Gary Math A asks, what's the best advice I'm gonna give my team? I'm talking to them before the end of the year.
Gary Vaynerchuk
The best advice is the truth that they can hear. Jack Nicholson in that movie with fucking Tom Cruise was right. Like, you can't handle the truth. All employees are like, I just want transparency from my bosses. But then when the boss comes on and goes, look, 70% of you over the next 12 months are probably gonna lose your job because of AI, everyone shits their fucking pants. So for me, you know this. You've seen a lot of my all hands. I try to give as much as I can that's authentic to them and optimistic and real and honest. But then you have to hold back some, a little something because you don't want to create pan. If the president of the United States came out, was like, you know, next two years, like, probably war with China, the fuck do you think happens? Like, would it be like, oh, go, let's go to the bucket. You want to go out tonight for the beer? Like, like, we gotta fucking. As leaders, you gotta give as much as you can, my man, but you gotta, like, you gotta contain some of your fears and figure them out so that you can deliver. Math A Academy. Love it.

Emmy's Kitchen uk Emmy's Kitchen UK is wondering about brand cohesion. How do I start to have more.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Cohesion across my brand by having less cohesion? People have this Fucking ideology about brand cohesion. People want relevance, not cohesion. Cohesion leads to lack of creativity and boardroom bullshit. It leads to fucking following the same adjectives, the same color schemes. And it's all subjective opinions of three fucking individuals in straight politics on what is cohesive and on brand. I hate that shit. Yes, Sid, what's your opinion on the Instagram grid? What is my opinion about the Instagram grid? You know what my opinion on the Instagram grid is? The Instagram grid is killing people's lives on this chat. There are people. Thank you for coming from the text. Roberto. There are people here. How many people just came from my text that are thrilled to come here because you actually have a TikTok. Real quick. What's that? Look at the thumb.
Audience Member / Participant
That's the thumb.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's the thumb. Oh, that's awesome. No way. How many people came from the text and are thrilled that I'm live on TikTok? Cause you actually have a TikTok, but I'm always pushing you and whatnot, and you don't want to download another app. So you're finally here and you're happy.
Audience Member / Participant
Scott Sampson wants to know as I.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Let me finish this real quick. I apologize. The grid is fucking everyone up. All of you are so worried about the grid when 99% of the content that's being consumed from you comes in the feedback. And you want your grid to look right. Me and Mona have this fight all the time. She's all about her grid. I'm definitely not about her grid. At least not that grid. So I hate it. I hate that people are locked into the fucking grid. They like this fancy fucking grid. Nobody gives a fuck about your grid. If you don't make content that's gonna be seen on the fucking feed, in the feed, no one's gonna end up being in your grid. How the fuck you can get people to your grid if your content gets 13 fucking views? Cause you love your fucking grid. Big shout out to War Thunder Crane. All right, you were asking. Hey, everybody. Hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast. That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy.

Where would you suggest to go sell a Marvel and DC comic collection? It was my dad's collection, asks Sue.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Sue. I would first highly recommend looking up the individual comics on ebay. Then I would go to a local comic store. I find that local comic stores have very good intent. They're not looking to rip people off to just get a sense of the collection. But I would do the work yourself first. I would definitely do the work yourself first to make sure you know what it is. And so eBay, four or five hours. Like really, really do the work. I think a lot of times people are not looking to do the work and that is a mistake. Believe that. A lot of times we're just like, oh, I'm just trust this comic book expert. And then that's it. You know what I mean?
Audience Member / Participant
People want to know, where do you get these hats?
Gary Vaynerchuk
This hat is available@veefriends.com when we launch them. So there's a friends cap on Instagram if somebody can. If somebody from the team. I don't know what's going on with mods from Vee friends or from Get Team GaryVee, but if we can spam heavy shout out. Elizabeth. Yeah, Elizabeth. I just made my first stranger. Nice eBay sales five minutes ago. Let's go. I love it. My only problem is location where I am behind the scenes. Then use ebay. Just look it up. Look it all up.
Audience Member / Participant
Because of you, I got over myself, started posting and it's so fun. Thank you.
Can you get as to this morning, Going live on whatnot for a Show and now TikTok?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yeah, I'm just doing different things, you know, I'm a multi dimensional boy, you know, and that's what it is. And that's. I'm trying different platforms. I'm trying different things. You ate your first Snickers ever. Yeah, it was the craziest.
Audience Member / Participant
It was mid. It was a little mid.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Okay. You don't like it? What do you like?
Audience Member / Participant
Tyler was flaming me. I said, milky Way's my favorite.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Jesus Christ. Milky Way's glow. I fucking. I actually think Milky Way might be the worst thing. You can't be bar in the world. I actually think it's decent people.
Audience Member / Participant
I've never had a Snickers with.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I like Milky Way, but it's chocolate and it's caramel. How's that bad? It's classic. It's a bottom. It's here. It's a bottom here. So what are your.
Audience Member / Participant
What's your like, top three?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Charleston shoe. Charleston shoe. The best candy bar of all time is whatchamacallit. And then 100 grand.
Audience Member / Participant
100 grand is really good. I do like 100 grand.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I just fucking crushed it. Watch how happy everyone is. Everyone's like, definitely giving me love. Those are three gangsters.
Audience Member / Participant
I don't know.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Where are you on the candy bar game? I like three Musketeers. Three Musketeers. Reese's actually. Honestly, I've been enjoying Peaceables peanut butter bunch more than. Oh, little pieces.
Audience Member / Participant
Yeah, the hate the three Musketeers hate that I got this morning.
