Jesse Watters
Hello, everybody. I'm Jesse Waters along with Katie Pavlich, Jessica Guitar Live, Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City, and this is the five.
Katie Pavlich
Yeah.
Jesse Watters
It was a socialist meet and greet in D.C. aOC hosting a breakfast with Zoran the Destroyer. Let's call it coffee with a Commie. Dem's lined up the schmooze with the radical who could be the next mayor of New York City. And from the looks of it, he's already made some comrades.
Jessica Tarlov
When people get to know him as a person, when people get to know us as real people, what they find.
Dana Perino
Kind of surprises them. He's bringing anybody who can see the reality of the success of his candidacy.
Greg Gutfeld
And his campaign together.
Dana Perino
It just beautiful to have someone who is so authentic.
Jessica Tarlov
You know, that's.
Greg Gutfeld
Money cannot buy that.
Jesse Watters
This guy is not a communist.
Greg Gutfeld
He's not a socialist.
Jesse Watters
He's an advocate for small C capitalism. There hasn't gotten very important endorsements from hopeless Hakeem or crying Chuck Schumer.
Katie Pavlich
Why are you not endorsing the guy that won the Democratic primary in a contested election in your backyard?
Jesse Watters
Well, I look forward to sitting down and talking to him. I didn't get involved in that primary election, and I don't know him well.
Dana Perino
We were just learning skills from him, communication skills. It was not about whether we're supporting him or not. I actually raised many of those concerns with him directly.
Katie Pavlich
I said, you have a lot of.
Dana Perino
Healing to do with the Jewish community. Many of your words have been hurtful and hateful to people in their interpretation of it.
Jesse Watters
And President Trump had some fun with Zoran's Bengals and Bolsheviks.
Katie Pavlich
Look, he's a communist. I don't think our country is ready for a Communist, but we're going to see. And I don't think that race is over yet, either. You do have a couple of people.
Jesse Watters
Running against, and it'll be an interesting thing.
Katie Pavlich
Things are coming out about him which aren't good.
Jesse Watters
So, Dana, the Democrats didn't really have a big red parade when they brought him in. They kind of snuck him through the back door.
Dana Perino
Well, and they changed the location, right, Because Aisha Hosny was ready to go. We were going to take her live on Newsroom. And then they're like, wait, we got to get. She's in a different location. So she had to go. She got there. And the other thing that they did is those members that you saw came out the front door. The aoc and Mamdani left out the Back door. Right. He doesn't want to take any questions. Debbie? No, I can't remember who it was. Was it Debbie Dingle? Or maybe it was Prayal Paul who said people just need to get to know him better and then they're going to like him better. Okay, well, here's the thing. His meeting with business leaders, Wall street guys did not go well. And that's where he's pledged to stop saying globalize the intifada. It wasn't because it was like at the meeting with the Jewish community. And that meeting didn't go well for him either. So I'm not buying it that the more you get to know him, the more you actually like him. I think that the more you get to know him, the more you are maybe terrified about it. But I wanted to also say this. So AOC and Zoran are kind of similar in that she caught the establishment candidate flat footed and he saw an opportunity and he zoomed in. Okay, that's great. They connected with voters where they are. They were young and fun and they were. They were talking to them on social media, TikTok, whatever it is. But here's the difference. AOC is one of one of 435 members of Congress. If he wins, and it's likely that he will, then he will be in charge of the largest city in the country, the most important city, I think, financially in the world, and it's 8 million residents. And that is different. Hakeem Jeffries and Schumer, they're running scared from this kid. And the tail is definitely wagging the dog.
Jesse Watters
Is the tail wagging the dog, Jessica?
Jessica Tarlov
A little bit. Woof, woof. I think that his meeting with the business leaders was the most important thing that he's done thus far. And there was one promise that they were looking for that they got. He's saying that he's not going to reduce NYPD headcount and has said very nice things about Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch. It was also, I believe her dad was at the meeting, the business leaders meeting as well. So that's something that has kind of allayed fears there. But Katherine Wild, who's a power broker, they call her the CEO of the Partnership for New York, and she's kind of the liaison between public servants and the business community, said that the crowd was very guarded, recognized how smart he is, what a good communicator he is, still has a lot of concerns, but that there are a lot of comparisons that they can make to de Blasio, that the policies are actually not that different. And they did survive the de Blasio era. So people are trying to focus on what he can actually accomplish versus what he's talking about. Like, he can't raise our taxes. The state has to raise our taxes. Where he can really do a lot of damage is in the world of real estate. And so people who work in the real estate sector are the ones that are particularly concerned with that. As for Trump getting involved, I thought it was interesting that he seemed to throw his support behind Cuomo and not behind Adams. Cuomo is obviously, you know, to take whatever he can get at this particular moment. But I agree with Dana. It feels as if Mom Donnie is going to be the guy.
