Everybody.
I'm Jesse Waters along with Emily Campagno, Jessica Tarlov, Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City and this is the five. Democrats couldn't stop fanning the flames against ICE and this maniac just poured on more gasoline. The you're looking at the shocking moment. An anti ICE extremist started a fire outside a federal building in New York City yesterday, injuring four people and in a twist of irony, hurting an illegal immigrant. Police identifying the suspect as 43 year old Andrew Arabaka, an American and former US army soldier. He was arrested with a small arsenal on him including a pellet gun, two axes, a hammer, machete and multiple knives. The attack's just the latest in a string of left wing incidents that has even a CNN host who's a former FBI agent admitting Democrats have a serious political violence problem.
Former FBI Agent
I have not seen this much political violence in dozens of years. I think you go back to the 80s since you've had this kind of thing and back then it was the right wing, you know, the white supremacists, things like that, the posse Comitatus, things like that. And now we've got the left wing, the anarchists and the anti government people. So it is probably the highest I've ever seen it.
Jesse Waters
And it's not hard to guess how this maniac became so radical. Democrats have spent months demonizing ICE agents and calling them Nazis.
Dana Perino
Though we can't allow ourselves to devolve into a society where we condone having a secret police. These officers that are often very rogue individuals with opinions already very extreme opinions about immigrants.
Jesse Waters
ICE has nothing to do with immigration. ICE has nothing to do with the southern border. ICE is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets.
Dana Perino
These thugs want an excuse to shoot someone. Like they're patrolling the Warsaw ghetto in 1941. That's
Jesse Waters
remember there was another like almost detonation a couple of months ago here in New York City. It was that Muslim situation and now This, I mean, this is crazy.
Greg Gutfeld
So it is. And thankfully there weren't more people injured, but I don't know exactly what the motivation is. It'll be interesting to see if it comes out. I don't even think he's been charged yet, but there's multiple things that he could be charged with. When you listed all of the things that he had on him, he had intent to harm. You don't walk around with a machete around New York City for no reason. I am interested about the connection on the rhetoric. If you think about last week, Secretary Rubio gave a big speech with 60 other countries there talking about the problems of left wing radical terrorism. And those countries were there for a reason. They weren't there just because they got invited. They know that they have a problem as well. And he said we have to do something to try to fight back against it. When you think about what they're saying about ice, what they're saying about Trump, is it the permission structure that says, well, it's okay, then maybe you ought to do something about it? If they think it's just rhetoric, then one, you could change your rhetoric. But two, if you don't connect these dots like that former FBI agent is doing, it could lead to something much more serious than this.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, this is the second attack. I think there was one in Texas, Greg, where the guy tried to shoot ICE agents, ended up shooting an illegal immigrant.
Dana Perino
Well, clearly, Jesse, there are two sides. Both sides are guilty of this. Did you see? I was a couple of days ago, a maniac in New York City attacked a baby in a stroller, hit the baby in the head with a phone. Turns out the guy had 20 plus felony arrests, all kinds of violence. He was on the street. But if you asked any of these Democrats about that, they'd go, well, both. What did the baby do? Was the baby Jewish? We don't know. Did the baby deserve it? I have no idea. That's how they look at these things. Rather than the data, they kind of like immediately go to the default both sides story. Exactly what you said. What do you expect to happen? When you remove debate, you're left only with violence. You have outspoken leaders, progressive leaders, saying it's immoral to engage in debate with evil people. And evil people are always on the other side. So instead they will focus on personalized attacks. We're seeing kind of like a broad based MK Ultra. Any type of man, female, teenager, who's a little bit unhinged will buy into the personalized attacks and do this. People said you know, if you argued with Charlie Kirk, you're only helping him, so it's better not to. So instead of debate, you end up with death. He's off the chessboard. That's how. That's what happens in a culture that's saturated with personalized attacks instead of ideas. And it's not just ice. It's. Well, obviously it's the border. It's crime, and it's trans. That's where you're seeing a lot of the violence. And we're not trying. It's not us who's trying to shut down speech. We're not the ones saying we. We don't want to talk to you. You know, we don't shut down protests when we're on protests. We'll talk to people when we're on campus. During COVID We weren't trying to shut down speech. We don't try to get speakers thrown off colleges. We would say, let's talk, but they say, we don't talk to monsters. They will say Israel is genocidal. They will say Trump is racist. They'll say, I'm a transphobe. And all of this is so they don't have to discuss it. You leapfrog over that and you end up at one spot, and that is violence.