What would the top three skills you would focus on to stay valuable in the next five years? Pretty broad question.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Have your entire AI app game down. It is a requirement. It's no different than knowing how to navigate the Internet or how to use a computer in different generations. No one watching this, no one watching this is allowed to fucking mail it in on. On AI. Every single person here must, must go to ChatGPT and type in every week. What are the five AI apps that have exploded this year for lawyers, for accountants, for marketers. Like you must, must, must do that. And it is just a requirement. So that's number one. Number two, the reverse, the complete other side of the pillow. The human skills. The looking in the eye, the saying hello, asking a boy or girl out on a date. Rolling up on someone in a cafeteria or airport and say, what's up? Human. Human skills. Not being shy, not being insecure, like really pushing yourself on human skills. All the good things that happen in life come from other humans and your relationship with other humans. Everyone in here who's like, I fucking hate humans. Humans suck. I like dogs and I hate humans because dogs unconditionally love you and humans are all fucked up your relationship. Ready, everybody? What do you feel about humans right now? The rest of humans? Other humans from 1 to 10, give me a number and a sentence or two. Everyone's a sellout. Da, da, da. Like, I think, I think when people struggle with other people, that's something we need to work on. And governments, politicians, the media have done a great job of getting us to be scared of each other. Scared of each other, like, make us hate each other. And I'm telling you, your feeling towards everybody else right now. Strength in seven. Thank you so much. Going crazy. Strength. Strengthen is seven. Is he trying to win this shit? What's he doing? Moves the leaderboard. Yeah. Strengthen is seven is like he's a 12. He's like, yeah, he's just moving, moving. Anyway, your relationship. Oh, Mikey B. Been a fan since the nation, actually. Mikey B. Thank you for that. Anyway, let me finish my thought. The way you view the rest of people, like your relationship with gen pop. Not a person, not like a couple people in your class. I'm talking about like people as a whole is the great indicator of what's gonna happen in your life. Hey, everybody. Hope you're enjoying the podcast right now. Make sure you follow the podcast. That's why I'm interrupting. Let's keep going on this show, but follow the podcast. It'll make my mom super happy.

Do you think a clothing brand for babies children could become successful if marketed properly?
Gary Vaynerchuk
No. Marianne, you know, let's do Morgan. I'm ready for Morgan.
Audience Member / Participant
Marianne seems very interested.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Mike is hot this mic. I don't know.
Audience Member / Participant
Are we double? Are we crossover?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I don't know. We'll see. How are we with sound, everybody? Thank you for coming from Tex. Happy Halloween. Lovely Ann. Great to see you. Oh, we got Morgan coming, I think. Yes. Hey, Morgan.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Hi, Gary.
Gary Vaynerchuk
How are you? Good. Where are you?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I am currently working from home.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Okay.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
So I asked you to step away.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, it's a pleasure to see you. How are things? Things are going.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I've been trying to work on my advice my nine to five years, but I'm just.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Hey. Hey, Morgue. Are you. Do you have us. Do you have, like, me on the show? Do you have me on your phone or something? There's a little bit of a feedback with you talking. Yeah, I have. No, my phone. All right, now we're good. Go ahead.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
So I was looking to find any tips or tricks that you could provide. Trying to work on a side hustle by number five.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Got it. Okay, cool. Side hustles, I think, are required. You can take her off. Thank you. Because of the echoing. Great. Thank you for being on. I'll answer this for you. Side hustles require self awareness. You know one of my favorite veefriends. If you don't know what veefriends is, it's my Pokemon meets Marvel universe. Please go to veefriends and learn about it. If you don't know veefriends, dot and you know the rest, maybe that will stop the AI algorithm. If you don't know. If you don't know what self awareness is, if you don't know who the self aware hair is. My little favorite rabbit in Vivran's world, you're making a huge mistake. Because side hustles require you loving it. You need to really love it. Everybody, if you're gonna do a side hustle, please make it about something you love because you're working on it from 6, 7pm until midnight. What did I get that for? Well, tell me.
Audience Member / Participant
Redirects users to purchase products outside.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Love it. Love it. I love it. What's that? Yeah, that's good. I'm impressed. AI, I love you, TikTok. AI, we're friends. Should we. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. It's 10. It won't recommend me for a while, but I'm not scared because all these people share, share, share this show. Watch how many people share the show. Now it's us against the AI. We're gonna. We're gonna win this. We're definitely not.
