What is happening with me?
Jeff Fisher
Oh, there we go.
Pat Gray
And. Nope, that's not it either. What happened here? What is going on with the sound?
Jeff Fisher
Oh, yeah, Just weird.
Pat Gray
Me or is it.
Jeff Fisher
No, there's something else. There's something that's going on.
Pat Gray
Something.
Jeff Fisher
What is happening?
Pat Gray
Something happening. I don't know. Is it this? Hello? No.
Jeff Fisher
Okay. That's not it.
Pat Gray
Oh, you know what? There we go. There we go. Somebody pushed a button that shouldn't have been pushed. Okay.
Jeff Fisher
Darn makeup people.
Pat Gray
I didn't. I didn't push that button. No, somebody else came in here and pushed that button. That was. I want everybody to know that was not me. I didn't do that.
Jeff Fisher
I didn't accuse you. I blame the makeup.
Pat Gray
Bj, the producer is accusing me of actually pushing a button that I shouldn't have pushed. Far be it for me. I wouldn't do something like that, sound professional, and would not happen ever. So I just want to make that clear. All right, we've got the radio show coming up in a minute, and we'll talk to you then.

Pat Gray, Jeff Fisher for Glenn and Stu today. Hey, they had the National Day of Prayer yesterday. What are we a theocracy now? Oh, my. You had people praying in the government on government property. Is that okay? Are we Iran now? We'll share some of that with you coming up. But first, if you're buying or selling a home, you know that's one of the most emotional things you'll ever do. One of the most stressful things you'll ever do. It's not just a financial decision, it's your life. And when the stakes are that high, you don't want just any agent. You want someone who actually knows what they're doing and actually cares about getting it right. That's where real estate agents I trust comes in. This is a network Glenn started years ago and it pairs you with the top real estate agents in the country. People who've been thoroughly vetted, who know what they're doing, they've got strong track records of success and they get results. But even more than that, they're people who share your values. You're not just a name on a spreadsheet to them. You're a human being with a dream and a deadline. So whether you're looking to buy your first home or to sell your last one or move across the country, whatever it is, real estate agents I trust can connect you with someone who will fight for you like it's their own home on the line. And it's a free service we provide to you. Go to real estate agentsitrust.com that's realestate agents I trust dot com. Okay. So yesterday was the national day of prayer. This wasn't the prayer breakfast. That, that's another thing that happens.
Jeff Fisher
Right. Cuz this was outside. Yeah, that's what we were noticing when they, they had the prayer breakfast outside.
Pat Gray
But your pancakes would get cold.
Jeff Fisher
It's a national day of prayer.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
So the Trump hasn't domed that yet. So he's getting ready to dome the.
Pat Gray
I don't think he's going to dome the garden.
Jeff Fisher
They're putting a dome over it.
Pat Gray
No.
Jeff Fisher
So he can have events there.
Pat Gray
I. They are going to do something to it, right?
Jeff Fisher
It is happening.
Pat Gray
I don't think they're gon dome it, but they are going to do something to it. And I think Milani is involved in that, is she not?
Jeff Fisher
He wants, he wants it like Mar a Lago so he can have.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
They talked about putting in like stage concrete and then they're going to have these giant tents or whatever so they can have events there. It'll be open. Unless. Unless they have an event and then they'll bring in the tents and stuff. I say don't, but just, just.
Pat Gray
I know you say dome everything.
Jeff Fisher
Still don't. Well, no, not everything.
Pat Gray
Yes, everything. You want football stadiums, domed NFL stadiums.
Jeff Fisher
Definitely need to be done. But that's another subject. I'm happy to talk about that.
Pat Gray
Dr. Phil was at the White House yesterday, and he was very complimentary of the President. Mr. President, I can't tell you, first off, how proud I am to see religion coming back to the White House. God bless you. God bless you for doing this. And let me tell you, it's not a popular thing to do in America right now. And Speaker Johnson and is here, and, you know, he's a man of religion, but, you know, I've sat with President Trump with no cameras around, nobody listening, nobody watching. And I'm telling you, this is a man of deep faith, a man of deep conviction, and this. This is a man that wants this country to have a heart and have religion. And God bless America for giving us President Donald Trump. And when nobody's listening and nobody's. This man cares about every single person in America, independent of race, color, creed, whatever, and it comes from the heart with him. And I am proud to call him my President. And God bless you, Mr. President.
Jeff Fisher
God bless you.
Pat Gray
And you know what's interesting about that is Dr. Phil's not the only one who has said those kinds of things about Donald Trump.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
You know, Glenn has certainly said those kinds of things about pretty much everybody who has ever met him and spent.
Jeff Fisher
Any time with, interactions with. Yeah, yeah.
Pat Gray
That he's jealous. You know, even Bill Maher.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
Said that. You know, he didn't do this for the cameras. He didn't do this because, you know, he's trying to impress me. He was real and he was genuine.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
And he even impressed Bill Maher that way because he is. He's. He's real. He's real, and he knows how to deal with people. And President Trump also spoke at the event.
Jeff Fisher
In a letter to wife Abigail, John Adams wrote of his first national day of Prayer. Millions will be upon their knees at once before their great creator, imploring his forgiveness and blessing and asking for his favor on the American cause. Beautiful. Today, more than two and a half centuries later, in the heart of a free and proud America, we rejoice that God answered those prayers. And I think God answered other prayers because he's put in an administration to run this country that's going to make you proud again.
Pat Gray
Yep.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
And yes, he had more to say.
Jeff Fisher
To you to make me proud.
Pat Gray
Also this.
Jeff Fisher
So as we bow our heads in this beautiful day, once again, we have to trust our God, because our God knows exactly where we're going, what we're doing, knows every inch of our life. And may he continue to hear our prayers, to guide our steps and build up our beloved nation. To even greater heights. We're in the process of doing some great things. I get criticized no matter what, but that's for sure. I just go forward because everyone knows we're right. All we're doing is what they've done to us for 40 years. But we're doing it bigger and better. That's the only thing we're doing. That's awesome. Everyone knows we're right.
Pat Gray
I love that.
Jeff Fisher
Tired of you people. Everyone knows we're right, huh?
Pat Gray
And they do.
Jeff Fisher
They do.
Pat Gray
They know they do. They won't admit it, maybe some of them, but they know it's right. So just finally admit it, all right? It'll make this process much easier.
Jeff Fisher
A lot easier.
Pat Gray
Yeah. And I wish they would, but they're not going to. Also, yesterday we had so many members of this cabinet that were out speaking and, and doing great things. I mean, we got to get to the Stephen Miller stuff, too. But yesterday, Tulsi Gabbard was on Megyn Kelly show, and she talked about the new Ukraine minerals deal yesterday with her.
Tulsi Gabbard
You know, this deal was very important to the president to get done, and today was a big day. A lot of work went into getting this deal signed because he values the fact that, as he talked about earlier in the Cabinet meeting today, about how the American taxpayer has provided overall, when you look at all of the aid that's been given to Ukraine since the Russia Ukraine war started, $350 billion. And when you look at the other European countries made with the aid they provided with Ukraine, either they used frozen Russian money, so they weren't using their taxpayer dollars. They found a way to give them frozen money from Russian funds. And in other areas, they said, okay, we'll loan you this money and we'll figure out a payback plan for the future. But not us, not the Biden administration. This money was just given and that's it. So President Trump understood that, was very, very, very bothered by it, that the American people are just out of pocket on this, without any means of any kind of repayment whatsoever. And so this minerals deal is a way for the American people to get some form of not return, but some kind of a repayment based on the taxpayer dollars that have been expended and used to pay for someone else's government to be run, to pay for someone else's infrastructure, even outside of all of the weapons system, while we still have communities here who have failing infrastructure, who have poisonous water, who have people still in western North Carolina who are homeless.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you.
Tulsi Gabbard
And don't have the basic needs that they have. And so this deal, yes, of course he wouldn't have made the deal if they don't have these rare earth and minerals that still need to be mined. But of course we checked. He's not going to go and make a blind deal based on just a handshake. And so this is a win for the American people and it's a win for the Ukrainian people because this joint partnership is something that is mutually beneficial for the people of both of our countries.
Pat Gray
So keep that figure in mind. The $350 billion that we have poured into that country in both cash and weaponry. Oh, yeah, 350 billion. So, wow, they must be really grateful for that, right? Because we have kept that, that we have kept that country sovereign. A sovereign nation.
Jeff Fisher
We sure have.
Pat Gray
We have. We have stopped Russia from just overrunning Ukraine. And without us, that would not have happened. Everybody knows it. Well, not everybody. There was some Ukrainians that were speaking about it. Cut 15 here's Ukrainians on America.
Jeff Fisher
As the US and Kyiv hammer out a mineral deal, Ukrainians from the mining heartlands have a message for Washington. The resources are theirs. Oleksandr is a resident of Crevy Rear, a city near iron ore mining and processing plants.
Pat Gray
From what I can see, they only.
Jeff Fisher
Want to take, not to give US President Donald Trump has put pressure on Kyiv and threatened to stop the flow of military supplies.
Pat Gray
That doesn't piss you off unless the.
Jeff Fisher
US Gets payback for the billions of dollars it spends in aid. Nothing has been agreed yet. They would like to, but you cannot have dealings with that ginger guy.
Glenn Beck
He's not that kind of person.
Jeff Fisher
The deal is sensitive for Ukraine. About 40 miles north is the town of Shofti Wodi, or Yellow Waters, where uranium and iron ore were mined for decades. Ukraine has a proud history of mining coal and iron ore and hopes to exploit seams of increasingly sought after rare earths. Shofti Wodi resident Nina Fisenko.
Pat Gray
I hope that the people who are.
Tulsi Gabbard
Involved in this think about Ukraine and its people.
Pat Gray
Me too.
Tulsi Gabbard
Because our mineral riches belong to the people.
Jeff Fisher
Mineral revenues are a crucial pillar of the state budget. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Monday the negotiations on creating a mineral revenue fund had made progress. Zelenskyy knows he must win Trump over after a difficult relationship so far, but that there will be uproar at home if he makes a bad deal. Ukraine said on Sunday there was now agreement that the deal would not seek to pay for US Aid provided to Kyiv. In the past. Ukrainian legislator Inna Sovsun said negotiators had to consider future generations.
Pat Gray
It's also critically important when we are designing the future to keep in mind that people will live here in the future. My child will live here in the future. And we have to make sure that there are some economic prospects for this country as well. Yeah, well, you want to make sure there's not Russian troops that are watching every movement you make, that are occupying every city you live in, that are controlling everything you do without us. Yeah. Yep. I mean, can you believe that? That the only thing we do is take the Americans? Only take. Oh, okay, wait, I'm sorry. What about the $350 billion, right. That we have said to you? That is.
Jeff Fisher
I mean, we were agonizing money left and right. Every week it was, there's another 400 million. Yeah, here's another 400.
Pat Gray
Here's another. Well, let's do a six billion dollar bill this week.
Jeff Fisher
But that's not going through just fast enough. Here's another 400 billion just to hide you.
Pat Gray
Over and over and over. It was like twice a week for a while we were talking about these expenditures to Ukraine over and over and over. Congress would pass a bill for 50 billion here, 6 billion there. And then Biden was sending another 400 billion. Like you mentioned, 400 million here and another 300 million there. And you didn't even notice the 300 million because the rest of the figures were so large. It just seemed like we were sending them nothing.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, just by the ATM on the way to the Oval. Pick right quick. 400 million, send it to Ukraine. That's all I can get. So all was available. I was just. It was amazing. And I would. I would like to believe that the translator is the one that's saying those things. And the Ukrainian people don't believe that.
Pat Gray
I would like to believe that, too, but I'm afraid that's just not true. I don't think it is the case. All right, Triple eight, seven, two, seven, B, E, Z, K. More coming up in one minute. You know, when war breaks out, when sirens wail, when elderly Jewish survivors are huddled in stairwells and children are rushed into bomb shelters, there's one group that's already there, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. They don't wait for the dust to settle. They bring food, water, medicine and comfort right into the heart of the crisis in Israel right now. The need is overwhelming. Terror attacks, rocket fire, displaced families. This isn't history. It's happening today. And the Fellowship is standing in the gap. Thanks to people like you. Every gift you give is a lifeline for someone who may have no one else. Someone who still bears the scars of past horrors and now faces a new kind of threat. When you support the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, you're not just giving aid, you're doing that, but you're also doing so much more as well. You're showing up in the middle of the chaos and you're saying you're not alone. Show your support for Israel by making a life saving gift today. Call to make your gift at 888-488-IFCJ. That's 888-488-4325 or you can go online at supportifcj.org that's one word. Supportifcj.org 10 seconds.
Jeff Fisher
Station identification. Get out of here.
Pat Gray
As obnoxious eagles flying all over the place this week, I don't know what the deal is. So Tulsi was out saying some great stuff. I mean, she was talking about the Ukraine minerals deal, which is really huge for us. It's going to be very, very helpful. She also discussed US Funding of gain of function research. This is something that needs more attention and I don't think we paid nearly enough attention to it, especially since, you know, COVID 19 happened for sure and Fauci happened because this continues and it needs to stop. But here she is talking about that.