Jesse Waters
I want to hear more about this baby.
Dana Perino
It's in the news.
Jesse Waters
Okay.
Dana Perino
Do I have to do the news for you?
Jesse Waters
Sometimes you do. Jessica, would you care to respond to any specific things that Greg said during that last monologue?
Jessica Tarlov
We'll go with the general vibe, which is left wing violence is on the upswing. It's indisputable. It's in the numbers. I'm big on the data. It shows that over the last couple of years, there has been a spike in it. If you look at the overall numbers, whether you go to the Government Accountability Office, cato, the center for Strategic and International Studies, some academics out of the. Out of the University of Dayton. It still shows that right wing violence is more than left wing violence, but it's a problem. Well, I'm sorry that you have to.
Dana Perino
Reality of the story down that stuff. We'd find it to be bogus.
Jessica Tarlov
I'm sure that you would, because all
Dana Perino
you have to do is mention the crimes. No, if we actually did that, we would have to go into the next hour.
Jessica Tarlov
Well, I'll be back tomorrow. And the day after and the day after.
Dana Perino
But then you never bring them.
Jessica Tarlov
Tom Holman. Tom Holman did the Sunday shows, and he was out speaking in front of the White House. And he made this comment where he said, I'm afraid we're going to bury an ICE agent. And I understand that fear. And he's in charge of that law enforcement agency. And that completely makes sense to me that he is concerned about that. What is missing from Holman's comments and the discourse on this is that the American people are sitting there and saying, well, you buried Alex Pareti and you buried Renee Good and you've buried all of these people who, yes, civil infraction, crossed the border illegally, one of whom just in Maine from last week actually had work authorization, and you buried them because of what happened between them in an altercation with an ICE agent. So having this as a one sided conversation where Homan shows no concern for the people like Alex Predator, Renee Good who died, doesn't sound like he sounded when he got to Minneapolis when he came in and he said, I'm here to clean up. Essentially things have gone wrong here and now we have reverted. We have reverted back to a world in which it sounds more just like Stephen Miller day in and day out. And the American people are saying that's not how this works. You have to be concerned about the fact that maybe an ICE agent could die. And we talked about that in Texas when the ICE detention facility came under attack by left wing protesters. But showing no concern for people who are here illegally and even American citizens who have died at the hands of ICE completely misses the point. And it's the reason that this administration is getting such low marks when it comes to immigration. Trump's down minus 19 and this was his best issue in 20.
Dana Perino
Those weren't attacks on illegals or American citizens. These are attacks on Greg. Yes, they aren't. When you're dealing with aggressive protesters, you do the job the best you can. That is not an attack you can't compare.
Jessica Tarlov
You are very hard pressed and maybe you have a different set of folks that you're talking to. For people who have seen the videos now of what happened with Alex Preddy and Renee Goode and would say that they deserved to die, I don't understand
Dana Perino
how you can compare the two. Because they're there doing their job. These people interfere. They have to do their job. They weren't there being aggressive and pressing on the gas that wouldn't have happen.
Jessica Tarlov
Their job actually is to de escalate first of all and also to have a full investigation when we know that
Jesse Waters
the feds were confirmation you guys had a shot at securing the border and you blew it.
Jessica Tarlov
So now we die.
Jesse Waters
No, now you just. That's literally what you're saying you guys couldn't do.
Dana Perino
Yeah. Tell us what you would have done.
Jesse Waters
It doesn't even matter anymore. We got to get.
Dana Perino
Tell us what you should have done that you didn't do that Trump is now doing because you didn't do it.
Jesse Waters
Yeah. We got to get Emily in the conversation. Go ahead.
