You know, you think it's never going to happen to you, but one day it does. All of those times in the movies, seeing somebody get mugged, nothing to prepare you for experiencing it in real life because in real life, it's faster, it's closer, it's a lot more confusing than you expect it to be and is also terrifying. It's scarier than you imagine.

Hello, America. I am sorry to say that we have to go through this again. Yet another attempt on the President's life. We're going to talk about the assassin next door. What happened? How did this happen? What does this mean for the future? Give you my perspective and all of the news of the day and talk to people who were there over the weekend. We'll begin here in 60 seconds. First, let me tell you about preborn. Look how far we have slipped morally in this country when the ability for a mom to abort her child in the womb is treated as a fundamental American right. You know, you look at the left now and the callous disregard for life, it's not a surprise that this kind of stuff is happening. Ends justify the means. You don't want to have a baby. Well, you can kill the child. You know, you think something is wrong. You have a right to kill somebody. You think that, you know, somebody has a lower quality of life. Society, I guess, will decide that we can snuff their life out like it's happening in Canada. This is all connected to one another. We need to reconnect with our humanity and the value of life. And preborn will connect, especially expectant moms, with free ultrasounds, real support and people who actually care. And time and time again, when a mom sees that that's a child and realizes this isn't an abstract issue, it's a human life, everything can change. This April preborn's goal is to have 11,000 gospel conversations in a Preborn Network clinic. Trusting God to bring the increase as they just remain faithful to speak help make that possible. Would you sponsor an ultrasound? $28 provides one ultrasound. 140 sponsors five ultrasounds. Sounds for a mom in crisis. And every dollar helps saves babies and their mothers and quite honestly, I think us as well our society share the hope of the gospel. Donate £250 250 say the key word baby. Donate what you can preborn.com Beck that's preborn.com Beck £250 sponsored by Preborn 8:35 Saturday night. That's Eastern time. I'm in Houston. I'm about to give a speech in Houston, Texas. As they are introducing me, my wife leans over and she said, honey, it's happened again. And she hands me her phone. I see that shots had been fired in Washington D.C. 31 year old man named Cole Thomas Allen from Torrance, California. He rushes a secret service checkpoint armed with a shotgun, a handgun and knives. How did he get them from California all the way? Well, he took a train, he lied and then he stayed at the hotel. He opened fire. One brave secret service officer takes a round to his vest and lives. Allen is tackled, he's taken into custody unarmed and the dinner is canceled. The President was up on the dais next to the first lady, her face a look of horror on her face. As this happens yet again, the President is calm. He is chatting with the head of the White House correspondents, the journalists. I don't know how she feels about the President. But the president calmly gets up and they're saying, get down, Mr. President, get down. And he said, I want to see what's going on. They said, please Mr. President, get down. He gets down on his knees. She's down next to him. Melania is down. Head of the White House correspondents dinner said, he held my hand while we were down. Everybody was in the line of fire on Saturday, or thought they could be, as we dodged yet another political assassination. This time one of the most symbolic events on the calendar and, and one made for history. The president hasn't attended any of these because the press has been so hostile to him his whole career. But he decided, you know what? Let's try to make peace. I'm gonna go. And this time it wasn't some lone wolf, it wasn't some random lunatic, it wasn't some crazed madman. This was calculated, it was premeditated. And it was a man who had absolutely everything going for him and he threw it all away because he truly believed that Donald Trump was a fascist or a child rapist, a pedophile, you name it. Everything that they've said about him on television, everything the Southern Poverty Law center tried to say, he believed. This guy wasn't a basement dwelling nobody. Cole Allen was, was a brilliant Caltech graduate. Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in 2017, Masters in Computer science from California State University. He, he worked for a while at NASA, at jpl, an internship. He worked as a mechanical engineer, built video games on the side. He was, you know, first person shooter games. He was a part time tutor and a teacher at C2 Education. He was named teacher of the month just in, I think December of 24. Students loved him, colleagues respected him, no criminal record, church going family man who thanked his parents and his face and his faith in the manifesto that he, he sent right before he tried to

the friendly federal assassin. How did this happen? Well, I think we know Barack Obama is still a little confused by it. He doesn't know. Social media post dripping with anti Trump rage, anti Christian venom. He donated to Kamala Harris in 2024. He marched in the no Kings anti Trump protest in California. He fell in to a group called the Wide Awakes. I'm going to tell you the story of the Wide Awakes here today because it's a piece of American history and a very important piece of American history that is rhyming right now again. He started talking more and more about fixing the issues of today's world through radical action. He bought guns, too, a handgun and a shotgun. He trained at the shooting range religiously. His own sister watched it happen, and she grew terrified of him. Now she's a journalist. I don't think she's on the Trump train, but she saw it and knew what was happening. And here's where the warnings came in. Really loud, really clear, really repeated. The family wasn't silent. They saw the radicalization happening in real time. His sister described him to investigators as somebody who made constant radical statements about, quote, needing to do something. She called, they came, they listened, they did nothing. The family had previously reported his behavior to law enforcement, specifically citing his rhetoric and the frequent trips to the gun range. They flagged him, but what are they going to do? They tried. His sister later sat down with Secret Service in Montgomery County. Police at their family home in Rockville laid it all out for them. But the poison was already in the bloodstream. And what are you going to do? Then came the manifesto. It was about 10 minutes before he opened fire. He emailed a 1052 word document to his family. I'm not gonna read it. But he called himself the friendly Federal assassin, and he laid out his rules of engagement. The primary targets Trump administration officials ranked from highest to lowest. Who he was going to kill. He said, I really feel badly about it. He expressed remorse to his students, his colleagues, his parents, even the hotel staff and any innocent bystanders he knew might be killed. He apologized for having to lie to his family and everybody else, saying that he had a job interview in Washington, D.C. he said the act made him want to throw up, but he felt rage because this administration was filled with pedophiles. Where do you get that? His brother did exactly what a good citizen should do. As soon as he saw the manifesto, he picked up the phone. He called the New London Police Department in Connecticut. He alerted authorities immediately. No hesitation. The family tried again and again to stop it. By the time police were notified, shooting had already happened. But because the brothers action, it helped investigators connect the dots fast. That's how we knew who he was right away. How did this happen? And is this one different? He was radicalized the same way our children are being radicalized today. Not by some foreign terrorist group, but by the toxic stew that is American politics in 2026, that is online, on media, in podcasts, the endless media hysteria, the online echo chambers, rapists. They're all child pedophiles. They're all fascists. And the belief that our political opponents aren't just wrong, that they're evil. We had a discussion in our morning meeting today. Michaela said, I think this guy is evil. And I said, I don't think he is, Michaela. I don't think he is. I think he's been seduced by evil. I think he actually believes he was good, and that's how evil really works. I want to go into that a little later. I have a few things that I think we should talk about. He wrote that what his representatives do reflect on him personally so he could no longer permit it. He saw himself as a hero. And that mindset is the danger. The guy thought he was Bonhoeffer. And he was smart. He had a bright future. Really bright future. Now he's facing federal charges, likely put him in prison, hopefully for the rest of his life. Of course, they are trying him in Washington, D.C. so who knows? But he was a promising engineer, a teacher, a game developer gone wasted. Gone. But think, who else pays a price? His parents. They had no idea the guns were even in their home. His sister, a journalist with her own career now linked forever to this nightmare. But again, I say she's a journalist. I don't know how this is all gonna play out. The students and the colleagues that trusted him, what are they saying today? What are they saying? Are they holding him up as a hero? The entire family's name? In any other time in American history, it would be dragged through the mud. I mean, just that story. Your name is mud around here. Just that story. When you say that, it's with a double D. M U D D, not M U D. Mud. That was the name of the doctor who actually helped John Wilkes Booth reset his leg. And for a while, they didn't know if he really knew who he was working on. But it was the fact that he pulled the boot off of John Wilkes Booth leg, and the back of the boot, it said John Wilkes Booth. So they knew immediately he was lying. He knew exactly who he was dealing with. And that's where that phrase comes from. Your name is mud in this town. That's the stigma that went with somebody who just tried to help the assassin, not the assassin himself, somebody who was giving aid to the assassin. And now will this family's name be mudd? It shouldn't be, because they weren't helping. They actually tried to warn. Their privacy is gone. Their lives upended forever. The Secret Service officer who took a bullet to the vest. Thank God he's alive. The hotel staff, the guests who were put in the crossfire. What is it like to go to Washington D.C. now? What is it like just to go stay at a hotel in Washington where the President might speak? How about us, the taxpayers, who are now footing the bill for millions more insecurity at every future public event? And what is the cost on the Republic itself? This is how our Republic will die. Bright young men convinced that violence is the only answer to a political disagreement. When assassination becomes thinkable, when fixing the world means opening fire at a dinner, that's how our Republic unravels. Politicians, left, right, center, they're going to have to start living behind the walls now. What do you think that's going to do? Events get canceled. Trust evaporates. The next shooter learns from this one's mistake and gets closer. People who pay the ultimate price aren't the billionaires. They're not the ones like me, the talking heads on TV or on radio or in podcast. It's the families. It's each of our families. It's the families like the Allen shattered by a son or a brother they couldn't reach. It's the ordinary American who will pay yet another high price and lose a piece of the free, open society that we all grew up in. It's the Republic that pays the price as we lose, yet just one more piece of our soul every time hatred wins. This guy wasn't born this way. He was taught to be this way. He was radicalized. Step by step, post by post, protest by protest, march after march. He actually began to believe that murder was moral. His family saw it. They warned, they