Jonas Knox
Oh, there. He's. He's doing it again, isn't he? He's doing it again.
LeVar Arrington
Full moon sighting in studio here. Yeah, who knew?
Dallas Goddard
It's black moon of black history month.
LeVar Arrington
Definitely. Lee, put your fist down.
Dallas Goddard
Throw yours up too, Lee.
LeVar Arrington
Put your fist down.
Dallas Goddard
Throw your black fist up, Lee.
LeVar Arrington
But we. We are rock and rolling here on a Wednesday. How we feeling, boys? How's everybody feel on this. On this fine Wednesday? So we could say.
Dallas Goddard
I just want to know if. If Q went into the steam room for. For 35, 40 minutes. That's all I want.
Jonas Knox
You didn't say 35. You said 40.
Dallas Goddard
40.
Jonas Knox
And no, I did not. I consulted with a physician and they said, whoever you. Whoever told you that needs to stop passing along these.
Dallas Goddard
That's the world you live in, Q. That's the world you live in. F. That. That physician you're talking to, Dr. LA, brother, I'm telling you.
Jonas Knox
Oh, God.
Dallas Goddard
40 minutes. All that good come up out of you. Everything. You're good to go. 40, 35, 40.
Jonas Knox
I feel like you're trying to kill me off the show at this point.
LeVar Arrington
No way.
Dallas Goddard
It is no way. Yeah, just some of us is just a builder, different. You know what I mean? Like, that physician sees soft people, everyday people, normal people like you. You're not normal, bro.
Brady Quinn
You're.
Dallas Goddard
You're. There's no. There's no deals between Mermidons and men, Lions and men. There's no deal. There's no packs. You. You know Troy. Achilles told us that in, in Troy. You know what I mean? You're different, bro. But if you want to be like everybody else, you be like everybody else, man. That's cool. Okay. You and your physician.
Jonas Knox
I'd like to be alive.
Dallas Goddard
God bless you, man. I've been doing that for like five, six years. 7.
Jonas Knox
I would love to witness this. I would love to sit there with a timer and actually see if you sit in there for 40 minutes.
Dallas Goddard
Anytime, anytime. All right. Anytime.
LeVar Arrington
How hot does it get?
Dallas Goddard
I did it this morning. I, I, When I go that long, I stay at 110. When I do 20, 20 to, to 30. 30, 20 to 30. I do like 120. I do 120 with a sweatsuit on and socks on. My hands and my feet, I'm feeling that that's important because you don't want to burn your toes or anything like that, you know, just telling you. And you feel really good, man. Like you feel like clear, clean, rejuvenated, like you feel good. I mean, my eyes be fire, fire red, but other than that, you know, you're, you're good. Nice and relaxed. Yeah, it's good. But anyways, that's just for, you know, people like me, you know, that's all. You know. I'll take that. I want you to be alive too. You know what I mean? I'm not trying to kill you off. This is not an assassin. This is not a self inflicted assassination attempt on you, I promise.
Jonas Knox
Thank you, sir.
Dallas Goddard
It's all good, man.
LeVar Arrington
It's not a coup.
Dallas Goddard
No, not at all. What are we cooing? I'm not taking over anything. Anyways. This is the Colin Cow herd show. This is the hurt.
LeVar Arrington
It would be, it would be sweet if we did find out this was all an attempt so that you can feel his, his big noon kickoff spot. This would be.
Dallas Goddard
I certainly would not get his big.
Jonas Knox
Talk about a Lavar leap.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Dallas Goddard
I don't fit the criteria to take Brady Quinn seed. Just saying.
LeVar Arrington
Why not?
Dallas Goddard
I certainly would not clear it up for Lavar Harrington. Just so we're clear, that's easily not.
LeVar Arrington
What it would be for what seems to be missing.
Dallas Goddard
Well, you tell them, Johnson.
LeVar Arrington
All right.
Dallas Goddard
So it is Black History month. So if there were time to do it, it'd be now, you know, I mean, try to leverage it.
LeVar Arrington
That's right.
Brady Quinn
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
And you got 31. No, there's only 28 days in it.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, that's not many. I'll give you the long month.
Jonas Knox
Yeah. Say, why didn't they Give you a long.
Dallas Goddard
They don't give you the long month, they give you the shortest month. You know what I mean? Let's get it in, let's get it out, let's get it done so I.
LeVar Arrington
Can greedy here, guys.
Dallas Goddard
Okay, let's not, let's not get carried away, you know, settle down. All right.
LeVar Arrington
All right. So.
Dallas Goddard
All righty then.
LeVar Arrington
Speaking of the NFL, not that we talked about the NFL there, but the NFL, there wasn't an announcement that was made. So you remember that game of Brazil last year? It opened up the season on a Friday night. You had the packers and the Eagles. It was the night after the opener between the Ravens and the Chiefs. And that game was presented in Brazil. Apparently we are going to be going back there and we already know who the team designated as the home team is going to be. That team to open up the first Friday of the season this year is none other than the Los Angeles Chargers. They will be in Brazil. So the Bolts are going to be in Brazil. Which begs the question. Well, a couple of questions. First, I guess last year went okay. I guess last year went well enough that they're returning. Second, who are they going to be playing? And we do have some options and some teams that are out there that would be potential options for the Chargers when they're opening up the season as the home team. You got your divisional games and then you've got your Texans, Colts commanders, Steelers, Vikings and Eagles. I'm assuming they're not going to send Philly back there. Obviously they just won the Super Bowl. They were just in Brazil.