Emily Campagno
You know the saying, bad things happen, so worse things don't. I feel like that is being totally obliterated now. What we are seeing is a toe in the water by all of these radicals and extremists who have been given not just approval by the libs and the Democratic leadership, but straight up encouragement to attack ice. So what do I mean by that? What I mean is so someone can light gasoline on fire with fireworks in front of the building here, and that then teaches everyone, well, tomorrow you can do worse. What we are seeing is an escalation of. This is totally different, by the way, than law enforcement's reactions to protesters that are breaking the law. This is an attack on law enforcement because it has been blessed and encouraged by people on the left and social media who refuse to condemn it. So you said what's missing is Tom Homan's compassion for Peretti or Renee Goode. What is missing is a condemnation by the Democrats and the libs and anyone with a mouthpiece that these freaks listen to that says, do not attack ice. Instead they are being called Gestapo. Instead, people are calling Hoban Hitler. The governor of that state totally blessed and encouraged people to attack ICE because he called them Nazis. So this is a direct result. By the way, I talked to a federal agent about this today, said morale is super low. And he said it's these politicians that have encouraged, that have pushed the policies, make the laws that make it harder and less safe. He's saying for us to enforce laws that have been on the books for years. And he says, and it's the same people that are pushing that rhetoric that gets all of those radicals worked up and convinced that targeting us is okay. So none of them have a microphone. None of them get to be online smashing everyone. And keep in mind, a lot of people that we have put behind bars for a really long time, tested stuff operationally or diversity and that diversionarily. And that's what I see happening here. So to me, that's the tip of the iceberg. That guy with gasoline that NBC called simply fireworks. By the way, if you want to learn more about the baby, watch out number. Okay, I will definitely do that.
Jesse Waters
Ahead, how Kamala got her groove back by ditching the consultants for the commies.

Kamala Harris is rebooting herself again for what feels like the 500th time. New York Mag is out with this piece. Quote like it or not, Kamala Harris is the frontrunner. And shocker, guys, the former veep is still blaming everyone but herself for her 2024 loss while trying to hitch a ride on the commie bandwagon. One Harris supporter who spoke to her recently says this quote, quote, she is looking for where the wave is going and is determined to ride it. Her mindset is that I should have won and I'm going to do it my way because my way would have won. And it was all these consultants that were telling me to take this position or that position and it was their fault. Mamela is also trying to connect with young voters by posting this.
Greg Gutfeld
An HBCU education, My cast iron skillet supporting and donating to a local race campaign Good spices Shopping at a local small business even if it costs a dollar more.
Emily Campagno
Jessica,
Jessica Tarlov
is there anything more or just
Emily Campagno
she clearly is actually the front runner in all of the now presidential polls for the left. But is it because people can find no one better that there isn't a clear leader and that simply it's based on name recognition for clearly the former Vice. Yeah, that.
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah, we haven't started yet. So once, you know, everyone who's running, then it's going to get closer. Obviously she has a tremendous amount of name id. She is still very popular with black voters who are the core base of the Democratic Party. And I mean I understand that running these segments is fun for those who want to dunk on her. But you know, she's out there, she's talking to different groups, trying to figure out what her lane is in this, in talking to the DSA folks, just a jibe with the big tent that we are working with at this point. But I do think, you know, when she makes that video and it is a trend to talk about the things that are actually worth your money, voters right now are saying life is too expensive for me. And you know, they're not saying I'm going to go out and get Your skillet necessarily, or your hbcu. But there will be a big opportunity. Opportunities to draw a contrast between a Republican Party that doesn't care about costs and a Democratic Party who hopefully has some fantastic policies to lower the cost of living and then we can win an election.
Emily Campagno
So, Greg, Jessica said black people are the core of the Democrat party, but Kamala is being swept up far to the left. She's embracing communism now because she's just chasing popularity and black people are not voting for that.
Dana Perino
Yeah, no, that's good. It's not going to help her. In chaotic times when a subversive force enters the area, you have to. You have two types of people. You got the fighters and you got the folders. She's a folder. She thinks that somehow through appeasement, she could preserve her status and power. That is never the case with communism or socialists because every relationship is a power. It's transactional. Once they use you, they get rid of you. There's going to be no role for her to play in this revolution. They don't even have a set plan after this. It's burned down. You know what this reminds me of when you're sucking up the socialists. Is that another news story to read about that left wing New York mom who flew to Ireland to be with her asylum seeking migrant that she met at a protest and then when he got tired of her, he killed her and fled to Turkey. That's radicalism. They use you, they abuse you, they. And then they throw you aside. They don't need her.
