Trump calls me new scum, but he's the real scum. The attacks on ICE agents, caps Off a dangerous week for immigration officials who have faced two separate ambushes on their facilities and a whole lot of heated rhetoric.
Greg Gutfeld
I don't care. Throw me in jail. Do what you have to do. I'm going to continue to stand up.
Jillian Turner
What's right will be a reckoning for some of the actions that law enforcement.
Greg Gutfeld
Actual law enforcement, have done.
Harris Faulkner
They are kidnapping people and transporting them to concentration camps.
Ryan Reynolds
Those chilling words that we used to.
Greg Gutfeld
Hear in movie dialogue about Nazis.
Ryan Reynolds
Papers, please. Are now more chilling than ever.
Jillian Turner
Well, Charlie, the FBI is now offering a $50,000 reward for information that can lead to the apprehension of the guy who was seen there with the gun, appearing to try and shoot an ICE officer.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah. And it's really kind of extraordinary. If you step back and look at it, you have the scenes that we saw right there. An actual, what appears to be somebody firing at ICE agents who are, as Homan points out, just enforcing the law. And then you have the governor of California, maybe Democrats, one of their very best hopes for 2028, actually siding with the protesters in this case against ICE agents and continuing to vilify ICE agents. And then you have the mayor of L. A now talking about wanting to give actual cash payments to illegals paid for by American taxpayers who have been disrupted by all this. Look, two of the past three elections have been about immigration, illegal immigration. Democrats have lost both of them. The 2020 election was about COVID I don't think that's going to come back. But if, you know, Democrats want 2028 to be about illegal immigration again, I don't think it's going to work out very well for them. And. But that appears to be the sort of direction they want to go in.
Jillian Turner
Well, so to take it from there, Jessica, I've heard a lot of people say today pushing back that when it comes to illegal immigration and the next election cycle, 320,000 children is the figure that I've heard floated that went missing during the Biden administration, that being children who crossed the border illegally, either unaccompanied or with family members, and then remain somehow unaccounted for today.
Lisa Schneider
Not good, obviously. And Democrats had a loss in their hands in 2024 because of an immigration issue. And it was also an election about the economy and inflation and grocery prices. But I have not seen a Democrat who says that we could run the same, the same campaign again. Finding those children taking responsibility for mistakes made in the first three years of the Biden administration, I think will be central to anyone who is going to be a Real contender in a primary that will probably have 20 people standing up on that stage again. So not looking to go backwards on that, but in terms of looking at what's going on today and looking forward, you know, one of the things that makes Donald Trump so successful is that he can be ideologically inconsistent and still maintain his support. And one of the things that I think in his gut he's actually more reasonable about are aspects of the immigration problem. Like when he says things like the people who, you know, pick the crops or the people who work in the hotels, those are good people. I'm not talking about those people. I'm talking about the criminals. Then Stephen Miller comes in and he says, no, no, no, we mean everybody. But now Axios is reporting that they want to have a new visa system. They want to try to fast track these visas for people who do pick our fruit and pack our meat and clean our hotels. I'm sure Stephen Miller will freak out about that again. But that is the type of position that the average American, not just the Trump voter, but the average Democrat, could actually get behind. And there was a new Gallup poll out today that was absolutely devastating for President Trump on this immigration issue. 35% approval, 62% disapproval. Now only 30% want immigration decrease. That's down by 50, down from 55% just last year. Record high. 79% think immigration is good for the country. Only 38% supporting mass deportation. Things are changing because of how people are seeing that this plan is being enforced. President Trump, if you're going to fast track visas for people, good folks that do these jobs, I think that's a step in the right direction. But Democrats have a massive opportunity.
Jillian Turner
Well, Greg, everybody said who was in favor of legalizing marijuana, right? Legalize the pot, legalize the means of distribution, legalize the drug. It's going to go to see this huge reduction in crime, right? So fast forward to these two incidents this week. You're seeing a marijuana plant that is now facing multiple lawsuits for not paying wages to its illegal workers. You're seeing them facing an investigation now for using child labor. You had an illegal immigrant on the property who tried to shoot an ICE officer. It's not looking good.
