time for the foreign.
Dana Perino
Gutfeld along with Kayleigh McEnany, Jessica Tarlov, Jesse Waters and a golf tee is her lawn chair Dana Perino. The five. The Don proving that he still got his MAGA touch after Trump backed candidates cleaned house in multiple states last night, including Republican Thomas Massie, who got crowd surfed out of his own primary in Kentucky, losing to a former Navy SEAL by double digits. That's more than 10, Jesse. And while President Trump takes a victory lap, Hakeem Jeffries is vowing to break the spirit of MAGA extremists as a
Jesse Waters
guarantee we are taking back control of the United States House of Representatives in November. Either MAGA extremists are going to break the country or we're going to break them. And our goal is to break them. We will defeat them. We have to beat them electorally and then we have to break their spirit.
Dana Perino
Nice. Hakeem is also escalating his redistricting tantrum by hurting the prospects of young black athletes. The NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus are now demanding a boycott of sports programs at universities in Southern states that they say are redistricting black voting rights.
Jesse Waters
We are here standing in solidarity with the NAACP and its call for athletes to boycott institutions within the SEC that belong to states that have unleashed these Jim Crow like racially oppressive tactics, that the silence of these institutions is complicity. This is a Bill Russell moment, It's a Muhammad Ali moment, and it's a Jackie Robinson moment.
Dana Perino
Dana, I can hear you huffing and huffy from here, but there are two things that are like, there are two different bad things going on here. One is that, you know, the difference between us and them in terms of party is we want to beat your ideas. We don't want to break your spirit. It's a very angry and bitter kind of position to be in at this point. It's just, it's kind of sad. But the other thing is like demanding from young adults to forego their path, their educational path, to please politicians.
Kayleigh McEnany
Right. For their short term political power and because they don't want to compete on their, on the merits of their ideas that you should take a backseat. The schools that they're talking about are the ones that actually could potentially change your entire life. They are the ones that launched the big athletes. Am I right, Jesse? This is the SEC you're talking about. The sec, yes. That's what they call it. Remember yesterday we just did a segment about Michelle Obama saying you need to listen to the other side. You can't be mean to the actual people. And I guess maybe he's saying he wants to break the spirit of the coalition and he's not trying to be specific, but I mean, that gets a little old. So one, I don't like that. Also in Virginia, when the Democrats were trying to redistrict there, they were going to redistrict out several black representatives in order to help this one white member, Dan Helmer.
Dana Perino
Right.
Kayleigh McEnany
They were willing to do that. Also when they lost in the Supreme Court, they said, you know what, maybe we should take out the Supreme Court. And they should. You should have to retire at the age of whatever, whatever it was, it was early, but that would have taken out the two most popular Supreme Court justices who are black in Virginia. So it's like, what? I don't even understand what they actually support. I think that the Supreme Court has spoken. I don't necessarily think that Republicans have a lock on the midterms now and everything's gonna be fine. It's still a midterm year, but they're in much better shape than they were three weeks ago. But for the young people listening to this, I hope that they don't.
Greg Gutfeld
Boy, I don't like boycotts anyway.
Dana Perino
Yes.
Kayleigh McEnany
Just go to school, play hard. Hopefully you'll get recruited.
Dana Perino
Yeah, I don't think there are a bunch of young students obsessing over redistricting enough to like, oh, I'm going to do this for Hakeem Jeffries. The thing about Hakeem Jeffries, Kaylee, he's like a guy who drinks poison thinking it's going to kill his enemy. It's like he. There's nothing positive or persuasive about what's coming out of his mouth. Breaking your spirit. Yeah, it's a very kind of, like, strange thing to say. And he's talking about a group of people, not individuals. This is where identity politics brings you. We're going to break these people. It's crazy.
Greg Gutfeld
It's not just defeat them at the ballot box. It's maximum warfare. That's what he said. It's break their spirits. Let's crush them after we beat them at the ballot box. It's absolutely maniacal. And I think, you know, the lessons from last night I had and I have from the sound bite are Democrats are spiraling. I agree with Dana. This does not mean Republicans are going to win the midterms. But it does mean that while Democrats have the historical advantage, they always do, given the cycle that we are in, with a president in the White House of the opposite party, they are losing the structural advantage. And you see that with Virginia, they just threw out the map. The Virginia Supreme Court, the Supreme Court threw out racial gerrymandering. Thomas was correct in saying it's repugnant to the idea of a colorblind society to draw districts based on race. We should all be against that. They also have a structural disadvantage on fundraising.
Juan Williams
You look.
