This is Doug Gottlieb from All Ball with Doug Gottlieb. Listen, I'm gonna get serious for a minute. The hate in our country is getting out of control. In fact, it's sadly at an all time high. But it's gonna take all of us to stop it. I mean, we're all on the same team in this country. So let's take a break from our hate so our team can regroup. We need to take a timeout against hate. Visit stand uptoallhate.org to help and join me in calling for timeout against hate by following at what's up with Hate or posting the blue square emoji Where'd.

Now this is the time where I can become somebody who creates generational wealth Or I just sort of end up being in the hamster wheel that we've been in for generations at this point. Like a good neighbor. State Farm is there. State Farm. Proud sponsor of my Cultura podcast network, the Volume. All right, guys, it's the winter time. You know, like it's kind of cold outside. But that don't stop the boy DC from getting out and about and enjoying all kinds of live events. And when I do enjoy live events, I use the gametime app to save money. All new customers push that code in there, DCTV to save $20 off of your first purchase. So it doesn't matter what you're doing. You could be going to a concert, comedy show, ufc, NFL postseason is about to start. Baseball season, basketball. The game time map has got you covered. I like to go on a date and then maybe go catch a comedy show after with a meal while saving money. Our friends at gametime got you covered. So again, sign up using my promo code, DCTV, for any of your entertainment at the GameTime app and save $20 off of that first purchase. Come on, man. Grab your lady or grab your man. Take him out on a date. Take him out on night on the town and use the gametime app to do it. Let's go. Okay, guys, so earlier in the week, we released a video with all of my best moments for my check ins. But how about the biggest DC moments? Me from calling out Ben Askren with some of the insane takes that he has to putting out bets, wrestling people, teaching technique, teaching people to speak English. We just had a hell of a year this year at DCTV. So let's take a look back at the boy DC's biggest moments. My most out of pocket moments. Because there are times where I look back myself and I go, what in the world was I thinking? But let's see. Oh, my goodness. It does not look good. Francis hurt bad. Yeah, Francis heard bad. Joshua's gonna put it up. Oh. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You're not the little kid that I used to know sitting outside. No, sir. Oh, my God. Look at Mike. My guy. Look at my guy. You know, the shoes, everything. My mic, my mic just keep falling on him. You got to get you the fanny pack. I get nervous around you. I get that championship energy, you know, like last time it was fight week and we were talking like this. It was cool, you know, like it was cool, but like, I was beating you in Madden. I wasn't really, like, trying to, like, I wasn't really like, trying to, like, help your confidence. I. You know, you're supposed to really help a dude when they're on the verge of a championship and I beat the out of you. I mean, I'm gonna help. I can help you remember what happened. What? Actually, I got the footage, bro. You got the foot. I got the footage. I have the footage. I have the footage. Just know that with my YouTube channel, I'm. My video coming out first. And now you know what I'm gonna do. You know how I do you know how I do. Your story.
Doug Gottlieb
You always want.
Daniel Cormier
Yo, so. So what I. What? I was kind of like before we get started. So how the injury, right? Everything. It's public knowledge now. Yeah. All right, guys. They won't have to do this. So Jamal got hurt with playing basketball. People don't know is I did it. I crossed him. I did. I crossed him. Come on, man. I'm gonna just tell y'all the truth. How did they. So what happened is. Hey, yo, I didn't want to just look at the motion. I would tell you. At first, I was scared. I was scared for you to find out what happened. What happened was I did it. I hit him with the. Y'all remember when AI hit Michael Jordan? It was flipped. It was the young dude. Stop comparing yourself to Mike, bro. It was the young dude. Stop this. It was the young dude with AI doing it to the older guy. But with us, it was the older guy did it to the young guy. I crawled Jamal, he fell. And all of a sudden, I saw him picking up. If he did that, he would be. He would have been the injured one. He would have been the injured.
Doug Gottlieb
I was giving y'all work.
