Jonas Knox
With Colin Cowher on Fox Sports Radio.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, that's right. It's the herd here at Fox Sports Radio. No, Colin Cowherd. Instead, it's two pros and a cup of Joe. Myself, Jonas Knox alongside Levar Arrington and Brady Quinn. We will be taking you all the way up until 3:00 Eastern Time, noon Pacific here at FSR as we are a little over a week away from Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans. We are going to be there next week. Is this the proverbial calm before the storm or are we at the point to where we're just kind of. We. We've run through the. The gauntlet of topics to get ready for this one game. How we feeling?
Jonas Knox
It's the com before Lavar. It gets to New Orleans. That's what it is.
LeVar Arrington
That's right.
Ryan Wilson
We have to be very careful about calm before storms while speaking on referencing New Orleans. So, you know, it's a little too soon, you know, I mean, you know.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, that's fair. That is fair.
Ryan Wilson
Just got to be careful with storms and all that stuff.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Ryan Wilson
But Lavar is going to show up and he will touch down on a slur. Okay, there we go. Yeah. Imma jump on a hurricane.
LeVar Arrington
That walk.
Jonas Knox
I. I love how you just told us we need to temper it down and then you just made a song out of it. That was great.
Ryan Wilson
I'm black. I can do. Damn, I can get away with it.
Jonas Knox
On that note.
Ryan Wilson
I am a black man. Going to leverage.
Jonas Knox
It's great.
Ryan Wilson
You know, it's easy to leverage it these days. So I'm. I'm going to go ahead and rock with it.
Jonas Knox
You're going to lean into it, huh?
Ryan Wilson
I'm going lean all the way into it.
LeVar Arrington
All right, so how do I. I'm just trying to figure out how we.
Ryan Wilson
Bang, bang. Got it going early. If you weren't stimulated, I got to. If your ears weren't perked up, they perked up.
Jonas Knox
Now who put together this rundown? I did not Got to talk about this subject to start off the show.
LeVar Arrington
I. I did not. I will not be held accountable for this.
Jonas Knox
Ryan, who put us together.
LeVar Arrington
That was. What do you mean? That's lead to laugh. That's a lead to laugh special. Ryan. Music had nothing to do there Wasn't.
Ryan Wilson
Even an email, by the way. You know, so I'm blind.
LeVar Arrington
You got the Lee mail.
Ryan Wilson
I have the Lee mail. I mean, I know y'all expect me to be in up to date on all this technology and be into the. The Google or the Docs and all that stuff. I'm not.
Jonas Knox
Can we bring in Ryan for this and ask him if. Is it that hard to log into a Google Doc?
LeVar Arrington
Ryan, I've. I've seen the challenges that can come up with Google Docs. So, you know what, you know, lead Dilap, who is your fantastic producer for your guys's regular show through the regular time slot? He's. He's going through a lot right now. I don't know if you guys know this. I'm going to peel back the curtain. Oh, lead to that. May be homeless right now. So the guy's going through a lot. Cut him some slack. There's just a time of transition.
Ryan Wilson
If you have to expand on that. What do you sell me? What do you mean?
Lee
Yeah, I got a notification after my, you know, afternoon nap yesterday that our place was being rented out for the month, so I had a few hours to get ready to pack up the entire place.
LeVar Arrington
Google Docs at the bottom of his priority list right now. So we're just. Have some grace.
Jonas Knox
Have some grace.
LeVar Arrington
Why didn't you say anything, Lee?
Ryan Wilson
You're trying to rent. You were trying to rent it out.
Lee
I have rented it out.
Jonas Knox
Someone set the stage, please. So someone set the stage for this.
Ryan Wilson
Oh, God.
Lee
So, yeah, my. My place is now. I don't have anywhere to go after the show. I'll just be here until we go to New Orleans. I can't wait. Sleep at a hotel.
Jonas Knox
You have. This is a new audience. You have to explain in 30 seconds how you got to being homeless right now.
LeVar Arrington
Is this real?
Jonas Knox
Like, this a real.
Ryan Wilson
I can't hear the realness in his voice.
LeVar Arrington
Like, I'm stunned. Like, oh, my God.
Ryan Wilson
How do you not keep up with your boy's feelings, man? That's your. That's your.
LeVar Arrington
He didn't tell me. I didn't know anything.
Lee
You guys didn't pick up that there was nothing done on the Google Doc until about 30 minutes before the show today.
LeVar Arrington
That's not outside the norm.
Jonas Knox
Still looks like there's nothing done. Let me. Let me fill everyone quickly. Okay. Lee is in. Let's just call it a relationship.
Ryan Wilson
Although it's relationship purgatory, but go ahead.
Jonas Knox
Yeah. Pretty volatile at best.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
And he happens to share a place with this Loved one. And they, I guess, are trying to sell it. They fixed it up trying to sell it to leave, and she's gone for what, two weeks, Lee?
Lee
Yeah, I actually just dropped her off at LAX on the way here. She actually flew back in to help me get the place ready.
Jonas Knox
Okay, so hold on. Update us, because the last we heard, you're trying to sell it, not trying to rent it. This changes things.
Ryan Wilson
To get away. Yeah. It's just not just to sell it. To sell it. You were selling it so y'all could get away from one.
LeVar Arrington
That's right.
Ryan Wilson
Let's be clear on this.
Jonas Knox
So you could get away from her.
Ryan Wilson
But. Yeah. Yes.
Lee
Yes, it is. It is listed. Well, now it's not. Now we've taken it off listings. We canceled all our open houses this weekend.
Ryan Wilson
Why is that, Lee?
Lee
Because it's. Because I rented it out for the month.
Jonas Knox
You're renting it for only a month.
Ryan Wilson
Yes, but if you can sell it while you're renting it, Lee, like, you put them in the homeless situation. Let the renters go find another place to rent. Lee, there's another reason why you took it off the listing to sell it. Tell the truth.
Lee
Well, the realtors wanted to take it off. It doesn't look good that it's just sitting there without an open house and all that stuff. It's not.
Jonas Knox
Well, maybe it's the lounge chair in the kitchen or the bedroom, by the way.
Ryan Wilson
And the.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, the. The gun holes, the gunshots in the bedroom.
Lee
We got a family.
Ryan Wilson
Or.
LeVar Arrington
Or the revolver hanging from the ceiling.
Ryan Wilson
Maybe they just don't want to sell the home because maybe they're trying to figure out if their love has rekindled.
Jonas Knox
I mean, that's what I think it is clearly here. And I think you're onto this.
Ryan Wilson
Yes.
Lee
So now there's a family of five sleeping in my kitchen. Yes.
LeVar Arrington
All right.
Ryan Wilson
Who's the family of five in the.
Jonas Knox
Are they related to Jonas?
