Dana Perino
Hello, everyone.
Emily Compagno
I'm Emily Compagno along with Lawrence Jones, Joey Jones, Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld. It's 5 o' clock in New York City and this is the 5 Fox News alert. A bail hearing is about to get underway for Sean Diddy Combs, a judge deciding if the rat mogul will be released or stay locked up after he was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was cleared of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. We are monitoring that and will bring you the latest. But now to this major victory for women's sports as UPENN agrees to President Trump's mandate and bans transgender women from female sports teams. The Ivy League also revoking the titles of trans swimmer Lia Thomas. All the female athletes who were displaced by Thomas will be reinstated and they will get a written apology from the school. Thomas, former teammates Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlon. Reacting to the news.
Riley Gaines
I feel vindicated. I feel like pigs are flying. I feel like hell has frozen over. So it is a fantastic day, of course, for sanity, for common sense, but I think more broadly for women, for humanity, for the little girl that I'm growing inside of me right now, I think starting at the University of Pennsylvania.
Emily Compagno
Very, very good seeing, getting this done.
Riley Gaines
Getting the records corrected.
Emily Compagno
But I want to see this happen at every pool he competed at and.
Riley Gaines
Every other pool that other athletes that were male competed in women's sports as well.
Emily Compagno
Greg, this is a huge win, but is this like celebrating a murder conviction of a loved one, where it's a victory but it shouldn't have happened in the first place? It still doesn't restore them.
Greg Gutfeld
It was necessary. I mean, this is not about women's sports alone. It's about truth, biology, morality. It was a battle over your own mind, what you think and what people. That is a mob, a cowardly mob could compel you to believe and obey? You have heroes in this story. J.K. rowling, Riley Gaines. There were a few reporters and journalists who shared the risk and, and fought this twisted ideology in the face of persecution of unhinged and violent activists. And disillusioned strange men. We pushed this story hard because, I mean, for me personally, the mob think and this mass delusion, I wanted to break it open. I wanted to see what would happen if you faced it. So I just want to go through the villains in this. You had the media that blamed all the brave people that stood up as transphobic, when in reality, what is transphobic? Fear of telling the truth to trans. It was the media that was actually transphobic. Then you had teachers who defended lying to parents about their kids. You had cowards on social media who bullied people like Riley Gaines behind their virtue signaling pronouns. Then you had the hacks that promoted the false stats on trans suicide. You had ESPN who lauded Thomas as a female icon. You had the Biden White House who promoted trans ideology by appointing trans people in the cab. The medical establishment who pushed the false science while butchering kids. Celebrities who promoted their children like it was a tequila brand. And then there are parents who use their kids identity to build their own identity. What do you call it? Munchausen by proxy. Then you have the men themselves. They're not women. They're hardly men. They're autogynephiliacs. They found a way to game society to indulge their fetish. And their fetish wasn't just to dress up as women.
Riley Gaines
It was.
Greg Gutfeld
It was to garner public humiliation.
Dana Perino
It was a.
Greg Gutfeld
It was a humiliation fetish. This is why the Dems lost. They cowered before a fetish that caused irreparable harm. And they gaslit the public who knew better but were too scared to say anything for fear of being mobbed. Right now you have a candidate, New York City, who wants to take $70 million from taxpayers to pay for more butchery. This is a huge victory. But it's not just about sports.
Emily Compagno
One of my favorite comments today, Dana, by a loved one was, america is healing that this. Is this a really important step back to restoring. But you know, again, Thomas took the place. These male athletes took the place of female. So restoring or stripping away the awards, it still doesn't account for everything that was actually lost.
Joey Jones
You have to admit that it's pretty absurd that it takes an act of a president to allow women to win in women's sports. I mean, what a world. And all the things Greg said I would echo and I would add, this not only took away opportunity, but it was scholarship money, possibly it was award money, it was sponsorship money, because this started and it eked out in swimming. I don't know if it started there, but that's when we first start really learning about it. And then every day we could do a different story about another sport where this was happening to women and where were the champion women athletes who had already succeeded. I'm sorry, Billie Jean Keene. She played the battle of the sexes for a reason. She's wildly successful, and she was silent on this. Martina Navrat Shlova.
Emily Compagno
Okay, great.
Joey Jones
Thank you. One, we got one woman athlete that would stand up for these girls. And what was amazing to me is how poised Riley Gaines and Paula have been. And they're not the only ones. These women who took a little bit of speech training and media training and found their voice because nobody else was sticking up for them. That is an incredible accomplishment for them. The other thing that the President has been able to do, and I give props to secretary Linda McMahon as well, who has accomplished so much in her career, but this might be the crowning achievement, in my opinion, because she's saving women's sports. You have a situation where the University of Pennsylvania has a chance to shock itself out of the delusion that it was in, in following the mob. And when the history books are written about this period, people can look back and go, what? That's insane. They did what? And hopefully we live long enough to read that history. Because I'm hoping that a lot of these things happen pretty quickly now that University of Penn has gone through it.
