Jesse Waters
Hello everyone.
Sandra Smith
I'm Sandra Smith along with Kayleigh McEnany, Harold Ford Jr. Jesse Waters and Greg Gutfeld.
Kayleigh McEnany
It is 5 o' clock in New.
Sandra Smith
York City and this is the five brand new charges announced against the suspect accused of gunning down two Israeli embassy workers and bragging about it. Elias Rodriguez, charged with two counts of first degree murder and other charges. They're also looking at hate crime and terrorism charges over the deaths of Yaron Lushinsky and Sarah Milgram. They were a young couple that was about to get engaged, shot in cold blood as they were leaving a benefit at the Capitol Jewish Museum in D.C. with the suspected killer later caught on tape chanting this.
Jesse Waters
No. No. Free.
Greg Gutfeld
Free Palestine.
Sandra Smith
Free Palestine. An eyewitness describing the shocking scene and how she spent 10 terrifying minutes with the accused gunman.
Kayleigh McEnany
They moved us all into, like, an area and we're trying to keep us safe. Not understanding that we were in the room for 10 whole minutes with the murderer. He's like, oh, what kind of museum is this? And I'm like, it's a, it's a Jewish museum. And he asks, do you think that's.
Sandra Smith
Why they did it?
Kayleigh McEnany
In reference to the, the gunshots we had heard. And I was like, yeah, maybe, I don't know, but I don't think so. I hope not. And that's when he reaches into his bag and pulls out a keffiyeh and says to me, I did it. I did this for Gaza.
Sandra Smith
And now, in the wake of those horrific murders, there's new scrutiny of college campuses. That have left radical pro terror propaganda fester amid a growing rise of anti Semitism. Just yesterday, a vile scene outside of Columbia's graduation with students burning their diplomas. And breaking earlier, the Trump administration terminating Harvard student visa program. I want to get to more on that in just a minute. But Jesse, to you first on this. Just this heinous, awful crime that occurred last night. And the accused gunman, what did you think when you saw him there chanting Free Palestine. Free Palestine.
Jesse Waters
Well, he's a killer. And that chant is getting a little crazy. They make excuses for these chants, Sandra. You know, we're all for free speech, but when you start committing murder after chanting it, you're going to bring down a lot of hell on that movement. They're now going to revoke visas, they're going to freeze money. You saw Harvard. They can't even bring in foreign students. You're going to get spied on if you're at these rallies. Now it's getting dangerous for these people. They want to stop the war in Gaza and that's fine. You can criticize Israel, you can even go so far as to call it a genocide. But when you start committing heinous acts like this, not only is this movement going to be decimated in the United States, it's going to backfire in the Middle East. We're on the precipice of possibly getting an Iranian nuclear deal. Abraham Accords. Taking out innocent people in Washington, D.C. is not going to lead us to peace in the region. It's only going to make things worse. The left has more assassins than ideas. You go down the list, you got Luigi, you got the Scalise shooter, two Trump assassins, the Kavanaugh guy, the IVF bomber. Some arsonist tried to take out Shapiro's home. So this left wing violence is compounding. And then there's this media environment that permission slips it. Oh, you know, it's just a phrase. From the river to the sea. You don't understand the historical context. They're financing it, they're nurturing it at universities, and then they're downplaying it after the fact. You saw it in the Oval Office last night. You know what? It's only a few white farmers being murdered. I mean, we're not at the genocide level yet. I mean, this is what they're doing. And this has to stop now.
Sandra Smith
So look no further than social media, Kelly, to get a glimpse of what would lead someone to carry out this. Just this awful thing that happened to two people who were apparently in love and looking to get married and engaged and married soon. This accused gunman reportedly posted Death to America on some of his posts. Unhinged posts. That also includes praise for Luigi Mangione.
Greg Gutfeld
Your thoughts?
Jesse Waters
Hmm.
Kayleigh McEnany
The dehumanization of life. To Jesse's exact point. Your own had just purchased Sara a ring this week.
Sandra Smith
Yeah.
