I need to meet a man that has 10 kids and wants a garage sale. That is a man. I need to DM Jeff. I'm literally gonna have Team Gary DM you. I'm flying you in here for 15 minutes on this show. We're gonna answer it live. That's what we do here, folks. This is a crazy show. We just randomly fly people in. This motherfucker is in a rural area. He's gonna have to drive to some airport, probably connect. That's literally what can happen here. This is the GaryVee audio experience. Before you go to the podcast, I've got a big announcement. I know several years ago, a lot of you bought 12 books of 12 and a half to get the NFT, the book games NFT. I also know that a lot of people have dropped off on their journey with veefriends, which is a massive mistake because what we're doing on Burn island and what we're doing on base with book games is remarkable. So you need to go to veefriends vfriends.com oldbooks go to vfriends.com oldbooks with an S. You will go to that landing page and we will help you explain if you are trying to figure out where your NFTs are, how to bring them over to the website and how to start activating them so that you can start using them for all the incredible exchanges and draws and raffles and experiences that we're doing for people that actually own the book games. So please go to vfriends.comoldbooks where you can start your journey on reactivating your book games. Journey. Gee, what do you think the best type of company to start right now is given the current state of the economy? The economy should have no impact on what kind of business you start. Great companies have been started in shit economies and horrible companies have been started in great economies. The business that everyone should start in this room is one that is actually something they can do. I do believe that self awareness is one of the great unlocks to happiness in the world. When you're self aware, you actually are rolling with a lot of humility and a lot of understanding for yourself. A lot of people here need to start businesses that will actually work for them. Meaning, are they a salesman, are they an operator? Right. Are they good at promotion and marketing? Are they good at making stuff? I'm very big on live social shopping. Starting a TikTok shop and selling on here I think would be a monster. So I'm big on that. Rt. You Are very welcome. Christian W. So the business has to be very predicated on yourself, not on a trend. It's not about cannabis or crypto or streetwear brands. We need to really get in there and understand who we are. And I always like Passions. The first book I ever wrote. Duck, Charlie, just duck so I can point to it. There we go. Right there. That book right there. Crush it, right? This first book I ever wrote, right? Like, this book was cash it on your passion. Right? And so for me, that's a very big deal, because I think that when you love it and when you know yourself, you have a better chance of actually creating a good business. Everyone. So focus on what you're good at. Focus what you know. Focus what you care about. Is Kraft beer dying? Of course not. Is it red hot like it was in the mid-90s and like it was 10 years ago? No. But can you start an incredible craft beer business right now? Yes. It's about execution. It's about knowing yourself. It's about building the markets that you are all considering. Right. Are big enough. When people are like, oh, craft beer are dying. Well, watch this. How big is the craft beer business in America? How large is the total volume and sales of the craft beer business in America? In 2024, the U.S. craft beer market reached about $28.9 billion in retail sales, even though production volume dipped to around 23.1 million barrels. It's a bit of a mixed trend, with sales value is increasing while production volume fell. That's it. So there it is. Right? And it's at 28 billion. That's right. So what I just did there for everybody is, you gotta understand, just because something is trending down doesn't mean it's small. You know, 28 billion is more than enough for the person that just asked that question to get their little tiny slice. Right. Right. You know, 1% of the craft beer market is 280 million for that person. You know, cut that in half. 0.05% of the market. Like 140 million. Like, that person's probably thrilled with doing 14 million. A fraction of that. So I need all of you to understand that. Sid, what questions you got? Who's got questions? Let's all ask questions in here. Yee haw. I'm a cowboy, you know, like, so keep. Keep throwing things on my face. Everybody. Michael, Patrick, good to see you. Buff Bets. Good to see you. Thoughts on the Pokemon market? I think it's red hot. Feels like it's a little frothy, you know? The economy's getting a little soft today, right? Like when I see the stocks going down and everything is real ugly. I mean, ETH is down to 30. ETH is down quite a bit today. 10%. Bitcoin's under one, under a hundred, which people said would never happen. Or you know, like, listen, you know, like there's a lot of, you know, destability in the market and I think that will affect collectibles. Like, collectibles are not a necessity. This is not a necessity. This is not a necessity, though. I think you should get it for you and your kids. This is not a necessity. You know, like, these are not necessities. But g, what are you showing? These are vfriends. My Pokemon, my marvel. Thank you for that. I like that one. Keep throwing that one up. Cause I look. I look cute with that. All right, let's keep going. Things to generate income while I'm down with bicep surgery. Arizona stoner. Go on live and do live shopping. You could do it right here. I'm doing it from a phone right now. Live social shopping. If you don't know it, get it. Go ahead. Sid, do you think digital products market is over saturated? Like what ebooks? I think everything's oversaturated. I think everything potentially is oversaturated. I think everybody in this chat that's asking