Dallas Goddard
But that would make sense because they.
LeVar Arrington
Open up the year. That's the Thursday day tradition. The super bowl champ always opens up the the season the next year like the Chiefs did.
Dallas Goddard
You're clearly establishing the. The Chargers as the home team. So is that a market? Are you trying to to position them just like maybe the Jaguars are being positioned for Wimberley.
Jonas Knox
Can I ask this question, and excuse me if I missed this amongst in discussing who's playing who's at a home game for Chargers. Okay, so technically it'd be a CBS game, right, because they have the rights to that. Unless again, I'm wrong in assuming how these games get swapped. But usually NFC is cbs. AFC is no excuse the other way around. So it's afc, so it would be a CBS game. But NFC is Fox.
LeVar Arrington
It was Peacock last year, the opener.
Jonas Knox
It was.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, there you go. So maybe.
Jonas Knox
And the reason why this matters, you know, it just so happens that, you know, if you're A prominent, you know, figure, like the number one guy at a network. Maybe you would or wouldn't want to go back down to Brazil to call again.
Dallas Goddard
It's just, you know, I want to go. I 100 would go to Sao.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, I. I don't doubt that you would want to go. I'm just saying for some night. There's a touchy subject there.
Dallas Goddard
I. Yeah, I get it. Like, you know, jiu Jitsu and all that stuff, that's where. That's where it comes from. That's where it originates from. And when you know that Jiu jitsu, you know, you know how to manipulate your body and put people in chokeholds and locks and leg locks and submissions. Submission is a big one. Q. That is a big one. And that might be why that person doesn't want to go call the game.
LeVar Arrington
Good call.
Dallas Goddard
You know, why submit your champion, you know, ultimate champion. Yeah, there you go.
LeVar Arrington
Many times over.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. But I would say this. I would venture to say that there are plenty more models out there that would probably wear Victoria Secrets or. Or do a, you know, a Sports Illustrated shoot for the COVID And I'm just saying I would do it.
LeVar Arrington
At what point are we at getting to the. I guess the eventual spot of. Now we're kind of going overseas a little bit too much.
Dallas Goddard
Like they're trying to expand the borders. That's why I was leading off with what my thought is. What is the ultimate goal for the Bolts? You have two teams in a market where it's a super large media market. But let's be clear here. It's. It's not the greatest for. For the NFL. It's not the best media of the market for. For football team.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, you think the Bolts are going to Brazil? I mean, the Sao Paulo Bolts.
Dallas Goddard
I mean, is it the possibility that you could expand your borders to a very large market and extend your. Your growth of your fan base into South America?
LeVar Arrington
Lee, can you look up.
Dallas Goddard
Is that South America? Central America? Is that South America? South America?
LeVar Arrington
Can you look up Chargers in Portuguese? Like, what's the. Like, how do we say that? And I mean, by the way, since they're going to Brazil, they're real lucky that security guard's not working for the team anymore, because that.
Dallas Goddard
That would have been dicey. A whole lot of hand in his pocket.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, that would have been real, real.
Dallas Goddard
Dicey with their soccer.
LeVar Arrington
Carragadores.
Dallas Goddard
What?
LeVar Arrington
Carragadores.
Dallas Goddard
What?
LeVar Arrington
Carra Godotes. Carra Godotes. Carra Godotes. The Los Angeles Carragadores.
Brady Quinn
Get your hand out my pocket.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah. Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no.
LeVar Arrington
What's wrong with you guys, man?
Dallas Goddard
Oh, no.
LeVar Arrington
Can't you just be professional for once, just once in your bleeping career, be professional? We're trying to talk about the NFL going to Brazil and you guys are trying to steer us into the ditch.
Dallas Goddard
You've clearly hit a saturation point and fan base and fan growth in America. You maxed out when you went to Taylor Swift and started leaning on her to be more appealing to the female audience. Like you've met. You're. They are maxing out in the United States.
LeVar Arrington
What do you mean? There's still. There's a lot of people didn't watch.
Dallas Goddard
The super bowl and those people probably.
LeVar Arrington
Got to get those people.
Dallas Goddard
Those people probably aren't going to watch it. They're probably not going to watch it. And probably a lot of them are in California that aren't going to watch it. I just think that expanding the borders, that's always been something that, that has been a major point of emphasis, especially since Goodell has been the commissioner of the league. And you're talking about how they've, They've, you know, had to combat the concussions, you know, the concussions deal. They've, they've leaned very, very deep into flag football, turning it into more global sport. You know, globally, you know, embrace globally consumed. It's going to be a part of the Olympics that comes to, to the United States. I mean, there's just, if you look at how the position of it, the positioning of it is, you know, they're expanding their borders. NFL Euro didn't work. I don't know why it didn't work, but it didn't work. But nonetheless, there is still an audience that is abroad that the NFL is targeting and it must be based upon the, the information that they're collecting and the data that they're collecting and seeing who is participating. And I guess, I guess this part of Brazil, this part of South America checks off the box to, to continue to try to develop there. I mean, to me that's, that's how I make sense of it. I could be all the way wrong, but that's how I make sense of it.
