Lenny
Wow. Welcome back to 4th and South. The boys are back. The Louisiana Legends.
Leonard Fournette
Yes, sir. Ski man. How you feeling today?
Lenny
I'm. I'm great. Happy to see you. You know what I'm saying? My brother from another you're looking sharp.
Leonard Fournette
I see them, I see them. I see them. Hot with that.
Lenny
Oh no. Right here. These my. You know they got what they call them Detroit buffs.
Leonard Fournette
Oh we these my cuffs. Them hard. Them hard.
Lenny
So Shout out to whoever sent me these. You hear me? I got the name right there that say fubu. I appreciate them for. Send me these glasses. You hear me? Let's get to it. We on this NFL release schedule right now. Let's see what we have here. Man, it's gonna be. Hey, it's gonna be. It's gonna be a crazy one. It's gonna be a crazy one. So week one division game, New York Giants versus Atlas Cowboys. I'm gonna say Dallas because, you know, they got all the money over there, but they. The money don't get them nowhere. They pay all these players all this bread and they don't get nowhere. What's your predictions? Talk to me, Coach.
Leonard Fournette
Listen, listen. Right now, the best thing that's going for all teams is they 0 and 0, right? I think with the Cowboys, we've seen it. You just spoke about it, bro. Like, they find some way to lose, they find some way to mess it up, they find some way not to get it done. And you know, as a Cowboy fan, it must be like infuriating to watch you play good through the regular season and then get to a wild card game first round of the playoffs and get knocked out year in and year. Year in and year out, man, it's. It's crazy to see that the money that they're spending, the money that they. They have spent in the future. But, you know, everybody's zero and zero right now. So, you know, it's. It's, It's. It's fair game. It's all fair game.
Lenny
Do you believe Coach harbor has the slight advantage with his resume also? He's a new coach on the Giants, right. We got quarterback as a dog dart.
Leonard Fournette
Yep.
Lenny
Cam Scatterboo, who runs that rock hard. But the only missing piece to me, our fellow Tiger is going through his second surgery right now. Jarvis, man.
Leonard Fournette
I know. Yeah.
Lenny
His say say he's not ready for week one. Do the Cowboys have a chance?
Leonard Fournette
Man, I don't know. Listen, with the Cowboys, shit is just unpredictable. I honestly can't tell you what's going to happen. But I would say this. The Cowboys always do play well in the regular season, right? I think it's going to be a great game. Atmosphere is going to be amazing. A divisional game. You mentioned Malik Neighbors. He's still targeted for week one. Obviously. We all know with a guy like that, you never want to rush him back to the field. You want him to come back when he's fully healthy and ready to go. He's your franchise player. So we may not see Malik neighbors week one, but man, I think that Cam Scatterboo still comes back. They sign Avel Reese Fort pick. They got Brian Burns, Abdul Carter. You know, their defense is, is looking solid and I think that's a staple of Harbaugh. Harbaugh, even when he was in Baltimore, always had a good defense, you know, and I know you was. You liked it the fourth round, the fourth pick for the Giants as well. So now they got more depth on their defense. I think that's going to be very beneficial with them not having some of their star players on offense.
Lenny
But the next question is, you know, they drafted a couple of guys that have Brian, but they lose to me, the centerpiece of their defense. Big decks.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
How can you replace that?
Leonard Fournette
Man, I don't think you could replace it. I mean, I mean, do. Can, can you replace it?
Lenny
Nah, nah, bro. He's definitely. What would you rank him in? Interior defensive lineman. What? Two, three.
Leonard Fournette
Oh, yeah. Like in the league right now?
Lenny
In the league right now.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Man. You can't never forget about Chris Jones out in Kansas City, man. There's, there's so many guys, but I think he's definitely top five interior D line. And if you talk about only interior D line, he's probably like one or two. He's a game changer. He's a he. You know, he's a baller. Is the reason why, you know, Cincinnati again. I didn't understand the trade. The trade was one of the wackiest things that I've ever seen. But you know, I think the Giants have a plan, you know, and they was able to get some depth in the draft on the defensive side of the ball. So it should be interesting to see how guys fly around and make plays out there, man. So I think that's going to be a great, great Sunday night football opener. And what a way to open it that like you know, America's team versus the New York Football Giants.
Lenny
Yes.
Leonard Fournette
Exciting.
Lenny
Also, also, we cannot skip the Dallas Cowboys. Quinn and Williams. Right? He's. He, he's up there too. He's definitely up there too. And what I've noticed over the last years, the Giants offensive line have struggled. I'm talking about struggled their ass off.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
What keys do they have for week one to stop him? Cause we know how he was in the Jets. They had the double team as big
Leonard Fournette
ass all the time.
Lenny
All the time. So now we kind of flip flopping does this game to me if we think about kind of favors. Dallas. Yeah, they have marquee guys everywhere.
Leonard Fournette
No, I agree. I agree. I think Quentin Williams is a disruptive player. No matter what team he's on, he's going to cause a headache. Be a headache for your offense, for your offensive line. We got to figure out ways to double team. But I think you hit a good key to winning that game for New York is whoever. Or that game, period, whoever controls the line of scrimmage, keep their quarterback clean. You know, those are typically always the objectives. But in this game, whoever is controlling the line of scrimmage, probably going to win. Right. You know what I mean? And then you talked about Dak a little bit, man. Dak threw for 4,552 passing yards, which was third in the league last year. Right. So, you know, we could look at a, A high scoring game Sunday Night Football. Right.
Lenny
Hopefully, Right.
Leonard Fournette
George Pickens get paid CD Lamb back. You know, it could be a, it could be a firework, some fireworks on Sunday Night Football. It'd be a great way to bring in week one.
Lenny
Definitely.
Leonard Fournette
Absolutely, man. Absolutely.
Lenny
And also, man, can we talk about the Monday Night Football game?
Leonard Fournette
Yes.
Lenny
Kansas City versus the Broncos. Potentially. Potentially.
Leonard Fournette
We get.
Lenny
We might see my guy. Patty. Patty Mahomes.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, man. What would that, what do you, what do you think that would mean to the sport? Like, just to see him back out there Week one after, you know, an injury like the acl. Lcl. Acl, Yeah.
