Dana Perino
Hello, everyone. I'm Dana Perino along with Emily Compagno, Harold Ford Jr. Charlie Hurd, and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City, and this is the five. So nobody drives the day quite like President Trump. He announced today a sweeping crime and homelessness crackdown in Washington, D.C. temporarily putting the feds in charge of the metropolitan police for 30 days. He is also deploying 800 National Guard troops to the streets. This is all part of his plan to liberate our nation's capital after a string of violent episodes that have left residents on edge. There was that brutal attack on a former Doge staffer. And just this past weekend, shots rang out at a big gathering of teenagers in the Navy Yard neighborhood.
Jeanine Pirro
This is Liberation Day in D.C. and we're going to take our capital back. You're reporters and I understand a lot of you tend to be on the liberal side, but you don't want to get. You don't want to get mugged and raped and shot. That happened. This dire public safety crisis stems directly from the abject failures of the city's local leadership. The radical left City Council adopted no cash bail. We will bring in the military if needed. We're going to restore the city back to the gleaming capital that everybody wants it to be.
Dana Perino
And here's a familiar face. U.S. attorney for D.C. jeanine Pirro, vowing to change the laws that protect violent young offenders.
Emily Compagno
We need to go after the D.C. council and their absurd laws.
Greg Gutfeld
The president is going to do everything we need to do to make sure that these emboldened criminals understand. We see you, we're watching you, and we're going to change the law to catch you. These kids understand I can't arrest them, I can't prosecute them.
Emily Compagno
They go to family court and they get to do Yoga and arts and crafts. Enough.
Greg Gutfeld
It changes today.
Dana Perino
And DC's Mayor Muriel Bowser, responding to the president making the case that crime is down from previous years. Meanwhile, some in the media are suggesting there's a racial element to Trump's crackdown.
Harold Ford Jr.
They seem to hold their harshest criticism sometimes for cities that are majority black and brown.
Charlie Hurt
Do you see that and what do.
Harold Ford Jr.
You think that means?
Emily Compagno
I think that I have been dealing kind of with this issue for a number of years. It's kind of easy fodder on the campaign trail.
Dana Perino
All right, let me start with my former Washington, D.C. capitol Hill neighbor, Charlie Hurt. It's one of these things that when you live in this, in that city, you think, you wake up and you look at the Capitol. Wow, it's so beautiful, so great. But you have that awareness around you. And it's gotten worse since I left.
Charlie Hurt
Oh, yeah. I mean, I think that since if you look at the numbers, that, and I'm always very skeptical about all the numbers, but just from 2012 to today, the murder rate itself is doubled. It's a serious problem, and it has been a serious problem for a long time. And I think that, and I love, and I agree, nobody can hold people's attention the way Donald Trump does. He used this press briefing to even pitch his new ballroom repeatedly. He never stopped selling. He keeps talking. He kept shouting out to the reporters in the room, I know you're all liberal, but you want to have a safe city. The place was absolutely jam packed, I think, in at least some small part, because everybody in there does know these safety risks and they do know people who have been mugged or shot or worse in the city. And the idea that you're going to hide behind this notion that, oh, this is an impossible problem that can never be fixed. And politicians, that's kind of like the last, the last place they go when they don't want to face accountability for something and they don't have any solutions for anything. They just say it's a problem that cannot be fixed. And we've heard this for years, for decades about the Middle East. We've heard this for decades from both parties about the border. And Donald Trump came along and said, well, I'm not going to look at it the way you look at it and say that this is a problem that cannot be fixed. I'm going to actually try to fix it. And so then what did we wind up with in the Middle East? We wind up with Abraham Accords, which I think are the most important steps towards actual peace in the Middle east that we've ever seen. And if he is able to extend them, they could become even more powerful in that, in that regard. And then of course, the border, he manages to walk in and fix the border in one day. So I'm kind of open minded to the idea that, yeah, you know, D.C. is a kind of a cesspool in a lot of ways. It's a dangerous city in a lot of ways. But I don't know, maybe thinking about it from a totally different approach might fix it.
Dana Perino
Emily, no one, you didn't have any type of coverage of this in April when the governor of New Mexico is a Democrat, called in the National Guard to help with crime in that city. And good for them because they needed to do something about it. What do you think the legal issues that the some of the Democrats are bringing up saying that this, this isn't allowed, this is not constitutional. Is that going to hold up? Right?
