So now people are paranoid in Washington. Listen to this story. Dad. Stu, this is, this is sad. This is very sad. Government employees are reported. Can we have any sad music, Sarah? Government employees are reportedly plagued with anxiety over the Department of Government efficiencies. Doge the access to various computer systems. Fearing surveillance of their communications, some employees are paranoid that their conversations, their emails, their texts could be surveilled with some purchasing Faraday bags to block electromagnetic signals or to inhibit potential surveillance. One employee at the General Services Administration responsible for government procurement say they no longer carry a phone outside of the office. I used to carry my work phone around with me everywhere after hours on the weekend in case anything was needed. Anything was needed. But now I won't take it out of my office. Now, the GSA says it doesn't have a plan to surveil its employees, but people are worried that they're being surveilled now. Now, I, I don't. I mean, I, I mean, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but the government's been listening to you and everybody else for a very long time. What, you're just coming around to this? I think the government might be listening. No. No way. Now, add to that anything in your emails or whatever could just be taken without a search warrant. Your GPS location could just be given. Your banking records could be given to the FBI. Yeah, that's right. It could happen to you, but only if you're on the Right. And we're in Washington on January 6th. That was the only way that could happen. So you were safe. You were totally safe. Or are you? This is a reason to make sure the government is transparent. I don't think there's anybody that wants to be surveilled by the United States government. That's kind of been one of our points lately. You know what I mean? We've been saying that for a while. Hey, they could become really dangerous because they have all of our information. And you were like, no, that's not gonna happen. I mean, I mean, unless you're for Trump. But that's crazy. Oh, okay. Okay. So yesterday, anti Trump critics have called for another boycott against the co. Founder of Airbnb. He's decided to, to join Doge. I don't know what he's doing. Maybe putting people up. I don't know. I don't know. $4.7 trillion missing. Maybe he can get a slice of that. I don't know. But he came out and he said that he was, you know, he was going to go ahead and, and, and volunteer time for Doge. Okay, great. Oh, my gosh. No, not great for the people. I mean, the people who are the elites in Washington, you know, the ones that are having to sacrifice route now, right now, might. Might lose their cushy government job. I mean, they've had a job. They. They've been promised a job for life. You know what that's like, right? Never having to worry about your job, never having to worry about even a review because really, everyone around you sucks. Oh, man. And they might lose. Where's the sad music, Sarah? I need some more sad music for the government employees that might lose their job. Oh, gosh darn it. Can you imagine not knowing if you could keep your job? A new boss. Try this out for size. You probably can't relate to this, but a new boss comes in to your place of work and you don't know if he's gonna like you, not like you, change direction. You could just lose your job. I know you can't relate to that, but for the very first time in American history, these poor employees of the government who were promised a job for life and pension better than any kind of pension you could ever get. They now question whether this new boss of theirs might fire them. I don't know how they deal with it. I don't know how they deal with it. Oh, my gosh, the stress they must be under. Just horrible, huh? By the way, Department of education has canceled $600 million in woke teacher training grants. You've gotta be kidding me. So wait a minute. Are you telling me nobody's gonna be teaching our teachers that little Susie could have a dinky sewed on to her body so she could be a boy?

I know you can't relate to this kind of chaos, but the teachers are now gonna have to go into school and what they've known to be true their whole life, you know, that gender is fluid, that a boy could be a girl, that, you know, trans is cool, that drag queens, I mean, they grew up their whole life knowing that drag queens were cool for kindergarteners, okay? They knew it their whole life. And then all of a sudden, Trump gets in and everything changes overnight. Now, all of a sudden, you can't relate to this kind of chaos in your life, because this kind of chaos has never happened to you where you believe something your entire life. You think everybody believes something for their entire life. And then a group of people get into power and they're like, no, there's no such thing as kids being able to change their gender. Imagine what these teachers are going through, the chaos in their life, man. And what is Doge doing? What are they doing really, Honestly, what are they doing? Let me give you this story. The Washington, D.C. nonprofit, a nonprofit, the Amica center for Immigration Rights, has been running advertisements on Facebook soliciting donations to disrupt Trump's deportation machine. Stop Trump's deportation dystopia. We'll see you in court, Mr. Trump. Now, you might not have ever heard of this ngo, but the federal government has heard about it. In fact, they received just last year $9 million as a subcontractor to provide legal services through the Department of Justice Legal Orientation Program. So this is like a quasi government agency. Here's the good news. Okay? You're going to love this. You've never heard of this group before. You might think, hey, I don't know. I mean, didn't they promise us at one point we wouldn't take federal tax dollars to pay for abortions? No, they never promised that. What are you talking about? You've got a faulty memory. I don't know. I'm kind of against illegal immigration. Why are my tax dollars Going to fight against the law? Are you a Doge person? Are you somebody who likes Elon Musk? Are you somebody who doesn't understand that the biggest threat to the planet, an existential threat, will be dead in 10 minutes? We'll all be dead if we don't take care of global warming in the next, well, about nine and a half minutes. Now, hurry up. You're one of those people and you're for Elon Musk. You know, a guy who believes the same things that you believe about global warming and has done more, you know, for global warming than anybody else alive on the planet. But I see why you hate him so much because of things like this. He's going to make sure that every dollar, every that you pay into tax, which I know you love, because it's patriotic, right? Am I right? Hey, do your patriotic duty, pay tax. And you love high taxes. You personally love them, right? It's not, oh, tax somebody else. Not me. No, no, no, not with you. You love taxes and you just want them as high as they can possibly be. He's just making sure that the tax dollars aren't going to something that you don't necessarily agree with because it's unconstitutional. You know, like, right, you're for this one. You're for this one you want, because that one makes sense. But can you imagine if Those tax dollars, 9 million Donald Trump use that to, to prop up, you know, a pro second Amendment ngo? That would be crazy. We'd have to stop that right now, wouldn't we? This is incredible what they are doing. They have zero credibility on any of this. Any of this. How do you defend this? Just this, just this $9 million. Well, $9 million. I don't know if you know this, but $9 million here, there and everywhere kind of adds up. Usually adds up to, oh my gosh, where did I pull this number out? $4.7 trillion that the treasury just has no idea where they put that. Look, the world is easy to explain. Why don't we just imagine for just a second that our government is a restaurant, A bustling restaurant, okay? Where every section in the restaurant plays a vital role, okay? Because they want to create a memorable dining experience and make the people happy. At the heart of the kitchen is the chef, okay, in this restaurant, that would be called the president. He's the chef. He crafts the menu and oversees the culinary creations, all in line with the original purpose of the restaurant. So if it's an Italian establishment, he can't put goulash on the menu. That wouldn't be good. Every four years, the diners, the citizens, if you will, the diners have the opportunity to review the chef's performance and say, yeah, you know, I don't, I. I don't like his fare. I don't think it's good. It's not good for the restaurant. After all, we, the people, the diners, own the restaurant. So in the dining area, the servers are elected. Members of Congress interact directly with the patrons. They're elected every two years. They're hired every two years. Everybody in the restaurant, all the patrons have to say, you know what? I like him. I don't like him. Replace him. But the servers do that because they're attuned to the immediate needs and the feedback of the diners. Now they can relay compliments and concerns to the chef, suggesting adjustments or new dishes based on patrons desires. However, they do not step into the kitchen to alter recipes or dictate cooking methods or tell the chef who to hire and fire. Their role is to represent the diner's voices and ensure their satisfaction. The chef in turn, selects his own kitchen staff, the sous chefs, the line cooks, the dishwashers without any interruption from the dining room. And the same can be said for the for the chef. He can't interrupt and tell which servers are hired or fired or which are assigned to which tables. That's not his job. Now the servers don't influence the chef's hiring decisions and vice versa. It's a clear boundary. Front of house, back of house. That way the whole thing runs smoothly. Now, just to make sure that this Italian restaurant remains an Italian restaurant, you've got a critic who comes in once in a while when there's a problem or a dispute. And when they start happening between the kitchen and the dining area area. The role is to assess whether the chef and the servers are adhering to the restaurants founding recipes and standards. Are they holding that true? They don't rewrite the menu or manage the staff and said all they do is just say yep, that was what was on the menu and looks like is creating that. Recently there's been a stir in our governmental restaurant. The chef has decided to revamp the kitchen, bringing in new staff because it's been wildly inefficient and lacking of good flavor. Goulash is appearing on the menu. However, some of the servers are attempting to stop the chef from hiring and firing his own staff, challenging the chef's authority to manage their own team. Now the situation again akin to the chef trying to dictate which servers should attend specific tables. But this is disturbing the force. I feel like there's a million voices crying out and then suddenly silence. The restaurant has the servers, the chef and the critic. In the early 20th century, some proposed a different model for our restaurant. Woodrow Wilson. They suggested that a group of experts should oversee both the kitchen and the dining area, believing they knew best what patrons should consume. This sidelined all of the direct feedback from the diners and concentrated the decision making power, leading to a disconnect between the establishment and the owners of the restaurant. In fact, it was never fully understood what they were doing or run by the patrons who only eat there. They're the actual owners. All three, restaurant chef, the servers and the critic were part of a covert plan to hire someone unknown to the patrons who wanted to run the kitchen and serve only goulash. The chef is now making the changes to restore store it to an Italian restaurant. This is Glenn Beck. That's all that's happening here. Because they wanted, they want to go into Ukraine and they don't want to start a war with NATO.

