Jesse Waters
Hello everybody. I'm Jesse Waters along with Emily Compagno, Harold Ford Jr. Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City and this is the five. Democrat voters are out for blood. And it looks like radicals are happy to deliver two separate ICE facilities ambushed just three days apart. We just got the mugshots from one of the attacks. 10 suspects charged with attempted murder. The feds say they showed up in black military style gear and were armed to the teeth. The plan set off fireworks to lure agents out of the building so they could slaughter them. One police officer took a bullet to the neck but survived. And sadly, this is exactly the kind of bloodlust Democrat voters are demanding. House Democrat lawmakers telling Axios how their voters want to see someone get shot while resisting Trump. Quote, our own base is telling us that we're not doing good enough and that there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public. Some progressives are trying to satisfy the mob. This lawmaker thinks it's inspiring to block ice.
Emily Compagno
Some of the most inspiring things have been when people encircle courtrooms and refuse to allow ICE agents in. There are all kinds of non violent.
Dana Perino
Resistance tactics that we have to use. And I've started something called Resistance Lab. It's a training on really the documented, most effective ways to counter Democratic backsliding.
Emily Compagno
Nonviolent resistance tactics to build that movement.
Jesse Waters
But Tom Homan warns it's only a matter of time before an ICE agent pays with their life.
Harold Ford Jr.
These nuts that want to take it beyond protest into criminal activity, they're getting rhetoric from the members of Congress, senators who compare ICE to the Nazis, and Congressman Jay Paul compared the terrorist organizations. So these people, these fringe groups feel emboldened. If a member of Congress can attack.
Greg Gutfeld
Ice, why can't we?
Jesse Waters
Dana, as a Democrat, how would you handle when a good chunk of your base wants blood?
Dana Perino
I think I would forcefully push back and I would advocate for strong enforcement measures like prosecution for attempted murder. If you look at those people, most of them are young and their lives are pretty much ruined. You got a mug shot. It's going to be very, very hard for them to recover from this. I'm sure Their parents are not proud in any way. And you think about how they must have gotten lured in. I was just talking to Greg because I was trying to remember years ago, Rosie o' Donnell encouraged Reality Winter to break the law, right? And encouraged, like when she, when she leaked all those documents, they, they developed this bond of support, like, well, where, where, what happened to reality winner, right? Who, who had to pay the law bill, the legal bills. When you are in a position of responsibility and you're advising younger people who might be ignorant of the situation, or maybe they have no morals or no character, then that's on you. And if you don't want to be tagged with them, then that's again on you. I said something this morning I like to repeat because when I was thinking about this with these people, what they want is political suicide by cop. They want to be shot so that they can get attention. Well, President Trump was actually shot and it wasn't for a political stunt. And we're coming up on that anniversary. And I think that the left has a real problem with political violence. And these folks are going to hopefully be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law because they didn't commit this crime in Philly or New York or Los Angeles where it might get blown over. They're going to be prosecuted in Texas and that will be different.
Jesse Waters
Not a beauty contest. Greg, when you look at these mug.
Greg Gutfeld
Shots, how dare you objectify these beautiful men? Because I think there are a few of those are men in there, but they identify as female. Why is there always a high percentage of trans in either antifa or any of these violent activities? When you look into it, somebody always is trans and it's because they're not women. Women do not participate in these highly violent, testosterone laden activities. They're just thugs, male thugs. And you grow out your hair, you're still a thug. You know what's interesting about this is I grew up watching a lot of movies and there was always a stereotype that it's this right wing white guy with a shotgun and a trucker hat. That's what we're supposed. The stereotype of the right is well armed, rabidly prone to violence. But in reality, it's always the left who projects this stereotype onto us. They are, the right may have guns, they have definitely more guns and they may know how to use them, but they don't see it as an acceptable means to further your political aims. So why does the left do that? Because if you see the world through the prism of oppressed Versus oppressor. There are no limits when fighting the oppressor. You can do anything. Remember, when you're fighting Hitler, that is Trump. Everything was on the table. So the left isn't good at violence. They just love violence because to them it's just another tool in their little toolkit to win. Remember January 6th? Amazingly, I know this is crazy. The only unarmed insurrection ever, the only gun used was on a female unarmed protester by a liberal cop.