Lenny
I mean, you know how much he's. He's done for the game. You know, the younger kids went. Wanted the Mohawk. You know, he's, he, he's kind of, he kind of had that. When I, when I was in high school, the Honey Badger effect. When Honey Badger had the gold Mohawk, all the kids was, Was dyed in their hair gold. And not just black kids, it was white kids, too.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
So I think Patty does have that effect on the game. It's Tom Brady, you know what I'm saying? They had everybody. Then it's Patty, Pat Mahomes is right there. So potentially, to see him come back. And I've always told, you know, the best thing players can go through is adversity.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
To see who they really are. And I think not, bro. We talking about Patty. Oh, Knicks, too.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
He's had the surgery. Who. I forgot who. He missed the playoff game, so I know he's anxious to go out there and just show the world that the first season wasn't a fluke. So I think potentially, if Patty comes back and Knicks come back, that, to me, that's going to be the game.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah, no, that's.
Lenny
And the winner out of them two wins that division.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Well. Well, listen, we. We looking at a potential divisional game,
Lenny
Week one, Week one.
Leonard Fournette
Like I. And I hope that y' all out there, y' all understand this, right? You know, the Broncos was. Is no slouch. That defense that they have, the way that those receivers came on, those young receivers, I would like to say, you know, a few of them, you know, ain't by popular demand. Right. But Cortland Sutton, you know, you got Pastor Tan back, Nick Bonito, Zach Allen, like, they got some guys, man, that. I think that, you know, we are looking at a divisional game, getting a glimpse of it before it actually happens. And I'm excited about it. You know, they also. Kansas City also signed our guy, Kenneth Walker.
Lenny
Yeah.
Leonard Fournette
You know what I mean? Who has the championship DNA. Like, I feel like he's very fitting for Mahomes, especially at this point, coming off of acl lcl, you know, to be able to have a good running game. Justin. We may see a flash of Justin Fields in this game, depending on where Mahomes is in his recovery. We do know that he is targeted for week one, but at the same time, having a running back like Kenneth Walker in the backfield is an extreme benefit for a quarterback coming off injury like that. You know what I mean? So I don't know how you feel about it as a running back, you know, being that you. You about to have to carry the workload for a couple weeks, you know, especially early. Early on, until Mahomes get his footing back. So I expect for them to be running the ball. I don't know how you feel about it, but I expect for them to be running the ball a little bit more in the beginning of the season.
Lenny
Well, I'm gonna say this to me, that's why they paid them that money. They know it in the first half. You know, they're kind of gonna. First of all, first of all, let's not skip who the head coach is, right. Mr. Andy Reid, who's gonna. Who's gonna put his players in position to either one on one advantages to win the game. Right. But also, we have to go over to the Denver Broncos, one of the best coaches I've played against, Mr. Sean Payton.
Leonard Fournette
Yep.
Lenny
This game is not only it's going to be the test of their players, but coaching.
Leonard Fournette
Yep. It's big on big.
Lenny
Who is the better coach? Because everybody knows andy Reid's first 15 plays. The left immaculate. Oh, how you gonna stop that.
Leonard Fournette
Oh, yeah, it's gonna be fireworks, man. 2025 record. Kansas City went 6 and 11. They missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014. The 2025 record for the Denver Broncos, they went 14 and 3. There was the AFC west champions. They were the number one seed, lost in the AFC championship game, 10 to 7. It was a very. Couple very controversial calls, injury to Bo Knicks late in that game. You know, they could have potentially been super bowl playing in the super bowl last year. So I'm excited to. How. How to see them early on as a healthy team with all of their guys back, you know, and we may not get the best KC team right now, but I think in the future, by the time the AFC game come back around again, the AFC Championship game come back around again, you'll see a healthier team. You'll see, you know, and I think it'll be a amazing, amazing matchup, man. That's. You know, what this. This game is like a. You got to love football, bro. Like, this is one of them. Like, I think everybody in the world is going to be watching this game because, you know, it has. Even though it's the first game of the season, it does have a lot of implications. Yeah, man. A lot of. A lot of postseason implications.
Lenny
And listen, let's not forget we have week seven, Cleveland versus Tennessee.
Leonard Fournette
Yes, sir.
Lenny
Right. But this is my question. This is my question to you, Juice. I. And I know, you know, you know, we have. The ceiling is high for Shador, but is Shadora gonna be week one starter throughout that. Throughout that whole season? Talk. Talk to me. The. The.
Leonard Fournette
The. The.
Lenny
The money is on Deshaun. The. Sean has all the money right now.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Will he be the starter? Still being a starter by week seven?
Leonard Fournette
Man, my stance on this is the same. I think that it's the short. I think that it's Deshawn's job to lose. You know, I think. I think he has the job right now. I think Shador hasn't. Has extremely extreme capabilities. I think he can be a guy that's the future of the franchise in Cleveland. But I think this year, depending on how things go to, you know, week seven, you know, a lot of things happen, and you have to make decisions around that mark, because if you want to make the playoffs, you know what I mean? You have to be heading in the right direction, especially at the quarterback position by that time. So who knows who's the starting quarterback by that time? But I think going into the season, for sure, DeSean Watson gets the Start. I've been hearing that there's, like a QB tracker out there in Cleveland right now, so watch it as they practice. You know, the Dylan Gabriel talk is not talk anymore. So I think we got, like, our final two guys who up for the position being Shador Sanders and desean Watson. New head coach Todd Monken. Last year, shedor threw for 1400 yards, seven touchdowns, ten picks, and seven starts. Like I say, I think he's. He's got potential. I think he still has some development. But, you know, I'm excited about Cam Ward, too, man. Cam Ward came off of a, you know, a decent year last year, probably not the year that he wanted to have. And I can see him returning this year with some vengeance, you know, and he got a weapon, you know, he got a first round, first round pick as a receiver, you know. Yeah. Cornell Tate out of Ohio State. So I'm excited about that. How about you, man?
Lenny
I am, man. I just want to see those guys go out there and compete because, you know, when you compete, you bring out the best in each other. Now. You bring out the best in your teammates. So, man, hey, the ceiling is high for that game.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, the ceiling. Definitely high. Another thing I think is important about that game, too, is that, you know, Miles Garrett last year had 23 sacks.
Lenny
Jesus.
Leonard Fournette
Last year, I want to say Ken Ward was one of the most sacked quarterbacks in the NFL.
Lenny
Right.
Leonard Fournette
And we talked about this during the draft, and we talk about this offline all the time. You know, your quarterback is only as good as the people he throwing to and the people protecting them. And if you can't, I don't care who you got on the outside, if you can't protect the quarterback and keep them off the ground, especially against a guy like Miles, Miles Garrett, you know, it's going to be a long day, so, you know, I'm excited to see how that one one plays out, but I think defense wins championships. And in that one, even though it'll be a fun game, I think very exciting if Cam is going against Shador, because, you know, they had that whole little thing in the offseason. Yeah. So it'll be exciting to see that. But I definitely think the Browns win that game 100%.
Lenny
Yes. Also. Also coming up.
