Brian Kilmeade
All right. Hi, I'm Greg Gutfeld along with Brian Kilme, Jessica Tarloff, Jesse Waters, and she just put a down payment on a gingerbread beach house. Dana Perino with the Five.
President Trump getting the band back together in pa. The Don delivering a nearly two hour campaign style speech focused on affordability and making the full pitch for his economic agenda.
Donald Trump
I have no higher priority than making America affordable again. Democrats talking about affordability is like Bonnie and Clyde preaching about public safety. Lower prices, bigger paychecks. We're getting inflation, we're crushing it and you're getting much higher wages. I mean, the only thing that you it's really going up big. It's called the stock market.
Brian Kilmeade
And your 401ks president also veering off script script to riff about sleepy Joe, Ilhan Omar and even yours truly, Jesse.
Donald Trump
You know, they were talking about Greg Gutfeld. He's a very good guy, Greg Gutfeld, very good. Which is better, Sleepy Joe or crooked Joe? He's a sleepy son of a. You know, who destroyed our country if we didn't come along? And it's not me, it's all of us. If you don't share our values, contribute to our economy and assimilate into our society, then we don't want you in our country. We don't want you. I mean, Elon Omar and the people from Somalia, they hate our country. I love her. She comes in, does nothing, but she's always complaining.
Brian Kilmeade
And after saying zilch about the last guy, Democrats are itching to blame every economic headache on Trump.
Dana Perino
I'll tell you, we used to Say.
Brian Kilmeade
That a president can't impact the economy that much.
Dana Perino
Donald Trump has proven us wrong. He is destroying it right in front.
Jesse Waters
Of our very eyes.
Brian Kilmeade
He didn't look well there. Brian, let's get you out of the way.
What did you make of this? Was this like a return to form? He's back and taking no prisoners. Did the weave.
Dana Perino
He did the weave. He was in and out of everything. They had the Gutfeld line in there. Not sure where it was going. But you didn't like him, evidently, in the beginning, and you like him a lot now. That's my takeaway. I thought he'd focus on the economy, but mostly it was about Gutfeld, since I knew you missed a lot of the speech. A couple of things about Andy Beshear, what he just commented. He said something outlandish. He said 72 hospitals have closed, rural hospitals have closed. And I thought, that's a little crazy. And I fired my staff earlier. So I did this research myself. It turns out there were 72. There are. There were 30 that he says 30 have closed. There were 72 Kentucky hospitals, rural hospitals. 16 were listed at risk in 2023. 10 were immediate risk. And now in 2025, there was only three that closed. And it had nothing to do with Trump at all. So I'm not sure if he's queuing up for a presidential run, but not a strong start with Trump. He was just saying he got it down. This is what he's got to repeat. The country was unaffordable when I took over, and I'm here to fix it because it was an awkward situation. You have to know Trump speak, and most of the country does, when he came out and says it's a hoax, he wasn't saying affordability is a hoax. He's saying affordability blamed on him as a hoax because he had nothing to do with the rescue package, nothing to do with the Inflation Reduction Act. He had nothing to do with the infrastructure deal. That's the money that ran it up. That gave us 9% inflation. And he's trying to get it down. He said, maybe it's unrealistic to say he's going to get it down right away, but I sense he primed the pump in 25 to win big in 26. That's his bet.
Brian Kilmeade
Yeah, it is. I still find it incredible, Dana, that what drove inflation up was something called the Inflation Reduction Act.
Jessica Tarloff
We knew that Joe Manchin, who's the senator who wrote that bill, who's retired now, he was on America's Newsroom today. And he said that wasn't really named very well. We should have called it the Energy Independence act because he talked about how much great stuff was in there for energy from his perspective. But I think that what Bashir said, he's governor of Kentucky, red state, governor, Democrat, he's considered possible 2028 material. And for him to not be reasonable, responsible enough to say, to realize what he was saying. He said the quiet part out loud. He said, we used to say that a president can't impact the economy that much, but Donald Trump has proven us wrong. But they can't. If he believes that, then if he's actually being logical, he would say that he had to believe it under President Biden as well and all the other presidents. If it only affects Trump, then I think that he sounds like a fool, unfortunately for him. I would also point out this, this is how you knew that the Democrats were always going to go after Trump on affordability, even though they turned a blind eye to Biden on February 13th of this year. That was three weeks after President Trump had been inaugurated. Hakeem Jeffries, speaker of the House, goes out and says, I cannot believe egg prices are so high. This is outrageous. They are out of control. Three weeks later. They never talked about eggs for four years, and all of a sudden they did that. So it is intellectually dishonest. I think President Trump getting out there and talking about it.
Is important. And I think maybe the best thing that he can do is to say what Brian said, which is that, I heard you, I got you. We're working on it. Give me some time. Because people don't expect you to fix things immediately, overnight, the border being an exception, which is an amazing accomplishment. But on the economy, people, if they see that you have a plan and that you are leading them somewhere and you tell them that, they'll be willing to go along.
Brian Kilmeade
Jessica, you were nodding in agreement while Dana was talking.
Jessica Tarloff
Wow.
Dana Perino
Yes.
Brian Kilmeade
It was amazing.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes.
Dana Perino
What do you say about.