Emily Campagno
Does she need them?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, there's a case to be made that her consultants were absolutely terrible. They spent $1.2 billion. And the thing is that they were saying they didn't have enough time. No, the time was the problem. The more the voters got to know her, the worse it got for her. It would have been better for her for the election had been the day after. Watch what President Obama does. Biden already didn't think she would be good enough. Obama wanted there to be a open primary instead of just having the old switcheroo for her. And Zoran will be a force. And Zoran loves all of these issues, right? That open borders, crazy social policies, bad soft on crime policies from her past like that works really well in a primary for the far left. It's not good for the general electorate. And if she didn't learn that from 2024, they have bigger problems.
Emily Campagno
Also, Jesse, she did not win one swing step in. The voters showed up quite clearly and said, no, thank you so why doesn't she take the bats as he said, you know, no one to fold him.
Jesse Waters
Well, because she's winning. I mean, Gavin peaked and Mayor Pete Blacks hate him. Aoc. It's like she's just stupid and too far left. So this is what you got. And she might be the only one who can unite the commies with the establishment. So she's giving it her best shot. She's kind of curious and trying to tap into that anti Israel energy. But remember, it's not just anti Israel. It's anti America. It's anti cop, it's anti capitalism. Permission to make an analogy?
Dana Perino
Sure.
Jesse Waters
All right, Kamala, if she's serious about this relationship with the communists, if she wants to make it official and go public, she's going to have to defend everything, right? Like, okay, let's say you guys both hate Israel, right? You guys, you go to concerts together. You have a great time at the concert. But that's not all the relationship is all about. Maybe the next night you go out to a nice, sophisticated dinner with some of her work colleagues. And what does the communist do? He shows up looking like crap. And then the bill comes, and you know what he does? He grabs you by the arm and he dines in ditch and the cops come. Spits in the face of the cop, calls him a pig. She's going to have to defend that. She's going to have to defend the entire communist wing. Not just the anti Israel stuff, the whole thing. And now she's blaming her consultants. I believe it was a woman on the View who asked her what she'd do differently. They asked Kamala. They didn't ask a consultant, and she couldn't answer the question. She has no vision. Trump invented MAGA. Trump invented America first go back to his 80s interviews. He's been saying that for decades. She has nothing. The only new idea she had last election was no tax on tips and she stole it from Donald Trump. And now she's saying she's going to ride this new wave going and determine what poly, what leader says they're going to ride a wave. That's like saying you're a politician. You're just going to do what the base wants. You're cooked. You are cooked. And I'm pointing at you.
Jessica Tarlov
I know what you're doing. I'm fine.
Emily Campagno
Very well done. All right, guys. Up next, the Big Apple's socialist superhero has a new mission. Arrest Bibi Netanyahu.
Dana Perino
New York socialist weenie is trying to fulfill every adjunct professor's fantasy. Mayor Madani says he's exploring whether New York City has legal authority to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he intends the UN General assembly this September, calling him a war criminal who belongs in the Hague. Roll it.
Jesse Waters
Seymour is the architect of the genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. As Israel's prime minister, these are not facts of my personal assessment. They are facts of public record. And I believe that when we. When someone is charged with an International Criminal Court warrant, it's something that should be taken seriously, whether it's Benjamin Netanyahu or it's Vladimir Putin or whomever else. What I've also made clear is that my administration will follow all applicable local laws.
Dana Perino
So this is something, Dana, that I don't think the Democrats do enough of, which is repudiating this myth about genocide which is being has been repeated over and over and over again and nobody like, they're too scared. It's a myth.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes, but they, but they see it as fact and they're acting upon it. And then of course, he says, and it's reputable sources.
Dana Perino
Yes, please tell us who.
Jesse Waters
Please.
Greg Gutfeld
The other thing is, it's once again showing how a politician like Mayor Z will make a promise to his voters that he can't keep that he knows. I would imagine he knows that the courts are going to reject it. He's not allowed to arrest Bibi Netanyahu. And then what he'll do, instead of saying he was wrong about that, he'll blame the courts.
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
And then in the next press conference, he'll decry the loss of trust in our institutions. It's like a pattern. And then they do it over and over again. It happens on the right as well. The other thing is that one of his staffers just tried to reach out to the Iranians to have a meeting. Huge red flag. Not allowed. You cannot do that. The local governments do not deal with that. The federal government does. And they were.
