All right. Hello everyone. I'm Sandra Smith along with Kayleigh McEnany, Harold Ford Jr. Jesse Waters and Greg Gutfeld. It is five o' clock in New York City and this is the five it is the Trump travel ban 2.0 in the wake of the horrific firebomb terror attack against a Jewish gathering in Boulder, Colorado, done at the hands of an illegal immigrant who overstayed his visa, President Trump is issuing a sweeping new travel ban that covers 12 countries and partially restricts entry to the US from seven others. Earlier, he explained why in the Oval.
Kayleigh McEnany
It can't come soon enough, frankly. We want to keep bad people out of our country. The Biden administration allowed some horrendous people and we're getting them out one by one and we're not stopping until we get them out. We have thousands of murderers to get them out. We want to get them out now. We don't want to have other bad people coming into our country.
Sandra Smith
But distraction trying to make the travel ban all about Elon Musk's recent criticisms of President Trump's big beautiful bill.
Kayleigh McEnany
The other obvious reason for announcing the travel ban tonight that will take effect on Monday is to turn our attention away from Elon Musk's war on Donald Trump.
Harold Ford Jr.
Trump has issued a travel ban and.
Greg Gutfeld
I think that is very effective for.
Kayleigh McEnany
This president in terms of changing the direction of headlines.
Sandra Smith
The president made a series of announcements just yesterday going after former President Biden, announcing this, certainly knowing that it would change the topic. Speaking of which, President Trump is responding to Musk.
Kayleigh McEnany
Elon and I had a great relationship.
Jesse Waters
I don't know if we're well anymore.
Kayleigh McEnany
He's worn the hat.
Jesse Waters
Trump was right about everything.
Kayleigh McEnany
Elon knew the inn workings of this bill better than almost anybody sitting here, and he only developed the problem when.
Jesse Waters
He found out that we're going to.
Kayleigh McEnany
Have to cut the EV mandate. I'm very disappointed in Elon. I've helped Elon a lot. And I'll be honest, I think he misses the place he actually went up in campaign for me.
Jesse Waters
I think I would have won.
Kayleigh McEnany
Susie would say I would have won Pennsylvania easily anyway.
Harold Ford Jr.
Oh, boy.
Sandra Smith
But Musk is firing back quite a lot on X and it continues right now. It all started with this post that said, quote, without me, Trump would have lost the election. Greg?
Jesse Waters
Yes.
Sandra Smith
Where are you going with this?
Jesse Waters
Well, I think what you're seeing is a battle between the purist and the pragmatist. I don't like it. I want it to stop. I want to tell them, if they're both watching, knock it off. We're done with this. This is an incredible moment for our country. It's awake, it's optimistic, it's on board with the golden age. Don't sabotage it with a self inflicted feud. Don't let the Dems get back up from the floor where they belong. You got two really successful people, billionaires, and they both, I guess, have egos, but they also have different ways of seeing things. The great thing about this is we all see it. This is an incredibly transparent administration. This isn't a bug in the system. This is the system. So I want you to compare this system to the one that ended in 2020. Would you take a forceful president and a billionaire publicly feuding in public over an invalid president who was kept hidden from the public, leaving the country without a leader. I'll take this any day. At least I know what's going on and I can somewhat enjoy it. But I want them to stop.
Harold Ford Jr.
I've had it.
Jesse Waters
This is like, it's like, I don't want to see my parents fighting. I just want them to get back to, I like Batman and Robin. I don't like spy versus Spy. Can I talk? Just finish up on all the outrage over the travel ban and stuff. This is a collision between adult actions and childish ideals. You know, the hysterics have gone without adult supervision for so long and the muscle of deterrence have atrophied. They don't know what it's like. That's why when Trump, every time Trump takes an adult action, it's like a big bucket of ice water on their head. But the travel bans, deportations, the criminal roundups, these are a course correction necessary. After four years of children running the candy store, doling out benefits and cash to everybody, they happily forfeited the adult role to be basically a global Santa Claus. I mean, you could have protected the country this Wouldn't have happened. But now the adults are in charge.
Sandra Smith
You know, Kelly, do you see this as a big distraction from all the good work that this administration has been able to do up to date? Will this only distract from any of those moments?
Harold Ford Jr.