Brian Kilmeade
I mean, Dana makes the point, which I think is the strong, strongest one, is that you guys have no credibility because you never cared about affordability until your guy lost.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah. So that's not really how this works.
Brian Kilmeade
Oh, really?
Greg Gutfeld
No.
Brian Kilmeade
Explain to me how it works.
Greg Gutfeld
Since you asked.
Dana Perino
No.
Greg Gutfeld
It's a two party system. People show up to vote and they decide between those two options. And historically speaking, the midterms are going to go against the President. The question is, how big is that margin going to be? But Dana said, rightly so. That was what my nodding was, that Donald Trump, if he says, I got you, I'm working on it, that people can hear that and that can resonate. But the problem is that it's not one night, it's not two nights. It's like 320 nights that he's had to work on it and he's put into place policies that are making it worse. And last night's rally, I understand it's all going to be chopped up and that's how people are going to consume it. But it was basically an in kind contribution to the Democrats. The midterm ads will be full of Donald Trump from last night saying, you can give up pencils. You don't need that many. You don't need $37 for your daughter. Two or three is nice. So we're doing things right. Prices are going down. My favorite word is tariff. I just helped our farmers out because they're starting to do really well. The tariffs are making them rich. There is not a farmer that you could find to do an interview that is saying, I have been made rich because of Donald Trump's tariff policy. And lastly, Democrats were also busy in Florida and in Georgia. So there's going to be a new mayor of Miami. Eileen Higgins, a Democrat, hasn't won there in decades. I know. Before you say it, Brian, there was an independent who was in there in the early 2000 still. Kamala Harris won by one point. Miami county, she won by 19 points. We flipped another seat in Georgia. So far in 2025 Dems have flipped 25 GOP held seats. The GOP have flipped zero.
That is the story of what's going on here. So you can say people speak Trump, they love the weave. I get it. I never loved it, but I understand that people like it. What they like more is money in their pockets. And he's not delivering on that again.
Brian Kilmeade
It's like Bonnie and Clyde lecturing you on public safety. But it's true. I mean, it's hard. It's hard to take seriously. You guys didn't care anyway.
Dana Perino
Jesse.
Jesse Waters
No, you were right. I mean, they have no credibility at all on any domestic policy. And it's fresh in everyone's head. And they're running on fixing a problem they created and they won't tell you how they're going to fix it. They don't have a plan to lower prices, repeal tariffs. No one's running on that, Jessica. Well, you should try it, person. You haven't said it. No one's talking about revoking the trade deals. No one's Even running on that. Okay, and what did Jerome Powell say today? Jerome Powell came out and said inflation is moving down towards 2%. And they revised the growth projection for next year. And then they announced they're buying $40 billion in treasuries. And the market roared. It roared. Jessica, next year is going to be insane. We're going to have multiple rate cuts, housing costs are going to come down and incomes are going to go up because the big beautiful bill kicks in. That means no tax on tips, overtime and Social Security. And that's when you get all the business tax cuts. Also, that's when all the foreign investment comes in. And so you're going to see these big AI centers sprout up. And next year they're projecting to be the greatest economic year since the 80s. Now, will it be enough to save the Republicans in the midterms? Probably not. But that's okay. This is a long term deal. You're going to lose the House. You may keep the Senate. I'll take that. But for the Democrats to come in after they raised tuition, after they raised health care costs with Obamacare, after they raised energy prices with the Green New scam and utility prices and gas prices, and then come in and say, oh, well, you know, the cost of living is high. You guys have nothing. You know, you have nothing. And all you're relying on is the two party system that the fickle voter is just going to get sick of. Whoever's in power, you're going to put in the next party and that's all you got. And what are you going to do with power? You're going to do nothing. Or you can do the same thing you did last time, which is open the border, spend trillions of dollars and make prices go up again.
Brian Kilmeade
No, but that is an interesting point. Game it out. What if they did win back the House?
Dana Perino
Yeah.
Jesse Waters
What's your plan?
Brian Kilmeade
What would you do? You know what they would do? Launch impeachment. It would be impeachment.
Dana Perino
I don't think the House is lost. I think it's going to be how this year plays out. I think Trump's going to take it like he's president. There's going to be convention this summer. He's going to go out and treat it the same exact way, try to gain momentum. And all you could be asked for is to be judged on your report card. The report card is going to be how the big beautiful bill performs. And if it bombs, Democrats will have a field day. 63 seats, shellacking everything. But if he begins to surge. That's what's going to. That's what's going to matter. And they'll dominate the news cycle.
Greg Gutfeld
We haven't even talked about the wild card, which is health care in all of this. The GOP is scrambling to try to get something done. You have what seems like reasonable voices like Josh Hawley saying that you absolutely have your program. It doesn't matter.
Jesse Waters
Trusting everyone's pocketbook.
Dana Perino
Guess what?
Greg Gutfeld
Your people are on it. And they're going to get a 400 roll on it.
Jesse Waters
Jessica, you're not our people.
Greg Gutfeld
It's more of your voters than ours.
Jesse Waters
And they all stole from.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg is telling you to be quiet.
Brian Kilmeade
Boy. The cameraman is just very slow. All right, up next, Queen Kamala demands a marble bust.
Jesse Waters
Hi, I'm Tom.