Dana Perino
She was given the brush back treasonous death penalty. Jessica. Wow. I get it. You don't like Netanyahu either. We've talked about this. But how does this help the citizens of New York? This is clearly a way for Mamdani to get on the global stage. And he's exploiting this, like, anti Israel rhetoric. He's not helping anybody.
Jessica Tarlov
Well, it's just. It is a fantasy land. One even more so than some of the policies, because he actually did manage to freeze the rent. He stacked the rent board and the one who didn't want it ended up quitting. But that was Achievable now.
Greg Gutfeld
Rents are up everywhere across the city. Great outcome. Congratulations, Mr. Mayor.
Jessica Tarlov
But there have been many, many world leaders who the ICC has ruled a war criminal who have come to New York for unga. And they go and they speak and they go out to dinner and they do everything that they were going to do beforehand. And it's fine. Mamdani did a long interview with Lulu Garcia Navarro from the New York Times
Greg Gutfeld
and it was very hard hitting. I could not believe it. Wow. Well, the follow ups, I just. How could he, how could he manage it?
Dana Perino
I think he's being sarcastic, Jessica.
Jessica Tarlov
I know. I was going to make a joke about his Voldemort voice, which was because he had a bad cough. But he also said when it comes to arresting Bibi or exploring all these avenues, that he will be respectful as well of the un. And the UN has made their policy clear, which is whoever we invite to come here, it's like they have a golden halo around them for the time that they are visiting for unga. So nothing's going to happen.
Dana Perino
Yeah. You know, and again, this is. We've been talking about this, Emily. You focus on the person Netanyahu and you don't get questioned about the data that you're offering. They're not. You don't have to engage in the conflict in the Middle east if you deem the person you're engaging with a war criminal.
Emily Campagno
Of course, that's also why it's okay to attack ICE buildings and law enforcement. All the things, guys, we live here. So let's talk about what the mayor and what this policy is doing. And let's point out and really bring to light his rampant hypocrisy that puts at risk all of us. So his quote about the International Criminal Court warrant is that when someone is charged with an ICC warrant, it's something that should be taken seriously. But yet he doesn't take seriously all of the warrants, warrants out for the illegal immigrants that are here in this town walking the streets. So there have been many and not enough time in the show for me to list specifics, murders, rapes, et cetera, of people with warrants out that this city didn't honor because of his directive. So just one. For example, after an illegal immigrant raped a woman in Queens out of La Quinta, then he was let out. He was arrested. There was an ICE warrant because of Mamdani, because of his executive orders, where he laughingly, by the way, says that a non local law enforcement, like he basically is saying that the non local Law enforcement of ICE should be given no credo, but somehow ICC should. That guy was let out and what did he do? Rape at night point another woman in Coney island and then his accomplice beat with a lead pipe. Her boyfriend who tried to intervene. Or what about the 20 year old that there was a warrant out for his arrest and he murdered a 28 year old. Like how many people have to die under this guy's watch that he ignores those warrants and somehow this fictitious ICC warrant, which is something we are not a party to for a fictitious genocide, somehow all of a sudden matters to him. This mayor is a joke, a fraud and an anti Semite.
Dana Perino
You know, Jesse, it feels like his core constituents are campus lifers and Rikers inmates.
Jesse Waters
It's true. Columbia loves it, right? Yeah, the guys at Rikers. I'd like to see him try just to watch.
Dana Perino
Same here.
Jesse Waters
Just to see the NYPD square off against the Israelis. I mean, that would be bad. I don't know.
Dana Perino
That would go down.
Jesse Waters
No, they would.
Dana Perino
Like you're on your own, mayor.
Jesse Waters
Exactly, Exactly. Isn't it funny how this guy and all the commies, they want to arrest Trump and Netanyahu and the landlords, but you whack a woman in the head with a bat in the subway and they're like, let him out. Let him out. He's black or he's insane. You know, who cares? They like political prisoners, right? The actual prisoners.
Greg Gutfeld
They love.
Jesse Waters
They love. You know what a real crime against humanity is? 78 degrees during a heat wave. That is criminal. We should lock him up.
Jessica Tarlov
We've talked about this. It's nationwide advice during a heat wave to keep your thermostat at 78. From Texas to New York.
