Greg Gutfeld
Hi, I'm greg gutfeld. Along with kennedy, harold ford jr. Jesse waters and sandra smith, the five. President Trump talking up America's Golden Age to the Golden Arches 47 addressing McDonald's franchise owners at a summit and he was loving it.
Donald Trump
I'm honored to stand before you as the very first former McDonald's fry cook ever to become President of the United States. And I actually was there for about 30 minutes and that was 30 minutes longer than Kamala was there. I like the fish. I like it. You could do a little bit more tartar sauce. So please. They had restrictions on water. They put a restrictor on. I won't mention the third item in the bathroom because I always get criticized. I used to mention that but I don't mention it anymore because you know what I mean. I think you do if you don't know what I'm talking about. Mac. And he told me he loved it.
Greg Gutfeld
Not a grimace was seen as Trump told the Mickey D's owners he's ready to supersize the cash in Americans pockets. And finally and Biden's affordability crisis.
Donald Trump
The word is affordable. And affordable is should be our word, not theirs. Because the Democrats got up and took affordability. Affordability. And they don't say that they had the worst inflation in history, the highest energy prices in history. Everything was the worst. The Biden administration started the affordability crisis and my administration is ending it. I'm ending it.
Greg Gutfeld
But all Dems want to do is deep fry the prez over the affordability issue that they ignored under Joe Biden.
Harold Ford Jr.
He claims there is no affordability crisis in the United States of America. But why would anyone believe anything that Donald Trump or Republicans have to say on this issue. Clearly, the issue in America, as we saw just this past Tuesday, is affordability.
Jesse Watters
Almost exclusively, we were talking about affordability, those kitchen table issues, and how to actually improve people's lives.
Greg Gutfeld
I guess now that Jeffrey Epstein's no longer around, Hakeem can't ask for money. All right, Jesse, this affordability, what does it teach you that Trump is doing what the Democrats should do with Trump? If you see a position that they have that you like affordability, share it.
Jesse Watters
Sure. I mean, you can't run on fixing a problem you created. The Democrats created the affordability crisis. No one can afford anything cuz they spent so much money and didn't drill, baby, drill. And all the things Trump wants to do, like deport drill, baby, drill, cut regulations, cut, cut taxes is what's gonna help. And Democrats don't wanna do any of that stuff. I like how he tried to make Bobby eat the Big Mac. You always had that friend that you like tried to make him eat stuff just to see if he'd puke. He's got a crew of guys. Bobby's the guy you give stuff to see if he'll yak like. Pete's the guy that likes to blow stuff up. Rubio's like your Mexican friend that works a lot but is really funny. JD Vance is like the poor kid who's really smart. Bessant's like the smooth operator who you put in front of the parents if you get in trouble and he'll just like make things go away. Trump's like the rich kid with the mansion and all the toys and everybody goes over to his house and has a big adventure. It's a great crew and we need to keep it together. But these elections, last couple Tuesdays was a huge wake up call because he is now dialed in on affordability. He's banging the drum. And now he'll probably go into campaign mode. He's the best when he's in that retail politic mode, when he works the McDonald's fry machine, when he puts on the trucker thing, send them out to a cattle ranch, send them out to a farm, go to a small business that's been helped by the tariffs, do something like that. Because next year is the crucial year. Next year you have the tax cuts that set in, all the trade deals, all the foreign investment flow in. And if you could get rates down and start fast tracking power plants and housing startups, you can really, really create a boom. But the American people need to help themselves too. The government can't do everything. You got to snatch dream. You got to sacrifice when you're young, you got to bust your butt. You got to fall in love. You got to take risks. You got to save money. All of those things are out there for the taking. You just have to grab it.
Greg Gutfeld
All right, so Kennedy, Jesse didn't answer my question, so I posed it to you.
Kennedy
That's how I know he needs to run for office.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes, exactly.
Kennedy
He will take anything and twist it around to something he wants to talk.
Greg Gutfeld
Exactly. So. So you have Trump, who's 8020, on every issue. He's right on the right side of issues, but the Democrats don't join it because it's Trump. What does Trump do is he sees that affordability is a good issue, and he jumps into it with different solutions. That's what the Dems should have tried.