I don't see it as a distraction. Yes, the liberal media will go nuts over this. They have been all week. But this was predictable. You have the richest man in the world, Elon Musk, and the most powerful man in the world, President Donald Trump. For this to work, the richest man in the world would have had to subjugate his ego to the most powerful man. Because guess who the American people elected. The man sitting behind the Resolute desk you are looking at. And Elon Musk. He did a lot of good. He brought attention to spending, to cutting spending. No one wants to touch that issue. He touched it and there was a lot of personal backlash. He lost value in his companies. He got death threats. But ultimately, President Trump is the one who won the election. For Elon Musk to say, I won Trump this election, President Trump won all, all of the swing states. He is the first person in the Republican Party to win the popular vote in 20 years. He had the highest raw vote total of any Republican nominee ever in the history of the party. Increased double digits over the last four years among Latinos, black and young people. No amount of money bought that. What bought that was a movement. And Elon Musk had to decide, I'm either going to fold into this or go away from this. And he chose to go away from this. I think it's a sad thing to see. I agree with you, Greg. I don't want to see the adults fighting, but. But I do think this was predictable.
Sandra Smith
Well, Harold, what are your Democrat friends saying about what looks like a breakup at the moment?
Greg Gutfeld
So, Sandra, good to. I'm glad you're here and glad Kaylee's here. My Democrat friends are disappointed, too. No one wants to see this. I don't think this is a Democrat or Republican thing. We should just call it for what it is. The adults are not in charge. The president did benefit from Mr. Musk. If you go back and replay and we talk about the things that we say on this show, we were right on border security. We were right on the cognitive decline of the president and we thought we were right about this relationship with the two of them. I'm hoping. I agree with you. This is not a partisan thing. I hope they're able to repair this. For the richest person in the world who happens to live in America and has dual citizenship, I think here in South Africa. And for the President of the United States who had a relationship a year ago, they were the greatest of pals. And for the world to see this is just simply not a good thing. Two, he said something. He said two things Mr. Musk did. And the president said another thing. But Mr. Musk said that he was responsible for this when and responsible for the Senate and the House. It's interesting the way he said that. I don't know if I agree with him on that. I think you make a good point, Kayleigh, but we're going to see what he means by that. Then he said something else. He said, the President's only around for three and a half years. I'm around for 40 years now. I take that to mean to those in politics, Democrat and Republican, that I'm going to be a kingmaker, continue to be a kingmaker in politics. And then the President said that he would cancel some of the contracts, that the way to save money would be to cancel contracts. I've never been one to think that the President was totally consumed by revenge and retribution. Not in my party. And others have said it. I think at times he's human. He's got flesh. So he wants to punch back and people will punch him. But why, if you really believe, we said eight weeks ago, 12 weeks ago on this show that but for Elon, we wouldn't have a space program. But for Elon Musk, we might not have the ability to communicate around the globe like we do. And certainly Ukrainians wouldn't have been able to do what they did against Russia. But for starlink, I've sat on his show and we talked. We bragged about his prowess as a technologist. So I just hope to Greg's points, I agree with you. I hope they're able to dial this back and de escalate because we may be motivated by different reasons. But I don't like it because it's not good for the country. It's not good for how we look around the globe. But I got to tell you, there are a lot of some of my Democratic friends, Sandra, who are saying let them fight. Just like they just going with the old political kind of thing. My enemy, if my friend, if my enemy is fighting with enemy, then it's okay. And then remember, Elon was a Democrat for a long, long time. So. And last, I hope I don't mind the travel ban, but I do. It's interesting that Egypt is not a part of it and the guy was from Egypt in Colorado. And as we talked about before, I wish they start tracking people who want to learn how to build Molotov cocktails online. If you go and try to build a bomb, we should know who you are. I can't buy Robitussin at a drugstore without presenting ID and being on camera. How can you go online and learn how to build a Molotov cocktail and we don't track you?
Sandra Smith
Jesse. I wonder if this means Harold's friends will start buying Teslas again.
Greg Gutfeld
They never stopped.
Jesse Waters
Maybe.
Kayleigh McEnany
Maybe Trump will torch the one that Musk gave him. Sometimes when you're angry, you say things you don't mean. Greg knocked my hair last week and I said, he's on the Epstein list.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, you did.
Kayleigh McEnany
No, I didn't mean that. I made it up.
Jesse Waters
How did you know, though?
