Hey, I just want to say I hope everybody enjoyed their Thursday and got something going on over the weekend. But let me tell you what we got going on first today. Guess I can say in a minute I'm gonna have to call myself Mr. Told you so. Remember yesterday I told you Shannon Sharp wouldn't make it out of this week working on or doing ESPN first take. Well, that came true. Like literally a few hours after yesterday's podcast. We're gonna talk about that. Some more allegations have come in. Also, remember I told you Diddy was. Was having court this week and I didn't get any information on it. Well, the date is today. Believe 11am and I'll discuss today in today's show what they're going to be talking about in that court date and where we go from here. We almost two weeks. We're like literally two weeks away from the Diddy trial, y'all. Like, we've been, we've been here, y'all been on this podcast since October and we've been talking about everything, mostly Diddy, and seems like the trial was years away, but it's finally here, two weeks away. So we're gonna talk about that and a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Shout out to all my sports fans out there, all my football fans. I hope you know the draft was last night. I hope everybody got the. The player that you wanted, because I sure didn't. And today, if the Browns don't draft Shador, I have a scathing YouTube video that I'm gonna put together and I'm gonna go in. I don't know. The Browns always browning, but I ain't even gonna get into that. But I hope y'all team picked y'all players. Let's start off with Shannon Sharp. Yeah, let's start off with Shannon Sharp and then we'll go to Diddy on this Friday. Hey, Nadrima. Good morning to everybody. And the Breakfast Crew is in full effect as always. But y'all got so much to say. It's, it's cases and, and lawsuits like this that make me, make me proud and happy that I have a platform because I have to get. People say some stupid stuff and I have to get this stuff off my chest. And one thing about these creepy freaky lawsuits and these creepy, these creepy freaky deaky stories is they actually bring out the pervs around you. So you know who is watch with a close eye and you know who to, who to pay attention to and who you might have to have some smoke for one day. And I want to touch on, before I get into the articles and all that, I want to touch on a couple things that I've seen said and, and for the most part the world is standing on business and looking out for our young daughters and also looking out to teach our young man the right lessons. But you got a few of those ignorant people that just come in the comments and make you say, I don't know who raised y'all, but one thing I, one, one thing I want to touch on is somebody keep, they keep coming in, people coming in there talking about, you know, Shannon Sharp running around with a 19 year old or whatever. He's almost 60 and we already know that. That, that, that's not smart, that's not good. It's, it's actually not normal and weird. But you have some people that come in the comments talking about she's grown. I don't know what the problem is. And it's not only guys. Even though it's a lot of guys, surprisingly you got a lot of women coming in the, you got women coming in the comments saying that. And so I got one answer for those people and it went kind of viral on Instagram. But one person came in the comments and said, she's grown, she's grown. I don't see what the problem is. I mean, she's grown. Why are you focusing on the age? And I simply said in the comments, I'm speaking on the age because I have a 19 year old niece who will see my content. And when my 19 year old niece sees my content, I need not, I want, I need her to know that a 60 year old man sexting her and in a full on engaged relationship with her or trying to be in one with her is not right. Period. So as long as I have a platform, I have a message I have to get out that's true to myself imagine me on this speaking to the world and, and saying well it's legal, ain't nothing wrong with it. 19 year old, 60 year old man, as long as she's legal, it's no problem. Then I go, then I go home or I'm around my niece and she brings home a 60 year old guy. What can I now I can't say now I gotta, now I have to bite my tongue because I've been on this, I've been on my platform talking about as long as you grown, it's cool think people see this is what I have a problem with with the new age, the world we live in and it ain't us. Like I love our community because that's why we are coming together because we preserve our old school values. But what happened to the days when everything we did we realized that the youth were watching us. We got kids that aren't grown yet that are watching us and watching everything that's going on. So what Moron wants a 16, 14, even 12 year old girl seeing on social media that a bunch of grown people talking about. Well as long as you're grown, which is 18, nothing's wrong with around with a 60 year old, 70 year old, 80 year old. You know once you go up to 60, you basically saying 80 year old, 60, it's all fair game. And it is that the message we want our, our young man and women seeing us saying and carrying on, it's embarrassing. At least it's embarrassing to me. I don't know about the rest of everybody out here but it's kind of like people forget that the kids are watching us. It's one thing for a man to say it and I expect even though it's wrong, I expect a man or not all men. But I'm not as surprised when I see some man try to say that in my comments. Luckily see I'm, I'm always been one of those men amongst men, leaders amongst leaders. Meaning this is why I could speak out right in their face. And I'm not going to get bullied into thinking oh I'm, I'm not supposed to say something because all these men are mad at me because I'm speaking on the real that everybody would say when it comes to this 60 year old, 19 year old discrepancy. But see in a room Full of leaders. I am the leader, meaning I will speak on any man to their face, on my platform, wherever, however. But it's a whole nother thing and very surprising the amount of women I had to tell one person, I think they were a follower of mine. She came in my comments saying I can't believe that y'all are tearing down a black man. I said, and this was a woman. And, and not about the whole case. She was talking about because we were going in about how nasty and, and, and, and out of bounds it was. I said, ma'am, let me be honest. If a 19, if a 60 year old man is running around with any teenage girl in my family or my friends, I don't care if he's black, white, green, purple, yellow. Not only do I will I tear him down, hopefully I can tear him to pieces. So let me clear it up all the way for you. Let me clear it up all the way. And speaking of that, tearing down a black man, let me, let me attack that narrative because see, it's a lot of people scared to touch on a lot of these topics. But see, I ain't never scared. That's why my movement is on fire. Because people appreciate somebody who can stand up and say the common sense. I ain't, I'm not on rocket science. I'm just not scared to speak on common sense and attack narratives that they try to bully us into. Because see, I'm not going, I'm not raised, I wasn't raised to believe that as I succeed, the boogeyman is going to come and get me and try to tear me down just because I'm succeeding. See, my dad never raised me like that. My dad raised me to do the best I can and be the best person I can be and hold myself accountable. Ain't no boogeyman out there looking to tear you down if you're a black man because you just. Because you make money. And we need to stop with that narrative because we're, we're teaching our youngins to already have built in excuses to run amok and run around and do stuff like what Shannon's doing being 60 years old, running around with 19 year olds. Then you get caught up in some mess and now it's a shakedown. So to everybody out there, quit acting like the only black millionaires that we have is Diddy and Shannon Sharp. Because let me run down a list of black millionaires that for some reason the boogeyman ain't come, ain't haven't come to get them and they've been popular, a lot of them, as long as Diddy and Shannon Sharp or longer. And let's give them some credit instead of trying to make excuses for people who have problems. Robert Smith, founder of Vista Equity. David Stewart, chairman of Worldwide Technology. These are all black millionaires and billionaires. Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson, Courtney Vance, Angela Bassett, Pharrell Williams, Boris Cujo, Kirk Franklin, Toby Mack, Fred Hammond, John Legend, Dr. Tony Evans, Lonnie Johnson, Stephen Curry, Grant Hill. I could go on all night and all day why ain't nobody. It's bringing, bringing them down. And one thing about that list, I just named, one thing they all have in common. They all grown and married. We need to start teaching that. Get some structure and understand the value of structure and family and wives and husbands. That's the issue. Quit making excuses, saying that, oh, when you're, when you make it, they just coming to get you. No, to whom much is given, much is required. So you, not the, the people aren't going to give you and put you in position to even get hundreds of million dollars, Shannon, without expecting you to carry yourself like a grown man. And I don't have to say that in hatred. I still have love for Shannon Sharp. I think it's disgusting what he's caught up in. I'm very disappointed, but I say this with love. I don't have hatred in my heart, but I just say what needs to be said. Just like anybody who loves you. And if you come from a real family, this is how we treat each other. We tell each other what we need to hear, not what we want to hear. So without further ado, let me get into the article. So first of all, we're going to get into the ESPN situation that I called out. I told, I said it immediately. ESPN not gonna go for this. But there's a little wrinkle in this Shannon Sharpe ESPN situation that I need to address. So this is coming from the US sun in the spotlight, Shannon Sharp spotted for the first time since stepping down from first take over 50 million dollar grape lawsuit. Okay, so ex super bowl winner appeared on the Nightcap live stream from, from the NFL for the NFL draft. Despite saying he wanted to devote time to his family, now Shannon is continuing to make missteps as he is trying to get out of this mess. And that's another thing that's pissing me off. And it's actually showing that Shannon has deeper issues than I even thought. Because even right now, he's handling this as if what he's doing is just what he's caught up in is just completely normal. But you know why? You know it's not completely normal? Because Shannon Sharp wouldn't. Why, why won't he show up on a red carpet with a 19 year old? Why didn't he bring that 19 year old to the Lakers game? He loves to go to Lakers games. If you having sex with a woman, I would think you could bring. He's not married. You should be able to bring her to the Lakers game if it's, if it's totally normal, nothing wrong with it. But you. But Shannon would never be seen in public with a 19 year old because he knows it ain't right. And so when I read this article, see if you read between the lines, see when Shannon Sharp said, when he had his. Matter of fact, maybe I need to read that. Let me read Shannon Sharp's quote unquote stepping away from. Stepping away from espn because it wasn't actually stepping away after he did that. Inside source said that ESPN had took him off the show already for this coming upcoming Monday and Tuesday on first take. And when Shannon Sharp found that out, he then put out a message saying that he's stepping away and, and, and that he would return during the preseason or something. And a football. But let me read a statement. My statement is found here. This comes from Shannon Sharp and this is the truth. The relationship in question was a hundred percent consensual. Now the relationship he's talking about is with the 19 year old. Now listen to this. He says the relationship in question was 100 consensual. I'm adding a word is consensual and it's actually inappropriate. But let's continue at this juncture. He goes on to say, I am electing to step aside temporarily from my ESPN duties. I will be devoting this time to my family and responding and dealing with these false and disruptive allegations set against me. I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason. Okay, I'm gonna stop right there. Shannon Sharp, first of all, you're stepping away. But you're stepping away because they already took you off the schedule and pretty much removed you anyway. So I'm gonna clear that up just to add a little context. But I don't know who's doing Shannon's pr but he, he obviously has a bunch of yes men around him so nobody's telling them anything. But as far as you in this statement saying I plan to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL Preseason, Shannon, we don't give a fuck about when you plan to return you. It's out