Greg Gutfeld
And Republicans have $100 million more, the RNC does than the DNC cash on hand. But there are also lessons for Republicans, and this is coming on the heels of last night. President Trump is 37 and, oh, last night with his endorsements. Thomas Massie is out. Bill Cassidy is out. We'll see what happens with John Cornyn, but he certainly does not have the president's endorsement. The five Indiana state senators who opposed redistricting, and they are all out. And I think the lesson for Republicans is it is time to grow a spine. I saw this Babylon Bee headline, I'll paraphrase it. And it was like conservative voters sitting here contemplating the next conservative to vote for, to betray them. And that is how Republican voters feel. They feel betrayed. They feel hope when they have the president out there fighting for them. That's why these MAGA candidates are winning. So Republicans need to fight in the way Democrats do fight with redistricting, as we've seen James Blair doing fight in the Senate with the filibuster, the Save America Act. Republicans need to fight. Democrats are spiraling. And grow a backbone because we need those MAGA voters to show up. Donald Trump's not on the ballot. He's not there to save the day for people this time around, but he's going to try and to get that tailwind. Republicans need to fight.
Dana Perino
Yeah, but you, when you say fight, you're talking about issues, not actual.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm talking about maximum warfare.
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah.
Dana Perino
I mean, you think about, like, how Jessica, you know, he says you got to break their spirit. How do you do that. You try to trans our kids. You open up the border to create chaos. You release more criminals into the general population. That didn't break our spirits. That just made us fight harder to change the environment. They tried to kill the president. How many times they killed Charlie Kirk. That's not going to break our spirit. I mean, when I'm here talking to you, I'm not trying to break your spirit, Jessica. That would break my heart.
Juan Williams
It would be impossible. I've survived the show for four years, and you're not going to get me. We lose the midterms, though, that could be actually the apocalypse. Listen, it's extreme language or bold language, but the president is out there referring to my entire party as the Democrats. Like, let's not pretend.
Dana Perino
That's funny, though. That's not breaking your spirit.
Juan Williams
Yeah, well, what he's saying is that Republicans are talking about the great night that they had, and President Trump did have a good night in terms of his endorsements. I want to unpack what happened in some of these races, but so he's saying they're out there, you know, riding high, saying, you know, we're on our way to this. Virginia didn't end up going our way. Right now, Cook has The Republicans with plus 5 advantage in the House. That's not assuming that we can pick up Virginia 1 and 2 and North Carolina 1, which I think that we can. But he's saying we got to bring this back down to earth. And let's talk about the facts on the ground, which is not that Democrats are spiraling, but that we have, according to the latest polling, the last two days, Quinnipiac and the New York Times, a 10 plus point advantage on the generic ballot. President Trump is at a 34% approval rating in the Quinnipiac poll, and he's underwater 18 points with independence. So last night, he can feel really good about what happened with Thomas Massie. But that district was a Trump +35, and they only won by 10 points. And they had to spend $35 million on it. It usually costs 100 to $500,000 to win a primary. $35 million. Tens of millions of dollars coming in from outside groups. I was astounded by this. You watch the parties at the end of the night, Thomas Massie's party packed. Ed Gallerain, that you pronounce it, has nobody there, no state lawmakers. He got 70 donors in total from Kentucky, whereas Thomas Massie had over 1500 donations. This was about outside money and Donald Trump going after him. And he didn't even win as big as he should. Have you look in Georgia, who John Ossoff may swear off against. There's going to be a runoff. Both of them lockstep with Donald Trump in an arguably a purple state right now where Ossoff has a big advantage. The endorsement of Ken Paxton yesterday, probably not that good for the Republicans. Brian Kilnade was talking about it this morning. The guy was impeached by his own colleagues to report repugnant for Republicans, wife leaving him, divorcing him on biblical grounds. And then Trump is out there and his platform is, I want absolute loyalty. I want to trade stocks, make hundreds of millions of dollars. I want my 1776 fund to make sure, you know, get the money that they're owed. I want immunity for me and my family from an audit forevermore. His kids are making tons of money. That's not a compelling platform. There's no, this is your health care plan. It's like, I want to get rich, and I don't care that you are poorer. So that's what last night told me.
Dana Perino
Wow. Well, you thought you could.
Juan Williams
What did you draw? A little boy?
Dana Perino
No, I draw this. This is what I draw. While pretty good. Pretty good, huh?
Juan Williams
Is that me?
Dana Perino
I'm going to sell these as a coloring book. Believe it or not, at some point, I have thousands of these in my office. Come by, we'll talk. Jesse, I want you to end this segment by unbreaking our spirit.