Leonard Fournette
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Lenny
You know, can we talk about these Florida teams right now?
Leonard Fournette
Of course, of course.
Lenny
We got Tampa Bay Bucks versus the Cleveland Browns.
Leonard Fournette
Yes, sir.
Lenny
I can tell you the, the, the. The energy there.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Baker Mayfield's former team. Hey, I can tell you Bake Gonna come out there and try to whoop ass. Yeah, I can tell you. I can tell you that right now.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, he is gonna.
Lenny
He's the person that like to prove people wrong. Right. And of course the. A lot of people betted against him and he came to Tampa his first year and he cut up. He did his thing, but. But him losing Mike Evans, I don't know.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, Mike Evans is a hard one to replace, man. And Mike. But you know, they still have weapons. They still got guys that can make plays. You know, Bucky, he ran the ball well, caught the ball well at the backfield last year. So I'm excited to see that. Right. But you know, we'll see. You know, Tess Johnson came along toward the end, middle of the end of the year as well for Baker. Baker loved throwing the ball down the field so fast guys is his best friend. Right. So we'll see how that game is managed. You played there for two years, you know, what was it? What was it? What was that stadium like? Y' all got that big ass cannon. That was. That's loud as hell.
Lenny
Listen, that should have scared the out you. If you, if you're not paying attention. Yeah, you're not paying attention. And I mean, bro, this, this man, Tampa showed me so much love.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
You know, playoff Lenny came in effect, you know, and also what made a big difference. We were winning too. So, you know, people want to see the winners win, man. So everybody always came out. I can't. I could really remember the first. Our first game after winning our winning the super bowl, man. I'm talking about sold out everywhere. Sold out everywhere. I'm talking about. You go to restaurants. Oh, that's playoff Lenny. Give him. Oh, man, let him eat free, you know, give him this, give him that. You know what I'm saying? So we'll see. I know it kind of fell short last year. Hopefully. Hopefully it resembles the same effect that we had. And that should be a good, good. No, I'm gonna say that should be a great matchup.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Week two is. Week two is early on in the season, man. It's a good one non conference game to get played. I think if I'm not mistaken, Tampa Bay, early on last year, they. Man, it was hot.
Lenny
She was steaming.
Leonard Fournette
It was hot, man. And then something happened. We don't know what exactly happened. A couple guys went down, a couple injuries here and there, but you know, they lost, what I want to say, like six games in a row after winning five or six in a row. And they ended up finishing eight and nine and splitting the division well. Losing a tiebreaker of the NFC south with Carolina, which Carolina then steps into the playoffs, gives the Rams a run for their money. But I think the Tampa Bay Bucks, they have the nucleus. They have the guys. They bring in Ruben, Ruben Bane this year, which is one of my favorite picks of the draft. I'm excited to see how Todd Boyz uses him. I know you talked about it a little bit during draft night, so I'm excited to see the impact that he's going to have and I think that it's going to make the quarterback situation in Cleveland, whoever It is, week two very, very uncomfortable.

gambler and last but not least, I know I know we've been going on and on about these, these openers, these games, but this is my last time speaking on it. See, these overseas games, I'm not with it. I'm not gonna lie.
Leonard Fournette
Why not? I like it. Free trip. It's like going to the Pro Bowl.
Lenny
It's a free trip. But you know, when I was with Jacksonville, right, playing with the Jaguars, and we went to London, we played back to back weeks in London, bro, the food is terrible.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
There's no season, there's no nothing.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Bring your own show.
Lenny
Listen, you go out there, bro. You go out, bro. You go out there, bro, you see these, these, these pretty young ladies, right? And you know our culture. They smoking cigarettes. The young ladies over there smoking cigarettes.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah. Play a game. You going, baby, what is you doing? We walk.
Lenny
We. We walking. Listen, imagine you walking down the street seeing a bad thing, puffing the joe.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
What.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Where we at? What we doing?
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, but, but that's just the way it's. But do you feel like. But do you feel like having these overseas games, even though they've been successful, do you feel like it's a challenging for a player? Like you said, you met, you played over there a few times. I've played over there a few times. Do you feel like it's a challenge for players to, you know, get. Whether that's. Get healthy while you're traveling, you know, that far, you know, whether it's getting adjusted to the time, the, the footing, getting your footing and all of these different stadiums that you're playing in. Like, what was, what was maybe the biggest thing for you that like, you had to make sure happen, you know, to be comfortable playing on an overseas trip like that.
Lenny
So I'm gonna say this your first, my, your first time over there, right? My first time in London, we. We couldn't go to sleep for the first day.
Leonard Fournette
They kept y' all up. It kept us up, man. They touching y' all like that, bro.
Lenny
They kept. Then that's why I kind of didn't. Didn't like that, right? Yeah, they kept us up. They said, man, you have to get used to, you know, the, the sleeping pattern, right? Cause like when, when we was over there, bro, I was waking up 5:00 in the morning. Yeah, Fragas. At 9 or 8, whatever the case may be, bro, my sleeping pattern was. Was so off to where it's like we had the prior before that we was in. Back in Jacksonville, we had to say like sleeping. Like it was a. Sleeping lessons.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
To get your body used to certain things. So now you're on a plane ride. They're saying, don't fall asleep. I'm like, you want to play? I think the plane was like eight to eight or seven hours or something like that. Probably six, seven.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Yeah, bro.
Lenny
I'm like, man, I'm gonna turn this movie on. Go my ass to sleep. Not only that, y' all said we can't go to sleep, but you giving us a whole day just to walk around, to shop, to do this.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
You come back from that, having practice, you're still not tired. Your body is. You're still not tired.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
So for me, not even that. When we played in Germany, the field was terrible.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Yeah. The field is definitely, you know. You know, most for. For the fans out there and people watching that you don't know. Like, most of the fields that we play on are not conditioned for football. American football, it's more for soccer. Football, soccer. So it's a lot softer. It's a lot more slicker. It's very slick, actually. And even the turf that I've played on over there is very different. It's not what you see here in the United States. So, you know, if you see guys slipping, falling, you know, possibly changing cleats mid game, this is why, you know, I will say that that's one of the things that, for me, that was like a big problem as a receiver, being able to try to go out there and have to run routes on a surface that you only. You don't even get to practice on. You know, we do walkthroughs and maybe individuals, you know, on the teams that I play for, on the surface. So, you know, you're not actually filling it out at game speed, getting the game rep. So I think a lot of that has to play into these games, and teams take that to mind, and that's why some of these teams are getting that early. Jacksonville, as you mentioned, you know, they've got back to back weeks in London, so they going to probably stay out there for almost, you know, a month, if anything. Right?