Tulsi Gabbard
The thing that we are working with Jay Bhattacharya, the new NIH director on with as well as Secretary Kennedy, is looking at the gain of function research that in the case of the Wuhan lab as well as many others around many of these other biolabs around the world was actually US funded and leads to this dangerous kind of research that in many examples has resulted in either a pandemic or some other major health crisis. But let me ask you specifically because we already know the EcoHealth alliance was partnering with this Wuhan lab to create to do gain of function research. Right. We just have never been able to have somebody say and it was that exact experiment that led to this Covid bug. But have we gotten there? What's the new thing that you're digging in on? We are, we are working on that with Jay Bhattacharya and look forward to being able to share that hopefully very soon. Okay, that, that specific link, correct, between the gain of function research and what we saw with COVID 19, I mean that would be extraordinary because just so the audience knows if that's true, if it was Peter Daszik's research with the Wuhan so called bat lady that caused this pandemic. Then we did fund it. Then Anthony Fauci helped fund the pandemic charge charges. The things that he denied over and over and over to Senator Rand Paul's questioning. That's right. Under oath. Under oath, exactly. So it is, is it any wonder that he sought a preemptive pardon for anything during a certain period of time by President Biden before he left office and then strong armed and smeared people like Dr. J. Bhattacharya. Anybody who came out and said I don't know if that's natural. This actually smacks of lab. And the reason why this is so important is not just what happened in the past past, it's because this gain of function research is happening in biolabs around the world. I got attacked and I think you saw this we've probably talked about on your show before when I warned against US funded bio labs in Ukraine when the Russia Ukraine war kicked off for this very reason. Who knows what kinds of pathogens are in these labs and if released could create another Covid like pandemic. And for that I was called a Russian athlete asset. You're, you know, trumpeting Putin's talking points. All of this nonsense simply for speaking the truth and stating facts that by the way are still on US Embassy Ukraine's website today about how the US has funded these biolabs in Ukraine. But in order to. My point is in order to prevent another Covid like pandemic or another major health incident that could affect us in the world, we have to end this gain of function research and provide the evidence that shows exactly why and how it's in our best interest, the American people's best interest to bring about an end to it.
Pat Gray
Yeah, can we stop?
Jeff Fisher
Stop, stop, stop. Just stop. Just stop.
Pat Gray
Because here's the thing. If you're not familiar with gain of function, any organism can acquire a new ability or a new property or a gain of their function. It can happen through natural selection or a researcher's experiments. And that, that part is what we're trying to stop.
Jeff Fisher
Right?
Pat Gray
Stop with the experiments. Stop trying to make a virus be able to jump from animals to humans and vice versa and mutate.
Jeff Fisher
Stop it. Right? I mean they, oh, I think it was Obama that made Fauci stop. And I say made Fauci stop because he didn't, he just, he just started funding, sending money to other.
Pat Gray
Yeah, they just went to China for it.
Jeff Fisher
Other, other Ukraine that were using the money to do gain of function.
Pat Gray
That's right.
Jeff Fisher
So technically we were still funding it. Right. But he was.
Pat Gray
But we weren't doing it.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
It's not us. This is Chinese. We're just giving them money to do it.
Jeff Fisher
People and what they do with it, I. That's up to them. Right?
Pat Gray
Yeah. So it's very dangerous. It's dangerous, right. Because, you know, somehow COVID 19 got out of the lab and infected millions of people around the world. That could happen again and maybe happen with something much more deadly. That's the story. We'd like to avoid the worry. Wow. All right. Triple eight, 727, Becky. More pat and Jeffy for Glenn coming up.
Jeff Fisher

Glenn Beck, Stu Bear, Steve Dase, Jeff Fisher, and me, Pat Gray. Listen to all your favorite conservative voices@blazetv.com use the promo code Glad, Sad and Jeffy for Glenn today. Triple eight, 727 Beck. Apparently, they're having a problem with dolphins in Los Angeles.
Jeff Fisher
Wait, what?
Pat Gray
Yeah, Dolphins are, I guess, beaching themselves. They don't call it. They call it Dolphins. Strandings.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Wales Beach, Wells Beach. Dolphins strand. So they strand themselves on the beach.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, I am not aware of this. So is it because they're eating plastic bags?
Pat Gray
It's happened more.
Jeff Fisher
Is it climate change?
Pat Gray
More right now than it has, according to some of these lifeguards in the last 20 years combined. Wow. And it's because they think, well, it was two in the last 20 years. Now they've seen four.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, my God.
Pat Gray
Just in the last little while.
Jeff Fisher
Stop it.
Pat Gray
But.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
It is causing lifeguards to actually physically break down and weep. Yes. Yes. How dare you laugh? How dare you. It's really sad. You're going to get yourself into trouble again on the animal front this week.
Jeff Fisher
I know. Sorry. The four dolphins. All right, the $4. I should be weeping myself. You should be myself. Come on.
Pat Gray
Because these things have gotten so bad in LA county for lifeguards that they, they have begun to take mental health days to cope with the devastation. Good for the dolphin stranding.
Jeff Fisher
Good for them. Good for them. It means so much. Like, look, it's a struggle to be a lifeguard anyway.
Pat Gray
You're right.
Jeff Fisher
So much on your mind as you're sitting there on the beach.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
Paying attention.
Pat Gray
Well, you got to worry about your tan.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
You know, and make sure it doesn't turn into a burn.
Jeff Fisher
You got to make sure it's staying hydrated enough.
Pat Gray
Hydrated.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
I don't want you to. I don't want you to be out there and be dehydrated.
Pat Gray
No.
Jeff Fisher
And so know I can understand how you need to take a mental health day when you see it.
Pat Gray
When you see a stranded dog on the beach, you're gonna take a few.
Jeff Fisher
Don't you go up to it. I hope nobody's taking selfies or pictures with it. That better not happen.
Pat Gray
They would never do that. They would never do that. It would be undignifying to the dolphin.
Jeff Fisher
Well, not, though. I'm not.
Pat Gray
The dolphin didn't agree to the photo.
Jeff Fisher
People on the beach.
Pat Gray
Okay.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, okay.
Pat Gray
All right.
Jeff Fisher
The mean people on the beach taking pictures with it for their.
Pat Gray
Well, they better not. I'll kick them off the beach.
Jeff Fisher
Well, you get in trouble with the animal people, too. Every state people were taking pictures with the shark on the beach here in Texas and might as well throw them in prison forever, right? Yeah. Don't touch them. Don't touch them. Call the authorities.
Pat Gray
The algae blooms can form due to low water circulation or after weather events like droughts, floods or hurricanes and can quickly proliferate in warm, nutrient rich water. How many times have I talked about that? More times than you can shake a stick.
Jeff Fisher
Kills a lot of stuff in Florida, too. Sure does. That's very deadly, very bad.
Pat Gray
So the bloom, currently wreaking havoc off the coast, produces a neurotoxin called domoic acid. Which accumulates in small fish like sardines and anchovies. And then, of course, the dolphins eat the sardines and anchovies.
Jeff Fisher
Right. Of course.
Pat Gray
When they should be said, hey, they should be told, you might not want to eat the sardines and anchovies right now. Might want to change your diet a bit because they're toxic. Yeah, they're. They're toxic.
Jeff Fisher
But they don't.
Pat Gray
But they don't.
Jeff Fisher
They don't.
Pat Gray
No.
Jeff Fisher
So when you see it happen and look, I. I'm sad for the dolphins. I don't.
Pat Gray
I am.
Jeff Fisher
Dolphins to die.
Pat Gray
Dolphins are really smart, apparently.
Jeff Fisher
I don't want dolphins to die.
Pat Gray
I don't either, but either.
Jeff Fisher
I'm not weeping when they strand themselves on a beach. I'm sorry, that just not.
Pat Gray
Well, that's because you're a heartless.
Jeff Fisher
It's just not gonna happen.
Pat Gray
A heartless human being. That's all you are, is heartless.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
That's why.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
Others of us would break down and weep openly, and then we would.
Jeff Fisher
You need a mental health.
Pat Gray
We would request a mental health day. Yes. Yes.
Jeff Fisher
Lifeguards actually get a mental health.
Pat Gray
Just reading the story. I might have to take a mental health day on Monday. I may have to do that. Just from the story.
Jeff Fisher
You're gonna be able to survive the next couple of days.
Pat Gray
I honestly don't know right now. Okay. I'm trying, Trying to get through it.
Jeff Fisher
But, I mean, it's doubled right there. Dolphin stranding has doubled in 20 years.
Pat Gray
Yes.
Jeff Fisher
So.
Pat Gray
Yes. So here's what John Warner of the Marine Mammal Care center in San Pedro said.
Jeff Fisher
Said.
Pat Gray
He said this is the end of the debate about whether climate change is real.
Jeff Fisher
There you go.
Pat Gray
You know, it had to be coming.
Jeff Fisher
There you go.
Pat Gray
It had to be coming.
Jeff Fisher
It's the end of the debate.
Pat Gray
There is nothing else that can explain this, and I hope that's sinking in. Okay, So I know that we've all been waiting for the chief executive of the Marine Mammal Care center in San Pedro, John Warner, to let us know when the discussion is over. So what a relief that we can now put it to bed. He just let us know it's over. It's at an end. It's real. Shut up about it. No more negative talk about man caused climate change. John said it's done.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
So it's done.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you.
Pat Gray
Don't make me tell you again.
Jeff Fisher
Is that Don speaking?
Pat Gray
It's John speaking. I'm just relating what John is telling you. Okay. I mean, come on now. There could Be a million explanations for this. This is, this is an end to the global warming. Shut up. They already, you know, they've already, they explained in the article. They said it might be the runoff from the fires.
Jeff Fisher
Which is very possible.
Pat Gray
Which is very possible.
Jeff Fisher
Very possible.
Pat Gray
But they don't have any idea, really. They don't know what caused this for sure.
Jeff Fisher
Really. Okay, let's say that it is. We've created this algae and then that's getting anything. The dolphins are eating that. Mother Nature is ridding the Earth. I mean that's kind of a cyclical thing, almost like weather. Yeah, almost. So it'll be okay. It'll be okay.
Pat Gray
How often has the planet gone through cycles like this? Not just the slightly warmer cycles, but where the water warms or the water cools and I mean we get changes in the climate.
Jeff Fisher
We've played that clip. I don't even think we have it anymore. We played that clip from that one CBS reporter telling us that if the ocean, if the ocean was a little bit hotter, we'd all be dead. Well, no kidding. But it's not.
Pat Gray
Yes. Carbon emissions also trap heat. Today's report shows oceans have absorbed 90% of that heat.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
Raising ocean temperatures by half a degree. Had all that heat gone into the atmosphere, air temperatures could have risen by more than 200 degrees. Holy cow. Well, okay, so if the Earth, if it didn't work the way the Earth.
Jeff Fisher
Works, we'd all be dead.
Pat Gray
We'd be dead. Yeah. It would be 285 degrees in Hugh in Texas right now.
Jeff Fisher
Fortunately, the Earth does what the Earth does. Right?
Pat Gray
Right. It's frustrating.
Jeff Fisher
Very frustrating.
Pat Gray
It's really, really frustrating. And I get so tired of hearing it.
Jeff Fisher
I don't know. I honestly don't know how many. It's easy enough to find out. I guess I could ask Jeebs, how many dolphins do we have? Have, you know, on the planet?
Pat Gray
Yeah, well, six of them are dead now because they stranded themselves. Okay, so that's 6 less than we used to have.
Jeff Fisher
Not another dolphin had a baby, not new dolphins being born, hatched, how dropped from the sky, however they get created.
Pat Gray
Look, I'm not going to play your game of trying not to be alarmed by this. I'm not going to play that game with you because Pete is gonna. They're gonna be on the phone here any minute now.
Jeff Fisher
Too late. They already have been.
Pat Gray
I'm, I'm typing it up right now. How many dolphins are left in the world? Somebody's already typed that in. And so. Okay, click on that, there's no single precise number for the total number of dolphins.
Jeff Fisher
Okay. But they probably have a pretty good idea.
Pat Gray
Population estimates vary depending on species and. And region. Don't give me that. They're all. They all look alike to me. So just tell me about all dolphins. Porpoises, whatever.
Jeff Fisher
Smaller ones in the inland waterways when I lived in Florida. And I thought, oh, those are different than the big ones. But they're still dolphins.
Pat Gray
It is. Okay. It is estimated there are approximately 6 million common dolphins.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
There's at least 40 species of them.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
Of dolphins and porpoises, with population sizes ranging from a few hundred to several million.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
Depending.
Jeff Fisher
All right, so there's a lot. There's a lot.
Pat Gray
There's a lot of dolphins. Important.
Jeff Fisher
So I know you're not playing the game.
Pat Gray
No, I'm not. I won't play it with you.
Jeff Fisher
But we don't know if these dolphins in California were the common ones or the extra speed, the extra uncommon ones.
