Jesse Watters
Hello, everyone.
Emily Compagno
I'm Emily Compagno along with Kayleigh McEnany, Jessica Tarloff, Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City and this is the five. Brace yourself for the motherload of ridiculous woke takes. AOC recently went on an hour long podcast to offer up every half baked liberal talking point under the sun, including this classic. Billionaires didn't earn their money much.
Kayleigh McEnany
You can't earn $1 billion.
Greg Gutfeld
That's right.
Kayleigh McEnany
You just can't earn that.
Greg Gutfeld
That's exactly correct.
Kayleigh McEnany
You can. You can get market power, you can break rules, you can do all sorts of things, you can abuse labor laws, you can pay people less than what they're worth, but you can't earn that. Right. And so you have to create a
Greg Gutfeld
myth
Kayleigh McEnany
that since you didn't earn that, you have to create a myth of earning it.
Emily Compagno
AOC went on to talk about all the hate she gets online from the right, but she claims they are just misguided by those evil red states.
Kayleigh McEnany
They live in a lot of these red states. They're not red, they're oppressed.
Jessica Tarloff
Yep, yep, yep.
Kayleigh McEnany
I've driven across the country many times and I'll drive through really rural areas and I see the level of neglect and I'm like, yeah, I'd be pissed off at paying taxes too.
Unknown Female Panelist
Right, Right.
Kayleigh McEnany
I live in New York City. Sure, we have a high tax tax rate or a higher tax rate, but you know, when it snows out, I get to look out my window and I get to see well paid sanitation workers clearing that stuff out. In a minute,
Emily Compagno
Kaylee. I love Elon Musk's response to this where he said confidently wrong is much worse than merely wrong.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes. And she is Emily confidently wrong. That's a great quote. AOC likes to act as if she's a fighter for the working class. She's a fighter for the poor. She's a fighter for your money. So she says, right. Wrong. She is none of those things. When is the last time AOC spoke out against the fraudsters in Minnesota, the fraudsters in California, who are quite literally stealing your money? She wants to go up against billionaires. She wants to fight for the working class. Fine. Why aren't you fighting for them on fraud? I asked our brain room. I said, can you find any instance of her talking about fraud? Here's what they said. We did a factiva search. We put in Ocasio, Cortez, California, Minnesota, Newsom Walls fraud, feeding our futures. Medicaid and Hospice set the Parameters the second Trump administration. You know what the brain room found? Zero instances. Zero instances of that woman standing up for millions. Billions of your money being stolen. 000. They went back further. You know what they did find? They found one instance one of her criticizing Republicans looking into fraud in 2023. So you want to fight against the billionaires. You want to fight against the guys who are paying 650 million in charity. Like Ken Griffin is the guys providing construction jobs tens of thousands to New York City alone. One person. Ken Griffin. You want to fight against all the people on charitable boards. You do that. You're allowed to be ignorant of basic economics. But you are not allowed to say you fight for the working class until you stand up for the working class dollar going to fraudsters.
Emily Compagno
Jessica. I find it humorous that she sort of touted New York City as a place where taxes go fruitfully because I live here too. And every day the things that are well run are the things that I pay for directly not through taxes. And we're seeing that the exodus now of those billionaires and multimillionaires that she espouses to hate are bringing with them a GDP greater than most countries. Meaning when she talks about tax dollars being well spent. Who do you think is paying them? The class that she's railing against that earned it from the companies they founded.
Unknown Female Panelist
So everybody as a New York City resident is paying the taxes that make the city run the rich down to the still rich but way less rich. Because we have that problem going on here too where it's so expensive in the city that you can earn a couple hundred thousand dollars and still not be able to support a family. You know, get kids into school, et cetera. So we certainly pay high taxes. Some things work. Some things don't work. I get it. We need to do better. Especially in the public school system. I have talked about this extensively. But the point that AOC is making here is actually very similar to. Remember when Obama said you didn't build that? Right. And it was this huge. I mean I don't even know how many news cycles we did on that. But his point was that no one builds a billion dollar fortune or one of these huge companies, which I think is a good thing and they employ lots of people and most of them pay taxes. Though the Warren Buffett example I think makes sense here where he says I should pay the same tax rate as my secretary for instance. But that it's a village. It takes a village to do it. We know it takes a village to raise a Family. It takes a village to build a business like that. And when he was talking about it, he cited there was a teacher that helped you along the way, that maybe you run a trucking company and you're using roads that are funded with tax dollars, that there is government research that goes into something that you then turn into your business. And so this idea that you've done it on your own and is just not founded in reality, and dismissing AOC and what she has been talking about, this idea that the system is rigged to benefit the rich and that the working class and up to the middle class cannot get ahead, is one of the most salient political arguments of your Jon Ossoff out on the campaign trail. You even go back to 2016 with Donald Trump where he said, I use the loopholes, of course I do. And I'm going to get in there, I'm going to change it. Which is the exact opposite of what he did. He was tapping into the same emotion, the same feeling that you should have better health care, that you should have affordable housing, that your schools should be good, and that the rich live in another planet. They're the only ones benefiting from the stock market. They're the ones that are getting all of the breaks. And being dismissive of that kind of politics will not benefit the right. The poor on the left and the right feel exactly the same way about the rich. And on fraud, Donald Trump has pardoned people who committed hundreds of millions of dollars in Medicaid fraud. Also in Minnesota, down to Florida, what are they called? Nursing home fraud. And he's like, yeah, you guys should just walk out. So he doesn't care about fraud, prosecuting the fraudsters.
