Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program, America under attack. At least that's what it seems. The last couple of days we've been watching as trucks have been rented from the very same place. There are connections between attacks in New Orleans and one at Trump International Hotel. And are there any more to come? The details we know so far, we're going to get you up to speed with it all. Coming up in just moments. Justin Barkley. And for Glenn. Today on the Glenn Beck Program.

The older I get, the more I think about trust. I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust. I know we're alike in that way. We don't trust a lot of people anymore. It's like we're all Ronald Reagan. Trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake. I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly. And that's why I started Realestate Agents I trust Com. I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes, so we built Real Estate Agents I trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country that we work with, that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful and good real estate transaction possible. Our network agent agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people, and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs. So whether you're moving across town or across the country, Visit real estate agentsitrust.com the name says it all. Realestate agents I trust dot com.

So if you, like me, you woke up New Year's Day to the news of the absolutely horrific event of a truck ripping through on Bourbon street in New Orleans and, and the ensuing attack that took place afterwards. Then later in the day we found out not, not just one, there's something else that's taken place. A cyber truck. And if you read the story and the, the headlines, it was, it was kind of, I don't know, it just sounded to me like, hey, a Tesla truck exploded. And then that was some sort of coincidence or something, just a battery or something that went off. And either that's malpractice, it's negligence by a lot of these media companies. I think that may have been the issue. But no, it was an actual attack planned. And there are, there are some, there are some. Well, there are some connections. So we'll dig into what those look like. Seven Injured, one dead in the Tesla cybertruck explosion that took place at Trump International, the tower there in Las Vegas. There are 15 dead, 25 hospitalized right now. The attack that took place in New Orleans, in Bourbon, Bourbon Street. Some of the details that are coming out about this, both trucks rented using an app called Turo. Not blaming Turo, but it's just a fact. They were both rented using an app called Turo. Both electric vehicles. Somebody pointed this out to me. It's kind of interesting. You got an email from a guy said, you know, that Ford truck that was used was a lightning. It was a lightning. And that means because it was an electric truck, not only does it is it very, very heavy, but it can reach high speeds very quickly, and it did on Bourbon Street. The other piece that is deadly is also the fact that the truck would have been near silent as it was moving down Bourbon street and mowing people over. The man in the truck, who we know had an ISIS flag tied to the back of it, a veteran himself. There's another similarity piece of similar information with the man who attacked the Trump Tower in, in Vegas as well. But the man who was in that truck got out and then began firing upon people there inside the French Quarter and America is under attack. Now, people have been warning about this for a while. In fact, later on in the program today, we're going to talk about this particular situation and why people have been warning about it for a while now and what we could face and what it is really essentially the chickens coming home, the roost in the open border. Now, there were talks about the individual, the man who was responsible for, for the attack and who he was and had he come across the border and whatnot. Apparently both individuals responsible for these attacks, according to the reports that we have, were people that are citizens that were veterans. Matter of fact, they served in the same. This is, this is the wild part of it. Not only did they use Turo, which is, you know, interesting piece of information, but they serve together. They serve together and in the, in the same, same military base. Now, you may say both. I'll just a lot of these things to me sound a little bit more like coincidence. I don't know if I can add all those up, but surely you would say you probably want to take a closer look at some of these coincidences. They seem to, to add up. One of the persons that again has been ringing the alarm on this for quite a while has been saying, we are more vulnerable than ever before. You and I know this. We've been Talking about it for a while now. Of course, I believe it's one of the reasons why President Trump won the election. But we are in a critical time, one of the, one of the pieces. In fact, it's been quiet. It's been too quiet. A lot of us have said we're in even probably a more critical time than that leading up to the election. And you saw what that was like, multiple assassination attempts on President Trump. And now we're at this pivotal moment, the days leading up to the point where he lays his hand on the Bible and takes the oath of office and is inaugurated, sworn into office. And this is a time that is more precarious than any we've, we, we may have known in our lifetime. I'm, I'm not sure about you, but all, all of the, the hope, all of the optimism that many of us have been feeling leading up until this point. Right. Really hinges on this actually taking place. So whether they're targets from within or from without, these or these attacks, where they're coming from, one thing is for sure. We, we are. Things are hanging in the balance. One of the former CIA folks who had been warning about this, her name, Sarah Adams, coming up in the program, we're going to talk to her about what she's heard, what she's seen coming, and probably the worst piece of information on it all. It's, it's almost unthinkable. What do we do to stop it? So they got the Sugar bowl that, that was postponed yesterday and will be today, apparently, as they have now had to take, I'm sure, new measures to make sure that they've cleared that area and done everything that they can to secure that event. And here we are. Yet again. I find myself in this weird place. I don't know about you, but I, on one hand, I sort of, I just, I want to avoid large crowds, which I kind of really want to do anyway, but I want to avoid large crowds. And then on, on, on top of it, I think to myself, well, that's how they win. I don't want to let them win. I don't want to let this type of thing affect me. And, I don't know, maybe you feel the same way. That's how the terrorists win. And in this case, these terrorists and their motivations, whatever they might be, these two individuals, they couldn't be more, I think, further from one another. And it looks in a lot of ways with ideologies and things like that, but maybe there are more connections that we know about. Here's what we know this morning so far. This comes from the Daily Mail. The Las Vegas bomber who blew up the cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel. His cops say he served at the same military base in as the New Orleans mass killer Jabbar. This man army veteran Matthew Livelsberger, although officials have not publicly named him as the bomber. Senior law enforcement sources confirming his identity to KOA and KTNV. He served over 19 years in the army, 18 of which were spent with Special Forces. Your spidey senses weren't already tingling if you couldn't already smell something. Already served over 19 years in the order 18 of which were spent with Special Forces, according to his LinkedIn profiles. Current role listed as a remote and autonomous systems manager, which he had been in for just three months. A Colorado townhome associated with him was rated by the FBI Late Wednesday night, agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms brought to assist the suspect bomb Bomber was raised in Ohio, moved to Colorado Springs as an adult. Yada yada yada. Law enforcement sources revealed that he had died Wednesday in the explosion outside the hotel. Previously served the same military base as a New Orleans terrorist Shamsa Din Jabbar. Police have not yet confirmed that the pair were the two were known to each other. Jabbar, who would allegedly pledged himself to the Islamic State ramming the pickup truck which bore the ISIS flag into a crowd. Now there was a whole discussion on whether this was a terrorist act or whether it wasn't and whether the flag would all of this stuff happens and it happens so quickly. But I will tell you one thing. Thank God for Twitter X. Thank God that Elon Musk because we wouldn't. You wouldn't know any of these things. The news that comes and as it breaks and it breaks so quickly on Twitter, slash X whatever you want to call it these days because of Elon Musk taking this thing over and allowing it to flow and as freely as it does. You see things that, well, sometimes may not be right, sometimes they may get corrected later and that all gets worked out in the wash. But you see things at a pace and at a speed. It's like drinking from a firehouse, really. That's the kind of the world we're in nowadays. By the way, the FBI said it doesn't think that Jabbar was solely responsible for the Berman street attack. Now we're hearing that maybe that's not so true. Maybe he did act alone. And the question that you may be asking is what do you believe out of any of this One thing is for sure, the times are very, very precarious that we're in right now. Pray for this nation. Pray for the strength of the leadership. Incoming. And of course the folks who are working to keep everyone safe today. But now more than ever, I think it is, it is more obvious than ever before what these last four years and even before have led up to. The chickens have come home to roost. What do we do next? We'll talk about that coming up. Plus we're going to hear from Sarah Adams this morning a little bit later on. Former CIA. Expect to hear exactly why she believes this is going on, what she thinks is happening and of course again I think the biggest piece. Okay, now what? All of it and more coming in. It's Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. Back next.

And I'll give you a chance to weigh in this morning as well. Triple 872-7-BECK 888-727-BECK. I want to hear from you and where you think we are. Like I said conflicting reports and some of the stuff you know early on when things come out this is always sort of how it works in is some of the things that may not be true but one things we do know is that they had it wired explosives and was working on explosives and apparently had some IEDs, some things that were improvised inside of the truck there that that lightning and there are a number of thoughts and theories on why again the electric trucks were used and what, what all of that's supposed to mean. So we'll get into that coming up. But first, there's some of the reports that are coming out. And this is again from a Louisiana State police bulletin. Also a corresponding remote control discovered inside the vehicle. Now, this is also significant. According to the same intelligence bulletin, surveillance footage, Molly captured three men and a woman placing one of multiple improvised explosive devices. So certainly more to this investigation. President Biden, meanwhile, is not here at the White House today on this first day of 2025. He's at the presidential retreat in the Maryland mountains, Camp David.
Sarah Adams
However, he is continuing to get updates.
