I have been doing some of these for over three years. Every single day I'm like, that is like a dollar a day, less than a dollar a day when I break that down. And so for me, again, it's not only the results, it's the enjoyment of the process that has really, really, really been transformative.

That I had epic visuals for today's episode, but I'm going to do my best to be a really good describer. If any of you ever watch the cooking shows on like Food Network and they're describing the food and you can almost taste it even though you're not actually putting anything in your mouth, that's my goal today. I want to just be a really good describer so you can understand what I'm talking talking about. So I broke this up into four different categories. So I have impulse buys that changed my life, surprising finds, the ones I keep repurchasing and worth every penny. And I will say that this covers a wide range of price points, of products and of things. So let's start with impulse buys that changed my life. These are three things that I bought that were bought on a whim, that have turned out to be amazing and dare I say, life changing. Okay, so the first one, I'm going to thank the Instagram ads for this one because I got served ads for this for months and I wasn't totally on board with it, but I was kind of curious about it and so I finally pulled the trigger. What is it? It is called the Skylight Calendar. Maybe you've seen ads for this like me. Maybe you're getting targeted for the same things. But essentially what it is is it is a framed screen that shows a visual calendar. So imagine like your Google calendar on a beaut full screen and it's kind of like a frame TV screen where it's matte, it's not shiny, it's not glossy and it's beautiful. Like the presentation of it is actually really pretty. You could put it up on your wall, you'd have it on your desk. Like, you could have it anywhere where you need a visual reminder of what is happening in your life. And we have ours in our pantry. I literally rearranged my entire pantry for this. And it was so funny because at first, Drew was not totally on board about it. Like, he didn't really understand it, and now it has become this stable for us. So here's why I love it. It is a visual calendar for us. And I feel like for the last few years, life hasn't been super busy in terms of kids activities and spirit, days at school and days off or holiday breaks. And all of a sudden we started realizing, like, whoa, if we are not putting things into our calendar, we are forgetting about them. We're running late for them. And Drew and I were having these, like, constant conversations of like, hey, what do you have going on today? And every single day, I would, like, have to pull up my phone, pull up my calendar, walk him through my day. Most of the time, he wouldn't retain that information, Bless his soul. And then we would be, like, trying to communicate during the day as, like, what's going on? Who's doing pickup? What time is the chiropractor appointment at, et cetera. So what is beautiful about this is you can import in as many people's calendars as you want. So Drew and I both have our calendars imported in. So he has important things like garbage night and recycling night. I have important things like podcast past interviews and meetings. And what's beautiful is, is that it's this awesome visual for us where we can see exactly what we have going on for the week. We know what the other person is doing. We can divide and conquer with our schedule. We know what's coming up for the kids. It has been so nice. An unexpected thing that I am absolutely loving about this purchase is that for my adhd, a lot of times I feel anxiety with the unknown. And so if I am not constantly looking at my calendar, I'm, like, not exactly sure where energy is going to go this week, or is it a really busy week, or is it a lighter week? And so having those visual reminders of, like, seeing certain wide open days on the calendar, like, that gives me breath. That gives me rest and pause. And then seeing some of those busier days knowing, like, I gotta have a meal plan. I've got to be ready to go. I need to communicate the extra support that I might need during those days. And so it has just saved us the Daily debate of, like, what do you have today? What's going on today? And then it's also kind of just showed us, like, when we have busier weeks, like, hey, maybe we should be food prepping on Sunday afternoon because we've got a really busy week. What is our meal plan? Like, even on the Skylight calendar, they have this upgrade that you can get, which we got, where you can plan out your meals, you could plan out your grocery list. So again, like, if you are someone who needs visual cues, visual reminders, or you need to have like one organized space for your family. I am loving this. So this was totally an Instagram ad. I bought it. I am loving it. I love walking into my pantry and just seeing what we have going on. It is pretty enough that you can have out. You can upload photos. So it could literally be like a photo frame if you want. It's very customizable and it's just something that is unexpected. Again, an impulse buy that I will argue changed my life. So if you are in a very busy season or you need a visual calendar, I often think about when we were growing up, we had this one cabinet and my mom would. I was tape our calendar onto it and she would handwrite in everybody's birthdays and all the different activities, and then she would color code it with highlighters. It's basically like that, but for our generation. So