Daniel Cormier
Y'all got lucky. I had about, what, 20 points in like, five minutes on y'all? He kind of played well. Yeah. You know why, though, right? Because Phil is a ball hog. Phil is the biggest ball hog ever in a basketball game. Phil's a ball hog. But he still had all y'all points off of free throws. How are we playing a pickup game? And he got all his points off free throws. Come on, man. Who paid the rest? You paid the rest. Come on, man. Come on, man. You can tell me. It was a long time ago, okay? I might have paid the ref. I know you paid the reference. He was on some bullshit. He was a cheater. That dude was a cheater. I sniffed him out immediately. I was like, oh, this guy right here will cheat for me. Let me give him 20 bucks. I did. I did everything I could. I told Josh I was like, bro, don't let D.C. get along with the rest. Bro, don't let him do anything. It's never. It's never. It's never. It's never. It's never. Every opportunity, every opportunity, they always try to watch me because they know I got every opportunity. Anyhow, Jamal Hill. Thanks for checking in with me, my brother. I appreciate it. First off, I have no problem with Nate Diaz. I have no issue with him. I don't. I don't really know Nate. I've always respected Nate for what he did inside the Octagon. So and so. I'm a lot of things, guys, but one thing I'm not is nobody. Bitch. I'm not a bitch. So my question is this. When did it become okay for men to start calling each other out their name like that? When did that become okay? You know, I don't disrespect nobody in my. In my assessments of them. I try my best to be as fair as I can. I don't quite understand, as I got a slide to the right, why people think it's okay to attack you, attack you in that way, especially calling you outside your name like that. That's not cool, man. You don't get to just talk to people any way you want. But also just being in a disrespectful manner, it's not cool. It seems reckless that so many can be so disrespectful in the approach. I don't get that. I really don't get that. But I'm nobody's bitch. And to say I'm not a fighter is just. I don't get it, man. I don't get it. Because again, I feel like I was actually pretty fair to this dude. Because when you really think about it, to say I'm not a fighter. When you really think about it, Nate Diaz was fun. Nate Diaz got to a championship opportunity, unity. But if I'm not a fighter, what that make him? What does that make him? If I did what I did and he did what he did, would that make him? You know, one time I was talking to Habib, and it was when Nate was coming at Habib, and Nate said Habib said something to the effect of, this man has lost 12 or 13 fights in his career. He's like, daniel, I can't respond to this guy. I can't take this guy serious. Because who loses to that many people? How can you call me not a fighter when you have had those instances? What did I do? I fought the best. I fought the best in the world constantly. So to say I'm not a fighter because I'm making. Because I have an opinion on whether or not I want to see him headline the sphere. The sphere is going to be one of the greatest pay per view experiences that we've had in the ufc. Nate Diaz on Mexican Independence Day would fit the card beautifully. Main event would have to be against the Conor McGregor. Maybe. Hey, maybe George Masvidal. I don't want to fight Nate Diaz, but George Masvidal does. Why is he attacking me when George Masvidal at his gym, he in Stockton. That's where the energy should be directed. That dude wants to fight you, not me. I'm over here making YouTube videos about what I think will be a great card while still actually saying, I would appreciate seeing you on the card. When in reality, when you look at what you've done recently, I don't know if many people that may not possess your star power even get an opportunity to be on that card. I don't even know if they get a chance. But because of your star quality, because of your popularity, if you were back in the ufc, you would get that opportunity. But I'm saying I will check and then tap into it. I don't see how that, that, that, that is disrespectful. But the reality is, the one thing we will not do is compare myself to Nate Diaz because it's different levels, much different. I'm a champion. Two weight classes. I lost three times in my career. Four if you count the fight that was called a no contest. Four times. The two guys, we are on much different wavelengths. We are on much different planets. We're not in the same stratosphere in terms of fighters. We're not. And it's time for me