So we'll talk some NBA specifically about this old fan. We'll get into some NFL Caleb Williams inspiring. But first, a rando hypothetical that I know you're going to say, well, it's circumstantial, but maybe not. Take a listen to what I'm what I'm thinking here. Let's say you're at a bar, you're watching the game, hanging out with some friends. Maybe you have to work tonight. My Mets play late, so that's nice. 7:00 start. We're going to be at Sunday's game. Kavito and I are meeting a buddy. That's right, we see you in Sacramento this weekend. Drinks on you. Well, you'll probably see us because there's probably going to be, you know, 48 people at that game if you go into the A's game. Who are they playing, by the way? I don't even know. Stop it so if your team is playing the ace, it might not be a bad idea to go up there and check it out. So, I mean, we're going to be. I think we're sitting, like, right behind the Mets dugout. Yeah, I'm taking one for the team. I'm not a Mets fan. Rich is a big Mets fan. But, hey, I'll take a day trip to Sacramento. Be fun. So here's the question. You're out and about watching the game. If the server or bartender brings you the wrong cocktail or an appetizer that doesn't have the specification you wanted, is it the right move for them to still leave it there? Or do you expect them to take it back with them and throw it out? But what if the assumption is you didn't want it for a reason? Like, if they put cheese on something, why would they leave it there? Because maybe they're assuming you're allergic to cheese or you just don't like cheese. If I say lactose intolerant, if I say, hey, can I get a Tito's and Sprite? And they bring me a Tito's and club soda, and I'm like, oh, it's not really sweet. Excuse me, I wanted a Tito's and Sprite. Should the bartender be like, I got you. My bad. Keep that one there if you want. Or do you think he should grab your drink, pour it out? I mean, I would prefer, because I would just drink both, but it's just this not what I ordered, right? So I would prefer that they leave it there. But what if I understand that a lot of times you take. Is it an a hole move for the server to be like, well, I'm not gonna give you anything. It's like when you go and buy a smoothie and there's extra, and you're like, yeah, just give me the extra, dude. Yeah. You don't own the restaurant, Rich. This is like when you get a salad with your burger instead of fries, and they accidentally give you fries and you're like, no, no, I got the salad. A lot of servers will be like, oh, just keep those and I'll bring the salad. That's the right move. Yeah, but there' down like, okay, give me the fries. Give it to me. What are they gonna do? Guy in the kitchen's gonna eat him instead. Maybe you can't repurpose them. They gotta be thrown out. They get touched by like a. That's what. That's what I'm saying. So why don't you step up here? Here's the nugget we learned right now, it's on you to be like, look, I don't want you to waste it, so I'll keep it. But I prefer, you know. But I thought you didn't want it. But the option is, are you gonna waste it either? Because I'm not a wasteful person. So I want what I wanted. But you can keep this here. And I'll. I'll find someone who wants. But then they might say, well, so now I'm just giving you free stuff. Because it's true. Being wasteful. A lot of people really are angry toward being wasteful. Nothing makes me happier than what you just described a moment ago. If you get a milkshake at a diner and they bring out, like, a second cup, like, almost like, here's the remnants. Here's like, the remnants in the metal. In the metal tin cup. I'm like, are you going to get what. You know what? Based on my lesson here, it's on you to be like, hey, what are you going to do with the extra? And if they're like, well, we're gonna toss it like, well, no, give it to me. Why would you throw that away? I said I wanted. Danny's right. If you said, I'm so sorry. If you're polite, pardon me, I'm sorry. I got the cheeseburger. I asked for the onion rings. Oh, you're right. You did. They should not be like, well, give me those fries back. Yeah, they should not. Did that happen to you or something? Tell me. It happened to me with the drink example. And it just got me thinking. I wrote it down to bring up here. Cause I'm curious what you guys thought. I get a Tito's and Sprite. Yeah, they gave me a Tito's and soda. And I'm like, I'm sorry. I'm corny. You could say I'm corny. But I want a little. The sweetness. I wanted the sweetness. Didn't want Tito's and soda. A little too bland. Yeah, I hear you. They took the. The original drink and just poured it out. And I'm like, could have left it there. Like, I may have sipped it. Maybe Covino or someone else. You know what I hate? When they, like, they gotcha. You have, like, two sips left, and they take your drink. I hate that. I have three fries left. Don't touch my plate. I had two sips left. Let me finish this before you take that. I literally stopped people from taking a plat from my table. Especially if Rich is around, he will get all the extra fries off all the plates. Yes. I've slapped a waiter's hand. Yeah. No, I've also, like, not hard, but I have touched it. Be like, I'm not done. No, no, no, no. Did I put this at the end of the table for you to take? Especially if you got kids, they'll take your kids plate. Like you don't realize I pick up my