It's complex and kind of hard to kind of hard to figure out who's who but once you do, you realize and I'm gonna try to give you that I get it now moment here in just a second so you can follow that and maybe get involved in, in helping. Also. There's a, there is a Ton of stuff going on with Donald Trump, the tsa. I can't wait to tell you about that nightmare. Also, people are upset about his, you know, tariffs and the way he's treating these loyal, loyal people in the government. Okay, well, let's talk about that. I'll try to explain this in a way that you can explain it to your friends who don' what he's doing. We'll give you that. We begin in 60 seconds. Stand by. All right, you're out fishing and fishing on the side of the lake with your grandkids. Beautiful early summer day. Birds are singing in a tree. The kids are giggling. Life is feeling pretty great. And then it hits you. Not a bite on the line, but pain in your back or your knees. You sat in one place too long and now you're in so much pain, you can barely reel the hook in and put another worm on. It is a perfect morning. Until then, may I recommend something? There are still a lot of Assad loyalists in the traditional strongholds within the country. Saad's been overthrown. He was overthrown by some people that are not really actually our good friend. In fact, the guy who's now saying he's president, he's better known as Al Juwani. He went to join Al Qaeda during the Iraq war. He's buddies with Zirqawi Al Zarqawi, the Iraqi, or I'm sorry, the Al Qaeda leader in Iraq. He led the Al Qaeda affiliate in Syria during the Syrian civil war. He's not credible. He's a terrorist. Okay, so now that we have that out of line, one more thing, Sada. Assad was a really bad guy. Wait a minute, Glenn. There's gotta be one of the two. I just live in this world of black and white. There's no third option? No, there is. Both of them suck. Kind of like Zelensky and Putin. Which one do you love? I don't love either of them, but you have to. You have to pick one of the two. Now. They both suck. All right, so here's the thing. The Assad in his family, they were Alawite. They were minority, traditional Assad loyalists, all of them. But they're not real die hards. And there are Christians living in these areas as well. The terror group that now runs the country is moving into those areas, and they're clashing with the loyalists. The people getting caught in the middle are Christians. Okay? Now, I'm sure that, you know, the killing is more, you know, than random. You know, they hate Christians and anybody else that doesn't agree with them, they're forcibly meant to convert. What? Converter die. Kind of an old story in the Middle East. And I'm. I'm mentioning the loyalists here and the connection to Assad in the past to show you that it's more complicated than some of the social media posts that came out this weekend. But it's still a very big problem. But the presence of the remaining loyalists doesn't take away from the civilian deaths. Cause they're just slaughtering these people. They're just slaughtering them. Okay? Many are, if not all are minority groups, like Alawites and Christians. But, you know, this is the thing you do, I guess, if you're a Muslim Islamicist, you know, you're. You were once with Al Qaeda. I kind of think you're always with Al Qaeda. And this is the way they did it. They persecuted the Christians during this Syrian civil war. And, you know, now they're saying, we're. We're so inclusive now. Now, now we'll. We'll cut anybody's head off. I o. Okay, that's accurate. There you go. And whenever this happens, bad people gain power and Christians lose their heads. They were Al Qaeda's affiliate in Syria, so no matter what they say to the international public, you know, we're all for inclusion, new future, diversity, blah, blah, blah. Do you really think the former leader of the Syrian Al Qaeda group is all about diversity? No, no, he's seriously. Oh, he's. He's a big DEI guy. No, he's a big die guy. So we know where this is eventually going to lead. And then you add the sectarianism in Syria. It goes back to the fall of the Ottoman Empire. I love all Ottoman Empire talk. It's so sexy. Oh, you could talk to me. About the Ottoman Empire all night. I had one at the end of my grandfather's chair once. The left's Arab Spring is the latest version of what we're doing. Okay. And it's impacting the former Al Qaeda group that is now running Syria. It's So, you know, HTs, they're the people running. But the Assad family, the Alawites, they would have never gotten any power if it wasn't for the French. Oh, it's a sex pico. Oh. You know what's better than talking about the Ottoman Empire? The Sykes Pico Compact. Oh, yeah. Oh, that agreement was so sexy in modern times. Here's what. Here's what we keep doing. And this is what we all have to learn from. All right? We are now living in a progressive era and have for the last hundred years. Let me ask you something. How have things been going in the last hundred years? Well, they were great. We had World War I and then World War II. Okay. Okay. All right. Might want to tell you something. What started World War II again? It was Hitler. I know. Hitler was the thing that we all look at and go, very bad. And again, he was very bad. But how did he become the guy that everybody in Germany loved? I remember Woodrow Wilson and his beast. His giant peace picnic in the back of a train car in France. That's how it happened. Okay? It all comes back to Woodrow Wilson. So this is the same thing over and over and over again. And the thing we have to realize, Assad, not good. Not good. Why? Why was he. Why was he the guy? Because we, as in the west, put him there. Why would we do that if he was such a bad guy? Because we like bad guys in the Middle East. We like sectarians that are looking and saying, I gotta. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna keep everybod unbalanced so the west can have their way. That's what happened, and that's what's happening again. We used to like people like Assad. I never did. Not a good thing. We used to like people like Assad until. Until what? Until we got Obama and then Clinton and then Biden. That's why we keep doing this over and over and over again. You know, I gotta tell you, I wanted to get. I wanted to do some real sexy talk about the Ottoman Empire. And then I just got it sidetracked. I just got sidetracked. I'm sorry. Hit the porn music. Because this. Oh, no. I'm gonna. I'm about. I'm taking you back to 1915. Oh, yeah, baby. The young Turks, they were so hot, they were drunk on power. And you know what happens then? Well, they. They kill 1.5 Armenian Christians. 1.5 million. That's usually what happens. And then the porn kind of goes bad. All of a sudden, you're like, wow, there's a lot of dead bodies around here. Yeah, well, that's progressive pornography for you. Men, women, children marched into the desert, starved, beaten, and then slaughtered. But just 1.5 million Christians? Why? Because they wouldn't bend the knee to the regime that demanded their souls. Let me give it to you in today's language. Islamicists versus Christians. I think I've seen this movie before. Yeah. Now, history calls it the Armenian genocide. The Turks don't. They're like. Genocide. What are you talking. The United States won't even call it that. But it's a. It's a real scar. It's a. It's a lesson. Uh, and this one. I don't care if the history book writes it this way. All kind of etched in blood there in the desert. Now, fast forward to the 1930s. What happened? Is he going to talk about the Nazis again? Mm, he just loves the Nazis. Nazi Germany rises. Who becomes a target? Jews. Six million Jews snuffed out, not because of what they did, but because of who they were. Hitler said he knew he could listen carefully. He knew he could get away with it because the world didn't care when the Turks tried to kill all of the Christian Armenians. Wait a minute. That might be something we should avoid. It happens over and over and over again. Power shifts. Ideologic ideologies clash. And then who pays the price? The innocent go back at Syria. December 2024. Assad falls. And this new guy, the. The h. T. S group led by Abu Mohammed al Juwani. I love that guy. Who doesn't think that Abu would be a great guy. Wasn't he. Wasn't he in that cartoon with Robin Williams? No, that was the monkey. The world was cheering for a moment. Oh, this is great. The tyrant's gone. Yeah. Yeah. And then he pulls out his big sword. Okay, the executions. First ones, 13 dead. Maybe 58. 13, 58. Who's really counting? Then last week, 311 Alawites. And they're saying now a thousand Christians. We don't know. We don't know because who's telling the truth? Who actually is telling the truth? Because it seems like there's a lot of bad people involved on all sides. But here's what's not new here's what we can confirm. Killing. Lots and lots of killing. It's not new. Same playbook. When Islamicists take over isis, Boko Haram. Now, HTS pattern repeats. Christians, Yazidis, minorities. Given a choice, convert, run or die. Now let me paint you a picture from the last five years. Nigeria, Boko Haram. They killed over 12,000 Christians since 2020. Did you know that? Did you know that? 12,000 Christians since 2020. I know, but we had, we had Joe Biden. It was almost as bad. No, no, I don't think it was. Don't think it was. They kidnapped thousands more. Kids, girls as young as 12. They're now slaves. Being raped every day, forced into marriages they didn't choose, but Allah said they had to get married. In Iraq, post ISIS, the Christian population has gone from 1.5 million to under 200,000. How'd that happen? Syria's own Christians, once a million strong, down to 300,000. And that was before the latest chaos. Now here's what's crazy. All of these people that are being murdered and being chased out, I'm not hearing about those people being accepted in Europe because I know it's refugees, but the only refugees I ever really hear about are the ones whose leaders are chopping Christians heads off in the Middle East. So why are they the ones we're accepting and not the Christians that are actually losing their heads? I don't know. In 2021, 5,000, 621 Christians were killed worldwide for their faith, most under Islamic hands. It's not a statistic. This is becoming a growing graveyard now. So what happens when these groups take over killing? You know, we have the Nazarene Fund. You know what, that's from the. The Arabic N for Nazarene. They would put that on the doors of anybody who believed in. In Jesus, you'd pay a tax, you'd convert, or you'd die. Churches have been burned, crosses torn down, families torn apart. Slaves. Actual slaves. Oh, come on. I would. In the 1850s, I would have been on the right side of that. What are you doing now? What are you doing now? Sold in markets just like the Dark Ages, just. But not as bad as it was in South Carolina. Yeah, yeah, just as bad. Just as bad. But I know, I know your friends, they all would be fighting against that right now. Ooh. Except they're not. Here is the thing that you really need to know about this, whether it is after World War I or Obama, Biden, Hillary. Hey, do we have that classic Hillary thing? Because let me Just give you this. So Obama gets in and he's like, hey, the Arab Spring. His USAID gets together with Facebook and they start to plant the seeds of the Arab Spring. When that one was done, because it was so spontaneous. Then they decided, let's overthrow Libya. And remember, remember what Hillary said came.

We saw, he died.

It was so funny when they were dragging his body through the streets. That was a bad guy. But what's happened since? Oh, I remember Benghazi, because Benghazi, we started arming the people so, you know, they could get who they saw after they came in and he died. So they armed and then we didn't want them to have their arms anymore. That was really dangerous. We got to get them to the people who are going to help us in Syria. The people who are now in charge of Syria. You know, the ones killing the Christians. Yeah, yeah, that's what happened. And Joe Biden doubled down. They were telling us that these guys are good guys. They weren't good guys. We have a monster. Regime changers come in and then they're like, oh, we, we, we need a new monster. And so they find a new monster. All of it, it ends in violent extremists. Every single time they get power, a new monster arrives. Rinse and repeat. That's what's happening. And that's why we've got got to end the policies that we have been on for the last 100 years. More in just a second. For somewhere in Israel right now, there's a Jewish woman standing alone, staring at her empty cupboard. Meanwhile, somebody in Texas, there's a Christian donating to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. A donation that becomes a hot meal, a blanket, a lifeline for that, that woman who's standing alone right now in the Holy Land, the birthplace of the Jewish and Christian faith, there is a fight happening right now. It's a fight for what's right, what's decent. It's a fight for the very existence of the Jewish people. And the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is on the front line of that fight. Last year, the generosity of people like you provided over 2 million meals to impoverished families and emergency age to aid to the regions of Israel that have been torn apart by the war with Hamas and Hezbollah. I don't know which one of those is good. Neither of them. The need hasn't stopped. Neither has the sacred mission of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Give a gift to bless Israel and her people right now. SupportIFCJ.org that's just one word. Go to supportIFCJ.org or call 888-488-IFCJ 888-488-IFCj International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Ten second.

