He tested like a champ, Joe. It definitely raised eyebrows. One of the winners, at least you know the guys were eligible to draft in Fantasy. One of the winners at the combine. There's some other worrisome things. High fumble rate in college, but yeah, like, I. I think that jumped him for sure into the top five in running back, rookie running backs, and, and maybe even two or three for some people.

Oh, dude. And we're going to talk about him. I. He's going to go screaming up the board for a lot of teams. I mean, we. I heard a lot of talk about this Class being very mid and very bad. A lot of really good testing coming out of Andy, boys.

Yeah, look, I, I think. I think maybe this class took it a little personally, Andrew, that maybe, you know, hey, we're not the greatest class all this stuff. But they went out there and a lot of these guys really balled out some entertaining moments there. Did you have a big takeaway from a. A player or something you saw over the last week that either changed your mind or really opened your eyes on a talent?

I mean, the Mike Washington thing was pretty eye opening. I don't know if I saw that type of speed when you kind of watched him play at Arkansas. So the fact that it's a week in terms of the running backs after Jeremiah Love, you know, who is going to kind of establish stuff as that RB2 again, Mike Washington has really kind of firmly put himself into that conversation. So I think that was one of my big takeaways. And the fact that if you're slow, you don't run. You know, it's like that's why we're seeing all these really great times, is because agents and the players with nil, they know what they're worth. And hey, no, if you're not going to run a fast 40, you ain't running. Which is why we see a lot of guys that even though they said, hey, I'm here to compete, and then they don't do anything. That was kind of interesting too. Right?

That's why. That's why the testing thing. I mean, it seemed like everyone tested well, but there were so many guys skipping tests. Like, they might as well just do away with the 20 yard short shuttle because no dead anymore.

I've gotten dbro's take on it. We've gotten Pat's take on it on a couple shows. So Eric said, I haven't gotten your take on it. This is the one we kind of just lock in there and then we kind of start doing our thing afterwards. So Fernando Mendoza, your take on him, what you saw from the combine, perhaps too, if you want to throw in anything else there in terms of some of the other quarterbacks too, and where he really does stack up in terms of being far and away the best. And, you know, what you think he could do for the Raiders going forward in 2026 and beyond.

I think that he can provide stability to the position that they didn't really have last year because it was Geno Smith throwing a million interceptions for the Las Vegas Raiders. So I think that's where he can thrive. I think that Kubiak's offensive system really excels in terms of providing protection for his quarterbacks because the last two teams that he's been on with the Saints and Seahawks, those offensive lines weren't completely solved and he worked with the personnel that he had. So I get that on paper, the Raiders still don't have a really great offensive line. Should get Colton Miller back. Jackson Powers Johnson should also be back. So just by getting injured guys back and healthy, I think this offensive line can at least be average again. Maybe a couple pieces added through free agency in the NFL draft, you put a competent quarterback who's accurate behind that offensive line and yeah, you could see some fantasy juice, especially with the top two guys again last year, we're taking Ashton Genti, Brock Bowers, I mean, top 15 picks overall. Those guys are going to be high picks again.

And we're really betting on Mendoza to be like, hey, drive the bus. Get these guys to the promised land.

All right, there you have it. All right, Andrew, thank you for your take on Mendoza. Now, since you're also, you know, first time here doing a mock this year, we've already had Derek, and Pat's been on every single one of these because he's really carrying the weight of this program. Let's get your take here. Number two, the jets are on the clock. Andrew Erickson you're up with the number two overall pick.

Gonna go with David Bailey, edge rusher from Texas Tech. Now could have gone a lot of different directions here with the jets because some that they're just going to pick the best defensive player in this draft. Could be Alvar Reese, could be Sonny Styles, who again bury the lead like he was the best guy at the combine. Like absolutely crazy type of athleticism from Sonny Styles. So I know we highlighted Mike Washington. Again, he may not even be a day one or day two pick. Sonny Styles kind of cemented himself as a top five pick, if not the second overall pick overall. But I like David Bailey a little bit more here going to the New York Jets. I think that he fits a little bit more what Aaron Glenn is kind of looking for. Again, they just traded Jermaine Johnson, so looking for that pure edge rusher again, Arvo Reese, a little bit of the projection with the Micah Parsons type of comp. And you got to remember the Cowboys tried to trade Micah Parsons to the jets last year and the jets reportedly declined that trade. So maybe Aaron Glenn's not looking for that Micah Parsons type of off the ball linebacker edge rusher and he just wants a pure guy. I mean David Bailey had 14 half sacks last year, like 6 foot 4, 251 pounds, ran a 451-40 yard dash. I think that he just locked a load to rush the passer. Jets need to get. They got to hit a double or something like they can't strike out or Aaron Gunn's gonna lose his job. So I'll take David Bailey here.