Jesse Waters
I haven't heard that before and I don't like it. I want to stay cool in school.
Greg Gutfeld
The American just do the American way. Ignore them.
Dana Perino
How did he become mayor? That's what I want to know. Coming up next, your favorite show just turned 15. I gotcha.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, can you believe it? The five has just turned 15. It's old enough to get a learner's permit in some states, but still not old enough to vote yet. Greg and I have been here since day one. And look at those. Oh my gosh, fresh faced kids. Greg, we were pretty, pretty funny. A lot of laughs along the way. Take a look.
Dana Perino
I'm your pocket sized provocateur, your miniscule motor mouth, your hobbit sized host.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, my name's Tiny D and I'm here to say I bust funky fresh rhymes in a major way. So I'm white like Casper got a dog named Jasper.
Jesse Waters
Oh, you didn't do it.
Emily Campagno
Yes.
Jesse Waters
I love you. I love. Oh, my gosh. This is what my mom refused to buy me when I was little.
Dana Perino
Look what I did. Isn't that beautiful? I just whipped this thing together just for you in my own time. Oh, geez. What did I do? Oh, my God. Well, I guess there's no take two.
Emily Campagno
Shut up.
Jesse Waters
Shut up about politics. Ain't nothing but a big pile of dirty tricks.
Greg Gutfeld
After John Rich performed our song shut up about politics on the show yesterday, it reached number one on the iTunes country charts.
Dana Perino
Dana took a picture of this bucket of hideous bubbling doom and tweeted it. Look at that.
Greg Gutfeld
Then it looks.
Jesse Waters
Does it do anything besides just hang there? That's it.
Dana Perino
I mean, you know, it's a lot like you, Jesse.
Greg Gutfeld
Additions to make.
Dana Perino
What the hell? Oh, my God.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, at least we now have something for the best stuff. Also, as a conservative, women you just are like, you know, you're not going to get the glowing profile. So you just get your done, right?
Dana Perino
Oh, yes.
Greg Gutfeld
You're Stu. You're getting your stuff done.
Dana Perino
I got a pee. I got a pee.
Greg Gutfeld
You're on the air, Jessica. You try anything new? I mean, you got something new coming.
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah. And now the audience knows, so I'm pregnant.
Jesse Waters
It's good to be back.
Dana Perino
It's good to be back. Madam Taylor, good to have you. Harold, by the way, good to see you.
Fox News Promo Announcer
Good to be back.
Dana Perino
Yeah. Whenever you need a fork, just come over here. Grab a fork. There's forks for everybody. For everybody.
Greg Gutfeld
What a great forking story.
Jessica Tarlov
Jesse is the hardest working man at the table.
Dana Perino
What?
Jessica Tarlov
I was just trying to be nice.
Dana Perino
Hi, I'm Greg Gut. Gutfeld, along with Greg Gutfeld. Greg Gutfeld. Greg Gutfeld. And a thimble is her hot tub. Dana Perino, the five.
Greg Gutfeld
You would not believe. We had the best commercial break ever
Dana Perino
for the concept Harold of meritocracy. In your face, Harold.
Jesse Waters
Can you sign that for him? I want to take that to my office. Preparing for this roast was a lot like the way Greg prepares for his shows. Someone else writes the material and then I stole it. Funny how time flies when you're having fun, love. But it's over now.
Jessica Tarlov
I got you a present too, Jesse.
Jesse Waters
No way. Is it a white dudes for Kamala? What?
Jessica Tarlov
Put it on. It's not signed, though. I didn't know we were getting. You guys should have called Obama 2028. Which is, I think, a lot. Take the picture.
Dana Perino
Wow.
Jessica Tarlov
Again, it's like two Trump hats.
Jesse Waters
There you go. Four more years. I love
Greg Gutfeld
has been amazing. That could have been gone on forever. But while we have. We had some fun, we asked you to send in your comments, especially the original fans. So we have some to read to you. Emily, you want to go first?
Dana Perino
Yes.
Emily Campagno
All right. So I have two here. One the Odalis say, my husband and I always have Happy hour at 5. Watching the 5 from the very beginning, 15 years ago. Congratulations and cheers to many more from the family that are in Chibiyas. And then Jeffrey Hill. Should I read the second one or.