Kamala is giving off full midlife crisis energy right now. She doesn't want to be remembered as the lady who blew $1.5 billion on a failed campaign. So she's running straight to the New York Times to remind everyone she's still here. Check out this headline. Kamala Harris isn't ready to be written off. She says this. I understand the focus on 28 and all that, but there will be a marble bust of me in Congress. I am a historic figure like any vice president of the United States ever was. She also took a shot at Michelle Obama for saying the country's not ready for a woman president. Kamala said this. I do Believe the country is ready. But I guess they weren't ready for her. Kamala is also rolling out fresh book tour dates for 2026, which means the tour will now last longer than her entire 170 day campaign.
Jessica Tarloff
We are fighting for something, and we are not going to do it in a way that we don't allow ourselves a moment to have a good laugh or sing a song or dance.
Jesse Waters
Should you be talking about your bust as.
A politician?
Greg Gutfeld
No.
Jesse Waters
I mean, like, you don't want to talk about your bust.
Brian Kilmeade
It's a great point, but this could be an amazing bust. I see it more like a fuzzy navel fountain you see at weddings. You know, where streams of peach schnapps come out of the eyes and the ears and the nose or wherever. Callback here's the problem with talking about a bust. It puts you in the past. The moment she said that, she just said that. She's not going to. She's done. She's finished. I got my trophy. It's like. And you just think of museums and elderly docents and musty velvet ropes and Brian Kilmeade sitting in the corner eating chips. No, her beef, which is amplified by the title of her book, is that she didn't have enough time. Dear, you had more time than anyone. You were vp. You know, on your day planner, there's only funerals. You had four years as an understudy. At any moment it could have been you. You were the emergency president, and you still think you didn't have enough time. We all got to know you and we still didn't like you. We could argue more time with Kamala. Worse for Kamala. Have you ever heard of Crap Island? I've talked about this. Right? That's whenever you get on Crap island, you can't get off it, and you're not even sure why you're on it. But it's just that because your presence gives off bad vibes for many people. And for a lot of people, they don't want to be reminded of 2024. It's like when I smell Parmesan cheese, it reminds me of when I threw up in third grade and they covered it with sawdust.
Dana Perino
Yes.
Brian Kilmeade
It doesn't matter. It's like Parmesan cheese. When it's grated Parmesan cheese, it's just like, I don't want it. It's nothing against the Parmesan.
Greg Gutfeld
You got no Parmesan on your pasta?
Brian Kilmeade
No, a big Parmesan don come after me. But it's like it's just like it's.
Greg Gutfeld
Like I'd rather Reggiano.
Brian Kilmeade
Yes. I'd rather not deal with it. She is on crap Island. She can't get off him.
Jesse Waters
You know what reminds Hunter of Parmesan Cocaine. Brian Kilmeade, your name was invoked.
Dana Perino
Okay, I guess those are the rules. Couple of things. I think that Greg is wrong number one. Number two, do you glad I went that time with Johnny Carson and Steve Martin. Steve Martin was on the show. He said thank you very much and he left. And then after a few minutes Carson starts with his next guest and he just comes. Steve Martin comes back out and goes I have nowhere to go. And I sit down again and it's a classic moment with Johnny Carson and that's really how I feel about 61 year old Kamala Harris. Prime of her life, political life. She should be hitting her stride and now she goes, Greg, you might be right. She might have nowhere, she might not have a future but she has nowhere else to go. She's going to come out from the top.
Brian Kilmeade
Sounds like somebody we know.
Dana Perino
And nowhere else to go. So I think she also has a super PAC that raised $7 million. She sold her mailing list for $7 million to the Democratic super PAC or the Democratic committee, I should say. So I think she can do that. Yeah. $7 million for her mailing list. So I actually think that. The thing that I think is crazy is that spot that we just saw on the bump in. She still says nothing. She still says nothing. Just tell me why you want to be president. Tell me what you would do when you get there. She says I'm going to run because I'm going to stand up. It may sound corny but I'm going to stand up for people. That's not a mission statement. Danny, I know you're the English expert but that is not something you would sign off on, I don't think.
Jesse Waters
61 year old woman. Are they in their prime? Callback Don Lemmons.
Brian Kilmeade
Yes.
Jesse Waters
Your name was invoked.
Dana Perino
I say yes, why am I invoked?
Jessica Tarloff
Okay, so she is correct as a vp it was a bust and she's going to have to just continue to deal with this. I feel sorry for the Democrats when they see that she's booking 2026 tour dates, which means that we get to talk about this all the time. When all these other ones like Andy Beshear of Kentucky hasn't done an interview in months, all of a sudden he's doing interviews. Why? Because he's testing the waters for 2028 and now he's going to have to deal with her and respond to her all the time. I wouldn't want to have to do that. My favorite line in the article is from the this is the reporter Shane Goldmacher. He said, Kamala Harris wants to be heard, but it's not clear what she wants to say.
Brian Kilmeade
Exactly the point.
Jessica Tarloff
That's actually the whole definition of her candidacy.
Jesse Waters
Will the Joe Biden book tour be next year, Jessica? Yes, we get that end. Kamala.
Jessica Tarloff
Yes.
Greg Gutfeld
Is that happening?
Jesse Waters
Is it, is he gonna get his dad?