Justin Barkley
From his team from the Homeland Security Department, from the Justice Department, also from the FBI. I want to read something that the president actually, I want to go to rather some sound from President Biden on the tarmac before he took off from Delaware to go to Camp David. Watch this. I've spoken to every member of the agency from the CIA to the, to our national security team, to our FBI, nsc, and I'm, we're getting, gathering all the, and I spent a lot of time with the government, with the mayor. Well, the reaction was one of anger and frustration. Thank you. Well, it's, it's, it's, I hate to say, but it's true. It's his fault the, the state of the country, the way it's been left in the utter disarray because the border been wide open and all these security threats such as the economy. There are very various other issues that people been ringing the alarm on for years on this. So you just heard, by the way, this came out earlier, you just heard that there were other people they were looking for people of interest in the Bourbon street attack, getting new information. You're getting some clarification from law enforcement officials. What are you learning? Yeah, well, for one of the things we have been focused on is the FBI certainly was looking at this surveillance video that at the time at least appeared to show that there were other people who may have been involved in placing devices in the French Quarter. Now, we know that law enforcement now has determined that those people had nothing to do with this incident. At this point, it appears that those people seen on surveillance video did not have anything to do with replacing devices in the French Quarter, that this suspect, you know, was solely responsible certainly for the attack, at least as we know it at this point. Now, we should make clear that the FBI is still looking at possible associates. They're trying to see whether there's anybody who may have been involved in helping to create the devices, the IEDs, whether those people, anybody who might have been involved in helping to plan the, you know, tough luck with that because the home, the Airbnb where, where they were putting this stuff together, where he was putting this stuff together, caught fire and it burned down. Was that yesterday? I think that might have been yesterday. Nothing to see here. Nothing to see what? 2025 is already off with a bang, folks. And the question is what, what comes next? Now, video is also circulating online of what appears to be the man responsible for the, the attack in, in New Orleans. Video Shamsa Den Jabbar. And apparently it was from a time where he worked in real estate or was a consultant. He's got some interesting ties with, with some other corporations and whatnot that are, that are starting to come out. You'll hear more about that, I'm sure, in the days ahead. But this video just strikes me, looks like anybody could been you, me, anybody else. And he's talking very coherently and, and making a lot of sense about different things and seems like he's just like a businessman. And this is what, just a couple, maybe a year or two old, Texas, and now live in Houston. And I've been here all my life, with the exception of traveling for the military, where I spent 10 years as.

So I've taken those skills and applied them to my career. Now, this is, this is a very coherent, this is a very serious individual. You would think somebody you would probably hire to work in your company if you had one need for that. My question is how does somebody like this go from zero to jihad in such short time? How was he radicalized? To what extent did maybe media or social media play a role? More questions that we've got to have to ask the days ahead as we get more of this information on the way coming up, they're at it again. The midst of all this going on, they're trying to break the bird flu up to the front of fix as well. Dr. Robert Malone joins us coming up after the bottom of the hour with the latest on this scare tactic and more on the Glenn Beck program. GLENN beck.

Foreign Justin Barclay in for Glenn Beck today on the Glenn Beck Program. And you can find and follow me everywhere on social media at Mr. Justin Barclay and justinbarclay.com love to, love to stay up to date with you. So it's been, it's been a wild ride and this holiday season has been full of it. I often say it's like drinking from a firehouse. Never a dull medic. The news never stops and it's rare to find truth, logic and common sense these days on any of the cable networks. That's why we are here. Deface the nation. On CBS the other day had the so called health expert. You could probably, you probably remember this individual. She, she was on just the, oh it was like non stop on CNN and all the rest of them. Lena Wen, former commissioner of the Baltimore City Health Department, she's out there making the case that it's time that the Biden administration needs to get out there and authorize a bird flu vaccines. You got birds, you got birds, you got drones, you've got what just, just happened in, in, in at the Trump Tower. You got all these things happening at the same time and the crises feel like they're overwhelming. And you wonder again at the end, the very pivotal time that we're in, whether this is intentional or some of this is just incompetence. More on that coming up. But first of what she had to say this week. There are two main things that they should be doing in the days that they have left. The first is to get testing out there. I feel like we should have learned our lesson from COVID that just because we aren't testing, it doesn't mean that the virus isn't there. It just means that we aren't looking for it. We should be having rapid tests, home tests, available to all farm workers, to their families, for the clinicians taking care of them, so that we aren't waiting for public labs and CDC labs to tell us what's bird flu or not. And the second very important thing is this is not like the beginning of COVID where we were dealing with a new virus. We didn't have a vaccine. There actually is a vaccine developed already against H5N1. The Biden administration has contracted with manufacturers to make almost 5 million doses of the vaccine. However, they have not asked the FDA to authorize the vaccine. There's research done on it. They could get this authorized now and also get the vaccine out and to farm workers and to vulnerable people. Here we go again. Why do I get the same feeling? It's here we go again? And I know I'm not the only one. Dr. Robert Malone joining us right now with the latest on this bird flu. Should we be concerned, or is it for the birds? Doctor, appreciate you taking the time to be here with us again. I watch this stuff and I don't know, it just my spidey sense is tingling. Here we go again.
Sarah Adams
Hi, Ron. Yeah, we do. What surprises me about Lena Wen's statement is, number one, it's completely divorced from regulatory reality and from the public health situation as it exists, including statements from the NIH and CDC to their credit, that make it very clear that bird flu is currently considered to be a low risk in the United States for human beings. But what bothers me about Lena Wen's rather hyperbolic statements is they seem to reflect some sort of hidden agenda. And the question is, who is paying her for this? What she's saying is that basically in the remaining couple of weeks until President elect Biden is sworn in, somehow, in the absence of any kind of a medical emergency, the Biden administration has to jam through authorization of these untested products, which, by the way, are largely based on the MRNA tech. And what it calls into question is, why is Lena Nguyen being given a platform on Face the Nation, and why is she making these really totally unfounded claims that fly in the face of federal law, of regulatory norms and everything else? This is not a public health crisis, according to the CDC and the NIH in their recent editorial in New England Journal of Medicine, I mean, it can't get any more overt than this. It, this is twisted.
Justin Barkley
Doctor. I just, Yeah, I get those same feelings. And now, you know, to back that up with what you've, you just said, scientifically, what, what is that you just mentioned? Maybe there's some profit motive here. Maybe there's some sort of incentivized. She's. She's being paid by someone or. What is this push? Is this the last and final gasp of some sort of pharma, big pharma complex out there that wants to try and push this out before the Trump administration gets in? What are we watching here?
Sarah Adams
That's a really good question. Now, last and final gasp from the pharmaceutical military industrial complex is a long way from the situation. Those guys are not going to go away. And they're doing everything they can to derail the confirmation of the nominated Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. But it's, it's unclear what is behind Lena Wen's statements. Who is she working for? Now, in the case of people like Scott Gottlieb, a former FDA commissioner, we know who he's working for. He's on the board of Pfizer. And so he advances Pfizer's interests, but that's never disclosed in corporate media. We have this strange situation of the former director of the CDC, and he is making statements that bird flu is 50% mortal. You know, causes a 50% death rate. That's Bob Redfield, and that's clearly false. That's data coming from, or statements coming from the World Health Organization that reflect what we call a sampling bias. What the WHO gets with bird flu in any other pathogen is they get the reports of the most extreme cases and then they compile those and they make statements about how lethal this, that or the other pathogen is. But they're really biased by this reporting problem that they have. But in the case of Lena Nguyen, it's not clear who she's representing. There's no disclosure about what her background is, who's paying her, potential conflicts of interest. She just comes on with these crazy statements that have no basis in reality. They're just marketing their propaganda.
Justin Barkley
So from what I understand, what you just mentioned is that bird flu isn't something it sounds like we need to be concerned about personally for human risk.
Sarah Adams
What about according to the CDC and the nih, Right.
Justin Barkley
What about, what about for the animals? I know that we've had, here I am in Michigan, We've, we've had a number of issues. They're looking at with birds and cows. And they've been, they've been talking about, you know, what they can do. We just had a law that came through the bill that was passed a few years back and it finally went into effect. And they can't sell cage free. What was it? No, they can't caged eggs anymore. And this has been like wiped off the shelves. And so you're looking at that and you wonder what's that going to do, the price of these eggs and everything else. Is there some issue with, with food supply?