Kennedy
They should have tried that. They lost on that. That's why they lost 2024 in addition to having a horrible candidate. But if they had leaned into the populism that got Trump to office in the first place in 2016 and realized that that's where the voters were at. But instead, they abandoned them for all the snobby, weird, elitist issues about transgender men playing in women's sports, and they bet on the wrong side of that issue. We didn't even know what an 8020 issue was until Trump exploited it. But the problem is, as these elections just showed us in New Jersey, Virginia, here in New York City, is that Republicans did seed a lot of ground on the populism and affordability, and voters get really skittish. And this is. You know, Harold and I talked about this last week. The fickle voters were when they feel like they still can't afford anything, they know no party, and they didn't like Biden lecturing them for four years, saying, hey, inflation is fine. You can afford everything. And they were worried that Trump was starting to do the same thing. Because the problem is, if you're touting only certain aspects of your economy, you are turning your back on the real pain that people are facing. Now, what he has to reconcile is, are his tariffs exacerbating that? And will giving people this $2,000 tariff credit create an inflationary environment? And if that's the case, he's kind of making the argument against his own tariffs.
Greg Gutfeld
Except, though he's not printing money, he's just taking.
Kennedy
That's the Fed, which we have to end.
Sandra Smith
Thank you.
Greg Gutfeld
You print money, you create inflation, Sandra. But I don't have to tell you that you're a news lady. But now when Trump left office in 2020, inflation was at like 1.7. When Biden left office, it was under 10%. So now he's getting it back down. It's about 2.7%. It's like has, has the media deliberately forgotten the cost of eggs and gas under Joe?
Sandra Smith
I think that's a completely fair point. But I remember on Inauguration Day we were standing in Washington watching the President give his speech and he talked about bringing prices down, not slowing inflation. And I remember thinking that's going to be a major challenge for him to follow through on because historically bringing down the prices is extremely challenging and it takes a long time. But he has slowed inflation. He's followed, he's been able to follow through on that. He is. Our inflation is half what it is from where Biden handed it off. But if Democrats want to scream about an affordability crisis at $3 a gallon, gasoline nationally according to Triple A, what was it at $5 under Joe Biden, where was the affordability crisis there? And by the way, I have this print off. I know, you know, I am the news lady, Greg, you are. The American stock market, which is most people's retirement and long term investments, is up 12% and at a record. Okay, crude oil is down 22%. Gas is back down to $3. Most people say in their areas it's even lower than that. Egg prices are down 30%. But what is down to your, both your points is consumer confidence. It's down 10% since Trump took office. And so you have to ask why that is, why people feel that way. Even though prices are down, gas is down, oil, some food prices are down. Why do they feel that way? And Republicans would be very smart not to ignore that.
Greg Gutfeld
What do you say, Harold?
Harold Ford Jr.
So good to be with everybody. I think Kennedy I agree with 99.9%. I can't figure out the 0.1% of what she just shared. And I think we all have to take into account politics. The most urgent issue in politics is everyone's economic and money issues. Unfortunately, most Americans don't have the luxury of looking back where they were six months, a year ago, a year and a half ago. This notion of complaining about President Biden. Can you imagine Thomas Jefferson complaining about George Washington? He did all the time. Or John Adams complaining about George Washington. That Revolutionary War lasted too long. If it hadn't lasted so long, I'd be way up in the polls. We are at a moment right now where as Kennedy mentioned so well, the President has offered basically two enormous ideas to help reduce prices and help wages go up. One was the big beautiful bill. The president, his secretary of treasury, says that the fruits of that bill will really manifest itself come next year. Well, we just had an election. People talk about the fickleness of the electorate. What really that fickleness is, is people are saying, are you delivering on what you said you were going to deliver on? The reason Kamala Harris lost is because she was perceived to be what Joe Biden was when she answered that question. I can't think of anything I would have done differently over the last four years. And voters said, you know what? Any chance of giving her, we're going to take a risk with her. We can't do it now. Two, the affordability issue has been the number one issue in every single election. We're able to color around the issue a bit as we talk about border security and crime. But all those issues are directly tied to people's economic plights and their economic fortunes. The president, instead of blaming Democrats, instead of blaming Biden, the admission that tariffs was to Kim, this point, you said it so well. Lowering the tariffs on food is an admission that it increased the price of food. If the big beautiful bill does not drive up or does not drive growth in everyday people's lives, come next year, this will be a very difficult election for President Trump. Not because it's President Trump, because that's how American politics works. And if you don't recognize that, all you have to do is look back at the only polls that matter in their elections. We had one two weeks ago and Democrats cleaned the clock of Republicans all across the country. A year earlier, Republicans and President Trump cleaned the clocks of Democrats. Democrats, if you don't offer answers, you will find yourself in a tough spot next year as well. And President Trump, I just don't believe that blaming Democrats and blaming Biden is going to be the answer or the path to victory.
Jesse Watters
What is the Democrat plan to lower prices?
Harold Ford Jr.
Democrats have said that you ought to extend the subsidies for health care.
Jesse Watters
What is their plan to lower prices?
Harold Ford Jr.
They don't believe in the tariffs. The way the president's going about it. Look, at the end of the day, their plan is not as clear as it should be.