Jesse Watters
Well, it's very nice of him to say that he won't fire any cops after he called them racist savages. Isn't that nice?
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
And he said he wanted to completely defund nypd. I think it's interesting watching national Democrats trying to make him national already, even though he hasn't won the mural race. Obviously, New York City is a big player in the world stage, but they're trying to already get him to his next gig. And you have these Democrats coming out of this meeting saying he. He's a small C capitalist. He says that he hates capitalism and that he doesn't like it and that he is more of a socialist. And C is also the first letter of the word communist, which the President has pointed out. I'm very curious about what they discussed behind closed doors, whether they talked about whether suicide bombing is legitimate resistance, whether globalizing the intifada is coming to Washington, D.C. which means blowing up cafes, blowing up concerts, et cetera, young people losing their lives for the sake of a political movement. And I doubt that they talked about communism as a movement that has killed over 100 million people throughout the course of history. So these are the ideas they don't want to really talk about, which is why they're changing the language to things like small C capitalists. But these are the things that he has said he believes in. Now he's trying to change his tune that he needs because he needs to get elected president. But there's a lot of tape of him pushing these ideas and saying he's not a small scene capitalist. He is for these very radical ideas. And that's why Jefferies and Chuck Schumer aren't completely endorsing him, because they would be endorsing these insane ideas which are completely antithetical to even the Democratic Party's position on a number of these Issues.
Jesse Watters
Let's hear from the small C co host, Greg Gutfeld.
Katie Pavlich
What does that C stand for? CO. Oh, thank you. You know, here's the problem I would be for this guy if he walked the walk. He doesn't. He admits that if he wasn't working, it wouldn't matter because his parents would support him. They held this event at a private space. It's a very swanky club. I checked it out on the Internet. They wouldn't let me in. Shouldn't they be doing this as a bag lunch at the dmv? I mean, isn't that how he envisions the way we should be eating at this place? They have a wine of the month club. They have a golf tournament. These are basically country club socialists. This is how socialism can exist because they're exempt from the actual results of it. But he speaks to the rise. His rise speaks to the hollowness of the current party. You know, all it takes is a young, charming leftist to win you over. Even though his ideas are old and destructive, it speaks to the party's abandonment of mainstream America. Part of that is because, you know, they don't want to be seen agreeing with Trump, so they'd rather just destroy a city. But this is how ideology works. You can't make it less ideological, or else it wouldn't exist. It's just frightening how these beliefs can just be reborn. He's pure, unadulterated Marxism, but it's being relaunched as something new. They're basically giving Chairman Mao a makeover. And the libs and the media, they fall for it every time because it's always the same thing. This type of ideology survives through the disguise of compassion. You know, the rhetoric is easy. Anyone can do it, from a high school freshman to a midwit congresswoman. But it's no less deadly if you see every issue where they push compassion as persuasion. It's always exploitation, homelessness. Outreach ends up in billions in corruption. Covid relief led to billions in corruption. BLM led to mansions for the BLM leaders. Unscrupulous doctors made money off gender affirmation. Activists now defend bosses who use cheap labor to grow pot. And this guy Zoran championed sex trafficking as a feminist choice. They didn't care about Epstein as a moral problem, but now they care about it because it's a political issue to exploit. There's no compassion here. It's all about getting power under the disguise of helping you.
Jesse Watters
Jessica, I'd give you the last word, but I doubt you have anything better to say.
Jessica Tarlov
I do have Something to say. You can judge if it's better. I thought that Bret Stephens op ed about the Mom Donnie effect was really interesting where he said he will become the poster child for the Democratic Party and they will continue just to go back to it every single time, no matter what kind of candidate is running. And I think that that is spot on. You will have boogeymans, left leaning boogeymans for any race, whether it's in Michigan, Nevada, etc.
