Have you heard about this? Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. The fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back and Degree listened and that doesn't happen often. They admitted they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason why it's the number one men's antiperspirant. And it's back in Walmart, Target and other stores now for under $4. So try it and see what the fuss is about. Head to your local Walmart, Target and try to OG Cool Rush for yourself.

All right guys, so you know every time we're at a UFC pay per view. It's time for my performance playbook presented by Ro. I'm your boy, D.C. an official Ro partner as we look at what Merab and Sean need to do in order.
Joe Rogan
To get a victory this weekend at UFC316.
Daniel Cormier
Hey, it's all about performing in the octagon and performing inside the bedroom.
Joe Rogan
Only takes 15 minutes for them to work.
Daniel Cormier
So Rose Sparks has got you back. Hey, if Sean o' Malley is to become champion again, you guys all know he has got to defend takedowns. There is no point in the fight where he can be comfortable on his back or relax on the idea that Merab is going to try to take him down. It's a very simple fight. It's striker versus grappler. Murab being the grappler, has to impose himself on Sean o' Malley. Merab needs to take him down, and if he can't take him down, he needs to be pressing him against the octagon side, really limiting OMalley's opportunities to get his punches off on him. Hey, this is a big time fight. Both of these guys are better today than they were in the first meeting. I cannot wait for them to look better and fit, feel better inside the octagon. And with rosparks, you can feel better inside the bedroom. Guys, go to ro colctv for $15 off of your first purchase. When you hook up with my people at Roast Sparks, go get it done. You will not regret it.
Joe Rogan
Thank you for checking in with me.
Tom Yamas
Of course. I appreciate it.
Joe Rogan
Thank you guys. I'm with the Machine Marob the Wallace. Really, Murab? Another championship fight? You and Sean o' Malley for the second time after you beat Umar, did you know it would be Sean o' Malley?
Tom Yamas
After I beat Umar, I wanted to be busy. And yeah, Sean o' Malley was another option. Maybe after Peter Ryan and yeah, I was thinking maybe either Peter Ryan or either Sean o' Malley and ufc. Tell me to. It's Sean o' Malley. Pitteriano was supposed to fight somebody else and yeah, I'm happy. I'm happy. I have another. Another fight coming up. Even I already fought him. It's a new fight, new challenge for me. And you know, he. Of course he wants to avenge his loss back and he will fix his mistake. He's been working to get better every level, even striking, wrestling, grappling. And that's gonna be another challenge for us.
Joe Rogan
Hey, I had a kid go into your gym and you knocked him down, bro. Why? You punched the guy's stomach Who? I watched a video. One of my guys, one of my wrestling guys goes into your gym nice enough to give you rounds and you punch his. Why you do this? Why'd you do this to him, Rob?
Tom Yamas
It was just funny.
Joe Rogan
But you killed. Why you killing me?
Tom Yamas
No, like my body shot got better and I was testing.
Joe Rogan
So you tested on him?
Tom Yamas
Yeah, I guess.
Joe Rogan
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw the video, man.
Tom Yamas
Yeah. Oh yeah. So, yeah.
Joe Rogan
So maybe like you need to answer to me now.
Tom Yamas
No, no, no.
Joe Rogan
Let's talk about your, your last fight a little bit before we go forward.
Daniel Cormier
First two rounds, Umar is fighting great.
Joe Rogan
Yes, right? He's fighting really good. Seems like he won the first two rounds. Are you aware that it's not going as well as you wanted? And what was the thought? Because in that third round you kind of, you changed completely, right? You're more successful. In the takedowns, the pressure was even higher. Like, what did you make of that performance?
Tom Yamas
For me, even first round was a close round.
Joe Rogan
It was close.
Tom Yamas
Yeah. I don't know which way it was gonna go, but I was positive. And like we know, you know, like my coaches now told me too, like after the first two rounds, just keep doing your thing and it will be easy. And I was just keep doing my thing. And then he literally slowly, you know, he was slowly breaking. He was himself and I was even. As rounds goes more on, I'm getting better. Yes. And then I think I show everybody this time and yeah, I, you know, I think one time I got him good body punch too. But I see his face change and then I was gonna go after, but he shoot me and he still, even he was tired, he was still moving and doing okay.