Jessica Tarlov
No problem. The segment, if Jessica had read the packet, is more about how Hakeem and Trump wield power. What Hakeem is doing here is slimy, and it's a betrayal of an entire generation of people, especially black people. He lost a court case fair and square at the Supreme Court. He cried racism, and now he's trying to punish all of these innocent people who have nothing to do with redistricting. Young black athletes in the south whose dream it is to go to University of Alabama, Ole Miss.
Juan Williams
How many of them are gonna go Georgia?
Jessica Tarlov
Exactly. He's trying to shut shame them into not pursuing their dream. You go to a school like this, you get a shot at the NFL, you get a first round draft pick, and then you could spend as much money as you want on your mother. That's the greatest story in America. And what he's doing is he's saying, I want you, who've worked your life to get recruited, to go to one of these schools, to maybe even play for a championship at Death Valley. First round draft pick. I want you to Throw it away and maybe go to the University of Wisconsin. No offense to the Badgers. Not the same program, Jessica. And it's like you're also punishing the fans, the families, the coaches, and the boosters. Let's think about the boosters here, and
Dana Perino
they usually love boosters.
Jessica Tarlov
Then you have Donald Trump, right? He's got a very tight margin in the House. And you got a guy out of Kentucky, a state you won by a gazillion points, and he's not voting for the big beautiful bill. He's being a pain on Epstein. He's working with the Democrats. Just try to humiliate you. He just found out who Epstein was last year. All right, so what does he do? He doesn't tell everybody, boycott the Kentucky Derby. He doesn't say, I want everybody to not donate to the University of Kentucky Wildcat basketball team. I want to punish the whole state, the whole school. He doesn't do that. What does he do? He recruits a candidate, he raises some money, and he wins. All right, so what? Hakeem did a lot of collateral damage, Punishes innocent people. Very selfish. Trump, surgical strike. Zero collateral damage. It was almost humanitarian the way he went about it. He only hurt one person.
Kayleigh McEnany
Don't forget also that Hakeem Jeffries would probably be okay if any of those guys wanted to compete on the girls team.
Greg Gutfeld
That's okay.
Juan Williams
Oh, my gosh.
Dana Perino
All right, fair point there, Dana.
Kayleigh McEnany
Thank you.
Dana Perino
Way to button up the segment. That's why she's a pro. Write her book.
Jessica Tarlov
Nice.
Dana Perino
Coming up next, a Democrat wants to put supporters of Israel in a camp.
Greg Gutfeld
More signs Democrats are struggling to police the anti Semites in their own ranks. A Texas House candidate in a district that could be competitive this fall, making a truly reprehensible campaign promise. Democrat Maureen Galindo posting on Instagram vowing to turn an ICE detention center into a prison for Zionist and former ICE officers. The radical candidate then posting a video clarifying her comments. But it didn't sound any less extreme.
Maureen Galindo
Dream, when I say that I want billionaire Zionists in prison, that does not mean I want Jews in internment camps. I don't care what religion you are. If you are a Zionist, meaning that you believe that you are just entitled to land, or someone's just entitled to land based off of religious beliefs and that you'll kill all of the Semites for it, then yeah, I think that you're a danger to humanity and belong in person.
Greg Gutfeld
Wow. Well, top House Democrats are condemning her comments and accusing a Republican super PAC of boosting her campaign and the left's favorite Nazi tattooed Senate candidate Graham Platner has been forced to explain his horrid past in deleted Reddit posts, like blaming sexual assault victims or mocking a wounded soldier.
Graham Platner
I mean, I, I, I sat on the Internet for, for a number of years getting in fights, try, I mean, quite frankly, in the parlance of the times, posting, trying to, trying to get a rise out of people, trying to get in arguments because it, you know, brought me some form of, I don't know, like serotonin boost or something, because truthfully, I was really, really isolated and alone and very angry.
Greg Gutfeld
He also had a disgusting post about being in a bathroom and things he did in there, like, this is not normal.
Dana Perino
Wait, go on, tell me more.
Greg Gutfeld
I will not. I am a lady.
Dana Perino
No, no. Please be very graphic. The people at home want to know what you're talking about. Tell me.
Greg Gutfeld
No.
Dana Perino
Tell me.
Greg Gutfeld
No.