to stop allowing people to attack or come at me in these ways when I'm doing my job. But, but can I still get into the stuff that I was doing back in the day? No. I can't be fighting in clubs. I don't go to clubs. I can't be approaching people. I don't do that. But I'm not a bitch. I'm not going to disrespect nobody. And I'm not going to sit up here and just get disrespected by these dudes, because that's not right. It's not right. And not even just to me, to a man. You don't call a man out his name. You don't do that. At least not where I'm from. I Don't get it. I don't get it. Like I said in the beginning, I don't have a problem with Nate Diaz. I don't. He clearly has a problem with me. Gilroy is an hour and a half away from Stockton. I live here. I'm not trying to fight. I'm not going to be up there fighting with this man in the streets. But we can always just have a conversation if you have a problem with something I said. But to call me out my name like that and to say the boy ain't did what the boy did. I mean, Luis gonna pull up a whole bunch of videos and run a highlight reel of what I did in my career. And in those pictures, gonna be a lot of belts and a lot of championships. I fought the best. I very rarely had opportunities to fight guys that weren't on my level. I can only imagine what my record would be if I did. If I wasn't fighting Bigfoot Silva in my eighth fight or Josh Barnett in my ninth fight. Think about that. Nine fights into my career, less than three years after starting, I'm fighting Josh Barnett. So to wrap it up, Nate, here's the deal. I ain't got a problem with you. When I see. Hey, I'm gonna tip my hat off to you. If you want to say something to me, come up to me. Tell me. Tell me what the issue is. We can discuss it like men. What's up, guys? Welcome to a brand new episode of Funky and the Champ. I'm Daniel Cormier. That is my man, Funky Ben Askren. Ben, I. Dude, when you sat down, the size of your shoulders, I mean. I mean, you look fantastic. I see you at the tournaments. I saw you sitting on the wrestling mat the other day. I was like, ben looks better than he did whenever we were in the Olympic Games.
Doug Gottlieb
Well, and I mean, I don't know about all that.
Daniel Cormier
No, I'm serious. I'm telling you about the guy that scene and saw you.
Doug Gottlieb
Yeah, well, I'm trying to stay lean, but I. I stopped eating dessert 18 months ago. That was really helpful. It really was. I love dessert. I really thought I was gonna miss it. And I don't really miss it at all.
Daniel Cormier
What do you mean? Like, what were you eating for your desserts?
Doug Gottlieb
Every. Every day? Ice cream, whatever. I don't eat. I would eat dessert every day. Daniel something.
Daniel Cormier
You don't need them anymore?
Doug Gottlieb
No, I just thought one day I just stopped.
Daniel Cormier
That's kind of. Is that weird? Like how this. How strong your mind is whenever you think you like really enjoy something and you just, yeah, go, I don't want to do it anymore. Then you can kind of stop it.
Doug Gottlieb
I kind of got that obsessive personality type. Well, and I'll, I'll tell you for me. So the first time I retired, I, I meant it, I really didn't mean it. And the second time I retired I had my hip surgery. So I literally had no choice. Like I couldn't do anything, but it was like, dude, I've been making weight for, you know, so 2017, I probably making weight seriously for like 20 years. Like 20 years of making weight on almost, you know, year round basis. I'm not going to look at a scale. I didn't look at a scale for 10 months. I didn't look at it. I didn't care. So finally, and, and this is before I got traded dfc, but I'm like, okay, I gotta do something so I'm not super fat the rest of my life. So I got on a scale and I was like 210 and I'm like, I'm gonna wrestle at Midlands. So I had to make weight. Right. This is the only way us as wrestlers know how. So I'm so I gotta make weight. And then the second time I retired, I did the same thing. I just ate whatever I wanted because I didn't want to worry about it. And then at some point it was like, okay, all right, now I'm really, really, really done. Like there's no way I'm doing anything else. So then it's like, well, I got to make a choice here. Either I'm going to be able to like keep wrestling with my athletes or I'm not, you know. So I decided to get serious about it.
Daniel Cormier
Well, it's working, my guy. You look fantastic, you know.
Doug Gottlieb
Yeah, I saw Islam hustling you online actually. So you, you maybe you could do the same. Do you could quit dessert too?