Skylight calendar. Absolutely love it. As a reminder, I have coupon codes and things and links. So just check out the show description in the show notes for those things. Okay. The second one, I've talked about this on my podcast numerous times. It's called the RO box. This is in our pantry as well. And let me tell you, our pantry is not that big that we're talking about this. It makes our pantry sound huge. It's not. But this is the white box that is aesthetically pleasing. It's a white box with a beautiful wood top. And this is where we put our phones away. And this box, I will tell you, it has absolutely changed our lives. It has changed our relationship with technology. It has changed the way our kids see us with technology. If you are someone who wants to get off of your phone more, if you are someone who. Who doesn't want to be on your phone in front of your kids. If you are someone who wants more intimacy with the people in your life or the people you share your home with and you need help setting boundaries, this box is it. So what's really cool about it, it's this beautiful box but inside of the box, it has chargers for all of your devices. I keep my headphones in there, and then I also obviously keep my phone in there. We use this box a lot. So the kind of house rules that we've created is when we are with our kids, our phones are in the box. And so when we wake up in the morning, our ph are in the box. They don't come out until the kids leave for school. When the kids come home from school, the phones are in the box until bedtime. We have just created a lot of beautiful routines around it. We sleep with our phones in the box. And here's what happens. So when you put your phone in the box, it tracks how much time you are off of your phone. Not only does it track how much time you're off your phone, it tracks and has you almost gamify being off of your phone. So not only do you get asked, like, congratulations, you just got back two hours of your life. What did you do with it? Where you can track, like, I had a meal with my family. Family, I read a book, I spent time with my kids, like, whatever that is. But you also get to see how your other members of your household are doing with it. So Drew and I often have contests of who can keep their phone in the box more, and we can't. We get pretty competitive with it. Like, it's actually really fun. And so the founders basically kind of gamified being off of your phone to give you the same dopamine hits that you get for being on your phone, but for being off of it. And so it's just created a more tech free, screen free environment for our family. And we love it so much that we will literally, like travel the box with us to places just because it's such a part of our habits and we recognize when we don't have it, we aren't as good at being off of our phones. So the RO box again, is amazing. And one thing to note too is they just created an app where you can track your time off of your phone and you don't need the pretty box. And so it's basically like you can flip your phone over and if you use their app, it'll track the time and you can do, you know, contests with your family members, numbers or things like that. But I will say we have tried just doing it in that method. And the box for us is the game changer. It's just like a universal place, out of sight, out of mind. And I love having it like in our pantry. Because it's just like, if you see somebody going into the pantry and they're not actually getting food, you know what's going on. And so it's easier to call out. And it's just more out of sight, out of mind. Okay. The last impulse buy that I am loving right now is a weighted vest. Okay, hear me out on this. So I walk on my treadmill every single day. I love working on my treadmill. So if I have a lot of, like, copy to review or plans to look over, a lot of times I'll do that. Also, if I have calls internally, like, within my company, I'll walk on the treadmill for my meetings. And I love it. I have been so consistent. I mean, even this week, I think I walked six out of seven days this week for at least a half an hour. And a lot of times what I'll do is I'll do the 12330 workout, which is incline of 12, 3 miles per hour for 30 minutes. Now, I have gotten my endurance up a ton through doing this so consistently, and so now I can walk at almost 4 mph at the same incline for the same amount of time. So I was trying to think of ways to, like, make walking a little bit more interesting, to add a little bit more resistance. And a weighted vest has actually been so, so good for me. So I just bought a weighted vest on Amazon. There are a million different weighted vests out there. I just googled weighted walking vests for women. I got a 12 pound vest, and I love it. And it's funny because the other day I went into the gym and Drew was using it for his workout, and I was like, oh, don't get it all sweaty. But I noticed that not only do I burn more calories when I'm walking, but, like, it is so good for women when you do research on, like, osteoporosis and bone density. Having resistance on your bones is one of the best ways to make sure that you are not losing bone density as you age. So I texted my mom. My mom has a walking vest now. So that is just one of those impulse buys where I think I saw a reel about it and I was like, I'm going to give this a try, and I'm loving it. Okay, so to highlight the skylight calendar. Absolutely love the visual is so helpful. Our RO box is the phone box that I have talked about a million times on this show. And then lastly is my weighted walking vest.