Dana Perino
All right, who hasn't done something weird in a porta potty? Come on. The US Festival, 1983 all right, I blame the Jews for being awesome. Here's the deal. Why is anti Semitism more acceptable on the left when the left is predominantly, well, not predominantly, when most Jews are Democrats, Jessica included? I think that Jessica might even agree with me. There's a deep psychological drive to seek approval from hostile forces because your historical powerlessness has led you to assimilate for protection. You know that you exchanged the Torah for Ms. Now that is what's happening. So, you know, you wanna be Jewish, but you don't wanna be that Jewish. And so you're silent as your party kind of welcomes these anti Semitic elements. And they do it right in front of you, which is weird. You know, conservatives do have crazy people, it's clear, but we avoid them and we even condemn them. I mean, the queen, the queen of Jewish space lasers is now a darling of left. She was great over here until somehow she, she got some. She. A screw popped out of her head. There's a path for anti Semitism on the left, because the origin machine of the left, the campus, is where anti Semitism erupts. And then you kind of think, well, why are young white kids so consumed by Israel? Like, what's going on here? There's so much crap going on in the world. There's like radical religions actually destroying buildings and people and killing and raping. And you're like, fixated on this small country. Why the obsession with Israel among people that didn't even hear of it when they were in high school? All of a sudden it just happens. It's in the campus. I think Jews are seen as a proxy for white oppressors, and that's enough. And then likewise, they will see anybody with a dark complexion as the oppressed, which any cursory, I don't know, history of slavery would easily dispel, but they won't do it. But listening to that sick chick gobble on about whatever, it's like almost beneath us as humans to comment on it. But you know what? At least she's got her looks.
Greg Gutfeld
Did no one around her, Dana, say it's a horrible idea to put Zionist and internment camps in the same Senate?
Kayleigh McEnany
I'm assuming that she's just surrounded with people who agree with her and who are ignorant. And also, no one has told her to stop talking. With up talking, it was just like possible to listen to a grown woman who talks that way. That is just to me, it means you are not getting the promotion. You are not get. You're not getting the raise. You're not getting the opportunity. And I wouldn't be surprised if a Republican super PAC did boost her candidacy. Because you know what? You want to run against that? Because that's horrible. The other point that you make about it's become just a catch, all right, to say, like, well, Israel or the Zionist. So what happened on Monday? You had the school shooting. Well, the mosque shooting, the attempted school shooting in San Diego, and that was at a mosque, Right. But then, as I learned today, as they were writing in their little notebooks, you read through, and they're blaming Israel and they're talking about the Nazis and the Jews, and it's like, oh, wait, so that has just become basically the grievance for all. So now it's the blanket for all problems that they don't even know really what they're talking about. The other point I would make is when Thomas Massie lost yesterday, one of the things that he did is try to say that Gall Rhine, the one who, the person who won Trump's bad candidate, would be welcome in Tel Aviv. What do you think he was talking about? And the right continues to push out as best they can the anti Semitism that is growing throughout this country. But the left is not Bram Platner. I know that he's apologized for the tattoo and everything, but the opposition research on him is just beginning. What you talked about in the port, a potty that you won't describe to the people at home, unfortunately, even though we are looking at you, Kaylee, to explain to us exactly what happened in the Port. A potty. There's more where that came from. And I was just thinking Greg, do you know what an anagram of oppo researches? Oppo research. An anagram.
Dana Perino
Pot.
Kayleigh McEnany
Poop.
Dana Perino
Poop.
Jessica Tarlov
Oh, Dana.
Dana Perino
There we go. I think I don't. I don't really care about the porta potty stuff.
Greg Gutfeld
The porta potty, it involved blue liquid. I will say that. So that was part of the commentary.
Kayleigh McEnany
No, he says when he show you off it.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay. Everyone could google it. I wouldn't advise it. Jessica.
Dana Perino
It's called self care.
Greg Gutfeld
It's not just Galindo. It's also Omar who's still in Congress. All about the Benjamins, the loyalty comment. Rashida Tlaib from the river to the cease statement. It's a long list.
Juan Williams
Totally. And I've been appalled about it and I want it stamped out of the entire country, the entire political spectrum, but especially my party so that I can be a proud Jewish Democrat. This woman is terrible. Galindo. If you are in Texas 35 vote for Johnny Garcia. AOC posted about her too. Also saying back the other guy and there is a petition waiting for him if he waiting for her if she does one and she gets to Congress to expel her right away from Jared Moskowitz and Josh Gotheimer no place in the party. Hakeem Jeffries made that very clear as well. The narrative that it's only an anti Semitism problem on the left doesn't hold up like proud boys Oath keepers. Nick Fuentes now wants to be a Democrat because I think he gets him more clicks. But the groipers are a right leaning point.
Dana Perino
He's leaving the right because nobody wants him.
Juan Williams
Well but I named other people or the staffers in the group chats or like to deny that there is an anti Semitism problem going on on the right. When Dana just said what Thomas Massie said, you know I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent and concede and it took me a while to find him in television.