All right, so David Bailey goes off the board. Which brings us to the number three overall pick that is held currently right now as of recording this by the Arizona Cardinals. And that puts Derek Brown up on the clock.

A lot of different directions Arizona could go. You can make a case for offensive line. You could even make a case for Jeremiah Love here. I'm going to address the defense, Arvo Reese, they didn't do much at the combine, but what he did do was run a 453-4095th percentile and carrot cardinals need pass rush. Man. This is a defense that had the fourth lowest pressure rate last year. So the upside swing here for with Arville Reese, linebacker out of Ohio State.

All right, so Arvell Reese off the board there. Very popular so far. These, these two and three. Sometimes you see them flip flop in different people's box. But so far this seems like what we're going on here very consistently here, at least in the first three mocks that we've done. Next up here, number four, the Tennessee Titans. So Pat, there's a lot of different ways the Titans can go here with this pick. It feels like a defensive pick though with the new coach coming in. Being on the defensive side.

Yeah, there has been some Jeremiah love to Tennessee buzz, but Sunny Styles indeed is not making it out of the top five. He's going number four to the Tennessee Titans linebacker from Ohio State. Six five, 244 pounds, 4.46 speed, a 43 and a half inch vertical jump. 11 foot 2 inch broad jump. Just amazing tape. And apparently everyone fell in love with Sonny Stiles during interviews at the combine. The Titans just hired Robert Sala as head coach.

Let's give Salah a chess piece. And four is early for an off ball linebacker. But Styles is great against the run. He used to be a safety and has the size and athleticism to cover the top tight ends in the league. The Brock Bowers is the Trey McBrides. The Colston Lovelands. He was highly productive in the instances when Ohio State lined up Styles on the edge and just let him go after the quarterback. And Joe, he gets his handle from Sonny Corleone of the Godfather because Stiles was so hot tempered as a kid. I didn't know that before the combine and I love that we learned that from the interview with Sunny Styles mom who gave us the dish.

It's not like you tackle them from a mile away. You got to get close. But a boom. You know, you tackle them all over your nice Ivy League suit. Michael. Finally Derrick Brown gets that joke because last summer I made him watch the Godfather with me. And you enjoyed it, did you not? Both.

Don't even. Last summer I tried to watch it too, because it was on. I was like, you know, I'm g. I haven't seen it in like 20 years. I go like, nope, nope, nope. It's still awful. Shout out to Bogman though too because it was the first mock where he was talking up Styles quite a bit on that show we did with Steve Mench. Go back and watch it on the YouTube channel. It's a great mock too. If you're looking to get your mock drafts on. Mench is a great guest, but he was really talking about being like, hey, this is one of the safest investments you can make in this draft. And obviously the stock has risen. I want to say he went somewhat. Did he go to the Steelers in that first draft? I want to say maybe. I don't know.

No, I mean, he was early and I, at the time, I wasn't that early. I thought Boggs took him way too high. I think he went. Gave him like to. To the commanders at seven.

Oh, maybe that's what it was.

And even then I thought that was really early. And now that's like the commanders be doing back flips if he fell to them at 7.

We like to speak well of people when they're not on the show. When they're here, we make fun of them. That's. That's what friends do.

That's what friends do. All right, let's go to the next pick here. We're going to go swing back around to Andrew Erickson for the New York Football Giants. All right, so where do the Giants go with this next election? Here at number five, gonna go three

in a row from Ohio State, Caleb Downs, safety, former Buckeye to the New York Giants. I know that we've had some medical red flags pop up with Caleb Downs in the aftermath of the NFL scouting combine, which is part of the reason why they do the combine is to get their correct reads on all these guys medicals. So Fitz, what did you say that the exact medical on him was?

[A]

So it's partially torn meniscus and there are some concerns about a degenerative ACL condition. But I know our medical guy, Dr. Deepak Chona, does not think it's a big deal, like a major concern, and that a lot of tears are partial and maybe that's kind of why that comes in. Like it could be a small partial tear fixed by a fairly minor procedure. So I don't think it's going to drop Caleb Downs into day two, put it that way.