Pat Gray
No. And you're starting to piss me off now.
Jeff Fisher
And you know, I don't know that. You know, maybe the pod will be devastated without the four dolphins. If they came from the same pod.
Pat Gray
Well, let me ask you this. If four people in your family died, would you be devastated?
Jeff Fisher
I need more specifics.
Pat Gray
I forgot who I was dealing with for a minute there. I forgot just for a second.
Jeff Fisher
Sorry. Yeah, of course I'd be sad that. Of course I'd be sad. I'm not playing your little game. Okay.
Pat Gray
Okay. All right. Yeah, that's great. Which four? That's priceless list. All right.
Jeff Fisher
We.
Pat Gray
We meant to get to the Stephen Miller stuff because he's awesome.
Jeff Fisher
He brought up the sadness of the dolphins dying.
Pat Gray
Yeah. I did spend more time on that sadness that I. Than I meant to, but in an early morning press conference, Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. He should be the chief.
Jeff Fisher
There's no doubt about that.
Pat Gray
You know, he's. He's the man right now. I mean, I couldn't even. Could I tell you who the Chief of staff is?
Jeff Fisher
She. Susan?
Pat Gray
Yeah. Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Was that her name? I can't. Honestly, I can't remember her name, so. But no, no, no. Caroline Levit is the spokesperson, but the Chief of staff.
Pat Gray
I don't know.
Jeff Fisher
She's the daughter of our football announcer.
Pat Gray
She's the daughter of our football announcer.
Jeff Fisher
Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'll tell you.
Pat Gray
Oh, she's the daughter of Pat Summer.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you.
Pat Gray
Right, right, right. But her name's not Summerall because she's Married?
Jeff Fisher
No, it is not.
Pat Gray
Okay. So do you have it? The jazz Jeeves?
Jeff Fisher
I'm asking Jeeves now, but I just want to know the Chief of staff, not how you become Susie Wiles. Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Susan Miles.
Pat Gray
Yeah, yeah, Susan Wiles. All right. So anyway, the Che. The Deputy Chief of staff Stephen Miller was talking about how children are treated in American schools. When it comes to the question of gender, this guy just makes too much sense.
Stephen Miller
This applies to our whole K12 system. The Department of Justice is also coordinating with state and local law enforcement to fight child abuse in our school systems. It is child abuse to change a child's gender, particularly if you do not inform the parents. In other words, if a five year old or a six year old goes to school or a seven year old goes to school. School and the teacher turns, tries to turn the boy into a girl or the girl into a boy, that is child abuse. And this administration is treating that as child abuse. And it is a gross violation of parental rights.
Pat Gray
Yep.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pat Gray
And we need to, we need to call it, we need to call it child abuse.
Jeff Fisher
Yes.
Pat Gray
Every time. That's, that's how the left wins arguments in this country. By, by controlling the language, by doing.
Jeff Fisher
That, I mean we are creating more of a. More hatred from the left is for sure.
Pat Gray
Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely.
Jeff Fisher
They're not going to like that at all.
Pat Gray
888. 727 Beck. More coming up.
Jeff Fisher
Ain't no snake oil here. Just truth, grit and good old fashioned common sense. This is Glenn. Becky.
Glenn Beck
When you hear the term living better, what do you think about more money, bigger house, maybe a yacht? Or do you think how you feel physically, how you wake up every day, how you sleep, what activities you can and can't do. When you feel good, life is good. It's easy for us to take our health for granted until we can't. I came to that reality when I started feeling pain every day at about 45. And I started to lose hope until I found Relief Factor. Relief Factor is a daily supplement that fights pain naturally developed by doctors. It doesn't just mask the pain temporarily. It helps reduce or even eliminate pain. In fact, the longer you take it, the more effective it is. Give their three week quick start a try. It's $19.95, less than a dollar a day. And it takes one phone call. 800 for relief. That's 800, the number four relief. Wherever you're hurting in three weeks or even days, Relief Factor can give you a chance to rediscover the true meaning of living better again. Reliefactor.com relieffactor.com 1-800-for relief.
Pat Gray
Pat and Jeffy for Glenn and Stu today. Triple 872 7, Becky. Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff and just outspoken person in this administration that doesn't take any garbage from anybody. I love it.
Jeff Fisher
He's been so great and so perfect. And, you know, I was reading because. Rest in peace to David Horowitz, who just passed away.
Pat Gray
86.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. Earlier this week. But I was reading about how. How he mentored Stephen Miller.
Pat Gray
Yeah, I didn't know that.
Jeff Fisher
I did not know that either. And it talked about how they. Stephen Miller used. He lived in California, Born in California, raised in California. And how he used to call in and listen. Well, he listened to Rush, and he talked about conservative radio, and he used to call into Larry Elder's show and complain about his high school not being able to say the pledge. And he used to just go on these rants. Elder show. And they all knew about him.
Pat Gray
And is that when. That's when Horowitz heard him.
Jeff Fisher
And then Miller reached out to Horowitz to speak at his high school. And he was. And Horowitz was like, well, yeah, I'll. I'll speak at your high school. And then after that, they were. They, you know, he mentored him after that.
Pat Gray
That is great.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, that's awesome.
Pat Gray
That's really fun. Yeah, that's a great story. And he's gonna be greatly missed. Missed. Absolutely missed.
Jeff Fisher
Absolutely.
Pat Gray
Do we. Do we have that clip of Horowitz with the one who shuts down the. The Hamas supporter in, I don't know, some college a couple years ago? We don't have that. All right. Because he was so good just putting around him.
Jeff Fisher
He finally talked her into actually saying, yep, I want you dead.
Pat Gray
Basically, that's what happened.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, that's what I want. Yeah.
Pat Gray
And so she definitely supported that. So he got it out of her, which was incredible. Yes, incredible. She was very reluctant, but it's one of those things where, you know, the radicals show up at these college appearances and they think they're gonna stump the speaker that has come to talk to them. She really thought she was gonna put Horowitz in his place.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. It didn't work out for her, obviously. Didn't read the flyer for the seat out. And we're gonna. I'm gonna set you straight here for a little bit. Okay.
Pat Gray
Amazing.
Jeff Fisher
It sure is.
Pat Gray
All right, so we will get to another Stephen Miller rant as he essentially, he Roasted the media on their coverage of immigration and what's going on right now. So we will get to that and. And much more coming up.
Jeff Fisher
This is Glenn. Becky, in the words of Alana Mar to Amber Ruffin, I'd like to say F you. Okay.
Pat Gray
Or off or off.
Jeff Fisher
Or whatever.
Pat Gray
Whatever.
Jeff Fisher
Whatever it is.
Pat Gray
Whatever it was Alon said same. Same to her because.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, Come on now.
Pat Gray
Agonizing terrible. She feels less safe in her home.
Jeff Fisher
Less safe at home.
Pat Gray
Okay, shut up.
Jeff Fisher
I know we had Cheryl Crow doing the same thing. Cheryl Crow. I don't feel safe in Tennessee. Everyone's on Sheryl Crowe. You have the means to live anywhere in the United States. Anywhere in the world. You don't even have to live here in the United States.
Pat Gray
Leave.
Jeff Fisher
Shut up.
Pat Gray
Leave. Go somewhere else.
Jeff Fisher
I can't.
Pat Gray
It's agonizing.
Jeff Fisher
Seriously, it is agonizing.
Pat Gray
Oh, these liberals and their garbage.
Jeff Fisher
Cheryl sold her her Tesla because of President Musk and donated the money, I think, to npr. You know, she can do what she wants with her money. That's fine. But that means she can also shut up about where she lives because she can move and live anywhere she wants.
Pat Gray
Yeah, she could go somewhere else. Right?
Jeff Fisher
You don't feel safe there. Go somewhere else, brother.
Pat Gray
All right.
Jeff Fisher
Terrible.
Pat Gray
Much more coming up. And it'll continue on the radio show in just seconds. Down the road where shadows hide Feel the dark on every side Stand your ground when times get dark Gotta face.
Jeff Fisher
The dog and embrace the fire the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck program.
Pat Gray
With Pat and stuff. Patton. Jeffy for Glenn and Stu.
Jeff Fisher
That's what I meant.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Almost. Almost called you Stu, which, you know, would have been quite a compliment, but.
Jeff Fisher
No, it would not have.
Pat Gray
It is Pat and Jeffy for Glenn and Stu. I think Stu's back Monday, right?
Jeff Fisher
I don't keep track of you don't keep track. I don't want to keep track of Stu.
Pat Gray
Okay, whatever. Whatever. All right, we'll. We'll get into the Stephen Miller stuff. What he had to say to the media on immigration coming up in one minute. All right, so Stephen Miller, who is the deputy chief of staff for President Trump, taking on media and reporters pretty much every day. He laid into the media yesterday on the way they've been covering the Trump administration's attempts to get immigration under control.
Stephen Miller
It is a sad reflection on the state of our media and many of the outlets represented in this room that you obsessively try to shill for this. Ms. Thirteen terrorists. Well, no coverage occurred in your papers about any of the Americans that were raped and tortured and murdered by the illegals that Biden was importing into our country. You know, you talk about due process. The Biden administration made the decision to give extensive due process to two train Nicaragua terrorists that were apprehended at the border just a couple years ago. There were two gentlemen, they were from Venezuela. They were members of train. The Biden administration Border patrol apprehended them and made the decision to provide them with extensive due process, put them onto a program known as supervised release and put them on ankle monitors so they could go through a lengthy legal judicial determination as to whether these legal aliens who had just set foot on US Soil might want to live in the United States for the rest of their lives. What was the result of that decision? What was the result of that choice that was made? Those two men kidnapped a young girl named Jocelyn Nungaree from her family. They beat her, they sexually assaulted her.
Pat Gray
Her.
Stephen Miller
They tortured her, they stripped her, they murdered her, and they dumped her body.
Jeff Fisher
Wow.
Stephen Miller
That is what the Biden administration's policy was. Most of your papers never covered her story. When it happened, to the extent that you covered it at all, it was because President Trump forced you to cover it by highlighting it repeatedly over and over again. He had to shame you into covering it and Each and every one of you decided over and over again with these Ms. 13 terrorists to the extent that you have the financial means to do so. You all choose to live in condos or homes or houses as far away from these kinds of gang bangers as you possibly can. If I offer any one of you a rent free home with no taxes to pay in any of these gang neighborhoods, and I said your neighbors are Ms. 13 terrorists or Mexican mafia or Sinaloa cartel or train, I couldn't pay you to live there. But yet you, with your coverage are trying to force innocent Americans to have these people as their neighbors and that one day their daughter may be abducted from their home and raped and murdered. So you're not going to get an ounce of sympathy from this administration or President Trump for the terrorists who've invaded our homes in our country.
Jeff Fisher
Something else to say, Carolyn. I'll give it back to you now.
Pat Gray
Now, who wants to complain?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, anybody.
Pat Gray
So, so great is awesome. But what they keep coming back to is Maryland man, you know, the St. Maryland man did.
Jeff Fisher
Maryland man. Yeah.
Pat Gray
He'd never done anything wrong and all. The only thing he did wrong, I guess was getting a tattoo. It's the only thing he did wrong. And that's why he's in prison in El Salvador right now.
Jeff Fisher
Right, Right. It's just a, it's a hard working man. Hard working. Union member.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Working for his family.
Pat Gray
Right. Yeah. Who was pulled over a while ago. This was in 2022. He's pulled over in Tennessee with a whole carload of people in the van with him. And it's kind of interesting.
Jeff Fisher
The whole thing was fascinating.
Pat Gray
A Maryland man, Abrego Garcia, and he. So He's a suspected Ms. 13 member. And he did, he did not have, you know, I think we've, we cleared this part up. He didn't have the M and S and the one and the three on his knuckles, but what he had were, was the, the marijuana plant, the smiley face. So, yeah, so the, the marijuana apparently stood for the M. Right. The smiley face for the S, the cross was the one and the skull was the three. I don't know why, but that's what they say it is. So anyway, whether, whether or not not that's the case, he's had some fairly weird encounters with, with law enforcement. And this was one of them. Back In Tennessee in 2022, he gets pulled over by highway patrol. Here's what happened.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. Your driver's license. He's behind the wheel.
Pat Gray
Listen to this. Okay. Your driver's License. He's looking for it. Oh, my God. Okay, sure. The problem with my license. Yeah. Right now. It's a spirit, right? It's suspended. Pause it for a sec. Okay, so there's thing number one. He's driving on a suspended license. Oh, okay. Well, that's fine.
Jeff Fisher
Did he even have it with worry about it? Because I. I feel like.
Pat Gray
Apparently not.
Jeff Fisher
I feel like that if, you know, you don't have something. Something.
Pat Gray
Yeah. You're looking around for it.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, what did I do?
Pat Gray
Oh, that's right. You know what? I'm suspended. That's why I don't have it right now. Really? Did you forget that?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, I did.