Greg Gutfeld
Come on. You know, these are just like hardworking people, probably honor students. They probably do a lot of volunteer work. Imagine watching Jaws and rooting for the shark. Imagine watching Night of the Living Dead and rooting for the zombies. Imagine watching Fox and Friends and rooting for Kill Meade. For some reason, the modern Democrat, the modern progressive picks the Wrong side in every contest. And then they hide behind this shield of false compassion so that they claim. They can claim that they are on the right side. We're just protecting the juveniles. No, you're embracing child labor. That's what Gavin Newsom just did. Just like they embraced, you know, a wife beater. The Maryland dad gang members. Oh, they're not really there. The twisted men invading women's safe spaces. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. They're an oppressed group. When you play that montage of all those losers, just remember, do not get your news or your polls from them because they don't mean a thing. You can claim they're devastating. You claim the polls doesn't mean anything because it's not credible. It is not credible. And I'll tell you why. The legacy media claimed migrant gangs taking over apartments in Aurora. In Aurora, Colorado happened. Now, they had to walk it back. The Times had did a whole piece on how, my God, Trent Aragua was in these apartment buildings and they were terrorizing downtown Aurora. Of course, there's the myth building of the Maryland dad, right? Oh, no, he's. He's such an innocent man. And you find that he's a wife beater. He's a human trafficker. Then do not forget the accusations of border agents that they were whipping Haitians. What happened to that story? Never got an apology for that. So this will always play out in the same way. You enforce the law. They pretend to care, but they always choose the side that is breaking the law because they see the system as oppressed. That is the filter that they use in every case. The party, the Democratic Party you were mentioning, you know, they got. Are they going to change? Can they change? No. They're like a therapy patient that. Who claims they want to change, who claims they want to get better, as long as they can still do methods. So they assume, yeah, I could solve all my problems, but without addressing the source of the problems, in this case, their meth is this identity that they've called from being, I would say from the campuses that everything that works in America has to be part of an oppressive system that needs to be dismantled, whether it's law enforcement or the border. Whatever you want.
Jillian Turner
Kennedy. I saved the best for last for you. Take a listen to LA's mayor talking about illegal immigration, her new plans for her city.
Greg Gutfeld
We also are going to have a reinstitution of the Angeleno card, something that Mayor Garcetti started during COVID that will actually provide cash assistance to people because, you know, you have People who don't want to leave their homes, who are not going to work, and they are in need of cash.
Jillian Turner
So she's, to be clear, she's talking there about folks who are in LA illegally.
Harris Faulkner
Yes.
Jillian Turner
So because the government is no longer providing funding, she's now going to raise it elsewhere to make sure that people continue to raise.
Harris Faulkner
This, unfortunately, is the natural conclusion of a sanctuary state and a sanctuary city. This is what they've invited. They want people to come into the state. They want people to come into the city because they work for cheap. Los Angeles and California both have massive budget deficits. And this has been the entire idea. I mean, this is what the economy rests upon. It's on the backs of people who are working for far less than minimum wage. And Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass aren't crying about that. You know, they want them to be voters, but they have no problem that they're, you know, entire industries are taking advantage of. Of kids who are here. You know, it's like, one could argue that being trafficked for work is almost as devastating as the sexual abuse that a lot of these kids also come across when they're not here with an adult. They get lost within the system. And, you know, Gavin Newsom isn't crying about that. He ekes out these little crocodile tears whenever it gives him political cover for the failures which are colossal and legion in his state. And so he will use this as a way of creating a political shield to make it seem like he's doing something. Like he's crying for a moment about people who he has invited here and turned his back on and allowed pretty much every industry to take advantage of.
Jillian Turner
Wow.
Harris Faulkner
Well, other than that, I think he's amazing, and I'm voting for him.
Jillian Turner
Again, I was just gonna say, I think we're gonna leave it there. This is gonna be the first time in history I ever ended an A block on time. But now you have to say something.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, no, I wasn't going to say anything other than happy Halloween.
Jillian Turner
It wasn't funny the first time, but.
Greg Gutfeld
It wasn't on camera.
Jillian Turner
Had to get it in there. All right, well, coming up next, she's overtime. Now I'm overtime. And I'm distracted by the sound of Greg's furious marker scribbling. Coming up next, Jamie Dimon attacks Democratic Socialist Zoran Mamdani. And New Yorker supporting his bid to be the next mayor of New York City. Stick with us.
Harris Faulkner
An accused rapist murder.
Jessica Tarlov

Harris Faulkner
I would like for Zoran Mamdani to take a walk the heck out of New York City. Ken Dem stopped a hot commie summer in the Big Apple here. Jamie Dimon seems hopeful. The JPMorgan kingpin torching Zoran Mamdani, calling him, quote, more of a Marxist than a socialist. Dimon also blasting Zoran's comrades in the Democrat Party, saying, quote, I have a lot of friends who are Democrats and they're idiots. I always say they have big hearts and little brains. But not everyone is getting the message. DNC chair Ken Martin had an eyebrow raising response to Mamdani's refusal to to condemn an anti Semitic phrase.