Audience Member / Participant
Thin man says, I'm real person.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I really, really, really think that it requires you to love it. Like, if trane was like, gary, what do I do as a side hustle? I'm like, flip Star wars stuff. Because if you're working all day from seven to midnight, you're gonna need the ability to have the energy to go crazy. Like, side hustles require going crazy, and you have to go hard, and you're only gonna go hard about something you like. The stuff you would go home and use to relax is the stuff that your side hustle should be about. If you go home and watch sports, it might be about sports. Sports betting. If you're. Video games, you know, cocktails, you know, hope you're not working all day. And, like, how many go home? How many of you hate your job so much? You go nine to five. You come home and you need a beverage or a recreational thing to, like, unwind. Say that's me. Because, like, you know, like, that's what you want to avoid. It's like you're using alcohol or natural plants to, like, get yourself right after a day of work, you need another job. Like, crazylady needs a different job. And then. And then if Amy's hot mess era if she's like, that's me. If she's like. Easy for you to say, Gary. Like, no, it's easy to get another job. It's called realizing that you hate it. And instead of coming home and having some Jack Daniels, have some LinkedIn. Don't drink Jack Daniels. Execute on LinkedIn. Andy, what is up? Let's go. Andy's in the building. Our old friend. Anyway, yes, there's also real life networking. Very nice. Amy had an interview yesterday. Please, everybody, every listen. This is something I've never said so eloquently because I can feel it's about to come out. The number one thing. Who hates their job? Everybody. Put hates job in the chat. I need everybody right now of all 500 of you, train, train, let's go. I need everybody to tell me if you hate your job. Say hate job in here. I need it don't say love job. Don't say unemployment. Please, like the chat's fast enough. I need Just hate job. All right, if you hate your job, friends, you must understand this. Your number one job when you hate your job is to be interviewing, making content on LinkedIn. Like there's nothing else. There's nothing else you should be doing. Definitely after your job. Definitely on the weekends. And fuck it. Even though I own a company that has 2,500 people right now, many of which are not working, even though I'm paying them. Even when you're not, even when you're in your job, your job is to interview and reach out to other jobs and make content for jobs. This is it, friends. This is it. You must get out. Having a job you hate that takes up half your hours in a week is just insanity and must be addressed. And again. Oh, Gary, you're delusional. It's hard out here. People are losing jobs like crazy. AI, no shit, Dick. But you're miserable. The fuck do you want from me? You're miserable and you're telling me no, no, no. How about you're lazy, lazy, lazy. Maybe you hate your job because you suck at your job and they hate you. If you are not willing to fight to get out of a job, you fucking hate. What the fuck are you doing? So that's it. No fucking excuses. Ayo. We established that here last time. Accountability and optimism. Just so all of you, who's here for the first time ever? Who's here for the first time ever? Who's here for the first time ever? Say first time ever. Cause then you don't know what AO is. How many people are here for the second time for everybody yesterday. And you know exactly what AO is. What's up? We gotta get the camera there. There we go. What's your name, bro? Where are you from?
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
Rob D. From originally New York. Long Island, New York. We're now down in South Carolina. All right, so I'm part of the fan store, first of all. So thank you for that. A little bit of traction. I'm getting a bunch of people to join my community, which is cool.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Amazing.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
My question, though, has to do with. I have a record store and my capital, like, my cash flow, is pretty small. I have the opportunity to buy some large record collections, but I do not have the money to do. So what's some of the creative things.
Gary Vaynerchuk
You can come up with? I got it. You ready? Yeah. I want you to create the SPV program at your record store and email all your customers What SPV stands for in investing world is special purpose vehicle. You are going to email out to your community. I assume you have an email service, maybe text, social media. Yes. You're going to email announcing the Black Circle Records SPV program. SPB stands for special purpose vehicle. Some of you are in finance and investing and you know what this means. I'm creating the version of that for my record store. What does this mean? It means I have opportunities often to buy crazy big collections. But sometimes the nature of my business restricts cash flow. In the SPB program, you, customer or investor can put up the dollars. You then get all then the dollars that you put up. Give me an example of a big record collection that you could buy that you think you can sell in a year. Give me a for instance, there's one.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
Up in Chicago that's probably upwards of $10,000 that I could probably turn into about 50 in a year.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Great. You say, hey, the SPB program is $10,000. You investor in my community put up 10K. When I start selling this, the first $10,000 I get back from this goes to you, you the investor. And then every dollar of profit that I make in investment land, it's 80, 20, right. Where you keep 80 after you pay back, they get, you know, 20. Excuse me, you get 20, you give them. So basically you say you give me $10,000 and then every dollar I make after that, you get 80 cents on the dollar and I get 20 cents on a dollar. Now you could be more aggressive and be 50, 50, you could play with it a little bit. 10,000 is not a lot of money. So like it's a lot of money, but it might not be a lot of money. For someone who's used to investing, there may be somebody in your customer base who wants to give you 10k when they get on a call with you and have the real conversation, if you say, hey, it's 50, you say, hey, conservatively I think I can get 40 in a year. If they're like, wait, so I put up 10k, I get the first 10k back on our system. So they have to trust you, you will pay them back. And then the next 30,000 that's made in profit, I get 15,000 and you get 15,000. There are people who are going to do that.
Audience Member / Participant
We need to turn down Gary's mic.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, no, I mean, what do you mean? Did you court? We're good? Yeah. Okay, it's good now. Should I hold it, you think? Nope, you're good? Yeah. Good. Okay. Okay. That's it. That's what we need to do.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
Gary, thank you so much, man.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Does that make sense? Does that, does that make sense to you?
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
It makes a lot of sense and it's something I never thought about and I'm not very business savvy. So you just gave me a great idea. Thank you.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, good news for you. I am very business savvy and I've thought about it a lot.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
That's why, that's why I asked.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's why I'm here, baby. Let's go, Rob D. Let's go, Rob D. Let's go. All right, Good luck, bro. Here's a simple one.
Audience Member / Participant
We got what's trending?
Gary Vaynerchuk
What's trending? That's a good question. I really do think that AI Content and AI influencers is a very big trend. I believe that people should pay attention to that. I believe that there's a lot going on with clean eating. Some very bullish on healthy and clean product. So obviously I'm very affected by knowing that because of my wife Mona, so deep in that world. But I can see so many, so many people getting into a place where people are trying to eat the same thing. Like what's the clean court brought up? Beastables. But there's also like, you know, it gets Justin's that make like the cleaner Reese's. Like people try to eat the cleaner version of what they love. So like how do I have a milkshake that's clean, right? Like Mona has like, was craving like bagel and oh, we need a. He's still in here. Is that on us or is that on him? It's on me. You got no worries, you know, like cream cheese made out of parsnips that are fermented like actually. Right? So like the clean movement I think is a huge trend. I have a deep cut trend. I think somewhere in the next five years we're gonna go to the clean shaven trend again. Like the friends era.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
I got this.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I feel facial hair has now been locked in for 20 years. Trains rocking it right now. I feel like facial hair has been rocking it, owning it for like 20 years. I have a feeling like something's gonna happen and like the clean clean. I actually think both clean and the dress up. I feel somewhere in the next five to ten years, the 27 year old dude is literally suited up, 1920s style and clean shaven just cause we've gotten so casual and so facial hair that after a while it goes the other way. And I view this like Jeans, right? Jeans were fully baggy when I was coming up then. Tight, real tight, tight jeans. Really inappropriately tight. I think dudes that look back at their jeans in 2816 are like, what the fuck? And now we're baggy as fuck. Buck 90s jean shorts are back. Yeah, shorts are over.