Sarah Adams
Okay, so that issue, this is a highly pathogenic avian influenza. That's the acronym they use is hpai and it does kill birds. It is endemic in the waterfowl. So you, I think you mentioned Michigan. So all of the flyways with the. And geese, there is significant amounts of this high path avian influenza in those migratory waterfowl, which is, by the way, why we can never eradicate it. It's out in the wild, it has animal reservoirs, so it can be quite lethal to birds. And it has been around, it's been around since I think the late 1800s and then really rediscovered in 1959. So this has been with us for a long period of time. It does cause death in birds. And it is absolutely industry best practices, particularly with these large chicken farms, these industrial chicken farms, that when they detect a infectious virus like flu in a poultry barn, they go through and they kill all the birds in that barn and then they will. And potentially even in that farm and then they will sterilize those facilities to the best of their ability. And the reason they do that is if they were to vaccinate, and by the way, vaccination is not economically viable in poultry. If they were to vaccinate, then the vaccines all leak. And so what they would end up doing is just selecting for vaccine resistant virus. Just like what happened with COVID with the leaky vaccines. Now, cattle is an interesting situation. And what's happened here is that this widespread testing for H5N1 or high path avian influenza in variety of animals has shown that we have it in cattle, we have it in dairy cattle. And we have. What's kind of come out over the last year is that the glands, the cells that make the milk in the udder, will support replication of this virus. And so this virus does get shed into milk. That's true. Okay. And it's also true that dairy workers, particularly in California, are getting this infection. Are they dying or going to the hospital? No, what they're getting is Conjunctivitis, red eye. Okay. And some mild symptoms. The same is true with the cows themselves. This is not killing cows, it is causing them to get infected. Is this a new thing? Has this just started happening? We have no idea because they just started testing. The more you test, the more you find. So that's where we're at with the cows. And they're using this as justification now to push RNA vaccines into cattle. That's the problem because, because the cow, we, we know from human studies that these, this RNA technology, these products get shed in breast milk. And so then we do have the prospect of this quote, vaccine material being shed in the milk. And that if nothing else is going to spark consumers, they're going to want to not take milk from vaccinated cows. Likewise, they want to start jabbing all of the beef cattle. And that also there's a lot of people in the Cattlemen's association that are really objecting to this. Not that necessarily that that's going to be transmissible through the meat, but it's going to make consumers very wary of eating meat that's come from vaccinated animals. And by the way, the animals that are getting jabbed are the pigs. It's the factory farm pigs that are getting the RNA vaccines.
Justin Barkley
I want to spend more time on this because I think people need to. If you can hang with us, we've got a break. We're up against the clock here. We'll come back and put the rats on this so people can understand what you're saying. Because I think this is going to play into what people are going to be watching here in the, in the days ahead and he ought to know something about it. Dr. Robert Malone joins us and we're back with more after this on the Glenn Beck program. Our opinions weighing you down. Call in and let it out. 888-727-B- E C E. This is the Glenn Beck program.

The new year is a time of reflection on the past year and hope for the year to come. Last year was a turbulent time for Israel and the Jewish people. The devastating and ongoing multi front war. An unprecedented rise in global anti Semitism and the loss of many Jewish lives. But there has also been an uprising of love and support from you, the listeners and by the organization, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Your support of IFCJ has saved lives and answered prayers. Thanks to the generosity of people in the United States. Bomb shelters have been built and placed. Life saving food and emergency supplies have been provided to evacuees and those in critical need and protective gear and medical equipment has been distributed to first responders on the front lines. There is still more work to do. Join the movement of those who have raised their voices to support Israel and the Jewish people. We ask you to continue your prayers and ongoing support today by visiting supportifcj.org that's one word. Supportifcj.org.
Justin Barkley
Yeah. What is going on with this burger Bird flu Psyop. The latest anyway. Dr. Robert Malone writes about it in a substack. I want to get a chance to talk about that. Not a lot of time here, but how it will affect the, the food supply is what you were just mentioning. Whether it's, it's from the milk in this RNA that will be in the milk or just the fact that people will be less likely to want to buy these things, milk or beef from cows. These are, these are all things that we ought to take a, I guess, closer look at doctrine. I was just letting you wrap up a point. It's in the pork already.
Sarah Adams
Yeah. So Merck markets a vaccine product for pork. That's custom. The real problem underlying all this is factory farms, where in factory farms you have this really high density of animals and they spread infectious disease. And basically infectious disease above evolves in these large factory farms. And so what Merck has done is they go in to the factory farms, they sample the viruses that are circulating and other pathogens and then they build a custom MRNA vaccine for those things and then they administer it to all the pigs. Pigs are big enough and high market value enough that it can justify the cost of doing this. And it doesn't just have to be be a pathogen that is killing the pigs or other animals, but in these, the tight margin environments of factory farms, anything that will actually reduce weight gain is a justification for implementing this kind of stuff. So yeah, your factory farm pork is already receiving MRNA vaccines courtesy of Merck. What's going to happen with chickens as this spreads through is you're going to have because of the federal policy. And I don't want to argue that there's logic to it. It may not be the only option. But the logic is that if one of these high path avian influenza viruses get into a bird flock, then they need to cull the entire group. And this does result in mass death in the chicken industry and that does result in higher prices and reduced availability of chicken.
Justin Barkley
Dr. Robert Malone that's all the time we have. This is a massive story that we got to continue to follow and dig into. People can find you and follow you all over the sub stack. Get it, read it rw malonemd.com the Glenn Beck PROGRAM.
Glenn Beck
It's a new day.
Justin Barkley
I turn around. Welcome to the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the GLENN BECK Program. Now the latest story is the attack in New Orleans at Trump Tower International in Las Vegas. Story after story. The news never stops and particularly not during a time like this. We're in a very precarious moment. But what about not just the crises that are going on, the ones that may come in the days ahead? We can't forget about those, particularly Americans left in the wake of disasters and crises past. In fact, we'll take talk about one of them that's just getting swept under the rug lately. The folks in North Carolina facing very tough times with weather, temperatures dropping. There's a very, very cold, frigid range here in the days ahead and yet they're still suffering and need help. We'll check in on them with the latest in our guest next. Justin Barkley in today for Glenn Beck on the Glenn Beck Program.
Glenn Beck
The older I get, the more I think about trust. I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust. I know we're alike in that way. We don't trust a lot of people anymore. It's like we're all Ronald Reagan. Trust but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake. I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly. And that's why I started real estate agentsitrust.com I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes so we built real estate. Agents I trust to introduce you to one of the thousands of agents all over the country that we work with that we have verified that they will help you have the most successful and good real estate transaction possible. Our network agents share our sensibilities, have great track records, are good and decent people and I trust them to help you with your real estate needs. Justin Barkley
They are the forgotten in western North Carolina folks that are dealing with the aftermath of Helene. We just got new reports that female is announced that they've they've moved in some real estate here. No, it's not more homes for folks who are without them right now in that area that have been so for months now. No, it's a lease, a new lease on a massive 117,000 square foot office building in North Carolina to assist with what they're calling disaster relief. It comes after, well, just 24 hours after they admitted they only delivered three out of the 26 homes they promised by Christmas. And for anyone taking notes at home, this new office building is 224 miles away from the epicenter in western North Carolina. New location can accommodate three times that many. They've leased the entire building for up to three years. State emergency management spokesman Brian Haynes says it shows FEMA is here for the long haul and it will be a long haul. I mean, in all honesty, this will be years probably in the making. Even though it's been three months since Helene hit, Haynes says there are still more than 5,000 households in transitional housing in hotels and motels. FEMA recently extended the deadlines to apply for disaster relief. The state has asked for $25 billion in federal aid. There's individual assistance which goes to help individual households.
Glenn Beck
A lot of it's going to go.
Justin Barkley
To public assistance which is rebuilding communities. So all of that infrastructure damage, that kind of stuff, roadways. Haynes says FEMA and the state are working closely together and recovery efforts are making progress, but it's slow. It's unfortunate we can't move faster on these things. But you know, it's just a lot of work and it's a lot of moving pieces and we have to kind of work through the process. Well, I know that those people that are on the ground there feel that pain. Wanted to get a check in because I don't want these people to be left behind. I don't want them to be forgotten. I know they feel that way in some ways. There are real average people, everyday folks like you and me that are lending a hand. One of them, Dr. Sherry O'Donnell with a team of folks that has been to North Carolina over and over and over again, the Heartbeat Mission, and wanted to check in on what she's seen on the ground and what they found and the latest. Dr. Sherry, appreciate you taking the time to be here with us today.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
My pleasure and good morning and happy New Year to you.
Justin Barkley
So Heartbeat Mission, let's just, you can tell folks what exactly you do. You've been all over the world helping people when disaster strikes, it sounds like. And now you've been serving right here in our own backyard in western North Carolina.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
That's true. Heartbeat mission is our 501c3 arm that helps fund some of our both international and national relief efforts. And when the earth, when the hurricane happened in North Carolina, we did respond and we've sent a group of others over three different times. Now. Once the new year begins and kind of we get our feet back on the ground after the holidays, we'll be sending additional people.
Justin Barkley
What have you found on the ground so far? I know Glenn's group, Mercury One, that done some fantastic work there, along with the folks at Franklin's group as well. It's been real life, everyday people that have really come together here. And Linda Hannah, tremendous ways, neighbors helping neighbors, so to speak, here in America.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
Very much the local response and the response of the churches. We can't forget the power of the churches. That's been a beacon in the community and a beacon in our nation for decades. So it really was the common citizens and the churches as well as the local government that have responded. FEMA was actually we ran into some of the inept at best response from fema. I'm glad that they're saying that they're going to be there for the long haul. I hope they're there for the long haul and do something effective. But it was a local response that was responding to people. And the area that we went into is still so decimated that we actually had to take helicopters in because the roadways were still closed.