Jesse Waters
And they called that cop a hero.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, exactly. Where are all the Dems right Now who called January 6th worse than 9? 11? You're having insurrections now every day. People are actually going out of their way with weapons to hurt people. Imagine you're an enemy of America. You must be thrilled with your 10 year plan. You've already got the border demonized, you instigated a mass invasion, and now you're getting citizens to attack their own government. The only difference is it's not an external enemy. The enemy is within. And they use the principles of the very country to destroy it. I am the victim. I am the oppressed. Therefore I am justified to attack this country. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Harold.
Jesse Waters
Emily, the sophistication here, it's a little different than what we usually see from an tifa. Usually it's fireworks or they're throwing rocks. But, you know, they've planned this, They've obviously trained. This was premeditated. There is weaponry here that usually don't associate with antifa. Is this like more of a domestic terror situation?
Emily Compagno
It looks like that because look, there's 10 people on that screen. Among them, they had 12 sets of body armor. They had like shortwave two way radios. I mean, you're absolutely right that there was a massive amount of resources and organization behind them. And I'm sure there's like 20 genders among them too. But it's not just someone who feels so deeply and passionate about something. They just have to go down, you know, to the town square and make a sign and have their voice be heard. That is not this. This is a deliberate fomentation of violence. And I just, every time I see those mugshots, I just think to myself what a luxury it is to be them. And you know, Dana, you mentioned their lives are ruined after this. I argue their lives were ruined before from whatever Kool Aid they drank on X or whatever ridiculous Facebook site they're on, or whoever told them that they should be a different gender and have a different color hair, because clearly they've never conformed to any type of rational thinking whatsoever. And you know, one of the lawmakers, as they were sort of digging into this call for violence, he compared the voters to the Roman Coliseum. I'm like, yes, that's exactly what this is. This is 100% Gladiator where you have the people in charge that are egging them on. You have lawmakers like Hakeem Jeffries and Jasmine Crockett and Maxine Waters who think that words don't carry weight, who think that it is okay for an elected official to call for violence against elected officials and law enforcement and that they're not going to have accountability. And then you have all of the rabid things, fans who are watching a tiger eat a man or a lion get butchered and ripped apart and are just shouting with glee because they don't know pain. All of these people saying it's time for us to get shot do not know pain. All these people say, let's get arrested. You do not know what it is like to be incarcerated. All of these Upper east side blue haired individuals know nothing about the real world that law enforcement agents are, are protecting and serving. And it reminds me of, remember that white guy that was blocking the African American woman from going to work and it turns out that he was one of the ones that sued NYPD and got a real fat payout because they laid a hand on him during the Black Lives Matter protest. Right. We saw those ones in Burning man tying themselves to the road and when the law enforcement came and dragged them off, they were screaming and crying.
Dana Perino
He touched me, he grabbed me like.
Emily Compagno
The instant that they are met with accountability, they absolutely fail and will. But it is incumbent on those elected officials to tone down rhetoric because those egging on, they are aiding and abetting and they will have consequences.
Jesse Waters
Harold, it's good to have you back around the table. Do you think that the media and Democrat leaders in the House and the Senate bear any responsibility for some of these people?
Harold Ford Jr.
People in public? Thanks for being glad to have me back. I'm glad to be back. You're welcome.
Jesse Waters
Harold.
Harold Ford Jr.
There's too much of this talk in politics and anybody, anyone that acts on this talk or acts because they heard someone else talk and you harm an elected official, you harm a law enforcement official. I'm a believer that the penalties should be much harsher. I did push back a little bit on everybody around the table about this being a Democrat thing we unfortunately had to deal with, we dealt with in Minnesota, the tragedies there last week and I didn't inquire about the politics. But I learned that the person who might have done it might have had different politics than the people that he went after. All that being said, it is unfortunate that hate and violence in our country is bipartisan. It's also unfortunate and true. We have too much of it. And if it's Democrats doing it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, they should be condemned. If it's Republicans doing it only on Friday, they should be condemned. I think every politician has to take a step back and realize that even when you mean it and even when you say it and mean it only in jester, you mean it only a third or a quarter or only to get a reaction from the crowd. Some people don't take it that way. Some people take it far more harshly and seriously. Now to ice, I agree with Tom Holman there. Anybody, any elected official or law enforcement official looking to block or impede ICE from doing their job should be held accountable. I'll say to Mr. Homan, I also hope that the first thing he said when he got this job is that he was going to hold the worst, go after the worst first. It's important to note of the deportations that we've had so far, only 6% of them have been hardened criminals. You even have.
Jesse Waters
Are you sure about that?
Emily Compagno
That's a woefully inadequate percentage, respectfully.
Harold Ford Jr.