acted. But in a country where political rage is treated like a virtue instead of poison, how many other. How many other guys are out there right now? America, we are running out of warnings. We have to do better. We have to call this what it is. This is domestic terrorism born of ideological hatred. The next time the shots ring out, we might not be so lucky. And the price and the price for success on this will be unbearable. More in a minute. Let me tell you about our sponsor. It's real estate agents I trust. If you're looking to buy or sell a house right now, you'd be forgiven thinking it's all just one big game of chance. But it's not. You know, you don't want to shake the dice and, you know, blow on them and hope for the best outcome. He's to throw them across the table. You want somebody who really knows what they're doing. You need somebody who knows how to inspect, how to negotiate, how to price your house the right way, how to get it ready to be viewed, how to use social media to get the right people in. I mean, that's what you really need. And that's a great real estate agent. And I'd like to introduce you to a great real estate agent in your area. It's realestate. Agentsitrust.com this is my company. We started working with the 500 Best Real Estate agents in the country according to the Wall Street Journal. And we grew from there. We learned what makes them the best and then we found those kinds of people. And you know what? A lot of it just has to do with being a man of your word. Somebody who really knows what they're doing, has really studied, knows the latest things that have to be done in social media, et cetera, et cetera, to get your house sold. It's realestateagentsitrust.com buy or sell a home with real confidence. Realestateagentsitrust.com 10 seconds. Station ID. I have a lot of angles I want to hit on this, but I wanted to open with just the news of what happened, who this guy was, and make sure that all of us understand that this is an all of us problem. This, this problem is not coming from the right. I'm sorry, when they say, you know, it's coming from the right and the left, maybe a little bit, maybe a little bit from the right. But this is a definite problem coming from the left over and over and over and over again. And we have to stop saying, you know, I can't take this, I can't take this whole pedophile stuff anymore. I am just as upset about Jeffrey Epstein and I wonder why our government doesn't do things that other governments are doing. At least the English of all people have distanced themselves from Prince Andrew. At least they've thrown that dirt bag out. But this is all political and it's being used and it is becoming extraordinarily dangerous. You know what? Don't listen to anybody on the left that talks to you anything about Jeffrey Epstein. If they support the open borders and the Islamists that are here in America are trying to tell you all about Palestine and everything else. Don't listen to them. Don't listen to them. You're, you're worried about pedophiles, but you can turn a blind eye to an entire society that marries 9 year olds to 40 year old men. You, you, you don't even know what you're talking about. You are not standing on moral principles at all. All you're doing is talking politics and I have no time for you. No time for you. This president is the guy on record that was turning the evidence over on, on Epstein before anybody else would even talk about it. Oh, he's a fascist, is he? Is he? Show me. Show, tell me, tell me the fascistic things that he's doing. Let's take those one at a time. Stay focused, one at a time. Let's run each of those things down. Show it to me. I want to see it. We have to start using critical thinking and we must reject those who are condemning one side or the other as all evil have to be stopped, no matter the consequence. People who are, who are grooming our society and our one whole generation that death is acceptable. This is a death cult and we all need to stand against it now before the death of the republic arrives and it gets closer and closer every day. But there is some positive things to report on this as well. I'll get to that coming up. Also somebody who is there. NMLS 182334 nmlsconsumeraccess.org APR for rates in the five starts at 6.799% for well qualified borrowers. Call 800-906-2440 for details about credit cost. We're going to talk to Katie Pavlich here in just a second. She was there on Saturday. First Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where your credit card balance wasn't hitting, you know, with crippling, compounded interest? Sounds nice. Unfortunately, we don't live in that world. If you're somebody who's had to lean on credit cards a little too often, I get it. Everybody's doing it. Groceries, car repairs, medical bills, just keeping up. When everything gets more and more expensive, there's a good chance that that balance can grow into something really serious. And I'm talking about the kind of debt that eats through your monthly budget, makes it harder to save, can set you years back, you know, because it's just collecting interest. This is where American Financing might be able to help homeowners have options to consolidate high interest debt, credit card debt by using your home equity and you don't have to get rid of that really sweet loan that you have at a very low interest. They have new ways to approach this. Please call them. It's American finance. Financing.net, americanfinancing.net Call them now.

You know, you go back 20 years, 40 years, 100 years, 200 years, 500 years, it's always been there. People are assassinated, people are injured, people are hurt. And I'm not sure that there's any more now than there was.
Glenn Beck
I do think that the hate speech of the Democrats, much more so is is very dangerous.
Andrew Collette
Every I really think it's very dangerous for the country.
Glenn Beck
I have to tell you. Jennifer say from xxyy I was reading an article from her. She was there. She's not a political person. She went for the first time and she said she saw signs. Rapists. She was called a rapist for even attending. You're a rapist, you're a fascist. All of these signs leading into it. What do you think people are and what is the president supposed to do about that? O' Donnell what is the president supposed to do? Katie Pavlich, host of Katie Pavlich tonight, is with us. She was there with News Nation on Saturday. Katie, we are so glad that you're okay and that everybody's all right. How are you feeling today?
Katie Pavlich
Thanks, Glenn. It was, I was trying to reflect yesterday about what happened, but the feeling I keep coming back to is anger and frustration that this continues to happen.
Glenn Beck
You know, that the guy explain anger
Katie Pavlich
because, you know, being in the room and watching Caroline Levitt, who's nine months pregnant, have to be taken out of the room because there's someone outside trying to assassinate her boss and the people she works with. And for her potentially watching people who I've known for 16 years, who are my friends, Pete Hegseth, for example, was in the room and then they took him outside and once they opened the doors, I was out in the hallway and he came by with his wife Jennifer. And we said hello to each other, you know, and said it's nice to see you. And then they whisked him away and he went off to the White House. But it's just, it's just infuriating that this continues to be something that is acceptable. And you know, I thought going into the night that security was going to be tough and that it would take me an hour to get into the hotel. It was not tough at all. I walked by those same protesters. You were just talking about with their Palestinian flags. And they were screaming that they hoped our dresses were ruined, that our night was ruined, that we were fascists for going to the dinner. He walked right into the hotel and the security downstairs, magnetometers were right above the ballroom, a stairwell away from everything that was happening in the room. Yeah, it's infuriating. And the manifesto, I think, speaks for itself, but it's just. It's infuriating just that it happened at all.
Glenn Beck
Let me ask you this. You know, we saw a couple of pictures there in the room, you know, that you just can't fake. Stephen Miller, also, you know, our defense secretary, standing up and shielding their wives. And then. And then, you know, pretty in Pink, I hear, you know, people, you know, rushing to the White House. In fact, I want to give the quote. What was it? The quote was, many of us ran to the White House in very heroic ways to make sure that we were there for the press conference. And I don't think I've ever heard a sentence with heroic and ran in the same sentence. But these journalists, a, I think experienced something for the first time. They thought they might be in the line of fire. And then they. They seem to make themselves out into heroes. What did you actually see?
Katie Pavlich
So we were in the room. They got everyone in and they closed the doors, they sealed off the room. Then they brought in President Trump. The first lady announced them at the front of the room. I was closer to the back of the room, near the doors where the press and everybody else entered. They announced the President. We did the color guard came in. We did the. The national anthem. President Trump was seated, and about five minutes into him being seated and everybody starting to get, you know, comfortable. Then because I was close to the doors, I heard the gunshots and people started hearing them. And then because the front of the room was so loud, people didn't know what was happening up near the stage. So we heard the gunshots. People around me went down on the floor. It was very packed. I don't know how they're capable of actually having that many people in there. It was impossible. We needed to leave the room for people to get out. So many people got on the floor. I was trying to see where the threat was. I was trying to see if there was someone in the room or if there was someone outside of the room. To me, it sounded like it happened outside of the room, but we weren't sure. Then glass starts breaking. You see Secret Service running down the middle of the room to get to the president. And they were Taken out very quickly. I mean, I turned my head and the President was gone. So they got him out very quickly. But then they were trying to find other people, Cabinet secretaries who were sitting in the room, and they were spread out because different news outlets were. They invited guests at their tables. Right. So all these different security details are trying to find their people, to get them out of the room. And when I heard the shots, to me, it sounded like a controlled situation because it's ended quickly. There was not a real exchange of gunfire. It was not something that continued. There were about. There were five shots when you listened to the audio, and it was over. So to me, that indicated that Secret Service or some other law enforcement agency that was there had handled the situation. And it was not in the room. But people weren't sure exactly what happened. And there's no security. There was no service in the room, really. There was some WI fi, but it was very sporadic. So people couldn't go outside. Right? Exactly.
Glenn Beck
When the President is in the room, they usually shut all of that stuff down. So nobody can activate a bomb using cell service.
Katie Pavlich
Well, right. And that was the other. You know, there's so many questions here about the security. I mean, this guy checked into the hotel and he had. I just think it's a miracle that he was an amateur. If this had been an organized terrorist group or if this had been a suicide bomber who was able to get into even the upper level above the ballroom. There were thousands of people in the hotel, including cabinet secretaries at parties before the event started. So this perpetrator waited until the President was seated. Clearly he was watching on television, and that's when he tried to get into the room, and he was stopped. So Secret Service did their job. But the lead up to it, if it had been more organized,
Glenn Beck
did you see professional. Anybody in the room?
Katie Pavlich
Worse situation for everybody.
Glenn Beck
Did you see anybody in the room, Katie, that prayed?