Joe Rogan
How much can you apply from. How much can you take from that fight and apply it to this fight? Right, because you have a more motivated Sean o' Malley. But Umar is a high level striker. Sean Omalley's high level striker, Charlotte o' Malley doesn't have the wrestling that Umar has. How much can you take from that fight and apply it to this one to make sure that you not only beat Shalm Ali, but you beat him in a more impressive way? I thought you won five or four rounds in the first fight. How do you do it better?
Tom Yamas
I'm not sure what I can take from the Umar's fight to this fight, but yeah, just, I get more and more comfortable, like just more confidence so I can fight any, any, any style of the fighter again and then nobody can do shit. And so, but Omali fight, it's A new challenge. Like I said, you know, he. I'm sure he's been working to stop me and I believe I'm a better fighter than him, but I still have to respect his power, his reach, his speed. And it's a new fight, new challenge. You know, not every fight goes same way. You know, you had rematches before.
Joe Rogan
It's many, many.
Tom Yamas
Yeah. And it can play out this fight different, this fight different. And that's why I'm trying to take this fight serious. Serious. And it's a new challenge for me. It's a new fight and I'm looking forward to it.
Joe Rogan
I think I fought 15 times in the UFC seven were against three people.
Tom Yamas
Wow.
Joe Rogan
I fought the same guys over and over and over again. Yeah.
Tom Yamas
Up every time.
Joe Rogan
Yeah, it was like. But it was always the same guys. Like rematch, rematch, trilogy, match, like always the same marab. What's worrisome though, if you're a fan of Merab Dualis. Willie, I saw a quote the other day that you said the motivation is not as easily gained to fight o' Malley again. Why is that? And how do you make sure that you're motivated to fight a guy that is motivated to fight you?
Tom Yamas
Yeah, so like when I fight first time new opponent, it's easy to be motivated because you have a new challenge. You never fought him and in your eyes, you respect him so much and it's a new challenge and you more wide look his dangerous skills. But when you already beat him, it's not easy to treat him as a dangerous.
Joe Rogan
But see, that's dangerous in that thought though. No morale. That's not dangerous thought. I know I can beat him. But you just said it's a new challenge. So if you're not motivated to go fight a guy that you, you know, say like it's dangerous.
Tom Yamas
I agree. That's why I'm like, I'm putting extra, extra motivate myself to know this guy is dangerous, this guy hits hard and this guy will change stuff. And that's why I motivate myself all this time. And yeah, so like, yeah, like I said, beginning it was hard to motivate myself. I already beat him because. But I have enough, enough motivation to be motivated, be focused. And I realized all the danger. And now I done training camp, everything what I was supposed to do, you know, I prepared very good. And you know, then this fight I'm gonna looking for finish him and I'm looking for give him more damage.
Daniel Cormier

Joe Rogan
But Rob, were you surprised at anything in the first fight with Sean o' Malley? Because like you said, you make him into a monster. Like this guy hits hard and he's fast his reach. And then you beat him in the.
Daniel Cormier
Way that you did.
Joe Rogan
Like, were you surprised at anything in there?
Tom Yamas
I was surprised, yes. Like how easy I was winning this fight. And I was surprised how this guy beat my friend Al Jama Sterling. And I also watched the fight and I can hear your commentary too. Like he was also surprised too. Like how easy was I was able to.
Joe Rogan
You were taking him down easier than I thought.
Tom Yamas
Yes, but he said, but he said.
Joe Rogan
He was hurt in that fight.
Tom Yamas
It's bullshit.
Joe Rogan
Said he had surgery after that. Rob.
Tom Yamas
No, listen, I did two times after the fight surgery, but I still win the fight. You know, but you know, we all have some problems in fight or some old injury, something like that. But if really something serious, we never. We not. We don't fight.
Joe Rogan
If you're. Especially as the champion.
