Jesse Waters
But Greg. Hello, everybody. I'm Jesse Waters along with Kennedy, Harold Ford Jr, Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. It's five o' clock in New York City and this is the five Democrats are ready to throw down to protect the bad hombres. Tough talking libs are rushing to defend the Demsurrectionist trio who stormed that New Jersey ICE facility. The that hold suspected murderers, child rapists and MS.13 gang bangers. Homeland Security says more arrests are coming. But now Hakeem and AOC are warning everyone not to lay a finger on their crew. Or else. What happens if they were to go and arrest these members or if they would try to sanction them during the House, they'll find out. What would you do though?
Dana Perino
I mean, what.
Jesse Waters
It's a red line. It's very clear. No one's intimidated by this dude. No one. And so there are clear lines that.
Harold Ford Jr.
They just.
Greg Gutfeld
Dare not cross.
Harold Ford Jr.
You lay a finger on someone, on Representative Bonnie Watson Coleman, on Representative or.
Kennedy
Any of the representatives that were there.
Harold Ford Jr.
You lay a finger on them, we are going to have a problem.
Jesse Waters
But before there was the New Jersey Ice center, there was the Maryland dad, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem on Capitol Hill smacking Fang Fang's ex lover for playing a gotcha on Abrego Garcia.
Greg Gutfeld
Madam Secretary, you agree that the letters miss and the number 13 in times Roman numeral font that they are doctored on this photo, right?
Kennedy
Congressman Abreco Garcia.
Greg Gutfeld
No, no, I'm just asking about.
Kennedy
This photo wasn't based off of tattoos.
Dana Perino
It was based off an entire case.
Greg Gutfeld
And I'll accept. I want you to have credibility and I want you to be seriously. Is this doctored or is it not?
Kennedy
I am taken quite seriously, Madam Secretary.
Greg Gutfeld
I have a seven year old, a six year old and a three year old. I have detector. I'm just asking you, is this doctored or not doctored?
Kennedy
Sir, the protocols in the case built against.
Greg Gutfeld
Can you answer the question?
Kennedy
Were exactly the same.
Jesse Waters
And we're getting a very big update for nobody's above the law crowd. A federal grand jury returning a two count indictment against a Milwaukee county judge who allegedly helped an illegal immigrant evade ICE agents who waiting to arrest him outside her courtroom. All right, Dana, the. The threats from Hakeem and aoc, are those credible threats?
Dana Perino
They are not. And this is what's pretty crazy. The leader of the Democratic Party and on the House side, maybe Chuck Schumer they could arm wrestle for, but that's basically who they are, right? So they took the posture of Threatening federal agents. Now, let's just posit that we have video. So normally, in a normal environment, you see one of your members attacking an ICE agent. You might say, I've instructed all members to follow the law. End of story. But instead, they want to basically take them on. And 90% of the country wants the illegal immigrants to get out. Maybe Hakeem Jeffries could take them aside and say, guys, this place has been open since 2014. None of you ever went there. Why? Why all of a sudden now when this is the issue that President Trump actually succeeds on? Let's talk about inflation. Let's talk about those prices. He's not doing any of that. I think that he sounds very hollow. Pete Buttigieg yesterday. Remember him? Mayor Pete? He was in Iowa yesterday. Why Iowa? Well, he wants to give a rally in 2028. He's got it in his sights. The problem is what he said about Abrego Garcia. You know, Maryland, man, Maryland dad. He said, they're saying, like, oh, this guy is a criminal. No one person, least of all, no one politician gets to decide that you are a criminal. Now, this is at a rally because he wants to be the President of the United States. And you have judges that make that determination all the time. Yes, one person, one man, one woman gets to decide if you are a criminal. He came into the country illegally, and we know that that is a crime. If they don't agree that that's a crime, they should raise their hand and make that clear. And the other thing is, they're digging in on a serial domestic abuser. So once again, the women aren't protected by the party. I think that Hakeem Jeffries gets it backwards. And they are really needing somebody like the Obama of 2008 to be like, the. Who is the Obama of 2026 that is going to come forward? I'm not saying it's Michelle Obama. Don't get. Oh, I was just going to say that.
Jesse Waters
Greg, how are the Democrats handling the issue of deportation?