Emily Compagno
No, no, it won't. Because I think President Trump has been very clear that he's exercising the specific powers afforded to him there in Washington D.C. and the mayor acknowledged in reaching out to the attorn, saying, I will be here to collaborate with you. Now, granted, she also pushed back on a lot of issues there. But I see him actually staying squarely within the lane that the Constitution afforded him and meant, by the way, Washington D.C. to be which was under federal rule. It was never supposed to be a state adjacent like it has become now. Frankly, that's certainly not what the framers intended. So how did we get here? Let's talk about it. So the laws and policies in D.C. like the youth Rehabilitation act and the age of criminalization being 18 and family court diversion, they have been totally distorted. The aim was to protect children from themselves, but we need to be protected from these children. The rate of recidivism for them alone, for these kids is almost double that of adult recidivism rates. And they are disproportionately committing these violent crimes. So the mayor says crime is down in D.C. but here are the facts. If D.C. was a state, would be the highest homicide rate. It is six times higher than here in New York City. In 2025 alone, there have been 1600 violent crimes and almost 100 homicides. And vehicle theft is up almost 600% in just five years alone. And a final note about these, the violence and the classification, because you hear a lot from the left when they argue or throw out criticism when they're not saying that things are racist or unable to be fixed. And it's always about, well, it's non violent or it's a misdemeanor. And all of those classifications have been sort of summarily magically introduced into the conversation. And it is not based in reality. Talk to any criminal law attorney or a victim or a family member and tell them carjacking is not violent or these burglaries en masse are not violent, or stalking is not violent or these burglaries are a misdemeanor. And they will argue with you every step of the way. So D.C. is the first city and plenty more will take, I think, this example, which will be whip everyone into shape, the prosecutors, the judges, the law enforcement, get the kids out of this family court. Bravo, President Trump.
Dana Perino
There's a young Democrat named Yamisi Egwebole that I've been getting to know a little bit.
Greg Gutfeld
And she how's she doing?
Dana Perino
She's great. And you're going to like her. She's probably going to be on your show sometime.
Emily Compagno
She's great.
Dana Perino
She's great. And she wrote a piece for Fox Opinion today, basically, Harold, saying that Democrats should not downplay the crime issue, especially for minority neighborhoods, because it's on their minds and they would like it fixed, too, and that maybe they're going to be okay with somebody trying to get a handle on it.
Harold Ford Jr.
Right. So good to be back around the table. I don't, you know, I try to, I try not to put race in everything. And in this instance here, Greg has said something many, many times before about crime. We were talking about the border in the context about why is it, why does the issue have to be. But you're not at all, Dana. But why, why do we have to talk about race, whether it's a Democrat or a Republican doing it? No one wants their pocketbooks stolen. No one wants their kids attacked. No one wants their sister or mom raped. And no one wants their grandfather shot while trying to go get on the train. I read a little while ago that Union Station in D.C. is a place where some of the National Guard will be deployed first in some other neighborhoods. I've been in the train station early in the morning there in Union Station. And it's trying to navigate a crazy place as you're walking through there. I can imagine, can imagine if I had my kids with me during that time. I think Democrats need to understand and Republicans. But Democrats just put the politics on it when President Trump talked about the border during the campaign. And Democrats, for whatever reason, some of the national Democrats and some big voices in the party, particularly the president and some around him, didn't seem to take that as seriously. That was an issue that hurt us, but more importantly, it was an issue that hurt the country. The crime issue. I heard Kash Patel today say during the press conference, and he was right, that the murder rate has come down, and Mayor Browser has said the murder rate has come down. But when you live in communities or you live in neighborhoods where crime is taking place, those statistics mean things. But if you're worried about your kids, worried about yourself, worried about your families, you want someone and you're expecting government to step up to the plate, I'd say one thing to everybody, New Yorkers, people live in Maryland, people live in Colorado, people live in Illinois, Florida, Georgia. We need to end cash bail. This no cash bail thing has not worked. Now, there were many who thought it might work because you were going to let people were going to jail. They were spending more time waiting for their trial than they were if they got convicted of something. But we're seeing now that the thing doesn't work. There ought to be a bipartisan effort to say, look, let's end it now. Whether you're, whether you're a Democrat that supported it in the past, it just didn't work. And we ought to be willing to admit that any Republican or Democrat has an idea that it doesn't work. Just admit when it doesn't work. This one has not worked. We should get away from it. Two, our