Katie Pavlich
I don't. I don't think I was paying that close attention, Glenn, to be honest. I was looking to see, you know, where we needed to be, where people were going. Once people realized and the doors opened that the threat was over and they were letting people leave, people did run out on one side, they wanted to get out of there. Other people stood around to try and see if the President was coming back. There was some talk of him maybe coming back. The presidential seal was still on the podium and the lectern. He had said he wanted to come back, but then Secret Service eventually said, we're not going to do that. And once the Seal came off. I knew that he wasn't going to be coming back into the room, but people were scared. People were on the floor. They were very nervous. They should have been scared. But the fact is that this perpetrator was not there for them. He was there for Republicans who work for Donald Trump, and they were there for Donald Trump.
Glenn Beck
The media, I think, absolutely plays a huge role in all of this, but now they found themselves a little bit in the crossfire. Do you think this will change them at all? Think there's any change coming to the people in the media?
Katie Pavlich
I'd like to say yes, but I don't think so. I think that they maybe today and this week there'll be some reflection. But the rhetoric that we saw, we've seen from many in the media is very similar to what is in the manifesto calling the president a fascist, calling him a Nazi, saying he's an existential threat to the country. That is coming from many in the media, and it's coming from many mainstream Democrats. So they've wrapped themselves. They have too much political capital in this narrative to change it. Unfortunately, this is the third assassination attempt. This is not the first one. And we haven't seen changes so far. So I'm not sure it will change.
Glenn Beck
The president refuses to. I mean, I've asked him several times, and he'll always. He'll cut me off every time. And I've talked to him privately about it. Mr. President, I am so concerned about the Secret Service. Glenn, it's fine. It's all fine. I've looked into it. I trust them. But, Mr. President, I don't want to talk about it anymore. I mean, he is, he, he's, you know, he grew up with the power, positive thinking. Norman Vincent Peale was his pastor growing up in New York. And so he does not like to put things into his head that are negative, and he doesn't like to talk about them or discuss them. And I trust that, you know, it's his life. I trust that he has looked into this. But are you convinced the Secret Service is capable of protecting our president and the Republic?
Katie Pavlich
So I actually interviewed the president in January and asked him the same question about his safety. And, you know, there are plans for him to go out and campaign for Republican candidates ahead of the midterm elections Saturday night. They did do their job. There was no one who got into the room. The president was the guy that got the guy. The guy. The president was taken out of the room immediately. If you watch the video, the Secret Service stood right in front of the president, which is their job, in case there had been someone in the room to protect him. So they did do their job on that level when something happened. However, given the fact that this person checked into this hotel and that the hotel was still operating while the entire cabinet and the President of the United States was in the building, and the fact that there was no real security perimeter at all for everyone else, that is a failure. So two things can be true at once. They did their job to protect the president, but the other factors of the night were atrocious. You know, waving your ticket to get in, maybe. There was no ID check. There was no list of names anybody could have gotten in. So long as you went through the magnetometer, There were no really working. I saw one working dog. That's it. Inside the hotel. So the perimeter to get in. I mean, there was no check at the street. Anybody could have walked into the building.
Glenn Beck
Katie, Katie, when you look back at this, what is the one thing that you are going. What was the image or the one thing that you're going to live with?
Katie Pavlich
Just remember hearing the gunshots and wondering if there was someone in the room and knowing immediately that the target was the president, and then hearing the glass breaking and watching Katie Miller being escorted out of the room with her husband. She's also pregnant. People frantically trying to get their families out of their. And also, you know, once they got the president out, the SWAT team, I don't know if it's officially the SWAT team, so forgive me if the language is not proper, but they were in the room going table to table, trying to see what was going on, but it was very difficult for them to move around. They were walking on tables, on chairs, because people were on the floor. And even if the floor was not covered in people, it was so hard to move around in that room. Even if you were just. Nothing was happening. And it wasn't chaotic. So just the sounds, the scenes. But also I remember the president's words at the White House. I walked from the hotel to the White House to get into that press conference and listening to him say, look, we need to come together and tone down the temperature. Politics is supposed to be a substitute for violence. And at this point, we have one side of the political aisle that is continually pushing the envelope and promoting people in their party who have called for murder, and they're trying to do it. So where does that stop?
Glenn Beck
Katie, I have real respect for you and really admire you and thank you for your grace. Literally under fire. And thanks for coming On Today. I appreciate it, and I'm glad you're safe.
Katie Pavlich

Most of us think about protecting our home in very physical ways. We lock the doors, we install the cameras. But there's another way that your home can be targeted, and it doesn't involve anyone stepping foot in your property. It is actually called home title fraud, and it's exactly what it sounds like. Criminals forge documents. They file them with the county, they transfer ownership of your home into their name, and then once all that happens, they can attempt to take out loans against your property or even try to sell it out from under you. The scary part is like you don't really know much about this as it's going on. Regular homeowners insurance doesn't typically protect you from this, and the mortgage company isn't looking for it either. That's why you need home title lock. They monitor your home's title and alert you to any changes that could signal fraud. So you're not left discovering it after the fact, which is a big problem. Something suspicious shows up, you can immediately act and you can get it out. You can knock it out quickly. I've partnered with home Title lock for a while now because I want you to be able to protect your equity. I want you to be able to find out if you're already a victim of this because it's devastating if you get caught up in it. The promo code is Blaze. Blaze is the promo code. @hometitlelock.com you'll get a free title history report plus a free trial of their million dollar triple lock protection 24. 7 monitoring of your title, urgent alerts to any changes and if fraud occurs, a US based restoration team will spend up to a million bucks to fix it for you. I just want to. I want to play something that Jimmy Kimmel did about the White House Correspondent's Dinner. During his broadcast last Thursday. He made this joke. Listen to this.
Andrew Collette
Our first Lady Melania is here. Look at Melanie, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.
Glenn Beck
Hysterical, isn't it? Please tell me hysterical. No, that's not a laugh track. That's not a laugh track. That's a live studio audience. And I'll bet you Jimmy Kimmel doesn't feel an ounce of regret on saying something like that. This is the kind of stuff that has to stop. It has to stop. And we as a society need to be very clear. Not funny. Not funny. Never ever funny. Stop trying to kill the President and those who are in Washington D.C. on any side of the aisle. Stop trying to kill people in our government. Stop it. The direction of this country isn't just being decided in Washington. It's being decided in our culture, in our economy, and in the choices that every single person makes every day. Who do you support? Take your cell phone plan for instance. The big wireless companies don't really care what you believe. You know, they do whatever they want with your money. But Patriot Mobile, it's different. For more than 12 years, they've stood with Americans who believe freedom is worth defending that supporting Christian conservative movement when a lot of other companies won't even touch it. You're not giving up anything to make the switch. They offer premium priority access on all three major networks. So whatever you're on, you're on the same one, but except you get better pricing now with a hundred percent US based customer support that can help you get set up in minutes. hello America from New York City. This is the Glenn Beck program. It is Monday and the world has changed. Or has it? I think we need to change as people. We need to know what is true and to make choices every day very carefully because the world is coming undone. It has gone insane. There's several things I want to talk about. A, how did the Secret Service was this. Is this the best we got? They dropped the ball. I mean, nobody was killed. Also some of the politicians, I mean, one, one politician who is on the left. Actually, I think two. But one that really came to of mine is a congresswoman, low level congresswoman from Washington state that just tweeted immediately, please stop trying to murder our president. That was a Democrat that did that. Thank you. Thank you for doing that. This guy was a part of what was called the Wide Awakes. And the Wide Awakes were a movement in the 1860s. These. And it is, it is such a bizarre thing that I happen to be traveling with something from the Wide Awakes. This is an amazing story. I want to show something to you and it'll explain what the Wide Awakes were and what they've turned into now. But I want to spend a couple of minutes on this assassin in particular and how, what it means to each of us. We'll do that in 60 seconds. First, back in the 80s, you wanted to steal somebody's identity. You know, you had to work for it. You needed a fake mustache and a trench coat. I think you needed to rummage through file cabinets under flickering lights, you know, and synth music playing in the background. At some point, you're probably gonna get chased through a parking, you know, garage by a detective, you know, who was, you know, probably at some point hanging onto the. The hood of his car. You know, that's not the way it happens anymore. Right now, everything. A stolen password, 30 seconds of free time can cause a whole buttload of damage and they never have to leave their house. Modern identity theft does not look like Starsky and Hutch. It looks like something opening an account online, somebody opening that account in your name. And that's why I recommend LifeLock. They help monitor to look for signs. And they will alert you to certain changes or threats and you can respond quickly with them. The bad guys have an upgrade. You need one well as well. Protect yourself now with lifelock. Save up to 40% off your first year with the promo code BECK1,800,LIFELOCK. 1,800-LIFELOCK. Or head to lifelock.com use the promo code BECK40% off now. Terms do apply. So this killer, if you read his manifesto and I don't recommend it, I can just summarize it for you. He thought he was. He thought he was working for God. He thought he was Bonhoeffer. He said, I've got to stop all the pedophiles. I have to stop all of the racist. I have to stop all the fascists. And it's left up to me. And he then apologized to, you know, his family and everybody else. And he seems like a really, really nice guy. Let me just tell you. He's not obviously a really nice guy, but he's not evil either. He's not crazy and he's not a lone wolf. He was a guy who had an awful lot of potential, very, very smart, and got himself wrapped up in the left, was part of the no kings march and everything else, and started to believe all this and then started to convince himself that he was on a mission from God, that he had to do the right thing to save the republic from all of these pedophiles. I want to talk to you about this because I. I have been saying this for a while, and it is so important that we take every moment to recognize we've just taken another step towards darkness. So you need to take another step and a half towards the light. This guy was not evil. This guy thought he was doing right. The only way out of this situation now is the God revolution of the past. Not a revolution with guns. But quite honestly, that's what got us out of the 1860s. That's what got us out of the 1700s, was a God revolution. That was a God revolution. When we went into the Civil War, that was a God revolution. When we went into the 1960s gang, that was a God revolution. At the end, it was God that saved us. It was the. What did they call it? I think they actually called it the God revolution, didn't they? The Jesus revolution. That's what it was. That's what saves us every time. God is the shield from the disease of almost right. Because that's what happened to this guy. He. He was looking to do right. And. And you are not going to be presented with options that are wrong. Very rarely will the Gestapo walk in and go, we're the bad guys. Join us. They, they, their uniforms with a Gestapo were made by Hugo Boss. They were made to look like really great uniforms that you wanted to join these guys. They were the good guys. And so you might have made the mistake of going, well, maybe they're not so bad mistake. But you didn't just choose evil, you chose almost right. Well, they look like good guys almost right. Well, there are some problems they're dealing with almost right. And before you know it, you are 180 degrees in the wrong direction. We are so close to the edge of evil, nobody wants to admit it, but we are there. And it's the tiny little shifts that will land us in the completely wrong direction if we don't consciously choose now which God we serve. This guy was not evil. He was steeped in evil. He had listened to, engaged in, marched with those who had made good evil and evil good. He didn't choose evil, evil chose him. And he chose it every single time. When he chose almost right and before he knew it, you don't know what's up and what's down. And it begins by surrounding yourself with people who believe the ends justify the means. Make no mistake, this is about choosing a God. If you don't choose your God, one will choose you. And it will shape everything, everything in your life. And choosing your God is not a one time prayer whispered in the moment of feeling. It's the most decisive act your will will ever provide you. Daily costly reordering of your entire life around one idea, what is good and eternal. And it will mean that you will stop drifting and you will start directing your life. Because too many of us are just. We're in the passenger seat of our own life. We're being taken places and we think, well, we don't really have control. I don't know. Look what oil's going. It's your choice where you go. How do you order your hours and your thoughts and your heart? Too many of us are just ordering them because it's the loudest thing in the room. Because that's. I got to respond to this right now. Stop, stop. No, you don't. No, you don't. Look at your day today. Look at everything you do and decide which ones you're going to say. No more. No more of this from this moment. I'm not. I'm going to give my life to only things that are absolutely true. And I know they're true because they're eternal principles. My grandmother would walk into the room and she would be like, I'm proud of You. And it begins the instant you refuse to blame anyone or anybody or anything else for where you stand. Not your past, not your circumstances, not the culture, not the economy, not the people who let you down. Blame is the language of the lost. Ownership is the language of the free. Own your life. Stop saying these things are happening to you and I can't control it. Yes, you can. You control the way you respond to all of these things. He can't control this. This shooter couldn't control, you know, what's happening in Washington, but he can control what he does about them. And what he did about them was he got into bed with people who kept preaching, good is evil and evil is good. You need to say, I know who my God is and I know what's eternal. And I know my God is a God of order. And my God is not going to say, go kill that person. We have a God of life, not a God of death. There is a death culture that is going on in all of society. It's a death cult. Choose life. Choose it. This life belongs to me and only me. No one else can change my life except for me. I have steward of my life and over everything I have. I know, I know this sounds almost ridiculously simple, but it is each of us making this choice that will make all of the difference. When we choose to think, when we choose to look at things, when we. We stop saying, I don't know about this. I haven't been following.
Andrew Collette
I don't.
Glenn Beck
You have to follow. It's your personal responsibility as a human being on planet Earth at this time to follow, to think, to get away from the endless distractions. Choose. Choose to live, really live, not as a consumer of life, but as its creator. Your life is being created by you. Look for, read, study, gaze upon. Engage in acts of kindness, in words of wisdom, in words of beauty, moments of genuine connection. Serve your family first. Feed your own soul with good and truth. And then you can serve your friends and your community and a world that is starving for something real. Become fully alive. Trade the wide, easy road of least resistance for the narrow path that leads to life. The climb is really steep, but it makes you stronger. And every sacrifice is met with grace. Every lonely stretch is filled with God. Become the leader in your own story instead of a follower of every passing win. Become the one who stands when others sits, becomes the one who builds when others either want to tear down or only watch. Truth is eternal. And when you choose eternal truth, when you choose the living God who is not about vengeance and Wrath, but is about truth and justice and love and healing. Then the false gods that rule over you lose their power. Their chains fall off. The numbness of your life lifts. The strength rises. Where weakness once lived, peace settles in where you were nothing but a ball of anxiety. And you will discover a freedom no screen, no success, no amount of approval could ever, ever, ever give you. You will face storms that you think, there's no way I could face, that you will face every road with all of its difficulties, and you will never, ever walk it alone. You will have a guide that knows every turn, a father who loves you and delights in you, a savior who's already overcome everything in the world and walks beside you and takes every broken piece of your story and makes it somehow or another breath, painstakingly beautiful. And you're like, how did this happen? I know I've lived. Doesn't seem possible. And it also doesn't seem like an answer. It's. This problem is too big. Too big for who? Too big for me? Yep. Too big for you? Yes. Too big for God. Do you think he's surprised by any of this? He is calling out to us, stop, stop, stop. Choose life. Even if you don't know what that means exactly, you don't choose it perfectly. You just choose it sincerely. It means you have to be willing to say, I may have screwed up my life. Everything I may believe right now may be wrong, but I don't want to live this way anymore. And I just want to find happiness. I just want to find truth. And you'll choose courage over comfort and depth over distraction, responsibility over blame and regret. This guy chose almost right time and time again until he was convinced that he was on the side of God. I want you to know, God's not on my side. He's not on your side. He's not on America's side. We must prepare to be on his side. And that's hard. And you're going to make decisions that you don't want to do. You're going to say, I don't want to believe that. I don't want to say that. I don't want to stand there. I don't want to be quiet. I want to be mad. But you have to take ownership. You have to take the wheel you have to step into the woman or the man you were designed to be. You were made for this. You are the key to all of this. We can blame this on a whole bunch of people. I take the blame for this in everything that I have done and not done in my life. And if we all start there, maybe, maybe we can save ourselves. But the choice is yours. Make the choice. The ends don't justify the means. They never do. Nobody's ever done anything to you that is worth a hill of beans. Doesn't matter what's happened to you. It doesn't matter. Once you know who you really are and once you know what God you actually serve, then you become a masterpiece of grace and purpose and unshakable joy. And this stuff will stop. I urge you, please, today begin. Choose your God carefully. Back in a minute. Our sponsor, this half hours Chapter. If you're about to turn 65, there's a good chance the government won't even finish saying welcome to Medicare before your email box explodes your mailbox. You'll get letters and postcards and offers and robot calls and commercials and a parade of strangers all telling you they have the perfect plan for you. It'll feel like Shark Week with all the brochures and the problems that come. You need clarity. But all you'll get is noise. That's why I want to tell you about chapter. CHAPTER will help you sort through all the Medicare options and find a plan that actually fits your doctors and your prescriptions and your budgets and your real life. Okay, not whatever plan has the loudest commercial. Last year alone, Chapter has helped members of this audience save over $1.5 million just by finding better fitting plans. And it's not just about saving money. Mark in Arizona, he was having trouble getting access to a heart specialist. Chapter. He called them. He listened to me. He called them. He, he was. Helped navigate all of the options. He said they were absolutely spectacular. He got the treatment he needed. Look, the call is free. Dial pound 250. Say the keyword, chapter. Pound 250. Keyword chapter. Do it now. 10 seconds. Station ID. So Ricky is saying that the insiders are angry at me because I am suggesting. I'm not suggesting, I'm stating that he's not evil, Been seduced by evil, and he was living manifesting evil. That doesn't make him evil. It makes the situation. If we start to see people, people and we say they're evil, well, I'm never going to be. I'm never going to be evil. I'm never going to be evil because I'm not evil. I'm not an evil person. Do you see the delusion that gives you? I'm not going to be evil, but if I understand that evil is constantly working to seduce us. Oh, wait a Minute I could be evil, I could quickly become evil. If I'm not paying attention, if I'm just letting some things slide, if I am sitting like he did, he was going to places where the ends justify the means, where he was constantly told that this is fascism. No, this is not fascism. You don't even know what fascism is. But he's constantly being seduced and you don't. When you have an evil person, you're either born that way, which I don't believe any baby is born evil, but you're either born that way or what happens, you are constantly seduced or trained and suddenly you believe. Now, some people, I guess, want to be evil, think they're evil, want to be evil, that's fine. This guy didn't read his manifest. He thought he was doing good, he was doing evil. I say that he wasn't evil to bring this clear in all of our minds. Evil is not as obvious as you think it is. It starts slowly and it seduces and it wants all of us, all of us. If you want to just say, well, there's evil people, then you're never in danger because you're not an evil person and neither am I. And I don't know an evil baby, I don't know an evil child. It is the society and it is the seduction of evil that is pulling us into a very dangerous place. More in just a second. Let me tell you about Relief Factor. by joining the Torch community at glennbeck.com torch. I wish I could come to you today and say this guy was crazy. I wish I could come to you today and say this guy was just evil, out of his mind. He was a lone wolf, but he's not. He's more terrifying. He is absolutely doing the bidding of evil. In the old days, we would have said he was possessed, but he has been so convinced that Donald Trump is a child molester or whatever that he actually thought he was Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He actually thought he was doing the right thing. And that, to me, that is more terrifying than somebody, you know, swallow. He knows he's not a good guy, okay? He knows he's doing wrong, okay? He's just getting away with it, and he doesn't care. That is. That's. That's the road to perdition. I mean, that's just, you know, that's a son of perdition. What scares me are these people who just are so convinced that what they're doing is right and righteous. I mean, that's how you get the Nazis. You know, a lot of them thought they were doing the right thing, and those people are much more terrifying to me. Um, and. And you got the press. They're doing what the press is doing. Uh, but now also, let's look at social media immediately. There was this thing that. This was a setup. Again. This was just another setup. Selena Zito is with us. She is a reporter for the national examiner and one of my favorite writers. She gets America unlike anybody else because she drives from town to town. She doesn't fly and she doesn't take the freeways. She drives through the back parts of our states, and so she learns about what people are really feeling and seeing. She happened to be there at Butler, Pennsylvania. It had to be a little eerie for you, Selina, to see this again.