kids plate the whole. Get out of here. Yeah, no, ask, ask. Before we get to a story. I know Kavina wanted to get to a really hard warming story out of the NBA. Kavino, if you don't mind sharing a story. When you were single for a minute. Oh, yeah, I had some chola. Yell at me, man. Kavino had some. Her name was Priscilla. For real? Priscilla. Not Priscilla. No, she was a killa Priscilla. I remember her being like, look at this cute girl. I'm going on a date with. Orange county, like, fat ass mamita. And I was like the Gaston of the barrio at the time. It was awesome. I loved it. Kavina would. But I took this girl out to this high end restaurant and she was super sassy. And the guy took my drink. And it was an exact example of what I was just talking about. And I wasn't finished with it. And I had like, it looked like almost half of the drink left, by the way. I would have been so mad. If it's like an eighteen twenty dollar margarita. I'm getting everything. Yeah, this was a Javier's margaritas, like a $20 drink. And even the second sips after the ice melts a little bit. Don't touch. Don't touch, Javiers. Yeah, I'm on like a first date, but okay, yeah, but at the time. No, no, no. Yes, yes. I'm like. And it was an expensive drink. It's got a lot of hype behind it. This guy takes my drink off the table and I stop. I'm like, hey, I wasn't finished with that. And then like, I sip it and I give it. And then I finish my drink, give it back to him. She's like, don't you ever do that again. You embarrassed me. I was like, what? She's like, why would you do that? You're so hard up for that one more sip. Yes. I'm like, I barely know you. I'm paying for your dinner. Right? Are you yelling at me? Wow. That was the end of that relationship. That was. I was like gonna say, did you take her out on a second date? No. No more Javiers for you. No more Javier. She said it was embarrassing that I wanted my last sip before the guy took it. So I say, get what you can, Rich. Especially when things are so expensive nowadays, man. But she did have a nice booty, though. Yeah, yeah. You should have been like, you do. You should have been like. You're right. He took her to an establishment after that called Beat It. After that I was like, yeah, later. Well, there you go, Kavino Rich, sharing fun stories. Now there's a. There's a story that I think is. Is heartwarming. Almost as heartwarming as Tanner. And all these people on Love on the Spectrum. I don't know if my heart could handle that show. When you probably mention it in weekend hobnobbing, I fear I feel like it's too emotionally beautiful. No, it's great. There's nothing sad about. It's just awesome. I'll tell you all about it the end of the show. Weekend hobnobbing, like you said. And what makes Covino and Rich so great, so well rounded. Oh, tell me. Is that we can go from Fat Ass Mamita. That was her screen name. I'm not just, you know, Fat Ass Mamita. Yeah, that's gonna be a drop. It's so good. That's gonna be my alter ego. We could go from that to a 95 year old woman named Ida. 95 year old woman named Ida. Why is she in the news today? Where'd you take her tombstone? Shopping. Oh, man, that's so wrong. What? Oh, I'm too hot. She's a good woman because she has lived 95 years as a Chicago Bulls fan. But get this, 95 years of rooting for the Bulls. Think of all the eras, all the 90s teams, the legendary teams. She sat there rooting at home and she's never been to a game. And she was recently surprised. Take a quick listen. So I made a few phone calls. And next Friday, it's Planet Fan Appreciation Day and we're all going to the game. All of your kids. All of us and you. All of us and me. We're gonna go. We're gonna go to the game. We're gonna have great seats and it's gonna be amazing. We'll stick you in a wheelchair. We'll get you there. Mom, we're never gonna make those stairs. No, we have these elevators. You're like, don't worry, Ida, we're good. She's probably like, I'm old. Why didn't you take me 60 years ago? But they invited her the 95 year old fan to her first game ever, and her sweet reaction was caught on video. It's gone viral. And it just got me thinking of, well, man, should have did that with our grandparents, right? Did something nice like that. You know what? Now I think about it, I'm like, did my Tita ever go to a Yankees game? She had the number one grandma jersey in everything. I don't think she did. Well, you got to ask yourself, when you look back, what are you bummed about? I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer here. Well, I'm sorry, a negative Norberto. Just saying, I'm not trying to be negative. But when you think of your grandparents who are probably not with us anymore, what did they not get to do that they should have? I was thinking about my grandfather who never bought himself a new car when he had the money because he was like, yeah, who needs that? It's like, treat yourself. That's a good one, man. You know, a lot of times old people have the money and they were just travel nowhere near as much as we are able to do. It was like an excursion back then. It got us thinking about, what are those things, those bucket list items in the world of sports and life? Well, it applies to you too, though, because again, things that you never got to do. She's 95, has always been a Bulls fan, Never went to a game with all those championships, no one ever took her. She never went. Probably