But Hong will have to win without the socialist secret sauce. Both Bernie and AOC are refusing an endorsement, but Hong is not deterred. She's got other worries.

What would you want them to know? No, this is a state where we still have a 233 tip minimum wage and 725. 725 minimum wage at the. I think it's going to be pretty hard to turn that into socialism soon. But what we can do with this campaign is make sure that we're fighting for the policies that working class people first. Hong is also getting snubbed by far left darling Hasan Piker for a final rally push despite her cozying up to the 911 apologist last week. And speaking of piker, Joe Scarborough finally found his spine calling out DSA Dems for cozying up to the Wingnet streamer.

This is about the Democrats once again fumbling the football on the two yard line when they have a chance to make great gains. But being so woke. I don't know if you want to call it woke one, woke two, or woke three, but being too woke to call out the obvious. I swear to God, it's really, it's crazy that we're even having this conversation. So, Greg, I'm covered in spit. How did he do that? Oh my goodness. You know what's amazing about Joe Scarborough? He's always the last guy to say the obvious thing, so he has to say it the loudest. It becomes this big screen like he's some suddenly discovered something. You know, he has a show. He could have discussed wokeism any number of times. He could have called out the party's embrace of, of identity over meritocracy. We've Been doing it for years, but he's like the guy that shows up to help you move apartments after the furniture has already been unpacked and carried up the stairs. He's just there to eat the pizza. We did it without him, and we'll continue to do it without him. He's been doing this forever and it doesn't matter. It's actually just pure performative. Sandra, you know, there's a myth that the left and right positions on, on these issues are symmetrical. And I think the DSA is showing that they're not, for example, having a police force and not having a police force. That is not symmetrical. The second opinion actually exits the argument. Think about the border having a border, not having a border. That is not symmetrical. One operates in the logic of a nation state, the other one deserts it. The same thing with biology. We were in biology. They exited biology, economics. We have a free market. They had to develop an entire party called the Socialist Party in order to, to fight the idea of free markets. Private property. We know what private property is. They act like it doesn't exist. So it's not. It's no longer a debate over goals. It's a debate over how, how a system survives. You know, imagine if Fox announces that, like, they're going to hire Francesca Hong Kong to be a panelist on the Five, perhaps to replace Jesse. Of course, there would be great outcry, but no one is going to die.

That's how it is. That's not the same with governor, you know, Wisconsin governor. It used to be a job where it is valued as highly important to the Wisconsin citizens. Now, just like a lot of jobs, it became hugely valuable to, to the person getting it and the group that she represents. It's. It somehow becomes like an award that you give to somebody. It's no longer. No, we should actually think about the people first. And when you consider American governors, Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Carter, they all became presidents. You look at her and you go, man, that is shrinkflation. A degradation of quality at the same cost. I wouldn't trust her to be my dog walker. And voters willing to, to hand over control of a $60 billion budget. State operations, prisons, transportation, education. You vote for her, you're nuttier than her, and she's nuttier than a squirrel's diarrhea.

So, Sandra, do you think, is it a sign that since AOC and Bernie are withholding the, their endorsements of her. Is there some demarcation we can look forward to in the Democrat Party or is it just they're staying quiet and then if she wins, they'll fold in?

It's really special that Bernie Sanders and AOC can't warm up to Hong. But I think there's a wake up call here. How in the world are Republicans letting Democrats, far left, radical socialist Democrats own the affordability thing? Own that. Prices are up because of Donald Trump. You know, yesterday we were having this discussion and I was mad at myself that I couldn't just present these facts. Trump handed after his first term Biden gas prices at $2.39. He ran those prices up to a record $5 a gallon at the pump. Where were these people then? Okay, now they want those policies back in more Biden. Trump then handed off $2.81 a gallon. Biden handed off $3.10. Trump brought it back down in his second term to $2.80 a gallon. It's back up near four. Okay, so that's where Democrats are saying they're crying, your gas prices are out. You're back. This is while we're in the middle of the war ensuring that Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons. So they're not endorsing her for many reasons because her, her policies in many cases have gone so far left. And Bernie Sanders happens to like turkey at Thanksgiving. But for Republicans to not own the affordability problem that Americans are suffering right now is a problem. They need to acknowledge that that happened and that happened under the last presidency. But now we've got to own it. We've got to bring, you know what she's talking to those voters about right now in their front yards. She's talking about state guaranteed paid leave. She's talking about raising the minimum wage to $20 an hour. Do you know what that's going to do to small businesses? How many people that going to put out of work? A one year moratorium on new AI data center construction. She wants to raise income taxes on couples making just over $400,000 a year. So these are the solutions she's offering at a very sensitive time for this affordability moment. But Republicans beware, don't let them keep owning this affordability message when the numbers clearly show these prices ran up under the last administration and the onus is on Republicans to get them back down come midterm elections.