Lenny
Listen, I'm going to tell you the truth. The reason why I threw that pick in Germany, If y'. All. If y' all didn't know. I'm gonna tell you the truth. I lost my footing.
Leonard Fournette
What? Damn. Damn. They don't care. They don't care about that. You're a pro. They just expect that you, you know, make the throw. They put you back there. They trusted you with the football. Make the throw, man.
Lenny
Look, I lost my footing and my wide receiver was Tom Brady, Thomas Brady, who has no hops, right? Who runs a five forever. I try to. I try to make a. I try to throw him a perfect ball, but as you know, the football gods didn't want that to happen. So something happened. Something had to happen.
Leonard Fournette
Right? Right. Right. Man, there's. There's. Man, let me know also, bro, there's. The NFL is expanding these games. Like, there's a trip to Australia, Brazil, London, Paris, Spain, Germany, Mexico City. Man, if you have to pick one of these to, To. To play, I know you played in Germany, you played in London, but Spain, France, New Mexico, Brazil, Australia, which one would you, which one would you choose?
Lenny
It gotta be. Listen, listen, listen. It just depends, right? Marketing wise. You gotta listen. First of all, you gotta talk, talk, talk to some of the. The heads up there in the organization, right? What best fits you as a player? You won't be. You won't be a American star or international star, right? That's. I would be international. So Brazil and Spain, it signed up my. It's up my alley.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Up my alley. Because you never know. You go crazy there. First of all, the fans, the fans overseas is crazy.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
It's not just the two teams. They have every single jersey from every single NFL team on in there.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And it's crazy. Like, the experience is crazy.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
So me personally, I got to be out of Brazil or Spain because, say, if you do go crazy, that game, you will be earning a lot more fans.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. You speak Spanish.
Lenny
See?
Leonard Fournette
Oh, my God. That's all you need to know. That's all you need to know. C. T. I love it, bro. I love it, man. That's. That's. That's great, man. It's great to see the NFL also expanding the game beyond, you know, the States, beyond London, you know, it's great for the sport, it's great for the game. It's great for, you know, other countries, right, that have players that inspire to play, you know, like a Pat Mahomes or like a Leonard Fernet, you know, like a lot of people that, you know, we watch play the game, you know, we bring the game closest to them and, and in doing so, you know, maybe, who knows, man, One of these guys are getting drafted. I think there was a guy drafted from what, Nigeria or, you know, that whole, that whole overseas thing. These guys are coming in each and every year, at least one, two, three, maybe even four guys get drafted each year from, you know, expanding the game beyond the United States. So shout out to the NFL for that, man. That's.
Lenny
Shout out to the NFL, man. Listen, rookie Minicap, it just ended, right?
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, I think so.
Lenny
This past week, I'm gonna let you know. To me, Ricky, minicap was kind of like a waste of time.
Leonard Fournette
Why?
Lenny
I mean, the, the, the. Besides learning the plays, you know, and, and getting the playbook under you, you just that working out. Working out. You have player development meetings.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. The whole time. Shit boring for you.
Lenny
Yeah, it was boring. Brian, go lie.
Leonard Fournette
Well, you a first round draft pick, you ain't had to do much. I'm sure you already was on the team.
Lenny
I, I was, but I still had to be with the fellas, right? I still had to be with my, my, my, my, my draft class. You know, this, this trying to, trying to say this. Leonard Fenette is not bigger than the program.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, 100%. You gotta pay it.
Lenny
Oh, here you go.
Leonard Fournette
This rookie shit, man. Look, I'm convinced, bro. You ain't have a, you ain't have an experience like some of us had paying dues, dog. Like it's a real thing.
Lenny
So I'm gonna say this right. My rookie minute camp wasn't as hard as the other guys who were kind of undrafted free agents, you know, trying to figure out whether they was gonna be on the team or not. I mean, there was times where I didn't have to take a lot of reps as everybody else. Probably two or three, right?
Leonard Fournette
Yep.
Lenny
I probably did two or three reps and other guys took more of them.
Leonard Fournette
And that's because, you know, you was already, they knew you was already a day one starter solidified. Yeah.
Lenny
Which is, which is, which is. It's not my fault, right? It's not my fault at all.
Leonard Fournette
No, it's not.
Lenny
Okay. Okay. Because I, I thought I was gonna get some, some feedback right, from you, some bullshit, you know what I'm saying? But I appreciate you, my brother. Also, we dealt with the rickets, but no vets are there. Yeah, the vets, the vets come and work out, you know, while we stay in the rookie meetings. They leave. I think they leave probably like 10:30ish, 11:30ish, and they out.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And you there till like 4 or 5 o'.
Leonard Fournette
Clock.
Lenny
Yeah, man, let me out here, bro. Please stop wasting my time.
Leonard Fournette
So, so, so I. Listen, I, I was, I had a different experience, right. I was a second round draft pick and I remember going through that whole OTA period and we had a new coach at the time, so, you know, everybody was there doing OTAs. And then when the rookie minicamp came, the vets left. And I remember practicing, you know, damn, taking second team and first team reps my rookie year and then going to the rookie camp and then taking every first team rep. And, bro, it was so hard. It was, like, tiring. It was hard. But it was also an opportunity to run routes that I wasn't getting the opportunity to run when I was with the whole team. Right. So I was able to show more about what I can do, the type of player I was, type of leader I was. I did come in with a little equity, Right. I came in with a little respect based on things that I had done at lsu. So most of the guys that we were competing against, that was rookies that was trying to make the team, even though I knew I was on the team, but I still was fighting for opportunity because I ain't know how it was going to play out.
Lenny
Right.
Leonard Fournette
Rookie minicamp was. Was. Was beneficial for me and very important. And I'm happy they've dialed it back a little bit. It used to be more intense. They used to. Man, what was the longest day you had during Ricky camp, Bruh?
Lenny
I'm not gonna say that day, but I, bro, I can't remember vividly. They had me doing special. Like, I did one special team rep. Yeah. So I'm like, bro, I told. I. I asked Coach Time Coughlin, I'm like, bro, why I'm back here? I'm just being real. Why. Why am I back here? It's like, because. And you know what to think about it, Rookie minicap, you had camp with a bunch of random ass dudes.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah.
Lenny
It's a bunch of. You never even heard of, like, yeah. So I'm like, all right, we. We know we doing this. It is what it is. But once you get out there, you got to do special team reps and everything. Jarvis, I haven't played special teams since my freshman year in. Since lsu.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And I played kick returner. I wasn't. I wasn't wedge blocking. I wasn't doing none of that.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, that's different.
Lenny
What?