Daniel Cormier
No.
Doug Gottlieb
Yeah, you do it now.
Daniel Cormier
I've literally, I've literally done way too much. Like I started like actually like really cutting weight. I made the world team in Cadets. And then after that it was always like making world teams. It's like, then you were cutting like super big weight.
Doug Gottlieb
Yeah.
Daniel Cormier
And I'm like, ah, don't really want to do that anymore. I'm good. I'll maybe just eat a little better and go work out, but. Nah.
Doug Gottlieb
All right.
Daniel Cormier
I'm not gonna be uncomfortable anymore like that. That's just. All those days are over. I just wanted to tell you though, man, honestly like the reason I don't want you to retire is because it's selfish. I'm a fan, man. We. It'd be hard for us as fans of the ufc, to not have you walk into the Octagon a couple times a year, but we appreciate you and your work. And, dog, I'm a fan, man. I know when I met you, way back in the day, walking into that little Jimmy I had when I beat you up, man, you know you didn't beat me. That's some. I think I took you down today. You took me down, Dustin Poirier. That was before you moved to Dagestan, though. You were Dustin. So all my Olympics and didn't matter the way. You taking me down?
Lavar Arrington
Nope.
Daniel Cormier
But you just said Mateus takes you down. I'm pinning Mateus Gamrock. I'm talking about the offense, not the defense. I'm pinning Mateus Gamrock. I'm pinning Mateo's dog. I don't know, man.
Doug Gottlieb
I don't know.
Daniel Cormier
And he look like he in shape always. That's my problem.
Doug Gottlieb
Oh.
Daniel Cormier

Doug Gottlieb

Daniel Cormier

Lavar Arrington
Hey, this is Levar Arrington here from up on Game and listen, I want to talk to you about something very serious for a minute, all right? Something personal to me and right now something that should be personal to you as well. In our country, the hate is at an all time high and it's like we're going backward. The hate is winning. We can't allow that, all right? It's out of control. So many different people, so many different groups are facing too much hate. And it's enough. It's time for it to stop. We need to stop, regroup, change the momentum as a team, because that's what we are. Everyone in this country is on the same team. So let's act like it. And when a team can't get it together, what do you do? You call a timeout. And that's what we need to do. Call a timeout against hate. Let's think about what we say and do. And when we see hate, when we see someone doing or saying those things we know are wrong and hateful, we need to call it out. Imma call it out. You need to do the same thing. Visit Stand up to all hate.org to help and join me in calling for a timeout against hate by following at what's up with Hate or posting the blue square emoji.

Bring your records and set them on this table right now. All you out there that are spend two hours talking about the games and will in the last seven years and night games, they've come in and haven't scored 20 points and you get too detailed. Bring your records right here to fade this. We'll, we'll talk about books and cooking and, and Kevin Costner and still make more money betting on sports than you will. And this episode was brought to you in partnership with DraftKings. To hear more, listen and subscribe to Fade this on iheartradio or wherever you listen to podcasts.
Doug Gottlieb
Yeah, I don't know, it was just like, it was just something hilarious that he grabbed that he stole and he wore it. No, I don't know. Like I was laughing. Tell me you weren't Laughing at that. I was.
Daniel Cormier
But I was like, yeah, well, it was because it was, it, because it was the Jack. It was the red jacket. It was a, it was a ridiculous.
Doug Gottlieb
It was a ridiculous jacket.
Daniel Cormier
You thought that Michael Jackson looking jacket was ridiculous?
Doug Gottlieb
I thought, yes, I thought that.
Daniel Cormier
I thought it was one of the most stylish things I've seen a person wear with no shirt. O'Malley was wearing that with no shirt.
Doug Gottlieb
California too long, bro. Huh? California too long. Don't forget your roots. You're from the Louisiana and then Oklahoma. That don't fly around here in the Midwest.