Okay, the next category is surprising finds. So these are the unexpected items that I did not know that I was going to love. And a couple of these are a little bit more business geared because I am often surprised when it comes to business purchases. So the first one is Monday.com and I talk about this ad nauseam on the show, but I just wanted to sum it up in here because I could not live without Monday.com. i know that's a bold statement, but it's true. Okay, so what is Monday.com? it is a project management system. And it is so wild because I think about when I first had Coco. She's going to be sick soon. I literally was running my business out of Google Docs and random notes and like notes in my phone. It was kind of chaotic and I'm not going to lie, it was a mess. It was, it was embarrassing. And when I hired Marissa, who's like my right hand gal, she has been with me over the last, last almost six years, her first order of business was to get a project management system up. Now, there are a lot of different project management systems. There is Asana, there's Basecamp. I have used a lot of the different ones through different contractors that we've worked with. But Monday.com is the winner in my opinion. Now here's why I love it and I want for you to listen to this because I don't want you to make the same mistake I made. I did not have any sort of project management system. I would basically log on and be like, what the heck do I need to do today? I know I need to do a million things. I don't even know where to start. I don't know what needs to be done. I don't know who's waiting on what. I don't know where our projects are at. And so if you are a solopreneur, meaning you do not have a team, I would strongly recommend getting onto a project management system. It doesn't have to be Monday. It could be any project management system now. So that when you grow a team, you have processes that you can pass along and it is just a part of the culture. I am proud to say that now, years later, Monday.com is like our life force in my business. It is where people will literally put tasks on my to do list so I know what needs to be done. I can literally hop in and see what each team member is Working on what they've got on their plate. When the deadlines are, you can leave comments in there, you can drop files, you can drop voice memos, you can drop photos. And it has basically become this place where we organize everything. So I could go right now. And it was funny. I was on a coaching call the other day with client and she asked me for something and I sourced a document from 2022 from a specific launch that happened in spring. And she was like, how did you find that so fast? And I was like, oh, we have everything organized. And I showed her the organization and her mind was blown. And she was like, I spend like 20 minutes a day just trying to find the right documents. And so project management system, again, unexpected. Because years ago, I think when I look back, my ADHD felt very confined by system and structures. And as I have gotten to learn more about myself and as frankly, my life has gotten more full and busy as a mom, I now rely on systems and structure. I am not afraid of them. They do not feel constricting. They feel like freedom to me. So Monday.com is literally something that we could not live by. And what's beautiful, too, is there's a lot of different integrations. You can integrate it into Slack, you can connect it up with different platforms that you're already using. And it is just. I mean, it is amazing. And I will say that there are so many capabilities within that we probably aren't even using it to its fullest potential. And it is 1000% worth every single penny. Okay, the next unexpected item that I did not know I loved. So we started working with this team. It's called Be Creatives, and it is a video editing service, and we use it to edit our podcast videos and to create our reels. But what's amazing about it is that they can edit any video content into any format. And I was out there. So you might remember at the beginning of this year, I decided I'm going to give YouTube a try. Didn't love it. Maybe I should do a whole episode about my experience with that. Didn't love the platform and it was so much extra work, but we started realizing, like, we have all of this video content, we don't even know what to do with it. We don't know how to slice and dice it. Like, we're not even using it in a way that's actually effective. And I didn't know how to find a great video editor that would consistently work for me that wouldn't cost a million bucks. And so what's amazing with Be Creatives is when you work with them, you have a dedicated editor, you have unlimited edits and revisions, and they have super fast turnaround times. And so what is awesome about it is basically we have created this workflow now where I can record a podcast, then we can upload that podcast so they can edit the entire interview for us, like, get it ready. So before, I was paying hundreds of dollars to have an entire interview edited for YouTube, and now this is part of the unlimited content that we get with Be Creatives. And then they help splice and dice and create multiple reels for every single episode. And so it's basically like you have a whole agency and a dedicated editor at your fingertips without paying a million dollars. And so I