Kayleigh McEnany
Imagine you purchase a ring for your fiance not knowing days later that you both will no longer be here. This is tragic. And we have to look at the roots of what is happening on our universities and look no further than just a little bit from that museum. Look no further than George Washington University. I will never forget the phrase that was lit up on the wall of the library at gwu. What was the phrase? Glory to our martyrs. Well, the martyrs, so called martyrs killed with their bare hands a 10 month old boy named Kafir Beavis. A 4 year old boy named Ariel Beavis. Those are your martyrs. Wow. And then they put from the river to the Sea up on that university. Those kids were suspended. But you know, that's just a mile away. Go up the eastern corridor. Let's come up here to New York and what do you find? Columbia University. Barry Weiss has detailed all of this. A professor who called October 7th awesome. Well, let's go a little bit further up the eastern corridor and here's what you find. A professor at Cornell who called the attacks energizing, exhilarating. Professor at Princeton or kids at Princeton who said globalize the intifada. When you have this insidious ideology coming out of our universities, it needs to be rooted out. Anti Semitism needs to be pushed out of society because this was predictable. This was predictable and it should have been stopped. And thankful God for President Trump having the will to say we're stopping this.
Sandra Smith
On my watch, he did. And there was also obviously a lot coming in from members of Congress reacting to this, condemning this, with the exception of Ilhan Omar who ran away from a reporter when asked about this.
Harold Ford Jr.
Harold, why don't. I don't have any. First of it's going to be back around the table. I don't, I don't answer for her. I'm a Democrat and a proud Democrat. What happened in Washington D.C. has nothing to do with my party. This was an act of hatred that should be condemned. We are human beings and when human beings treat human beings like this, they should be punished. Hatred, unfortunately, Sandra, is bipartisan, but we shouldn't even be talking about the political leaning of it either way. I hear what, I hear what we're saying and I think I Understand a little bit of it. But this, this. I think I understand where you're coming from. But this act here, whomever is unable to condemn this, whoever is unable to speak about how we shouldn't be talking this way, and we should be trying to heal and not divide, that person should be. That person should be punished. And if you act violently, whether it's Luigi or whomever. What I don't understand with the Luigi thing, there are people who are supporting this guy. There are people who are sending money to him. Something's deeper and rotten in our society when someone, in broad daylight, the beginning of the morning, shoots down a person and people are supporting, supporting that person because they tend to think his ideas around something or something they may support. He killed someone. And this, this person who's been accused of this, the young man there in the image there, he shot down and killed two people. I don't care what his politics are, he should be punished. So I just. I just caution all of us. I get what I think I understand a little bit what we're doing here, but this is an act of hatred and an act of violence. I wish it was all just one party. Even if it was my party, we could figure out a way to deal with it. But unfortunately, hatred and division and violence knows no political party, knows no geography. There's something rotten and something wrong, and we've got to figure out how we address it as a society.
Sandra Smith
I just want to make sure I update that she did eventually, after running away from a reporter and not responding when asked about these shootings last night. Elon Omar did post to Twitter eventually saying she was appalled by the deadly shooting at the Capitol Jewish Museum last night. And she's holding the victims and their families and loved ones in her thoughts. Greg, your thoughts?
Greg Gutfeld
As much as I adore Harold, I must disagree completely. Imagine if this were reversed. You can't, because there are no large groups of young people taking over colleges on behalf of some militant white nationalist movement. Hatred like this isn't bipartisan. So how do you explain this when what you're shouting for leads to the result that you're shouting for? And when a Jewish student goes to school and sees these mobs, do they have to be satisfied with the reassurance that it's just words? What's your problem? No one's bothering you. This school year ain't gonna be. Ain't gonna be easy for them. In a perfect world, this act would be a wake up call for the naive, romantic activist who adopted the cause because climate Change imploded and BLM went bankrupt. This violence is exactly what Hamas wants. And they appreciate your support. You know, all the rhetoric aligns. Your hobby is their mission. If you don't see that now, I mean, if you're a young female activist at Brown on her daddy's dime, this is in college theater, something that you do for fun until you get that internship at the law firm. This is a hobby that has deadly consequences. Two people died because you feel really good. You know, walking down Fifth Avenue or blocking the Brooklyn Bridge wasn't that great. When you hear the word genocide, you can argue whether it's correct or not. That's not the point. It's. Who benefits from the genocide narrative? It's not Israel, it's Hamas. The idea that Israel is like, hey, hooray, let's go genocide everyone. That's idiotic. That's the worst thing for their country, their brand, and their relationship to the West. This is why we're always talking to them about peace. The genocidal accusation directly benefits Hamas, which is why they have been obviously exaggerating the numbers, which they still do today. Or they place offensive weaponry, terror cells, and hostages among citizens to drive up the numbers, because the more Palestinians die, the better it is for them. That's their only way of keeping power. The only way to maintain power right now is to propagandize the globe and to create fear through carnage like that. So you got to wonder, well, if we actually acquiesce, say we're no longer supporting Israel, do you think this extremism would stop? Hell, no. They make it about something else, about the west, because that's how it always is. So this problem will be here forever. It's just going to take on a different. A different costume.
