Admit if you've done this. When you're trying to make content and get big, you're like oh, this other person sucks. And look at all the followers they have. I'm so much better than this person. Why are they. They suck. This is bull crap.
I'm getting shadow banned. How many people have done that?
Real talk. Have looked at someone else or many other people in your genre. Beauty motivation. You're looking at everybody else and you're deploying envy and jealousy instead of humility and accountability. Real talk. If somebody has millions of followers and you don they're better at you in this game. This is sports y'.

This is Sports. If you lose 11 to 4 in a one on one basketball game, do you say I'm better than them? If you lose 6262 in a set of tennis, do you shake their hand at the net? Look at everybody around you and be like I'm better. That was just, you know, do you do that? This is sports and content creation land.

Who's got a question?
Matthew Nureyeah Raghav, who's got it?
Audience Member
Yes, Gary, Danielle wants to know one non negotiable habit of yours, kindness.
Gary Vaynerchuk
The one non negotiable, non negotiable habit I have is to lead with kindness, to be kind, to love my fellow man and woman regardless of anything. Definitely the bullshit that the world has bought into. Gender, religious, race, credence, income, age, all the bullshit, all the fucking bullshit all of you have bought into because politicians and others have weaponized fear on your punk asses. So that is my one non negotiable. I just do not know how not to lead with it. I don't understand it. I am not scared of people. So many people on this live right now fear people.
Trust is earned.
Fuck that shit. Trust is given by me. You have to earn your way out and honestly for me you gotta do a lot of things to get out of there. I'm not a one, I'm a baseball boy, Cord. I'm a baseball boy. There's no one strike you're out with me. I know many people that are a one strike, you're out individual. They are grounded in deep insecurities and lack of self esteem. That's why they do that. They're scared of people hurting their feelings, their judgment on them, how they make them feel. And that is where I'm at Savage.
Thank you for joining Renee's Brains.
Thank you for joining Georgia Peach.

It real as fuck and we keep it real kind. And that's where we're at. Next question Ruth asked.
Ruth.
I love a good Ruth.

What's the most underpriced skill creators should be building right now that almost no one is taking seriously?
Gary Vaynerchuk
And why is that most underrated skill.
That creators should be taking right now that most people are not talking about Live shopping to become a live shopping host. Let me show you how to do it. Even though Eliza Bellaway, who I love so much, has already bought the kids.
Book, who here, let me show you a skill all of you should learn. Who here is a super aunt? Not like an aunt, like a countable.
Aunt, but you're an auntie.
You have nieces and nephews. Who here is a remarkable uncle?
I'm a very good uncle by the way.
Who here is a great aunt or an uncle who's a grandma or grandpa or who's a parent that is a.

Yeah, right now. And I see Sirica sir CEO picked up my book on how to get better at content. Ironically, this book is the answer to Ruth's question that's also in the store. That's on your bottom left hand corner. If you hit the shopping bag, everything's in the store. Grab this right now and be the greatest parent, uncle, niece, nephew ever. Promise, promise, promise.
That's a skill that people need to learn. How to use AI. Sora2 how to use all those. If you're a creator. How to use AI.
The number one skill creators need to.
Learn is humility and patience. HP is not for Hewlett Packer. HP is for humility and patience. An incredible lack of skill in the community of creators. So many people give up too soon. So many people give up too soon.
Christine, thank you for viewing the product.
All of you, thank you. Who's looking at the gdg?
Thank you for viewing the product in the store. When you're live, you can actually see.