Greg Gutfeld
Not well. If they don't like this facility, there is a solution. They could take them into their homes. I mean, if you, you know, don't just pay lip service, do real service. You got a sofa bed somewhere in your house. Take in one of these gang bangers or alleged rapists and murderers. Show them where your heart is. Hakeem is like, I have to be honest here. I'm going to go purely superficial. He is the most unwell looking political leader out there. The guy looks like he hasn't slept since 1989. But the worst part is he has nothing to show for it. Like, he's a great symbol for the Democrat Party. He looks tired, he's worn out, he's miserable, but he doesn't do anything. Now, you compare that to Trump or Vance or Musk or RFK or Rubio. There's all this energy. Yet they're rested and ready. They have a purpose. They've got foundational principles. They know what to do. And here they're walking tall. The Democrats are the walking dead. And the reason is this. Trump has squatted in the house of common sense and there's no room there for the Dems. They can't come home because they condemned what's in that house. They're like the college kid who renounces his capitalist parents and their heartless lifestyle, and so the parents cut him off. Where do you go? Where do you go? Well, you defend gang bangers, you defend trans athletes, you know, you martyr people who are criminals. Where the hell is Van Hollen? Did he go on tour? I mean, where is his wife beating, bro? Like, remember how that was over all over the media every day and we were forced to cover it and we knew the guy was a scumbag and also the gang banger. And yet, you know, they're gone. They disappeared. It's like it never happened.
Jesse Waters
Do you have any advice for the Democrats, Harold Ford Jr.
Harold Ford Jr.
I do. Good to be with you, by the way. I hope so. I think we should stop falling into the trap, guys. I understand due process and I understand wanting to ensure that people are treated fairly. But at a time in which the Senate and the Congress, and particularly Republicans and the Senate and the Congress are debating what the budget should look like next year, you have Republican senators arguing with Republican senators about Medicaid cuts. You have Republican congressmen arguing with Republican congressmen about who should have taxes cut for them and who should have taxes raised on them. Why we're not offering those things, I don't know. Again, I'm not suggesting at all that we shouldn't be protecting people's individual rights, but everyday Americans put Donald Trump in office because he wants to ensure that we're protected from gang bangers and criminals who happen to be here illegally. They also put him in office because they believed that he was going to revive and revitalize and rejuvenate the economy in ways that would help every American. And I contend he's not doing a great job there. I contend we should be offering ideas on how we reshore manufacturing to the country not by using tariffs, how we can educate kids, how we can educate engineers and electricians. So when those jobs do come back, we're prepared. We need to be positive. This is, this is exactly us falling into the trap that President Trump and I would argue many on the Republican side who are political want us to. Let's stop it, get back to the issues.
Jesse Waters
Democrats during the pandemic should have tried to break open schools that were closed. They shouldn't be trying to break open ICE facilities.
Kennedy
Don't get me started. I mean the proof is in the pudding when you look at outcomes where there is school choice and those are the kind of the issues that non political parents have have woken up to really, really care about. One of the other ones, unfortunately for Democrats is immigration. And they look at this because it was the forgotten voter who was activated during the 2024 election cycle. The person who was like, well they closed my Covid business, they kept my kid out of school. You know, my prices have gone up. George Clooney doesn't care. You know, he's endorsing a corpse until he decided that it wasn't politically convenient for him and the Democrat establishment statistics. So they need to, I think you're absolutely right. They need to refocus on those forgotten voters because they're like, you forgot about us. There's only so much political energy you have to spend and they are spending it like attention triumphs on this one issue at this one facility instead of putting out the kind of plan that Harold's talking about because all of that manufacturing, immigration, economics, that has been co opted by the Republican Party. And if Republicans keep winning the way they have been the last two weeks, and I mean the Trump administration specifically watch Democrats numbers continue to go down because they are falling into the trap and they're pulling themselves further left which means further off the cliff. And the fact that they don't recognize the rational play that they have to make right now to those rational voters or to those forgotten voters, I don't care. Shame on them. They don't deserve a spot of potato.
Jesse Waters
Shame on them.
Harold Ford Jr.
Shame, shame.
Greg Gutfeld
The Dems problem is they're in a woke crouch.
Jesse Waters
Show them the crouch, Harold. Show them the crouch.
Greg Gutfeld
You're right, it's a woke position.
Harold Ford Jr.
I don't know that position. I never get in a crouch like that.
Jesse Waters
No you don't.
Harold Ford Jr.
It's not my move.
Jesse Waters
Hard on your knees, not on the show. Up next, President Trump racks up trillions in deals for Americans as he marvels at the Middle east.