Justin Barkley
Used. You told me a story speaking of FEMA and the response, and this is something that I know that President Trump is, is going to be working on at every level of government to make sure that any of the inept sort of old way of doing things, the attitudes, whatever it might be, are wiped out. But you told me a story about a woman there in North Carolina that, that you all had approached and she asked who you with? Are you with fema? Because if so, she didn't have some kind words. But she went on to tell you something that someone from FEMA had, had said to her that absolutely dropped my jaw.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
I know exactly what you're talking about, Justin. So that was the initial question we would be asked by anybody whose property we we approached was, are y'all from fema? If so, get the blanket blank off my property. That's how they responded to fema. But one lady, when she realized we were not with fema, she cordially invited us in and she said to me that the FEMA agent had asked her if she had enough food. And she said, yes, ma'am, I do. I got it from down there at the Best Western because people are coming in. And she said, well, did you show id. She said, ma'am, almost my whole house is blown away and washed away. I didn't have id. The FEMA agent said, you know, ma'am, I could confiscate your food, and that's what we're going to be doing here. And she said, no, wait a minute. These illegal aliens are able to come in and vote without id, But I can't get food? She said, ma'am, I can take. I can confiscate your food. The lady said, ma'am, you see that yellow house up there? Why don't you start right there? Because you won't go to the second one. Out there's my house, and you won't be going to a second one. And then she turned to us and she said, in these hills, we could lose people real easily. But this FEMA agent had literally told her, because she did not show ID to get the food, that she could confiscate her food.
Justin Barkley
I can't imagine you're threatening to take food away from people in such a. Such a vulnerable moment. It's unthinkable. And there's really only one word that comes to mind, and that's evil. It's certainly American.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
Yeah, absolutely. You know, but that's. That's literally. Justin, what we were seeing frequently was the very basic needs of these people were not being met except by for the locals. You know, they're still. There are better than 200 families that are still without housing. We're working directly with one lady that has three children and she is displaced, you know, so we're trying to get these tiny houses built that will house a family of five or six, you know, and we're working closely with the churches. We're working with Antioch International Church, which is on the border, South Carolina and North Carolina. But the devastation is so far reaching that these people are still without housing. And those that have their power restored, it's still so temporary. And then, unfortunately, last Sunday, with the most recent storm, some of the temporary bridges are washed out again. So it's, you know, two steps forward and three steps back. These people are in dire need.
Justin Barkley
So what needs to be done, obviously, we have very, very cold temperatures in just days that will be sticking around for a while. We're talking freezing, frigid temperatures, maybe more snow in that area. And from what I remember saying, a lot of these folks were given tents. They were told they couldn't have tiny homes or trailers or RVs in different places. There's all kinds of red tape even, and some of it local that they were having to deal with as well. But we're talking about dangerous, deadly scenario when it comes to the weather here in just days ahead here.
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
And Justin, it's not even days ahead. They are mid storm when we left in October on Sugar Mountain had received an inch and a half of snow. And with snow comes at cold temperatures. With the snow comes even greater difficulty in passing on the roads. These people need the very basics. They need housing, safe, warm housing. And to say that, you know, they're not allowed some of these sheds again, red tape and bureaucratic insufficiency and it's not, it's not okay. You know, think about being outside now and sleeping outside and doing these things. That's, we need to get these people the very basic of what they need. That's power, that's housing, that's food. But these people are still, many of them still displaced.
Justin Barkley
I can't, I can't imagine. I know that Christmas must have been especially tough for a lot of folks, but there are some good things happening too. I want to talk about those and what happens when Americans come together. Coming up in just a moment. More questions and we'll dig into some of the things that you may not have heard anywhere else coming up after this. Dr. Sherry, if you can hang for a quick, quick brief break here, Dr. Sherry O'Donnell is with me. Justin Barkley, in for Glenn. Today on the Glenn Beck Program.

Justin Barkley
That was the beginning.
Glenn Beck
Of what has been the longest three.
Justin Barkley
Months of my life.
Glenn Beck
We've been trying so hard to find something and there's just been nothing.
Justin Barkley
I feel like we got forgotten. It's a new documentary from folks at Samaritan's Purse and on the ground there she's been multiple times and headed back soon. Dr. Sherry O'Donnell, our good friend, she's with Heartbeat Mission. And Dr. Sherry, telling us some of the things I guess I want to really ask you. There's some good things happening there too. We talk about some of the efforts from volunteers and the people, the real life Americans that are making a difference there. But can you tell me first what is the one thing that people just aren't hearing about what's happened on the ground or is happening on the ground in North Carolina right now?
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
That people are still without homes and without food in some places? You know, the response by the American people, not fema, not the government, was beautiful. But that was in the initial inception of End Problem. But these are long term. These are ongoing situations that we can't forget about these people. So the fact that there are still some without power. So we're trying to get some gas and propane portable tanks in there and not just ones that you can carry, but they're actually on trailers that costs about 600 bucks a piece and that'll actually heat up a community for a little bit. But Justin, you said something. I want to be clear. I was there once, but we're continuing to send teams through Heartbeat Mission and we're working with the local church. I may or may not be back, but I didn't want the listeners to think that I'd been there multiple times. But the needs are ongoing and that's what we've got to remember. It's not just a quick fix and it's not going to be a quick fix. Swing it all the way from construction people. We need people that can organize some of the supplies that have come in. We need people that will literally just hand carry and bring things to some of the residents. We need some of the side by side vehicles to go to places that are not otherwise able to be reached still. But I think the big message is we can't forget about them. This is ongoing needs for the people.
Justin Barkley
How do you fix this? I know you're on the outside looking in, but how do you fix something like this? This? There's a story that's circulating locally in there in North Carolina, Father of two children in Lee county speaking out again after FEMA called threatening to take his temporary home three days before Christmas. They never showed up. Rescheduled for New Year's Eve and then no showed him again. He says it feels like he doesn't exist. County father is not starting off 2025 on a good note, he says. Thanks to FEMA. I'm senior reporter Emily Young, and I first introduced you to Joshua Dockstadter right before Christmas, when he was notified just six days prior that FEMA was taking away the trailer he's lived in since May of 2023 on Christmas Eve. And since then, this story has gotten even worse. The timeline of this story is a bit confusing, but after that first phone call, Dockstadter took a day off of work to pack up his entire trailer and put every single thing he owns outside. He drove his two very young children up north to be with their grandparents so they could actually have a holiday while he stayed back in Lee county and tried to figure out where they were going to go and what they were going to do. He took another day off of work to be home when FEMA came to take the trailer. But he says that was a waste of a vacation day because they never came. He says FEMA reached out again soon after to tell him they'd be coming on Monday the 30th to pick it up. So again, he took a day off. But that was another waste, he says, because again, they never showed. This time at least canceling mere hours before they were supposed to come. As it stands now, FEMA has told Dockstadter to stand by for a new date. So here he sits alone again, lots of folks standing by, whether it's a situation like this or standing by in North Carolina for other things that FEMA has promised. Do we just need a total overall in this category here? What needs to happen in order to make sure that we've got the right people in place who are making decisions that, I don't know, you and I may look at as common sense?
Dr. Sherry O'Donnell
Unfortunately, Justin, common sense is not too common amongst our federal government right now. So do we need to dismantle FEMA as it is right now? Yes. What we experienced firsthand was adversarial with fema. They stopped us and turned us around and there was no good reason. When we were bringing in supplies to a school that had kind of set up as a disposition center, we saw people with FEMA that were just plain adversarial. One of the FEMA agents came in and wanted to start hauling the school supplies that we had procured and that citizens had given, they said, no, no, no, this can't be a. Here at the hangar. Like who are you to come in and say that a private hangar can't make a disposition center for the people?
Justin Barkley
I will say this, not all the news is bad out of North Carolina. As I mentioned, a lot of it is the people, the real life, everyday folks, the Americans, not the government who are doing the greatest work. A father and his eight year old daughter have been digging residents out of their homes with excavators for three months. Months free of charge. Here's what she says she's learned.
Glenn Beck
I've been learning that it's best to.
Justin Barkley
Help people and you always have to put people first before yourself. When I think of Jake and his company, I just feel like crying because what they have done for us is just unbelievable. Lydia says the crew has been at her bat cave home site for a week. Do you see the line right there? That's her septic comedy completely out.
Chris Zimmerman
We moved the river.
Justin Barkley
Jake and his crew also installed a bridge under the water with concrete blocks so Cruz and the family can get across. We asked how he's doing it. Donations. Donations have topped $100,000. Jake matching them with sweat equity, doubling the hours he works with the donations coming in. His daughter by his side. On Precision's Facebook page, messages like Jake, you'll go down in the history book as a one man wrecking machine during such rough times. Jake thanking all who've posted and welcoming help and explaining how to send donations. That is, that is incredible. And I'll tell you there will be more stories and you will hear over and over again as they come out. But our goal today, just to make sure as we face a lot in the year ahead of us here and the crises that are even mounting as we speak, not to let some of these other folks who are still, still suffering and, and they're attempting to recover. Many of them getting back on their feet thanks to the help of people like Dr. Sherry O'Donnell, Samaritan's Purse, Heartbeat Mission. As she just mentioned, heartbeatmission.org and Mercury One. Some fantastic folks doing great work. Coming up, model of the hour. She warned us that these attacks will be coming in the new year, the ones that we've seen over the weekend. We'll talk about what she said and what could be ahead after this. Justin Barkley, justinbarkley.com Back next on the Glenn Beck program, in for Glenn. Happy New Year. Stand up, Glenn Beck.