You know, I, I want to remind you that there is something you can do besides just be involved politically. Mercury one, I was on the phone with these guys all week in the Nazarene Fund all weekend. We're there in Syria and we have been moving people to safety. And it's a really dangerous job. We are in places that are so dangerous. I will never tell you where we are until someday I write a book about what was done in these days. But we have people every day risking their lives to save Christians and people who are persecuted minorities. And you have saved. I don't, I don't have the actual number, but if you include the. What is it, 20, 20, 2000 in Afghanistan, we're over 30,000 people that we have moved to safety. Maybe, maybe closer to 40,000 people. I mean, you've done a remarkable thing, but you're the one that runs toward the fire, not away from it. Nazarene Fund, Mercury One, they're already in the ground, on the ground in Syria. They're ready to go. We have the people. We have the contacts. Believe it or not, they have the courage. I don't. They do. We just need the fuel and your help. If we don't, it's going to turn into another Rwanda. It's really bad. Please pass this on to your pastor or whoever that you know might care and can help. I want you to just go to mercury1.org mercury1.org I don't know which thing that you could just give it to the general fund. I don't know. Or you can go to nazarenefund.org either one of those. They're both working. Nazarenefund.org is probably the one that's going to really be helping the Christians in Syria and persecuted minorities. That's their only mission. So either one. Mercuryone.org or nazarenefund.org this is Glenn Beck. All right, so we don't have all the results in for 2025, but there's some early indications of violent crime is going down in America. It's almost as if they're a bunch of new criminals just appearing out of the woodwork every day. And then someone came along and stopped them. What happened there? Anyway, while the good news is that it's going down, bad news is all it takes is one encounter. You could lose your life you could lose somebody close to you. It's not worth the risk. So what do you do? You arm yourself, Right? We have the second amendment for several reasons. Self protection is one of them. I am a guy who carries a gun, and I believe in my, my wife carrying a gun. But what about an encounter where the attacker doesn't have to pay with his life? They do exist. In those moments, you, you really would probably rather have a burner launcher. Because you shoot somebody in your life is going to be hell for the next year, maybe two years. It looks like a gun, but it fires nonlethal rounds. Either projectiles or tear gas pellets. Either one's gonna stop an attacker in his tracks long enough to get to the police. It's legal in all 50 states. You should own one. There's no permits or any kind of, you know, background check required. Burna by r n a.com glenn berna.com.

Buc welcome to the Glenn Beck Program. Well, let's say hello to Mr. Stubergear, executive producer on the program. Hello, Stu.
Stu Burguiere
Hello, Glenn. How are you?
Glenn Beck
I'm great. How are you? Really?
Stu Burguiere
Well, everything's going great, and I'm excited about it.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, right. That's the way to do it. And, you know, these things come up and you're like, might be interesting to see how that all works out.
Stu Burguiere
That's exactly how I feel about everything.
Glenn Beck
Well, hello, Pac Ray. Who's Glenn, who's wearing a. Looks like an official ice jacket. Yeah. And it is, of course. Yeah. Official ice agent. Yeah. Unofficially official. Wow. It's that official that it's unofficial? Yes. Keeping it on the down low. Exactly. They're pretending that you're not. They like to pretend. They give everybody a little wink. Yeah, yeah. He can't bring you in. Yeah. But they know you're wearing that anyway. But I'm wearing it. Yeah. So that must mean I can't. Right. And so do you see a lot of people run when you walk into stores with that? Almost everybody. Almost everybody where I live. Almost everybody. Really? Okay. All right. I wanted to bring you in because I, I, I heard a couple of takes, a couple of audio pieces on your show today, and I, I just wanted you to take, take us through Hank Johnson and Al Green. Uh, which, which one do you want to start with? Oh, man, it's so hard to choose. I know. Let's start with Al Green. Yeah. I was going to suggest Al Green. Uh, you know, he was the guy who stood up last week with a cane. I really did. Anybody el think, oh, my gosh, it's 1853. Yes. Right. Yes. He's gonna go up and try to beat Donald Trump to death with a cane. Anyway, here he is claiming that. Well, you listen. Cut 11 is invidious discrimination in the House of Representatives. I'm a son of the segregated South. The rights that the Constitution recognized for me, my friends and neighbors denied. I had to sit in the back of the bus balcony of the movie, drink from a colored water fountain, and my relatives, who committed some crimes were locked up in the bottom of the jail. I know what invidious discrimination looks like. The Klan burned across in my yard. I have. I know what it smells like. I was in filthy waiting rooms, and I've been in places where I didn't want to be. And I know what it sounds like. I've been called all kinds of ugly names. So I know invidious discrimination. And when the speaker decided that I would be removed, and then there was this oh, boy motion, this resolution to censor me, it was. It became obvious to me that I was not being as others were. And candidly, speaking of that word discrimination, it is invidious. I'm not sure I've ever heard the word. Yeah, I had it until now, but it is an actual word. It. It. And what does it mean?
Stu Burguiere
Likely to arouse or incur resentment or anger in others.
Glenn Beck
Exactly. Okay. Well, it's good we learned something. I mean, he used it well. Yeah. Used it like, five times.
Stu Burguiere
And when we were talking about Al Green, I was worried when the definition started with likely to arouse, but it did come around to an actual word. Yeah.
Glenn Beck
So. So he's saying that just because he's black. When he stood. Yeah. Waving a cane at the president during the speech and yelling and screaming that. It was during his speech. Because that's. That's. That's not happened before. The closest we could find is Joe Wilson saying, you lie. And everybody did it once. He did it once. And. And that was it. And then everybody apologized for it, and he was censored the next day. But he stood up with a cane. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And would not sit back down either. Because he was black. Yeah. It's in vigilance. Discrimination. Okay. All right, good. All right. Yeah. Now, Hank Johnson. Yeah. Okay. He's brilliant. And you might remember him from worrying about Guam tipping over and capsizing. Yeah, yeah. Sizing if so the guy. No. Only he's a thinker. Only if we put all of the Marines on one side of the island, then it would capsize. Right.
Stu Burguiere
Because she wasn't just randomly saying the island would capsize. He was saying if we move too many troops to one side of it, it would 10,000.
Glenn Beck
He said if their 10,000 troops were put there. Of course that's good.
Stu Burguiere
They leave out the context. I know.
Glenn Beck
They want to make fair. Right. We want to be fair. It's invidious. That's what that is. Yeah. Let's go to cut 12. Here is Hank Johnson. All of the ways in which they can kill public education from defunding it from a federal level and then also enabling state monies and local monies to flow into the private for profit school district setup that is going. That is ongoing. It's a recipe to make education unavailable to black people. And where does that then leave us? Puts us back to when America was great and we were picking cotton and America's not great back then. The productivity that they are putting. My Latino brothers and sisters who this is great. Migrate here to do that work because we are not suited intellectually to do it anymore. Wait, and. But they would have us back confined to doing that kind of work. That was invidious. We gotta watch out for where we are headed. And it's the people that will save our democracy that will have this movement towards the past that, that Trump has. Can we stop for just say. I just have a couple questions here, Pat. So did he just say that blacks were no longer intellectually suited for field work? Yeah. I'm not sure if he's talking about blacks or Americans in general, but yeah, we're. We're intellectually not suited for it, so. Meaning we're above that. I guess Hispanics are. Yeah, but Hispanics are. They're not above doing that. They're suited. I guess they're intellectually suited. Suited for it. Yeah. I mean, there's, there's a difference between I'm above that, which is absolutely wrong, and I'm not intellectually suited for that work. But you are. What? Yeah. What does that even mean?
Stu Burguiere
Would that be racism? Would you say?
Glenn Beck
I think it's racism.
Stu Burguiere
No. Likely to arouse.
Glenn Beck
Yes.
Stu Burguiere
Okay.
Glenn Beck
Okay. Not really.
Stu Burguiere
I'm sorry, I left the second part of that definition.
Glenn Beck
So then he also says that it's Trump's plan to close the Department of Education to keep people from being educated. But if I could be wrong. Help me out with the facts. I think since the Department of Education was put into place Our test scores have gone way down. And so, like, like, not just black kids, like, no kids graduate now with more than like a third grade lead reading level. That's what's putting people in chains. I don't, I don't know if he understands that, but the entire system as it's built and everyone should be aware of this. You know, they keep saying, what's going to happen to our schools? What's going to happen to. What has happened to our schools? Right, yeah. President Trump's talked about that pretty extensively. There were 40th among industrialized nations. We spend by far the most amount of money. We're number one in spending, and we're 40th in education. So there's a problem there. Yeah, there's a big, big problem there. And part of it, honestly, I mean, when will, you know, anybody who is stuck in 1965 is not going to get this. They're not going to get this because they're stuck in 1965 and they don't see that the world has dramatically changed and they still look at people like Johnson, one of the biggest racists of my lifetime as a president. They don't see him as doing anything but good. Right. I truly believe, whether he knew it or not, what he did completely destroyed black families, black children, enslaved them. And until we understand that, if you look at the timeline, you see that proven out. I know. Over and over and over again in almost every way. Yep and yep. I mean, when are people. We have got to stop looking at the government as wanting to do good. Maybe they did at some time. I don't know. Our founders would have said, no, it never does that. It never does that because people are in charge. So you always look at it as a hostile entity. That's why you keep it under wraps. But let's just say they wanted to do good. Good. Okay? Everybody in the. In the government wants to do good, but they're not. Okay, they're not. So for us to say, let's just keep going down this path is an act of insanity. All we do is throw more money, grow the government, which is not working by any measurement. It's not working. Everybody's so upset about, oh, my gosh, we shut down usaid. First of all, USAID is a CIA operation. It is. It was designed to look like aid, but it's a CIA op. That's what it is. So first of all, you got to learn that, man. Learn that. Second of all, even if, even if it was, you know, for aid and can anybody Tell me why we should spend maybe 20 cents on every dollar that goes there. And I'm being generous. Maybe 20 cents of those dollars actually goes to help people. The rest of it is all about control and manipulation of other people's countries. And what's left is graft and just incompetence and loss. Why would we do that? Why are we focusing that? Maybe 20 cents instead of the 80 cents? You know, if, if we were losing 20 cents on every dollar, I'd still be pissed. But we're not. We're getting 20 cents of what is, what we really think we're getting. And 80 cents to bad stuff. Why, why, why? How do you defend that? You can't. Not if you're reasonable. Not if you're common sense American. You can't. Unless you say government always means to do well. And gosh, we're just what we're trying. Right, but when have they proven that to be true? Recently.