Jonas Knox
I think you're always going to have a hard time in breaking into like what is the world sport, which is soccer, I mean, or football, they would say overseas. But, you know, the NFL can try all wants to have games there. Maybe they create fans out of people of the game, but soccer is always going to be near and dear to their heart. So that's just the truth. And so these games to me signify if you normalize more regular season games in other cities and destinations across the world, I think it creates more of an openness to. I don't know if it's going to be a team in one of those cities in the future or even just a Super bowl in a place other than, you know, one of the venues that we've got in the US like, that's what I feel like sometimes it opens up to is the opportunity to play a Super bowl in a foreign country. Like, we kind of all have tabbed. If there's going to be that country, it's probably going to be London. Like, England's probably going to host that first one because they've been there so much for the Jags and for the international games in general. But I feel like the more you normalize, you know, this, this ability to go play regular season games in foreign countries and figure out a way of doing that, the more you try to kind of bring more excitement to the sport. And, and this is actually like this, this thought dawned on me and it happened back in New Orleans and I don't know how you guys felt, but it just, it didn't feel like there was much of a buzz. And granted, we're there early, but we also were there to a point too where you could see a little bit of the crowds, people who would kind of come through at Radio Row. But it just, it feels like there's something off. And I'm not gonna say who said this, but the comment was made that, yeah, it's another Super Bowl. Same, you know, guys who've been done playing for 10, 20 plus years now. Just walking through selling something like that was basically like the comment that was made.
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, and that's true.
Jonas Knox
Like, but it's true. And it is kind of tiring. It's like, yeah, we've seen it again. All right, what are you pitching this year? You know, and there's nothing wrong with that. Like, those companies think it's. It's successful for them to make money. And obviously the player wants to get paid money or the pass player. I get all that. But there is something to. If you put one of these major games, like a Super bowl, in a different venue, different city, there would be more excitement around it, there'd be a new buzz around it. I can only share that a little bit just from going to an international game for the football game. When we went over for Notre Dame, Navy that was one of the coolest experiences ever. And it was cool because you got to share that with a bunch of people who are curious about football. You know, maybe they know about Notre Dame, maybe they don't. But regardless, I mean, one of the funniest things that still struck me from that experience was the. The cab driver was excited about the flyover because they never get flyovers for soccer matches or rugby matches. So that was. His whole thing was like, he's, oh, I can't wait for the flyover. And it did feel like maybe they don't do that very often over there because those. Those things could have potentially landed in the stadium. They're so low. But the general point is I just, I feel like it would bring a new sense of excitement outside of hosting a Super bowl in one of these newly constructed stadiums.
Dallas Goddard
But how in the. In the United States market.
Jonas Knox
What do you mean?
Dallas Goddard
Like here it will bring excitement here. Where is it bringing the excitement to?
Jonas Knox
It's bringing excitement. One to go to a destination. I mean, you're traveling to go see a game over there. I again, going to a London game, being a part of one of those for the international games. And this is, you know, dating back to what, 2000 and 2010, when we went over with the Broncos, played the 49ers, it was just cool to see the response to football and how people showed up at the stadiums with like all these different jerseys on. It wasn't like it was just like Broncos fans or 49ers fans. It was like a slew of people who are just fans of football. And so, you know, I think that experience to share it with other place is great. But I mean, think about this. These games have become so, so expensive to get into.
Dallas Goddard
That's what it's not like your average.
Jonas Knox
Joe Schmo is going to the super bowl anyway.
Dallas Goddard
So it's more of an experience, corporately speaking, or.
Jonas Knox
Or an experience in general, you know, saying, like, it's kind of like it's an experience in general. So, like, if you're planning to go in the super bowl, you're planning on going, but you know you're going to shell out a lot of money for. It's like, what does it. Does it make that big of a difference to you if it's in Brazil or lo somewhere else versus if it's in. Where is it, San Francisco next year or Santa Clara?
Dallas Goddard
I think it makes a difference only in the sense that there's a familiar.
Jonas Knox
More exciting to go somewhere else to it.
Dallas Goddard
I mean, I.
Jonas Knox
Then Santa Clara, no disrespect to going to Santa Clara. Much rather go. I'd much rather go to Sao Paulo to go see a Super Bowl.
LeVar Arrington
How dare you?
Dallas Goddard
Any day, period. Super Bowl.
LeVar Arrington
Really?
Dallas Goddard
Or not.
LeVar Arrington
I love the Bay Area.
Dallas Goddard
I mean, the Bay Area is cool. Technology there. It's a lot, A lot of things going. Incubating. Going on there. But I'd like to incubate in and you know, Sao Paulo.
LeVar Arrington
I guess.
Dallas Goddard
I guess that. Do they eat cornbread there? Eat something there because it's very good, whatever it is. But I'll just say this. I just. Again, I think the further you get away from it being an American sport, the United States sport, which. That's what football is. That's what American football is. I think you run the risk of going away from the culture and the pillars and foundational components that made the game what it is today.
Jonas Knox
But how do you expand the sport then?
Dallas Goddard
It is a dilemma and it is a challenge to try to figure out how do you grow and expand the sport.
Jonas Knox
But I see it more as an opportunity, you know, like that, that's. And that's why I feel like the NFL sees is when they did this in NFL Europe, which, I mean, I'm sure you played with guys who played over in NFL Europe, right? Because that was just what. Winding down when, when you were kind of segueing.
Dallas Goddard
It was what. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Winding down. Correct.