But that probably means they don't want to go into Finland or they don't want to go into Poland as well. So I don't know. I mean, I do think there are problems with the organization. I don't know that like, leaving it or having it dissolve is necessarily a good outcome for the world, though.

Well, I don't, I, you know, I don't see us doing that unless they just become, you know, dead set against the things that we stand for, which is freedom of speech, which they are doing right now. I worry about, I worry about Europe. I think Europe is they're not listening to their people. And, you know, when you get somebody to rise from a populist movement in, let's say, people, places like Germany, it could not be good. It might be okay, but it also could be a really bad thing. How are you? I'm so good. I'm so good. I don't want you to tell the end of the story yet. I want you to start. Yeah, I want you to start at the beginning. What happened when you left the White House and Biden took over as President?

Pat Gray (45:13)

I'll take you back one step further.

Glenn Beck (45:15)

So I stepped down as White House Press Secretary and the President has always been kind and offered to appoint me to a couple boards. He appointed me to two of them. One of them was the White House Commission on Fellows. As a commissioner there and then, he also was kind enough to make me one of his appointees to the Board of visitors of the U.S. naval Academy. So I sworn into office, Joe Biden comes into office. And. And so on January 20, myself and all of the White House commissioners at that fellowship committee resigned. Because it's a White House commission and the new president has a right to have people for White House commissions. Fair enough. Well, September 1st, I get an email of 2021 and it says, Dear Mr. Feister, thank you for your service in the U.S. naval Academy Board of Visitors. By 6:00 tonight, please submit your resignation or you will be fired. And I thought, whoa, what now, just for context, remember, Glenn, September 1st, my term ended November 1st. 60 days later, I was like, you couldn't wait 60 days just to have it for free? So, So I was like, I've been sworn into office. My term was, you know, ended that time and I obviously wasn't going to get reappointed. Biden had his right to appoint his people. Great. So it turns out that he fired everybody. Myself from the Naval Academy board, Russ Vogt from the Naval Academy board, and then a guy named H.R. mcMaster from the West Point board, who, by the way, H.R. mcMaster, you remember, was the national security advisor to Trump, three star army general who was a graduate of West Point, a distinguished professor at West Point. And the Friday after that Tuesday email was going to be honored at West Point as a distinguished alumni in their awards ceremony.

So.

So anyway, he fires us September 1st. I don't resign. I said, if you. I'm not resigning. You can fire me if you want. And then Stephen Miller in America first came to me and said, we have an idea. I said, okay, what's the idea? He goes, we want to sue Biden. Now, Glenn, I'm not a lawyer. Said, guys, I watch a law. A lot of. A lot of Law and Order, but how in God's earth if we sue the guy in September? I mean, my term ends November 1st. We're never gonna get back on the board. And they said, no, no, no, let's go to court and make Joe Biden argue that he has the absolute authority to fire anybody. And because you were not gonna win the case, they'll rule against us. And I was like, oh, this is brilliant. The only people. But here's the kicker. The only people who were willing to put their name on that lawsuit are myself and Russ. Vote of all of the other people that. But we're so honored that President Trump had appointed them. And they went to everyone said, hey, will you sign on to this? And they said, thanks, we're busy. Russ votes. So the case became Spicer et al V. Biden. It goes up to the court. The court says the president has the absolute authority to. That we appeal the decision. It goes to the appeals level, and the court again reaffirms the decision that Joe Biden and the President of the United States had the absolute authority to fire anyone. And the media started calling Glenn, and they go, you lost the case. And I said at the time, did I? Donald Trump gets elected. And this is where it gets really fun.