Harold Ford Jr.
But, Greg, the only other thing I said is the anti. These pro Hamas people, they came and protested Kamala Harris's events. They came and protested Pelosi's events. And if I remember correctly, President Trump went to Dearborn, Michigan, because so many of that group was mad at Democrats. Look, I just. I just don't think. I think it's bipartisan. We can differ on that. But I just. This. What I want to be clear about. I don't answer for this. Omar. Congress, the Congresswoman, Omar, and none of my Democratic friends do. And I am not only appalled, I share Greg's position. What you shared there about the Palestinians. I couldn't agree with you more. And I hope, at a minimum, that nothing changes on our government's part and our support.
Kayleigh McEnany
Omar, is part of the Democratic caucus.
Harold Ford Jr.
So is Margaret Taylor. Right. But I could point to Republicans that are part of that did things.
Kayleigh McEnany
All I'm saying is students on universities do not hail from the right who are chanting from the river to the sea. I can assure you President Trump went.
Harold Ford Jr.
To Dearborn and embraced that mayor and those others there who had been saying that Democrats were not enough in favor.
Kayleigh McEnany
Of the Palestinians embrace the Muslim community, which is much different than these people on college campuses.
Harold Ford Jr.
I would agree.
Greg Gutfeld
But.
Harold Ford Jr.
Okay, fair enough.
Sandra Smith
We appreciate that. And our thoughts are with that lovely couple that is gone just way too soon. Coming up, first lady malpractice, Dr. Jill Biden accused of elder abuse. Since 2017, Disney has grown its U.S. workforce by nearly 20,000, employing 160,000 people.
Kayleigh McEnany
Across all 50 states.
Sandra Smith
And with more than $30 billion in investments in U.S. parks, Disney is creating nearly 10,000 jobs. Learn more at TheWaltDisneyCompany.com economic-impact.
Kayleigh McEnany
Well, and Alyssa, you know, one of the things.
Sandra Smith
I think is that the people who.
Kayleigh McEnany
Wrote those books were not in the White House with us.
Greg Gutfeld
I'd like to turn it over to.
Harold Ford Jr.
Jill and for any comments she has.
Greg Gutfeld
And.
Jesse Waters
Joe, you did such a great job.
Sandra Smith
You answered every question. You knew all the facts.
Jesse Waters
Dr. Jill Biden catching heat for elder abuse. Getting torched by a WaPo columnist and D.C. s longtime social queen, Sally Quinn, for dragging her barely functioning husband into another campaign.
Sandra Smith
Honestly, I blame Jill Biden for this.
Kayleigh McEnany
Jill Biden is his wife.
Sandra Smith
And if Jill Biden had stood up.
Harold Ford Jr.
Had gone to him and said, joe.
Sandra Smith
You can't do it. And if you do, you're on your own. I'm out.
Kayleigh McEnany
He wouldn't have run because he couldn't.
Sandra Smith
Have done it without her support. And, you know, she clearly was in.
Kayleigh McEnany
Favor of his running.
Sandra Smith
And I just think it was a.
Harold Ford Jr.
Terrible disservice to the country.
Sandra Smith
I thought it was just elder abuse, really.