Ryan Wilson
Dang.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, Lee, sorry about the pickup truck and yard rake.
Jonas Knox
Did you say Jose's landscaper? What do you say?
LeVar Arrington
So.
Katie Couric
Wow.
LeVar Arrington
I had no idea.
Jonas Knox
So. That we really try hard not to get asked to be back on the herd.
LeVar Arrington
That might explain why the topic says, let's start off with Justin Tucker, which I'm not really sure why. Why somebody put. Put two. Why did somebody put two GS in the middle of his last name?
Ryan Wilson
I don't get it.
LeVar Arrington
Who's. Who's the class act here on the. On this show? So from Lee's situation, which nobody really knew about until. Till just moments ago to the situation involving Justin Tucker, who, you know, apparently.
Ryan Wilson
Went to school with Deshaun Watson.
LeVar Arrington
I. Listen, I don't want to make those jokes here. All right? Like, that's.
Ryan Wilson
It's too soon.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, well, I think it. I think it's too soon. And we're not. You know, there's. There's a lot of people out there that. That are high up in the NFL, like Robert Kraft, who don't want to see the league tarnished like this. So I just. I think it's.
Ryan Wilson
Bobby Orchids.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah. I just think it's fair that we. That we represent this in the proper manner.
Ryan Wilson
I'm sorry. Let's go.
LeVar Arrington
From the Baltimore Banner. Justin Tucker had a little bit of an issue at some massage parlors between 2012 and 2016. At least six different massage therapists accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior. The details are gross. I mean, you could look that up. You know, some things left behind that probably shouldn't have been any. Whoa, what?
Ryan Wilson
DNA.
LeVar Arrington
What Possibly. And multiple spas immediately terminated him as a client. Tucker is denied this. The NFL is investigating. And it just begs the question, you know, maybe this might have been what. Why he was struggling this year. Maybe there was some stuff that was about to come out, and he was having a little bit of an issue focusing, so. There's wrongs.
Jonas Knox
Wrong with guys, man. Can't they just, like, be a pro on and off the field? Like, what is. I don't get it. I. I really don't. It's not that complicated. It's not that hard. Well, I guess in this case, it probably was.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Yeah.
Ryan Wilson
Very.
Jonas Knox
It's something about the AFC north, man.
Ryan Wilson
Seems like that's what you're gonna go with.
Jonas Knox
No, I'm just saying, like, it's. It seems to be there's a different.
Ryan Wilson
AFC in there, though, with Bobby Orchid. So there is a little bit sprinkled in from a different afc, but it does seem.
Jonas Knox
But aren't they the most northern AFC east team, or is Buff far more further north?
Ryan Wilson
It doesn't even really matter, right? I mean, that's a New England state. Like, it's a New England place. It's very far north, you know, Cleveland north. Well, Midwest. Dang. Now Baltimore. Baltimore's. What is Baltimore? That's not north north, is it? That's, like, the lowest.
Jonas Knox
It's AFC North. It's north for the NFL standards.
Ryan Wilson
It's. There you go. I. I mean, hey, tomato, tomato. The bottom line here is, is that something incorrect? Is Taking place. I'm. I'm curious as to now. Now it crosses racial barriers for certain, not just because they're not. There's power. You could say, you know, Robert Kraft, you know, with his situation at Orchids of Asia, like, okay, whatever, he's an owner, like, he's not going to get fired or, you know, I don't know, you know, with what he deals with. But now you have two players that have gone through the same exact situation. What. What?
LeVar Arrington
It's just like.
Ryan Wilson
Like, let's just breeze over Robert Craft.
LeVar Arrington
Like, you. You were thinking black and white. I was just thinking weirdo. Like, I don't know. I don't know if that's a race.
Ryan Wilson
I'm glad it doesn't. I'm glad it doesn't just settle down. And I. I'm glad it situated itself in a weirdo category. You know what I mean? Like, it's just. It's so simple sometimes so easy to fall into just kind of maybe, you know, stereotyping or, you know, drawing a quick conclusion. And for what it's worth, I've always said kickers are people, too. And you know what? Now Justin Tucker has taken that. That definition to a whole nother level. Like, he didn't want to just be seen as a player, like, you're a person, too, on the football team. He wanted to be looked at as, like, you know, like the quarterback. Like, this is one of the main positions. And I'll show you, we get the same type of action that. That the quarterbacks get. And. And I think this was the wrong way to go about proving that to the people and to the culture, to. To the fans, but nonetheless, he did. So here we are, and we're talking about it.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, that's.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah, there you go.
LeVar Arrington
Not great. Brady, your thoughts on this whole situation involving Justin Tucker, and it's ridiculous.
Jonas Knox
I mean, hopefully things will, you know, be better on the up and up. I mean, that's all you can really say. I mean, I just. You hope that all the things that have been put out there aren't true, but it's hard when there's this much smoke. I mean, that was. It was the same thing with. Even in Deshaun Watson's case, as much as you, you know, looked at the. The allegations and you're saying, okay, in this country, it's. It's innocent until proven guilty. What came to my mind was, you know, he had 30 some allegations, and then you had, like, 30 some that came out in his defense. And my first question was, why the hell do you have 60 massage therapists? Like 34 year 30 against you, however. I mean, the whole thing was ridiculous.
Ryan Wilson
Well, you're in one city.
Jonas Knox
All you needed at that point in time was one, maybe two. Right? Like, you don't need 60. Or however, massage therapists. In this case, when you look at the details, it's alarming because you're saying, well, why. Why did he have so many massage therapists just in Baltimore? Now, he's been there forever, and he's been extremely successful and maybe, you know, wanted to change things, whatever. I'm sure there's some sort of rationale or something to this, but I. I just. It's hard to buy into it that he's completely innocent. And I know I'm going against what I just said a moment ago, but again, it just. It's hard when there's this much smoke not to think that there's something more. There's.
Ryan Wilson
How many allegations are against Tucker?
LeVar Arrington
He was kicked out of at least six massage therapists. He was kicked out of a bunch of different spas in the Baltimore area.
Ryan Wilson
What type of spawns were they? Do we know the type? Were they red light spalls? Were they, like. Were they upscale spawn?
Jonas Knox
You told me, Lavar, like, if they had a water table. That was like the telling signs, what you said.
LeVar Arrington
Is that what you said, Lavar?
Ryan Wilson
I don't recall that, but if Q said it, then I probably mentioned it.
LeVar Arrington
Huh. That's interesting.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah, I just. I've always known that if, if it had. Like, this is what I learned when I was early in the league, and I won't. I'll leave some of my teammates nameless. But he always said, look for the red open sign. That's the massage parlor. He he them. They enjoyed going to where? The massage parlor. Spa. Spas.
Jonas Knox
So you're saying, like on 10pm on a Tuesday night, that red sign should not say open is what you're saying.