Well, he's not dropping outside the top five in our mock draft in my picks. So again, to the New York Giants. I think that it's simple as I don't look at the Giants as a team that, oh, they need to have a safe. They just got to get better on defense. I mean, the second worst run defense in the NFL last season and John Harbaugh stepping in as the new head coach. I mean, if there's any guy that's going to have not even think twice about drafting a safety in the top five. And just valuing this position more than any other head coach, it would be John Harbaugh. When John Bar was talking about Caleb Downs earlier after he was hired by the New York Giants, he talked about we favor hall of Fame safeties. So if we have a chance to draft a potential future hall of Fame safety in Caleb Downs, that would just be fine with me. The guy, he's already calling him a Hall of Fame player. So if he's on the board, I think he's going to be a New York Giant.

I also heard a rumor today, too. Someone from SNY here in New York was reporting that the Giants are going to go after Ken Walker. I was like, why?

Okay. Interesting. I don't know if that's my Scatter Boo shares, but I don't know if I care for that. I'm just saying, just put it out loud. All right, number six here. The Cleveland Browns are up next. Cleveland, another team that could use a whole lot, but really got to get better in the trenches. So I assume we're going for the offensive line here, D. Bro, Absolutely.

And I know people could say, well, maybe they bypass that with a trade for Titus Howard. But look, this entire offensive line needs to get rebuilt like last year's offensive line. Everybody's going is an impending free agent. Wyatt Teller's already come out and said I'm not coming back. So they have to continue to build the offensive line. Let's give them Francis Minoa, offensive tackle out of Miami. Look, 15th highest graded offensive tackle in FBS last year. Six best and pass blocking grades. So between him and Howard, it's a good start.

All right, coming up next, the Washington Commanders at seven. Papitz Morris is just itching to give away this next player. I could feel it in my bones. I feel it. He loves his players so much, and rightfully so. I. I get it. What's not to love? He is fantastic. So let's talk about Jeremiah Love. And. And I'll tell you what. If the Giants want other running back, if they don't like Scatter Boo or whatever it is, like just draft Jeremiah Love. I don't know why you'd be spending money on Ken Walker who's been in the league I a couple years, that makes no sense to me. But here we are. Anyway. Let's say that does not happen. Fitzy. Talk about why Love could be a great fit here with the Washington Commanders at seven.

Yeah. So it's Love to the Commanders here, Joe. And it, it's kind of a tricky spot for Washington, which only has two draft picks in the first four rounds. They don't have a, a pick in the second, they don't have a pick in the fourth. So if they can't get either Arvl Reese, David Bailey or Sunny Styles, all of whom I think they would, you know, jump at the chance to draft at number seven. But look, I, I just don't think there's much of a chance any of those guys are around here. This could potentially be a trade down spot for, for the Commanders to pick up more picks and maybe Jeremiah Love would be the bait for that. For a team looking to move up and get him and jump the Saints and. Or the Chiefs. Or maybe it's just the Chiefs jumping the Saints or the Commanders could just stay put and take Love's love themselves and add an electric playmaker at running back to pair with Jaden Daniels, which would really give the Commanders one of the more exciting offenses in the league. So, yeah, that's the pick here, Jeremiah Love to the Commanders.

This is a sexy one too. This is the first time that this confluence of events has happened. I like it. That brings up the New Orleans Saints now with the eighth pick here, Erickson. Lots of talent on the board here. So they go offense or defense.