Glenn Beck (48:34)

You'll love this because you don't know the rest of the story. Here it comes.

Pat Gray (48:39)

Thank you, Paul Harvey. So. So. So the New York. I write this story in the. This op ed for the New York Post saying, hey, guess what? Spicer v. Biden has given President Trump the authority to fire anyone he wants. I hope that President Trump executes it. And the White House is tweeting, you know, sending me new messages back, guess who we just fired. Guess who we just fired? And I'm living in this glory. Well, I write this piece for the New York Post explaining, hey, here's what we did. Here's the legal basis. All these people who are about to get fired by Trump should thank President Biden for this. Now, here's where it Gets fun. The New York Post in the editing process, says to me, okay, well, was it just the service academies? And I said, no, they had the right to fire anyway. And they said, well, give us some examples. And so I've got the list of boards and commissions that the president can appoint to. There's like a couple hundred two. And I start reading one of the editors, I said, well, they could fire. You know, there's the Battlefield Commission, there's the Truman Scholarship, there's the Kennedy Center. She was, oh, what's that in the op ed Put that. People will identify with that. And then we went. We added a couple other examples to the op ed. So the op ed gets published in the New York Post, and I gets a lot of coverage, whatever. And President Trump continues to fire people. And when they fire the board of the Kennedy center, the Washington Post calls the spokesman for the Kennedy Senate, and he says, are you going to be opposing President Trump firing you? And on the record, the spokesman for the Kennedy senator says, we can't. Spicer v. Biden sets the precedent for this, gives the President the authority to do this. Now, here's the kicker. The Washington Post called me and says, what do you think about what the Kennedy center saying? Now, I have a hard enough time keeping up with President Trump. I don't focus on what the Kennedy center saying. I'm sorry, that's really not my thing. So I said, I don't know. And they go, are you serious? You don't know that? They just cited your case as the reason that they can't oppose or object to what President Trump just did. And I said, my God, that's amazing. I'm glad to have played a small part. A day later, the reporter calls me back and says, I went and read all of the court documents. And you're right. And I said, of course. What do you mean? Yeah, I wasn't lying to you. And he said, I've got to write this big story. And I said to my team at the time, my family, I was like, my God, this is not going to go well. The Washington Post wants to write a story about Spicer v. Biden and why it's given the President the authorities. And then I get a text and it says, hey, we're running. We're putting the story up. And I go, oh, like, these don't. These things don't end well for people like me and people like you. It's like, you don't get that. It's like getting a call from the irs. Hey, I'm from the Washington Post that I'm writing a story about Glenn Beck. Yeah, thank you.

Glenn Beck (51:24)

Yeah.

Pat Gray (51:25)

So I click on the story and I'm reading and I'm like, okay, okay, okay. Like, when's the bad part coming? And the only part is I normally, you know, there's that phrase, Glenn, where people say that they hate. Watch MSNBC or something.

Glenn Beck (51:41)

Yeah, yeah.

Pat Gray (51:42)

And I hate. I hate read the comments. I had to do it. I had to do it. I will not read the comments. I don't read the Twitter replies, whatever. But I read the comments, and these snowflakes, they're so offended. They're like, sean Spicer is an evil person pursuing the President. I'm like, wait a second. You have to understand the context. Never in the history of the United States had any president ever remove somebody from a service academy board prior to their term being done for anything less than malfeasance. And even that, we can't find an example. Never. Joe Biden was so petty. And the point is, they're mad at me. The comments. There's like thousands of comments when you click on the Washington Post story. And I posted it on my social media stories if someone wants to go read it. And I was like, wait a second, you're mad at me? They're like, I can't believe you did this. And I'm like, wait, wait, wait. I did nothing. I literally had 60 days to go. I'm sure I would have gotten some little, you know, medallion from the Naval Academy, said, thanks for your service, be on your way. And yet here they are, like, all these snowflakes putting comments in the Washington Post that, like, I'm the bad guy? Because why? Because I stood up and said, hey, you wanna argue that you have to do this, then give a future Republican president. Now, at the time, myself and Russ Boat had no idea that President Trump hadn't even decl for reelection yet. But we thought to ourselves, hey, you know what? We'll stand up now. Like I said, I watch a lot of Law and Order, but that's my legal prowess here. So the idea that this case now, which we thought at the time, hey, let's try it, has now become the basis for which President Trump can run around and say, you're fired. Legit is amazing. And I'm just. I'm like, the Post wrote in the story that I was giddy. I think that's an understatement. I am so ecstatic that not just that President Trump can execute on this strategy and that it was Joe Biden that set the president and gave us this gift is such sweet, poetic justice.

Glenn Beck (53:47)

You know, whenever anybody tries to force their way, it never ends well. Never ends well.

Pat Gray (53:53)

But think about this. They tried to de platform Trump, they censored him, they took him off the ballot, they sued him civilly and criminally, and it just, it's backfired. Backfire, backfire. Learn your lesson, folks. Like, I just, to me, I get such a kick out of this because these dumb dumbs keep thinking if we just go after one more time, it'll work, and it doesn't.

Glenn Beck (54:14)

So what is the strategy now? Do you think they have? I mean, because none of this is.

Pat Gray (54:19)

Working, I hope that it's continue. I mean, I just love the fact that they keep trying, they double down on stupid, and they're like, what if we just try it one more time? I'm like, God bless you. But the idea, at some point, you know, you take, I was, I was take the loss and just say, let's regroup, let's retreat. He's not running again. Maybe we stop making it about him and we think about what we're for. I don't tend to give a ton of advice to the Democratic Party, but at some point, recognize it. For 10 years, you've tried to say that Donald Trump's the problem, we're gonna come up against him, and it hasn't worked. So maybe, just maybe, you try to rethink this whole strategy. So, look, I don't really care if that's their problem. Not my.

Glenn Beck (55:05)

I, you know, I performed at The Kennedy Center 10, 12, 15 years ago, and it was like, it almost took an act of Congress to make that happen. I mean, you can, you can rent out the Kennedy center and do whatever you want on there. Well, they had a problem with me and, and they told me at the time I was the first show ever done at the Kennedy center that displayed the American flag on stage. I found that incredible. But I don't care what happens at the Kennedy Center. It doesn't matter to me. But the left is freaking out. They're just freaking out.