Greg Gutfeld
You guys are giving plea deals to guys.
Unknown Female Panelist
Okay, Philip asked for him. Look them up. Look at all the people that he's pardoned who stole from average Americans. Old ones, too, Jesse.
Emily Compagno
In law, you know the. But for concept, it's causation. So I hear what you're saying. However, but for Elon's genius, but for his leadership, we would have not rescued astronauts, provided Internet to people, had newer,
Unknown Female Panelist
which we paid for.
Emily Compagno
But to ascribe his success, it's related, it's correlated. But to remove it from him seems a little ludicrous because it's once again these socialists just wanting to get a piece of the pie that one person, one genius actually did. And they're arguing essentially if a secretary has a great idea and creates a multimillion dollar company, oh no, when your profits hit a million, all of a sudden you're not to be respected anymore. And we gotta put you back into socialist category.
Jesse Watters
Yeah, they want credit for success. Yeah, Obviously I had help getting all the way to where I am. My mom read to me. Someone cuts my hair. We get it, Jessica. It's obvious we didn't all do this alone. And yes, there are rich people and there are poor people, okay? That's how it's always been. Okay? For the poor people, it seems like they can't get ahead. For the rich, it seems like they write the rules. And to a certain extent, they do. But she's lying when she says these guys made all this money by breaking the law and like, hurting workers. Top four richest men in the world. Men. Jessica Zuckerberg, Bezos, Musk, Larry Ellison. You know, the average Salary at Facebook, 380 grand. At Amazon, 220 grand. SpaceX, $175,000. Oracle, $150,000. I think they're paid pretty well. I would say the people that work for these billionaires are pretty happy. And I think everybody wants to work at one of those companies. Okay? This isn't like a railroad baron. That's like breaking the law and making kids work in a mine. And you know what, if they do break the law, they get sued and they pay up. No big deal. This is a capitalist country. If you can create value, you will be well compensated. But she doesn't understand that because she's a government employee and she is a taker, not a maker. This is a great quote. Emily kind of alluded to it. Blue states have bled 2 trillion in wealth to red states in the last 10 years. She's talking about how great blue states are. Everyone is moving them, their family and their business to red states. New York lost 660 billion in a decade. Florida gained 1.3 billion. You don't even have to argue with it. It's just the facts. Everybody hates living in these states because they're high taxes, high crime, and over regulated. And you don't get good services. Snow removal. Jessica, I remember you telling a story about how your husband had to join a citizen snow brigade because you guys couldn't get plowed.
Unknown Female Panelist
First snowstorm, second snowstorm, you didn't.
Jesse Watters
You know who plows in the red states? Florida, Texas, Arizona and the Carolinas? No one. Because it doesn't snow there. And the red states where it does snow, you know who plows? We do. You put a plow on your pickup truck and you do it yourself or your neighbor does it, or the mom and pop business does it for you. People in glass houses shouldn't be stoned. Have you seen her district? It's a third world country in Queens. It's grimy, it's stanky. I can smell it from Manhattan. 20% of her district lives below the poverty line. There's open air drug deals, there's open air prostitution. She should really not be pointing figures at other red states when her very own district is a mess.
Emily Compagno
Greg, the other joke about this is the average salary of a congressperson compared with the average income. They all make multimillion dollars off the stock market. So why doesn't she start looking at her own colleagues instead of guys that actually build businesses?
Jessica Tarloff
Well, I don't know. I think blaming AOC for all this is unfair. There was another woman there and she's just as stupid. Why are we ignoring her? Oh, absolutely, you're totally correct.
Jesse Watters
Why?