Jesse Waters
Got it. Yeah. First Lady Mick Biden is not the only person who pulled A Weekend at Bernie's. According to the author of that new Biden book, Team Joe was reportedly amazed at the media coverage they were able to spin. Alex Thompson sharing a conversation where a Biden insider admitted journalists failed to be skeptical about the president's declining condition. All right, Greg, so what are we on almost half a week through this big Biden book? What's going on?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, I am with Sally quinn. I think Dr. Jill should lose her medical license. No more practicing medicine. Dr. Jill, whatever that was. Look, I have one question to Sally Quinn. Where have you been? You're so brave, speaking truth to power now that the power is out of power. She didn't start talking about this stuff till after the debate. Where was this lady? She should have been sharing the risk with the few and rare journalists who did speak up when it mattered. I mean, did she ever say, God bless that son of a bitch Peter Doocy? No. No, she. You know, she should be asking about the cowards of legacy media. Maybe she's too close to them. The new defense. And I love this. You can see this on the left. This is no scandal. No one was hiding his cognitive problems. We all saw it. So now they're gaslighting. They're gaslighting this, but they don't understand. The story isn't that we didn't see it. It's that you saw it and you denied it. You knew it was there. You refused to cover it, so shut up. The Dems are like a used car lot that has a reputation for selling lemons. You know, they sold us two big lemons recently. You know, Kamala and Biden. So what do you do when your reputation is ruined? You know, you shut down and reopen under a news. A new name Value Jet, you know, became Air Transport. Lance Armstrong became Livestrong. Remember that? Philip Morris became Altria. GMAC became Ally Financial. Weight Watchers is now ww. So either the Dems got to come clean or they got to shut down and find a new name. Because the only way I said this to Howard yesterday, the only way for the Dems in the media can regain trust, is to turn on the establishment like Trump did, and create their own lane. One person only takes one candidate because that's the only lane for the survival of the Democrat Party and in a way, Hollywood, too. You could say Taylor Swift is a huge talent, but she has no credibility. Bruce Springsteen, no credibility. Robert De Niro, no credibility. They all lost their credibility.
Jesse Waters
Howard, your name was invoked. Do you believe that your party needs to shut down and reopen under a different.
Harold Ford Jr.
No, I do think that. I think Greg's the broader point, and I think the thrust of his point is that if you are not able to differentiate and distinguish yourself from this and then begin to talk about a vision for the country that's populated with ideas to make the country stronger and healthy and great. A lot of the things the President talks about, you're not going to win. No one knows what goes on in anyone's marriage. I don't know what she told him or what she was suggesting. He Do I do believe that she had some great influence in that White House. And she probably if she'd said we shouldn't run, he might have decided not to run, but he chose to. And we're now hearing all these things. I come back to where we've dealt with this story now for a good little while. And I know this book is out and I still don't understand how these people that wrote the book, who covered all this campaign in this White House, uncovered all this over the last five or six months and are now going to make a lot of money off for telling us things that I wish they had reported. We were talking about it around this table. We joked a little bit the day or so ago about maybe you and I said you said you wanted to thank a note of apology. Greg said he wanted the money.
Jesse Waters
Greg wants royalties.
Greg Gutfeld
I do. And reparations.
Harold Ford Jr.
And it's only reparations he likes. And then the But I do think that this story, the Bidens are going to have to live with it. Those around him who didn't, who saw this and who didn't come forward and say maybe you shouldn't, you should do what you said from the outset, which was to be a transitional figure in politics. Had he done that, none of this would be being talked about. Now.
Jesse Waters
Last night on Primetime Kaylee, you said that the Justice Department should appoint a special counsel and look into the Biden cover up. Would you subpoena Dr. Biden?
Kayleigh McEnany
Yes, without question. Look, people say are blaming this all on the Democratic Party. I think that's unfair and here's why. Because I've been in the West Wing and it is easy to cocoon the president if you want to. We didn't have to cocoon President Trump. He's out there every day. You see him, he's with it. But if you wanted to cocoon the president, you could and you could do it with about 10 people knowing press secretary would probably know. The chief of staff would certainly know. We know the first lady staff would know. We need to breach that inner circle to find out what was going on. The only way you're going to do that is with subpoenas. I think the only way you truly do that is with a special counsel appointed by the doj. This is gravely serious. And it's serious because of the issues that it connects to. Senator Bennet was at the White House. He's a Democrat. He has no reason to tell mistruths to people. He left the White House after an immigration event in 2022. Jake Tappers told this story, and when he left the White House, he said he was stunned by how President Biden was. No wonder immigration policy is such a mess. There's another account in the book about a discussion involving the Middle east. And the Democrats on the call said, I don't even believe he understands the issues. So when you're not understanding international issues or immigration policy, and these are Democrats, that inner circle has to be breached. You got to get to the 10, you got to go through KGP, KJP, Anthony Bernal, Mike Donilon, subpoena them all. Special counsel is necessitated.
Jesse Waters
Do you think the Republicans will go along with something like that?