Emily Compagno
Right. And included in that Joey Upenn nominated Leah Thomas as NCAA Woman of the Year. So now we have holdout's main CA, CA, etc. Are they going to hold out forever or do you think they're just going to finally cave in when there's such an exodus of female athletes that flock to states that actually protect them?
Dana Perino
Yeah, well, first of all, you're the lawyer, so you have better insight on this than I do. But the NCAA was recently sued and lost a settlement called the House Settlement, where players from all over the country can go back to the university and get paid for their name, image and likeness. Before that, there was a Supreme Court ruling against the NCAA about how name, image and likeness and players can receive money. The reason why I bring that up is that really, when you go back to it, even this decision from this college says, but we were in compliance with the NCAA rules of eligibility. It seems to me like that's low hanging fruit. I mean, from what I Understand, there are two aspects to this. One, the Trump administration withheld more than $700 million in grants from the university. So maybe part of their motivation was to get that money quicker. But the other side is they had a lawsuit moving forward that this is a settlement of. So the Trump administration must be pretty confident about their case. What the leverage they have. And I don't see where in a settlement with one university, they can't take that same leverage to the NCA or any number of other universities. And at the end of the day, I hope every single girl that was forced to share a locker room with a fully intact 6 foot 4 man sues the hell out of every school and every authority that made them do that when they were asking not to.
Emily Compagno
That's the thing, lj. I can't. I cannot get over exactly that fact. It's the criminal code that covers that. So we prosecuted coaches and teachers for sexual assault. Should the schools be held criminally accountable for forcing minors, minor women, young women, to be naked in front of fully intact naked males? Because that is squarely covered by the criminal code. And I think that's what's next, too.
Lawrence Jones
Well, since I'm in hero seat and I'm chocolate, it's good to be back around the table. I guess I would is. This should be a simple issue for the left, because this is something they claim to preach. Atonement, correcting history, reparations, statues. Except for in many cases, they get the history wrong, they bastardize this. It's too far to track the genealogy to get it right. Except we have all the tape, we have all the records, all the people that are involved in these lawsuits are still living. So I think from a criminal standpoint, yes, there should be some lawsuits there. But give them their medals, change the books, remove the statues, do everything that you guys have been claiming for every other historical event, except for we know the people that were victimized and they're still living. There's still time to atone here. You know who I'm watching? I'm watching Harvard because they're a part of this as well. One of the competitions was there, and they will not cave on any of the issues here. But this university, they need the money. Harvard doesn't. I think in the court of public opinion, though, they've already lost. We just had a whole election where men stood up, where women should have stood up, men stood up and said, we're rejecting this.
Emily Compagno
Yeah, well, hopefully we'll see a lot more, but we'll take note of exactly who was there from the beginning. All right, guys, Diddy has entered back into the courtroom for his bond hearing ahead of the judge's decision. If the rat Mogul walks free out of that courthouse or stays in jail until sentencing. And coming up, the Democrats are having a big, beautiful meltdown as President Trump's big, beautiful bill inches closer to his desk. Stay with us. Cerevital Advanced has been. You know that one friend who somehow.
Riley Gaines
Knows everything about money?
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Riley Gaines
Now imagine they live in your phone.
Emily Compagno
Say hey to Experian, your big financial friend.
Riley Gaines
It's the app that helps you check.
Greg Gutfeld
Your FICO score, find ways to save.
Joey Jones
And basically feel like a financial genius.
Riley Gaines
And guess what, it's totally free.
Joey Jones
So go on, download the Experian app.
Greg Gutfeld
Trust me, having a BFF like this.
Riley Gaines
Is a total game changer.
Greg Gutfeld
He was standing in the sun.
Dana Perino
Standing in the sun.
Joey Jones
All right. The Democrats eyeing a big, beautiful opportunity for 2028, they think. So after the Senate passed Trump's big, beautiful bill, sending it to the House, potential White House contenders like AOC Gavin Newsom, and you know, Mayor Pete, he was up in there all posting the same bat signal, talking points on X, blaming the Vice President's tie breaking vote for allegedly taking health care away from Americans. And that sentiment getting echoed by other lawmakers as they tried to stop it.
Emily Compagno
This bill is a deal with the devil.
Lawrence Jones
I am shaking with fury over what just happened. Vote no. If it's a big bull bill, this.
Greg Gutfeld
Bill is trickle down cruelty and people.
Riley Gaines
Will die because of it.
Lawrence Jones
Hell no.
Dana Perino
Against this one big ugly bill, the.