questions, everything's oversaturated. I think most people in a chat like this asking me these questions are looking for the angle. Gary, what do you see? Like, oh, bro, everybody's everywhere. It's over. There's no angle, there's no shortcut. There's no seeing around corners. The second you see it, it's everywhere. Am I right about live social shopping as an opportunity? Yes. But does nobody see it? Not really. Millions of people see it do not work. And Dano said, wow, I'm trying to get people into the right mindset, right? Which is like, of course there are things that are underpriced. Real estate, collectibles, business opportunities. That's not where I want you to focus. I want you to focus on your self awareness of what you want to do and what you want to make and what you want to sell. Ready? Are digital products, ebooks, and things of that nature oversaturated? Yes, potentially. How many people have done the Stan challenge and have made money? Tons. We see it every week. Every week I'm on the call, people are like, I can't believe this. And they're all not great. Most of the people last week that said they made money, had never made money before in their life. All right, let's keep answering questions because I love it because I see Barry Epstein's Einstein Pink Phantom. Yes, Train. Someone in the chat said, how can you get over? Or how can you. What's the first step to take to get over years of bad habit accountability? Hold on. Somebody just said something about the jets that I just want to make sure is true or not true. No, I don't see that yet. Okay, what's that? How to get over. What is the first steps to get out of bad behavior. Bad behavior, bad habits, full accountability. Boom. Your bad behavior is 100% your fault. Like you know, for example, Gary, you don't get it. I'm an alcoholic because my father and grandfather was next. Answer my rebuttal to that person. Do you know anybody who stopped out, you know, that alcoholic track in the world? Has there ever been someone who had a great granddaddy, a granddaddy and a daddy who were an alcoholic and they decided to go the other way and created massive mental discipline, surround themselves with different people and broke the pattern, broke the trauma pattern? If there's a single person, that's the answer is yes. Everyone. The answer is yes there. Every single thing that's ever happened has happened. Meaning somebody has broken the trauma link. Then I go to that person. You could be that person. This episode is brought to you by Google Chrome. You think you know a browser, but Gemini and Chrome, that's new. I'm the first non alcoholic. I'm the first one to. You know, it's happened a million times and like I don't understand how nobody understands that you're fully in control, you're fully capable. All right, people give me questions. The energy is Electric. Love you. Because I love you when you're filled with gratitude and optimism and aao, which stands for accountability and optimism. Have you break bad patterns by realizing you're the problem. That's a big night star Brown fishing guy. Look at that. Yes, that's it. I've identified some trends with your behaviors. I want to ask you this question, please. How do you consume your news? Because, like, what you just did with the jets thing, like, you didn't go on the Internet. And, like, I feel like because of just how much you're in so many different conversations. Yep. You're probably just, like, consuming more inbound than going and, like, looking at information on the Internet at this point. At the scale that I'm at, I'm getting a lot of my news coming to me because a lot of people know I'm in marketing, I'm in business, I'm in investing, I'm in. But there I went to my jets thread because my jets thread breaks news before ESPN. Like, everybody's in. AJ's an agent. Like, there's a lot there. But, you know, I like this app a lot. This is an app that I would recommend Break Break the Web. If you see that right there. See Break the Web. I'm very big on that. Break the Web is just kind of like, trend. Yee haw. You know, these are trending topics, right? Dick Cheney died, New York City made Beckham knighted. You know, like, this is really interesting for me. Like, so this kind of takes trending items on AI. So I look at that, I skim that like four or five times a day. I read Twitter quite a bit. Reddit, you know, I get media, millions of DMs. Like, I'm just in the ether. And then on long flights, I just read things and get into rabbit holes. You know, what else are we seeing here? What else are we seeing here? What was your strategy when you first started your marketing agency? Good one, Alana. I put out a lot of content on the Internet about what I believed that social media was gonna do, and that led to people reaching out to me. All of you should be using LinkedIn and Twitter and substack to share your thoughts about what you see. Courtney likes music quite a bit. She would love to have a career in music. Probably secretly is waiting. Like, when's this fucker gonna create Vayner music? Loves her music, right? I think she should be putting out on LinkedIn her thoughts on emerging artists that she discovers that could lead to an A and R reaching out to her and Saying, I like your sensibility. Would you like to work here? And she come in here. Gary, I don't know. Cause you're the best boss. But I love music. Should I go? And then I mentor. Like that's just like it. That's life. You need to be putting out information around the things that you want to accomplish. My points of view on marketing became profoundly historically correct and I trade on that equity now. But I believed in it. I had thoughts. You can't just throw a bunch of things against the wall and see what sticks. You have to know your stuff and a lot of you need to be putting out. Actually, here's a good question for all 1200 of you. What is the thing that you know best out of everything, like cooking, tennis, information, Star Trek facts. Like what do you. I need all 