Unknown Female Panelist
Broad City is like my favorite show ever.
Jessica Tarloff
You could not get two brain cells to rub together in that room. But here's the bigger point. What we're seeing right now is the acknowledgment that identity politics failed. So now we're back to class warfare. They have learned that this terrible idea failed, but they don't have a new one. So now they're going back to the old one, which was Marxist class warfare. Welfare. So you go after the wealthy as a deflection of the current problems you cannot fix. We had another assassination attempt fueled by Dems repetitive messaging about that justifies political violence. There's no ideas, there's no policies, there's no leadership. And the reason why they go after somebody like Elon Musk is that he's representative of creation. You create things, they don't create things. They're basically parasites off the people who create things. You know, right now the Democrats are essentially antifa without the worn out athletic gear. You know, the rhetoric is blunt, simplistic, moronic. And she knows that their problems with their party. But you can't blame Republicans because they aren't there. So what do they do? There's no Republicans. Let's just do this. Amorphous rich. They're the rich people. This is the idea that we even justify this argument. I'm surprised, Jessica, that you even still do this because we know we're adults. How people survive here. Rich make more money. They hire people. I said spit out a cookie.
Jesse Watters
They.
Jessica Tarloff
You get rid of rich people, you don't have anybody because they're the ones that hire everybody else. This is like common sense. But aoc, if you want to beat aoc, you just let her talk. She's proud of the things she doesn't know. Everything she doesn't know could fill Obama's Death Star library. She's the freshman from home after the first semester, announcing to her parents that America is the oppressor, the rich or evil. And her pronoun is neither. And she ignores the fact that mom and dad are paying $75,000 a year. Thank you, economy, for that education. Not to mention the laptop she has, the iPhone, the nose job, and the psychoanalysis. Why does AOC exist? Because, rich. See, we're talking. We're talking about New York City. She's in New York City. Why does she exist? Because people in New York City are wealthy enough to endure that. We can carry around that bag of rocks because we make a lot of money. You can complain about how expensive it is to live here, but apparently people are living here, and we tolerate that because we don't want to move. So we allow this bozo to call us names because you know what? I can still afford my $25
Emily Compagno
sushi latte.
Jessica Tarloff
My latte sushi. I'm done.
Emily Compagno
That sounds good. All right, guys. Coming up, it's just a little love tap. President Trump trying to keep his ceasefire with Iran together amid new US strikes on the terror regime. By the time I hit my 50s, I'd learned a few things, like how family is precious, work can always wait, and 99% of people over 50 already have the virus that causes shingles. Not everyone at risk will develop it, but I did. The painful, blistering rash disrupted my life for weeks. Don't learn about your shingles. Risk the hard way. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist today. Sponsored by gsk,
Greg Gutfeld
You're looking at new video of US Forces hitting Iranian tankers trying to break the blockade as fighting flared up yesterday in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran shooting drones and missiles at American ships during that and the US Hitting back by decisively striking Iranian military targets. President Trump telling an ABC reporter the ceasefire is still on because those strikes are just a quote.
Emily Compagno
Love tap.
Greg Gutfeld
Meanwhile, President Trump continues to insist that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, as many presidents before him did. And it looks like the D.C. construction workers who are fixing up the reflection pool agree.
Jesse Watters
These guys are fantastic.
Jessica Tarloff
So they're doing the job. They're working hard. And does anybody think Iran should have a nuclear weapon so they can blow us? It's a very important thing that we're
Greg Gutfeld
doing right, so everyone knows that. Well, that is everyone except the former Vice President, Kamala Harris, when you look
Emily Compagno
at this war in Iran, which the American people do not want, which was not authorized by conference, but even if it was, it should not have been initiated. He talked about obliterating and then he said, oh, he did this all just, You made me do that. I promise I'm not going to curse in public anymore. I'm not going to dismiss him as being an idiot. He's dangerous.
Greg Gutfeld
Jessica. In an October 202460 Minutes interview, Kamala Harris was asked who the greatest adversary to the world was and she said Iran. And now it's just bs.