Joey Jones
Occupant of the Oval Office, this fascist dictator white supremacist in chief, is doing is equal opportunity harm. And check out these Democrat doctors dressed up in white lab coats parked outside Speaker Mike Johnson's office. But it looks like nobody was paying them any attention. Wow, Greg, once you say all of those things, where do you go from here? What else is there to say?
Greg Gutfeld
They really are the human version of hysterical tweets like we make fun of. I'm shaking. I'm literally shaking. You should see a doctor about that. The Dems traffic in these half opinions where they say, oh my God, if tax cuts. If you cut taxes, the deficit will balloon. Will not if you grow the economy, because then that shrinks the percentage of debt. You hope that happens, and usually it does. They also don't mention that raising taxes won't shrink the deficit if you spend it before you even put it in the bank account. Which is what Democrats do whenever they raise taxes. They also say, oh my God, you're cutting Medicaid. You're throwing, you're throwing the poor and needy. No, no, no. These are young, able Bodied people and illegals. You know, this isn't a free buffet for people who can pay for it. So enough with that. The debt is an existential threat, but climate change wasn't. Where were these dams for the past 10 years? They were blowing up the deficit to fund a climate policy that was based on Frau fraudulent data to line cronies pockets. So it was the biggest grift in history. They were happy to drive the economy to the brink of ruin, which we're trying to pull back without any data to back it up. So you don't even have to pay attention to them. They're comical.
Joey Jones
So on the health care front, Joey, every time a Democrat goes on TV, they add 2 to 3 million more to how many people are going to lose their health care. It's 7.8 million people that would be required to do these work requirements. And illegal immigrants at 7.8. Yesterday they were up. It was up to 20 million. Even though that's not true. It's like a game of telephone down there.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah.
Dana Perino
So I grew up in a culture where if you got on disability, it was like winning the lottery. And I'm not indicting the people I love. And that raised me. But there was this idea that it was some sort of like, man, oh, that's awesome, man. You get a check every month. That's awesome. And that's a culture that we have to, I mean, like, I think I can say with a little bit of credibility we have to reject the sentence was, I'm not going to cut Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare. The Senate should have been, I'm not going to cut Medicare to people who can prove they deserve it. Yeah, that's what this country needs. I mean, that's literally. You watch that whole montage. That's the only thing Democrats are pointing out about this bill. White supremacist, racist. Like those words mean nothing anymore. You ruined those words.
Joey Jones
People who actually need it are competing for those funds from people who are.
Dana Perino
Able bodied and siphoning it anecdotally super quick. I was put on Social Security disability while still active duty. They wouldn't let me off of Medicare. I begged to be off of it. They made me stay on it for seven years after I started working. That's the system we have.
Joey Jones
All right, just hold that thought, L.J. and Emily, because we have Fox News alert here. The judge has just denied bail for Sean Diddy Combs. Let's go live to CB Cotton outside the courthouse and cb, earlier today on Newsroom, when this was all happening. There was that light moment where the judge said, I bet you don't want to go back to the mcd. And he said, you know, put his hands together in prayer and shook his head no. But now, even despite that light moment, he's going to be denied bail.
Riley Gaines
Hey, Dana. That's right. And you mentioned that light moment in the courtroom earlier after the judge appeared to joke with Diddy about his fate in terms of whether he was going to go back to prison. A lot of us out here thought that the judge might side with defense attorneys and decide to grant their request for bail. Ultimately, we've just learned from the courtroom that the judge has denied Diddy's request for bail. Both sides submitted arguments to the judge before this bail hearing that got underway at 5pm local time. Prosecutors argued that Diddy should remain behind bars until his sentencing. And their arguments primarily recapped what we heard from them in trial. They told the judge that did he is a flight risk due to his wealth and resources. And they said there was also a risk with Diddy of witness tampering. They said he has a pattern of manipulation and control. And they cited the severity of the charges that Diddy faced at the start of this criminal investigation. We know defense attorneys had a much different take on whether or not Diddy should be given bail. They cited the fact that the jury found him not guilty on the most serious charges in this case, racketeering, consent conspiracy and sex trafficking. And they told the judge that Diddy has no criminal record. They also said he has strong ties to the US and they mentioned he has a three year old child who needs him, an eight year old mother who he is the primary caregiver for. It's clear now that those arguments fell short with the judge this afternoon who has decided not to grant Sean Diddy Combs bail. At this point, we're assuming he will spend, he will go back to the Metropolitan Detention center located here in Brooklyn. This comes this news comes at the objection of defense attorneys who submitted not one but two letters to the judge before this bail hearing asking the judge to grant their request. Now we have just learned the judge has sided with prosecutors who argued Diddy should remain behind bars until he is sentenced on the two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, which we know a jury returned a guilty verdict on those two counts earlier today. Dana, I want to send it back over to you.
Joey Jones
All right. CB Cotton, thank you so much. And as if there is any more, we will be sure to cover it. But in the meantime, let's Go back to the fact that the President's bill, the big beautiful bill on the Hill today. We haven't heard from you yet. L.J.