1200 of you answering right now. That's cute. Yay. You know, myself, fine. What do you know most about what do you know most? Metal work, dog training, automotive, you know, self help. Like that's the content. That's the content. And it's at scale. You have to put out content at scale. Everybody at scale. I need people in. Can we do questions and polls here? Yes. Okay, let's do a poll. Cory, you ready? Absolutely. Yeah. Let's do a little poll here. Let's try this out first ever. First of a poll here. All right. The question's gonna be like, do you post? The question I want you to ask is, do you post on social media three times a day? So this is for everybody who is trying to run a business. Hey everybody, hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast. That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy. So my poll that I just put up is do you post three times a day when you have a business and you're trying to sell something? If you're trying to sell something and have a business, not if you're regular. Like you're not into it. I need to know if you're posting three times a day. I need these votes. I need these votes. Some of you are voting. And again, one of the things I need all of you to understand is the more you post, the luckier you get. The more you post, the luckier you get, the more you post. Main page, not stories. Everybody loves a good story. Cop out. Right? Because people are precious. About your grid. Stop worrying about your friggin grid. I said friggin. I'm Worried about my algo. Stop worrying about your friggin grid, guys. If you've ever wanted PG Gary. PG Arry. PG Gary. PG Gary is here and he's on TikTok. Because I'm scared of the algo. I'm scared of you. Algo Danner. Yes, we can see Gary's here. The ADHD is coming through strong. Listen, I can bounce around. I think it's a superpower. I can focus on a lot of things. I'm looking over here, I'm looking at my team. I'm like still worried about the jets because they have 20 minutes to make their trades. Like, there's a lot going on in this brain right now. Hospitality is a great one, friends. Substack, beehive. If you don't know that, how many people here know substack or beehive? What other questions you got? Where do you see live streaming going in the next five years? You and I are on the same page. I think it's gonna explode. I think live streaming on all the platforms, TikTok included, is gonna explode. You know the backpack thing. We all know what's going on. I will be live streaming quite a bit. How many people here have caught three or four? How many have I done of these now? Three, four? This is the fourth. Fourth. How many people here have caught all four of my lives here on TikTok? And how do you like it? Who discovered me? Literally discovered me this last week because of TikTok Live. How do you like it? Are you enjoying it? Is there a way that it's easy for them to make sure they join all mine? Just follow me and it pops up like, what's the best? What's the best way? Turn on notifications. Turn on notifications. Oh, at the end of the show, there's a button that pops up. Friends, when I end this show, there's a get notified at the end of the screen where you just click it so that you get notified every time I go live. That's epic. I make a good income, but I'm miserable and burnt out. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and love to grind, but I have zero ideas for business. I also have 10 kids, so the risk. Risk factor of what stifles me. I'd love to do your garage sales idea and sell on other platforms, but I live in a rural town of 3,000 and there are hardly ever garage sales. I feel it in my bones that there's more to life than this. Any ideas for a guy like me to jump into? I love this person, this is Jeff. Jeff, I'm gonna fly you to New York to sit with me. Jeff. We just ask Jeff to come on. Oh, this is a great poll, Jeff. I need to meet a man that has 10 kids and wants a garage sale. That is a man I need to date. Jeff. But that's literally what can happen here. You better set your notifications. You never know, Charlie. You never know when I might just literally say to a random man with 10 children in a rural town in America, hey, man, I'm fine. You New York City. And by the way, this is real New York City. Like, this is what's outside. That's Madison Square Garden, y'. All. That's what you're looking at over there. That little curve to the left. That little curve. But that's Madison Square Garden. This is real New York City. I got it. This is real. Just duck train. This is real New York City. This is real New York City. We're in real New York City and now you're getting flown here. That's what can happen on this show. What questions we got? What's your advice for a 22 year old fucking party out? You're 22. You have it so good. Like, 2230 should be like, having fun and figuring out what you're into. But getting off of mommy and daddy's payroll and living humbly when people are like, figuring, like, when I say 22:30, like, just get off the payroll so no one controls you. So you're not, you're not, like, you're not some entitled brat. Go live with four people in a studio apartment and live your dream. Come to the big city, figure it out. Like, figure it. Like, follow your dreams. What do you want to do? All right, next questions. I need questions. G. Do you think that unscripted, raw, authentic content is on the rise? I mean, of course. What do you mean? Give me an example. What do you mean livestreaming? Or do you mean something different altogether? You don't have a script. You pick up your phone and you just talk to the camera. It's been that game. It's been that game that's worked for so many people and for other people. They need to make a whole skit and make it high production. Everyone's different. Like, I can't even believe we have lighting. So I don't look like death. I'm very happy. Like, I'm shocked we even got to that, you know, like, for me, it's easy to go like this, but for a lot of people, they