Wake up. Wake up. It's the Flow Show. No filter. Back with another episode. This is a tragic one, y'. All. But before I get into it, let me cover my ass. No Diddy. The thoughts, views, and opinions shared on the Flow show, no filter. For educational and entertainment purposes only. I am not a professional. I am just good. Happy taco Tuesday, everybody. Who we got in the building? Good morning, Lily. Good morning, Lindsay. Good morning, C. Tuck, everybody. Good morning, Wake and bake crew. The Flow show fam. Good morning, Steph. See, we got it. We got it. We got. We got our people. Usual suspects in the building. Yeah, it's a sad one today. I'm. I'm. I've been. I know y'. All, Everybody's heard the news about the mysterious pass, and I guess it's not mysterious. It's just. It's just unbelievable, you know, that water is something else, y'. All. And y' all know I spent a lot of time at the beach. And one thing about it, when I go to the Beach. I try not to go too far out, man. Man, I'm a good swimmer. I'm not a great swimmer, but I'm a very, very, very good swimmer. And even if you're a great swimmer, water is powerful. And I've heard too many stories and so many stories of people getting swept out and never seen again. As a matter of fact, the young lady, I can't remember her name offhand, that went on a, a college trip and she met a gentleman and they went out to the beach. And authorities say the water swept her out. But a lot of people thought it had something to do with the guy forgot the young lady's name. The most recent missing missing person. Kanik. No, no, not, not Naika or something like that. I'm sorry I don't have the name with me, but who knows what happened? But the, the, the story is we lost Theo, y'. All. And thank you, Ebony Alexander, for becoming a new YouTube member. You just made my day. I'm trying to get more YouTube members, so if y' all want to join Ebony Alexander, please get you a YouTube membership. I would greatly appreciate it. And welcome to the family, Ebony. But we gonna get into how many, how many, how many people, how many people like me grew up on the cosby show? Put a 1 in the chat if you, if, if you watched the Cosby show back in the day, me and my family, this, at the time my parents were together. That's how long ago the Cosby show was out. My parents were actually together and my sister was born. My brother wasn't born yet, I don't think. But if he was, he was a baby. But every Thursday at 8:00pM I don't care what was going on. I don't care if I was in trouble. I don't care if my parents were mad at each other. Hey, Juice. Every Thursday at 8pm we would get together and we would watch the Cosby Show. And it was like one of my favorite family things to do. It was just the unity behind was like the super bowl every Thursday. We did not miss it. And to Theo and Denise and Bud and Rudy and y' all seen some of my, some of my show, some of my little singing karaoke videos. I've used some of the songs that they did on the Cosby Show. Some of those old school songs. So yesterday when I got the news that Malcolm Jamal Warner, AKA Theo, passed in an accidental drowning, it messed me up. I said, not Theo. Theo was like the big brother that I never had. I see we got a lot of Cosbyers in there yet. Theo. Theo was like the big brother I never had. And, and, and, and, and the Huxtables was like an extension of my family because my family for the most part in general, it was a pretty successful family by, by, you know, relative to other families. We were really close. We got together, we sang, we danced, we laughed. We, we, we, we. We were put on punishment like, like Theo and Rudy. So it. When you see somebody like that who, who, who really impacted your life pass, especially from some drowning in, in water, it just, it just really makes you realize, y', all, we have to, we gotta. That water is something else, man. It is a big, massive, powerful body of liquid that is stronger than any of us could ever possibly be. I don't care if you Mike Phelps, the right rip current will take your ass the out. And that's what happened. We're gonna get into an article about it, but I don't know if y' all have some favorite episodes, but I talked about it on my social media. If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook or Tick Tock, you get all the breaking News and my little 3, 34 minute breakdown. But the one episode I talked about is that I don't know if y' all remember the Gordon Gartrell shirt. Classic, Classic Cosby episode. Theo was trying to impress a young lady by the name of Tanya at his school and, and, and he wanted to impress her by wearing and wearing a shirt that was some made up designer that they made up on the show called a Gordon gartrell. Now in 1980s, the Gordon Gartrell cost $95. And you know, cheap ass, he. Even though his parents, Claire and Heath. Heathcliff or Cliff, I mean Heathcliff, Cliff Huxtable. Even though they were doctors and lawyers, y' all know they were very cheap and they didn't believe in spending a lot of money on, on especially materialistic things. So 95 in the 80s was like, I don't know what y' all would think. That's about $500. 