Greg Gutfeld
It'S the dawn of a new Middle East President Trump and Qatar for day two of his Mideast diplomatic blitz putting commerce over conflict as he cuts more economic deals and courts peace. Donald the dove lifting sanctions on Syria and meeting with their new president urging him to sign on to the Abraham Accords with Israel. He also signaled some wiggle room for a new Iran deal 47 also securing a historic $1.2 trillion economic commitment in Qatar and complimented them on the decor.
Jesse Waters
As a construction person, I'm seeing perfect marvel. This is what they call perfect. We appreciate those camels.
Greg Gutfeld
I haven't seen camels like that in a long time. Both tall, handsome guys that happen to be very smart.
Jesse Waters
I want to make a deal with Iran. I want to do something if it's possible. But for that to happen, it must stop sponsoring terror. We are currently exploring normalizing relations with Syria's new government.
Harold Ford Jr.
As you know, I am also ordering.
Jesse Waters
The cessation of sanctions against Syria to give them a fresh start.
Greg Gutfeld
And as Trump racks up trillions in deals from the Gulf states, all the Dems and media want to do is hound the prez over a luxury jumbo jet offer from Qatar.
Jesse Waters
My attitude is why wouldn't I accept the gift?
Harold Ford Jr.
He does not believe in rules and laws and norms.
Jesse Waters
He thinks they're for suckers.
Greg Gutfeld
This flying grift or con Air Force One. What this is all about is getting.
Jesse Waters
A $400 million aircraft for Donald Trump when he leaves the presidency.
Dana Perino
This administration is corrupt.
Greg Gutfeld
It's kind of funny. It's a funny story. Kennedy. Although it does give them something to talk about because everything in this, in this trip is a win. It's just deliverables. Everything one after the other is a win, win, win. Here you play with the little story about the plane.
Kennedy
Yes. But if you, if you read the left leaning media they're like well he hasn't really done any deals with with Syria and Iran and he called the new Syrian president a terrorist, a jihadist not long ago with. But the plane I don't think the plane is that great of an idea to accept because I think that if we are forcing Democrats and the Biden family, which was famous for decades of grift, and if we're holding them to account, then I think it's a political mistake to be doing something that could be construed as the same thing.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, you got to act better than your. Your predecessor.
Kennedy
So you have to employ the political golden rule, which is if it's wrong for them, it's wrong for us. Why distract from the phenomenal winds that have happened over the last 10 days?
Greg Gutfeld
You know, it's interesting, Dan, I asked this question in the break. The other one, not that other one. He notices the camels and the marble. If they were to come here, what do you think they would notice?
Dana Perino
I would love. Please come with me and walk the streets.
Greg Gutfeld
Why do you have so many people on the streets?
Dana Perino
Wouldn't it be fun if President Trump came and we were like, sir, can we walk? Will you walk with me to my dance lesson today? Because you've got to see this and do something about it. I'm dying for him to go on the subway, and then it'll get fixed, and that would be an amazing thing. I wrote down distraction. I'm crossing it off. No need to talk about that because she said it. I think this is remarkable, what he's done with Syria. So, yes, yes, jihadists, yes. Prisoner at Abu Ghraib, yes. Somebody who got rid of Assad. Everybody forgets that Assad is cool in his heels in Moscow, hasn't been thrown out of a window yet, so I guess that's a plus for him. But in Syria, it's remarkable that President Trump would say, okay, I'll give you, here's a deal. If you meet these benchmarks, you got to get rid of terrorism. You got to do all several of the things, and they're tough requirements. Then no more sanctions on you. So this is a chance for Syria, for the first time since 1979, to join the rest of the world. And you can see the putting these pieces together. What I do like about economic diplomacy is that it is our superpower. We can use it very well. And they want to invest in America, we can invest in them. I think economic ties are very, very good. I also believe in medical ties and, you know, the health ties, bow ties, freedom now. Bow ties, I'm not really for. I mean, on some people, they're fine. Whatever. Bolo ties, though, I really like. The last thing I would say is, we said that. He said that there is wiggle room on Iran. But he says a lot of things about making a deal with Iran. But he does always say, but they should not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon. But that gets sort of pushed to the side because people want to play and suggest that he is going to be willing to allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I don't think that's fair to him. But I think that the White House comms people need to understand and maybe they do that he has to say that over and over again because the media or the left or whoever it is wants to try to pull him back from that red line.
Greg Gutfeld
Harold, it seems that this is kind of the way Trump always viewed this foreign policy, all commerce, no combat.