Ryan Wilson
It probably shouldn't say open.
LeVar Arrington
That's so reckless. There's my favorite Indian food place back home. They have a red open sign. I'm not gonna lie.
Jonas Knox
That's a restaurant.
Ryan Wilson
That's a restaurant. And even to that point, there might be a soda machine, there might be a, A, like a. A door off to the side, and that's connected to that open side.
LeVar Arrington
So you pull a candle down by.
Ryan Wilson
The fireplace open, you walk right in.
LeVar Arrington
I'll try that.
Ryan Wilson
Speakeasies like that. And they got rub easies like that. I'm just saying. Damn.
LeVar Arrington
All right, you know, hey, listen.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah, I mean, hey, look, red open sides. Hey, people out there, I'm putting you up on a little game. If you, if you see a massage parlor and it's in a city and you just happen to be walking by like Q said, and it's like nine, you know, 10 o'clock and it says open, chances are that's, that's the massage parlor that these guys, you know, we're going to.
LeVar Arrington
All I'll just say is this somebody who listens to our show in the morning from 6 to 9 Eastern Time. It was pretty connected in the Baltimore area. He sent me a message before this stuff came out and he says it's legit. So if that's.
Ryan Wilson
It's a legit spa.
LeVar Arrington
A legit.
Jonas Knox
How the hell would he be?
LeVar Arrington
Well, you know, apparently there's also some tweets that have been next door. Well, no, there's some tweets that were sent out a few years back that kind of indicated something was going on that everybody in the area kind of knew. It wasn't a very well kept secret that Justin Tucker had, you know, some issues with this and had been kicked out of several places.
Ryan Wilson
So, I mean, that gives, that gives a new meaning to his name now, doesn't it? Just A Tucker. Yeah, like, I mean, definitely, it's, it's differently.
LeVar Arrington
Here's my question though. From an NFL standpoint, how does the league handle this? Like, how did they.
Ryan Wilson
Got to sit them down. Yeah, I mean, got to shut them down and depending on like, you know, they'll leave it up to. And I know Q is the, the, the legal guy here, but.
LeVar Arrington
Sure is.
Ryan Wilson
I'll just say this.
Jonas Knox
I mean, I have no idea why.
Ryan Wilson
I don't either. But you're good at it. You sound like you know it, so I defer, but I'll just say Deshaun Watson set the tone for. I mean, maybe Bobby Orchids did. Robert, Robert Kraft set the tone, but desean did it for players. And whatever it is that, that has come out and has popped up, they have to, they have to get Justin Tucker out of the way. He can't be like he's a kicker. It's not like he's, I mean, but he's a, he's a high profile kicker, but he can't be on the field. First things first. No matter if he, you know, the whole innocent till proven guilty, that's fine. He can't be active right now. That's first things first. It's like he can't be active. I would. I would assume that'd be the first step cue that would be taken as just making sure people know that they're investigating it, they're aware of it, and until further notice of what. What's going on, till we find out more about what's going on, you know, Justin Tucker is probably to just stay away and stay wherever he's going to be, but not be at the facility or a part of anything that's Ravens related.
Jonas Knox
I would assume this is a classic case of why the commissioner's exempt list was created because you're able to determine what the facts are and figure this out. Now, there's a couple of different things at play here, right. I don't know if the lawsuit's civil in nature or if it's criminal in nature from this report, because that makes a big difference, Right. If it's criminal, obviously the burden of proof to prove what he did was wrong is much greater. However, you know, in regards to the player conduct policy, both still play a factor. But if it's a criminal conviction, if that happens down the road, you think that not only is the evidence more damning that not only are they going to know from a legal standpoint, but also the NFL is going to be able to find out. The suspension would be just as punitive. Meaning Watson's was, I believe, 11 games, which not to get off on a tangent here, I am curious to know because of how everything transpired with the trade and he goes to Cleveland. If they weren't playing Houston in that Week 12 game back in 2022 in December, if it would have been longer and if it would have been, you know, any. Any more, you know, again, putative only because I think the NFL, NFL was kind of selling that. They might not want to admit that, but selling every part of that. The fact that he's in Cleveland, he's making his return to Houston. Yeah, like that's. That's something's going to make people want to tune in and watch.
LeVar Arrington
It is kind of a random number to throw out on a suspension. You know, like two games, four games. That has 11. It's like, you know, come on.
Jonas Knox
Well, I can't recall if there was any tweaking to that number. If he had appealed it and they had reduced it, which I can't again imagine. And I don't remember that being the case. So the 11 number was just kind of odd. Typically, they like even numbers. If you guys recall, back during the Ray Rice situation, it kind of became almost common that if there was A domestic violence issue, it'd be six games. That was the minimum.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Ryan Wilson
That players were doing or forever or unstated or unwritten.
Jonas Knox
So. So in this case, it really comes down to I think, what the, the NFL or is able to gather. But I think you, you'll have an idea. I haven't looked to see if it's criminal or civil, but that, that'll give you a sense if it's civil. Again, burden proof is a lot harder to be able to award. You know, in this case, the, the plaintiffs, what they're looking to get, and.
Ryan Wilson
You will be a little bit lenient. More lenient if you're the league. Right. If it's civil, if it's.
Jonas Knox
So here's the thing.
Ryan Wilson
It might hit a little different. Correct.
Jonas Knox
Well, I'll put up, I mean, I don't know how deep we want to go in this right now, but I don't think that matters as much. I, I think what, you know, what they're gonna have as far as what they can prove from an evidence standpoint is why I'm bringing this up. Because if you have a really big slam dunk case and you'll probably try both, it'd be criminal and civil. Right. If you don't have quite as much damning evidence, you probably wouldn't want to go the civil route because that's the only way you're gonna probably be able to feel like, you know, your plaintiff is going to be able to get any sort of fulfillment of that verdict. Right. Like, you'd hate to see them losing that case. A lot of people are going to say, well, maybe it's a money grab. Maybe they just want to settle and this stuff was going on, so they just want to, you know, a payday, whatever the case is. But all those things are still out there in both cases. But typically when you see someone try a criminal case first, it's because they've got more damning evidence. They want that person to pay and for their freedom to be impacted. So I would say it doesn't matter if it's criminal or civil. In this case, it really comes down to, you know, what evidence is out there to prove one way or another. And then what the NFL was able to ascertain from all of that. And if they can, if they can build enough of a case to sit there and say, we feel like this is heinous and just as bad as Deshaun Watson, then, yeah, you'd have to say 11 games would be at least what we've seen so far. The interesting thing is that I thought the Deshaun Watson case would be a unicorn. Like we never see that again in the NFL. And now we're here, what, two years, two and a half years later, dealing with the heading into the 2025 season again. Be sure to catch live editions of.