New Orleans, they're going to go offense. Because the theme of the off season for the Saints is we got to build the ship around Tyler schuck in year two where he'll be 27 years old, but that's okay because the Saints team, you look up how they finished last year, I think this team feels like, hey, we're in win now mode. This division is wide open. We know that any of these teams could win in the NFC south, so you just got to get hot at the right time. And I think that they saw obviously enough from shuck to hey, let's give this guy more weapons again. Last year they traded away weapons. They got rid of Rashid Shahid. So Carnell Tate, despite the fact that he ran, just, I mean, guys, four, five, three, man, like, I can't believe he's even going to be drafted in the first round anymore. But I think that he's still going to be probably the first receiver drafted as he's the only guy that ran. He's the only one of the top three, the big three, the big scary three guys, receivers. Well, Carl Tate's the only one that actually ran and we could go through 40 yard dash, laser time, gate or whatever. But I think that he's a nice fit into this offense. I think too maybe he gives them a little bit of leverage in terms of this Chris Olave contract. Right. Olave still hasn't signed that long term deal. We know that he has a well documented concussion history. So although. And dbro, I know that Cardinal Tate is your guy. I know there's a little bit of overlap in terms of Olave and Carnell Tate skill set. Again, not exactly carbon copies of each other, but do you like this fit? But I think, you know, what he has in his favorite Carnell Tate, for me at least is the fact that it's the way he creates separation. The speed is not the reason he does it, it's the footwork in which he does it. So to me, the fact that he isn't 44 elite level speed necessarily, it doesn't bother me that much. Only because when you watch the tape of him, to me it's about the footwork and how he creates a separation and the route running and all the other things he does so well that, you know, there's a lot of guys that are burners that, that don't do that very well. We've seen that time and time again. You know, you can light up that radar gun, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it translates to the NFL. Right. I mean that. That's my take on it. What's yours?

D. Exactly the same. I mean, I could just rattle off like, name your favorite awesome wide receiver that we talked about. Our people in previous years talked about he was too slow. T. Higgins, DeAndre Hopkins, Cooper Cup. Need I go on like Drake London was too slow.

Okay, I'm, I'm kind of wish casting forecasting here, so I guess I'll, I'll make this a twofold or two pronged approach here. Travis Kelce announces his retirement from the NFL. And the Kansas City Chiefs draft Kenyon Sadiq, tight end out of Oregon after his amazing combine. He's a three down tight end easily. Runaway tight end, one of this class. And I mean, I, I just don't know. Again, we talk about after the combine guys that are going shooting up the board. Yeah, we could talk about Mike Washington Jr. We could talk about all these different guys. Kenyon Sadiq is in that conversation too.

All right. At number 10, the Kansas. Excuse me. The Cincinnati Bengals are up next and Pat Fitz. Morris. Pat, there's a player on the board that was going in the two or three overall a couple of weeks ago. He's still on the board. Is it time for Cincinnati to pounce on him?

Yes. We are going to stop the slide for Ruben Bane. The edge from Miami on film alone. Joe. Yeah, you're right. Bain should be a no brainer top five pick. But his arm length, far from ideal. His arms measured 30 and 7/8 of an inch at the combine. It was the third shortest arm length measured among all the edge rushers to have measured at the combine since 1999. And coincidentally, one of the other two edge rushers with shorter arms is another projected first round pick this year, Cassius Howell. But man, Bane is a wrecking ball. The guy just plays with incredible power. Quick as a cat. And look, the Bengals need help at every level of their defense. Trey Hendrickson is not going to be back. Yes, the Bengals drafted an edge guy in the first round last year with Shemar Stewart. Pff. Graded Jamar Stewart 119th out of 119 Edge players last year. Cincinnati needs more pass rushing steam and Bain falling this far would be an absolute gift for them. Just if you're going out to lunch with Ruben Bane, just don't expect him to pick up the check with those short arms. Be prepared. Bring your, Bring your credit card.

take an offensive tackle, Spencer Fanu from Miami or excuse me, from Utah. Excuse me. The Miami Dolphins are pick Miami, right? Yes, to Miami. And I think that they want to build from the inside out. That's kind of what their new GM talked about when he first signed on with the Miami Dolphins. Fanu has lined up at right tackle the last two seasons at Utah. Kind of view it as one of the top two tackles in the class. Now, speaking of arms, he's another player. That arm length was a little bit disappointing. 32, 18 inches. You know, usually 33 inches is kind of the standard for NFL tackles. And after what happened in the super bowl and Will Campbell in the playoffs, like everybody is, I think looking at this arm length very, very seriously. Again, that's how you know it's NFL draft season is everyone becomes an arm length expert. So even though he may have shorter arms, the Dolphins need a lot of their interior offensive line work. So whether they decide, okay, we'll play him at tackle this year and then decide down the road, okay, we'll kick him inside. He's a mauler. Daniel Jeremiah called him one of these explosive people movers. So I think that he's going to help up front whether Miami has an interior blocking, outer blocking. So give me Spencer Fano to the Dolphins.

Cornerback out of LSU last year allowed the seventh lowest pass rating in his coverage and a 40 catch rate. This dude can play zone can play, man, next to Duron Bland. This could help transform this Dallas Cowboys defense.