Harold Ford Jr.
So I differ slightly. It's hard for me to differ my pal Dana on a substantive issue, but I do, I do on the Syria thing. For this reason. I don't know where the national strategic security interests are and what we're doing. I take you at what everything you said.
Dana Perino
If they joined, they joined the Abraham Accords.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm talking about Syria.
Dana Perino
Yeah. I mean, if Syria joins the Abraham Accords.
Harold Ford Jr.
Right. But they have been. And we really. And he asked the Saudis also. The reason I say this is because the president says a lot of things the beginning of a week and then a couple weeks later he says something different. We remember we had a lot of tariffs on a lot of countries and he suspended all of them for 90 days and kept the ones on China. And then things got wishy washy with the market. He took the things off China and said, we now have another 90 days for that. You take a plane from a group of people that we've sat around this table. I've heard all of us say the Qataris, they harbored Hamas. I didn't hear him at all say, I'll accept this plan if you guys renounce this and tell me you'll never do this again. It all seems a little about him now. He could be exactly right. I'm not suggesting the president is not right about this, but I don't understand how you go to a country and say to people in front of you, the 2020 election was rigged. I don't believe it was. But even if it was, the people you're saying in front of Mr. President, they don't even have elections. The thing that troubles me the most is I think about it in an overarching way. I don't mind us resetting and talking about a recharge and A redo of our role in the world. But we are forced for good, for democracy, for rule of law, for decency, for righting wrongs. And if we're going to change that, I think we deserve to hear more than just the president being in a U. S. Saudi conference praising these men for the great work that they're doing and for the business deals they're doing. I love commerce as much as anyone, but commerce to me does not at all, is not at all greater than who we are as a nation and what we mean for the 250 years we've been on this earth because we've been a force for so much good, and I hope and pray we continue to be. And I just want to hear the president articulate.
Jesse Waters
Well, you don't have to worry about China. You're all high and mighty with the Mideast, but you don't act that way with China.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm the one that acts that way with China. I want to bounce.
Jesse Waters
You love China. You hate tariffs, and you want to do business.
Harold Ford Jr.
You're not going to put me in with the communist China. That is. You're absolutely wrong.
Jesse Waters
Just did. Rewind it. Just put you in with them. And Dana is so right. What he's trying to do is create a peace and prosperity framework in this region so we can pivot away from it, go back to the western hemisphere and realign ourselves into the nearest east. Listen, if you peel Syria away from Russia and you lift sanctions and then you cut a nuke deal with the Iranians and lift the embargo and get the oil back online and tell the Saudis to pump more oil, it drives the price of oil down. It starves the war machine in Russia and forces Putin to negotiate with Zelensky. Then you sell chips and arms to the Saudis and you get these guys to do business with Israel. You step back up with the Abraham Accords so everybody can trade with each other and trade with us, and then we all get rich. The only thing hanging up this thing is the Hamas situation. If one little thing. If Netanyahu can settle this thing, then the Saudis will come on board and we can all be fine and on the plane. Harold, he's going to take the plane, and then you guys are going to do nothing about it, and the press is going to ride on it. And then if you win in the midterms, you're going to impeach them. So what?
Greg Gutfeld
Okay.
Jesse Waters
And then Kamala is going to win, and she's not going to go on the New jet. She's going to go on the one for 1990 because Boeing can't get it.
Greg Gutfeld
Together, will never be flown. Would you fly a jet from Qatar? You got to take the whole thing apart. You have to take every single piece apart. And look at it.
Jesse Waters
We can't even build a plane. You think we can?
Greg Gutfeld
It is a Boeing plane.
Harold Ford Jr.
You know what Greg is really saying to you in your fake.
Kennedy
Worse than.
Jesse Waters
Ikea for if Trump invites you to fly on the plane, you're going.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg, I'm not going on a cutter chat.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, you are. Hey, Greg, Come to Mar A Lago. You're going in your face.
Greg Gutfeld
All right, up next, Dems thought they could Febreze him away, but the stench of Biden lingers.
Harold Ford Jr.
Bring back the shame.
Jesse Waters
Of a man.
Greg Gutfeld
This river Faithfully. Jesus.
Dana Perino
I can explain in the break it.
Jesse Waters
Was worse than Greg's song.
Dana Perino
Hey, it's a new It's Faithfully with Willie Nelson and the original thing. Anyway, I thought it would be better than that. I'm sure it's great. Anyway, there's a new talking point emerging from the Democrats who are looking to get away from the barrage of brutal Biden decline headlines. The bat signal going out for the word forward, not looking backward.