Leonard Fournette
That.
Lenny
That is hard as hell.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And for those you who don't understand, see, special teams is more than just catching the ball and somebody blocking someone. If I could remember, there's P1 P2 P3, P4P. It's all type of shit goes on. And you have guys you have to execute and block to open up lanes for the kick returner. They had me doing that. And I told my position coach Tyrone Wheatley, who was. Who was a Michigan great who played running back at Michigan. I said, coach, I sure hope y' all think I'm not. I'm not. I'm not about to be back here doing this shit.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. No way.
Lenny
And at the time, this is the old NFL rules coming at you 100 miles per hour.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Which. I like the old rules better.
Lenny
Yeah, I love the old rules.
Leonard Fournette
I love the old rules better. With the new kick rules, though, like where the ball had to be kicked in a box, so it has to be returnable if it's kicked in the box. Like the mortar. Mortar style kicks. I like that a lot better than this new rule because, you know, you had time to make decisions, you had time to do a lot more things. But I will say. You mentioned random ass people. I will say there's a couple notable undrafted free agents that got their first shot at rookie minicamp that, that were stars within the last 25 years. Adam Thielen, it was the Vikings camp. Vikings rookie camp at 2013. In 2013. Malcolm Butler, he's a patriot champion. This, this is 2014 area. Foster out of Houston Texans in 09. Undrafted. Another one for you. Blow your mind. Tony Romo.
Lenny
What?
Leonard Fournette
He was undrafted.
Lenny
What the hell?
Leonard Fournette
He was in a rookie camp competing. Random guy. Victor Cruz, New York Giants.
Lenny
I knew that about. I knew that. Cruz, though.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Wes Welker, also in 04 to the Chargers. He was a. He was later cut and signed with the Dolphins. And obviously we know how, how that planned out for West. Well, Wes had a great career. And then, you know, our big guy, Debo James Harrison, you know, he did his thing, you know, won a couple championships, man. So it's, it's a, not of a, it's not a wasted minicamp, but, you know, it. It is also one of those things that's, that's very grueling. And most times coaches are just trying to fill a roster spots for special teams and maybe a little depth. And every now and then somebody sticks out a little bit more than somebody else. And before you know it, you know, you get one of these guys that we just mentioned that, you know, our future hall of Fame Famers and have done big things in this game, man. So I love it, bro. I love it. I love to hear your story and how it was like, different, you know, from. Because I never really seen the first round skill player minicamp and what it would look like, right? Like, because when I was here in the Dolphins, I got drafted with a guy in the first Round. His name was Juwan James. He played offensive tackle out of Tennessee, and he took every rep at rookie minicamp, and he took every rep at OTAs. So he didn't never get that whole treatment of, okay, special teams, go take a break. They were trying to make sure he was tough. They were trying to make sure he was ready. All of these things that he was keeping up with the playbook. So I saw that experience, and then, you know, we had a guy by the name of Devonte Parker who came in as well, first round receiver and. Yep. And at that time, we had a new coach and Adam Gase and Levante Parker. He's taking every rep, first team OTAs. He's taking every rep, first team rookie minicamp, which I was in around. But, you know, when I watched the footage and watch back from how he was doing and things like that, you know what I mean, it was interesting. Maybe he wasn't taking all the reps, but he was just, you know, he was still in there in the rotation pretty heavy. So to hear that, you kind of was just, you know, learning they throw you in there for a couple reps, you know. Very interesting, bro. Very interesting.
Lenny
I'm gonna say this right. And. And for people at home who don't doesn't understand this talk, we're saying, right. I'm gonna say, be not playing special teams kind of didn't help my career either. And guys like you, it helped because I can say this, say, if we were much more older and we. And we still had opportunities to play. Juice, you had a better chance on making a team because you had the resume of playing special teams.
Leonard Fournette
Yes. Special teams value.
Lenny
Yes. You had value of playing. I did not.
Leonard Fournette
Right.
Lenny
So I can honestly say on the back end of my career, when I went to. This happened right before probably two years ago, when I went worked out with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
It's like, man, Leonard, damn, we didn't expect you to be in shape like this. Caught every. Caught every pass, ran my routes fluently, was in shape, burst, et cetera. But, man, we're looking for special team players. I'm like, say, damn, like.
Leonard Fournette
And what you say you ain't say? You ain't say like, shade. I'll do that.
Lenny
I didn't say, listen, it's like they kind of already. They say, man, we know you don't have any experience. Like, it's like they had the answer for me, right? And it's like, man, we wouldn't want to do you that.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And I'm like, And I got back home on the plane like, damn, maybe I should have played special teams or. It's not that. The, the. The first round treatment is. Is something that's really real. Where in college, after my freshman year, I only mastered my craft at running back and that was it.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
I didn't have other opportunities to go bust a wedge or, you know, play gunner.
Leonard Fournette
Yep.
Lenny
Or anything else. I only played running back. So at the post, the end of my career, I think that was the deciding factor for the NFL. For me, I didn't have any special team experience at all. And I probably could have got at least two, three more years. I'm still fast, I'm still active, you know what I'm saying? I'm quite sure if I had the knowledge to know it and to do it, I would have done it at a high level. But hey, man, being at first rounder, sometimes it kind of. It hurts you at the end.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Yeah, man. So, yeah, you make a great point. So I would say this too, like, to people out there watching, coaches, players that's out there watching, you know, special teams is a bonus. Special teams is something that you always want to have that in your bag. There's guys like Darius Slayton that come to my mind, right. Who probably caught 30 passes out of his whole career, but he had a 16 year career on special teams. He was still able to make a good living playing special teams in the National Football League, doing what he loved to do. So if you really love the game, players, if you really love the game, right. Don't have pride or too much pride about not playing special teams. You know, a lot of guys, if they don't get their turn until they play special teams for a couple years, then a guy gets hurt, next man up, then they come in and they, because they stay ready, they. They able to have success. You know, we had a guy on the show, Raheem Mozart, he's a prime example of that. You know, there's tons of guys throughout the history of football, right, who were special teams players. And because they had special teams value, they were able to stay on the roster until their time came. And when their time came, they took advantage of it. Right. And that's also for the rookies out there. If you want to make the team, embrace special teams. If you're not on special teams, you're a rookie. First thing you do, you go to the coach and you say, hey, listen, I want to be a part of the special teams meetings. I want to be part of the special team depth chart. I want to make sure that they're being able to evaluate me no matter what position I'm in every single day. And that's how you stay recognizable, noticeable. That's how you make plays. That's how you extend the longevity of your career. We I, you know, there's a guy, LSU guy, James Wright, dog James Wright. Coming out of high school, you would have thought he was the next damn Calvin Johnson, right? He gets to lsu, you know, unfortunately, he doesn't have the career that he wants to have, right? But he was an animal on special teams. He was a height, weight, speed, guy could test well. And he did. He had a great pro day. He didn't get invited to the combine. He had a great pro day and he ended up getting drafted, I want to say, in the sixth round to the B value. To the Bengals. Actually to the Bengals. And James was able to have more catches in his NFL career than he had in his college career, all because of his special team's value. So take advantage of these rookie minicamps. Take advantage of special teams. You know, that's important, man. Please, coaches, if you got a star player, man, don't hinder this guy's career by not including them in some of these special teams decisions, man.