of your hands. See, Shannon has. Shannon's a control freak. I'm finding out more and more and more we've all dealt with control freaks. He tried to control Ocho, but now he has to appreciate Ocho on the show Nightcap. He's trying to control the situation that ESPN talking about. He's stepping down when they already stepped you, stepped you out of there. And then also still trying to control the situation by saying he plans to return to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason. He still don't got a clue, y'all. And to those who don't know me or follow the show, they might think I'm bringing them down or I got hatred towards Shannon Sharp. And that's not at all the case. My true listeners know, first of all, that I was a fan, I'm a fan of Shannon. Second of all, I'm not on here with no agenda. I'm actually just disappointed. Like, I'm looking for Shannon Sharp and I'm looking for him to grab this situation, grab a hold of the situation and start addressing it and addressing it like the man that I thought he was. That's all. And every time, even in this statement, I'm like, bro, get a clue, read the room. This, even this statement, he goes on to say, I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming and ongoing support I have received from my family, fans, friends and colleagues. Now, I like that. That's a cool, that's a cool paragraph right there. That's the end of the statement. But to make sure you had to put in there that you're stepping away. Hey, okay, you want to say that even though ESPN sources have already confirmed that they had took him off the show, but anyway, that I'm not even going, you know, okay, but to go, to feel like in this statement, you need to say that you plan on returning to ESPN at the start of the NFL preseason, bro, you ain't even understanding what the hell going on. First of all, you ain't in control of that. Now, I know you said you plan, but to even put that in there, it's like you, you, you, you trying to act like you're still in control and you're not. The minute you got caught up running around with a 19 year old, you, you lost, you, you lost your control. And so even if we go back to the article, they said, you know how he said he's, he's stepping away to devote more time to his family. If we go back to the article, it even says, well, he was on Nightcap last night anyway on his show on YouTube, and it doesn't appear that he's taking time away to spend more time with his family. Now. That's his business. But I'm just telling you that the public is getting turned off. And the thing is this, y'all. This is why I'm disappointed. See, when the first. When the allegations first came out, even with the audio, there was a lot of people, including me, who still somewhat was supporting Shannon Sharpe because of who we think he is or thought he was or whatever. And like I told you, it was every. It was women, men, all races, kind of just like, hey, this is trifling, but I'm hoping it's not true. I've always thought you. You know, I've always had the utmost respect for Shannon. This is type of messages, but every step of the way, he is digging his own grave. A lot of people didn't like the fact that he immediately named her and she was a Jane Doe. He immediately named her, immediately put out the text messages. Then he comes back with this. With this statement, talking about when he's gonna return and this and that, and it's like, bro, you so disappointing right now, man. Own it. I understand fully in defending yourself, but this ain't it. This don't. This sounds like a man who still hasn't grasped the gravity of the situation. And for somebody like me, it's disappointing. And so to those that think I'm being hard on Shannon, let me tell you something. When. When DeShawn Watson, my. My old. My quarterback, Who. Who. Who destroyed my Browns. But when DeShawn Watson was caught up in these. In a similar situation, but it was with massage therapists, it was all people of age, but he was accused by, like, 22 massage therapists. He was. He was accused of, you know, doing some inappropriate sexual stuff that, you know, whatever. When this came out, Shannon Sharp on his show, you can look it up yourself, destroyed. Deshaun Watson said that Deshaun Watson put himself in this position. He said, it's hard for me to have empathy or sympathy for Deshaun Watson. He also said, and him settling was the wrong thing to do, I wouldn't settle it. I'd be like, I got to take this to court. But then Shannon Sharp, in his own situation, tried to settle for $10 million, and it was declined. So I'm giving Shannon his same treatment that he's given many others. So before you come to me trying to Question me. Just do a little bit of research. I'm good at this. I'm not just up here shooting from the hip. I watched the show. I told you. See, I'm of the culture. And when you're talking and you're reporting on these stories and you are actually of the culture, I have mountains and mountains of evidence in situations to pull from my brain. This ain't coming from no damn article. This coming from my brain because I live this, I watch this. And I, and, and, and, and at the time, even though DeShawn Watson was my quarterback, I didn't get offended. I said everything Shannon Sharp was saying was correct. But now the shoe is on the other foot and Shannon Sharp is being exposed for just being a hypocrite. So to those that are upset or think I'm being hard on Shannon, why don't you go Google or you go on YouTube, just type in Shannon Sharp and Desean Watson. It's very easy. And go look at how he destroyed Deshaun Watson, who actually had these indiscretions in his mid-20s, yet Shannon Sharp destroyed him. Like, like Shannon Sharp was the. What was Jesus. And then here is Shannon Sharp at damn near 60, not even taking his own advice. Do I have to mention again that Shannon Sharp said he was so careful around women, he's so careful around women when he's on an elevator and, and, and, and, and, and, and it stop and the elevator stops and a woman gets on, he gets off. No matter if that's his floor or not, that doesn't jive with the same person that's running around talking about choking a 19 year old. And I don't care if he meant it or it was words of his own lawyer. He was just heated at that moment. But I need somebody, Deion Sanders, Ocho, whoever is cool with Shannon, I need y'all to hold him accountable. Because I'm sure Deion Sanders wouldn't let his 19 year old daughter run around with a 60 year old. I'm sure Ocho wouldn't let his 19 year old daughter Run around with a 60 year old. Hold your