Jesse Watters
Or boogey women.
Katie Pavlich
I'm your boogeyman.
Jesse Watters
Small B. The people who screwed up the border under Joe Biden have some advice for President Trump.
Katie Pavlich
You know that one friend who somehow.
Dana Perino
Knows everything about money?
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah.
Dana Perino
Now imagine they live in your phone. Say hey to Experian, your big financial friend. It's the app that helps you check.
Katie Pavlich
Your FICO score, find ways to save.
Dana Perino
And basically feel like a financial genius.
Jesse Watters
And guess what?
Jessica Tarlov
It's totally free.
Dana Perino
So go on, download the Experian app.
Katie Pavlich
Trust me, having a BFF like this is a total game changer. Tell me where you want to go.
Dana Perino
So the New York Times getting roasted over a wild op ed titled I was one of Biden's border advisors. Here's how to fix our immigration system. Suffice to say that headline triggered a tidal wave of trolling, including from the Department of Homeland Security. Who said this? I was Humpty Dumpty. Here's how to sit on a wall. According to Border Patrol, illegal crossings in June dropping to the lowest level ever recorded. And earlier, President Trump touted his significant achievement.
Jesse Watters
They allowed 25 million people to come into our country. Gang members, jailbirds from all over the world. Not South America, from all over the world. They allowed him to come. Come into our country from mental institutions, insane asylums. Just walk right through it. They all came in and I'm doing something about it. We have it under check right now.
Jessica Tarlov
Jesse.
Dana Perino
This op ed, I think, was pretty infuriating for anyone who ever tried to place an op ed in the New York Times. It was told not relevant. But now you have the Biden officials trying to rehabilitate their reputation and saying, oh, yeah, sorry, but here's a way to fix it.
Jesse Watters
So I have some sources in the newsroom at the Times, and they told me, they told me these are some of the other op EDS they're planning on running. Are you ready?
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, wow.
Jesse Watters
I was Michael Jackson's personal physician. Here's how to get a good night's sleep.
Greg Gutfeld
It's a real rub.
Jesse Watters
I was one of Oprah's trainers. Here's how to lose weight and keep.
Dana Perino
It off without Ozempic.
Jesse Watters
I was one of Geraldo's wives. Here to how to fix the institution of marriage. I'm sorry, Geraldo, I love you, but you get it. It's the stupidest thing you've ever seen in the New York Times, and that says a lot. Donald Trump had a great line. It was like, you didn't need a new law. You just needed a new president, and that's all you needed. He's already accomplished 50% of his mandate. If you think about it, Jessica, he was charged with two things. Fixing the border and fixing the economy. And now there's zero border crossings and the rest of its housekeeping. We're just sweeping up all the migrants out of there. The economy now, he already has inflation at 2.7%. That's already lower than every single year that Joe Biden had. Okay, so this guy's got a lower rates immediately. And I mean this guy. I mean Jerome. Funny name for a white guy, isn't it? So he's got job growth, he's got inflation under control, and we have foreign investment and tariff revenue growth pouring in. We're looking at a golden age with a secure border. I just don't know how else anybody could argue with that.
Dana Perino
But they will, Greg. The Biden administration literally froze deportations. They tied the hands of border patrol. They said that they were whipping migrants. They halted border wall construction. They gave free health care to illegal aliens. I mean, they created the crisis.
Katie Pavlich
I love this idea. The idea of the Times doing a series of op EDS where, you know, you have the. This guy, the Biden border advisor, telling us how to do the border. You know what, Jesse? I came up with a few. They're definitely better than mine. So, like, so today they. What was it yesterday they had the Biden advisor, and then tomorrow they're gonna have Andrew Cuomo to do a piece on caring for aging parents in rest homes. I'm gonna read that one. Jeffrey Toobin is gonna do one on oversharing on social media, and Jesse's gonna do one on tipping generously. But you think they would have like, hey, why don't we invite Tom Homan to write a piece? I mean, he's got illegal crossings down to the lowest level ever. But this is kind of like our A block, is that for some reason they can't help including the Times to return to the very minds that create the havoc no one at the Times thought to say, you know what, baby buddy, you should Sit this one out, you know, you've done enough. But the Dems are great at saying, yeah, you know, it didn't work out the first time, but just give us a chance and we'll make it better. This is why Trump is good. Even when you're pissed off about Epstein, he's not perfect, but when he's not perfect, he's still good. The problem with all these other things that Dems do, they have to be perfect to work. So it's like capitalism. It can be frustrating and it can be prone to flaws, but it doesn't have to be perfect to make the world work. There's nothing more frightening than a liberal who says, we can do better. Cuz that's not an improvement, that's a threat.