can't hold an audience with 1400 like this and just entertain and, you know, educate and answer questions. They're actors. They don't want to do snl. I'm gonna star in SNL before I die. I'm gonna host SNL before I die. In the next 30 years, I'm gonna do something that's so culturally relevant that I'm gonna be asked and I'm gonna say yes. Thank you very much. And I'm gonna be like, live from New York, you know, and so that's how we're doing it. Alright, what else? What's the most important thing I should do in the first year of starting my business? Work every second. When you start a business, you're no longer an employee. No such thing as Saturday and Sunday, Thanksgiving. Take a bite of the turkey, take a scoop of cranberry, kiss your aunt and get back to work. Like that first year, you have to go hard a business. Friends, everybody's businesses go out of business. Watch this. Hey, everybody. Hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast. That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy. How many people. How many people have had a business go out of business? Look at this. It's gonna be everyone. You know, I've had two, like, people. It's hard. Businesses are hard. It's the hardest. So few people can do it. And we got into that era a couple years ago where everyone thought they could do it. Everyone. I'm gonna be an entrepreneur. Cool. I'm gonna be a male model that plays quarterback for the Jets. Like, okay. Say things that are impossible. Most people can't do it. It's hard. And by the way, let me be on the record as someone who can do it. There's nothing special about it. Meaning I feel great about it. But it's not like I'm curing polio. I'm just building a business. And that's nice. And, like, don't put entrepreneurs on a pedestal. Put nice entrepreneurs on a pedestal. But, like, don't even do that. Like, I don't know. That's Where I'm at with that? All right, questions. I want to go questions. Prophet nick in number 18. Colleen Moon in number 19. Spot harder of a refugee. It's hard, but I'm trying. Good for you. You wanna try? Oh, yeah. Let's get somebody up here. Let's do it. Yeah. Like Natalie. Diana. Yes. How are you, darling? Oh, wow. I can't believe it. You're on. Yes. You're on. I'm new to you for some strange reason. Well, thank you. How new? Is this your first time ever seeing me or before? Like. No, no, no, no, no. Life is the first time. Live is the first. And what about overall? When did you first stumble on my content through Jan Gottlieb? Probably a few months ago. Amazing. Well, it's so nice to meet you. How are you? Do you speak Russian? So what can I answer for you? Alrighty. I'm new to this. I'm aesthetics business and I'm new to this. And I hate to do what everybody else is doing and everybody saying, you know, look up the outliers and, you know, master the algorithm. And I feel that there's so much more to at least what I do. And I love how raw you are being and I'm trying to learn from you. So I'm just looking for some tips to be myself because that's what I ultimately, I love that. That's. I also succeed. I even asked AI, if AI was you, what would be my 30 day game plan? I think so. Listen, I think when I hear what you're saying is I think you really need to follow your intuition first before you listen to everybody else about being an outlier. Master the algorithm. I think you should make content and go live and be who you are. Like, do things that come natural to you and do them for several months before you adjust. One thing that why I've always really worked is I've always innovated because I always follow my intuition and what I want to do. And I also keep. I'm very. I always persevere. I really work through it. You know, you know, this about our culture. Like work ethic is not our problem. Yes, we work. We come from a place where like people just work. That's true. And so what I would tell you is go with your gut. Make the kind of content, go live and stick with it for three, four months, exactly how you feel. And then when it doesn't work, then start to take some different angles on it or tweaking. But I think being your true authentic self and talking about what you're interested in, you have to understand for everybody who's watching right now, you have to either be interesting or passionate, knowledgeable to make it work. Right. And you need to rely on all of those things. And that's a thing to focus on. I'm super passionate. My background is art and Russian and everything. I think you need to put out what you want to put out as often as possible for a long period of time and then adjust to the results, whether they're pro. But this would be more in Lives and Stories because this isn't like the type of content which is structured to convert. Correct. This is brand everybody. When I hear you say everybody wants to convert, that's sales. What you want to do is you want to build as much brand as possible. Sales is great too. Like selling on. I don't know, do you sell a physical product? Service, service. So then what you want to do is build brand, let people discover you and Then click the URLs in your profile to buy your services. All right, good luck. Thank you. Thank you. All right, we got a special guest here, everyone. I wanted a gentleman who emailed to come in here, tell your story. This is going to be a five minute little. Five minute thing, but a nice little gesture. Let's. Let's have this moment together. Tell everybody what happened, how you got here. Is that his or mine? Amazing. Hi, everybody. About 15 years ago, 12 years ago, I was struggling a little bit. I saw some of his social media posts, commented, he commented back, actually followed. Let me jump in here real quick, everybody. I see you. Brandon Cormier, 6767 Christy Ramirez Too much as Razbataz Derrick Blake Gigi West Travels. Listen to me. If you're trying to build an audience and a movement, you have to reply to your comments and your DMs. From 2007 to 2011, I literally replied to every single