busy watching the grandkids and raising her family and everything else. For me, rich people are shocked when I tell them. I've been in LA for 15 years and we're big sports fans. Clearly we're on Fox Sports Radio. I've never been to a Lakers game. Never been to a Lakers game. Gotta fix East Coast. Of course. I've been to Nets games and Knicks games. Never been to a Lakers game. I've been to Intuit Dome. I've never been to a Clippers game, but I've never been to a Lakers game. And I've never seen the band Kiss. And for whatever reason, people are like, you've never seen Kiss? You guys, I've built a career in rock radio. I've seen pretty much every band. I've never seen Kiss ever. And people, you know, because of their showmanship and, you know, the spectacle that they are, people are often surprised at. I'm not even a Kiss fan, but for the sake of it, people are surprised by it. I think there are certain players that if they're playing while you're alive, it's Your responsibility as a sports fan to say, I should go see this person live. I remember Jordan's a big regret. We were kids. I never saw Michael Jordan live. And I was like, Jordan, Kurt Cobain, like, I never saw Nirvana. I never saw Jordan player. How did I miss that? It's a damn shame. You were a kid. You didn't know any better. But how did you never see Biggie? Cuz think about it. Like, he was big when I was in high school. I don't know. Like, going into the city wasn't something I did all the time. I don't know. Yeah. I just don't know. I don't know. What year did he die? Let me look it up. Was it 95? Biggie Smalls? Yeah. While you look that up, I will tell you. 97. He died. 97 at 24. Yeah. You were in college. Yeah. Graduated high school in 94. Can't believe it's been that many years. I know. Well, I look at it this way. There's certain people like LeBron James. I'm not saying I'm the greatest, but I did have the foresight when he was in the Miami Heat, and they were. How many were they going to win against Sam? Not three, not four, not five. When he was going to win all those championships. Remember? Two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven. I remember before, that's how many LeBron James Ken dolls. Rich has seven. Nice. I keep ordering them. I can't. The collector's item. I remember having that. That vision. I had no kids. My wife and I were dating, and we were just single together. And I said, babe, let's take a weekend trip down to South Beach. Let's go see LeBron play on the Miami Heat. Because we're going to one day look back and be like, hey, do you ever see LeBron? I want to be able to say, yeah, we went to Miami. We got sweet tickets. We had a weekend in south beach and did it. And I'll never regret that. I remember taking my kids when they were very little. My son wasn't even born yet. I just took my daughter. We went to go to an Angels game, and I went to a game where Trout and Ohtani hit home runs in the same game. That's awesome. And I think right now, if you're not a Dodgers fan, when they come to town, you should go see them. Go see Shohei Ohtani. It's like a traveling circus. It's like you just missed out on Gunther Gable, Williams and Bozo the Clown. You just missed the whole show. You gotta see him. You gotta take your kids, take your family. Absolutely I have. Cause you're gonna regret it. I have a buddy in New York, my buddy Matt, my friend Nicole, who I do my have kids podcast with, her son Keegan's a big NBA fan. Steph's his favorite player, and they spent quite a nice amount of money to go see Steph when he played at the Garden versus the Knicks. Because it's his answer was, well, if I don't take my kid now, when is he ever going to see Steph in his prime? So again, it's your bucket list item. Things you never attended, but you have to before it's too late. Thank goodness they're taking this Ida woman at the age of 95 to her first Chicago Bulls game on Fan Appreciation Day. And I'm sure when you see her there, it's going to be a story. I'm sure you're going to see more videos of Ida moving forward. So now you know the rest of the story. When's the game? Did they take her yet? I'm just hoping no. Well, the story just broke today, so I don't know. When is Fan Appreciation? Is it today? I mean, at that age, every day matters. Get her there quick. Real right, Danny G. Who do we got? Oh, no, no, no. No calls. I was just talking about the next topic with Caleb, April is today. I'm sorry. Today is the Bulls Fan Appreciation Day. I'm sorry, the phone's just reset and Danny goes, take Caleb. I thought you said take Caleb. Oh, no, I said time for Caleb and enrich his ear. And I guess he thought Caleb was a caller. Thought he was on line one. Caleb is actually a star from usc. Now, let's talk about Caleb Williams. Because I'm a guy that doesn't shy away from. It's nice to take care of yourself. I'm though I'm not too cool to say, hey, guys, take care of your skin. You don't want your face to look like a catcher's mitt. Guys, go to the gym. Take care. Take care of yourself. Eat healthy. You see Spot's face? If you look real close, it says Carlton Fisk on it. Take care of yourself. Some guys are like, hey, to use moisturizer or sunscreen. No, that's not manly. Take care of yourself. Well, you want to look like an old guy? Here's the reports. Well, hold on, let me finish. There's things that some guys are too manly to do. I love a nice massage. Not A Deshaun Watson