Kayleigh McEnany
How did Musk know? No one knows what the list is. He didn't know, but sometimes guys fight. Guys sometimes will punch you in the face, and the next night you're having a beer, sleep with your girlfriend, and you patch things up. Really? Not your wife, your girlfriend. No one slept with my girlfriend. Let's put it that way. These guys are like roommates. They were living in close quarters for, like, the first six months of the year. They're just blowing off steam. The issue is donor maintenance. This guy's the mega donor. So you don't want him accusing you of being a pedophile, and you don't want him calling for your impeachment. I hope he doesn't mean that, but maybe they can patch things up. I mean, Vance called Trump Hitler and he's on the ticket. My issue is that the media said that Musk was the co president. He doesn't look like the co president anymore. The media said Trump was doing favors for Elon Musk. Well, if you look at this big, beautiful bill, there's no favors for Elon Musk in it at all. Now, the big, beautiful bill, now he's got a beef with it. These are the things that Trump ran on and won on Wall Ice Skies. So you could do mass deportations, military F35 ships, pay raises for the troops, and tax relief for everybody. No tax on tips. These are the things that won him the election. He didn't run on balancing the budget. So this is the priority right now. You have four years to balance the budget. Yeah, there's a lot of pork in this thing. There's always a little pork. All right, but this is not a spending bill. This is the signature piece of Donald Trump's second term. This may be the last major piece of legislation Trump ever passes. Well, he might have three terms, but for now we're saying this is it. Now, I don't like the fact that he said that he won the election. This guy got shot, popped back right up. He won all the swing states. He, he was always ahead in the polls. The money was great. Trust me, the money helped. Thank you, Elon Musk. But if money wins elections, Kamala should have coasted. She had twice the cash. And if money wins elections, then Elon should have been able to win those seats in Wisconsin. So Trump so far has taken the high road. I think Elon right now, think about it. I thought he was gonna call him a drug addict about an hour ago. He hasn't called him that yet.
Greg Gutfeld
Let's see.
Kayleigh McEnany
I think Trump should just take the high road, let Elon blow off some steam. They're both power, powerful men, great men, and they'll patch it up.
Sandra Smith
The night is young, that is for sure. All right, just ahead, the knives are out for Kareem Biden. World is savaging KJP for ditching the Dems.

Harold Ford Jr.

Sandra Smith
How do we get out of this? How do we protect our democracy? And this is my answer. And what I mean by that is in an era of misinformation, disinformation, what I have decided to do, and I really have thought long and hard about this, is to follow my own components. They are cheap, fakes, video. They are done in bad faith. Is anyone in the White House hiding information about the president's health or his ability to do the job day to day?
Jesse Waters
Absolutely not.
Greg Gutfeld
He is as sharp as ever.
Sandra Smith
There's been no cover up.
Greg Gutfeld
Want to be very clear about that.
Harold Ford Jr.
Those didn't age well. Well, if you haven't heard by now, Karine Jean Pierre is leaving the Democratic Party and writing a book. Suffice to say, ex Biden staffers, they were not happy trashing the former press secretary like crazy. Some calling it a grift, others a bizarre cash grab. Former Biden policy advisor Tim Wu posted, then deleted this quote. The real problem with Karine Jean Pierre was that she was kind of dumb. No interest in understanding harder topics, just gave random, incoherent answers on policy. Ouch. Even the usual lapdogs in the media could not hide their mockery.
Sandra Smith
This is just all an attempt to sell books.
Jesse Waters
And that is what the general consensus is right now.
Harold Ford Jr.
There's something called loyalty and that there's you should not go out and kiss and tell and kind of poo poo your colleagues and pooh pooh your Democratic Party that put you on this pedestal. As a Democrat myself, what I would rather see is people rolling up their.
Sandra Smith
Sleeves like, you got.
Harold Ford Jr.
You got a solution, bring it to the table. I don't think I can emphasize how brutal this is. Former colleagues. You know, she's probably wondering who these people are criticizing her personally, saying she was one of the most ineffectual, unprepared people I've ever worked with. She had meltdowns after interviews that asked about a topic not sent by producers. Another former colleague. The amount of time spent coddling her was astronomical compared to our attention and actual matters of substance. Jesse, you affectionately call her the Binder, and it appears that the Biden White House was not a fan of the Binder.
Kayleigh McEnany
Well, now I call her DEI Tapper because it's the same book Tapper wrote. And now CNN's like, it's a money grab. Well, then what the hell was Tapper's book? That not a money grab. Listen, you can't say Biden was great and the White House was the best since FDR and then leave the party six months later and say the White House was broken. If you knew it was broken. If you said all that stuff, you should have left and let Kirby take the job. Remember, Kirby was better and everybody wanted Kirby, but she was a black gay woman and you couldn't touch her because of this whole DEI structure they had. And so everybody out there saying the same thing we did, this thing comes out and they're like, you know, she was unprepared. She was really stupid, and she was out of touch. That's what we said.
Jesse Waters
And we were called racist, and we.
Kayleigh McEnany
Were called racist and sexist. And now they're saying the exact same thing. Fox said they're saying the exact same thing. Everybody in the country saw It's Tapper all over again.
Jesse Waters
And everyone knows that's not why you're racist.
Harold Ford Jr.