tweet and every email I got. All of them, according to 3 and 4 in the Morning. All of them. Go ahead. Yeah, I mean, I can vouch for it. He replied to me and I had zero followers. But I was trying to figure out how to. And it was weird because it's not. I don't know how to explain this, but when I stopped watching you sounds weird and I started listening to you, it was a very different experience because you pop up my feet a lot. I mean, my feet a lot. But I wasn't just listening, I was watching the content. But when you're really listening, it wasn't about Making money. It was about just being a good person, being happy in your life, and, you know, just the real stuff, guiding through. And it worked because once your emotional foundation's right, then you can get through the hardships of actually building a business. If you're trying to build something and make money while your emotional stability is weak, you will fold at every tough turn. And it seemed. It makes sense when you say it. And once you realize it, you're like, oh, yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Well, you don't think about it on your own. What did you change? I started instead of focusing on the money. I really wasn't making any then, but instead of focusing on it, I decided I'm just gonna focus on building a family. Because the other thing he said was, can I curse on him? You know what's funny? The algorithm scares me. Usually I love cursing, but don't curse, but use frigging. Or. So one of your posts said, nobody freaking cares. That's right. Or nobody gives a crap. And because of that, I said, you know what? If you want somebody to be there and be supportive, you have to build that on your own. So I built. Sorry. I built the family. I started focusing on family and pushing forward in that aspect. And when I accomplished that, everything just fell into place. And then I started with the garage sales. I became a VP of sale. I became the VP of sales for as Seen on TV Bulbhead. Once that happened, I still continue with garage sales because I figured out the first thing I did was I bought a. I got it for free off Marketplace. Facebook. Marketplace was atv. I fixed it, sold it, made a thousand dollars, went back, and then I was like, this is great. So then I started doing trade shows. Same thing you said, check. I tried small things. I can't fix the tv. Yeah, small things. But then I started doing trade shows. That was another thing you said. You're like, well, check out trade shows. If you want to find printers, if you want to find this, you want to find that did trade shows. Then I started buying booths at trade shows. And now, I mean, I'm to the point where I donate a lot of the stuff, but it all worked. And just being a good person and really not caring what anybody thinks, It's a superpower, dude. I know. It's hard, too, though. It's hard once you don't care about any. If you don't just say it, you really do it. Sorry, guys, I'm looking at it. No worries, no worries. Once you really do it, it's a superpower Life gets a lot better. A lot better. Like insanely better better. But it did take me 15 years, so. Well, it's the hardest thing, but it's working now. That's right. You got there. Most people. Most people, unfortunately on earth, go to the ground not getting there. And the amount too. You're the only one who didn't say make. You're gonna make millions of dollars in weeks. Everybody else like, oh, buy this, do this. You're gonna make a lot of money. And you didn't say that. You were like, just find a way. I find. I forget how much money you said. I apologize. But you said something like, I don't know if it was 50,000 or 40,000. Then you're like, if you make that and you're happy, you win a life. That's right. And I said, I want to win a life. I need more than that. I figured out what I needed. I made that, became happy. And now I just scale. What Zootopia 2 has come home to Disney Plus. We just lost how many millions of dollars? Say $16 million. That's right. So you walked in this room and you said, we just lost. I. We just lost 16 million dollar accounts. An account that pays us 16 million dollars. I did. Right. My head was low. Right. And you were. You were white as a ghost. Yeah. And you. And I had a lot of hair back. And what did I say? Let's focus on perfect SMAs. And I said, $16 million. And you said, perfect SMAs. And how long were you in this office explaining the 16 million dollar loss? How long were you actually in this office? I lingered because I was so freaked out by it being like, what now? And then I just walked out about 10 seconds later. From zero. From zero to 10. 10 being that I was devastated and I did not know how to recover. If 10 was I did not know how to recover and 0 was, I could care less. What number would you put on my reaction on our $16 million client loss? Out of nowhere, less than 1. Great. Everybody. So how do you react like a fucking. Like a gangster and you just move on. You can't cry over spilled milk. You can't. Yes, I know about Quinnan. I was talking about more than Quinnan. So that's it. Everybody. Like, that's how I deal with it. Like, what am I gonna do? Cry? The ways to fix that loss that Nick had was to have it fixed prior. It's over. It just happens, you know. You know, like there's, you know, it just is what it is. Everybody, like, you. What do you. You get over it by getting over it. Like, what are you gonna cry? That's it. Everybody, like, you know, no crying in baseball. Like you move on. The New York jets are my favorite team in the world. Literally. Show that. Show that. Take that he man sign down. Take that he man sign down away. That is Sauce Gardner. We rep him. We literally rep him at vaynersports. My favorite team and my favorite player. We rep him and now he just got traded and I was shook. But there's no crying. You have to move on. You almost canceled. I did almost cancel the show. That is true. An sma. An SMA is a social media ad. It is an organic post on social media SMAs