Lawrence Jones
Well, I'm looking at all these, I guess we call them stunts now from the Democrats. Never did I think that the Democratic Party would be the party of Lane. It used to be that the Republicans were right on the ideas. They were kind of corny. The Democrats have replaced us. So they're wrong and corny now. And I just look at them. Look, I have my problems with some portions of the bill. I want more spending cuts there, but I don't live in this fantasy island. I understand what we're dealing with, but this is a party that lacks creativity. Take Murkowski, can't stand the way that she votes, but she got something out of it. She went in and says, I want you to put a car back for me. Any Democrat could have went to the president and said, if you want my vote, put this in the bill and they could have ran on it. I got this from my state. But they don't want to work with them. They don't want any wins. They just want to be the party of resistance.
Joey Jones
So they could have got the dreamers in there.
Lawrence Jones
So when the next, exactly. So the next election when it comes all down, they're going to run on the same things, no wins, and they're going to get the same result.
Joey Jones
And the other thing is this bill is being passed at a point when you see egg prices coming down, gas prices coming down, and people feeling a little bit more confident in the economy. There are some tricky spots indeed. But once you have this bill and people have the confidence that their taxes aren't going to go up, maybe that fuels some economic growth.
Emily Compagno
Well, and this goes to show that why can't Democrats celebrate a win? Why can't they join together to celebrate and, and propel a vehicle that really would lift all boats. And I really hope that for all of them stunting for their reelection purposes and clearly just to their sort of echo chamber echo, echo chamber constituents that they remember what would have happened if this didn't pass, because I'm pretty sure it's going to pass. But what would happen 26 million small businesses with a major tax increase and small businesses like my families, we barely survived, Covid. We're still barely surviving. And thanks to this administration, though, the regulation release is like lifting a suffocating albatross around our shoulders that has been there since before since Biden and hearing Democrats with their on their TikTok and saying these sort of slogans. You know, Sandy Ocasio saying it's a betrayal of working families. Oh, like you rejecting 25,000 jobs in Queens wasn't. Or worthless Governor Gavin talking about the Americans that will lose health care. Well, why don't you back up to the 2 million illegal immigrants on health care in your state that everyone pays for, which is why they're fleeing. I mean, the list goes on. Chris Murphy I don't want to take economic advice from someone who thinks $30 an hour minimum wage is sustainable in the economy that we have. So I wish that there was thought behind it. You're right. I wish that they were actually human for a second because they show that everything that Trump eclipses any type of analysis that would actually help constituents, they have lost service. They are in full blown service to any type of social media glam. That is their ultimate goal. It's so transparent. So I'm actually looking forward to their elections because their constituents are going to remember this.
Joey Jones
And it was like they just learned how to do a selfie video. Everyone got the bat signal today was like, make a selfie video and be sure to shake with.
Greg Gutfeld
That's right. They are incredible dorks.
Joey Jones
Yeah.
Greg Gutfeld
I mean, I remember when Republicans were the dorks.
Lawrence Jones
Exactly. So corny. And now this. You know what, that goes back to Trump, though. He changed it all.
Joey Jones
How to be cool. Yeah, exactly.
Emily Compagno
All right ahead.
Joey Jones
President Trump is putting CNN on notice for pushing an app that tracks ICE agents.
Lawrence Jones
Dear Dr. Shimizu, thanks for listening.
Joey Jones
Do you like true crime podcasts?
Emily Compagno
If so, check out Unsolved with James.
Joey Jones

Riley Gaines
Or just say alexa, play the podcast Unsolved with James Patterson on Amazon Music.
Greg Gutfeld
President Trump making CNN clench even harder. Out the liberal network pushed an app called ICE Block that helps track the movements of agents in real time.
Riley Gaines
What they're doing is actively encouraging people to avoid law enforcement activities operations. And we're going to actually go after them and prosecute them with the partnership.
Greg Gutfeld
Of Pam if we can.
Riley Gaines
Because what they're doing we believe is.
Greg Gutfeld
Illegal and may be prosecuted also for.
Lawrence Jones
Having given false reports on the attack in Iran.
Greg Gutfeld
Emily, you claim to be a lawyer. Do they have a case here? It's like they are basically, you could argue they're putting ICE agents in danger or and they're obviously obstructing the law by tipping illegals off. What say you?