Pat Gray
Okay, so, okay, so that's thing one suspended license. My permanent employment. So like two years experience. So I need. So right now I. I'm sorry. Waiting the paper for immigration for. I go to the mba. So, you know, positive again. Okay, now he's just told us he's illegally here. He's got to go to immigration and work that out.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, I thought he said NBA. I thought he was going to play for the National Basketball association, but I guess that's.
Pat Gray
No, no, he's not going to the NBA.
Jeff Fisher
Sorry.
Pat Gray
So, yeah. So suspended license and I'm here illegally. Okay, we know that so far. How about your insurance? Where's that? My.
Jeff Fisher
Sorry.
Pat Gray
To my.
Jeff Fisher
My boss.
Pat Gray
No, he doesn't have insurance either. No proof of insurance. Okay. All right.
Jeff Fisher
So where do y'all live at?
Pat Gray
I.
Jeff Fisher
Where I live in. I live in Maryland.
Pat Gray
Maryland. Maryland. Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Who. Whose vehicle is it? Whose car is it?
Pat Gray
It's to my boss. Okay, pause it. So, okay, we're. We're working on a suspended license. He's here illegally. He has no proof of insurance, and it's not his car.
Jeff Fisher
Well, his bosses.
Pat Gray
That's his bosses.
Jeff Fisher
His bosses.
Pat Gray
How do I know that? I don't said so. Well, he said so, so now I do. Yeah, I know it must be true. He said it. This is incredible.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, unbelievable.
Pat Gray
Nothing else has to happen. If this is me, I'm already in jail.
Jeff Fisher
I'm already possibly still there.
Pat Gray
Yeah, right, exactly. From 2022. I'm still there in 2025. I mean, this is incredible. Suspended license. I'm an illegal alien. I have no proof of insurance. And this isn't my car. I'm driving with eight people in it with me.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, we even got to that. And I will say we're about to get to that. Yeah. When you look, pay good attention to the lady sitting in the. In the riders. The passenger seat yes.
Pat Gray
Yeah. She looks and looks forward the whole.
Jeff Fisher
She's been told, make yourself disappear.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
And she's doing everything in her power to be invisible.
Pat Gray
Does not speak. Does not look at the police officer. Doesn't look at the driver. Looks straight ahead. Head the whole time. All right, let him go here.
Jeff Fisher
Where's he live? Where's your boss live? My. My.
Pat Gray
My boss right now, he stay in Maryland, but he.
Jeff Fisher
He live in.
Pat Gray
He's in Maryland. Okay. Houston, Texas. Have you got the price of insurance? Yeah, I don't know where to put it. No, he doesn't have that either. Oh, golly.
Jeff Fisher
I don't know where it is.
Pat Gray
Love it. So great.
Jeff Fisher
That could be in this book here.
Pat Gray
No, no, it's not in this book. Darn it. Oh, boy. You know, I know I. I got it on me somewhere here.
Tulsi Gabbard
Where are you guys coming from right now?
Jeff Fisher
Where are you coming from?
Pat Gray
From San Luis, where I work in San Louis. Is that what he said.
Jeff Fisher
To the house? Next.
Pat Gray
Next week? I'm gonna make it tonight. The other project. I thought you. I thought you was going to Missouri. The next project. I told you the next project next week is. I'm going. Everybody going to Nashville. The next project, you know?
Glenn Beck
Okay.
Pat Gray
Yeah. All right. What do y'all do?
Jeff Fisher
Okay, what kind of work is it?
Pat Gray
Is construction, remuneration.
Jeff Fisher
Driver like that? Everything like that?
Pat Gray
No. No.
Jeff Fisher
Okay. Can you find your insurance?
Pat Gray
No, can't find the insurance either.
Jeff Fisher
Take a look back here. All those people back here.
Pat Gray
Your insurance, can you find it? I called my boss because I don't know where. Where put it. He doesn't know where it is.
Jeff Fisher
I call my call stuff real quick. Okay? I'll be right back.
Pat Gray
This is amazing. Absolutely incredible. How dark are your windows?
Jeff Fisher
Huh?
Pat Gray
How dark's the back windows? Window? Yeah, the windows. How dark are the windows? They're a little too tinted, my friend.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, it's my friend's car.
Pat Gray
How many.
Jeff Fisher
How many many rolls have you got in here? Four. Where.
Pat Gray
Four seats. Four rows of seats? Yeah, three.
Jeff Fisher
Three seats.
Pat Gray
Four rows of seats. Eight people in the van. Did y'all put an extra one in?
Jeff Fisher
Huh?
Pat Gray
Did y'all put another one in? No, no. Come like this.
Jeff Fisher
Use the.
Pat Gray
The. The. The truck.
Jeff Fisher
I've never.
Pat Gray
I've never seen one with that many seats in it. The other one. Don't worry about that, mister.
Jeff Fisher
Don't worry about. About that.
Pat Gray
Oh, really?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Okay. Eventually.
Glenn Beck
Wow.
Pat Gray
Eventually, the. The officer walks back to his car and another cop approaches him and he says, you know what you have here?
Jeff Fisher
Well, they called in the, they called in the, the, the drug sniffing dogs and the, the drug, you know, his fellow officers in the car. They did not. And that's the guy that said, yes.
Pat Gray
You know what you got here, right? You've got a, A guy who, who's, who's smuggling illegal aliens into the country. That's why there's eight people in the van.
Jeff Fisher
Right. And sometimes they do both. But this, you usually don't get a drug hit on these people.
Pat Gray
Right? I mean, so one of the cops knows exactly what's happening.
Jeff Fisher
100 knows.
Pat Gray
So you've got a suspended license, you're an illegal alien, you've got no insurance, it's not your car, and you've got eight people in the vehicle with an extra row of seats that was placed your own car. You can't. Yeah, okay. All right.
Jeff Fisher
So good news is. Wow.
Pat Gray
Good news is, Pat, what's the good news?
Jeff Fisher
They let him go.
Pat Gray
Yeah. That is the good news. Yeah. They called the FBI, said, hey, we got this guy. And they explained the whole thing to him and they said, yeah, let him go. And they did.
Jeff Fisher
They did.
Pat Gray
And they.
Jeff Fisher
And they did. So incredible.
Pat Gray
Absolutely.
Jeff Fisher
Any American about. In about an hour and a half to two hours, about an hour and a half or two hours, all of that took place and we let him go.
Pat Gray
Any US citizen would be in jail to this day. Any citizen. Yeah. But for some reason, how does that. During Biden, let him go? I don't, I don't.
Jeff Fisher
Honestly, I don't.
Pat Gray
I really don't either.
Jeff Fisher
How that visible?
Pat Gray
It's inconceivable.
Jeff Fisher
I don't, I don't blame the officers, I don't think. But.
Pat Gray
Well, no, they tried to do the right thing. They tried to do it. They called the FBI.
Jeff Fisher
Okay. But they couldn't arrest them locally, Ida.
Pat Gray
I don't know.
Jeff Fisher
Take them to the Tennessee County Jail there.
Pat Gray
Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, you would think they could. They would do us. They'd take us to jail.
Jeff Fisher
If the FBI, you know, once they did that, then the FBI would say, let them go anyway, so what's the point in doing all that?
Pat Gray
And that's probably what they fixed figure, right? All right. Triple 8, 7, 2 7, Beck. More coming up in one minute. You don't carry a fire extinguisher because you plan on starting a fire. You carry it because if something ever sparks, you want to be ready. That's exactly how the burner compact launcher works. It's a non lethal self defense tool that gives you real stopping power without the legal baggage or deadly consequences of a firearm. It's small enough to carry, discreet, and it's light enough to go anywhere and powerful enough to stop a threat in its tracks. And here's the best part. You don't need a permit in most places. No background check, no waiting period. Just peace of mind in the palm of your hand. So whether you're walking to your car late at night, hiking with your family, traveling alone, or just answering a knock at the door, the Burner Compact gives you an edge when seconds count. It's the kind of tool you hope you'll never need, but the minute you do, you'll be glad you had it. The compact launcher is especially great for carrying in something like a purse, so you can try it before you buy it. Right now, visit byrna.com glenn to find a Burner dealer near you. That's B Y r n a berna.com.
Jeff Fisher
Glenn let's pause 10 seconds for station identification, shall we?
Pat Gray
And welcome. Great to have you with us. Triple eight, 727. Beck, an Oregon middle school teacher, was awarded a massive payout. It was something like $301,000, I think, after she won a lawsuit alleging that her students sexually harassed her. Susan Bartley, 46 year old teacher, sued the Portland Public Schools in 2023. She claimed she got abuse from from her students and it began in the fall of 2021, continued until the fall of 2024. The teacher's lawyers allegedly provided more than 250 pages of emails, letters, declarations and excerpts from depositions to show that she was involved. Fact harassed. The Oregonian reported that an 8th grade boy allegedly demanded a during a class that Barton or Bartley refer to him by his new pronouns, which were reportedly a sexually explicit term.
Jeff Fisher
That's not funny.
Pat Gray
That is not funny.
Jeff Fisher
Not laughing at that at all.
Pat Gray
Bartley allegedly confronted a student for using his cell phone during the class and the boy reportedly stuffed the phone down his pants and told her to come grab it. I mean, times have definitely changed. Can you imagine treating a teacher like this when we were in school? I don't.
Jeff Fisher
Would you even think about that for a second?
Pat Gray
Jeff Fisher Would you have even.
Jeff Fisher
I used to argue with teachers quite a bit. I know that's going to come as a surprise. There was a number of teachers that didn't necessarily like me.
Pat Gray
Yeah, but would you talk to him like this?
Jeff Fisher
Like that?
Pat Gray
Yeah, I wouldn't have. I mean, not even the douchiest of douchebags at my School.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. Would have tried something like completely different times, though.
Pat Gray
Completely.
Jeff Fisher
There's no way you're getting away with that. And these were. These were emails. And were they. Were they just emails or they were texts? I mean, I'm not familiar with this. Is the teacher hot? Is she what they thought she was? Yeah. Okay.
Pat Gray
The lawsuit allegedly alleged that a group of seventh grade boys surrounded her outside the Kellogg Middle School after class.
Jeff Fisher
Completely unacceptable. That can't be.
Pat Gray
And she said the boys recorded video of her buttocks with a cell phone and just said, you know, that she was sexy.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
And. And wouldn't let her pass.
Jeff Fisher
No way to make her. Make them stop. I mean, there had to be. She won the lawsuit, so she obviously tried. And they. They didn't.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Well, I bet some of the emails that you're talking about are probably her emails to the. To the school system, to the principal maybe complaining about this and they did nothing about it would be my guess. And that's why she won $300,000 in this thing.
Jeff Fisher
I mean, I'm surprised it didn't go along. You know, some of the families of these students.
Pat Gray
Right. Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
After some of that, I mean, 300 grandparents, school district. I think mom and dad need to fork over a couple of bucks, too.
Pat Gray
Definitely. Yes.
Jeff Fisher
But these kids were just fun.
Pat Gray
And she told the Oregonian, I continued to say, we need to address this head on. Children need to be taught boundaries.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
When there were no consequences for the boys, they started harassing not just me, but the girls in school even more. More. Wow.
Jeff Fisher
Because they got away with that. They felt empowered.
Pat Gray
Exactly. Right. Yeah. So I don't know if this is going on in a lot of school districts, but, you know, it's. It's certainly different than it used to be. That's for sure.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, that's for sure.
Pat Gray
I mean, somebody would have put the hammer down on anybody doing this.
Jeff Fisher
Well, yeah. Correct. And, you know, so that happens back in. Well, I mean, yours was obviously a lot longer than mine, but back in your day, you know, maybe the coach comes along and straightens a couple of the kids out and sets it straight.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
This is Glenn Beck.

Jeff Fisher
More Glenn Beck after the break.
Pat Gray
Pat and Jeffy for Glenn and Stu today. Triple eight seven two seven. Becky and Jeffy has the fat five big stories.
Jeff Fisher
All right, let's rock and roll. A horse racing's triple crown season begins tomorrow with the Kentucky Derby.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, baby. Now that guy Steve Buttleman has done that 29 other times. So if you see him out there tomorrow, number 31st. The 151st Kentucky Derby takes place tomorrow. Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. There's 23 year olds competing for the 1.25 mile race. The run for the rose is $5 million purse. Winning horse gets 3 million. Okay. I mean, you want to win that bad boy. 702 Eastern. When the race kicks off.
Pat Gray
The horse called Journalist is the favorite.
Jeff Fisher
Journalism.
Pat Gray
Right, Journalism.
Jeff Fisher
Journalism is one of the favorites. Journalism and Sandman man are the two favorites. Okay, then the longest shot is this Neil quiss. That is 57 to 1. And then there's another one 50 to 1. This bazi or Bazaar. B A E, Z A however they pronounce it. No problem. But he's 50 to 1. This has been going on since 1875. So it's the oldest continuously held sporting event and the first leg obviously of the triple Crown. I've not been. I've always wanted to go. I just never have been to the Kentucky Derby.
Pat Gray
I've only been to Pness. Never been to the Kentucky Derby. Yeah. Glenn and I, when we were a ju.
Jeff Fisher
Fan.
Pat Gray
No. Well, no, no. But I will tell you, we. We did our show from the infield of Preakness. That was a wild ride.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
I bet there were a couple of people that were slightly in inebriated at the race. At the race. Yeah, we were surprised. Like, whoa, no. People get drunk here.
Jeff Fisher
That's really weird in those days. I'm surprised Glenn wasn't.
Pat Gray
He actually didn't, you know, contrary to popular belief, did not drink while on the air. So.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Again, I'm surprised Glenn. Yeah, okay, sure. Whatever you say. So you've got that happening this weekend, plus thing that's happening tomorrow. I mean, I know spring is in the air and it's a celebration tomorrow, this weekend, but it's Naked Gardening Day, and you need to get out there and celebrate. Lawnstarter dug into the data to uncover the best cities in the United States for naked gardening. And they analyzed 500 biggest US cities using metrics like nudist populations, public nudity laws, Google search interests, and even the forecast for World Naked Gardening Gardening Day. So the top ten cities. Number ten, Philadelphia. Number nine, Portland, Oregon. Number eight, Macon, Georgia. Greenville, North Carolina. Seven. Lake Charles, Louisiana. Number six, Asheville, North Carolina. Number five, Atlanta, Georgia. Number four, Austin, Texas. Number three, Seattle, Washington. Number two. And the number one city where you can be sure we're going to see all kinds of pictures of naked gardening coming from their Instagram accounts. Miami, Florida.
Pat Gray
And what do they base that on? How many people show up for it?
Jeff Fisher
Or where it's warm enough to actually garden naked.
Pat Gray
Okay.
Jeff Fisher
Wave you out there, you wave it to your neighbors. You're Google Naked gardening and celebrating Naked Gardening Day.
Pat Gray
A lot of people celebrate that. Do they?
Jeff Fisher
Sure. Sure.
Pat Gray
All right.
Jeff Fisher
Just hashtag it Naked Gardening. And you sure it'll show up on your feet? Dallas is 49th. Fort Worth is like 234th. So there's probably not going to be a lot of naked gardening.
Pat Gray
Probably not.
Jeff Fisher
Neck of the woods, the mean streets of Helena, Montana.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Not even on the list.
Pat Gray
Oh, wow.
Jeff Fisher
Not even on the list. They do have Missoula on the list.
Pat Gray
Oh, really?
Jeff Fisher
Montana? Yeah. 276.
Pat Gray
Okay.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. And so Florida has 38 cities. Cities. Texas has 54 cities. And the number one state, California. Absolutely. Well over 100 cities on the list for naked gardening. So have fun celebrating. Weird.
Pat Gray
I've never heard of it. Have you ever heard of it before? I've never heard of Naked Gardening Day.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, well, I like to bring up this celebration, chewing the fat.
Pat Gray
That was a dumb question. Of course you've heard of it. You've talked about. You probably celebrated and participated.
Jeff Fisher
I. I don't necessarily always celebrate on the actual holiday. Sure. Naked gardening, sure. Who doesn't want to be out there pulling weeds naked?
Pat Gray
I don't know anybody who doesn't.
Jeff Fisher
That's what I'm saying. Of course you do. So have fun. Have fun.
Pat Gray
Can't wait. And it's tomorrow, right? Don't do it today.
Jeff Fisher
The celebration is today. Yeah, don't do it today. I mean, sure, go ahead if you want to go ahead, but it's not part of the celebration.
Pat Gray
Okay. All right.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, good. Rule of thumb here is wash them before you wear them. I know you like me, Pat like to shop at thrift stores. And a helpful tip, religiously helpful tip, is to wash your newly bought clothes before wearing them, especially if they're from a secondhand store. Now they're telling you to wash your clothes. Clothes, you know, even if they're brand new. For sure, but especially when they come from a thrift store, you need to wash them right away. And apparently this TikToker, one nevertwo one, preferred only to be referred to by a social media name, contracted a skin infection that he's blaming on the never washed thrift clothes. He explained in his video that he contracted molluscum contagion, a viral skin infection that consists of small raised bumps on the skin and he looks. Does not look fun. I don't know that I wish that on anyone. Now apparently there's no requirement. You just gotta keep it clean. There's no medicine that will take care of it. They just go away in like six months to two years.
Pat Gray
What?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
Six months to two years.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. Now they claim here that the skin disease is often spread through skin to skin or sexual contact. The tiktoker blames it on unwashed thrifted clothes. Okay, sure, whatever you say. The content. Let's see this. Francis Cozen, a Cornell University senior lecturer in fiber science and apparel design. That's a good gig right there. Garments often are treated with a fabric softener, a stain resistant or water repellent coat coating, or an anti mildew agent that can cause irritation, redness or itching. You can also catch a ringworm. So according to the Mayo Clinic, you don't. That itchy, scaly, contagious ringworm. You don't want that. You don't want that.
Pat Gray
No, I do not.
Jeff Fisher
That spreads through clothing, towels, bedding. Oh, you don't want that. So wash them before you wear them. Okay. Wash them before you wear them. Most importantly, coming from a thrift store, but even new stuff, you need to please wash them before you wear them. Subscribe to my daily show. Please. Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher. Available wherever you listen to your podcasts you can rate and review where possible. Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher. So Florida has a new bill out that could impact drinking water. And it's headed to Governor DeSantis desk for his signature. State lawmakers voted for a bill that would prohibit local governments from adding fluoride to the water. Supporters, of course, argue that the government should not decide whether fluoride is added to the water. And opponents measure say it's going to. If they take it away, people are going to get more cavities. And fluoridation has been one of the most effective and affordable public health measures in American history. This bill takes a safe and proven and affordable public health tool and rips it away. But they're hoping that this goes through. And according to some of the state representatives, it's not about fluoride. It's about your liberty. Okay, calm down. But fluoride is used in 29 counties in Florida and DeSantis. I don't know that he'll sign this bill because it's part of a bigger bill. He wants the counties to stop using fluoride. But as usual, the bill isn't just that. They've got it in this giant Florida farm bill, which has a whole bunch of other stuff in it. And so we'll see if he actually will sign this bill. Who knows? I love the one Florida representative who said one of the things that they talk about in this bill would be that it would prevent labeling plant based products as milk or meat. But only if a number of other southern states also pass such legislation and they're talking about mislabeling and it's just another bogged down government bill. That's what it sounds like to me. And people are all upset and saying that. I'm not confused whether it's almond milk or an impossible burger. I'm not confused when I'm buying a product. We don't need to have this kind of ruling over private companies. I tend to agree with that. So we'll see if Desantis, if he signs the bill, it goes into effect July 1st. Now, if they pass this, Florida becomes the second state after Utah to restrict Florida into their water. So as all the people, I think.
Pat Gray
You should be able to choose whether or not people.
Jeff Fisher
Toothless in Utah.
Pat Gray
No, you should be able to choose whether or not fluoride is in your water. That's.
Jeff Fisher
That's what I think.
Pat Gray
That's what I think. Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Do you have a different tap?
Pat Gray
No, you. I mean, I guess you vote on.
Jeff Fisher
It and for counties. County can vote on it. Yeah. Or statewide or whatever. You. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You could.
Pat Gray
I mean, you've got Fluoride in your toothpaste. If you want it, you got it there, right? Do you need it in your drinking water?
Jeff Fisher
Ripping it away from people? It's not on the water. There's no way for them to get fluoride.
Pat Gray
Okay. No other way.
Jeff Fisher
No other way.
Pat Gray
Okay. Wow. That's amazing.
Jeff Fisher
I know. People should be able to choose.
Pat Gray
Yeah, they should.
Jeff Fisher
Absolutely. Yeah. The movie Minecraft. I'm sorry, A Minecraft movie has been in theaters. What? This is the fifth week, I think four to five weeks now. Made north of 380 million domestically and north of 816 million globally. 2025's biggest hit to date. Yeah. So the chicken jockey scene isn't only a chicken centric moment from a Minecraft movie causing a sensation. Jack Black's musical ode to the impossible to prepare in real life dish lava chicken has made it into Billboard's Hot 100 chart at number 78. The song Steve's Lava Chicken has been featured in 280,000 plus TikTok videos streamed almost 22 million times on Spotify.
Glenn Beck
Wow.
Jeff Fisher
And according to Jason Momoa in the movie it sucks butt but it doesn't suck butt in real life. It's 34 seconds long which makes it the shortest song ever to make it onto Billboard's 67 year old Hot list. And it's not the first song from a video game or movie to chart. And it's not Jack Black's first silly song because his. His song Peaches sung by the lovesick Bowser in the Super Mario brothers reached number 58 a couple years ago of the Hot 100.
Pat Gray
Wow.
Jeff Fisher
So you're not the only people hearing. Hearing the song in your feeds. In your. In your TikTok feed.
Pat Gray
Have you seen that movie yet?
Jeff Fisher
I have not.
Pat Gray
No, I haven't either.
Jeff Fisher
I have not. I think my kids went. Yeah, I think they went. I don't know. I saw some Minecraft stuff in the house cuz they love Minecraft so Paraphernalia. Yeah. So if you will think they went. But.
Pat Gray
But you didn't hear if it was obnoxious.
Jeff Fisher
Maybe they did cuz I didn't hear about that. Yeah, I didn't hear if they were obnoxious cuz people were getting wound up.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
That everybody was getting. Throwing popcorn around and having fun. Heaven forbid these kids. Kids have fun in the theater path.
Pat Gray
You don't want that.
Jeff Fisher
You don't. You do not want that. You don't.
Pat Gray
Triple eight, 727 Beck. More coming up.
Jeff Fisher
This is Glenn Beck.

Welcome. It is Pat and Jeffy for Glenn and Stu today. Triple eight, seven two seven Beck.
Jeff Fisher
Okay, one last. One last fat five. Uh, so it'd be like five and a half.
Pat Gray
Half or even six. We might be up to a full six.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I've extra today. All right. A little fun fact you can use at parties this weekend. Tyler Shook. You know he was drafted this weekend, this past weekend. And not only is he going to be known for his beautiful wife Jordan that went viral from draft weekend. Oh yeah. She was a big hit online. A big hit. And I mean this is with him getting the call for the draft. And after that.
Pat Gray
Oh, okay, there she is right after that. Or is that his mom?
Jeff Fisher
No, that's, that's, that's wife.
Pat Gray
That's his wife.
Jeff Fisher
His wife Jordan. Okay, so not only does he have that going for him, he was born in September of 1999. All right, so he played college in Oregon, Texas Tech, Louisville, and he was the second round draft pick here this last draft going to the New Orleans Saints. He will be the last player drafted born in the 1990s.
Pat Gray
Oh, wow. Really?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. So.
Pat Gray
Well, I guess so, yeah. Because he's probably. You're what, 25 at least he's 25. Almost 26.
Jeff Fisher
25. Yeah.
Pat Gray
Gonna turn 26 this year.
Jeff Fisher
1999. He's the last one.
Pat Gray
Wow.
Jeff Fisher
I know, I know, huh?
Pat Gray
Yeah. Last player born in the 90s. Last player born in the last millennium.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
That's amazing.
Jeff Fisher
Right?
Pat Gray
Think about it.
Jeff Fisher
Think about it.
Pat Gray
To use a Jeff Fisher line.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you. So go ahead and use that this weekend at your parties. Go ahead.
Pat Gray
It's a good, it's a good fun fact.
Jeff Fisher
That's a fun fact.
Pat Gray
Yeah. That's a fun one to use. So I highly recommend it. Nothing wrong with that. All right, we've got Kamala Harris who is seemingly, I don't know if she's on the campaign trail again. She seems to be ramping things back up.
Jeff Fisher
She does. She's been making the, I mean, we been seeing her mug out there making her little speeches around here.
Pat Gray
She is talking about elephants.
Jeff Fisher
This is in fact, please allow me friends to digress for a moment. Okay, okay. Okay.
Pat Gray
It's kind of dark in here, but.
Jeff Fisher
I'm asking a show of hands, who saw that video from a couple of weeks ago, the one of the elephants at the San Diego Zoo?
Pat Gray
I saw it.
Jeff Fisher
I did. I did, too.
Pat Gray
Yeah, I saw it.
Jeff Fisher
Google it. An earthquake. I'll use YouTube and see what you've been thinking about these days.
Tulsi Gabbard
Well.
Pat Gray
She'S so fake and so phony. She's talking about the elephants that got into a circle, Right.
Jeff Fisher
To protect their children that they didn't.
Pat Gray
Have and they didn't have to protect children from the earthquake. There's no, nothing you can do. Elephants. Okay. If, if the earthquake is either going to swallow you or it's not there. You can't help them with the circle is Glenn B.
Jeff Fisher
That's what they do.
Pat Gray
Next week. There's another special surprise coming up on the View. O. I can't wait.
Jeff Fisher
It's going to be so tell you.
Pat Gray
Had fun coming up. But I will tell you this, for the last four years, I've, I've felt less welcome in my home.
Jeff Fisher
That's for sure.