5, 6, $700. Now. I don't know. I know, I know. 95 was a lot of freaking money in the 80s. So of course Cliff and Claire was not about to spend no hundred dollars on no shirt for Theo. And Theo wasn't even a good student. If y' all remember Theo. Theo was probably like a c. A C student at best. But anyway, Denise, Theo's sister, thought of a, A, A, A good idea. She said I could make a Gordon Gartrell shirt so Theo shoulder what. What they look like and what he wanted. Long story short, the shirt came out with one sleeve was long, the other sleep. One sleeve was too long for Theo's arm, the other sleeve was too short for his arm. The collars were asymmetrical, one hanging down to his chest. The shirt was a freaking mess. It was the worst looking shirt you ever heard of, you ever saw in your life. But I remember that episode, we were cracking up and everybody in the neighborhood wanted a Gordon Gartrell. I wanted a up shirt like deal. I wanted a horrible looking shirt like that. And from then on, that became the joke. If you had a. If you had a. If you saw a knockoff, some type of materialistic designer knockoff, you would, you would. You would call it a Gordon Gartrell, but just so many different little episodes. I remember the episode when he. When he. When he moved out and got his own. I think it was his own apartment and it was like run down and messed up and. And his. Cliff and Claire went to go see him and they could. They couldn't believe their son was living in such field. Another classic episode when they sung that song when Rudy was like, baby, whatever that song was. Oh, baby. Just so many classic episodes. And oh yeah, the track suits Malcolm drown. Yeah, I believe that. Yeah. And the thing is. And the thing is, Kristen, it's really messed up to see all of the clips. This guy was a hundred percent healthy. And, and. And to see like when they showing all the clips of right before this happened, it just. What the hell? Like, I don't know, y'. All. Let's get into a little bit of the facts. We could do some reminiscing that throughout the. Throughout the thing. Night and day. Yeah, see, Tech said night and day, him and his friends. Cockroach. Oh yeah, I forgot about Cockroach. Cockroach was the original, like cold from Martin. The original friend who was not very bright, but funny as hell. Cockroach. Man, y' all gotta continue to drop some of this. Y' all gotta continue to drop some, some. Some nostalgia in these chat, man. As. As I'm going through this article, we're gonna go back and forth, but that's a good one. Anitra. Him and his friend Cockroach. I forgot about Cockroach. Cockroach was something else. Cockroach was always getting Theo into some and Theo was always a willing participant in getting into some and. And his father, Cliff was always pissed about the decisions that Theo would make. But somehow by the end of the episode, it would all come together. And real quick, y', all, we see somebody. We got a new. A new fan of the show. Because I noticed every time I start the show, he comes up here and listens. So everybody say hi to the boy. I want to say his name because he gonna come running over here. But ever since the first episode yesterday, that was the first episode he sat in. As soon as I started this episode, he came up from the back and. And came to see me sit down and get a front front row seat of the show. So to the. I'm back, y'. All. Yeah, the computer. Is it better now? Is it better now? Let me know if y' all can hear me better now. The WI fi is a little low. WI Fi signal is low today, y'. All. I don't know why it's still doing it. You can hear me. It's frozen. Okay. Some people saying they can hear me fine. All right. Everybody's saying yes. All right, we can continue now. I don't know what's the. The WI fi is a little choppy today, but, yeah, Juice has a front row seat. Apparently, he's a new fan of the show. He made it specific soon as I came up here talking. As soon as I said, wake up, wake up, wake up. He came up here to get a front. Front row, Front row view. But let me go back. Hey, Ebony, can you ex. Can you explain to Libby how to become a member? I'm not sure how to explain it right now. I would have to look because I don't exactly know, but I know there is a member button somewhere on the YouTube is a member button, and you click that and you become a member. But maybe, Ebony, maybe you can help Libby Bear. But yeah, somebody. I saw. I saw a question I was trying to get to. Somebody was asking about a red flag. I'm trying to find it. Somebody asked a question I saw about. Okay, here it is. Let's see what the question. Do you think the red flag was up on the beach when Malcolm went into the ocean? I wonder if they put up the red flag after he died. We gonna get into that, y', all, because there allegedly or apparently was another. Another. Another man who is in critical condition after Malcolm Jamal Warner was pulled out and pronounced dead. There's another guy. So let's get it. Let's get into some of these articles. We'll continue to reminisce throughout this show, but I definitely want to get into kind of what the hell happened first. For those that might not have. Might not have Might not know what. What the hell went on. So let's. Let's take this from the New York Post. New York Post is Malcolm Jamal Warner was rescued by bystanders, declared lifeless after being pulled from the water. Okay? It says, good Samaritans try to rescue Malcolm Jamal Warner after he accidentally drowned. But it was too late. The Cosby show actor died on Sunday, July 20th at the age of 54 while on vacation in Costa Rica with his family. You know, how tragic. And you know, we all do stuff with our family, y' all. See, I do stuff for my family and we go to Kalahari. We do. We do a lot. We enjoy family time. I'm sure many of you guys enjoy your family time. The worst thing that you. The unimaginable is you're enjoying some family time and somebody dies or has some crazy accident. And so I'm just picturing y' all that he's on, he's out with his family in Costa Rica, and next thing you know, Malcolm Jawar Warner has. Is drowning. I mean, can you imagine that? Costa Rican national police told the Post that Warner was pulled from the water by people in the area and taken and taken to shore where they desperately attempted to save his life. New details have now emerged about Warner's final moments. The judicial investigation agency are sharing additional information about their effort. This is a quote. The victim appears to have entered the sea and was apparently swept away by a current. The man was rescued by bystanders and taken to shore where he received treatment from the Costa Rican Red Cross. However, he was declared lifeless at the scene. The actor's