Emily Compagno
Yeah, I think, I think the biggest case here is for impeding federal law enforcement because everything that ICE agents are in the course of doing is their official acts. I think obstructing law enforcement, that's usually. Or obstructing justice is usually sort of more procedural. But go ahead and try. I mean, at the end of the day, I think it's important to send a message that behavior is not without accountability. And I'm not quite sure why all of the proponents for this, including cnn, who defended itself by saying, well, we were just merely reporting it, but it was pretty clear it wasn't just reporting it. They were huge advocates. Yes, yes, that. Why is it that for some reason they want people to have notice? And by people, I mean the illegal immigrant that set the subway rider on fire, the illegal immigrant that raped the dead person on the subway, the illegal immigrant that killed Lake and Riley, or Jocelyn Noongari, her rapists and murderers, or Bambi Larson, why do you want to give those people notice when those victims had no notice, Lincoln Riley didn't get notice that there was an illegal immigrant lurking in the trees that was going to murder her? And the list goes on. And so I am sickened by this notion that not only is the app creator and the proponents and CNN calling for an additional vulnerability for these ICE agents that are already getting doxxed and already getting attacked up 700%, but they're also trying to protect those monsters that absolutely destroyed lives generationally. So they can go ahead. But yes, the DOJ has a strong case and I know that AG Bondi will go for it.
Greg Gutfeld
So, lj, you were one of the early people on the story of this, this, the crumbling border. So why do you think that the. Is it because Trump owns the issue now? The American public are behind them. So this is the direction liberals and Democrats can only go.
Lawrence Jones
Yeah, I don't think think they know what to do with this issue. I mean, you got to remember this is a party. That entire campaign strategy was that Trump was going to be in jail. They didn't really have an operations plan. They still don't have an operation plan. But I posed the left this question, what government operation is okay to be shared with the public? Because we learned during Signal Gate that we got to protect all government operations and that they should remain classified. Do you realize that the Ice Age and Border Patrol have bounties on them from the cartel which are operating right here in the United States? And so you're putting the information of these individuals, by the way, majority minority. So you're not only demonizing them, saying that they hate their own people, but you're putting their lives at risk. The libs got to decide where they stand on this issue.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah. Joey, is this like in the military giving away, you know, a person in the media giving away coordinates.
Dana Perino
On the signal chat? No, no, listen, this is what, this is what happened. The Biden administration changed the narrative because the Biden administration years changed the issue completely. The Dems narrative for at least 30 years of my life has been, these are good people coming here to work, they do jobs we won't do and we need to embrace them. And you know, even Bush came into office looking at amnesty as a fix for this issue. If you remember all the way back then, the Republicans have said, ah, but we need to secure the border first. Which for a long time meant build the wall. And so it was always like, for me, as someone who wasn't involved in politics back then, it's like, why don't you let them build the wall? Like it's a win win. Either they build the wall and it works, then you get amnesty or they build the wall and it doesn't work and you get to say, I told you so. The closest they got was when Pelosi and Trump had a deal and she cut. She wouldn't let him have it because it was his campaign promise early in his first term. But since even then, the millions of people who have come across our border have not come across to work and earn money and assimilate to this country and live the American dream. That is factually true. The negatives of this issue have been exacerbated from the amount of people that came in under Biden. So we've gone from taking a surgical approach to a meat cleaver approach. And the American people understand that we are not without empathy. We're just not willing to let our empathy lie to us and tell us there aren't murderers and rapists and people taking advantage of everything that we're already struggling with, like wages and the price of things. I've said this on this channel ad nauseam. It's absolutely true. If you want a case study on the illegal immigration and how it affects even a small town, come to Dalton, Georgia and check it out. For everything we gained from cheap labor and yes, good people that came and became a part of our community, we lost in every single facet of public service being overran, overtaxed kids going to school with kids that don't speak English to the point that they're looking at building a Spanish speaking high school now. Like it's exacerbated every little problem, every little Crack is now a leak. It's sinking the boat. And so anyone who sits there and goes, but they're the ones that pick our apples and the ones that clean our house, well, you know, pick up a broom.
Greg Gutfeld
Last word, Dana. And it has to rhyme with orange.
Joey Jones
Oh, yeah, like my.
Greg Gutfeld
Well, that'll be it coming up.
Joey Jones
So I honestly don't know how it is an obstruction of justice. Yeah, right. So what I would have done at the White House is not. I would have called Tim Cook at Apple and said, why is this app allowed? Yeah, don't allow the app because I don't think it's necessarily wrong to report on something that's happening. I don't think I would have done it, but I think I would have gone straight to the tech companies who President Trump has been helping a lot, like the digital services tax and things like that. I also think that it was good to see ICE supporters flooding the app. Yeah, so it was like giving false information. So it was like clouding it all. But I would bet that we find out that this was some way funded by radical pro immigration groups in California that were probably given millions of taxpayer dollars along the way.
Greg Gutfeld
Excellent point, Dana.
Joey Jones
It didn't rhyme.
Dana Perino
But that's not rhyme in my accent. You could make a lot of things wrong.
Greg Gutfeld
That is true. Ahead, Trump's tidal wave of triumphs.
Dana Perino
For.
Greg Gutfeld
More than 40 years.