Daniel Cormier
Wait, the Michael Jackson jacket don't fly in the Midwest? Could you imagine Sugar show showing up in there with a jacket like that with no tattoos and no shirt? Could you imagine he walks in Wisconsin like that. Could you imagine?
Doug Gottlieb
Well, it's, it's good for him that he can fight as well as he can, because if he couldn't, he'd be getting bullied all the time. I just told my, hey, I had, I had a great father son talk this morning. And because, you know, my son's six now and he got, he got his. Some kids were harassing him yesterday and he tackled one of them in the, like in the picture line for school for the year.
Daniel Cormier
So what happened?
Doug Gottlieb
And my wife, yeah, I talked to him. Nah, he didn't really get in trouble. So, but so I said, you know.
Daniel Cormier
That doesn't happen here, right? In the Midwest. The teacher will go, okay, your kid doesn't look, my son did One Superman Punch. 1. My son does one Superman punch, bro. He wants to be Roman Reigns. The kid was bullying him. He does one Superman punch and I get a call talking about, we understand how he grew. He's growing up in a tough household. I'm like, my household's not tough. I have the soft, I'm the softest parent in the world. But he was, he got in trouble. It wasn't like he got in trouble.
Doug Gottlieb
Well, I did. So. Okay, I did tell. Here's what, I'll give you a talk. I told my son that I said, you know, if you're going to grow up and you're going to be a man, men kind of pick on each other a little bit. You know, if you're friends with Daniel Cormier maybe more than others. But I said in order to, to, to defend yourself, you'd have to be able to verbally assault them back or physically assault them back. Now the problem is you fibers, they assault them in school, you're probably getting trouble so maybe you got to wait till after school or you're at wrestling with them. What?
Daniel Cormier
You are saying this to your 6 year old son. You're gonna create a bully.
Doug Gottlieb
No, no, no, listen. I said you can't bully them. But if someone is bullying you, do you know this?
Daniel Cormier
You.
Doug Gottlieb
You're, you're being funny because you know this for sure. There's only two ways to stop someone from picking on you. Yeah. You gotta fight fire with fire. So you either verbally assault them or physically assault them. And then they know that's there's a much easier targets. Don't pick on that, dude.
Daniel Cormier
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Doug Gottlieb
And then the, I mean, the other thing obviously, and this is one of the ones that fighters should probably use more often because of who fighters are, but if it's someone below you, you can obviously ignore them, right? Yeah, you could just. I'm not gonna respond to you. You're not worth my time. But as you know, as a, like in elementary school, middle school, that tactic doesn't really work all that much.
Daniel Cormier
No, they pickle in middle school, bro. In elementary school I had it bad. Some of these guys, oh my God, I had it so bad. I don't know, I was a little dirty kid. I had no new clothes. That's a little dirty boy. You know, like because of my skin color, like if dirt gets on my face, it looks like it smears. I was always sweating, bro. I played at recess until like 8th grade. I'm in 8th grade, running on the ground, playing like basketball.
Doug Gottlieb
That's what you're supposed to do when you're a kid.
Daniel Cormier
Oh, kids. Yes, you are kids. Started, dude. My middle school, they took us off the playground. They put us in front of the school with no toys. Why just sit on the grass? They wanted to encourage you that when you got to high school, there were no more toys to play with at recess.
Doug Gottlieb
So the sports are not a toy, bro.
Daniel Cormier
Everybody just sat on the grass. Everybody just sat on the grass. Nobody was. I have not.
Doug Gottlieb
Swear to God, bro.
Daniel Cormier
I swear to God. In my middle school, they took us off the playground where the basketball hoops were in the monkey bars. They put us in front of the school where it was a big old grass pasture with a whole bunch of chairs. So at lunch you sat down and you talked to get ready for high school.
Doug Gottlieb
I swear to God. So high school, there's no recess. But in middle school, like, dudes are still, I mean, dudes are still in the sports in high school, but you know, you go play football at recess or, you know, baseball at recess, whatever.