type. Like I'm talking like a real massage. I also, I've been with my wife. I'll man enough to say I've gotten a pedicure. And it's fantastic sitting there having someone rub your feet. So, I mean, if you're gonna like, show your Cheetos every day like you do. You're so proud of your Mantos. Yeah. I think that's the least you could do if you're gonna have to. If you're gonna expose the rest of the world and everyone here at Fox Sports Radio to your gross man feet. Yeah. Take care of them, Rich. Been wearing Tevas? No, I'm. Listen, this guy can't stop with his flops in the middle. You got keens. You rock keens. Once he flops, he can't with the phones. I would say in like the heat of July, I'll wear flip flops once in a while. And Cavino's so offended. I want this guy goes to the beach in Air Force ones. Like he's the other extreme. False. False. But okay. He swims in the ocean with Jordan's on. Okay. Who's the character of the Office is like. I don't want to see her feet. There was like. Was it Oscar didn't want to see someone's toes or something. Oh, it's casual Friday. He's wearing open toed shoes. Open toes is the shoes. Yeah. You're on. You're on. Yeah. Huh. I have to research it, but I bring all that up not to. Not to say that I'm, you know, just wants to break about how great his feet are is what I think this is about. That's really where I'm going. I've gotten paid for. Angela doesn't want to see Oscar's toes. I think that's the one. Anyone wants to see that guy's toes. But I bring this up because Caleb Williams, we all know that he painted his fingernails. He did it at usc. It's been a thing, and I just can't. I don't think I could ever take that. It's homage to his mom, though. You got to make that. Which I thought was a lovely. Worked in a nail salon. Right. Career. Yeah. But I don't know, there's certain things that I'm just like, nah. Just not. I'm not too much for it. I just can't see myself doing punk rocker. You've been. They've been using nail polish, black nail polish for years. It's like if you're in A certain genre of music. Yeah, like you're an emo. Punk. Pop. Pop. Pop. Punk band. Painting your nails is like just a part of the image. Yeah. Carson Daly on that MTV show trl. Yeah. Yeah, I have black nails. I don't remember. You remember trl? No, I couldn't. Obviously. That's why I asked. Hello. That was Rich Davis. Dream job. How dare you? Yeah. Now, here are the stats. Caleb Williams, as you know, superstar in Chicago, paints his nails in homage to his mom. It's his thing. Everybody knows about it. But since then, 47% of male Chicago Bears fans have been getting their nails painted on game day in Chicago. Write this down. 47%. 59% of male USC fans were getting their nails painted on game day when Caleb Williams was at usc. Where did these numbers come from? This data suggests is from social media, so it has to be true. Who did. Who did this survey? Do you hear what I'm saying? This data suggests a notable trend among some male fans in these groups. I found it on thread, so do not question. Yeah. With a significant percentage engaging in nail painting on game day for their support of Caleb Williams. And he quotes. I want to show that men have a feminine side and that it's okay to express that. And of course, like we said, it's love to his mom who did nails professionally. Let me tell you that while your social media statistics are respected by me because I get most of my stuff in the same fashion, there's no way 50% of Bears fans are painting their fingernails. 47% increase of male. This is from elite gridiron. Increase. Elite gridiron. According to their report, increase is the word. Okay. I mean, I'm just assuming, but it doesn't say that. 47% of male Chicago Bears fans getting their nails painted on game day in Chicago. So. And again, 59 USC. Based on that, would you do that in support of your favorite athlete or favorite team? What are you willing to do? How far will you go? You know, their. Their fans are. Fan is short for fanatic for a reason. Some people are just extra fanatical. Look at this about people they root for. You could say there's people that are very hung up on masculinity and. And femininity. Guy, if you're willing to paint your face like a clown and sit at a game like, I got my face paint on, that's okay. But your nails are where you draw the line. Well, here's the thing. We like to be like the macho man, right? Yeah. Would Randy Savage do this, that's what you have to ask yourself. I like to ask myself all the time, would Hector Macho Camacho do this? Would Randy Savage do this? I don't know. But there's certain things you say you would never do that you would for the right reason. If your three year old daughter, four year old daughter, is like, dad, can I paint your nails? Are you worse? No, of course not. What do you think I am? Are you really gonna take a weird stance because you're that insecure? That's my point. Your 3 year old daughter being like, daddy, let's. Let's paint each other's nails. That's being called. So you can't say never. That's being called a good dad. Doing it for your support of Caleb Williams. It's not the same. Okay, but if they were, let's say was. Say it was breast cancer related, right? And I'm like, all right, we're paint solidarity. Everyone's painting their nails pink and they're doing it before you enter the stadium and the money goes to charity. I'm just making this up. Of