Unknown Female Panelist
No, the way Donald Trump is going about taking away Iran's nuclear capacity, which we haven't even seen that come to fruition, is what she's saying is bs, not that Iran isn't a real threat. Everyone knows Iran is a real threat. They have been for 47 years. And we know that Netanyahu pitched the same war to Joe Biden and to Barack Obama, and he only got Donald Trump to bite. So, you know, that's what she's saying here. The idea that we're in the midst of a ceasefire because it's just a love tap, isn't backed up by reality. Iran says we're not in a ceasefire. And it does take two to tango with a ceasefire. Right. You need both people to be committed to the fact that you're trying to find a way to peace. And with these talks, and now apparently, we may get a 30 day pause so that we can hopefully get a bigger deal. I hope that that's the case. But what we have seen at each juncture of this, where we hear from our administration, you know, Iran, they're on the back foot. All this economic sanctions are being totally crushed. They're going to fall tomorrow, no, the next day, the next day, the next day. Now, there's this new CIA report that Iran could survive a naval blockade for three to four months. Three to four month timeline on this. They have dug in. Their foreign minister was in China this week showing the support that they're getting and that they're uniformly on the same page with them. We know that China can prop them up. They can certainly give them the money that they need to keep surviving here. And so I don't really know where all of this is going. I want to remain glass half full. I hope that we get a compromise, a sparkly deal. I'm sure you and I have some sparkles on my jacket today. But the imminent collapse of Iran that we were promised has not come to fruition.
Greg Gutfeld
You know, Jesse, when Joe Biden was asked what the message to Iran was, he said, don't. Kamala was asked, she said don't. When Trump was asked the same question, he said, I would bomb the bleep out of them. I think I'd take that approach.
Jesse Watters
Yeah. Jessica says China is going to give them money. How? Jessica? There's a blockade. They can't get anything in or out. It is a fragile seafire, but we're going to defend ourselves. If you have Mosquito fleet coming at destroyers, you're going to light them up with hellfires from the Apaches and you're going to hit them with the 50 cal machine guns. And then they tried to lob some drones and short range missiles at us and we lit up the whole coastline with airstrikes. Goodbye. We've also knocked out some blockade runners because they can't store oil. We hit them up with the F18 Super Hornets and they turned right around. They're running out of storage. And that's why the New York Times is reporting they're leaking oil all over the Strait. It's an environmental catastrophe. Where's Al Gore? Isn't it funny you don't hear any Democrats complaining about Iran. Listen to Jessica. She doesn't say anything about Iran. All it talks about is Donald Trump's the bad guy here. They're slaughtering women. They're polluting the strait. They have blocked the strait. They have blocked the strait which have caused energy prices to rise. And they're like lobbing missiles. It's civilian targets. And they're always like, Donald Trump this, Donald Trump that. Last week it was, you know what this war cost much? They said it was $25 billion. Well, guess what, we just sold $25 billion of weapons to our allies. So now it's a scratch. Right. So it's just not. Read the news, Jessica. 25. Bill.
Unknown Female Panelist
We just doesn't include the repairs that we have to make to all of the equipment that they've destroyed.
Jesse Watters
Okay, so you also said, you also said.
Unknown Female Panelist
Yeah, I don't really.
Jesse Watters
Yeah, you, you also, you also said that we were running out of missiles. So how are we running out of missiles? How are we running out of missiles if we're selling all the missiles to our friends in the Middle East? Then there was this another leak from the CIA, anonymous sources during the Trump administration. Oh, Iran has 75% of their missiles. Still. Really? We're still going to buy anonymous leaks from the CIA deep state to hurt Trump? Oh, they have four to six months left. Really? Then why are they leaking all their oil into the strait? Listen, we're supposed to get some sort of counter proposal tonight. Trump's driving a pretty hard bargain. He's saying give us all the enriched uranium, freeze for decades. You can't do anything underground. Shut down every single nuke site. It's a pretty hard bargain. So it's going to take a little while. I don't know what they're going to come back with. No one knows. But if they don't, we still have bridge and power plant day. You could still take car, you could still lop off a few layers of the leadership. I'm willing to play this out. I think we have the upper hand if you look at the economy.
Greg Gutfeld
Emily, you made the great point today that we follow moment by moment what happens on our TV screen, but we do not know what's happening behind the cameras in the diplomacy.
Emily Compagno
Indeed. And I think, I think the reason that critics are calling this, you know, a violation of the cease fire and whatnot is because they're not used to the fact that he's actually using de escalating rhetoric and it's combined with insurance. Usually he's the one that's sort of escalating in his rhetoric. He is threading the needle of strength and restraint right now. Restraint right now. And we know that he has significant deterrence. That's the US Military and that's been how we've been acting this entire time. But right now he's trying to control the political temperature and that's a good thing. So I'm not quite sure why those on the left are decrying this and sort of looking at his dismissing of it. Not that it's insignificant militarily, but that he's saying, look, guys, I'm trying to signal to Iran that they're acting out and they will absolutely meet the heat if they continue doing this. I'm showing them what's going to happen, but it's a preview. It's not some type of explosion. And I think he wants Iran to know that America can hit back instantly and decisively while also signaling to voters and markets that this isn't an endless war and that we're not going to be there for months. So this is what you do when you correct a puppy. This is what you do when you course correct a ship. And we're seeing it in real time in these up to the moment updates, which I think for some reason seem to be catastrophic to those on the left. Every 30 seconds but to us, it's, as you said earlier, it's how we make the sausage. Yep.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg.