Daniel Cormier
We couldn't do nothing. We didn't do really, that. We literally just sat there and talked. It was crazy. But yes, fighters are sensitive. That is one thing. That is absolutely true. I don't know.
Doug Gottlieb
What do you think about my parental advice, Daniel? How do you. How do you rate it? One to ten?
Daniel Cormier
Okay, Ben. So. So here's the thing.
Doug Gottlieb
My wife doesn't watch this show, so I had to work on his cross. I said, you got to hit him with the knuckles, you know, because when they throw punches, sometimes it was.
Daniel Cormier
Does your wife watch this? Watch this?
Doug Gottlieb
So I said, listen. I said, don't do it in school. But oh, my God, sometimes you just got sticking ones. Because I remember, like I said, you know, I got picked. I didn't. I think everyone got picked on, but I got picked on. But I remember one time I just threw this. I headlocked this kid and I squeezed so freaking hard. And people stopped picking on me because they didn't want to get headlocked. You know, that is how.
Daniel Cormier
That is how I stopped getting bullied. I beat up a really tough guy. It was over. I got double leg on. Was like a double leg on. He's like, whoa, this. You know what they said to me? No wrestling. No wrestling. They're like, no wrestling. I was like, to hell with that. You need to learn to wrestle if you don't want to get your ass taken down and beat up. I became a honey badger. I was scratching him. I was punching him. I don't encourage. I don't encourage my kids to fight.
Doug Gottlieb
No, we need to fight more. We need to. We need to bring fighting back. No bullying.
Daniel Cormier
I love your parenting advice. I don't know that in California I would encourage my son to wait till after school to fight with the kid. It just doesn't work like that here. It just.
Doug Gottlieb
I've been. I've been inviting you to leave the state of California.
Daniel Cormier
I know you have.
Doug Gottlieb
You guys.
Daniel Cormier
Beautiful, man. The weather's beautiful to play. It's just beautiful. I love. I love California, man. I know. Hey, maybe you don't get to beat people up on the street as much as you do in Wisconsin or Oklahoma. I'll trade it. I'll trade. It'll be a good trade off for me. I'll reserve myself from beating kids at wrestling tournaments. I'll reserve myself for my children beating people up at school to just live in California. I'm sorry, that's just me. It's my choice. I get to do that. All right, then let's go. Before you go. Before you go. Oh, we're. All right.
Doug Gottlieb
Listen. See, we came on here to talk about mma and now we're so. We're giving parenting advice and it's been awesome.
Daniel Cormier
It's. This was one of my favorite shows so far because now people know who you are. That now those comments with whether or not Ben was right or if I was right because he was bullying me in that group of people. You know who was wrong? It's this guy.
Doug Gottlieb
I don't bully people. I don't bully people.
Daniel Cormier
You bullied me in that group. Message. And we're supposed to.
Doug Gottlieb
Daniel, you know the reason we became friends. Why, like a long. Now this has been, we'll say. We'll say 16 years, 2008, probably is because I didn't let you bully me.
Daniel Cormier
You.
Doug Gottlieb
You go around bullying everyone else, and everyone else was kind of scared to give it back to you. And I said, yeah. And I said, listen, you gotta verbally assault them back. And I would give it to you back.
Daniel Cormier
He had to train the center. You constantly picked on me. You had no respect. No, I was the only one. You had no respect for the fact that I was the senior member of the team. You disrespected me from day one. You disrespect.
Doug Gottlieb
This is why I was the only one who would just roll over for you, dude.
Daniel Cormier
Yeah, it was.
Doug Gottlieb
It was, you know, the other one, you. Hey, we. We actually have to. We should do a shout out on the show today when you do this, because the only other one you didn't mess with, and I think it was likely because you were scared of him, was Steve Mako. His son just won a 17 year world title.
Daniel Cormier
Can you believe that? His son won the world. Oh, my God. What I wouldn't do for my son to win the world. Superstar Mexican fighters as Canelo's fighting this weekend also. But you have done it now two years in a row. Last year, I gotta be honest with you, it was one of my favorite nights of the year because the music was fucking great.