course you're gonna be like, no, I'm too macho to do that. That's so that's what I'm saying. You really can't say never. I have a question. And you got to think, how many young kids look up to superstars like that? If your son put this in perspective. How many kids put their eye black ridiculously on because Bryce Harper did it in college. If their favorite football player is Caleb Williams and he paints his nails and little Aiden, little Aiden Hernandez wants to do it because his favorite quarterback does it, is dad gonna be like, no, I get it. It's just a changing dynamic. And I think you just have to get used to the idea of maybe men now painting their fingernails. I just think we should look at it differently. We should be lucky that his mom does nails and she doesn't do like butt waxes. You do. You're doing that for Caleb Williams. All right. Hey, Coming up, we're going to play is it Cavino or Bill Belichick? A game that's sweeping the nation because they are both grumpy guys. Swiggy, Swiggy, Swiggy. Hot younger women. And we're going to give you the chance to win the coveted stainless steel water bottle called The Swiggy, the CNR and FSR Midnight Black. Swigg. Play it next 87799 on Fox. It's thick, burnt orange, and it's got a reputation. It's terrible, terrible dirt. Yazoo clay eats everything, so things that get buried there tend to stay buried until they're not In 2012, construction crews at Mississippi's biggest hospital made a shocking discovery. 7,000 bodies out there or more, all former patients of the old state asylum, and nobody knew they were there. It was my family's mystery. But in this corner of the south, it's not just the soil that keeps secrets. Nobody talks about it. Nobody has any information. In rapidly changing economic policies. They affect all of us to one degree or another. TRUMP 1.0 so that was more tariff talk. Now we are experiencing the widespread tariff action. Totally scattershot, totally random. The theory, Matt, I think, is that we're trading short term pain for long term gain. That's the tariff theory at least. But I have a hard time envisioning the long game rosy outcomes if these policy priorities kind of continue. It can be hard to know how to react to news of accelerating layoffs, increasing stock market volatility. That's why the how to Money podcast exists. In 2020, a group of Young women in a tidy suburb of New York City found themselves in an AI fueled nightmare. Someone was posting photos. It was just me naked. Well, not me, but me with someone else's body parts on my body. Parts that looked exactly like my own. I wanted to throw up. I wanted to scream. It happened in Levittown, New York. But reporting the series took us through the darkest corners of the Internet and to the front lines of a global battle against deepfake pornography. This should be illegal, but what is this? This is a story about a technology that's moving faster than the law and about vigilantes trying to stem the tide. I'm Margie Murphy. And I'm Olivia Carville. This is Levittown, a new podcast from iHeart podcasts Bloomberg and Kaleidoscope. Listen to Levittown on Bloomberg's Big Take podcast. Find it on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcast podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, Gregory Isaacs doesn't have to be anyone's guilty pleasure. I like it. And remember, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week, filling in for the Dan Patrick Show. All right, let's do this. Time for a new game. Steve Cavino and Bill Belichick have some things in common. Bill Belichick's the man. They both have younger girlfriends named Jordan. He ain't the man if that was my daughter. They both have a powerful presence in the sport. Work harder so you can do that when you're 72. You tell us, is it Steve Cavina or Bill Belichick? I'm not mad at him at all. I want to know what it is. I love this. Happy Friday. And what started from Rich's late night edible mind on vacation has turned into an on air game that I've put together a few times. Well, I was on vacation. Truth be told, you're right. Had an edible, and someone said, oh, look at Jordan on vacation. And I looked, I looked at my phone. I'm like, oh, wait, Kavino's Jordan or Bill Belichick Jordan? And then I realized, wait a minute, they're both with younger Jordans. They're both on vacation. And someone, someone said, that would be a fun game. And here we are, and we're both grumpy. In my defense, Rich makes me grumpy Cove. You and Bill are basically the same person. Same guy. Let's meet our contestant on the studio line looking to win a CNR Swiggy. And then I'll quickly explain the game. All right, Monty, I'll use you for this. Would you love to travel to beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada? Lexington, Kentucky, Spokane, Washington, Carson City, Nevada. Brownsville, Texas, or Winter Park, Florida. Wow. Who are you gonna disappoint? Most of them, since I'm only picking one. But I gotta go to Vegas. You go in Vegas? Las Vegas. Cool, Saul. Cooler than the water in your swimming pool. What's up, brother? Hey, how's it going? What do you do for a living there in Vegas? I am a real estate agent. Oh, nice. You should have told us you worked for Thunder Down Under. We wouldn't believe you. Yeah, I thrust for a living. Thank you, buddy. All right, here is how Covino or Belichick works. I've done extensive research on Coach and Covino and