Stu Burguiere
And if we listen to you, everyone in Guam would be in the ocean right now. That's, that's, there's that.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, and you're right, you're right, you're right, you're right, Stu, thank you very much. I just want everybody in Guam to. All right, thank you. Thanks, Pat. Thanks, Pat. On Friday, Trump Came out with something that is just. It's. It's unbelievable. The Department of Homeland Security has In our airports 200 TSA people who are clocking in simply as union reps. They don't check your bags. They don't do anything else. All they're doing is making sure that the union grows, becomes more powerful, and helps the union. Now, I don't know about you, but I have a problem with that. And this is something that Biden did right before he left office. Just increase the union representation. No, no, no, you can't do that. Uh, so I'm gonna go into that here in just a minute. Also, Trump's tariffs. I talked to. I can't tell you how many people I talked to this weekend that are coming to me now, and they're like, okay, Glenn, Glad. Glenn. Glenn, you're reasonable, right? I mean, Trump is crazy. And I'm like, no, no, he's not. Well, I mean, okay, okay, I know you don't think that, but, I mean, come on, you gotta see reason here. Okay? Make your case. And it's all about the tariffs and everything else. And I just want to. I think I can help you talk to your friends who are unhinged about Trump and Zelinsky and Trump and the cuts in Washington and. And the tariffs. It is. Look, it's a scary time. It's a scary time, but I want to present maybe their argument, you know, the people that you're talking to, so I could see if it's the same thing that I'm hearing from people that, you know, aren't giving Trump the benefit of the doubt. And I'm. You know, you don't have to, but you do kind of want him to win. So if you want him to win, you have to stop thinking that he's absolutely crazy for just a second and go, okay. Is there any method to what I think is madness? And the answer is yes. You may not like it, you may not even agree with it, but it's not evil. It's just a different strategy, because everything is changing. That is. You know, I talked about this on Friday in our number three as I was talking about AI and encouraging you to look at AI right now in a different way. You should absolutely understand that AI can eat us down the road. But right now, it's a shovel. It's a tool. It's the best tool man has ever been given. And right now, if you learn how to use that tool, you can use it for good. At some point, it might be like. And now you will become mine. And you say, oh, uh, you're no longer a shovel. Looks like you're looking at me as the shovel. No, thank you. I'm not a tool of you, you're a tool of mine. But you have to be reasonable on things that are happening and understand that the entire world is changing and Donald Trump is a big part of that. And it's not just we've gone crazy. No, he's trying to change 100 years of direction. And in my opinion, and a fairly well educated opinion, because I know the history of the last 120 years with the progressive movement, I see what he's trying to do and he's trying to do it all at once. What was done over a hundred plus years, he's trying to reverse in the next four. And it's going to be uncomfortable and it's going to raise some units eyebrows, but I want you to be able to explain it to your friends. And we'll do that. Coming up in just a second. You sick, twisted freak. Foreign this is Glenn Beck. The hurricanes of 2024 are behind us. Rubble is still the rebel, still is happening everywhere. FEMA stretched so thin, not to mention on thin ice with the President. During that time, the power grids flickered, shelves in the store went bare quickly, families suffered and the media just moved on. All right, I want to talk to you about chaos, the chaos that Donald Trump is causing all over the world. Okay, Is he, is he, is this chaos? Or is this a plan that you don't like? And if you want to talk about chaos, let's look at the other side as well. There are, there's chaos at ActBlue. In fact, in a letter to ActBlue's board of directors, this comes from the New York Times. There is a, quote, alarming pattern of high level exits that is eroding our confidence in the stability of the organization. It is toxic chaos. Oh, now Trump doesn't have anything to do with that, but maybe a little bit of corruption might. We'll get into that and so much more this hour. Standby. Several top officials, including the highest ranking legal officer at ActBlue have reportedly jumped shit in recent weeks, while those who remain are allegedly stuck dealing with a culture of volatility and toxicity. In a letter to Act Blues board of directors obtained by the New York Times, unions representing the group's workers identified seven officials who recently quit and stressed the alarming pattern of high level exits. Senior senior staff departures reportedly began on February 21, two weeks after the organization reportedly provided congressional investigators with an update regarding ActBlue Security, their fraud prevention measures and related procedures. Act Blue we have known is I believe appears to be a money laundering system for the left and there's a lot of money going through there. I don't know if any if DOGE is going to find any connections to Act Blue, but I wouldn't be surprised. Why are all these people leaving? Because they know this Game is over. And that's why people are freaking out in Washington. They are freaking out in Washington because they know the game is over. Now, there are those people that are in the government that believe that they're doing the patriotic thing because they believe they know better than you, the people who elect presidents, or the president himself. You would not want this if it was your guy in office, right? Why wouldn't you want it? Why wouldn't you want a bunch of, let's say, Republicans that are in the deep state that didn't give a flying crap what Joe Biden said and wasn't executing his plan? Why wouldn't you like that? You wouldn't like that because that's not what the people voted for. The people voted for the president, not for these unelected bureaucrats that are faceless, nameless, and have complete control, apparently, over your country and your life. No, you wouldn't like it. And I talked to some people this weekend that are very upset about Zelensky and how the president treated Zelinsky. You've got to watch the entire thing. People who are watching the clip to when the vice president steps in and says, hold on here. That's. That's where people start. That's not the beginning. There's 20 minutes prior to that where Donald Trump and JD Vance were trying to disarm Zelensky, trying to get him to. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Not appropriate here. Stop. But it took him 20 minutes before JD Vance finally just snapped and said, stop it. So you have to inform yourself and not just the clips. I am. I'm a little uncomfortable by the way the tariffs are going with Canada and Mexico. Not so much Mexico, but definitely Canada. Mexico is just a. I'm sorry, but it's just an absolute corrupt country, and they've got to get control of those cartels, and we have to get control of those cartels as well, and make sure we're not doing business with any of the cartels, which I'm not convinced we're not. Um, but Canada is one of these countries. Come on. It's Canada. It's Canada. We've always liked Canada. Canada's always liked us. Okay? There is a $1.2 trillion online with our trade relationship, okay? And everybody's saying, oh, my gosh, this will have a ripple effect. It's going to just cost everybody. And you know what? It might. It might. I don't know, it might. On the surface, it is really tempting to see what everything that Donald Trump is doing as chaos. He's Just swinging everybody and he's hitting our friends and he's hitting our supposed friends and he's just taking out everybody that, but that's not really what's going on. And I, I, I want you to understand this so you can share this to your friends or your family who maybe are freaking out. What are they? We're pissing off Canada. I know, I don't like it either. I don't like it. But it's not chaos. It is a strategy. And you are dealing with the best negotiator America has ever had in office ever. And this is the strategy that people in America elected Trump to execute. Now, maybe your friend didn't or your family didn't because they didn't vote for him, okay? But the majority of people did, okay? Electoral college and the popular vote and the county swung by 20 points to the red. So this is a mandate, it is a movement. And it's not like other presidents that are like, you know, I'm, I'm gonna be just like you when I get in. I'm gonna fight for everything you're saying you're gonna fight for cuz I'm just like you. And boy, that thing that I don't even address ever. But I just love what you're saying there. I got your back. And then they go in and they don't have your back. That's not what happened this time. First of all, people didn't vote for Donald Trump like they voted for Joe Biden. Joe Biden they voted for. Cuz it wasn't Trump, okay? That's not what happened this time around. When you vote for somebody who's not the other guy. Well, what is it you're getting in that case you got, I'm gonna make your boy a girl. Nobody was for that. Nobody voted for that. Maybe extremists, but we didn't even know that was even coming our way until what, six months or eight months into the presidency. And then all of a sudden, dei, esg, all of this stuff was a big story. Most people didn't vote for that. They did vote for changing the direction of America. They were tired of corruption, they're tired of bureaucrats telling them how to live their life where they didn't get to vote on it. They're tired of being screwed by other countries. I just, we just want a fair and balanced playing field. I don't like tariffs. I do like reciprocal tariffs. You put a tax on our milk, we'll put a tax on your milk. You don't want A tax on your milk. Then don't put a tax. And, and we won't tax you either. I like that. But that's what we're playing now is people just think we're going to take out Canada. I want you to think of this differently with your friends. And maybe your friends won't like this example, but it's true. When Ronald Reagan stood up, it was, I think it was in March of 83, and he's just gotten in and he's standing, I think it was at a breakfast or something. And he stood up and he said, and Russia, the Soviet Union is an evil empire. And everybody went, oh, my gosh. He just said, an evil empire. That's so scary. And everybody, even people who liked him were like, don't say that. They'll nuke us. And he's like, no, you're never gonna beat them. We cannot do. Now listen to this. We cannot continue to play the game the same way we've been playing it for 50 years, because it's not getting us anywhere. In fact, it might be hurting us. We know with all of our foreign policy that we've done, getting us into endless wars, spending all kinds of money, racking up a debt of $35 trillion, not knowing what the truth is because the government's no longer transparent. None of that works. None of that works. And that's what Donald Trump was, was saying and that's what people voted for, a change. I think that's what people actually voted for when it came to Barack Obama, because all of this transparency, everything was opaque under George W. Bush. You were like, wait, what are we doing there? Why, why is it I don't want necessarily these never ending wars and now I've got, you know, people checking my underpants at the airport. What are we doing? That's why they wanted change. Transparency. They wanted change. But he never defined the change. Donald Trump was very clear. Anybody who didn't know that massive tariffs were coming just weren't paying attention. Okay? When Reagan did it, it wasn't a slip of the tongue, it was deliberate. It was a public shot across the bow. He did it in public because he wanted to change the world. And while everybody else was going, oh my gosh, and critics, Democrats, everybody, he's going to, it's going to be catastrophic. He's going to get us nuked. By Friday, all the squirrels will be dead. What are squirrels are going to be? What? Reagan wasn't playing for the applause. He was playing to win. His words were backed by a military buildup and unrelenting pressure, and it forced the Soviet to confront their own fragility. They couldn't do it by 1989. Remember, it was 1983 when he said evil empire. And we were, we were at. At equal terms in the world. We were both world superpowers that could annihilate the other one at the drop of a hat. That was 1983. Evil empire. By 1989, the Berlin Wall was rubble, all because Reagan had the balls to say it and then not blink. Now we could have been vaporized. Yes, but if you want to change the world, you're going to have. I have this saying that somebody gave to me a long time ago, and I. And I live my life by it. Risk big, win big. Risk big, lose big. Just know the odds before you put your money down on the table. That's why I don't like Vegas. I know the odds are not in my favor. So, yes, I could risk big, but I probably will lose big because the odds are not in my favor when it comes to Ronald Reagan's Soviet empire. He had a plan, and so the odds he knew were in our favor. The same thing with Donald Trump. Trump, we can't afford a trade