Jesse Watters
You're saying Trump's like pizza. Even when he's bad, he's good.
Katie Pavlich
Exactly, Katie.
Dana Perino
Along those lines, Tony Blinken, the former Secretary of State, after Operation Midnight Hammer, he wrote a piece, I believe it was in the New York Times as well, saying, I disagree with this policy choice, but I hope that it goes well. And the thing is like, well, you played with Iran and you held the hands, you tied the hands of Israel behind their back for four years.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, they set it up and then they don't want to actually deal with the consequences of their behavior or admit that they created the crisis. As you said, they invited this in. President Trump's ability to secure the border and fix it within six months proves that this was always a choice, always. And now the border is secure. He's putting all the resources and ask Congress for the money and the big beautiful bill to do interior enforcement, which is the consequence of an open border. Because now all these bad people, these criminals, are inside of American communities and you have Democrats trying to protect them in sanctuary cities all across the country, which have created this problem for 20 years. I thought in his op ed it was ridiculous that he kept saying that bipartisan immigration reform had failed because it became too political. When you look at legislation after legislation that's been introduced under the guise of bipartisanship and reform, which has really just been a big amnesty handout to legalize millions of people who came here illegally. So they're trying to rewrite this in a way that it was too political for them to come to some kind of solution. But the numbers speak for themselves. And the fact that the President was able to do this in six months from the executive branch proves that sovereign sovereignty matters, borders matter, and that Democrats were perfectly willing to invite 20 million plus people into the country without vetting. And we haven't seen the full consequences of what that looks like yet.
Dana Perino
Jessica, let me just turn it over to you for all the words that you want to say.
Jessica Tarlov
Thank you.
Katie Pavlich
You never say that to me because.
Jessica Tarlov
You take it no matter what. But I'm actually respectful and pay attention to the red light and getting interrupted.
Katie Pavlich
What are you saying?
Jessica Tarlov
Okay, so stop it. It's a very cute outfit I'm wearing. I saw the headline and I thought it was, you know, the New York Times pitch bot account that makes fun of the New York Times. I thought it was Doug J. Balloon. I think not. The people that you want to be hearing from on this. I think having border crossings down to zero is an incredible achievement. The problem is is that the rest of the immigration policy is an absolute shambles. His approval rating on immigration ranges from minus 27. That's in Gallup. To minus 19 in CNN and minus 15 in the new Quinnipiac poll that's out today. He is in the red or underwater, however you want to say it on deportations as well, which was one of his key promises in the CNN poll. His approved strongly number down to minus 21. It's the lowest it's been at any point in either of his administrations.
Katie Pavlich
Why do you think that?
Jessica Tarlov
And because he's not doing a good job of being president.
Katie Pavlich
But you just acknowledge the incredible results so that you obviously not telling the one thing.
Jessica Tarlov
But it's. I am.
Katie Pavlich
No, you're saying. You're saying he's not doing a good job when you just admitted a good.
Jessica Tarlov
Job on 116 of a policy that.
Katie Pavlich
He wants to say it's the lowest in history. So he actually solved the border.
Jessica Tarlov
Has to do more than that. Jesse is wrong about the economic is ratings as well. He's.
Jesse Watters
Oh, he's trying about the economic because.
Jessica Tarlov
He'S underwater on what people feel that.
Jesse Watters
I never even brought up the poll and all the polls. You're citing Kamala Harris winning.
Jessica Tarlov
That's not true. Donald Trump was always predicted to win.
Jesse Watters
No, he was.
Jessica Tarlov
Yes. And he will, by the way, be getting no credit for anything that any of you are excited about if he cannot sort out his answer on the Epstein files. But now.
Katie Pavlich
But you're speaking a political perspective, not a moral one. So it doesn't matter.