Fox reporter, I can't think of his name, young guy, I see him on Bret Baier's show a lot, and I've seen him on your show in the morning. He asked, I think, the first or second question of President Trump during the press conference, and I think it's a legitimate question. He said, Mr. President, will you be willing to take this to other cities? And the president said, yes, I hope that this template works, that we find a way to take it to Chicago and Baltimore and Memphis and Denver, Atlanta and other places that may need it, where you have communities that are wrecked by crime. And then two, he raised a question which I'm totally opposed to the legalization of any drugs. And the president, apparently President Trump and his team are looking at reclassifying marijuana. And the reporter asked, how do you reconcile that if people think that could be a gateway to some other things that these kids are doing? And I thought, my former seatmate here and my pal here who talked about young people, I wouldn't be surprised if we're not drugged that are a part of that as well as these young people are taking, holding guns and handling guns and committing crimes with guns. It was interesting. I didn't realize you couldn't prosecute a kid unless they kill somebody with a gun or rape somebody with a gun. If they have a gun or they use it, that has to change. And I hope that the U.S. attorney there, my friend, is able to change that. And finally, again, I hope that people who want to inject race and stuff don't. Crime is. I don't care whom it happens to. I'm not happy if it happens to a Democrat. I'm not happy if it happens to a Republican. I thought the President was trying to play was cute with words about you liberals. Liberals don't like crime. Conservatives don't like crime. Blacks don't like crime. Whites don't like crime. Let's get rid of it. And that's why. That's why I was pleased and encouraged by what the President did today.
Dana Perino
Great. Of course you're going to comment on whatever you want, but let me set up. One thing that occurred to me today is that President Trump isn't doing this for himself, right? So he lives in the White House. He has car service through the Secret Service. He gets to go to Mar a Lago. He goes to his place. What's it called? The one, the nice place? Bedminster. And so it's like he's wanting to make the city better for other people. And he's like, okay, well, I have the power to try to help. So he says, we might as well give this a shot.
Greg Gutfeld
Most of the big questions that he addresses are like that. Have you noticed that? Whether it is the border or the Middle east or this, it's like he'll look at war and you'll think, oh, he's so simplistic about saying, what a waste. When he looks at war, he says, what a waste. All these people dying, they could be working and making money. That's how he thinks. And he's like, all these people dying, carjacking. That's bad. And all the academics are like, oh, he's so simple. Sorry, dude. He's right. You know what? I used to look at life, Dana, as something that would. Everything would go my way. And when things go wrong, that would be the exception. I realized that it's the opposite, that life is actually a series of inconveniences. And when something goes right, that you should be grateful. That's Trump. If you look at Trump expecting a smooth ride, you're Insane, right? But if you accept his brash, confrontational, unpredictable style as the system, when you get these big gifts, whether it is the closed border or the Abraham Accords, you go, wow, that's something else. And you're grateful for it. Trump is the human embodiment of life itself. In that it's challenging, it's unpredictable, it's a bit wild, it could be scary, but when things go right, it's wonderful and it's huge. I wasn't planning on saying that, but you asked me that question. Can I talk about crime?
Dana Perino
All right.
Greg Gutfeld
The homicide rate is six times higher in D.C. than in New York City. It's 18 times higher than Havana. Carjacking is up 547% from 2018 to 2023. The D.C. police commander was suspended for changing crime stats to make it look like they had dropped. They would report something that involved a gun or a knife as a felony assault because the FBI Uniform Crime System doesn't report felony assaults. This is the nation's capital. This is where a lot of people come because it's a. Our capital. It's like going to Disneyland and their oldest, greatest ride is a bottomless pit with spikes in the bottom. It's like, you get there, you go. This is what the country's about. Now, what if. Imagine if we didn't care at all if the adults just went home and got cigarettes or just left home, got cigarettes, didn't come back. That would be racist. But if you decide to stay and save the cities from this progressive ideology that only makes it unlivable for everybody but politicians, then that's rac. So if you stay and help, it's racist. If you choose to leave white flight, that's racist too. But why can't you leave if you're not wanted? How was that racist? Turns out that's the Democrat Party. People are leaving that. They're leaving colleges that are anti Semitic. They're leaving cities that are dangerous. Turns out the intolerant few causes the many to leave. You notice this? No cash bail. You bring that up? You brought this up a lot. Probably, what, a dozen times in the last two years? At least everybody agrees. Why doesn't it change? We need to ask why is no cash bail still around? Who is it profiting? Who is it benefiting? If everybody agrees and why can't we. Why can't we just stop it? There's something going on there.
Harold Ford Jr.
President should executive order that, too?
Greg Gutfeld
Amen.
Dana Perino
All right, well, maybe we'll have a press conference on that tomorrow. Coming up. Some Democrats are going nuclear in the gerrymander wars.
Greg Gutfeld
I was going to save all that.
Emily Compagno

Well, forget the economy, crime or the border. The Democrats are focused on how gerrymandering will save democracy. I'm leading the charge. None other than serial election loser Beto o'. Rourke. Now he's dropping F bombs in addition to the rob of his name and rallying the left to ditch the rulebook entirely.
Harold Ford Jr.
Listen, you may say to yourself, well, those aren't the rules.
Charlie Hurt
There are no refs in this game. The rules.
Harold Ford Jr.
We are going to win.
Greg Gutfeld
Whatever it takes. We're going to take this to him in every way that we can.
Charlie Hurt
Marry him.
Emily Compagno
I think that was caught on the open mic. All right, Harold, is this going to be effective?
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, you mean what Beto o' Rourke is doing? I think him raising money and trying to help these Democrats probably narrowly. But let's step back for a moment. And I hate to be redundant here, I don't. Again, I have no issue with governors and legislatures across the country. Once the census data comes in, looking at the data, figuring out how many members of Congress you're going to have because we have a set number, 435. And that number, that number never moves. But each state's allocation could move every 10 years because of population growth or population movement. So generally what you have is at the beginning of the decade, the legislature in the state begins this process. And one of the reasons such hyper focus on the partisan makeup of those legislatures around that time is because to the victor goes the spoils and the party in charge, and for that matter, the governor, he or she is able to sign the legislation that draws the congressional and state legislative district districts. Texas, interestingly, is one of only a handful of states, if not the only state, to midstream redistrict this century. They did it back in the early 2000s because they picked up a few more seats and figured, why not do it? I just think that just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should do it. We have a system in place now because the governor there decided to do it at the urgency of President Trump. They have every right to do it if they want to do it. They've had precedent for doing it. We shouldn't seem shocked that Democrats are going to respond. For Democrats to unilaterally disarm and say, we're not going to try to counter this in other states, even if it's difficult to do. I think people would say one of two things. One, you Democrats are weak, or number two, why aren't you responding in a serious and forceful way? Now, would I do it quite the way and say that, use the language that Mr. O' Rourke used? Probably not. But I get where he's coming from and he's trying to raise money to be helpful to them. The way to stop all this, Emily, in my estimation, is for Texas to say, you know what we're going to do, what New Hampshire is doing. New Hampshire has a Republican governor. They are not doing mid district or midstream or mid decade redistricting because the governor there says, who's a Republican, says, I'm going to wait for the census data to come in, which is probably going to be in our favor, and then we will redraw the districts at the appropriate time. That's what should happen. And the fact that it's not in Texas, that is why we have Beto o' Rourke and others doing what they're doing.
Emily Compagno
A logical proffer from the gentleman, Greg, but the reality is that we're seeing a world tour of hysteria by all of these election losers like Tim Walls and Beto o'. Rourke. And now they're Just shout that this gerrymandering is going to save democracy when the only thing we need saving from is them abdicating their duty.
Greg Gutfeld
You know, it's weird, I look at Beto o' Rourke and that there's just one feeling and I don't. I can only explain it is I would hate to be his father in law. Do you know what I mean? He's like the one that just doesn't do anything but tells you all these big stories about how he's gonna make sure your daughter's fine, but he's just a load of horse pooey. Doesn't he look like the kind of son in law you don't want? Anyway, so the big complaint, and Harold points it out is the midstreaming, which is like a card cheat, saying, it's not fair that you caught him cheating. So let's stop the game. Not you, Harold. I'm talking about the Dems who manipulated the census by flooding districts with illegals. They broke the rules and so don't get mad when we catch you. We decide to fix it. The era of the free punch is over. And the Dems were always the masters of the cheap shot, manipulating the census. They made their districts look like a smurf, bled out with all the blue splatter. Now Trump is back and it's not fair. They say it's a threat to democracy. No, it's just a threat to Democrats. There is a difference. I like how Dems are now saying that this is a revenge tour. That was a narrative they started before the election. I don't know if you guys remember. They go, if Trump gets elected, he's going to go after everybody. I remember saying, why do they think that? It's because they know they've been doing bad stuff. They know it's coming and they know they deserve this. I've never thought about retribution when I've done nothing. But when I do something, I definitely think, oh, Harold's coming after me. So gerrymandering Is Trump and the Republicans finally taking appropriate action against those who warrant it? It's not revenge, it's more like rebalancing. I mean, you screwed over millions of people with various hoaxes, the Russian hoax, Biden sane hoax, God knows what else. I mean, just take your licks.
Dana Perino
Well, I'm just gonna make a comment about Beto o'. Rourke. He is the bad penny of Democrats. He keeps. You forget about him and then he keeps turning back up and you're like, what, we didn't invite you over? And here you are again. The Democrats just last week, they were finally able to say, whew, Kamala's not running for governor. That's good. Let's put that one away. And yet this guy keeps coming up. It's like, imagine when the last year when he said in the 2020 primary, he said, hell yes, we're going to go door to door to confiscate your guns. Basically, it was like, oh, what more ammunition do we need here? And so I think for him, maybe silence is golden.
Emily Compagno
I guess Vanity Fair is regretting their decision. Charlie.
Charlie Hurt
Yeah, yeah. This is the rawest of raw politics. You know, I get people that you don't like gerrymandering. Gerrymandering is a terrible way to draw districts. But except for all the other ways, because who else is going to draw these lines except people that have been elected? That's the way this works. The real freakout is all about the fact that Republicans are doing it. Democrats have mastered it. They've done it brilliantly. The problem for them, of course, right now is they've done it so well for so long in every state that they can that there's no more room for them to do it anymore. And the only states left where you can have significant pickups are Republican states.
Greg Gutfeld
There you go. That's per. No one said that yet.
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, you said it last week, but you said it to answer this question when Democrats respond in New York and California.
Charlie Hurt
So I just hear something that he said before and he's like, that's brilliant.
Harold Ford Jr.
He thinks it's brilliant. That's how his mind works.
Emily Compagno
Brilliant all around. All right, guys, ahead, President Trump just made a game changing move to take on the cartels. That's next.
Harold Ford Jr.
I hear it all.

After tackling crime in DC 47 coming for the cartels. President Trump has reportedly approved using military against the Mexican drug traffickers at the border after classifying several as terrorist organizations. Here's the prez.
Jeanine Pirro
We want to protect our country. We have to protect our country. We haven't been doing it for four years and we love this country like they love their countries. We have to protect our country. So, you know, we're playing a tough game.
Greg Gutfeld
You know, Harold, in the green room, you said, I'm so happy Trump's doing this. When do we drop the bombs? I thought that was a little jumping ahead. But.
Harold Ford Jr.
Look, there are two or three big names in foreign policy on this issue that I've listened to over the years. One is our own General Jack Keane, who has said over the years that in order to do something like this, unless he's changed his mind in the last few months, I just hadn't seen it. But in order to do something like this, you have to have the cooperation of the country that you're going to go into. You want to ensure that that cooperation includes cooperation from the law enforcement and judicial system there in those countries. Now, I happen to. And then Secretary Mark Esper, who has been an opponent of this. I'm curious if Secretary Esper may think differently about this. We were on a panel together a year or so ago, and he made the comments and made some convincing, persuasive comments. But the President's persuasive here, too. At the end of the day, these cartels are as great a threat to our border and our kids and our communities. When you look at the. Look at the avalanche of drugs and other things and trafficking that's coming to our country in other ways, including humans. So if this talk here, I think sometimes President Trump is liable for thinking out loud with really, really big things, even things that can't happen. Now, some might have thought eight weeks ago, if we were sitting here, that the President could not have choreographed a plan to attack the mountain that has nuclear material in Iran and get our men and women out of there safely as quickly as he did. That plan was flawlessly executed. It was choreographed flawlessly as well. So I hope the President applies the same thinking and the same kind of planning he did to that if indeed he's going to do this. But this sounds like much like the Iranian issued the Iranian attack, we had the full cooperation of the Israelis who knocked out the air system. We're going to have to have the cooperation of Mexico and Colombia and other places if we're going to do this.
Greg Gutfeld
Charlie, that was amazing. I'm not sure if he's for or against it.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm for it. If you could get the cooperation of these countries. But unless you're able to do that, you can't do it.
Greg Gutfeld
That leads me to my other question, which is who do you cooperate? If they're corrupt, like they're authorities, everybody there is, like, in bed with the cartels.