and we're talking about coaches. You know, we. It's still out there. We haven't addressed it, man, but I think it's. It's. I think it's time, man. You know, we got. We got this Mike Variable situation.
Lenny
Yeah.
Leonard Fournette
What's your thoughts on it now that more things are out in the media now, now that you maybe have a better feel? You know, I. I have a feeling about. About it as well. But I would love to know your thoughts about, you know, his future as a Patriot head coach. The whole scandal, everything that's happening. Let us know. Are you pleading the Fifth?
Lenny
Well, listen, I can say this here. The younger me. Right. The younger me, not me right now.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
I'm gonna say coach understands ball. Coach, no ball.
Leonard Fournette
That's funny, right?
Lenny
I'm just saying that's funny to get a young guy to play for you. And I'm just. I'm not saying coaches go out there and do that, but you're gonna catch some attention.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
From these players you drafting.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Coach understands what we go through, what we fighting. Let's go out there and ball for him, fellas. And I'm gonna leave it there.
Leonard Fournette
So. So. So my question. No, don't leave it there. I want to ask you a question. Follow up so is the standard different from, you know, a coach, specifically a white coach, to a black coach? Is there a different standard when we look at this type of. Type of situation?
Lenny
For sure. Because if that was a black coach, he'd be out there. He'd be out of there. Out of there, out of there.
Leonard Fournette
Now, no time to explain itself.
Lenny
No time to explain itself, huh?
Leonard Fournette
That's interesting. So. So, as a player, you telling me that it would excite you to know that your coach, who's a married man, has a relationship with the reporter and shit. No harm, no foul. It ain't got nothing to do with you. You trying to hype coach up.
Lenny
I just said the younger me, if I'm 23, 24, 22 ish, whatever, and I see that my coach. Coach, listen, Coach tripping. But I respect it, though, right? Gain respect game. Now, if I'm a vet.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, right.
Lenny
And I have done everything right to be where I'm at. No, coach, you don't do that. Yeah, come on now. You gotta be an example. Now, this. The older me talker be example for these young guys that's on my team. But you gotta think about it. If it's a young guy who just come from nil college, dealing with all the women and everything, they'll be like, damn, coach kind of, you know, he. Even though he's married, he get a glimpse of what we was going through.
Leonard Fournette
Right, right.
Lenny
And I'm gonna leave it there.
Leonard Fournette
Right, right, right, right. Yeah. I mean, my biggest thing here is like, you know, like, where's the etiquette? You know, who. Where. Where is the. Where is the etiquette? Where's the. What's the standard for situations like this? Right. We haven't seen the NFL come out and say anything about this situation. I think during the draft or right before the draft, we saw the Patriots release, you know, a very partial statement. Mike Vrabo came out also and spoke and said that he wasn't going to be with the team. He was going to go, you know, be with his family. And we haven't really saw if there's going to be any disciplinary actions happening around this situation, any internal team things happening around this situation, or if this is one of those things that, you know, we see, again, that gets pushed under the rug because it's a New England Patriot and he played there. He, you know. Yeah, yeah. And it's the Patriots, you know, it's Robert Kraft.
Lenny
Robert Kraft, Patriot way.
Leonard Fournette
I mean, I mean, I. I personally, you know, I've done a few Interviews with, with Dinah Rossini. I. I was totally shocked by this entire thing. I did not see it coming. I was blown away. Like most people was watching some of the things that have spiraled out of control over the last three weeks and, you know, I really couldn't believe it. And again, you know, nobody's perfect. I understand that people make, you know, dumb decisions, you know, each and every day, you know, but I think it's one of those things from a league standpoint. I would like to have seen some. A course of action taken surrounding this matter from the league because I know that if there was a black coach, I think it would have been a way different. Yeah, it would have been a way different, you know, propaganda around why we had to let this coach go. You know, it was a good example for our players. This, that and the third. Right? Yeah. So it's interesting to see how it's handled. Obviously, it's not over and we'll see, you know, what happens here in the near future. Along with that note, along with that note, you know, we got a Hard Rock bet segment. There's a. There's a coach of the year bet out there. Wager out there for Mike Vrabel. That's plus what that is 10,000 plus 10,000 for him being a kosher the year man. So that's funny as hell, by the way. I think.
Lenny
Listen, listen, Hey, I think he could do it, my brother, man.
Leonard Fournette
They say Diana Rossini was the X factor. That's crazy. Moving. Moving on.
Lenny
That's moving on. Listen,
Leonard Fournette
that's crazy.
Lenny
Jarvis, I don't know if you've been paying attention to my Tick Tock live. I've been on Tick Tock for the last couple of weeks, right?
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lenny
And no, a brother of ours who's all. Who's also on there, which is Antonio Brown.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. So we had a.
Lenny
We had a discussion with AB. I said, AB, do you feel like you're the best wide receiver ever to play the game? His answer? Yes. So I'm gonna ask you this, like, ever, Ever, ever. He said, he said, what six round do you know, did this? This, this, this, this. Okay, cool. Now. And you didn't know nothing about this? He said he's better than Kelvin Johnson. So this week we have. I need everybody to. I need everybody to. Together. Wow, the preacher is preaching.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Is Antonio Brown better than Kelvin Johnson? Here's some stats. Let's talk about it.
Leonard Fournette
Talk about it, talk about it.
Lenny
Kelvin Johnson played nine seasons in the NFL. Kelvin Johnson played 135 games. Right. Antonio Brown played 12 seasons in 146 games. Uh huh. 11 more games receiving yards Kelvin Johnson 11,619. Antonio Brown 12,291 receiving touchdowns Kelvin Johnson 83. Antonio Brown 88 Pro Bowls. Kelvin Johnson, sixth consecutive Antonio Brown, seven All Pro selections. Kelvin Johnson 3 first team and 1 second team. Antonio Brown 4 first team, 1 second team. Yards per game. Kelvin Johnson 86.1, which is number one all time among a hundred players in the game. Antonio Brown 64.7 single season receiving yards Kelvin Johnson 1964. God damn.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah.