Pat Gray (55:45)

See, here's the thing. There is a bigger arc that I think is taking place in the first term. We were somewhat apologetic. We were like, you know, remember, just think about this. And remember, the Kennedy center is just one thing, so President Trump can keep firing everybody. But when in 2017, we came into office, the Kennedy Center Honors, right, which is supposed to be this annual thing where all these leftists and awards and they celebrate each other, they said we won't come if Trump shows up. And so Trump was actually magnanimous and said, you know what? I just. You guys go on, have your event. I won't go. Okay?

And I think that there was a lot of feeling around and trying to understand the trappings. And like I said, I. It was. It was just. It was new. What do we do? How do we approach this. This term? He says, screw it. You're all fire. I'm taking over the board. I'm in charge. I'm putting my people. And I love it. This idea that we have learned. And this is what I mean about the arc. It's that don't be. Don't be, you know, don't be afraid, don't be apologetic. Fight. Go out there. Why are we ceding ground at the Kennedy Center? Why isn't that Glenn Beck is the only person that puts an American flag on it? Why aren't we saying, you know what? Let's bring in more people who do that. Let's be proud, let's be patriotic. Let's use this institution to celebrate America. But I don't understand, like, the mentality is so different now. It's, let's fight, let's do this.

They want these institutions though, right? They institutional capture very important on the left. And the arts are probably the place they've targeted the most. And you know, I mean they've succeeded largely. They have succeeded and it's time to push back against those things. I mean to me, honestly, the Kennedy center, what we should do with it is listed on Zillow, frankly. And I know and get rid of it completely. There's no reason for to even have anything like that. No, but especially with what it has to do with the federal government. Someone will take that over privately and they'll be Happy.

And they'll make a lot of money with it.

Sure. Or lose a lot of money. I don't care. Yeah, but the bottom line is that shouldn't be the business of the federal government at all. But considering it is, it should be at the very least representative of the country. Right? Not just a left wing only institution.

I mean, you sell paintings for more than Hunter Biden can even sell them for. Like, legitimately, you should be on that. That would be a really, a really good thing. I think if this thing is going to exist, you should be on that board.

Oh, and that's totally inconsistent with the way Trump thinks. That's what he lives for. What are you talking about? We absolutely, he's you seriously, like, there should be a movement to get you on that board.

So it is weird. It's almost like great minds think alike. And then I think that way sometimes too, because Elon Musk this weekend said we should go in and see the gold reserve. On Friday, I gave Ricky a letter that I, that I wanted to send to the president and ended up sending it yesterday morning because it needed edits. But anyway, it just. I want to read it to you. Dear President Trump, I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. In the years that I've had the privilege of observing and reporting on your leadership, one thing has remained abundantly clear. You are a man who values transparency, accountability, and the right of American people to know the truth about their government. It's in that spirit that I'm reaching out to you with a request of historic significance, one that could restore the faith in our financial system, silence speculation, and reaffirm the trust in the American people in the foundational integrity of our economy. For decades, the question of America's gold reserves has been a subject of controversy. Fort Knox. The vaults at the Federal Reserve and other depositories reportedly house the gold, the gold reserves that underpin our nation's financial security. Yet, though on paper, America is the world's largest holder of gold, there has been no full independent audit of these reserves in over 70 years. This has led to widespread spread speculation, conspiracy theories, and growing distrust in our institutions. And Senator Mike Lee got into the fray somewhat because people were saying, oh, that's not true. They haven't. No. There hasn't been full transparency since the 1950s. In 19. I think it's 1974, they let some senators in without camera crews to verify that. Yeah, the gold is there. Well, that's not an accounting. Where is the accounting of our country's gold? There were. And I'm. I'm pulling these numbers out of my butt here, so don't hold me to these exact numbers. But in, like, 1940, we had, like, 697 million ounces of gold. Okay. That's a lot of gold. It's my understanding we're down to about 160 million ounces of gold. Okay. I think. I'm not sure, but I would do my homework on this. I think most of that is because we are. We rebuilt Europe. We took our resources and sent it back to Europe to rebuild Europe. Don't know if that's what happened to it, but, you know, those numbers are out. So there's something that is. Clearly, that happened. And it was all on the up and up, I believe. But those 167 million ounces of gold, are those at Fort Knox. They say half of it is underneath the streets of New York in the Federal Reserve vault where they are holding it for us. I'm not really comfortable with the Federal Reserve holding our cold. I don't know why we wouldn't have it in Fort Knox, but that's a different story. But both of them need to be audited. Audited, meaning somebody needs to go in and count every brick and not just count up and across. You take each brick, weigh it and do an analysis on it and count it and put it back in.

It'd be fascinating. I mean, we. It's been a while since we had an Al Capone's vault type of special. And we could go in there and there'll be, like, papers on the floor, and it'll be fascinating.

Yeah, that would be. It was a letdown with Al Capone.

Big news if there was nothing in the vault. Yes.

And I don't know. I mean, I. It's hard to know exactly what's going on with all that, but we should know. And honestly, like, they have this bill coming up, this reconciliation bill. I think it would be very easy to put in there. An annual. A Biannual review for to check this out and make sure it's all in there.

I mean, you know that nobody knows, no one single person knows how to get into the vault. It's like several people that have their portion of opening the door at the vault. So it takes several people to open it.

Yeah, I mean, I just love. Just for. I mean. And they wouldn't show that to us, you know? You know, and here's what you do next to open the vault. I mean, they're not going to show that. But it would be fascinating to know the security just on that building.

Do they have a get smart type of thing going on?

Yeah, you get into a phone booth and you go down. Yeah, yeah.

They should just put that in, even if it's not necessary. Right. We're wasting money on so much other stuff. Why not this? We spent what, $10 million on people getting circumcised in Mozambique.

Right. We can't get a phone booth.

Why not get a cool phone booth? Yeah, that whole situation with the Social Security numbers where there's millions of people that are like 130 years old that have Social Security numbers and are technically still in the books. They say it's actually not that big of a deal. That they've been A lot of it is. It's just paperwork stuff and they're not actually receiving pay. Something like 98% of the people over 100 are not receiving payments. Now, it does indicate that there's probably a few people that are, and we should find out who is on that list because there are some people that actually, of course, are over 100 years old. So some of those should be fine, but we should be able to check that out pretty quickly. And they're like, the question is cost benefit analysis here. It's like the benefit really just to take a bunch of numbers off of a list doesn't really do much good for the American people and would cost 5 to 10 million dollars to do it. Why? Why would it cost 5 to 10 million dollars? Let's just start here. Everybody over 130, you just immediately delete if one of them says, hey, what do. What's going on with my Social Security?