Lawrence Jones
Welcome back. Successful strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, cooling inflation, and some major Supreme Court victories. It's no wonder why Republicans are loving what they're seeing from President Trump's second term.
Greg Gutfeld
63% of Republicans strongly approve of the job that Donald Trump is doing about five months into his presidency. Republicans love Donald Trump the way that Americans love Disney World. He is more beloved by this Republican base than any Republican base loved any GOP president. Five months in. It is history making.
Lawrence Jones
And if you're tired of all the winning. Gas prices are the lowest they've been since 2021. And Waffle House has ditched their egg surcharge. That's one thing about the president, Greg, he gives his people tangibles.
Greg Gutfeld
Yeah, well, he promises, makes promises, then surprise, he fulfills them. He is the most consequential political phenomenon in my lifetime. And I, what, 38? He reinvented politics and here's how he did it. He didn't join the Republican Party so he could be more like them. He joined the party so the party would be more like him. And that's what made him a true leader and made him. It's a great Example of how to live your life. I mean, seriously, he's done. He did more in a week than Biden did in his 50 years. Because Biden was never interested in doing anything except having the job. But it's not just how good he is, it's how bad the Dems are by comparison. It amplifies the contrast. Look at, look at each party. Trump represents the Republican Party. He's a real estate tycoon, a billionaire, successful TV show host, what Tom Wolf would call a master of the universe. What is the Dems most charismatic leader right now? Their new Obama. A communist running for mayor in New York City. The most radical guy in the party who wants to control the means of production. That's insane. But we were told that the Democratic Party was gonna change, that they were gonna realize, no, we've got way off the deep end. We're not woke anymore. We're gonna come back to the middle. And that's what they do. It's incredible.
Lawrence Jones
Dana. I think sometimes the left believes their lies. And one of the lies they always tell is that he's an extremist in the sense of he's an ideologue, but he's not. That is their opening to get something done.
Joey Jones
So President Trump has been blessed with the worst opposition in American history, and they are just terrible. Think of all the money, the rallies that they have done, the ads they've spent, the humiliation of doing these selfie videos. And remember the tiny microphones, like all of this money, only to realize that every investment the Democrats have made has made President Trump stronger. And also contrast the tangibles. What did President Biden promise his people? He said something that was not constitutional. Even Nancy Pelosi said it wasn't constitutional. He said, I am going to forgive your student loans. And it never happened. He said, we're going to bring inflation down. That never happened. He said that we are going to accelerate the electric vehicle market. They put in three chargers for like a gazillion dollars. None of the tangibles that they promised came through. So their voters were already demoralized. They could see with their own eyes that he wasn't capable of being president for another four years. They had a lackluster, candid. They did the switcheroo with Kamala Harris, and now they're still stuck in the doldrums dealing with the Biden cognitive decline. Cover up.
Lawrence Jones
Joey, don't you think that the president, he reshaped the Republican Party. All the people that Joe Biden promised to serve, you know, moderate Joe, working class, Joe trained Joe. He took all those people while riding on First Class, his old jet and being flashy.
Dana Perino
Yeah. And apparently he can't be quiet in a quiet car. Oh, Joe. No, you're right. Trump threw a bigger tent than we've seen in a long time. You know, you look, you go back and you go through the last few cycles. So you have Bush Republicans coming in, and he comes in with this idea of amnesty. So it's reaching across the aisle a little bit. And then 911 happens, and we go through the years of the Bush presidency, which was not his agenda because he was dealing with the war on terror the whole time. Then you have Obama come in, and it's like, you know, he adhered himself to these radical ideas, so much so that even when he realized they didn't work, he couldn't just veer away from them. So when President Trump came in, the economy wasn't broken, the country wasn't broken. They were held back. It felt held back. So you just needed to release some things. You needed to get the government out of the way and let Americans do what they were fighting and ready to do. And that's what we saw for the majority of his presidency. And Covid happens. And to think that he's a man who's gone through Covid, who's gone through impeachments, who's gone through the court cases, who's gone through being arrested, who's gone through January 6th, and a lot of people did fall on the side of that, was repulsive to them. And to think that he can go through all of that, he got shot.
Joey Jones
An assassination attempt, I'm not there yet.
Dana Perino
Go through all of that and still decide to run again. He could have sailed off into the sunset and made another billion doll. And he chose to come back. And when he chose to come back, he was going to come back on his terms, doing what he wanted to accomplish. There's nothing for reelection for him. He hasn't appointed J.D. vance to heir apparent. He said that, you know, we'll see what happens next. I don't think he cares near as much about being a kingmaker as he does about getting some things done that he wanted to get done. I don't know where his weaknesses and vulnerabilities are for Democrats to attack. And they would be smart to take the Fetterman line of approach. But. But then if they were smart, maybe they wouldn't be.