Okay, well, let's look at the facts. We can woefully talk about what the facts are, but only 6% of hardened. Only 6% of deportations have been hardened criminals. We can fact check it in the. We will.
Jesse Waters
We will.
Greg Gutfeld
What a guarantee. We'll figure out what your definition is. If it's 6% of killers. That's amazing. That's like still 6%.
Harold Ford Jr.
No, no, no, hear me out. But of the people they have deported, only 6%. No, I agree with you. Any one of them. If we only got one near thousand. I don't disagree with that. My point is I want to. This debate is going on in the administration. President Trump has had members of his cabinet say that maybe we shouldn't be deporting agriculture workers and others so quickly. They came back and said, we're going to continue to do that. The challenge we have right now as it relates to ICE is the hierarchy of deportations. We need an immigration bill that gives them not only the resources from the big beautiful bill, but give them new rules and protocols that are tougher when people coming to the country and ensuring that when you get here, if there indeed is a path to citizenship, we allow people to do that. But let me be clear. Anyone that attacks an ICE agent needs to be held to the full account of the law.
Jesse Waters
Thank you, Harold. It would be easier to get the hardened criminals out if you guys would cooperate in your cities.
Emily Compagno
Over 76% though, had convictions.
Harold Ford Jr.
Hardened criminals though.
Jesse Waters
Okay, we're going to fact check you in the brick. I can't wait. Up next, President Trump holds a big beautiful cabinet meeting and snags Marco's clock.

President Trump holding a big beautiful cabinet meeting. And he had plenty to gloat about. Watch here.
Unknown Speaker
They gave us no credit during this last little. The great big beautiful bill. I always use the word great. Democrats didn't vote at all. Not one positive vote with all of the good things in there. They went skedaddled. You know the word skedaddle? I mean skedaddled. They dropped the bombs and they. Somebody said skedaddle. Let's get the hell out of here. What we've done in this country in the last six months, nobody has ever seen it. We're right now riding the hottest country. We all and you can all be proud of it.
Dana Perino
And he's not just rearranging policy, he's rearranging the furniture too.
Unknown Speaker
I'm in. Marcos. I see this gorgeous clock, grandfather clock. I'd love to take that clock out and put it in the cabin. He said, no. Are you serious? I said, marco, I have the right to do it. Marco, I love the frame of those pictures. Look at those frames. You know, I'm a frame person. Then we got the drapes. So we got the whole thing. We got new drapes here. We put on. You know, these. These lamps have been very important actually, whether people love them or not. We got some. Some beautiful medallions, and you see them, they were put up there, makes the lamps looks better. So we have the flags throughout the office, and it's really become quite a beautiful place.
Dana Perino
But back to the winds. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu surprising President Trump at dinner last night by revealing he's nominated him for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Greg Gutfeld
I want to present to you, Mr.
Harold Ford Jr.
President, the letter I sent to the Nobel Prize Committee.
Greg Gutfeld
It's nominating you for the Peace Prize.
Unknown Speaker
Which is well deserved, and you should get it.
Thank you very much. This I didn't know.
Dana Perino
So it was quite a day there. Jesse Waters, what do you think of all that?
Jesse Waters
Is there anything else you want to.
Dana Perino
Add about Harold's comment? Yeah, fact check. Fact check. Okay. I'm sorry, Harold.
Jesse Waters
I'm not if this is how we're.
Harold Ford Jr.
Going to start doing it.
Jesse Waters
Get ready, get ready, because I'm going.
Harold Ford Jr.
To blast everybody at the table with your comments.
Dana Perino
I just want everyone to know that I was nominated to be this person because I typically won. But Bill Melusion was on top of things. As he said, Harold's 6% number is for convicted murderers only who have been deported. And about 70% of convictions have pending charges for everything. Murder, sex crimes, violent assaults, DUIs, domestic violence, et cetera. I said, oh, poor Harold. And he said, he's great, but don't listen to the. Don't listen to the wrong people, Harold. Ha ha. Anyway, that was it.
Harold Ford Jr.
I just want everybody to know we have set a precedent on the 5 for fact checking. I'm do mine, too.
Jesse Waters
You can be my guest.
Dana Perino
But just remember, Harold, that I was nominated to deliver the message. Ok, back to the big, beautiful. Bill, the cabinet meeting, and all the things.
Jesse Waters
Jesse, was that a cabinet meeting or hgtv?
Dana Perino
A little bit of both, you know.
Jesse Waters
Because I felt like I was reading.
Dana Perino
I went away for two hours. I came back, it was still going.