Brian Kilmeade
He's gotta do it soon.
Greg Gutfeld
I better get pregnant fast.
No, we are not. I am not pregnant. I am not going to be doing this.
Come on, we're just a family of four. The girls are adorable. All there.
Jesse Waters
Okay.
Jessica Tarloff
Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay. I, I don't care.
Jesse Waters
I'm not getting you pregnant.
Greg Gutfeld
Or delivering the baby, which we've gone over.
So, yeah, it's a lot to keep talking about. And I, I, I think that the most important stuff that was in 107 days in her memoir, talking about the key moments where you could have done something differently or where you would have done something differently. Like that moment on the View where they say, you know, what would you do differently than Joe Biden? And she punted and then got a text in the break that was like, are you effing kidding me? Like, you have to say something. So then she said, actually, today of all days, we're rolling out this new policy that you got in home care for your parents off Medicaid. And I'm thinking about the sandwich generation, which I think is why she was there. Right, to talk about. And, like, that was a fumble, obviously. And I feel like talking about those moments would do a lot more to endear people towards her because Democrats in particular, it's not like people hate her at all, but we're still angry about the whole thing. Feel strongly that this was a winnable race. If there had either been a full primary, you know, starting in 2023, if Biden had said, I'm not going to run again, then everybody throws their hat in. Or even a mini primary after Biden dropped out, which was what the Nancy Pelosi plan was.
Jesse Waters
Okay, well said, Jessica. Really well said. Up next, brand new. When I'm complimentary, no one even believes me. Brand new video. President Trump just seized an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela.
Announcer

Dana Perino
27 minutes now after the hour. It looks like we got another 8020 issue that Democrats are on the wrong side of that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer threatening to confront Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and demand he release the classified footage of a September military strike on a suspected drug boat in the Caribbean. But the tough talking senator's threats seem to have fallen flat.
Jesse Waters
Watch.
Dana Perino
It was a very unsatisfying briefing.
Brian Kilmeade
I asked Secretary Hegseth, Secretary of Defense had said, would he let every member.
Dana Perino
Of Congress see the unedited videos of.
Brian Kilmeade
The September 2nd strike? His answer?
Dana Perino
We have to study it. Well, in my view, they've studied it long enough. Congress ought to be able to see it. Same pattern over and over again. And speaking of tensions in the Caribbean, we just got brand new video of the US Seizing a tanker off the coast of Venezuela. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirming the crude oil tanker was used to transport sanctioned oil from Venezuela and Iran. Here is President Trump talking about it earlier today.
Donald Trump
From the standpoint of news, as you probably know, we've just seized a tanker on the coast of Venezuela, large tanker, very large.
Largest one ever seized as actually. And other things are happening. So you'll be seeing that later and you'll be talking about that later with some other vehicles.
Dana Perino
I mean, guys, we have a lot to talk about here of substance, because there's a lot going on. But aren't we seeing the signs again? Remember, they had to get Elon and Doge. They were nonstop. We got Doge, he's going to destroy the country. Then Epstein files. We got to get the Epstein files. Now we got to see the double tap strike from September 2nd. And they're going to keep on pounding it until Pete Hegseth shows the country that double tap strike. It's not that they're interested. They think they got something as opposed to coming up with a policy to get Maduro out. Now, Greg, you have written a lot of foreign policy. You write for Foreign Policy magazine. Yes. Without pictures. Yes. Very rarely for you to like a magazine without pictures. You're feeling on our policy in the region. Are you happy the way this is developed?
Brian Kilmeade
I will be speaking on this before the Council on Foreign Relations next month in Geneva. I hope you do attend. If not, I'll try to get the notes to you after. Schumer is raging at his own failure. He just doesn't know that even the New York Times concedes this point. They didn't just drop the ball on illegal immigration. They handed the ball over to the millions coming in. And of the millions, there were thousands who were criminals. And they flocked here under this illusion of sanctuary cities, which was just an Airbnb for felons. They'll talk about. It's not about the policy. It's about the process. No, no, it's not. Their policy is to have no process. You couldn't get the Democrats to name a single illegal that they would deport. But then Trump wins and now they go, well, okay, we understand now, but then what do we do? We spend, like, what, six weeks talking about the Maryland dad who is a professional illegal alien. He's a felon. But you had Democrats fly to visit him in Central America. Again, that's not a process question. That shows you that their policy, their intentional policy, is to have open borders. They pause deportations, they killed, the border wall, they suspended remain in Mexico. That's a policy. That is not an argument over process. So this course correction that we're seeing under Trump, it may seem harsh to people, and in some ways it feels harsh, but it would not have been necessary if you hadn't put us on this course. You screwed the pooch so badly, we can't let you near the dogs anymore.
Dana Perino
So, Dana, with their say what he has said, Greg doesn't have time to elaborate at this moment because he's out of time. But what he's trying to say is Joe Biden cut a deal with Maduro and he said, hey, I'm going to send Chevron in there. We're going to be able to drill. We need your oil.
Brian Kilmeade
Because I don't want to drill.
Dana Perino
I'm committed to this green energy policy. And then, of course, he's promised free and fair elections. He didn't have free and fair elections. The elections actually were free and fair. And he lost big time and he stayed in power. So that is the mess that was handed over to Trump because he says, I can't tolerate this anymore because Hezbollah, Iran, Russia, China are all there, let alone Cuba.