Lisa Schneider
Watch.
Greg Gutfeld
There's no candidate in this party that I agree 100% of the time with. To be honest with you. There's things that I don't agree with Mamdani that he said you win by bringing people into your coalition. And at the end of the day for me, that's the type of party we're going to lead. We are a big tent party.
Harris Faulkner
He looks like the HR guy at the State Department. Okay, so Jessica, let's talk about fire problem.
Jillian Turner
It's not going to end well.
Harris Faulkner
Jessica, let's talk a little bit about this. So Jamie Dimon, he's bad mouthing Democrats. He's also trying to get some of his big money friends to get together and defeat mom Donnie. That is their primary objective. At this point, they don't even care who it is. But will it be enough?
Lisa Schneider
Right now it doesn't seem so because it's not coordinated well enough. If you were actually able to bring together the anti Mamdani coalition and pick up some people who might support Curtis Sliwa on the Republican side, I think you could do it. And I think Eric Adams is the most feasible vehicle to do that since in the primary Cuomo got his, his tushy beat pretty bad. But you know, you're seeing this debate within the party going on from the folks who like Mondami and who don't, you know, you want an extraordinary amount of primary voters like 556,000. And there are a lot of people who support him who do not agree with a lot of his policies, but they appreciated, you know, his energy, his enthusiasm, and his focus on affordability, which is something that basically, no matter what you make, unless you're Jamie Dimon, people in this city are talking about. It's, you know, it's hard to. To do really well here, to think that you have enough to save, to send your kids to college, buy your first home. Now, that's later than it's ever been before. I think up to the 41 on average. And so you're seeing some leaders who don't like Mamdani, who supported Cuomo and. Or Eric Adams coming out and endorsing him, because they're saying that this is a will of the people issue. And I don't know what is going to happen within the party. Are you going to vote for Mamdani? No, it is not my plan to vote for him.
Harris Faulkner
Who would you vote for?
Lisa Schneider
It is bleak out there right now. I think it's a big mistake that a kind of normie Democrat like a Dan Goldman didn't get into this race. I think they would have. It would have been a huge victory if you had had someone that felt more mainstream and didn't have as much baggage.
Harris Faulkner
Well, I think Ken Martin's gonna. He's gonna need something to do pretty soon so maybe he can get into the race. So, Charlie, let's talk about this, because, sure, New York is an expensive city. Does that mean that everyone who is moved by Zoran Mamdani's TikTok videos deserves to live here on the cheap?
Ryan Reynolds
Well, I do. I mean, I do think that he deserves credit for actually addressing a lot of the issues that politicians on both sides of the aisle have ignored for a long time. And I think the conservatives have a better story to tell about that and can do a better job of doing it. And they've kind of failed. And, of course, that's why Donald Trump came in and took over the Republican Party. Mamdani's presence rise in New York City is more than anything, a complete rebuke of decades of Democrat control of the city and Democrat policies in the city. And so I think that there. And I hope that you're right, Jessica, that there are a lot of people who voted for him who don't believe everything he believes. But I don't see any evidence of that. And I think there are probably, especially when you get into young people, there are a lot of people who believe everything that he has to say. But I did want to just say one thing about Jamie Dimon. Maybe Democrats have a lot of hoaxes, and one of the biggest hoaxes is that liberals have big hearts. I don't doubt that they think they have big hearts and they want to make themselves feel better by appearing to have big hearts. But I don't think that they do have big hearts. I think that when you have policies like socialism, which is the most brutal, cruel thing that's ever been invented, killed 100 million people over the past hundred years, when you think of policies like open borders, it is the cruelest policy there is. And it's only. It's a natural progression that you wind up a pot farm in Texas, getting busted with child labor, that. With smuggled children across the border. That's what happens with liberal policies. So I just reject this idea. I know that's sort of a cliche that, oh, liberals have big hearts. I don't think that they do.
Harris Faulkner
Yeah. Do you think Jamie Dimon would be talking this stuff if Kamala Harris were president?
Jillian Turner
I don't really take political advice from Jamie Dimon, so I don't know. But I will say that about Mom. Donnie, the thing you have to remember is that a socialist label never sent any liberal New Yorkers, like, running for the hills. That doesn't scare them. As you guys pointed out very well, he clinched the primary based on this campaign centered on, you know, making New York more affordable, cheaper. And Democrats really like that. What they're going to have to decide when they vote for him is if they like him enough and that platform enough to take it, along with some of the less palatable views he holds, like support for bds, like calling the state of Israel an apartheid government after October 7, refusing to condemn calls for antifada. To me, those are the bigger questions that voters in this city are going to, unfortunately, have to grapple with. It's a tough choice.