have absolutely loved working with them. I love our editor. They are also helping us brainstorm new ideas of how to make our content more engaging. So they've been bringing different styles to us. They've been asking us like, hey, can we get this type of B roll? Like, we can literally log in, see the status of every single project, see when it's delivered, request revisions. Like, the whole platform is so streamlined that I can log in, my podcast producer can log in. We know exactly what to do, and they understand our style. And so it takes a minute to get your style sorted out. And once you do, you are off to the freaking races. And it is like rinse and repeat. So it has just been such a blessing. And I feel like before we were recording video for our podcast and not using it anywhere. And so with Be Creatives, now we have the YouTube video. We're not paying separately for that like I was prior. So we're saving hundreds of dollars every single month. And then we also are getting unlimited social clips. And it's a fast turnaround time. So I just have really, really enjoyed working with them. I think that they are awesome at what they do. And what's great is that they're working with a lot of different creatives, so they're seeing what's resonating, what's working. And so with them, you basically have your own editor, this dedicated person who is helping you with unlimited edits and revisions, spinning things around really fast in terms of their turnaround times. And it's a very affordable, in my opinion. So I am absolutely loving Be Creatives. Okay. The last thing that I will say is somewhat surprising and I guess more so unexpected is Superhuman. So this is an app. And you might remember earlier this year, I interviewed the founder of Superhuman. Her name is Mimi Bouchard. It is such a great interview. If you missed it, we linked it in the show notes. It's one of our most popular episodes. And Mimi taught us about this idea of activation. So a lot of times people hear of, like, manifestations and meditations. Mimi came up with this idea of activations. And what it is is it's a new type of audio, and it's basically a mix of like a motivational podcast, cinematic music, and guided visualization. And it's interesting because my sister had been swearing by Superhuman for months and months and months. And then I finally downloaded it it and I fell in love with it. And what's interesting is. And another thing that I think I've learned about my ADHD is a lot of times if something feels boring, I just don't want to do it. Like, I saw this funny meme the other day, and it was like when you need to turn on a podcast to walk from one room to the next room, right? Like, as in, you just are constantly wanting to be engaged. And Superhuman has been the best companion for me because I am someone who. Who oftentimes wants to fill the silence. So whether I'm sitting in the sauna or I'm laying on my mat, which we'll talk about in a bit, I just feel like it is such an empowering thing. And what I love about activations is that it is, like, motivating, it's energizing, it's transformative, it's guided. So, like, my brain isn't going in a million different directions. And the way that they mix the music and the words, like, you feel moved. Like, there are some days where I'm listening and I'm like, so empowered, and then I'm so inspired and I'm so motivated. I mean, I listen to these when I'm baking bread, when I do my skincare, when I'm in the shower, when I'm prepping for podcast interviews, I think it's so awesome. And what I really love about this, and I talked to Mimi about this when she came on the show, is I think she's so stinking smart because she created these different activations. So it'll say, like, for when you're washing your face, right? It's like a five minute audio, but she helps you integrate it and see spaces in your life where you could just invite in something that is positive. And, man, I don't know about you, but, like, I need more positivity in my life. So I love it. It's an app. It's on your phone. I think you should try it if you want to kind of get a taste of it. We put one of the activations onto Mimi's episode so you could kind of hear what it is like. And so I just. I. I really, really, really, really enjoy Superhuman, and I think it's an amazing, amazing app, and I can't wait for you to try them. And again, just a note. Head to the show notes. We're listing out. There's so many cool offers and coupon codes and things like that. So just check that out, because there's some really awesome ways that you can save on all of these favorite things. Okay, let's move on to the products that I keep on repurchasing. The other day, Drew opened the door to grab a package, and he's like, holy cow, what did you order? And it was my order of Primally Pure. And I was like, honey, like, the holidays are coming up. They just released their holiday sense. I had to get the whole home line. He was like, oh, my gosh, you got so much stuff. I cannot quit it. I cannot quit it. So I have been using Primally Pure for seven years, seven years now. And I started using Primally Pure. It's skincare. And now they also have extra products like a home line. But I started using their skincare and deodorant seven years ago after my second miscarriage, when I really started to understand more about hormones, hormone disrupting ingredients and products