Lenny
And 2012. Antonio Brown 1834 in 2015. You play wide receiver and Legitimate, legitimate. He has the stats to back it up.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, listen, listen. Calvin Johnson is the greatest receiver, one of the greatest receivers of all time. I would say playing nine seasons and putting up these same numbers is insane. And I think Kevin Johnson walked away from the game because he wanted to. Obviously we know Anton. Antonio Brown walked away from the game because he wanted to. Right? But I would say based on the numbers, I just think that Calvin was a different beast, bro. He was a different animal. You know, I'm a huge fan of Antonio Brown. A lot of the, A lot of how I play was very much, you know, to replicate Antonio Brown because you know, height and, and size wise, it was very comparable. Comparable. Like I felt like I wanted to be that type of player. Right. But Kelvin Johnson was a one of one type of player. He was a guy that comes around once every now and then and you rarely compare other guys to him. Right. And he played nine seasons. I think if he even plays, if they play an equal amount of seasons, just looking at the numbers, you know, he's into the 15, 000 mark of yards. 15,000. You know what I mean? So I don't think that Antonio Brown don't have a case. Yeah, I do think he has a case, but I think he just, you know, you know, maybe trying to, trying to, trying to go up against the wrong guy on this one.
Lenny
Well, well I'm glad you said that because in his words, he's the best wide receiver to ever come out of Miami. Period. I said so. You better. Michael Irvin. Yes. Andre. Andre Johnson. Yes, yes, yes, yes. This is, this is, this is proof now.
Leonard Fournette
Ab. AB did have like two, two three year run. Maybe like a four year run, bro.
Lenny
Where and crazy.
Leonard Fournette
He was, he was unstoppable.
Lenny
Yes.
Leonard Fournette
Like nah, he was unstoppable, dog. Like, you know what I mean? And I think that how he dominated the game. A lot of it transpired from guys that came before him, bro. Like, like Andre Johnson and, and. And Michael Irvin Ocho Cinco. San Antonio was Antonio Moss. Antonio Moss, man, was. These guys were. Were insane, man. And Florida breathed so much talent at the receiver position. But I think Antonio Brown, for not only being, you know, top five, top 10 best receivers of all time, I think top 10 best receivers of all timeS, definitely in that 15, 15 category, which is unheard of, being all the receivers that played the game, but out of South Florida, man, I think that he did have a run that was. That was unmatched, you know, and he had all of the. The showmanship to go with it from the celebrations, you know, he inspired a generation, bro.
Lenny
Definitely.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, I definitely think he inspired a generation. And. And I wish it would have worked out and he still would be playing today, I'm sure, because, you know, he did all the right things, took care of his body. He was a dumb game changer. But yeah, the Calvin Johnson thing, I think Kevin Johnson wins that one. But as far as being the best coming out of Florida, especially at the sixth round, and knowing his story and having trained with A.B. looked up to A.B. you know, I will say, yeah, he definitely, rightfully so, earned that for sure.
Lenny
Gotcha. All right. All right.
Commercial Announcer
Maybe.
Lenny
Maybe he wasn't tripping. I like that. I like that.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, yeah.
Lenny
So next we're gonna do college mixtapes.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Overrated or Underrated? I'm gonna give you some names. Yeah, let me know. Tavon Austin.
Leonard Fournette
Oh, man. College holiday table.
Lenny
Yes.
Leonard Fournette
Underrated. His was so crazy. Yeah, it was so crazy. It was crazy about that.
Lenny
I can remember watching that high school when I was in high school, dog,
Leonard Fournette
man, he was in crazy. He was crazy. Ain't nothing like him in college, bro. Like, yeah, he did. He did his thing where it wasn't even. No, no, no question why he, you know, wasn't winning the Heisman. You know, Maxwell player of the year, you know, rightfully deserved.
Lenny
Okay. Reggie Bush.
Leonard Fournette
Oh, man. Underrated. Tape. Crazy. Tape is crazy. Yeah. It speak for itself. Everybody that ever played football watched reservation. I don't care. Old lineman that in the past, when they were younger that probably had dreams of being a receiver or a tight end or any other position. Watch Reggie Bush that play old lineman in the NFL today. Coaches that's probably coaching today. Watch Reggie Bush highlight tape. Scouts that scouting players right now has watching Reggie Bush highlight tape. And, you know, one thing I realized, I've never seen no one compare a Player over the last 10 years to Reggie Bush.
Lenny
You can't.
Leonard Fournette
I've never seen that comparison.
Lenny
Can't.
Leonard Fournette
He was that special, bro.
Lenny
Yeah. I mean, for you to back, juke and hold up, hold the ball behind your back. Come on, bro.
Leonard Fournette
Like, yeah, he's the same.
Lenny
Yeah. You know what? We never. Okay, we never get into that.
Leonard Fournette
Percy Harvin, underrated. Underrated. Percy Harvin, underrated. And then he got to the. Then when he got. I mean, before he got injured, bro, when he was at the Vikings. Vikings.
Lenny
Oh, my God. Bubble, bubble. Screen. God. Catching it and doing. Doing. Doing whatever to you. Pause. I'm talking about. Hey, it's. It's no tackling that, man. One on one, bro.
Leonard Fournette
He was crazy, bro. He was doing all kind of stuff, bro. Like, honestly, I don't think the Vikings would have went that far. I mean, him and AP Brett Favre by that time was a little bit older, banged up. You know, them two guys carry that team, bro. And coming out of Florida, bro, he was always. He was do it all guy, you know, return punts, kicks, just sweep screens down the field. Amazing player.
Lenny
Okay, Michael Vick, come on now.
Leonard Fournette
Come on now. You. What you think?
Lenny
To be honest, I don't know. I don't know why we got big on here, bro. Hey, a dog.
Leonard Fournette
Dog. Animal.
Lenny
A dog.
Leonard Fournette
There would be no. There will be no Cam Newton. There will be no brother. There will be no Cam Newton. There will be no Tyrod Taylor. There will be no DeSean Watson. Shador Sanders.
Lenny
Lamar.
Leonard Fournette
Lamar Jacksonvon. My God, how long have you. Lamar Jackson.
Lenny
Yeah.
Leonard Fournette
You know what I mean? Like, you know, Vic was he. He was the perfect dual quirk quarterback. Like, we saw guys like Warren Moon and. And my guy Doug, you know what I mean? We saw guys that was pocket passers, did. Did a little bit of running, but for a dual threat quarterback, we hadn't seen nothing like it until Michael Vick, definitely.
Lenny
And last. Lamar Jackson.