Greg Gutfeld
He lost his primary not and they're not sitting in Congress that well part
Juan Williams
of the reason that he did lose his primary and we are going to have to figure out a way to talk about this is because Jewish groups spent tens of millions of dollars against him. That's just the reality of what happened there. And he has voted against aid to Israel. He votes against aid to basically every foreign country. That is something he has been consistent on. But these conversations about the problems of anti Semitism which are very real and the attacks are growing that deny some of the realities on the ground. And we went through this with the Iran war and the role of Bibi Netanyahu and pitching this war takes us in circles and doesn't get us anywhere. You can't live with your head in the sand about the influence of. Of. I don't even know the right. Look, I can't even. I know a lot of you don't think I'm articulate anyway, but I'm not even comfortable talking about this because someone's gonna accuse me of being an anti Semite or someone is gonna.
Greg Gutfeld
I think that's a problem.
Kayleigh McEnany
I think that's what I think.
Dana Perino
I pointed this out when I said that it's like you wanna be Jewish, but not that Jewish.
Juan Williams
No, I. And the bottom line, I wanna be as Jewish.
Greg Gutfeld
I gotta get Jesse in. But the bottom line, not even Jewish. Bottom line is the proud boys and the Oath Keepers aren't in Congress. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are.
Jessica Tarlov
I love what she says here. She goes, I'm not anti Semitic. My last boyfriend was a Jew. And then she goes, do all Jews own Hollywood? No. Zionist Jews do. She does have one thing that I liked. Castration camps for pedophiles. Sign me up for that. Did you know this woman?
Dana Perino
Sign me up for that. What are you talking about?
Jessica Tarlov
I misspoke. Wouldn't be the first time. She's a sex therapist. Did you know that? But not just a sex therapist. She is an astrology themed sex therapist. She does tarot card readings. She calls herself a pleasure advocate and she engages in sex pleasure coaching. So I really hope she wins.
Kayleigh McEnany
Tonight on Jesse Waterspron Platner.
Jessica Tarlov
She's mocking soldiers for getting wounded and he's saying all cops are bastards. And this wasn't like in college, this was like a couple years ago. But you know what he says he was in a dark place and he was just angry. And the left goes, you know what? I'm glad you recovered. Here's $10 million. Welcome to the Senate. I mean, what the hell is that? What's happening here is that Democrats can't get normies. No normal person wants to run as a Democrat. So all they can find are nipple Nazis and anti Semitic sex therapists and some foreign born woman that wants to ban barbecues. Free telefrico. I mean, go down the list.
Juan Williams
Mary Patola, Sherrod Brown, Roy Cooper.
Jessica Tarlov
All these people that you say are normal actually are freaks and costumes like Spamberger. Remember her?
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, I remember all Right. A real crop of winners.
Jessica Tarlov
Just remember the nipple Nazi.
Dana Perino
I love that.
Greg Gutfeld
Coming up next, AOC Socialist Tax the rich fantasy land. Getting a brutal reality check from Jeff Bezos and Joe Rogan.
Dana Perino
But if you want to ride real
Greg Gutfeld
slow, winding down the red beans and
Jessica Tarlov
gasoline, you had to think the things don't last. I don't know. You like it?
Kayleigh McEnany
Jeff Bezos seems to be done being a punching bag for the likes of AOC and Bernie Sanders, the Amazon founder, giving this reality check on their socialist wish list.
Jeff Bezos
Politicians are using the kind of age old technique, so there's this tale of two economies and they're using this age old technique of, you know, picking a villain and pointing fingers. But the problem is that doesn't solve anything. People sometimes say that, you know, I don't pay taxes. So true. I pay billions of dollars in taxes. You could double the taxes I pay. And it's not going to help that teacher in Queens, I promise you.
Kayleigh McEnany
Angela Rogan is calling out AOC for saying you can't earn a billion dollars legally.
Joe Rogan
This idea that it's easy to become a billionaire and that these billionaires somehow or another are the problem because they're not paying their fair share is so weird. We just assumed that everybody who makes an incredible amount of money stole it. I think I literally heard AOC say this recently, that no one achieves substantial wealth without somehow or another victimizing other people.
Kayleigh McEnany
Right. And not do it illegally. I'm for unleashing the billionaires. Let them finally fight back. You have Ken Griffin finally saying enough is enough. Is it time for the billionaires to punch?