and how what we put on our skin is absorbed into our body. Like, our skin is our largest organ. And I will never forget when I was going through all of our challenges in growing our family. I remember my doctor had prescribed a cream. It was a hormone cream that I literally just had to put on my wrists. And it hit me then, and it should have hit me a lot sooner, that, like, I am literally absorbing, like, a prescription hormone through my skin. What is happening when I'm putting on all of these different products? My skin is literally taking every single thing in. And so Primally Pure is 100 natural. It is non toxic. It is made with ingredients that you can actually read. It is safe if you are pregnant. It is safe if you are nursing. It is safe for your family. It is safe for your children to use. I just am obsessed with it. And I think my skin has absolutely transformed so much over the years. And I will say my skin is also transformed because my diet has changed, my stress levels have changed. I now get consistent facials. Like, I think there are a lot of reasons my Skin has changed. But I think that your skin tells a story, right? And it can tell a story of what is going on in your body. And so for me, Primalie Pierre is it is what I've talked about for the last seven years. And so I just got a huge box of this stuff. And what I'm super excited about is they just did a rebrand. So they have all new packaging. And I absolutely love. It is environmentally conscious packaging, but it is beautiful. And it also just helps administer their product. A couple of the products, I swear by their oil cleanser. It literally smells so good. It was cute. The other night I had put Quinn to bed. I put the oil cleanser on my face and then she was yelling for me in the monitor. And so I ran into a room and she sniffs it and she goes, mom, that smells really good. And so I was like, I know, honey, it's my skincare. And she kept sniffing it. But the oil cleanser, I love their clarifying spray. I love their clarifying serum. I love their cream. I know with the winter months coming up. This morning I woke up Coco and she's like, I need check chapstick. I grabbed a chapstick. I love their baby balm. It is like good for anything with dry skin. I mean, basically you can't go wrong. But primally pure, I can't quit it. I keep repurchasing it. I am loving it. And it is just a game changer. Okay, the next one is called Soul. And this is a product that has really helped transform my sleep routine. So obviously I am entering a different stage of parenthood where I have a little bit more prediction, predictable sleep. I will say that our dog is the one that probably wakes us up the most in the night. I don't know if anyone can relate to that. Our dog is like an ancient dog and so he gets up a few times in the middle of the night. But I have really, really, really focused on good sleep, good sleep habits, good sleep routines. And one thing I always lean on is you have to control what you can control. And like, if you have young children, you are not going to be able to control how your night can go, but you can control what you are bringing into your evening, what your routine looks like, and how you are setting yourself up for quality sleep, even if it is in increments. One thing that I've introduced to my habit, probably, I would say a year and a half, maybe even two years ago, is this soul sleepy nighttime drink. So every night before bed, I will turn on our little tea kettle. And I will have a mug of this sleepy nighttime drink by Seoul. And it is so delicious. I always have a sweet tooth. And so not only does it cure my sweet tooth because it's cacao, but it tastes like a little hot cocoa. And I have noticed a massive difference in my sleep, But I've also noticed that the pure routine of drinking this sleepy nighttime drink helps me to kind of unwind, let go of the day's thoughts, let go of a racing brain thinking of all the things that need to get done. And the ritual of it has kind of helped me get to a place where, like, I am transitioning out of work mode, motherhood, all the chaos of things, and into a more restful state. Okay. This product is made from only clean and natural ingredients, and it is basically a melatonin blend, clinically proven to support restorative sleep. And what I love about it is it's like this chocolate taste with a little hint of cinnamon. It is so good. Sometimes I will mix it with more of like a milk base, and then sometimes I just do hot water. But it has been so awesome, so game changing. And I just feel like, again, there's something really to be said about, like, what are your evening rituals that help you prepare for bed? I also shared in a recent episode how after I put my kids to bed now, which is usually around like 7:30 or so, I go set up our room for sleep. So I dim the lights, I close the curtains, I put the throw pillows on the floor, I pull down the covers, I get our pillows all set up. I turn on the white noise. Like, I've just been really conscious about creating this environment and routine that allows me to unwind and like, take a few minutes for myself. And having this warm, cozy drink has really made a difference. So again, it's the sole sleepy drink. It's this chocolate cinnamon flavor. It's delicious. And it has been something that I keep repurchasing. I actually just got two bags because I