Tom Yamas
Yeah, exactly. Yeah. You know, if you able to training, if you're able to fight and then it doesn't mean that it's serious, but if it's serious, you do surgery and then if something too you can do surgery later, you know. So. No, that's why I was surprised. But like what I say earlier. So you know, he has an echo power and he can, he can. Everybody can get knocked down.
Joe Rogan
Did he crack you in the fifth round?
Tom Yamas
I'm not gonna say crack me, but he let me feel his like first time I felt his body kick and then. And if he landed me like two more clean like this, then maybe can be problem, you know, that's why like when he got me with the body kick, I'm like, fuck. Like I was just 2 minutes earlier I was holding him down. But because of the referee told me move, do something. I let him get up. I should not let him go.
Joe Rogan
You can't listen to the referee, Murab.
Tom Yamas
I mean, I know how you're not gonna listen to referee because what's he gonna do?
Joe Rogan
The worst he can do is pick you up. You don't let him go.
Tom Yamas
Thank you. So that's good advice before. So what happened once I take him down in fifth round? I was punching and referee told Me, fighters move, do something. And I changed the position. I let him come a little bit up and I was punching and he tell me something and I let go. What should I do?
Joe Rogan
Just punch me and look at the ref go, fuck you.
Daniel Cormier
And you're all like, let him go. Why?
Joe Rogan
Like you let him go.
Tom Yamas
Yeah, exactly. You helped me to take him down, right? Yeah, exactly. And then so. And after I was chasing to take him down and he was defending like he was pulling up legs. It was hard to take him down a few times after, like after referee let me go and then the body kick comes and then I'm like, I should try to finish him early. Like, why I play with him. I was mad about myself. And yeah, that's how I play. And so, yeah, I said he let me felt the body kick. And after I was, yeah, so just I was like mad about myself, why I should finish him.
Joe Rogan
Murab, two questions before we're done. One is about Sean o' Malley. He's made some changes, right? One of the biggest things that I took, I went to your house after that fight and you were running on Monday. And that to me was like, wow, this guy thinks different. Most of us go on a victory tour. We rest, we drink the alcohol. You know, we hang out. You were running, getting ready. He said that because he knows now he's preparing for a different person now. He doesn't smoke, he doesn't travel. He's eliminated so many things in his life. How much can he change? And how much do you expect him to be different inside the octagon? Right, because now he's eliminated a lot of the things that can be seen as distractions. Right. Partying, going out, doing all this stuff. Now he's not doing that because of you, because he knows he has to be better to beat you.
Tom Yamas
Yes, this all stuff will help him for sure.
Joe Rogan
But does it make much of a difference when it's change? Opposed to it being just your life. It's what you live every day. You've never strayed from that.
Tom Yamas
Yeah, you're right. You know, you have to balance your life in a little bit. Cannot be like, I don't know, let's see. I mean, I mean, if he enjoys now this different lifestyle and he. Maybe that shows how much he wants to just win and maybe it was distraction, who knows? I'm sure it's gonna affect him like good ways and it's gonna help, like focus and be mentally more ready. I think. And I think even if he lost again, he will tell him Himself. Hey, I tried my best, you know, I think that's how I look. But my job is to expect him in best way. Best, you know.
Joe Rogan
Mehrab, you spent 25 minutes with this man.
Tom Yamas
Yes.
Joe Rogan
Can this man present a problem for you inside the octagon, or do you feel like you just can beat Sean o' Malley?
Tom Yamas
I think I can beat him, but now I give him too much respect. Like, I'm fighting first time. And that's my job to don't look him easy. But yeah, of course he has a knuckle power. He's very smart. He's speed. I cannot relax or make any mistake with him.
Joe Rogan
You know, Merab, you. You've been living life, having fun.
Tom Yamas
Yes.
Joe Rogan
Became the champ. Travel. You've had some great moments. Can I tell you my favorite Murab moment?

Podcast Summary: The Herd with Colin Cowherd
Episode: Daniel Cormier TV - Merab Dvalishvili on Sean O'Malley "BULLS***" INJURY, beating Umar
Release Date: June 7, 2025
In this episode of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, hosted by iHeartPodcasts and The Volume, Daniel Cormier engages in a compelling conversation with Merab Dvalishvili, the reigning UFC Bantamweight Champion, focusing on his upcoming rematch against Sean O'Malley at UFC 316. The discussion delves deep into the fighters' strategies, preparations, and the dynamics that make this rematch one of the most anticipated events in the UFC calendar.