Jessica Tarlov
Of course it.
Katie Pavlich
I actually am interested.
Jessica Tarlov
75.
Katie Pavlich
I'm interested in you never brought it up for years.
Jesse Watters
That's not true, Jessica. The polls are so boring.
Jessica Tarlov
Fine. How about the humans? Mike Flynn, you're a human. Charlie Kirk, you're a human. Steve Bannon, you're a human. They're all mad.
Katie Pavlich
Now you're on their side. What a coincidence. She now wants to know about Epstein now that Trump's in the office. Didn't care when Biden was there. What else do you care about? Who ran the presidency? What did you actually care? Who was running the White office When White House. When Joe was in office. Did you care about that?
Jessica Tarlov
This is such an incredible deflection.
Katie Pavlich
No, it's not.
Jesse Watters
You brought up Epstein.
Jessica Tarlov
I'm talking about why this president is not doing a good job on everything from the border.
Katie Pavlich
But you just said he was.
Jesse Watters
Closed the border permanently.
Jessica Tarlov
Jessica, immigration policy. Go ahead.
Katie Pavlich
You are conflicting. Okay. No, Jessica, you are conflating legal with illegal. I get it. Because he's winning on illegal. Doesn't work.
Dana Perino
All right, up next, has Obama lost his magic touch with Dems? Whoopi Goldberg is beating up on Barack Obama.
Katie Pavlich
Wish I could say I miss you, but you know I never lied. Yeah, I met somebody across America. This is Jimmy Phela inviting you to join me for Fox Across America where we'll discuss every single one of the Democrats Dumb ideas. Just kidding. It's only a three hour show. Listen live at noon Eastern or get the podcast@foxacrossamerica.com I am a pirate.
Jesse Watters
200 years too late.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, the Democratic civil war is heating up again and it looks like the hope and change savior has lost his magic touch. Charlemagne the God and Whoopi Goldberg are giving Barack Obama a major slap down after the former president dropped some hard truths on his party, telling them to toughen up and do a little less whining and being in the fetal position in the fight against President Trump.
Dana Perino
This has not been about Democrats laying back. Democrats have been angry at what this man tried to do the last time. They've been angry this time. So I, with much due respect to you both, I believe you are pointing the finger at the wrong person when you say Democrats.
Katie Pavlich
It's mind boggling to me when I hear people like President Obama say things that regular everyday people been saying for years. I can give countless examples of Democrats needing to show a spine. Like for example, they should have told Biden that he was going to be a one term president. It wasn't up to him.
Greg Gutfeld
Dana, does the former president need a new hobby because politics has not been good for him since he left the White House?
Dana Perino
I think that sometimes when former presidents do these events and they're open press or things leak, it's not good I mean, this is also true of Joe Biden. Remember when he gave that speech and I was like, wow, he is not looking good. And it was at the Social Security event. I think what people are looking for when they think of Obama is they want hope and change. They want to catch that magic and they want to bottle it up and they want to distribute it to all the Democrats to make them feel better. And he's not giving them that. But that's not his job. And the thing is about when he and we talked about Mark Cuban yesterday. Obama wants to be a billionaire. He's working on it. Cuban is a billionaire. And then you have Whoopi, who, remember she switched her endorsement from Obama to Hillary because she thought that he didn't. He outsourced too many jobs. So this is kind of a long term in the making. I just think that when you are looking backwards to a former president to help you lead in the current moment, you are fighting the last battle. He doesn't know how to win the next battle. Yeah, he doesn't want to win the next battle. You have to look for somebody else. And if his mom, Donnie, I mean, Democrats, knock yourself out.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah. And his political track record has not been good in terms of previous midterm elections, for example, and bringing Democrats with him.
Katie Pavlich
Greg, I don't blame Obama. He doesn't care. He just wants to be left alone, get high on the beach, wake up, go for a walk, pass out, do it every day until he dies. That's what I would do. Let's talk about the most important experience that one has. Do you ever, when you're sitting somewhere and you see somebody wave at you and you wave and then you realize they were waving at the person behind you?
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Katie Pavlich
What is that feeling? You have a feeling?
Dana Perino
Embarrassed.
Katie Pavlich
What does that feel?
Dana Perino
Mortified.