Jonas Knox
Which, I mean, look, I would, I'll go back to this. Like, I think that set the foundation been done. Right. But I think that's, that's. That set this foundation for a lot of the fandom that's there now for the game of football, because they were introduced to it at a young age. And then as it's grown, they've probably kept tabs and as it's, you know, continued to expand where they want to play more games, like actual regular season games there, there's more excitement around it. So again, you know, who knows if it'll ever happen? But if it did happen, I could, I could see a Super bowl being played in London. And I know it may upset some purists and some fans, but it's the same fans who want to complain about officiating rule changes. It's the same fans who want to complain about something else that they're frustrated by or upset by. You're still going to watch. If we learned anything from this past super bowl one in which you saw two teams that had played a couple of years back, one that's Played three years in a row now, a blowout, yet it still was the all time highest rated game.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, there's also something too, like out here in Southern California. I would be willing to bet that there are more Cowboys fans than Chargers or Rams fans.
Dallas Goddard
Smart of the Cowboys to come out here every year.
LeVar Arrington
And that's, that's part of it because they've made this a destination and they go to Oxnard, or as Brady calls it, Knoxnard. They go there and they put on their training camp. And the Cowboys, because of that, have a huge fan base out here. Same with the Raiders. So for the Chargers.
Dallas Goddard
But they did say that it fell off a little bit this year. They did say there wasn't very many people, not as many people coming in droves like they had in years past, but they were all in.
LeVar Arrington
Doesn't make any sense. They were all in this past year. That's why, you know, I find that hard to believe. But, you know, just, just throwing it out there again like we did last year. If they need us to go cover.
Dallas Goddard
I think we should go. We talked about it last year. I make sure I had my passport, man, I still haven't went and got it.
LeVar Arrington
Really?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, I was like, yeah, we didn't go. I'm not in a rush.
Jonas Knox
Wait, you never got your passport?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, I never went to get it. It like the, the rush period. I paid for the rush period and I had to drive all the way back over to where that court building was. And I, once I missed the flight, I just wasn't motivated to go take that drive again within like the next week or so.
LeVar Arrington
So, Lee, any advice for lavar on how to get this handled?
Dallas Goddard
Well, I just got to go to like a drugstore, right? Take the picture and send it in and then like CVS or something.
LeVar Arrington
See, I, I tried doing that and then they just, they want the money, so they just make you pay for the.
Dallas Goddard
Taking a picture in the office anyway.
LeVar Arrington
They're like, yeah, that, that picture doesn't work.
Dallas Goddard
So I'm not driving all the way back over, which I don't know how far away that is from where I currently live now, though, the la, you know, where the LA courthouse is or whatever that is. I don't know. I just didn't want to go back and do it. Like, there was a line, there were like three lines and they were literally you, you have to schedule your time, your appointment, which is dumb because then you go stand in a line full of like 60, 70, 80, 90, hundred people and there's like three lines of them. It's not. It's crazy.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, definitely make an appointment.
Dallas Goddard
But it doesn't matter. I'll show you.
LeVar Arrington
I'll show you some, some images on Instagram from places to go to in Brazil and you'll probably get motivated real.
Dallas Goddard
Quick with Bobby orchids go.
LeVar Arrington
I mean he would never come back, I'll tell you that.
Dallas Goddard
What, what about Deshawn?
LeVar Arrington
What about Rob? He better keep keep over massage and Justin Tucker out of there.
Dallas Goddard
That would. How about tuck me Tucker?
LeVar Arrington
Dang, I don't know.
Dallas Goddard
Touch me, tease me.
LeVar Arrington

Brady Quinn
35 pages isn't very much.
Petros Papadakis
Many of them conflicting.
LeVar Arrington
That's nonsense.
Petros Papadakis
There were 60 pages and try to get to the truth of what really happened.
LeVar Arrington
And they said we're finished.

This is over.

So where else you can find a show with that much athleticism and football insight? Based in Nashville, we're more than just your basic NFL show. We talk sports, but we talk pop culture and music and a little bit of everything because we got lots to say. I. I texted you and you texted me back. Now, I don't know if you have the update, but like, all the little thumbs up and heart and stuff, like, it's all colorful. They changed it and the heart's a little pink. It felt like I told you I loved you. I'm gonna be honest, it was a little pink.
Jonas Knox
There was something sentimental when you, when you send it.
Dallas Goddard
It was like, do I send the.
G
Heart Now I don't like the color edition.
Brady Quinn
It's extremely pink.
G
Listen to Lots to say with Bobby Bones and Matt Castle on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
LeVar Arrington
It's the herd on Fox Sports Radio. Levar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here.
Dallas Goddard
Hi.
LeVar Arrington
You can find us here on the iHeartRadio app and on hundreds of affiliates all across the country. And we are gonna be taking you all the way up until the end of this hour, 3:00pm Eastern Time, 12:00 Pacific. And we will be catching up here with our guy, the old P. Petros Papadakis. Coming up here in just a couple of moments from now, you hear Petros on in LA weekdays with Matt Muddy Smith, who's the voice of the LA Chargers on radio. And so I'm sure Petrus will have some thoughts. Maybe, maybe the old P will be sent out to Brazil for to cover the LA Chargers.
Dallas Goddard
That'd be fun.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, there could be, could be some conversation to be had there with Petra. So as soon as we've got Petros lined up and ready to go, we will, we will keep you posted here. You know, not imagining we're going to have any P. Prisco issues from yesterday, but it does look like confused looks there behind the scenes. Your thoughts on the confusion behind the scenes, Brady, what would you, what would you say about that?
Dallas Goddard
Bad News Bears.