Jesse Waters
I mean, I learned a lot. Like Architectural Digest, which I had a subscription to. Did you guys know that that's what a medallion was? The thing that attaches the light fixture to the ceiling is a medallion. Next dinner party I host at my house, I'm going to point out the medallion in my dining room and just watch people bask in my big, beautiful brain. Is that what we're calling it? No. This cabinet meeting lasted longer than all of Biden's nine cabinet meetings combined. And I do think that Donald Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize more than the green jacket at the Masters. He's almost like campaigning for it like it's an Academy Award. You know how actors and directors like campaign for that. And that's fine. It's good to have goals. But he is bringing people together when these countries fight, he comes in, he's like, ah, break it up, break it up. And then he announces the truth on truth social. And he wants everybody to get along. And then we also want their minerals. Cuz I think we got minerals out of the Congo deal. But the big white whale is Ukraine and Russia. Now the problem is Trump has admitted that Putin's dragging him along and now we're just still sending defensive weapons to the Ukrainians. So we're back to square one. All we got was the minerals. So that, that is really the big ticket item there.
Dana Perino
All right, Harold Ford Jr. Let me give you the floor.
Harold Ford Jr.
So I think we got, we've gotten more than minerals out of the Ukraine, Russia thing. Think about this. We spend a trillion dollars a year roughly in the country on defense. If you look at what President Trump, I think he's exaggerated the number, but he says we've spent $250 billion over three years in Ukraine. That's $250 billion. I'll round it up to 300 out of 3 trillion that we spent in defense. And we've done three things. Number one, we have protected Ukrainians from. Help protect Ukrainians by them fighting themselves from Russia. We've exposed Russia for not having the military that they say that they have. And three, we got NATO now to spend 5% of their GDP on defense. A lot has come out of this. And if we're able to strike a nuclear, excuse me, a rare earth minerals deal with Ukraine where we're able to extract over the next 10, 20 years 3 to 4 trillion dollars of that. We reduce our reliance on China, we strengthen our standing in Europe and we expose Russia and Putin.
Jesse Waters
You're leaving one thing outlet.
Harold Ford Jr.
Let me just finish up.
Jesse Waters
You're leaving out the peace prize.
Harold Ford Jr.
And so, but if he does this, Jesse, I will go over with you because I know you're going to go over. If he gets the peace prize, I'll be the first to clap for him in every which way. You said it well, the Israeli Hamas matter, we need to figure out ways to get those hostages home and get it into it. But it's Ukraine and Russia that will win him if he brings an end to that. That will win him the peace prize. And you know what? He will deserve it if he's able to do it.
Dana Perino
A lot of the Cabinet meeting, Emily, was about the big beautiful bill. And now, now the follow through is the Cabinet's job. The president needs to deal with all the things that have just been mentioned on foreign policy and be the quarterback of this. But now the Cabinet can go out, take the show on the road and try to rebrand the bill, not, not with a different name, but just to make sure people understand what's in it for them in their local media.
Emily Compagno
And that's what it seemed like today was. It was talking about sort of short term accomplishments, but also absolutely. That investment of the long term resources and deliverables. I mean, I thought, there are a few points that I thought in my hundred pages that I thought were really salient. So when Secretary Rollins talked about meeting this morning at the usda, she said with four Cabinet officials and five governors, unprecedented. And she said, because we recognize that farming and farmland is a matter of national security, not just protecting the farmers. And when the president was talking about Administrator Lee Zeldin, he said he's probably the most important guy in the room because he's helping us get all of these permits and all of these deregulation. And they talked about the massive amount that American taxpayers have been paying because they paid for the subsidies and then they paid for the high cost of electricity in the subsidies. That was Energy Secretary Chris Wright. The list went on. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff talking about getting back 10 life hostages and the remains of nine deceased potentially by the end of this week. In addition to a CIS box. It was like every minute history was being made and the American people were being told exactly how their tax dollars were being spent and saved, carrying out their mandate. But my favorite part was when he called Chuck Schumer a Palestinian, the Palestinian senator.
Dana Perino
The Democrats think that they're going to win on talking about tax cuts, but I actually think the Republicans could flip that on them, Greg, and say, actually you voted against a tax cut, so you were for the largest tax increase in history.