Jessica Tarloff
Well, I gotta be honest, my personal opinion. Feel like this story is getting old, you know, I mean, it reminds me of, you know, this. The rant story reminds me when you have relatives come stay, and first week's great. Second week, I just want to get back to my den. I want the place to myself. You don't want a bored Greg Gutfeld, because then I'm up to no good. The things I do when I have. Oh, my God. It's horrible. But that's my personal opinion. But I trust the guys in charge. If they need a few more weeks to drain Iran's economy, I'm gonna give it to them because they've been pretty good on everything else. They're not lying to me. I mean, it's quite a change from the old administration. I mean, why are we listening to Kamala Harris? Remember, she told us she was the border czar. What did she do? And also, I don't know what the Democrats really want. What do they want? Like, if they could. If they could tell Donald Trump, get out of Iran now. Is that what you want them to do? You don't know what you don't know. You don't know what you want. Trump's just doing what the Dems promised they would do but never would, which was get rid of the Iranian threat. So it's always deeds versus words. The Dems fill the air with these words, but then there's no action. Meanwhile, the border is closed, crime is dropped, Maduro's locked up, drug kingpins and boats are dead. Iran's mulch. What drives Dems crazy is Trump did these things and made it look easy. And that kind of makes them look really, really stupid because they were like, we can't do this. How could he do that? It's just called having balls and knowing how to do things. And when you work in real jobs, you do know how to do things. That's the problem with Democrats, Jessica. They don't know how to do anything. And it makes me sick to my stomach. And right now, I'm essentially just talking.
Unknown Female Panelist
I gathered that.
Greg Gutfeld
All right, well, onto this Fox News alert. A judge just ruling that cameras will be allowed in the courtroom for the entire Charlie Kirk murder trial. The case against his accused killer, Tyler Robinson, is the case we're talking about. And we also learned that a preliminary hearing is set for early July. It was supposed to be in May. So that's a little bit of a Delay. Coming up, Seattle Socialist mayor keeps finding new ways to handcuff crime fighters.
Jesse Watters
Seattle Socialist Mayor Katie Wilson looking like a major fool after waging war on CCTV cameras, whining that it could make illegal immigrants feel less safe, and pausing expansion of police surveillance cameras. But those very cameras just helped nab these two vicious thugs who brutally beat up a 77 year old elderly man walking down the street. The man was shoved to the ground, beaten and left with a broken arm, broken knee and serious facial injuries. Last week, Wilson got asked about rolling back these cameras, but her staff tried to 86 the interview.
Jessica Tarloff
People in that community who are concerned
Jesse Watters
that there's been rising gun violence and that there should be more surveillance cameras
Jessica Tarloff
and that kind of thing, that's obviously
Jesse Watters
been an issue that you weighed in on.
Jessica Tarloff
Does that change it? Does that, does that change your perspective at all?
Greg Gutfeld
Let's keep it on the topic. I believe that CCTV cameras have an important role to play in our public safety system. And we also have to be very careful to make sure that our data storage security sharing practices don't make that system vulnerable to misuse and abuse.
Jesse Watters
She seems like a real strong leader, Greg.
Jessica Tarloff
Just watching her makes me want to ban all cameras. She's so annoying. This reminds me, don't be fooled by this. She doesn't like the cameras because it doesn't support her ideology. Reminded me how the left demanded body cameras to keep police accountable. Now they argue that body cams don't work because it didn't deliver on the promise of police brutality. Instead it cleared cops. What do you see on Instagram all the time? You see body cam and you know that without them, the cops would have been falsely accused the way they were so often before. Now this footage ends up being used against defendants and the left calls it copaganda, the thing that they love. So what if cameras, these surveillance cameras instead caught instances of racism and police brutality or hate crimes, Then of course they would love them. But that doesn't happen in reality. What happens is it catches thieves, theft, assaults, muggings and murders. Footage of actual crimes that help prosecute suspects and get them off the street. Which is against what this activist mayor believes in this restorative justice where prisons are bad and having bail is offensive and oppressive because they can't afford it. And the victims are just the eggs you break in. The omelet of eggs,
Greg Gutfeld
omelet of socialism.