Greg Gutfeld
Right.
Jessica Tarloff
And so now he's got the region on its toes. And also, if you think about what he's talking about, the Donroe Doctrine, going back, using the Monroe Doctrine. And I actually have always believed that America has ignored our own hemisphere for too long. And there's. You think about, why do people all want to leave their countries and come to America? Because the governance there stinks, because the corruption stinks. It was terrible. So more focus on these countries is a good thing. And the first thing you have to do is deal with the security issue and the fact that they're bringing drugs into the country. I actually think that the Trump administration would rather talk about this than affordability. They rather talk about this than health care. Because the Democrats are able to get headlines and make some headway, because I think their policies are wrong, but they at least are able to talk about it. The Republicans get tongue tied when they start talking about health care. They have good ideas, but they don't talk about them enough. This actually is probably something that's going to be like an 8020 issue when you actually start to poll it. It's not that people are going to want to see the double tap strike. I noticed that Schumer thinks that, okay, if you see it, then all of a sudden you're going to think that it's wrong. I think that people will see, like, I don't actually want to see it. I don't want to watch videos like that. But I do want to trust people, either like the president or somebody like Tom Cotton, who's the intel chairman on the Senate side, saying that he believes everything was on the up and up and that it needed to be done. I think that Schumer is again falling into a trap of talking about something that. That the Trump administration is quite happy to talk about.
Dana Perino
Jesse, it's the 13th briefing that Pete Hicksett's been involved in this time. Radcliffe was there, as well as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. So what do you mean they're not briefing? They don't know what's going on. How many briefings do you need to know what's going on?
Jesse Waters
They've seen the video.
Announcer
Yes.
Jesse Waters
And they went in there saying it was a war crime. And then they left saying.
So the story's over. This is such a bigger story. This cokeboat thing's the appetizer. Trump just said, expect land strikes in Latin America. Trump just said Maduro's days are numbered. And then he said Mexico and Colombia better watch out. We just had two US jets violate Venezuelan airspace and we're seizing oil tankers off their coast. This is much bigger than one strike against a vessel. This is a huge change in American foreign policy. We are the biggest superpower of the world, and we can project enormous power all over the world, but we don't do it in our own hemisphere. And as of now, that has changed. This is now a goal to dominate Latin America. They have mineral wealth, they have oil wealth, and we have Russia and China screwing around there. And the cartels are so out of control that it's causing mass migration into the United States, which brings guns, it brings drugs, and it lowers American wages. So it is connected to the economy and it's connected to power politics. And this is just the beginning. I expect next year we're going to be talking about war down there, right?
Dana Perino
Possibly. Unless Maduro does a smart thing and.
Jesse Waters
Leave, and he should. Apparently they have this great estate for him in the Middle east where he can just hang out with his girlfriends all day and eat lobster.
Dana Perino
Right. I think.
Jesse Waters
What's wrong with that?
Dana Perino
What about a cul de sac?
Jesse Waters
Better than being dead.
Dana Perino
What about a cul de sac in Russia next to Assad?
Jesse Waters
I think it's very nice, warmer in the Middle East.
Dana Perino
But, Jessica, your thoughts about the Democratic stance at this moment? How do you think they should be approaching it?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, it's not just the Democratic stance. It's Chuck Schumer and Roger Wicker, who's the GOP chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee. It's Congressman Republican as well, Mike Turner, It's Senator Rand Paul. There were lots of people who went into that briefing and came out with a diametrically opposed read on it. Then Senator Tom Cotton, Admiral Bradley, who testified, said that the boat wasn't headed to the US that was part of the predicate for the strike, that it was coming here and it was bringing fentanyl, it was bringing cocaine to Suriname. So actually, in the opposite direction, the two men who were killed were clinging to a piece of wood like they're on the Titanic. Right. It was like Kate Winslet out there that then.
Okay, well, there are other people. Jim Himes as well, said that they didn't have any communications devices, they weren't armed, and there's no evidence that the cocaine survived.
Brian Kilmeade
Does this sound like the Maryland dad all over again?
Greg Gutfeld
You know what I do want to talk about the Maryland dad of. Because the Maryland. Dad, you all sat here and you said you're out of your minds, right? For Chris Van Hollen going down there. You made up a fake story about the margaritas and whatever. And Democrats said, we want to talk about how people are treated who first of all have legal status. We want to talk about due process and where do we go from there? We found out what the type of conditions are that people are being treated who were being improperly sent to seekot which we found out about American deals with Bukele that we were actually forcing him to do this. It wasn't comfortable with it. We have found out now you don't care, but Americans care.
Brian Kilmeade
Americans don't care.
They care about their relatives dying from drugs.
Greg Gutfeld
Why is Donald Trump underwater about their jobs?
Brian Kilmeade
They don't care about drugs.
Greg Gutfeld
They don't like any polls that are.
Jesse Waters
Do you know that the Kochboat strikes are the most popular foreign policy action the world?
Greg Gutfeld
Then run on it. No health care plan. No affordable plan. We shoot.
Jesse Waters
Coming up with a health care.
Greg Gutfeld
I'll be waiting.