Greg Gutfeld
We're looking forward. We're just looking forward.
Jesse Waters
We're looking forward.
Greg Gutfeld
We're looking forward. I'm interested in going forward. That's backwards, not forward. That's very backward looking. I don't really want to review all of it because it's past history.
Dana Perino
Not so fast. It's hard to escape your past, especially when there's a new book on the COVID and, and it's of Joe Biden's decline. And there's a new one every week. Now we're learning how Team Biden brought in Steven Spielberg to use his Hollywood magic and help coach the former president for the State of the Union. And that ill fated debate. Now Democratic 2028 hopefuls are being forced to address the revelations. Here's Mayor Pete. Would the party have been better off.
Kennedy
If we had just not run for reelection?
Dana Perino
Maybe.
Jesse Waters
And you know, right now, with the benefit of hindsight, I think most people.
Harold Ford Jr.
Would agree that that's the case.
Jesse Waters
We're also not in a position to wallow in hindsight.
Harold Ford Jr.
We've got to get ready for some.
Jesse Waters
Fundamental tests of the future of this country and this party, some of which are going on this very year, many.
Dana Perino
Of which will come next year. But Greg, it's not like Mayor Pete was a governor. He was in the cabinet and did he not even think it was strange.
Greg Gutfeld
That he should stay in the Cabinet where he belongs? This is not actually about the Democrats. This is about the media. They are the rats in this story. They're like a member of the gang. In this case, it was the gang of the White House, the Democrat Party and the media. They're the member of the gang that is now narcing on everybody else so they can get prosecutorial immunity so they don't go to jail. But the problem is, in this case, they're just trying to save their jobs. These books are coming out to protect them so they can start talking about, oh, listen to these shocking revelations. Biden would forget people's names, but, dude, this is not shocking to us. We were talking about this, but they want you to buy into. This is shocking. So you think that it was shocking to them, like, yeah, can you believe this stuff? No, no, no, no. We saw it and so did you. You're lying. You're putting these books out to protect your hide. What did they lead with? The wheelchair story. That was supposed to be the big story. And why did they choose that as the big story? Because it was about the physical issue and not the mental issue. But we don't care if Joe Biden's in a wheelchair.
Dana Perino
Right?
Greg Gutfeld
We don't care about that. That's not going to affect how he leads a country. The mental incapacity, the 25th Amendment stuff, that's what we cared about. That's what the media is worried about. You finding out that they covered for that. The big question is, of course, if we are all on the same page about Joe's cognition, what does that say about his executive order? Since. I don't know. You want to start with the. I don't know what year you should start, but all the pardons should be negated. They should all be taken away. But this explains why the media did the expose now and not then. Because they wanted this stuff to happen. Wasn't about Joe. It was about the whole Democratic piece that they were protecting. And now they could come out and go, hey, it's not us. It's not us. It's them. They're discussing. This is why the media is dead. Doa. It's over.
Dana Perino
Jesse, where does the Five go to get its apology?
Jesse Waters
We don't expect an apology. A lot of people don't know this. Greg is in a wheelchair. Have you ever seen him stand up? No, we put him in a wheelchair.
Harold Ford Jr.
Standing right now.
Jesse Waters
Exactly. All right, so what's the Democrats message? Dana, Is it a Maryland dad? Is it eggs? What is it? No one knows. No one cares. The other thing is, why are we paying consultants to tell them to say stuff? Still, after all these years, you're paying a guy a million dollars to say, we're looking forward. What was this guy doing? Yup. You can't change the past. No looking forward. Here's your invoice. Good luck with that. The media is not even buying it. This guy tried it on cnn. They were like, oh, no. Well, you gotta look backwards because no one's gonna trust you guys ever again. And this is about trust. How do they regain their trust back? Well, if you say you didn't notice anything, you're a liar. If you say you noticed something about Joe but didn't do anything, you're a coward. If you admit kind of that you knew he was shot but you didn't say anything because you wanted to beat Trump so badly, then you're just a conniving, manipulative, power hungry, sketchy politician. So wherever they go, they're toast. This is like January 6th with Republicans. They were asked for four years about that day. Was the election stolen? Was January 6th horrible? And they all individually had to come up with the right answer. Some say the FBI set it up. Some say it was a horrible day. Trump said it was the most beautiful day of the year. But they were all forced to come to terms with it. And that's what every Democrat needs to do. They need to be asked about Biden's health and they need to be on record on it. That's how you gain trust back.