Charlie Hurt
Yeah, well, that's, that's the including Herald. That's what Makes the problem such an impossible problem. But I've always sort of likened Donald Trump, the way he runs. He runs for public office the way a mayor does. He looks at practical problems. All the politicians in Washington are all these ideologues that stake out their ideological positions. And he's always looking at things like a mayor like, I'm going to go fix these potholes over here. It's why he's talking about wanting to fix the city. It's why he. Every time when he. During his interregnum, when he was not in D.C. he would talk about, like, when he went to D.C. it's garbage everywhere, trash everywhere. Talk about how gross the bridges are and all that kind of stuff. It's actually not a bad way to kind of look at things. It's a very practical way of looking at it. You know, if you went back and we could get our billions and billions of dollars that we have spent all over the world, Afghanistan, Middle East, Ukraine, and delve all of that money into, like, fixing Mexico, that might actually do a lot to, like, help average Americans.
Greg Gutfeld
I would rather get Mexico as a state than Canada. There's more fun stuff in Mexico, Dana. You know, way better people. You of all people know that. Little partier. What do you think about the fact that the Mexican president says there will be no invasion? She was on the other foot now, lady, huh?
Dana Perino
Yes. And if. And if anyone is confused about what this means, the New York Times had a gigantic feature this weekend, front page about the cartels. And the cartel said, we don't care. We are not going to stop. There is demand. We're making money. We don't care. So it would be ideal for Claudia Sheinbaum to do this herself, but she's unable to. And in some ways, if I were her and she were serious about cleaning up her country, I would say, can you help us out for 30 days and then just help me to get a handle on it? Because it is so endemic into the system. I don't even know if the bombing will help. The bombing will help stop the initial product from coming over. But we do have a larger problem. A lot of this stuff now is being made over here. I didn't realize until I did realize it, but the number stuck with me again today. In the last four years, there were 275,000 deaths from fentanyl. And so what the president is saying is that we want them to deal with it themselves, but we have to protect our country. So that's why the consideration is there.
Greg Gutfeld
Five times the number of deaths in Vietnam from the Vietnam War, from fentanyl. Just did the math.
Emily Compagno
Yeah, I mean, it's horrific. But I want to talk about the numbers for a second because this is what's driving the cartels and to understand the depths to which they will go to to prevent us from breaking them up. They make $50 billion a year alone just on illicit drug sales, about 30 billion annually from us, from this country. And then you add in the extortion, the kidnapping, the fuel theft, et cetera, that's another 6 billion. Plus the CJNG gang, which is sort of the new. The most dangerous gang at this point. They make over $13 billion just from crystal meth and cocaine. So we need to focus on the money laundering. When you talk about having $50 billion worth of illicit funds, what are they doing with it? Who is helping to cover for them? We know that China is their largest bank, essentially, and their largest collaborator in terms of the money laundering. But if we are really serious about this, then we need to go deep into these international. All of the bank accounts, all of the fiscal accounting that needs to occur to claw it back and cut them off from the funds, because right now there is zero accountability for it. So on China, these cartels are working feverishly right now to separate themselves from China. They are working to create all of the properties of fentanyl on their own and the other drugs so they don't have to be so dependent on them. You asked about the president, Sheinbauman, and what her position is right now. Mexico just had its most violent election in history. Why? Because of that deep corruption, including her. So we know that she helped put 10,000 National Guard onto the border in the last couple years. She said, oh, yeah, we want to help. But she said, but don't bring your people into the country. Why? Because it looks so bad. And also because if she really wanted to annihilate the cartels, then she would have done so. The deeply embedded corruption there in Mexico, I think, is hard to overstate. And during this time, by the way, cartels have pivoted. Canada only goes through 1% of their imports. They are proliferated Canada. And they don't have the same gang and cartel identification that we do here. So right now, Canada is what we were during the Biden administration on the southern border. So the way to win this, some say, is if we do have the special ops go in, it's to pit the cartels against each other, have these dogs obliterate each other, because if it's us against them. They will stop at nothing to protect their income. And we cannot rely on Mexico as an ally to keep it strong. And if you want to know more, follow Katarina Schultz. She is an incredible.
Greg Gutfeld
I think now I know everything.
Harold Ford Jr.
But the other, the other way to do is we should stop using the drugs. We should stop using drugs.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, good point.
Dana Perino
Just say no.
Greg Gutfeld
Do you think cartels have HR departments? I don't know. It's kind of curious. They're like, like, maybe they just need a good HR department. Up next at Frozen Face, Lib wants MAGA barred from burritos.