Pat Gray
Anybody who had common sense felt less welcome in their home the last four years. Thank goodness we feel more comfortable in our home now because common sense is beginning to return to the United States of America. Thank you very much. Much. Some things are not returning to the United States of America. Apparently shipments are going to be down at the port of Los Angeles. They're saying we'll get into that coming up. And much, much more. Radio show continues in just a matter of seconds.
Jeff Fisher
Couple more. Down the road where shadows hide Feel the dark on every side Stand your ground when times get down. Gotta face the dog and embrace the fire. The fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program.
Pat Gray
Welcome to it. Thanks for joining US. Wow. Port of Los Angeles officials are saying that things are going to change a little bit this coming week. Okay, so shipments from China are going to be affected. According to the Port of Los Angeles, beginning this coming week, the shipments from China are expected to plummet by 35%.
Jeff Fisher
Oh, I have a story in front of me that says 65%.
Pat Gray
Oh wow, 65.
Jeff Fisher
Okay, I'm happy to see 35%.
Pat Gray
So this is from the port. What is yours from who's, who's saying it?
Jeff Fisher
I actually don't know that. I copied and pasted this story and it said that the cargo shipments from China to the U.S. oh wait, the shipments plummeted 65% in three weeks after the tariffs took effect in April. So that's on top of your 35%.
Pat Gray
So they're saying they're already down, They've already plumbed in. Yeah, and we haven't noticed much from that, have we?
Jeff Fisher
I mean, I haven't really.
Pat Gray
Maybe I don't go to Walmart enough. I don't know.
Jeff Fisher
They claim on this that they've called off about 80 trips from China to the US this month. So that's more than 60% percent cancellations during peak. I mean, that's 60% more cancellations than during the peak of COVID Wow.
Pat Gray
So really, then. Then during COVID And Covid. That was. That was serious.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
There were some empty shelves during COVID You know, that was a weird time.
Jeff Fisher
It was. It was. They expect one third fewer arrivals next week compared to the same time last year. Year.
Pat Gray
Port of LA, it almost sounds like about 35%.
Jeff Fisher
It does. It sure does. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. But that's on top of the 65% already.
Pat Gray
Wow.
Jeff Fisher
Geez.
Pat Gray
That's not good.
Jeff Fisher
No, no, it's not.
Pat Gray
It can't be good. Right. According to our own Port Optimizer, this particular official says, which measures the loadings in a. Asia will be down just a little bit over 35 next week compared to last year. And it's a precipitous drop in volume with a number of American, major American retailers stopping all shipments from China based on the tariffs. So that sounds like it's not China deciding they're going to send fewer products. That sounds like it's our company saying, yeah, don't ship it here because we don't want the tariff slapped on it.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. And that'd be. That's what Walmart, Target, Home Depot. Depot, yes, yeah, yeah. Saying, don't send it.
Pat Gray
Shipments from China make up about 45% of all business for the Port of Los Angeles, though some transport companies will be looking to pick up goods at other points in Southeast Asia to try to fill up their ships. Realistically speaking, until some accord or framework can be reached with China, the volume coming out of there, with the exception of a few different commodities, will be very likely light at best, according to this particular official, along with the lower volume of goods. He said he expects roughly a quarter of the usual number arriving ships to the port to be canceled in May.
Jeff Fisher
Wow. Yeah.
Pat Gray
Wow.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. They're already canceling. I heard one pundit talk about this, that they were willing to have this happen. And, you know, if my daughter has to get one doll instead of $8 for Christmas, so be it.
Pat Gray
And it's worth it.
Jeff Fisher
It's worth it. Now, I will say this. This doesn't sound like there's going to be one doll.
Pat Gray
Right? Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Because now if. If you go to the store now and you. I don't know what product would be missing, but if the shelf is empty, you're gonna. You're people are gonna start. And I say you people are gonna start driving around looking for that product and buying more than one. So now you get into hoarding for sure. I mean, it's a domino effect.
Pat Gray
Yeah, it is. Yes, it is. Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
That's. I don't know. What's the word I'm looking for? Not good.
Pat Gray
So that. But that's the technical term, right?
Jeff Fisher
It is the technical term.
Pat Gray
You might want to dumb that down for the rest of us. I'll say this, though. There's, you know, hopefully American businesses can pick up the slack here.
Jeff Fisher
There you go.
Pat Gray
Maybe we can kick that into gear. Which would be nice.
Jeff Fisher
That would be very nice. Nice.
Pat Gray
There is a problem, though. You know, I. I have a small business, the cookie company, and we get a lot of boxes because we have to put our cookies into a box. Yes. And they go in a box, and then you send the box to people at various places all over the country. Okay. But the boxes, we wanted to do an American company. We wanted Americans to make the. The boxes that we ship our American product in. And so we tried and in fact, we went with a couple of American companies. And yes, it cost more, but we.
Jeff Fisher
Were willing to usa. We're doing it.
Pat Gray
Pay a little bit more to be, you know, to be all American.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
Even the boxes that. That we ship them in, and they weren't interested in our business because we're such a small company. Didn't mean anything to them. And so they screwed up our boxes and we called them and told them about it, and they're like, yeah, well, that's what you got. We can't really fix it now. It's not worth it to us. We're like, wait, what? Wow, really? So you're not. You don't stand behind your product now? We do it, but not. Not for little people like you. We don't.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
And so we went to another American company and had a similar experience with them. Wow. We finally had to just order it from China. Didn't want to.
Jeff Fisher
But you got to be able to get the product. The product what you want.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
And you've got to have enough of the product to serve your customers.
Pat Gray
Right? Yes.
Jeff Fisher
Even if it isn't 8 billion a month.
Pat Gray
Right. Yeah. Even though, you know, we're not. We're not a company with 1500 locations like some other cookie companies. And I'm sure that we're happy to box up those cookies, but, you know, we do a fairly decent amount.
Jeff Fisher
We've been striving to become that.
Pat Gray
And we are, you know. Yes.
Jeff Fisher
I mean.
Pat Gray
Right. And it makes it hard when a company's telling you, yeah, no, whatever. It's not worth it.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
It's not worth it to us to fix your Problem?
Jeff Fisher
What kind of customer service problem is you.
Pat Gray
Yeah, right. So I was. I was really disappointed. That was kind of a bummer.
Jeff Fisher
That is disappointing.
Pat Gray
Yeah. So, you know, there are just various reasons why people turn to China for manufacturing because in some cases they don't.
Jeff Fisher
Want your business satisfying the customer.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Right.
Jeff Fisher
Wow.
Pat Gray
Right. It's kind of weird. It really surprised me and disappointed me. Also coming out of Los Angeles is that there are 50, 000 county workers in Los Angeles that were on strike for a couple days this week. And here's what happened because of it. It closed libraries and disrupted some administration of operations in the county. How do you function if your county library closes?
Jeff Fisher
I don't know.
Pat Gray
Can you even imagine a catastrophe like that?
Jeff Fisher
I cannot.
Pat Gray
I don't know what I would do with my life if our county library closed. What would I. I don't even know where to go. I don't know who to turn to. Who do you complain about it too? I don't know know. I don't even know what to do.
Jeff Fisher
I went out to complain to my lifeguard and he was off on a mental health day. I didn't know what happened.
Pat Gray
This is the kind of stuff that's going on in la.
Jeff Fisher
Unforeseen circumstances.
Pat Gray
This is all in Los Angeles. The port is having fewer deliveries. The county has closed their library and the lifeguards are taking mental health days because of the dolphins on the beach.
Jeff Fisher
And they're whining that nobody's making movies or TV shows there anymore.
Pat Gray
They sure are.
Jeff Fisher
They're. They're passing new permitting processes, trying to get productions back into California.
Pat Gray
Are they lowering the price?
Jeff Fisher
I think the state is trying to make a deal so that they have.
Pat Gray
Been like a tax deal.
Jeff Fisher
But Los Angeles City Council approved a measure to make the film permitting process less of a headache. Slashing fees, location discounts, red tape cutting.
Pat Gray
Isn't that interesting? That is that they're doing that. And they're doing that because everybody's going to the alternative.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
That's what happens when you're too expensive and you don't care. People go elsewhere. So they come to Texas and film their movie here or they go to Utah and film their movie there or Georgia. And so that's what's been happening. Canada too, right?
Jeff Fisher
Popular spot. Yes.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Because they're. They. They will offer you tax incentives and they won't charge you as much. So where are you going to go do your show?
Jeff Fisher
There.
Pat Gray
There. Where you can make more money. Right. I mean, it just. It only makes sense so they're starting to see the light in Southern California, are they? Just a bit.
Jeff Fisher
We'll see.
Pat Gray
But if they, if they film the movie there, let's say they bring the movie industry back there. What's going to happen when the actors find out the county libraries are closed? It's all over.
Jeff Fisher
It's all over.
Pat Gray
At that point they're going back to Canada.
Jeff Fisher
Going. They won't know what to do. They won't. I mean I'm, I'm just a flux right now, not knowing what to do for them.
Pat Gray
I can barely finish the show just knowing that the county libraries in LA are closed right now.
Jeff Fisher
I was trying to think the last time I was actually at a library.
Pat Gray
Yeah, that's what I was trying to think of the other day too.
Jeff Fisher
I remember now. And I bet you it's the same with you. Because we. Maybe not, but because we live in a fairly similar area. But voting. I had to vote at the library.
Pat Gray
Yes, yes. I, I didn't actually vote there because ours is in a school or we go to the, the city building.
Jeff Fisher
But the library's right there.
Pat Gray
But the library's right there. Yes, it is.
Jeff Fisher
Where I voted last was at the actual library.
Pat Gray
The only thing I've been to the library in the last 15 years for was an HOA meeting that they held at the library. Library one time. Like, oh, so this is what the library looks like.
Jeff Fisher
You didn't hang out, you know, peruse some of the books or anything?
Pat Gray
No, I didn't, surprisingly. Oh, well, yeah. What are you gonna do?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
And now it's closed in Los Angeles. All right, more coming up. Triple eight, seven, two, seven. Beck. More in one minute. You know, a lot of people living with everyday pain just assume it's their new normal. It just is what it is. But that doesn't have to be the case. Let me introduce you to Jenny from Texas. She was out for a walk when she got hit by a car. And afterwards she couldn't shake the pain in her lower back. She tried everything, but nothing worked. Until her husband heard about Relief Factor. Jenny figured it was worth a try and thank goodness she did. Her pain began to ease, her range of motion improved, and that dark cloud out of constant discomfort finally began to lift. Makes a huge difference today. Jenny's not just grateful, she's amazed at what Relief Factor has done for her. So if you're living with aches and pains, see how Relief Factor, a daily drug free supplement, could help you feel and live better every day. Give their three week quick start a try. It's just 1995. In a few weeks or even days, you'll feel the difference. With Relief Actor, you don't have to be stuck living with pain. Visit relieffactor.com or you can call 800 for relief. That's 800, the number four relief.
Jeff Fisher
Ten seconds. Station identification.
Pat Gray
All right, we got to play this person who I'd never heard of until this week. I had never heard of. Is it Amber Ruffin? Amber Ruffin, Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, Amber Ruffin.
Pat Gray
I didn't. I'd never heard of her until she was cancelled as the White House press party Party. Comedian, comedian, host. Yeah. So it's the big dinner. They have to. To mock politicians and laugh at themselves and. Oh, it's just a wonderful gathering where everybody just gets along for a night. Is it beautiful? It really is a great event.
Jeff Fisher
They don't necessarily get along.
Pat Gray
Anyway, she said something about the Trump administration being filled with murderers. So they said, you know what? No, we don't need you. We don't need you. And so they got somebody else. And so Amber Ruffin showed up on the coven with the witch's brew. That is the few. And here's what she had to say to the witches at the coven. People are saying that Trump did a bad job.
Jeff Fisher
100 days in. I strongly disagree.
Tulsi Gabbard
This man has done everything he has set out to do.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
I'm black. I'm terrified.
Tulsi Gabbard
I'm scared for my trans friends and people who we know and love, our neighbors are disappeared.
Jeff Fisher
And that was the goal.
Pat Gray
And he did it.
Tulsi Gabbard
He did it.
Pat Gray
He did. Exactly positive for a second. Because people are being disappeared. Shut up. What is. What is that? Or who are you even talking about? Are the Maryland man. Is that what that's about?
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
They're not just disappeared. They're here illegally and they're being deported to where they came from. Oh, this is agonizing.
Jeff Fisher
Just disappearing people.
Pat Gray
Yeah, right. All right, letter, finish it.
Jeff Fisher
Feel.
Pat Gray
Less welcome, less in my home than I did, you know, last year.
Tulsi Gabbard
And that's the goal.
Pat Gray
That was the goaling in us is the point. That's the point. That's the goal.
Jeff Fisher
That's the point. That's the goal. She's terrible.
Pat Gray
Agonizing.
Jeff Fisher
He's terrible. The coven. Yeah.