Jonas Knox
It does seem like whenever Lee's involved, not to throw Lee under the bus, but for those of you that have listened to our show early in the morning there tends to be a lot of fuzzy things that are going on and stuff just doesn't work and, and Lee maybe forgot to call one of the guests to say, hey, we changed our hours. We're actually gonna be calling you a little later in the day. Is that okay? Sometimes those, those little details fall through the, through the crack.
Dallas Goddard
Running for Kiris. Here he comes here. Yep, there he is running from K.
LeVar Arrington
Captain Kiris save the day two days in a row. Yeah, it's, it's very, very, very troubling. All right, so without further ado, let's turn it over to the man himself, Petrus Papadekas, he of the Petros and Money show, which you can hear on the Blowtorch AM570LA Sports, a Fox college football analyst and get him on X at the old P P. Good morning slash afternoon depending on where you're listening in the country. But we appreciate you coming on with us here.
Brady Quinn
No problem. Hello. Hello. This is not my first time on this show.
Dallas Goddard
Nice.
Brady Quinn
But usually it's the fill ins that asked me to come on.
Jonas Knox
Oh, okay. So I see what you came in shooting.
Dallas Goddard
I see what shots, huh?
Brady Quinn
No, I've been on there with a blazing.
Dallas Goddard
Huh.
Brady Quinn
I, I've been on there with count. 405, but not, not in a while.
Jonas Knox
Okay.
Dallas Goddard
Dang. Bang bang.
Jonas Knox
What do you mean? How you doing? Is that a shot at you, Jonas?
Dallas Goddard
Yeah, of course it is.
Brady Quinn
No, no, not at all.
Dallas Goddard
It's not.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, I'm count 101, 23.
Brady Quinn
He's off the 101.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Petros, when is the last time you saw Jonas in person?
Brady Quinn
Not long. Maybe a couple months ago. Really? Yeah. He. He has an interesting look.
Dallas Goddard
Was he?
Jonas Knox
He also looks pale as hell, like he never goes out in the sun.
Brady Quinn
Well, I mean, the guy does a radio show at 2 in the morning in. In the west coast, and. And then he sometimes, you know, does one in the afternoon. What I'm saying is he's indoors a lot.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, I don't think the sun's gonna help at night.
Brady Quinn
He's like an editor.
Jonas Knox
He's, you know, guys probably go outside.
Brady Quinn
Guy that sits in an edit bay all day just grows old cold.
Dallas Goddard
He lives in a coffin at night.
LeVar Arrington
That is true.
Dallas Goddard
He doesn't need sun.
Jonas Knox
Hey, Petros.
Brady Quinn
All right, I'm here for you guys.
Jonas Knox
I know we've caught up since the super bowl, but I wanted to make sure you understood. There was many mornings when I looked out in that crowd and I thought, that's Kansas City's version of Petros.
Brady Quinn
Hey, yeah. Afternoon drive.
Jonas Knox
There's Philadelphia's version of Petros.
Brady Quinn
Yeah, it's tough.
Jonas Knox
That's St. Louis's version of Petros. I mean, you kind of kept going down the line. I completely understood your stance on that.
Brady Quinn
Where is the next Super Bowl? Santa Clara. Yeah, you'll be there. I mean, that is an amazing drop off. Right? I mean, I'm not for parties or people or really a good time at all. I'm very hateful, which is why probably haven't been on in a while. But that being said, New Orleans is a great town. And New Orleans is a fun resort. Kind of not resort, but convention. It kind of absorbs that kind of stuff very well. And the super bowl is great there because you're having a good time. But at the same time, you don't feel like the cheeseball idiot that you really are because you're partying at the Super Bowl. That does not exist in Santa Clara. In fact, almost nothing exists in Santa Clara. And you're nowhere close to anywhere you want to be. San Jose has nothing to offer you. San Francisco used to be the Baghdad by the bay. Now it's a big pile of poop and needles. But that being said, I mean, it's still a kind of a fun city to kick around in, but you're you know, you're at least 45 minutes from there in Santa Clara in a badly built stadium. I mean, that is kind of an amazing thing in today's day and age that we have all this technology, all these architects, all these people in the 21st century, and you can still just totally drop the ball. Building an NFL football stadium, even though you have billions of dollars and all that, you just build it the wrong way. Well, the sun is blaring down on you at 1:00 on the home team side, which was a big problem. Have you been in there? Yeah. Brady, we did a game in there once. Remember we did the Pac 12 championship.
Jonas Knox
Yeah. Can I make a case for you? I, I feel like, like you're an unbelievable host. And I'm not just saying this because you're on with us. Like, I've worked with you, I've witnessed it. You do do such a good job in those scenarios. You did the big 12 one to one year we were together and then you did the PAC 12 one. And both of them, I was like, I wanted to watch those. Like usually that's like, okay, like, let's pack up and go. I, I literally stayed just to watch, just to watch you on those. Like, that's how entertaining it was.
Brady Quinn
Yeah, they don't ask me to do them much anymore. They used to like me to do the old Dr. Pepper halftime thing because they couldn't trust Bruce Feldman with it, I guess. I mean, I love Bruce, but could you imagine him doing that?
Jonas Knox
That's not a steal.