I want them in the world record book. Let's meet them, right? And let's triple their payments until they die. Just for fun, you know, I. Maybe at one thing 30, we automatically triple your payments. If you can make it that long at 105.

But like, there's no secondary question as to why it would cost five to $10 million to remove a bunch of names from a list of people who can't possibly be alive. That, that's going to cost us $10 million. It's like when they always say that with the wall, they're always like, it's going to cost $10 million a month. Mile. Why? Why is it gonna cost $10 million a mile? Well, I, I mean, I just, it's just absurd. And they keep doing these things to us over and over and over again. And the left of course, puts all sorts of weird restrictions on it. It's not as if every single thing you see, because when you see, oh gosh, there's people that are 190 years old with Social Security numbers that are active, the immediate thought, understandably would be, okay, well that's a real scheme and someone's stealing money or whatever. In reality, there are government reports on this that say that those people, it doesn't seem like they actually are receiving money. It's just a record keeping thing. But like, why not clean it up, take 10 minutes. That's a 10 minute database. Delete.

So the story that's going around with this is that Elon Musk repeatedly claimed that he found all kinds of fraud in Social Security. But I look at the quote and in the Oval Office press conference he said a cursory examination. So first examiner examination of Social Security. We got people out there that are 150 years old now. Do you know anybody at 150? I don't know. They should be in the Guinness Book of World Records. So that's a case where I think they're probably dead. Now the articles that I'm reading immediately go into, that's just the broken system there. There's nobody who's 150 that's scamming the, you know, the system there that, that money is. Well, you don't know that for a fact. Just like you can't say Elon Musk, Elon Musk can't come out and say massive fraud. You can say massive fraud. If all of these numbers are still active and paying out, you could say that, that it would be massive fraud. You can't say it's not massive fraud. You can say it probably isn't. But this war on words is just insane because what Stu just said is the point. Why do we have a question on it? There was a story out today, $4.7 trillion not marked for anything from the Treasury Department. Now, Elon Musk didn't find this. His people who are working with treasury people, they're the ones who found this and brought it to the attention. And what it means is there's $4.7 trillion of checks where it doesn't, you know, where it says at the bottom next to your signature four. Nothing's filled in, in that space. They'd have no idea what $4.7 trillion, where it went, what it was for. Now, that could be fraud. But shouldn't we know, shouldn't we just look into that? I mean, I don't understand how people are fighting against this tooth and nail unless you have something to hide, unless you're afraid something that you've been doing. You know the thing on the gold that we have to be very, very aware of and why it is important is we are talking about putting more assets on our balance sheet. So in other words, I mean we're not broke. If you want to count all of the oil that we have in Alaska, you put that on our balance sheet and that takes a lot of debt worry away. So they're looking at rebalancing everything thing. But when you go in and look at the, the gold you have to make sure that all of the gold is marked U.S. treasury. When we, when I saw not us when the federal Reserve returned the gold of Germany to Germany they demanded it would be released from New York, sent back to Germany. Took us about two years to transfer that but they got it. But when they got wasn't stamped German it had been reported. Why, why, why wouldn't you return the German gold to Germany? The speculation is, is rehypothecation that we have used this gold for several countries and just kept counting our gold and their gold is our gold and our gold and their gold as their gold. And it doesn't. There's not enough money to, there's not enough gold to cover all of it and that all of the countries were in on it and that a lot of this gold is not there anymore. I hope that's not true. But I don't trust the Federal Reserve at all and I don't think we should. It's great to be on the show. You know I love America and I love Canada too. And I don't think it's, I don't think I have to choose. I also love Trump by the way. And so it's been a bumpy few weeks cuz Trump said, hey Canada, fix your border problem or we're gonna slap you with tariffs.

Glenn Beck (86:57)

Yeah.

Ezra Levant (86:57)

And when you think of open Borders, you think the Mexican border. Right. And it's true. The vast majority numerically of the smuggling of people and drugs is from the Mexican side. But Canada's not perfect. It's getting worse. There's actually more would be terrorists that are nabbed on the northern border than the Mexico border and.

Glenn Beck (87:17)

And a lot of Chinese as well.

Ezra Levant (87:20)

Exactly. And the cartels are active in Canada, including not just the Mexican cartels, but you know, there's big meth labs being found in Canada every week. Here's the thing, if you look at the announcement that Trump made, this was back, I think in November, he said, look, by the time I'm inaugurated on January 20th, I want you, Mexico and you Canada to basically do the preparatory work to seal the borders. Start working on it now or else I'll slap you with a tariff. So I think a grown up would say, okay, he wants us to seal the borders, we should probably do that in our own interest anyways. And he's got an orals in there that maybe stings a bit, but let's just do the work, cuz it's in our interest too. Trouble is, Trudeau said, nah, I'm not going to seal the border. I'm not going to crack down on illegal migrants and illegal drugs, even though that's something we should do. I'm going to focus on the Orels else and I'm gonna get into sort of a staring contest with an ally 10 times bigger than us. And I've watched Trump's announcement. He wants the border fixed, the tariff is the or else. But here's the thing, and I don't know if Trump really thought about this, cuz he's dealing with bigger fish, like he's dealing with Ukraine, he's dealing with Gaza, and he's dealing with the economy and the fires in LA and getting his nominees through the Senate. So he's dealing with huge things. I don't think he's following the minutiae of Canadian politics because let me tell you one thing I think Trump didn't count on. I mean, Trump's a master negotiator. And the thing about a negotiation is the other guy, you know, you've got to be willing to walk away and you've got to make it so the other guy sort of doesn't want to walk away because his alternative is worse. But here's the thing about Trudeau. I don't know if you remember this, Glenn, but in January, Justin Trudeau announced he was gonna resign.

Yes.