Audience Member / Participant
The biggest clean shave. You know that was always.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, that's cause you can't grow. You can't grow. There was that part. You were clean shaven by requirement. Genetics. Genetics. I'm very big on people. Another big trend that I'm obsessed with is businesses that have nothing to do with technology. Rock climbing, hiking, walk clubs, restaurants that do not let you use devices in them. Actually, it's a good one. Court would you go to if you heard like if you were just like in the office and someone was this restaurant's killer. But it's kind of crazy. Like you literally have to put your phone in a locker when you come. How do you react to that right now? Sid train. I've been to this. It'd be good discipline.
Audience Member / Participant
I'd like it.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I'd be interested.
Audience Member / Participant
I already have a foot phone. That's like music to my age.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Are you fully flipped?
Audience Member / Participant
No, no, I have this but like when I go home and but half.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I like it. I like it. I got my own flip phone too. That's like me saying I have a bike. I also. I have a bicycle. I have a bicycle. Doesn't mean I ride my bike to work. Come on. Jesus. Kind of a Milky Way.
Audience Member / Participant
Are you talking about the. The paying someone to go for. For a walk with you for quite some time?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes.
Audience Member / Participant
Someone's asking all about that.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Look, everybody, I think you should make a. This is gonna blow you away. I think a lot of you should make a video. I really like this for. I really like this for Facebook. Actually, let me break this down. You know, usually we don't have a lot of time. I can really break this down. I'm really gonna break it down for you. Here's the video. I'm gonna literally actually do it. Let me say first that you're gonna post this video on Facebook and then you're gonna run $40 worth of ads in a 10 mile radius of your home. The reason I want to do Facebook is I actually want the person that pays you to be between 50 and 80 years old. And you can reach a lot more of that audience on that platform than you can in other places. Even though they show up at other places. But hey, everybody, it's Carl. You're seeing this because I ran ads within 10 miles of my home here in rural St. Louis. I'm starting a new business. I don't know if you've ever heard of this guy Gary Vee, but he's been talking about it. So I said, why not? Let me try. I'm starting a business around companionship, health and wellness and just humanity. It's called Walk with me with Carl. Walk with me is me actually coming to your home and taking a walk around the neighborhood. Obviously got to fill out a form, I'll do a background check, blah, blah, blah. But this is literally me coming and doing a one hour walk with you around the neighborhood. We, we can tell stories, become acquaintances, get to know each other. Sometimes it's just for health and wellness. Some of you want to take a walk, but you don't want to do it by yourself. Or maybe you're scared to do it. I would do that with you. Some of you just want to get your tough feelings out and you don't want to do therapy and you can't tell your friends and family. And so good old Carl can do that for you for $90 for an hour. You can see that in the link in my copy here. You can go to my website and check out my stance. Or you could do that. You can book an appointment. I'm a really good guy. You can do some homework on me. I'm happy to get on a Pre Zoom for 20 minutes just so you get to know me in case you think this is weird. I know this is a little weird for me too. Like this is new. But I do think like Gary Vee said, as the world goes more digital, more real life businesses are here. And like I like to walk and I like to talk and my name's Carl and book me this day. So see you soon, everyone. Bye Bye.
Audience Member / Participant
I like to walk and I like to talk and my name's Carl the.
Gary Vaynerchuk
New just doing I like to walk and I like to talk. I believe if people are watching right now that are unemployed, hate their job if they did the video I just did and posted on Facebook organically, but then bought ads when you boost it or you buy ads. And if you don't know how to do ads on Facebook, you literally go to chatgpt and say, I don't know how to run $40 worth of ads locally on Facebook. Tell me how and I will give you the answer. I'm leading you all to the water, everyone, but I need you to drink. I need you to drink. And so I really think how many people here believe the business I just showed you for $90 for a walk that if you spent $40, you could you get somebody to buy that. In fact, how many people here without.
Audience Member / Participant
Trolling would buy that $40 an hour for what?
