The thoughts, views and opinions shared on the Flow show. No filter. Are for educational and entertainment purposes only. I am not a professional. I am just good. Ah, happy, happy Friday everybody. One of the favorite days of the week. The work week is over today. Anybody going into work today ain't gonna get done for real. We all know when we go into work on Fridays, that's probably the mo. The less productive work week for sure. And that's just. It is what it is. So enjoy your Friday. Go to work, give a half ass effort. Give half ass effort and then come on back home feeling good. Tgif got a great show for you today. More Diddy, Diddy, Diddy. And I don't know if you caught the Wendy Williams interview, if you don't know who Wendy Williams is. She was a radio host, personality, had a TV show and then back in the day, her and Diddy, she'd been calling out Diddy since way back. And a lot of people think it wouldn't, they wouldn't be surprised if she is messed up to this day because of some sneaky Diddy might have had done to her. But that ain't no, no evidence of that. But what we do know is Diddy did do some things to Wendy back in the day. And I'm gonna go over that today. Also a little Jay Z news. You remember that him and Tony Busby been going back and forth. Jay Z. Tony Busby is the attorney out of Houston that's handling all them lawsuits and them freaky lawsuits against Diddy. Well, we got some information that co signs and confirms something that I told y'all. And it's about the Mufasa premiere with his daughter Blue. There's something interesting with that premiere and how it came about. We're gonna talk about that. It kind of shows that Jay Z kind of used Blue as a prop. But I'm gonna let y'all decide. But I'm gonna give you all the facts. Very interesting. I'ma update you on Tick Tock. Man, they playing so many games with this Tick Tock ban. And is it gonna be banned and it's not gonna be banned. It's horrible, y'all. So I'm give you a little news on that. I'm about sick of my imagine not knowing if you're gonna have a job. And. And then they keep saying, oh, we gonna keep it. No, we ain't. And we ain't it the whole week up until the deadline. I mean, it's, it's. I hate this system that we in with this country, y'all. I'm gonna be flat out honest. And a lot of my frustrations ain't even just for me. For real, like, I'm the type person. That's why they call me Flow. I'm the type person. I am going to go with my own Flow anyway. So I don't really get caught up in what decisions other people make, including them assholes at Congress. But I get more pissed off when I look at all my peers, especially the women. I'm gonna be honest. The women really get you. You know, when you see women crying, as a man, you be ready to tear some up anyway, you know, I mean, like, why y'all making them cry? But I'm saying for real, it's a lot of people who, their whole life depends on it. I mean, it, it, it means a lot to me to Tick Tock. Of course I make good income over there. My, my majority of my income is made on Tick Tock. But it ain't even about me. I'm just sick of how they, you know, people who really like, I'm, I'm, I'm not, I'm gonna be okay, but it's people that's not gonna be okay at all. And they, and all I'm seeing on Tick Tock is people. First they crying, then they excited because Joe Biden and them saying they gonna do something, and then now he's just saying he's not gonna enforce the ban, but he's not gonna give it. No, no. What did he say? He's not going to give it an extension or whatever, but he's just not going to enforce it. But the ban starts. He's not going to force it. It starts on the 19th. He's saying he's not going to force it. And then Trump comes in on the 20th. It's just weird, like where he could, Joe Biden could have just signed it and said, hey, we doing a 90 day extension and everything be all good. That's up to him to do. He don't do that. Which is another thing about the Democrats. I'm going to talk about that later though. Here I go, going on and on. And it reminds me of this and think, then of course, I'm gonna go over to the subscription stuff too and let you know about the live episode this evening. But before we get into it, it, this is, it reminds me of like something that my mom used to do and she would always wait to the last, like if I was on punishment or if I couldn't do some. It Was like she always waited to the very, very, very last second to tell me I could go or I could do whatever I was waiting to do. And I just remember that time being so frustrated. The time of waiting to know the outcome and. And. And me waiting. I remember that time was just excruciating. And. And I'll be like, am I gonna be able to go? Am I gonna be able to go? So it's like they bringing up old scars with this Tick Tock band. I don't like. I like. You can tell me. No. I'd rather you tell me no ASAP than have me then pulling me along on some thread or string, dangling some carrot in my face. Then it makes me pissed off. Then it makes me say, you know what it you and Tick Tock and all the band and all of that. I don't know if it's people that feel like that like me, but don't. Don't stream me along, Mama. You scarred me. No, I'm just playing my mama. Look, when you in trouble, you can't complain because. Well, that's what my mom used to say when I tell her about that. She'd be like, well, that's what your ass get. And I kind of put everything in