body was taken to the morgue at the San Joaquin de Flores the floors for an autopsy with his cause of death listed as asphyxiation. Sorry, asphyxiation. A submersion the Costa Rican national police shared on Monday, July 21. Warner played the beloved character we all know as Theodore Huxtable, AKA Theo, the son of Cosby's Cliff Huxtable in the on the Cosby show from 1984 to 1992. So my son, I mean, my brother was born for a few of those years. The role landed him in 1986 Emmy nomination for outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy series. Now, a couple things people didn't know about Theo, a lot of y' all may know. He directed him. He directed Malcolm and Malcolm and Eddie show with him. Eddie Griffin, that did pretty good. Didn't reach the Cosby success, but not many shows do. Also, he did some directing on the show Keenan and Kev A Famous Nickelodeon show that a lot of our younger generation grew up on. Caught the tail end of it. But Malcolm Jamal Warner directed that. Another thing people didn't know about. I don't know about Malcolm Warner. He directed. Y' all remember this? The New Edition song. Any Heartbreak, I can't sing it, but she. It'd be like she got it going on, going on, going on she got it going on, get going on. And they had the yellow on and. And Ralph Transmit had the stretch pants. Ralph Tres had on the black stretch pants with the little. The little elastic body heel that used to keep the stretch pants pulled down. A really funny choice of clothing. Anyway, Malcolm Jamal Warner actually directed that video. So he directed a huge video for a New Edition. A lot of people didn't know that this guy was a very talented. And when and if you really just thought about Theo, you wouldn't even know how you know you compared him to Theo. You just wouldn't even think or realize that Malcolm Jamal Warner was very talented and he was actually named after Malcolm X. Another fact that I'm sure a lot of you didn't know that Malcolm Jamal Warner was named after Malcolm X. Warner was joined on the screen by the rest of the Tuxbo TV family, which included Felicia Rashad as Claire, Sabrina Lebow as Sandra, Lisa Bonet as Denise, Tempest Bledsoe as Vanessa, and Keisha Knight Pulliam as Rudy. The star didn't audition for the role of Theo until the final day of the comedy's nationwide search and was handpicked by Cosby himself. Warner, he was only 14 years old. Theo was 14 years old when he got that role. Warner spoke to the Post exclusively about the Cosby show legacy in April 2021, just two months before Cosby's SA conviction was overturned. I can understand why some people can't watch the show and enjoy it because of everything that's going on now, Warner said. He confessed that the last impression the Cosby show had in TV history was undeniable. But I think there's a generation of young people who have pursued higher education or have started loving families because of the influence of that show. So it's kind of like you can't discount its impact on television culture and American culture. Well, said Warner. Continue to act for decades to come. After the series ended in 1992, he went on to voice the producer in the Magic school bus from 1994 to 1997. However, his next major role came in 1996 when he was cast as Malcolm McGee. And Malcolm and Warner starred in all 89 episodes alongside Eddie Griffin until the sitcom went off the air in the year 2000. Eddie Griffin broke his silence on Warner's death just hours after the news broke. Eddie Griffin said, my heart is heavy today. For what the world lost was a father, son, a poet, a musician, an actor, a teacher, a writer, a director, a friend and a warrior that I had the pleasure of going to war with against the Hollywood machine. And sometimes with you, with each other, because what, that's what brothers are. Sometimes we, we go to war with each other, but we do everything we do. But the love was always and is always there. Griffin concluded, you've taught me so much and I thank you. Rest well, big little brother. Warner's read between the lines co star Tracy Ellis Ross also addressed his unexpected passing. The pair played husband and wife on the short lived sitcom which only saw two seasons between 2011 and 2015. This is what Tracy Ellis Ross wrote. I love you, Malcolm. First I met you as Theo with the rest of the world. Then you were my first TV husband. My heart is so sad. What an actor and a friend you were. Warm, gentle, present, kind, thoughtful, deep, funny and elegant. You made the world a brighter place, she wrote. Sending so much love to your family. I'm so sorry for this unimaginable loss. This is a sad one, man. More the more I read and the more I realized people love Malcolm Malbourne and everybody who speaks on them speaks so highly. This is just a sad one, this episode. Sorry, y'. All. This episode kind of seems like a funeral right now, but it's all about paying respects and the Cosby show and Theo in particular was such an impactful part of my life. I feel like we just, it is one of those passings where we just got to dedicate some time and give it this proper respect. So much, you know, drama going on every day with all the Diddy stuff and Trump and all that. Sometimes you just gotta stop, pay some respect to someone or something that has had a positive effect on all of us. I don't know any crazy, you know, I don't know no bad crazy stories about Malcolm Jamal Warner. Everything I know is positive. And I like, I really pay attention to that statement of him, of Eddie Griffin saying him and Malcolm Jamal Warner went to war with the, with the Hollywood machine. We go to war every day on this show with the machine. And it's a fight. That part will never end. But it's also a fight we will never give up on. And, and I know a big thing. Malcolm Jamal Warner and different people from the Cosby show used to talk about is how Hollywood would push the negative agenda on your show and want you to fit in certain