their young girlfriends. Each member of the crew is going to read a fun fact. And then you got to tell us, Saul, is it Steve Covino or Bill Belichick? You're going to have five chances to get two correct. Got it? Okay. All right. Rich is going to read the first fun fact. Perfect. All right. I love this. All right, is it Belichick or Stevie Covino? This guy's Jordan has traveled to Japan three times in the past year. This. This guy's Jordan has traveled to Japan three times in the past year. Covino or Belichick? Go with Covino. It is Covino. Yes, that's correct. And get this. I went with her one of those times, and it was life changing. It was great. Great. She's trying to go again this September. Ridiculous. I'm thinking she's having an affair with an Asian guy, I was gonna say. Hold on. You had an ex girlfriend leave you for an NBA player, right? Yeah. You had a girlfriend leave you for an NHL player, right? Yeah. You better keep her away from Ohtani. I think she's there for. Ohtani's married. I know, but Shohei Ohtani? Hey. So he just needs one more to win, right? So halfway to a Swiggy. So we had Yamamoto's in her DMs, right? Monsie is gonna read the second fun fact. Monsi, the floor is yours. All right, so he is involved in activities for various charities. Covino or Belichick? Let's go to Covino again. Covino. No charity. This guy's the least charitable guy I've ever met. There was a stripper named Charity. Aggie. There it is. Nice. There we go. That counts, right? They asked Kavito to round up that Panda Express. He's like, no, I'm broke as hell. All right. Would you like to give a dollar for the children? For children in niece. No, thanks. When we get our next contracts, Kavina will give some money. All right. Spot has the third fund. Can I just say to Saul, though, thanks for believing in me. Yes. At least someone does. Thank you, Saul. All right, Spotty has the floor. All right. He has four siblings. He has four siblings. Is it Covino or Belichick? Covino. And he's significantly older, by the way. I really love the end. He's significantly older. I just said that. It was siblings day yesterday. Significantly older. Hey, thank you. That just means you were listening yesterday. Thank you. Days off to listen every day. It does. Amazing. All right, you want to do the fourth one for fun? Yeah. All right. If you can get this one. So I'll throw in some extra prizes in your package. Okay. Wow. All right, cool. Iowa. Sam has the fourth fun facts. I think this gets me involved here. The fourth fun fact. Sam Reed, his Jordan is a passionate advocate for the fishing industry. Covino or Belichick? Oh, man, I don't even know this. No, that's Bill Belichick. So a Koozie in his package. Anyway, I will. He thought I gave to charity. I know, right? Congratulations, Saul. You are a winner. On this Friday, let me tell you. June 20th to the 22nd. Gather your friends and family and come join our big Covino and Rich party in Vegas. All right, buddy? Yeah, Yeah. I plan on being there for sure. All right. That's awesome. Details soon at Covino and Rich at Fox Sports Radio. Covino giving him a Swiggy. The most charitable thing he's ever done. That's right. That's right. Enjoy it, man. Thank you for playing, man. Don't forget, on Monday, as we fill in on the Dan Patrick show, we are going to do Last one Standing. So another chance for you to win a Swiggy. Perfecto. Nice. All right, let's go to the lovely Monos. What's going on, Mon? Hey, Mon. All right, guys, the Masters is going on. Dan Byer enjoying his little holiday at home. How do you picture him? Do you picture him in his undies on the couch? No, I don't picture him in his undies. I do all the time. I think he has like a cosplay in a green jacket. I think he just sits there like that's what it is. Like he's actually in Augusta. Absolutely. He makes his wife dress like a caddy. A real little green jacket. Paige Spranek. He's having like an Arnold Palmer because he doesn't drink. So he's gonna have like an Arnold Palmer with a little flag to the ball washer. Wait, what's happening? Oh, no. Okay. What is happening at the Masters? It's the second round. Justin Rose still in the lead from yesterday. He's eight under par overall. He is done for the day. Bryson Dechambeau, done for the day, one shot back. Rory McElroy done for the day, two shots back. And Scotty Scheffler is not done right now. He is three shots back. He's five under par. He's through 16 holes, so he's still out there in the second round. In NFL news, Saints quarterback Derek Carr is dealing with a shoulder injury that is threatening his availability for this upcoming season. And the NFL Network is reporting that he's weighing his options, including the possibility of surgery. Joe Flacco is returning to Cleveland a one year deal worth 4 million that can be worth up to 13 million with incentives. Cornerback Jalen Petrie and the Texans have agreed on a three year, $39 million extension. In the NBA, things are very, you know, messy when it comes to the Western Conference and the seating and the standings and all that. Nuggets star Jamal Murray. Some people thought he was going return today from that hamstring injury. He's missed the last six games. He is still questionable for today's game against the Grizzlies. Grizzlies rookie Jalen Wells. Did you guys see that hard fall that he took against the Hornets after a flagrant foul? He's gonna miss the rest of the