Game catch action packed live events and exclusive sports documentaries and profiles only on Vice TV. All right guys, UFC 315 just wrapped and we have a new welterweight champion and Jack Della Madeleina. And as always, I bring you my post fight reaction video live from Octagon side presented by Total Wireless, the official wireless provider of the UFC. They are in your corner with unlimited 5G data that will not slow you down. Guys, we're in Montreal and Jack Della gets his opportunity to fight for the World championship. And boy, did he not disappoint. It was a virtuoso performance from the new champion. From the moment he stepped into the Octagon, you could tell that we were looking at miles. Let me have a napkin. We were looking at a completely different Jack Della Madeleina, wipe this off. Let me clear myself up for you guys. There we go, guys. This guy striking looked amazing tonight. His takedown defense looked amazing tonight. Jack Della Maddalena was as good as we've ever seen him in Yakagan. They say when you finally earn an opportunity to fight for the belt, you need to be more prepared than you've ever been. That is the case for Jack Della today. The kid had so much confidence. Both of the fighters seemed a bit weird to me. When the fight started, Jack was waiting by the Octagon door for Bilal. Bilal was dancing. I thought both of them showed a little bit of nervous energy as the fight was about to get on. But when the moment that the fight started, you could tell Jack Della Maddalena was in his zone. His jab looked phenomenal. He was switching between his stances effortlessly. He was defending takedowns at a crazy high rate. This is the same guy that we saw Basil Hafez take down multiple times. This is the same guy that Gilbert Burns took down seven times before he was able to finish him. And tonight against Bilal Muhammad, he gave up zero takedowns until the fourth round. I was talking about Bilal in the fight, saying he was fighting the wrong fight because he was standing and trading with De La Maddalena. But the reality is I don't think he had an option to do anything but stand and trade with Jack Della Maddalena, because he looked that good. His right hand landed so many times over the course of this fight, and if Bilal didn't have such a great chin, he would have been put out. I think what impressed me the most, though, outside of the takedown defense, was his willingness to fight. We saw this kid on the Dana White contender series in a battle, so we knew immediately that he was tough. We knew that he would not quit on himself. We knew that he had cardio, and we always knew he had tremendous striking. Tonight that striking was very evident. But the toughness was back on full display tonight because he took some damage. But boy, did he dole out some damage to Muhammad. Over the course of 25 minutes in round five, he landed a knee that cut the former champ real bad. He got taken down twice, got right back up to his feet, went right on the gas. His combination punching was second to none. He started digging and just throwing multiple punches. Balar really had no answers for him. As for the former champ, I don't know why he stood so much. If in round four and five he was able to successfully get takedowns. He said to his coaches, he's too slippery. Coach said, I don't give a go get me a takedown. He was able to do that in four or five. You would imagine with more effort he might have been able to do it in rounds one and two. But ultimately it's not about what Bilal did not do. It's all about what Jack Della Madalina actually did. He fought a wonderful fight and now he is the UFC Welterweight champion. And you would think that when you get a big win like that, there's a lot of time to celebrate. Unfortunately for Jack Della, right away he gets Islamicacha. The UFC said the other day at the press conference, Jack Della wins. Makhachev will go up and fight Jack Della Madeleina for the Welterweight Championship of the world. Number one pound bomb guy in the world. And Della Madeleina will fly up those pound for pound rankings. This is an undefeated guy in the UFC, a guy that has not lost in seven, 18 straight fights. Now, a guy that's carrying confidence of beating a guy like Bilal Mohammed. If there's a guy to fight before you fight Islam, it's a guy like Bilal who wrestles and uses it as his maneuver tool and be able to defend in the way that Jack Della did. And I'll get into that matchup a little bit more as we get close to that fight, but just know I'm very Excited about it as I'm pretty sure all of you guys are too. Valentina Shevchenko once again retained her championship. Manofior fought valiantly, but once again Valentina Shevchenko got the job done. She's the best. She's always been the best. She's been the best. For six years now. She's been the best and fought for the championship 12 times now. She's won double digit UFC title fights. She has shown time and time again that she can get through anything. She's as tough as anyone and nothing will deter her. That was a tough fight against a very big girl and she got the job done. It was a close fight. It was a competitive fight. I don't feel any worse about Manon Fior. I just respect even more the greatness of Valentina as Brad Slater. My agent is texting me because he told me this morning Bilal would lose and he loves being right. That's more than him making money or us making money together. He just loves being right. So, Slater, you were