All right, so Cowboys get a piece on defense. Let's see what the Rams get here. Pick number 13, the one they acquired last year from the Atlanta Falcons. What do the Rams do with his luxury 13?

They are going to take what seems like a luxury pick, Joe. They're going to take Makai Lemon, the wide receiver from usc. And why would a team that already has Devonte Adams and Puka Naku at wide receiver go with another wide receiver? Well, Nakua and Adams are both in the final year of their contracts this year. Adams is 33. So yeah, they're sort of fortifying the wide wide receiver position long term with Makai Lemon. And I know his media session at the combine was a little weird. Moves around like a cobra when he talks. But hey, we've all got our quirks. Lemon is just this high floor, high upside slot guy. The film is fantastic. Dude is a playmaker. He's been comped to Amon Ross St. Brown and I think it's a reasonable comp. So yeah, this. Not only does this solidify the wide receiver position for the Rams long term, but man, Matthew Stafford would have an unholy trinity of pass catchers for 20, 26.

They're going to be free agents. I know that the Ravens have talked about. Yep, we. We're going to reset the market with Tyler Linderbaum, but it seems like other teams are really interested in. So I don't know if they're gonna be able to hold on to him and if he leaves in free agency. Well, they have gaping hole in that interior which gotta protect Lamar Jackson. Got to create holes for Derrick Henry. So they get the best guard in the class from Penn State.

They're taking a wide receiver, Jordan Tyson of Arizona State. And I know Debro thinks Carnell Tate is like a different than all the other guys. For me I have Tate number one, Lemon two, Tyson three. But they are so tightly bunched in my rankings you could not slide a playing card between any of them. The only reason Tyson is number three for me, tore multiple knee ligaments in 2022. Said other injury issues. But like, I think he might be the most complete receiver prospect in the draft. Like good size at 62203, can line up at any wide receiver spot. And like even blocking. This dude has honed his blocking under the tutelage of one of the best blocking receivers of all time, Arizona State wide receivers coach Hines Ward. So like Tyson can do it all. Dude just needs to stay healthy.

They're going to go with a tackle from Georgia, Monroe Freeland, who's had a I think pretty strong rise since the NFL combine when they finally got his measurables. 6 foot 7, 315 pounds, 35 inch arms. This is an upside pick. And I think when you look at the Detroit Lions, Taylor Decker dealt with a lot of injuries last year as they're starting left tackle and he's already been talking about Mullen retirement, right? And when these guys think about retirement, it just doesn't just go away. You know, last year they had Frank Ragnall retired and they tried to get him back out of retirement and then it was just a total disaster. So I think Detroit has shown us already again trading for offensive linemen that hey, we got to get back to running the football in between the tackles. Let's improve our offensive line, get healthy up there. I think Freeland has a lot of upside. Again, he only has 16 career starts under his belt at Georgia, but experience at left tackle. He has the measurables for an upside type of pick and he's still a little bit raw just based on the 16 career start. So give me Freeland to the Lions.

All right. 18. The Minnesota Vikings still a team in search of some quarterback answers. So what do they do with this pick here at 18 debro well they're

gonna have to answer the fact that Harrison Smith is probably going into retirement and this is a wonderful answer for them. Let's give them safety Dylan Denman out of Oregon 9.64 RAZ score. This guy is just a freak athlete. 89th percentile or higher. Showings in the 40 yard dash, vertical jump and broad and a playmaker. Brian Flores is just gonna love this guy. He had two interceptions and four pass breakups last year.

Carolina Panthers on at 19 Pathetz Morris what do the Panthers do here with this pick?

[A]

They take a key Messador edge rusher from Miami Florida and the one drawback with Messador is that he is going to turn 25 this month. And Carolina though they need pass rushing help. They the NFL's second worst pressure rate in 2025. And Macedor might be an older prospect, but the good thing about that is he comes with this greater level of refinement. He is going to be ready to contribute right away. He can win with speed or power, has a deep toolkit as a pass rusher. And by the way, the guy who's been tutoring the two Miami edge rushers, Bain and Mesadore hall of Famer Jason Taylor. Not a bad teacher.

Not too bad at all. All right, number 20. The Dallas Cowboys with another first round pick, this one acquired from the Micah Parsons trade with Green bay. So at 20 with their second selection here in the first round, Andrew Erickson, what do the Cowboys take?