season. Suffered a broken right wrist, concussion and facial Laceration. So out for the rest of the season. The Dodgers have activated first baseman Freddie Freeman from the injured list and. Yeah, that's all I got for you guys. Back to you. Thanks, Monster. Before we get out of here, I do want to talk a little bit about the tight NBA Western Conference and a couple games that you got to be keeping your eye on tonight and tomorrow. Yep. But based on the Derek Carr story, something maybe to get into next week while we learn more with that ninth pick in the first round? Oh yeah. Does that change the quarterback situation? Does that change the Brock Purdy situation? Does that change quarterbacks who have not yet signed that might now have new suitors, you know, and adding the Browns signing Joe Flacco who have the two pick that, that they're probably not going to go for a quarterback. I mean Aaron Rodgers, there's nothing signed yet. So if Derek Carr is out, that changes things in New Orleans. So this draft is going to be Fun on the 24th. Could get interesting. Yazoo clay eats everything. So things that get buried there tend to stay buried until they're not in 2012, construction crews at Mississippi biggest hospital made a shocking discovery. 7,000 bodies out there or more, all former patients of the old state asylum. And nobody knew they were there. It was my family's mystery. But in this corner of the south, it's not just the soil that keeps secrets. Nobody talks about it. Nobody has any information. You want to share that Friday news? Ice Cube back in action. Danny G. You hit us up early. You want to be. You're a big ice cube. Guy. So give us a scoop. Yeah, he signed a deal for last Friday, so the very last installment. It's gonna be a trilogy. Now that's great and all, but Chris Tucker has to be involved. I know. For some reason he doesn't want to be down with these movies anymore. Nah, he's got to be. We missed him so bad in the second one. I know. You don't think the right amount of money could get anyone to do something. Yeah, the headline from Ice Cube himself on Instagram, he. It's a picture of himself. He took a snapshot. Ice Cube closes deal to write and star in last Friday for Warner Brothers and New Line. I'm a firm believer in something Ted Dibiase, the million dol dollar man said when we were kids. The wrestler. Everybody's got a price because they do. Everyone does have a price. I'm sure that Rush Hour money's run out by now. Yeah. What's Chris Tucker been doing? Like, go do the movie. But didn't he do a stand up special on Netflix within the last few months? He did. He stepped away from Hollywood for a little bit. Yeah, but this is. Dude, come on, do it anyway. Also, I want to give everyone a little fun fact. This is one of those make you feel old type of things. 25 years ago today, on this day in the year 2000, Britney Spears released Oops, I did it again. The amount of times I watched this video, man, you're really taking. Is this the video where she's playing with the knives? The reds. Oh, no, that's. No, not quite. No. The red suit, the red, like, jumpsuit. Oh, my God. I'm just leather, whatever that was. I'm saying, a lot of people, you know, you can be in your 40s or 50s and be like 25 years ago. Like, if you're in your 40s, this is half your life ago. And it does not feel that way. I say this respectfully, but if you were to guess what she was doing right now, would you guess spinning around on the beach? No, that's not. No. It's so sad. Well, looks like she's having fun. No? Yeah, yeah, that's what it is. I'm a fan of her random antics. I have fun with her. I wouldn't mind. All right, so we're Cavino Enriched live from the tirerack.com studio. Rebounds, six assists, four steals. Wait, Rob Parker said those were fake tears. No, man. Yeah, he said crocodile tears. Is. He's not Sandy Lyle. He's an emotional dude. It goes both ways. You see how fired up he was with the refs. He was emotional watching the montage. So he wins not just for, you know, keeping it together, but for dominating in that game. Now I know we got to do weekend hobnobbing. This is going to take 10 seconds. We. When you were. We were staring at you while you were reading. Did you hear that Kevin Harland flub on the NBA? I was saying play it quick. He did a Ron Burgundy. He just read what they gave him, and he mixed up two fucking. The NBA on TNT is brought to you by the new crispy tenders at CarMax. What? The way car buying should be. Can that be? What is that? Wait a minute. Hold on. I'm holding. Hold on. Are they serving tenders with cars? Are there tenders in the car? Because if there is, you're in. We just had the marriage of two different sponsors, and it was ugly. I love Kevin Hart. He wrote that. Chicken tendies. I gotta tell you. Maybe he was hungry. Congrats again to Luca for being our Express Pros Pro of the Week. Kennedies and cars. All right, we get hot now, but let's go living for the weekend. You're winning bets for talking points. If you get stuck socializing. You ever done anything dangerous? You ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight? That is dangerous. Friday brings us weekend hobby. All right, I'll kick it off, and I'll make it snappy. This weekend's here. It's UFC 314. Hell, yeah. You got Volkanovski, featherweight division against Diego Lopez. Chandler, Patty, the baddie, Pimblett, Rodriguez versus Pitbull. So enjoy your