Emily Compagno

A TDS meltdown for the history books. Bravo star. And liberal podcaster Jennifer Welch is calling for MAGA voters who back Trump's border policies to be banned from ethnic restaurants in America.
Emily Compagno
I've had it with white people that triple trumped. Yeah. That have the nerve and the audacity to walk into a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, go to perhaps their gay hairdresser. I don't think you should be able to enjoy anything but Cracker Barrel and get your fat out of the Mexican restaurant. Get your fat asses over to Cracker Barrel.
Charlie Hurt
So, Dana, I keep waiting for TDS to subside, and it's not.
Dana Perino
No, it's like they just keep giving us more ammunition. When I read this morning this story in the teleprompter, I was like, bravo, star. Never heard of this lady in my life.
Greg Gutfeld
Thank you.
Dana Perino
But what better way to reveal that you don't know anything than to speak for immigrants? She's not talking to immigrants. If you actually look at any of the polling, it says that many of them are like, yeah, there's some problems here. They might not like how it's all going. I'm not saying that all immigrants are happy with this, but the majority say, yes, we need to have a secure border and yes, we have to get tougher on crime. And also the slap at Cracker Barrel. I don't know why they don't learn their lesson, but I assume that they don't watch us, that they live in their bubble, and then they're continually surprised that they keep losing.
Charlie Hurt
So, Greg, Dana makes a great point, as always. She calls herself a Bravo star. She doesn't even have a Wikipedia page.
Greg Gutfeld
Who is this ugly bitch?
Charlie Hurt
Because I had to look her up. I'd never heard of her before.
Greg Gutfeld
No, who is this ugly bitch? I mean, I've never heard of her. I watch some Bravo. And I mean that since seriously, I don't know who she is. She's like 95% plastic. If you had to throw her away, you'd have to put her in the recycling bin with the cans and the bottles. Can you imagine if we treated liberals like that? Demanding that if you're gonna support getting kids sterilized or let rapists walk free, you should not be allowed to enjoy peace or prosperity in your city? Get your bony gross butt to Baltimore. And it is a weird way to support minorities. Hey, white people, take your business elsewhere. You see minorities know this. You learn that your own worst enemy is her white virtue signaling idiot who claim to help minorities, but their only suggestions is to starve you of income. She's, by the way, Bravo. That's like a network channel devoted to Caucasian alcoholics. I mean, it ain't Bet lady.
Charlie Hurt
Harold. Why do they have to drag Cracker Barrel into this?
Harold Ford Jr.
I like Cracker Barrel like you do. I've said before, I think when candidates and parties lose and they can't figure out which way to go, you get these kinds of crazy things being said. I mean, as I've said on this show before, there was a group of people once, President Obama won twice, who still didn't believe that he was a United States citizen. They went down that path. This is another example of that. I think Democrats are crazy and they don't want to eat Chick Fil A because they think the guys politics are different. I love Chick Fil A. I love Taco Bell, I love Cracker Barrel, and I love all these other restaurants. Democrats focus on the issues, we're losing on the issues. This is not the issue to be focused on.
Charlie Hurt
So are you going to quit your favorite Mexican restaurant?
Emily Compagno
No, never. I just. I keep thinking of Bon Jovi's. You know, you give love a bad name. Like this is what gives white women a bad name. To sail in on the assumption that all black people vote the same way and all Mexican people vote as a monolith and these assumptions that she's gonna save them and that the way to save them too would be to ban them and have economic extinction. I just. I cannot. And I'm sort of shocked at how stale this playbook is because this is a replay of 2020 and I don't quite understand it. So whatever oxygen she's getting Please, someone suffocate it.
Greg Gutfeld
What is that face made out of? Seriously, she was like wearing a mask of herself.
Dana Perino
Why would you. Leave the nose.
Harold Ford Jr.
Leave that lady alone.
Greg Gutfeld
Wait a minute. Harold. Harold. Lord, bless our hearts.
Harold Ford Jr.
Harold, Bless our hearts.
Greg Gutfeld
Collectively says stuff like that. All bets are off. You can say whatever you want. She opened the door. She's got to take it.
Charlie Hurt
Whatever. They're not learning their lessons. All right, the fastest is up next.
Emily Compagno
Dinner's easy.

I heard this over the weekend. Beanie Babies, Elmo, and now Gen Z is going crazy for Labubu dolls. The Chinese made plushies are selling out online. I think I have a few in my house. And resale prices are soaring. Some folks are even trying to steal them. Mass Steve stole about $7,000 worth of these things in California. You seem to be tickled by this story.