Jessica Tarlov
Well, the billionaires need better PR and this is a step in the right direction. It is a company that employs a million people, a million Americans, and they make great salaries. $50,000 to be a driver. And if you're corporate, you make six figures easy. It's a great company to start out at stock price. Ten years ago, stock price at Amazon was $50 a share. Today it's like $250. The guy is a multibillionaire because he owns a lot of the company. And you know how much his salary? His salary is 81 grand a year because that's what he paid himself in like 1998. And it's kept that way now. Doesn't pay a lot of income tax on $81,000 a year because you can't tax wealth. All of his wealth is tied up in Amazon stock. He sold it once. He sold about $4 billion in stock A couple of years back. And paid about a billion dollars in taxes. And he basically lives off that. Or he borrows from whatever the assets are. And if you want to go, start grabbing his wealth and grabbing his company. It's illegal. Think about what this company does. You can get whatever you want. A slip and slide, sneakers, the Torah at the click of a button. This has changed the world. We used to have to trade Indians for stuff. We used to forage in the forest. We used to build things. We have to elbow people out of the way on Black Friday. We don't have to do that anymore. This guy solved every single problem in commercial capitalism. And you guys want to put him in prison? No. Good.
Kayleigh McEnany
Earlier today, Kayleigh Zoram Hamdani pushed back against Bezos and said, I think there are a few teachers in Queens who would beg to differ. But the thing about this is that if you promise a teacher in Queens that she's just one paycheck, one higher tax rate away from on somebody else for all of her dreams to come true, and then you never deliver on that. And education of the kids doesn't get better. And then people start to get resentful. Like, what are we paying these higher taxes for?
Greg Gutfeld
That's right. What Zoran Mamdani is asking is for you to take the money and throw it into a pit of government ruin. And he asked this for Ken Griffin and throw the money at his ideals of free grocery stores. Right? Well, wrong. They don't work. We've tried free grocery stores. Kansas City, Missouri. It failed. We tried this in Baldwin, Florida. It failed. In Erie, Kansas, it was sold to a private company. It failed. The Soviet Union, Venezuela. It failed. So what he is asking billionaires to do, Give me your money so I can throw it at a grand experiment. Except it's not a grand experiment. It is a proven failure everywhere it has been tried. Instead, let the Ken Griffins of the world give 650 million to charity, which is what he's done. That benefits New York residents, create jobs. That is the proven experiment that has worked. Entrepreneurship, conservatism, not socialism.
Kayleigh McEnany
Jessica, obviously, talk about it, whatever you want. But I was thinking about how this idea that the accomplishment is raising the taxes. Like, they don't say what they want to do with raising the taxes. They just like, by raising the taxes, it's like, check the box. I accomplished something.
Juan Williams
Well, they want to for Mom, Donnie. And listen, I'm not in. We're not going to have free buses or the grocery stores. He can't freeze all of the rents, but he can get universal childcare and he can get Universal 3K. And those have been the policies that he's talking about where he says that money would go towards it. And Bezos likes his pied a terre tax, actually. He says, yeah, if someone doesn't live there and they have a house, an apartment that's valued at over $5 million, you could pay a bit more for that. Otherwise, unleash it back into the ecosystem and let someone who actually is in New York and contributing to the economy there every day use it. 61% of Americans, that's inclusive of Republicans in there, think that the wealthy don't pay enough in taxes. That's just a fact.
Greg Gutfeld
So if you think that.
Juan Williams
But.
Dana Perino
Yeah, why did they think that?
Juan Williams
Well, that's also what Donald Trump told them in the 2016 election. Remember, he and Bernie Sanders sounded a lot alike in 2016. Hillary Clinton was the one who sounded more hawkish or whatever you want to say on this. So the idea of unleashing the billionaires and that you're going to have, you know, a surrogacy class of Jeff Bezos and Ken Griffin for an election that is all about the little guy versus the Epstein class, as Jon Ossoff puts it, is not a good recipe for this. What I was interested in, though, is Bezos said that the bottom half of earners in the country shouldn't pay income taxes. He was talking about that nurse, and he said if she makes $75,000 a year and she pays 12,000 in taxes, that's wrong. She shouldn't be giving up that money. It shouldn't be going to Washington.
Jessica Tarlov
Makes sense to me.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Juan Williams
Well, I'm saying that that part, I thought, reduces spending.
Kayleigh McEnany
Do the regulations and all of the things. One thing I want to point out, the Seattle mayor, you know that that socialist lady.
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Kayleigh McEnany
There. She's regretting what she said about telling billionaires to leave.