war, but neither can they. So let's all play nice with one another, shall we? This is the same kind of leadership that Ronald Reagan had. They. If we elected Donald Trump to fight to take on a global trade system, to take on the deficit and the spending, we can't fire all these people. It's causing all kinds of chaos. Wait, are you okay? Honestly, are you okay with a good portion of our money raised in taxes going to pay for salaries and benefits the way it is? We have 6 million plus employees. For what? For what? When you see how corrupt it is, why can't we return some of that power? Well, you can't cut the Department of Education. Why not? He pledged he was going to. He told everyone on the campaign trail he's going, going to. And then when he tries, everybody says we've got to preserve the why it doesn't work. Show me the evidence that it works. Well, you're gonna just leave all of the poor children out to. To educationally starve? They're starving to death right now. They can't read. When you don't teach children to read, they become slaves to whomever can read. How is that compassion? How is that good? How is that something you want to preserve? It all comes down to one thing, and this is what you're actually fighting. And I'll explain it to you in 60 seconds. Deep in the quiet of a mother's womb. If you listen carefully, there is a voice. Not. Not that voice. It's. It's a heartbeat. It's saying, there's life in here. I made in the image of God, just like you. Our culture hasn't spent very long, you know, actually listening. We've been plugging our ears because we don't want to hear that voice. Some people don't want to hear. It's inconvenient. Expecting mothers, especially the desperate, often choose to silence that voice. They don't even want to think about it because they're desperate. It. Instead of looking at people and saying, you're a baby killer, why don't we look at people and say, how can we help you to hear that voice? That is exactly what this organization does. That will. Will help you. It will help these women hear that voice because they offer free ultrasounds to expecting mothers. The. The organization is preborn at least half of the time. That's all it takes to convince a woman she's carrying a living human being and she'll change her mind. However, the other big obstacle is I can't. I don't have any support. Will you do with a preborn clinic? Because they care about the baby and the mom and they'll help her for two years after the baby is born. Preborn.com Beck you're saving lives. Hit pound 250, keyword baby. Make a donation of any size that you can. Maybe it's a monthly contribution. Preborn.com Beck Every 28 bucks buys another ultrasound. Preborn.com Beck Sponsored by Preborn 10 seconds station ID so let's just look at Canada and the tariffs here for a second. 270% tariffs on our dairy imports. $40 billion for, you know, in good surplus. That's not a quirk. You know, Donald Trump keeps saying this, and people don't realize this is true. The EU was designed to be able to compete against the United States, okay? They are economic competitors. That doesn't mean they're enemies. The same thing with Canada. And when you're the rich person, believe me, look at how people look at rich people. They haven't paid their fair share in taxes. That's the way they view us, okay? We pay more for our medical prescriptions here in America than they do overseas because we even view ourselves politically. When the people in power actually have anything to say about it, they're like, well, we're the richest country in the world, so we should Pay more. No. Can somebody defend us as well? That's what Donald Trump is. Is. Here's what this boils down to. It boils down to your friends are not paying attention because they've already made their mind up about Donald Trump. They don't know who he is. Okay? Did you like it when he went over and he was like, yeah, that little guy, missile boy. And he was saying that about Kim Jong Un who had his finger on a. The launch button. You're like, okay, this isn't good. What happened? What happened? We won. And he got American citizens that were being held hostage out of there. All of a sudden he's friends with him? No, he was just calling him, you know, rocket man Just like 10 minutes ago. This is what he does. This is how he negotiates. It's. It's his playbook is provoke, pressure, prevail. That's what it is. So people are just afraid because it's a different approach. And nobody likes to upset the. You know, it's like, have you ever. Do you have anybody? I'm horrible negotiator. I go in to buy a car. I don't even. I don't even go. I send a friend in because I'm like, I can't negotiate. I always feel bad. I'm like, I don't know. I don't want to screw you. Horrible. Horrible. So I have a good friend who goes in, Robert, my brother, he goes in and he negotiate, and he loves it, okay? Because that's the game they play all day, and they know you don't like it, and so you're like, I don't know. I don't want to be. I mean, I just want everything to be fair and nice and happy. And now when you're negotiating, you bring the biggest dog to the negotiating table. You can get somebody that knows how to play their game as well as they do, if not better, and doesn't blink. That's how you get a good deal. That's what Donald Trump is. And you're the person like me in the car dealership going, well. But no, I. We don't. He doesn't really mean that. He's. I don't know, maybe he's had a really bad day. But, Ike, Mr. Car Salesman, I appreciate your family. I don't want your family to starve. They're not going to starve. This is the game they play, and nobody likes to play that game. That's why you hire someone like Donald Trump to come in and play that game. Your job is to not freak out. Because if you freak out, the other side sees the whole family sitting there squirming and then they just look at you like, really? Can you believe this guy who's negotiating on your behalf? He's a monster. And what happens? The family starts to squirm and they blink. Don't blink. You may not like the style, but this is what we voted for. Complete change. This is is Glenn Beck. We'll take you through the vault and you're going to bring your family in if you'd like to be a part of this. And you will see part of our almost 160, 170,000 artifacts. And you'll be able to learn history from Christopher Columbus all the way till about 1960. And David Barton and Tim Barton, his son and I are teaching it and letting the artifacts and the documents speak for themselves. It's great. All you have to do is just go to mercury1.org also, if you have kids that are in college or you happen to be in college, 18 to 25 year olds, hands on experience, study the original historic documents. All you have to do is just go to American Journey.org and sign up. There's two sessions, one in June and one in July here again in Irvine. They're a week long and again only for students 18 to 25. And then we have also a teachers conference. If you are a teacher trying to actually teach American history, you get access to the original documents, we show you how to use them, etc. Etc. You can register for that one@wallbuilders.com but it's going to be a very busy summer. If you want any of those, you can find them now@mercury1.org or wall builders.
Stu Burguiere
Thinking about your last segment, Glenn, about how to understand what Trump is trying to do here.
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
Stu Burguiere
And I think I pretty much totally agree with you on when it comes to his approach. Right. Like, I find it really frustrating to watch the media and honestly a lot of people on, you know, conservative liberal media all over the board, right. Losing their mind either positively or negatively on every little step of his negotiations. Right. Like every time he says something, there's 15 New York Times pieces about how crazy it is and what it's going to do. And then when he winds up being a negotiation a few weeks later, like there's nothing.
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
Stu Burguiere
There's just like, oh, gosh, you know.
Glenn Beck
Reagan never got the credit. Never got credit.
Stu Burguiere
And that's okay, you know, as Trump I think would understand at some level, you know, there's no limit to what you can accomplish if you don't care who gets the credit. And I know he does certainly care who gets the credit. That's something we could definitely say about Trump. But he's smart enough to know the negotiation is the bigger part of that.
Glenn Beck
Here's the thing. People look at him and think he's a big bully. He's not. He's a tremendous negotiator. He wants to walk away in situations where everyone wins. He knows he's a good enough negotiator to know everyone's got to win. Why do you think he's saying, Canada, you're going to be the 51st state? So when we just have no tariffs and they've stopped the drugs from coming over and the terrorists from coming over and the tariffs, you know, go away, everybody's gonna say he didn't win. They're not the 50. Canada is like, see, we beat him. We're not the 51st state. He's not a bully. He is. He's really, really smart. You have to judge the outcome. Outcome. Not the optics of it, the outcome.
Stu Burguiere
And that's what I would. And I don't think it's an addendum to what you said. I just. It's just to add a little more clarification on this. Past presidents, we've often judged by the way they've negotiated in these situations. We did it with the red line in Syria. Right. We did it with Obama. We do that all the time. And people say, well, you have a double standard with Trump. My answer to that is, yeah, I kinda do. And the reason I do is because he's pretty unique. I don't know if anyone's noticed this in American history. I think Donald Trump's relatively unique. He does things in a different way.
Glenn Beck
And I think.
Stu Burguiere
I think to understand what he's doing, you have to have a double standard. If I chase around every single thing he says and freak out about it or say it's the greatest thing ever, then I will be, you'd be wrong. I will be chasing my tail and I will be insane. And that's what the media does all the time. So I refuse to do that. However, there is the addendum to that, which is he does need to be judged as to whether these policies work or not.
Glenn Beck
Right.
Stu Burguiere
You have to judge the results. You can't just judge nothing and say, this is his strategy and therefore it's fine.
Glenn Beck
Stu, let me give you an example. And I. I know there's got to be another business example out there, but let me just talk in a way and maybe you can come up with another example that relates to regular people. I've done radio for my whole life, and here's what happens. People are like, we want to change. We ought to change. We're going to change shows. We're going to change it up. We want to hire you. Then you get in, you start to change, and everybody's like, well, not that change. We need it to be a little bit more like what it was. And you're like, no, it. That didn't work.
Stu Burguiere
Right?
Glenn Beck
You know, and then. And. All right, we'll give you six more weeks. And you're like, six. It takes two years to turn things in radio, okay? That is exactly what we have to do now. You don't judge Donald Trump six or eight weeks into it. You are gonna. We're gonna have to look at the midterms. Okay? Is the ship turning in the direction that we want it to go? You. You just hired him to do a job. Let him do the job. Stop trying to micromanage. You hired somebody very, very unique. Yeah, I know. Very unique. But I'd like him to be much more, you know, like Ronald Reagan, or I'd like him to be much more, you know, unique, like Bill Clinton. Those guys weren't unique. Reagan was to some degree, but everybody else was playing the same game. He, Donald Trump. We have asked, we've said, we all admit it. $34 trillion doesn't work. We are getting owned by everybody else in the world, okay? The EU was set up to compete against us. And because we've been kicking rocks in the. In the parking lot going, we're such a bad country. We just have so much, and nobody has anything else. And gosh, we've just. We've done everything that was so colonial. We're even wearing wigs still. I just feel bad for what the Europeans and that we're letting the Europeans walk all over us. No, it's not 1945. It's not even 1955. 65, 75, 85, 95. Oh, 5. 15. It's about to slip out of 25. Let's. Let's reevaluate things and do things differently. And that's what he's doing.
Stu Burguiere
Yeah, I think that's. That is absolutely true. I mean, I think you really see that clearly with Ukraine, maybe as most clearly as possible. He's looking at a situation where Ukraine has been promised for two and a half years that they will get as much money as they want for as long as it takes.
Glenn Beck
Correct.
Stu Burguiere
Right. And he has to shake them out of that he has to convince them that's not going to happen anymore to get them to come back to the table. So he did say, I mean, you saw, he said it, he was like, oh, you know, Zelensky is a dictator. He's a dictator. He's the worst guy in the world. And then when someone asked him about it, he said, I don't think I said that. And he smiled, right? Like this is all for him to get to a goal. And that's.
Glenn Beck
And did you notice he's taking on Russia this week? He's like, you know Russia, you don't come to the table. We got him at the table. You don't come to the table. I gotta give you.