Selina Zito
You know, it really. Well, first of all, thanks for having me on, Glenn. And I've got to say, since the Butler people don't know this, I was a few feet away from the President. I was supposed to fly with him to Bedminster right after that rally. So they had positioned me to be ready to go right afterwards. And so when I heard those gunshots, I sort of have put that moment behind me in Butler. I didn't know where I tucked it away, but it came out Saturday night because, well, as soon as I heard those shots, I was all the things that I never allowed myself to feel that moment because I kept working in Butler. I kept writing, I kept taking pictures. I never got down until they shoved me down on top. You know, they went on top of me and took me down because I wouldn't get down. And so I, you know, just brought back a lot about that day.
Glenn Beck
I've been talking about how this guy is not crazy, and I don't think he's. I mean, I think he was doing evil, but he was convinced that he was doing good. He is. He is somebody who has bought into all of these lies, and I'm terrified of him because of how many others think like he does now, that they think that they're doing good. And that, to me, that is much more terrifying than saying, here's an evil guy over there. See what the evil guy did. Oh, no, no. He thought he was good.
Selina Zito
No, he did. He thought he was righteous. And that is even more unnerving. You know, there is a thing that happens in American politics today that. That used to be subtle, right? Inference used to be subtle. It's not subtle anymore. We, our politicians use words like fascist and Nazi and rapist and pedophile, as common as any other word to describe someone, only they use it to describe President Trump and. Or anyone who supports him and. Or anyone that is a Republican. So it puts layers of people in harm's way. You know, I tweeted this this morning. I was at a recent no Kings rally. And what I found the most disturbing was the willingness of elected Democrats in Pittsburgh to go in front of a crowd that had signs about killing Trump or 86ing him. Right. And like violent posters. Right. Being held up by thousands of people. And they were unwilling to say, that's not right. They were unwilling to call it out because they don't want to lose a vote. And I find that morally depraved. And I'm not gonna not call it out anymore.
Glenn Beck
Good. Good. None of us should be silent on this.
Selina Zito
No.
Glenn Beck
One of the things that really scares me, Selina, is it's now not just the press, now it is social media. And we have so much propaganda coming in. We know. From China, from Russia and Iran. Yeah, we know. And they will use any. They don't care. They will divide us on anything they can divide us on. And I. This, you know, this is going to be conspiracy central. They're going to make this guy into a good guy. They're going to make him into, hey, look, he really was apologetic. And everything else He, I'm afraid Van Jones is right on this one, that he's going to be looked at as a hero, but even more so that this is just another conspiracy.
Selina Zito
Oh, you know, nothing boils my blood more to see, to have seen in the past people saying Butler was staged there. No one panicked. Well, guess what? No one panicked in a room full of journalists either. Because when a situation like that happens, you tend to freeze in the moment and you don't fall apart and panic. So. And I saw it immediately with this, like, they didn't even take a breath. And this became known, it circulated on social media, that it was staged. And here's the thing that I think you're really hitting on that is really important, Glenn, and that is that there is evil among us. There are people who believe they are righteous and have sort of this lust to be a hero and save the world. But, but that responsibility of the words used by politicians, that dehumanizes someone. You know, Donald Trump is not thought of as a human by like 50% of the people in this country.
Glenn Beck
I know, I know, I know. Neither is his wife. My gosh, can you imagine what Melania. Oh, my gosh, please, can we leave these people alone? Anyway, go ahead.
Selina Zito
You know, the thing, couple of things that brought me back to Butler that were good, and that was the president saying, I want the show goes on. We got to do this.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, I know.
Selina Zito
And, and, and if you read my book, Butler, there's this. He called me seven times the next day. And one of the things that he said is he wanted to go back onto that rally, first of all. But also we talked about why he said, fight, fight, fight. And everybody has sort of a theory, right? But he told me point blank, he said, I wasn't Donald Trump then. I represented the office of the presidency of the United States, and it was my obligation to show strength. If I would have been carted out there on a stretcher or if they even would have let me leave without my shoes on, that does not live up to what the presidency means. And so when people think I said fight, fight, fight for any kind of reason, I was saying it because I. That is what our. That's the ethos of American exceptionalism. That's what America stands for, and I have that obligation. And that's what he was thinking Saturday night, too. The show must go on. Got to do it.
Glenn Beck
And you know what? There is something to be said. You know, you can't fake like, like Pete Hegseth, you know, cover covering his wife when there's an active shooter covering his wife. You can't fake that. You just are who you are. At those moments, it comes out, Donald Trump is just a. He is cut from a completely different cloth. He is not afraid. Even when he was down on the ground, I heard the head of the, the dinner say, he was saying, we're not afraid. We're just, we're going to do it. Let's, let's continue on.
Selina Zito
Yeah.
Glenn Beck
He just wants to show nothing will stop me because we're the United States of America. I'm not the president. We're the United States of America, and we do not cower. That's an amazing, that's an amazing trait to have in an individual.
Selina Zito
It really is. And it's something that has been missing among American presidents. I would, I would not say that about George W. Bush. He was very much about the country being strong. But, you know, under Biden and under Obama, we coward. You know, figuratively tiny, thousands of little cuts of cowering. Right. And Trump wants, I mean, that's part of him. That's his ethos. That's his moral center. Right. We are strong. We are America.
Katie Pavlich
Right.
Selina Zito
We don't back down when someone attacks us. We stand up to it, and that's what, that's why he does what he does. People will make a caricature of it. People will make fun of it. Those are the people that don't understand it and don't appreciate it. I'm not quite sure this is. This is like a patriotism that is far beyond waving a flag or dressing
Katie Pavlich
in red, white and blue.
Selina Zito
This is understanding what America is supposed to mean.
Glenn Beck
Selina, what does. Because you have such a good finger on the pulse of America, have you been able to distill anything yet to say? I think this is what's going to come out of this. Is anything going to come out of this, or is this just another notch on the post?
Selina Zito
Here's another thing that is a reminder of Butler. On the day, the day, two days after Butler, I went to my granddaughter's soccer game and I saw moms who I would have never thought suburban moms with, with Trump hats on. And I asked one of them, and this is in the book, Butler, so this is not what I expected from you. And she said, oh, I've always been a Trump supporter, but if he can take a bullet for me, I can wear a hat. And so yesterday, once again, I found myself at a soccer game, and the amount of people wearing red, white and blue was really, really interesting. It's not that it's that close to Memorial Day, because it's not. It's not that close to the Fourth of July. Right? This. This was. People tell you who they are, not always with, you know, yelling or screaming or attending a rally or whatever, but it's. It's not. And it's not just in their comportment. They. They give you hints that this is who I am. Come at me and say if you're going to say something. But I. You know, my spine is stronger because of what happened the day before.
Glenn Beck
And what. What do you think the press takes away? Anything change there?
Selina Zito
Well, probably not. And that's. That's so disappointing. You know, they didn't change after. After Butler, and there were plenty of them there. I suspect there's going to be a couple here and there that are going to have a different worldview. They should. That was incredibly scary to see that happen, to watch it happen, but I don't think so. It makes me so sad to say that. I don't want to say that, but the reality is, I don't think anything will change.
Glenn Beck
Selena, always good to talk to you. Thank you so much.
Selina Zito
Thank you.
Glenn Beck
God bless.
Selina Zito
Thank you, Glenn.
Glenn Beck
Thank you, Selena. Zito. All right. Let me tell you about the burner launcher. Unless you're an action hero, self defense is one of those things, you know, you rarely have to think about. You know, when it does, the question becomes really simple. Am I prepared for any of this? Have I even thought this through? Do I have a way to create distance? Do I have a way to protect myself or my family? Most real life threats are really messy. It's an aggressive stranger that just won't back off. The person who keeps following you at close distance. An unstable guy who picks you out for no reason. And that's why I want you to know about Burna. It's a less lethal launcher that fires powerful pepper and kinetic rounds from a distance so you can protect yourself without having to make it a life or death decision in a split second. Legal in all 50 states. No permit is required. Required that matters. Personal safety should be practical, accessible, and something you have with you when you need it. And as long as you're over 18, there's no gray area on anything. Perfectly 100% legal without permits or anything else. I want you to check out a burner launcher. Go to by r n a dot com berna dot com GLENLEARNMORE you can try before you buy at a Sportsman's warehouse near you. Find that location at byrna b y r n a berna.com/glenn, you show up, you work hard, you speak the truth. Even when it ain't popular, that still counts for something. Back. We'll be right back. Foreign. You never guess who just walked into the room. Curtis Lewa. I'm, I'm, I'm here in New York City this week. Curtis, how are you, sir?
Curtis Lewa
Who else would you see walking in from the subways, the streets, right into the studios of Glenn Beck?
Glenn Beck
Yeah, it's, it's good to see you, but the, the city is in trouble. Oh, huge trouble.
Curtis Lewa
Although I first heard you in Connecticut, Glenn Beck, when I was going through Connecticut.
Glenn Beck
Really?