Pat Gray
You set them off all Aaron. Did she? Oh, what about how we felt the last four years of this, of the nightmare that was the Joe Biden administration where you couldn't even define what a woman is? Do you think we felt welcome in our country? Those of us with common Sense. She's. And people are not being disappeared.
Jeff Fisher
Disappeared.
Pat Gray
This is just ridiculous rhetoric. Rhetoric. And if it was coming from Republicans about a Democrat, oh, my gosh, you would just be berated on every newscast and every website. It would be unbearable, and you'd be canceled. You just. You probably wouldn't even have a job. It's ridiculous.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. There are plenty of people being disappeared during the Joe Biden administration. As far as saying the wrong thing.
Pat Gray
Oh, my God. Gosh. Oh, yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Can't listen to them anymore. I said the wrong thing.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
I mean, it's just incredible.
Pat Gray
Also, members of the DOGE team sat down and they discussed the shocking things that they've been uncovering. This is a great little discussion.
Jeff Fisher
It is a great discussion that lets.
Pat Gray
You write in on the innards of what's happening with Doge and this gathering.
Jeff Fisher
And this was Jesse Waters. Right. I mean, Jesse was doing the interview.
Pat Gray
Waters was there. And here's. Here's what they were talking about.
Jeff Fisher
About.
Pat Gray
In. In fact, the payments to the Taliban in Afghanistan came up.
Jeff Fisher
Wow.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Elon Musk
And so it was the by far the least peaceful agency that we've worked with, ironically, of course. Additionally, we found that they were spending money on things like private jets, and they even had a $130,000 contract with a former member of the Taliban. This is real. We don't encounter that at most agencies.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
What was the money going to the Taliban for?
Elon Musk
So it was a contractor. They received $130,000 for generic services. And to Elon's point, there was not actually a clear description of what the contractor should.
Jeff Fisher
That is, was it for opium?
Elon Musk
Unclear.
Pat Gray
Good questions. Good question.
Jeff Fisher
Or nothing.
Pat Gray
Or nothing. Or abroad. Or.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, nothing.
Elon Musk
And you naturally have to ask the question, well, how did we get here? Like, when the country was founded, There were only four agencies. Today, the. There are over 400. So there's been a 100x increase in the number of agencies since the founding of the nation. And thanks to President Trump, he's now signed two executive orders to start to reduce the number of agencies in the government. And the Institute of Peace was one of them, which is why our team went in to try and understand what was going on. And that's when we found all of the craziness. Like the weapons in their armory. We found the payments to the Taliban.
Jeff Fisher
Wow. Oh, yeah. Evidence.
Pat Gray
Right.
Elon Musk
So just a few hours after we got into their headquarters, we found that their chief accountant had actually deleted over a terabyte of accounting records from several years. So you'd have to ask the Question. Well, why would somebody do that? The DOGE team, fortunately was able to recover that data with the help of a few great employees at.
Jeff Fisher
That was fortunate because I think the.
Elon Musk
Most troubling thing was they received $55 million a year from Congress. And any money that went unspent, instead of returning that to Congress, they would sweep it into a private bank account which had no congressional oversight. And that's what they would use to fund things like events at their headquarters and the private jets. And so I think it's a great example because most, most Americans don't know what's going on at a lot of these smaller agencies. And this is, I think, the most extreme case of some of the wasteful spend that we're finding.
Pat Gray
Unreal. So the agencies are hiding money from you, Right? They're sending it to the Taliban. Yes. They have loaded weapons in the department buildings. Okay.
Elon Musk
@ the Institute of Peace.
Pat Gray
At the Institute of Peace, that's right. And that was a cover up when.
Jeff Fisher
You guys roll in this one. Yes, a cover up. They did delete a vast amount of financial information. That's really a definition of a cover up.
Pat Gray
Isn't that illegal to delete evidence? Yes, yes, yes.
Elon Musk
It's certainly illegal to delete accounting records that they, that Congress would certainly want to know where the congressionally appropriated funds are going from. From taxpayers.
Pat Gray
All right. I mean, that's incredible style that. And the left, the left continues to be pissed off. That they're even doing this.
Jeff Fisher
Yes.
Pat Gray
That they're even looking into it. That they're trying to recover information on where this money has gone. They don't want them doing that.
Jeff Fisher
Nope.
Pat Gray
That's interesting, isn't it?
Jeff Fisher
That Doge team is.
Pat Gray
Oh, they're incredible. They're doing incredible work.
Jeff Fisher
Elon's got now though, right?
Pat Gray
Ye. I think yesterday or the day before, on their own.
Jeff Fisher
Who knows what they're going to do now.
Pat Gray
Who knows? But the amazing thing is the headline on all of that will be Do Shuts down the Institute of Peace. They don't want peace. Why doesn't Elon Musk want peace? That's what they'll do. That's exactly what they'll hide behind.
Jeff Fisher
This is Glenn Beck.
Glenn Beck
Did you know that just like here in the us Israel celebrates their Independence Day. In case you missed it this year, Israel's Independence Day was just a few days ago on May 1. But for the people of Israel, freedom is really nothing more than a daily struggle just to survive. There's no real peace, only terror. It's difficult to find moments of joy while there's so much suffering. And the Israeli government relies on the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews for its ongoing help to make sure the elderly, the sick, the wounded, soldiers and impoverished families don't fall through the cracks. We can't even imagine the courage of the Israeli people. They're so brave and worthy of our prayers that we'd like to ask you for a gift to the fellowship today. It'll provide life saving aid, medicine, hearty meals, safety and comfort. And I believe when we bless God's people of Israel, we unlock God's blessing in our own lives as well. So show your support for Israel by making a life saving gift today. Call and make your gift at 888-488 IFCJ. That's 888-488-IFC25 or go online to supportifcj.org one word supportifcj.org Glenn Back.
Jeff Fisher
Ms. The show. Listen anytime, anywhere podcasts are found.
Pat Gray
Stick around more after the break. Pat Gray, Jeff Fisher for Glenn, who is in Italy. Be back sometime next week. Triple eight seven two seven, BECK oh, wow. This is it just goes to show the callousness of this administration. First of all, people don't feel safe in their homes anymore. Right.
Jeff Fisher
Because we learned that from Amber Ruffin.
Pat Gray
Learned that from her just a few minutes ago. Now, President Trump signed an executive order late last night terminating federal funding for National Public Radio and the Public Broadcasting Service, otherwise known as pbs.
Jeff Fisher
This is pbs.
Pat Gray
Love it. I love that. This, this is like a century in the making and nobody had the giblets to do it until Donald Trump. I mean, other people have talked about it. You know, they're pretty biased. Maybe we should do something about the federal funding. And nobody ever does. Nobody's ever addressed it until now. So.
Jeff Fisher
Great. So they can make it on their own.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Well, the federal money and that, that'd be fine. If you can, if you can continue your biased journalism through, through private funding, go ahead. I don't, I don't think I should be. And you should be expected to pay for it.
Jeff Fisher
No.
Pat Gray
NPR and pbs, which have long been targeted for cuts by conservatives, both received partial funding through the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which the president argued is unnecessary, necessary in the current media environment. And he's exactly right about that. There is no reason we should be funding it. And if you love it, support it.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah, go ahead.
Pat Gray
Give them your own money.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
If you believe in it so much.
Jeff Fisher
And some have, you know, I mean, we talk, we touched on, I don't know if we talked about it on or off the air, but Cheryl Crow was whining about living in Tennessee and how she doesn't feel safe at her home in Tennessee.
Pat Gray
Oh, yeah, she's another one who doesn't feel safe.
Jeff Fisher
Right. Shut up. She could live anywhere on the planet, but. All right, I've decided where I live. I. I'm gonna complain about. She sold her Tesla and made a big deal about, you know, because of President Musk, and she donated that money to npr. I think so. I mean, she's at least doing that.
Pat Gray
Good for her.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. I mean, at least she's doing that. I get it. But, you know, do that.
Pat Gray
Yeah. Do what you want with your own money.
Jeff Fisher
Do that. Yeah.
Pat Gray
You want to waste it with PBS and npr, fine.
Jeff Fisher
On you. Go ahead.
Pat Gray
All right. You know, in pbs, they already have sponsors. They already have people who donate this program made possible through the donation, the generous gift of blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
I'll do more of that. If you're not getting your 50 million in federal funding, find it somewhere else.
Jeff Fisher
Every other weekend, you can have a yard sale, sell the, you know, sell your CDs and DVDs and.
Pat Gray
Exactly.
Jeff Fisher
Do. Do your. Your documentary shows, which many I've actually watched and so have you. Yeah, yeah.
Pat Gray
You know, do all that or dry up and blow away. I don't really care what you do, frankly.
Jeff Fisher
What about the people who listen, Pat?
Pat Gray
Yeah, well, they can also dry up and blow away. I mean, we're not responsible for it.
Jeff Fisher
Will they have anything else to listen to?
Pat Gray
Yeah, there's a couple of things they could listen to instead of pbs. Yeah. Really?
Jeff Fisher
I mean, you do a show every day.
Pat Gray
I. I do. You could think. Listen to me.
Jeff Fisher
Sure.
Pat Gray
Yeah, they could.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
You could listen to this show, the Glenn Beck program right here. I mean, there's plenty of options. And they're, you know, virtually free. Like, this show is free for the take, taking for the listening.
Jeff Fisher
There you go.
Pat Gray
So congratulations.
Jeff Fisher
Every day, that's free. Chewing the Fat. All you do is just subscribe. You're good to go.
Pat Gray
Have you managed to keep that price?
Jeff Fisher
I have. I'm working hard, you know, for right now. If you subscribe today, right now, on a platform of your choice, Chewing the Fat with Jeff Fisher, it's free.
Pat Gray
Can you guarantee it'll always be free, though?
Jeff Fisher
No. No one can make that guarantee, Pat.
Pat Gray
Well, I appreciate your effort, though, on our behalf. I really do.
Jeff Fisher
I will say that, you know, the odds are in your favor. Well, I can't make that Guarantee they are in my.
Pat Gray
Yeah, okay, good. All right, well, good. Now if it ever becomes problematic where you need more money to make it happen, could you go do fundraising?
Jeff Fisher
All right, I'll put packages together.
Pat Gray
Good. I'll be looking forward to that. All right, Triple eight, seven, two, seven back. Also, apparently we've got a measles outbreak that continues and just is not subsiding.
Jeff Fisher
What the thing is, is we just had this. Is around this neck of the woods here in northern Texas, in Denton county, and they have confirmed a case because.
Pat Gray
It was in West Texas right Now it has spread.
Jeff Fisher
Well, they have confirmed a case.
Pat Gray
A case.
Jeff Fisher
And they have done a complete rundown down of contact tracing, of course, because this person went to a number of places in a couple of days. Then we found out that that person was infected. So, I mean, they list every place this person went to. Oh, really pretty. Burrito, Donut Plaza, Rangers public. They went. Oh, that's a Rangers game. Guitars and growlers, Walmart. They went wind. There are a few other. Methodist church, another restaurant.
Pat Gray
All of this is in Denton?
Jeff Fisher
No, in the greater DFW area.
Pat Gray
Oh, wow. Well, we're all dead then, right? All 8 million of us are dropped.
Jeff Fisher
It's not immediately clear if this person was vaccinated, but measles are highly contagious and up to nine out of 10 people nearby will become infected if they are not protected. Protected.
Pat Gray
So infected if not protected.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you. I really seriously don't understand why we're treating this like it's a.
Pat Gray
Like it's bubonic plague or. Or it's Ebola or something. I. I had measles when I was a kid. It was no big deal. And again, people had measles parties back in the day so that everybody.
Jeff Fisher
Pox, mumps, all that would take the kids, line them up. So we got to get it and.
Pat Gray
Get out of the way and because you want to get it as a child rather than as an adult when it could do more damage, of course. So they tried to get it out of the way. So I don't know. It's. It's. I mean, on my show a month or so ago, we highlighted the difference between the way we treat measles today as compared to like 1969, 1970, when the Brady's Bunch. The Brady Bunch, it was funny at the time, got measles and we had a measles party and it was fun. We took the day off and we didn't go to school. It was great. Right to today when it was what Was it an SVU presentation? It was one of the svu.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
Shows.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
Where it's a national emergency, people are dying. Yeah. A completely different feel to it.
Jeff Fisher
And, I mean, one person has measles and we have to contact trace that person and.
Pat Gray
Insane.
Jeff Fisher
It's really insane. I don't quite understand those. The. The. The scaredness.
Pat Gray
Yeah, I. I don't either. I. The hysteria is. It's seemingly ridiculous to me now. Was this guy in Denton who had measles, was he anywhere near, let's say.
Jeff Fisher
The Titanic, using gender language? Because I don't know if it was a guy.
Pat Gray
They. Were they anywhere near? For instance, the Titanic does.
Jeff Fisher
It was not on the exhibit, which I just want to know that they were. But there. That was not on the list.
Pat Gray
Okay. Whew, that's close. Because I think it would be on the list. So I was there, so I'd be.
Jeff Fisher
So you went to see the Titanic. Is it a traveling museum exhibit? Is that what it is?