Dana Perino
Yeah, she should. You know what is greedier? Getting rich from hard work or taking from the rich who got there through hard work? The people who are talking, these agents of envy, are the greediest people you will ever meet. We have to lose the fear of defending success. No one's gonna make me feel guilty for being rich because I've been poor. I've been poor. I've been rich. I like being rich. I want you to be rich. I want you to be really rich. Richer than me. But I don't want you to take it from me. I don't want you to cheat. I don't want you to Steal. I want you to work hard for it. Work hard the way I did and then you're really gonna like it. And do not listen to these agents of envy. Our defense against them has always been handicapped by fear. There's nothing worse than a wealthy person who has worth five decades to get there will just sit there and take arrogant, self indulgent attacks from some failed 27 year old who took a class, who's never done anything in their life telling you you're greedy. Screw you. There is no stigma to success. I don't know where we got this idea that you have to feel guilty about being rich. It's so funny you pointed this out before. Used to be the millionaires. Now because they all became millionaires, including Bernie Sanders, they talk about billionaires. What is there, like 2,000 of them? 4,000 of them? This is so stupid. There is. There's only been one way to increase economic. I mean, to lift people out of poverty. And it ain't taxes. It's never been taxes. It's been economic growth. Raises your overall income, increases productivity, jobs, and lowers the cost of goods. Who gets the ball rolling in that? Jeff Bezos, these wealthy mofos, they're the ones that put out the money that get the ball rolling. Economic growth caused the largest reduction in poverty in history. It wasn't taxes, it wasn't equity or social justice, which is a lie, a complete lie. Anytime the government intervenes in an industry, that industry gets worse. Sure, health care wasn't perfect before Obamacare. Oh, but you wish you could go back to those days, don't you? Don't you?
Kayleigh McEnany
Anyway, it's interesting to have to watch.
Jessica Tarlov
That was great.
Kayleigh McEnany
Young mayors of Seattle and Washington and New York City, the on the job training that is. They run out of other people's money faster than they thought. Coming up next, Democrats just released another social media video people are calling pure cringe.
Jessica Tarlov
We got too much pride to let that happen again. So this is where it ends. Could Democrats get any more cringe? Well, their top girl bosses just got together for a new campaign video. Watch.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm passing the mic to someone who has spent her career blazing trails for women leaders.
Kayleigh McEnany
I'm passing the mic to someone who secured free school meals for all New York students.
Unknown Female Speaker (possibly a guest or contributor)
I'm passing the mic to someone who always stands up to Trump's attacks and
Kayleigh McEnany
calls out his bs.
Juan Williams
That's all of us.
Jessica Tarlov
And I'm passing the mic to someone who can't reach the top shelf in the kitchen.
Dana Perino
Gigi, see who they didn't pass the mic to Michelle. That was a total, total.
Juan Williams
That was test, James.
Dana Perino
I know.
Juan Williams
Oh, okay.
Dana Perino
Michelle wasn't there. What are you trying to say anyway?
Jessica Tarlov
Nice try again.
Dana Perino
No, I have to ask. Why don't you have any friends or a husband who isn't terrified of you? Before I go out and do anything, I have to pass the gauntlet of my wife to keep me from being an embarrassment. She looks at what I wear. She tells me. What are you gonna say? No one says anything to them. It's an insult to them. We can't be honest with you and tell you that this sucks because you're too fragile.
Jessica Tarlov
So you're saying women have too much freedom?
Dana Perino
That's exactly what I say.
Jessica Tarlov
That's what I took out of it. Dana, am I wrong? Tell me I'm wrong.
Kayleigh McEnany
I just think. I mean, I'll tell you this. I think the social media doesn't bother me.
Jessica Tarlov
No.
Kayleigh McEnany
Because I don't really care. No. They can do whatever they want. But I do think it's interesting. It's like weird social media videos when you're like, you lost to him twice. So, I don't know, maybe put this energy into something else.
Jessica Tarlov
What is this thing where they hold that little mic? Is that a thing? What is that?
Juan Williams
Yeah, a lot of people use a little mic.
Jessica Tarlov
Yeah.
Juan Williams
Especially if they're, like, out on the road.
Kayleigh McEnany
Keela used to use one for you.
Jessica Tarlov
Oh, yeah, that's right.
Juan Williams
Okay, so you know exactly what it is. Kathy Hochul is running for reelection. They're supporting her. All of this makes sense. Talking about accomplishments, free school, meals. I. When I saw the rundown, I thought it was going to be way worse than this. That they'd be, like, singing or something. I don't think it's bad at all. It's successful New York politicians.
Jessica Tarlov
They're pushing free stuff. Is that what they're pushing?
Greg Gutfeld
This is so stale. It's so old. I mean, take a cue from Spencer Pratt, who's like, the fairy godmother blasting feces off the street. Like, that's the new way of politics. So old. And like, if this is all you guys have going into 2028, like, we have J.D. vance and Marco Rubio. Let me blow your mind. We could have Don Jr. You never know. I hate to trigger you, Jessica, but this is what you got.
Ryan Reynolds
Wow.