Hey everyone, it's Katie Couric. Well, the election is in the home stretch and I'm exhausted. But turns out the end is near. Right in time for a new season of my podcast. Next question. This podcast is for people like me who need a little perspective and insight. I'm bringing in some foks friends of Katie's to help me out, like Ezra Klein, Van Jones, Jen Psaki, Asted Herndon. But we're also going to have some fun, even though these days fun and politics seems like an oxymoron. It's the herd, Fox Sports Radio, Levar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox filling in for Colin here. Hour two of this three hour extravaganza getaway day coming up in a couple of days as we get set for the super bowl in New Orleans.
Jonas Knox
Be there.
LeVar Arrington
You can hear us, by the way, Monday through Friday, 6 to 9am Eastern Time, 3:00 to 6:00am Pacific Time. So a little later start time for us today, but we will be back in our standard time slot coming up on Monday, live from New Orleans at Radio Row. And who the hell knows who's going to be walking the streets of New Orleans at that time at that hour.
Ryan Wilson
So Lee.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, that's.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, probably Lee. Probably our producer.
Ryan Wilson
Yes, this we do know.
LeVar Arrington
He really is homeless.
Ryan Wilson
He may not be with us. He may be walking the streets.
Jonas Knox
Lee may not make it back. A lot of wild stuff goes on on Bourbon street, man.
LeVar Arrington
I mean, you guys, God, I wish you guys could see him. He really, he's going to. How many, what are we 45 minutes sleep, you said?
Lee
Yeah, if that. Not that. Not quite that much. I had about a half hour. I don't know how much of that was actual sleep or not.
Jonas Knox
Can I just go back to the question? I think Lavar brought it up. You must want to prolong this relationship if you're choosing to rent it out only for a month.
Ryan Wilson
Talk to him.
Jonas Knox
And not just lowering the price and trying to sell it. Like just so you can cut ties.
Lee
Tell him, if I could sell it today, I would. But I'll take the. I'll take the month rent.
Ryan Wilson
You're lying.
Jonas Knox
You're lying, dude.
Ryan Wilson
You're lying, Lee. Lying to myself? Yes. Why do you. You. You know, habitual liars do not realize that they are lying, bro.
Jonas Knox
Like, you have, like, Stockholm syndro. I'm just saying there's something going on here.
LeVar Arrington
It's not that bad.
Jonas Knox
Is it not? Hey, Lee, why are you in a crop top today?
Ryan Wilson
Dang.
LeVar Arrington
Geez.
Lee
It's the new fan.
Ryan Wilson
Punky Brewster ass. Dang.
Jonas Knox
Lee, how's your computer doing?
Lee
I got a new charger, so. On my third computer now. On my third laptop.
Jonas Knox
Why is that, Lee?
Lee
Oh, the other one got a little wet.
LeVar Arrington
Lee didn't have a float.
Jonas Knox
How to get wet, Lee?
Ryan Wilson
How to get wet, Lee?
Lee
I don't know. Don't know.
Ryan Wilson
There was nobody in the body of water. You weren't in the body of water. That computer, that laptop went.
Brady Quinn
It was sticking for a Frisbee.
LeVar Arrington
By who, by the way? Lee doesn't use air tags. He uses lifeguards to get his belongings back.
Ryan Wilson
Hey, Lee. Lee, who thought that your laptop was a Frisbee?
LeVar Arrington
I don't know.
Lee
I just saw it fly out the window, that's all.
Ryan Wilson
What window? Whose window?
LeVar Arrington
Damn UFOs.
Ryan Wilson
You're from your window.
Lee
That is correct.
Ryan Wilson
Okay. All right, all right.
LeVar Arrington
So there you go.
Ryan Wilson
All right.
LeVar Arrington
All right. So from. From that. And we will get to the bottom of whatever the hell's going on there with Lee and why. Why? Lee found out an hour before the show he was homeless. Cam Newton, the. The former NFL quarterback is now making the rounds. He's not a huge fan of, you know, Jason Whitlock and some others these days. There's been a lot of back and forth from Cam in the media. If you're at a 7 on 7 tournament and you try and throw down with him, he'll just control you with one arm and slap your buddies around while never losing his hat.
Jonas Knox
He looked like Jean Claude Van Damme.
LeVar Arrington
Did he have Any marks on him, like, any rips in his clothes, Anything. The most amazing.
Ryan Wilson
Not even a wrinkle. Didn't even come off.
Jonas Knox
I will say it before. He is an Adonis. Like, he is one of the most physically imposing people you have ever seen. Like, you. You gotta see when. When defenders walk on the field pre game and they see how big Cam was. Like, I remember playing against him in 2012 and I was just like.
Ryan Wilson
I was like, bruh, y'all are the dude.
Jonas Knox
Someone's gotta try to tackle him.
Ryan Wilson
And are you the same size? What are you talking about?
Jonas Knox
No, no, that's. Buddy, I swear to God, when I stood there and you like, you look up like he. I don't know what he is. He's listed as if he's six, five.
Ryan Wilson
Six in your mind.
Jonas Knox
No, he is like six foot seven. He's closer to six, seven. That I swear. He is six, five. I just. And he can.
Ryan Wilson
He could heal. Well, he ain't just run. Yeah, he was just.
Jonas Knox
He was a bad dude.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, he's a lot now.
Ryan Wilson
He's good at media. I mean, he's. He's a lightning rod in media. I mean, people are paying attention to him.
LeVar Arrington
He's basically Brady Quinn is what you're saying, Lavar.
Ryan Wilson
The. The black version.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's a great point. Yeah.
Ryan Wilson
And a little bit more athletic. You know what I mean? I mean.
LeVar Arrington
Hey, Lee, can we run with that on Twitter?
Ryan Wilson
Brady.
LeVar Arrington
Brady Quinn is the white Cam Newton or Cam Newton is the black Brady Quinn. If we could just do that, I.
Ryan Wilson
Think that would be very good looking dude.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, keep going.
Ryan Wilson
Over six foot four.
LeVar Arrington
I'm with you. Yeah.
Jonas Knox
I mean, definitely not music.
LeVar Arrington
You could attest to this too, correct? Well, not only that, I just want to know who has the better ha. Collection. Cuz, Brady, I hear you get pretty close to some of these things we've seen Cam Newton wearing where he gets the hair out.
Ryan Wilson
Cam's hats are crazy.
Jonas Knox
Actually, Actually, if we're really going to call out someone for their hats on this show, it's.
Lee
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Hey, you showed up with a fire hat at a funeral.
Ryan Wilson
You know what I did? Wait, what I did. It was a black hat.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, wait, that's right.
Jonas Knox
I. I can't bring this up because it's a sad.
LeVar Arrington
No, no, no, listen. No, that. That is corre. And he had perfect vision. He was able to see like, you know, any. Any hammocks.