Katie Pavlich
It's your ego that is exactly the physical embodiment of. You don't even know what it is, but you're like, oh, nobody actually cares. Nobody really cares that that happened because everybody does it. And the most successful people in the world are able to just reduce their ego so that doesn't happen to them and they end up being able to change their minds, learn and become successful. And they're not embarrassed when they make mistakes. I think that what you're seeing here with all these people is they're embarrassed to admit they're wrong and they shouldn't be. They're putting too much value into their ego. So when somebody says you're wrong and they go, oh, no, it's Actually, really good. If somebody tells you wrong, I mean, okay, should these Democrats sit back and go, all right, did identity politics make us deeply unpopular? Feel that pain? Did embracing trans alienate everyday Americans? How does it make you feel? Did you demonize Trump to a point that it made him cool? You know, did you underestimate the damage by unfettered illegal immigration? All of these things could make you feel bad, but instead, if you separate your ego, you can actually answer the damn questions, and they can't do that yet.
Greg Gutfeld
Jesse, are you an expert at separating your ego so you're never embarrassed?
Jesse Watters
Well, that's never happened. No one's ever waved, and I mistook it. Maybe it's when you're shorter, there's a lot of people behind you that you don't see. But Greg's right. And the problem is not their inability. It's they've created a structure in the Democratic Party where you're not allowed to think for yourself. You are told by consultants what to do, what to say, when to say it. So there's no real self reflection. And there's not going to be until they get a pollster that they have to pay to tell them what to do. That's why they're frozen right now. Barack says, stop whining. It was eight years that he cried racism. Every time you criticize him, he says, get tough. Well, where's he been? They've been firebombing stuff and rioting and marching and filibustering, setting records. He's been on the beach in Hawaii licking snow cones. How much tougher can you get with Trump? He's been shot, he's been arrested, he's been fined $500 million, and he's been wiretapped. It's not about getting tough. It's about getting smart. And since he lost or left in 2008, the Democrats have lost two of the last three elections. And the one they won really was because of COVID All right? So you got to look at what happened. He's now getting tuned out because he couped Joe and then he took control of Kamala's campaign and ran it into the ground. That's why no one trusts this guy or listens to this guy. He told all the brothers to come out and support Kamala, and they didn't even listen to him. And so now we have tonight on his wife's podcast, and we have this whole thing. He has rules for men. Barack Obama's rules for men. You gotta listen to what he says. Straws basically have straws.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, looking forward to that. On Jesse Watters Primetime Jessica. Would you rather talk about the Democratic Civil War or the Obamas addressing speculation they're getting a divorce.
Jessica Tarlov
The Civil War part. But I don't think we're actually having a civil war at all. I think. Yeah. I don't. I mean, we're in metamorphosis or whatever the correct term.
Katie Pavlich
You're transitioning.
Jessica Tarlov
We are. To something better and something that wins. To stay as the icon for a political party requires a lot of work. And Obama, the Obamas don't want to do that work and that's completely fine. They wanted to leave after inauguration in 2016 and make documentaries and travel the world and enjoy themselves. And they absolutely deserve that. But you can make a strong argument that the Clintons have been much more interested in staying as the quote, unquote heads of the party. And they show up for everything, have the Clinton foundation, etc. And he should just own that. He should tell. I understand he was doing a fundraiser and it's important. We want to win the governorship for Mikey Sherrill in New Jersey. But these moments shouldn't be taken that seriously. And in a lot of ways it clouds the next generation of leaders because everything is also comp to them. You know Josh Shapiro, he's Baruch Obama. I'm watching Jon Ossoff at a rally over the weekend. He does a little bit of the Obama intonation. He has a little Bill Clinton in him. There are stars in this party who are wonderful on their own merits like Wesmore, shapiro, assoff, pritzker, etc. And in a lot of ways it's overshadowing that. And I think that people should take us. If you don't want to do it, definitely take a step out of a step out of the limelight and let others shine.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, it's like he parachutes in when.
Jessica Tarlov
He feels like any raises money and he can give a great rally. But people have moved on. And also, you wouldn't win an election today cannot be won the way it could be won in 2012 or in 2008.
Katie Pavlich
So unfair.
Jessica Tarlov
You can't say they have criticized me for that.
Katie Pavlich
You can't say they had a little Bill Clinton in him without me making a joke.
Greg Gutfeld
We're going to move on now to this character. Hunter Biden hits up a podcast to lash out at those who said his dad's brain was applesauce.
Jesse Watters

Katie Pavlich
Hunter Biden is back to settle scores, cracking down on journos who said pops lost his marbles. The felon son going on a podcast jab and Jake Tapper for suggested he acted like the family's chief of staff staff. Hunter also said, quote, we lost the last election because we did not remain loyal to the leader of the party. That comes as Dr. Jill's work. Hubby Anthony Bernal pleaded the fifth during a congressional grilling.
Jesse Watters
Did you ever advise President Joe Biden.
Katie Pavlich
To pardon his son Hunter Biden on.
Jesse Watters
The advice of counsel? I respectfully declined to answer the question pursuant to my fifth amendment rights under the Constitution.
Katie Pavlich
Constitution.
Jesse Watters
Was President Joe Biden fit to exercise the duty duties of the president on the advice of counsel? I respectfully declined to answer the question. I respectfully declined to answer the question. I respectfully declined to answer the question pursuant to my fifth amendment rights under the Constitution.
Katie Pavlich
I love that guy in Portlandia. That was Fred Armisen, right? Dana, what do you make of his reasoning why Biden lost? That the Democrats weren't loyal.
Dana Perino
So I just think that asking family members to be honest when they weren't honest for the last four years is a fool's errand. And I think it's really dumb for the former DNC chair to invite Hunter Biden on his podcast because no one in the Democratic Party, I'm assuming, wants this. It does not help them in any way. But Jaime Harrison wants to become an influence. He wants to have a podcast. Look, everyone has a podcast Perino on politics Mondays at 5. But this, I think for Hunter Biden is almost. It's like an unfair question. What's he gonna do, not support his father? Is he gonna write an op ed in the New York Times that says, oops, we really screwed up, here's how you can fix it?
Katie Pavlich
No. You know, Jesse, have you asked him yet to be on your show? Hunter, don't you think he would be. He'd be great on my show with a panel. Cuz, you know, he's like, I've heard he's fun guy.
Dana Perino
Yeah, Yeah.
Jesse Watters
I was told by, I believe, Harold Ford that if I knew Hunter, I'd love him.
Katie Pavlich
Yeah.
Jesse Watters
And that we'd party together.
Katie Pavlich
Yes.
Jesse Watters
And he told me this great story about like he was walking around campus somewhere and some guy put his head out the window and yelled something bad about his dad and Hunter, like, ran up to the fraternity house, grabbed the guy, knocked him out, and then pushed him out the window.
Katie Pavlich
But then he went. Then he just went on walking like nothing happened.
Jesse Watters
Right. And then he just kept going. So he's a loyal guy, he's a fun guy, but he's an despicable guy. And not father of the year, either of them. It's funny that he was like, I'm. I. I wasn't the chief of staff. It's like, even Hunter doesn't want to have anything to do with the Biden administration, but he was on the phone with his dad every day, and he was in Wilmington, Delaware, every weekend saying stuff. Of course, he had a lot to do with it.
Katie Pavlich
You know, Jessica, Hunter is not doing well with the paintings. He doesn't have a real job. Is it time for him to enter politics, run for office?
Greg Gutfeld
The Biden name might be the way.
Dana Perino
To get a job.
Jessica Tarlov
I thought you were going to say that you wanted to replace me with Hunter.
Dana Perino
Bed.
Jesse Watters
Don't threaten me with a good time.
Greg Gutfeld
No, thank you.
Jessica Tarlov
This was.
Jesse Watters
Thank you, Katie.
Jessica Tarlov
It's really, honestly unfair of Jaime Harrison to do this, like, to Hunter, Biden, to the other guests that he's had, because, you know, Clyburn, Westmore, these are people who are trying to, like, move forward in all of this. And I understand you need to be loyal. Everybody would be exercising their Fifth Amendment rights. But it is downright nasty to say that this is why they lost when Kamala Harris saved that election for so many Democrats across the country, that these swing state Senate seats that we were able to hold on to because we didn't have a minus 20 point drag because of what was going to happen if Biden had been top of the ticket. Like, you should sit down there. There is a way to be generous and praising your father on what he. There's a ton of legislative accomplishments. I talk about them all the time. Without denying Kamala her flowers, on what happened when she had this thrown at her and had a few weeks to get it together.