[D]

They draft our third safety here in round one, which is crazy. Imagine having three first round safeties in our 2026 NFL season. Oh you love to see it. So Emmanuel McNeil Warren because the Dallas Cowboys already got a cornerback with their first pick so just continuing to bolster this secondary because this got got shredded last year. The Dallas secondary could not stop anybody last year. We know that because we attack them in fantasy football every single week now. They have a good pass rush, they have Quinn and Williams. So I'm not as concerned about having to address the edge and you look at, say, Donovan Wilson, he led the team at snaps. He needs a new contract. Wake Hooker is the last year of his deal. So I think that Dallas would really greatly benefit from snagging one of these top safeties in this year's class.

Okay, so after that we go to number 21. That's the Pittsburgh Steelers DBRO. We all know they have a need at wide receiver and there's still some talent left out on this board. Is that where they're going?

[E]

Absolutely. One of my favorite wide receivers of this class, Denzel Boston, wide receiver out of Washington. I don't know who's gonna be throwing on the ball, but they still need pass catching help here. And Boston is a fantastic receiver. I think people are going to shade him because of raw speed and all this. Like, guy's a fantastic route runner, ballpoint winner. Like he, he's, he's a wonderful prospect.

Okay, next up Here at number 22 we have the Los Angeles Chargers and Pat Fitzmaurice. The pick is yours.

[A]

Well, the Chargers need interior offensive line help, but they could also use help on the defensive line. Khalil Mack and Adafe Oway are about to hit free agency, so they're going to take Keldrick Falk, the edge rusher from Auburn, six six, 276 pounds, 34 inch wingspan. And Falk is only 20 years old, so the potential here is immense. And yet despite his age, Falk gets these rave reviews for his character and work ethic. So seems like a nice piece for the Chargers defense.

[B]

All right, so there you go. Charge defense. Pretty good too. So that's a nice addition for them. 23. The Philadelphia Eagles, Andrew Erickson. What could they use in 2026?

[D]

Howie Roseman is going to continue to invest in what he always does is in the trenches and this time on the offensive side. Offensive line, Blake Miller, right tackle from Clemson. They got to have a replacement long term for Lane Johnson. He's going to be 36 years old. He's, he's going to the, the plan is he's going to play this year into his 14th season, but we've seen how bad this Eagles offense falls off when he misses time and I think they need a little bit more help, especially depth wise at tackle. So you bring him in and Lane Johnson, maybe his last year, have him kind of learn under the veteran and then be ready to take off in 2027 as the full time starter for the Philadelphia Eagles. At right Tack again started 54 games at Clemson. He's experienced and I think he showed at the combine that he's under. I think he was being undervalued in terms of his athleticism.

Well, the Eagles love to win in the trenches, so that's been very good to them in this run that they've had so much success. All right, number 24, that pick is up next. Look, I'm not worried about size. I'm not worried about drops. It's all over the film. I'm not worried about his hands. He could play inside outside. He has that versatility. We're discussing a player that was 26 in yards after catch per reception despite having a 12.28. Casey is the truth man. Let's give K right Linda Playmaker.

Next up, the Chicago Bears at 25. Pat Fitz Morris, that pick belongs to you.

It's going to be Kayla Banks, the defensive tackle from Florida. The Bears are pretty set on offense, but they need a lot of help on defense and defensive tackles. A pressing need Grady Jarrett turns 33 in April. Javon Dexter is entering the final year of his rookie deal. Banks is six six 327 pounds, 35 inch arms and the dude clocked a 504 in the 40 and had a 32 inch vertical jump. At 327 pounds he is an a pretty amazing human specimen and the power and athleticism give him massive upside. It's possible he goes much earlier than this. But there are some questions about his durability and stamina. So high risk, high reward pick for the Bears.

Another impressive specimen, Andrew Erickson, number 26 here. Buffalo Bills, you're up on the clock.

Another Ohio State Buckeye. How did offenses score on this team in college football? Like, I'm like, I'm like looking up at this. Do they give up any points? Not many on, on defense. So yeah, I'm just going to take

eventually in the college playoffs.

Seems like a good, good process play. Kaden McDonald knows tackle. Is Buffalo ever going to stop the run? I can't remember the last time the Bills could actually stop the run, so I think they're going to address it this year. Invest in a nose tackle, 326 pounds. McDonald's not really known as a pure pass rusher in any way. But look, just don't overthink it. Bills just stop the run. You know, combine him with Ed Oliver up front. If he's healthy in 2026, I think they can turn their run defense into hopefully a strength that. It starts with McDonald in the transition.