Justin Barkley
More Glenn Beck in a moment. She warned of it. She said it was coming, it was on the way and then it just happened this weekend. So wait a minute. I just want to Clarify. You are 100% certain that there are 1,000 plus Al Qaeda trained fighters within the United States borders? Well, al Qaeda says they trained and.
Dr. Robert Malone
Deployed 1,000 for this attack. First off, I think there's more than a thousand al Qaeda members in the United States. But for the homeland attack, that number.
Justin Barkley
Is based on what al Qaeda is saying.
Dr. Robert Malone
So they could exaggerate it. However, they did have about 1400 in the Hamas attacks. So the number is is not off from what they did in the first round of attack.
Justin Barkley
Sarah Adams on a podcast, Sean Ryan show, fantastic show by the way. Sean does just a amazing job of talking with folks in the know. And Sarah is one of those folks, former CIA who is warning about what was to come. In fact, it may have already begun. We have some of that picture already with the attack that took place in New Orleans the other day. She warns there may be even more on the way yet ahead. Sarah joins us now on the Glenn Beck Program. Sarah, thank you for taking the time to be here. Is, is this what you were warning about?
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, I mean, this is the style I was warning about. You know, I'm hearing rumors that the gentleman at least in New Orleans did have some sort of contact, you know, with isis, Khorasan province, which is the branch in Pakistan, Afghanistan in the last month or two so it's at least along the plot lines that Al Qaeda has been planning.
Justin Barkley
Well, let's talk about this guy. And actually there are two attacks. So let's talk about the attack in New Orleans. So what we know is that both this individual responsible for this attack in New Orleans and then another attack that took place at Trump International Hotel, where a cybertruck, a Tesla cybertruck, was essentially set on fire with the fireworks and gas and all kinds of other things, both perpetrated by apparently men who not only served together in the army, but at the same time, at the same base. I guess back in 2013 or somewhere in those times, they both used this Turo app to rent vehicles. Both of them electric trucks, to use both. So there's a lot of coincidences in these. And the question, I guess, might be more so, what do we know about these guys, what they did, and how it maybe ties into some of the things that you've talked about, Warren about.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah. I would look at these two as two separate instances. Right. I think the one in New Orleans is your normal international terrorism. I think the one in Vegas is likely politically motivated domestic terrorism. Yes. Both are at Fort Bragg in 2012. But remember, that base has over 50,000 personnel on the base. That's pretty much the size of CIA. So I served with a lot of people in 2012 in CIA. Right. How many actually sat at next to me? Very few. Also, the Turo app is the number one ride sharing app in the United States. Right. So that connection is not that valid when you look at it as the most popular app. Also, terrorists are interested in electric vehicles for the fact that they know that fire departments cannot put out the fires in electric vehicles, so they're choosing to use them because this is a well known problem with our responsibility response. It's very difficult to respond if the vehicle is to catch on fire. So I would look at them as two different things, but there are some similar, similar modus operandi.
Justin Barkley
So this is the question about these, these types of attacks and what attacks may be coming. We are in a very precarious moment in time here in this country. And a lot of things have led up to this moment and the weaknesses and the things that we're dealing with now, maybe you can talk about some of those things, but whether they're coming from ISIS or Al Qaeda or even from within, folks have been radicalized politically. It just shows us that we maybe never before been this vulnerable as we are. What should we take away from that? What should we be doing?
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, I mean, I think a big piece especially involving these two. Right. Is this division within our own country. Right. We kind of are becoming our own worst enemy, and that's a problem. And then, of course, we have led a lot of terrorists into the country over the last three or four years, which I think will be the bulk of the problems we have in 2025.
Justin Barkley
Right.
Dr. Robert Malone
So things are compounding. You know, the way we pulled out of Afghanistan has caused damage, if people want to believe it or not.
Justin Barkley
Right.
Dr. Robert Malone
Both these individuals involved in attacks yesterday were involved in Afghanistan. Right. They had duty, tours of duty there. So I think there is a point in time now where we take a step back, look at the damage we cause, and figure out how to reverse some of this and then be proactive against the actual terrorist threats as well that are coming forward.
Justin Barkley
I know that they postponed the football game yesterday, the sugar ball, and they could do it today. But I don't know, part of me, just on the very human side, I tend to want to avoid big crowds and things anyway, that's just me. But I watch and see these things happening. And as vulnerable as we are, my only question is now, do I do that? Do I continue to avoid those crowds? Crowds? What's your advice to the American people, or do the terrorists win if we do that? It's just a weird sort of rock and a hard place we find ourselves in.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah. I mean, I think what really matters is you want to go to venues or locations where you really can trust that the security is up to par, they're doing a good job. I mean, remember the Taylor Swift concert over in Vienna? The attackers were actually hired as guards for the venue. Right. So you also can't trust that some of these big events have the correct security. So I think what you really need to do is pay attention. Right. Make sure you feel comfortable with it. And if you don't, you might want to choose, you know, to not do that. You know, obviously, I know that there is some airline plotting in some of the attacks in 2024, and I may choose not to, you know, take some flights as a result. Now, I don't think it's a terrorist win if you make a personal decision for your own security.
Justin Barkley
Right.
Dr. Robert Malone
I think we need to be alert, we need to be aware, we need to prepare. And as we saw in New Orleans, we need to know how to do first aid so we can help people if there is an incident around us.
Justin Barkley
All right? So that's something that I've seen and I believe is something That I personally want to add to my list of being prepared for things is just being able to take care of people. First aid is a great way to do that. And what I might need to do and to look into that, maybe you can give us some tips on that. But also, you know, just, just double checking, triple checking, making sure. Because in scenarios like in New Orleans would have never happened if they would have had the security bollards up and as we were told, they were being repaired or prepared for the super bowl or something along those lines. I don't know. But the full details on this we still got. I'm sure more and more will come out as time goes on. But you know, just when you think, because I think a lot of us have sort of been lulled into that safety and security the last few years of thinking, well somebody's got that or it's taken care of, that may not be the case.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, we have become complacent.
Justin Barkley
Right.
Dr. Robert Malone
Even think about it, a lot of our law enforcement departments got really good training after 9, 11. But when's the last time they're trained even like maybe some of their equipment. When's the last time like their gas mask, you know, the filters been changed, like all these basic things, we have gotten lazy and the enemy is going to take advantage of that complacency. And obviously you shouldn't be repairing a barrier and not have it ready for an event like New Year's.
Justin Barkley
Right.
Dr. Robert Malone
I mean this is a huge problem. The other thing that you asked about, you know, is first aid. And one thing we like to recommend is stop the bleed because it's very easy to get. You can usually call your local fire department and there's usually free courses in your area. So it's a simple program to go through.
Justin Barkley
That's super helpful, Sarah Adams, with this right now. And I want to talk, if I can, a little bit more to dig into this, this threat of what you see coming in the days ahead, the reports that you've received and what people should know. Obviously these are tense times and who knows knows what's going to happen up until the time that Donald Trump lays his hand on that Bible and is sworn in. It's going to be a very precarious, tumultuous moment in time. But then we're not, we're not completely off free after that. There's going to be a lot of from then to on all, there's going to be a lot of time where people are going to and there are folks that don't want him to succeed, don't want America to succeed. And these are things that we all ought to be aware of. If you can hang with us, Sarah, would love to continue the conversation and talk a little bit more about your warning, how folks can hear more about it and get ready no matter what's coming up ahead. Justin Barkley in for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck Program.
Glenn Beck
Back you're listening to the swinging sounds of Glenn Beck.
Justin Barkley
Sit tight, boys and girls.
Glenn Beck
We'll be right back after these messages. The new year is a time of reflection on the past year and hope for the year to come. Last year was a turbulent time for Israel and the Jewish people. The devastating and ongoing multi front war, an unprecedented rise in global anti Semitism and the loss of many Jewish lives. But there has also been an uprising of love. And from you, the listeners and by the organization, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, your support of IFCJ has saved lives and answered prayers. Thanks to the generosity of people in the United States, bomb shelters have been built and placed, life saving food and emergency supplies have been provided to evacuees and those in critical need and protective gear and medical equipment has been distributed to first responders on the front lines. There is still more work to do. Join the movement of those who have raised their voices to support Israel and the Jewish people. We ask you to continue your prayers and ongoing support today by visiting supportifcj.org that's one word. Supportifcj.org.