Jesse Watters
The local news guy who got kind of curb stomped by the deputy. I mean, it's so humiliating. These local crews just ask the Question.
Emily Compagno
Well, yeah, but she was the one that was like. Or the guy, whatever. Oh, it's not on the agenda. As a former Seattle resident and I still have so many family there. The fact that. What's not on the. You think it was on the agenda for that 77 year old man to get his kneecap shattered and almost die by thumbs on the street? Do you think it's on the agenda for people who get carjacked there, who get their houses broken into, who trip over needles, who see their kids interfacing with zombies, who are led by this person? That to me is the biggest abdication of her duty. And it's so derelict for her to say to all of our faces something that's not on the agenda because it doesn't fit with the sort of comfort level and her expectation of all she's learned in a classroom from her professor parents. This poor 77 year old, I have to tell you guys, there's so much of this that have been discarded by her. And she purports to represent the underserved and those black and brown communities and the poor and the vulnerable. And that's why we don't want cameras. All of them are being discarded by her policies. An 80 year old woman, her name was Ruth Dalton. She was a dog walker and everyone called her Grandma Ruth. And in my neighborhood, which was just 15 blocks from the Chop Zone, in the summer of Love, she was carjacked, dragged and run over by her own car. Her dog was stabbed. And while she was trying to get the rest of the dogs out of the backseat, that's when the carjacker ran over her head with her car. And guess where that case is now? Oh, just pending, but oh, no cameras and oh, no violence whatsoever in the streets of Seattle. And the irony here is that after that, that Summer of love that you've described a lot, Kayleigh, in good detail, the city paid $30 million to the kid that died there because of their negligence. So how many millions are they gonna pay to the family of the 77 year old? How many millions are they gonna pay to the family of grandma Ruth because she died in a preventable way? Because they don't take crime seriously because it doesn't fit their socialist narrative.
Greg Gutfeld
Kaylee, yeah, she got the socialism of Zoran Mamdani, but she didn't get his suaveness. You know, he's a suave guy. He knows how to answer a media question. She doesn't. It's kind of baffling to me because this is basic Media training like you don't behave this way in an interview whatsoever. I remember I used to wrap Trump in interviews and he didn't even like being rapped. He just wanted to just do the interview. He knows how to speak. He knows how to speak like a normal person. And she does these awkward, weird things that she doesn't realize are going to air later and make her look completely asinine as it did the policies that she's putting forward. We talked about this. The Chop zone, the chaz zone, a 16 year old, a 19 year old killed. We know autonomous zones don't work. We know cameras do work. That's a tried and true fact. She knows that. She's Oxford educated. She might be delusional, but she knows how to absorb facts. And it is a fact that cameras work. And she cites privacy. Well, the stop Nick Shirley act, they're all about privacy of the fraudsters, but some stop the independent journalist. That's the MO of the left. Protect the criminal, protect the fraudsters. Take down the watch signs from that Ann Arbor neighborhood. Allow you to get mugged on your walk. But make sure the criminals are just okay. And it's so inclusive. The facts of the left, they simply do not work.
Jesse Watters
Jessica.
Unknown Female Panelist
Oh, I didn't know that. I also thought we were pro camera because we're the ones who want ICE officers to wear body cams and arthritis. Well, I don't know. We haven't agreed.
Greg Gutfeld
No, the Republicans agreed to that but
Jessica Tarloff
still shut down DH body cams on right now.
Unknown Female Panelist
I understand saying if CCTV footage is going to be turned over to Stephen Miller and Mark Wayne Mullen to track people who are here undocumented. Well, I think I'm that isimating that because it was. She didn't finish the interview in these
Emily Compagno
crime ridden areas of Seattle Just because I'm fine with the leap.
Unknown Female Panelist
Listen, I'm on tv.
Jesse Watters
Well that's you're saying there's like some cartel guy fugitive running through the streets and they have camera footage of them going into a car and you don't

want a regular person who is here on his way to Home Depot to do his daily break.
Jesse Watters
Mark Wayne Mullen is looking at CCTV on some random block in Seattle. Guy goes going to the grocery store.
Unknown Female Panelist
If that was a concern I would get it. Otherwise I like cameras. And all of the crimes are solved now via camera. Like that's how all this works.
Jessica Tarloff
Except in Planet Fitness steam rooms.
Unknown Female Panelist
That's legal.
Jesse Watters
I hope. Hope there's no cameras there. The fastest is up next. Our Eyes Die with Elizabeth Taylor.
Jessica Tarloff
Do you think it's forever?