Jesse Watters
Jesse, that's an admission you don't have a plan.
Harold Ford Jr.
But Jesse, here's the thing, though. If that's your answer, I love.
Jesse Watters
I'm just questioning what your plan is to decide whose plan is better the next year. They'll decide we didn't. Now you're deciding between someone that has.
Harold Ford Jr.
One and people who don't want the plan that's out there sucks. It's not working. I can admit when my plan is not working, it's not working.
Jesse Watters
We got your ass. We got jobs, we got border security. You have 3% market, you got invest.
Harold Ford Jr.
Stock market is driven by 10 stocks. It's tied to the massive investments nine months. Jesse, I hope you're right. But here's the, here's the reality. Your plan is not working so far. And I can admit when my plan.
Jesse Watters
I wouldn't say that.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, you know what Trump left office in 22 weeks ago it was 1.7% now it's 2.7% after it being almost 10% under Biden. So I don't know what you're talking about.
Harold Ford Jr.
People can't afford beef, they can't afford bananas, they can't afford insurance, they can't afford health care. That's where the everyday American okay.
Greg Gutfeld
If you look at insurance, okay, you did a list there, a lot of those have to do with Democrat policies, insurance included. The interesting thing, you bring up tariffs. That's a non permanent policy. That's what Trump does. He never picks something that is permanent. So if it doesn't work then these reciprocated tariffs, I can lower it here on a product that we don't make. I can increase it on a product that we make. He doesn't choose permanent solutions like the Democrats. Hey, your kids depressed? Cut off their junk.
Harold Ford Jr.
The problem is when you're if you and I have a business and he keeps raising, lowering, raising, lowering, we can't adjust. Small business, huge companies can't adjust. But a small business woman in this country, a medium sized business guy in this country, they can't adjust to the.
Sandra Smith
When the president every day are enjoying the rollback of an enormous amount of regulation.
Harold Ford Jr.
I disagree with you 100%. The facts don't. I adore you but I do not agree with you on that. On that the facts do not support that. Big business can adjust better than small business and all you have to do is look at the election results.
Greg Gutfeld
I never said I adore you to me.
Harold Ford Jr.
I've always said you I love you.
Sandra Smith
Yes.
Kennedy
What would you rather have?
Greg Gutfeld
I would rather be adored. Stone Roses. Up next, President Trump is turning the tables on the Democrats after the House votes to release the Epstein files.

President Trump lashing out at the Democrats ahead of the House voting overwhelmingly Only one no vote to release the Epstein files and the Senate may vote on releasing those files as soon as tonight. Here's the President.
Greg Gutfeld
Mr. President, why wait for Congress to.
Kennedy
Release the Epstein files?
Greg Gutfeld
Why not just do it now?
Donald Trump
It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you are a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert. But I guess I turned out to be right.
Sandra Smith
And now some big questions remain on why the Democrats, who were largely silent on Epstein while former President Joe Biden was in power, are now making this issue priority number one. Listen to these lawmakers, including the one Democrat, Stacey Plaskett, who got caught texting Jeffrey Epstein during a hearing years ago.
Harold Ford Jr.
The Washington Post only shows you 30.
Sandra Smith
Seconds and takes from it one individual's name that I got from Jeffrey Epstein.
Harold Ford Jr.
You want to talk about texting, texting felons?
Jesse Watters
How often do you text President Donald J. Trump?
Announcer
He full of.
Sandra Smith
He didn't even bring the House back.
Harold Ford Jr.
In because he was trying to avoid.
Announcer
Us dealing with Epstein.
Greg Gutfeld
In trying so hard to hide the truth, Donald Trump has provoked the fiercest rebellion he's ever faced among his own supporters. It's all blown up in Donald Trump's face.
Sandra Smith
So why do the Democrats herald care so much now?
Harold Ford Jr.
I think I'm a Democrat that's cared for a long time. I think this is a difference without really a distinction. The House voted today. You don't really see votes in the Congress 427 to 1.
Sandra Smith
The 1 was a rep in Louisiana, by the way.
Harold Ford Jr.