Justin Barkley
Sarah Adams is here with us now. She warned against the attacks, said they were coming. Want to find out a little bit more about about that. Actually written about it in the book and talked about it with Sean Ryan. Fantastic podcast. Check that out. Benghazi, Know Thy Enemy, A Cold Case Investigation. That's part of the book that she's got out right now. Sarah, thank you for taking the time to talk this through with us. We don't have a lot of time left but just tell us again, the threat is from ISIS and Al Qaeda and that there were attacks planned for this year.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, they basically planned a number of attacks. There'll be a series of lone wolf attacks which kind of split law enforcement's focus and then there's going to be a large event swarming multi city, mass casualty events and that'll be kind of the culmination of everything. The one thing the two groups are focused on this year, that there will be no peace in America. I want to give a quote really quick by Osama bin Laden, what America and its allies fear the most is that we take the battlefield from Kabul, Baghdad and Gaza to Washington, London, Paris and Tel Aviv, and to take it to all the American, Jewish and Western interests in the world. And all four of those cities I discussed have active and operational plots ongoing right now. So we need to take what they're saying seriously.
Justin Barkley
Obviously, the open border hasn't helped with any of this. But you talk about the plots or the attacks and what they might look like. Like what are some of the ideas of what these things might look like.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yes. So they have a number of things planned. One is basically suicide bombers. They're going to have about 10% of their attackers be suicide bombers. That's something we've really not seen in the United States. Another thing is they're planning to bomb airliners again. Multiple airliners at once. Kind of like the plot that was thwarted in 2006. Another thing is they want almost like, I don't know if you would call it street fights, but they're called fideian attackers. So attackers in the streets that will fight to the death. And then the last kind of pieces is they want to bring in a number of the different styles, vehicle rammings, knife attacks and then vehicle borne explosive devices. Right. So they have a lot planned coming forward to us. And they also invented this thing called the invisible bomb. They've been talking about it for years. They actually did a plot about it several years ago that the Saudis helped us Thor. But they've now advanced this invisible bomb into vest form and now they can walk into airports and buildings, etc. And you won't even know that they have a vest on.
Justin Barkley
So I can imagine to a lot of folks listening, this is terrifying. But we can't stick our head under the sand. That's not an effective way to deal with this. How does America deal with it moving forward personally in our lives? And of course at the very top, as President Trump has had it on his way in.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah, I mean, I think we need to be proactive and get our security standards back up to where they used to be post 9 11. Right. We've gotten really lax with these vests. For example, going into airports. If you put everybody through the millimeter way scanners, it'll thwart the plot. Right now we have it. Oh, everybody with pre check goes just to the metal detector and then all the people get opt out of the way. Scanners know, like make it mandatory. Everybody goes through it. Like there's things that we've gotten lapsed on because people have complained about it. And it's time we stop doing that. We tighten back up.
Justin Barkley
People are going to be hearing this, thinking the same thing, the just the audible sigh. Where can people stay up to date with you? Because this is a conversation again that really it needs to take place over a long period of time and back and forth. Where can people stay up to date with you? I know you do some great work online.
Dr. Robert Malone
Yeah. So my Twitter is TPA Sarah. We're going to be launching in the next three or four weeks a part of my network. And then if you know Scott Mann, he ran Task Force Pineapple. We're going to be running an initiative called the Gathering Storm. So we're going to start putting out content on that and that's going to give the public kind of a framework of what threats we're seeing coming forward in the year ahead and then how law enforcement, the community and just everyday individuals can prepare themselves and get ahead. And then over on Instagram, we run a page, it's called Asari Media Group, A SK A R I Media Group. And that's where we actually do a lot of things where we talk about specific components of the plot and how to prepare because a lot of the terrorist groups actually have Instagram band. So it is, it's a better avenue to have some of those discussions with the American public.
Justin Barkley

Well, the news, it never stops. And the news of the last few days, well, it's, it's really tough to deal with some of this stuff, especially now. We just got this breaking story in cnl. CNN now reporting the driver of the cyber truck and the explosion there at Trump Hotel in Las Vegas was an active duty Green Beret. This is incredible. Has confirmed in just the last few minutes that he is an active duty U.S. special Forces soldier assigned to 10th Special Forces Group, according to four U.S. officials that he holds the rank of master sergeant, a senior enlisted rank, these officials said. Three officials said he was on active duty serving in Germany and he was.
Glenn Beck
On leave when this happened on New Year's Day.
Justin Barkley
He has not been identified publicly and authorities are still trying to work out whether this was a terrorist attack. Now just to recap a little bit of what happened behind us just 24 hours ago approximately there are still police presence here around the valet area of where you pull into the Trump International Hotel just off of the Vegas Strip. This cybertruck that he allegedly rented was rented from Colorado from the Turo rental platform. Authorities say that he drove it here to Las Vegas by 7:30am on New Year's Day, that he drove up and down the Strip and then about an hour before the explosion drove past the.
Glenn Beck
Trump Hotel as well.
Justin Barkley
And police did make note that the damage was really limited because of, of the body construction of this Tesla cybertruck. Okay, so lot to take in there. But this, this man was an active duty Green Beret Special Force. This is, you know, these, these are heavy, heavy stories. This is heavy news. And I wanted to initially when I invited our next guest and I wanted to talk in a little more positive note about what is to come. But I still think we can do that. That looking back in the history of this nation, I'll tell you, I see even in some of the chaos of the storm that's swirling around us right now, I see some bright shining moments, some glimpses of glory and maybe even miracles. A great example is that truck there. That, that, that, that attack, that explosion looks like at least appears the attempt was meant to do much more damage than it did. There was a signal, a political signal probably being sent by doing this at the Trump Towerman in a cyber truck from Elon Musk Tesla. But that same cyber truck may have in fact, as you just heard this CNN reporter mentioned, may have actually dampen the damage. William Federers with us right now. Bill is a nationally known speaker, best selling author, host, American Minute radio features and faith in history TV program airs daily. He joins us now. And Bill, thank you for taking the time to be here with us today.
Chris Zimmerman
Well, hey Justin, great to be with you.
Justin Barkley
I wanted to initially talk to you about really the direction the country is headed in the election and of course looking forward to the new year with a little more of a positive spin. I really still want to stay in that zone, but I want to really lean into this, this news of the last few days because it does appear we've got some dark days ahead in some ways. But we've been through much of this. If, if we do look back faith in history, if we look back in the history of our country, we've been through much of these dark days already and we've come out on the other end. That's a bit of encouragement I guess I could use. Maybe you can walk us through what that may look like in the year ahead.
Chris Zimmerman
Yeah, well, you know, a couple years ago I did a show with Charlie Kirk and he said what was the, what do you consider the biggest threat to America? And I said critical race theory in the military. And he got quiet for a second. It's like, oh, that one I had on the top of my head. But what we've been doing since really Obama, but Biden is anybody with traditional American values was being forced out of the military and they began to bring in all the LGBTQ and now the non legacy enrollments. So the old fashioned where the granddad served and the dad served and the son wants to serve. But the dei, the critical race theory has been used to allow into the military people that don't hold the same Values that we do. And I was with Frank Afne not too long ago, and he was saying that he's concerned about mainland China and there's a program in the military where non citizens are recruited into the US Military. I said, say that again. He goes, yes, yes, non citizens are recruited into the US Military to help them become citizens. Citizens to help them become citizens. So they're not. And he said, yeah, in Southern California, there's actually a army recruitment center run by Chinese speaking mainland Chinese recruiting Chinese that are not citizens into our US Military. And he said, now we have across America people serving that are not holding the same values that we traditionally had. And then jihadis, beginning with Obama, we see a whole lot of people with jihadi. Remember the Fort Hood, Texas, and there's a army person that starts killing all the other Americans. And then they go to the bend over backwards to say, well, we're trying to figure out psychological problems. It's like they don't want to identify it's the program. We have hardware problems, we have software problems. It's a software problem. There's a mind virus, to use Elon Musk's term. And so we need to identify this mind virus and purge it and realize that we should only have people in the military that want to preserve the traditional American values. Which backdoors us into the concept of what is a traditional American value. And none other than Eisenhower, right? He's the supreme allied commander during World War II. And he said this recognition of the Supreme Being is the first, the most basic expression of Americanism. So if we're gonna boil down to just the most basic common denominator in America, it's we all believe in God. And, and now this is a God of the Bible. Why do I say that? Because it's the only God that believes everyone's created equal. The other ones, if you're a. It is Islamist. If you're a faithful Muslim, you're worth more than an infidel in a Hindu caste system. If you're a Brahmin, you're worth more than a Dalit's untouchable in the lowest cast if you hold an atheist. And yes, that is defined. Atheism is defined as a religion by the Supreme Court. In socialist countries, your worth is dependent on your utility to the state, where only the Judeo Christian belief system is that you have worth because you're made in the image of God, period. Whether you contribute or not, whether you're in some class or caste system or not, you're made in the image of God. And according to Eisenhower, this is the most basic common denominator, the basic expression of Americanism. We need to return back to what identifies us as a nation, and that's it.