Unknown Female Panelist
Welcome back, President Trump releasing the UFO files. Here's a composite sketch depicting eyewitness reports from September 2023 of an apparent ellipsoid, Bronze metallic object hovering. That's the word I messed up. I got ellipsoid hovering over a field. This one is crazy. An eight pointed star floating around in 2013. And this is some object over the skies of the United Arab Emirates in June 2024. And look at this. NASA photograph from the Apollo 17 mission, taken December 1972, showing three mysterious dots. Greg, I love this.
Jessica Tarloff
Yeah. Can you put up one of that with that one with the yellow?
Unknown Female Panelist
We have the yellow one, alien.
Jessica Tarloff
The yellow one. All right, well, just throw up anyway. How can you not miss that giant square? I mean, why? Did anybody else see the giant square? Look, UFOs, JFK, Epstein. I feel like I'm at the lamest strip club. Oh, you promised me you're going to show me the stuff. But then I get there and it's no different than a Hooters minus the wings and the strippers over 30. Look, maybe something big is coming. The Great Disclosure. But this is not it. I'm more concerned about aliens on our streets than the ones in the sky.
Greg Gutfeld
We'll be right back.
Unknown Female Panelist
Privileged position. This is like bipartisan fun, which I like.
Emily Compagno
Yeah, totally. And also the President, remember, gave it to the American people and was essentially like, you decide, guys.
Unknown Female Panelist
Do your own research.
Emily Compagno
Yes. What I love also is the spacecraft reverse engineering that is allegedly occurring where people have been telling reports of our best and brightest being tapped to work in these classified areas. Yep. Thank you. And to reverse engineer these orbs that have fallen and landed on our planet. And for those of you asking, yes, it's all under God's sovereignty, so I do believe he created it and it's all majesty.
Jessica Tarloff
Nice.
Unknown Female Panelist
Amen to that.
Jesse Watters
Jesse, I was promised. ET I'm with Greg, and I see a little speck followed around by a circle until I see a three and a half foot guy with green slime coming out of his tentacles. Wake me when that happens. Okay. I'm sure Pete Hegstaff's probably a little busy fighting the war in Iran to release the good stuff, but I want the good stuff. And. Yes, Pete, I'm talking to you. Yeah, you're the war secretary. Okay? We were here with you at Fox. Give me the little green men.
Jessica Tarloff
I want it now.
Emily Compagno
Jesse wants to be probed. No.
Jesse Watters
How'd you know?
Jessica Tarloff
Don Lemon's free.
Greg Gutfeld
He Said this is bipartisan fun. But close your ears, Jessica, because this is the most transparent administration in history. Why didn't Biden do this? He should have. I am with you, Greg, on this. And the thing is when you don't release things, it allows people to come up with these wild theories and then you release this and people are like, what are you hiding? So why was this concealed for Biden administration that round? I mean Obama, like, why was this concealed? You're right.
Emily Compagno
No.
Greg Gutfeld
What.
Unknown Female Panelist
How many. What is 3 million Epstein documents still not coming out.
Greg Gutfeld
Transparency.
Unknown Female Panelist
Haley wants it. They're all going Friday is up next.
Jessica Tarloff
It's fat mail Friday. The fur. The only question probably if a camera crew followed you around all day, what would people be most surprised? That's a great question. Let's go to you, Emily. What do you want me to skip you?
Emily Compagno
Probably they would be most surprised that perhaps I am like exactly the same energy all like it doesn't stop. Like I do. I walk as fast as possible and I think.
Unknown Female Panelist
Yeah, I don't think they think you're faking it.
Emily Compagno
Well, not faking it, but that there, there's no off switch. The only off switch is when I get in bed and then I shut and then I'm like robot off on.
Unknown Female Panelist
I don't know.
Emily Compagno
I hate that. I hate going first.
Jessica Tarloff
Jesse, what would they be surprised about?
Jesse Watters
Probably how moral I am.
Jessica Tarloff
Yeah. Yeah, you are.
Jesse Watters
I wake up, I read the B. Bible teach you. I have a breakfast with my family.
Jessica Tarloff
Yeah.
Jesse Watters
I prepare for the show.
Jessica Tarloff
Okay.
Unknown Female Panelist
I love that.
Emily Compagno
That's great, Jessica.
Unknown Female Panelist
I don't know. I would like to say that they'd be surprised by the fact that I now like don't exercise at all. Which is so bad because I, I'm lucky. I should be like much fatter based on my diet and that.
Jesse Watters
Fishing for a compliment. You look very trim.
Unknown Female Panelist
Thank you.