Greg Gutfeld
But what about the media? You're leaving out the.
Jesse Waters
You took care of the media, I'm taking care of the Democrats.
Dana Perino
Well, I want to ask Kennedy about the Hollywood, because at this point, George Clooney is like, well, he doesn't even recognize me, so I'm not coming in to help. And now they have to hire Steven Spielberg.
Kennedy
So Steven Spielberg took over for the movie AI from Stanley Kubrick, who passed away and he had to finish the film. So I think someone in the Biden administration or in his inner circle was so dumb, they saw AI and thought, well, let's just do that with Joe. We'll have Steven Spielberg manage the whole thing and maybe get ourselves a handsome animatron like Jude Law. And he could play the part of the President because voters would love a 50 years younger Joe Biden. Amtrak Joe. And the other great nugget that came out today was at that June fundraiser. This is June of Last year where Julia Roberts and George Clooney raised tens of millions of dollars for this ticket, Joe Biden didn't even know who George Clooney was. And his little minder had to go, Mr. President, this is George. I know who it is. And it's like, no George Clooney. And they couldn't even acknowledge that. So he truly is a zombie. He is unkillable. He is doing so much damage. And the whole look forward thing is even worse because if you don't examine your mistakes, you are going to repeat them. And if there is threat of that, voters will never trust your party.
Greg Gutfeld
Can you throw that picture up again of him with the celebrities?
Dana Perino
Biden?
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah. Look how upset Morgan Freeman is.
Dana Perino
Harold, you do not have yet a Democrat that wants to run for president, that is public about wanting to run for president, who has said that was wrong. And does that need to happen in order for them to actually be able to move forward? Because they can say all day long, we are looking forward, we are trying to move forward, but you're not actually taking a step until you deal with it.
Harold Ford Jr.
I differ. So I think the country settled that for us. They elected Donald Trump again and they said that close the door on that and move forward. I do agree with you in one regard that they needed to offer ideas. I mean, can you imagine if Democrats were out endorsing the Brad Gerstner, Ted Cruz, Cory booker idea about 1K accounts for kids being born. Right. If they're born regardless, regardless of what their income is in their family, providing the first $50,000 of individual income tax free, the first $50,000 of business income tax free, that we're going to ensure that kids have tutoring, after school and summer initiatives for schools that hold teachers accountable in schools all across this country. We're going to go after China by doing what? We're going to strike a deal with Ukraine so we can get their rare earth minerals as partners with them so we don't have to import them from China. And we're going to, we're going to ban TikTok from here because they capture too much of Democrats. There's so much there for us to be doing if we continue to fall in the trap of talking about Joe Biden, bless his heart, he gave 40 plus years to this country of service and I'm grateful for it. But we have a country, we have people in this country who are expecting leadership and ideas from us. And until we do that, we don't deserve to represent them anymore. If we continue to fall into these.
Kennedy
Traps, you should write their talking points. That's a much better thing to say than our let's, let's look forward.
Harold Ford Jr.
Mine are written for me, then I give them to them and they still don't.
Dana Perino
They don't. Actually, that's. You know what? You can tell yours aren't written for you because it's not part of the bat signal that everyone else pays attention to. Okay, ahead, structural and intersectionality. Move over, Greg. James Carville has a list of banned words and phrases that the Democrats should ditch.
Harold Ford Jr.
Can't help it if I'm lucky.
Kennedy
Well, you know who is a hollaback girl? I'm about to tell you. The Democrats cross stick. Adrian is back. James Carlos poking his shiny bald head out with a list of lefty buzzwords Democrats need to toss if they want to win again.
Greg Gutfeld
Don't use generational change because there's a.
Harold Ford Jr.
Lot of people that are older. Don't use words like structural. Don't use the word equity. Use equality.
Jesse Waters
This is another really stupid word.
Harold Ford Jr.
Oligarch knows what an oligarch is.
Jesse Waters
I wouldn't use the word community.
Harold Ford Jr.
I wouldn't even use the LBGQT plus or whatever it is.
Greg Gutfeld
I just call people gay, the lesbian, or trans.
Jesse Waters
Don't use words like intersectionality.
Kennedy
Intersectionality. Harold, do Democrats just need a thesaurus? Will that magically fix all the problems?