Merab Dvalishvili emphasizes the importance of adaptability and continuous improvement in his preparation for the rematch. Highlighting his commitment to enhancing both his in-octagon performance and personal well-being, Dvalishvili remarks:
“It's all about performing in the octagon and performing inside the bedroom.”
[02:45]
He outlines his tactical approach, focusing on leveraging his grappling strengths to counter O'Malley's striking prowess. Dvalishvili underscores the necessity of maintaining control and minimizing Sean's opportunities to land effective punches:
“If Sean O'Malley is to become champion again, he has got to defend takedowns. Merab needs to be pressing him against the octagon side, really limiting O'Malley’s opportunities to get his punches off.”
[02:53]
Reflecting on his previous encounter with O'Malley, Dvalishvili discusses the lessons learned and how they shape his strategy for the upcoming fight. He acknowledges the improvements both fighters have made since their first bout:
“Both of these guys are better today than they were in the first meeting.”
[02:57]
Dvalishvili recounts specific moments from his last fight, revealing insights into his performance and areas for growth:
“In the first fight, I was taking him down easier than I thought. But I was surprised how easy I was winning the fight.”
[16:10]
Addressing the psychological aspects of facing a motivated opponent, Dvalishvili discusses the challenges of maintaining motivation after a victory:
“When I fight the first time a new opponent, it's easy to be motivated because I have a new challenge. But when you already beat him, it's not easy to treat him as dangerous.”
[09:19]
He emphasizes the importance of self-motivation and respect for his opponent's capabilities to ensure peak performance:
“I'm putting extra motivation to know this guy is dangerous, this guy hits hard and he's fast. I cannot relax or make any mistake with him.”
[21:24]
Merab provides an in-depth analysis of Sean O'Malley’s transformation since their last fight. He acknowledges O'Malley’s dedication to improving his game by eliminating distractions and focusing intensely on his training regimen:
“He doesn't smoke, he doesn't travel. He's eliminated so many things in his life because he knows he has to be better to beat me.”
[20:16]
Dvalishvili assesses how these changes enhance O'Malley’s readiness and competitiveness, stating:
“If he enjoys now this different lifestyle and he maybe shows how much he wants to win, it will help him focus and be mentally more ready.”
[20:22]
Daniel Cormier provides a preview of UFC 316, highlighting the significance of the Merab vs. Sean rematch and other key fights on the card:
“UFC316 goes down this weekend from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Merab Dvalishvili and Sean O'Malley are fighting for the second time, and we also get Kayla Harrison taking on Juliana Pena.”
[10:43]
He underscores the event's excitement and encourages listeners to engage with partner sponsors for exclusive offers related to the fight night.
Merab Dvalishvili on Fighter Respect and Motivation:
“Now I give him too much respect. I'm fighting first time. That's my job to not look at him easy.”
[21:24]
Dvalishvili on Overcoming Surprises in Fights:
“I was surprised how easy I was winning this fight. And I was surprised how this guy beat my friend Al Jama Sterling.”
[16:10]
Discussion on Fighting Strategy:
“If you can’t take someone down, you need to be pressing them against the octagon side, limiting their striking opportunities.”
[02:53]
On Maintaining Focus and Discipline:
“I keep myself focused by knowing how dangerous my opponent is and ensuring I don't make any mistakes.”
[21:24]
The episode offers an insightful exploration into the mindset and preparation of Merab Dvalishvili as he gears up for his rematch against Sean O'Malley. Through candid discussions, Dvalishvili shares his strategic approach, the psychological hurdles of rematches, and his respect for a highly motivated and improved opponent. Listeners gain a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in high-stakes UFC fights and the dedication required to remain at the pinnacle of the sport.
For fans anticipating UFC 316, this episode provides valuable perspectives on what to expect and heightens the excitement surrounding one of the sport’s most thrilling rivalries.