are organic social media posts. I want vaynermedia to be the greatest agency in the world making social media posts. I want all of you, my friends on this show right now to be great at doing social media posts. I want you to be great, mc. I want you to be great. I need everybody to answer how good they are at social media organic posts. How good are you? One to ten. I need everybody to answer one to ten right now. One to ten, answer me. Prophet Nick, good to see you. Jessica Tripper, good to see you. Sam. Brain mystery. You know, like, I need to know what you are. One to ten. Yes. Train. I'm a furloughed government employee. You know what, slow it down. I'm a furloughed government employee. I have not been paid in a month. How should I pivot from this to make money? I'm assuming. You know what, listen, my number one belief is that selling stuff that's laying around your house, every one of you probably has hundreds of dollars, if not thousands of dollars, if not tens of thousands of dollars of stuff in your house right now, in your basement, in your closet, in your garage, in your attic of stuff you can sell on other platforms on TikTok, shop on all the marketplaces, and I could not recommend more. You sell stuff when you were furloughed and you're just sitting around saying, what can I do? Sell stuff on the Internet, live shopping and marketplaces. Sid, you got a question? I got one, Yep. Someone said, how do I get good at making content besides reps and gee, I think the answer is reps. Right? Of course. The answer's reps. Like you don't get good at anything unless you put in practice. The great Allen Iverson said practice. We're talking about practice from a negative place. And I understand why. For me, practice is the greatest place. Practice is the punchline. Like eating the dirt. Like getting in there. Sold extra clothes on Facebook. Marketplace made $700. VA just said that. How many people here sell on certain platforms and made some side cash in the last month? What do you sell? Where? For how much money? Like, we need to answer that. So, yeah, practice is the punchline. I put out a deck. Mods. Can the mods put in the URL or pin the deck that I made. Argh. I'm a pirate. You know, like, you know, like all these plat. Look at that, look at, look at, look at all these things going on in chat. People make money. Can't cry. Gotta sell stuff. Can't cry. Gotta sell stuff. Can't cry, gotta sell stuff situation. How would your marketing strategy change if you were in South Africa? Not much. Like, I believe in social media, organic marketing, and South Africa's ripping hot for social. You know, I'm obsessed with Nigeria right now, like the continent of Africa, let alone South Africa, which is one of the most advanced economies. The data around how many people are consuming Facebook, Instagram, TikTok in South Africa is bananas. And that's like, I just don't understand, like everybody. I'm giving you the by the way, you know who I am? I'm the health and wellness guy that says eat well balanced fruits and vegetables, you want to lose weight, eat more protein, cut your carbs down, cut your sugar down, go to the gym, get good sleep, and miraculously good things happen. Sid, you remember when I got my crap together and I literally lost 35 pounds? You remember? Remember how that transformation was? I looked like a different human. I felt better. Like, this is all work, my friends. Listen, I'm gonna tell you something that nobody wants to hear. It's all work. It's all work. Listen to me, it's work. I have bad news. I know everybody's gonna tell you there's some sort of weird secret and they've got the system. And here's the angle. It's not true. It's work. It's God damn work. It's lots of work. That back camera's hot. Like, it's work, my friends. It's work. Like, I'm sorry, like, I have bad news. It's work. It's work, everybody. It's really bad news. It's work. Yerg, it's work. Fleur, it's work. Ali, it's work. Say it with me, everyone. Work. Let's all just do it. Work. It's work. Casa de Buuela. I see you, Namita. Prophet. Nick. It's work, everybody. It's work. Lizette. It's work. It's work, everybody. It's work. It's work. And it's more work. And then guess what happens after that. It's work. This is work. Like, you want something, you have to work for it. Want muscles? Work. Want a good relationship? Healthy work. Want to fix your situation with mom and dad? Emotional work. Want to make money? You got to wake up at 6 o' clock in the morning on a Saturday and go to the flea market and then the garage sales come home, pee, take a drink and start posting on platforms and go live on TikTok. This is all work. It's called work. Do you understand what you want? You want the secret? It's called work. You know what's really interesting? It's called work. Everyone. The answer's work. Work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work. Like, we gotta work. Like, what do you want? Everyone's like, ah, I want it like people were when the government printed all that money and gave it to everyone during COVID I was sad we didn't take it at Vayner. One of my proudest moments, you know that? No, that's right. Did not take it. PPP didn't take it. Fucking did not take it. Everybody else taking it and buying like Dom P. Everybody who wasted their check from COVID What did you buy? Say wasted colon and tell me what you bought. Who wasted their check from the government? When they printed money out of thin air and gave it to you, what did you spend it on? Say wasted colon and tell me what you bought. Liquor. Wasted Food. Tv. You know, Florida. You know? Yeah. You know, a lot of people didn't waste it based on what I'm seeing, but a lot of people wasted. Let's be. Listen, let's make a pact here. Let's all make a pact. Like, let's pinky swear. Everybody pinky swear me. Everybody. Let's pinky swear. Charlie, dude, we're making a pack here. We're doing it. We're making a pact here. We're keeping it. We're keeping it authentic and vulnerable. When