It's a great point. So do you think, Brian, that the Republicans will be able to harness that messaging in time for the generals of all these.

Well, right now we're watching Big Brother. We're watching a fight going on within the family, the Democratic family. And then we're going to see what Tom Tiffany in Wisconsin is going to do to hold on to that, to try to flip the seat back to first Republican governor since Scott Walker. But Scott Walker said something interesting. Hey, Republicans, you can vote in this primary, do not push this woman because she could actually win. And if she wins, we're all doomed. And it's not a game anymore. Because remember when she came out and tried to justify what she said, I had some hot takes that went awry. And then she blamed sportscasters. You see, I was a sportscaster. I want to be a sportscaster. I used to use some hot takes. But she goes, I shouldn't have let my feelings out. So she didn't say, I've changed, which I wouldn't believe anyway. She said, I shouldn't have said it. I shouldn't have tweeted it.

But she still stands for abolishing the police. She still stands for abolishing prisons. She still stands for abolishing the U.S. senate. And the criticism of Thanksgiving is, I'm sorry I said it out loud and it seemed to have bored her son. Did you see how he yawned when his mom's talking? That's one thing when your mom yawns for governor. We've always said this. Don't bring your son out if he's tired, because I am totally, I'm thrilled by the fact that he is so bored of this campaigning. But I think the guy that's on the docket right now, and Harold, I'll see if you agree with me is Hasan Piker. Because all those people left his side, her side. You know, so Bernie Sanders left aoc, left all the famous socialists. I'm not, I'm not campaigning with them. The only person still standing there is Hasan Piker. So if she blows a double digit lead in the end, when in today's primary results, which coming in in a few hours, it's going to be his fault. Harold, do you agree with everything I said?

It's good to be with you. I think a couple things. I hope that voters in Wisconsin Democrats do not support Ms. Hong to be the, to be the Democratic standard bearer and a nominee for governor. I'm a believer that not only is electability important, but you have to be able to govern. We live in an era and a time increasingly where both sides are electing people who excite their sides the most. And we forget that you're elected to office to try to not only reach across the aisle, but reach within your own party to try to solve things. One of the reasons that President Trump didn't get all the things he wanted over the last several days and few weeks in Washington was because a lot of Republicans didn't vote for him. The SAVE act, the Clarity act, things that the president really, really wanted. I don't see how those things help lower prices. I'll come back to Sanders point in a minute. But he's having problems within his own party. So I think Democrats, Republicans alike, and I'll focus on Democrats. You got to elect people who not only can excite the 20, 30% of the party base, but who can actually help govern and lower prices, who can help develop better outcomes and solutions overseas, who can help get better outcomes in our schools. And you have to be able to work across the aisle to do that. The last time we worked across the aisle on education, I was in Congress, George W. Bush. Dana was in administration at the time working for him. He passed the no Child Left behind act and you had Democrats, Republicans alike working on that. So you have to figure out ways in which to work together. 2 I think it's going to be hard. Sandra, I think you make some interesting points. I don't agree with many of them, but you make interesting points about how you can blame the I hope Republicans actually take on the affordability issue, not because of the reasons that you've enumerated, but because I think again, it's better if both sides are acknowledging it's a problem. Now we can acknowledge we can figure out where the source is. I'm glad Abe Lincoln didn't blame George Washington for the Civil War. When you get elected president, you have a responsibility. President Trump made a lot of promises before he was elected, including the lower prices, including the end of war in Ukraine and not get us in never ending wars. And things happen, things unfold. I think the answer for Democrats around the war is we've got to reassert and reestablish and reconstitute and strengthen our relationships with NATO. Because the only way we're going to get out of this, and it's another conversation with this Iranian thing, is we have to have friends and allies in which to do it. Finally, I'd do two things if I were Democrats on the crisis, Andrew. I'd say take back every tariff unless it's a tariff protecting a US industry. Don't tax the first 75,000 DOL federal tax of anybody's income in this country, if you work 40 hours a week, you get reduced to free 40 or more. You 50 hours a week, you get free child care. And four, stop the name calling both sides. That's what I would do if I were running for office today. And that's what if I were Democrats, what I'd be talking about, particularly in these federal races. And again, I end where I started. I don't want to see Ms. Hong be the nominee in Wisconsin because it's unclear to me that she can work across the aisle and get things done.