Jesse Waters
We'll have it tomorrow.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay. I'll be waiting for that health care plan.
Jesse Waters
There's about three.
Dana Perino
But they're all to fix Obamacare.
I know, I know. Good luck. No one can do that. But they do have to do something on health care.
Brian Kilmeade
I agree with you on riding Obamacare. Didn't work. The problems they caused.
Greg Gutfeld
All right, guys.
Announcer
All right.
Dana Perino
Coming up, SNL star David Spade just got drafted into the war on Christmas. Nuff said. I'm hard to love, Hard to love.
Donald Trump
No, I don't make it easy.

Sorry, Jesse, but President Trump is still working on solving his ninth war. The war on Christmas. SNL alum David Spade blasting a maltree lighting ceremony for. You guessed it. Refusing to use the word Christmas.
Dana Perino
I saw the other day there was.
Jesse Waters
A tree lighting ceremony for the Christmas.
Brian Kilmeade
Tree in some dopey mall I don't know.
Dana Perino
Yeah, sure, but it said tree lighting ceremony and they were careful not to.
Jesse Waters
Say the word Christmas during the whole ceremony.
Dana Perino
No. Why? Why can't.
Jesse Waters
So it's just a tree.
Dana Perino
Then what is the tree for? A December to remember.
Jesse Waters
Is it a Lexus dealership?
Greg Gutfeld
Jesse, I feel like we have been doing more on Christmas for 12 years.
Jessica Tarloff
Oh, no. Now it's back.
Jesse Waters
Well, this is like 15 years.
Greg Gutfeld
Trump's America.
Dana Perino
John Gibson did a book on this.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, we won the war. You're welcome. I don't know, maybe in California they're still fighting it. But it's so funny. We went through this period of time where it was like you couldn't say merry Christmas. The MeToo movement trans. We let Jessica talk. It was like mass psychosis culturally in the United States. We finally have snapped out of it here. And it's about time. It is about time we've snapped out of this crazy brain rot we were all suffering from. And we talked about this the other day. The Democrats have admitted they lost the culture war and they just picked the wrong battles. I mean, you guys won pretty well on gay marriage, civil rights, women's rights. I mean, you guys were on a roll there for a while. You just chose the dumbest.
Greg Gutfeld
We lost it at Happy Holidays in the world.
Jesse Waters
Yeah. Happy Holidays.
Greg Gutfeld
Does Happy Holidays offend you?
Dana Perino
No, it doesn't. It never did. But not saying Merry Christmas to people because of the Christmas tree. I just think it's hysterical that David Spade is like, thinks he's got something here.
Donald Trump
Yeah, right.
Dana Perino
He's. Somebody sees pop culture. I know he's very astute, very smart. But when he did this, I had to watch it three times. I go, okay, has you seen any of these episodes of the five? Have we talked about this? We've had guests, we've had our specials on this. He's like, why don't we say in Christmas Tree what the hell is going on?
Jessica Tarloff
We had a Nexio.
Dana Perino
Yeah. So look it. I'm glad he's aboard. It'd be very interesting if Hollywood starts realizing if they go back to church, like we hear the whole next generations go back to church. They're going to look around and go, what's the problem with Christmas? And instead of Jon Stewart and everyone going to town for us for bringing it up, now they're going to start bringing it up. So I welcome to the party. Even though they're 10, 20 years late.
Greg Gutfeld
Greg, I would like to talk to you about David Spade's mother.
Brian Kilmeade
Ah, Judy. A wonderful person.
Greg Gutfeld
A wonderful person.
Brian Kilmeade
We don't talk as much anymore because it's a little awkward since I'm so close to David's age. But speaking of age, she likes the show.
Greg Gutfeld
That's why I brought.
Brian Kilmeade
Oh, yeah, she likes the show.
Greg Gutfeld
Now do whatever you want.
Brian Kilmeade
All right, thank you.
This is really okay.
As a human being on this planet. You are. You go through childhood, then you go through your teenage years, right? And then you're a young adult, then you get into your 30s, then you get into your 40s, middle age, your 50s, and then 55 to 60, we're on Christmas.
It's not like it's just there and you just walk right into it. And pretty soon you're pretty sure you're just a normal person. You're just a normal person minding your own business. And next thing you know, you're at like Ace Hardware and you go, did you see? There ain't no Christmas that says holidays.
Greg Gutfeld
Ha.
Brian Kilmeade
Well, you know, holiday is short for holy day. So we got them both. And then you go, oh, my God, what happened? Yes, it's just like getting rheumatoid arthritis or you start, start looking at those chairlifts as a good idea. But you know, a serious point though, I wonder how many people on the left who deny the intrinsic nature of Christianity in the United States of America. The foundational part of the celebrate Christmas, which is like, probably, well, obviously the biggest holiday secular and non secular on the planet. Like, so this thing is like you're sitting there, you get all these commercials, all these commercials for Old Navy sweaters and sales for this and that, and.
Dana Perino
You, you go like, well, this is.
Brian Kilmeade
I guess this is a Christian nation. Or how is this still going on? You know what I mean? Yeah, it's kind of funny. It's like this thing like.
Jessica Tarloff
So it happened at a mall.
Brian Kilmeade
Yeah.