Leonard Fournette
Lamar Jackson. His senior year was crazy. I wasn't in his junior year. The last year he played before he got drafted that year, I think it was his junior year.
Lenny
Junior.
Leonard Fournette
Insane. Insane.
Lenny
Overrated. Underrated.
Leonard Fournette
Underrated. It looked like he was playing against high school players out there in the league.
Lenny
Yeah. And guess what? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I gave it to you. I can't. I can't argue with that.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, bro, I don't know. I don't think it was a. I don't think he had enough. He was given enough credit early on for what he could do. And I think that. That's why he dropped in the draft. But Baltimore saw the vision. Yeah, Baltimore saw the vision.
Lenny
Yeah, you're right. Hey. Hey. This. This was a good ass list.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, no, that was a good list. It was a good list. What about. What about. What about Leonard Fournette highlight tape. Overrated or underrated?
Lenny
See?
Leonard Fournette
See?
Lenny
You know, it's crazy. I. I don't really watch it like that, but a lot of people say I have one of the best cottage highlights.
Leonard Fournette
You was trucking.
Lenny
Yeah, I was like. I was out running. You know what, bro? I'm so glad. Listen, listen, I'm so glad we. We talking about this, right? A lot of people when it, when it comes to the running backs, that's like in the late 2000s, they don't mention me like that. Probably because I didn't win. Win nothing. Right? I didn't win like that. You know, they have in my class. It was. Well, not my class, but guys who I was playing in the same era with. Zeke, Derrick Henry and Christian McCaffrey. Right. So let me, let me. Let's go google some things right fast. Derrick Henry total rushing yards was 3591. He had a. In his three seasons during Alabama, he recorded 603 carries and he averaged 6.66 yards of carry before the two rushing touchdowns. No, he won the Heisman. And including SEC record two, 219 yards. Ezekiel Elliott, he works for 3961 yards. He had three years at Ohio State. He added 43 rushing touchdowns and he recorded 592 carries. And he. And he finished for the second lead in Russia in his school history. Christian McCaffrey total yards his total 303,922 yards in his three season. In three seasons he averaged 6.2 yards of carry with 21 rushing touchdowns, adding 1200 and six receiving yards with 10 touchdowns.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, like almost 5, 000 all purpose, y'. All.
Lenny
There's this new way. Y'.
Leonard Fournette
All don't.
Lenny
People don't be mentioning me with my guys. Come on, bro. Y', all like I know I ain't, you know, Heisman, none of that but damn, bro, don't disrespect me like that, bro. So Leonard Fernet, 3830 yards. And not to mention I set out the rest of my junior right?
Leonard Fournette
Yeah. Across.
Lenny
Oh, and I did. I did this in 32 games. Recorded 616 carries with 40 touchdowns. Also he joined. I. I'm. I'm being selfish. I joined a list that they're not on. I rushed for a thousand yards in five games. I was a 10 player to do that.
Leonard Fournette
Thousand yards in five games?
Lenny
Yes.
Leonard Fournette
What's that? What's that? What's that average per game? Like 300, 250, bro.
Lenny
I was averaging probably like 230.
Leonard Fournette
My lord, man. A man amongst boys and this.
Lenny
And against legitimate SEC teams.
Leonard Fournette
No, I already know. You know. You ain't gotta tell me.
Lenny
So it's like, listen. Listen to everybody out there. When y'. All. When y'.
Leonard Fournette
All.
Lenny
When we talking. Talking that ball talk. Please, bro.
Leonard Fournette
Right? Say my please.
Lenny
Don't do. Don't do me that. I. I just had to get that off my chest. So this. This. This is the last. Our last of our last. We used to do Lenny's segment, but this. This segment is Keeping It Hot with Juice.
Leonard Fournette
And Lenny.
Lenny
Well. Nah, but this.
Leonard Fournette
You Lenny.
Lenny
It could be a little bit of me, but, you know.
Leonard Fournette
Lenny, I got a hot take for you.
Lenny
Okay.
Leonard Fournette
Do you put the milk before the cereal or the cereal before the milk?
Lenny
I put the cereal first.
Leonard Fournette
Me too.
Lenny
I do, but they got people in the world that. That put the. That put the milk first.
Leonard Fournette
I think they got some people out there like that.
Lenny
That's weird. I ain't going to lie. Yeah, y' all ass backwards.
Leonard Fournette
Who you think is funnier? Cat Williams. Kevin Hart.
Lenny
I gotta go. I gotta go. Cat bruh.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
Like. Like, maybe. Maybe because he's changed, because he's more like, you know, I'm not gonna say he's. He's not Holly. He's Hollywood. But like, I used to love watching Kevin Hart and Paper. Paper Soldiers and.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah.
Lenny
And soul playing like, you know, And I' ma say honestly, after watching his. Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart roast, I gotta go with Cat bruh.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, well, you know, I mean, that's. That's been Cat's, you know, propaganda, right? That's been his mission to be saying, you know, that Kevin Hart sold out, you know, that. You know, he took all these different roles to essentially, you know, level himself up. Which. Can we blame him, right? Can we blame him? Because he. To me, he was great in Jumanji, you know, he, you know, saying he. He was. He was great in a bunch of these other roles, and some of them was. Was, you know, not as good, but, you know, he was. He was great to think like a man. You know what I mean? So. So it's. It's interesting to. To. To have a take about it. Two guys that's, you know, doing. I hate to See that? They're beefing.
Lenny
I hate this, but they, they, they, they. They immense it. They're good now, man.
Leonard Fournette
You know how that goes. We do it for the camera. You know what I'm saying? You know, Tim Hardaway. Tim Hardaway, prime example. When we go out there for the fans, we shaking hands, we waving after the fans. It's up. I'll be waiting backstage for you. You heard me. So. But I mean, I think it's interesting, man. Another hot take. Shador Sanders will lead. Shador Sanders will start the season and lead the Browns to the playoffs. What you think about that?
Lenny
I think. I think Deshaun has it right now, man. Like, you know, I'm. I'm. I'm a Shador advocate, but I think. I think Deshaun is in Deshaun's hands right now. My guy.
Leonard Fournette
Sorry. Yep, Yep.
Lenny
Sorry.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, man, I think so, too, man. But we shall see. Last one. I know you picked your super bowl pick being Kansas City. Has that changed or you still riding with kc, winning it all this year?
Lenny
I'm still. I'm still rolling with kc. I think a healthy Patrick Mahomes, healthy Travis, healthy Chris Jones. It's scary over there, man.
Leonard Fournette
Yeah, they can't see Swifties are out.
Lenny
Yes, they are. Yeah, they are. They are definitely on.