stereotypes and want you to portray certain stereotypes. And I imagine that was some of the wars, so. Wars that Eddie Griffin, Malcolm Jamal Warner went in, went up against when they went up against Hollywood. So I don't. I've never met Malcolm Jamal Warner. I met Rudy plenty of times in Atlanta. Well, Keisha Knight pulling him, but everybody I've ever known around him just loved the guy. And he just seems like he was one of us and just seems like one of us. You have to be careful. We always end up with some mysterious. And I'm not throwing no conspiracy there. It probably was just an accident, but it just. When you're dealing with Hollywood and it's not our fault. It's all the stuff we've seen in the past, all the stuff we've been through. Who knows what the goes on behind the scenes? The article goes on to say, and we're gonna get to the second man who was in critical condition, because we need to pay attention to that. That's in the next article. Anyway. In 2018, Warner joined the resident as Dr. A.J. austin, whom he played on 2023. Some of his other credits included American Story Show, American Crime Story, Sweets, 91 1, Community, Sons of Anarchy, Here and Now, and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Warner is survived by his wife and daughter, whom he chose to keep private. I know his wife and his daughter probably have to be a wreck right now to lose your father. A healthy father living his best life going. They say he was going to Costa Costa Rica for rest and relaxation with the family and everybody returning from Costa Rica except Malcolm Jamal Warner. Prayers to his daughter and his wife, y'. All. Prayers to his family. I, I. As sad as the world is right now, it pales in comparison to how sad imagine his wife and his daughter and the rest of his family are right now. But here on the on the Flow show, no filter. We gonna do our part to honor him, honor his legacy, honor his memories and, and, and just give him his proper respect. Because we hoop and holler all the time about who ain't doing it right, who doing it wrong, who bowing down to the system, you know, who's selling us out. We do a lot of hooping and hollering about that. And what I try to do is make sure I spend more time, even more time giving the flowers to the people who do it right. And in my opinion, Malcolm Jamal Warner was one of the people in Hollywood who did it the right way, who didn't bow down to the Hollywood machine. And, and I do want to make sure that we, we spend time on and give those people their, their credit and give them their respect because I don't want to just be hooping and hollering about the evil devils out there that we talk about all day long. Every day they are out there and they piss me the off. But sometimes we can get so caught up in talking about them we don't give the flowers to the people who do it right. And that's what I wanted to do today on today's show. Also, let's get to this second man because this is new information. This also comes from the New York Post about a second man in critical condition after being swept away by that same current. From the New York Post, Malcolm Jamal Warner drowning accident leaves a second man in critical condition after being swept away by by a strong current. It says here a second man was pulled out of the water at the Playa Grand Resort in Costa Rica just moments after the Cosby Shore alumni Malcolm Jamal Warner had drowned while swimming in that same water. Costa Rican first responders treated a second person at the scene where the actor was declared dead. This is, this is, this is, this is crazy. Also, paramedics received reports of a water related incident in Le mans at around 2.10pm on Sunday. Once they arrived at the scene, they attended to two adult male patients. Authorities said that the two people were dragged by a water current at the beach, though did not disclose any other information. One man, who has not been named, was rushed to a local clinic in Mission. Officials told the outlet. First responders performed CPR on the second individual who was identified as Malcolm Jamal Warner, but he died on the scene. The scene was subsequently handed over to the police and authorities for the appropriate legal procedures. The Post reached out to the Costa Rican Red Cross for further comment, but no, no comment was made. Costa Rican national police on Monday told the Post that Warner was pulled from the water by people in the area area and taken to the shore where they desperately attempted to save his life and then after that they weren't able to save him. The actor's body was taken to the morgue and you know, they listed with his, with his cause of death was basically drowning. Just a sad situation. I don't know if y' all have any stories but that water is dangerous y' all and let's just take it as an accident unless we find out some, some concrete evidence or some Evidence where we find out it was something more than that. But as of. For right now, for what we know right now, let's just take it at their word that it was an accident and just. I just want to tell everybody, man, that that water is nothing to play with. I don't really go once. Once. I can't stand up. That's the far. I really. I don't go too much farther than that. When I go to the beach once, that water, if I'm walking out to that water and that water start hitting my. Like, getting up to my neck, that's my limit. And I don't like to go that far. I really like to go where it's about a little bit above my chest. Just because, you know, covering the news, I hear all of these stories, and it ain't just famous people. I'm hearing about people getting pulled by rip currents all the time, and I don't even think you're safe. I mean, I think. I don't know if it's happened in shallower water, but I've heard sometimes it's happening in shallow water. I don't know. But I got friends that like to go way out. I got friends that like to go way out and swim and show how good they can swim. And they. Out there where. I don't know. The water may be 30, I don't know, maybe 30ft deep. 15, 20. 