Greg Gutfeld
That is a great point, Dana, but that's not what I'm thinking about. I was with Donald Trump on immigration, on peace in the Middle East. I went with him on tariffs. He lost me on the grandfather clock. If it wasn't for game shows giving them as prizes, we would not be dealing with grandfather clocks. No one uses them to tell time. It just depresses rooms when you see a grandfather clock. Have you ever walked into a hotel and there's a grandfather clock and you go, why are we here? It's not good. It's not good. And you can never really tell what time it is. And by the way, so the Nobel Prize. Israel nominates Trump. Yeah, I think the severed head of IDI Amin has a better chance of getting it. Remember, Nobel committee was the original dei. They gave their prize to Obama because he was black. He wasn't even president. But I love what Trump is doing. He's staggering the wins. Like people didn't see that coming with the terrorists, but it's like they're all coming in. So every other day he gets a win and it's a reminder that you have a president, you know, unlike that, whatever that thing was in the White House. What, the auto pen? The auto pen. But we needed Biden's reign of error to as a halftime show to make us desperate for the second half of Trump. And again, when you look at this, there's a lot of stuff to make fun of in meetings like that, but it's because you can see it. That's the transparency versus the COVID up. You see everything, the warts and all. You can laugh about the grandfather clock and him talking about the whatever the things here and there. You can laugh about the Epstein stuff, but at least we see it. We couldn't see how the sausage was made with by Joe Biden because he was the sausage.
Harold Ford Jr.
Greg, if Joe Biden had pointed to a grandfather clock, what would you have said on the 5?
Greg Gutfeld
If.
Harold Ford Jr.
If Joe Biden said, look at that grandfather clock. I like, look at the thing on the roof, you'd have laughed.
Jesse Waters
I would have said, oh, I would. That's what I'm doing.
Harold Ford Jr.
Just you're being consistent.
Greg Gutfeld
But see, Joe Biden would think that's a real grandfather. Look at that wooden man. Was that John Kerry? What's John Kerry doing in here? Oh, Hunter, more coke, please.
Jesse Waters
Does look like John Kerry.
Dana Perino
All right, coming up, the disastrous advice that Joe Biden's own advisors gave and how it cost him the election.
Greg Gutfeld
When you're single again and you're thinking.
Harold Ford Jr.
Of me, you know I got that.
Greg Gutfeld
Same old Tennessee 6 one that listen.

Here we go again. Another explosive book is Exposing. Exposing Biden's doomed bid for a second term. Staffers pushed Biden for an early debate against Trump, thinking it would give him an advantage. According to a leaked campaign memo, quote, the earlier you are able to debate, the better, so that the American people can see you standing next to Trump and showing the strength of your leadership compared to Trump's weakness and chaos. Spoiler alert. It did not.
Unknown Speaker
If we finally beat Medicare, President Trump.
I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence. I don't think he knows what he said either.
Emily Compagno
I mean, Dana, no matter what happened with the strategy and the planning, it fizzled and failed.
Dana Perino
Yeah, I mean, that was the night that I usually take notes during a debate. And at 9:12, I put my pen down. I never took another note. I was like, is it's over and he's going to have to drop out. And then I hope that I was right. Turned out I was. I do think it was all part of the strategy because it was out of desperation. They were really down in the polls. And the worst thing that could ever happen to the Democrats was that Trump could get reelected. And so they basically said, we're going to have to do it. And I also think something that in this new book that's coming out and we'll have Josh Dossey on Newsroom tomorrow morning, maybe talk a little bit more about that, is that the family was really involved. But there is a story in the book that says that Hunter Biden watched the debate from home in Los Angeles and then was shocked that his dad was so bad. And guess what his advice was to his dad, get some sleep. I mean, that's not great advice. And I think that this story continues in addition to all the things that you're seeing on Capitol Hill with the mindset of the American people. Basically, the brand of the Biden team is cover up and failed presidency.
Emily Compagno
And I felt like, Greg, a lot of the revelations weren't new in the way that it wasn't so shocking. But all of this stuff about Obama coming into the White House and being like, this campaign's a mess. Clean it up. And no one listened because it seemed like it was about the Civil War with them saying, this guy's just arrogant and therefore not listening to it, instead of saying, how can we actually grow as a party or succeed as a party?
Greg Gutfeld
Speaking of not listening, did you mention Kamala in the intro?
Dana Perino
It was her intro.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay, good. That is funny, the Kamala thing where she said it's about that you have to support Trump. I mean, support Biden. Cuz it's the survival of our effing democracy.
Emily Compagno
Yes.
Greg Gutfeld
I wasn't listening. I was too busy. My dog comes in at this time.
Emily Compagno
Anyway.