Brady Quinn
Yeah, could you imagine he'd sit there and like take a text from Chip Kelly halfway through and no one would know who won. So that's why they would have me do it, I guess, is just to do the Dr. Pepper. But you're right, I enjoy those. I remember doing one of those. The one I did at the PAC12 when Washington, our friend Chris Peterson beat up pretty beat up Utah team. A very boring game, was like nine to six. And I remember doing that half, doing that post game with Larry Scott, who was at that point already universally despised. And anybody with half a brain saw. Well, he was taken down the the conference.
Jonas Knox
But besides the nice gift you used to get at the PAC12 dinners. Remember the media days?
Brady Quinn
Oh, come on. I still use my earbuds right now. But Larry Scott was like, okay, I'll take the microphone now. I said, no, you won't, you will not. And I almost had like to battle him with my fist and the mic where he tried to like kind of pry it out of my hand like. Like Pat Hayden and Steve Sarkeesian behind stage that one night, and. And it got a little ugly for a second. But the one thing you have to know is if you ever give your mic to anybody, I don't care if it's Rob Gronkowski who just won the super bowl or what, you can't give your mic to Larry Scott or the young man you're interviewing or the head coach, be it Chris Peterson or anybody. You've got to keep that mic. If they want to hold the mic, they've got to hold the mic outside of your hand. Your hand has to be the prophylactic, because if you give up that mic, you're never getting hired again. Now, of course, I never gave up the mic, and I'm still not getting hired again. So, yeah, there's some advice.
Dallas Goddard
Speaking of getting hired or getting fired or moving on, I wanna get higher. Yeah, go ahead, do it again. Do it again. I know that song, too.
Brady Quinn
I know. That's why I did it.
LeVar Arrington
Go ahead.
Dallas Goddard
Your guy, Matthew Stafford, is he to go or not to go? That is the question.
Brady Quinn
And.
Dallas Goddard
And do you like the. I guess we're hearing Garoppolo? Possibly. Or maybe, you know, I don't. What are you thinking in terms of quarterback for how long?
Brady Quinn
Well, what is that. That old Schefter said, you know, not that I pay much attention to anything, but Schefter said, maybe Aaron Rodgers. Yeah, Stafford goes away.
Dallas Goddard
What do you think about that?
Brady Quinn
Well, don't they have a bit of a connection through LaFleur and all those guys from the Commanders, from what I understand, McVeigh and all those people, they were all on that Shanahan staff through your old team, Lavar, and then. And then they've kind of scattered around the NFL, but most of those guys, I imagine, kind of like Andy Reid and Brett Favre and that old. That old contingent of coaches, Steve Mariucci, that we used to hear about, those guys all seem to really like Aaron Rodgers, you know, the same way all those guys that scattered around from the Green Bay staff under Mike Holmgren really like Brett Favre. So maybe that works in la. Aaron can be in a major media market, and it gives the Rams a chance to stick it to Kelly Stafford because they're tired of listening to her and her podcast. My radio partner brought that up yesterday on our show that maybe they say, oh, Kelly, you like that? You want to go on there and say this, say that. Well, here you go. You get to go to New York City where they suck. And here comes Aaron Rodgers to take your place. Woo.
Dallas Goddard
Dang.
Brady Quinn

Petros Papadakis
To Leave the Gun Take the Cannoli is based on my co host Mark's best selling book of the same title. And on this show we call upon his years of research to help unpack the story behind the Godfather's birth. From start to finish.
Dallas Goddard
This is really the first interview I've done in bed.
Petros Papadakis
We sift through innumerable accounts. 35 pages isn't very much, many of them conflicting.
LeVar Arrington
That's nonsense.
Brady Quinn
There were 60 pages.
Petros Papadakis
And try to get to the truth of what really happened and they said, we're finished.
LeVar Arrington
This is over. It's not going to work.
Jonas Knox
They're getting rid of those guys.
Brady Quinn
It's a disaster.
Petros Papadakis

Brady Quinn
They changed it.
G
And the hearts of love. Little pink. It felt like I told you I loved you. I'm gonna be honest, it was a little pink.
Jonas Knox
There was something sentimental when you.
Brady Quinn
When you send it.
Dallas Goddard
It was like, do I send the heart now?
G
I don't like the color edition.
Brady Quinn
It's extremely pink.
G
Listen to Lots to Say with Bobby Bones and Matt castle on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, we don't need your podcast.
Brady Quinn
Rogers needs that redemption, right? I mean, because Favre did the same thing. He left Green Bay. They went. He went to the Jets. He took a picture of his gray pube patch.
Dallas Goddard
Whoa.
Brady Quinn
Well, he didn't.
LeVar Arrington
I mean, he did.
Jonas Knox
What are you talking about? That wasn't him. I mean, those look like his Crocs, but that was definitely not him.
Brady Quinn
All right, you're right. I'm sorry. That's alleged.
Dallas Goddard
That was definitely Brett Far.
Brady Quinn
Well, you could just say it didn't end well. It ended in controversy. And because of that, you know, he needed a redemption story, which he really did get in Minnesota. I mean, he was balling his old ass off.
LeVar Arrington
He did have a nice watch in Minnesota.
Jonas Knox
That's true.
Brady Quinn
I'll show you a watch.
Dallas Goddard
Dang.
Brady Quinn
So anyway, maybe Aaron Rodgers gets that at Sofi. You know, that'd be pretty cool.
LeVar Arrington
Petros, just curious, your thoughts. Obviously, you mentioned your partner, Matt Money Smith, the voice of the Bolts. They're on their way to Brazil.
Brady Quinn
I saw that.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah. So, I mean, what's the plan?