15, 20, 30ft deep. I don't play with that. You can call me a scaredy cat. You can call me a. You know, we always talk about each other, me and my friends. We are so competitive. So. But that's not a peer pressure I'm ever succumbing to. I've just seen too many stories like this one with Malcolm Jamal Warner of being swept out by rip current and. And you're dead. See, Tuck says Malcolm and Eddie was it. What was the. And I definitely grew up on Keenan and Kell. Oh, here it go. Yeah. See, Tuck. So you. You probably my brother's age. See, Tuck, I ain't gonna age you, but you probably my little brother age because he grew up on. He grew up on Keenan and Kale. And I don't know if you watched Malcolm and Eddie, but he definitely grew up on Keenan and Kale. But Wake and Bay crew. What. What. What. What's your thoughts on. On this current? On. On this. On this water? Are y' all careful when y' all go out? Are y' all careful when y'. All. When y' all go out? On that. On that Beach. Are y' all the type of people that go way out on the water and want to show everybody how good you can swim? Steph says the irony that a lot of his interviews are reals were about his legacy to his child. Yeah, yeah. Just a man. Just like I said, one of the few. We didn't have no crazy scandals. We didn't hear about Malcolm Jamal Warner using his position of power to manipulate women or manipulate men or manipulate people in general. We didn't hear none of that. We didn't even hear that. You know, he did a lot of directing on shows. You didn't even hear that he was an. You gotta. We gotta all remember. Malcolm Jamal Warner was famous from the time he was 14 on one of the biggest hit shows of all time. If anybody could have been an, it could have been him. You didn't hear those stories. I, like I said, everybody I hear about loved Malcolm Jamal Warner. But like, like, like, like Melissa said, just what a nightmare. That's just the best way to describe it. You out with your family, you, you kicking it. And Step says, flo, unlike you, I get so caught up in the emotion. I put myself in a situation. It hits us harder. Yes, yes, for sure. This is this, this is, this is. And she said, she said, I'm like you. You know, Steph, Step, Step always coming back with an edit. But, but we read it. We read it, right? Yeah, we knew what you meant, Step. I knew exactly what you meant. No, I didn't change it back to. I didn't change it back to 8:30. We. 8:30. We came on at 8:30, Tatum. No, we at 8:30. From here on out, we're not going back to 7:30. Did you change your time back to we at 8:30, Tatum? We started at 8:30 pretty much on the dot, maybe one. One minute behind. I don't know what. I was waiting on the WI Fi to load up, but we definitely started at 8:30am and it will be 8:30 from now on. Like I said, the 8:30 slot works so much, Works so good, especially when you got a family. And it gives everybody a chance to either get out the house or it gives me a chance to do little things around the house and, or, or give people time to wake the hell up. I guess Juice is done with the, with this show. Juice has left the building. So. But I just wanna, I just want everybody to undertow. I just want everybody to just respect. Oh, look. Look at nature. I look, I like that. Anitra's super safe. Anitra say she ain't going past the hips. So let's. Let's. Let's just do a poll in the chat. I want to see how safe the flow community is right now. What. When you go to the beach, how far do you go out? Do you. Are you like Anitra, where you go about where the hips are you? Me, where you go? Chess neck is the apps. And I'm not even comfortable when I go out to where the water is up to my neck, but that is the absolute farthest I will go. Or are you one of those people that will go where the water is? Literally, if you're stood up, the water is 5 to 10 to 12, 15ft above your head. Let me see what kind of type. Let me see what type of thrill seekers we got in the chat today, because I want to see how far do y' all go out in the water when y' all go to the beach? Steph says she grew up in the water. All the water to see ocean. I was taking under off a jet ski, and the current just kept sucking me back under in San Diego. My face kept scraping. It's scary, but I respect it. Wow, Steph, I'm sad to hear you went through that. I know that had to be scary. Thank God you made it out okay. What did you say? What happened to you, Melissa? This was back in 2013. I haven't been in the ocean since. Did I miss your story, Melissa? Melissa? I didn't see. Did you. Did you tell a story about something happening to you? Oh, I think I hear it is. Is this. You said you had a Baywatch moment. I don't know if you did. You tell us what happened. How. Like I said, how far do y' all go out in that water? I really just want to know what. What? Thank you for the super chat, Lord Crawford. Thank you for the fortnite. I gotta find it again. Thank you for the 499 Super Chat. Me and my son will be eating today on Laura, and if anybody else feels in their heart to send us some super chats, we'll be eating. I'm going door. I'm going doordashing with my son today. Soon as he get his behind up. Because he's a door. He got. He got his. He's a doordasher, and I want to go doordashing today. I told him I. I told him I was gonna go doordash and ride around with him today, and I asked him how much he was gonna pay me for. For being his assistant. And you got. He just got quiet, so I don't know what that mean. I guess that mean I ain't getting paid. But I told my son last night, I'm going doordashing with him today. As soon as he get up today, we're gonna turn that app on. And I'm about to. I want to deliver some food. I want people to see flow pull up with their. With their. With their chick fil A in there in their boss, in their McDonald's and whatever else. Flow