Greg Gutfeld
I think we'll just do one, and then we'll see if we can have another one. But we did hear that early on that happy hour got moved from six to five so that they could drink while they were here with us.
Emily Campagno
Yeah.
Dana Perino
And it's so funny because at the beginning, we had a lot of older fans, and we've been around so long, we now have their kids who are also older fans. It's like we kind of, like they just kind of grow into this.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm very.
Dana Perino
I'm very wistful. Are you wistful?
Greg Gutfeld
A little bit.
Dana Perino
I mean, think about, like, 15 years. That's a long time.
Greg Gutfeld
And we thought we would get fired how many times?
Dana Perino
Oh, every single day. But, I mean, if we do this, another 15, I'll be 75, 76. And just to be serious, the most important thing is the connection with the viewers. Like, when you walk around, people don't come up to you because they think you're famous. They come up to you because they
Jesse Waters
know you and they put their hands on you.
Dana Perino
They know you, they kiss you, they talk to you. In the middle of a conversation with you, they're like, oh, Jesse, blah, blah. But it's not like, oh, they're very familiar with you. Yes, but that says something, because they appreciate us. It's a different thing than being famous.
Greg Gutfeld
I met this young woman during the Purple State thing where she said, when I was a little kid and I heard the Five music come on, I knew my parents were almost home. Now when I hear it, I know I have three more hours of work. She works on Capitol Hill. I have one here. Chess Thompson said, Congrats on the 15th year. I started watching in 2013 when I started law school, and the days I was home at 4 meant I would be having my snack and watch the 5 as my break. It kept me based in law school and helped me Think my own arguments to defend my beliefs. And that's been fun too, to hear from people. Jesse, that say you gave me confidence to argue with my neighbors.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, but another lawyer, Dana, do we really need another lawyer?
Greg Gutfeld
You might.
Jesse Waters
I might by the end of the show. No. You know, Greg talks about the chemistry between us and the fans, but there is chemistry at this table. We love you, Greg. We love you, Dana, Emily, Jessica, I feel the exact same way about both of you. And it is really fun to come to work and it's an honor and we're very grateful we have such, such an easy job because it is easy. A lot of people work with their hands all day. A lot of people lift things and get yelled at. The only people who yell at us is her. That's it. We can say whatever we want and it's a great time.
Greg Gutfeld
Jessica, what comment do you have?
Jessica Tarlov
Well, I have one about my favorite moment from the show, which was in the montage when you said let it slip that I was pregnant. And anytime I see that clip, it's just so obvious that I'm almost seven months pregnant. I'm enormous. Jesse did say your hair is insane. It was not a great hair favorite. Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
In my defense, she was seven months pregnant.
Jessica Tarlov
Yes. I thought everybody knew, but it is my most favorite dysfunctional family. And being part of this show is such a joy, especially when you're out and meeting people who feel connected to it. And Greg's totally right. Like, people will come up to me and just start talking about Cleo and Teddi because they know, you know, what's going on in my kids lives and I. That doesn't help happen elsewhere.
Dana Perino
No, it is the best experience. If you're gonna choose an experience in entertainment to have a lot of people who don't know who the hell you are, but the people who know you appreciate you as opposed to just being blanket famous. Like you're in a band and they might not even listen to their music, but they want a picture. Our fans can spot us a mile away. They come over, they talk to us. It's like it's one on one. It's a very different experience.
Jesse Waters
And they know everything about us.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes.
Jesse Waters
The good, the bad, and the ugly
Jessica Tarlov
and the made up.
Emily Campagno
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
This one's great.
Emily Campagno
Okay, so this is Jeffrey Hill. He says my dad passed away in 2015, but one of my favorite memories was stopping by his house on the way home from work every day and watching the Five with him. He was a World War II veteran who served in the army under Patton. His perspective about what was going on in the country was absolutely influenced by his experience in the military. And he quickly caught on to the difference between how the five presented the news versus legacy media. I think you guys are thought leaders. You help drive, you help influence how people think in the way of inspiring them to think for themselves.
Greg Gutfeld
I would say we. Let's put a little we in there. Emily, you've been amazing.
Dana Perino
No, I think it's me.
Greg Gutfeld
It's mostly you. Okay, thanks, everybody. And if we are still here 15
Dana Perino
years from now, you'll be 50.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Jessica Tarlov
And we'll wheel you in.