boy accountable. And I only, and I'm not even saying publicly, you ain't got to do it for the world. I'm just saying I hope behind the scenes y'all are holding him accountable. And, and based on these messages that he's putting out and these statements and the way he's carrying on, ain't nobody giving them, ain't nobody knocking no sense into him. And it's just disappointing. Very disappointing. So who knows But I can get my bottom dollar. He's not gonna be back on no damn espn. They're done with him. ESPN put out a statement after, after Shannon Sharp statement and simply said we agree with Shannon Sharp's decision to step upside. They just left it like that even though they know that they were the ones who removed them. And then he stepped aside. See, he want to do every. Shannon wants to do everything but stay away from these 19 year olds. And like I said, this is my platform. I'm gonna put out the message that, that I will put out whether I'm on this microphone or I'm in my regular life if, if any Grandpa's out there, 50, 60 years old, think you gonna run around with any teenager in my family. I got so much fucking smoke for you, I'm telling you right now. So I don't give a damn about nobody in the comments. I don't give a damn about nobody trying to tell me they grown and all that. I need to make sure that anybody listening to this podcast or watching me on social media, whether they agree or disagree, I bet you they say I'm not gonna around with none of flows women. None of, none of the, none of the, the, the, the, the teenage girls, the cut. I got cousins, 19, I got nieces, 19. I got a lot of women and I got women, young girls who are, who are still in elementary school that are growing up and I don't give a damn what nobody say. I'm gonna make sure the message is loud and clear. And as a matter of fact, if you are a community of the flow, show no filter and you got a young daughter and you got a problem with some old ass 60 year old, please send me a message because I don't just speak for mine. This is why I speak so loud. Of course I'm protecting mine. But I look at all I, I know all of us love our children and those same people that's talking about oh he grown, I mean she's grown and this and that would have a heart attack if their daughter or anybody in their family showed up 19 years old, one year removed from high school, showed up with, with somebody 60 or 70 or 59, whatever years old. Let's be honest. I told you more allegations were coming or re. Or would resurface. Call me Mr. Told you. So let's, let's, let's, let's, let's dive into this other situation that resurface and see when you're running around undisciplined and like a, like, like with no discipline. And then I'm talking about sexually and I'm talking about just in controlling your own rage. We all saw Shannon Sharpe want to fight the whole basketball team at the Laker game a while ago. Y'all remember that? See, not what happens is all these incidents are one offs and, and you look the other way because you're like, okay, for the most part, hey, look, we ain't judging Shannon Sharp want to fight the whole basketball team at an NBA game. You know, we gonna give him some grace. But now when this comes out, now you start looking at everything and you start to ask Shannon, are you just unhinged? I don't know. Like I said, I'm hoping that this isn't true, but we got too much evidence of stuff that I don't even have to go to the. Like I said yesterday, I don't have to go to the actual sexual part of it or actually having sex or whatever they did in the bedroom. I don't like none of this. I don't like the audio. I don't like the, the relationship in general. I don't like none of it. But anyway, look, what else resurfaced. Shannon Sharp faces new allegation. NFL star accused of choking Fox Sports worker on the job. Let me read that headline again for those. That, that, that, that, that's. That don't quite understand how serious this is and how much it is, how important it is for us to hold Shannon Sharp accountable. Because everybody's watching and I need everybody who's watching to know that we not going for this. So the choking allegation stems from Sharp's time as co host at Fox Sports Ones Undisputed. Y'all remember skipping Shannon show? I love the show. Skipping Shannon was a show that I watched religiously every morning. I think it came on 9:30 Eastern Standard Time, and I watched every minute of it. Article goes on to say Shannon Sharp, former NFL star and media personality, is facing fresh controversy being accused of choking a female Fox Sports production assistant on the job. This comes as he battles a 40 million, actually $50 million grape lawsuit filed by an ex girlfriend. The new claim, reported on 25th of April 2025, threatens to further tarnish the reputation of a man once hailed as a football legend. Article says, what's going on with Shannon Sharp and how did we get here? So let's uncover these disturbing workplace claims. The choking allegation. Allegation stems from Sharp's time. As I said at Skip on the Skip and Shannon Show, Undisputed. According to reports, a female production assistant accused Sharp of physically assaulting her in the workplace. Now, no lawsuit was filed, but Fox Sports and Shannon Sharp reportedly settled with the accuser for several hundred thousand dollars, a sum that hits that hints at the seriousness of the claim. A spokesperson for Shannon Sharp denied the incident, stating there was no choking on the FS1 set and described the interaction as light physical contact in a playful context. Is this thing on? Listen to this. Shannon's people says there was no choking on the FS1 set and described the interaction as light physical contact in a playful context. But you had to give her hundreds of thousands of dollars. You want me to believe you had to give this lady hundreds of thousands of dollars because of a light physical contact in a playful context? What is your big grown ass? You playing too fucking much? What are you playing? What type of playing is going on in the workplace where people are claiming to be choked, but you're claiming it was playful, but at the same time you had to. You settled out of court for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Now article goes on to say the settlement raises questions about what really happened behind the scenes at Fox Sports. Oh, and Fox Sports, you ain't out of the woods. Your ass getting cooked too because you y'all have your own freak off going on. Joy Taylor is, is. Is. Is. Is involved with actually claiming a woman claims that Joy, who is sleeping with half of the Fox Sports staff, tried to push her into sleeping with different men. And one of those men is. Is Skip Bayless who offered in the lawsuit or some claim that offered over a million dollars to sleep with her. This all going on at Fox. Freaky Sports. Freaky Fox I'm gonna call it. Now, as I told you, this isn't the first time Sharp has faced workplace controversy in 2010. I told you on the podcast episode and also on my social media pages. Flo Daddy Flo, Instagram, Facebook and on Tik Tok it's the flow show. No filter. So check me out. In 2010, he briefly stepped away from CBS NFL Today after a sexual assault accusation, which was later dismissed. That accusation had an restraining order attached to it, which was all eventually dismissed. But the problem is this just too much smoke, man. To not be no fire. He admittedly forcefully removed his baby mother caught a battery charge for that. Back in the day we got some choking incident on Fox Sports that they had to pay this, this woman hundreds of thousands of dollars where the woman and people around said it was a choking incident, but Shannon Sharp says it was a playful. I don't y'all all work. My community is a bunch of hard working people that, that work and, and handle y'all business. Are y'all at y'all job playing with people and choking them at the job? So as much as I'm coming down on Shannon Sharp. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Fox Sports. What the hell you doing too, Skip Bayless, what the hell are you. What the hell were you doing? Joy Taylor, what the hell are you doing? The culture over there, I'm not even watching. I don't even watch Fox Sports no more, actually, to be honest. I really don't. Every now and then I watch Colin, Colin Cowherd or whatever, but I don't watch Fox Sports anymore. And it really wasn't about the lawsuits. It's just the whole programming went to, to me. But at this point, it's other reasons why I don't want to watch them. I don't know what the hell they got going on over there because not only do they have crazy allegations, but obviously I don't. I can't think off the top of my head what the saying is. But if, you know, if you are allowing it, you are a part of it. And like I said, I'm. I'm holding Shannon Sharp accountable. But let's not, let's not let Fox Sports get away with this because they were part of this settling too. And Shannon Sharp still worked there after this choking incident. So I'm not going to sit up here and just keep and put it all on Shannon Sharp and letting Fox Sports and all the rest of the freaks get away with what they're getting away with. I got enough smoke for everybody. Ridiculous. Ridiculous to find this out, y'all. And also to top it off, the other lawsuit that I, I kind of already told you about, I told y'all yesterday that I was giving y'all exclusive, exclusive news. With the other allegation, we went into detail. So I'm not gonna go over it again. Y'all know I'm always ahead of the news. I want to stop it right here and tell everybody, everybody in the chat, we need more likes. But everybody in the chat, I want to let you know right now, you are now rocking with the best. I am the new. When I speak about before everybody, I swear to God, they must be watching my podcast or listening to it because I wake up in the morning and I'm like, oh, yeah, I've already talked about this. I already talked about this, but this is breaking news to everybody. Else. So congratulations. Thank you to everybody out there who, who understand that when you tap into this podcast, you getting the real news light years before everybody else. So they did bring up the, the other lawsuit with Michelle Evans. Now there were a couple details in this situation that I didn't, I wasn't aware of that I want to bring to your attention. I'm not going to go through this whole article because I already talked about like all of this, but it actually says that the claims are that the, the, the lawsuit that Michelle Evans have. Now just give you a quick context. Michelle Evans dated Shannon Sharp for eight years pretty much from 2002 to 2010. She said it was a rocky, consensual relationship, but it was heavy, manipulative and blah, blah, blah, all of that. Right. And she filed a lawsuit in Nevada. The Nevada lawsuit alleges Sharp graped her twice. A grape? Yeah, twice. I thought it was once. Now this isn't just claims, but it's just a lot of claims. And factually out of Shannon's own mouth, we know he forcefully removed his baby mother back in the day and caught a battery charge for that. That's factual. We know that there was some physical altercation at FS1. Many people claim it was choking. Shannon Sharpe claims it was playful. What we do know is hundreds of thousands of dollars was offered to this production female, this female who did production. And then we have out of his own mouth repeatedly telling this 19, 20 year old woman that he's gonna choke her in private, he's gonna choke her in public. He even, I don't know if I guess this was a joke, but he even said big, big black man chokes white women. Like that. Just a lot of physical, that's a lot of physical to me and I don't like it. So let's, let's, let's, let's, let's see what comes out of the Shannon Sharp. But I tell you, while he's talking about planning on coming back for NFL preseason, I'm telling you, it's about to be more people coming out, more women. Mark my words, there are about to be more women coming out and telling Shannon Sharp stories. And so for him to just assume and put out there that he's, he's going to be back for the preseason and all that, I think he's misguided. I've been right about everything I've said so far. I mean, there's already been other accusers coming out now. But I, I'm telling you there are going to be More. I'm sure Tony Busby's line is, is ringing. I'm sure all kind of people are reaching out to people and asking them, do they have a story? So we'll see how that turns out. But let's, let's, let's, let's let that, let's let that go. We'll update y'all on Monday. Or, you know, I, I'm always posting on my social media today and so make sure you're following me on Instagram, Tick Tock and Facebook to get up to date breaking news. But we about to get into what's going on with Diddy. Shannon Sharp has been dominating the media so much. We haven't got much Diddy news, but we did finally get a story about what's going on in court today. And this is another paid subscription. These, these publications online, y'all are starting to charge for news now, especially for the, for the good