They're for people reasons. Oh no. All right, we'll cut this off. Greg. I'm kidding, you know. I know you are. 11:45am yesterday about when the story broke. By 1:30pm there was a Politico story saying seven former colleagues had said the group text light up. That's two hours. I mean, thinking of you. You only have four former colleagues on the five. But like imagine if you announced a book and by two hours later you had your four former colleagues leak into Politico.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, well, you know what, it's Jesse kind of said everything I was going to say, but I'm going to defend her. It's on the Dems. They didn't hire her for loyalty. They didn't hire her for competence. They hired her because she checks more boxes than an Amazon driver. By showing up, she fulfilled the job and they used her identity to shield the malfeasance of a cover up. If you do come hard at her, it's because you're obviously racist. And there are no loyalties in intersectionality or identity politics because by definition it is transactional. My identity is the commodity and you get nothing more. I am here as a person because of what I am. They hired a black lesbian and they didn't expect anything beyond that. You know, I'm gonna pretend I'm Jesse and use a troubling analogy.
Greg Gutfeld
Troubling permission.
Jesse Waters
Kayleigh, you know kjp, he's like a really hot girl hired as a hostess at the restaurant. You know, she's only there cuz she's hot. But if you expect her to answer the phones or check on a reservation, that's your fault.
Kayleigh McEnany
You got me.
Greg Gutfeld
You got me.
Harold Ford Jr.
Well done, well played. You know, Sandra, I'm just thinking sitting in that office, you know, she's. That's hilarious. She's seeing private publicists on emails, government emails, and her colleagues reported her to White House counsel's office. I mean that, that's crazy. What was she doing?
Sandra Smith
I think about the amount of viewers that we have in daytime television on Fox News Channel. She wouldn't give interviews. I mean the entire time that she held that she would not come in and give an interview. We covered many of these White House press briefings. We carried them live during our show. And I don't think there was anybody who was watching her and thinking, wow, she's really in the inner circle of what's going on. You got the impression that she was kind of just shoved out the door to act the part of the White House press secretary. But we really questioned whether or not she was really giving us, you know, real information from the Oval Office. She spent a lot of that time talking about those false videos and deep fakes during Biden's decline. And she was convincing the media and telling the American public they were fools if they didn't believe that that was just partisan politics at play. You think back to all of those moments and now you hear white former White House staffers that worked with her going on the record. Actually, this is a former White House official under the Biden administration. She didn't know how to manage a team. She didn't know how to shape or deliver a message. It often created more problems than she solved. You got the sense sometimes when you're watch these briefings, it was like a NASCAR race, that there was a crash about to happen. So I, bottom line, I think people watching and seeing this happen think what a disservice to the American public to have that, that person to have been our White House press secretary answering the most critical questions for our nation at that time.
Harold Ford Jr.
You know, Harold, I'm interested to see the posture she takes towards Biden because she calls it a broken White House. But she, a month before the election, was promoted to senior adviser. They clearly saw her as someone loyal. Do you think she's still loyal?
Greg Gutfeld
Well, we'll see. So I take a little different approach to this. I don't know her, so there's no friendship or relationship here. But I do think. I don't like what some of the things that people are saying, the negative things about her being unprepared and her being not substantive. They kept her around for a long time. If they didn't want, if they thought that was the case, certainly anyone could not be prepared and not be substantive. And you fired them. They didn't do that. Two, I don't like what she's done. I hate kiss and tellers. You don't work for the President of the United States and have that kind of proximity to him and then write a kiss and tell book. I think your point about the DEI thing is pretty funny. And Jesse's not a racist. He just plays one on tv. I'm joking. I think the people who are saying some of these things about her and questioning her substance and so forth, I guess at some point they don't know what she's going to write. In this book, she talked about a White House that was broken. And I Guess to your point, Greg and Jesse, you've been saying this for a long time. Two of you have as well, on your shows. But we have. The show has been saying this. You're going to have to wonder in the book, what did she know, when did she know it, and what did she do about it as it relates to the cognitive decline? Or for that matter, if she says the White House was broken and those who were responsible for breaking it. I guess maybe some of, some of the reason why they're being so critical of her is because of that. The whole thing is a mess. And I got to tell you, just as an outsider and someone doesn't know her, I'm not particularly interested in hearing her thoughts about being an independent. I'm glad she is, and I'm glad that she's figuring out her own political identity. But the whole thing is a mess. I mean, don't kiss and tell, don't criticize your colleagues like this. And frankly, all of you are going to have questions to answer about what was happening in that White House.
Harold Ford Jr.
But I would just say it's not just Republicans saying she was unprepared. These are former colleagues. They didn't say this about Jen Psaki. They didn't say this about me. They didn't say this about Sarah Sanders, like, what motivated him.
Greg Gutfeld
But you all didn't write books about him either. So I just think it's a bad look for all of them. If you said you were going to write a book, they might have said something bad about you. Or if you, you know, don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting anyone would say anything bad about you. And you got a little baby coming. Now, I don't want to say anything bad about you right now. My only point is I think it's a bad look for all of them.