Right. A guy named Clay Higgins who believes that you shouldn't be doing these extra legislative efforts to try to over overstep the bounds of the legal branch of the Attorney General's office, if that matter, the Oversight Committee. But that's his. He'll have to defend that boat back home. I think this here is interesting to me because I listened to some of the lawyers for some of the survivors over the last few days, and one of them said something that we probably have all heard. He said that we're not interested in the names. We're interested in knowing the people in government who enabled and protected these people. Now, some of these people are obviously powerful, recognizable people. Some may be celebrities as the names come out. And I think that that is a. That is a legitimate pursuit for not only the survivors, but I think for any and all of us who would want to know. This all started. Remember, this started back when President George W. Bush was president, when he had his first brush with the law. And it was that Acosta guy that negotiated this crazy deal that was very generous towards Epstein. And every president since him, including President Trump, has at some point either blocked or slowed down the process for the survivors to be able to get to the bottom of this. I don't know the answer to your question, Sandra. I do know that what I've heard Democrats say is that they didn't do this during the Biden era because there was an investigation underway and they didn't believe those files should be released. That may or may not be true. I don't believe. What I do know now is, and what I, for the life of me, what I can't understand, if I were President Trump, who 72 hours ago had a very different position than he has now, and there's nothing to suggest the president's involved in any of this. But 72 hours ago, at a very different position, he now says they should vote. But why make them go through the process if you're going to sign it? Why not just release the files? Ask Ms. Bondi. The President said, rightly so in Air Force One of them.
Sandra Smith
There are various reasons why the victims haven't named them by name. Right.
Harold Ford Jr.
But the victims want to know who protected them. That's what they want to know. Because they know the names of people who victimized. The point is, if you can, the president said on Air Force One the other day that he is not only the commander in chief, he's the chief legal officer for the country, which presumably means he can ask Ms. Bondi to release all of this stuff tonight and everybody can be satisfied and we can get back to the affordability issue.
Sandra Smith
So now you want the president to act without Congress?
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, he can't.
Sandra Smith
All right?
Harold Ford Jr.
So that's not fair. That's not fair. That's a cheap shot, and that's not fair. The president can do it. He has the power to do it. But if we all want to wait and we want the ratings, that's fine. But the president can do it tonight.
Kennedy
Gerald might rescind his adoration.
Sandra Smith
Jesse.
Harold Ford Jr.
I still adore it. If I was trying to defendants, I'd say the same thing, Jesse.
Sandra Smith
Same to you, Jesse. Okay, Just a second ago, we were watching live on the Senate floor, Chuck Schumer. We are told he's about to take this to the floor. The vote in the Senate to get unanimous consent. So that could be happening anymore. Moment now.
Jesse Watters
Well, you know, Harold said that Trump blocked this. I mean, Trump was the guy that arrested him in 2019 when Democrats were hanging out with Epstein.
Harold Ford Jr.
I blocked the release of the files.
Jesse Watters
I said yesterday, okay, okay, Trump arrested him. Trump put him in prison. Bush arrested him. Democrats hang out with the guy and then take his money and collude with him. This is not a Republican scandal. This guy is a Democrat. He's a dead Democrat pedophile. He's a New York financier and an Ivy League guy. He's in those circles. These aren't our circles, Harold. Bill Clinton was on his plane. He was at Bill Clinton's White House 17 times. Bill Richardson, Summers. Now all of a sudden he steps down after everything came out. Hakeem Jeffries was soliciting money from Epstein after he was convicted of being with a 14 year old. That's disgusting. Stacey is disgusting. He got her elected at the Virgin Islands. He gave her money, he put her there and then is texting her what to do during a hearing and she's all set, right? Everything's fine with Stacey. No one cares. This is not an issue Republicans are worried about. This guy broke up with Epstein 20 years ago, hasn't seen him since. Meanwhile, everyone's at Epstein's house. Foreigners, Democrats, liberal authors, liberal journalists, they're all hanging out. Everyone's having a good time. They're all conspiring to take down President Trump. And just like Russia and just like those mortgage fraud accusations, it's all boomeranging and we're going to find out a lot. Now, I know Johnson kind of confessed that this guy was intelligence. He Said, well, is the Department of Justice going to redact stuff that's classified or pertains to national security? Because if the CIA had this guy on a ring and then all of a sudden they're going to redact all these emails, the Department of Justice can't do it. Someone's got to redact this stuff. I mean, it's obvious who this guy was, and the Democrats don't want to be anywhere near it.
Harold Ford Jr.
Now, if we had a rapist as a CIA agent, shame on us. If that's true, I think there may be some truth there. But I cannot believe we would allow this guy to traffic women, traffic little girls. And because he was giving us a little intelligence, everybody looked the other way. To me, that would be the most damning.
Jesse Watters
That's one of the things people are.
Harold Ford Jr.
Theory turns out to be right about, Harold.
Sandra Smith
You know, Greg, the Byron York had an interesting counter to the survivor should be heard argument. Why don't they just name the names? He said, these victims have gone public. They've given up their privacy. They have members of Congress who say they will go to the floor of the House, protect it, protected by speech and debate, to name the men of the victims accused of these crimes. Associates of Epstein who stayed close to him after. Even after his 2008 criminal conviction are on the run. Look at Lawrence Summers today. Why not name the names and just be done with it?