Greg Gutfeld
It shows you that there is nothing off limits if you believe that you're saving the world. That was the reason for branding Trump an existential risk. But the irony is this claim or delusion that democracy was in peril had them put democracy in peril because we didn't have a real president for four years. That memo is so funny because it sounds like it was written for someone with a brain injury. They had to capitalize you to remind Joe that it was about him and that is really sad. So he's like it says you. But I have a bigger question about the way they framed Trump and this existential calamity that was to occur. How's it going? How's the Bruce Springsteen? How's your world going, Chuck? Nancy? Well, Rosie actually moved. At least she put her money where her mouth was and that's a big mouth. But like think about Kimmel Colbert. These are people that said the world was going to end and they seem to be fine. Going back to your point about reality Winner. They pushed these delusions that the world was going to end. They're fine. But what about all those people whose brains are filled with all these delusions? Maybe those are the ones that are out in the street freaking out.
Emily Compagno
Jesse, Dealer's choice.
Jesse Waters
I have been on the show almost 10 years and.
Greg Gutfeld
No you haven't.
Jesse Waters
You've said a lot of things.
Harold Ford Jr.
Almost.
Jesse Waters
My phone has never looked like this. What you said about grandfather clocks has blown my phone up. I can't believe what you said. And the audience is just.
Greg Gutfeld
It's sexist too. Why is it grandfather?
Jesse Waters
Exactly. So Biden needed to do this debate early because he was losing and they thought he would be like the Biden we saw at the State of the Union where they shot him up with a speedball and he yelled at us until midnight. Or they thought Trump was going to be the COVID debate. Trump where he yelled and sweat and it was just bad. And they thought they had leverage cuz Trump had said I'll debate him anytime, anywhere. So they got him to do it on CNN with a muted mic and no audience and then he walks out and bombs and a lot of people suspect that the Team Biden did this on purpose to Joe and knew he was going to blow up and detonated him with enough time to put in Kamala Harris or whoever and pull the switcheroo before the Debates now I don't care cuz it doesn't matter. Trump would have smoked Joe or Kamala. Democrats care because the coup was so ugly and then the Kamala kamikaze was so brutal it exposed the whole cover up in real time. That's still haunting them.
Emily Compagno
It is still haunting them two because we haven't let up the demand for accountability. Howard and so the question is. Howard we are. HOWARD so now we are, we're hauling in and by we mean Congress. We are, we are hauling in Biden's physician that covered it up and told us all was well and all the things and then his attorney says it's unprecedented and alarming that you're hauling him in. But the reality is what was unprecedented and alarming was propping up a crypt keeper president while the rest of America.
Harold Ford Jr.
Felt so nothing new in the book surprises me. There's nothing new in the book surprised me. What my takeaway from the book Emily's is. I don't necessarily disagree with what you said, but my takeaway is a little different. It is very hard for a family member or an advisor to say to a president who is in decline that you should not seek a second term. That will be one of the legacies and that will be one of the things that the family and his senior aides will have to deal with for a very, very long time. It's very hard for some in around Mr. Biden, whom I like personally and have known a long time, to digest the fact that he's most responsible for us losing to Donald Trump. Now, the debate, I understand the calculation. I give them credit for its thing if he comes out early and he has a moment like he did at the the State of the Union, this could be different. He did not have a moment like that. But I contend what hurt him as bad were the two or three follow up interviews right after the, right after the debate where he seemed even, he seemed less enthusiastic and less energetic. And that's when the call for him to withdraw from so many even escalated. Then Democrats have to step back and say, should we have had a mini primary? Should we have given this to Kamala Harris? She was the vice president. But there were those who wanted a mini primary. And as a result, to Greg's point, all these Democrats had said that the war was going to end and people supported him. Sometimes that happens in campaigns, but there's no doubt Mr. Trump had people saying it at an even bigger and much worse level. Finally, for Mr. Biden, I feel bad for him in so many ways because there are things some round of table may not agree, but there's some things he did that his legacy he should be proud of. He was the first to give Ukraine weapons. He was the first to say after Covid, we should invest in building semiconductor chips and build up our own infrastructure here to things that not being reliant on China and Asian countries. And he was the one that after President Trump got through Operation Warp Speed, got vaccines to people. But you know what, what we're going to remember him for, at least in the short intermediate term, is that he was not advised by the people who loved him the most not to run for a second term. And that's unfortunate.
Emily Compagno
Being someone that has had many conversations, breaking up with someone, that just kills me. I hate people that can't have a critical conversation, sit down and say, here's the news and it's going to be rough, but I'm going to say it. I feel like he had.