And Ed Oliver had some health issues last year too. Like you're. I think you're right. I mean the team just ran amok on them and not even great running teams, just everybody just ran amok on them last year. It's a good pick. I like that one, Andrew. All right, Next up at 27, the San Francisco 49ers and Derrick Brown.

[E]

Well, Buffalo made this a little bit easier for the 49ers because they too need D tackle help and stuff. But I'm going to give them an answer both in the short and long term of the offensive line. Trent Williams and his future in San Francisco is absolutely up in the air even if he comes back. Kaden Proctor, offensive tackle out of Alabama, could be a good fit on this offensive line because they could kick right tackle. Colton McKivit's inside. He does have a little bit of history of playing guard and give them a long term successor to Trent Williams.

All right, at 28, the Houston Texans, they just got a running back via trade. So David Montgomery is there now. So therefore what's the pivot for them in terms of need? Are we going. Gee, I wonder, could it be offensive line Pat for the Texans? Holy crap.

[D]

Yeah, Joe.

[A]

I would fall out of my chair on draft night if the Texans didn't pick an offensive lineman in the first round. And I was really hoping Kayla Kaden Proctor was going to be here. But Debro took care of that for me. So the Texans needed offensive line help even before they traded away Titus Howard and Juice Scruggs. So, yeah, I think this needs to be a guy capable of playing tackle. So it's going to be Caleb Lomu, the offensive tackle from Utah. Two year starter, very athletic, big frame, he can stick a tackle. And Texans just absolutely have to invest in their offensive line and this is a nice building block for them.

[B]

All right, next up, the Rams. Another team with multiple picks in the first round. Number 29, though, Andrew Erickson. What are we doing here?

[D]

They're going to take a quarterback from Tennessee, Jermod McCoy. I think that some evaluators would actually look at him as potentially the number one cornerback in this class. But the issue is he was injured all of last year, so there are question marks about how healthy he is. He did not test at the combine. Now he has talked about he's going to test that tendencies pro day, which is on March 31st. And I think that again, if he tests well, he's not going to probably be available at 29. But if you're the Rams and you can get a potential top 10 pick outside with your second first round pick, I think you can take a little bit more of a risk. And I think that's something that we could potentially see with these teams that have multiple first round picks and they're not packaging up for one player that maybe they take on a little bit more of a risk because they have another first round pick that they can, you know, rest their laurels on. So, yeah, drama coy. I think that the Rams Achilles heel last year defensively was their secondary. I mean, we saw Bryce Young light this defense up multiple times. Jalen Coker having a monster game against the Los Angeles Rams defense in that secondary. We know their pass rush is really nasty up front, but I think they can use some help in their secondary.

The Patriots are taking TJ Parker the edge from Clemson and I was just looking at a mock draft that someone did in July of 2020. 5. Before the college football season, G.J. parker was the fourth overall pick in that draft. And based on his 2024 performance, Parker looked like a top 10 lock. Based on 2025, he looked like more of a second round guy. So I do think this is a worthwhile gamble for the patriots. They were 24th in pressure rate last year. Parker gets it together, he could be a force of nature. This dude ran a 4.68 at 263 pounds. He's powerful, he's got long arms, and he has a knack for stripping the football. So I think he's the edge guy. The Patriots need to add some juice to their pass rush.

Good question. I mean, for a Super bowl team, they do have a lot of different area of need. Areas of need and a lot of credible wide receiver candidates in the second round. It could happen.

Yeah, I think it's 50, 50, I'll be honest. Like the old times are back again in New England. All right, let's wrap things out there with the reigning defending champions of the world, the Seattle Seahawks. At 32, Andrew Erickson. Let's put a bow on this thing with the Seahawks. Last pick.

Yeah. Rounded out with another Clemson tiger, cornerback Avion terrell, brother of A.J. terrell. The Seahawks, their biggest defensive need, I think, is just Josh Job, Tariq Willen are going to both be free agents. So if they can't bring back both guys, which I don't anticipate, I think Woolen's probably going to walk. They'll need another cornerback here. So Avion Terrell again, in his interview, he talked about how much pride he has in tackling. At 5 foot 11, 180 pounds. I think that sounds like a guy that Mike McDonald would want on his defense.