Harris Faulkner
Well, there aren't a lot of voters in New York, so I don't think he has to worry about that.
Jillian Turner
Correct. Yes, exactly.
Harris Faulkner
Greg, where do we go from here?
Greg Gutfeld
As do we go.
Harris Faulkner
You and I both live in Gotham, Greg.
Greg Gutfeld
That is true.
Harris Faulkner
Terrifying.
Jillian Turner
Should I just talk about you all?
Greg Gutfeld
All right. Dimon. Jamie Dimon. Strange name, but okay, look, I'm going to tell him what Rick Grenell said to me on Gutfeld. Like, I don't know, it was like, 10 years ago. I was complaining about Trump.
Jillian Turner
Rick Grenell?
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, Rick Grenell. And I was complaining about Trump, about criticizing about certain things. Oh, he does this.
Ryan Reynolds
He does this.
Greg Gutfeld
And Rick Grinnell goes Gutfeld, then why don't you just run? And it, like, clicked. It's like, I'm not running. You know, it's like this guy is taking the slings and the arrows. So, Jamie, you should run rather than talk about it. You got the money, you got the brains, you got the voice.
Lisa Schneider
He would have won.
Greg Gutfeld
You would win. So if you care strongly enough about this city. Right now they're trying to rebrand Zoran as something new. But a new socialist is the same as the old socialist. It's like painting a cyanide pill. You take it, you die. Zoran said that police should not be sent to domestic violence calls. Chalk this up as another example of leftists selling out women. An illegal can rape and kill, but that's just a fraction. Men invading women safe spaces. No, but they're also women. Now a woman gets beaten brutally by her drunken heathen husband. Send an activist. Send an activist. Send the Maryland dad. He's free. And then you go, well, why shouldn't you send the cops? He blames the New York Police Department, saying they punish poor black and brown people. His assumption is that domestic violence only happens among black people and brown people. He believes that if you send the police there, it's going to hurt them, because white people, we don't beat up our spouses. That's what he believes. He also forgets the NYPD is minority majority. It's made up of black and brown officers. So apparently he thinks you're racist. Lastly, he referenced homeless people in New York City, saying, in the subway, you shouldn't send cops down there. Okay, all right. One homeless guy set a woman on fire. They also pushed women in front of subway cars. They brutally beat up women. One of them hit a woman with a pipe. And his answer is, send social workers. I bet you couldn't find one social worker that would agree to that job. He has no idea what he's talking about. Which makes him so popular among Democrats.
Jillian Turner
They should send the social workers defense station stat, because I got off there a few hours ago. You don't want to go there.
Greg Gutfeld
The social workers. The social workers would not touch a homeless person. They would not touch them.
Harris Faulkner
Oh, and domestic violence calls are some of the most dangerous that police respond to.
Greg Gutfeld
But don't go with a gun. Please send somebody with a pamphlet.
Jillian Turner
That'll work.
Harris Faulkner
Coming up. One year since President Trump came millimeters from death and all the Secret Service did was suspend agents, a lot of unanswered questions we'll get to next Someday.
Greg Gutfeld

So it's been nearly one year since the unthinkable President Trump coming millimeters from death. An assassin's bullet grazed his ear. It left him bloodied, but not broken. He rose to his feet, fists in the air. But tragically, a brave firefighter lost his life. This Sunday marks that dark anniversary, and President Trump sat down with Lara Trump to reflect on the day chaos hit Butler, Pennsylvania.
I
I didn't know exactly what was going on. I got whacked, there's no question about that. And fortunately got down quickly. People were screaming and I got down quickly, fortunately, because I think they shot eight bullets and one got me and one got another one, and one got another one and one killed. Corey, the firefighter, great guy. Our sniper, within less than five seconds, was able to get him from a long distance with one shot. If he didn't do that, you would have had an even worse situation. It was really bad, but he really did offend it. His name is David and he did a fantastic job. We got a little bit lucky in that regard.
Ryan Reynolds
As for the agency that failed him, the Secret Service has suspended six agents from Trump's detail without pay for up to 42 days. A slap on the wrist for a near assassination. Before we get into the particulars of this, I want to ask you, Greg, one year ago, it's just been a year since that happened. It's been two years since Trump was under federal criminal indictments all up and down the East Coast. I mean, it's kind of wild to think about.