Joey Jones
Exactly.
Lawrence Jones
You know, Emily, the Republican Party used to be the party of policy papers, and Trump is like Nike. Just do It. They asked him a question. Okay, how do you fix the trans thing in sports thing? Get him out of school. He goes, you just. You're president, you just do it.
Emily Compagno
Yes, right. And I think that's partly why people initially in the party were turned off by him. No, no, no. This is how we have to do it and lay it out. But the reality is he's getting it done. So no one should care how it happens because the courts have proven over and over again, the Supreme Court, that it's constitutional and it's correct, it's within his authority, and therefore we should champion it. You know, everyone before him, they were always working inside the box. This is what. This is my lane, and this is how we're gonna fix it. But he came in and just obliterated the box. And he was. Democrats tried to paint him as this golden spooned boy, but the reality is that he's the hardest worker of anyone we know. And when he was withstanding the relentless attacks and assassination attempts and everything at every single turn, he said, they're doing it to me and it's gonna be you who's next. Like, this was a person who sort of has this hybrid of giving no cares more than anyone I've ever heard of while also caring more than anyone we've ever heard of. And it's history in the making. And I'm so grateful that in this moment we can recognize that and remember the price.
Greg Gutfeld
Historians won't.
Emily Compagno
No, but we are. And the number one remember, always repeat this. The number one reason that people voted for him in the Iowa primaries, remember it was because he fights for people like me. And that's what he's doing.
Lawrence Jones
So true. All right, the fastest is up next.
Greg Gutfeld
Like people like historians, like.
Lawrence Jones
Progressive makes.
Joey Jones
It easy to get a.
Dana Perino
All right, welcome back. Listen, nobody's going to to the movies anymore. And said folks are catching the latest blockbuster from their custom home theaters. Funny we use the term blockbuster there, Greg.
Greg Gutfeld
I miss a good blockbuster. You know, walking around with strangers staring at a wall of blue. 16. 16 editions. A twister, but nothing by John Waters. It's disgusting. When you return to the movies, which I have, you're more aware of the distractions that are around you. It's weird. It's so much louder. Everything's louder. The production value and the messaging is terrible. But then I'm thinking when I' and I'm trying and I go, it's great to be home. I'm watching a movie. I never finish it because I'm married. You Cannot watch a movie with a woman. You can't.
Emily Compagno
I'm sorry.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes, you should be sorry. You cannot. It's like they're always stopping. They will pick up the phone if it rings, they will go like.
Emily Compagno
Oh.
Greg Gutfeld
They'll suddenly start a conversation in the.
Dana Perino
Middle of the movie.
Greg Gutfeld
It's always going to the bathroom.
Emily Compagno
We have questions. We want to know what happens next. Here's the thing.
Greg Gutfeld
Rewind it. Let's rewind it. Can we rewind it?
Joey Jones
No. Dana.
Emily Compagno
No. No.
Joey Jones
I would say I haven't been to a movie theater since, I think, 2003.
Greg Gutfeld
What?
Joey Jones
Yeah, but for me, you know what it is?
Emily Compagno
It's been.
Greg Gutfeld
It's 22 years.
Joey Jones
I know. I haven't been to a movie theater since 2003. Because I'm a woman. No, Because I can't stand the noises.
Greg Gutfeld
Yes.
Joey Jones
It's not that it's too loud. It's that everybody else with all of their noises and the bag and the thing and the talking on their speakerphone and eating with their mouth open. I can't. So I've never been back.
Dana Perino
What about you, Lawrence?
Lawrence Jones
It's the one thing. As in the introvert side of me. I love the movie theater. I try to go at least three times a month.
Emily Compagno
Emily, I just saw Mission Impossible because it was rainy. It was a normal movie theater. There's no sexual deviants and freaks and homeless like there are here. So it depends on the movie theater. But also, I like being out. And I like those where you can stretch out and have a drink.
Joey Jones
All right, so it matters.
Dana Perino
I'm a fan of the movie theater. All right, One More Thing is up next.
Joey Jones
Welcome to an illegal alien from Guatemala.
Emily Compagno
It's time now for One More Thing. Greg.
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, tonight we got a great show. We have Joe Mackey, KT McFarlane, Tyrus and Cat Tiff. Now it's time for this sexy polar bear news. All right, it's hot. Really hot in Prague. Roll it. Look at that, huh? That's Greg, that's Gregor, and he's got his partner there. Aloud, yes, in case you're wondering, they are homosexual bears. They're polar bears. It's 90 degrees at the zoo. Where's his boyfriend? There he is. And so they cool down by slipping and sliding on a ton of crushed ice.
Joey Jones
Wow. Oh, wow.
Greg Gutfeld
Put some crushed ice in your mouth and it's just beautiful. But they adapt to the arctic temperatures and their bodies overheat easily. And that's why it's important to stay cool all summer.
