Hey everybody, it's Gary Vaynerchuk, marketing for the now can 2026. And I'm just gonna be transparent. Cause it's how I like to roll. This is the interview that I'm most excited about that I'm doing this weekend. Because it's actually contemporary, it's actually not looking at yesterday. It's focusing on today. And equally important, everybody's tomorrow. This is the GaryVee audio experience. First, please introduce yourself to all the people that will be watching this over the next several years on the Internet, where you're from and what you guys do. And then I'll go into the questions.
B
Firstly, thank you for inviting me here, Gary. Excited to be on your, on your show.
A
Thank you all the time. Thank you.
B
Firstly, I'm Naveen. I founded two companies, InMobi, which is an advertising platform and I founded Glance, which is actually an agent e commerce platform. And that's the one that we've launched in the US it's killing like crazy. We really want to change the way the world shops.
A
Yes.
B
And that's what we are up to.
A
So agentic commerce the way the world shops. I think that people that I would say are more Silicon Valley forward when you deliver that sentence, they understand. I think people that are more Madison Avenue forward, which is where we are, as you know, do not understand that as well. You know, my start in all of this was launching an E commerce site in 1997.
B
Yeah, I heard about that one.
A
And so that I've been in commerce pretty much from a very early stage of Internet commerce, where glance is taking and where the market's going is very exciting for me because it's the first time in 30 years that the user interface of how people buy things is gonna change. That is a substantial thing.
B
Yeah.
A
For, for the people that are watching on LinkedIn right now, for the people that are gonna read this when I transcribe it to substack, break down in layman's terms. And then because I know you're capable, jump up to 201, 301 talk on this whole agenda. Commerce play.
B
All right. I'm gonna try my best.
A
Please.
B
So here's what, here's what the world of commerce has looked like. Right. We, you know, when I want to buy something, I go talk to, talk to a friend of mine, I talk to a partner of mine. You know, I show it to somebody. I go do research online, all of these. Just to like find what product to buy.
A
Yes.
B
Then once I found what product to buy, I then Go online and look for the best place where I am not being pleased. I am paying price.
A
Yes.
B
Low price for the same product. So I spend a lot of time. We call that research.
A
Yes.
B
Okay, that's not really research. We just try to find out what to buy and, and then where to buy and how much to pay.
A
That's right.
B
Now, all of that should not be done in. In today's era, should not be done by yourself in this broken manner. What we try to do is to bring all of that together and we call that glance. What that means is the intelligence of the world should be able to tell what. What products Gary needs. Okay. You know, I don't need to like, you don't need to go talk to me. You can, of course, but what if
A
I love your beautiful blue Prada shoes?
B
Like, what about that scenario?
A
Go ahead, keep going.
B
I didn't need any machine to tell me that these are good. But sometimes, sometimes you do sometimes.
A
And that's actually an important point. I'm just gonna jump in. People always thinking or this is gonna be. And someone listening right now. If you want to window shop, if you enjoy that, knock yourself out. I can speak firsthand. I want to do zero of that. I want my agents to buy absolutely everything for me at the best price based on my prior behavior.
B
Absolutely.
A
Get me the fuck out of it
B
and they will remember everything you have ever told it. So the context window is really long.
A
Correct.
B
By the way, the place which you really touched upon, which is really important is it is not text based. Right. If you use GPD etc, it's all text based. It is impossible to say, hey, go buy these blue shoes. And they look like this. I don't know what that means. So the output for us is images, it is generated products, it is the product, by the way, on how it looks on you.
A
Yes.
B
Because what you do today is you wear a product, you go show it to, you know, a friend of yours and say, how do I look in this?
A
Yes.
B
Well, let us do this for you.
A
Yes.
B
So effectively we choose the product for you. We show it how it looks in the environment that you want to see it either on you or in your home or whatever. And then we tell you what's the best place to buy it. All of that is done by the machine. So the agent will do this to you.
A
Is the agent buying it for you as well?
B
Agent is assisting in the buying. We don't want the agent to complete the buy process.
A
What if the human wants it?
B
Oh, then it'll yeah, because that's what I want. That's it.
A
I literally actually just want to show up to my home every day, have stuff.
B
Yeah. And if you automate it and say give it, give it a budget, they'll just buy it for you.
A
What about long term? Do you think because of this world we're about to live in, do you think those Prada shoes, for example, will start to become AI and Internet of things enabled, where it understands that you've worn it enough that it's wearing down, but you love them and it itself will reorder itself.
B
That's a great idea, man. Listen to it.
A
What do you think? I just got here by my looks. So good, so good, so good.
C

B
But that's a great idea. But I'll tell you what really happens. You know, Wheat note, how many brands
A
do you know in the world? Me? What do I think? 100.
B
100?