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm still writing down the words that change. Intersectional, nihilism, equity. I think he's on to. I mean, these words are things that I understand where he's coming from, but I think he's trying to tell the party. Get back to where people are. You've gotten so far outside on the periphery, and the periphery isn't necessarily bad. It's just irrelevant and people don't care about to get back to talking about the things that people care about. But it's worth listening to.
Kennedy
Get rid of TikTok and bring back manufacturing.
Harold Ford Jr.
Cut taxes.
Kennedy
That's absolutely right. And cut spending. So, Jesse, I didn't realize that James Carville has a special brand of love for you. When you see him talking like this, does it warm your cockles?
Jesse Waters
Well, he told me to shove a tampon where the sun don't shine. And I've invited him on the show and he's too afraid to come on. So I don't know what the problem is there. And I want to have tampon on, too, but he's not man enough to come on. I'll even give him a milkshake if he comes on so he's invited. But what happened was under Barack Obama, the party shifted from middle class to, like, post grads. And all these post grads, they worship these professors. And all these professors don't talk for normal people. They talk to impress other professors. Just like the journalists do their jobs to impress other journalists. And they use words like intersectionality and oligarch, and no one knows what the hell they're talking about because they're just trying to look smarter than they really are. So they get into this world of theory, right? And these theories don't work. Communism, queer theory, feminism. None of this stuff actually works in the real world. And so it hits reality, and then all the professors are like, okay, well, like, we're just gonna go to the other room, like, let you guys suffer the consequences of all this garbage. And that's where we are now. We're suffering from the consequences of stupid professors and people trying to impress these stupid professors. And we just need to get back to James Carville, Democrats.
Kennedy
He's either brilliant or totally deranged.
Dana Perino
Who, me? I thought Steve was talking about you, too. I want to go.
Kennedy
No. Jesse's milkshake brings all the boys to the Y, right? James Carville. Is he. Is he running a 1990s? I know that song by the Playbook. Yes, you do.
Dana Perino
Yes, I do. So here's the thing, Carville. These are the dumbest debates. Internal Democratic debates are the worst because they'll say, stop saying oligarchy. And Bernie says, I'm going to say oligarchy more. And then they just have this fight back and forth. But the advice shouldn't be stop using the words. It's about stop using the ideas. Stop believing the ideas. If you take a look at the fact that President Trump did the eo, the executive order on diversity, equity and inclusion. So a lot of companies were like. Actually, I think a lot of companies were relieved. Oh, sorry. We have to get rid of these. Sorry. But Disney, Kohl's, Dollar Tree, and others, they just changed the name to Belonging. So the ideas still exist. They're not actually changing their positions.
Kennedy
So you've always said that if you control language, you control society.
Greg Gutfeld
It is about power.
Kennedy
Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
And the thing is, I mean, ideas are meant to reflect an idea, but what if the idea itself is toxic? Then the words become camouflage. That's why they don't say abortion. They say pro choice. Because just the thought of it, of abortion, is so disgusting, you turn it into reproductive health care. Carville has a problem, though. He's cherry picking the words when just like weeks ago, he was calling Trump supporters Republicans, Nazis, that this was a return of the Third Reich. I don't know what's worse, the deconstructionist rhetoric or his constant demonization. I don't think he had. I think he doesn't have anything to replace those words with. And it goes back to what, Harold, you were meant to do. The problem the Democrats has is bottomless. There's no foundational principles anymore because when they looked at the things that Trump is for, they have to decide that they're against it. So if you're for law and order, you're against it. If you're for biology, you have to be against biology. If you're for security the border, you have to be against that. What about fitness? What about protein? You have to be against that. Against that, too. What about technological progress? You have to be everything that we now stake as good. They have to be the opposite. So they have nothing to build on. Their entire party is now on quicksand. What can they believe in a woke grouch in a woke crouch.
Harold Ford Jr.
He gave Democrats the two best things in early 90s, he said it's the economy, stupid. And then during, right after George Floyd that we started doing, he said the stupidest things Democrats have said is defund the police. We should listen to him. He can give us that foundation.
Kennedy
You wish he was in charge of the party.
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, I think he's, he knows he's not ready to do it, but his, his spirit and his instincts are what should be.
Dana Perino
I think it would have been David Hogg should have said that.
Kennedy
I think if I woke up in the middle of the night and James Carville was hovering over my bed, I would ready myself for a probe. Up next, the Trump administration is about to fix your car's most annoying feature. You're about to love it. Stay with us.
Harold Ford Jr.
I want it.