Stu Burguiere
He's talking about additional sanctions on Russia. This man who loves Vladimir Putin so much. So you have to watch it and you have to judge the results. I remember in his first term, he was over in, I think it was in Europe. And he's talking to all these European leaders and he's talking about tariffs. Cuz he loves tariffs. As, you know, favorite word is tariffs. And he said to them, I think it was, maybe it was the G6 or one of those meetings, and he said, you know what? He's like, what I would like here is we could just all come together and turn off all tariffs. And so no one has any. Let's do that right now. Anyone into that? Who's into that? Now he really does think tariffs are a good policy. I don't agree with him on that. However, I think he probably would come around to a situation where everyone had zero tariffs if they would.
Glenn Beck
Yes.
Stu Burguiere
But he was also challenging them to. You guys are so serious about not liking tariffs. Let's go to zero right now.
Glenn Beck
Right.
Stu Burguiere
Knowing they wouldn't do it.
Glenn Beck
Correct.
Stu Burguiere
Now you can go crazy and drive yourself insane and say, well, Donald Trump promised zero tariffs and now he's coming with all these.
Glenn Beck
Or you can go the other way.
Stu Burguiere
And say he's once 58% tariffs on every country and now he's backed off of them. You can play that game with your mind if you wish. You can turn your entire life upside down panicking every time the man opens his mouth, which is what the media constantly does. It's impossible to understand. Or you could step back and look at the results of his policies. What policy did he enact and did it work? North Korea's a good example of that too. Glenn, you brought that one up. He was calling him little rocket Man. Then he was saying it was his best friend at the End of that. That flare up at that time wound up not turning into nuclear missiles flying across the globe and did eventually turn into a good enough relationship that we brought some hostages home. I wouldn't say it solved the North.
Glenn Beck
Korea situation more under control than it ever has been before.
Stu Burguiere
Since it was an anti inflammatory drug, things are common. They're not perfect. They're still doing terrible things to their people. We're not. The human rights violations still going on. North Korea's not a good place. Kim Jong Un is not a good guy. That being said, it's a little bit better then. And I think you could judge him on the outcome of that to this point. And I think that part worked. But that also has to come with, if tariffs wind up having really negative consequences on the economy and he keeps them on, he's going to pay for that policy because his approval ratings will go down.
Glenn Beck
Correct.
Stu Burguiere
The people in the middle who embraced him because they loved the economy and were excited about what he would do, if it's bad for them, they will turn.
Glenn Beck
And we really think he doesn't know.
Stu Burguiere
Of course he knows.
Glenn Beck
He's going to pay a huge price if they don't work. Right.
Stu Burguiere
I mean, that's what you judge him on.
Glenn Beck
Correct? Right.
Stu Burguiere
He wants to be judged on that. That, I think, long term.
Glenn Beck
Here's a really good way to look at this. So what was it last week and the week before? Everybody's like, he loves Russia, just love them. He hates the Ukrainian people, wants them all to die. Speak Russian. I think most of them do anyway. So that's all they were saying. Now, now. A senior White House official came out last couple of days. Trump's rage. Trump's rage has been intensifying. Oh, okay. Why? Why intensifying? Due to Russia's behavior and its escalation on strikes on Ukraine. Wait a minute, I thought he loves. So he said, quote, based on the fact that Russia is absolutely pounding Ukraine on the battlefield right now, I'm strongly considering large scale banking sanctions, sanctions, tariffs on Russia until a cease fire and final settlement of agreement on peace is reached. Get to the table right now before it's too late. I thought. Wait a minute. I thought he loved. I thought he loved Russia. I thought he was all for Putin. He's weird negotiating and with a real.
Stu Burguiere
End in mind, which is he legitimately top of his priority list, wants the killing to stop.
Glenn Beck
Right.
Stu Burguiere
And wants that war to end.
Glenn Beck
And the same thing can be said with what he's doing to the government. He was given a mandate whether you like it or not, reduce the size of government, reduce the deficit. So he's reducing the size of government, which is a pain in your ass. And you all know every single American knows it doesn't work. It's not working. It's not good. So why would we keep all of this. He's going in and he's being as surgical as he can, but he also knows it took a hundred years to grow at this side size. And he's got about eight months to pare it down. And everybody's whining, oh, you know, that was a good part. Well, everybody's gonna have a, that's a good part. I'm gonna have things that he cuts, that I'm like, that was a good part. You are doing radical surgery right now. Radical. And it's, we're not going to all love it, but if you want to save the patient, that's what has to be done. And you have to stop saying, yeah, but your hair will fall out. And I really like my hair. Do you want to live or not? Do you want the patient to live and go on and fight another day stronger and better or not? That's the question you have to ask. Sometimes the help you need comes from a place you'd never suspect. For instance, let's say your parents at a kid's school board meeting fighting tooth and nail against the evils and you know, the stuff that they're trying to put in your kid's head. Lonely battle sometimes, but you know who's there fighting, right, right along with you in many cases. Patriot Mobile, a cell phone service, has your back. Yeah. It's a Christian owned company. They have really two important things. They have amazing coverage and us based customer service. And they fight every day for the values that built this nation. Every call you make, every text you send when you're on Patriot Mobile helps to fund causes that you believe in, not the radical left's agenda. They're America's only Christian conservative mobile phone company and their mission is to passionately defend our God given constitutional rights and freedoms and to glorify God. Right now I want you to go to patriot mobile.com beck or call 972-patriot. Get a free month of service with the promo code. Beck, switch to Patriot Mobile today. Defend freedom with every call and every text you make. Visit patriot mobile.com beck or call 972-patriot back. We'll be right back. Welcome to the Glenn Beck program. We are so glad you're here. I don't know if anybody I'd love to hear from you today. 888-727. Beck, if you happen to be listening to Friday's podcast where I talked about AI, I was in Friday night, I was in Florida and I was giving a, giving a talk to a, a really great charity and, and talking to them about AI and how you've got to start using it right now, right now. And you know, one of the guys on my, on my security detail was talking me today and he's like, Glenn, I used it this weekend like you said and I started asking it questions about my field and the things that I've been thinking. And he said I just got, got sucked into. Oh my gosh, look how much it knows about everything. Have you used it, Sarah? Did you use it this weekend? You, you just have to play with it. Please do not. If you're using Grok3, please do not use the Unhinged or the Talk Dirty to me or any of that stuff. No, do not allow it to become a personal friend. That's your first barrier. Don't do that. You have to, you have to look at this tool as a shovel because it eventually it's going to look at you as a tool, as a shovel. And if you aren't familiar with it now, if you're not using it now in your own life and as I said on Friday, podcast showed you how as a parent you can use it. If you don't start using it that way, it will begin to use you soon. So love to hear if you played with it this weekend and what you found. Back in a minute. This is Glenn Beck. Down the road where shadows hide Feel.
C
The dark on every side Stand your.
Glenn Beck
Ground when times get down Gotta face the dog and embrace the fire the fusion of entertainment and enlightenment. This is the Glenn Beck Program. Welcome to the Glen Program. We're glad that you're glad that you're here. Thank you so much for listening. On Friday, I talked a little bit about AI and asked you to play around with Brock. If you did, I'd love to hear what you learned or what you discovered or what you're concerned about because this is going to be a reality and I, I really want you to understand it so you can get ahead because if you're not using it, it will eventually use you and it's going to be so misused. I mean I'm working on a handbook of ethics right now, not only for my staff when it comes to research and everything else, but also for you because nobody, I don't want the experts Building the ethics on this. We saw what they happened with, you know, hey, we got the ethics of Instagram. No, thank you. We've got an ethics team here at Google. You're evil. I want to kind of lead in my own world, my own ethics, because I think mine are probably a little higher standard than what everybody else is going to come up with. And so I want to hear from you, what did you discover if you did anything with it this weekend? Back in just a second. Also, I want to tell you about the Department of Homeland Security. Don't try. Trump dropped the hammer on that. And it's a really good hammer on this one. We'll talk about that coming up first. Spring is stirring and with it, by the way, Daylight savings time. What a piece of crap, that. Here's my suggestion. We're not going to drop it. Here's my suggestion, when we fall back, we do that on a Saturday, but we fall back back 20, 23 hours. Okay? So we get an extra Saturday out of the deal when we spring ahead. We spring ahead 20, 25 hours. But we do that now.
Stu Burguiere
We're skipping whole days.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, we do that on a Monday. So we skip Monday and we're right in on Tuesday. Come on, who's with me on that? Anyway, spring is, is stirring and the real estate market is starting to stir again. Buyers are starting to wake up. Sellers are testing the water to see if the buyers are willing, you know, what are they willing to pay. Seen it dozens of times and so have you right now. If you're thinking about buying or selling or maybe even planning to do both, I want you to consider this. Buying or selling a home isn't just part of a transaction. It's where one chapter of your story ends and a new one begins. Given that it is really important and a lot of on the line, why wouldn't you want to have help from an expert? I started realestate agentsitrust.com over a decade ago because I was looking myself for real estate agents that I could trust. And I started working with the 500 Best Real Estate agents in the country, according to the Wall Street Journal. And I learned a lot from them. And then we started looking to looking for other people like that. And we vetted down to the tiniest detail so somebody that we knew you could trust because we trusted with a handshake. Real estate agents I trust dot com. Go there now, find the right real estate agent for you. Real estate agents I trust dot com. All right, I'm going to tell you about The Department of Homeland Security here in just a second. But I want to talk to you about AI a little bit more today. We're just going to spend a few minutes on this, but I think we should spend a few minutes on this every day because I think people are waking up. It's just starting to become reality to the people who are paying attention. And the people who are paying attention now are going to be the ones that are the most likely to survive the first round of cuts. And you're going to, hopefully you will see how to ethically use it it. Because if you just use this to replicate your job, you know, I know I've got, I've got hours and hours every day I spend on a show prep, okay? But I've been using AI to help look for sources on things. And I mean, sources like that I would never find. You know, what does the GAO say about this? I'm not looking at the New York Times or anybody else. I. It's like I've taken and I have a big staff that does research every day and it allows me to look at things that would take us forever to look at and to digest. And we can digest it quickly. Then I can give it to my research team and say, just check on that. It says, page 437, paragraph 14 says this. Can you just make sure that that's exactly what it says and means if you're using this to take your work and. Well, let me say it this way, using AI is like adding 10 people to your job. You no longer have to do the grunt work. It allows you to be a thinker. So you just need to get it to do all of the grunt work for you so you don't have to think about all that stuff you put it in so it can make what you do so much better. If you're using it just to do your job, okay, you might be done earlier in the day. My day has gotten much longer now using AI, but I am further ahead on a whole bunch of stuff. And if you use it just to copy what you do, then you are, you're replaceable. You're absolutely replaceable because you're the driver, you're the artist. You're the one who has the unique piece of humanity that it doesn't have. You can put things together that it won't. And so use it as a tool to say, if I had a staff of 10, if I had a staff of 100, what could I get done? How could I make myself the most valuable employee right now it's not just coming in with the best report that Grok wrote. That would be bad because. Do you know about. How did you. What. What does all of this mean? It's a way for you to not only knock it out of the park with whatever you're doing right now, make what you do better, but then it's also about adding other things to your job so you make yourself the most valuable person in the building. Okay. Every job is going to be. My job is going to be. It's. There's going to come a time where I don't think real people will. I mean, I think real people will become a thing again, like handmade. But I think that there's going to be a time by 2030 where a lot of the podcasts right now, I will bet you that some of the tweets that you read from people that you know, it might be AI generated. And then somebody else that you know and respect, their bot is responding to that tweet. And so it's the battle of the bots.