Harold Ford Jr.
Yeah. Okay. All right. Up next, TDS alert. George Clooney worried about being targeted by Trump.
Sandra Smith

It'S TDS Thursday, everybody. The bad hair dye has seeped into his brain. George Clooney is worried that Trump's targeting him.
Jesse Waters
Do you worry about, I mean, personally being targeted by the administration? Sure, everybody worries about it, but, you know, if you spend your life worrying about things, then you won't do things. Do you think Trumpism lasts beyond this term?
Greg Gutfeld
Don't think so.
Jesse Waters
They're going to have to go looking.
Greg Gutfeld
For someone who can deliver the message that he delivered with the same kind of charisma, and they don't have that you have.
Kayleigh McEnany
And Jim Acosta held a resistance Woodstock featuring headliners like Rosie o' Donnell and Crockett Rocket and this lady who came out in a taco hat. The show even had an encore. Pull out the phone and dim the lights.
Greg Gutfeld
Pull out the phone. Turn the light on.
Kayleigh McEnany
Us too.
Jesse Waters
You guys, too.
Greg Gutfeld
It may feel like we are surrounded in darkness. This is not a country that is being plunged into darkness. This is a country that can find its way back to the light.
Kayleigh McEnany
Keep watching us in independent media, we're.
Greg Gutfeld
Going to give you the truth when.
Kayleigh McEnany
Gutfeld goes on the road. You asked the audience to do that, right?
Jesse Waters
Exactly. I also asked them to throw their bras at me.
Greg Gutfeld
You know what?
Jesse Waters
There's only one person on the planet who takes Jim Acosta seriously, and it's Jim Acosta. To have any less self awareness than this pompous ass, you'd have to be dead. He literally. I mean, I can't. He's parodying himself. This is comedy. I'm gonna do a whole segment on it tonight because I loved it. Clooney. There's something about when you say that you're being targeted that is an ego trip. It's basically saying, like, I am so important that I'm on the list. But if he believes it, he only should blame himself because he basically brainwashed himself. You're seeing a lot of the narratives of hysteria in which they tried to compel us to believe, and we don't. We don't buy into it. They ended up consuming the hysteria. So they're like, they're in. I mean, that's what TDS is, is that they brainwash themselves into thinking that this somehow is a danger, like they're in danger. What's amazing, and I think that a big untold story is how the public has refused to be compelled into their fantasy even more. We vocalize it, we mock it, we say, no, we're not gonna. It's like when people were doing pronouns. No, we're not gonna do that. Go screw yourself. We don't care. This kind of stuff, we're just, like, laughing at it. It's an incredible freedom. And that's why this show does great and all of our shows do great and comedy's back is because we are free of this and we refuse to have our thoughts compelled by these people.
Kayleigh McEnany
Yeah, they don't seem happy. They've created this alternative reality for themselves. They're living a miserable life while the rest of us are like, oh, the golden age.
Jesse Waters
Not that bad.
Sandra Smith
Yeah. I mean, you have to go back all the way to 2016, when George Clooney was very confident that there would not be a Donald Trump presidency. And he said so. He goes on to point out that this is a celebrity is charismatic. There will be nobody who can deliver a message like Donald Trump. Therefore, I think his prediction is that the Republicans can't possibly win again without a Donald Trump or somebody identical to him. I don't think Democrats are offering somebody out there right now who can possibly carry on their message. Even challenged in that interview on that, which I think is fascinating. I look at George Clooney. I tried to forget about the hair dye, because that's an issue. He's super wealthy, right. Millions of dollars, super successful movies, handsome guy, charismatic, beautiful wife. And I don't know why they don't hang out in Lake Como a little bit more rather than walk around and tell the American people what they should be thinking. It just kind of blows my mind. I don't know. I don't understand how you just don't go. Enjoy life, George Clooney. Let us enjoy your movies.
Kayleigh McEnany
Sandra's mind. Harold, should George Clooney run for president as a Democrat?
Greg Gutfeld
If he wants to, he should. I think that. And I don't mean that. Flip flame. He has a lot of thoughts and he is involved in George party.
Kayleigh McEnany
George and I. George and I.
Greg Gutfeld
So here's what I don't get with the acosta and with Mr. Clooney. Here you have a moment where we don't have a trade deal, but for Great Britain, the wars in Ukraine, the Middle east rage still. I want them to come to an end. The president said he would end them on day one. Inflation is still high.
Jesse Waters
No, it's not.
Greg Gutfeld
It is.
Jesse Waters
No.
Sandra Smith
Prices are high. Inflation's down.