Ezra Levant (89:12)

And that's gonna take effect on March 9th. That's like three weeks from now. So Trudeau doesn't have the interest of getting a deal. He wants his final few weeks as prime minister to be, you know, an epic superhero coming to save Canada. He wants to be Captain Canada fighting against the big bad Trump. He doesn't actually want a deal glitch because that's boring. And that looks like he's taking orders from Trump. If he fights Trump, if he says, no, no, no, I don't want to spend a few billion on border security. I want to get in $100 billion trade war. See, Trump's not used to negotiating with a guy who actually wants to hurt himself. But why would Trudeau want that? Two reasons. Number one, to change the narrative. He's the Captain Canada, saving our country from the big bad Trump. We've got a lot of Trump derangement syndrome over here. But number two, Trudeau has wrecked our economy through taxes and debt and inflation and cost of living. So if Trump actually does bring in punitive tariffs, Trudeau can say, aha. This is on Trump. It's not me. I didn't wreck the economy. Trump did. So the thing is, Trump is dealing with a guy who's acting in bad faith. Justin Trudeau wants a trade war.

He wants our countries to fight.

So let me ask you this. I've been watching the reaction of some Canadians, and they're like, we're not going to become the 51st state. Do you guys understand trolling?

Donald Trump.

Glenn Beck (90:43)

He's calling Trudeau the governor of the 51st state to minimalize him as a mock of Trudeau. We're not thinking about buying you. We're not offering to buy you, and we're certainly not sending troops up there to take you. Do the Canadians just not understand that?

Ezra Levant (91:04)

I think it's a combination. Because here's the thing. For the last 10 years, Trudeau has tried to denature Canada. Our founding prime minister is named John A. MacDonald. Sir John A. McDonald's, our version of George Washington. He's on our $10 bill. There's statues of him everywhere. Trudeau stripped him off the $10 bill. Trudeau presided over his statues being knocked down. Trudeau has told us us that we are a country that committed genocide against Indian people. Trudeau calls us sexist, racist. He says, and he told the New York Times, we have no core values. We're basically a hotel. So he spent. He. He changed our national anthem. Who asked him to do that? Like, he's doing all these things. He went On.

Glenn Beck (91:51)

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. He changed your national anthem from O Canada to what?

Ezra Levant (91:56)

It's still O Canada, but he changed the words. And, like, who else can do that? He went on Anderson Cooper show, and Anderson Cooper said, well, tell me, what's a Canadian? Okay. That's a question you'd expect a prime minister to answer. He said, well, we're not Americans. That's not, that's not an identity. That's sort of a. That's sort of an attitude. And so here's a guy who for 10 years has derided what it means to be Canada. He's given away citizenship to millions. So I think Trump, in his uncanny way, detected within Trudeau a bit of an inferiority complex.

Glenn Beck (92:32)

Oh, yeah.

Ezra Levant (92:32)

A bit of a weakness. And so that 51st state thing, Governor thing, it actually stings because Trudeau has spent 10 years destroying our national identity. And Trump must have groked that somehow, because every time Trump says that, that it actually hurts because we have spent 10 years destroying what's made us Canadian.

Glenn Beck (92:54)

And Trump figured it out so well. He's very good. He's very good at knowing where people's weaknesses are. I think that's one of his, one of his real skills in negotiating. He knows what the other side is thinking and what they're afraid of. Let me, let me ask you this. This. Are we, Is this going to turn into something?

Ezra Levant (93:20)

Well, you know, there was some booing. There's a hockey game between us.

Glenn Beck (93:23)

No, we're very well aware of it. Yeah.

Ezra Levant (93:25)

And the boo, I think people are. There's. Some people are sort of startled because the idea of fighting with America is unthinkable. Like, we're. You really. You almost can't tell a difference between a Canadian and American other than how we pronounce a few words, like a boot, the hoose, how long you wait for health care.

Yeah. There's just a few things.

There are some differences, of course, but I can't think of two countries that are more similar. So the idea that we're in some battle with America, it's confusing to Canadians. But here's the thing. Let me just say quick thing about the first 51st state. You know how California is this huge electoral college that always goes Democrat every time. Let me say this to my brothers in the United States. You do not want another 40 million people who will vote Democrat.

We've made that point.

I myself would be a Trump supporter in the heartbeat. And maybe the Province of Alberta, where I'm from.

And by the way I know you have some challenges with French. Sorry, Spanish, bilingualism. You know, a quarter of our country's French.

So, I mean, get ready for French to be spoken in your Congress. Just saying, you know, there's probably a few details you didn't think about, but let me tell you what actually matters. I don't know if you know, but our free trade agreement that Trump renegotiated with Canada, it already gives you everything you want. We have 170 billion with a B barrels of oil in our oil sands. And you have access to it. You have preferential access to it. And so when Trump talks about slapping that with a tail tariff, my phrase is that America first. You're the customer. You need that oil to displace the conflict. Oil, you're buying from opec.

Glenn Beck (95:10)

Yeah.

Ezra Levant (95:10)

How about instead of slapping oil with a tariff, since that's just going to your refineries, we're the number one source of American oil other than America. You make about half of your own oil in Texas and other places, but the other half, we're your number one source. Then comes Mexico, then Saudi Arabia. How about replace that OPEC oil oil with more Canadian oil? And I know Donald Trump's a deal maker. Art of the deal. Well, how about do, how about do a 50 year deal with Canada? You could buy every one of those 170 barrels of oil. 170 billion. And that would last you 50 years. You would be able to displace every single foreign barrel of crude. $13 trillion deal. That's a bigger deal than Greenland. You have access to that oil, it's yours. But most of the companies operating there are American owned. Even the Canadian companies are all listed on your American stock exchanges. You own the companies that are making the money like it's American, all the way down. And you don't want China to get access to that oil. China's poking around Canada's oil centers. What does China want? China wants you to push Canada away. Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't do it.

And I just, I think that Trump is shooting at Trudeau but hitting us. Don't do that. I have a creative way to get back at Trudeau, but don't do it by attacking Canada.

Well, I'll tell you. I mentioned before that Justin Trudeau said Canada has committed a genocide against our native peoples. But he says that in the present tense. He says we are committing a genocide.

That sounds like a crime against humanity. What if Trump were to issue an executive order saying, taking notice of Justin Trudeau's confession, that he is presiding over a genocide? Oh, yeah. When he was talking to the Munich Security Conference and he just said, look, why are you guys abandoning our values of freedom of speech? And he gave lots of examples. It was, it was incredible. And I think it really wobbled them a bit. It shook them.