Gary Vaynerchuk
90? Me neither. I talk to myself. Yeah, I think 90 is high. Other people, again, obviously 90 in Manhattan is different than 90 in rural Wyoming. So there's also that. Please play, you know your numbers. But again, notice how a lot of people are 90 or high. Let me teach you one of the great lessons in business. Never say no for the customer. These people right now are saying no for the customer. 90's too high. 90's too high. You're not the customer, you're the seller in this situation. You know what's amazing about posting it at $90? If nobody buys it, you can lower it to 80. You know what sucks about saying no for the customer and making it for 40? You don't know if you could have sold it for 90. Show this, court. Show this. He can't see me. He can't see, he can't see me. Lesson of the day. It is a lesson. Stop saying no for the customer. So many of you are so insecure and don't have confidence. $90 for an hour. Like walking and talking. Taking on someone's emotional fucking. What do you think a therapist says? They don't even walk. You're like that, Corey. Taking on someone's trauma is fucking heavy. Walking sucks for me too, by the way. I would never do this business. Actually, I've gotten into walking a little bit more lately. But anybody, I really hope that helped you. So what is your therapy? My cocoon. I therapy myself. I've got a very weird system. The jets are my therapy. Yeah, life. The way I look at life is me being in therapy at all times. I think I'm in therapy in every minute. I'm self aware, I'm grateful, I'm accountable. I just live with what it is. It's just. I don't know, I just. I'm very accepting. I don't have expectations. I think people have way too many expectations on other people. Like people like I'm hurting. So I expect you train to make me feel better. Without understanding. Like maybe train's hurting. This lack of like compassion and sympathy. Sympathy and empathy for others. Just because like just cause your older brother might have more money than you doesn't mean he's happy. So you think he has to help you. But like what if he's fucked up like. I don't know. We just. Too much expectations. Too much expectations of others. You know, I like relying on myself. I like being accountable. I like knowing that I make my bed. So I don't want to cry about things because I created the problem so I can get out. If somebody else created the problem, I still think I could have not walked into the problem. Mmm, that's a big one. If somebody else created the problem, I still hold myself accountable that I walk into the problem, you know? So that's what I think about. Look at that strength.
Audience Member / Participant
Strength. And seven.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's a beast of a gun. Diamond Gun. Diamond gun forever. All right, let's court. You can throw up anybody you want. Everybody get in here. Casa de Abuela is gonna be joining us in a second. Earl, how did I just contradict myself? Give it to me. Let's make sure so I can break it down. Because a lot of times that's exactly. I'm not contradiction. I'm pulling from opposite directions. And that's where the balance comes from. And people think it's a contradiction. Earl, ask to be requested to get here so we can talk it out. Because I think a lot of people struggle with thinking certain things are contradiction when they're nuanced. Balance stretchers. I love everyone. I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks. Weird. Care what every. Like, I take in what everyone says. I don't give a fuck what anyone says. Contradiction. No, exactly right. All right. How are you, darling? Hello.
Seasoning Entrepreneur
Can you hear me?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I sure can. What's your name?
Seasoning Entrepreneur
Oh, man. I've been watching you for 10 years. Let me tell you. Love your. Love you all the way. So thanks to you, I got on TikTok. I started a month ago with my seasoning. We've been going strong for the past four weeks and I have 600 followers. My question to you is, how can I get my seasoning in her hands?
Gary Vaynerchuk
It's done. We will. Why don't you? How do we do this, team? Can someone DM her the address to Vayner? And then can someone on Team Gary really pay attention? Make sure they find it. And let's put on our little shelf. We'll try it out. That's it. It's done.
Seasoning Entrepreneur
Blessings, my friend.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Thank you.
Seasoning Entrepreneur
You're awesome. You're a motivator. You are everything that everybody needs out here right now. Human connection, number one. AI, my assistant. That's how I did my business. I quit a month ago and I'm here.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I love it. Good luck to you. Good Luck to you. I love it. I love it so. I love it. She's, like, really grinding. She came on here. Thank you. Thank you so much. Yep, we're good. Thank you so much. Oh, I like that little spin. That's good. She came on here and she fucking. Right hooked the fuck out of me, right? She just came on here and fucking threw a straight Mike Tyson hook to my face. It landed. I got knocked the fuck out. And now we're moving on. No question. She had no question. She's like, motherfucker, I want to get my product in your motherfucking hands.
Audience Member / Participant
It was subtle, though.
Gary Vaynerchuk
She like, well, it was a little sweet up front, but it was kind of, like, subtle in the same way. Like when you roll up in the bar and you're like, oh, nice hair. You want to go upstairs? I mean, there was not that much. There was not that much. There was not that much, bro. There was not that much. I don't feel like I. I don't feel like I got really romance. I was like, I go to more 24. You got someone to pop out and say, start my business yesterday, where Killian can give me 100 grand. They were just wanting you. I don't know, bro. I don't feel like she gave me that much. I feel like I got a, like, nice smile. Here's my key to my room. I don't feel like. I don't feel like I really got romance there. She just executed. She right hooks. Respect. All right, everybody ask. Let's go community. Ask your questions.
Audience Member / Participant
Go digging for bricks. Asks. I have a Lego account that's growing very quickly.
Gary Vaynerchuk
How do I monetize many ways. Start selling Legos. Become a TikTok affiliate. TikTok affiliate, everybody. If you don't know what TikTok affiliate is, I highly recommend it. Please Google or ChatGPT or search in TikTok. What TikTok affiliate. How you sign up to be a TikTok affiliate? He can literally affiliate other people's product. He doesn't even have to hold the inventory. He's just making content and it's selling. You can cook. TikTok affiliates are going crazy. I could not recommend TikTok affiliates more. And if it's a Lego accounts crushing somewhere else, Stand it up on TikTok and build and siphon the office over here so you can do the affiliate. The affiliate's crazy. You can sell swag, make some hoodies and T shirts, right? You can start doing live social shopping and build out, you know, your custom Legos and Sell them. There's a lot to do there. There's a lot to do there. You can create a stand store and sell how to build a Lego account to go viral on social media and sell that for 50 bucks an ebook and maybe 50 bucks for a 30 minute coaching. Cause you just did it. And that's what Stan stores for. So there's a lot of things to think through.
Audience Member / Participant
Have you ever built a Lego set?
Gary Vaynerchuk
No.
Audience Member / Participant
Never played with Legos once in your life?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Nope.
Audience Member / Participant
Have you flipped Legos?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes. Many Legos Minifigures. Early in the days I played with Legos a little bit in like 85, but not the way it became. Like now. Like I'm also OG. I'm 49. I played with Lincoln Logs. I was a Lincoln Logs kid when I was 6. I played a little Lincoln Logs when I was 6. I around with a tiny bit of Legos when I was like 9 or 10. Tiny. But I was too much into wrestling figures. Cord show this behind Ty guy.
Audience Member / Participant
But the Legos then were more just like, here's a bag of Legos.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's what I played with these fuckers. Oh, the court. I forgot about that part. Junkyard dog. S.D. jones, Greg the Hammer Valentine, Andre the Giant, Big John Stud, Jimmy Snuka. That's what I was about. I was about that Wrestling, wwf Life, the E. All right, what else you got? G?
Audience Member / Participant
We had someone in the chat earlier just opened their own brick and mortar collectibles store.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes.
Audience Member / Participant
What's more important, events or digital marketing?
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yes. This is. I will pound this into everyone's head as long as they're willing to listen to me. Life is about and not or I could not explain to you more. In marketing and business, it's and not or. But in life, always fight for and why do you think I have three admins and do so many meetings? It's always and oh, Gary. Big meeting with Sid about Team Gary or client fire over here or a huge opportunity for Vee friends. The answer is. And you know what the biggest mistake a lot of you are making? You have two hour meetings doing nothing. Who wants to be vulnerable in the chat and admit that they go to two hour meetings doing nothing? Say two hours in the chat. You're like in meetings that fucking mean nothing. Say two hours in the chat, you're in those fucking meetings. I'm in that. You've already seen the difference. Like you've been here for. You got the freshest eyes. You see what it is? Yeah, it's and you know, like fucking People out here with big ambitions taking three hour lunches, pulling fucking lettuce out their teeth. Somebody caught a stray, somebody's caught astray for just not wanting lettuce in their teeth. I don't even have time to take the lettuce out of my teeth. The funniest thing when someone feels me me is that we. This hasn't happened train recently. But like that's a nice little one. Strong finish. What is that strong finish. Some of these are fire. I don't even tie my shoes. Slip them on and the tongue gets all like. Right, like, like I don't have time for that Court.
Audience Member / Participant
You really don't tie your shoes at times and it does throw me off.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yeah. Cuz I'm like literally like I need this hundredth of a second and I'm not gonna trip.
Audience Member / Participant
CJ Neves, if you on Instagram @tyler DM me, we will talk about how we can get V friends in partnership with you in your local store.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Amazing. Bump it up to Tyler so he can find it because Tyler's been known to miss a dm. Yeah, but that's why I like, that's why I put. No, no. I don't know. I've seen it. Distro, schmistro ristro every row. All right, let's keep it going.
Audience Member / Participant
How do you find a good business name this individual Names mean nothing.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Fucking McDonald's court. If you didn't know McDonald's was McDonald's and I said I'm starting a business called McDonald's, what would you think the business does? Irish pub. Sure. Great, right? Yeah.
Rob D. (Record Store Owner)
Construction company.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Construction company. Yeah, man. What the fuck's a Google? What's Nike? You gotta make it mean something. Names are made. I'm fucking Gary Vee with two silent E's. Horrible execution. I'm serious. Gary Vee with two silent E's is fucking terrible. You all know I have two silent E's? Yeah. I never realized that. There you go Trane. I'm teaching you daily out here. Gary Vee with two silent E's is horrible branding. The fuck do you need the two silent E's for? People type in Gary. Like when people are first learning me, they're like garyvee. Oh, they go, Gary Vee with a V. They find that Filipino fuckin rock star singer. It's me and Gary Vee in the Philippines. We've been battling for years. I finally took him over a couple years ago. We were battling. Gary Vee had to take the L. Pop star Philippines.
Audience Member / Participant
There Chuck, you did a good job with that.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yeah, no, listen, I'm me and I'm that and he's he and I'm him. But names are fucking made. McDonald's means nothing. Toyota means nothing. Mentos means nothing. Sprite means this shit doesn't mean anything. Execution's the game. Fucking names. I hate when people are like, oh, need a great name. I'm like, no, you need to be great at marketing. Right, Right. Thank you.

Best part about being a father, Gary.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I mean, if you're not one, you're just randomly curious. I mean like the best part about being a father is the level of unconditional love that you feel for the first time in your life that you can't comprehend. And I was incredibly, and I'm incredibly close to my parents and my family. I'm immigrant life. Like I'm an emotional dude, I love but like Misha and Xander is just different. They're just really. It's very hard to put into words, you know, said, you know this, you're new to this game, new word ish to the game. Some of you will go through this in your life, in this room and on the call. Like it's really a level of love that is pretty profound, you know, and you just, you love it so much in an epic way. And you know, for me I'm like, I don't want to make the cliche mistakes that parents make. Like I don't lead with fear. I don't love them so much that I try to put them into boxes. I don't want to over coddle them. I want them to be a yo, right? I want them to be accountable and optimistic. But like, it takes everything I've got and I've got a lot to not want to make them soft, cuddled, coddled, non functional humans. That's how much you love them. That's why I know why there's so many soft people out there. Like, it's really easy for parents to create entitlement and, and coddleness because kids get fucked on both sides and then they fuck their kids on both sides. Either the parent is really broken and going through their own shit and they're not giving love, or they're on completely the other side and they're over coddling and they love so much that they made a puss. The middle is the only answer. It's like politics. It's all purple will always be purple. So any. What does it feel like the best? But it's like intense and epic and great and like this afternoon, like, is Halloween. And my son last year asked me to take him and his two boys trick or treating. And like now last year they were in sixth grade and it was like they were like, dudes, like, let's get some pizza. I was like, pizza on the Upper west side. And then like, I could tell they like, didn't want to go trick or treat. I'm like, you guys want to play basketball? Like, yeah. So then we played basketball last year, and then this year, this week, Monday. My, my, I'm gonna say my brother. Cause it's so wild how much I learned parenting by having 11 year younger brother. I literally, I don't know if you heard that. I started to say my brother. My son was like, yo, me and my seven friends want to play basketball with you. That's our new tradition. And like, like when you hear that, right? Or like the hug I gave to my daughter this morning at 7:30 in the morning. Cause I was taking Xander school, but I caught her because she was late for the bus. You know, I can't replicate that with my parents or my siblings or my loved ones or my friends. And it's an incredible version of love that is unachievable anywhere else. And it is intoxicating and invigorating. And that is the answer.