A
Yeah.
B
How many brands do you think that exist out there?
A
Millions.
B
Millions. You don't know the remaining?
A
Of course.
B
Of course. Machine knows them.
A
Of course.
B
So therefore what starts to happen is the machine goes and looks up that you know, 10,000th brand in the world that you are not aware of. But it's best for you.
A
I want to. I want everyone to hear what I'm about to say because I know the demonization of incredible technologies is the flight of man. I want everyone to hear this. If you love shoe shopping, this doesn't stop it. This allows you to do more shoe shopping because in the background it's buying groceries or shampoo. A category you don't care. What people do not understand about Agentix shopping is it will do the shopping for you in the categories that you don't care. Thus giving you more time to do the deep work that you want to do on the categories that you do. This is a really important point.
B
Bang on, man.
A
Right, brother? Like a lot of people will demonize this because many love shop. I mean, Hannah park, she loves to shop, but does she love to shop for every category? Of course not. No human does.
B
That's exactly right. And therefore the machine. Give the machine the ability to go and shop for you. It'll look at products that you've never seen before. Of course, look at brands that you never even heard of. It'll look at price points that are unbelievable for you because the world has, has this and therefore less returns.
A
Yes.
B
Better for sustainability, better for climate. You are going to save more money and you're going to have a lot of more time on your hands.
A
Understood. Tell me something that has been either a misconception or people don't really grasp yet in the next 24 months in this space. Anything stand out when I ask you that on either side, there are two things I think.
B
One, people have yet to essentially understand that agents can actually be visual in nature. And that's something that we are trying to showcase. To say it's visuals, it's not text based. Sure, text based are used. There are different use cases for it. The second is every brand has to essentially start in, you know, training their. Training their systems to be learned by the agents.
A
That's right.
B
So if you stay behind on that, the agent to agent protocol is going to become more important.
A
Everybody else, oh geez. Listen to me carefully. Do you remember back in the day when you had websites in the late 90s and then you woke up one day and realized, wait a minute, our website has to be read by Google? So we show up on the first page. This is what this fine gentleman is describing. If you are not creating content for social, if your websites and your places that you show up digitally are not structured to be readable by these agents, you have no opportunity of being bought.
B
That is bang on. And by the way, the agent traffic has already overtaken human traffic. Of course friends, that's gonna just like be the case.
A
The computers are gonna win. I'm sorry, suck it up.
B
But participate in it in a way that.
A
Well, that's right, activate it.
B
Right? Yes. And by the way, it's great for the businesses, it's great for consumers.
A
All right, one last moment because we're having fun here, but I think you just deserve this. Then why glance over other things for people that want to be on the consumer side of this to consider it and how do they find it, how
B
do they use it? You should go download Glance app first. Second, we are the number one player in the agentic shopping world right now. Globally, there's nobody even remotely close to what we are trying to do.
A
So you've got a first mover advantage.
B
Hugely. And the beauty of this is the faster you train the model, the the better it works for you. So to get onto that bandwagon early, whether you're a consumer or an enterprise
A
because the more you two sided marketplace right be found by the agents, be a consumer that's going to have a better shopping space.
B
Exactly. And the more you use it, the better it gets for you on both sides, my friend.
A
Congratulations.
B
Thank you man.
A

In this forward-looking episode, Gary Vaynerchuk interviews Naveen, founder of the agentic commerce platform Glance, about the future of online shopping powered by AI agents. The discussion dives into how "agentic commerce" will fundamentally transform how people discover, research, and buy products, making the experience faster, more personalized, and significantly more automated. The duo explores both the consumer and business sides of this disruptive shift.
Visual Shopping Revolution (03:53 – Naveen):
“If you use GPD etc, it’s all text based. It is impossible to say, hey, go buy these blue shoes...So the output for us is images, it is generated products, it is the product, by the way, on how it looks on you.”
Demystifying AI Commerce (06:11 – Gary):
“What people do not understand about Agentix shopping is it will do the shopping for you in the categories that you don’t care. Thus giving you more time to do the deep work that you want to do on the categories that you do.”
SEO Analogy to AI Optimization (08:10 – Gary):
“Do you remember back in the day when you had websites in the late 90s and then you woke up one day and realized, wait a minute, our website has to be read by Google? ... If you are not creating content for social, if your websites and your places that you show up digitally are not structured to be readable by these agents, you have no opportunity of being bought.”
This episode paints a compelling picture of the near-future in commerce: AI agents and visual interfaces will radically automate purchases, expand consumer awareness, and save time, while brands must urgently adapt their data and digital presence to ensure visibility in an agent-driven marketplace. For listeners, the key takeaway is clear—embrace the shift, start experimenting as a consumer or business, and get ahead before agent-driven shopping becomes the default.