want to bring one to our lake house so that I can keep that routine when we are at the cabin. Okay. The final thing that I keep repurchasing, no matter what it is that they're putting out there, is my absolute favorite Tonic Site Shop. So Tonic site shop is a template shop for website templates, but also for like, social media templates. And this one probably isn't a huge surprise. This is like my go to because this is basically like my sixth time rebranding and creating a new website with the team At Tonic. Specifically Jen Olmstead and that woman, I was talking to her the other day on Slack and I'm like, you are just. You keep outdoing yourself. I don't know how it is possible. And what has been amazing is that using their template templates has not only saved us so much time, but it has allowed us to create this cohesive feel across all the platforms. So when I look at our website to our social, now that they create social templates, it's like you don't just have to have a beautiful website. So if you are someone who is thinking about having a new website, or if we were to be sitting down over coffee and I asked you, what is your website? And you were someone who was like, don't go to my website, it's not up to date. Go to my Instagram. You probably need a Tonic Site Shop template. And I am just obsessed with them. I love everything they do. Every time they drop a new template, I like ask myself, do I need this one? Should we switch over? And I just have to like reign it on in because everything is better. And what's amazing about it is I was just talking to someone the other day and she was asking me like, well, who do you use for your web design? And I was like, well, once a year we hired Jen to spruce up our website. But after that we, like as in myself and my team can go in and edit anything that we need to edit. So we are constantly building new pages, doing different landing pages, different things like that internally because we are able to thanks to the help of templates. So if you are someone where you're like, I can't afford to have a web designer or I can't have a dedicated web designer on my team, or I just need to have a beautiful site that I am actually able to customize and change things out. Then you want to check out Tonic Site Shop because I will swear by them until the end of time. I will never forget when I had a WordPress site and I worked with a designer and a developer. There was one year where it had like, here are my 2018 wedding rates. And I just needed to change the number to 2019. And it took us like four weeks to do it because we were working with somebody who was coding in like Sri Lanka. And it was just this thing where I felt trapped by my website. Like I couldn't actually even change anything that needed to be changed. And so ones I keep repurchasing. To sum it up primally, Pier, the sole sleepy drink and Tonic site shop for website templates.

Okay, the last ones are a splurge, but I am putting them under the category of worth every penny. And I just want to preface, I recognize that these are a splurge and they might not be accessible, but I'm going to explain why they are worth every penny. And what's interesting about this list is that these are items that I purchased over two years ago that I am still using every single day and that I swear by that are worth every penny. Okay, the first one is this. It is my PEMF mat. A lot of people call them PEMF mats. I don't actually know the correct way to say it, but when I was outlining this episode, I was literally sitting on my mat. I am currently recording this episode with my feet on one of the mats. I spend at least 20 minutes a day on it. So what is it? Okay, it's this black mat at, and it has a beautiful kind of COVID on it, and there are a bunch of crystals in it, which sounds very, very wooy. I get it. Crystals, okay? But what it is, is it's a pulsed electromagnetic field. And so if you have been ever hearing about, like, EMFs, those are like the bad things that come with WI fi and Bluetooth. It's like if you think of the way that our world is set up now and how much energy is just being sent through the ether, where, like, I can text you and it shows up on your phone and you're like, how did it get there? PEMF is the good stuff. And so it basically emits electromagnetic waves at different frequencies in order to stimulate and encourage your body's natural recovery process. So I actually bought this back in 2021. It is something that I use daily. I even got my mom one. I even got the travel size one so that when I travel, I have one one. And my mom says she uses hers every single day. She's like, I literally look forward to laying on my mat. It is the most relaxing experience. It is grounding. So there is research that NASA astronauts use these grounding mats when they get back from a space mission, because it literally gives you the energy. Like, if you've ever just like, gone out and laid in the grass, which guess what we can't do in the winter in Minnesota. And you just can't, like, ground into the Earth. That is like, what it feels like, but it's also warm, which is like a warm hug. So in my routine, essentially what I do is that once Drew leaves to drop Coco off at school, he takes Quinn with him. That is when I do a 20 minute routine where I will lay on my PEMF mat. I will relax, I will meditate, I will slowly start my own day. It