Curtis Lewa
That's when I first heard. I said, man, this guy is going places. And boy, was I right.
Glenn Beck
What a liar. He is very good.
Curtis Lewa
I'm a politician.
Glenn Beck
I know, I know, I know.
Curtis Lewa
Kiss babies, you shake hands, you're a politician, which means you're very good at lying.
Glenn Beck
So I'd love to have you back because I only have a couple of minutes here, but I just. What is the, what's the reaction to him so far? I mean, is it. I mean, it's. Because it seems crazy. Is, is this going to fall apart on him or.
Curtis Lewa
Well, Zohan Mandami, remember, it's a change, a generational change. Millennials and Gen Z is the majority baby boomers like me, Glenn. We're no longer the majority. So as AOC said, all out crazy. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. It's a generational change and they prove that every day. He won a primary against Andrew Evilized Cuomo, the dystopian in Canada, and then I got pushed aside by my own party with Trump and Elon Musk. A vote for Sliwa is a vote for Zormandami. How did that work out with Andrew a second time?
Glenn Beck
I know.
Curtis Lewa
So, no, we're going to have to suffer. There are consequences for elections. And I tell everybody you didn't vote for me right now. You must suffer.
Glenn Beck
You must suffer. Curtis, always good to see you. We'll talk to you later. Thank you so much. All right, back with more in just a second. More on Erica Kirk and what she experienced this weekend at the White House Correspondents Dinner. All coming up. One of the most frustrating parts of hearing loss is it can make you really feel disconnected without ever announcing itself. You're still in the room, you're still nodding along, still showing up, but you're working a lot harder just to keep up. And sometimes you're guessing more than you'd like to admit and you're just hoping don't ask me anything because I don't know what we're talking about anymore. What stops a lot of people from doing anything about it is not denial, it's the process. It's the doctor appointments, the multiple visits, the adjustments, the price tag that makes you go, how, what so people wait and you shouldn't have to. Audien was built to remove those barriers. They have the atomic. It is an over the counter hearing aid designed to be straightforward and approachable without prescriptions or complicated setups. Years ago I went to the White House Correspondents dinner. This is probably 2010 and honestly I felt like I was in a Lifetime movie. You know, I felt like, you know, I went back to the hotel with my wife and I said I feel like I need to, you know, take a shower. I just walk, you know, rock back and forth on the floor of the shower. Just trying to get clean and not being able to get clean. It was such a disgusting, despicable thing. I haven't gone back since. Andrew Colvette, he is is the spokesperson for Turning Point usa executive producer of Charlie Kirk Show. He was there for the first time. Imagine first time being Charlie Kirk's one of his best friends and with Charlie's wife at the table. And this is your experience. Andrew joins me in just a couple of seconds. First, let me tell you about Patriot Mobile. Sometimes in life you really don't have a chance choice on who you do business with. You know, you do business with, with, you know, whoever is, is there at the table. When it comes to, you know, choosing the power company or whatever, the water company, you don't get a choice. But with wireless service that is your call now. And if you're paying a big mobile phone company every month just to watch them turn around and support causes you don't believe in, why do you keep doing that? I mean you're seeing where this money is, is now going, stop, stop, stop, stop. Switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile offers dependable nationwide coverage, all three major networks. You're not sacrificing service to Switch. What you are doing is moving your money towards a Company that actually supports the first Amendment, the second amendment, sanctity of life, Christian values, all of these things that built the country. Andrew Collette
I'm doing all right, thank you. Yes.
Glenn Beck
I got to tell you, man, my wife and I, we saw the video of Erica going out crying.
Andrew Collette
Yeah.
Glenn Beck
And I just leave this poor woman alone. Can people leave her alone? Anybody who is saying, oh, she planned the death and everything, she's obviously it. She obviously, she left there so distraught. This she has not even been allowed to grieve. It's so clearly just below the surface. It I felt for all of you guys. I didn't know you were there, Andrew.
Andrew Collette
Yeah, well, you said in your open that I was at the same table. I wasn't actually. I was probably about 10, 12 tables away. But Glenn, this place was so packed in. I mean, the fire marshal should have a heyday with this place. You could not get through there really, even, you know, before the chaos broke out. It was so jam packed. But you know, I tried after everything kind of cleared up. I mean, you know, where to start with this story is a question, Glenn. But basically, you know, you hear everybody ducking for cover. You know, you heard some loud bangs, but you know, in that room there was such a cacophony of noises that it was kind of indiscernible. And then you see people ducking for cover. You know, our table got underneath the table as well, you know, and we're hiding underneath the the tablecloth. And right over on my chair, I was sitting next to Harmeet Dylan, you know, the Secret Service was climbing on our chairs and it was Harmeet was kind of had her head a little bit higher and one of the Secret Service guys actually stepped on her head. So she got bruised by these guys trying to get by our table. So she had a little welt on her head just from getting stepped on. That's how tight it was. As soon as everything kind of cleared up though, you know, the question was, did Trump get hit? Did JD get hit? Did somebody get shot? And we just couldn't hear it because it was so loud. So everybody, you know, room full of reporters, everybody's trying to figure out who got hurt and what happened. And you know, I happen to be at the table next to Philip Wegman who's now with the Wall Street Journal, used to be a real clear and Washington Examiner. So I've known him for years. I was like, phil, what happened? And he had. He had eyes on President Trump getting escorted off. So at least I kind of knew that instantly. I beelined over for Erica's table, and, you know, it was interesting. I ran into Harris Faulkner and Martha McCallum, and they. They were like, no, Erica got taken out. She's. She was escorted out by security. And Paris Faulkner was like, I was under the table with Erica. We were. We were praying together, you know, and so that was the moment. And, you know, and to your earlier point, Glenn, it's like, oh, she's. It was all staged. It's like, you know. Yeah, it was all. It was all just some giant emotional production, guys. That's. That's really what we're. That's what we were doing. We were playing 5, 7d chess with everybody, and we just staged some Democrat who, you know, took a train across the country and assembled his weapons in his hotel room and teacher of the month and all this stuff that. We just did it. So first, empathy points. You guys are real, real smart out there. Real, real brilliant thinking. I mean, literally, the level of just idiocy and brain rot and just. I don't even know what to make of it. But there is such a desire to believe some sort of, you know, wild conspiracy, regardless of what the story is, Glenn, because, you know, sometimes the truth just isn't emotionally satisfying or psychologically satisfying enough for so many people, and it's just really disgusting. I was in that room. My heart was pounding through my chest. Everybody was shaken up. You know, I'm not saying here I'm traumatized, Glenn. I wasn't there on, you know, when Charlie was killed at uvu. Obviously, I didn't see anything crazy here. It was just, you know, because it was the floor above and outside the ballroom. But I will tell you, it was scary in that room, and everybody was shaken up. And so I'm just kind of disgusted, to be honest, that, like, whether it's the left or some fringe, right, crazy people that are still cannot be convinced that, like, hey, there's bad people in the world. A lot of them happen to be on the left, and they want to kill people.
Glenn Beck
So what is this going to mean? I mean, I know Erica and the vice President were supposed to speak this week together. Is that going to go on how. What does this mean for future events, not just for you, but for any of it?
Andrew Collette
Yeah, I Mean, listen, I think details are still getting work worked out, you know, that the. I think when it came to University of Georgia, you know, we weren't really coordinated as closely as we could have been with the Secret Service. When JD's in an event. Right. We kind of take care of our own security, we kind of take care of our own travel and to and fro. I think that's one of the ideas that maybe we can coordinate better to make sure, you know, Erica's got a full detail and just kind of ride in with jd. So that's kind of one of the things. I mean, listen, every event's different. Every event has its own security precautions and protocols that we need to put in place. And so I don't want to make any broad generalizations or grand statements, but, yeah, I mean, it's, It's. It's a terrifying reality. I mean, when we, we had the University of Georgia event where Erica had to step out, I was grateful to step in and I was glad to do it. Honored to do it. You know, there was. Oh, well, if JD can get there and Erica can't, you know, they must have been lying or something.
Glenn Beck
Oh, my God. He has Secret Service and Secret Service. Let me tell you something. Even my own family, when you have a key man who is on the. The person, the protectorate, they don't look around for others. Their job is to get that one person out. Secret Service is to get the Vice President out. It doesn't matter who's standing next to him. Their job is to get him to security because of the Republic. For the love of Pete, people, use your stinking brains.
Andrew Collette
Glenn, in that instance. And I actually appreciate your anger. The whole thing is so infuriating. The, you know, the, the issue wasn't necessarily the venue. The Secret Service had been there, like, clearing the venue, getting her to and fro. She was getting doxed, like, actively by a bunch of accounts that were, you know, that, that was the real issue with the travel. But anyway, doesn't matter that.
Glenn Beck
Does she, does she want to continue to do this, Andrew? I mean, how much?