Shavkat
I heard your comments in the transmission.
Daniel Cormier
It was awesome. Like the whole time. The music was great. The energy was great. What does it mean to you to headline this card?
Shavkat
Well, it means a lot. Last year was like kind of the test. They wanted to see how this work, you know, and also the support of the people, you know, Mexican people. It's amazing.
Daniel Cormier
Passionate.
Shavkat
They're so passionate. They love, you know, their athletes. They're like, you know, they're so, so nice. They pray for us. You know, we do a lot of things that send a lot of big, nice energy. And also the fighters, you can notice that. You know, even Dana said, like the Mexican heart, they are always going forward, doesn't matter what. They are always chasing, chasing, trying to kill their opponent. We're not pointing, scarring. We're not. No, we're the killing. This, this is. I think it's important, you know, for combat sports because, I mean, it's huge. Who does not like to watch, you know, a big war? And I think that's. That's great.
Daniel Cormier
The crowd was crazy. The music was just so good. It felt like I had a couple quinceaneras in my life, and I had a quinceanera. I have a gym right in Gilroy, California, which is heavy Hispanic community and best Mexican food outside of. I had a place one time in Mexico that was really good. But I take up my wrestling mats, built a dance floor, and had a little girl's quinceanera. Best time ever. She's one of the wrestlers on my team. Had her quinceanera at my. You had a quinceanera?
Shavkat
No, I didn't. I didn't have.
Daniel Cormier
Why?
Shavkat
My parents didn't have money at that moment. I mean, it was like. You have to spend like.
Daniel Cormier
Dude, it's like a wedding kind of.
Shavkat
Yeah, like a big drag, big party. I mean, we were not able to.
Daniel Cormier
Let's do you want now. You got money now. Let's do you want. Why double kissing right now?
Shavkat
Like 30? No, no, it's over.
Daniel Cormier
But it was like. It was like the funnest night. It was so awesome. I've been there before. Kazakhstan. I wrestled there. It's a great country. But I got first place. Kill everybody. 2005, beat everybody. First place. He said what? At the time, he what? Even he wasn't in Kazakhstan, he was.
Doug Gottlieb
Still living in Uzbekistan.
Daniel Cormier
Oh, he was in Uzbekistan. Well, I've been to Uzbekistan too. Guess what? First place. I've been there too. First place? Yeah. So what kind of tournament? Wrestling. Freestyle wrestling. So tell him if he ever tried that shit with me, he's dead. Take down. Don't ever try this, because then you're dead. You got to kill this guy. You underestimate his wrestling. No, but I. I wrestled Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in first place. Tell him you understand. You got to understand. Shafkat. You have to understand this.
Doug Gottlieb
He was just too young.
Daniel Cormier
Shavkat, you have to understand. It's okay. It's okay.
Doug Gottlieb
If we were the Same weight. You couldn't study chance.
Daniel Cormier
Oh, Shavkat. 10 0. This is not good. 10 0. 10 0. Maybe one minute, two minutes. 10 0. Same weight. 93 kilos. 93 kilos. Because what does he weigh? Normal? 90, 90 kilos. 85 kilos. 85 kilos. Me, 85 kilo. You 10 0. Yo, this boy is too rich. Too rich. Tell him he's just too rich. I'm watching Countdown like this man got too much money, man. I got all that money. It's in the. It's in the farm. It's in the house. It's in the house. Smart man, too. We're working. He working. They had a thing came out today. He has 960, $75,000 in bonuses.
Doug Gottlieb
Not sense.
Daniel Cormier
This is crazy. God. It's in the farm. It's in the house. Let me hold some. Let me hold some. Tell them. Let me hold. Let me hold something, man. Two thousand, man. This investment. I'm out here broke, man. Tell him hook me up with something. We're working on, my man. Thanks for checking in with me as always, guys. Charles D. Bronx Oliveira. Another fight week, man. How good does it feel to be back?
Doug Gottlieb
Very happy, really focused.