Brady Quinn
As you guys know, I'm a bit of an agoraphobe and really, really don't like traveling. Getting worse as I get older. I have to go places and I do. But going to Brazil, where I've read a little bit about, but I know it's pretty wild and chaotic, is not on my list. Although I do enjoy the music, the Tropicalia, which is like. Like what they listen to inside Brazil, and the bossa nova, which they sent around the world with the great writer and composer Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luis Bonfa and many like that. So, yeah, I. I'm into.
Dallas Goddard
So well versed. When you have these, you know, moments like. Like what? When you have an agoraphobic moment, I.
Brady Quinn
Just get uncomfortable, you know?
Dallas Goddard
Okay. That's it. Like, you're. Well, you can handle it, though, I guess.
Brady Quinn
I mean, I don't know. I haven't been to Brazil. No one's trying to steal my kidneys. You know that Ryan Lochte got in a fight at a gas station? Remember the Swimmer?
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Brady Quinn
No, it looks like a lot of fun. What we like to do with Matt, because he does travel. You know, he works with the Chargers and he travels other than that, too. He does college basketball and stuff. I like to. There's a movie called the Five Obstructions, and it's like a. It's like a bet between two really, really famous international movie makers, Jurgen Leth and Lars Von Trier. And this guy, like, sets up these impossible movie making obstructions for this other movie maker and then makes a movie about him trying to clear the obstructions. So we do that with Matt. Like, when he went to Baltimore, I made him find Edgar Allan Poe's grave. I made him go and get a big can of Natty Bow. This, the national Bohemian beer that they made him eat. A crab cake. You know, it all has to be documented in Jacksonville. There's like some weird cartoon looking dinosaur. I made him get on an Uber and find that. And, you know, his obstructions in Houston that the Chargers, when they had their playoff game. I only do it for the playoffs. Didn't go so well. And maybe that's why the Chargers lost some alleged. So we'll see. Like, I could send them to Brazil and do obstructions, but he might not live through it.
Colin Cowherd
Huh.
LeVar Arrington
I mean, what was the plan in Houston that he didn't execute?
Brady Quinn
I wanted him to go to this really old bar in downtown, and instead, like, he was like, well, we were staying 20 minutes. I didn't. I didn't make it. He kind of blew it off in a way. And I'm not saying that's why the Chargers collapsed at all.
Dallas Goddard
Huh?
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, they didn't play well.
Brady Quinn
No, he did make it to one of the structures, like a weird fountain or something.
Dallas Goddard
Better situation. Is it a better situation to keep your guy? I'm sorry, Q. Is it a better situation to keep Stafford, or is it a better situation with one of the other options?
Brady Quinn
Well, I don't think they're going to get rid of him because his wife is annoying.
Dallas Goddard
Okay.
Brady Quinn
Although it's pretty annoying.
Dallas Goddard
That's good to know.
Brady Quinn
I mean, just think about the timeline. Remember last year? I mean, they have Puka Nakua, who's fixing to be the best rookie receiver we've seen in years. Yeah. And he's on there. He's in their camp. And remember, she came out on her podcast, was like, matt doesn't even relate with these young guys. They're always on their phone and he doesn't even know. Remember that?
Jonas Knox
Yeah, I do. I do.
Brady Quinn
Yeah.
LeVar Arrington
Now that you said it like that, I do.
Brady Quinn
Yeah. I mean, these guys have to be. Les need doesn't seem like he's not annoying, but he's got to be annoyed by this, you know? And, yeah, I mean, you've seen his frame and the glasses he wears and that stupid shirt on the parade. I mean, she's done a lot of things that are pretty questionable. And then, yeah, you know, I dated the backup to make him jealous. You know, it was that. And now there's like, if I have to be the dog, I will be. You know, we want to win a championship. Matthew wants to win. It's like, okay, but I don't think that's why they'd get rid of him. But if they're going to, if they're far apart on A deal. I don't think that would help that she's got wind in her jaws. And I think. No, I think the pragmatic thing to do is to bring in Matt Stafford again. And he's still playing on a high level, and he's got a great arm and he's competitive, and even though it seems like his wife beats the crap out of him, he's pretty tough.
LeVar Arrington
What is he, Cap Rooney?
Brady Quinn
Yeah. Dennis Quaid?
LeVar Arrington
Yes.
Brady Quinn
Lauren Holly, a forgotten 90s actress.
Jonas Knox
Petros, I want to go back and get your thoughts on the NBA All Star game as well as LeBron deciding to opt out of the All Star Game.
Brady Quinn
Well, I mean, can I go full conspiracy theory? I mean, I know I already mentioned Brett Favre's nether regions, but can I go full conspiracy theory?
LeVar Arrington
Sure.
Jonas Knox
Sure.
Brady Quinn
All right.
LeVar Arrington
Do we have any unsolved mysteries music we can play for Petros while we.
Brady Quinn
I mean, I'll take current affairs, the old Tony Bruno. I think Adam Silver did this. I don't believe that this idiot in Dallas and our guy with the tight bomber jacket in La Palenka and Nico Harrison figured this out themselves and didn't leak for months. And I don't believe an ounce of that story. I don't. I believe that a call was made probably late into the afternoon from Jeannie Buss or some proxy. Could be Linda Rambis, to the vampire Adam Silver's house. And in his coffin, six feet deep, he took the red phone call and said, blah. Hello. And because he's like a vampire, and Jeanie Buss said, look, look, we took LeBron. Now you got to get us out of this. His weird agency is up in our building. He's destroying everything, and none of our fans like us anymore. Many of our fans won't start watching the Lakers again until he's gone. We need something. Just like we needed something when Kareem came, just like we needed something when Pau Gasol came, Just like we needed something and all these other times. And Silver waved his vampiric fingers and made this happen.