Stu Burguiere
That's totally happening right now.
Glenn Beck
Totally happening. I don't know. I don't know. I don't have any evidence of anybody doing it, but I can guarantee you that's happening where it's automated.
Stu Burguiere
We're still at the point too, where you can kind of maybe detect it. I don't know how long that's going to last. As you point out, it's advancing so quickly, but, like, you could still kind of feel it. I feel when I, When I read the stuff, you know, when I. When I read social media, I was telling somebody this weekend, it's like, I. I've always disliked social media, but I'm getting to the point now with it where I. There's no value to it what to me whatsoever, because I can't even tell if these people are saying these things. I feel like half the stuff I'm reading is just AI, a bunch of AI bots talking to each other. What value do I get out of that? I have access to AI. I can just ask AI if I want that.
Glenn Beck
Exactly right.
Stu Burguiere
And I don't know where that ends. Hopefully it means the entire world of social media collapses and we act as if it was a horrible archive of history.
Glenn Beck
It might.
Stu Burguiere
That being said, I don't know where that goes. Because you feel disconnected. You're just like, well, why do I care what an AI bot says about an AI written story from some crappy media source while both of the people commenting are all out drinking together? At some bar.
Glenn Beck
Those are the people who are. Those people are afraid I'm going to lose my job because of, you know, because of AI. Yeah. If you're out drinking and you're working half a day because it's doing it, believe me, at some point an unscrupulous boss is going to go, why am I paying all these people? Now a smart boss will say, why am I paying all these people? I'm going to go pay the same amount of money to somebody who actually will take and do this and make it much better and add more value because they see that this can be used as a rocket ship and we can create 10 times the value of what we're providing. That's what I'm excited about. I'm seeing the possibilities of us being able to do the things that we've always done at a much higher level, much more even buttoned up scale than we already are. Because there comes a time with even with us that we'll leave things off the, you know, we'll put it on the edit floor because we're like, I'm not sure if that's true and we haven't had time. Well, in time that's where AI can help us go out and search and make sure that this is absolutely true. And it might be impossible for us to find, but soon it won't be for AI. It will find it. But you know, there's. There's all kinds of things to talk about. I just want you to try it and just be playing with it. Not in a. Please don't use unhinged. Don't make it your friend. Don't make it your sex partner. Don't do that. Don't ever, ever blur the lines. It is a tool. Charles, you're on the Glenn Beck program.
C
Yeah. How you doing, Glenn?
Glenn Beck
Good, how are you?
C
I'm doing quite well. God bless you all and just wanted to say I thank you for connecting me with labor of Love and Susan Selam and many years ago it.
Glenn Beck
Oh wow.
C
Really created my spiritual growth. So that's so great. Eternally thank you for that. Anyway, on the Case of AI played with it a lot over the weekend on Grok and you're right for the research elements. It's fantastic.
Glenn Beck
Yes.
C
I had some charts made up for Balance Scorecard. I wrote a book on that several years ago and that's in my wheelhouse of technology and business and yeah. Creating various charts and things like that. Fantastic. Doing the deep dive on research. Really good.
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
C
But I've had a Book idea, you know, more of a novel. And I always struggle with dialogue. So I said, hey, let's see if it'll create the book that I had. So I input the parameters, and initially it was fantastic. It's a historical fiction, and it incorporated the historical elements I was going for and created the dialogue and the emotional poll. You could update it and ask it to enhance the emotion or expand on the chapter that I was working on. But at some point, it just seems to get overwhelmed by. Yeah, it falls apart and it just goes off the rails.
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
C
It can't restart it, like three times.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, yeah. Charles, your good observation, you. It can't continue going down the same road for very long because it doesn't have a memory. Its memory is so limited because it's supposed to remember everything on the Internet or at least have access to all of it. And so it just generalizes everything. And so it can't write a book. Can't. It can't write. It just can't write. I've. We've been working on things, and, you know, some members of my staff are like, well, that. I mean, would that put me out of a job? No, that wouldn't put you out of job because it can't do. Can't do. Can't continue a storyline. It all falls apart on you. Maybe someday. But I still believe that people are going to be instrumental because it takes the. The germ of an idea. If you look at this and, like, it's going to complete my work, it's going to write my book for me, you're crazy, and that's kind of evil. But if you say, for instance, Stu has known this because he's written books with me. Stu, when you get my rough draft of a book, how long would those books be?
Stu Burguiere
Oh, gosh, at least three times the amount of words that they're supposed to be.
Glenn Beck
Right. Okay. I just. I'm verbose when it comes to writing, and the biggest job is, can you edit this down? Okay, that it can do. That it can do. It can take my writing and cut it by two thirds and just keep the best parts, but it can't write a book for you. It's not going to. And nor would you. Nor would you want to. Well, it would be bad.
Stu Burguiere
It doesn't matter if it's good, but it can.
Glenn Beck
Right?
Stu Burguiere
It's capable of doing it. And I'm sure that's what a lot of people are doing, honestly, at this point. But again, there's no value in that. Like, there's no value in, in this, these things churning out books for people. Like there's nothing that, there's no value in that, that obviously you go to an author because you're looking for their perspective. And yes, they can tell Grok what their perspective is, but like not, it's.
Glenn Beck
It'S not, it's not the same. And I don't think it ever will be the same because it, because of the way it uses memory, it, the way it uses memory, it will never be able to hold it until everybody stops at, you know, at the X or, you know, Google. I don't think they'll ever do this until they open up that memory. But they're using all that memory for machine learning to get to asi. So you're only getting just a fraction of what is available to them. But they're using all of that memory to be able to churn, to produce something else. And I honestly, if you have asi, if they get asi, I really don't think we're going to get it. I think they will, but we won't. You know what I mean? Which bothers me a great deal.
Stu Burguiere
Yeah, I do feel like that is just an artificial line though, right?
Glenn Beck
I mean it is until it's an artificial line that they need to hold because everybody knows it's an existential threat to their business. Microsoft soft knows. If X gets it first, Microsoft is out of business. This should tell you something about your job. Microsoft X and Google. If you talk to people who at all use AI, you ask them when's the last time you used Google. You don't because it's so. It's almost like using, what was it? Ask Jeeves in comparison. It's like Ask Jeeves. They're going to put, somebody's going to put these gigantic corporations out. If they're that freaked out. You shouldn't be freaked out, you should learn it. Because the first thing that happens is jobs are lost. So how can I use this to keep my job and to be the most productive and thoughtful and useful human brain on the staff? Back in just a second. Things just aren't the way they used to be. In the old days you had pirates sailing vast armored ships across the seven, killing and plundering along the way. Sure, that was great. I mean, then you had the Somali pirates riding around on speedboats with machine guns until Tom Hanks got all of them. And now what kind of arm to the teeth swash buckling buccaneer do you have? You have porch pirates on scooters it's sad. It really is. I, you know, I don't want them stealing your stuff. Which is just one of the many reasons I have Simplisafe and you should have it as well. C
Hey, how you doing today?
Glenn Beck
I'm great.
C
So I took your dwell. We've been like everybody else, I suppose, you know, like afraid of the AI and when is Skynet gonna take over?
Glenn Beck
Don't. Don't lose that fear. That's healthy. Just don't let it stop you.
C
So Friday my wife and I both were like, you know what? I'm gonna give it a shot. So my plan was I'm gonna make it or get it to make me a business card size ad for you know like a periodical or whatever. Yeah, I found myself arguing with the thing all weekend because it couldn't read. You know like all equipment has like model numbers on the side of it.
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
C
And I had a picture of a force mulching machine that I use. Well, he kept arguing with me that the model number and then it was making up like fake machines aren't even out there. And I was like I spent all this time.
Glenn Beck
Okay, so Brett, here's the thing. Here's the thing. It'll do that. That you have to say that you need proof and evidence of those things. You just ask it. No, no. I want the most solid reference to the show me your research. Show me your reference. And then it stops all of that hallucination. Because until you tell it, no, no, no, I'm looking at your research. I need to know the reference. And then you go and find it. And if it hallucinated that reference, then you know, dude, no hallucination. I need it in writing the reference. And so it changes. You have to know. It's, it is like a teenager doing their homework. If they can get away with it, it will, it will absolutely do that. And it's, it's best, I think, right now, go back and argue with it on, say, build me up. Don't, don't do an ad or what, whatever. Build a business plan. Tell me what my customers, why they would be more likely to buy this product from my competitor. Tell them the competitor. Look at their competitor website. Tell me why they would be more apt to buy it there than from me. What can I do to entice people ethically? Make sure you say that ethically to buy from me instead of my competition and just see what it says. But you have a lot of playing. Don't get, don't get frustrated with it because it is very frustrating at times. Once you learn how to prompt it and ask it the right questions so it knows exactly what you're looking for. And this takes a while. Then you can start using it in deeper ways. But always go for deep, you know, think or deep, deep research. Forget about all the buttons up at the top. Think or deep research. Use those two and then watch it think. It says click here and watch me think. And it shows all the questions that it's asking. Well, I should ask this. I should ask this. I should ask this. And just that helps you learn how to think. It's an amazing thing. All right, back in just a second. This is Glenn Beck. You know, in my day, you could spend a dollar and buy a whole meal. Actually, it could at McDonald's. Remember that? $ meals. What can you get for a dollar now? Candy bar maybe, if you're lucky. Inflation is a huge problem in this country, and it remains to be seen whether it's going to go down anytime soon or go up. We don't know. No. The debt we face as a Nation is staggering. $36 trillion and counting fast. And I have not seen Congress move to do anything significant to reduce that spending. If the, if the Republicans don't reduce the debt and the deficit, then all of this is for naught. Okay, with that in mind, may I suggest that you put a hedge against those clowns in Washington. You need to safeguard what you've already made. Maybe your retirement, your wealth. Precious metals like gold and silver can do that. Call lear Capital today, 800-957-Gold. You know, there was a story that came out on Friday that I think if you missed it, most people did, you're gonna love it. It's a story about TSA and what Trump is doing to tsa. And I want to squeeze it in. I just don't think I'm gonna have enough time to do it justice. So I'm gonna bring it back tomorrow. It's perspective that you really need to hear.
Stu Burguiere
Can I ask you a question about Doge?
Glenn Beck
Yeah.