Sandra Smith
I mean, there's huge questions here. I mean, I don't think anybody's claiming, you know, not going to the level of criminality, but there's. Are you okay? So, okay. So there is. You know, these are really serious questions for the country. And if there was this big of a cover up, the question should certainly be put to the first Lady. She was at his side for some of these moments. I'm just been watching the tape we've been rolling on. I mean, remember that G7 summit in Italy where he wandered off and we were told that, that I just checked. It was a Reuters fact check that was taken out of context. But people at home were deciding for themselves what they were seeing. The detailed pictures we were seeing, that they're the cards they were putting in his hand for press conferences that detailed when to say thank you, when to stand up pointing directions, where to go on a stage. Nicole Wallace, remember the interview where he sat down and he got up before the interview was over and walked off of the set, but we were just not supposed to believe what we were seeing with our own eyes. And that went on for a long time. I look at Joe Scarborough saying, obviously I was wrong. He says when he's in this new interview with Jake Tapper, it's either they were, you know, ignoring it or they had convinced themselves to the point because they had set the bar so low because of what they were seeing from him, that if he had good days, that okay, he was okay. So I don't know which it is there, but there's obviously very serious questions that will continue to be asked.
Jesse Waters
Did Biden have good days or were the days just less bad than the day before?
Sandra Smith
That's the point.
Kayleigh McEnany
Scary question ahead.
Jesse Waters
The media is pumping up the Trump buyers remorse hoax.
Harold Ford Jr.
What think do you drink when you win Indy 500?
Sandra Smith
Disney has been bringing happiness to families and communities for over a century and continues to be a powerful economic contributor. Since 2017, Disney has nearly doubled spending on film and television content and has grown its U.S. workforce by nearly 20,000, employing 160,000 people across all 50 states. And with more than $30 billion in investments in U.S. parks, Disney is creating nearly 10,000 jobs. And explore Disney's impact at the Walt disneycompany.com economic-impact.
Kayleigh McEnany
Celebrates a major victory with his big beautiful bill passing the House earlier this morning. Liberal media is busy recycling a tired narrative about how voters feel about his presidency. Newsweek pumping out this headline quote, has Trump buyers remorse already set in. But there's a twist to all this. The authors of the piece explain how it's not good news for Democrats. I had a little assumed bias that.
Jesse Waters
They would have had buyer's remorse.
Greg Gutfeld
There were about 9% of folks that.
Sandra Smith
Voted for Trump and they said they would change their vote. However, only 25% of those would vote for Harris.
Jesse Waters
As much as they're not happy with.
Sandra Smith
Trump, they do not think Democrats offer a viable option.
Kayleigh McEnany
I wonder why. And it looks like Democrats may be stuck in the ditch for quite some time.
Greg Gutfeld
Donald Trump, for all of his profound personal and cerebral limitations, is a culture maker and is a player in the culture. The Democratic Party above all has abdicated any role in participating in the cultural process. Instead, it stands at the end of the pipeline saying please $5 and please.
Jesse Waters
Vote and is ignoring 90% of where politics happens.
Kayleigh McEnany
I mean, Harold, I have to say I agree with him. Trump became a cultural force and you guys had something in the Obama years. He was a cultural force. Still is. But how do you achieve that?
Harold Ford Jr.
We'll be back, but right now we're not taken seriously. It's interesting as you look at the numbers, there's always a correlation in every poll I've seen since I've been an adult in politics that shows that when one party's numbers are going down, one or the favorabilities are going down. They generally correlate to the other party's numbers going up. In this instance, it's not happening at all. Both parties are just going down. The Democrats have less credibility on issues that matter. You think about what's happened, Kayleigh, over the last few weeks. It's been reported by an in house newspaper here at our own station here that President Trump has told European leaders that he has no intention of increasing sanctions against Putin if Putin doesn't capitulate right away. He accepted a plane from Cutter for $400 million, which people have raised some Questions about Walmart. Nike announced that they were raising prices or intend to raise prices over the next few weeks. And Moody's downgraded our debt largely because they don't believe we're serious as a nation about paying down our debt. But having said all that, in a normal time, the other party would pick up some Democrats. If you don't get serious about the cultural issues, you won't be taken seriously or perceived to be serious on issues that matter to people when it comes to their wallets and their pocketbooks and their kids and their future. So I don't disagree with your proposition at all. But I do believe that there's going to be a Democrat that finds the lane that Greg, I think articulated very clearly and well. And then they're going to again populate that lane with real ideas and answers to people's challenges.