Greg Gutfeld
The uncertainty around. The uncertainty around for small businesses. All I'm saying is this is the conversation they should be having. We may differ on that, and that's fine. But I wouldn't be out talking about with Acosta, those kinds of things. I just, I'm not in the cell phone light business, like in waving and stuff. I think that's a good. Some people have to do that. But there are issues. The reason that people voted for President Trump, we talked around his stage was because he's speaking to them. This doesn't connect with anything other than the small group of people around us now with Mr. Clooney and I think Mr. Cooper, had they done that interview like an hour ago after the Musk Trump breakup, maybe they would have had a different kind of segment on. Maybe would have said, look, you know, Mr. Trump is now going after his great friend saying he's going to cancel contracts. Might have had a different conversation about it. But that still doesn't make me depart from my belief that we should be substantive, we should be talking about the things we want to do. We should be laying out something positive, things that we're for, for the country. Cuz that's the only way we're going to win.
Kayleigh McEnany
You tangled with Acosta a few times. How do you think he's doing?
Harold Ford Jr.
Kaylee, life comes full circle. He went from yelling at me in the Brady press briefing room to yelling into a half empty venue of activists. And I'm just wondering, you know, I told his CNN colleague I wouldn't call on her because she was an activist and not a journalist. And I'm wondering, can we all agree he's now an activist, he's standing by someone in an F. Donald shirt, another person in a taco cap, while he's very clearly engaging in advocacy for the left and he gets away with his lies. I mean, I'll never forget the moment he talked about. He invoked Dr. Martin Luther King because I had shared a very nice quote from Dr. Martin Luther King at the podium about Lafayette Square. And he said, if you had to do it again, would you have gassed and pummeled protesters so Trump could take a photo with the Bible? Well, a year later, the inspector general under Biden said that never happened and there was no evidence. And off Jim Acosta goes into the glory of left wing activism with zero accountability. I guess there was some. CNN fired him, but they should have fired him for his lies, not for being a bad television host.
Jesse Waters
And even it was half filled. They were all union guys, people that were like basically bussed in there.
Kayleigh McEnany
And you're gonna be doing that on gutsold exclamation.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, we're doing a whole hour.
Kayleigh McEnany
The whole hour. It's a special.
Jesse Waters
Yep.
Kayleigh McEnany
Okay.
Jesse Waters
Can't wait I was there undercover. I was the taco.
Harold Ford Jr.
I thought you were Rosie.
Kayleigh McEnany
Up next, a Democrat rebranding disaster. President Trump is more popular than ever. Don't change horses in the middle of a stream. This episode is brought to you by Avid Reader Press. Legendary investor Ray Dalio's new book, How Countries Go the Big Cycle, explains the mechanics behind big debt crises. Larry Summer says Dalio's brilliant, iconoclastic approach is an invaluable resource. And Hank Paulson says it provides a solution to what is the biggest and most threat to our prosperity. Read it to understand the greatest economic issue of our time. Available now.
Jesse Waters
Wherever books are sold, the Democrat Party can't get it up. I'm talking about their poll numbers, Sandra.
Harold Ford Jr.
You weirdos.
Jesse Waters
According to Real Clear Politics, at this point in their second terms, President Trump has a higher average approval rating than President Barrio. To help stem the bleeding, hundreds of centrist dams held what Politico was calling the moderate Democrats. Coachella. An event called welcome Fest. And naturally it got crashed by the far left.
Greg Gutfeld
I think we have protesters. Welcome. Oh.
Jesse Waters
Oh.
Greg Gutfeld
Jesus Christ. The greatest threat to our democracy does not come from the far left or from the far right, but it comes from the cowardice and complacency of a center that lives in fear of the extreme.
Harold Ford Jr.
Just being a normal person, being on Team Normal right now really helps Team Normal.
Jesse Waters
Harold, they should have listened to us. Isn't the fact that Trump's ratings are higher is because we have an actual president, which is a refreshing change.
Greg Gutfeld
I do. I agree with you that President Biden, you look at. It's refreshing to see whether you agree with President Trump or not. He at least goes before the cameras and speaks for 20, 30 minutes without unfiltered. However, I've said before Trump's numbers, he's upside down on a lot of things that really matter to people. One of his advantages is that people believe that he really wants to do the things he wants to do. And the other advantage is Democrats suck. And so I admire what they're doing. They're at least trying to say that we're back. We want to be taken seriously. Because if you can't be listened to, if people don't take you seriously, you can't talk about the fact that middle class Americans, I believe, are going to get left behind if the big beautiful bill passes. I have an ally now, a guy that used to be with the president. You can't say that we're going to solve wars. If indeed all you're now saying is we're going to throw our hands up and we're going to watch what happens in Ukraine and Russia. Those are the things I'd be saying if I was Democrats and then offer solutions. That's what I've been trying to say on the show for a long time. So this is a much more positive step than some of the things we've shown before where people are out singing in front of federal agencies, people are out cussing in committee rooms and calling people F words. And they said this. Now, get me wrong, I love what Richie said. We should not be afraid of these people. You shouldn't be afraid Republicans who are on the far right and Democrats shouldn't be afraid of those in the far left because our country deserves, deserves to hear from us all. And I happen to think selfishly that those in the middle, we're the ones that should be governing on the Democrat side and the Republican side.