Ryan Wilson
That's right.
Jonas Knox
There was three takeaways from that funeral.
Ryan Wilson
There was a song that popped out at the. At the grave site. I. I didn't want to see it, but some things you just see, you.
Jonas Knox
Know, it was Lavar's hat. I was like, oh, that's a statement hat for a funeral. It was the. It was. It was your. Your in laws, your family. And that car that I. I believe it had hydraulics, man.
Ryan Wilson
Now it was like, half the block with.
LeVar Arrington
With Tyrone the chauffeur.
Ryan Wilson
He had Mondevo and. And Antoine Del Bailey in the back. And they're 6, 10. They both.
Jonas Knox
Dude, I've never seen someone pull up to a funeral.
LeVar Arrington
I was like, it looked like. Look like Cam Newton sitting on someone's shoulders.
Ryan Wilson
Hey, man, all I know is the Knox brothers, y'all boys, y'all got this thing for whips.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Ryan Wilson
I have no idea what it's all about, but y'all, y'all, y'all vehicles. I don't get it.
Jonas Knox
And the last thing was, is the. The attire was risque there, bro.
LeVar Arrington
Uncle Lavar approved.
Jonas Knox
Like, damn.
Ryan Wilson
Like, I'm sitting there saying my goodbyes, and while I'm looking to say my goodbyes, I see a red thong. I mean, dang, I didn't know. I. I couldn't look at the.
LeVar Arrington
The.
Ryan Wilson
The final flight.
LeVar Arrington
Who brought the slingshot?
Jonas Knox
I looked at Lavar like, did you just see that? He just gave me that, like, very sly nod of, like, yes, I did.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah. So just. If we could peel back the curtain just a bit. The curtain, not the thong. We just peel it back just a bit. Yeah, we all. I think it's the only time that this show has ever all gotten together outside. The show was at a funeral, not. Not to be named who was. Who was. Who was being lowered down, but somebody at the funeral who was a. A family member to go, no belt and red thong. When they bent over to say their goodbyes. And Lavar was the first one to spot it. Like a drone from outer space. Like a drone from outer space.
Ryan Wilson
You are stupid. I am not a Hawkeye like that. I was looking at the. We're looking at. I was like, wow, that's a beautiful casket. Whoa. What is that? Like, why is that there?
LeVar Arrington
Lavar?
Ryan Wilson
Just one of these things don't belong here, everybody.
LeVar Arrington
It's like a somber moment. People are laying flowers on. On the casket, hear Lavar in the background, go, thong. Jeez, Lavar.
Jonas Knox
You saw the red rose, and it. It matched the red th. That was what stood out.
Ryan Wilson
It was very rose reddish. And I don't know why I remember that, but I do. You know.
LeVar Arrington
So from that over to Cam Newton. Yeah, Cam Newton has some thoughts on the debate between MVP and Super Bowl. Obviously an MVP winner. Obviously not a Super bowl winner. Did appear in one, and this was his take on first take.
Ryan Wilson
Yesterday I asked you, Cam, if you could give back that league MVP for a Super bowl championship, would you do it? Nope.
Arturo Castro
Oh, really?
LeVar Arrington
Really.
Ryan Wilson
Wow. What's more important, impact or championships? If we're being honest, the impact of you holding yourself accountable to say everybody has a responsibility to do. And you could say as an MVP award winner or All American, you've held yourself or you've held your end of the bargain down. And that's what it really comes down to for me. I know that's not the popular pick I'm trying to be popularized, but my take is I'm taking individual success because I did my job.
LeVar Arrington
So there's Cam Newton discussing.
Ryan Wilson
I don't disagree with him. I mean, you guys could take it first. I don't disagree with like, all of it. So I would rather have a Super Bowl. I would rather have a chance. I would have. Rather have a national title. I'd rather have a Super Bowl. But he's. I mean, what, what is inaccurate about what he's saying? If you've held yourself personally to the highest standard standard that you can and you worked your. Now, if it came at the expense of others, if you getting the award that you got, Most Valuable player award, which. How would you be the most valuable player if you're costing your teammates, if you're costing the team games? So to me, I would. I can understand the reasoning of saying that I'd rather have the MVP title or whatever it may be, based off of what I've held myself accountable to, to what my level of play is going to be. I mean, I don't have a problem with that.
Jonas Knox
Let me just put it this way. I think when he answered the question, he answered it, but then he kind of pivoted to, like, a different conversation because. Because what you're talking about are like two kind of separate things to me. If you asked me. And granted, like, I. I guess the only thing I can say is, you know, I didn't win the Heisman, I won the Maxwell. Right. So that's a Player of the Year award board. Would I have traded that for a national championship? There is no doubt in my mind. And I think had I had a successful enough career to ever win MVP or even be a part of a team won a Super bowl, to me, there's no hesitation. You Take the championship, take the Super Bowl. And I think it's in part because, you know, for me, personally, because, look, it's all about perspective. It's all about how, like, he feels like he won the mvp now he's been to a Super bowl, he lost it. And so I would. I would think from his perspective, there's not too many other people that could kind of understand what he's saying and how he's saying it and why he wouldn't trade that. But I think for most players, most people, you would take the championship in part because it's not such an individual thing. You get to share that moment, that history. You know, it's one more than forever, right? You hear that phrase all the time because you're going to forever be remembered in history together as a part of that team that won a championship. And that, to me, is the ultimate thing about football. Like, what I love about football is even as much importance as the quarterback position has. And you might say, hey, it's the most important position in all of sports. That may be the case, but there's still a defense. There's still all these other variables and pieces and people around you that it takes in order for you to be able to win. It's the ultimate team sport, sport. Nothing else is even close in my mind. So because of that, I think the power of winning a championship and all the people that it impacts, your teammates, the coaches, everything else to make it come together, make it work, is that much more powerful than just winning that mvp. Because there's no one else that can share it with you. Like, yeah, you can have guys that say, man, they. You guys helped me win this player of the year. When you help me win this MVP award, that's great, great. But it's not impacting them the same. They're not going to a Super bowl with their family one day when they have kids and say, yes, son, I remember when we came here and we won. Like, that's where this ring comes from. They're not sharing in that. Like, those guys who are on camp's team that year don't have a ring that they're showing and saying, yeah, remember when Cam won that mvp? Like, here's my MVP ring from, like, you know what I'm saying? So I think that the difference is. And this is where I think there's a difference in how people talk about leadership. Leadership. Some people would just say it's doing the right thing, right? Saying doing the right thing. But there's an element of accountability. Too. It's being the type of person that's going to be able to bring people along with you in that success and hold them accountable for doing their job, too. Like, doing your job is just not enough. I know it's a phrase that people throw around a lot, but I think the best teams have players who force guys to come along with them. And in that, there's kind of shared success in those championships. But if you're doing your job to the best, your ability, and you're doing it so high that you win mvp, great. But ultimately, like, I don't think there's many players or many guys, let's just put it this way, who have won MVP that wouldn't trade that for a Super bowl or for another super bowl if they had won one. I'll just put it that way. That's a very unique take. And I think some people probably look back at that, at that play in the super bowl when there was the fumble and he kind of didn't really go for it. And they're like, well, yeah, kind of makes sense.