we go live here, everybody, we're keeping it authentic and vulnerable. We're gonna be authentic and vulnerable. I need some pinky swear. Like, let's go, Ray. What else you guys got? Greats. Oh, you go court. Court. Ladies first. Court. I manage an IT internship program helping college students with their interpersonal skills. The biggest challenges I've seen over the past decade when learning how to work in corporate are not communicating enough and not using time management for success. What are some trends you think the next generation of leaders should understand from an interpersonal skills perspective to be prepared for their career? All right, I see that we couldn't hear her, so that was on us. You want to hand it to her, but basically, I'll recap it. Basically, it's somebody who's teaching interpersonal skills to the youngsters. Right? And so what I think the issue is is that people are just insecure. Like, everyone's like, oh, these kids don't know how to do eye contact or they don't know. I knew unlimited kids in the 80s and 90s who did not do eye contact. I Hate that we keep throwing this at Gen Z and Gen Alpha. That they're this or they're that. They're honestly, they're way less different than they. They're way less different than they want to think. I love like we want to save the world, but they're buying the most dumb shit stuff stuff ever. Gen Z buys nonsense. Like they want to save the world and the environment and they buy fast, fast fashion products left and right. Let's save the world. But let's buy all this dumb crap because wanna flex. Cause I got this new watch. Like you know, they're not that different. What I would say is this is about. What we do have an issue with is over coddling. We gave away way too many 8th place trophies. We took care of too many things for the kids. Too many parents are paying for their kids livelihood. Kids don't work anymore. Like that's a whole nother. This is the new phenomenon that's driving me crazy. Everybody. Isn't it crazy how nobody has high school jobs anymore? And Sid, do you know why a lot of them don't have high school jobs? Cause they're like, they're deep into sports. Cause their parents think they're going to the league. I've got something else. Here's another secret. Your kid's not gonna be a professional athlete. Your kid's not making it to the league. Like it's not happening. So like all these parents train are like, oh, you don't get it. You don't get it, Gary. My son's like full time lacrosse. He's full time lacrosse. No, no, you don't get it. You buying four lacrosse sticks for your son is doing you no favors. He needs to go work at Walmart. Then he'll be a man. Him getting carpooled to his third lacrosse match isn't doing it. Do you think teenagers should wear construction to build grit? Cause that's what I did and that's how I made money. Was working construction over. But why don't you have enough grit? Because I've been traveling with you. What happened with you? How long should work construction. I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Look, I think blue collar activity lead to stronger men and women. Yes, I do. I don't know what else to tell you. Like I think good men. I love when somebody was trying to. Now they see me as a millionaire. Like have you ever did hard labor? I laughed my ass off when somebody was trying to troll me in the. Did I do Hard labor. I literally worked from 14 to 18 years old every weekend, every spring break and winter break and every single day of my summer vacation slugging cases of beer, liquor and wine for 12 to 15 hours a day. I only did hard labor. And do I think that mattered? I do. I think me bagging ice at 14 years old in the basement in a dungy like Goonies, remember sloth and Goonies. Like I was in like a Goonies like dungeon, shoveling ice into a bag, making ice for 12 hours a day with two 20 year olds that hated my dad and life and would like give me noogies and wedgies and punch me and like, and I was just like taking it. Like, do I think that made me stronger than some kid who's like constantly going to carpools and is on the tennis team? Yes. Yes. I think I can beat that person. Yes. I think that we have lost grit. I think we take care of way too many things for our kids. And I think a lot of here, there's a lot of parents here that are well intended and want to do right by their child, but they've created over coddled, non functional 27 year old men who are borrowing, not borrowing, taking money from their parents, crying, and mommy's still taking care of them. What's a nookie again? I asked for that. This is a nookie, brother. Good. It hurts, right? It's a noogie, bro. I walked into that. Yeah, you did. Yeah, you did. So, all right. And by the way, I worked too much. Like, let me, let me, let me, let me say, if my parents were both sitting here right now and this has been a big topic for them towards me the last five, 10 years, they don't think they did it right. They think they stripped me of my childhood way too early. Especially watching, like how, you know, like they, they, they feel like it was too far and like, I don't resent them. I was a contributor. I was a DNF student. My mom was like, if you're not gonna get good grades, you're gonna work. I was happy to help my dad. I like business, but balance comes in all forms. Like, to me, maybe I could have, like, to me, if there was balance, it would've been nice to have one week in the summer to like play and hang out with my friends. I'm not, I'm not talking about every other week or every other weekend. Like, it was like, no one will know. Brandon will know, you know, like Bobby will know. Like nobody really knows. So chupo says, is this guy still around? Yes. And Chupo, you are here. Big shout out to you. Chupo. Hope you're super well, brother. Super loved. I am so around. In fact, I haven't even become. I haven't even begun to be around. Chupo, I'm gonna be in your feed, Chupo, so much. You're gonna have to, like, delete social media, Chupo, if you don't want to see me. Like, I haven't even started. Chupo, Chupo. I'm like, I'm so around that it's like. It's like. It's ridiculous. Chupo, I'm gonna be so in it. Chupo, like, Chupo, I'm very around. I'm like, Chupo'd around. Go ahead, brother. Someone in chat says, why do millionaires get mad when you ask them questions? What do you mean? I think it's more when you were talking about the great piece, like, working hard and like, people saying, oh, it's easy for you when you're asking those questions. And like, everyone's saying it's easy for you to say that, but, like, you've worked your way to where you're at. Where is it? Like, I'm not mad. Even just assuming I'm not mad. Well, in general, look, look, I'm never mad. I'm desperate. I'm desperate for people on this stream right now to get to the place they want to. And I believe that the only way to do that is to look in the mirror and try to attack it, you know, Like, I don't know. Like, I just feel like I want it for people because it's so good and it's intoxicating for me when I meet people like the gentleman we just had on where their life changed. Like, to me, I've been good emotionally my whole life. Thus I want it for others. I get passionate other people. I don't know. Like, I think one of the biggest issues in our world is that people think they're better than. I don't like where people. I think humility is a lacking skill. Like, for example, I genuinely do not believe. I mean this dead ass. I do not believe I'm better than anybody in this room right now. I do not believe I am better than the four of you. I do not. I think I'm a better entrepreneur than you, you know, but I don't think I'm better than you. And I think, like, too many people think that financial success. We've lost our way in society where we, like, allow people who've made more money be treated as better than. It's the wrong scorecard. I think it's the wrong scorecard. And so it's just not how I see the world. I know so many people that have so much money that I have no respect for, like, goose egg. And I know so many people who make between 50 and $150,000 from that I respect tremendously. I think humanity, you know, is in a really funny place right now. And again, me, everybody in the chat right now adding on to this conversation, I don't think. I don't think our judgment, whatever your thing, it could be anything. Canva helps you make that thing a thing. Canva is a simple online tool thing. It's a way to design, with our magic AI tool, things you can social media your thing, generate images or videos of your thing, make decks for presentations to show your thing, whatever needs to be done for your thing. Canva can make it an even better and bigger thing. Canva, the thing that makes anything a thing. Individuals has any validity. I'm talking in the macro, but I don't know. I don't know. That's where I'm at. G. Someone earlier asked, how do I. How do I show up as my most authentic when I'm still trying to find myself? By being comfortable with who you are on the journey. I'm gonna be different in three years, too. I'm gonna be different in three years, too. Like, you don't judge yourself on today. We're all everybody. Everybody is a work in progress, getting better, getting worse, getting different. Like, we're just all living. Like, we're just like, why are you even judging yourself? I don't even. Everyone's like, you're so authentic. I've never. I'm never. Like, I want to be authentic. I'm just like, I want to be me. I want to be me, you know, Like. Well, that was a very bad execution of an NSYNC song. It's gonna be me. I don't know. I just. I just want everyone to, like, like, everyone is good enough. Like, everyone is really fine. Like, when people, like, I don't understand why people value other people's opinions. Let's role play. Sid say to me, hey, Gary Vee, I don't like your stuff. Go ahead, hey, Gary Vee, I don't like your stuff. Fuck you, Sid. All right, there we go. Easy. That's kind of where I'm at. Like, you know, I don't know what you want from me. Like, why are you. Why are you all in a place where, like, you would think, like, someone is upset. Thank you for the Yamava thing. Thank you, Osamena. I loved being a Yamava in that talk. Like, you know, like, that's it. Like, if you don't like me, I respect that. But I'm not trying to do anything wrong. Why? Why? Why are you all valuing someone else's opinion? If you are coming from a good place, you're just trying out here. Like, I don't understand why you need everyone's opinion outside validation. Why we need the likes. Why we need the follows. Why we need the, you know, I don't understand it. Learn how to forgive. We're going to learn how to forgive around here. TikTok live 2026. I'm going bananas. I'm going to be on all the time, and my number one goal is to get you to all learn how to forgive. If you learn, kill, kill Gore, I see you wine, library, tv. If I teach you all how to forgive, my forgiveness level is epic. Charlie, you have no idea. I am a forgiving phenomenon. I'm a forgiving phenomenon. I'm one of the great forgivers of all time. I am one of the great forgivers of all time. I'm so good at it because I have deep compassion, sympathy, and empathy for why someone would do wrong wrong by me. And I do not have my feelings hurt by someone's aggressively bad actions towards me, let alone a trolling comment in here. You know why I can go live? Cause I see the negative stuff. I like it. I like it. I like it when you're like, gary, you're the worst. I'm like, ooh, you're someone I'm gonna help. Gary, you suck. You're the worst. You were done 10 years ago. I'm like, you know what I see? If I see that from Johnny Pants, I'm like, ooh, Johnny Pants, I'm going to get you and I'm going to help you because I'm going to love you. Everybody. If you enjoyed this podcast, please go back and look at the prior episodes. They're loaded. I appreciate your attention and thanks for being part of this journey. See you later.