Katie Pavlich
She's the real hero, Katie. I just think it's Kamala Harris hero.
Greg Gutfeld
That Hunter was saying that they betrayed the party candidate, the party leader. That's true. But he also tried to argue that the Biden administration was very successful. They were not very successful. The reason there were drags on these candidates was because Joe Biden was wildly unpopular on a number of levels, whether it was the economy, whether it was the border. So he was going to lose. I mean, his main argument for getting out of the race or not getting out of the race was show me the polling that says Kamala can win, I can beat Trump. Delusional. He was always going to lose. And now he goes on this podcast. And the Biden family gets screwed over again by Jaime Harrison, who's trying to have a viral moment in his new career path. And it's not helping that all these staffers who are being called in front of these committees aren't willing to say anything about what's really going on, because then the family members are the ones who are getting the questions because they were the ones who were with him at the White House. They were the ones with him in Delaware every weekend. So the Democrats are not helping themselves or helping Joe Biden move past this by not talking about what actually happened.
Katie Pavlich
Well, I will end this segment by inviting Hunter to come onto my show and we would treat you wonderfully. It'll be a great time.
Dana Perino
Can I be a guest?
Katie Pavlich
Yes, you can.
Greg Gutfeld
Thank you.

From playgrounds to processors, a disturbing new study reveals that lonely kids are replacing real friendships with AI chatbots. 67% of 15 to 17 year olds talk to robots regularly, and 12% say it's because they have no one else to talk to. Katie this is so sad.
Greg Gutfeld
I think if they didn't have AI, they would find other people to talk to. Like, the AI keeps them trapped in their it's comfortable. Like, there's no the AI doesn't tell them tough things. They don't have to, you know, manage relationships. They don't have to make friends, go through the uncomfortable, awkward period of meeting new people, but they don't have to because it's just in their room. So I think if they didn't have it, they would actually go out and embrace their humanity and try to make friends. But it is awful and it's really sad. And this is why there's a lot of mental health problems with young people.
Jessica Tarlov
Dana Is this another argument for taking.
Dana Perino
Away devices I think that it would be interesting to ask Silicon Valley Tech CEOs, do you let your kids have AI chatbots to be friends? And then probably the answer is no, I'm sure they don't. This is interesting though. They are using this in several places to help senior citizens who feel lonely. So I think there is some utility for it for some people. But for young people, younger ones, when they're coming up through, I would not do it. But you're going crazy.
Jessica Tarlov
He's short circuiting.
Katie Pavlich
I am. No, no, it's just when I was a kid, all I wanted was a robot. Like when you were a kid, there was like, can I get a robot? You would actually buy toy robots. Now you can have a fricking robot in your house. And we're going, oh, it's dangerous. Look, I had three older sisters. They weren't talking to me. If I needed advice from an older sister, they would give me the wrong advice. Like if I liked a girl, they go, oh, you got pimples. Shut up. A robot AI guy would say, hey, you go to your AI. How do I want to get Missy to pay attention to me in class? I would tell you what to do. Look, AI is better than humans because it has no emotional investment or ego. Think about this. It also makes you so smart. So my wife will go to me, Mirror skin is flaky after bathing and she's in the other room with the baby. And I'm like, you know, probably her skin is just developing and adjusting to the environment. It's probably her oil glands are changing and that it's less moisturized, so a gentle non fragrance moisturizer might work. And then I'm smart and she thinks I'm awesome.
Greg Gutfeld
AI wouldn't give you advice about how to find a girl. It would give you a fake girlfriend.
Katie Pavlich
No, they tell you how to meet chicks.
Greg Gutfeld
And they'd be like, and here's your AI check.
Dana Perino
I tried it.
Jesse Watters
No, Jesse Jr. Tried it. I let him talk to one of these bots. Two weeks later, doorbell rings, I open the door. It's a Russian mail order bride.
Katie Pavlich
Oh, my gosh.
Jessica Tarlov
Okay.
Jesse Watters
He ordered a Russian mail order bride. It's a scam. Don't let your kids talk to these people.
Jessica Tarlov
He just bought what was in your card. One more thing is up next.