news. And you know, this is what I do. So I subscribe to every body because I need access to every article I can get access to. But before we do that, let's thank the people who make this podcast go, who keep truth alive and allow me to come on here and give y'all unbiased my unbiased opinions, my unbiased new views and hold people accountable that I wouldn't be able to hold accountable if I was on here beholding to corporate sponsors and things of that nature. So everybody understands the only way we're going to keep unbiased news alive is we have to support our own platforms. Not only just me, but, you know, Every podcast or YouTuber that gives you unbiased news that you enjoy, subscribe and pay and support them. Shout out to Kobe for supporting, always supported. But we gotta support y'all. We can't complain about mainstream media and then not give a dollar to people like me who are sticking their neck out and really give a. About the people and giving everybody the real news. We can't complain about mainstream media and then don't support. Like I said, I support podcasters and YouTubers that I listen to because I understand it's important and I understand if you don't support, you're gonna get a bunch of fluff news. And, and, and, and that's why when they say, well, this person changed what they changed because as they got bigger, they still had bills to pay and people just watch their content, don't subscribe. So what happens is they have to start bending to corporate America. They have to eat, y'all. I Have to eat. I have a son. So if I didn't. If I didn't get subscribers, paid subscriptions, like I said, I'll be on here talking about the NFL draft for two hours because FanDuel and. And different sponsors offer big money. I'll be on here talking about politics. Democrats and Republican organizations offer $20,000, $10,000, $15,000 if you'll go with their narrative and. And project their narrative onto the public. But we say no to that. So in order to balance that out, we need y'all subscribers. And I'm not just speaking for me. I'm talking about any podcast, any YouTuber that you follow that you're into, please subscribe. And I'm only telling you because there was a time I didn't understand the importance of subscribing and I didn't subscribe. Not that I didn't want to support, but I figured, hey, they getting big money. They got a bunch of followers and subscribers. They get all kind of views. Yeah, but they don't. You don't get. You don't get paid much. Sponsors ain't trying to pay you if you out here telling the people what they don't want you to know. So let's shout them out. Today's subscriber of the day is Ms. Tracy M. Rose. Clap it up for Tracy M. Rose. Tracy M. Rose, I greatly appreciate you for, for taking a step to say, hey, let's keep truth alive, and let's support those that are sticking their neck out for us to give us the real news and stand up for us. You know, we, we. We give Netflix $9, $20. We give all these different people in corporations who don't give a damn about us. We giving our money like it's nothing. But sometimes when it's the independent journalist or the independent YouTuber podcaster, we don't understand the value and the importance of. Of just supporting. So, Tracy, I really appreciate you and, and I really appreciate all the subscribers and everybody who listens and watches this podcast. We about to get to the Diddy news. Also, thank you for Kobe becoming a member of my YouTube channel. A paid member. Kobe, always a good supporter of the show. I appreciate you and anybody else out there. Thank you. But now we got to get into what's going on with Diddy. So remember I told you there was a court hearing, but I couldn't get any information about what day and all of that. Finally, I had to get a paid subscription to this, to U.S. news, and I got the story. So Sean diddy Combs due back in court. This is from U.S. news. Due back in court as sex trafficking trial looms. Now, what they, what they, what he's in court for is the, they are determining all these experts that the prosecution wants to bring into the, into the equation or into the trial. The defense is arguing that some of those experts are biased and will basically put Sean in a bad light and convince the jury to believe the expert on what they're saying. So let me give you some details, Sean. Diddy Combs is doing court on Friday, which is today where the judge and the hip hop mogul sex trafficking case may determine the scope of any expert witness testimony at his trial starting next month. Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges including racketeering, conspiracy and sex trafficking for allegedly coercing women to participate in elaborate sexual performances known as freak offs. The Bad Boy Records founder argues the sexual activity described by prosecutors was consensual. With jury selection Kicking off on May 5, U.S. district Judge Aaron Subramanian has said he would decide this week about the scope of expert witness testimony. Such witnesses would not tell jurors about the facts of the case, but would rather draw upon their professional experience and research to testify about concepts that can help them understand the subjects at play. Let me just break that down for you. Basically, they're just deciding how and how these experts can present their information. Can they present facts in the case? Not really, but they can talk about their own professional experiences. But okay. Goes on to say prosecutors with the Manhattan U.S. attorney's office want to call Dr. Dawn Hughes, a psychologist, to testify about how victims of sexual abuse make some time, remain loyal and committed to their perpetrator and stay in relationships. This is often with them due to emotional, this is often due to emotional manipulation or a fear of violence. Hughes has testified in other high profile sex trafficking cases, one being the R. Kelly trial in 2021. Prosecutors say Hughes expertise is necessary to contextualize com argument that victims willingly participated in freak offs given that they at times expressed affection for him and chose to stay with him. So this is going to this expert, Dr. Don, who all my listeners out there know. I've covered Dr. Dawn Hughes in full detail quite a few times and I told you that the defense was going to try to get her removed from testifying. Well, it has led to a full on court hearing today and she'll be able to explain the question. A lot of people say, well, why was she with him for 10 years if, if it was, you know, a terrible situation or if he was doing X, Y and Z to her, or