Kayleigh McEnany
Greg, you got a compliment from Harold.
Greg Gutfeld
Wow, butter me up. You know, can we talk about that guy's hair?
Harold Ford Jr.
Which guy?
Greg Gutfeld
The guy that was just talking. I have an issue. I have an issue with people who clearly spend too much time creating an ostentatious display of a body part. It's like a woman who gets huge breast implants. He's doing that with his hair. So he's. Wait, is he going to, is somebody going to tell him when his hair is too big, should he get a hair reduction? Get a hair. No one's going to tell him that because it's very, it's very self conscious. You may quibble or disagree strongly with some of Trump's policies, but not the whole package. And I think this is such a rare thing for Republicans to have street credibility. It's probably never happened. There's nothing Trump is doing that isn't real, isn't transparent, isn't in your face. We saw that South African presser, man, he wanted stuff done, so he did it right then and there. I think that's what Gen Z loves him. And even his detractors realize that, like his grittiness and his energy is undeniable. And it, and Harold's right, it doesn't exist on the other side. It's like you're comparing Mike Tyson to Chris Hayes. So I go back to the previous block with Trump, you know what you're getting, it's not covering up anything. You know, and the detractors should detract a little less because unlike the Dems, Trump is treating you with respect. He's telling you exactly what he thinks. He's not covering up anything. You know, if you ask him Something. He's going to tell you what you want to know and then more to a point where you just want him to shut up. But that's a compliment. He's telling you, I assume that you can handle the truth.
Kayleigh McEnany
And.
Greg Gutfeld
But the Dems, they don't feel that way about their own constituents. They don't tell them the truth. They lied about a candidate for four years. They put a terrible candidate ahead to replace him because they couldn't tell their constituents the truth because they didn't have enough respect for him.
Kayleigh McEnany
You know, I will say, standing up for that MSNBC man, he had a full head of hair. Most men would pray for. Jesse, you got that full head of hair.
Jesse Waters
Not really, but I respect the hair. Not much else. Here's how bad it is. You don't understand how devastating it is when in a two party system, your party is not a viable option. Permission to make an analogy? A guy walks into a bar. It's closing time. Two women there. He sits down in the middle. Blonde on the right, Burnett on the left. He's having a good night. Okay? He turns to the blonde on the right. She looks good. Can I buy you a drink? She says, yeah, I'll have a martini. They cheers. She opens her mouth. She's super annoying. He can't stand her. He says to himself, God, did I make the wrong decision? So then he turns to the Burnett on the left and he says, how you doing, babe? Can I buy you a drink? And she goes, sure, I'll have a beer. It's a dude in a dress. Not a viable option. So he's like, to the blonde, let's go back to my place. This is who the Democrats are. They're the Burnett. Cross dressing at the bar. Not a viable option.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'm revoking permission.
Kayleigh McEnany
That is quite an analogy. Sandra. Here's one thing that hasn't been a part of this.
Greg Gutfeld
You want me to follow that?
Kayleigh McEnany
I will give something to you directly. No tax on tips, no tax on overtime. You get that through, that's the working man's economic agenda.
Sandra Smith
And even the MSNBC analysts in this entire panel weighed in and said the Democrats are offering nothing right now to win over the diverse support of the working class voters. Six months into Trump's second term in office, how would it have been, Trump?
Harold Ford Jr.
And saying that for a while, that's our problem.
Kayleigh McEnany
We'll say for the record, there are two blondes on this panel who are not annoying. Okay? All right. Up next, the Maha Mission RFK junior Makes a big announcement to Combat chronic illness.
Harold Ford Jr.
Yeah, that's my girl in the passenger.
Sandra Smith
Seat, windows down, dancing around, causing.
Kayleigh McEnany
An illegal alien from Guatemala.
Greg Gutfeld
RFK Jr and the Maha Commission releasing a report on how ultra processed foods, toxins and a lack of physical, physical activity are contributing to a rise in chronic illnesses, particularly among brats. It also takes aim at Big Pharma for over prescribing meds. They have 80 days to figure out how the federal government should respond. Bobby lays it all out. I've never seen a president, Democrat or Republican, that is willing to stand up to industry when it's the right thing to do. Never in American history has the federal government taken a position on public health like this. And because of President Trump's leadership, it's not just one cabinet secretary, it's the entire entire government. Harry, we were talking about this in the break and we were talking about this exact thing. It is kind of crazy. This is another example. The job that RFK Jr thought he was probably going to do other under Obama, he's doing under Trump. What does this tell you? We were discussing this in the break. Do you remember?