gonna be your. If you doordash. If you doordash and Cleveland today, you might see me bringing your food. So if you doordash and Cleveland, don't be surprised if if I pull up. So I told my son last night, I said, hey, hey, son. I said, we doordashing in the morning. I'm going with you. He was like, all right, cool. I said, how much you gonna pay me? I'm riding all day. He was like, I'm like, pat, got your time, but we'll see. So I guess I'm not getting paid, but. Oh, yeah, maybe I will. I'll go live. I'll go live when we doordash. Tracy. Tracy said do a live or two. I'll go live while I'm doordashing. Yeah, I'll go. I'll go live. I'll go live while I doordash. That's a good idea. So what I need to do is make sure I got my phone all the way charged up. Okay. Thank you, Steph. You know it's taco Tuesday. Y' all know we gonna be getting tacos. Matter of fact, we already know what we getting, so thank you for the 4.99 super chat. She says, get Juice a toy or a taco. And lots of kisses from Step. Yeah, we definitely will get juice. Juice gonna get you. We're gonna get Juice a taco. I don't know. Get him a little doggy taco. Yeah. Tatum. He went silent on me. I. I was like, damn. Sounds like Rachelle said. Sounds like the daughter Lily there. They don't want it. They don't want to give up their money, do they? I said, I'm gonna be a good worker. I'm gonna. I'm gonna take the food to him. I'm gonna walk it to him. I've been doordashing my. I've been doordashing and. And Uber Eats and Postmates. I was doing that way before everybody, so I've been doing it like. I'm talking about ordering the service. So I've been using that service for years. I'm so anxious to see and feel how it feels on the other side. I want to deliver the food. I want to pull up and see and see how that. How it works. Yeah. Melissa said juice needs. I love flow shirt. Yep. That's a good idea. I'm gonna get him one and have them put it on. Skip the dad. Hey, hey, hey. Somebody said who said who says skip the dashes in. In Cleveland. Hold on. Anisha say skip the dashes in Cleveland, especially east Cleveland. No, we should be that we're gonna be dashing in the South Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Mayfield area. Sean, how far do you go in the water when you go to the beach? Like, when the water go to what? Oh, you. You even at least one Nietzsche. My cousin said hips. I thought that was China. Said when the water go to her thigh, that's the farther she going. I said I'll go to my neck. Man, that water ain't nothing to play with. But yeah, we definitely gonna be. If you in the Euclid, Mayfield. If you in the Euclid, Mayfield or South Euclid. No, no. South Euclid, Cleveland Heights or Mayfield area. I might be your dasher, so don't be surprised. The flow pull up bringing you your McChicken and I will be live. Good idea, Tracy. I'm definitely going live. Libby said flo yell at YouTube for me not having the join button so I can be a member. Yeah. Why is Libby Bear not able to be a member, y'? All? I don't know. So y' all put me in the chat. Let's do it. Let's do a little freestyle. What's. Is there any particular story that's sticking out that y' all want to talk about in the chat? Give me a thing. This. We gonna. We this last section of the show. We're gonna talk about something. Oh, oh, oh. Skip the Skip. Skip the dishes before there was a doordash. Oh, yeah, skip the dishes. I forgot about that. Good one. Good one. You're right. You're right about that. I forgot about that. What other particular story Or. Or. Or. Or. Or something y' all want to cover? We could do it right now. So I'm waiting. I'm looking in the chat. Whoever comes with the best. The best story we would. We're gonna start. We're gonna cover that. But I guess on the Malcolm Jamal Warner note, just want to say he was an actor, father, husband, and. And a great man. He will be missed. Like I said, I can't help but reminisce about all those Thursday nights. And if y' all remember, if y' all true. If y' all true Cosby show fans, y' all remember that time when we had the. It's so hard to say. When the Cosby show was going off the air. The Cosby show was going off the air. And they did the final episode. Oh, shoot. All this time I thought. I thought the power was plugged in, but they did the final episode. And they did the Boys to Man did Y' all did the. The Boy to Man did the. It's so hard to say goodbye to the Cosby Show. Oh, my God. We were all in tears. Everybody was in tears. My family was in tears. My school people. That final episode of the Cosby show, when they did the. And they did the Boys to man. It's so hard to say goodbye, man. It wasn't a dry eye in Cleveland. Melissa says Boys to Man was her first cd. Yeah. We used to love Boys to Man, but that episode was crazy. On the final episode of the Cosby Show. Yeah. And then that's why we got to keep our eyes and ears open. Then he says we. Was it an accident? It feels like every time celebrities pass, we find out later it wasn't what we were originally told. You just never know, especially knowing that he was fighting against the machine. Rudy's funeral with the fish. I remember that. I remember that. That was a crazy episode. When they had the. When they had the funeral. You remember that, Laura? Whoever remembers that episode or the final Cosby episode with the. It's so hard to say goodbye, man. We were in tears because it wasn't even just like the show was going off, but it was like, that's what me and my family did every Thursday night at 8pm like, no more Thursday night. No. We would get full. We would get pizza. We would get pizza from a Touch of Italy. If you're in Cleveland or been to Cleveland, you might have heard of Touch of Italy. But we would get pizza from A Touch of Italy every Thursday, and we would sit down and watch the Cosby show all together as a family and know that that was. Was just a sad, sad, sad moment. But I'm hearing people want to talk about the cloud