right, my my friend. But hats off to the champ, Valentina Shevchenko. She once again shows that she's as good as they come. Ain Zahabi and Jose Aldo fought one of the funnest fights I have ever seen in my entire life. Aon Zahabi was hurt so bad in round three, and the fact that he got up not only survived getting hurt by Jose Aldo, but completely battered and bruised him down the stretch to take the victory was super impressive. You know so many people, when you come into a game like Zahabi with a brother like Faraz, you get left and you get forgotten. No one's going to forget Ayman Zahabi anymore after what he did tonight against the great Jose Aldo, who retired in the Octagon. When I think of Aldo, I will think about one of the greatest fighters of all time. A guy that was so good at multiple weight classes and truly did move the sport forward. And when Jose Aldo got to the UFC and they made him the first featherweight champion of the world, it just felt right. There was ever a person that deserved to just get a belt. When he got here, it was Jose Aldo. And he went on to defend that championship so many times. But from the weight missed this week to the fight where he got so fatigued, he said he just does not have it in him anymore. All those retired before, but this one felt different. It felt like that was the last time we would hear run this town and see the great Jose Aldo walk to the Octagon. Natalia Silva's good, really, really good. And Valentin Shevchenko won tonight. But looking at her next challenger, it may be more difficult than what she even fought tonight against Manolfior because Silva never stops moving. She's constantly in motion. She's so fast, so athletic and so gifted that she's a very difficult matchup for anyone. And Porschevchenko, a champion who has seen so many people and fought so many high level fights to go into the reserve and have to do it again against a challenge like that is going to be extremely difficult. But congrats Natalia Silva on a fantastic performance over a former champion in Alexa Grasso. Benoissan Denis did exactly what he was supposed to. I told him in round one when he got the first takedown, anything less than dominance would not suffice in this situation. He said it himself in the fighter meeting. I've got to dominate, I've got to look good. And he did that with that beautiful arm triangle finish. Mike Milan taking on rad Key dude, these guys had so much beef to knock him out in the way that he did. Mike Milot showed and defended his country in the way that you would expect him to. Jasmine Jaz de Viziest. Earlier in the night before Natalia Silva fight, I thought she was going to be the one that may get a title fight next, but after Natalia Silva's fight, I figure she will be the next one. Bukowskis vs Kute LA was one of the worst decisions I've seen in a really long time. I don't even know how they got to 30. 27. Mark Ratner goes. You can't get 3027. There's no way to get there for Bukowskas. Dom said something about judges having to put their face on their cards. I think they should do that. You cannot be incognito and make a decision like those guys did tonight. Beautiful finish by Daniel Santos. No, no decision by Daniel Santos. A big win. Hey, Al Makon with that beautiful uppercut in the beginning of the night was crazy. Beautiful finish, Beautiful uppercut over Brad Katona. So we're adding a new segment to the post fight reaction videos and it's my total wireless fighting spirit award where I will give someone from the fight card my total wireless performance of the night essentially. And honestly, for as many great performances as we had, I had Barrio with that crazy knockout of Bruno Silva. That dude was out for six minutes after the fight. I had Mike Milott, but ultimately it's about the new champion, Jack Della Maddalena. So my first Total Wireless Fighting Spirit Award goes to Jack Della. He showed so much heart, so much spirit in winning that championship that there really is no question, there is no one that stood above the new champion on UFC 315. His grit, his determination, his striking, that full display of what mixed martial arts is supposed to be allowed for Australia to have. Another great champion, Jack Della. Madeleina was very emotional when I told him, now he gets to stand amongst the Australian greats. He spoke about that before. Warning to be thought of like Voltage, be thought of like Robert Whitaker. Well, now, kid, you are right in line with those guys and you deserve it. And for that, you are my first Total Wireless Fighting Spirit Award winner. Hey, some big news came out of this fight. We know multiple title fights after the two fights were determined tonight. It was an amazing night in Canada. It was a great week in Canada, and I enjoyed every single second of it. Guys, I love you for supporting me the way that you do. You have never let me down, and I promise to always give you as much detail and as much access as I can in my journey to the ufc. So thank you and I appreciate you guys. This post fight reaction video was brought to you by Total Wireless, the official wireless provider of UFC. They give you unlimited 5G data that will not slow you down. So until next time, guys, don't slow down those numbers. Run them all the way up. Like, subscribe, tell your friends to tell their friends that DC's got a YouTube channel and I'm giving you undeniable access to all things ufc. I appreciate you. See you back in the States. Peace.