Jesse Waters
Kayleigh, what are your thoughts?
Harold Ford Jr.
Trump is doing great. His real clear politics average at this point in his second term is beating Obama's and beating bushes. So he needs to just keep doing what he's doing and keep putting wins on the board. Democrats, in theory, these are the people you should be listening to, Harold. Seven of these 12 Democrats won in Trump districts. But these are just words on paper. When I hear Alyssa Slotkin, who outperformed Kamala In, I think, 28 of all but 28 districts in Michigan, so she did better than Kamala. That's great to say. I want to be on Team Normal. But here's the real problem for Democrats and how do you change this? When voters say Trump is a lion and they say you are a sloth, this isn't about just coming up with polling and messaging. This is about making a sloth into a lion. And who in your mind can become a lion? I mean, outside of Gavin Newsom, I don't see that you guys have anyone and even him. I don't bank on it. We've got J.D. vance, Marco Rubio, a long list of lions, and there's a whole bunch of sloths.
Greg Gutfeld
One of your lions just left the den and said he's now against them. So.
Harold Ford Jr.
Well, he was never qualified to run for president based on constitutional standards.
Greg Gutfeld
Whoa, Harold.
Jesse Waters
Wow.
Greg Gutfeld
Maybe I'll take your money, Elon. We'll take it. Those of us in the middle of Democrats. Come on, come on, be with me.
Kayleigh McEnany
They're trying to poach, Greg. Yeah, trying to poach our biggest mega donor. And I say our not as a Republican, just as an American.
Jesse Waters
Jess, you're already talking, so continue.
Kayleigh McEnany
All right. His poll numbers are good because he's taking strong action and communicating what the action is for the first time in four years. And he has a lot to fix. I mean, he was handed wars, border crisis, inflation, bad trade deals. He was handed a lot more than most presidents. And so the people are patient. It's not even July 4th, Harold, saying, well, this isn't done well, this isn't. Give the man time. He'll work it out. And if he doesn't work it out, then they won't give him a good rating. The Democratic Party, they're in trouble. It's not just factions fighting. They don't even know what they represent. They used to represent the middle class. Now they represent rich people. They're a mess. The Republican Party, despite the Musk feud, is more unified than it's ever been. And if it can stay like that, they could do pretty well in the midterms. Not red wave, just pretty well.
Jesse Waters
You know, Sandra, I think the other thing that helps Trump is the media has lost a lot of its power. People don't buy into their stories because of the Biden hoax.
Sandra Smith
I think that's fair enough. And every time we have these crowds of people and reporters out there with a microphone, the number one thing you hear from voters who supported Donald Trump in the last election was them cheering him on the border and closing the border. Immigration was such a huge issue in the election. He's answered their calls. When it comes to targeting criminals and going after crime in some of these big cities where people were just fed up with the last administration's policies, he's answered those calls. Also, when it comes to the economy and slowing inflation, Harold, he has done that. He has gone after the things that matter to the American voters the most. And I don't know how you can go wrong in the polls when it comes to that.
Jesse Waters
Yeah, in their face again.
Greg Gutfeld
But if Democrats were just serious. I don't disagree with anything you're saying, but if all the thing you're saying is, why get the big, beautiful bill passed if everybody's so united?
Kayleigh McEnany
Well, it's July 4th is the deadline. They think it'll pass by then, Harold.
Jesse Waters
All right, time to move on. Up next, the bots are taking over the lots.
Kayleigh McEnany

Welcome back. This puts my robot lookalike to shame. Cat got your tongue? Oh, what'd you say?
Sandra Smith
What's your name?
Greg Gutfeld
We don't have a name yet.
Kayleigh McEnany
Yo.
Sandra Smith
Walmart has got a security.
Harold Ford Jr.
That's a robot.
Greg Gutfeld
Whoa. Walmart has a robot parking lot security guard meant to boost safety and deter crime. Now, there's a seriousness to this, Jess, that we saw a lot of companies laying off people, big companies, including tech companies, and a lot of them are laying off because of the advent of AI and these kinds of things. You want a robot monitoring and surveilling parking lots in the evening when Emma's there with the kids, or would you want a human being there?
