In this episode, Anna speaks about her hats as a business owner, dog mom, wife, retreat host, and DIY fanatic.

After 13 years as a lab manager of a molecular diagnostics lab, an accident followed by chronic pain and neck surgery forced a stillness and quiet that was both uncomfortable but transformative. This period of time made Anna question her life and prompted her to ask, "What do I want?"

She decided to say yes to things that made her uncomfortable and used the skills she had acquired building the lab and helping her husband with his landscaping business to start a retreat company called Wandering Roots. She started by organizing and running her own retreats but has branched out as a mentor helping others plan and run theirs.

Wandering Roots is all about inspiring you to go after whatever weird thing or goal it is that you want while also pausing long enough to celebrate and feel how incredible life can be when you get out of your own way.