Ryan Wilson
I don't know. I don't get that deep with it in terms of him not going for the. The fumble. I mean, I didn't like that he didn't go for it, but that man did what I felt was you and like, humanly possible to. To win for that team, especially the things he accomplished that year. I just. I just look at it again, if I am going to be the best teammate, I've got to get myself up in the morning. That starts with me. I have to get myself out of the bed. I got to get myself to the facility that starts with me. I have to put in the work and the time to study the plays and know the playbook and know what I need to do that that starts and ends with me. The only way we can be great together and win win is if all the individuals on the team, knowing that they're individuals, bring the best them. You got to bring the best you. You got to be the best you that you can possibly be. And I. If you're going to be measured and judged in a way where they say, all right, you were the best of the best of being measured to the standard of what is the best that that comes to the table in terms of becoming an mvp be. I just. I. Again, I don't think that there should be an either or for one. I know it was an either or question. I don't think that you should have to. To give away the idea or the understanding that being the best you. That you can be and being recognized for that, I feel like that's ultimately going to lead to all those things you just explained. Like, for me, I don't. Like, we never won a national title in college. College. I'm super close with my teammates. We're super tight. I made it into the pro. I mean, into the college hall of Fame. And even when I went to the Pro Bowls and. And in the league, like. Like, we're all going, like, let's go linebackers. We're going. Whatever. Whatever it may be, we're going. I know for certain that it's my effort and my accountability to my teammates that's going to get me up every morning, that's going to have me running that wind sprint as hard as I possibly can. It's not to get the personal award. It's to be the best teammate that I can possibly be because I want us to win. If that leads to me becoming a Pro Bowler, if it leads to me being a defensive player of the year or anything like that, where I. I get an award that recognizes my effort, then I. I'm not one. Again, I'm not. I'm not going to sit here and say I want to. I would want the championship. But at the end of the day, if. If I got a personal award because of my effort, my effort, being. Being seen and being. Being, you know, know, recognized that way, I'm not going to have a problem with it either. So for him to say he'd rather have it, I don't have a problem. I don't have an issue with his. His mind or his. His reasoning behind wanting it.
LeVar Arrington
One of the examples he gave were quarterbacks, you know, like Nick Foles, quarterbacks like Trent Dilfer, you know, and there was another one, Brad Johnson was the other quarterback that he gave. Like, would I rather, you know, trade my career with them? They won Super Bowls but never won an mvp. And I'm curious, would he feel the same trading a career with Matt Stafford? Because Stafford never won an mvp, but he's got a Super bowl, or Drew Brees never won an mvp.
Ryan Wilson
Those are better quarterbacks than the ones he gave as example.
LeVar Arrington
But my point would be they don't have the mvp. So would you trade your career for theirs? Which is a bigger picture question. But I don't know how anybody. And Cam Newton's fantastic, but I don't know how you could look at the career of Cam Newton and a Drew Brees or Matt Stafford and say he had a Better run than. So in totality. I just. I think this. And furthermore, if they win that Super bowl in 2016 and they beat Denver, Cam Newton's probably a Hall of Famer, right? Like, I mean, he's got. He's got both with him. It's just kind of an interesting retrospective on it.
Jonas Knox
You know what I wonder? I wonder if his perspective, too, comes from, like, do you remember at Auburn, they won the national championship, he won the Heisman Trophy, and I think he played on that team. That. And you can go back and research this, but they didn't have many draft picks. They might have had, like, one or two, maybe three on that team. And it was one of those championships, one of those runs where you're like, this guy was so dominant that he was Superman. He was the entire team. And so, like, there's elements of, like, he's kind of been that right where he won that Player of the Year award, he won that national championship and displayed all of that. And so, again, maybe that impacts his perspective of when he got in the NFL. And I think. And the hard thing is, when you get in the NFL is, even as good as he was in that MVP season, it still wasn't enough to be able to win a championship. And I think if had he phrased it and said, like, here's the tough thing about answering that question, is where.
Ryan Wilson
You'Re going is correct.
Jonas Knox
If you're going, we had an amazing team. But the problem is, even at my best, I wasn't lucky enough to be in an organization or a part of a team that we had enough to be able to win it all. And that's the reality for, I think, a lot of guys. I mean, think about the Green Bay packers teams. There were. Rodgers has been the mvp, and they make a run, but they get, you know, they get stopped by the San Francisco 49ers. You know, there's. There's those years where it's like, despite the fact of, like, him playing at the high level, it's still not enough. And I think that's more of the perspective that I thought he was going to lean into when he answered it. That, yeah, I wouldn't trade it, because I feel like from my standpoint, like, I've been there as the best player and won a championship, and I realized at the next level that it's not enough to be even the best in the league. You still have to have peace and help around you. And so I think, again, that's why I go back to what I initially said it's the ultimate team sport and I think being able to share more in that. And var. You go back to Penn State all the time. I mean, you were the defensive player of the year like when you finished there, like you were that guy. But the difference is I would trade.
Ryan Wilson
It a hundred times out of a hundred times to have had it.
Jonas Knox
Exactly. Because. Because you know what they'd be saying head into 20, 25, like, hey, James Franklin, Penn State, they just got Jim Knowles, they got Christian Hour coming back, the running backs are back. The whole everyone besides the number one overall pick probably in Abdul Carter is coming back to try to go all in to win one. And it'd be the first time since lavar Arrington was here and won one. Like that's what they'd be sent every time you'd go back, they'd remind you of them that. And so that's. I don't know. Again, I would have answered it differently. But I also think the way he went about answering it didn't probably fully portray like the difficulty of to just winning games in the NFL and getting the playoffs and winning a Super bowl and. And I think it more talks about too, like what the Chiefs are attempting to do is ridiculous. I mean, really, what Patrick Mahomes and this team and Andy Riv done since he started and taken overs is ridiculous to that much sustained success where all you know, know is that minimum the AFC Championship game. If five of six. You said the Super Bowl.
Ryan Wilson
Yeah, yeah. For what it's worth, if the Carolina Panthers were on the trajectory that the Chiefs are on right now, Cam Newton would have been the catalyst of it. Like you guys said, whether. Whether we say Drew Brees or not, you know, in terms of MVP or whatever it may be, Drew Brees was the catalyst of how good that that Saints team was. And you're going to be recognized that way. Even if you won a Super bowl or you did it, if they're on that trajectory, Cam Newton would have been spoken of and in the same terms that we're speaking of Patrick Mahomes. So either with the MVP award or without it, he would have been spoken of in the same exact manner. In the same exact manner. So I mean, you got the award and you get to stand on the fact that you had the award. But at the end of the day, I would rather be able to stand there with knowing that I was a key part of it. I'm one of the key reasons why we won it all. I would rather.