Andrew Collette
Yeah, I mean, listen, she's, she's, she is absolutely committed to. And I don't want to put words in Erica's mouth. I think she's going to, she's probably going to kind of clarify what this event has meant to her, you know, at some point this week and kind of where her head's at. So I don't want to speak for her, but, you know, actually she's completely committed and devoted to, you know, fulfilling Charlie's legacy and mission. And none of that has changed, obviously. This was, you know, this was a triggering experience in more ways than one. And it wasn't just her as well. You know, there was. Mikey was at the event, and Mikey was just a few feet away from Charlotte uvu. And I know this was hard for him, too. And it's, you know, so in some. In some ways, I'm the lucky one, you know, if you could call it that. Where I haven't been up close to those events, and I've had to live with the fallout, certainly, but it's not hitting some, you know, deep sort of mental image. So I'm grateful for that. But listen, this whole thing is terrible, and I just think that we've got to do something because the, you know, our side thinks everything's Mossad or the Jews or whatever, and at least not the fringy folks on our side. And then we're still dealing with a radicalized, mainstreamed, violent assassination culture that is rising up on the left. And I think that's the most terrifying thing about this, Glenn, is you've got. This guy was a fairly normie, indiscernible and indistinguishable from so many of the other voices that you hear on the night news. And that's the real issue here. And you've got Hassan Piker talking about we need to soak the streets in capitalist blood. And you've got, you know, they want to talk about social murder with the New York Times straight out of angles in the 1800s. And we shouldn't be surprised when they are wrapping themselves in ideological pretzels to justify murder. Culture of conservatives. You got Destiny, who's a popular online leftist who says that conservatives, this is right after Charlie's assassination, need to be terrified about going out in public like, this is what we're up against. And so to the fringy folks on the right, not everything is Mossad or the Jews. So they're like crazies on the left. You need to stop, okay? You need to stop exacerbating everything and blaming Trump for your own actions. This is. I mean, this is the problem is they're not.
Glenn Beck
They're not gonna. They're not gonna. They're not gonna stop. The leaders won't stop because this is the chaos they want. They know they are trying to collapse the Republic. They're not just trying to kill Donald Trump or something. They're trying to collapse the United States of America and the Republic, period. So they're not gonna stop. It's the normal people that are listening to this that are marching with the no Kings rallies and all of this stuff, they gotta stop. You've got to wake up and notice that you are surrounded by people who want to destroy the Republic, who want to bring this whole thing down. They're not against Donald Trump and his policies. They are against capitalism, the free market system, and the United States of America, period. Wake the hell up. Stop it. Stop it. Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you.
Andrew Collette
Yeah, no, I'm with you. I'm with you in spirit. And I think there's a righteous indignation that all of us should feel because, listen, when we have political movements, and you saw it that night, you just walk outside of the Washington Hilton and there's literal signs that says, death to tyrants. This is how mainstream this has all been. And you've got real mainstream elected leaders on the Democrat Party that speak at these no Kings rallies. If you look at some of the signs, there's murder in the signs, being advocated in the signs. So they've been normalizing this for years. And, you know, it's. We really. You have to realize they're not going to stop, because if they do, if they say anything, and your name's not John Fetterman, if you say anything, you'll instantly get primary. Right. And John Fetterman will get primary to. You know, there. There was a. There was a moment with John Fetterman and Erica that I heard about where, you know, he was pretty emotional, and he just apologized for whatever he could. I mean, he didn't need to, but it was a. I mean, there are glimmers of hope. And. Yeah, that was dirt. After everything happened, an emotional moment. And I. Yeah, good. For John Fetterman. That's a. That's a real moment. So it's. It's depressing, but it's. We got to do better. Glenn.
Glenn Beck
Please pass on everybody. Matt TP usa. All of our hearts and prayers are with you. My. I think about you guys all the time, and I pray for you all the time.

Thank you.
Glenn Beck
And Erica and all of you, with so much respect. Andrew, God bless you.
Andrew Collette
God bless you, Glenn. Thank you.
Glenn Beck
You bet. All right. I. I tell you, I've reached out to John Fetterman a couple of times just to say, you know, we don't agree on a lot of stuff, but you have. You have been a remarkable man and very, very brave. He's going to be. Primarily, he will never win again. And it's interesting to me that somebody who just says common sense stuff that is a Democrat who doesn't agree with me. I mean, I'm not going to vote for John Fetterman, but who is just a Democrat, is so chased out of their own party. They can't have anybody who is at all not a radical. They must have radicals in there. And that's the number one thing Democrats. You know, you're not an innocent bystander at this point. There's too much evidence. There's just too much evidence. You're not an innocent bystander. These people want to destroy the United States of America. If you want a violent destruction of your country, you just keep going down this road. Keep going. We'll do everything we can to stop it. We'll do everything we can to, to warn and to beg and to plead and to vote. But you just keep going down with these radicals and you will get everything. Your children and your grandchildren will suffer for generations. Anybody who loses freedom like this will not get it back for at least three generations. Your children and your grandchildren will suffer under Marxism and fascism and death and squalor. And you will be responsible for it. Wake up. Back in just a minute. Let me tell you about rough greens. I'm sorry, I should not be sorry, but I've had enough. All right, Let me tell you, there's a difference between feeding your dog and really nourishing your dog. Usually you just pour the food in the bowl, you give them pat on the head and you assume you handle it. But a lot of dry food for dogs loses all of its important nutrients during processing. It's the ultra processed food. You know this. You would never feed ultra ultra processed food three meals a day to your kids ever and expect them to be healthy. Why do we do this to our dog? You need a daily nutritional supplement to add to your dog's food. And that's what rough greens is. It's not a dog food replacement. It fortifies what you're already feeding them, gives them the vitamins and minerals, probiotics, mega oils and all the beneficial ingredients to help support energy and digestion and healthy coat and all of that. There is a difference. More energy, more enthusiasm. Just a younger seeming dog. Honestly. It's ruff greens. Ruff greens.com Glenn rough greens.com make sure you go there. I want to tell you earlier today, I told you that this guy is not evil. I'm not going to repeat his name. I don't want to make him famous. He's not evil. He's scarier than evil. He thinks he was good. He was absolutely doing the bidding of evil. He was doing evil. But he had been caught up into listening to people who have made evil good and good evil. And he has marched with the no Kings rally. He's done it all. And he was saying all the same things you're hearing from all the political pundits, all of the politicians, frankly, most of the people in the media. And he believed it 100%. And he was convinced that he's going to do God's work and he's going to kill the President of the United States. States. That is more terrifying than somebody who's just crazy. That's more terrifying than somebody who's evil. That's, that's more terrifying because that person can sit right next to you. He is part of something called the Wide Awakes. And in a very wild coincidence, in fact, I don't. I wonder if it is a coincidence or did I have pre knowledge of this because how would I have this artifact with me? Friday I'm in my office in Dallas and sitting on my desk is a metal from the wide awakes from 1860. And it was something that they would wear and it was sitting on my desk and I thought I have got to go put this back in the vault. And, and so I pick it up, I put it in my pocket. I'm going to bring it back the vault. I get waylaid. Next day I'm, you know, put my jacket on and I reach in and there is the Wide Awake medal. And so I have it with me now in New York because on Saturday I left and, and then I hear about the shooting and I hear about this guy being part of the Wide Awakes. Well, if you're watching, you can see the metal that I, that I have. And this is, this is it. This is the, the star that went with it. The Wide Awakes. And it has the all seeing eye of God and then the clouds of, of God representing, you know, the, the Moses, the pillar of fire and the clouds that follow. And what the Wide awakes were in 1860 were a group of young men who were actually protecting speakers because if you were speaking out about abolition, you were, you were in trouble. You know, try to be Erica Kirk today. Go ahead, speak. And there was nobody protecting them. And so these guys got together and they Said, we'll protect the speakers that are for freedom. And so they started wearing these black oil capes and they would march at night. And they actually were. Some people would say they really kind of sparked, helped push the Civil War because there was a million of them and they were drilling, you know, they were marching in parades at night. And the south was saying, look, they're building an army. But they weren't an army. But that's what this guy was part of. There is a new Wide Awake group that's not about abolition. They've taken something good and perverted it into, well, we're just marching against the fascists. We're marching against the pedophiles. This guy, this is why I said, you know, be very, very careful. He didn't make a wrong choice. He made an almost right choice. Join the Wide Awakes. Well, I know about those. Those guys are good. No, not anymore. Not anymore. It's perversion of things that have been good. All right, More in just a second. Let me tell you. Super sure Insurance Agency llc, a licensed insurance agency. Is there anything too far for the the Mouse House? Anything, anything at all that you won't put up with? Now? Write this down. Let me tell a little story about ABC Disney tomorrow. Write that down. Don't let me forget. I mean, I can, I could play these over and over and over and over and over again and I've got a ton of them, a ton of them. And nothing's going to change. We have to change. But you're not watching isolated tragedies anymore. You're not, you know, you're watching a pattern. It's deadly, it's accelerating and it's a pattern of political violence coming from the American left. Period. Period. Three attempts on President Trump's life. Two years, three attempts. One of them, the latest walks into the White House correspondence dinner with a manifesto. What does he say? Donald Trump is a pedophile. He's a rapist. He's a traitor. Lays out the rule of engagement to kill administration officials. Where have I heard all of this? Wherever I heard all of it. He was a Harris donor. He was radicalized right in front of everybody. His own family sought and warned law enforcement. That wasn't enough. Charlie Kirk has been gunned down. Cold blood College campus. 