Oh, yeah, it did. I mean, the guy who was, you know, head of the conference cried at the end, saying that we don't have anything in common with America anymore. And I'm like, wow, that's quite a statement. Statement. He was talking about freedom of speech, but I looked it up. Go ahead, go ahead. Well, I was going to say the U.S. no, no, no. Go now. Neither of us are going to go. Okay. But Canada and the, and the European Union, they're kind of headed in the same direction. And I. It's, it's especially Europe, it feels like they're just an organ of the WEF and they're not listening to their people. What happens if we, I mean, if we keep our values and they are opposed to our values? We're no longer allies, nor should we be allies.

I agree with you, but there's one difference between the EU and Canada. The EU is largely unelected bureaucrats. They have, you know.

It's a terrible monster. Whereas Canada, we are just weeks or at most months away from a new election. And all the polls show that Trudeau's party, even if someone else leads it, will be thrown into the dustbin of history and a new Conservative leader named Pierre Poliev will win. And he is very much friendlier to America. He's pro conservative, pro military, anti woke. He's against the carbon tax. He's pledged to scrap it. He's pledged to get rid of our state broadcaster, the cbc, which is very left wing. So I'd say one huge difference is that Canadians are waking up. The last poll I saw for Trudeau, until this latest superhero revival that he's been able to do by being Captain Canada, he was as low as 16% in the polls. So we were sort of almost done with Trudeau, but Funny enough, Trump sort of pumped him up a bit by giving him the 51st state battle to fight. Can I throw one more thing at you?

Yeah. I've got about 90 seconds in energy.

Europe buys a lot of its energy from Russia, which is why Russia couldn't afford to evade Ukraine. You're buying a lot of oil from opec. If you bought Canadian oil instead, you wouldn't have to be so militarily deployed in the Persian Gulf. You could be there by choice, not by necessity. You spend $50 billion a year on the US Fifth Fleet defending the Persian Gulf sea level. How about just fill up the Keystone XL pipeline and get Canadian ethical oil instead? That's my counterargument to the tariffs on Canada. Lean into the oil sands. Don't push them away. Replace your OPEC conflict oil with Canadian ethical oil. And then if you want to play around militarily in the Middle east, fill your boots. But you're not doing so just to be the security guard to escort that oil to America. You divide $50 billion a year into the oil America buys from the Persian Gulf. It's like 100 bucks a barrel in military costs just to get that oil. This is my argument, Glenn, for our countries becoming closer friends, not pushing each other away.

You've talked me into it. I think we launch military plans against Canada this afternoon and just take all that oil. You don't need to.

Poland is fine, but Poland, or sorry, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Denmark, Netherlands, they're like, well, we need a seat at the table for this Ukraine thing. United Kingdom is the one. Remember it was Boris Johnson that went over and said, don't take the peace deal. Don't do it, don't do it. Well, we're gonna let you into the room. You weren't for peace then and I don't think you are now. But they're all claiming that they have to have a seat at the table. And Donald Trump said, I'm, I don't think that's going to happen. Why should they have a seat at the table? It's between Russia and Ukraine and we're the ones making this happen.

And importantly, it's not between Russia and us. No, we have a role in that because really without us, Ukraine has no defense. Is Europe going to step up and spend all those hundreds of billions?

Well, they're trying to and if they.

Do you know, they spend, they, if they're lucky, they spend 3% of their GDP. Lucky. I think Poland is the only one that is doing more than that. And it's 4%. Most of them do less than 2% of their GDP for defense. Do you know how much we spend on defense as a percentage?

Stu Burguiere (107:30)

Right in that vicinity? Right.

Glenn Beck (107:32)

It's anywhere from 15 to 20% of our GDP. Fiscal years of spending has typically accounted for 15 to 20% of total federal budget. Budget, fiscal year 2023 of the budget.

Stu Burguiere (107:45)

That's different than GDP, of course.

Glenn Beck (107:48)

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Of the budget. Federal spending was approximately 6.2 trillion. That was for 2023. 13.8%.

Stu Burguiere (108:00)

Yeah. So we. Yeah, that's. Which is, you know, we spend about 850 billion.

Glenn Beck (108:04)

ISH would be 3.36 of G GDP. Right.

Stu Burguiere (108:11)

Yeah, that's about right. Which is actually pretty low. Historically for us, it was a lot higher. A Korean War. We're double digits. Percentage. Yeah. I mean, look, this is quite clearly much more a European issue than an American issue. That's not to say that we have no interest in deterring Russia. We do have an interest in that. I do see that. I know that's not always the like.

Are you willing to put boots on the ground to be peacekeepers?

Stu Burguiere (108:37)

No, I don't. I don't want anything to do with that. I want to stay away from nuclear war with Russia. That's. That's something I want to do.

Glenn Beck (108:43)

Starmer is saying the United States needs to be there as peacekeepers. Not a single boot goes on the ground.

Stu Burguiere (108:50)

No, no, no, no. It's not happening.

Glenn Beck (108:52)

Not going to do it.

And I mean, we've. Honestly, I don't think there's anybody who wants that.

Glenn Beck (108:58)

Europe does. Not Europe.

I'm talking about Poland.

Poland is like, we're not doing that. That. We're not putting any footprint in Ukraine. None.

Stu Burguiere (109:06)

Right. I mean, look, Ukraine has to defend Ukraine. If Europe wants to be the sugar daddy for that war, they can be the sugar daddy for that war. And we won't really. Like, I won't sit back and be like, oh, gosh darn it, Russia is still getting attacked by Europe. I'm not gonna sit here and I'm not gonna worry about it all that much. Russia's gonna be being attacked by Ukraine still. And that war keeps going on. I don't think it's a good thing for the Ukrainian people. I don't think it's a good thing for the Russian people. I don't think it's a good thing for the world. But I do think that pushing back on Russia has some understandable benefits when you're talking about weakening one of the closest countries that could compete with us as far as super power status. That being said, my much larger concern is not being involved in a war with Russia. I don't want to be in a nuclear war. I don't want to be in the middle of that. I don't want something that can spiral out of control in days, in minutes, and lead to half of our country being destroyed by nuclear weapons and half of theirs. That's just not. That's not something. No interest in staying away from that.

Glenn Beck (110:09)

In every war game ever done by the Pentagon, in every war game, it is only ended in total nuclear annihilation. The entire world, no matter how it starts, no matter where it starts. Once somebody launches a nuclear missile within the first hour, war. Every missile has been launched, no matter what they've tried. That's terrifying. Yeah, it's terrifying.