Jessica Tarloff
And at the mall is where you go shopping and presumably you're shopping for Christmas presents. Maybe a few Hanukkah presents. Okay, Kwanzaa if you want. But the whole, like, the main reason Kwanzaa.
Dana Perino
That was cute.
Jessica Tarloff
The tree lighting is to have people come and buy Christmas presents. So you would think at the mall they would want to say this. Nothing would be, nothing would make Jesse happier than to have the War on Christmas back.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, I mean, I need content.
Dana Perino
I thought it was worn already.
Brian Kilmeade
You still have the shirts. You still have the shirts.
Jesse Waters
I do, I do. I'm a veteran.
Brian Kilmeade
Greg, you are a veteran.
Jesse Waters
You should be on disability.
Greg Gutfeld
Up next. Next, it's an Air Force One mystery. Who hit Trump with the bathroom door?
This is Ainsley Earhart.

Donald Trump
You're going to have to take it easy with that thing, you know, It's a government plane, but I like to take care of it.
Announcer
Hello?
Donald Trump
Somebody's in there. Come on out.
Jessica Tarloff
I love it because Jesse, it's like. He's just like us.
Dana Perino
That's right.
Jessica Tarloff
Things happen on the train. You're fine.
Announcer
Come on out.
Jesse Waters
My children always want to, like, go in the bathroom when I'm in the bathroom. It's so annoying.
Brian Kilmeade
Especially when. Well, you know.
Jesse Waters
If we had the jet from the Muslims that they promised us, we wouldn't have this problem.
Brian Kilmeade
From the Muslim?
Donald Trump
Muslims.
Dana Perino
Guitars? Yeah. Guitar. Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Jesse Waters
They're Muslims, Greg.
Brian Kilmeade
Muslim jet.
Jesse Waters
It's not an insult.
Brian Kilmeade
The Muslim.
Greg Gutfeld
You mean the $400 million bribe?
Jesse Waters
I wouldn't go that far. It's a gift, Jessica. It's like a putt. When they give you a putt, you take it.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay? Okay.
Jessica Tarloff
Jessica, what do you think about bathroom door gate?
Greg Gutfeld
I flew cross country just in the last week. My daughter came to the bathroom with me. It is so tight with a little human in there, as well as herself. Also, people who do number twos on planes. I don't like you. I understand. It happens.
Jessica Tarloff
Okay.
Greg Gutfeld
You gotta go.
Jessica Tarloff
Maybe if you're on Jessica's flight, you know who you.
Greg Gutfeld
Hold it.
Jessica Tarloff
All right, Brian, See David Cormack in.
Dana Perino
The background trying to put this two and two together. It's gotta be a staffer. It's gotta be somebody that traveled with him. It's gotta be somebody who did not know that he'd be talking to the press at that moment. So if I just whittle it down, I guess it's J.D. vance in there.
Jessica Tarloff
I mean, I don't think they're on the same plane. Right.
Dana Perino
Well, that's not allowed. They're not allowed to travel.
Jessica Tarloff
All right, great.
Dana Perino
A chick.
Jessica Tarloff
How do you know?
Brian Kilmeade
Because guys don't use the airplane bathroom.
Greg Gutfeld
That's not true.
Brian Kilmeade
No, look it up.
Jessica Tarloff
It's about.
Brian Kilmeade
Look it up.
Jesse Waters
Hold on a second. All the time rock.
Brian Kilmeade
Who uses the airport airplane bathroom more? Men or women?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, up in. Okay, wait. What? He's not going to talk.
Brian Kilmeade
Oh, I guess it's off right now.
Announcer
Right?
Brian Kilmeade
Look, look, here's my point. Men know this. You only use the airplane bathroom for if you have the stomach flu. If you're vaping. Or an attempt at the Mile High Club. Other than that, you don't do it.
Jessica Tarloff
You mean that you can get through a whole flight without going to the bathroom? Without having to pee?
Jesse Waters
Greg, you can't go through a whole show.
Brian Kilmeade
That reminds me.
Jesse Waters
Coming up.
Jessica Tarloff
All right, One More Thing is up next.
Dana Perino
Now, I can't lie. It ain't a bad good old boy.
Brian Kilmeade
Time now for One More Thing. Jesse.
Jesse Waters
Okay. Erica Kirk earlier today addressed some of the conspiracies that she's encountered since Charlie's death watch.
Announcer
Come after me. Call me names. I don't care. Call me what you want. Go down that rabbit hole, whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk show family, when you go after the people that I love, and you're making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode, going after the people that I love because somehow they're in on this. No, this is righteous anger. Because this is not okay. It's not healthy. This is a mind virus.
Jesse Waters
Happy TDS Wednesday, 8pm Jesse Waters, Prime Time. Thank you, Greg.

Sexy Giraffe news. Hit the music. This little flirtatious spotted beast.
Jessica Tarloff
Oh, no. Oh, yeah.
Brian Kilmeade
Is he gonna wink at me?
Greg Gutfeld
No.
Brian Kilmeade
I hope he winks at me. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's Ziggy the Giraffe. He's a flirt. That's at the Milwaukee Zoo. He likes to neck.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Brian Kilmeade
His eyelashes are crucial to. To wash away earrings. Yeah.
Jesse Waters
Look at that, huh?