Harold Ford Jr.
I do. It tells me a couple of things. It President Trump is going to be hard to replace. And in this regard, I mean, here's a president who hails as a Republican who is pro Kennedy, pro union, pro tariff, pro deficit spending. And if you were just to look at it on paper and say, wait a sec, how could that be? He has upended the Republican Party and totally puzzled and confounded the Democratic Party to hear Robert F. Kennedy Jr. There's no greater name in American politics in the last 75 years. You don't have to agree with him, but the Kennedy name is as prominent a name in politics and certainly in the Democratic Party for him to say, he said, other than my uncle, I've never seen a president, Democrat or Republican, willing to stand up to corporate interests. You would think he'd be talking about a Democrat. Yeah. So in one regard, I love the fact that they're talking about ways to help kids in urban and rural areas who come from middle class families to eat better and healthier. I hope he achieves everything he wants. I have some concerns about some of the vaccine stuff he talks about, but you can't quarrel with a president and a secretary of Health and Human Services who wants to make our food chain, our food ecosystem healthier for every American. Democrats, if you don't start talking about cultural issues in a way that connect with every, that resonates with Americans and stop being on the fringes if you don't begin to talk about an affordability agenda for every American. Not only will Donald Trump continue to serve out these three years with popularity, he'll pick the next president of the United States. And Democrats, you ought to be hoping. We ought to be hoping he picks one of us. If a Republican can't live up to what he is, the standard he's trying to set for the country, and I don't agree with him everything, but I think the standard, Greg, is a huge standard and it defies what we think of in conventional politics today.
Greg Gutfeld
You know, you have two delightful children.
Sandra Smith
I do that. So nice. Thank you.
Greg Gutfeld
You're welcome. That's all I have. We're talking about nutrition and over medication. What do you think?
Sandra Smith
Think I'll take that. I don't know a single parent today and I've got the elementary school age group. I don't know a single parent today who's not deeply concerned about the food that they're putting in their kids. I'm not so much about the medication route. There are some kids who, you know, their parents say they truly have the case that their kid needed need medication. But when you look at the cancer rate, highest of 204 countries in 2021, up 88%, something's happening there. I look at the herbicide that they're finding in these food that mostly comes from weed killers. It's probably in the grains and ingredients that go into what otherwise we think is healthy food. What do we do? People are puzzled. I grabbed things out of our pantry the other day that were labeled fruit snacks, all these red dyes and blue dyes, energy bars, protein bars, they all have this stuff in there. And we're not experts on this, but he's called our attention to it. And I can tell you the parental community is deeply concerned and definitely want to know more.
Greg Gutfeld
You have a pantry. That must be nice. It seems like just an extra room.
Sandra Smith
Move out of the city. You can have one, too.
Greg Gutfeld
A pantry, A room for your food. How rich are you? I have a room for my food. Kaylee, I had a good question for you. Oh, I want to go back like Michelle Obama. Do you remember she had her own crusade, which we kind of made fun of, I think, but that we were right because she was you. She came up with ridiculous options for food, but at least she was trying.
Kayleigh McEnany
Yeah, she was trying, but that's only a component of this. Look, I've read this maha commission report, 522 footnotes. It's really fun. So take A take a read. Food's just part of it. I mean the medication, ADHD medication up 250%, 1400% increase in antidepressants among young people. I mean, this is a huge task he's taken on. I would just quickly say this. My brother's an emergency medicine doctor. He works in the er. Told me a stat over Christmas I couldn't believe, which is that we spend two times per capita on health care in this country and we have the lowest life expectancy of any high income country. That is the stat that opens this report. My brother points to the health care issue. That's a separate discussion. But the chronic disease discussion's a huge part of this and good for RFK Jr for taking this on.
Greg Gutfeld
Tracy, do you have a pantry?