Audience Member / Participant
Game six tonight.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yep.
Audience Member / Participant
Who you got?
Gary Vaynerchuk
The Blue Jays.
Audience Member / Participant
Taking it home at home.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Want the Blue Jays to win badly. Yeah, I don't want the Dodgers to win. They won last year. Yeah, like, I don't. It's not like I hate the Dodgers, you know, Freddie Freeman, great dude. Ohtani. Maybe the best ever. Like, you know, I don't have any hate towards the Dodgers, but I like to see the Blue Jays win. Canada gets a nice little lift. Oh, and actually, selfishly, Vayner sports, I didn't even notice. I didn't start with this, but. But obviously Vayner sports reps Charlie, Alejandro, Kirk and Boba Shet. And so we're rooting for the Blue Jays. Yeah. Plus, I love Toronto. Love it. Well, you love Drake. That's why it makes sense. I love. I love Drake and Kendrick and your mama and everyone. I love everyone, Zachary. I know you do. Okay, so what the do you want? I'm just happy to see you. Yeah, I'm just saying. Too. I like it. I love you. I love you too. All right, let's keep it going. What do we got? Let's go. Scroll down, scroll down. Give me, give me. Dame. Dame. Lucky man. Deal. Soldier Group and Arizona Stoner is fighting Arizona stoner is saying St. Christopher. I need the five spot. Oh, hi. How are you?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I'm awesome. Coaches combo.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I'm in Toronto. Oh, coach, nice. We got a Toronto hat. I love it. Are you, are you now what's your name?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
My real name is Kelly.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Kelly, I need you to be honest with me. Are you a real Jays fan or you've jumped on the bandwagon. You, you're casual if not interested. You're just pro Toronto and you've jumped on the bandwagon.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I jumped on the fucking.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I respect you. Go ahead, Kel, what can I answer for you?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I missed you in Portugal.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Oh yes, at that event. We were in and out. Train got lost in Portugal. It was great. I did so.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Yes. And that is my industry.
Gary Vaynerchuk
You're in gaming.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
And I am, I am the only, only licensed by the alcohol and Gaming Commission influencer for casinos in Ontario.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That is incredible. Good for you.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
And yeah, so I'm game. Lucky. So I specialize in all 30 of the land based casinos. I also have affiliates with iGaming on my website and I have an affiliate with Ticketmaster.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Good for you.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I need to know how to help it out because I'm so busy trying to make content and get my name known as my brand. I'm trademarked, I'm incorporated. My marketing is really good. If you check out my website, I have a really great website. But I need to make sales, I need to make contracts. In Canada, they don't let us live stream.
Gary Vaynerchuk
That's okay. Live streaming is not the only requirement. But I need you to really recognize something. Your marketing isn't good. Okay, let's talk about why I'm saying that without looking at it. Marketing is not a standalone function. Marketing is the offense of team of a business. Right? So marketing is the offense of a business. So now let's use sports. If you were a football team and you scored no points every game, you wouldn't tell me your offense is good. Okay, so you're saying your marketing is good, your website's good, but you're not scoring any points. I need you to start, I want to start with you on this because this will help you.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Okay, I'm all ears.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Great. So first we just got to make sure that you are not judging your content and your marketing based on your opinion of yourself. Okay, so let's get to the punchline. You are making content. What are you selling? So I understand it completely. Oh, I don't hear you.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I want to be the Facebooking people.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Okay, I understand. I Understand what you want to happen. That's not the question. What are you, what are you selling? How do you make money?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I'm not right now. That's the problem.
Gary Vaynerchuk
I know. How do you. No shit. How do you think you're gonna make money?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Through the assessment.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Great. So it sounds like you make money by getting people to come to you and then through you going into a gambling environment where they become a player and they start playing and you make a commission or an onboarding referral fee. Yes.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Yes.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Great. So one of the things you might be making a mistake on is how are you trying to get people to go to that place whether on your website or some other website of an affiliate.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Okay. So I've been building the platform and now I'm ready to start doing the marketing. And that's why I wanted to talk to you because I missed Portugal.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Understood.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
I was at the Canadian Gaming conference and literally every knew who I was. I gave out lanyards. I have CPACs attached to it. I'm getting.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Everybody knew who you. But everybody knew who you were in the gaming community. Right. In the business of gaming. Right. So your problem. Yeah. Your problem is you want players. That's what you're. You need to be known by them.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Right. So I built up to this point to where now I'm can start to attract players and that's where I need your help.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, it's. It comes through content, I assume through social. Right?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Yeah. I was going to start going live five days a week.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Well, that's a good start. I want like I am a. Probably but there's some. You gotta. I don't. I'm not. I'd like you to go live and that's fine because you have a great personality and I see it. But I want you to get great at individual social media posts with links in your bios and in the copy. If you get great at that, you will convert. Okay. But you've got to go after people with high net worth. Like your number one platform is Facebook.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Yes. I actually just topped 6,000 followers.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Great. I mean followers don't mean anything anymore. It's all about the content. My 55 million followers versus your 1600 followers means nothing anymore. I have no advantage over you. Every day it's about making the best content you possibly can make. Alright, so what I want you to do is go to garyvee.com attention and check that out. I made a 44 page deck that will help you how to make really good content.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Garyvee.com attention.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Yep. All right, Good luck with that. Start playing with that for a hundred days. Make 3, 4 pieces of content a day based on that deck. And then. And then we'll reconvene in 100 days.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
How can we reconvene in 100 days? How can I connect with you in a hundred days?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I'm gonna be streaming on TikTok like this for the rest of my life. Yeehaw.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
They're really hard on us. I'm trying to connect with somebody at Tick Tock, but in Canada, it's really difficult.