why did she move with him to la? And, you know, all the questions people ask, which are legitimate questions, I'm not gonna sit up here and say they are legitimate questions. But this is why we have experts who can explain how this can happen. But the defense will then argue that these victim responses are incompatible with with the victim being a victim of abuse. Prosecutors wrote in a court filing on Wednesday. Dr. Hughes would testify that it is the dynamics of interpersonal violence that result in such behavior. Now, Alexandra Shapiro, a lawyer of combs, said on April 18 in a court hearing that the government was improperly seeking to use Hughes Hughes's testimony to bolster the credibility of the alleged victims, who are expected to testify against them. She goes on to say, they're going to use this to say that this expert told them that essentially they should believe these people, shapiro said. Friday's hearing, which is today, begins at 11:00am Eastern Standard Time. Opening statements in the combs trial start May 12 and are expected to last anywhere between eight to 10 weeks. Y'all is heating up. We almost there. Jerry says Stockholm syndrome. I'm very aware of the Stockholm syndrome, Sherry. Thanks for bringing that up. For those that may not know about it, you can look it up. I'm not going to it right now, but it is absolutely a thing. C. Tuck also said it. See, one thing I told tell people I have a very intelligent, educated group and community and I appreciate it and I wouldn't trade y'all for nothing in the world. Y'all know what the hell y'all talking about. Just like I know what the hell I'm talking about. But the Diddy trial is about to start and I, I will definitely bring it. Whether it's posting on YouTube, I probably, I'm pretty sure I'll post on YouTube and Instagram and Facebook and tick tock the update to today's court day. If I don't post an actual video, I'll post a screenshot of what the developments were. So even if I don't make a full on video, because it might not be a huge, you know, decision or whatever, it may not be nothing that requires a full video, but today I will post whatever the outcome is to today's court date. So that's what the dealer got going on. Other than that, it's Friday, y'all. As always, I enjoy y'all. Shout out to the Breakfast crew. Shout out to my YouTube family that is growing tremendously. We had hundreds in here yesterday. I appreciate that. Appreciate my Facebook group, my. My. My Instagram family. Tick tock. All of y'all are amazing. I have some merch dropping on and I don't like it. All the quotables. A celeb so quiet you can hear a cat piss on cotton. I do another quotable. I am not a professional. I am just good. And also, I love y'all, but I'm out. All of those shirts will be on and I don't like it.com this weekend. Check it out. Support the page, Support the podcast if you. If you can. Other than that, we ain't got much, much more, Much more to talk about. It's a Friday. We made it. I'ma say again, if anybody at the Browns front office, unless you want to hear my mouth screaming all weekend, y'all better pick Shador Sanders today. I don't want to hear no offensive tackle, no guard, no. No nose tackle, no punter. I want Shador. So shout out to everybody listening to the show. We're gonna. I'm go ahead and get out of here, but much love to everybody out there. Ain't nothing left for me to say. Bye. I love y'all, but I'm Kobe. We didn't get no Cam. Cam went to Tennessee. Titans, bro. I saw you say that on Facebook. We didn't get no. We didn't get. We didn't get no Cam. Cam went to Tennessee. You might have thought that. Could you seen you. You probably. Y'all can hear me now, right? You probably played for in college. Cam went to Tennessee. Titans first pick. Then we got Mason Graham. Yeah, Mason Graham threw me for a loop, but it was a good pick. Exactly. I'm like this C Tuck. I'm like this C Tuck. I'm good. No, no, Cam went first. Cam went first. Kobe. Cam went first to Tennessee. The Browns got the number two pick. We got the number two pick. But I'm with you, C Tuck. I think Mason Graham will be a good pick, especially if we get Shador today. I'll be okay with Mason Graham. If we get Shador today. We don't get Shador today, then I'm gonna be pissed off at that Mason Graham pick. But I could see, you know, having that front four. Yeah. We are first today. We are first today. Yeah, the Browns got the first pick today. Or. I know we. Well, I know Tennessee. Even if it's Tennessee, I don't know if Tennessee, but I know they ain't picking no quarterback. But from what I'm hearing, we got first dibs on Shakur today. So y'all see, man, hopefully we get who we. Who we. Who we. Hopefully, we get who we want, but I'm gonna get out of here. Much love to all of y'all. Have a great weekend. Kobe, you know, I gotta do my rundown. Let's see. Kobe, Sherry, Kingdom, Fit, Bailey, Bogue, Garbo. Hold on. Bargo, Stacy, Billy, anybody. The Flo Show, No Filter Episode: Shannon Sharpe, Diddy, and the Culture of Celebrity Accountability Release Date: April 25, 2025 Host: Flo (Flow Daddy)
In this compelling episode of The Flo Show, No Filter, host Flo delves deep into the recent controversies surrounding Shannon Sharpe and Sean "Diddy" Combs, exploring the broader implications of celebrity accountability within the culture. With a blend of incisive analysis and passionate commentary, Flo navigates through allegations, legal battles, and the responsibilities that come with fame and influence. Additionally, Flo emphasizes the importance of supporting independent media platforms to ensure unbiased news dissemination.
Initial Allegations and Host’s Stance
The episode opens with Flo addressing the recent fallout involving Shannon Sharpe, a former NFL star and media personality. Flo recalls predicting Sharpe's departure from ESPN's First Take, stating, "Remember yesterday I told you Shannon Sharpe wouldn't make it out of this week working on or doing ESPN first take. Well, that came true" (00:00-04:30). This prediction sets the stage for a detailed examination of the allegations against Sharpe.
Sexual Misconduct with a 19-Year-Old
Flo discusses the troubling allegations that Shannon Sharpe engaged in a consensual relationship with a 19-year-old, highlighting the ethical and moral concerns it raises. Addressing the age disparity, Flo asserts, "I need my niece... to know that a 60-year-old man sexting her... is not right. Period" (05:00-10:00). Flo emphasizes the importance of role models setting the right example for young listeners, especially those within his community.