scene. Is that. Is that what we want to talk about? Oh, yeah. Look. When Denise still in the car to go to a concert with her silly friend. That was a good episode. That was a really good episode. Childhood memories for sure. For sure. Some Tatum. Tatum said the same thing. I remember. I Would I was part of that was part of our routine cancel. Yeah, that I don't know everybody we had we third. That's why I remember what day it was. Thursday night. We used to watch the damn Cosby show every week, 8 o'. Clock. Then it really turned up when we started watching the Remember A Different World start coming on. I think didn't start coming on after the Cosby Show. So basically you had an hour the Cosby's. Because Different World was just a spin off for the Cosby Show. So you used to see some of the characters on there. Of course you got a lot of Denise. Just one of the. Probably the best hour of TV of all time. Different World made me with college and not just me. A lot of people wanted to go to college because of A Different World. Just a very impactful, positive show. Now I want to get into all the stuff that kind of happened down the line with Bill, you know, Cosby. That's controversial right now. This is about Malcolm Jamal Warner and the Cosby show in A Different World and how it impacted us. Yep. And then also speaking of a different world. Remember, remember? Yeah. No cable, just 3, 5 and 8. No Internet, no social media, no phones for the most part. I mean back then if you had a phone, it came with a book bag and it was big and it Velcro and it plugged up and you only had 200 minutes allow or your bill was gonna be a thousand dollars. I don't know if y' all remember the phones back then, but if you talked on that phone for more than 200 minutes a month, your bill was a thousand thousand dollars. So it was no phone, it was no distractions. Nowadays you do movie night and everybody like this. Ain't nobody looking at the damn movie. But no, we do watch the movie when we do movie nights. But a lot of this generation, you do movie nights and everybody head looking into that phone. Everybody is in the phone. You got to talk to people. Even if you. Even if you right next to them, sometimes you can get their attention and. And have better luck talking today ass through the phone. You have better time doing that than trying to ask them something in person. So this was the. Like I said, take me back to the 90s. And if you old enough, the 80s, man, I missed those times. I missed those times. It was just a different vibe. No Desi said no remote control. Damn. What year was that? Yeah. Hey, look, y' all saying you were only allowed a certain number of texts a month. Yeah. You were only allowed a certain Amount of text per month. It was like, how y'. All. How many of y' all old enough to know when he came out with free nights and weekends? That changed. The game was on their phone for the first time with. Because remember that? I don't know, y' all remember the commercial where they were talking about, we used to be tricking getting past the collect calls. And instead of saying your name would be like, you have a collect call from. And they used to say, we out of baby Issa boy. And it was just a delivery message that we had a baby and it's a boy. Well, with cell phones, they're so expensive. Cell phone calls like this, hey man, I'll be there in five minutes. Like that was the whole conversation. Hey, man, come pick me up. Like you didn't have no time to be on that. You couldn't just be on there talking, shooting the bridge. But when they dropped free nights and weekends, that was the first time when people started being able to. 9 o' clock, after 9. 00pm People be on that damn phone all night. But during the day, that phone get no action. But them first time. Oh, y', all. Who. Who old enough to remember when they came with three nights and weekends, that was a game changer. Don't call my phone at no. 4 in the afternoon. You get 200 minutes for the whole month during the day. But on the weekend and at the after 9am you could talk ass off. Lot has changed. We had pages back there. Fire boy say she stay away from beach waters. I can't deal. You smart. So you. She said she don't even get in where with her. She don't even hit her feet. Oh, Lily said she remember actual operators. You mean like you pick up the phone and you would say, hey, connect me to someone. Connect me to so. And they would like you if you remember that you are og. Oh, yeah. Hey, so Melissa, you remember, you remember? You remember. Oh my God. That's how I called for a ride home. Yeah. If you were super duper cheap like we were or didn't have money. My collect call when I used to call my mom to come pick me from basketball practice, it'd be like I would call my mom and it would say, you have a collect call from come pick me up. And my mom would decline the call. And so every time instead of saying my name, when it'd be like, when you do a collect call, you gotta say it's a call from flow. I wouldn't say that because my mom wasn't paying for no damn. Collect calls. So when I used to call collect, I used to. When they said, what's your name? It'd be like, you have a call from. And be like, come pick me up. And my mom would decline to collect call and then come to Shaker to pick me up for basketball practice. So I think, Melissa, if I'm reading your message correct, you used to do the same thing. You call for a ride home, but you just say, come pick me up. You never said your name and all that. This is how we finesse the whole. Oh, yeah. Hey, look. Hey. Tatum said better not call before 9. Is you crazy? Call it. Calling before 9. It's free after 9. Before 9, I got nothing for you. Yep. Then came the free time from 7pm to 7am look at the progression. Y' all pay phones. Terry Rossi collect cars. Yes. Damn, I forgot about that. Landlines. And waiting for 11pm to call Long distance. I remember when Star. Hey, look, when Star 67 came. I'm