Kayleigh McEnany
I want a big fat guy with a tie up to his belly button that falls asleep with his coffee like this. He's cute and it makes me feel comfortable. We used to go to golf courses. You remember the guy at the range that would drive that metal cage and you'd try to, like, hit him with the ball? He would suck up all the golf balls. They don't have those anymore. They just have robots that suck up the balls. Now, Harold, and you should know this because you're so hoity toity, they have machines that mow the lawn. So the guys that we hire that used to mow the lawn, they're out of a job. It's a robot lawnmower now. Where does it stop, Harold? Am I going to a few years? Turn to my right and it's a robot spitting out Democrat talking points. We're pretty close to it.
Greg Gutfeld
Sandra, your thoughts on this?
Sandra Smith
I don't know. I embrace it. I mean, I had a dinner served to us on a robot with a tray. I don't know where. We were traveling somewhere. I mean, it's happening. It's okay. I don't think I want it to guard my life.
Greg Gutfeld
Mr. Exclamation Point.
Jesse Waters
Your thoughts on a robot who sucks up balls. I believe that's called the Kardashian. Oh, God. That's all I got.
Greg Gutfeld
Whoa, Kaylee, that's a great transition to you. What are your thoughts about these robots?
Harold Ford Jr.
On that note, these stories scare the heck out of me. And I think we're all going to die a sad, slow death by robot. The more I see, I don't think it's Arms. Very sad. I know, but people want to marry robots now. Gen Z. Like, that's frightening. Like, disgusting. Weird. Kardashian. If it's a Kardashian, maybe. I don't know.
Greg Gutfeld
One More Thing is up next.
Harold Ford Jr.
Dry eyes still feel all right.
Sandra Smith
It is time for One More Thing, Greg.
Jesse Waters
Okay, Tonight we got a great show for Thursday. We got Mr. Mike Baker, Brianna, Lyman, Kennedy, and Tyrus. Hey, let's do this, Greg. Sports Corner.
Greg Gutfeld
All right.
Jesse Waters
I love sports almost as much as I love beef and guns. Pickup trucks. But why didn't you do this? You didn't even let me see. Set it up. Anyway, if you're like me, the WNBA just doesn't feel like real basketball. So here's some sea otters at the Oregon Zoo actually playing some basketball to keep their elbow joints healthy because older otters, I don't know if you know this, are prone to stiffness and arthritis.
Sandra Smith
Okay, Harold?
Greg Gutfeld
I love the wnba. You do? A Texas principal went above and beyond to bid farewell to his graduating high school seniors. Summit High School principal Jason Mutterer wrote each of the 443 students handwritten letter and presented them with a dollar. The dollar was explaining his speech at the ceremony. That 443 Random Acts of kindness can start a ripple. God bless that man.
Sandra Smith
That's nice.
Kayleigh McEnany
Okay, Jesse, we got a hot one on Fox Nation. The art of the Surge. This is a rare look inside Trump's quest to become the 47th president. Backstage at the rally inside Mar A Lago, you witness the final minutes of the election morning and his historic campaign. The art of the Surge. Only on Fox Nation tonight, Jesse Waters. Primetime Trump and musk duel with swords. Eight o' clock.
Sandra Smith
That's gonna be a good one.
Jesse Waters
All right.
Sandra Smith
Some adorable footage, meanwhile, from a local farmer's market in Denver. Two pups trying to beat the beginning of the Dog Davis summer by chilling out on a bed of ice under an umbrella. How sweet. All right, who did we not get?
Jesse Waters
Kaylee.
Harold Ford Jr.
I'll take the dogs over the duel, Jesse, but I'll be watching that duel on your show. All right, so the 81st anniversary of D Day is tomorrow, and a remarkable group of World War II veterans return to Normandy, France. You see it there. Decades after that historic moment, these heroes came together to honor the courage and sacrifice. Their visit's a powerful reminder of the bravery, unity, and freedoms we are lucky to have today as we remember that day, June 6, 1944.
Jesse Waters
Are we going to just ignore the elephant in the room?
Kayleigh McEnany
What's that?
Harold Ford Jr.
What?
Jesse Waters
Why are you guys both wearing yellow?
Kayleigh McEnany
Yeah.
Jesse Waters
Some kind of special day.
Sandra Smith
We just felt happy.
Jesse Waters
No, what is this? Is this Pride Month? What does yellow stand for in Pride Month? I mean, I don't want. No, you know what? I don't want to know.
Harold Ford Jr.
We wanted to outmatch I don't want.
Jesse Waters
To know what yellow stands for in Pride month.
Harold Ford Jr.
We wanted to outmatch the Elon Trump duel. So this is the Sandra Kaylee color duel.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Sandra Smith
Love it. All right, that does it for us.
Greg Gutfeld
This is Jason Chaffetz from the Jason.