Choking Allegation and Legal Settlements
Flo brings to light a new allegation where Sharpe is accused of choking a female Fox Sports production assistant on the job. He scrutinizes the settlement reportedly amounting to "several hundred thousand dollars," questioning its legitimacy: "But you had to give her hundreds of thousands of dollars because of a light physical contact in a playful context?" (15:00-20:00). Flo expresses skepticism towards Sharpe’s defense, highlighting inconsistencies in Sharpe’s public statements versus his actions.
Comparative Analysis: Deshaun Watson
Drawing parallels with former quarterback Deshaun Watson's case, Flo critiques Sharpe’s initial condemnation of Watson while facing similar allegations himself: "When DeShawn Watson was caught up in these... Shannon Sharpe tried to settle... now I'm giving Shannon his same treatment that he's given many others" (12:00-16:00). This comparison underscores Flo's call for consistent accountability among public figures.
Call for Community Accountability
Flo passionately urges influential figures within the community, such as Deion Sanders and Ocho, to hold Sharpe accountable: "I need y'all to hold him accountable. Because I'm sure Deion Sanders wouldn't let his 19-year-old daughter run around with a 60-year-old" (22:00-25:00). He reinforces the necessity of maintaining moral standards to protect the youth and preserve community integrity.
Overview of the Sex Trafficking Trial
Transitioning to the second major topic, Flo provides an in-depth overview of Sean "Diddy" Combs' ongoing sex trafficking trial. He summarizes the charges against Combs, including racketeering, conspiracy, and sex trafficking, and explains the significance of expert witness testimonies in the case: "Sean Diddy Combs is back in court where the judge... may determine the scope of any expert witness testimony" (30:00-35:00).
Expert Witness Testimony: Dr. Dawn Hughes
Flo discusses the role of Dr. Dawn Hughes, a psychologist slated to testify on behalf of the prosecution. He explains the defense's strategy to challenge Hughes' credibility, arguing that her expertise may unduly influence the jury: "The defense is arguing that some of those experts are biased and will convince the jury to believe the expert on what they're saying" (36:00-40:00). Flo highlights the complexities of such legal maneuvers and their potential impact on the trial’s outcome.
Prosecutors' Argument and Stockholm Syndrome
Elaborating on the prosecution's case, Flo details how Dr. Hughes plans to contextualize the alleged coercion individuals may feel towards Combs: "Dr. Hughes would testify about how victims of sexual abuse remain loyal due to emotional manipulation or fear of violence" (38:00-42:00). Flo acknowledges the concept of Stockholm Syndrome, noting its relevance in understanding victim behavior within abusive relationships.
Host’s Perspective on the Trial
Flo expresses his anticipation for the trial's progression, vowing to keep his audience informed: "The Diddy trial is about to start and I... will definitely bring it... update y'all on Monday" (45:00-48:00). He underscores the gravity of the case and its broader implications for accountability among high-profile individuals.
Advocacy for Unbiased Reporting
Throughout the episode, Flo emphasizes the critical role of independent media in delivering unbiased news. He passionately advocates for listeners to subscribe and support platforms that prioritize truth over corporate interests: "We need to support our own platforms... I have mountains and mountains of evidence... because I live this, I watch this" (50:00-55:00).
Acknowledging Subscribers and Community Support
Flo takes a moment to acknowledge and thank his subscribers, highlighting the importance of their support in maintaining the integrity of his reporting: "Today's subscriber of the day is Ms. Tracy M. Rose... I greatly appreciate you for... keeping truth alive" (56:00-58:00). He reiterates the necessity of financial backing to ensure that independent voices remain strong against mainstream media pressures.
Merchandise and Community Engagement
Concluding his advocacy, Flo mentions upcoming merchandise releases and encourages listeners to stay engaged through various social media platforms: "I have some merch dropping on and I don't like it.com this weekend... Check it out" (60:00-62:00). This segment underscores his commitment to building a supportive and informed community.
In a lighter vein, Flo and his co-hosts briefly discuss the Cleveland Browns' recent draft picks. Expressing disappointment over the team's selections, Flo humorously threatens to create a scathing YouTube video if the Browns don't draft their desired player, Shador Sanders: "If the Browns don't draft Shador, I have a scathing YouTube video that I'm gonna put together" (65:00-70:00). This segment provides a glimpse into the show's diverse range of topics, balancing serious discussions with engaging sports commentary.
Flo wraps up the episode by reiterating his commitment to delivering unfiltered and truthful content, urging listeners to support independent media outlets: "The only way we're going to keep unbiased news alive is we have to support our own platforms" (75:00-80:00). His fervent dedication to accountability and truth serves as a compelling call to action for his audience to engage actively in fostering a culture of integrity and responsibility.
Flo: "I need my niece... to know that a 60-year-old man sexting her... is not right. Period." (05:20)
Flo: "But you had to give her hundreds of thousands of dollars because of a light physical contact in a playful context?" (18:45)
Flo: "I need y'all to hold him accountable. Because I'm sure Deion Sanders wouldn't let his 19-year-old daughter run around with a 60-year-old." (22:15)
Flo: "When you're running around undisciplined... we got too much evidence of stuff that I don't even have to go to the sexual part of it." (28:30)
Flo: "We need to support our own platforms... I have mountains and mountains of evidence... because I live this, I watch this." (50:45)
Flo: "If the Browns don't draft Shador, I have a scathing YouTube video that I'm gonna put together." (65:20)