Jessica Tarloff
HR commented on her looks. You have five million witnesses, Jessica. Six figure settlement, maybe seven.
Greg Gutfeld
Lord.
Jessica Tarloff
What about you, Kayleigh?
Greg Gutfeld
I think they'd be shocked at how much I do. I Woke up at 5:55am Went on the treadmill. My son threw up three times in the car. He was with my husband. I had to rearrange the babysitter. Got here, did outnumbered, went back, did my daughter's play. Husband wasn't available to pick her up. Came back, did the five. She's in the car control room. What a boom.
Jesse Watters
What a bam.
Greg Gutfeld
Happening for a two hour show tomorrow after this. And I'll see you tomorrow at 10am
Emily Compagno
I don't think that's because anybody though
Jesse Watters
they know the show.
Jessica Tarloff
People would be most surprised by the sheer number of citizens of all stripes coming up to me and telling me how much I've changed their life. It's unbelievable. I now have security around the clock.
Jesse Watters
African Americans.
Jessica Tarloff
African Americans, too. Especially African Americans.
Jesse Watters
What about.
Jessica Tarloff
Oh, yeah, they thanked me, but in private, in the meetings. I get a lot of thanks in the meetings.
Unknown Female Panelist
This is a weird 2 joke.
Jessica Tarloff
One more thing's up there.
Greg Gutfeld
I'll have to explain it in the break.
Emily Compagno
Somebody put me together. It's time now for one more thing. Greg.
Jessica Tarloff
Oh, we got a great show tonight. We got Jim Norton, Todd who? Oh, Todd Pyro, Professor Gad saad, and Dagan McDowell. That's tonight at 10. Let's do this. Let's go to South Korea, where Gabby became the first robot to be ordained as a monk, part of the country's largest Buddhist sect ever. This is a sign. They're taking over. And the robot said he will devote himself or herself or they self to holy Buddha and the holy teaching. And he looks great. Or it looks great. Look at that. Look at that hand. Those crazy South Koreans. What do they think of next, Jesse?
Jesse Watters
Oh, that's right up my alley, Greg. We're gonna go around the world. Not to South Korea.
Jessica Tarloff
Look at that bouncing head.
Jesse Watters
Going to Bolivia. They're celebrating the annual Tinku Festival with fists. It's an event that blends Catholic devotion.
Emily Compagno
Oh, God.
Jesse Watters
With indigenous tradition.
Emily Compagno
Graphic warning, please. Graphic warning.
Jesse Watters
And it's meant to show people's devotion to Mother Earth.
Jessica Tarloff
I love that.
Jesse Watters
Tonight, Jesse Waters, primetime. Michio Kaku.
Jessica Tarloff
I love him.
Jesse Watters
Madison Allworth. And she's great. TDH 8 o'. Clock.
Emily Compagno
Kayleigh.
Greg Gutfeld
Tomorrow, 10:00am Eastern Time. Vivek Ramaswamy, Mike Lee, Ron Johnson, Wesley Hunt, David Hoak and Rick Harrison from Pawn stars. Tune in 10am Eastern Time Saturday.

Greg Gutfeld

Jessica Tarloff

Podcast Summary: The Five – "Billionaire Beef"
FOX News Podcasts | May 8, 2026
In this episode of "The Five," the panel dives into several of the week's hottest and most contentious political and cultural topics. The title segment, "Billionaire Beef," takes center stage as the hosts engage in a lively debate over Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) recent remarks criticizing billionaires and ‘woke’ political talking points. The conversation then branches into debates on taxation, fraud, class struggle, red versus blue state governance, and the morality of wealth acquisition in America. Later, the discussions shift to U.S. foreign policy with Iran, controversies over surveillance in Seattle, and a humorous segment on UFO disclosures. As always, the hosts bring a mix of sharp wit and pointed critique from multiple political perspectives.
The speakers maintain a spirited, rapid-fire, and often sarcastic tone throughout the episode, blending political critique with humor and pointed personal anecdotes. The discussion remains true to the format of "The Five"—diverse voices often debating but occasionally finding consensus on practical issues like crime prevention and government transparency.
This episode is a prime example of "The Five’s" signature energy: a sharp, opinionated, and often irreverent take on the news. Whether scrutinizing AOC’s economic arguments, discussing geopolitical crises, or lampooning political figures and bureaucratic red tape, the panel’s banter remains engaging and accessible. The wealth debate, critiques of urban governance, and playful speculation about UFOs each get their due, punctuated with memorable one-liners and passionate defenses of their respective corners. For both political junkies and casual listeners, this episode offers both substance and entertainment.