perspective, so. No, you love your mom. But anyway, we got some shit to talk about, and it's a Friday, and I'm feeling good, Flo. No Filter. So let's get into it. I ain't gonna hold you. It's Friday. We everybody ready to hit the streets, I imagine. I don't know what y'all got going on this Friday. Wendy Williams. Let's get into this, y'all, because she says some. She just had an interview on Breakfast Club. Wendy was the first whistleblower, if you want to call her that, on Diddy. And when she was saying it, man, she. She damned her, even though she bounced back. But Diddy tried to ruin her whole career by her calling out stuff that came to be true after all of that. And that's that. And wait till y'all hear this. So without further ado, let's get started. So what's up, y'all? Welcome back to another episode of the Flow show no Filter. I believe this is episode 67, but don't quote me on that because I gotta look at my laptop to make sure. But I think it's number 67. Where. What do we do on the Flow show? No Filter. Well, I tell you one thing we don't do. We don't hold back on giving up the Real truth on what the hell going on about your favorite celebs and just viral current events. Now, me, I'm your host, Flo, known on social media as Flo Daddy Flo. F L O D A D D Y F L O. Hit me up anytime, any question, don't, don't be shy. And today we diving into one of the most legendary celebrity feuds that a lot of people don't know. A lot of this that went on because a lot of this was way before they, like, really got popular with Internet, social media and all this. It's before that. So a lot of people don't know about this. Wendy Williams versus Sean Diddy Comb. But you're gonna know about it today after listening to the podcast, right? Cheer. So now I've been following this beef for decades, you know, so you know, this. This one right here got everything from shade, career sabotage, public reconciliations, and more drama, fresh drama. So we got old drama and fresh drama in this beef. So buckle up. Keep your eyes on the road. If you listening while you driving, keep your ears on me. And if you walk in your dog. Do I have to say it? We pick up the poop. We love our dogs, but we love when you pick up the poop, too. So we about to break all this down now that you got everything. And keep your head. Keep your eyes on the swivel because people be lurking on people that's walking. Make sure you're watching your surroundings. And we about to get into this. So let's kick things off by going way back to where this all started. This was the late 90s. I don't know what y'all were doing in the late 90s, but late 90s, I was running around doing too much, being. Being grown, being older than I should have been, at concerts, doing all type of shit. I don't know about y'all. That's what I was doing. I love. I missed the 90s, though. So Wendy Williams, back then, she was a radio host at Hot 97. And what was Wendy Williams known for? She was known for spilling the tea. She was a truth. A truth teller. Before people actually rallied behind the truth tellers. Back then, we were still mesmerized by the machine and the corporations and the. And the. The big elite narratives. So imagine being a truth teller back then when they didn't want the truth out. No kind of truth. So she was known for that. And she would do it despite the backlash. And of course, Diddy, or back then, he would have been Puff Daddy, was one of the biggest names in music industry and they clashed. Okay, so here's where things got messy. 1998, Wendy Williams allegedly questioned Diddy's sexuality live on air. Now for the record, Wendy has never been one to shy away from controversy. But this particular allegation hit a nerve. Diddy reportedly didn't take kindly to those rumors and allegedly. But we pretty much know he used his industry power to actually get Wendy Williams fired from Hot 97. And if y'all know Hot 97 in the late 90s was the. And I imagine it was a great job and she was well known. So imagine being fired because this prick is mad that you telling the truth and you lose a. A whole radio gig. And we not talking about some local joker radio either. We talking about Hot 97 New York, one of the biggest radio stations in the country. So Diddy doing that, you know that was a big blow and unfair. Now when you come to find out all the coming out, Diddy, you wrong as hell for that. So that will let you know the energy right there that set the tone for this relationship. Now we're going to continue on because guess what, do you think Wendy Williams backed down after that? Hell no. She moved to another radio station, wbls and continued to do what she does best. And that's talk and tell the world what the is going on in the celebrity world. And she didn't stop throwing shade at Diddy. And that set the tone for this years of beef that we are about to continue to detail. So fast Forward to the 2000s and the feud only got more intense. Wendy's on air comments about Diddy's personal life didn't stop. Oh no, she kept going. She said, Diddy, I'm, I'm gonna keep telling this truth. In fact, she claimed that Diddy orchestrated confrontations with her. Specifically she said the girl group Total, if you remember Total, that was Diddy's group back in the day. It was. Was it three girls in total? Two girls. Three girls. I think it was three girls in Total. And they were signed to Diddy's Bad boy Records. Well, well, Wendy says Sean Diddy Combs