Harold Ford Jr.
But you've never dated the president of the United States. I don't think so. Telling the president is a tough thing. Maybe you did.
Greg Gutfeld
They should have just told him he already was in his second term.
Emily Compagno
Totally. Exactly.
Dana Perino
And made him like fake Oval Office.
Greg Gutfeld
Fake Oval Office.
Emily Compagno
The liberal media wants to blame President Trump for the deadly Texas floods. Stay with us.

The other Dana, CNN's Dana Bass. Dana pointing out that because the deadly floods hit Texas, a solid red state, it's harder for Republicans to spin the disaster politically.
Harold Ford Jr.
Roll it.
Dana Perino
Senator Cruz did say that he believes in the National Weather Service. He believes in fema. And so I would not be surprised if those sentiments gain traction in a different way now that they have seen this happen, sadly generally, but also that it's happened not in a blue state, but in a red state that is harder for Republicans to politicize.
Greg Gutfeld
Now, Jesse, we don't have a lot of time, so let's just.
Harold Ford Jr.
I just want to fact check you.
Greg Gutfeld
For just one second.
Harold Ford Jr.
Yes, Darrell, there is a such thing as a grandmother clock. They originated in the early 18th century when clock makers sought to create more space efficient versions of the towering grandfather clock. It stands at 5 to 6ft tall while the grandfather clock stands at 7 to 9ft tall. I rest my case.
Emily Compagno
All right, good trivia.
Jesse Waters
All right.
Greg Gutfeld
I learned something I learned something there. You know, Jesse, every time you turn on cnn, isn't it like visiting a depressed, lethargic neighbor? Like, the newspapers have been piling up outside, so you want to peek in the window and you see Dana Bash or Stelter, and they go like, ooh, I feel bad.
Jesse Waters
Yeah. When the newspapers pile up, that means you robbed the place. They're out of town. Right. That's why I get someone else in the neighborhood to grab my papers. Right? Isn't that what everybody does? It's different when you politicize something and you hold public officials accountable so you save lives in the future. Like if you're lying about Trump doging the weather service or you're saying it's about global warming, that's politicizing. But if you say, yeah, Karen Bass flew to Africa for a cocktail party right before they told her her city was going to burn or Newsom emptied the reservoirs, that's just holding people accountable so that doesn't happen again. There is a legit point there. They had a vote on a million dollars to add, I guess what you'd call it, an early warning technology for this river that may have saved lives. And that's a legit criticism.
Greg Gutfeld
No, you're right. You're absolutely right. Emily, what say you?
Emily Compagno
Well, as always, when people initially politicize this, there's sort of two camps. There's the ones that are grotesque, like the pediatrician who has now been fired from her job, where what they say is just absolutely vile. And then there's the ones that say those zombie facts or are just wrong. And that's what gets amplified and filters through the Internet. You know, the budget cuts, and it was understaffed, and that was debunked immediately. Budget cuts have not taken into effect. We have confirmation it was actually overstaffed at that point. And then you have the lone voices of reason that say, look, I hate to agree with the president, but he's absolutely right. This is. And so I feel like we see that same pattern. But what is. Our job is to focus on the victims, on the relief efforts, on donating and praying for Texas, and not give any more oxygen to that noise.
Greg Gutfeld
Harold, what say you?
Harold Ford Jr.
I agree with everything around the table. This is a. I never believed during a crisis when Americans, regardless of where they live or how they voted, that any president of any party or any politician of any party should be bargaining for political gain or advantage. As they talk about people experiencing and facing hardship. My prayers go out, as Emily said, to everyone. The one area where I do think we have to look at what's happening and what can happen going forward in terms of assistance. Is that flat flash flood alley, they're going to continue to face rain there. Do they have what they need? This is not a partisan or political comment. This is a public safety and humanity comment. We ought to figure out whatever it is they need that we are in the business of providing it. Because the last thing I want to do is wake up another Saturday morning or Friday morning and learn that children at a summer camp, as I think about sending my own kids to sleepaway camp next year, faced with these families are having to deal with today, Dana.
Greg Gutfeld
You know, I'm going to be honest here for once.
Dana Perino
Well.
Greg Gutfeld
There is an instinct when you see something bad happen to blame and it's there, especially if it's the other side. I think we can all admit that there might be a little bit of pull, but we stop it, we push it down, we go, you know what I don't think? When I think, okay, it's so and so's fault, I go like, how is this tweet going to help the victims? Like me going, ha, ha ha, you suck, does not do anything for these people. And I think not enough people are as good as I am.