Jessica Tarlov
Don't tempt me with a good time, Don Jr. I like that.
Greg Gutfeld
You never know.
Jessica Tarlov
Throw that name in the mix. About that Jessica. Maybe Baron. Coming up next, the ladies are giving up on dad. Bods.
Unknown Female Speaker (possibly a guest or contributor)

The girls are going to be bad news for dad bods. A new survey suggests women are leaning more towards fitter, more athletic builds with 15% body fat over their beer belly brethren. Greg, this is fake. Women always liked better.
Dana Perino
This is summer news, everybody. It's where they have a big garbage bag and they throw in a bunch of words and they pull it and they put, dad Bod is dead. And then two months later, dad bod is back. The fact is, your life isn't so bad if this is your problem. Do you notice, like, Hakeem, he's not letting the apocalypse get in the way of his workouts. He's in pretty good shape. So this is all just bs. What is with these stupid summer stories?
Juan Williams
It's summer.
Kayleigh McEnany
It's like digital Doritos, right? It's like you scroll on it, you click on it. Become like a topic on the five. Yum.
Dana Perino
What about mom Bod? We never talk about not talking about.
Jessica Tarlov
Don't talk about it.
Dana Perino
Guys are done with mom bod.
Jessica Tarlov
Don't say mom. But that's worse than saying the Jews.
Juan Williams
This is what I'm talking about. Stop.
Jessica Tarlov
Okay, fine.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes. When were dad bods ever hot? Like, no one wants squishy and warm and fuzzy story from last summer, right? Okay, well, no woman wants squishy. Just like, let me throw that out there. No one wants a squish.
Juan Williams
Like, part of aging with someone is you're. You're not like, looking at them the same way.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, but that's the heart and the full. But, like, all the single women out there are looking for, like, squish.
Juan Williams
Yes. Yeah. If you are shopping around for the first time. Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
You don't want squish unless he has
Jessica Tarlov
a great heart or money.
Juan Williams
Or he's really funny. One more thing's up next.
Jessica Tarlov
There you go.
Dana Perino
Gotta have one more thing.
Graham Platner
Gene.
Kayleigh McEnany
We all want to wish a hearty congratulations to our colleague, Joey Jones. So Joey Jones just reenlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve during a ceremony at the Pentagon today. He originally enlisted right after high school. He served as a bomb technician for eight years. And during his last deployment to Afghanistan in 2010, he was responsible for disarming more than 80 IEDs. He will be incredible for recruitment. And what a patriot. Congrats, Joey.
Jessica Tarlov
Congratulations.
Dana Perino
Awesome. All right, tonight we have Brianna Lyman, Paul Morrow, Count Tom Slew, Tyrus. And if you want to check out my dates, go to G gutfeld.com I'll be in Frisco, Texas, Charlotte, North Carolina, Las Vegas, Nevada and Clarksville, Tennessee. I'm going to keep my Greg sexy Anteater News for tomorrow.
Jessica Tarlov
I can't wait. Tonight, primetime, we have Adam Carolla, Katrina Campens and the Stephen Miller.
Juan Williams
Oh, your sexual matador.
Jessica Tarlov
I know Jessica will be watching closely.
Dana Perino
Look how tan he is compared to the others. Is that it? Jessica, you have time for your. For whatever it is.
Juan Williams
Okay, 10 seconds. Whatever. Do you have anything?
Greg Gutfeld
A small alligator was eaten by a big alligator. So cannibal alligators.
Juan Williams
All right.
Dana Perino
I should have done the Anteater News. Listen to the 5ad free on Amazon Music with your prime membership or subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
This episode of "The Five" focuses on high-stakes political battles following major Republican primary victories, with a sharp spotlight on House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries' combative rhetoric against "MAGA extremists." The panel debates accusations of redistricting racism, the ethics and efficacy of athletic boycotts led by the NAACP and Congressional Black Caucus, the growing problem of anti-Semitism in US politics, and the cultural fixation on taxing billionaires. The show wraps up with lighter fare on "dad bods" and honors a colleague’s military service.
"The thing about Hakeem Jeffries, Kaylee, he's like a guy who drinks poison thinking it's going to kill his enemy... There's nothing positive or persuasive about what's coming out of his mouth. Breaking your spirit. Yeah, it's a very kind of, like, strange thing to say." – Dana Perino (04:40)
"I want to get rich, and I don't care that you are poorer. So that's what last night told me." – Jessica Tarlov, on Trump’s perceived platform (09:44)
This episode illustrates "The Five's" style: heated debate, sharp one-liners, and a mix of policy critique with pop-culture-flavored commentary—all done in their trademark spirited, bantering style.