Stu Burguiere (110:32)

And even if you're completely confident in our side of things, right, which I know the left doesn't seem to be at all, I don't know why they are so still pushing for this, considering they think Donald Trump's a fascist dictator with a temper, right? But even if you are convinced that Donald Trump will never launch a nuclear weapon in response to something that Vladimir Putin does, you still have to be worried about Vladimir Putin, right? Like, you can't sit here and be like, gosh, Putin should be fine. He'll never do such a thing. If he believes he's losing, he very well might. We are in a situation now that this has gone on for multiple years. Ukraine had an opportunity with a counteroffensive that we funded, and they, I'm sure, fought valiantly in that effort, but it didn't work. And now we're at a stalemate. And if we can get this thing over with. I'm sorry, it sucks for them. I mean, look, I don't. I don't even say that dismissively. It does suck for them. They got invaded and they're gonna lose a giant chunk of territory on their eastern side if that's the way this thing settles. That sucks for them. It really does. But that being said, our interest as Americans, America First, Is to make sure we are not drawn into a giant war against Russia, Russia that might end up in a nuclear conflict.

Glenn Beck (111:48)

Okay, two thoughts. One, I believe Donald Trump may be the only president that is actually America First. Not just some worse, but actually American first and a strong president that would not launch nuclear missiles. I. I wonder. I hope we don't ever test it, but I wonder if somebody launched against us if we would actually launch. Hunch. Because he knows what that means, and he might just say, take it, we lose a couple of cities. Go hunch. I know.

Stu Burguiere (112:22)

No, it's not. Not when you know that. Not when you know what? How it always ends.

You know, you're saying it's not. You're. You're arguing with me that it's not the worst thought, which I would agree.

Yes, it would be horrible.

Some ways you could argue it would be horrible, that it would be worse if it goes back and forth. Of course it would. Although, again, we are. If we just sit here and take nuclear weapons, I don't think we're in a good position either, and probably not one that lasts.

So pretty much everybody's toast.

Which is why it always ends that way.

It is. The second thing is that why are we thinking that our interests are aligned with Europe? Up. You know, the one thing that I think is happening in America right now is the whole world is getting off one way or another. Of all of the deals that were made after World War II, that's over Brexit, I mean, not Brexit. Bretton Wood, you know.

Stu Burguiere (113:26)

Yeah.

Glenn Beck (113:27)

NATO, you're saying, and even NATO. I think those are last century, 100 years ago. I think the world is changing so much, and I think our allies have become the World Economic Forum. I mean, the elites, not the people, but the elites in those countries, they're not listening to their people. They are not friends of freedom. They are not going. I mean, I wonder why we would protect them.

Stu Burguiere (113:56)

Well, I mean, look, we were aligned with the Soviet Union against the Nazis. Right. So we had very little. Very little in common with them.

Glenn Beck (114:03)

Yeah, but these are our ally allies. We held our nose on the Russians.

Stu Burguiere (114:08)

No, it's true. And I think at some level, we're beginning to hold our nose. That being said, we always talk about the world changing. The world's not set up all that terribly for the United States.

Glenn Beck (114:19)

No, it's not.

Stu Burguiere (114:19)

I mean, we're kind of the ones winning this. Even though it feels like we're losing ground, which I think is true. We're still the superpower of the world. You still see the Donald Trump. Trump is not magic. He's able to wield this power because it exists.

Glenn Beck (114:34)

Right.

Stu Burguiere (114:34)

And that is important to hold onto. I don't think we really like the grass isn't all that much greener in any other scenario. Holding onto this world order the way it stands now and trying to defend it is what I think Trump is trying to do. Recognizing this is actually a positive for us. Right. We don't want to wield the power all the time. We want to have the ability to wield it when we need it.

Glenn Beck (114:57)

Correct.

Stu Burguiere (114:57)

And.

Glenn Beck (114:58)

But we have to fix our country, all of us. Do we have to fix our country? And right now there's, there's two paths. One that leads to the administrative state where unelected bureaucrats, just like in Europe, run everything. And if you fall afoul of them, look out. The other is freedom. And a constitutional republic like ours that says, no, you work for US government, we don't work for you. And while there are laws I can break, expressing myself or speaking out about a politician or whatever is not one of those things that is against the law here. And resetting to common sense, those are the two things. If you get, Sorry, I got to say, the only thing I know him as is the apple eating politician from, from Canada. Yeah, you get him and you might have another ally. You get Farage in, in England, you might have another ally.

Stu Burguiere (116:04)

Malay. I mean, there are some around the world. There are, that are. There are better than they used to be. Certain, yes, maybe not perfect, but better than they used to be.

Glenn Beck (116:12)

But until that time, man, I'm just not interested in spending our blood and treasure to protect people who admitted over the weekend, tearfully, in Germany that we don't really have anything in common with America anymore. Holy cow.

Stu Burguiere (116:33)

What kind of reaction is that? You're a man, you're a German. I mean, like, I know I'm talking to the guy who cried on TV all the time back in the day, so I get that there's a little irony here, but like, come on, what are you talking about? This is a guy saying, hey, you know, maybe you guys should watch where your free speech thing is going. Watch how you're treating this like Vance gave a very calm, rational case here. You might not agree with it, you don't have to agree with it, you're a sovereign nation. But to go out and say, oh my gosh, we're going to cry about how the United States, which is being consistent with its constitution and its principles and its culture and its traditions that have existed for hundreds of years, you're going to start crying and whining about how, oh, I can't believe we don't.

Glenn Beck (117:18)

Agree with them anymore because I think this is what they were so afraid of. This is why they're canceling elections and everything else. They are terrified that the west, that the people will wake up and they'll say, wait a minute, no, we're not doing that. That's why Donald Trump had to be destroyed. He's opened now Pandora's box of freedom, Freedom. And it's going to spread. And they are, I know they're Terrified of it. And they really have convinced themselves that they were right.

Stu Burguiere (117:50)

But what does this mean? Because I keep hearing this like, oh, Europe, they, this, this country, that country, they need their Donald Trump. Look, if what they meant by that was actual Donald Trump or someone who was identical to Donald Trump, that would be a very good change for you.

How Europeans translate what they think Donald Trump is is terrifying.

You know, we were just talking off the air about, you know, how do we save the country with budget cuts and everything else, and you're just not going to be able to do it without cutting into things like Social, Social Security. And that doesn't mean that you cut people who are on it now. You know, I mean, I'm 61. The average death now for a guy is 77. So when Social Security was put in, the average lifespan for a man was 63. You weren't intended on getting any of it. Now 65.