Greg Gutfeld
I don't know. I call them victims now. We call them survivors. Is that new? I don't know. Let's do the math. I'm with Jesse. Who do you think is gonna get hammered by this more, Trump or the Dems? If anything bad would happen to Trump, it would have happened by now. They threw everything at him. They tried to kill him. So I think what you're gonna see is this drip, drip, splat. Plaskin, Larry Summers, Hakeem Jeffries. Who's next, Schumer? I don't know. But you're gonna start seeing these things happening, and I am gonna be watching how the media covers that. Will they follow those stories as hard and diligently as they would if it were Trump? Now Trump's pissed off, I think, because he looks at everything as leverage. And it's like, we're gonna give this away, this big treasure trove of stuff. At least let me look through it to see if we got any stuff on the guy in Colombia or if we got any more stuff on Prince Andrew. Maybe we can get something out of England. I don't know. He might look at it that way. And also he also knows that the media will weaponize any kind of distraction away from the work that he's doing with this, with this story, which they chose not to do under Biden, you know, which is kind of interesting. So we know it has no concern for the victims at all when the Democrats are now becoming very righteous about it because they didn't give a damn about it for the last four years. Schumer never mentioned it. So it's our job, I think, to be the adults in the room. Cuz the Dems and the media won't be. We learn they will misinterpret the emails in a way to demonize the people they don't like while protecting the people that they do. Obviously we've seen so many examples of that, including Epstein saying Trump is the worst person ever, and then the Democrats going, yay. That says Trump's bad. No, it says Trump's good, you idiot. I also worry about people, and I've said this before, that get scooped up in this giant net because they answered an email. I was thinking, what if a coworker you were trading dirty jokes with turns out to be a serial killer? I think about that all the time. Working with Jesse.
Sandra Smith
Always use erasable ink.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes. No, I mean on the.
Sandra Smith
Okay. Just wanted to update the Senate floor. This is just now in. Schumer's unanimous consent request went through. So the Senate has now agreed formally to pass the Epstein bill to President Trump's desk as soon as they get it from the House. Kennedy never should have been political.
Kennedy
This never should have been a football that went back and forth in order for either side to weaponize and find some hideous predators in there that if they outed them would be politically beneficial. That is never what this should have been about. You know, we're all at this table. We are all parents of girls. And it is so tragic that there were so many young whip, young women who were preyed upon over the years. In James Patterson's book, he talks about how everyone would whisper about what was going on. And I'm sure there were whispers in the Hollywood community, but rich guys like that have access to. That's the only thing he ever wanted. He wanted access to powerful people who could protect him and he wanted access to famous people who would make him look good and, you know, who knows what he was doing trafficking these young women. But if it happened with him and if there were so many people on the list who would act as a shield, it could absolutely happen again. And as parents of girls. We need to be vigilant about that and keep our eyes on the people whose innocent and whose lives were stolen from them. This never should have been something where Hakeem Jeffries like, yeah, well, Trump's chickening out now. It's like when he's talking about, he's just talking about harming Trump. He is hoping that somehow Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump because Donald Trump was worse than Jeffrey Epstein, as opposed to someone who would use his power to put him where he rightfully belongs, which is in hell where he is now.
Sandra Smith
Got it. Up next, Bill Maher thinks AOC could be presidential material. But there's a big if.

Liberal Bill Maher must have been stoned out of his mind when he said that Squad leader AOC would make a fantastic candidate for president if she had some deprogramming.
Harold Ford Jr.
She could be such a fantastic candidate.
Greg Gutfeld
What do you mean deprogramming?
Harold Ford Jr.
She's never going to resonate with people outside of the bubble that she lives in, in the very, very far left. Well, the only way the Democrats will ever win again, not that the Republicans are probably going to give it back, is to be more moderate.
Jesse Watters
And now AOC is showing off how she lose all 50 states by going the full 20 on an 8020 issue. She's celebrating Transgender Awareness Week. Kennedy, I forgot to wish you happy transgender awareness.
Kennedy
Thank you, Jesse.
Jesse Watters
You're welcome.
Greg Gutfeld
How are you celebrating?
Kennedy
I shaved my beard just in time for the show.
Jesse Watters
Oh, you look great.
Harold Ford Jr.
Oh, thank you.
Kennedy
How am I celebrating? I love watching the left cannibalize itself. I really, really do. I do not wish progressives any luck in elections. I'm terrified for the reign of Zoran Mamdani here in New York. It has emboldened people like aoc. The most interesting thing is watching her triangulate on whether or not one of her fellow progressives should primary Hakeem Jeffries. Because now she has to be a little bit more of a mainstream Democrat if she wants to run for president in 2028. That means she cannot turf Democrat leadership, especially if the guy who's going to primary him will probably lose and Hakeem Jeffries will stay exactly where she is. I don't think that there is a way to reprogram a progressive. I think, unfortunately, that it is an orthodoxy and a mental virus that takes over any rational component of a person's executive function. Therefore, she cannot be the head of the executive branch.
Jesse Watters
Harold, is AOC presidential timber?
Harold Ford Jr.
I don't know. I think that what Bill, I think, was trying to say, she could be. But I think what he was trying to say is you can't connect with everybody in the country if you have these views that are so outside of where the mainstream is. She clearly has some of the attributes. She's smart, she's popular, she's got. She's well known in the country. When I say popular, well known is what I really mean. But I was listening to someone today who wrote a book on rfk, and he talked about how Robert F. Kennedy. And he said, not Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. But the attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. And he said, you know, one of the things that he was great about is he admitted when he made mistakes, he talked about policy errors and things he could grow on. I think about my time in politics. You said something to me the other day. I didn't support term limits when I got to Congress. I now am a massive supporter of term limits. I tried to give myself space all the time to grow. I was not totally for charter schools and vouchers when I got to Congress. I've since changed. I've gone so far as I think we need massive federal involvement. We ought to take it from the locals because they're not doing a good enough job. I used to think we should Lower tax taxes on certain businesses. Once I got the Congress, I learned better in my private sector. Experience has got me to think about this even differently. She should do the same. And if you're willing to grow and show that you have space to grow, voters will reward you that. That would be her lane. To get there.
Jesse Watters
I've changed my position on filet o fish. I always thought it was gross, but now Trump saying it's good. If you add a little more tartar, I might try it tonight.
Kennedy
Delightful.
Sandra Smith
I don't know what that tastes like. Demonization of business, demonization of corporations. That's what I think of when I think of aoc. She does a of that. I have a very hard time with somebody who is highly critical of the biggest taxpayers in New York City. That's a problem, I would say, going forward. On transgender rights, where is she on women? Why does she not hold a press conference? Why are these Democrats not out there trying to protect these girls who are fighting for themselves without adults in the room standing up for them? In our Fox News poll on this past election night, we asked voters about transgender rights. And if they've gone too far, half of respondents think that transgender rights and this issue in this country has gone too far. If she wants to run on that, I don't know if that's presidential material.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg, here's the total irony. If you are truly trans, 100% truly trans, you would reject Trans Awareness Week because the whole point is you want to fit in. You don't want people to know, hey, check it out. Trans.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm aware.
Greg Gutfeld
Come on over here. No, if you are trans, you want to pass it is the dumbest. This is such a white female, liberal perception of, like, virtue. Bill Maher says, you know, AOC would be a great presidential candidate. Then he follows it with a big but, which kind of makes sense. Then you look at this interview because anyway, I got it. Thank you. What's weird about this interview? Bill Maher, Patton Oswald. Maher was trying to explain to Oswald how the Democrat Party had veered completely left. He was using AOC as an example. But Oswald wasn't listening. It wasn't like he was trying to argue. He was. He had no interest in being proven right or proven wrong. Every strong mind is interested in that. You know, if it points you in a better direction, it makes you smarter. I don't want to walk around stupid. I'd be Jesse.
Donald Trump
I'm kidding.
Greg Gutfeld
I'm kidding. I'm kidding. But Patton, Oswald, he has no desire on his part to actually learn anything. It was like I don't know, he was so arrogant that he felt like you know what? I prefer to be in my bubble. I don't want to listen to you. It was really telling me.
Kennedy
And he didn't. He thought that AOC hadn't gone far left.
Harold Ford Jr.
Yes.
Greg Gutfeld
He didn't even know about the non binary stuff the laws in his own system.
Harold Ford Jr.
Yes.
Jesse Watters
Oswald is such a patsy. He really up next, new claims that the Biden FBI muzzled details about the Trump shooter, including his bizarre muscle mommy obsession.
Harold Ford Jr.

Kennedy
The Biden FBI had some splaining to do after New York Post columnist Miranda Devine revealed shocking new details about attempted Trump assassin Thomas Crooks. According to her sources, Crooks apparently used they them pronouns, had an obsession with political violence, and had a fetish for muscle mommies. Another post reveals how he was a staunch Trump supporter back in 2019, but turned and started attacking Trump in 2020. Jesse, obviously I'm going to go to you first because I need to know what a muscle mommy is and how does this relate to the story.
Jesse Watters
So from what I understand, a muscle mommy is like a very muscular woman.
Greg Gutfeld
Pick you up. Not that I know more about this.
Jesse Watters
Than I from personal experience. Cuz it looks like when you're like a skinny little guy, they pick you up and you have an affection for someone, a big strong woman. But does being a muscle mommy lover make you gay? That is the question. Does it make you trans? Those are the questions people are asking. I don't know if people are asking that, but I'm asking this. Why did the Biden people only give us half the story? This guy used to be a Trump supporter and then blue pill during COVID No one does that. Everybody red pilled during COVID then all of a sudden went the other way and became a hateful violent Democrat. And so why didn't they tell that to us? That's what I don't understand. It's like they framed this guy like Kimmel again and it blew back on him.
Kennedy
Yes, but there's something in common with Charlie Crook's assassin, who was a furry fetishist and associated with that lifestyle. The FBI had told us under Biden that there was nothing to see here, that this person did not have a big digital footprint. But what we're learning from Miranda Devine's reporting, huge is that is not true at all.
Sandra Smith
Yeah, I mean, he was all over the place. And you're talking about the furries, as in people who identify as animals, and then they are, in some cases, attracted to people who identify as animals. It's an entire thing. He was making that obsession known on one of his social media platforms. Did I just teach you about that?
Greg Gutfeld
No, I.
Sandra Smith
Or did I misrepresent it?
Greg Gutfeld
I don't know.
Jesse Watters
He cares more about sexual fetishes than everybody on this show combined.
Sandra Smith
But he was on this site called DeviantArt. I mean, that was just one of the platforms. He was used to spread political violence, for example. I mean, he left a trail everywhere.
Greg Gutfeld
That's what animals do.
Sandra Smith
Oh, I knew that was.
Greg Gutfeld
You know. Okay, here's the thing.
Jesse Watters
This.
Greg Gutfeld
The going by a they pronoun is now a marker for a date problem. I think it tells you that that person's mind is susceptible to brainwash or repetitive persuasion. So you have these kids that immediately go they them, and then they get into some kind of, like, weird fetish. A lot of the stuff that you talk about, whether it's muscular moms or furries, it's just something that they discover on the Internet, go down a rabbit hole, gives them a sense of identity because they don't have one. They're not good at anything. They play video games. They're not in sports. They're not doing stuff that makes like they've achieved something. So they are enchanted by nihilism, extremist ideology, violence, trans cultism, drugs, and it's scary. Again, you talked about being a parent of young children. How do you create a strong identity for a child and make it so that they are immune to such destructive persuasion?
Sandra Smith
Family values, church, faith, love.
Harold Ford Jr.
We had a conversation about this yesterday about young men. And you think about this, the deranged and crazy and sick guy that killed Charlie Kirk. What we're learning, the isolation, the loneliness, the social and sexually inactive young men. There's something going on here, and I don't know about all the pronouns and all this stuff there. I mean, that's not. I don't even know how to analyze that. But what I do know is that these kids are more susceptible. These young men are more susceptible to online radicalization and extremism. And clearly this guy was as well as Charlie Shooter.
Kennedy
Yeah, it's horrible and it's terrifying for parents. Well, up next, it's the question of our times. Should men wear pink? Stay with us.

A debate is raging online over whether it's okay for guys to work a pink J. Crew sweater. People are saying this about it. Are you kidding me? And it's probably from J. Crews new Gavin Newsome collection. I wear. I wore pink tie election night and I wear pink sweaters. I don't wear it quite like that guy, but I'm not, not afraid of this. Kennedy, what are your thoughts about this?
Kennedy
No, I. I don't like the Harry styles and pearls. I don't like the Timothee chalamet in. In satin. I love the sweater. For me, I would wear this with a white tutu underneath, and I think it would be adorable. It'd be very 90s.
Harold Ford Jr.
How often do you wear pink, Mr. Gutfeld?
Greg Gutfeld
I wear it when I feel pink. You know, this is so ugly for women that they thought that, well, maybe we could just sell it to dudes. Here's my recreational belief on this. Any man who chooses to wear that is telling women that he's amazing because he's purposely handicapping himself in such a hideous sweater. I mean, that is so gay. Gay people won't wear it.
Harold Ford Jr.
You wouldn't even wear that in dark blue.
Greg Gutfeld
I won't even wear that in the dark.
Harold Ford Jr.
Sandra, what are your thoughts about this?
Sandra Smith
I think pink is perfectly fine. It just happens to be a really terrible sweater. And I think pink also works on men when it's like a little bit faded. Like, you didn't just buy it brand new or purposely leave half your collar sticking out of the top of the sweater.
Greg Gutfeld
J. Crew has just given up.
Harold Ford Jr.
You wore a pink tie. Last week I did.
Jesse Watters
I will dabble in pink when the season calls for it or when the spirit moves me, but I will not drape myself. Okay. Drape myself in a pink sweater with a little necklace embroidered around it.
Greg Gutfeld
It's like a doily.
Jesse Watters
Yeah, it's a necklace and you're already on the line with the pink.
Sandra Smith
A dickie.
Jesse Watters
A dickie.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, it's a dickie. It's a doily and a dickie.
Sandra Smith
Yeah, it's terrible.
Harold Ford Jr.
I like sweaters, but I don't know if I would wear that one. One more thing is up next. Hey, Jen. All right, so a French fireman and a performer now holds the record for the most consecutive full body burn. Jumping Jack at 50. How many jumping jacks can you do on fire? I have about 13. Then my inner thigh got a little hot. This is a controlled environment. Don't try this at home. The lawyers made me say that tonight. Juicy Waters primetime. Happy TDS Tuesday.

Firefighters in Clearwater, Florida are praising local hero citizens who pulled a 74 year old man.
Greg Gutfeld
Wow. Fire everywhere.
Harold Ford Jr.
In a burning car before it engulfed in flames. It was their courage and quick thinking that helped save the man's life. God bless him. And God bless that man.
Greg Gutfeld
Maybe he was doing jumping jacks.
Harold Ford Jr.
He could have been.
Sandra Smith
Yeah. Sandra, they're not furry. But it's a Seattle seal. It got a helping hand from a local wildlife photographer while on the run from a pack of killer whales. The seal took refuge in the photographer's boat, but the killer whales did not give up. Teaming up to try and rock the seal off the boat back into the water. Thankfully, about 15 minutes later, the whales finally called it quits, leaving both the seal and the photographer unharmed.
Harold Ford Jr.
Wow.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, that's a scary story. We don't. We're out of time.
Sandra Smith
Kennedy, do you know who's up next.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes, isn't it Brett baer?

In this lively episode of The Five, Greg Gutfeld, Kennedy, Harold Ford Jr., Jesse Watters, and Sandra Smith tackle several of the day's hottest topics—most notably former President Donald Trump's outreach to McDonald's franchisees, the cost-of-living debate dominating American politics, and the dramatic House vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. The panel blends serious debate with their trademark humor, offering a mosaic of perspectives from across the political spectrum.
Main Theme: Trump’s populist messaging and “affordability”
“The Biden administration started the affordability crisis and my administration is ending it. I'm ending it.” – Donald Trump [02:19]
“But these elections, last couple Tuesdays, was a huge wake up call because he is now dialed in on affordability. He's banging the drum. And now he'll probably go into campaign mode. […] The government can’t do everything. You got to snatch dream. You got to sacrifice when you're young, you got to bust your butt. You got to fall in love. You got to take risks. You got to save money.”
– Jesse Watters [04:30–05:28]
Debate: Who should own the affordability narrative?
Segment start: [15:33]
“I have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. I threw him out of my club many years ago because I thought he was a sick pervert.” – Donald Trump [15:50]
“This never should have been a football that went back and forth in order for either side to weaponize and find some hideous predators in there…” [25:20]
Segment start: [26:49]
“If you are truly trans, 100% truly trans, you would reject Trans Awareness Week because the whole point is you want to fit in.” [32:13]
Segment start: [34:56]
Segment start: [39:59]
“Any man who chooses to wear that is telling women that he's amazing because he's purposely handicapping himself in such a hideous sweater. I mean, that is so gay. Gay people won't wear it.” [40:35]
Jesse Watters, on Trump and populism:
“He's the best when he's in that retail politic mode, when he works the McDonald's fry machine, when he puts on the trucker thing, send them out to a cattle ranch.” [04:45]
Kennedy, on Democrats and populism:
“But instead, they abandoned them for all the snobby, weird, elitist issues about transgender men playing in women's sports, and they bet on the wrong side of that issue.” [05:57]
Sandra Smith, on economic indicators:
“Gas is back down to $3… Egg prices are down 30%. But what is down… is consumer confidence. […] Republicans would be very smart not to ignore that.” [08:51]
Kennedy, on Epstein file release:
“This never should have been a football that went back and forth in order for either side to weaponize…” [25:20]
Greg Gutfeld, on “Trans Awareness Week”:
“If you are truly trans, 100% truly trans, you would reject Trans Awareness Week because the whole point is you want to fit in.” [32:13]
The conversation is fast, combative, irreverent, and blends serious policy with punchlines. The panelists alternate between political speculation, sharp critique, pop-culture references, and self-deprecating humor, with Gutfeld anchoring the banter and probing others with pointed questions.
Listeners of this episode get a deep dive into political messaging wars about affordability and populism, an insider take on the implications of releasing the Epstein files, culture war issues, and moments of comic relief—all through the distinctive view of The Five’s well-known personalities and their spirited roundtable style.