Greg Gutfeld
Sometimes I like to travel to a parallel universe. What if this were a Democrat? Could you imagine how the media would have reacted, how we would have been treated? There would have been talks of white supremacy, maga, extremism, militant parents, the crackdown on all of us, on speech. But then it happened to him. And what one news cycle it was act like it didn't happen at all. Some people denied that it happened. I saw the wound. I don't know. A couple days after Trump shows me the wound, he goes, I'm showing it to you, cuz I bet a lot of people don't believe it. I thought he was joking, but he was right, because the moment I said that I saw it, that became news, you know, and then you think about the rhetorical restraint that happened. How long did that actually last? You know, demonization is, is their crack and they can't stop hitting that pipe. They were back on it. And it's just, it's a mindset. It's not about policy anymore. It's a mindset that was instilled before Democrats had a chance for thoughtfulness. Starts on campus. The idea that if you see everything through the lens of power, all things are acceptable. These ICE protests are acceptable. The rise of socialism in New York is acceptable. The persistent demonization is acceptable. And it all stems from this filter that if you disagree with me politically, you are an oppressor.
Ryan Reynolds
So, Gillian, after that, the former director, Kimberly Cheadle famously resigned her post.
Jillian Turner
Since then, after testimony, after disastrous, disastrous testimony.
Ryan Reynolds
Since then, six agents we are now told, have been punished in some way. It does seem like for a massive screw up like that, that there might have been a little bit more of a retribution within the agency.
Jillian Turner
It does seem strange, right? I mean, the first thing to happen in politics when there's a problem, when something goes haywire and crazy wrong, is that like a cabinet official falls on their sword for the president. Nothing like that seems to have gone down here in the wake of, I guess, Cheadle standing down. But that was before anybody knew anything. I mean, part of the reason she stepped aside was because she was asked by Congress to talk about some of the details of planning that went into that day. And she had nothing, nothing, and wouldn't share anything whatsoever. So it is quite odd, I would say, that there's not been more fallout that so few details are made public even today. I will say something good to come out of all of this is that Alexis McAdams interviewed Corey Comparatore's widow today. Quite moving interview. She talked about how her family has been completely forgotten in all of this a year later. They have no information, they have no explanation for what went wrong that day. Who is at fault, what exactly happened? Pretty shocking considering, you know, her husband lost his life that day. Another thing I hate to hear people say on today, on the anniversary and all along is that tragedy was narrowly avoided that day. It wasn't avoided.
Ryan Reynolds
Right, right.
Jillian Turner
A man died. I mean, and the President was Shot nearly in the head and thankfully he's okay. But a man actually died and astonishingly.
Ryan Reynolds
Little is known about the shooter still.
Lisa Schneider
Totally. It blows everyone's mind. No matter how you vote. I feel like this is the uniform reaction, which is how is it possible that we don't know more about that kid? But he's cremated 48 hours later? Where are his parents? They don't have to explain any of this. Trump was interviewed by Bret Baier in mid May and Brett asked him about it. He said, anytime that we push about this, we get stonewalling back from the agency on it. And Trump said the guy had, the kid had three apps on his phone. Two were foreign apps. In some, you know, years before, his family had managed to afford this very high end lawyer even though they didn't have a ton of money. What is the deal with this family? And even the guy who showed up on the golf course to kill him, he said he had 18 cell phones. We don't know anything about that. And to your point, Kennedy, we don't know anything about the Vegas shooter. Right. And it's been years about that. And by keeping us in the dark, and I am in no way saying that they should tell us every single detail of these things, like they're the professionals and there's some information that should be shared and that some that needs to be kept private within the intelligence community. But nobody is buying the idea that this is just a six agent suspended for 42 days kind of situation. Makes no sense. And we were, you know, we were in Milwaukee for the RNC when this happens. You're watching the guy who was on the BBC live saying he's up there. Remember the guy who was being interviewed like, and that a local cop got up there, then came back down. None of it makes any sense.
Ryan Reynolds
No surprise to you. The government is really good at being incompetent. And I mean, they're truly incompetent about everything, but they're really good at keeping secrets.
Harris Faulkner
Well, and this was also the event that shifted the race. You know, as you remember, Elon Musk said famously that he was staying out of American presidential politics certainly during the last election cycle. And the President's reaction helped him to realize that we had to do something more in this country to take it back. And so, and I just assumed, you know, when polls started going in Trump's favor and at the very end of the race when it looked like, you know, it was not quite as tight as we had been led to believe when he was reelected, I'm like, one of the first things I thought was, great, we're going to have a massive overhaul of the Secret Service. This is what has to happen. Because you can't have this happen again regardless of which party happens to have their man or woman in power. And, you know, there should have been more outrage from Democrats. There should have been more outrage and calls for a drastic restructuring. And a year later, we're hearing about a few suspensions when, you know, to Jessica's point, if you look at the timeline and this kid's whereabouts, how they were known to so many different people, including local law enforcement, before Trump took the stage, and they still were unable to communicate that to the Secret Service, to his team, to keep him off the stage when there was a kid with drones and a viewfinder on top of a roof. So the fact that the ill communication between local and federal law enforcement, that that hasn't been addressed and remedied, and that should be just one small part of it. But that is truly shocking.