Can you retouch on humility and patience for creators?
Gary Vaynerchuk
The biggest issue for creators is they don't have humility and patience so they give up. They don't have humility, so they're worried about other people's opinions. When you're humble, you are immune to gossip. You're immune to jealousy, you're immune to envy. You're immune to these outside forces that I would argue dictate 95% of people's lives. And so when you're humble, for example, yee haw.
I'm a cowboy. Everybody please Go to the bottom, right and start doing all the weird stuff on TikTok that I like so much. I will interact with it.
But everybody, I'm telling all of you, many of you, many of you, thank you so much. It's Coach Lance forgetting that for your three year old. Oh, he got it for $7.89. He had some coupons. Many of you have this very big flaw called audacity. Matthew, do you know many people say things like I'm posting all this great stuff but nobody gets me or I'm shadowed, banned or the algorithm screwing me. You know, I, on the other hand, as you all know, say we sucked for 18 months.
That's a very big difference. I'm like at the top of the game and I'm talking about like, we stink.
I stink.
We've got to get better.
We suck.
I suck as a leader. I suck. You suck. We suck. I suck.
I suck. Humility.
Other people are like, you know, the algorithm screwing me. I'm making great stuff. Look at, let's go into admitting hour right now. I need all864 of you admit if you've done this when you're trying to make content and get big, you're like, oh, this other person sucks. And look at all the followers they have. I'm so much better than this person. Why are they. They suck. This is bull crap. I'm getting shadow banned. How many people have done that? Real talk. Have looked at someone else or many other people in your genre, beauty, motivation, whatever, and you. Yeah, thank you, sidequest queen. You're looking at everybody else and you're deploying envy and jealousy instead of humility and accountability. Real talk. If somebody has millions of followers and you don't and they're better at you in this game. This is sports, y'.
All.
This is sports. If you lose 11 to 4 in a one on one basketball game, do you say I'm better than them? If you lose 6262 in a set of tennis, do you shake their hand at the net? Look at everybody around you and be like, I'm better. That was just, you know, do you do that? This is sports and content creation land. Also back to patience train. If you take up archery, archery, do you just expect to be Olympic level archer on your first time? There's people that have been put in. Have not been put in the reps. They've not put in the reps. By the way, nobody is Shadow banned. Like 99.999999. Nobody Shadow banned. You just suck your Content sucks. It's not hitting. Sama, great to see you in here. Rat Rap.
Great to see you in here.

The grind culture. Thank you for picking up meet me in the middle. Literally. If you do not buy this for your kid right now in the next 30 seconds your kid will not be successful in life. I don't know if you know this. It's very weird. It's this new superstition. If you do not buy this book in the next 30 seconds here on TikTok, your child will not be successful.
I'm joking. Maybe not.
Kelly C. Thank you for picking up the book. New Zealand native. Thank you. Yeehaw. Migs, thank you so much for that Nice comment. You don't need to send gifts. They're like.0003 cents. I'm showing you on the bottom right.

I love showing people the thing that.
You should be doing.
You don't listen. Friends, you don't need to buy anything.
Let me make my official statement on this forever. No one ever has to buy anything from me. Not the wine my daddy sells.
Not this incredible Pokemon like Marvel World I'm building called Vee.
Friends, you don't need to hire VaynerMedia. You don't need to hire me as a public speaker. You don't need to send your kid to vaynersports to join our agency. You don't need to eat at Little Maven or Fly Fish Club or capons in New Jersey in my restaurant group. All I want you to do is watch how I'm building a business. Watch how I'm bringing value. Watch how I am selling things that I believe are worth it and replicate that.
Dinever48 says garage sale boy.
And you're absolutely right. You're absolutely right. My favorite thing, My favorite thing is for people that know me as like that guy that yells on the Internet or garage sale boy when they actually do homework and realize who I actually am as a businessman, I'm happy about that because I hope it inspires people to live their full life to who they are and do what they want.
You know what I want? I want to find macho man Randy.
Savage mugs at garage sales for 25 cents and flip them for nine bucks. That's more exciting than the $8 million deal we just closed at VaynerMedia today. All right, Bobby. Bobby, good to see you. Chumbler. Good to see you. All right, let's keep it going.

Augusto asks, how do you decide when you should change your content strategy? Say you decide to stop asking or start recording your day 24 7. What factors do you take into consideration?
Gary Vaynerchuk
When I stop?
Audience Member
When you stop or start, you shows things.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Pure intuition.
And what curiosity. Like, as you know, all of you know. Here's a little preview to everybody on here. I'm getting serious about podcasts. We are gonna come out guns.
A blazing pew, pew, pew.
I don't even know what that was. Pew, pew, pew. Lasers. What am I, a robot? You know, I've just been thinking about it for a year and now we're gonna do it, you know, live streaming in the Morning with T withGaryVee like this.
You know, I just go with intuition. I go with what excites me.
I go with what I feel. I go with what I want. I live a human life. I do not live an academic life. I do not live a guru told me life. I live a what's in my gut.
How do I feel?
What do I want to do? I'm a creator, I'm a builder. I'm deeply curious. I'm deeply creative, I'm deeply operational. All these things have serviced me well in the many businesses that I built. But more importantly, in the great joy that I've had for three decades.
My 20s, 30s and 40s were all.
Phenomenally exciting and happy for me. Plenty adversities, plenty things I would tweak here and there. But I sit here Today as a 50 year old man, super thrilled with nothing but hunger, excitement and ambition for my next 50 years. And I've done that on purely listening to myself. They tell athletes, listen to your body, right? I listen to my body. I listen to my soul. I'm super in with myself. It's me and me, me and I myself with me. I'm in that place. No outside force matters. And that's how I make those decisions. Raghav.
Lauren, thank you for the comment. Alina.
J.
Man, let me thank everybody. Who's picking up the kids book is red hot, right? Is it kids book bit?
Is that the one that's pinned?
I just want to thank Catherine Pina. Take a Test drive automotive studio Ox oio, Archie, Lex. Thank you all for buying kids book.
A lot of people are buying this for under 10 bucks. Like all these different coupons. Where do people get coupons?
Audience Member

Gary Vaynerchuk
In the top left corner there's like, looks like a little coupon or a note.
Audience Member
It's like a percentage thing.
Gary Vaynerchuk

Alright, let's keep it going. That's the next question.
If you have a question, ask it in the chat.

G Alex asks, what's the biggest. What was the biggest turning point for you in your life? Not a business standpoint, but more personally.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I would say the biggest turning point in my life. I mean, the biggest turning point in my life. I don't remember which was. I was born in the Soviet Union, which is a shithole and a terrible place to be. More similar to North Korea than any other part of the world right now. And the turning point was I was able to get out because Russia and America made this trade and a couple hundred thousand Russians were able to get the fuck out. And that is the great lottery ticket of my life. That's the turning point in my life. But I don't remember it.
Remembering the turning point of my life.
Probably when I fought Oded Weinstock in second grade. It was the first time I fought. There was a lot of pressure. I went to Martin Luther King elementary School on the wrong side of the tracks at Edison, New Jersey, you know, oded tried to punk me. We fought, I won. And I think that when I was 7 or 8, that's when I became a man. I think more kids should fight. I'm not kidding about that. I know people are like, what? I know modern parenting is not on that kick but that was a very big turning point for me because I had to make a decision like was I going to be someone who was gonna get pushed around and punked or was I gonna fight back? And you know, that was a. I think a lot of men specifically aren't. Yee haw. Aren't challenged these days enough to make those decisions and come out soft and insecure and not that fighting's the answer, but like whether it's sports, whether, you.
Know, the number one thing is parents.
Have to get out of kids business. Parents had a little bit of a better balance. Look, I don't think like parents like I love that parents are in kids stuff now. So many of us grew up with dads not around at all. I like many of the things but I think we over corrected and I.
Think parents need to get out of kids businesses. If you're a parent that fights your.
Fights for your child then you're gonna be a parent that fights your fights for your children when they're adults. And that's a problem. Anybody right now who's watching. If you're deeply involved in your 25 year old's life, paying for them constantly taking like it's a problem, It's a problem. It's hard because we love these. I have a 16 and 13 year old. I've just been living through it. I'm living through it.
You love these people more than you love yourself.
You'll die for your children, right? But you can't fight your kids fights. And the turning point in my life was winning that fight. I also fought, by the way. Me and Oded Weinstock were like lean Frazier. We fought three times. We fought four times actually.
The third time was a full day fight. I won in second and third grade.
Because I was on some tenacious shit.
In sixth grade he punked me good. It was a snow day.
We had to be in pre homeroom in the hallway.
I ran my mouth on him because he knew nothing about sports. I like to claim I turned around and he pushed me into the locker.
Room and the locker combo hit me in the ribs. And then he got on top of me before the teachers broke it up.
Truth is if I'm keeping it Real.
I think I kind of rewrote history there. He like punked me in the morning.
Whole school's talking about it. Oded beat up Gary. I don't know if you've ever been a sixth grade boy in the lower income areas of New Jersey, but when your whole school is talking shit that you lost a fight in the morning, you. You were at the crossroads of your life. I've never been at the crossroads of my life like that before or since. I fucking out of like a fucking 1980s movie, stood up in fucking lunch, walked over to him and said, after school on Marcos Hill by the ice cream truck. This is real. If you grew up in Edison, New Jersey, during this time, confirm it. Marcos Hill, where the ice cream truck was right outside of John Adams Middle School in Edison, New Jersey. And fucking we fought and he was winning early.
And I got lucky. I'm happy to admit it.
He was on top of me, throwing fucking haymakers. He was twice my size at this.
Point, at least 50% bigger.
I'm getting very fortunate. Nothing's really landing. I'm like, I'm laying there with ODED on top of me, fucking 50, 100 kids around, and I'm like, this is fucking it. This is fucking it. This is it. And Raghav, I'm rocking. Cause I was very scrappy as a kid. Like, wrestled a lot.
Like, even though I didn't do anything.
Official, it was just backyard fucking. And I'm fucking rocking. And somehow by the graces of fucking God, I get ODed off of me.
And then the moment of my life happened.
I throw a right on the ground. We're both on the ground. I throw a right and kick.
And I fucking kick, kick.
And my fucking foot hit oded Weinstock.
Directly in the fucking mouth.
Kind of looked like I might have hit him. No one really knew it. We both are like. We kind of get back up and.
It'S like the moment of re engagement and the dude is bleeding heavy.
And Tyler Bunting, may he rest in peace, was there Max Thomas. That was his little crew, also my friends, but they were skewed it.
And ODed was a little shook, a little embarrassed and ran off. And that was it. Fucking greatest moment of my fucking life. And it's not even close. Thank you, Carnivore.
That was it, man. That was it. And again, if you know anybody that went to Edison, New Jersey in the mid-80s, hit them up.
They will validate. They will validate. It was a big moment.
I came into school the next day all four foot fucking four of me.
Feeling six, seven, fucking like a male fucking model.
I think the girls paid attention.
That was it.
So I don't even know how we.
Got there, but that is what happened. All right, let's keep it going, so.

Yet they're hesitating on the Apple pay, motherfucker.

But if you can afford it, don't be a bitch.

Maybe they're stacking the coupons.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Oh, they might be stacking coupons. Everybody, top left corner.
If you want to steal everything in the shop.
All right, let's keep it going. Who's got a question.
Audience Member
Garrett Jett asks?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Jet?
Audience Member
Yes.
Gary Vaynerchuk
All right. I love this person.
Audience Member
Maybe he's playing on a football team. I don't know if that's their real name. You've lived in New York City for, what, decades?
Gary Vaynerchuk
More than half my life.
Audience Member
Yep. He's curious. What about New York? Draws you here, keeps you here.
Gary Vaynerchuk
There's no city like this for a maniac like me. You know, some people, you know, maybe I'm in this. In this room. They need the woods. They like that rural life. They like that quiet. I'm the reverse. I sleep with a sound machine. Like. Like heavy, loud, white noise. I need the action. I need the stimulation. I'm at peace when it's chaotic, you know? You guys know what my office normally looks like?
I cleaned it up a little bit.
For New Year, but, like, by the end of this year, it will have all sorts of stuff. I need all sorts of the stimulation. I am in my most calm, most calm when I am around noise and chaos. Coming out of a meeting at 11:30 at night. 11:30 at night. Have you been in LA at 11:30 at night. Or Chicago or San Francisco or Boston. These are big cities. They're sleepy. You're fucking sleepy.
New York City feels like it hasn't even started.
Feels like the next chapter is about to start. Like, I just need that. I need that, like, savagery. And I love it. And I love it. So somebody said, what do you think about Mandani? I don't think about any politician. Let me just make something while I got a thousand of you new here. If you think about politicians really actually affecting your life, that's not it. Friends. Here's why.
If you fully disagree with the president.
The governor, the mayor, if you fully disagree, you're in charge.
Move.
You can all move. So anyway, yeah, first Rogue.
I mean, I love the comic book nerds here. They know this is no joke, y'.
All.
This is no joke. Friends, comic books are next. We've had a huge run for trading cards.
We've had a huge run, and I think comic books are going to have a monumental run. I'm very bullish, and I'm very. About that life. All right, let's keep it going.
Audience Member
While I have one. What's your most value in your friends?
Gary Vaynerchuk
What's that?
Audience Member
What do you most value in your friends?
Gary Vaynerchuk
What do I most value in my friends? Lightness. My best friend, Brandon Warnicke, is light. He does not use me as his therapist, but he's authentic enough to me. When I know I need to step up and be there for him, he's always ready to be there for me emotionally. We share interests, but I really enjoy lightness. Right. I think that so many people are bad friends to their friends. They use them for financial or emotional needs. And so I have a lot of friends that need me in that capacity. And I'm friendly with them. They are my friends, but they're not as deep as the friends that are just light. My chosen family, the people I giggle with, the people I support if they need it and support me if I need it, but I think you have to be very. Thank you, JoJo. Eight, eight, eight, eight. That's very kind of you. I think you need to be thoughtful about who you. You know, in a world where you can't choose your family, you've got to really choose your friends. And you need to be very thoughtful if you're not deploying your own bad behavior on your friends. Are you an innate. Like, I have to watch out if I'm an enabler financially and emotionally to my friends, but I also have to pay Attention. If my friends are leechy, you know, and not even with bad intent friends. So many people that make mistakes in life don't have bad intent. They can't even see it. I don't get mad at people. I don't feel like they can see it. You know? Have I ever had Skyline chili? Of course. What do you think of it? A maniac. I mean, that's in Cincinnati, right? I've gone to a bunch of Jets Bengal games. So let's keep going.
Audience Member
How do you think that people are bad friends without realizing it.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I feel like people how do I feel like people are bad friends without realizing it?
Because I think every one of us.
In this chat right now, all,016, all five of you and me, all of us, all 10, 22 of us right now, can't see something within ourselves right this minute. And I have the beauty of having the gray hairs. Thus I've found things along the way that all of you have not found yet.
So how can I be a hypocrite.
And be mad at someone who can't see something when I myself, who has incredible little Elvis, when I myself have so many incredible talents of self awareness and intuition and all these emotional gifts, and I myself continue to learn things about me that are weaknesses and strengths? How do I have the hypocrisy to judge another man or woman when I myself have shortcomings?
How do I have the audacity to.
To believe that everybody on earth should.
See the world exactly the way I.
See it, politically or socially, when every one of us has been groomed and birthed into different scenarios, circumstances, parts of the world, nature's nurtures. That's how.
Audience Member
Brother, how did you deal with a friend? When a friend of yours starts, like, for example, whining about something in particular, like, for example, a breakup, and they just keep talking about it, about it, complaining.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yeah. Historically, the way I've dealt with somebody who has sustained bad behavior is I've walked away.
Audience Member
Oh, yeah?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Oh, yeah.
Audience Member
You don't face like, hey, you're being like this.
Gary Vaynerchuk
You know, this. I talk all the time about my candor being a weakness in the face of bad behavior. In my teens, 20s, 30s, and 40s, I would walk away unless it was like my core best friends or family. With my. With my family, I would argue that I was too much of an enabler. But then with my father, I think I found a way of, like, being more canderous because I hit a tipping point. And then that started to change my behavior. And so, you know, Like, I'm trying to get better of, like, you know, now as a public figure, I talk about complaining as one of my biggest, like, I am sure of it. Everybody, if you're just joining, like, especially Jay Ashley, MK Quest, deals and dimes, everybody who just joined, right, Lagish, RK Boggy, all of you that just joined.
I promise you the number one thing.
That'S fucking you up is your complaining.
You are in control where you live, what country you live in, what city, what town, what job you have everything.
You're in control.
But Gary, you don't get it. I don't have the money. You can figure it out. You can apply to 100 other jobs.
You can stop wasting money on clothes and travel and video games. And you don't need four streaming services.
Like, you're fully in control of everything.
You know. That's it. Look at Ahsoka Said. You made me feel like I have confidence. This is the point. The more you suffocate people and the.
More you let people in embrace their shortcomings, the more confident they become.
Gerald says talk about Garland. Excuse me, says talk about originality.
Originality is the easiest conversation on earth. Everyone's searching for it to break out on social when the answer is just being your full self. I'm original because I'm a businessman who.
Has hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of.
Millions of dollars in revenue across is.
Eight companies and I make content about.
Garage sales and I sit and go on streams like this in the morning. Like, I'm original because I'm fully me and I'm a Jets fan and I'm into comics and collectibles and I'm into wine. I'm heavy into wine. Who's into wine here?
And where do you buy your wine?
I'm heavy into wine. I'm heavy into sports. I'm heavy into nerd culture and comics and action figures. I'm heavy into marketing. I'm heavy into mindset. I'm fully myself. Originality is easy if you're not scared to be judged. Coach Curtis, thank you so much for buying the book, everybody. This book will change your entire social media life.
I'm into Funkos. Nathan, go look at Veefriend's Funkos on the auction sites. Ahsoka nwa thank you. We're all one of ones.
You're absolutely right.
Matt McCormick, M. Pickett, Jay Blitz, thank you for joining.
Ooh, Pink Flamingo. Thank you for looking at the shirts.
And the hoodies in the store. How crazy are those Lister hoodies and.
Shirts Bottom left corner.
Everybody hit the shopping bag.
Top left corner, hit the coupons. Bottom right corner, hit the gift basket and do all the stuff and join the fan club. Bottom right corner.
Does the fan club cost money? It's like a hundredth of a cent. It's like a fraction of a cent, right?
Everybody join the fan club. Bottom right corner. How do I make it as a.
Music artist in 2026? Capra? By posting unlimited content on social media. Jurassic Parks. What's good with you? It's great to see you talk about saturation online. We haven't even started with saturation with AI content coming.
Supply and demand is not up to you. Supply and demand is not up to you. How much content everybody else makes.
How much music everybody else makes.
How many books everybody. Your competition is not in your control. Gary, have you ever shit your pants?
No.
B. Yeah, but close.
Many times. I've been close, but I haven't. But I know people who have. I also never got drunk.
Like, most people I know that shit.
Their pants were pass out drunk. So anyway, let's keep it going.
Audience Member
G, to your point on friendships, something I think a lot of people are struggling with right now is maintaining and building friendships after school or after college, for example.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Get the fuck off the phone. Be accountable.
I don't have friends. Maybe if you didn't fucking lay on your couch from 6pm to 3 in the morning jerking off, like, you could go find a friend. Like, get your ass up. What do you fucking want from me? Lean into your hobbies. Like, stop being scared of rejection. You're out of middle school. Someone doesn't like you, good, they're lost. You are great. You're not a piece of shit. Cause people don't like you. They don't like you. Cause they're also insecure. I like everyone. I fucking love everyone. You come to me, I've taken in friends. Like the insecure of the insecure. I had two friends in college named Hanky and Spanky. They were fucking called Hanky and Spanky. Nobody was fucking with them. I brought those motherfuckers in. You know why? Cause I'm nice. Cause I love if people reject you. They fucking suck. Not you, by the way, literally, his name was Hank and the other kid's nickname was Spanky.
And you think you know why we called him Spanky?
We caught him early. Kids, you know, and so like, come.
On, guys.
Come on, stop being scared. If you were rejected, you were rejected by the weak. If you are rejected, you are rejected by the weak.
If you are rejected. You are rejected by the weak. Put yourself out there. Put your. Put yourself out there. Put yourself out there. Uribe says aha moment. 165789. Uribe's been hanging out here.
Uribe, I want to see your Vee friends collection.
Get up.
The moment's now.
You see what's going on in NFTs and comics and cards.
Albert Kura thank you for picking up the book. Karina curse thank you for picking up the book. Devin Webb thank you for picking up the book. Black gold sports card.
I love that channel.
Everybody. If you want the details of how to break out on social this book is bananas. I wrote it, I'm proud of it. It's deep. Now if you're like me, do not.
Buy the book because you do not have good reading comprehension and this will.
Not help you get the audiobook. If you're like me and don't listen to audiobooks either.
Don't get either.
Alright, let's keep it going. Ooh, Devin Webb did get the fucking Lister T shirt. These T shirts in the store. Epic. Devin, please send out an Instagram post with you wearing that or a Twitter.
I'm gonna share it.
Devin Webb Nice pickup. Bottom left corner is the store. Top left corner is the coupons.
Onyx.
I see you looking at the book right now. Big Olric. I see you looking at the book right now.
Stephanie Ramsey thank you for picking up the book right now.
Next question on T with Gary Vee.
Audience Member
Quick question on the books you've been a best seller for.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I'm one of the great New York Times. I'm one of the great New York.
Times best sellers on earth. There are very few people that have had more than five. I am one of them. That's who I am. Go ahead.
Audience Member
You've been big on these books for all these years. What is it about the book format?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Is it just people read them? Matthew. I don't read them but Pete, you read books good. Naraya. Yeah. Charlie Little something. One a year. No, you don't have to. I don't. One a year. One a year train.
Two a year.
Court. Yes.
Ragh who in the chat reads books?
That's why I write them.
That's why I livestream.
That's why I make podcasts. That's why social media content my ass off. That's why I do LinkedIn written. That's why I do podcasts. Audio. That's why I do short form video. That's why I do long form video on YouTube.
I don't get to judge how or.
Where or what people like to consume. I just produce the best content I can in the formats, and I try to be contextual to the formats, and that's what I do. That's what I do.
Kay Forbes, thank you for picking up the business book. Jesse Humpston picked up the comic. Can we pin a comic? Can you go grab a comic from over there?
There's probably one. Do we have a comic in the.
Store that you can pin?
Yes.
Audience Member
Comic 8.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Comic 8. Which comic is that again? Gary B. Ooh, Gary B.
What's that?
Oh, kind word.
We don't have that in the store, right?
Audience Member
No, but we do have motivated monster and heart.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Kind warrior was a good book.
Friends. I am developing this world in a real way. By the way, we want to talk.
About a comic that I want every parent to read to their sons and daughters, for that matter. But obviously, he's a dude. The kind warrior. Kindness is the ultimate strength, y'. All. Kindness is the ultimate strength.
Audience Member
Devin Webb just picked up the Adamuster hoodie, too.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I saw.
Oh, the hoodie, too.
Devin, let's go. You're gonna look fresh and fly. Laura Winward picked up a book. All right, let's go. Let's go to the next one.
Audience Member
G. Michael had a question to your point on podcasts.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Okay.
Audience Member
You were bullish on them, like, early. What did you see? Was that intuition or what did you see?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I have pattern recognition intuition. Here's what I'm good at. You know, my report card probably by now. Matthew, it's probably bad at everything. Good at history by my standards. Bs and Cs, which were phenomenal for me. I know the television was shit on when it came out. I don't know what else to tell y'. All. I know that people thought the television was a fad. Stupid. Gonna ruin society the worst. Like Talas. I have not bought the jets yet. I just am very good at understanding where things are going because I'm good at understanding where things were. And I put in a lot of work and research and put in the reps to watch society navigate. I knew that in 2002, online dating was taboo, and I knew by 2015 everyone would do it because we like convenience.
Why do I think comics are going to happen?
Because comics have happened before.
Comics are a great format.
This is Gary Vee, y'. All. This is such a good comic. It's in the store. Is this in the store? This is my favorite. That's pinned, everybody.
This is pinned. Do not Buy this for your kids.
This is adult audiences.
Literally, a brother pisses on his brother in this comic. This is for grown ups. So.
Let'S keep it going.
Audience Member
Dalton Thompson just picked up a blaster box.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Let's go.
Dalton picked up a whole box of vee friends.
Dalton, did you go on ebay to see the prices? It's big.
Big perk.
Big perk picked up.
And again, I'm gonna share this with you guys.
I've been doing my show, bringing back.
There we go. There's the bae.
I've been doing my show, answering your questions. Many of you have watched tea with.
GaryVee during COVID when I did it on other platforms.
Here I'm mixing what I call commerce tainment. I'm giving you entertainment, but there's an element of Commerce. We've sold $1,400 worth of stuff in.
The last 50 minutes. I want you to do this. I want you to do this. I want you to learn how to do this. The pins. Who collects Disney pins? Look, there's that box. All right, let's keep it going.
Audience Member
Leonard asks, what's a good way to approach online shopping? Selling. If your audience isn't used to seeing you overtly sell, do you ease into it or you just start big?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Hey, everybody. Hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast.
That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy.
I just think you go TikTok, shop live, you just do what I'm doing here or you become a TikTok affiliate and you make content. Everybody, every single one of you, all 1,000 of you, need to Google and chatgpt or search within TikTok. How do I become a TikTok affiliate? This is where you use your TikTok account to request a free item from.
Someone like this book.
They look at your account. Even if you have 100 followers, they.
Might like the way you look like.
I might be wanting to reach 40.
Year old Asian women with my book.
A 45 year old Asian woman may.
Go into TikTok affiliate to request this book to make a piece of content.
She might have 80 followers. But I know followers don't matter anymore.
With content can be seen.
She might request it. We as a company might ship this to her for free.
Now if you don't post it, you get banned. So you gotta keep that in mind.
And she makes a video and for some unknown reason, God decides to bless this Piece of content. She has 80 followers and it gets 10,000 and we sell 913 of these books. She makes paper. How many people in this room right now have made money being a TikTok affiliate? Not live QVC shopping like I'm doing, but making a piece of content that sold stuff that people that you made money on.
Look, Alexandra, real estate broke. I have fishing factor. I me Rob.
Look how many people have done it. And a lot of people that have said me are not going hard because they did two pieces, 10 pieces of content and they only made 54 bucks. They don't realize they're one viral piece.
Of content away from making 10,000 bucks.
So again, I think people just need to try it or they go live here and set up a shop like.
I do right now.
Unfiltered abundance.
Just bought this book. What's pinned right now.
Like it's right here.
You go live.
You bring value of one item that's.
Pinned and people buy it.
Big perk Mars Funky Town comics and vinyl picked up a book. Thank you so much. Funky Town.
Of course. Uribe. Let's keep it going. Go ahead, Matthew.
Audience Member
Jeff asks, did you see ChatGPT rolling out advertisements?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Of course I saw that.
Audience Member
What are your thoughts?
Gary Vaynerchuk
It was inevitable. I talked about yes, brands are definitely gonna buy on. It's the new Google search. It's gonna be a huge business. I like that. Sam Altman a year ago said they weren't gonna do it and then they did it. That's funny. But other than that, like of course that was gonna happen. Our attention is on these chatbots. You're all using it? Yes.
Who's using ChatGPT now instead of what.
They would use Google for two years ago? Say in the chat. Say ChatGPT in the chat. Right. Of course ads are gonna come there. Ads will always show up where there is attention that's just a part of life and that's good. And good news. You don't need to click the ads if you don't like it.
Can we stop? Wah wah. I don't want these ads. Ads don't bother me for shit. I give them no attention even though.
I'm in the business of making and selling them.
And by the way, I give them no attention. And sometimes ads get me because they.
Did a good job.
What are you crying about? Why are you all wawas? Jason Comer Queen Abger, Melissa Ray behind the music Brian FX, Mikey Evans King Butler, Shingo, Yuza, Turbo FTW, Dean Bees 316 friends let's not wah wah. You're not wawas. Right? Karla Nicklaus, who's not a Wawa and who is a Wa, by the way? All of you are Wawas because your mommy let you become a Wawa. But now you're grown, you're in charge of your wawa. Do we have the kids book? Because who here has a kid between 3 and 6 years old? Say, 36 in the chat. You have a kid between 3 and 6. Put 36 in the chat. Put 36 in the chat. Put 36 in the chat. All of you, if you're a niece, if you have a niece or nephew, if you want to be a super aunt or uncle first, everybody, right now go to the top left corner and hit the coupons. There's that little piece of paper. Click it. There's so many coupons, but I'm pinning this book right now.
You pinned it.
I'm telling you, you need to get this book. It's a monster. If you're in the chat. If you're in the chat and you have this book and your kid loves it. Tell the rest of the chat. Cause the chat. There we go. Thank you, Rebae. My daughter loved it. This book is killing it. Let's go, Maddie McCormick, get one for the kids.
All right, let's keep it going. One more question. Gee.
Audience Member
To that point, should small business or creators experiment with ChatGPT ads versus Google?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Of course.
But ready for this, Matthew? Every question ready.
I'm gonna change everyone's life right now. The answer to every debate is maybe with a tilt to yes, my friends. Every debate of anything that's positive, like, should I do crack cocaine? I would go with no on that one.
That's not a maybe.
Yes, but anything that on paper has.
Brought positivity to someone else.
Should I go hiking? Should I start working out? Should I eat better? You know, like, all that, you know. You know it is. Maybe everything should be met with a maybe with a tilt to yes. Creativity.
Overlook.
1, 2, 7. Holy shit. You changed my life. You are very welcome. Right, Rita?
Sleep better?
Good. Maybe to the yeah. Like brother. Everybody. Everybody needs to understand this. When met with an opportunity, do not lean into no. Because you're scared to fail, which is what you're all doing. Rico, a dog and his beast. The Gruber app. Please don't do that. Please don't do that. All right, all right. Please. Solo says you've 100% changed the way I think about business. Thank you, Solo. Fear is fake. You know it. Great. Rich. I'm glad the FYP brought me here. Thank you. Carla Mina, author, I'm glad you're here. Melissa Wright, great to see you. I love all of you here.
Thank you.
I'm gonna be doing a ton of these.
Everybody right now, top left corner.
You see my little face, Click my face and hit follow. But more importantly, hit the bell. How many people came to this show from the notification? How many people came to this show from the notification? Say notification in the chat. This is how you do it.
If you just hit the top left corner in my face.
Yes, follow. But more importantly, hit the bell. As soon as you hit the bell, say, I belled you.
I want all of you to say that you belled me. Say, I belled you. All new friends, if you just did that, say I belled you. Because I know a lot of you fyped. Thank you, Deb Nye for belling me. Thank you, Jen Conley for belling me. TP birds, thank you for belling me. Alina, thank you for belling me. Pete, thank you for belling me. Thank you, Butterfly for Zachary. Thank you for belling me. The punchline. GGs. Thank you for belly me.