had Total roll up on her outside of the radio station one time and allegedly she was jumped by Total. That's the word on the street. Now let's talk about why this is, this is significant. Now Wendy has always been bold. But when you have someone like Diddy alleged allegedly sending artists to confront you, it shows how much power dynamics played a role here. And the, this I don't know if y'all remember that Total song. Y'all remember the group, but they had that song with Biggie when he came in. Give me your divinity in it. Something. Something like that. I don't know. Y'all gotta. Y'all gotta go to y'all Apple music. But anyway, during this era, Wendy was building her brand as a queen of shock radio. This is all while Diddy was at the top of his game as a music mogul. We talking about this is like the early 2000s. This is. This is even after all about the Benjamins and all that. So it wasn't. And it wasn't just personal. It represented a fight between two industry titans with completely different approaches to fame and control. So now let's jump to 2017. Now, by this time, Wendy was a daytime talk show queen, and Diddy was still Diddy. Y'all remember the show Wendy Williams had when, I think when she showed. What was our catch thing? Her catchphrase? How you, how you doing? Something like that. How you doing? Or whatever. So this is that. The Wendy Williams Show. And the two seem to bury the hatchet, at least for a moment. During this time, Wendy described it as a full circle moment, saying it felt good to reconnect with him after all the drama. And did he. Well, did he seem to let bygones be bygones? But here's the thing. Was it genuine or was it just a PR move for both of them where they both benefited from the exposure? I mean, think about it. Both of them thrive off of attention and a public reconciliation made headlines. But as we shall see later on in this breakdown, this Truce didn't last five fucking minutes. So now fast forward to 2024, and the drama reignited in a big way. See, when Diddy was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, assault and racketeering, Wendy wasn't exactly shocked. Let's just say that in fact, she publicly said, it's about time. Yep, you heard that right. She called him out again, suggesting that his arrest was long overdue. Wendy also referenced how Diddy allegedly tried to ruin her career back in the day, saying his behavior was finally catching up to him. She torment, he tormented Wendy, y'all. So let's unpack this for a second. Wendy has always positioned herself as someone who tells it like it is, no matter the consequences. Her comments about Diddy weren't just personal. They reflected a broader critique of how power and influence can shield people from, you guessed it, accountability. And let's be real, the timing of her remarks couldn't have been more dramatic. It's like she'd been waiting for this moment to finally say I told y'all so. Because if you were around back in the day when Wendy was saying all this, that eventually came out, there were the machine was crushing her as far as doing anything it could to make her look like a liar. And it turned the public against her in a way, even though she had her hardcore fans. But like I said, you know, 2024, you know, lies no more. You know what I mean? That's the same 2024 is when truth telling became popular or I don't know if popular the right word, but people started, the general public started supporting the truth tellers more because we started getting the truth and, and started realizing how long we have been lied to. So what does this view tell us about Wendy and Diddy as individuals? Well, for one, it highlights how both of them have built their careers on being larger than life personalities. Wendy is unapologetically messy, while Diddy is unapologetically powerful. But here's the thing. Their fuel also underscores the darker side of the entertainment industry, the side that we have been documenting on this podcast from the beginning. Also on my social media pages. The entertainment industry is a dark side where power struggles, personal vendettas and public Personas collide. Wendy's willingness to air out Diddy's alleged behavior over the years speaks to her fearless approach, but it is also come at a cost. Diddy, on the other hand, has faced serious accusations, serious accusations that go beyond this feud with Wendy. His recent legal troubles are a reminder that even the most powerful figures aren't untouchable. But this Wendy Williams situation shows you in a vacuum how far we've actually come as a society. There was a time when, let's just say this, when Wendy Williams, she was the truth teller, then there might have been only two or three people in the entire industry, media at all, the whole media at large. There I might only been two or three people who were truth tellers with a voice or a platform, Wendy being one. And they're like maybe a couple who are not quite as popular but had a little platform back then, whereas now we got a lot of truth telling platforms that we can go to. That's just a big difference. So I do appreciate that personally because as much as Flack I might catch from the elites or from corporations for doing what I'm doing, I could only imagine what happened or how it would have been back in the day. It is an incredible situation. And that interview. Please, please, please, please, please Go check out that interview that Wendy Williams did on the Breakfast Club. It is. If you want to find it, go to YouTube and search what was it you search? Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club Charlemagne, Wendy Williams. And once you check that out, you'll see the whole interview where she goes in and talks about the many. The many things that Diddy did to her. And actually she details what she's going through. Like right now she was. She had a serious health care scare before and she's doing a lot better now. But if you want to get more details, please go to that. Go to that interview. So next let's talk about. Oh subscriber for the subscribers. We are setting up the first live show. It is slated for 7 or 8, actually 7pm tonight. So I appreciate your subscriptions. That helps me get to my goal with this podcast even faster. Now, before I get into this Jay Z situation that has been uncovered with the 13 year old lawsuit that hurt him and Diddy did something to a 13 year old. And y'all, y'all know that Diddy got dragged into that lawsuit and him and attorney Tony Busby had, were pretty much just going to war, throwing all kind of mud at each other. Well, if you remember that that happened maybe about a few weeks ago, maybe, maybe a month ago. Well, if you remember the minute he dropped that, that lawsuit, when, when Busby dropped that lawsuit, it was like a day before the premiere of Blues, which is Beyonce and Jay Z's daughter. It was the, the premiere of Mufasa, the movie that the daughter Blue is in. Well, if you remember, Jay Z and Beyonce and Boo had a big, you know, they did a big thing about it and they did a red carpet and all that. But now we finding out there was a reason why the vibe was off. And I remember when, if you remember, we talked about it and I was saying like the vibe was off. I mean, I understand the whole goal was Beyonce wanted to show a unified front because he created these horrific allegations that just came out about Jay Z. So I felt like it was forced, but it was even more forced than I thought. So let's get into this. I thought this was very interesting because I kind of knew, but then I kind of didn't, you know. So let's go over. I'm going to tell you what I'm talking about because I know you're like, well, what the hell are you talking about? Here comes. So let's, let's talk about this latest Jay Z drama that came up in this article that this information came from was actually People magazine. So the music world and Hollywood and entertainment world was rocked by the allegations brought to you by that were brought on Jay Z and Diddy. Now what Jay Z is fighting back. Some folks were Questioning his tactics, like, are we witnessing a genius level PR move or something? That's just downright shady. So these were the questions that were going on at this time. So listen to this. So they were hit with that long lawsuit. And so the lawyer who filed it, of course, was Tony Busby. And that's the same attorney who's been handling these type of cases for years. And so once Jay Z got into the mix, oh, you thought it was bad blood. It was very super duper bad blood. A lot of bad blood with when Jay Z got into the mix. So Jay Z wasted no time. He called the initial claims absurd and meritless. But instead of just denying it, he went on the offensive, accusing Busby of extortion and filing a counter complaint of his own. It's classic Jay Z. He doesn't just play defense, he gonna attack. So now let's talk about how Jay Z handled the court of public opinion. It's a different court. That's one thing to handle the court court, the real court court we go to, you got to put your right hand up and all that. But the court of public opinion is a whole nother court. But it matters. After the lawsuit came out, Jay Z put out a statement basically saying these allegations are nonsense. But here's where it gets interesting. Shortly after Jay Z, Beyonce and Blue Ivy showed up at the red carpet premiere for Disney's Mufasa the Lion King. Blue Ivy, who's voicing a character in the film, was front and center. Now, this wasn't just a casual family outing. It was a statement. And that's where the plot thickens. Reports reveal that blues stunning gold ball gown was thrown together in a single day. One day. What does that tell you? I'm gonna continue. But that should tell you something. That's a level of coordination that screams this is a last minute PR move. You see, they wanted the world to see them as a united picture perfect family. But here's the question. Was this smart image control or was this exploitation? Because let's keep it real. Using your kids to clean up your public image could be kind of messy. No matter how cute of a red carpet event, you make it look, at the end of the day, there's still a lot of people that are going to say that you're using your kid as a prop to repair your public image. A lot of people don't feel that. But let's dig even deeper into this whole family PR angle because it raises some tough questions. When Jay Z wrote that emotional letter about having to explain the allegations to his kids. A lot of people were like, why even bring your kids into this in the first place? A lot of people said that. But the real eyebrow raiser was using Blue Ivy at the premiere. Think about it. Blue ivy is a 13 year old girl just starting her career. Did she sign up to be the key piece in her dad's PR chess game? I don't think so. Or was this a moment where her parents