Jesse Waters
You can see the video. Dana has not aged.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes, Greg.
Jesse Waters
Have you gone to the doctor?
Dana Perino
I am a silver fox.
Jesse Waters
You really are. Oh, look at that.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm kind of to get my hair cut after I saw that. Just kidding. All right, coming up next, when the checkout line becomes the check you out line.
Jesse Waters
Whoa, I just wanna stop I never wanna live without you, baby I just wanna stop.
Dana Perino
When does Paul get up,
Jessica Tarlov
Bag some groceries and a boyfriend. A grocery store in Finland is offering shoppers pink baskets for those who are single and looking to mingle in the aisles. Emily.
Emily Campagno
Okay, so I weirdly did a lot of research into this. And apparently in Scandinavia they do color coded stuff like in Norway. But beanies. If you're red, it means you're single. And if it's green, it means you're not as you're hiking. And it reminded me of, remember Safeway in the marina, how it was called Gateway. Like everyone, this is just date way. And then here's the final point. That apparently in Finland it's rude for men to approach women. So the thought with this was, well, maybe the men still won't go over. But I think the pink thing tells them it's like a green light. Like, go ahead and approach me. I'm single.
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah, Dana, we were saying, I think it's great.
Greg Gutfeld
I think it's great. I think it's fine. I think it's fine. I think it's interesting if the guys have to wear the pink basket as well. That seems kind of strange. But I'm not Norwegian. Or I guess they are finished.
Jessica Tarlov
Jesse, it's not masculine to carry a pink shopping basket. Is that where you're going?
Jesse Waters
Well, men really should not be grocery shopping in the first place. But if a man is single, you have to assume all women are single. No, wait, that's the mentality. Okay? When you're out in public and you're grocery shopping and you see her looking at the fruit and you're feeling it, you go over and you say, oh, this one looks ripe. You can't even think about whether she's in a relationship. You just have to always be closing.
Jessica Tarlov
Totally ignore everything Jesse just said, Greg.
Dana Perino
This is nothing new. Larry Kudlow and I did the same thing with bandanas in the Castro.
Jessica Tarlov
Okay, One More Thing is up next.
Jesse Waters
It's time now for One More Thing. Greg.
Dana Perino
Tonight we got a great show cat. Tim Kennedy, Ridge Voss Tires. That's tonight. Let's do this. Greg's absolutely disgusting news. If you have children in the room, get them really close to the tv. It's good for their eyes. Take a look at this fella. This is Rico. Rico is a popcorn eating porcupine. Try to say that fast, Jesse. Well don't. You can barely say your own name. Porcupines have salt cravings and they happily chew on human sweat soaked axe handles, canoe oars and road signs. And their teeth never stop growing. So that makes them terrible in bed. So chewing Tupperwood keeps their teeth short.
Emily Campagno
Look at his little hand.
Dana Perino
Like when he isn't that great.
Greg Gutfeld
All right. A group of dogs at a pet care facility know exactly how to get the service that they want and demand they line up at the bar, they put their paws on the counter and then they took turns barking their orders so that they can get the exact amount of whipped cream right there. They're cute. I thought that's fun. That's fun. After the porcupine.
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Jesse Waters
Popcorn eating porcupine. Popcorn eating porcupine. Popcorn eating porcupine. Popcorn eating porcupine.
Dana Perino
Popcorn eating porcupine.
Jesse Waters
Popcorn eating porcupine. In your face. Let's go around the world everybody. Where are we going, Jessica? Burma, Greenland, South Korea. Wrong. Romania. We're going to do a little historical reenactment festival. This is from ancient times. Warrior reenactments showcasing Roman era gladiator combat archery, traditional dances celebrating the civilizations rich heritage. Wow. We've been betting on this all afternoon. In the pod we won. It was the goths. They're very fierce. Tonight, Jesse Waters primetime the Odyssey factor.
Dana Perino
You have Matt Dylan on Damien.
Jesse Waters
No, Emily. I don't have Matt Dillon on Emily. Show your Emily. You have anything? Eight seconds.
Dana Perino
Yes.
Emily Campagno
Happy 80th birthday, Dad.
Jessica Tarlov
I love you.
Jesse Waters
Happy birthday.