LeVar Arrington
I would rather that Cam Newton's numbers at Auburn that year. Just looking at him again.
Ryan Wilson
Oh, staggering, bro.
LeVar Arrington
Like over 2,800 yards passing, 30 touchdowns, bro.
Ryan Wilson
He's a, he's a unicorn.
LeVar Arrington
Another almost 1500 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns. The guy had 51 touchdowns that year.
Ryan Wilson
Because he also the greatest season was a bru.
Jonas Knox
It was the greatest single season in college football history. History until Joe Burrow's season for lsu.
LeVar Arrington
That's unbelievable.
Jonas Knox
That's, that's the reality is he had the greatest single season ever in college football history. And people can challenge that all they want. When you think of who is playing around him, what they went through in the SEC to win it and how dominant he was, it was the greatest single season ever in college football history until Burrow, who I think unseated him. And mostly because of the path that they went on. But even his stats were ungodly. I'm just ridiculous. What he did in 2019.

LeVar Arrington
It's the Herd here on Fox Sports Radio. Levar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you. So coming up in a little over 15 minutes from now, we are going to tell you about how somebody's got a specific rooting interest in this super bowl that may be different from the past. We will get into that for you. It's a superstar involved in the game. That'll be yours here on fsr. We're also going to catch up here in just a couple of moments from now with Mike Renner, a Golden Domer, if I'm not mistaken. Ain't that right? Brady Quinn, big time golden domer there from CBS Sports.
Jonas Knox
That's right.
LeVar Arrington
NFL and draft analyst.
Jonas Knox
That's right.
LeVar Arrington
Who was there at the, the Reese's.
Jonas Knox
Great head of lettuce.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, yeah. I'm curious. They hand out like a free Reese's. Mike, thanks for joining us here. How many bags of Reese's Pieces did you go home with?
Brady Quinn
I didn't get any this year. I actually, they usually have them in the hotel and I didn't go to the team hotel where they're all staying, so none for me, thankfully. I'm trying to cut.
Jonas Knox
So you didn't, you didn't do your job, Mike? Is that what you're saying?
Brady Quinn
I had Ryan, Ryan Wilson and Rick Spielman over here at tbs. They were the Ones interviewing players. I was, I was going to sleep in there.
LeVar Arrington
All right, so let me ask you this before we get into this specifics. Player pawn, player position, group that you've been the most impressed with thus far.
Brady Quinn
That's a good question. I think the tight ends down there in Mobile, there's probably a handful of guys that I see going on day two of that class, maybe as much as four that were down there, which is, I mean, for a tight end class class down Senior bowl, that's a lot. So I mean there are other classes that are going to have first rounders. Like it was a pretty deep defensive line class as well. There's probably going to be a handful of guys go in the round one on that class. But tight ends, like, I think this is a year where you can find a lot of starters on day two of the draft.
Jonas Knox
Mike, I want to ask you about the quarterback class. There's been a lot of talk of maybe some teams looking at 2026 and especially coming off of that 20, 2024 class where you had so many guys go in the top, what, 12 or whatever it was. How would you rate this year's class and how would you order these guys?
Brady Quinn
Yeah, I mean, if you just compare it to last year, there's at least four guys that I would put above anyone in this class. It's probably you talk to other people. There may be as many as six. Like all six of the first rounders last year, they have higher grades on than anyone in this class. So from that perspective, it's weak. But then like you look at last year's class and all six kind of look good, right? Like there's no. None of the first rounders really crashed and burned out of the gate. So maybe that's not the worst thing in the world. So it's not super deep. To me. It's a three man class in my opinion. It's Cam Ward, it's Shadour Sanders, and it's Jackson Dart. I was talking to Rick Spielman yesterday, former gm, Minnesota Vikings. He said he thinks Jackson Dart's going to be a first rounder after his week in Mobile. Now, I'm not willing to go that far, but I do think he's the most intriguing option if I'm taking a swing somewhere on day two in this quarterback class. After those three, everyone else is like, I see just backup or intriguing project that you're going to have to wait three or four years for them to ever come along. So I think it's a real Thin class and lacking of top end talent. But it's not as bad as 2022. Right where Kenny Pickett, that class where there's only one first rounder. It's not completely bereft of talent, but it's definitely a down year at the position.
Jonas Knox
Does Dart remind you of Bo Nicks A little bit. That's kind of what I see watching. That's why I think he will go end up going in the first round a little.
Brady Quinn
I mean body type wise, arm wise, the way they throw. I think there's a lot of comparisons to be made there. I thought Bo was just a much quicker processor with Dart. I wasn't a huge fan coming into this year. You watch the Ole Miss offense and it is comical what Lane Kiffin's doing there from like a NFL projectable standpoint. It's not even like half field reads. It's like one man reads. They're just reading like a defense defender and he's making a decision off of that, which that's fine but you don't really know what that guy's going to look like in the NFL. So I thought that's why his Senior bowl is so big for him and him looking like the best quarterback down there. That's why you're getting, you know, Rick Spielman saying he wouldn't be surprised if he goes in the first round. But I thought his ball placement was much, much better this year and I think he's a little bit underrated of an athlete. You know, obviously he's white so that's always going to be an underrated trait for damn piece. He can actually move. So.
Ryan Wilson
Wow. Lavar, your thoughts that comment? Well, he's correct. He isn't lying. Mike, let let me ask you this. You just sat there and you said improved his draft status this week. I wonder and knowing that obviously the, the, the combines and personal workouts will come come in, you know, lighter weeks does this when, when, when you see them, you know, participate. How important is it because you know, guys are opting out of playing in the senior bowls based upon, you know, going deep into the playoffs. Do, do you lose any traction by not participating on Even Shador? He's not participating in the Senior Bowl. He's, he's there but he's not participating. Do you see this playing any type of role in maybe not helping or hurting their chances of improving their draft stock going into the draft?