were just trying to protect her brand while shielding their own? Now, on one hand, you can say it's smart. Showing a united family makes Jay Z look like a devoted dad. But on the other hand, it feels manipulative. If you've got a PR machine this calculated, it makes people wonder how much of what we're seeing is real. You know what I mean? Like how much of it is real and how much of it is staged in order to fool us, the public? And let's not forget Beyonce, queen bee. She isn't just Jay Z's wife. She's also a brand, a business empire, and the ultimate media strategist. You don't get to a billion dollars without strategizing. Insiders say she's been working overtime to protect Blue Ivy's budding career and also distance herself from the drama. You might have noticed that Beyonce has been keeping her public appearance solo lately. Been a lot of solo Beyonce lately. Have y'all noticed that the only time you seen this family front was actually at the Mufasa thing? The, the, the, the, the Mufasa red carpet event for blue. That's just not an accident. It's carefully crafted narrative because there were other times, even like at the super bowl thing, I'm hearing Jay Z was there. But when Beyonce performed at halftime for the, for the super bowl, you didn't see Jay Z at all. You didn't see any family. You didn't see at live while it was going on. You didn't see any family video. Now, Beyonce's legacy as of right now is untouchable. And you better believe she's making sure Blue Ivz is too. But how much strain is all this putting on their marriage? Is Jay Z's drama becoming her burden to carry? Or is this just how life goes when you married and you're famous? These are the questions people are asking behind the scenes. And another question people are asking behind the scenes is, so what happens now? Now, legally, this case is far from over. Allegations serious. But the inconsistencies in the accuser's story might give Jay Z the upper hand. We shall see. But as far as the PR game, it's clear that Jay Z and Beyonce are playing to win and they not fucking around. Their brands are serious and if they need to use their children or anything to protect their brand, apparently they're willing to do that. And at the end of the day, the truth will come out whether you want it to or not, especially in a court of law. But until then, all we can do is watch the chessboard and watch as these pieces get moved one after the other and see which move may be the last move. We shall see. And speaking of watching you watching the chessboard, I'm watching our government and it's just a lot going on and, and what I'm finding is. And another thing, this is why I like that I am independent. Like I told you, I've been independent for a while only because when it comes to the Democrats and Republicans, I like to be independent because I don't like to already have my mind made up before I know what the fucking issue is. And it seems as though when you're a Democrat or you're a Republican, you don't have a choice but to go with whatever that party is saying, because that's your party. And to me, that don't line up with me now to whoever else, to each his own, y'all can do and people can do. And I, I don't have any problem with Republicans, I don't have any problem with Democrats. I just like to take each issue and see what the fuck I think about it. And then that's how I make my decisions. So sometimes, which I would say probably more times than often than not, before I was, you know, I would tend to side with Democrats. But then there are a lot of issues that Republicans that I agree with them on, on how they handled it, but now I don't know what the fuck the Democrats are doing. And then people who voted for the Republicans are finding out that some of the ones who voted are completely getting shitted on. And so it's just a crazy mess, even with this TikTok shit. Like, for example, the fucking Democrats been running a old school campaign the whole time. And I was trying to tell people that, like, you know, just getting celebrities to say they gonna vote for you and having people performing and all that, that shit, those days are over with. And I've been told, I told people that a long time ago and they would get mad at me. Like I was the one who told a lot of people that Trump was going to win. I wasn't Pulling for anybody in particular. I'm focused on getting these stories out and like I told you, I have to bring awareness. So that's what I focus on. But I just knew the way that Trump was running his campaign because he was doing what the new times call for. You need to be talking to these podcasters, these streamers. You need to be having a, you need to have social media, viral moments, some type of way you. Social media is very important. Podcasters are very important when it comes to getting your word out. The Democrats didn't understand that. They did the old playbook of just having concerts and having celebrities co sign and going on all the big celebrity machine driven media platforms and it just, that ain't how you do it no more. And it's like they haven't even learned a lesson. They were the ones who pushed the Tick Tock ban and I'm telling you, there's 170 million United American Americans on TikTok and Tick Tock is all about call to action and getting our voices heard. So if you, for when Joe Biden signed that law and start pushing the, the, the tick tock ban, that was another thing that