is like a 20 minute reset before I crack open my computer and get to work again. It is one of those things where if you actually study the science behind it, it is fascinating. My kids will sit on it. My dog loves it. My dog who passed away last year, Chloe, she used to sit on that thing every day. And if anyone else tried to get on it, she would, like, growl at us. It is just like a warm grounding experience. And the science behind it is absolutely beautiful. And it's just beautiful for rest, relaxation, recovery. It's really good for your cells. So my PMF mat, I am obsessed with it. I have the higher dose one. It is so good. Okay, the second thing that I'm going to pair with this one is my red light. And again, we're kind of going into biohacking territory here. Red lights, these are not super cheap either. You might see them all over. Like, I have a few different types of red lights in my life, so I have the red light light mask that I wear every single night when I go to bed. We also have a big panel of a red light. So here's my hack that I do because I am always trying to look for time efficiency. When I lay on my PEMF mat, I will lay my red light on its side and I will do 10 minutes on each side of my body in the red light. So basically I'm getting red light and I'm doing my pet mat. So I feel like I'm health heavy in this section. But it kind of pains me that a lot of my favorite healthy habits are not the most budget friendly. But when I think about how I use them every day and how health is the one thing you really can't buy your way out of, to me, it feels worth it. So if you don't know a lot about red light therapy, it's kind of thought to work by acting on the power plant in your body cells called the mitochondria. If you remember back to like science class, the mitochondria is like where you get energy. And so with more energy, other cells can do their work more efficiently. Doing things like repairing your skin, boosting new cell growth, enhancing skin rejuvenation. It is really, really amazing because it helps regenerate your cells, it helps restore cell function, it helps trigger blood flow. All with like red light. Again, I know it feels a little crazy, but again, I have loved this, this therapy. I've loved this habit. It has just become a part of my day. I don't miss a day, 20 minutes a day. I do 10 minutes on each side of my body with the red light while I lay on the mat and I meditate. And it is like the best 20 minutes of my day, the best way to start my day. Okay. The final worth every penny thing, and I hate saying this because I know that a lot of people have both budget and space constraints is our treadmill. Our treadmill. And having this desk tray that goes on top of it. And I recognize that most people do not have the budget or the space to include a treadmill in their life. But maybe it's a walking pad. Maybe that's what it is for you. Because I have spent so much time on my treadmill, it helps me get in my daily movement. It has absolutely been life changing for me, especially when I am able to work while walking. And it's kind of crazy because we have the peloton bike and then we also got the peloton tree. We do not use our bike anymore. We are like straight up dedicated to the treadmill. Sometimes I will watch trashy TV show while I'm doing my walking, Sometimes I'm working, Sometimes I'm talking on the phone, whatever that is. And I walk every day almost on that thing. And it has just been such a life changer for me where knowing that I Can still be somewhat productive while I'm on it if I want to, or I can just do it for fun. But having that has given me the ability to get movement in zero excuses, especially in the winter. And I just feel like for people that struggle to get their steps in or for people that are constantly sitting down, if you could get a walking pad and a standing desk, oh, my gosh, your life is about to be changed. And just having it set up so that you're constantly using it, that you're not having to, like, set it up, take it out, et cetera. So I just have to toss that one in there. Every time I post my desk tray, people ask me, where did you get that? How did you find that? So we're making sure to link it. But I will just say in terms of the worth every penny, they are all health items and they are all expensive. But at the same point, too, I have never felt better in my life. I've never felt better in my body. And so I think there has to be something to these practices and the way that I've literally incorporated them into my life every single day. And when I look at it, I'm like, yeah, it was initial investment, it was expensive. I paid for all of these things with my own money. But when I looked at, I have been doing some of these for over three years. Every single day I'm like, that is like a dollar a day, less than a dollar a day when I break that down. And so for me, again, it's not only the results, it's the enjoyment of the process that has really, really, really been transformative. O well, almost 40 minutes. This is a long episode, but I hope you enjoyed it. I just love hearing about what people are buying and liking. I love seeing when people bring in different hauls of clothes that they got. I like hearing about how people are using things in their life. I hope you found some new favorites to potentially add to your inspiration list or your shopping list.