22 year old, swallowed exactly the same poison. I've had enough of this hatred. I've got to stop it. One bullet, one promising conservative leader erased because his words were labeled fascistic. This is not random and it's not mental health. This is the direct, predictable result of years, years of elites telling the youth all the things that are absolutely untrue and they're not just wrong in doing it. It is evil. They are creating existential threats. Well, they're fascist. That's the existential. They're Pedophiles in power, we gotta stop them. Any means necessary. You know, there was a piece in Mother Jones in 2022, and I think it just. It just came out again. Some psychiatrist, Brandy X. Lee. It went main mainstream at the time. And it. It was really kind of the beginning of just framing Trump and the right as walking dangers. Who would just unleash violence in the country? Who's unleashed it? Who's unleashed it? She said, well, you know. Well, you know what? This is Trump. This natural consequences of his own rhetoric. Think about how gross this inversion is. People screaming that Trump incites violence have now produced three assassination attempts on him and a successful hit on Charlie Kirk. The blood is on your rhetoric. And if we don't reverse this trend more and more and more, and the next target's not going to be the president or campus speaker. It might be your mayor, it might be your school board member, it might be your pastor, it might be your neighbor. Who dares speak against the prevailing narrative. It might be you or one of your kids just standing up. Security. Security perimeters. How thick do we have to make them? How many events do we have to cancel? When does free speech. When is it free? When it has to hide behind meta metal detectors, fear and in White House ballrooms. You want the President to really be out of touch with people. Yeah. Make sure he has to live behind bulletproof glass his entire time in office. I mean, this republic survived the Civil War. Does it survive a sniper's rifle at a public event this time? All of these people, all of these people who are going to pay a price. Our kids are going to pay a price. My kids, who watch Charlie Kirk bleed out on a stage. Your kids being taught that political disagreement justifies murder. And ultimately every single American, because we. We can't either. We can't even gather together anywhere and be safe. Stop with the mostly peaceful crap. Stop it. No more talk of resistance. Words have consequences. I have to own my words. Every single day. Every single day, I have to own every word I say. I'm called into question and I have been for 25 years. It's time to turn the tables. Own your own words. You know, Cole Allen's sister, she owned them. She alerted police. His brother, he owned them. They weren't even his words. He called police. He saw what that meant. She saw what that meant. Charlie Kirk's shooter. Mom. The mom saw. I'm sorry. Secret Service. I have a great deal of respect for you, but I don't know what the hell's going on with you. I don't. I don't understand this. I really don't. Donald Trump trusts you. I don't. I don't. I want to, but I just don't see. I. I just. I don't know. I just don't see the passion there of figuring things out. I'm tired of the two tiered blindness. And we live in an outrage economy. And that's why I've apologized maybe three times today for being outraged and raising my voice. Because I don't want to be that. I don't want to. I don't want anything to do with it anymore. I don't want anything to do with it. It. I've. I've always tried not to play into it. I've tried to be a decent human being. I've tried to tell you the truth. I am a passionate guy. But. Enough is enough. And each of us, you have to turn off the voices that profit from civil war, because there's a lot of people that are profiting off a civil war. They are telling you the only way out is civil war in one way or another. That's what they're telling you. I'm telling you. You want the most misery you could possibly imagine, you go ahead and start a civil war. It will be misery for generations. Global misery. You want to fix America? I'm with you. You want to tear America down? I'm not with you. Nobody with any sanity, nobody who has taken five minutes to actually think could be with you. You tear down the United States of America. Do you know what kind of chaos the world goes into? Do you know what kind of horror shows just show up? Our children are beginning to think that ideas are fought better with bullets than with speech. I know. You do this, I do this. Anybody who crosses over into violence or violent rhetoric, I disown them immediately, without reservation, I disown them immediately. There's no both side ism. It's not. The pattern that's happening right now is asymmetric. We're in asymmetric warfare right now. And the more we ignore it, the worse it'll get. Look what's happening to us. We're turning into. Yeah, but social media is going to make us better. What's the name of that. What's the name of that guy who we were just talking about, Jason? The.
Jason (Secret Service Expert)
The Hasan Piker.
Glenn Beck
Hasan Piker. Who the hell is this guy? Who the hell is this guy? He is calling. He is online calling for capitalist blood to run in the streets. He is calling for politicians to be Killed. And the New York Times just did a profile on him, like, no big deal. This guy is seen in pictures. He helped mom Donnie get elected. Somehow or another, this guy is right in the band. Any, any, any political pundit, any, anybody, anybody who is involved in any of this stuff and lets that go by without saying, him or me, him or me. You cannot have his support. And my support. You want his support, you're on your own. I'm out. You don't start standing up on things like that. You have no place to go. You are responsible for what is coming. Period. There are no spectators. I've been saying this for a long time. There's not going to be a single spectator in the seat. Everybody's going to be on the field. Your silence is buying admission to which side you're going to be on. And you're going to be fighting it. And you're going to think, you know, this guy. Over the weekend, he thought he was on the right side. Why? Because he was hanging out with all these people who were just juicing him up. We can keep pouring gasoline on the fire and then act shock, act shocked the next time the shot rings out again, you know, but I know you. You know me. I choose life. I choose truth. I choose the Republic. And I would suggest that the Democrats start doing that before it's too late. Now, I want to talk to Jason when we come back about what happened with the Secret Service because he's been in situations like most people don't know. Jason works for me. He's been my chief researcher for a while, but he was also on my detail for a while, protecting me. And he had been on some very large details. One was a very important governor of the United States years back and dealt with a situation almost exactly like this that Donald Trump was going through. And I wanted to get his opinion on what exactly happened. What's going on with the Secret Service. Is this the way it should be handled? More in just a second. First, Rapid Radios. Jason, I have profound, you know me, I have profound respect for the Secret Service and our, our men in blue. But I don't know what to think about the Secret Service anymore. I mean, I just don't see any big changes. I don't see, I mean, how as somebody who has done this for a living, you did it for a major governor who was constantly under threat. Is this the way it should have happened?
Jason (Secret Service Expert)
You know, I'm seeing reports, I was reading this one description from Bill Milligan from Fox and what he described was, you know, the first exterior security. This is almost quoting from him, said it was on the street outside the hotel. Said he just flashed his ticket. They didn't even really look at it, nor check his name on a list. They just flashed him in that first, you know, security level. I saw other people describing very similar scenarios where there was no layered security like normal, which is wild because that's not how, I mean, I learned how to do some of these like, you know, like you mentioned before, like a governor at a hotel, very similar. I learned how to do these things from the Secret Service. It was their policies. It just, it's not done this way. Even security staff will have a layered risk on areas. Hallways have other layered access levels and there's multiple, like depending on how big the venue is, four or five layers out and it's clearly marked. I don't know how a guest like this could get into that area, get so close without being spotted a mile away, multiple different levels back. It makes no sense to me. This is not how we would have done it back then on a governor level. So I don't understand, I don't know if there's, if they're, you know, having staffing issues. Funding issues.
Glenn Beck
How could you possibly have staffing issues?
Jason (Secret Service Expert)
I don't know.
Glenn Beck
I mean, if they have funding issues, that should be front pay. This is the Republic. Never again can we have all of the. All of the cabinet members in the same room now. You can't do that anymore. Somebody could have gone in and shot.
Andrew Collette
Who?
Glenn Beck
Chuck Grassley could have been our president today. Okay, not a good idea. And I like Chuck. I don't want him as our president, but that could have happened.
Jason (Secret Service Expert)
You know, it's easy to back to Monday morning quarterback some of these things, and I could be wrong on just the perception of it. So I would. But I would love for a full breakdown from the director of the Secret Service to say this is what broke down, if at all. I would love to see that and
Glenn Beck
see if I'm wrong. But I. The only hope that I have is I've talked to President Trump about it over and over and over again, and he's like, glenn, I'm telling you, you. They're fine. They're watching over it. They've got it. And, you know, it's his life. It's his life. So I would imagine he deeply, deeply cares and looks into it. I just hope he's right, because I don't have a lot of trust. It fades every time these things happen. More trust with me and the Secret Service is lost. And that makes me profoundly sad because I think these guys, many of them are true heroes, are willing to die for the Republic, and that's sad.
The Glenn Beck Program – "How a 'Teacher of the Year' Turned into a Would-Be Assassin"
Date: April 27, 2026
Host: Glenn Beck
Guests: Andrew Kolvet, Katie Pavlich, Selina Zito
This episode addresses the harrowing attempted assassination of President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner by Cole Thomas Allen, a celebrated Caltech graduate and former "Teacher of the Year" who was radicalized into action. Glenn Beck explores how someone with a bright future can be consumed by political hatred, the failures in security and response, and what this means for American society and the Republic. The conversation includes firsthand accounts from attendees and deep dives into the perils of escalating rhetoric, the seduction of "almost right" moral causes, the legacy of the Wide Awakes, and the personal and societal aftermath of political violence.
On the genesis of political violence:
"He was radicalized the same way our children are being radicalized today. Not by some foreign terrorist group, but by the toxic stew that is American politics in 2026... the endless media hysteria, the online echo chambers..." – Glenn Beck [09:45]
Katie Pavlich, on what she'll remember:
"Just remember hearing the gunshots and wondering if there was someone in the room...knowing immediately that the target was the president, and then hearing the glass breaking..." [37:38]
Andrew Kolvet on misinformation:
"The level of just idiocy and brain rot...there is such a desire to believe some sort of wild conspiracy, regardless of what the story is...everybody was shaken up." [91:50]
Beck on the danger of dehumanizing rhetoric:
"Our politicians use words like ‘fascist’ and ‘Nazi’ and ‘rapist’ and ‘pedophile’... It puts layers of people in harm's way." [71:36]
Selina Zito:
"Donald Trump is not thought of as a human by like 50% of the people in this country." [75:23]
On choosing "almost right":
"This problem is too big. Too big for who? Too big for me? Yep. Too big for you? Yes. Too big for God? Stop, stop, stop. Choose life... Even if you don't know what that means exactly, you don't choose it perfectly, you just choose it sincerely." – Glenn Beck [53:00]
This episode is a sobering autopsy of a society at the brink: one where a promising life devolves into violence—not out of pure malice, but out of the seductive conviction of righteousness fostered by relentless political and media polarization. Through a mix of firsthand narratives and systemic critique, the episode issues a clarion call to reject dehumanizing rhetoric, reclaim individual responsibility, address institutional failures, and choose the long, hard road back from the edge—for ourselves, for our Republic, and for the sake of the future.