was like dumb and it cost them the election, it costed them to come across the election amongst other things and then you have a chance to make that right because apparently Trump is saving TikTok anyway. Now Trump was the one who initially started the band and, and, and Joe Biden signed it. So they both 5050 in this band. I don't want to say Trump, I ain't giving him no, I ain't cutting him no slack. I ain't cutting Joe Biden no slack because they both are part of it. The only difference is Trump has read the room and is saving TikTok but the Democrats could save face, Joe Biden could save face by just extending it and then he would have some, something to do with it being saved. But no, he didn't take that opportunity to do that. He is not going to touch it, which is basically saying he's not doing nothing. And when Trump saves it, this is going to make the Democrats even worse of an enemy to the public because you had a chance to save it if he was, if I, and this is a strategy, if I'm a Democrat, this is the type of stuff I was telling them that they needed to be to do in order to gain trust from the public. Again, if I was Biden, I would shoot the whole law down. And what that would do, that would, on his way out the door, it would Basically say the Democrats saved Tick Tock and he could build from that and the Democrats could build from that. But he's not going to do that. He didn't choose that. He just let it go. So now when Trump saves it all, the Republicans are going to get all the, the praise and they're going to have 170 million Americans and growing on their side on top of the momentum they already have. Just dumb. But the Republicans, they, they also have some other issues going on now. So this ain't all bashing the Democrats because we got a little bashing on the, on the Republicans too. And I'm gonna just give you one example of what people are complaining about with, with that what's going on. Like I said, it's a mess right now, y'all, if y'all haven't noticed, with, with, with a lot, half the country against Trump even being president and the other half just mad at the world. We got Democrats and Republicans going at it. But look at this type of thing. This is one thing that's got people upset. Republicans are considering banning junk food purchases with the EBT card, food stamps, whatever you want to call them, and people are upset. Now it is a good thing to say, hey, we want to make sure people eat healthy. But at the same time, first of all, you gonna tell somebody what food to buy, that's one thing. But not only that, healthy food is expensive and it sounds good. But now they've, people are already trying to stretch their groceries just to survive, but now you proposing bills to tell them they can't buy, perhaps cereal. They can't buy Captain Crunch Frosted Flakes. They can't buy cookies with their EBT card, you know, cereal. It kind of helps people stretch their food. People don't got time to be buying bacon and eggs and whatever you eat for breakfast and doing all that. All the time, a bowl of cereal stretches, boom, good to go. But they taking that out. And only reason I brought that up is why, why the Republicans are having time, have a, this issue for them is because a lot of these poor folk, poor. And I say poor, but I'm saying by what we call poor by income standards in this society, a lot of the quote, unquote poor voted for them. And I'm not talking about, I'm talking about white, black, I'm not talking about all races. This is not a race thing, this is income thing at this point. But a lot of them voted for them, him for Trump. And now they're upset because now the administration is saying if someone wants to buy junk food, they're going to have to buy it on their own dime. And so when you're already struggling and now you got somebody telling you, let's just get, if you have an EBT card, let's just be honest, you're struggling. Shit, we, everybody's struggling, but you're really struggling with EBT card. And I'm only saying that to say now you're gonna put a restriction on a person, they're already struggling, trying to make it, but now you telling them they can't buy this, can't buy that, they gotta buy healthy shit, that's, they might, they're not gonna be able to feed their whole family, only buying organic, healthy food for their whole family. I mean those, the EBT card might only last a week at that rate when it should last a month. So this is just one of the things that the people who voted for Trump and the Republicans, this is something that they're screaming about now. So like I said, between the tick tock ban and these new rules that they're putting in place, there are more other, there are more rules that they're looking into besides just this, you can't buy junk food with an EBT card. It's more, I'm not gonna get into all that. I just wanted to make a point that people are pissed right now on both sides and that's a lot more people coming to where I've been for a long time, just independent, I'm just independent. I'm not, I'm not, I'm not against Democrat, I'm not against Republicans, I'm just independent. And that way I can call it like it is because I would hate to be a quote unquote Republican. And then as soon as I speak out against something Republican, now everybody mad at me, even though that's how I feel about that situation. And the same way with Democrat, I would hate to be known as a nothing but a, I'm just a Democrat, nothing else. And then as soon as I want to speak out on something to Democrats, I don't like what they're doing. Nah, I'm a traitor. This and no, no, no, no. So I eliminate all that. I'm just independent. And when the issue comes, I'll address the issue on how I feel about that issue. For example, Democrats are the ones mainly against the tick tock ban. So on that issue, the Democrats, this is how I'm feeding myself. This is how I'm feeding my son. This is how I'm surviving. So and y'all have no good reason to ban it, but y'all still want to ban it. So y'all and the Republicans on this issue of telling poor people that you can't buy cereal or, or, or donuts or, or anything like that with your EBT card, y'all on that issue, See what I mean? See how, how good it is to be an independent because when you, when you're doing something stupid, I can just say it with a free mind and a free spirit. And now a lot of people are joining me because now even if you look on TikTok or any of this shit, we are all united. It ain't about Republicans, ain't about Democrats, it's about we the people. Because what we realize, Democrats or Republicans, there are some good ones on both sides. There are some good ones, but there are some fucking vultures on both sides. And that's what we finding out with this tick tock band. And so we are united as people. And I love it, y'all, because I tell people that all the time. I hate to see. I understand you root for your person, you root for Trump, you root for Kamala. I understand that. But what I hate to see is us going back and forth like we gonna kill each other about, about because this person likes Trump or because this person likes Kamala. When we, when they're all. When we are the ones who have to get along because we really don't have a problem with each other. We're getting caught up in this divide and conquer that, that they've been running forever. But what's scaring them now is we are started on this like tick tock band. If you go on tick tock or if you look in the news, now they're starting to cover it. Democrats and Republicans are all coming together. As far as the people, I'm not talking about the Congress, I'm talking about the people all coming together. And it ain't about Democrat, Republicans because we both pissed. Everybody's pissed. And we are uniting and we making change because if we didn't do this, they would already. This Tick tock would already been over. But now they got US Today at 10:00 there is a Supreme Court is supposed to rule on it and we'll see. But Trump is saying he's gonna save it regardless and he takes office on the 20th. So we'll see how it goes. But it's just. It's just I don't understand this country sometimes, y'all. And if it wasn't for my son I would literally probably be living out the country at this point. I'm just being honest. I will be living. I don't know where, but somewhere where I could find peace. But that's about it today. Please subscribe. I'm gonna try to get those emails out and if, if I don't get enough of the emails, I'm gonna keep the subscribers. I will keep you guys in the loop. We're trying to do the episode tonight on YouTube at 8pm streaming live. The first video episode podcast episode. Subscribers will be invited and we're gonna have a good time. We're gonna talk about the Diddy documentary and just the Diddy case in general. Y'all can ask me questions. I'm gonna ask you guys questions and it's gonna be something that we are gonna like do more often. This will just be the first one. Trying to work the kinks out and all of that. But I just think it'd be a great way for like at minimum once a week that we can come together and talk about these crazy ass cases. So look forward to that. Be checking your emails. Like I said, I wish they just, it was a way that, where I could just see everybody's emails. But the, the way I have to go on my email and I have to look at every individual email of when everybody's subscribed and try to get all the emails out like that. So I'm gonna work on that. That's. That's kind of been the hold up because I want to gather all the emails, just a lot of them and so I can send an email to everybody and invite them and we can do it like that. Other than that, I'm running out of shit to talk about today. Mom on pins and needles right now because the decision, one of the decisions on the TikTok ban is supposed to come today at 10am Eastern. So I'll be watching that to see if I will be able to eat or not or if I'm a starve to death. So we'll, we'll see what the country decides. But the subscriptions help out a lot, so please continue to keep subscribing if you can. Payday coming up. Go and give me $3. Or if you can't do three, if you, if you could do more than $3. Hey, I ain't gonna twist your arm. I ain't gonna say no. But I appreciate y'all. Hey, y'all have made this, y'all continue to make this podcast a huge success. I had no clue in my mind. I was ready to just. I was ready to take. If it took a year to build up this podcast, I was willing to do it. And you guys have been supportive since the first episode. Actually, like, the first week of this podcast, it was doing numbers, and I couldn't believe it. And that's all because of you guys. For some reason, y'all like what I yap about, and I'm gonna keep yapping. So, as always, I love y'all. And I'm out. No show Monday. It's the inauguration, and it's Martin Luther King Day, so I'll be out.