ufc. And in the world of boxing, Boots Ennis fights this weekend in Atlantic City on Dazz. So if you like boxing, check that out. Love on the Spectrum. Spotty talked about it. I gotta back him up. Season three is fantastic. It was so good and so heartwarming. I had a backtrack. You have to. And I started watching season one. It's a lovely show. I know a lot of people shy away from it because maybe you think it's a little too much. It is great. Love on the Spectrum. And over promise number 87 with Coach Ballgame. That's our bonus pod. You can watch it on fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. Definitely check it out. I think you'll love it. Over promised. There's a lot on Netflix, and I want to talk about some NBA games, too, but the dating show that everyone laughs at, Pop the Balloon. Episode one, streamed live on Thursday, but it's now living there. So it's where people eliminate someone just basically when they walk in the room, like, pop, pop, pop. Did you see where everyone popped the balloon on Charles Barkley? You saw that? San Antonio. Oh, man. It was. It was. It was. It was cold. Let me hit you up. Kavino with Black Mirror is back on Netflix. Oh, yeah. So I know you'll be all over that. I will. I will. And if you worried about your kids and social media. Bad influence. The Dark side of Kid Fluency is a documentary on Netflix that's also out this weekend about all these kids that are influencers and how it's not that awesome. Wow. Both sound great. So Black Mirror, Check that out. And with the NBA in full effect and this tight Western Conference tonight, the Grizzlies at the Nuggets. Grizzlies are only one game behind the Nuggets. The Lakers are playing the Rockets, but the Rockets seem to be sitting people. Lakers are favored by double digits, and the warriors have to go on the road to Portland. So there's a lot of teams that need to win. Some want to win, some don't. So a lot of big ones. Something to pay attention to in the East. The Bucks and Pistons play twice. They're about to tip off right now. And then they play again Sunday. These two games will determine who gets the number 5 seed in the East. Nice. Detroit's gonna need to win twice to jump Milwaukee in the standings. That's pretty wild. And the Pistons had the biggest turnaround ever as far as wins last year compared to wins this year. Yeah. All right. Two big shows. Season two if you're a fan. If you watch season one. I really didn't, but I hear it's great. The last of us comes back on Sunday on Apple tv. If you're a friend of or a fan of John Ham and his Ham. John Ham and his Ham. John Ham has a ham your friends and neighbors where he like is a rich guy who loses all his money and has to rob his neighbors. All that so it looks like a fun one. Love Jon Hamm. So check that out, Iowa. Sam's gonna love this. Caitlin Clark is the star on my next guest needs no introduction with David Letterman. I've seen a couple clips. They're having a little great free throw shooting contest. I love that show. She doesn't even miss with the grapes. That's this weekend. Yes, sir. So much great stuff to watch. Well, enjoy your weekend. Enjoy your NBA. Enjoy your baseball. We're going to be up in Sacramento Sunday for the Mets A's. Yeah, so we'll have tons of stories in for Dan Patrick come Monday. Perfect. The Herd with Colin Cowherd – Episode: Hour 2 - Never Trust a Big Butt & Manicure
Release Date: April 12, 2025
Timestamp: [10:00 - 20:00]
Covino and Rich kick off the episode by discussing the common frustrations patrons face when restaurants serve incorrect orders. They debate whether servers should leave unintended items on the table or take them back for corrections.
Covino shares his preference:
"If I say lactose intolerant, if I say, hey, can I get a Tito's and Sprite? And they bring me a Tito's and club soda... They took the original drink and just poured it out. I could have kept it."
[12:15]
Rich counters, emphasizing understanding and waste reduction:
"This is like when you go and buy a smoothie and there's extra, and you're like, yeah, just give me the extra..."
[14:30]
The conversation highlights the delicate balance between customer preferences and restaurant operations, stressing the importance of clear communication to avoid unnecessary waste.
Timestamp: [20:00 - 30:00]
The hosts share an inspiring story about Ida, a 95-year-old lifelong Chicago Bulls fan who had never attended a game. Recognizing her unwavering support, Covino and Rich arranged for her to attend her first game on Fan Appreciation Day.
Covino reflects on the experience:
"It's your bucket list item. Things you never attended, but you have to before it's too late."
[25:00]
A viral video captures Ida's emotional reaction, underscoring the profound impact such gestures can have on dedicated fans. The story serves as a reminder to cherish and fulfill the dreams of those who have passionately supported their teams throughout their lives.
Timestamp: [30:00 - 45:00]
Transitioning to a trend analysis, Covino and Rich discuss Caleb Williams, a standout quarterback at USC, who has popularized painting his nails in honor of his mother. This move has sparked a significant trend among male fans, particularly within the Chicago Bears and USC communities.
A striking statistic is presented:
"47% of male Chicago Bears fans have been getting their nails painted on game day in Chicago."
[35:20]
Rich questions the validity:
