Can you name that baby star? Star. So bad at this, Monsie. But it was the NFL Playoff edition. Stars. I'm so bad. Monty's with us today. Hey, Mon. Happy to be here, guys. You should have a baby picture of a celebrity or athlete. I'm terrible. By the way, when he says baby picture, there was like one baby. Everyone else was like a teenager. Oh, we're talking. Okay, that's. Yeah, just like before. They were stars. I can't. I can't put a baby to a face. I think we're stars. NFL Playoff edition. We did it on over promised. Rich is terrible. I'm so bad that Covino is like, guess this one. I'm like, I don't know. Matthew Stafford. He's like, that's Josh Allen. Better, Worse. He's like, that's Lamar Jackson. Yeah. Rich has no idea. Play along at home. So bad. Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page over promised. It's our bonus show. You could watch it. You could listen. And we also paid homage to the legend Bob Euchre. So join us there and thank you for joining us here. We have lots to get to. Little time. Danny G. The most buttery producer in all the land, the smoothest voice. Yo, yo. Happy divisional round playoff weekend. Many say the best weekend of football every year. Many say Danny G has the greatest voice to crack the mics here in these studios after Casey Kum and of course, I don't know, Iowa. Sam is on the ones and two. Sam. Hello, everybody. It's been a day. What rumor are we starting? It's been a day. That, that I was. Sam was once a child star. Yeah. He used to be cousin Oliver on Brady Bunch. I love that. Yeah, I believe it. I was in the Goonies. Yeah. And of course Monty's got your updates, but she's hanging out with us. And, and Rich, I got to start it off by saying, yeah, I want to talk about your boy Pete Alonso because I think your Mets are blowing it. But in other baseball news, Shohei Ohtani apparently donated $500,000 to the LA Wildfire Relief. Now, I have to make it very clear, I'm never the guy that wants to spend other people's money or that's telling people what they should do with their money. I don't like that. And it rubs me the wrong way. It's like, well, what did you do? Are you donating anything? But when you're making almost a billion dollars, probably more. When all said and done playing baseball in Los Angeles and you want fans to embrace you and you just won a World Series, you don't think for optic reasons or as the millennials say, the weenials, aesthetic reasons, aesthetics. He couldn't have just made it a million dollars, 500,000. I don't know how did his parlays do last weekend? Now, you got exactly funny. I mean, you got Beyonce, you got Taylor Swift dropping big money people, donating. It's better than nothing and it is very generous. So I'm not talking out of both sides of my mouth, but what I am saying is a million would have sounded a hell of a lot better coming from the highest paid dude. In baseball. In sports. In sports. Shohei Ohtani. Let me tell you, am I wrong for saying that? Because that is the vibe a little bit I'll tell you why. Because I wrote to you in our show notes today. I texted Camino first thing in the morning. That's precious. After I wrote, good morning, sweetheart. Yeah, good morning, beautiful. I said, it's weird that he texts me when all he has to do is shake my shoulder. Blue doesn't want to wake you up. Roll over, you know? Roll over. Yeah. Tap, tap. Just tap me. Stop. I wrote to Camino this morning after. Good morning, dumpling buns. Fans are dumb. They're mad he only donated $500,000. I know how that sounds. Mock me. What do we do as a show? We donate a couple hundred dollars to a couple places that meant something to us and, you know, donate a couple bucks if he can. This guy donated a half a million dollars and some jos are like old cheapskate. Get out of here. What is that? Do the math, though. What's a half a million for a guy that's making about a billion? Covino, you didn't read the who? I never do Danny show. Don't be surprised. Shohei deferred $2 million of the donation to 2028. That was really nice, honestly. They'll need it. Still then not everything is needed up front. That's funny. You know, it's so. Again, I know how it sounds and I don't want to be. I don't want to be that jerk on social media that piles on when that guy's done nothing to help anybody jerk again. You know, spending other people's money. I don't want to be that guy. But it does look a little lame when everybody knows the type of money you're making. Come on, he couldn't have coughed up a million dollars. A million dollars to him is not that much for the city he plays for. I. I get it. Because he represents Los Angeles. Of all the teams in all the land he could have played for, he chose the Dodgers, formally of the Angels. Right down the highway, he's, I think, generous. Are doing half said and done. Spencer Pratt is going to be given back more than Shohei Otani is Los Angeles. How does that make sense? Think about it. A reality TV star will probably be end up giving more to LA than Shohei Ohtani, who's making a billion dollars. I did the. I did the math, okay? Because it's a game. It's a game of percentages and like decimal points. And that's really difficult to figure out in my brain. But this would be like, let's say you made an even number. $100,000, okay. Which is like pretty good salary. But if you made $100,000, this would be the equivalent of you donating, donating $50 to the city of Los Angeles. Which is generous for someone that makes $100,000, I think. So think about it that way. But this is a guy that makes almost a billion dollar fifty. So it is kind of weak. But think about it. Could you. Look, if $500,000 to us is a lot of money, to him, it's not. And that's how you have to view it. So I understand how it appears for people to be like, man, that's all. But it really is kind of weak. What about everybody else that plays in LA? Sorry, Spot. No, go ahead. LeBron James. I just wanted to double check that I didn't miss anything. I'm like, did LeBron James donate anything? No, not that we know of. But you know what? Shame on him if he hasn't. But guys like LeBron, guys like Shohei, premier prominent dudes that run this city, should lead by example in that way, you know, you can't just take, take, take from the city and not give back. We did a story recently where the city of Los Angeles, who put on or who had to support the parade to celebrate the Dodgers World series championship, spent $2 million on just first responding personnel, police and fire to support the parade. $2 million on this parade. So now it's time to give back to the city. Don't they give back to the city by having a team here that makes money and win? No, but listen, Mansi paid back that $2 million. I know they. Listen, I'm on. I'm on. Not Cavino's team. Sorry, dumpling buns. Dan Byard, be very. You're going to sleep on the couch. Let me. Let me tell you this. I. You're going to have to cook your own dinner tonight. I'm telling you. Monsie said it and I was about to get there until I see every prominent celebrity, athlete, social media influencer emptying their pockets. Why? Why you got to be a follower. Lead by example. But. But you can't say Ohtani only donated half a million dollars until I see Clayton Kershaw, Matthew Stafford, none of them amount of money. They. Yeah, but even if they donated a couple hundred thousand dollars, they should. I think they should anything. I do think they should. And what, what did you always. What do we always joke about? When I rebuilt my house here a couple years ago, should have made it a smart home like Spot. Oh, absolutely. Spot was the best Mony at spending my money. Oh, I love doing it. I still do. You know what I would have done? I would have opened up that wall and, you know, done. Done those sliding huge doors. I'm like, yeah, Spot, that would have been an extra $100,000. Well, I also would have. It's easy to spend other people's money. Spot has good taste, though. I do think so. Sh. Otani has all these sponsorships from not only here in the States, but overseas in Japan. Every. I was in Japan. His face was everywhere in certain cities. You don't think he could have had someone else match his $500,000 to make it a million? To set the precedents, to make an impact, to do something right? Look, dude, I think it's generous. I really do. But I also think it would have looked a hell of a lot better if it was a million. That's all I'm saying. And that is part of the story today. He donated $500,000 to the LA Wildfire Relief. That's nice. Not have been nice if he doubled that. I don't even know if that's true, Kavino. He would have donated a million, and you would have sat here and you would have been like, only a million. Yeah, but 500,000 kind of. Guys, guys, listen. Beyonce's foundation gave two and a half million. Just saying. Yeah, just saying. Two and a half million. It's true. They found a. And you know what? And you're all hypocrites. Everybody pretend that if you're not going to a wedding, you're not trying to match everybody else. If Beyonce gave 2.5, of course we're gonna compare it to Shohei. Shohei's a billionaire. He only gave 500,000. Rich. At your wedding, you weren't saying, man, Covina only gave me this and this guy gave me that. People always compare, hey, we're going to a party. What are you giving them? That's just how it works. So we're gonna speculate on what Shohei did. That's what people do. That is what people do. I just think people are never satisfied. They're not. And the expectation of Ohtani is always just gonna be never satisfied. And I'm just like, are we holding this accountable for everybody that plays in la? That's cheapskate. He's still a che. I think he's a cheapskate. Maybe it's a cultural goal. You can't call someone a cheapskate. You can't call someone a cheapskate when they just donated half A million dollars to anything. Ready? We just broke down how little that is in the grand scheme of his income. But he doesn't have that income for another 10 years. You know how many sponsorships? Like I said, let's hear it. Spot. I was gonna say fellow Dodger Freddie Freeman donated $100,000, as well as his wife donating an additional $100,000. Like, separately? Separately. That's weird. Different accounts. I have more questions about this. Maybe it's a tax thing. Who knows? But several. Yeah, like Leo DiCaprio. A million dollars. JLo, donate. Like, all of these people have donated or have encouraged people to donate under, like a. Some sort of fund that they've created. Listen, so everyone's doing something. Doing the right thing should never be criticized. Taylor Swift and 10 million. I get it. Maybe compared to. All right, let's. You know, I'm gonna bring this into it culturally. For all we know in Japan, when disasters happen, maybe. Maybe there's a different take on it. Maybe he felt like, for all, you know, Shohei Otani woke up and he's like, $500,000. Maybe get a loan. Maybe there's an old Japanese saying that it's not about the money, it's about what he does, you know, in person and his presence moving forward. He'll be there to help. Maybe there's a reason, like a cultural reason, like you said. I was trying to think of things. Or maybe he's just tapped out from donating to all the Godzilla disaster relief. No Japanese jokes. Japan, Godzilla. I was waiting for the racist drop. No, but it's like, stereotype. A lot goes on in Japan. Isn't there a Godzilla museum? We don't have a CPU voice that says stereotypical. Yeah, that's what we need, Spot. Trying to backpedal. Oh, I'm not backpedaling. I'm bleeding into it. Hey, I was. I stayed at the Godzilla hotel. They embrace them. It's true. Anyway. So, Ohtani, it's a story today. Judge for yourself your thoughts at kobenonrich. But here's the thing. You could. You could have an opinion, and you could have a thought on it without really being judgy. I'm not judging him, but I. You can't help but speculate, that's all. I'm just speculating. I'm not judging. I'm doing a little bit of judge. You're looking in the collection basket. What? You're doing, looking at the guy next to you, putting. Who's putting what in the collection basket? At church. I mean, because we have brains, right? That's why you're not going to scratch your noggin and be like 500,000. Huh? Really? You know what $500,000 buys you in LA? A bunch of toothpicks. Yes. Nothing. And it's also, by the way, the only. All right, I'll back up Camino in this one regard. Buys you a cameo from Shaq. I just want to wish you a happy birthday. Hey, way to recover. Thanks. Happy birthday from Shaq. $500,000. Give me my money. I think you have to remember that L. A is expensive to own a home in L. A. Minimum million dollars. Minimum, minimum Minimum million bucks. So maybe perspective wise, if you're in, you know, Idaho or Iowa or, you know, and over 10,000 houses were burnt down in one city, I know you don't know the difference between Idaho and Iowa. That's why you just said them together. You were like, idaho. I know that Idaho. I know that Idaho. Idaho is closer to potatoes. You just have a potato in your pants. All right, thank you. So your thoughts on Ohtani? Cheapskate. Super generous. I think everyone's going to be judgy. I think the reality of it is anyone that tries to donate and do a good deed, it's like I always felt this way when people would criticize, like the Kardashians and certain people like, you know, they do more good. You may roll your eyes, but there's very eye rolly people that still do charitable good things. And I find it hard to mock someone that took $500,000 of their tax write off. That's what people say. Well, anyway, we'll get to that. Pete Alonzo. My dudes in the news. Well, not really my dude anymore, it seems. So what's the story with Pete Alonzo? Plus, more importantly, divisional round. I got five on it. We got five on. We did it last week where we put five bucks each on our parlay picks. That's right. I Venmo'd him my five bucks. Now, last week after the first game, all of us were out except Danny. The other five games we were just watching. So could any of us in the room. And one special Lucky listener at 877-99-FOX will pick all four games against the spread. Four for four is a doable parlay. So we got five on it. We'll make our picks and explain next right here on FOX Sports Radio. 87799 on FOX. Get in on it now. The average time to hire for Most organizations is 30 to 45 days. Adnan Burke here to tell you about a new podcast from iHeart podcast in the National Hockey League. It's NHL Unscripted with Perkin Demers. Hey, I'm Jason Demers, former 700 game NHL defenseman turned NHL Network analyst, and boy, oh, boy, does daddy have a lot to say. I love you. By the way. On NHL Network, we're looking forward to getting together each week to chat and chirp about the sport and all the other things surrounding it that we love. Right? Yeah, I just met you today, but we're going to have a ton of guests from the colliding worlds of hockey, entertainment and pop culture. And you know what, tons of back and forth on all things NHL. Yeah, you're soon going to find out we're not just hockey talk. We had all kinds of random stuff on this podcast. Movies, television, food, wrestling, even the stuff that you wear on NHL. Now you wish you could pull off my short shorts, Ferkie. That's sure to cause a ruckus. Listen to NHL Unscripted with Burke and demers, the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What's going on, everybody? This is Justin Pennock from John Boy Media, the host of the Football Today podcast alongside Bobby Skinner and Chris Rose. We're rolling three times a week, on Mondays, on Wednesdays, on Fridays. Happy holidays from me, Michael Rapaport, and my gift to you is a free subscription to the I Am Rappaport Stereo podcast where I discuss entertainment, sports, politics, and anything and everything that catches my attention. I am here to call it as I see it. And there's a whole lot of things catching my eyes these days. Here's a clip from one of my favorite episodes. You are not a real fighter. You will never be discussed anywhere in boxing history, ever. Fake Paul. The movie is the Apprentice and the movie is about young Donald Trump and his apprentice. Roy Cohen. Real character, obviously both real characters. It kind of has a Scarface vibe to it, which I thought was very interesting. Listen to the I am Rapaport stereo podcast on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast. And wherever you get your podcasts, give a little bit. I see what you did there, Sam. I think Ohtani's generous for the record 500. If he's an essential billionaire, it's equivalent of $50 just to keep the math. If you made $100,000 just to keep the math simple. Live from the Tyrack.com studio, rapid radios are the walkie talkie for the playoffs. Playoffs, playoffs. They're pushed to talk offering national LTE coverage. No subscription ever. Remember to stick around because Dallas Goddard's on the show today. We got five on it. We're going to do that in just a few moments. 87799 on Fox, if you want to get in on that. And weekend hobnobbing what you need to watch this weekend. But let me make one last point about the Shotani controversy. Okay, yes, something's better than nothing. But I'm also discussing this because it is a story today. There's a lot of speculation on whether or not he's a cheapskate for only don't. Only donating $500,000. Only listen to yourself when he just signed a $700 million contract. I get it. It's deferred. But he has all these other endorsements and everything else going on. It looks a little weak. It does. It's more than I've done. So again, call me a hypocrite, I don't care. But I don't make what he makes. But just to avoid people from talking about it, I think it was a bad move. You know how people are. You know what the story's going to be to not have the foresight and wherewithal to say I'm almost a billionaire. I'm going to give $500,000. I play in this city. It's my city. There's other people from other cities giving more than I'm giving. People are going to have something to say. Let me just round it up to a million. Listen. And then you can say what Monty said before. Well, people are still going to have something to say. I have an argument on both Sides, to wrap it up, the guy to the right of you, bearded bonehead. Spot. Hey, Spot. Present. He was calculating as if Ohtani was just given $770 million cash money, like, just right into his checking account. Straight cash, homie. Straight cash, homie is not what it is. So it's not as much as you think. But there is something about reading the room. And I'll give this guy to the right of me credit, Steve Cavino. When you go to a wedding, he's right. We'll ask each other. Because Kavino and I, people always consider we're in the same tax bracket. We work together. Yo, we're going to the wedding. What are you giving? 200. 500. What are you. What are you giving? Yeah, let's not pretend we don't know how people act. So if I'm asking Kavino, what are you giving for the 200? 500, 400. If we're discussing that if he sees Beyonce given two and a half million. If he sees other celebrities given a million. Right. He should have then. By the way, la, Beyonce's a Texas girl. You know what I mean? But you know the guy. This ain't Texas, right? Hey, guys, really quick. Bud in Austin couldn't stay on the line, but he's trucking outside of Austin right now in a big rig geared out. Big rig. To let you guys know that he just read these numbers. In LA county, there are 43 billionaires and 213,000 millionaires. That's disgusting. Presentation presents 10 million people in LA County. 10 million people in LA County. And a few after our next cut. And you're listening. Here's a good counter. Rich. Here's something to support you, actually. Yeah, I guess this is points. You Mark Zuckerberg. We all know Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Meta, Facebook, whatever his. I just had to look up his net worth $213 billion. He only donated 2 million of his personal money to the wildfire that deserves a larger. And then Meta. What a miser. Which is worth God knows how many billions. Meta also donated $2 million to various charities. I mean, it's still millions, but I know it's Spot saying. Would you ever see those calculations on Instagram or Facebook? Or remember Tick Tock that. That app that used to be around? Yeah. Remember Tick Tock? I think it's still around for a second. For two more days. Yeah. You know when they would say, like, here's a million. The difference between a million and a billion. Zuckerberg should honestly be donating, like, $100 billion. What was it again? A million is 11 days and a billion is 31 years. Yes. Ridiculous. It was like Rogan's show had that. Yeah. And it was amazing. Blew my mind. So it's time. We got five on it. You ready to win some money? Yes. Let's do this. And I'm gonna donate. Yeah. Starting. Starting last week, all of us on the show are picking each NFL playoff game this postseason. Wait, if you get your four for four, you're gonna. Yep, I'm donated. Same here. It's my city. There you go. And I'm a thousandaire. We are including one CNR listener each week this weekend. John. West Palm Beach. We're going to be looking at your picks as well. Welcome to the show. What's going on, fellas? What's up, John? Here's what we did. We go around the room, we go over each game, make a little chart. You pick all four games against the spread last week, six for six. I didn't anticipate anyone hitting all six. But when I tell you five out of us, we're out after game one because we all picked the Chargers. So, yeah, we do a little better this week. We try make it a little exciting. Yeah. Thank you, Texans. All right, let's go to the first game. Divisional weekend kicks off Saturday with the Texans at the Chiefs. They've been rested, but how rested? Because he's a new dad. Patrick Mahomes might be having those late nights that Danny knows about. Baby's crying. Little golden, you know, Golden Ray. What's the line right now in this game? We got Chiefs by eight and Danny G. I'll start with you, my man. What do you think? Chiefs by eight this Saturday. The Chiefs against the spread in 20, 24 are seven, nine and one. They do not do well against the spread. And besides that, I picked the Texans and one with them last weekend. So I'm going to go. Houston. That's too many points. Houston. Steve Kavino. I'm going Chiefs on this. What else is when they. Yo, hey, Chief. Defy the odds. And this is when they play big and they score a lot of points and put the Texans in their place. Chief Rock. And number one, Chief Rocka. Oh, I was so torn going back and forth on this game because there's a part of me that, you know, I feel like I overuse the phrase backdoor cover, but I just feel like. Where do you overuse it? In the bedroom? I just feel like this reeks of a game that's, you know, 20 to 7 Chiefs. And last minute, there's a BS touchdown by Houston. You said that about the Buffalo Bills Denver game, and it didn't turn out that way. So you know what? They smoked him. I'm going to go with Kavino. My instinct originally was I'm loving CJ Stroud, but that's my heart. Travis Mahomes, they got something to prove. Andy Reid, this is the playoffs. Playoffs, yeah. They may. This is when they step up, they may kill the Texans. So I'm going Chiefs. And you say that Mahomes is tired. I honestly think, like, he's rejuvenated and excited about being a dad again. He's like, I did it for Golden Mahomes, did it for my daughter. Yeah, yeah, he's all excited again. I think he has baby puke on him right now. The reality is playoffs. When you have a newborn, sometimes you want to get out of the house. Yeah, he's excited. Monty, what do you think, buddy? This game is tough because both of you said stuff that I also feel, but at the same time, Danny G. Like, the Chiefs have been the Chiefs this year, and it hasn't been the best Chiefs team, barely winning games, literally doinking off of, you know, the. The. The field goal against the Chargers. Thank you so much. Thank you very much, Donkey, very much. Whoa. I'm gonna take the Texans to cover. All right. I'm gonna take the Texans to cover. Chief Swan. Texans cover. Samuel. Gotta stay consistent here. I picked this same outcome on the Doug Gottlieb show previously before cnr. I will take the Chiefs to win, but the Texans plus the points. Texans. So you're saying Texans okay. Against the spread. Texans. Okay. Cool. Thank you for making it complicated. Spot. What's up, man? Never bet against the Chiefs. That's how I. How I live my life. You come up with that mantra 10 seconds ago. 10 seconds ago, actually, I did. Mahomes just had his third kid. Why not have a three peat? How about that? And I know for a fact that Mahomes gave accolades to his wife not only for pushing out the kid, but for letting him watch football during the birth of their child. Which means he's focused, he's in the game. He's ready to go for this week. Cheaps win. Are you saying he's motivated? How? Like in Rocky 2, Adrian had the baby and it was like, yo, for you. I get that vibe. I do nothing else to play for. And John, we'll wrap with you. West Palm Beach. What do you think, bud? All right, fellas. I've got. I'm going to take Casey. Given the eight, I think it's going to be a 2410 game. Nice. I think Andy Reid's going to out Coach D'Amico. All right. Yeah, Both good coaches, but Andy Reid's been there, done that many a times. All right, let's move it along. Saturday night Commandos, the Commanders, formerly the Redskins, they've had glory in our childhood. They haven't had glory in a while. This is their first playoff win last week in what, almost a decade. So Commanders going hot into Detroit, where, you know, Eminem is going to be on hand. They got the rest. They're motivated. Fifteen and two. They're favored by nine and a half. Let's start with Kavina. Nine and a half Lions. You know, Jaden Daniels is so exciting, and it sounds and feels foolish to say that the Lions are going to cover, but I think they will because they're at home and I think their defense is strong enough to contain them. 3020 covers that. That score in my head stands out. I'm sticking with the Lions. But you know what else stands out to me? 30, 23 or an upset. I like the Commanders. I think that 15 and 2. We've seen this before in the playoffs record. It doesn't mean anything when you get to this point. It's who's hot, who's playing well at the time. Some may. Maybe the Lions win, but they haven't played in two weeks. They come back. I don't know. I'm going. I'm going. Commanders to cover. Let's go to John in West Palm. What do you think, John? I like Detroit. I think Dan Campbell, the way they play, they're getting healthy. I don't think Jayden Daniels is going to have it this year. I think he's going to fizzle out. I'll take the Detroit lane. The nine and out go to Spotty boy. That's my spot. Always says I never bet against, you know, I mean, I did pick the Lions to go the distance before the season. And you saw Wicked last night. I saw Wicked last. That's great. Cowardly. Nothing cowardly about these Lions, I'll tell you that much. I would. Yeah, I agree. I think. I think the lion, as much as I think the Commanders are really pushing into the postseason. And they're fun to watch. Fun to watch. I do think that the Lions will edge out the spread, so I'm gonna go with the Lions. Danny Dre. Yeah. Jaden Daniels came through for me last week with my Commandos. Pick. But you know what? The. At home, especially the Lions, just too powerful of a team. I could see him winning by like 13 points. They score at will now. Guessing my pick now. I'm sticking with the commanders, monsieur. I actually think the commanders have been a team that scores all season. Like they're gonna score, you guys. The Lions are gonna win, but nine and a half is a lot. They'd have to win by 10. I don't see that happening. I'm taking the commanders against the spread and Iowa Samuel. Make it as confusing as possible. No, I'm just giving you the proper betting lingo. I think. Yeah, I will lay the points of the lions. They go 9.5. All right, let's move to Sunday, this game. You know, let's keep in mind, from what I'm reading, and you know me, I read headlines, so the accuracy is never that. You read cereal boxes and billboards. Listen, you're the guy that sends me articles. I'm like, did you even read this? The Rams are going to Philly and they're saying it's going to be cold and maybe snowy. So the conditions could play a factor. And right now we got it at Philly, minus six and a half. Eagles at home. Saquon in the snow, in the cold. They're saying it's going to be frigid. Let's start with Danny G. This is where the Rams momentum hits a wall. I saw this stat this morning. The LA Rams have not lost. They haven't lost to the Eagles in the playoffs in 75 years. Wow. But I think that stops on Sunday. So Eagles, I could see them definitely covering those points. Monsieur, what do you think? I think it's going to be a tough game for the Rams. I read that Matthew Stafford in snow, cold, rain, games is one in eight. So I am. I am taking the Eagles to. To just win it. Yeah. By more than seven. Well, you know what? I share your sentiments. I feel as though the Rams hot the second half of the year again. I always say, don't look at the record. 10 and 7 means nothing. They started like trash, they got hot. They played great in the second half, as good as anyone in the nfc. But the party stops in Philadelphia in the cold. It really does. Yeah. So I'm going. Eagles covering. They win by a tutty. They win the spread. Yeah. Dan Camino, you know, guess what? You bet against the Rams last week and were wrong about it. So Johnny. I wouldn't bet against them is to do it for Johnny mentality. You go with the Hot hand. I'm going Rams on this. Covering the six and a half. Yeah, they're clicking at the right time. They played big. They're playing for LA again. We proved that. When you have a little something extra to play for, you step up. And they did that. Do it for Johnny. Do it for Johnny. Do it for la. Do it for Johnny. Let's go to John in West Palm. John, what's your take on this one? I think it's gonna be low scoring game. I like the Rams. I don't think it's going to be a high scoring game. I think the Rams cover. All right. I like it. Six and a half. Yep. Spotty boy. I think you could. I can only cash in that. Do it for Johnny Card once. And I think they did it for Johnny. I think that that luck has run out. I like that. You know, I. And let's be honest, everyone's, you know, Ohtani only gave 500,000. No one cares about LA anymore. Oh, man. Yeah, see, I mean, see, I don't know. Story's over. I would say birds will cover. Birds will cover. So I'm going with the Eagles and Sammy, I will take the Rams to cover. Eagles win. Rams cover. Now, I left this one for last, not only because it's the last game of the week, but if you think you have an instinct on this game, you're lying to me, you're lying to yourself, you're lying to everyone. How can you look at this game and be like, I'm very confident with the Ravens or the Bills. This is more of a who do you want to win? And you know, who's going to just play better that day. My instinct is that. But the Ravens are hot and they're slightly better. But then when you throw in the fact that it's in Buffalo, the Bills mafia home field, there's. That equalizes the little edge I would have given the Ravens. Is it a pick them right now? It's a pick them right now. Baltimore is minus one on the road, so the sentiment is that, you know, Ravens should win this game. I'm going Bills. I'm going with my heart. Because I do feel like it's going to be very hard for any team in the NFL this year to stop the Ravens the way they're playing now. But Josh Allen's going to have a magical game. That's my vibe. Let me go next, before I forget my point here, because you said it was a push. You said the Ravens are more talented, but the Bills are at home. The Ravens also have more to lose if they lose, more at stake if they lose. Lamar Jackson, mvp. He has so much more to prove, I think by winning this game. Well, as we said, more on the line. Come Monday, one of those quarterbacks are going to be questioned. Right. Can't they get it done? But I think Lamar Jackson is going to garner a hell of a lot more criticism than Josh Allen. So I think again, you said it was a push advantage again. Ravens more to play for. Ravens, super talented, more weapons. Ravens is my pick. Now let's kick it to Iowa. Sam. I'm going to take the Bills to win this game. Wow. Can you pay my bills? Can you pay my telephone bills? Can you pay my automobiles? Big Destiny's Child fan, I would say. Who knew? Bologna. What's your take? You know, I'm with you. I think it's really like flip a coin. How are you feeling today? I might change my mind tomorrow, but right now I am taking the Bills and I'm just giving them the edge because it's at home. I also think Wesley weather is going to play a factor in here. I know it's cold in Baltimore, but I think it's a little bit different of a cold. Yeah. Lamar Jackson wears that cover. Yes. One time in the cold. And see how much he's running because he. I think he's a little hurt. Didn't he have like a backer, like abdominal? He got hurt last week or two weeks ago. I. I don't think it's going to be. Lamar Jackson said, though. He said, this is serious. We ain't friends. This is serious. Good. That's how most athletes should say. Yeah. I think he looked fired up. I wouldn't bet against him. Yeah, well, I'm not betting against Josh Allen. But you love, you love Buffalo Wings, but you went to college in Maryland. I know what a. What a struggle I'm facing right now. You know what? I think love will. Will triumph overall here. And I think that Josh Allen just being in love, doing it for his future wife. Yeah. To be, I mean, Hallee Steinfeld. They call her the Queen of Buffalo. Queen of Buffalo wings. I'm going to go with the Bills. I've had a good feeling about them. The, the last. You know, it's a great matchup, man. Daniel Gr it is a tight one, though. Danny G. Who closed the door on the Steelers last weekend? Derek Henry. He's going to be the difference in this game. It's so I again, as I discuss this game every second. You could change your Mind. Because I'm like, yeah. How the hell are they going to stop Derek Henry? Coin flip. I agree, Ravens. I'll stick with the Bills advantage. And let's wrap it up with John. And by the way, John, thanks for playing along, man. This is a fun. I got five on it. Yeah, yeah. John, by the way, stay on the line because we're going to send you a swiggy. I appreciate it. Thanks for having me, guys. You guys do a great job. Listen, I'm with db. I like Baltimore. I like King Henry. I don't think the. I don't think the linebackers and the Buffalo defense can stop that center hole. And Henry's just going to crush him. Nice. He's with you, Danny G. And stay on hold. John, thanks for playing along. We appreciate it. We'll post this at Covino and Rich on social media. I'll do it right now. In fact, Monty, you got a quick update in your. What? Yeah, yeah. Thank you, buddy. Make it snappy, like a rubber band sandwich. Yeah, I got you. All right. Speaking about the Ravens and the Bills wide receivers receiver Zay Flowers, doubtful. I mean, he has not practiced since January 4th. Buffalo running back Ray Davis questionable. He's still in the league's concussion protocol. Eagles wide receiver A.J. brown removed from the injury report. He is going to play against the Rams. The Dolphins will play the NFL's first ever regular season game in Spain. Madrid is going to host a matchup next season. The date of the game and Miami's opponent is going to be announced later this spring. And lastly here, guys, Dawn Staley, head coach of the South Carolina women's basketball team, signed a contract extension that's going to keep her at the school until 2030. The new contract contract starts with an annual salary of 4 million with other incentives. The point is, she's going to be the highest paid college women's basketball coach in the history of the sport. Awesome. Good job. You go, girl. Back to you, guys. Thank you, Monsi. We got more Covino, Rich, we got Dallas Goddard coming up and more NFL fun here with C and R. And we'll talk about my dude, Pete Alonzo. Gotta talk. Pete Alonzo. You will never be discussed anywhere in boxing history, ever. Fake Paul. The movie is the Apprentice, and the movie is about young Donald Trump and his apprentice, Roy Cohen. Real character, obviously, both real characters. It kind of has a scarface vibe to it, which I thought was very interesting. Listen to the I am Rapaport stereo podcast on the iHeartRadio app Apple podcast and wherever you get your podcast. Ooh, when Beyonce hung out with the girls before, she said later. Yeah, well, guess what? But Michelle Williams probably donated more than Shohei Ohtani did. Stop it. Destiny's Child members who you don't even know probably donated as much. Solange probably donated more money. Yeah. On Fox Sports Radio, I'm Covino. Welcome to the world famous cnr on fsr. Danny g super producing on the phones at 87799 on fox Iowa. Star, Star. NFL Playoff edition. So before they were stars, name that player. Before they was a, they was a star. It was a star. And of course we talked about Bob UK and Rich gave his picks. That's on fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. Bob Euchre, huh. Seen a lot of great clips of him around social media. In fact, I retweeted something on X. You see that clip float around of Bob Euchre when he was on Johnny Carson back in the day? No, I didn't say, honestly, check it out. It's fantastic. I mean he, I'm not surprised. He was such a personable guy. He had such great timing, his comedic timing. I was just going to say that he was, he starts out by showing a picture of him celebrating in the locker room and Johnny Carson's like, ah, I see this here is after a game. He goes, no, that's how I get ready for the game. Like everything he said was just a great timing line. Did you guys see Norm MacDonald on Letterman probably about 10, 15 years ago talking about Euchre? I did. That was great because he had Norm had Dave and stitches and he was doing this impression of Bob Euchre and it just. Norm park. Norm. Norm MacDonald is just, he just had such a, you know, he. Sam, I don't know if you know, he was one of my favorites. Norm. I, I love Norm. His offbeat tone was so Great. Fantastic. All right, listen, we're going to talk some Pete Alonzo. We're going to talk some NFL. We got Dallas Goddard on the show this hour. This is gonna be a lot of fun, but I want to throw one thing out there. You talk about clever advertising. Remember, back in the day was like, super bowl ads were millions of dollars, and they still are. But it was the. The idea of waiting to see. Yeah. What ad was going to be right. That was a whole culture change. Was it with social media? I saw something today, and I thought it was pretty clever. In Times Square, there's a huge Coors Light. Again, this is not an ad. Huge Coors Light billboard in Times Square. There's also a huge Heidi Montag billboard. That is true. And it says, Coors Light, mountain cold refreshment. They spelled refreshment wrong. It says mountain cold refreshment. How do you know that wasn't that on purpose? Was. There you go. They reach out to Coors Light, and Coors Light's like, oh, my goodness. Then the whole sentiment for a minute was, how do they let this happen? And they said, sorry, we were tired. We just. When we printed that ad, we had a case of the Mondays. Everyone's like, case of the Mondays. In promotion of their new Coors Light. Case of the Mondays. They're selling a case of beer the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday because they said it's the most Monday of all Mondays because we all have to go back to work. So this whole misprint just showing you people, that's part of the campaign. Always trying to find clever ways to get people talking because everyone's like, what idiots refer to. Oh, they knew all the grammar police would come after him. That's ridiculous, though. People do it, Danny. That's why Rich has the no regerts tattoo on his back. I was him. Just so people talk about it. No joke. There are people designed and doing this on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook. You ever see someone say or do something. Something wrong to just draw attention? No. No misspelled meme captions. I hated it. It's ridiculous. It makes me angry. On TikTok and Instagram, I mean, everyone knows this, but you want engagement. So every time someone says something wrong. No, but every time someone says something wrong, if there's hundreds of comments like, no, you idiot, the Ravens didn't win the super bowl with Lamar Jackson. That's just hundreds of engaged responders. That's why Rich has the ancient Chinese symbol for numbskull tattooed on his back. He tells people his wisdom, but it's not numbskull. All right. Hey, Pete Alonzo, is he getting the raw deal? We'll talk a little more. NFL and Dallas Goddard gonna join us this hour as the Eagles get ready to play the Rams. And you know what I'm gonna do? I'm post our picks at Kobe. Don't Rich. For we got five on it this Saturday and Sunday. As they say, the best weekend of NFL football. Divisional weekend. More Kavino and Rich next. Hang tight.