Ryan Reynolds
This is how you wind up with something that we're still talking about in 60 years and we probably will still be talking about.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, we would solve the Epstein controversy in the Kennedy. Yes.

It's terrible. Nobody drink the beer. The beer has gone bad.
Lisa Schneider
A viral post on Reddit questioning if 90s movies Red cup ragers are real. Kennedy, I say you're Queen of the 90s at the table.
Harris Faulkner
Thank you.
Lisa Schneider
Defend our red cup honor here.
Harris Faulkner
No, absolutely. It happened. No red solo cup parties. Absolutely happened. Inside, outside. There was a reason, like Sixteen Candles, that rager, sure. Like, it was probably bigger portrayed in the movie than it was in real life, but those. It happened. My brother threw a rager when he thought my mom was out of town and she showed up. She's just upstairs a day early. She came back from her work trip a day early and she walked in. There were high school kids everywhere. And my brother's friend went and grabbed a solo cup, filled it up from the keg in the middle of the kitchen and was like, you're Mrs. Mott.
Jillian Turner
Sorry.
Lisa Schneider
So like an actual movie happened in your house?
Harris Faulkner
I wasn't even there. I was at a sleepover at Kiki's.
Lisa Schneider
Kiki?
Harris Faulkner
Yes.
Lisa Schneider
Jillian. Why does Gen Z doubt us?
Jillian Turner
I think because they've never experienced like.
Lisa Schneider
But why haven't they?
Jillian Turner
The amazingness that was like a house party in the 90s, you know, like in somebody's parents basement. I will say I think they also don't believe that it ever happened because Gen Z does not. I don't mean to be a bad influence on anyone, but it's like you can't have a house for party if you're not drinking beer and smoking cigarettes. And this generation doesn't do that. They like vape and drink non alcoholic mocktails. So it's like how much fun are you really gonna have? But do they really. Sorry, do they really? They like thumbs up, everybody's sober and they don't smoke cigarettes.
Ryan Reynolds
But it's because they Talk like they FaceTime and stuff like that. You couldn't do that when we were growing up. You had to like sneak out of the house and go down the street and find out whose parents weren't home and have a massive party. And if you didn't, you would find an abandoned house in the woods and you'd have a rager there.
Jillian Turner
That sounds like a horror movie though, whatever you're talking about.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, but we would do that. I've never felt more disconnected with young people.
Greg Gutfeld
This show is so lame. The reason why there are no house parties is. Cause there's no houses.
Jillian Turner
What does that mean?
Greg Gutfeld
Nobody has houses anymore, Jillian. They all live in tents. What are you gonna have a tent party?
Harris Faulkner
Huh?
Greg Gutfeld
We forget the homeless. The homeless cannot have house parties. You disgust me.
Jillian Turner
Anyway, moving on.
Lisa Schneider
Fan mail Friday is up next.
Jillian Turner
Can we keep.
Greg Gutfeld
Each other company?

By the age of nine. First question. This is a good question. What's something you've changed your mind on about recently? And why?
Jillian Turner
Hmm?
Greg Gutfeld
Gillian, what have you changed your mind on? That orange perhaps isn't a good color to wear on the five.
Lisa Schneider
That's not nice.
Jillian Turner
I look great. What are you talking about?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, you do look great, but I'd.
Jillian Turner
Like to see you wear orange and pull that off.
Greg Gutfeld
You'd like me.
Ryan Reynolds
You'd like me to.
Greg Gutfeld
Like me to wear something orange and pull it off.
Jillian Turner
Going somewhere? I don't want to.
Greg Gutfeld
You just got yourself a deal, lady.
Jillian Turner
Here's what I changed my mind about.
Greg Gutfeld
Meet me up behind the moon tower. Okay.
Ryan Reynolds
Go ahead.
Jillian Turner
Here's what I changed my mind about. Are you ready?
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Jillian Turner
Bagels and cream cheese.
Greg Gutfeld
Why? You don't like it?
Jillian Turner
Hate it. Disgusting. But now I like it.
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, now you like it.
Jillian Turner
Now I like it. I get it. After growing up in New York my whole life, never liking bagels with cream cheese, I get it.
Greg Gutfeld
All right, Charlie.
Ryan Reynolds
Mine's lame. I've never been a morning person, but now I'm a morning person.
Jillian Turner
Oh, occupational.
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, that's right. You get. What time you get up now?
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, like four o'. Clock.
Jillian Turner
I don't think it makes you a morning person, the fact that you have to get up for your job. I don't think you're the catalyst.
Greg Gutfeld
It does, Jessica.
Lisa Schneider
Screen time for kids. Like, I had all those, like, grand plans. Like, I will just read to my children and they'll want to do puzzles on airplanes. And now I'm like, here's your iPad.
Ryan Reynolds
Do you let them look at an iPad in a restaurant?
Lisa Schneider
No, we really try. Brian is worse about that than me. By the end of the meal. Yeah, but then you can't go to.
Jillian Turner
A restaurant if you don't give them an.
Lisa Schneider
That's basically what happens. Or we're just, like, we're leaving. Or one of us stays behind and just enjoys being by themselves.
Greg Gutfeld
Kennedy, I can see you deep in thought.
Harris Faulkner
Well, I had two things. I was going to say Katy Perry, because I was like, I was so just over her after the Blue Origin thing, but now seeing her ex, Orlando bloom.
Greg Gutfeld
But now they're back together. What? Yes. They're back together. Yes. It was all a big thing. What was your other thing?
Harris Faulkner
I was like Jessica with swearing. Like, I was really intent on not swearing in front of my children. And when they became teenagers and I could actually swear in front of them, it was one of the most joyful moments of my parenting career.
Ryan Reynolds
Completely moderating.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm trying to think. I'm off two things. I got two things that have changed my mind on jazz and pornography. I started to like jazz. Now, I never thought that would happen. And pornography is a bad thing.
Jillian Turner
It's because you're of a certain age.
Harris Faulkner
I thought you were combining them.
Greg Gutfeld
No, jazz is, like, actually good.
Jillian Turner
Man of a certain age. Enjoy jazz.
Greg Gutfeld
One more thing is up next.
Lisa Schneider
And don't like porn anymore.
Harris Faulkner
An illegal alien from Guatemala.

We don't want to take the best cupcake. Which one do you want?
Jillian Turner
The best one. Thank you.
Greg Gutfeld

Lisa Schneider
How do you start hosting the show.
Jillian Turner

Greg Gutfeld
I know. Is that a.
Jillian Turner
It's amazing.
Lisa Schneider
Oh, no clue.
Greg Gutfeld
That's not true. Do we have a picture of the first day? Look at that, huh? Look at that good looking guy.
Harris Faulkner
Oh, that's so cute.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah. Who's it? Zach. Yeah. Look at her. Hello, Greg. She was very shy back then, I would say.
Ryan Reynolds
Is it true that they sat the two of you next to each other because neither one of you was taller than the other?
Greg Gutfeld
Yes. And it was a lighting issue. And then we became best friends. Yes. Let's talk about the other people that were on that show the first day.
Jillian Turner
Who else?
Greg Gutfeld
Just kidding.
Jillian Turner
Who else was it?
Harris Faulkner
Oh, no, forget it.
Jillian Turner
Fine. You don't have to do that with one more thing. All right. Look at this. 12,000 people in Thailand flocked to a zoo there to celebrate Mu Dang. Remember Mu Dang.
Harris Faulkner
She's so adorable.
Jillian Turner
She is a year old. Look at her eating her birthday cake made of fruits and vegetables. She's bigger now. She's still just as cute though. She's still just as shiny.
Harris Faulkner
I love her.
Jillian Turner
Happy birthday. Mu Ding. Jessica, you have five seconds. You're next.
Greg Gutfeld
No, I don't.
Lisa Schneider
Charlie, go ahead because you're promoing.
Ryan Reynolds
Okay, so we have here a kid decides to play the claw machine and goes in here and climbs into the claw machine. They had to take the back off. Also, I will be hosting Jesse Waters Prime Time.

Podcast Summary: The Five - Episode 200: Illegal Aliens Arrested At 2 CA Pot Farms
Release Date: July 11, 2025
Introduction to the Incident [01:04 - 07:22]
Jillian Turner opens the discussion by detailing a significant incident in California involving law enforcement actions against two marijuana farms. A total of 200 illegal immigrants were arrested during these raids. The operation outside Los Angeles was met with substantial resistance, including over 500 protesters aiming to disrupt the activities. Tensions escalated when a man was reportedly seen attempting to fire a gun at federal agents executing the warrants.
Jillian Turner [01:15]: "Two marijuana farms out west in California. 200 illegal immigrants were arrested. More than 500 protesters showed up on scene there to try and antagonize that operation."
The farms are now under investigation for child labor violations, with images released showing ten migrant juveniles, eight of whom were unaccompanied. This revelation has intensified scrutiny on the operations within these facilities.
Debate on Immigration Policies [02:12 - 07:22]
Charlie Hurt critiques the rising rhetoric against ICE, comparing it to extremist language. He emphasizes the need to curb such divisive language to prevent further violence and policy derailment.
Charlie Hurt [02:20]: "The rhetoric has to end. ICE agents are simply enforcing the law that members of Congress enacted."
Jillian Turner highlights Governor Gavin Newsom’s response, expressing outrage over children affected by the raids and criticizing both President Trump and local authorities for their stances.
Greg Gutfeld dismisses the concerns raised by suggesting resilience in the face of legal actions.
Greg Gutfeld [03:04]: "I don't care. Throw me in jail. Do what you have to do. I'm going to continue to stand up."
Lisa Schneider provides insights into the upcoming 2024 election, emphasizing the shifting public opinion on immigration. She cites a Gallup poll indicating a decline in support for reducing immigration and an increase in the perception that immigration benefits the country.
Lisa Schneider [05:30]: "Only 30% want immigration decrease. That's down by 50%, down from 55% just last year. Record high, 79% think immigration is good for the country."
Legalization of Marijuana and Associated Issues [07:22 - 12:38]
Jillian Turner connects the legalization of marijuana to recent criminal activities, citing lawsuits against pot farms for wage violations and child labor involvement. An incident involving an illegal immigrant attempting to shoot an ICE officer further complicates the narrative around legalization.
Jillian Turner [07:30]: "You're seeing a marijuana plant that is now facing multiple lawsuits for not paying wages to its illegal workers."
Greg Gutfeld lambasts Democrats, accusing them of siding against law enforcement and undermining legal structures. He criticizes media portrayals and government policies that, in his view, favor lawbreaking over law enforcement.
Greg Gutfeld [08:00]: "The modern Democrat, the modern progressive picks the wrong side in every contest."
Los Angeles Mayor's Policies on Illegal Immigration [10:31 - 12:38]
Jillian Turner introduces Kennedy, who discusses Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s proposal to reinstate the Angeleno Card. This initiative aims to provide cash assistance to illegal immigrants, funded by reallocating government resources.
Greg Gutfeld [10:44]: "We're going to have a reinstitution of the Angeleno card... provide cash assistance to people because, you know, you have people who don't want to leave their homes."
Harris Faulkner critiques the sanctuary city approach, linking it to economic deficits and exploitation of low-wage workers. She argues that policies favoring illegal immigrants burden taxpayers and exacerbate labor market issues.
Harris Faulkner [11:16]: "Los Angeles and California both have massive budget deficits. ... Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass aren't crying about that."
One-Year Anniversary: Trump’s Near-Assassination [23:04 - 32:57]
Ryan Reynolds commemorates the one-year anniversary of the day President Trump was nearly assassinated in Butler, Pennsylvania. He recounts the events where Trump was grazed by an assassin's bullet, leading to heightened security concerns and subsequent investigations into the Secret Service’s response.
Ryan Reynolds [24:18]: "It was really bad, but he really did offend it. His name is David and he did a fantastic job."
Greg Gutfeld critiques the minimal repercussions faced by the Secret Service, highlighting a lack of substantial accountability within the agency.
Greg Gutfeld [25:54]: "How long did that actually last?... It is a mindset that was instilled before Democrats had a chance for thoughtfulness."
Jillian Turner expresses frustration over the lack of transparency surrounding the incident, noting the suspension of only six agents and the continued mystery about the shooter’s identity.
Jillian Turner [27:34]: "Another thing I hate to hear people say... A man died. I mean, and the President was shot nearly in the head and thankfully he's okay. But a man actually died."
Light-Hearted Segments and Wrap-Up [33:02 - End]
The hosts shift to lighter topics, celebrating the show's 14th birthday, reminiscing about early days, and engaging in playful banter about house parties and generational differences.
Jillian Turner [34:00]: "I think because they've never experienced like the amazingness that was like a house party in the 90s."
Greg Gutfeld humorously laments the decline of traditional house parties, associating it with the rise in homelessness.
Greg Gutfeld [36:03]: "Nobody has houses anymore, Jillian. They all live in tents. What are you gonna have a tent party?"
The episode concludes with acknowledgments of community contributions, such as the $5 million raised for Central Texas flood relief, and previews of upcoming segments and special guests.