Greg Gutfeld
Show them again. I just want to point something out that these Labubu dolls that they're gonna show right now at any am I just gonna point that they have less plastic on their face than the woman in the previous block.
Emily Compagno
They look like the new munchie cheese. Remember munchie cheese when I grew up with them?
Dana Perino
Yeah, absolutely.
Harold Ford Jr.
Dp, you have any of these things? You know, anybody got these?
Dana Perino
Do I have one of these things?
Harold Ford Jr.
Do you know anybody that has any of these things?
Dana Perino
I do know. I know like the little kids like them. I didn't know that it was like a Gen Z.
Greg Gutfeld
No adults. It's adult thing because I never had.
Dana Perino
Any of these things.
Charlie Hurt
No, that's what's so creepy. But it's adults. Like Elmo was like for kids, I think. And that's what's weird about this. I think that people just need to find friends.
Emily Compagno
I got the skinny. So basically there's a totally amazing K pop band and they put one on a purse on a bag. And that is what started the craze. It literally sold out in like 20 minutes. And then now the whole world goes crazy for these things to tie them on their bags. Except I don't know if it's quite in anymore because my friends that were already over it. Totally.
Harold Ford Jr.
So it's on the 5, 10 year old, not 10, 11 year old.
Greg Gutfeld
Once it's on the 5, the trend is over.
Harold Ford Jr.
Is that the New rule.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes. Because that means we're always, like, behind on that. We're ahead on politics, behind on that.
Dana Perino
That's true. I didn't know about this like six weeks ago.
Emily Compagno
Yeah.
Harold Ford Jr.
Anything else, guys?
Charlie Hurt
We covered it heavily on Fox and Friends this past weekend, so.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, there you go.
Harold Ford Jr.
One more thing.
Charlie Hurt
So we're behind, but maybe ahead of.
Greg Gutfeld
The five.
Dana Perino
It all.

Time now for one more thing. I saw this today is Israel has a version of Dancing with the Stars. And this couple, they really pulled out all the sobs. They dressed as the president and the first lady and they had like a great routine. I think they're probably going to win. Check them out.
Greg Gutfeld
That is.
Dana Perino
I think it's. I think it's great. And, well, I hope they win. All right, Greg.
Greg Gutfeld
Awesome. That was beautiful. Tonight we've got Cat Timp, Michael Malice, Jeff Dye and Tyrus tonight. Hey, let's do this. Animals are great. Animals are great. Animals are great for Harold's kids. You know, when a bear comes into your home, who's going to defend you? How about a tiny little Pomeranian? The bear enters a home in Vancouver, Canada. He thinks he's got it to himself. He loves a good sectional. Who doesn't? He comes over, maybe he'll have something to eat. Check out the bar. And what happens? Holy crap. He's confronted by a three year old. Where is the little dog? There he is. Watch this. There goes the bear. And look who's behind him. Scout. Oh, my gosh.
Harold Ford Jr.
That looks like my dog.
Dana Perino
Wow. No fear.
Greg Gutfeld
He ended up eating Scout. But that was a fun video.
Charlie Hurt
It's not the size of the dog.
Greg Gutfeld
And the fight, it's the size of the fight.
Harold Ford Jr.
We got a Pomeranian named Stormy. Done the same thing. First in major league baseball. Jen Powell here, I hope I'm pronouncing your name correctly. Umpired the first major league baseball game a woman's ever umpire. The kids, I mean, the players on both sides could not have been more congratulatory. I was watching this and my daughter said, dad, you mean to tell me a girl has never umpired a baseball game? I said, no, not a major league baseball game. She started out the lower league. She made her way up. Congratulations.
Greg Gutfeld
You know what you did beforehand? She had to tell everybody about her day.
Charlie Hurt
Did you see her first call, Emily?
Harold Ford Jr.
I did.
Charlie Hurt
She called it strike. It was three inches out there.
Emily Compagno
Watch what happens.
Harold Ford Jr.
She's just like the guy.
Emily Compagno
She's just like the guy over and over. Can you believe this?
Greg Gutfeld
What was that?
Emily Compagno
The lesson is don't try to tow your own car. You will fail. Leave it to the professionals, guys.
Dana Perino
Oh, my gosh. Okay, well, that's it for us, everybody. Have a great night.
Greg Gutfeld