Justin Barkley
So let's talk about those things. And do you think. Because this last year, I think, boy, I. I never thought I'd see something. I thought if we, as. As. As much as we've heard it, if we humble ourselves and, and, you know, it's. It's. It happened. If we turn to God, turn away from our wicked ways and repent and all of those things that he would hear from us, and here we are. I think we've been given a chance. It's not over, but we've certainly been given a chance. We saw miracles happen last year. The fact that President Trump survived that attempt on his, Both attempts on his lives, it's just incredible to see what we've gone through. There is some hope. I just. I don't know that folks realize that the fight has just begun. Bill.
Chris Zimmerman
Right. You know, I speak a lot around the country. I speak a lot in churches, and I tell people, you know, if we get through this problem, there'll be another one. If we get. If we get through that problem, there'll be another one. It's sort of like human condition. And I sort of zoom out and I says, well, it's sort of God has plan A and plan B. Plan A is he blesses us. We turn to him out of gratefulness. If that does not work, there's plan B. He. It says, he gives us over to our own devices, and then when things get bad, we turn to him out of desperation. The goal is to have us turn to him. But when you look at American history, my wife and I put together a series of books called Miracles, called Miracles in American History. During the colonial times, when they would have a famine, they would declare a day of fasting, and then a ship would pull into the harbor, and they would say, cancel that. We're gonna have a day of thanksgiving. But it was this idea that God responds to our prayers. There was a cholera epidemic in 1849. 150,000Americans died of cholera. And President Zachary Taylor in 1849 declares the National Day of Humiliation, fasting and prayer to almighty God. By the end of the month, the death rates drop off. You had a threatened war with France, and President John Adams had a day of fasting and prayer. You had James Madison. When the British burnt the White House during the War of 1812, James Madison had a day of fasting and prayer. You had Lincoln had two days of fasting and prayer during the Civil War. Even Woodrow Wilson had a day of fasting and prayer when we entered World War I. And you had Roosevelt passing out Gideon's New Testaments and Book of Psalms to all the soldiers in World War I. You had President Harry S. Truman making the National Day of Prayer an annual event. And Reagan made the first Thursday. And me, we've always been a country that in times of crises, we turn to God. And, and I think we need to respond. And I think we have been responding. And as I totally agree with you, it was a miracle that Trump was not assassinated. I believe it was a miracle from my point of view on election Day that, that he won the popular vote and won so resoundingly when the, the psychological operation of the mainstream media was in full gear, trying to, you know, cover up all the things that were being done on the other side that, you know, from cocaine in the White House to all these other stories that sort of get pushed aside. They were doing their best to do their spin. But with this overwhelming response with a Trump victory, to me, I think that was a part of God answering our prayers. Personally, I think the church involvement is critical. I think the concept of, oh, our kingdom's not of this world and we're not going to get involved. And I wrote a book called Silence Equals Consent, where the same way you're silent at a wedding ceremony, you're giving consent to the wedding vows. Well, guess what? If church members are silent when there's evils going on in the community, they're giving their consent. And if you give consent, you're an accessory and you'll share in the judgment. And I think this, this idea of, oh, we're spiritual, we don't get involved, that's being stripped away way. You're not being spiritual, you're giving your consent to all that evil. And churches are beginning to wake up. And I think that's critical to the future of our country.
Justin Barkley
You're getting into a little bit, I think, at least the direction that we need to head next. And I want to do this as Bill Federer joins us right now with the latest and, of course, response to this attack, of course, what may be ahead in 2025 and beyond for this country and how we should prepare ourselves in the country. I think maybe the question I want to ask you next, Bill, is how do we guard our hearts around all these, the news reports that may come out if we are indeed in for a fight and some maybe Dark days ahead. As we've seen the last few days with these attacks. What do we do to make sure that we are preparing ourselves individually and spiritually for those things as well? Because again, I think, look, we need to know what's going on. Don't stick your head in the sand. But at the same time we gotta make sure that we're walking forward, I think with a little hope, with some faith, encouragement, make sure we're on the right track. How do we do that? We'll take a quick break and be back with Bill after this on the Glenn Beck program. Justin Barkley back next.
Glenn Beck
The older I get, the more I think about trust. I think about the people in my life who have my trust and earned my trust trust and the trust that I have placed in some people who I later learned abused that trust. I know we're alike in that way. We don't trust a lot of people anymore. It's like we're all Ronald Reagan. Trust, but always verify to make sure we're not making a mistake. I find it a little exhausting, quite honestly. And that's why I started realestateagentsitrust.com I didn't have good experiences with buying and selling my homes, so we built real estate. Justin Barkley
Foreign Back with Bill Federer and the question is, is this Bill? How do we guard our hearts? How do we make sure we prepare ourselves and that we're doing all the right things if we do face a fight in the dark days that may possibly be ahead, how do we make sure that we get through this as a country, but also, you know, as a dad, you know, and my family, how do I guide them through it all?
Chris Zimmerman
Well, I'm reminded of Isaiah 6, 8. It says, here I am, Lord send me. In other words, the goal is not to tiptoe through life without having to face problems. One of the stories we love best in the Bible, It's Moses, an 80 year old man standing up to the most powerful military leader, the Pharaoh and his you Know, chariots and. Or David against Goliath, or Gideon with 300 against 100,000 Midianites. I mean, we love the stories of when things look hopeless and God raises up little nobodies with faith and courage. You know, Esther, whether I die, I die. I'm going to go in and see the king. These are the stories we remember. And guess what? This is just our turn. And so this is a time for people to realize that we are called to let God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that we want him to use us. And, you know, I. So the battle is for the mental attitude, the spiritual attitude. And. And I think that when we realize that you were born for such a time as this, that out of all of recorded history, the good Lord decided for, you know, you. That's listening to be alive right now. And so what's his plan for you? Is it just, you know, every now and then my wife flips channels, and we're watching one where it was, you know, people buying little places in the Bahamas, and we're like, oh, that's a cool place. That's a cool place. And I thought, you know, if we lived there, I'd probably, you know, sit out there and look at the waves for, you know, a couple days. And after a week or two, I'd, you know, ride a bike around the whole little island and, you know. But after like a month or two, I'd be like, I'm going crazy. I need to be part of the fight. There's something on the inside of me, especially in men anyway, where little boys want to play, you know, sports, they want to play army men, they want to compete. And I'm one of 11 kids. I have five brothers and five sisters, right? And if there wasn't anything to fight about, we'd make something to fight about, and then we play afterwards. But it's like there's something that just. And I think we're just get to be a part of this big fight with eternal consequences. And. And so the battle is over. Our attitude and. And I think we can do it. And I think Trump is amazing. I can't. I'm 67. But here's somebody that's older than I am, and he's got unbounding energy, and. And he has to. They make him pay $450 million and some fine that everybody knows was lawfare and made up. And how does somebody do that and keep bouncing back every day? But I think he's stirring that attitude up, not just in America but around the world. And so one person can make a difference and we're called to be each one of us one of those people.
Justin Barkley
Oh Federer is the author and the radio host speaker that you're hearing right now. You can find more Bill Federer over on x and American Minute.combill thank you for taking the time to be here with us and some I think great reminders of the hope and encouragement and perspective look if if you're in the fight and you're meant to be here right now, it's something that we ought to get excited about.
Chris Zimmerman
Yeah, I totally agree. You know one other thing is Department of Education was started by Jimmy Carter. We know Jimmy because he gave away the Panama Canal and gave Iran to the Ayatollah. But the Department of Education has been focusing on behavior modification, social emotional learning, more or less brainwashing and we need to get back to teaching the truth. And so the battle is who gets to load the software in the next generation brains and it's our job to put good godly values onto those kids minds.
Justin Barkley
Such an important conversation one unfortunately we don't have time to get through through all the facets of it today. But Bill will do more of that in the books that he's written of course. Americanmeda.com you can find those online at X as well at Bill Federer thank you Bill. We appreciate you and God bless.
Chris Zimmerman
God bless you.

Podcasts are found. Stick around more after the break. With all the things in the news today, there are some good things happening too. With all the bad, the negative, we can't forget the positive and the wins. Justin Barclay and for Glenn today on the Glenn Beck program. Justinbarkley.com all over social media @Mr. Justin Barclay, joining us now from the state where I reside in Michigan, not too far from where I am in West Michigan, comes a story about the little town ship that could in fact an entire county now that stood up against a Chinese communist linked battery plant company called Goshen. And boy, the state government, the federal government and all the folks who really band together public and private partnerships in order to push this thing through. But the people of mcosta county, the people of Green Charter Township, they've all stood up and said no to the CCP influence. China. No to the folks out of Lansing, China. Yeah, China too. And D.C. as well.
Glenn Beck
China.
Justin Barkley
No, the people who want to tell them what's going to happen in their own backyard and noted the corruption that was occurring in their own backyard part. It's an incredible story, one that still isn't over yet, but took another big turn today as we're joined with the the new chair of the mcosta County Commission, Chris Zimmerman with us now. Chris, thanks for taking the time to be here with us today. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program.
Chris Zimmerman
My pleasure. Yeah, he's from West Michigan.