We know that to be a fact. We should all cheer on the safety of our President and we should allow the security and the Secret Service to do everything that they have to do to ensure the President's safety. It reminds me a little bit of Taylor Swift in the middle of the ERAS tour when she was going to the Chiefs game. Do you remember when they were sneaking her out in the popcorn cart? Twice. They did it again.

Harold, can you work Taylor Swift into your answer about a deadly serious topic that Sandra apparently doesn't care about?

Well, first of all, I give the Secret Service tremendous credit. This kind of a James Bond effort to ensure that the President safety was guaranteed. We give them credit. But I do understand why if you were left on that plane, you would be upset. There probably needs to be a better protocol because you just don't, you don't put. Even if you don't like reporters, you don't like the people, you don't leave them on a plane like that. I think that's, that's a concern, a legitimate concern. And maybe they can take, take that up. But Brian, I think raises the equally important point. This is about Iran. We have lost a lot of leverage with Iran. We need to admit that to the points that Sandra and Brian were making. We were told we had decimated so much of their abilities. How then could they, if we decimated all of these abilities, how then could they shoot down the flying White House if they didn't have some capabilities left? I think Brian is right. I think the economic squeeze has to be put on. But we in the country, and we've been saying this on this show now for many weeks, we have to make a determination about two things. One, what is it that we want? We've said regime change. We've said ballistic missile incapacitate that ability. Incapacitate their ability or excuse me, capacity. Their ability to provide money to proxies and for the nuclear. And then finally the thing that we really want. We should all be clear about. If we got it today would be the opening of the Straits of Hormuz, then everything would be be on a level. If once the president makes that determination, then I think you can organize a strategy around trying to execute. But if you're. Every day it's a multiple choice of what you want. It's very difficult. Now remind everybody the President just a few days ago said that we will level the place and then just a few days since, he said we shall see what happens. That's the kind of objective and strategy and execution you can't have if you're going to squeeze economically. Robberies 16.6. Rapes declined over 6% and aggravated assaults down 5.7%. So here's the question. What happens to public safety if the DSA gets more power? Well, one leader was just pressed on their calls to abolish police and prisons. And it was Dodge City.

If my daughter is assaulted and raped, is there any agency that would seek to find her assailant and bring him to justice?

What would it be if not police? And where would he be if not a jail?

So I guess I really, I really want to Avoid getting kind of caught into these hypotheticals. We're spending absolutely outrageous amounts of money on police and policing, and we're not spending money on things that actually make people safe and feel safe, which is things like actually well lit streets.

They don't deserve, they don't belong in primetime. They're a fringe group that found its way into. They found its way into Center Stage. They're on Broadway right now, and they don't even belong on off Broadway. They don't have, they haven't even thought through their beliefs, but their beliefs tool totally change the country. They make you laugh out loud if they weren't so serious. But now they have a group and now they're 150,000. Now they're getting their financing. I'd love to see a big investigation how they're doing it. But the bottom line is on the subplot of this is the crime stats are down across the country. A lot has to do with what's coming, I think, from the White House police matter. I got your back. Take pride in the uniform and the recruitings up in the military, as well as the men and women in blue.

And Harold, we know, according to the DSA platform and Playbook, that if that was an illegal migrant that committed that heinous crime, raping a woman, that they, they don't believe in deportations either, that that person would stay in the country. So do you think she went home and thought it through? And what do you think the answer is? You know, send a social worker and, you know, tell him it was not a good idea and send him home to his family.

I know this. We shouldn't, we shouldn't nominate them to be the standard bearers in the Democratic Party. I'm against all the things that they are. No prisons, defunding the Police, no ice, no border, no borderlines. These are just, these aren't even Democrats. I've tried to say we shouldn't even respond to this nonsense as being a part of our party. These are people who are winning elections, right, but they're winning some nominations tonight. But I don't consider. I've been a Democrat. I'm 56 years old. I've been a Democrat all of my life. I was born a Democrat. I was learning it the old fashioned way. I was told to be a Democrat by my family. Then I learned what it meant to be one, and I continue to be one. These people aren't Democrats. Let me just get to the issue of the crime. I think this is great. Regardless of your political party, you have to applaud governors and mayors who are on the front line day in and day out of the, of appointing the right people, of funding our police forces, of training our police forces and ensuring that our prisons are able to take prisoners. Now, we've had over the, we argued on this show and Greg was probably the loudest and most constructive over the last two years to make sure that we got past all this Cassius Bail nonsense. I understood the instinct and the impulse early on saying people committing crimes that even if they were convicted, they wouldn't stay in jail as long as they were staying as they were waiting for their trial. But we learned it. These mayors and some judges, some governors and some DAs were just letting any and everybody out in the street. And we learned that there was such a small population, Greg, of people committing these heinous and violent crimes, we knew how to deal with this. So I give mayors and governors a lot of credit. Democrats in the country. I will say to my Democrats first, if you nominate around the country, DSA candidates who answer like that young lady did in Los Angeles, a very basic, not hostile question, but a simple, straightforward question. What happens if my daughter is raped? Whom do I call and where will they be if they get convicted? And her answer was, I'm not going to answer a hypothetical. She's not a Democrat. I don't know what she is. I'm going to give her. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt because I'm my faith. But she should not be in elected office and we should not be nominating these people under our party banner.

A well lit street did not save Sarah Gilson who we all saw shot yesterday after she said out loud that her husband was a pedophile. But you know what would have saved actually Securing the restraining order that was on the books for him. It would not have helped the sweet elderly woman I sat next to at dinner who talked about getting punched in the face here in New York with by a guy that put glass in his fist so he shredded her face open. Well lit street would not have happened. That would have been whether we commit the mentally ill in this city. It doesn't help that this month when a seven year old child was beaten and tortured to death by his trans parents that the mainstream media called women. The whole point is the well lit street does not save anything. What does help is the spokes of the criminal justice wheel actually working. We have seen the Democrats totally. I don't know, what do you call when it castrate the district attorneys? They are no longer DAs. Right? When you start to take away the important and crucial pieces of the criminal justice wheel, then it stops working. So now they are trying to take away law enforcement and all of them have caricaturized what law enforcement means. They think it's all Officer Krupke. The reality is that law enforcement is cold cases and missing peoples and it's all of the inter collateral agencies like FBI Tech that just saved a 6 month old and a 16 year old endangered children in 24 hours. Those aren't the stories you hear about because these guys are too busy painting everything as a portrait.

It's always a left wing chick though. Left wing chicks are more dangerous to women than the criminals that prey upon them. Because it's the left wing chicks that let those people out, let those people roam, let them have no bail because, you know, ooh, race. Look, I want to talk about the decline in these crime stats because it is good news in the sense that we finally emerged from the post. George Floyd. Hell no. Thanks to the history, the hysteria directed at cops, we saw a 40% drop in police stops and arrests for obvious reasons, and that led to a homicide spike of 54%. So now actual police has rebounded because we realized, we didn't realize, we knew it was necessary, but the people that hated them realized they needed them in their neighborhood. Arrests went up almost 40%. Homicides dropped 32%. Add to that, we're replacing progressive prosecutors with tougher days. Where did those progressive prosecutors come from? You know where they came. So the take home is this. There was so much unnecessary, avoidable death created by a cowardly agenda driven media and politicians who were cowed by BLM activists. Do you want to go back to that? Because if you want, if you elect these people, you're going to have 2021 all over again. And believe me, you know, I have. I'm, you know, in my early 30s. Still the worst year that I've ever experienced on this planet. And that includes that time I went away to camp with Kill Mead.