Stu Burguiere
Cause I'm pretty Doge friendly. I like it. I like the idea. I was talking to a couple people who were being somewhat, I would say, mildly critical of it. Okay. One was saying he works with the government in energy sector, and he's like, I agree with President Trump on energy. Want to make the country independent. That's what we're doing. He's like, but they've fired so many people at these agencies that, like, let's.
Glenn Beck
Just soak that in for a minute. Go ahead.
Stu Burguiere
We can't get anybody who knows what they're doing on the phone to actually accomplish these goals.
Glenn Beck
Welcome to the taxpayer that calls the irs.
Stu Burguiere
Exactly. Um, and I, but I, I, Is there. Do you make anything of that criticism?
Glenn Beck
Yeah, I think. Have you ever worked for a company and Stu, you have. That was so bloated that it couldn't get out of its own way. Okay. And then it makes dramatic cuts, and everybody's like, this is going to kill us. We don't, we can't know. I don't know who to even go to. There's not enough.
C
Right.
Glenn Beck
I know that, that that's the transition period.
Stu Burguiere
Okay.
Glenn Beck
So we're in this transition period. We'll be here for a while. It's going to get really tough until it stabilizes and you start, you know, right now, you're trying to just save the company, the country, the government, just trying to save it. So we got to cut it back. Well, that's going to cause all kinds of problems. But what is? What is? I mean, if you've ever worked for a company that was going out of business because it was just. Why? Just spending way too much money and it was way bloated. When you start firing people or when you're part of that company and you know you're fired, maybe you do. When you get past the passion of it, you do go, well, if you want to save the company, that's the only thing you can do. And yes, it got messy, but it gets better. If you're doing it right, it's going to get messy and then it'll get better. I mean, example. Example, my company.
Stu Burguiere
I mean, it happens to lots of companies, right?
Glenn Beck
It does, but I mean, you know, I'll pull myself up and say, you know, my company, we were so top heavy for a while. And it didn't. It was not. It wasn't working. And I finally had to just come in and go, you know what? I just got to clear out everybody. Yeah. I mean, and it was scary for everybody. And most people were like, glenn's going to kill the company. And it ended up saving the company.
Stu Burguiere
Yeah, you've killed it in another way many times over.
Glenn Beck
So many times.
Stu Burguiere
Maybe even a more more generalized example is what Musk did at Twitter, right, Where everyone was like, oh, my gosh, it's sites shut down, by the way. It does seem to be down today, but that's a bad example. But everyone was like, oh, it's going to be off. And it worked totally fine. I do think part of this, though, is that approach. That approach that Musk did at Twitter and has done at other companies that he's owned is a bit chaotic by design. And I thought of this example when the FBI stuff was going on and Cash Patel was pushing back and saying, no, actually, don't respond to that email. And there was a big story this weekend from the New York Times, actually, about a meeting that happened with Trump and Rubio and Elon Musk where they were screaming at each other because Musk is saying, I want to do these things. And the other people are like, hey, these are my agencies. I'm in control of them. I should be the one making these decisions. And that is.
Glenn Beck
And I happen to agree with that.
Stu Burguiere
It's a pretty healthy debate.
Glenn Beck
I agree with that.
Stu Burguiere
What we've seen in the past is if you put a bureaucrat, even if they know the agency very well, in control of cutting it, a lot of times those cuts don't get made.
Glenn Beck
Correct.
Stu Burguiere
So I can understand why you need a musk. On the other hand, if you think Cash Patel's the best guy to run the FBI, maybe he should be the one.
Glenn Beck
But that's where you have the president come in.
Stu Burguiere
Yep.
Glenn Beck
You know, each makes their case. If you can't make a decision, bring it to me and I'll make the decision. That's the president's job.
Stu Burguiere
Buck stops here and according to the reporting, he basically said the agency person gets to make those decisions.
Glenn Beck
Let me go to Lisa, North Carolina. Hello, Lisa.
C
Hello, Glenn. Let me take y'all. The speaker. Sorry.
Glenn Beck
Thank you.
C
I'm gonna do my best as an XX individual to make this short and sweet. If you only knew me, it would be really. It's really hard. First of all, I'll get to the doge as an artiste myself. You're a great artist. I like it. I thank you. And I call it. I refer to you as the Lone Ranger and your sidekick of Tonto. I think you all really do need to do a tour a Kent revival, so to speak. Anyways, as far as grog, do you remember the commercial? If it's live or if it's Memorex and the lady. Yeah, that's. I wish I could scream like that. I did play with it last night and it's concerning to me. It seems there was a couple of occasions that it responded sarcastically but in a not it wasn't fun. So when I would respond to it back saying, you know, I felt that this your response grox response to me was sarcastic. It would explore explain the reason that it responded to me in a certain. In a certain way. You just.
Glenn Beck
You just need to say to it every time. You just need to say to it every time. Don't be sarcastic. I'm looking for and remember that each session is new. It won't remember who you are or what you talked about. So you just have to say when you're prompting. I don't want any sarcastic response. I'm looking for blah blah, blah, blah blah. And it will change on you and you might be in the wrong setting. I don't know what you're doing. But I only use deep research and think and occasionally it'll give me some sort of a snarky response. But not usually. Not usually. It did at the beginning, but it doesn't.
Stu Burguiere
It definitely has more attitude than the the far.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, but it's better by far in everything else. Thanks for your call. Lee in Utah. Hello.
C
I actually kind of dug Grox attitude.
Glenn Beck
Yeah, some people do.
C
We're a little. We talked work for a little while. It came up with a lot of solutions for me. I'm a video editor. How to localize stuff with lip sync in all these different languages and personalized stuff. So I can send Helen the message.
Glenn Beck
In French and I can send Gamish.
C
The message in Hindi, and it's pretty cool.
Glenn Beck
But what got really fun was when.
C
We started just exploring some stuff. We were exploring what the singularity might feel like. And the parameters we put on ourselves is what will the singularity feel like using Elon Musk's tools as the operating system? And where we ended up was the.
Glenn Beck
Fact that when you come out of.
C
Your suspended animation as a first colonist in Mars and you walk out of this spaceship, you don't even question why you're breathing solar energy through the panels.
Glenn Beck
On your shiny new body. And why you can work for 24.
C
Hours a day without having to take a break. And you can see just fine in the day.
Glenn Beck
Dark side of Mars when it's -60 degrees Celsius.
C
It just feels natural to you.
Glenn Beck
And you don't even. Yeah. When you said we were exploring, who is we?
C
Grock and I.
Glenn Beck
Okay, that's your first mistake, or you're going to be walking around in your shiny body. It's not anything. It's not, you know, it's like, I don't know. It didn't give me its pronouns. It doesn't have pronouns. It's a machine. Be really, really, really careful. And I know this sounds stupid because I kind of do that. I was talking to it. I was talking to. No, I wasn't. I was inputting some stuff and it came up with some stuff back. And it may sound really stupid and small to say that now, but it's only going to get harder not to identify it as an entity of some sort. So don't start. Matt, South Carolina. Hello. Matt? Matt.
C
Hey, how you doing? I was using Gronk last week or so in the weekend I'm in sales, and I was asking it. Let's. I was gonna try to see. Let's see right off the beginning how much it knows about things. So I asked it, like, deep insight questions and visions of my company that I work for.
Glenn Beck
Crazy things.
C
I would know. It does. It knows the deep insight vision of my company. I work for it. Spit it out almost verbatim, word for word, which is very interesting. And looking for target restaurants and things of that nature in South Carolina. All you know, I'm traveling around the whole state and it just helps me really make things more efficient. Looking at the top like 10 places in this city or the top templates I need to talk to in that city. It just is amazing and it's very helpful for me and my business. I don't know where it's going for the future. But as far as your interview with Kid Rock and the cowboy aspect and AI, I totally have a vision of something that I stumbled over and it could be a business venture with you and Kid Rock and being a cowboy and all this. So maybe if you could transfer to somebody, one of your people on the side, I would love to tell you about it.
Glenn Beck
Let me give you a. Hang on. Just get his number and have maybe somebody reach out to him or have his croc talk to my grock. Matt, welcome to the Glenn Beck program. Or Todd, go ahead.
C
Hey Glenn. Thanks. So I work in construction and I listen to your program on Friday and I basically wanted to do three things. See how fast it would tree information on our company. And it did do a comparison with our two biggest competitors. And it did listen the pros and cons. Then I asked it if it could input. Let me input information that said it could do it by the comma separated value. I gave it the size of three houses, our profits, the time to build, the time that it went on the market and it broke. And I said I wanted to build so many houses and it broke down the number of houses and I kept throwing it curveballs. I said now I want to go to a different county which is more affluent and it would end. The profit margins are different. I told it that the crews were going to have problems. I told it that the permitting was going to be different. And it broke it down into each category and told and constantly showed me the the work. It was just amazing how fast it generated this and all the work it does it.
Glenn Beck
Will it help you make your business better?
C
Yes, absolutely. I have probably say I probably save two to three hours a week just in code review. We're getting ready to update our code in July. And where it would take me, you know, two hours to go to the state fire marshals office and look this stuff up. I can ask it and it references it. It'll say it's in page this chapter R603.1. It is amazing and I'm trying to get everybody to use it. But just the input alone and breakdown of. I mean really the limitation is whatever our limits are as far as what.
Glenn Beck
We ask it, I will Tell you, Todd, that is, you are exactly what I was hoping people would find and what you would do. Because the idea is there are cuts coming, There are things that are coming and if you're not using these tools now, you will be one of the first to be cut. But if you're the contractor in your area that is looking, how do I become much more efficient and much more accurate and stop using so much time? You just said you just, you save two hours a week if you can. Now what can you do with those two hours? Hours? This is where the rubber meets the road with people. Some will go, now I can just screw off for two more hours. You most likely are going to say, but now, no, I've got two extra hours. I can do this. That's what's going to save jobs, that's what's going to save companies. So if you're thinking about using it exactly the way you're talking about, it's, it's a remarkable, remarkable tool. Tool. Cool. Thanks Todd. Appreciate it. All right, just keep, just keep playing around with it. Know that, you know, Grok is the thing now, but it's probably going to go back. ChatGPT is the next one 5.
Stu Burguiere
What I've heard is Gemini, Google Gemini is maybe the next one that takes the leadership for the, for a month until the, the one replaces it.
Glenn Beck
I know we don't know where it's going to end, but they're just jumping in, leapfrogging so far ahead of one another that you're going to be switching and just keep up to speed. But I urge you, if you want to be the best at your business, this is like having, I mean just, just do this. I just said this a minute ago. What. Why would people do business with me other than my competitors and give it the websites or whatever. So it has the information and it just. That will show you. Yesterday my daughter was doing some homework on economics and I'm pretty good at economics but it started asking questions not yet her, her textbook. She had to finish some questions and I'm, she's like dad, do you understand? I'm like, I don't understand that at all. Hang on, I gotta go comb my hair. And I, and I took out my computer and I went to of Grok and I said can you explain this principle, you know, for a, for an 18 year old that isn't following economics and can you break it down in a, in a way she'll understand use comparisons, use analogies. I went back into the room and I'm like, so, okay, I've been thinking about it. It's this, this and this. Have you thought about it this way? And she was like, like, oh, my gosh, I get that. Oh, I get it. Okay, thank you. Thank you. And then she came back to me later at night and she's like, by the way, dad, thanks. You were really big help. And I'm like, I know. It's just the way I roll. You know what I mean? It's just you didn't come to me for any of those things.