Dana Perino
That's true. We could all take a lesson in that. And you're not like some people. Some people, their North Star is politics and partisanship. So no matter what happens, whatever tragedy happens, then of course you see the world through that lens. And then you think, oh, children have died. Oh, okay. How can I blame President Trump for this? If that's your mindset, you're always going to be there. I don't think most people in America are not like that. It would help if Democrats in the media and Republicans, when it happens, take a beat, take a moment. Especially when the rescues are still underway.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, it's the lowest level of thought and social media latches onto it. Up next, you can wear shoes on flights again.
Jesse Waters
I hear it all.
Greg Gutfeld
This is Jimmy Falla inviting you to join me for Fox Across America where we'll discuss every single one of the Democrats dumb ideas. Just kidding. It's only a three hour show. Listen live at noon Eastern or get the podcast@foxacrossamerica.com.

Passengers will no longer have to take their shoes off while going through TSA security screenings. This is something, Dana, that affects a lot of people. You've talked about this. Tell me why this?
Dana Perino
There was a reason for it. Everyone understood at the time, but we don't need to do it anymore. And this is great. And now I don't have to think about the shoes I'm wearing anymore to the airport because you have to be like. You have to, like, make sure you're convenient. Like, you can't wear your tall boots because that's so annoying. So now I can wear my tall boots. I don't really have that many, Greg.
Harold Ford Jr.
Just so you know. Gutfeld air.
Greg Gutfeld
Is it tall? For those of us. A regular woman's shoe for you.
Emily Compagno
Okay.
Harold Ford Jr.
For those of us that fly Delta and we have to take our shoes off. I know you know what this means? You fly with your shoes. You don't. You fly with your shirt on when you fly property?
Greg Gutfeld
No, I often go shirtless because that's what the fans want. I'm not grateful over this. I'm glad, but I'm not grateful. Like, I mean, it's like this. It tells you everything about government. It's so easy to start something. It's impossible to stop something. Look at Obamacare, right? A disaster destroyed billions of lives, but we can't get rid of it. But it is true. Like, I've been avoiding wearing complicated footwear because I didn't want to slow down the line. But now I can go back to my strappy heels.
Dana Perino
They look good on you.
Greg Gutfeld
Thank you.

Well, I just feel like the grossest thing in the whole world is everybody walking around barefoot and socks where souls touch. Right. Like disgusting. Exactly. So for me, it's like hygiene. But I agree with you. I never dreamt it would actually end. That something ridiculous would actually end.
Harold Ford Jr.

Progressive Strategies:
Emily Compagno discusses non-violent resistance tactics employed by progressives, such as encircling courtrooms to block ICE operations.
Emily Compagno [01:43]: "Some of the most inspiring things have been when people encircle courtrooms and refuse to allow ICE agents in."
Harold Ford Jr. on Rhetoric:
Harold Ford Jr. criticizes Democratic rhetoric that dehumanizes ICE, equating it to Nazis and terrorist organizations, thereby emboldening fringe groups to commit violent acts.
Harold Ford Jr. [02:17]: "These nuts that want to take it beyond protest into criminal activity... compare ICE to the Nazis... these fringe groups feel emboldened."
Overview:
The panel assesses the level of organization and planning behind the ICE ambushes, suggesting a significant escalation from typical Antifa activities.
Key Discussions:
Sophistication of the Attacks:
Emily Compagno points out the high level of coordination and resources evident in the attacks, noting the use of body armor and two-way radios.

Transgender Representation:
Greg Gutfeld raises questions about the presence of transgender individuals in such violent activities, challenging the stereotype associated with Antifa.
Greg Gutfeld [04:37]: "Why is there always a high percentage of trans in either antifa or any of these violent activities?"
Domestic Terror Implications:
The discussion shifts to the possibility that these attacks signify a rise in domestic terrorism, emphasizing the premeditated nature of the assaults.
Emily Compagno [07:24]: "This is a deliberate fomentation of violence... this is not just someone making signs in the town square."
Overview:
The conversation transitions to President Trump's recent cabinet meeting, highlighting his policy achievements and the humorous moment of Netanyahu nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Key Discussions:
Policy Accomplishments:

Policy Achievements Despite Challenges:
Despite the campaign mishaps, Ford acknowledges some of Biden's policy achievements, such as supporting Ukraine and investing in domestic semiconductor production.
Harold Ford Jr. [32:51]: "He was the first to give Ukraine weapons... invest in building semiconductor chips."