Justin Barkley
You know, it's funny, Chris, because I know, I know you people may or may not know, but I know this guy and I know a lot of the people in the fight here. And I am so thrilled to see what has come out of this thing because it's just real people. The conversation we had previously this hour, Bill Federer, was talking about what it takes for real people to get involved and get into the fight, whatever that fight may look like. Chris, you're a guy who listened to the Glenn Beck program, listened to talk radio and now you're on as a guest because you've made news because you've actually gotten into the fight and scored a pretty decisive victory today.
Chris Zimmerman
Yes, I did. And thankfully the voters of Lucas county voted me in last August against the 20 year incumbent. And you know, back in April when I agreed to throw my hat in the ring, it was over this issue of Goshen. And like a lot of cathedrals, a lot of independent Thinkers, you know, when, when the government, be it just the size of our little, you know, 40,000 person county in west Michigan, when the leaders there kind of thumb their noses at the will of the people and say, you're going to take this battery plant whether you like it or not, I just. That arrogance, that hubris just didn't sit well with me. And so I decided to get off to the sidelines and get involved.
Justin Barkley
So you ran, you were elected as a master county commissioner along with a host of other folks this time around. And today, your first meeting, you're elected as the board chair there. So tell us what passed today? Because there was a resolution, something, something big that took place.
Chris Zimmerman
Correct. The score is we have southern county commissioners. My area is two townships. And I, like I said, I ran on this anti Gosin theme and it worked. Today at my very first meeting, I was elected as the board chairman before of the seven commissioners were replaced last August and November. And all four of us are anti Goshen. So all four of us, we stuck together. I was elected as chairman. And this resolution we passed is actually exhumed from what the local GOP had put together several months, maybe a year ago. They said, this is the resolution that we want. We don't want Goshen, we don't want any part of Goshen, etc. Etc. So I exume that from the dead file and brought it up again. And I had one of the clerks read the actual resolution out loud so the folks in the gallery could hear what was taking place. And one of the three commissioners who was in favor of it, kind of, well, he, he had objections to it. And I said, well, he wanted to postpone it as well. You know, you've had two years or a year, 18 months, whatever, to postpone things, to look into it. Why didn't you do it? He said, well, he didn't have an answer. And then we were. Came back with, well, we weren't aware of public's sentiment on this issue. I said, come on, you know, I've been to these meetings tons and tons and tons of public outcry over this project and let's take a vote. And so we took a vote and this resolution to wash our means of Goshen pass 5, 4, 5 for the resolution and 2 against.
Justin Barkley
So what happened? What happens next? What happens now, Chris, now that you've passed this resolution with the county?
Chris Zimmerman
Well, I, you know, in a lot of ways it was just a symbolic kind of resolution. There's no actual teeth to it. The county didn't put up any money towards it that I'm aware of of and who knows what's going to come next. There are some lawsuits going on between Goshen and the old township that's making their way through the courts. But I have a hunch after January 20, when 4745 gets in, I think, I think this is all going to go away because this whole project was born from the inflation explosion act of Joe Biden's and funnels for Lansing Democrats. So yeah, it's, I have a hunch that it's all going to go away eventually.
Justin Barkley
Chris Zimmerman is the chair of the mcosta County Board of Commissioners in Michigan. That little county there that was fighting against that Chinese Communist Party linked battery plant, Goshen, that was kind of forced on the citizens of that area and in a big fight in a major way has made another, another massive step, symbolic or not, another massive step today to kick that thing to the curb. Chris, let me ask you advice for people that are listening. Maybe they're like you. They find themselves in a fight and if they don't know, say what do I do here? I wanna, I wanna get involved. Should I, what, what, what would you recommend to people? What has it been like for you at least your experience so far?
Chris Zimmerman
You know I, I moved to McCosta county from one county east in 2019 and I'm proud, I'm an insurance guy agent and we do well when we're involved and I would encourage your listeners, someone who wants to get involved, to get involved with the local gop, you know, attend the meetings, see what it's all about. You'll find folks there are just like you. That certainly has been my experience and I've met so many wonderful people who have like minded goals for the country, what's right and wrong and get active. You don't have to write big checks to get involved with the local gop. You meet some dignitaries along the way. You may have a state senator, state representative visit your meetings and we can certainly bend their ears. But just get involved and if fun to have things on your schedule and go to these events and whatever your talents are. I happen to be a writer too so I've written columns for the paper regarding this cause with anti Goshen and so on. So you know, but I can't fix up, I'm not very mechanical. So whatever your gifts are, we're all born with special gifts as my mom used to say. So get involved whatever your gifts are, bringing them to the table get involved, meet new people, make new friends. It's a great, great way to meet folks and it'll sue that urge you have to, to be a great American.
Justin Barkley
Get into the fight. Great advice and, and maybe a resolution for somebody listening for the new year. Chris Zimmerman, thank you so much for taking the time and thank you for all you've done in the fight. We appreciate you.
Chris Zimmerman
Okay, Justin, take care here.
Justin Barkley
You too. God bless. Chris, the chair now of the mcosta County Board of Commissioners. Fantastic story, one I've been following. And by the way, if you want to get deep into the weeds on this, because this company is not just in Michigan. It's, it's actually they've, they've done a couple of places of sites that they've tried to expand this in and trying to pull the same sort of scheme. So Illinois is another one of those states and in fact, these folks have banded together with some of these other folks. Least before we get out of here. You know, you've heard a couple of stories here this hour and some dark news. We're still starting to get details about both attacks out of Las Vegas and the attack in New Orleans. The aftermath of what you're still digging through right now, still starting to get some details about this stuff. And we will through the next couple of days. They've got right now press conference that's going on in New Orleans. There'll be more details coming out about that in the days ahead. The FBI just conducted a call with the House and Senate Homeland Security committees. Three big takeaways amongst some of those from FOX News is live on Capitol Hill with the very latest. Hi there, Aisha. Hi, Julie. We're just getting some new information from this FBI phone call that was ongoing with House and Senate members of the Homeland Security committees as well as the Louisiana delegation. And I can tell you that something that they've learned, this is according to sources that were on this call, they just told FOX News News, something that they just learned was that apparently the FBI is claiming that they had no intelligence on Jabbar before the this attack. They had zero intelligence on him. Well, I don't know that I admit that usually we get the whole he was on our radar thing, but in this case, I don't know which is worse. Jabbar was inspired by isis, they say, but not directed by them. Them. There was zero intel, as you just heard, and they now believe he acted alone. So I don't know how much of this even you can believe. What about Vegas? Was that just a coincidence? So you tell me both of these men were in the army, one of them active, Green Beret, the man responsible for the explosion at Trump Tower, active duty. They both were in together at Fort Bragg. They both used the same Turo rental car company Apta to to rent the vehicles that were used in the attacks. This is, this, this is important stuff I mean this is, is. I just, I have a hard time putting, you know, when we say Kuwait, it's just a coincidence. I have a hard time putting these pieces together, looking at this picture and saying, I don't know. These are the same people in the beginning that told us this wasn't a terrorist attack in, in New Orleans. So as the days go on we're going to get more and more information in fact that that press conference looks like some of us but some characters that are emerging and might get a little interesting. It's a story that will be followed but there is more and more to be followed in the days ahead as well. This is a treat for you. Tomorrow Steve Dase is going to be in and he'll be talking about corset speaker election that's set to take place in the House. Mike Johnson will be reelected or not. I'm sure that'll be top of topic and conversation for you. More good news, New Year's Eve in fact. Fact this kind of gets overshadowed by what else took place on New Year's Eve. But here it is. Whitney Cummings, comedian on cnn, right in front of Anderson Cooper saying some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard on CNN. 2024 election fried our brains. The Democrats couldn't hold a primary because they were too busy holding a body upright. Are we still rolling? Am I off? Go for it. It was amazing that the pro choice party didn't give their voters one when it came to the presidential candidate K was forced on us so hard you think she was patented by Pfizer or Moderna? Whichever one's. Oh God. Andy just gave me a very scary look. No, I love going around the country cuz you see that Americans really are more reasonable than they would be portrayed. Absolutely. They're pretty great. And I'm playing bigger and bigger venues now. I thought being a mom would mean that less people will want to come see me. I'm now playing you know like 3000 seat theater which is about the viewership of CNN these days. Oh my gosh, that is, that is hilarious. And the fact she was able to say it and did it on on cnn. There's more about the Hunter Biden laptop too. This is documentaries finally realized the only way to make money is to just make them. About cheerleaders. The Dallas Cowboys boys cheerleader doc showed the girls being treated horribly. Underpaid, crying. I thought I'd open a video on Hunter Biden's laptop. This is the year everyone hated the movie the Joker. But if you do love watching men descended, you know, Anderson just looking at her sideways kind of. I don't think he wanted his face to show on the camera. Fantastic. If you haven't seen that look for the links, I put that up in my stack today@justinbarckley.com that's it for me, by the way. I'd love to stay in touch with you justinbarkley.com or at Mr. Justin Barkley on all the social media networks. Don't go anywhere. Let's stay connected. Glenn Beck program back tomorrow with Steve Days.