Dana Perino
Have you ever seen a polar bear after it kills. What is wrong with blood all over it?
Joey Jones
This is exciting. Ten years ago on the 5, we had an intern named Sydney Persing. And this last weekend, Sydney started her weekend anchor job at Fox 5 in Washington, D.C. she was also my, my assistant for like six weeks when Erin Landers left. And she's amazing. I'm happy for her. Congratulations and best of luck. Sydney.
Greg Gutfeld
She said terrible.
Emily Compagno
Amazing. She's going to be an amazing.
Greg Gutfeld
I don't remember her.
Emily Compagno
All right, guys. Well, you all right, now you are looking at the COVID A hook and barrel of Macana issue, All American fire brand. From horsepower to firepower, the feature dives into my 1972 Mach 1, my Glock 34 Copperhead, and so much more. Guys.
Joey Jones
Whoa. There's a lot of hunting.
Emily Compagno
Where George Washington himself used to write at his brother's historian.
Greg Gutfeld
Oh, my God. Emily.
Emily Compagno

Dana Perino
Send a copy to, like, every Marine? I think that would be the right way to serve your country. Real quick, I've got something called Jake the Rizzbot. It's a robot that's got some riz. That's what the kids call charisma. And I think they wanted me to bring this up because that's my. That's my burner.

Podcast Summary: The Five – "UPenn To Ban Trans Athletes From Women's Sports"
Introduction
In the July 2, 2025 episode of The Five hosted by FOX News Radio, the panel delves into the controversial decision by the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) to ban transgender women from participating in women's sports. This move aligns with a mandate from President Trump and includes the revocation of titles from trans swimmer Lia Thomas. The discussion explores the implications of this decision on women's sports, the response from affected athletes, and broader societal and political ramifications.
Background
The episode opens with Emily Compagno introducing a significant development in collegiate sports: UPenn's agreement to President Trump's mandate banning transgender women from female sports teams. Additionally, the Ivy League's decision to revoke Lia Thomas's titles marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing debate over transgender athletes' participation in women's sports.
Reactions from Affected Athletes
Former teammates Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlon express their relief and vindication regarding UPenn's decision:
Riley Gaines [01:43]: "I feel vindicated. I feel like pigs are flying. I feel like hell has frozen over. So it is a fantastic day, of course, for sanity, for common sense..."
Riley Gaines [02:04]: "Getting the records corrected."
These sentiments underscore the athletes' perspective that Lia Thomas's participation had previously displaced their opportunities in women's sports.
Panel Discussion
The hosts engage in a robust discussion, analyzing the decision's impact and its alignment with broader biological and moral considerations.
Gutfeld emphasizes the importance of adhering to biological definitions and criticizes what he perceives as a societal "mob" pushing a "twisted ideology." He highlights various entities and individuals he believes have contributed negatively to the situation, including media outlets, the Biden White House, and certain celebrities.
Legal and Institutional Implications
The conversation extends to the legal framework surrounding this decision:
Dana Perino [07:14]: References the NCAA's recent legal challenges and suggests that the Trump administration's actions may be leveraged to influence other universities similarly.
Lawrence Jones [08:52]: Advocates for criminal lawsuits against schools and authorities that enforced the participation of trans athletes against the wishes of female athletes.
Political Ramifications
The hosts also touch upon the political landscape, contrasting Republican support for President Trump's actions with Democratic opposition:
Lawrence Jones [18:08]: Critiques the Democratic Party's lack of effective response and predicts electoral repercussions due to their handling of the issue.
Joey Jones [05:04]: Highlights the financial and opportunity losses faced by female athletes due to Lia Thomas's participation, emphasizing the broader impact on women's sports.
Notable Quotes
Greg Gutfeld [04:21]: "It was a humiliation fetish. This is why the Dems lost. They cowered before a fetish that caused irreparable harm."
Dana Perino [08:28]: "I hope every single girl that was forced to share a locker room with a fully intact 6 foot 4 man sues the hell out of every school and every authority that made them do that when they were asking not to."
These quotes exemplify the panel's strong stance against the inclusion of transgender women in women's sports, framing it as a matter of fairness and safety for female athletes.
Conclusion
The episode of The Five presents a critical view of UPenn's decision to ban transgender women from women's sports, framing it as a victory for fairness, biology, and the protection of female athletes' opportunities. The hosts advocate for broader legal actions and institutional changes to prevent similar situations in other universities. The discussion also highlights the political tensions surrounding transgender rights in sports, reflecting ongoing national debates on the subject.
Additional Content
While the primary focus remains on the UPenn decision, the episode also briefly touches upon other news topics, including the bail hearing of Sean "Diddy" Combs and comments on political maneuvers related to President Trump's legislative agenda. However, these segments are secondary to the main discussion on transgender athletes in women's sports.