Brian Kilmeade
Hey, meet me after. Meet me after down by the pool hall. All right, Dana.
Jessica Tarloff
All right, we have Dana's hack attack for tonight. Here's the thing. There's a lot of holiday parties happening. There might be one tonight. And you just have to remember, just, like, slow your roll. One drink only.
Jesse Waters
No.
Jessica Tarloff
At the office party. And then after, you can go out with your friends. Just don't make a fool of yourself at the office party.
Jesse Waters
It's free open bar. Dana, you have one. More than one.
Brian Kilmeade
No, no, she's right. One drink only. Because you don't want her to mess up your mess. Jessica.
Greg Gutfeld
Okay, so early on Saturday morning, a Clearwater, Florida. Target was filled with children Christmas shopping. This annual event pairs a police officer with a child and helps them budget and shop for presents. This year, donations increased from 250 to $400 for each child to spend, which you can get a lot of loot for that money.
Jesse Waters
You not too many pencils, though.

FOX News Podcasts | December 11, 2025
This episode centers around Donald Trump's campaign rally in Pennsylvania, where affordability and the economy take center stage. The hosts dissect the political strategies, rhetoric, and economic promises dominating the current news cycle, and unpack Democrats' and Republicans' contrasting narratives regarding inflation, policy impacts, and political credibility. The panelists—Greg Gutfeld, Brian Kilmeade, Dana Perino, Jessica Tarloff, and Jesse Waters—bring their signature banter and sharp commentary to bear on topics ranging from tariffs and health care to Kamala Harris' political future, foreign policy moves in Latin America, and the perennial "war on Christmas."
[01:25 – 08:50]
Trump's Key Messages:
Panel’s Analysis:
“You have to know Trump speak, and most of the country does… he wasn’t saying affordability is a hoax, he’s saying affordability blamed on him is a hoax…”
(Dana Perino, 03:38)
“If he believes that, then…he had to believe it under President Biden as well…Otherwise, I think he sounds like a fool.”
(Jessica Tarloff, 04:47)
“What they like more is money in their pockets. And he’s not delivering on that again.”
(Greg Gutfeld, 08:38)
[08:50 – 11:55]
“Now, will it be enough to save the Republicans in the midterms? Probably not…But this is a long-term deal.”
(Jesse Waters, 10:21)
[13:30 – 20:41]
“I am a historic figure like any vice president of the United States ever was.”
(Kamala Harris, paraphrased by Jesse Waters, 13:40)
“Her presence gives off bad vibes for many people. And for a lot of people, they don’t want to be reminded of 2024. It’s like when I smell Parmesan cheese, it reminds me of when I threw up in third grade…”
(Greg Gutfeld, 16:17)
“Kamala Harris wants to be heard, but it’s not clear what she wants to say.”
(Jessica Tarloff, quoting reporter Shane Goldmacher, 18:49)
[22:04 – 31:55]
“It’s not that they’re interested. They think they got something as opposed to coming up with a policy to get Maduro out.”
(Dana Perino, 23:37)
“We are the biggest superpower of the world…but we don’t do it in our own hemisphere. And as of now, that has changed."
(Jesse Waters, 28:12)
[32:52 – 37:45]
“We finally have snapped out of it here. And it’s about time…Democrats have admitted they lost the culture war and they just picked the wrong battles.”
(Jesse Waters, 34:23)
“As a human being…next thing you know, you’re at like Ace Hardware and you go, did you see? There ain’t no Christmas that says holidays.”
(Brian Kilmeade, 36:00)
On Trump’s Rhetoric & Policy:
“Democrats talking about affordability is like Bonnie and Clyde preaching about public safety.”
(Donald Trump, 01:39)
On Democratic Credibility:
“You guys have no credibility because you never cared about affordability until your guy lost.”
(Brian Kilmeade, 06:40)
On the Nature of US Elections:
“It’s a two party system. People show up to vote and they decide between those two options...What they like more is money in their pockets. And he’s not delivering on that again.”
(Greg Gutfeld, 07:00 & 08:38)
On Kamala Harris:
“Kamala Harris wants to be heard, but it’s not clear what she wants to say.”
(Jessica Tarloff, 18:49, quoting NYT reporter)
On Foreign Policy Shift:
“This is now a goal to dominate Latin America…This is a huge change in American foreign policy.”
(Jesse Waters, 28:12)
On the 'War on Christmas':
“It's so funny…we finally have snapped out of this crazy brain rot we were all suffering from…The Democrats have admitted they lost the culture war and they just picked the wrong battles.”
(Jesse Waters, 34:23)
The episode maintains a lively, irreverent, and sometimes sardonic tone, typical of "The Five." Panelists interweave facts with jokes, pop culture references, and pointed criticism. The banter is fast-paced, with hosts interrupting and poking fun at one another, but also diving into moments of substantive debate—particularly around economics, health care, and foreign policy.
For listeners, this episode delivers a robust snapshot of current conservative takes on economic policy, Democratic strategy, and cultural issues heading into 2026. As Trump sets his campaign agenda around affordability and both parties gear up for a fresh round of political contests, "The Five" offers both the back-and-forth and the background listeners need to keep up. Key themes are the political narratives around economic accountability, the persistent divides and infighting among Democrats, and the ever-present interplay of policy and personality in American politics.