Dallas Goddard
So he's one of Jonas's people.
Brady Quinn
That makes LeBron and his people, because they're not without power, upset. How do they count him? Well, they act all cool when Luca shows up and he plays the nice guy. That won't last.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, I see where you're going, Pete.
Brady Quinn
LeBron says, here's what I'm gonna do.
Dallas Goddard
I'm not gonna play.
Brady Quinn
I'm gonna wreck your All Star game. I'm gonna wait till an hour before tip, and then I'm gonna squat down and defecate on your entire weekend.
Dallas Goddard
It's a great theory.
LeVar Arrington
Good call.
Dallas Goddard
That's a very, very strong.
Brady Quinn
Thank you.
Jonas Knox
All right, can I pose this question?
Dallas Goddard
Theory.
LeVar Arrington
Once you put that in your pipe.
Jonas Knox
Robert Stack and Smoke, did anyone care that he wasn't a part of a game that really was entertaining?
Brady Quinn
Well, no, but he made it about himself again, which is.
Jonas Knox
Well, that's not surprising.
Dallas Goddard
I took a shot, got leave during it. He.
Brady Quinn
He could have at least.
Jonas Knox
He could have at least put on the All Star uniform, right?
Brady Quinn
At least we had the deflection where. Oh, he got Gottlieb good.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Brady Quinn
Nice deflection, LeBron. Thanks for ruining your sport, but just to deflect to a team in Minnesota, Wisconsin. All right, cool, T. But, yeah, he.
Dallas Goddard
Could have put the uniform on, at.
Jonas Knox
Least for the photo.
Dallas Goddard
He didn't want. He. Bruh. That. That's Petros. That's the best I've heard, because I have been made aware of the fact that they truly did not know. I thought they were in the know, but no.
Brady Quinn
And they're not.
Dallas Goddard
They were not in the know about what took place with this trade.
Brady Quinn
Well, what bothers me is you look at all these guys, the people that work for LeBron, the LeBron media contingency, and we all know who they are. One of them looks like a tortoise and not, you know, I look kind of like a walrus with.
Jonas Knox
Anyway, who would be the tortoise?
Brady Quinn
The one. The one with the horse wind.
Dallas Goddard
Dang.
Brady Quinn
Now, these guys all came out and said, right? And I barely try to pay attention to this stuff, but the hypocrisy is so glaring. These guys, for years, you know, every move that's been made with the Lakers, these guys for years, been like, well, you know, LeBron's got nothing to do with it. A lot of people want to say he does, but he's got nothing to do with it. And then this trade happens, and LeBron actually has nothing to do with it. And they all come out and say, well, this is the first time LeBron's had nothing to do with it. It's like, well, what about the last seven years of your lies, you freaking shill? I don't know how any of the. I mean, look, I am not without problems, and I am not without flaws, but the lack of integrity and honor. Not that the sports media. I mean, we're already. The toy department. How do you mess up the toy department? And how do you mess up a rock fight? I mean, we have really destroyed how to cover these people. And it's because they have proxies within the media that are planted. I mean, when LeBron came to LA, they brought a studio host and a beat writer with him and said, hey, hire this studio hosted. Hey, hire this beat writer. Do you think they ever write anything bad about LeBron? Not much. Thank you, Jonas.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, if, you know, you know Petros, you know, that's one of those I've been knowing. Yeah, it's. That's a hell of a theory, though.
Dallas Goddard
I like that.
Brady Quinn
It's not a theory. I was at yoga today and. And my friend Joseph, who I believe was on the Filipino national basketball team, all right. Was asking me, you know, what I thought about the Luca trade. And I told him about the. The phone, the bat phone, and the vampire house and some other guy who was tall, so he probably thought he had some kind of basketball legitimacy, which he probably does over me. He was like, oh, you guys are going with the conspiracy theories. I was like, you don't. Get out of here. Talk to me, Petro.
LeVar Arrington
So you guys are going to. Is it a. Namaste, bitch. Is it. Is it a. Is it a Flex alert tomorrow? The Dodgers are back.
Brady Quinn
So money show on la in la, you mean?
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, I mean, is this a.
Brady Quinn
We're only going to be on where the Dodgers are going to play from noon to whatever, and then we're going to come on and we're only going to be on an hour, and then we got to flip it like a Tommy Frazier or Eric Crouch pitch to the sidelines, to the. To the Clippers. Okay, who are in Milwaukee, who have Kyle Kuzma, who's recently engaged to that woman, the supermodel with vitiligo.
Dallas Goddard
Oh, yeah, yeah, I know.
Brady Quinn
You're talking about Winnie Harlow. Congratulations to the happy.
LeVar Arrington
Oh, congrats.
Dallas Goddard
Nice. That's beautiful.
Brady Quinn
And did you guys know that Cardi B's hooking up with Stefan Dick?
Dallas Goddard
I told Jonas that earlier.
Brady Quinn
See, I'm not just up on Swift.
Dallas Goddard
And Kelsey all the games.
Brady Quinn
My guy, my number.
Dallas Goddard