Brady Quinn
I think it's very important for specific players. So for Dart specifically, obviously the question mark is that offense at Ole Miss. What does he look like in a pro style offense doing what he's going to be doing in the NFL. And so he goes down the Teeter bowl and all of a sudden that's what he's dropped into and has to operate in that. So then looking good in a completely different offense, that's big for his stock. Now with Shadora, you know, he's played four years of football. I don't think that's the question mark with him is how he's going to operate, you know, an NFL caliber offense with what he did at Colorado. So I don't think it's as important for him. But then you have other guys like Gray Zabel who's like a North Dakota State offensive lineman who's switching from tackle to guard or center in the NFL. This is huge for him because he's never played into your offensive line before. He's never played NFL caliber talent before. That guy made himself a ton of money this week with his performance on the football field. But other guys who are like already first rounders, already top 15 picks played in the SEC maybe you talk about some of these Ohio State guys that have played the top competition, it's meaningless for those guys. Them going to Senior bowl is really just to get exposure to coaches and GMs and interviews that they wouldn't otherwise get. So it's really case by case basis. But basically for guys who need something, need a box to tick that they haven't necessarily ticked on their collegiate film already.
LeVar Arrington
Mike Renner joining us here on the Herd here on Fox Sports Radio, CBS Sports NFL and draft analyst. He is at the Senior bowl there in Mobile. We've talked a lot about obviously, you know, the age of the players coming out of college with, you know, the red shirts and extra years and Covid years and all that stuff. They get older and older. Have you noticed in talking with people there any issues or concerns about the development of some of these players as far as transferring from school to school, being able to opt out and go from place to place. Has there been a disconnect from when they arrive in Alabama getting ready for the draft?
Brady Quinn
Yeah, I know the guys who are like starting their career at Georgia, then going to USC and then to Penn State, those guys have like a red flag. Those are the ones that scouts are like, oh, okay, we gotta do some homework on this guy. No one likes that guy. But I do think from a just a developmental standpoint, it's good that you get guys from lower levels of collegiate football. They get to now play in the SEC after two years, improving themselves. Like, you get a lot of guys who, you know, you're looking at guys in this class who, you know, started at like a Charlotte and then they transferred up and now they're playing at the best competition. So I think it's helpful for a lot of those. It's more helpful than not. But it definitely. It kind of exposes the red flag guys before they get to the NFL. The guys who are just bouncing in the wind, taking whoever's the highest bidder for three straight years, those are guys you don't necessarily want on your football team. So I think it actually is helping evaluations, guys staying longer, really getting to know who they are and getting to develop at the competition level that they should be developing at before they have to make that big leap to the NFL. So if anything, I do think for an NFL evaluator, these are, you know, you're actually getting better evals on these guys because of nil and transfer portal being a thing.
Jonas Knox
Mike, I'm not sure if you know this. We actually have Pete Prisco on for a weekly on our show. And for folks out there don't know, you get to work with Pete Prisco. So my first question to you is, how would you describe Pete Prisco?
Brady Quinn
Show, stout, portly, not.
Jonas Knox
Not physical. I'm not asking for your scouting impression of his build, personality, character, personality.
Brady Quinn
I'm going arm length first. I'm going body size. Just scouted me. But then after that, I mean, he's a. So a lot of people think he's angry, and he's definitely like a little angry, but he's more just like. Like he is unafraid to say his feelings. And okay, a lot of times his feelings trend negatively, but he's a guy who's not gonna back down from a challenge and more than happy to face it.
Ryan Wilson
So, yeah, that's okay.
Jonas Knox
So. So here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna ask you a question, and I want you to answer like, Pete Prisco, who has been the worst player, who had the worst week at the Senior bowl this week that you're like, my God, that was awful.
Brady Quinn
Oh, gosh. Okay. There is a quarterback from Canada named Taylor Elisma. Hadn't watched me going in, but like, I can't remember what school he was from exactly, but the guy just was not ready for the senable competition, unfortunately. So he had himself a pretty tough week trying to think the cornerback group down there too. I don't want to name Too many names.
Ryan Wilson
Her shallow had a, a rough time. Time.
Brady Quinn
Also, I didn't get to see Shiloh at the Senior Bowl. He actually wasn't on the field when I was there or at the tribal. Excuse me, when he was there. So I didn't get to see him there. But yeah, the wide receiver DB101s are not really set up for corners to look good. And this wasn't a great wide receiver class, so there weren't a lot of corners to write home about.
Jonas Knox
Unfortunately, at the Junior bowl, you named one Canadian guy. You can't name one other, like, mainstream guy that you're like, ah, he was projected high, but he didn't have a great week.
Brady Quinn
Okay. Dion Walker, the Kentucky defensive tackle who.
Jonas Knox
He's huge, right?
Brady Quinn
Six foot. He's the tallest defensive tackle, like, since they started recording that stuff in a database in 2006. Seven and a quarter. He's got a weird build. He couldn't even fill out his pants because I don't think they can't that long. But then also because, like, he has like these spindly legs, unfortunately for a guy that size. So he's really top, top heavy. Like this refrigerator on top of stool. Two stool pegs. Can't play low enough on the interior. So he had reps that are good on the edge, like going up against tackles. But I just struggle to see what he's going to do at the NFL level. Like, that's a guy that he can move so well. I'd consider. He's still 20 years old. I consider asking him if he wants to play off that. That's. That's a build that could play it off tackle that's just going to struggle to hold up against double teams in the NFL against like guards and centers.
LeVar Arrington
Mike, do you have a. Before we let you go, do you have like a sneaky one to look out for somebody that you think based upon what you've watched, could be maybe a second, third, fourth round pick that could be a potential star in the NFL. Somebody that's your favorite.
Brady Quinn
I love is David Walker from Central Arkansas. He's 6 foot, 267 and he's an edge rusher who if you try once, he goes to the bull rush. I didn't see a single person even come close to stopping him this week. I mean, you say 6 foot, 6 foot 2, 67, built like Brandon Grant. I mean, the guy, okay, over the earth, explosive off the line of scrimmage and just plays with a tenacity that, I mean, like I said, he Dumped Rush five times in the one on ones and like every single time the tackle was running backwards. He's just a guy that. That's no one you talk to. Any off tackle around the unfair. Those are the guys they do not want to block. The guys who literally, you cannot get leverage on them if you tried because they're built so low to the earth. So he's the guy that, you know, Central Arkansas, the tape was insane. But it's also low level competition, so seeing him do it against guys who will be in the NFL next year, yeah, I felt pretty good about that.
Jonas Knox
He blew up that organ tackle, right? Wasn't that one of the highlights that went around social media?
Brady Quinn
No, that was Mike Green, the Marshall.
Jonas Knox
Okay.
Ryan Wilson
Used to be.
Brady Quinn
He's going to be. He may be very well the highest drafted guy there. He has a great week in two days that he was there.
LeVar Arrington
Gosh, there it is. Mike Renner. Good stuff, man. Thanks so much for doing it. Also your breakdown and these specs on Pete Prisco. Uh, we can't wait to play that for him at the Super Bowl New Orleans next week. So that'll be. There he is, uh, Mike R. With us here.
Jonas Knox
What do you call portly?
LeVar Arrington
Stout.
Ryan Wilson
Stout.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, man. Yeah. I mean, he's in scout mode there.