Pat Gray
I guess so, yeah. I mean, I saw this years ago.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
I've seen them in Houston and they've.
Jeff Fisher
Got so much more information and so much more artifacts and stuff now. It should be a lot more about.
Pat Gray
It now than they did back then.
Jeff Fisher
And we have technology to make it. I mean, do they have, like, lifeboat rides or anything at the.
Pat Gray
No. Lifeboat boat ride, no, but very cool. And they've recreated, like, you know, that beautiful staircase that you see in Titanic movie? They recreated that and some of the suites. And they've got a lot of paraphernalia that didn't necessarily come from the Titanic because a lot of that is at the bottom of the ocean now and we don't have access to it.
Jeff Fisher
These are. These are authentic recreation creations or authentic.
Pat Gray
Actual items from the twin. Like the other boats that were just like the Titanic. I think one was called the Olympic or something.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
The other was. Whatever it was.
Jeff Fisher
So, I mean, that makes it better than the certified replica.
Pat Gray
Yes, because they were actually used at the time. So you see. And some of. Some of the things are actually from the Titanic. For instance, there's a. A cup and a saucer that came from the Titanic because the person who presented them to authorities and passed it down through the generations stole it from the ship and got off.
Jeff Fisher
There you go.
Pat Gray
Got off the ship in Ireland before it sang. So fortunately, we had a thief on board.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
And they took some of the stuff.
Jeff Fisher
Bless his heart.
Pat Gray
Bless their heart. I. Again, again, a little gender issue there. We don't know if it was in Fact, apologize a he. But one of the things I found fascinating at the display was they talked about how well stocked the ship was because, you know, there was a lot of rich people on it.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. This not what. Not for the unwashed masses. No.
Pat Gray
Well, they, they could be there, but it cost. And I couldn't believe how much it cost. For the third class passengers. It was 40 bucks to get a third class ticket, which at the time, adjusted for inflation, would be 940 bucks.
Jeff Fisher
Which is why. Which is why in the documentary, Jack was happy to win it in a card game. Yes.
Pat Gray
Right.
Jeff Fisher
Okay.
Pat Gray
First class tickets were 3, $300, which is the equivalent of 77, 000.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
Today.
Jeff Fisher
That's a lot of money.
Pat Gray
A lot of money. I mean, that's incredible.
Jeff Fisher
That's why the Richie Hoity toits were so. Hoity toity. I spent a lot of money to get on that bad right away.
Pat Gray
And then, you know, as a result, most of them died.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah.
Pat Gray
John Astor died. He went down with the ship. Guggenheim went down with the ship. He and his wife. He actually had a chance to get on one of the. And this is what you'll see if you go to the exhibit. And I highly recommend it. It's really fun. It's very interesting. Interesting. But Guggenheim and his wife were at the lifeboats and he was offered a place on the lifeboat. And he said, no, I will not take the life of some woman who. Or child who should be getting my place just because I was a coward. So he didn't. And his wife wouldn't get on. She said, where you go, I go. So they.
Jeff Fisher
Like a good woman.
Pat Gray
Yep, exactly. So she went back to the kitchen and made him lunch.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you. Before they sang.
Pat Gray
But it was a darn good lunch. I understand.
Jeff Fisher
I was. We just did the story about the guy who, who died and they, they, they just auctioned off his letters. He was one of the first ones that wrote a letter from the Titanic. And it talked about his life. He was the first person to die that was a survivor from it. He survived. He jumped in the water, rode on top of a lifeboat that was up, turned upside down, and then was rescued. And he suffered from damage being in that cold water for that amount of time for his whole life.
Pat Gray
He was in there for a couple hours.
Jeff Fisher
Yeah. I don't know how. I mean, I don't know the whole time, but you know, those people. That was horrific. It was horrific. And even if you survived, one of.
Pat Gray
The things they have at the display is this giant. It looks like an iceberg. But it was created because you can actually touch it. They want you to. So you can feel how cold it is because they've got it in liquid nitrogen.
Jeff Fisher
Right?
Pat Gray
Nitrogen. And it's. It was. That particular display is 32 degrees. The actual water was a little bit colder than that at 30 degrees.
Jeff Fisher
Wow.
Pat Gray
And so it shows just what they.
Jeff Fisher
Went through once they hit. Once they hit the water, the water.
Pat Gray
Cuz it was not pleasant.
Jeff Fisher
Right.
Pat Gray
We're not taking a steam bath.
Jeff Fisher
Did you. How long did you last?
Pat Gray
About a second and a half. But fascinating exhibit. It's. It's really good. And they talk, talked about the provisions that they had on board which included 75,000 pounds of fresh meat, 11,000 pounds of fresh fish.
Jeff Fisher
Wow.
Pat Gray
4,000 pounds of salted and dry fish, 7,500 pounds of bacon and ham, 25,000 pounds of poultry and game talking, 40,000 eggs, 2,500 pounds of sausage. Or as you would call it, Jeffy breakfast.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you.
Pat Gray
So.
Jeff Fisher
Thank you. I mean that's a good start, right? That's a good start, right?
Pat Gray
That's what I figured when I saw the list of it. I thought this is just a Good start for Jeffy. 888, 900, 888, 727 Beck. More coming up.
Jeff Fisher
Can't believe he used to be a top 40 disc jockey. But anyway, anyway, we still love him. Glenn Beck will be right back.
Glenn Beck

Pat Gray
No, don't say that. They are.
Jeff Fisher
She's got a lot of backlash.
Pat Gray
Oh, wow.
Jeff Fisher
She's gotten about a lot of backlash.
Pat Gray
She's Pat and Jeffy, by the way, for Glenn today. Apparently things are not. Are they going a little rocky for Katy Perry?
Jeff Fisher
She claims to have been battered and bruised.
Pat Gray
No, battered and bruised. Don't say that.
Jeff Fisher
Because Pathet is a dog.
Pat Gray
Because she's an astronaut and people are jealous. Is that what it is?
Jeff Fisher
That's exactly what it is.
Pat Gray
He's a very famous singing astronaut.
Jeff Fisher
That's exactly what it is.
Pat Gray
Who has been to space. And because you. You haven't, you gotta berate her for it. Is that what it is?
Jeff Fisher
That's exactly what it is. And she said, look, the Internet is a dumping ground.
Pat Gray
Yeah.
Jeff Fisher
Unhinged and the unhealed.
Pat Gray
Oh, wow.
Jeff Fisher
And so she write about that while she's felt battered and bruised. She kept looking to the light, Pat.
Pat Gray
Oh, good for.
Jeff Fisher
Good for her. And I don't know how the new concert is going. She's got a new concert happening or not? Concert tour.
Pat Gray
I'm sure it's going well.
Jeff Fisher
I'm sure it is. I'm sure it is. Especially.
Pat Gray
That's terrific.
Jeff Fisher
I mean, she was an astronaut now, a former astronaut.
Pat Gray
Wouldn't you want to see a singing astronaut? I would, I.
Jeff Fisher
Look, she said before they launched, and I don't know if that's changed or not, but before they launched, she said that they were going to put the ass back in astronaut. So, I mean, I believe that happened.
Pat Gray
Did you really say that?
Jeff Fisher
Yes.
Pat Gray
I'm gonna put the ass back in astronaut.
Jeff Fisher
Said. She said that. We appreciate you thinking I was lying about something like that, so.
Pat Gray
All right. Well, way to go, Katie.
Jeff Fisher
Sorry. This whole, you know, this wow, ridicule of her online has got to stop.
Pat Gray
You know, nobody would have ridiculed any of them had they not made such a big deal out of how great they were. Because they did it. You know what I mean?
Jeff Fisher
I do.
Pat Gray
If they didn't act like, hey, we are record setting history makers here. Astronomy.
Jeff Fisher
Astronauts.
Pat Gray
Astronauts. Yeah. You went up for four minutes. Okay. Get over yourself.
Jeff Fisher
Calm down. This is Glenn, Becky.
Podcast Summary: The Glenn Beck Program – "Did Trump Finally Make Ukraine Pay Us Back?" | May 2, 2025
Introduction In this episode of The Glenn Beck Program, hosted by the Blaze Podcast Network, Glenn Beck, along with co-hosts Pat Gray and Jeff Fisher, delves into a range of pressing issues concerning American politics, foreign policy, and societal challenges. The central theme revolves around whether former President Donald Trump's administration has succeeded in making Ukraine provide a form of repayment for the substantial aid the U.S. has extended since the onset of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
1. U.S. Intervention in Ukraine and the Minerals Deal The discussion begins with an analysis of the significant financial commitment the U.S. has made to Ukraine, amounting to approximately $350 billion in aid, encompassing both financial support and military assistance.
Pat Gray highlights the contrast between U.S. aid and that of other European nations, noting, “$350 billion... the Biden administration... The American people are just out of pocket on this, without any means of any kind of repayment whatsoever.” (05:00)
Jeff Fisher underscores the administration's stance: “Everything we're doing is what they've done to us for 40 years. But we're doing it bigger and better.” (09:35)
The hosts express skepticism over Ukraine's commitment to restitute the aid, critiquing the Biden administration's policies and emphasizing President Trump's efforts to secure a mutually beneficial minerals deal. Tulsi Gabbard is featured discussing the deal's significance, asserting that it aims to create a "mutually beneficial partnership" that offers Ukraine access to rare earth minerals while providing the U.S. a form of repayment.
2. Gain of Function Research and Health Concerns The conversation shifts to the controversial topic of "gain of function" research, particularly focusing on its implications for global health and the origins of COVID-19.
Tulsi Gabbard discusses the dangers of U.S.-funded gain of function research in Ukraine and other biolabs worldwide, suggesting a possible link to the COVID-19 pandemic: “We have to end this gain of function research and provide the evidence that shows exactly why and how it's in our best interest...” (18:09)
Pat Gray and Jeff Fisher express strong opposition to such research, emphasizing the potential for future pandemics and the administration's alleged negligence in oversight: “We have to stop this gain of function research.” (22:11)
3. Media Coverage and Stephen Miller's Criticism Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff, delivers a vehement critique of the mainstream media's portrayal of immigration and Biden's policies, accusing the media of bias and neglecting violent incidents involving undocumented immigrants.
Stephen Miller laments, “It is a sad reflection on the state of our media... you all choose to live in condos...” (47:18)
He recounts the tragic case of Jocelyn Nungaree, arguing that media coverage is insufficient and driven by financial incentives rather than public safety concerns.
The hosts support Miller's stance, portraying him as a defender against media bias and emphasizing the administration's commitment to addressing violent crimes linked to undocumented immigrants.
4. Climate Change and Dolphin Strandings in Los Angeles Pat Gray and Jeff Fisher discuss the alarming increase in dolphin strandings along the Los Angeles coast, attributing it to climate change and algal blooms.
Pat Gray cites Dr. John Warner's assertion: “It's the end of the debate about whether climate change is real.” (30:00)
Jeff Fisher and Pat Gray debate the severity and causes, with Pat emphasizing human-induced climate factors and the emotional toll on lifeguards: “They have begun to take mental health days to cope with the devastation.” (29:36)
Their exchange highlights a dismissive attitude towards the ongoing debates on climate change, presenting it as an indisputable reality confirmed by increasing environmental disturbances.
5. Teacher's Lawsuit Against Students (Susan Bartley Case) A significant segment covers the lawsuit filed by Susan Bartley, a middle school teacher in Oregon, against her school district for sexual harassment by students.
Pat Gray details the case: “Susan Bartley... sued the Portland Public Schools...” (81:40)
The hosts condemn the students' behavior and the administration's failure to address the harassment, applauding the $301,000 payout as a just outcome for Bartley: “Everyone would be in jail to this day...” (50:20)
This discussion underscores concerns about classroom safety, boundary issues, and administrative inaction in addressing misconduct.
6. Reduction in Shipments from China at Port of Los Angeles The hosts analyze the impact of declining shipments from China at the Port of Los Angeles, attributing it to increased tariffs and U.S. companies' refusal to bear additional costs.
Pat Gray explains the statistics: “Shipments from China are expected to plummet by 35%...” (88:44)
Jeff Fisher and Pat Gray discuss the broader economic implications, including potential shortages and increased costs for American consumers: “It's a domino effect.” (92:02)
They advocate for supporting American manufacturing and express frustration over U.S. businesses' reluctance to maintain domestic supply chains.
7. Climate Change Misconceptions and Public Health Further discussions touch upon the public health implications of environmental changes, questioning mainstream narratives around climate change and its effects.
Pat Gray reiterates skepticism about climate change's human causation, citing natural Earth cycles and downplaying its immediate threats: “It's frustrating...” (32:57)
The hosts express a dismissive stance towards scientific consensus, framing environmental changes as cyclical and manageable without drastic policy interventions.
Conclusion The episode concludes with reflections on the ongoing political and societal issues, emphasizing themes of government accountability, media bias, and national sovereignty. The hosts consistently advocate for conservative perspectives, critiquing current administration policies, promoting nationalistic sentiments, and urging listeners to support American interests both domestically and internationally.