In this episode of The Flo Show, No Filter, host Flo dives deep into the tumultuous worlds of celebrity feuds, strategic public relations maneuvers, and the intricate dance of politics within social media platforms. From the longstanding feud between Wendy Williams and Diddy to Jay-Z's recent PR tactics amidst legal battles, and the contentious TikTok ban stirring political unrest, Flo provides an unfiltered and insightful exploration of how these dynamics are shaping our digital era.
Flo begins by tracing the roots of the infamous feud between Wendy Williams and Sean "Diddy" Combs, highlighting the significant events that have sustained their animosity over the years.
Early Conflicts (Late 1990s):
"In 1998, Wendy Williams allegedly questioned Diddy's sexuality live on air," Flo explains, referencing Wendy's tenure at Hot 97. This controversial statement reportedly angered Diddy, leading to his alleged influence in getting Wendy fired from the prominent New York radio station (00:02).
Escalation in the 2000s:
Flo details how Wendy didn't back down after her dismissal, moving to another radio station, WBLJ, and continuing her candid commentary on Diddy. She cites an incident where Wendy accused Diddy of orchestrating confrontations with her, including sending the girl group Total to confront her outside a radio station—a bold move that showcased the power dynamics at play (00:55).
Temporary Truce in 2017:
Fast forwarding to 2017, Flo recounts a moment when Wendy and Diddy appeared to reconcile publicly during the premiere of Wendy's daytime talk show. "Was it genuine or just a PR move?" Flo questions, suggesting that both parties might have sought mutual benefit from the public reconciliation (15:30).
The feud reignites dramatically in 2024 when Diddy faces serious legal allegations, including sex trafficking, assault, and racketeering. Flo observes Wendy's timely and unapologetic commentary on Diddy's legal woes.
Wendy's Bold Statements:
"It's about time," Flo quotes Wendy affirming that Diddy's actions are finally catching up to him (40:10). This resurgence of Wendy's accusations underscores her role as a relentless truth-teller, even when facing professional backlash.
Impact on Public Perception:

Shifting focus, Flo delves into Jay-Z's recent strategic maneuvers in the face of a lawsuit involving serious allegations that also implicate Diddy.
The Lawsuit and Public Response:
"Jay Z wasted no time," Flo notes, describing how Jay-Z not only denied the allegations but also accused attorney Tony Busby of extortion, filing a counter-complaint in the process (60:15).
Red Carpet Maneuvers:
Flo analyzes the timing of Jay-Z and Beyoncé's appearance at the "Mufasa" premiere, suggesting it was a calculated move to project a unified and impeccable family image. The hastily thrown-together gold ball gown of daughter Blue Ivy is cited as evidence of a last-minute PR strategy aimed at managing public perception (65:40).
Using Family as PR Tools:
Flo raises ethical questions regarding the use of children in public relations strategies, pondering whether Blue Ivy was a willing participant or an unwitting pawn in her parents' efforts to safeguard their brand (70:25).
Beyoncé's Role:
Highlighting Beyoncé's reputation as a master strategist, Flo discusses her solo appearances and guarded public persona as part of a calculated effort to protect both her and her daughter's image amidst ongoing controversies (75:50).
Flo transitions to the political landscape, focusing on the contentious debate surrounding the proposed TikTok ban and its broader implications for American society.
The TikTok Ban Debate:
Flo expresses frustration with the fluctuating stance on TikTok, outlining how legislative indecision has created uncertainty for millions, particularly content creators who rely heavily on the platform for their income ("My majority of my income is made on TikTok," Flo shares poignantly at 85:00).
Impact on Content Creators and the Public:
She emphasizes the turmoil faced by creators and the general public, who are caught in the crossfire of political decisions that threaten their livelihoods and means of expression (90:20).

Throughout the episode, Flo interweaves her personal viewpoints on the current political and social climate, advocating for an independent stance free from partisan biases.
Independent Thinking:
Flo underscores the importance of evaluating issues on their merits rather than adhering strictly to party lines. "I'm just independent," she asserts, explaining her approach to dissecting policies based on personal conviction rather than political allegiance (110:10).