Greg Gutfeld
I get they've ruined our economy.
Harold Ford Jr.
The EPA is eyeing a rollback of what some say is your vehicle's most annoying feature. Lee Zeldin, the EPA administrator, posting on X quote, start stop technology, where your car dies at every red light so companies get a climate of participation trophy. EPA approved it and everyone hates it. So you know what? We're fixing it. Are you annoyed by this when you drive or when you hear the people talk?
Kennedy
I know you can turn the feature off, but it is still so annoying. And if we're actually doing something measurable, I think I'd be okay with it. But the fact that the gains are really theoretical, it's not enough to justify it, but it's these little things like that. And also taking a shower that's got some water pressure and flushing a toilet where you only have to flush it once. Those are little things that have a big impact on people's lives and how they feel.
Harold Ford Jr.
Greg, your thoughts on this?
Greg Gutfeld
This is crazy because I grew up with a car like that. It was my, like, 76 Cutlass Supreme. It would just die at the stop sign and I have to start it up again. And then all of a sudden, I'm sitting in cars now and I'm going, like, what's wrong with your car? Oh, this? And nobody could explain it. Like, what is this? Why? Why is it doing it? And then I go, like, aren't you going to need a new starter in like six months? Because you're. I mean, it's like you're using the starter now 10 times as much. And those things cost like 800 bucks.
Dana Perino
And they're made in China.
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, God, tell me about it. Harold loves China.
Harold Ford Jr.
CP your thoughts? And I do not love China.
Dana Perino
I'll say this. I think Lee Zeldin gets phrase of the week climate participation trophy. Excellent. That's a choice.
Greg Gutfeld
Smart dude.
Harold Ford Jr.
Prime time. What are your thoughts about?
Jesse Waters
I never even thought the government should have mandated seat belts in cars. That's what happens. You give them one thing and then they want to put everything in the car. What's next? What, are they going to put an abortion clinic in every car? See, Harold, you got to stand strong.
Harold Ford Jr.
What did you think about the slavery decision that the government made?
Jesse Waters
Commercial.
Harold Ford Jr.
One more thing.
Dana Perino
We joined ICE on this.
Jesse Waters
Time now for one more thing.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg Michael Loftus. Tonight, I should put up the thing. It's Gutfeld, Chael Sonan, Tyrus, Emily Campagno. That's a great show. And remember, what did I miss? A new game show available now at Fox Nation. This is the final episode tonight. It's gonna be great. Speaking of great, humans are great. Check this out. These were firefighters actually, like, pulled a little kitten out of a storm drain in Arizona. They heard the kitten's cries. There's the kitten. And they used a rope to hoist the kitten out. They named the kitten Riley after the firefighter who saved her and then ate the kitten as some ritual sacrifice for some evil Satan God.
Jesse Waters
Wait, they were Haitians.
Harold Ford Jr.
No.
Jesse Waters
Allegedly. We have not confirmed those reports. Just kidding. Haitians, we love you tonight. Let's just go to what we're going to show you now. The five has a podcast. It's about darn time, people. Listen. After the show airs here, you can now download it and listen to the whole audio.
Greg Gutfeld
Who hosts it?
Harold Ford Jr.
Apple?
Jesse Waters
Spotify? Fox newspodcast.com? it's our own podcast, you idiot. It's just us. They make this a podcast.
Greg Gutfeld
It's not a podcast.
Jesse Waters
You're complicating everything.
Harold Ford Jr.
A replay.
Jesse Waters
All right, tonight, Jesse Waters prime time. Don't ruin it any more than it already is. Ruined. Johnny caught up with Clooney.
Greg Gutfeld
No, George. Did Obama use you?
Jesse Waters
Were you? By Obama.
Greg Gutfeld
Why are you so nervous?
Harold Ford Jr.
You're shaking.
Greg Gutfeld
By Obama, George.
Dana Perino
Oh, wow, Johnny, you really make him do something.
Greg Gutfeld
Tried to intimidate him.
Kennedy
Clooney has that effect on all the fellas.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes.
Dana Perino
I'll go. Okay. Oh, I don't know who's driving this train. Another day, another wild video out of Florida. This time, a golden retriever dished the doggy paddle for a ride on a jet ski. Instead, the aquatic pup was spotted in a marina sporting a yellow life vest and being towed by his owner, Florida dog.
Harold Ford Jr.
Wow.
Jesse Waters
Nice timing, Dana. That's it for us. Have a great night.