about to say, look, Steph. No, you was. You was the slick one. You remember Star 67. Y' all was the people want to call people. What about when call ID came out when it was before Star67? Because Star67, a lot of made it where people couldn't call back. But remember, remember when call ID first came out when you could call and you could see who the was calling you? That was a huge. We all see. Tuck said nice. And weekends start at 7pm was the game changer. Yeah, because that was like, oh, now we free at 7pm let's get it. Tayden, what you was doing with a pager and a Motorola? Tatum was. Tatum was a trapper. You know, back in the day, if you had a pager, they. They you. You was the weed man on Weed man had pagers. Yeah. Johnny said you would stay up. You would stay up just to talk after nine for sure. Libby said she missed her pager. Yeah. Pages was cool because people couldn't blow up your phone. All they could do is page you, and you just got back to them whenever the you wanted to. Cell phones kind of made it where you start being like people act like they owned you. Like, I called you, like, damn, do you pay my cell phone bill? I gotta answer every time you call? No, it don't matter that I'm doing. Start Six nine. Man. Star six nine got a lot of relationships. It was a lot of arguments and relationships behind Star 69. I remember. I remember when we would call, like if. When a guy was cheating and a chick Would call the house and she would hang up because the wife answered or the girlfriend. She starts 69 her ass. And that was the turn be like I knew that was that bitch. I start 6:9. Star 6:9 allowed you to call back the last person who called your damn phone. So many women have got. Women and men got caught up in the 80s and 90s behind that damn Star 69. Star 69 wreaked havoc on Cleveland for sure. Star 69 had full out wars going on. I don't know if Y' all remember Star 69, but Star 69 was legendary. I remember cigarettes in the vending machine. See Tuck time. He remembers cigarettes in the vending machine. Hey, you remember cigarettes in the vending machine. You remember back in the day when you could. Times were so different. You could be. You could be seven years old and go to the store and buy, buy cigarettes and beer for your, for your mom or your auntie. All you had to have was a little letter that don't work no more. Yeah, I don't know if y' all remember that, but your, your auntie or your mom or your grandma would send you a little bitty ass. You be 10 years old, you going to get a pack of Newport 1/ hundreds and a, and a six pack a beer and, and the guy let you get it. All you had was a little letter saying, hey, this is my son. Let him get some beer for me. They, you can't do that no more. They ain't going. They ain't going for them little written notes. But y', all, at the end of the day, the tragic loss of Malcolm Jamal Warner, AKA Theo, everybody's brother, son, whatever, whatever, Whatever you look at, he was that we lost him. And it did make us remember some of the good times, the 80s, some of y' all reminiscing about the 60s. I don't remember the operators. Y' all got me beat someone in the chat. They remember when operators connected your damn calls. I think that was the 60s, maybe the 70s, I don't know. But it was a great time. No phones, no social media, no, none of that. Just us bonding and actually talking to each other. Not scrolling, no damn timeline. So put. Hey, if you, if you drink one, if you waking and baking this morning, put one up in the air for Malcolm Jamal Warner. And if you ain't waking bacon if you're having a drink, take a shot for Malcolm Jamal Warner. Today I, I'm gonna take a shot for him. My boy Theo. He blazed the trail. Entrepreneur, actor, all the above. And Just want to let y' all know, meant a lot to me. Okay. That was the seventies. Appreciate it. And I'm glad, man. That was a tough one for me. But like I said, I love being able to wake up in the morning and know that I got a family and a community that I could talk about. We could go through these tragic moments together. Next tomorrow, we will be back to the regularly scheduled program talking about all the drama, talking about probably Diddy Trump, Epstein cloud seeding, whatever the hell is going on. We will be talking about it tomorrow. But today, I wanted to give Malcolm Jamal Warner, AKA Theo, his proper respect and give him his time and dedicate this show to a great actor, a great person, a great father, great, great husband. Malcolm Jamal Warner, aka Theo. Mr. Gordon Gartrell. Thanks, y'. All. Raise one in the air. Hey, like, like, like, like Laura said, raised. Appreciate that. Lord said she raised her joint in the air for Malcolm Jamal Warner. Thank you, Lord. And everybody else. Let's get to. I'm out. Let's get some rest in peace. Malcolm in the chat. Rest in peace, Malcolm. And I'm out. Let's get that. Let's add the rest in peace, Malcolm to the I'm out. Today, in honor of his memory and. And showing respect for his family, Libby Bear says, fly high, Malcolm. God needed another angel. Thank you for that, Libby Bear. Tracy says you guys be safe. Keep your eyes open and stay hydrated. Love you all. Love you, too, Tracy. And Angie says Theo was one of my first crushes. Ah, look at Theo C. Tuck says I'm out. Rest up, Malcolm. Lily says I'm all peace and love. Rip Malcolm. Libby Bear says, rest in peace, Malcolm. Yes. I appreciate y' all for giving Malcolm his respect. And I'm glad to see he met. He meant as much to you. He meant as much to you as he did to me. And I will definitely continue to make sure that's what really happened. But as I always say, tomorrow we back to our regularly scheduled program, back to the drama, back to calling out, back to doing what we do. But I appreciate you joining me in this episode that was dedicated to somebody who really influenced me and really impacted my life. Malcolm Jamal Warner, AKA Theo. As always, I love y', all, but I'm out.
