And that's just how life works. All right, let's get into questions. Who's got the first one?
Matthew
Gee, we had one last time that we didn't get to. Toward the end someone had asked, did you ever feel discouraged starting out in your career and how did you work through that?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I've not been discouraged in two places in my life. Random competitions, backyard football, backyard basketball, board games, you know, just like. And business. There's two arenas where I don't get discouraged because I enjoy the process of figuring it out. I like the micro losing, I expect the adversity. I think in life I figured out pretty early that if you're gonna win, you have to fight. And I do not know why. Somewhere along the line we just lost that narrative. Everybody in the chat, all 700 of you, double click. By the way, everyone, all 700 of you, what's your opinion on this? Please leave a comment right now. Do you believe over the last 20 years, somewhere along the way we lost this concept that you have to fight to win. There's been this kind of thought that it should an entitlement, it should come easy. There's this weird concept Matthew team that's here with me. There's this weird concept that incredible wealth and happiness and joy and ease isn't something you massively fight for. I don't know. I feel like I don't know. When I was little it was just like you didn't think you were gonna be rich and famous. You thought that that would be something really impossible and hard to fight for. And I think we've lost that. And so no, I didn't get discouraged. I'm never discouraged. Cause life is hard. Uh oh, uh oh. 8:41 in the morning Eastern 5:41 for the Sammys out there. Like life is hard. But that's okay. It doesn't have to be atrocious. It doesn't have to be, like, terrible, but it is hard. And Sammy cry, Good to see you. And I don't know, like, some reason, we kind of lost that narrative. And I actually think there's beauty and enjoyment in the fight. I believe that there's beauty and enjoyment in the fight. And the figuring out, is there a purple bird? People keep saying purple bird on the screen. Oh, the purple bird got it. This right here, that's the karma. I'm like, I thought it was this screen. This is the karma kiwi, y'. All. That's the karma kiwi from Vee friends. Karma is important. All right, let's keep it going. Next question.
Audience Member / Question Asker
Hey, Gary, kind of a follow up to this same theme, but Cecile asked, how do you maintain empathy while holding people accountable? Sometimes it feels tough decisions might come from positive culture. So when you're saying that people don't want to fight that holding people accountable, how does that play?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I don't think being empathetic to someone is in conflict with keeping someone accountable. You can understand why someone did something wrong, and you could have a lot of compassion along with that empathy. You can feel why they did that. They had a toxic upbringing, and their mother made them feel like a piece of crap. So. So they're lashing out on you and they stole your video games or they punched you in the face, or they yell at you all the time. That doesn't mean you can't keep them accountable. You know, I do not think that is in conflict. Keeping them accountable is a form of love. Being an enabler to them is an issue. Right? So I would say that's not in conflict. You can love someone, you can be empathetic, compassionate, sympathetic to them, but you can still hold your line and be accountable. A lot of people on this zoom on this live right now, me included, have enabler DNA. You enable and you blame the other person, not yourself. And holding someone accountable is your own practice. And so that's that. Blazing Deals, good to see you, Ken. Couldn't do this. Good to see you, Blaze. And Deal says, nope. It's always their fault. You know, I don't see it that way. I mean, it could be their fault, but. He's kidding. But, you know, like, you know, that's kind of how it is. If you have a question in here, everyone, just ask it right in the chat. Everybody, we're gonna take a pause right now. Everybody double tap the screen five times for five years of good luck. Everybody, bottom right corner, hit. Hit the arrow. Everybody little the gift box down There is how you join the fan club if you're wondering what's popping up here. And also if you do not follow me, top left corner, hit my face. Click that and turn on notifications and follow who just showed up here randomly. This is your first time ever seeing me. I have great news for you. You have found the positive and practical part of the Internet. You found the positive and practical part of the Internet. I am glad your for you page brought you here this morning for tea with Gary Vee. I. Let's go to the next question.
Matthew
Gee, someone had just shouted you out. Two years ago, they started on whatnot and they surpassed over 2 million in sales. It's pretty neat.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yeah, listen, live shopping revolution. I keep bringing it up. People are often curious, but some are cynical in the comment section. TikTok affiliate, if you're on here right now, please, ChatGPT, please, Claude, please Google search TikTok affiliate. You can sell things by making content without even owning the product. And then if you take it to the next step and you're on live like I am now. Court, do we have a comic book pinned? Yes. Amazing. Which one? Eight. Amazing. Everybody who's watching right now, all 736 of you, just click that comic book eight right there in the bottom. It won't make you buy it, but just click into it. I want you to see the process and obviously I'm gonna give a shout out to anybody who buys it and it is going to be a collector's item one day as I build veefriends. But if you click in there, you can see what's going on. You can see that there's a whole ecosystem and live shopping is one of the great opportunities. Live shopping today reminds social media. 2009. 2006 social media. No one knew what that was. 2009 social media people had heard of it, but they didn't realize how big it was going to be. I think we're there right now. There's nothing pinned. Just look at me and it's not for everyone. Does everyone see the pin down below? It's pinned again. It's pinned. It is again. Got it, got it. No worries. All right, let's keep it moving, everyone.
Matthew
Similarly, someone asked, can I just do live shopping out of my grandmom's garage full of stuff or do I need to have.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes. No, you could absolutely sell. I actually think garage selling and flea marketing on TikTok is a huge opportunity before you get into buying wholesale and selling and infrastructure, all that, like just selling stuff like, literally, I could do it right now. Like, I could be like, all right, this macho man, Randy Savage toy, let's throw it up right now for a dollar. Keep bidding. We could do that. In fact, when Courtney comes back, good job, Court. I'm going to do that right now, actually, Court, can you throw something up for live bidding? You know how to do that? I can't. We don't have that function on this account. Correct, Right. I have it on my vee friends. I don't have it on this account, y', all, but I'll go on on v. No, it's okay. I'm trying to show them how to do garage sales. I know you just stepped out. This is really good. Everybody who has a kid between 3 and 6 years old, if you've got a child between 3 and 6 years old in this chat, put 36 in the chat. Put 36 in the chat. Let's do this. As a giveaway, I'm gonna give away this kid's book sign right now. But if you have a kid between three and six, we're gonna pin this kid's book. This is a remarkable book to read to your kids about vee friends. It's about patience, patient pig, and eager eagle. How to find balance in life. And we're gonna pin that right now. And we're also gonna do a giveaway. If you put 36 in the chat or if you're an awesome aunt or an unwavering uncle. Who's an awesome aunt or unwavering uncle, say aa or say you you in the chat, if you're the best auntie in the world, say aa. If you're one of the great uncles of all time, put you you in the chat right now. If you're an aunt or uncle to a three or four three to six year old, the book is now pinned. Yes, the book is pinned. And the giveaway is up. All right, the giveaway is up, everyone. The giveaway is up. Top left corner. Click it. Top left corner. There's a little might not be on yours, right? You can see the timer, but there's a shopping bag. There's a shopping bag right up here. Click that. It'll say entered in the chat. When you enter. Free giveaway of the signed kids book. One of you is going to win this for everybody else. If you want to buy one, it is pinned right below. If you're an awesome uncle or aunt or a parent of a three to six year old, that is live shopping, y'. All, let's keep it moving.
Matthew
G. How can my 30 year old son start over after losing his brother recently?
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's tough, y'. All. Like, grief is real. Like, you need to allow yourself to grieve. He's allowed to grieve. Everyone should grieve. Some people grieve by putting it on a shelf and they'll come back to it later through therapy. Others, you know, sit in it for two, three, four weeks, months. There is a cutoff where you have to move on with your life. The person that you know you've lost, parent, sibling, God forbid, child, you know, best friend, all of them would want you to move on at some point, but we need to be dramatically more cordial to ourselves and allow us to grieve. But how will your 30 year old son move on? Cause he's 30, and he will. He'll be 31, 32, 33. Life is long, y'. All. There's chapters, there's seasons. Watch this, New Yorkers. How nasty was this winter? We had a nasty fucking winter here in New York. It was cold, but it will be spring. Even though we all thought this morning was gonna be nice, we're, like, finally getting there. It was cold again this morning. But you will get to the next season, both in the four seasons of the Northeast and definitely in life. He will get there. Thank you for that little. He will get there. I want to say thank you to the person that just bought that. Cor. Just can't see it just by an inch. Yeah. Thank you so much. Cozy Mama Sips. Thank you so much for picking up the book. Cozy Mommy Sips. Mama Sips. Thank you so much for picking that up. It is pinned below. All right, if you have your question, ask it right now and we will answer it. Who's got the next question? Here?
Matthew
Jay, do you remember the first time you spoke to a large audience?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes. Florida.
Matthew
And what that felt like?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes. It felt like I was home. It was one of the great moments of my career. Like, I'd never spoken before. It was 2006, 7, 8, that range. And it was down in Florida for, like, an entrepreneurial marketing event. And I had no idea what I was gonna do. I got there early. Everybody had presentations and decks. I did not make one. I went up there and did an improv. And this is why I push so many people. All of you, forget about my story. I'm pushing all of you. You have to try new things. Cooking, skiing. What's this? Yarning or, I don't know, Knitting. Thank you so much. Team knitting. Collecting and flipping, making content, written content, audio content, video content. You need to try new shit. Because I did not think at 30 years old, 31 years old, that I was a public speaker. Then I tried it, then I loved it and that's that, you know, so please try new things. Like one of the great things that are very clear to me in this world that all of you are like complaining about AI and the algorithm and loneliness is more new acquaintances, more new hobbies. Gotta force yourself. Pick up basketball, you know, fencing, bowling, ping pong. Marty fucking Supreme. It dick. Like do something like, you know, back to Marty Supreme. Start going to the movies. Like try different things. Like start making food content. Like making videos about everything you eat. Like, I don't know, get into. Com. I actually think comic books are next. Actually pin this comic down below. I think comic books are next. Start collecting comics, music. If you love music and you like flipping music memorabilia. Starting to get hot. CDs, cassettes, you know, VHS's. If you like movie flipping. If you wanna make money, I don't know, fucking do something. I promise you the one thing that's not gonna work is fucking laying on your couch on your phone, like running around the Internet spewing that you're pissed and upset. That I promise you. 3014Life. Thank you for picking up the kids book. Stephanie Swan. Thank you for picking up the kids kids book. Shane. Thank you for checking out the comic book. Next question.
Audience Member / Question Asker
Hey Gary, Susie asked this question. So how where do you look for trends to attract a younger audience when you're over 60?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Go to Manus. M A N U S Manus is metas, Facebook, Instagrams, AI. You go to Manus, use Manus inside of Instagram and search questions. Sammy, you could just ask questions like what are the 23 to 40 year olds like in food? What do 22 year old Hispanic guys like in clothes? What does 31 year old females on the coasts like in health and wellness products? Manus M A N U S. That was very important. When I just dropped. That was very important. That was some progressive AI shit. Sammy. We're dropping some progressive AI shit. Big shout out to Logancx Life for picking up the kids book. The comic is pinned right now because people are going ham on the kids book, which I appreciate. They can go in the store. The bottom left, right court, bottom left, there's a little shopping cart or a store. Little shopping bag, right, sorry, orange shopping bag. Orange shopping bag bottom left. If you want to check out the whole store, far right arrow, click that to share. Right inside the far right arrow on the bottom right down there is a little, little, little gift box. Click that to join the fan club. There he is. Joining joiny is right there. All right, I'm gonna read the chat for a few minutes real quick. Let me see what's going on. Why don't you do. Why don't I. Jay said 15 million followers. Only a thousand watching live. Not really Jay. If you don't really commit to consistency, you will never get the numbers up on these platforms. I have not been consistent on live on TikTok. I've been random so I haven't been able to build up. But if I focus on it, I will. This was 500 in the beginning of year. Now it's 1000. If I was really focused on it, it would go to the moon. In fact, I'll focus on it right now. All 1100 of you, please do me a favor. Everybody double click the screen twice. Everybody click the right arrow at the bottom and share the screen. But most of all, go to the top left and go to my face. Click that and follow me. But more importantly, turn on notifications so you never miss a live stream as I get more consistent throughout this year. How many of you join this by getting a notification? Let me know if you want a question. Ask your question now. I'm back into the chat. Thank you Joshua for the kind words. Steven. Good to see you. My guy. Princess Pitsy. Good to see you. Glaad Clothing. Good to see you. Shop with Sam Live. Good to see you. Faith. Good to see you. Who's brand new. Who's brand new here and just showed up from the FYP and has never heard of me. Love you. Custom Hermes. Good to see you. Say new and no idea. New and no idea. Look at all these people. I want everyone to see the reason I just did that is for all of you to see. I've been making content for 20 years. I have 55 million followers around social. I make content every single day. Day. Go ahead, Court. Don't worry about it. And Courtney's just fixing the camera. Sorry, everybody. We'll be fine in a second. I make content every day. Hey, everybody. Hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast. That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy. There we go. All right. Sorry about that, Everybody. I have 55 million followers. I make content every single day. I'm on every platform. And one more time. Let's do this one more time, everyone. How many of you just showed up from the FYP and have no idea who I am? Maybe you've seen my face once or twice or you've never seen my face, Say new and no idea. And if you've never even seen my face, say new and never. I just want people to see this. Matthew, this is intense. I need people to see this grouchy air. Good to see you. Ichi. Good to see you. Charlie Diaz. Great to see you. My guy, Big Fmlo. Good to see you. Will. Gee, someone asks, walk like an Egyptian, y'. All. Walk like an Egyptian, y'. All Go ahead.
Matthew
If someone follows you for a week, what would stand out most, you think?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I mean, everybody consumes me differently. I think some people would be, like, blown away by the energy. Other people would be blown away by the authenticity. I think other people would. I hope after a week, if they're very, very observant, they would understand that. I like positivity and practicality I like business. I root for everybody else along with myself. I think we can all get it. I hate the fucking world is selling you. So much negativity. And everything sucks when it doesn't. And they got you the world, these politicians, these world leaders, these business owners, and even parents, teachers, universities, they got you all fucking scared. And once they have you scared, they control you. Pay very close attention to what everyone's selling you. They're trying to fucking scare you, so you need them. I'm trying to make you fucking optimistic and joyful so you don't get need me. What? I'm trying to get you to come here right now, get happy, fucking be like, yeah, I got this. And stop watching me and needing me. And all these fuckers, all these personalities, all these politicians, all these fucking news outlets, they want to scare the fuck out of you, so you need them. I'm going to say I'm scared of fucking you so much. So you watch my network all day long, I'm gonna tell you who to hate cause I'm gonna fuckin thrive. I'm gonna prey on your fucking insecurities. These fuckers, I hope they figure out that I'm not that. That's it.
Matthew
Gee, Marks, my dad has an aluminum company, how do I market it?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Hold on, I want to read these. Chat like everyone's lagged a little bit. I just want to see Joshua. Good to see you Ike G. Thank you. Don't be frightened mc, don't be frightened. The world is wide open for good. Glad coach. I curse a lot because I grew up in Jersey in the 80s to a mom that cursed a lot, I think it's just entrenched. I apologize. Ovi, good to see you. Zanita, good to see you. Scurvy. Steve, always good to see you. Dave H, great to see you. You're a legend. Serena Lucky Minaj. Tamara's the best Sammy, thank you for asking. I'm not apologizing for my cursing but I'm very empathetic that people don't like it. Meaning here's something important. We've become so self centered in the world right now that we don't have the capacity to understand someone else that but see something different. I'm gonna be me, I'm gonna be me, but I'm gonna understand others that don't like it, you know, and that's that. All right, let's keep going.
Matthew
I think it was Joe who had asked my dad has an aluminum company, how do I market something that's I
Gary Vaynerchuk
don't know if it's aluminum. Is it aluminum? B2B. It's probably LinkedIn, but I need more detail there. Matthew, next question. If you got a question, everybody I like. All the ladies got the NSYNC reference. All the ladies got the NSYNC reference. Good job, ladies. In the chat, fellas. Get your fucking culture game up from the 90s. My favorite battery is AAA as well. Kacharski asked the question of the night. What is your favorite battery? He says, mine is aaa. Mine is also aaa, though. I like that weird one that's like a box. What's the. Is that a D? The D? The D. The D needs some love, too. That D is weird. That little square in a world of fucking, like, you know, logs. I like the D battery too. All right, let's keep it going.
Matthew
G. As far as sports, someone asked, do you think UConn will win their third national title in the last four years?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I hope so. I'm rooting for UConn. Heavy. I love their coach. I like a lot of my homies are Michigan fans, But I want UConn to win. But man, Michigan looks real. Is email marketing dead? Absolutely not. You just have to be better at it. More segmentation, more breaking up your newsletter into different niches, different titles. More value inside. Not spam. Anything interesting in the store that we can pin up your. You're a dealer's choice. Court Karma Kiwi. People like the Purple bird. So what do we have? Oh, we have a Karma Kiwi Squishmallow now pinned. Everybody who likes the Karma kiwi. I'm a big fan of the Karma Kiwi. I believe in karma quite a bit. Oh, wait, did the giveaway go? Audience Member / Question Asker
Hey, Gary, this is a question from Adam. He said, what are your top tips for hosting and selling live on video, especially if you're kind of a shy person?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, if you're a shy person, you need to break out of that a little bit, I think. Don't be discouraged at first. Most people don't have a lot of people watching at first. You know, everybody plays it different. There's a lot to it. But I think you should sell what you know. I think you should sell what you know, and I think you should sell what you're passionate about. And I think when you're on it, you should describe it, right? You should describe it. So, in fact, actually, let's do that. Let's switch it up. We're gonna put comic number eight, Gary B. I'm gonna open. I hit another foil. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? To 299. I hit a foil to 299. I don't know if that's gonna focus to 299. Look at that. Look at that. Foil to $2.99. Rare cover on the GaryVee. I'm gonna sign it. We're gonna give this away. Everybody who doesn't know anything about veefriends. If you go to ebay right now and you type in veefriends and go to completed items, you will be blown away. I'm building kind of like a Pokemon Marvel, Harry Potter World, $2.99 signed. I'm giving this away for free. If you don't care anything about veefriends in my world, good news, you just get this in the mail for free. If you get into the giveaway right now and list it on ebay, you will sell this for hundreds and hundreds of dollars. So that's amazing. We're gonna Give it away. Top left corner, everybody. Top left corner. Click it right now. Top left corner. Click it right now. Top left corner. Click that little bag right now to enter. Enter for the free giveaway. This is free money, everybody. If you need a little bolt on a Monday morning, a little boost, free money. Just free money. Literally. I see everyone who's entering, free money. Good luck. But anyway, so the person that was asking, like, if I was selling this comic, I might read the whole comic and explain why the comic matters and show, ooh, the little bookmark and show. Like, for example, it's probably not gonna zoom in. Don't worry about it. I don't think you have to overthink it. But I'm just gonna go to vfriends on eBay. The other thing I would do if I was selling, I would. I would show. I would show things that are selling on ebay, right? So that comic sold for 87 bucks. That Alien card sold for 12 bucks. And I would show people, like, what's going on and see the different things. So, you know, there we go. I mean, that comic sold for $650. Oh, yeah, bro. Bryce. Don't sleep on me, bro. I'm building a huge universe. I'm building a huge universe of veefriends. So everybody, if you're a flipper, if you're into Pokemon or Yu Gi. Oh. Or manga or anime or Marvel, like that comic right there, right there. Rogue's first appearance, trading cards, all that flip life. Please check out veefriends. This is kind of a fun one, but someone left a comment of, bro, how do we make TikTok Radio happen? Because it's getting serious. Because, you know, there's, like, a lot of music on TikTok and it's being shared in the edits. Like, do you think that's viable? And set the Park. What Was your first CD?
Gary Vaynerchuk
My first CD was Bon Jovi, Slippery When Wet. I was 11. Sixth grade, I think. Fifth grade. 86 sounds right. It was crazy. Don't forget I'm an OG. I'm unk out here. I had cassettes before I had CDs. So, you know, my first cassette was Thriller by Michael Jackson, which was huge. Anyway, TikTok radio. Sure. I mean, TikTok's focus at. I'm sure they dominate music right now. They're so focused on shopping. But I'm sure It's there for them. So much music is consumed on this platform, discovered on this platform and I'm sure they think about it daily. I can't make it admin, but they can. All right, we're giving this away. How much more time on the giveaway? Two minutes. Alright, there's two minutes, everyone. I do not want anyone to miss this, especially the people that just came from fyp. Top right corner. Click it. Top right corner. Top left corner. Excuse me. Click the little bag to enter. Top left corner. To enter the bag. Get this. There's a couple hundred dollars on ebay, easy. It's a rare cover and it is signed by me. Free money. Get in everyone. Ked is entering again. Ked's trying to win again. I love that. Alright, next question, everybody. If you have a question, everybody, the thousand of you that are in here, if you have a question, ask it in the chat. Also, if you're just joining me and you want to hang around more often, Top left corner, click my face and hit notifications. Hit that bell. If you just click my face in the top left corner and you hit the bell, say belled you up. I want to know if you belled me up in the chat because I want to say thank you. Hit belled me up. Killing Machine advice for 34 year old Understand. It's just starting. All right, keep it going everyone. Next question.

Hey, Gary, I'm frustrated right now and I need your advice. Every time I speak to my mom about my plans, I feel lost again. My mom believes I keep bouncing from thing to thing when I think it gets difficult. But the truth is I love trying new things. I love figuring out my niche, my strength and my thing. Is it okay for me to move on from something I tried and recognize that I didn't? Or am I giving up too easily despite clearly not enjoying my experience anymore?
Gary Vaynerchuk
It could be either. But who's that person that asked?
Audience Member / Question Asker
It's from the comments on ig, I think.
Gary Vaynerchuk
No worries. It depends if you're taking mommy's money. If you're living in mommy's house and mommy's paying for things, well, then you're in trouble because you got to kind of listen to her. My advice to that gentleman or that lady is to get out of the house and live with roommates. Live more humbly and then you're living on your own terms. And then whether she's right or you're right, it doesn't matter. You get to live your life. I don't know if you quit when the going gets Tough. A lot of you do. Others on this chat have a lot of self awareness and know when they don't like something, they're like, fuck it. I'm going to mix it up until I find the thing. I believe your 20s is about finding the thing. I also think the worst thing in life is when you're a fucking quitter. You bitch out. When there's a little adversity in this scenario, it could be either. The question becomes, if he's on mommy's payroll. Raghav. If he's still sucking on mommy's teeth, you know, like figuratively, obviously on the payroll, then Mommy has say if he's not, stop talking to fucking Mommy. If Mommy's discouraging you, get out. Psalms 23 is our giveaway. Who won? Psalms 23. Psalms 23. Let's clap it up. Joshua says, I live with my mom, bro. That's okay, Josh. It's amazing to live with your parents. My thing is, when you live with your parents, when your mom's taking care of of you, then they have more say. Cause they should. Because you're on the payroll as a grownup. Everything's allowed, y'. All. What's not allowed is to be a fucking hypocrite. What's not allowed is be taking money from your parents and then shitting on your parents when you're 26. That's not cool. And by the way, that's okay, too. You can live your life. Just stop crying, like, everything's allowed, y'.
Audience Member / Question Asker
All.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's not hurting someone else. And like murder. Murder's not allowed, y'.
Matthew
All.
Gary Vaynerchuk
But you know, like, you can do anything. You know, you can do anything. But you have to understand, life is shockingly fair in a lot of ways. If you're at home and Mom's paying for your Uber and your Uber Eats and your electricity and your lighting and your water, if your parents are paying for your shit, they're gonna say something. That's just life. Everybody, bottom right corner, hit that arrow. All 10, 50 of us are about to do this. Bottom right corner, hit that little arrow. And when the pop up comes in the second row, there's a. What's it called? Exactly. What does it say when I want to repost? Right, Repost. Let me know if you just reposted. When you hit that little arrow on the second level all the way to the left, you'll see a yellow button. That's repost. Hit that. It. If you just did that, say repost it. Because I want to say thank You. Thank you so much. Anna. Thank you Jules. For life. Thank you Star Pink, Low C. Thank you man. Thank you so much. Mochi. Thank you. Ali V. Thank you everyone. Thank you so much. Charla. Thank you so much. The joys of life. Hetrick Here. Groovy Flamingo. Love that name. Thank you so much. Christian Redcat. Thank you everybody. Who's reposting? Jay, Anthony J, Jerry R, Tina G. Alberto, Tommy Baxter. Thank you everyone. Now if you have a question and I can answer it for you, ask your question. If you have a question, I can answer it for you. Ask your question.
Matthew
Gee, we had a question.
Gary Vaynerchuk
A good one.
Matthew
How do you balance so many texts, emails, threads, businesses with getting some time for family and yourself? How do you balance that busyness on screen with just some real life sip
Gary Vaynerchuk
discipline? Sorry, was talking and sipped tea. Wrong pipe life, everyone. Wrong pipe life, everyone. But you know what I don't cry about when beverages go down the wrong pipe, I fucking work through it. I don't cry and take a one minute break cause fucking water went down the wrong fucking pipe. I've seen people take a seven minute break in a meeting, Matthew, on a wrong pipe. I'm sitting right through it. Let me answer this fucker's question. How do I do it? I'm a fucking human being. Sometimes I do the fucking screen and do the work. Sometimes I hang with my family, sometimes I sleep, sometimes I get less sleep cause I'm fucking grinding. I don't fucking analyze everything. You don't need to fucking analyze every fucking thing on earth. Not everything needs to be fucking analyzed. I fucking live. You know, like every fucking era that humans lived prior to 2020 when we decided to fucking analyze every fucking thing. I fucking just live. And when I fuck up and I'm like, oh, too much screen time, I put it down, I don't cry. Like last Thursday there was too much screen time. Tomorrow I'll do less screen time. Jesus, that felt good. Like, you know, like everything's so complex that everything's fucking labeled. Uh oh, what's going on, Court? Just we don't have a dummy battery so I have to switch the camera. Got it. But we're still, we're still live. They can hear me, but they can't see it. I just had to switch the batteries. Is that because this new camera thing and that's like I just need to get a dummy battery. Yes. Oh, got it, got it, got it, got it. Right everybody, I'm going in the chat because I think everyone understands what I just said. Right, Rodrigo? It is too much passion. Cause I want good for all of you, Rodrigo. The number one thing that would make 1,063 people that are in here have a happy Monday is that they stopped analyzing everything and they started giving themselves more grace. And they understand that. There's no fucking time machine, friends. There's no time machine. If last Wednesday was bad, learn from it and make next Wednesday good. That's a clip. There's no time machine. And if last Wednesday was bad, learn from it and make next Wednesday good. We've become the greatest generation of dwelling about last Wednesday. It's fucking over. Resilience, adaptability, accountability. But most of all, grace. Give yourself grace, y'.
Matthew
All.
Gary Vaynerchuk
You're trying out here. We're trying out here. Is this guy Mexican? No, I'm Russian. Like, you know, like Josh. That's it. You understand? Who showed up here randomly on the fyp and glad they did. I gave you your Monday morning fucking wake up call. That coffee, that shower, that you needed, that reset. Who showed up and is glad? Who showed up and is glad? Who's completely random? Not that you know me. Not that you know me. I'm talking brain. Brand new. New and glad you've never seen me before. You've been following me. You know what we're about. Say new and glad. This is like first time FYP randomly joined and you're like, yo, I fuck with this guy. Top left corner, kick my face. Hit the bell. Nutty, glad you're here. Zango, glad you're here. 4. Danes, glad you're here. Lexi, glad you're here. Big shout out to Portugal. Muslim. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Glad you're here. Let's go. Lap. I'm not from Philly, I'm from Jersey. Same shit. Same shit. Steel, I'm glad you're here too. Next question, if you like. What? I said, double tap the screen five times. It's five years of good luck. It's better than 11. 11. Double tap the screen five times. I want to see those hearts go up. Double tap the screen five times right now. Five years good luck. Better than 11. 11. Better than making a wish at 11. 11 is tapping the screen five times. You understand? Court, we're gonna trick this algo. There you go. Court, you need five. Let's go. Five years. There you go. Good luck. Alright, keep it going. Next question. Jay Anthony says, how would you help a 38 year old actor get noticed? Jay Anthony, you have to make skits on social media with other actors that are striving and struggling. Find other actors, DM them, search them, Use Manus. Give me a list of actors around me. How do you find people locally? You go into Instagram, you type in your town, Short Hills, New Jersey, Enter, and then you click and then it shows you. You click on Short Hills, it shows you all the posts from people from Short Hills. And then you just DM them. Be like, yo, you're an actor, I'm an actor. You want to make a skit? You have to make things you can't be discovered without making. Everything is action, Matthew. Everything is action. Like literally, how do I become a bigger music artist? Put out content of your music. How do I get discovered as an actor? You don't need to go to Hollywood and wait tables and go for, you know, what do they call auditions. You can literally make content on the Internet now and be discovered. Everything is action. How do I get muscles? The gym? How do I get smarter? Educate yourself. Read shit on the Internet. Consume shit. Everything is action. Everything is action. Everything is action.
Matthew
G Jess asks, why does it feel like even as technology keeps getting better, me, my friends and co workers all feel like we have less and less time?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Cause you're a bitch. What do you want from me? I don't know, like, what do you want from me? Because everyone's a fucking crying bitch now I have less time. No you don't. You're not disciplined. You chose to lay on your fucking couch and doom scroll negative news shit about the world that you have no fucking understanding of, let alone ability to change. Uh oh, now I'm fucking. That's the one right there. You're doom scrolling on shit you don't even understand, let alone have the ability to fucking do something about it. You don't have time. Don't fucking doom scroll. Get off your fucking phone and being a bitch and go to the bowling alley and drink a fucking Bud Light. You, your friends and co workers, come on. And you all know it. I'm not keeping it real. I'm saying what you all know. You all know it. You want to blame Instagram and TikTok and your phone. All you guys want to do is blame somebody else for your problems because mommy and dad let you do that. That's it. That's it, man. I want this so bad for all of you. But until you understand everything is your fault. Fault. You will never be happy. You are in full control of your life. Don't like your fucking city. Get the fuck out. Don't like your state. Get the fuck out. Don't like your country, Leave it. Don't like your relationship, break up. Don't like your job, quit. AO accountability and optimism. Say it with me, everyone. Jay, I love you back. Ao accountability and optimism. Dre, all jobs are safe from AI. You'll see. You've got to be able to use AI, though. Just fear, man. AI governments, evil billionaires. I don't know, man. I just want this so bad for y'. All. Z films. I love you, man. Fear has been weaponized on all of you in a way that you have no idea. And you've walked right into it. You're like, oh, look at this. Look at this delicious cupcake. Make pretend Randy the Macho man is a fear cupcake. We're gonna make pretend that Randy the Macho Man Savage is a fear cupcake. The world put down fear cupcakes. The news, social media personalities, elected officials, parents, bosses, professors. They put down a fear cupcake. And this is all of you. Ooh. You're eating these fear cupcakes like it's your fucking job. Stop it. The world is fucking awesome. There's unlimited opportunities. There's tons of people winning. They're just quiet because they're scared to say it, because it triggers your insecurities, bro. It's so real out here. There's so much good. Until you choose love and optimism and hope, you will continue to struggle. I'm glad, Dre. I'm telling you, man. All of you have eaten this fear cupcake, and they've got you hooked. You're on that refined sugar of fear. I'm pushing, Sarah. I'm here for it. You have no idea how good the world is. Do you know 99% of people are unbelievable? Like, great or at least neutrally nice or cordial. 99.9. But you fuckers spend all your time in the stream consuming 57 people who are selling fear so that you like them. They're gonna protect you. From what? What are we talking? VIP trading? What are my thoughts on Open Claw? That it's the number one thing that everyone here should learn about agentic. AI Agents really matters to everyone. I cried until I realized nobody's going to come and save me. And I follow my dreams. Of course, Mr. Johnny Stearns. Thank you. My Liberty TV started me off. Nick Oliver says, what's Open Claw? Google it. Claude it. Chat. GPT it. All of you need to know what Open Claw is. Time is running out, though. Gemini says, how about you have unlimited time? Because the second you die, you're not going to know you ran out of time anyway, Dick. What? I mean come on, like what are we talking about? Why the fuck are we talking about this? Yes, Aaron Wolf. Don't have self doubt. Everyone else has it for you. Have self confidence. It's the only thing you control. All right, I'm out of here. Taking a flight. See you all. Love you. Good luck. I hope somebody woke up. Actually real quick, I hope somebody woke the fuck up this morning. As soon as I sign off here right now, there will be a little button in the middle of the screen that allows you to hit notifications. Right.