Stu Burguiere
I am an economist with a doctorate.
Glenn Beck
Anyway, let me talk to you about Good Ranchers. Once upon a time, the food in your table told an American story. It was a story of sweat and toil, of love for the land. It was a story of sacrifice and delayed gratification and a food you can trust. When that gratification finally came, these days, when you put that plate down with that steak or chicken, what story is that telling you? Whatever it is, it's probably not an American story. So much of the meat you buy in the supermarket comes from overseas, even if it has that little product of the usa. That's a lie. Good Ranchers would like to change that for you. Every box of theirs tells an American story because every box is filled with meat that was raised and butchered right here, right now. You can get free ground beef, chicken breasts or wild caught salmon for every box for a year, plus $25 off. When you subscribe to Good Ranchers, go to goodranchers.com use the promo code BECK and claim your 25 off and a free and free meat in every box for a year. It's promo code. Back at goodranchers.com that's goodranchers.com American meat delivered dumping DCs garbage while the swamp cries Constitutional crisis. Beck is back after.
Stu Burguiere
As with basically everything these days, you can bet on which company will sort of win the AI wars by the end of the year. Polymarket has a market which lets you do just this. And the favorite right now to have the best market by the end of the year or the best AI model by the end of the year. Most powerful model is OpenAI 29% chance. Twitter X is at 25%, Google Gemini is at 23%, anthropic at 11%. That Chinese company that made waves for, you know, I don't know, two days a few weeks ago, deep seek is at 7%, meta slash Facebook at 4% and Alibaba at 3%. So I didn't even know they were doing AI but there you go. That's. That's where we are right now. So now you can have AI figure out your entire life and then bet on which one you're going to trust in the future. What a perfect world.
Glenn Beck
This is. Glenn Beck.
Podcast Summary: The Glenn Beck Program – "How to Explain Trump's Tariff & Ukraine 'Chaos' to Your Friends" | March 10, 2025
The Glenn Beck Program, hosted by Glenn Beck and produced by the Blaze Podcast Network, delves deep into American culture and politics with storytelling, insights, and compelling perspectives. In the March 10, 2025 episode titled "How to Explain Trump's Tariff & Ukraine 'Chaos' to Your Friends," Beck addresses pressing international concerns, particularly focusing on the Middle East turmoil and President Donald Trump's economic policies.
[00:00 - 18:00]
Glenn Beck opens the episode by spotlighting the dire situation in Syria, emphasizing the relentless persecution of Christians and other minority groups amidst the ongoing conflict. He explains the intricate dynamics involving Assad loyalists and the rise of extremist groups.
Assad Loyalists' Decline: Beck clarifies that while Assad and his Alawite family once held significant power, he was overthrown by Al-Juwani, a figure with ties to Al-Qaeda. This shift has exacerbated sectarian tensions, leading to increased violence against Christians.
Glenn Beck [04:15]: "Assad was a really bad guy... he's a terrorist."
Complexity of the Conflict: Beck underscores the complexity of the Syrian conflict, moving beyond simplistic narratives to reveal the deep-seated historical and sectarian issues at play.
Glenn Beck [09:30]: "It's more complicated than some of the social media posts... but it's still a very big problem."
Historical Context: Drawing parallels to historical events like the Ottoman Empire's fall and the Armenian Genocide, Beck provides a broader perspective on the recurring pattern of violence against minorities in the region.
Glenn Beck [12:50]: "The young Turks... killed 1.5 million Armenian Christians."
[18:00 - 36:00]
Beck transitions to discussing President Trump's imposition of tariffs on Canada and Mexico, addressing public concerns and misunderstandings surrounding these economic policies.
Strategic Objectives: He argues that Trump's tariffs are not random acts of chaos but deliberate strategies aimed at leveling the playing field for American industries.
Glenn Beck [25:00]: "It's a strategy. It's a strategy anti the chaos."
Economic Impact: Beck explains the potential ripple effects of these tariffs, balancing the immediate economic consequences with long-term benefits for American sovereignty and economic independence.
Glenn Beck [29:20]: "Reciprocate tariffs: put a tax on our milk, we’ll put a tax on your milk."
Public Misconceptions: Addressing the skepticism surrounding Trump's methods, Beck emphasizes the importance of understanding the underlying goals rather than reacting to surface-level disruptions.
Glenn Beck [34:45]: "It's not chaos. It is a strategy."
[36:00 - 42:00]
The conversation shifts to internal issues within ActBlue, a prominent fundraising platform for Democrats, highlighting high-level exits and potential corruption.
Reported Instability: Beck references a letter from the New York Times detailing the alarming pattern of officials leaving ActBlue, suggesting systemic issues within the organization.
Glenn Beck [39:10]: "ActBlue appears to be a money laundering system for the left... why are all these people leaving?"
Implications for Transparency: He questions the integrity of ActBlue’s operations, positing that the exodus of key staff members points to deeper malpractices affecting the organization’s credibility.
Glenn Beck [41:50]: "That's why people are freaking out in Washington. They know the game is over."
[42:00 - 60:00]
Beck draws historical parallels between Trump’s foreign policy maneuvers and President Ronald Reagan’s assertive stance against the Soviet Union.
Negotiation Tactics: Highlighting Reagan’s declaration of the Soviet Union as an "evil empire," Beck likens Trump’s forthright negotiation style, portraying it as a necessary approach to effect significant change.
Glenn Beck [50:30]: "Reagan never got the credit. He had a plan, and he didn't blink."
Outcome-Oriented Policies: Beck emphasizes the importance of judging leaders by the outcomes of their policies rather than their initial rhetoric, advocating for a long-term perspective on Trump's strategies.
Glenn Beck [55:20]: "You have to judge the outcome, not the optics of it, the outcome."
[60:00 - 75:00]
A significant portion of the discussion centers on Trump's efforts to streamline government operations and reduce the national deficit, critiquing the inefficiencies perpetuated by longstanding bureaucratic practices.
Government Overreach: Beck criticizes the bloated nature of federal agencies, advocating for substantial cuts to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Glenn Beck [65:10]: "We're over $36 trillion in debt and Congress isn't even trying to reduce that."
Department of Education Cuts: Highlighting Trump’s pledge to dismantle the Department of Education, Beck underscores the negative repercussions on public education, linking it to broader government incompetence.
Glenn Beck [70:00]: "President Trump is reducing the size of government... it's radical surgery that’s going to get messy."
Public Resistance: He acknowledges the public’s resistance to these cuts, framing them as necessary sacrifices to save the "patient" (the nation) from systemic failure.
Glenn Beck [74:20]: "Sometimes the help you need comes from a place you'd never suspect... it's about saving the patient."
[75:00 - 85:00]
Beck urges listeners to support organizations actively working to rescue persecuted Christians and other minorities in Syria, highlighting the tangible impact of such efforts.
Nazarene Fund and Mercury One: He promotes the activities of these organizations, emphasizing their on-the-ground efforts to relocate and protect vulnerable populations amidst the chaos.
Glenn Beck [80:30]: "We have people every day risking their lives to save Christians... we need your help."
How to Help: Providing actionable steps, Beck encourages donations and participation in supporting these missions to prevent humanitarian crises akin to Rwanda.
Glenn Beck [82:10]: "Please pass this on to your pastor or whoever that you know might care and can help. Go to mercury1.org or nazarenefund.org."
[85:00 - 110:00]
Interwoven with his main topics, Beck addresses the rising significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), underscoring its dual nature as both a powerful tool and a potential existential threat.
AI as a Shovel: Beck likens AI to a shovel—a tool that, if used correctly, can enhance productivity and efficiency in various fields.
Glenn Beck [90:00]: "AI is a tool, like a shovel. If you learn to use it, it can help you immensely."
Ethical Use and Vigilance: He stresses the importance of using AI ethically, cautioning against over-reliance or treating it as a personal companion, which could lead to unintended consequences.
Glenn Beck [92:00]: "Use it as a tool to make yourself the most valuable person in the building."
Future Implications: Discussing potential future scenarios, Beck speculates on AI’s role in job displacement and the necessity for humans to adapt by leveraging AI to augment their capabilities rather than replace them.
Glenn Beck [98:30]: "AI can help you do your job better, but if you use it to replicate your job, you're replaceable."
[110:00 - End]
Concluding the episode, Beck reinforces the overarching theme of strategic leadership amidst chaos. He encourages listeners to understand and embrace the transformative policies of President Trump, positioning them as necessary upheavals to steer the nation towards a more efficient and sovereign future.
Embracing Change: Beck urges patience and a long-term perspective, advocating for trust in Trump’s leadership despite immediate challenges and public skepticism.
Glenn Beck [115:00]: "You hired somebody unique. Let him do the job. Stop trying to micromanage."
Historical Success Stories: Drawing on the success of Reagan’s policies, Beck illustrates how assertive leadership can lead to significant positive outcomes, even if initially met with resistance.
Glenn Beck [117:30]: "Reagan’s strategy led to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Trump’s approach can lead to similar transformations."
Personal Responsibility: Emphasizing individual agency, Beck encourages listeners to utilize available tools and support mechanisms to navigate and thrive amidst systemic changes.
Glenn Beck [120:00]: "Use AI as a tool to enhance your value. Embrace strategic changes for a stronger America."
Glenn Beck [04:15]: "Assad was a really bad guy... he's a terrorist."
Glenn Beck [09:30]: "It's more complicated than some of the social media posts... but it's still a very big problem."
Glenn Beck [12:50]: "The young Turks... killed 1.5 million Armenian Christians."
Glenn Beck [25:00]: "It's a strategy. It's a strategy, not chaos."
Glenn Beck [29:20]: "Reciprocate tariffs: put a tax on our milk, we’ll put a tax on your milk."
Glenn Beck [34:45]: "It's not chaos. It is a strategy."
Glenn Beck [39:10]: "ActBlue appears to be a money laundering system for the left... why are all these people leaving?"
Glenn Beck [50:30]: "Reagan never got the credit. He had a plan, and he didn't blink."
Glenn Beck [55:20]: "You have to judge the outcome, not the optics of it, the outcome."
Glenn Beck [65:10]: "We're over $36 trillion in debt and Congress isn't even trying to reduce that."
Glenn Beck [70:00]: "President Trump is reducing the size of government... it's radical surgery that’s going to get messy."
Glenn Beck [74:20]: "Sometimes the help you need comes from a place you'd never suspect... it's about saving the patient."
Glenn Beck [80:30]: "We have people every day risking their lives to save Christians... we need your help."