Gary Vaynerchuk
There's. There's no connecting. It's difficult in America, it's difficult in China. Tick Tock's a multi trillion dollar corporation. They don't give a about you.
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Yeah, because I need to be able to get the approval because I have the license.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Got it, got it, got it. That's a little bit different. To your credit, use ChatGPT to figure out where you need to go. Okay. What's your URL so people can check you out in Canada?
Kelly (Gaming Influencer)
Daveluckey.com Love it.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Awesome. See ya. Come on. Thank you. We're good. Court. All right, everybody. Take care. Everybody. Who's got questions?
Audience Member / Participant
I just saw a question I love.
Gary Vaynerchuk
Go ahead.
Audience Member / Participant
If AI is creating with us now, how do we keep the human spark leading the art?
Gary Vaynerchuk
By being human. Like, again, people are going into these deep philosophical, like, gary, how do we keep the human element? I don't know. But being the human, that does it, like, you do know. Like, if you're the human that uses the AI tool, by nature, it has the human element. People go, I'm telling you, this is what I do. Like, keep it basic, keep it common sense. Break down the question. People get into the hype. They're like, somebody a week ago was like, gary, you don't get it. They're stopping me. I said, who's that? Like, literally rolled up at me like, gary Vee, I love it. And like, yeah, but you don't get it. They stopping me. I was like, who's they? They.
Audience Member / Participant
How does a shy person get used to self promotion?
Gary Vaynerchuk
By realizing it doesn't. I don't think I do. So how about this on the record? This is a good one. I do not think I do self promotion.
Audience Member / Participant
What do you do?
Gary Vaynerchuk
I do entertainment and information. I do entertainment and information. I mean, that real. I hope that really hit. I know that a lot of people think it's defined as self promotion. And I think by defining itself promotion, that becomes an issue. Do you know how many People watch this. How many people were yucked out when the term personal brand came out? They were like, oh, that's stupid. Like, how many people were yucked out when they heard personal brand? They're like, ugh. You know, like, I don't want to do that. That's like. Like, that's like, especially marketing people, business people, like, you know, Andrew, like, felt it, like, I didn't. I don't look at it as personal brand brand. I look at it as reputation. Right? It felt self absorbed. I don't feel like it's self absorbed when you're putting out content with the hope that it helps others. I actually think it's the reverse. I think it's selflessly absorbed. Am I aware that it can lead to opportunity? Am I aware that, like, I sell veefriends and people I want them to buy it? That's not called self promotion. That's called brand and product promotion. I'm promoting veefriends. I understand that it brings awareness towards me. People are aware of who I am. But I think a shy person needs to understand why are they shy? Why are they insecure? A lot of people struggle with posting because they want to post in a category where they don't know anything that's real. Is that right? They want to be like a news anchor and they don't know when to the new. Like, they want to be like, put out skateboard content because they like skateboarding, but they don't know skateboarding. I say this all the time. How many? Actually, can everybody answer this? How long have you been fucking. Go ahead. Just how long have you been following me? Everybody answer that real quick. Go ahead.
Audience Member / Participant
I think to your point, put number years.
Gary Vaynerchuk
2, 3, 4, 5.
Audience Member / Participant
And you're open about that, but attempting.
Gary Vaynerchuk
To be an expert. If you're not, document, don't create versus be expert. Like, like, people are just full of shit. They're not authentic. To your point, if you want to make skateboard content, make it about this journey of learning how to skateboard. Rips. What don't you know how to do that you've been wanting to do? All right, let me open this already. That you want to do currently. Let me open it real quick. What's this? Great. Rips putting out content on nice court. Rips putting out content. That's right. We're going to get it down. We're going to get that remote down. Rip's putting out content about him. Like, if it was called ripping my way to Mozart, like, you know, like ripping to Mozart if your show was called Ripping to Mozart and it was all about you trying to learn. If you're looking to learn how to do the piano, everybody lean into authenticity. We'll see you next time, everybody. If you enjoyed this podcast, please go back and look at the prior episodes. They're loaded. I appreciate your attention, and thanks for being part of this journey. See you later.

This episode condenses Gary Vee’s signature ethos: ruthless honesty, radical accountability, and action over perfection. Whether you’re trying to scale your brand, reimagine your career, or start monetizing a hobby, Gary insists: focus on real results, love what you do, leverage new tools fearlessly, and never let fear or perfectionism stop you from shipping content, selling, or making a public move. In a world obsessed with aesthetics and theory, Gary Vee reminds listeners that hustle, authenticity, and relentless execution will always be the edge.