Jesse Waters
I do. It's getting renovated right now. I've been renovating, among other places in the house. Craig, but you know, you're right, this isn't going to cost anything. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get healthy. That's actually, I look at this as common sense. Trump is a great parent. Look at his kids. No drinking, no smoking, no tattoos. They're all good looking and successful with their own nice families. You can't say that about the Bidens. And I don't want to get into any of the other Democrats families because it's not right. But everybody knows who I'm talking about. My children don't drink soda. They don't have fruit juice. We, we try to do as much water as possible and we all try to play sports and be outside as much as possible. That's the key. Try not to give them too many phones and screens. Try to go outside and play with them and try to eat relatively healthy. Jesse Jr. Does love his chicken fingers.
Greg Gutfeld
I care too. Whenever I see strangers with candy, I always tell them, is that sugar? Can't you offer vegetables past us?
Kayleigh McEnany
Up next, my eyes. What makes a great pair of glasses? At Warby Parker, it's all the invisible extras without the extra cost. Their designer quality frames start at $95 including prescription lenses plus scratch resistant, smudge resistant and anti reflective coatings and UV protection and free adjustments for life. To find your next pair of glasses, sunglasses or contact lenses or to find the Warby Parker store nearest you, head over to warbyparker.com that's warbyparker.com I called him.
Greg Gutfeld
I said, hey Joe.
Harold Ford Jr.
Welcome back. Boredom. It's not that bad. And science says it's actually good for us. Apparently there are several Benefits. It makes us more creative, allows more independence in our thinking. It supports self esteem and it calms anxiety. You find yourself looking like that guy in the picture there. Jesse, as you think about when you're bored or do you agree with some of this? You think your brain is stimulated.
Jesse Waters
You know, Ben Franklin was bored. And you know what he did? He invented like a thousand different things. I'm not Ben Franklin, so I don't invent anything when I'm bored. But I do stay busy. Because idle time is a devil's plaything. You got to keep active. My mom, she'd take me to places and she'd go, go make a friend and I'd just be forced to go interact with people. Or she'd say, here's a stick. Go outside. And then I'd hit squirrels with it. I mean, you always gotta be doing something. Boarding's illegal as a child. It's banned in my house.
Harold Ford Jr.
Sandy, what are your thoughts about it?
Sandra Smith
So I think I say this daily in my house. Like I would love to be bored. You know, we're so busy that boredom sounds like a great thing. I think great things happen when kids are bored. I love to try to leave my kids bored. What's the thing? Like the stick you pull out of the woods that's shaped like this and you put a rubber band.
Kayleigh McEnany
Oh, a slingshot.
Sandra Smith
A slingshot that was built in my house the other day. And you know that was from boredom.
Jesse Waters
Cool. We can also buy those.
Sandra Smith
Dangerous.
Kayleigh McEnany
But I hate being bored. Like I will fold six things of laundry. I have to be doing something at all times. I have an inability to sit on the couch. Inability.
Harold Ford Jr.
Me too, Mr. Make sure you don't strike me as someone were boredom.
Greg Gutfeld
I know when I get bored. You always know when I get bored. It's on the show. Jesse does the same thing. Jesse, you and I do the shade share the same quality. When we feel understimulated, we take a risk. Right. It's like. It's like sitting there, all of a sudden you'll just say something that is right up to.
Harold Ford Jr.
Because you need.
Greg Gutfeld
What you're trying to do is you're trying to create some discomfort that gets your body going. So like when I am. When I am restless and I'm sitting here, there's a chance that I'm going to do something really, really, really.
Jesse Waters
You know, like on Friday.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes.
Jesse Waters
Do it on Fridays.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, but you do that. You did that with your analogy today.
Kayleigh McEnany
Before you go.
Harold Ford Jr.
That blonde, the dark hair.
Jesse Waters
You were. I know when Greg's bored. When Jessica's talking, he's doodling.
Harold Ford Jr.
I guess I'm kind of boring because when I'm bored, I read. One more thing is up next.
Jesse Waters
A major motion.

Eyewitness Account:
Kayleigh McEnany shares a harrowing firsthand experience with the perpetrator:
"We were in the room for 10 whole minutes with the murderer. He asks, do you think that's... 'Free Palestine.' I hope not. And that's when he reaches into his bag and pulls out a keffiyeh and says to me, I did it. I did this for Gaza."
[02:07 - 02:45]
Jesse Waters comments on the impact of extremist chants leading to violence:
"When you start committing murder after chanting it, you're going to bring down a lot of hell on that movement... The left has more assassins than ideas."
