And after the show podcast is up and running. Danny G. Hill lodies each hour and a best of and yesterday I know there's a lot of action because of the NFL draft NBA playoffs. If you missed over promised our bonus podcast. It was a lot of fun. We had 30 minutes with the 1 minute man KFC from Barstool, Kevin Clancy. Really fun hang. So that is available right now wherever you get your pods or on the fox Sports Radio YouTube page.
Danny G
Yeah, I missed that and the draft because I was watching the Connors finale last night. Just kidding.
Rich Davis
That was two nights ago.
Danny G
Was it two nights ago?
Rich Davis
And it ends with what? Dan Connor looking at the camera, he's like, good night America.
Danny G
I just saw all the highlights.
Rich Davis
What happened to my wife, Roseanne? Yeah. Let me tell you, I'm not, you know, I'm not vouching for Roseanne. I'm sure she said some dumb things over the years, but when she left that show, I thought they had two weeks tops. They dragged that crap on for years. Like the office. Yeah, yeah.
Danny G
Who else was watching it? Man, I never heard A peep about that show. But again, lots of fun stuff to get to. We'll tell you what you need to watch on Weekend Hobnob, the Connors finale.
Rich Davis
I did see it was trending because apparently every main character other than obviously Roseanne is in the living room, and they all say, like, good night. Like, they all leave, and then it's.
Danny G
Just John Goodman there, and then he says, good night. He looks at the screen, he breaks the fourth wall.
Rich Davis
Breaks the fourth wall with that. They still have that same blanket on the couch, huh?
Danny G
I guess.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Danny G
That thing must smell. I think it must stank. The stank. Stank. Stanky. So your observations wrapping it up, everything that you observed last night are NFL draft version of things that made you go, hmm. I said the long Runway, the furniture store they were sitting in, and they had to run all the way, tap the logo. Tyler Booker stood out. Danny G pointed that out, that he was prancing through the hall. 12th pick of the Cowboys. But Tyler Booker running through stood out to me. And no Shador, which we're going to talk about in a minute. But who else do we got here to wrap it up?
Rich Davis
We got Sean and Sacktown. Sean, what's up, my friend?
Israel Gutierrez
Just real quick, fellas, man, thank you for keeping me off to a break, too. Real quick. I think you guys can't echo enough how great Danny G's Raiders have had this offseason. Man, I thought picking up John T. Was the perfect ad. I know a lot of my Raider buddies up here in NorCal were just relieved they didn't reach with Shador Sanders, which would be a total Raider thing to do in the past. So you got Pete Carroll, you get an O line up there, and me, I think they got to make them for a little playoff underdog this year, fellas. Y'all keep it. Y'all keep it rocking, man. I'll be up here with Rob Parker catching the A's game, man. We'll report.
Rich Davis
Nice, though. That's a great place to check out a game. So enjoy. Genti to the Raiders. I think that's a great fit and.
Danny G
A great night for the Short Kings, because what is he, like, five, nine, tops? He's a small dude, man, but he's built like a brick.
Rich Davis
I mean, I'm just repeating what Danny said months ago, but it's so true. You said he's. He's. He's ripped like DK Metcalf, but he's a tiny bird. He's tiny. Like, he's like, he.
Israel Gutierrez
They said the way it was described to me if you know who Napoleon Kaufman, former Raider running back, super fast, right? Yeah, he has that speed. But then like Bo Jackson, he could run guys over because he's so cut and big. So even though he's a short guy compared to other NFL players that doesn't show on the field, man, he's like a Saquon Barkley type freak.
Rich Davis
Like Cove said a big night for short Kings. I did think it was cool though. You know a lot of times when there's like product placement, you roll your eyes and like oh, look at this trash. Like it's like eye rolly. Yeah, I thought the lids mirror was a cool thing I did. I thought it was a really cool way to incorporate. You know how I like red carpet. Sometimes they'll have like the shoe cam and women are like what shoe is she wearing? Watching the guys grab the hat, they change the logo of the pedestal and just watching the guy smile putting on his new hat, I thought that was a really cool, I guess you would say natural way to incorporate a sponsor.
Danny G
Incorporate the sponsor but also see a little side of their personality.
Rich Davis
I think that's how they put on their hat.
Israel Gutierrez
Yeah.
Danny G
How happy they really were, you know. Yeah. Added some fun to it for sure.
Rich Davis
Oh, speaking of happy, I thought another observation. The fans of Green Bay that were there when Matthew golden got picked, I thought the owner would the fact that he admitted like for the first time in like decades we went with a wide receiver. Wide receiver receive. You take a listen with a 23rd.
Daniel Jeremiah
Pick in the 2025 NFL Draft the 13 time world champion Green Bay packers.
Rich Davis
For the first time since 2002 draft a wide receiver, Matthew golden, wide receiver. And at that point Aaron Rodgers like yeah, I know. For the first time since 2002 you0 know also happened at that point like 3/4 of the crowd left. Cause they're all like local Packer fans. Like it's going about 10 o'clock now. We got to get up for work.
Israel Gutierrez
Tomorrow so we're going to head out.
Rich Davis
I thought the, I thought the cool part of that was when he then grabbed the mic and he's like yo, we're going to say Green Bay on three. Are you ready? One, two, three. And the whole crowd Green Bay. So I mean it's got to be cool to be drafted in the home, in the home stadium in the home city.
Danny G
No doubt. Yeah, absolutely. It doesn't get bigger than that. So a big night. Lives were changed as we discussed yesterday. The franchises, stars were changed Any hotties?
Rich Davis
I didn't see any. There was no, like, girlfriend, you know.
Danny G
I thought so much.
Israel Gutierrez
I thought, oh, there was a WNBA player that was with Pierce supporting him.
Rich Davis
But yeah, I thought, maybe I'm into like middle aged women now. I thought Jackson Dart's mom was in great shape for. For a mom. Did you see her? Was that his mom who looked like she was like Ms. Crossfit. Did you see her?
Danny G
I did. I know. I assume.
Rich Davis
I assume it's his mom. Right.
Danny G
But I don't know for sure.
Rich Davis
Clear. The family stays in shape. Yeah, I assumed his dad was the bald guy and the mom was the, like the in shape woman. I could be wrong. Maybe.
Danny G
What did you notice about Shador and his body language? I think he. Everything he said afterward, I respect it. He wasn't pouting about anything, which was nice, you know, but it had to be embarrassing for him and the family.
Rich Davis
Well, as you say, humbleness. And then your mom will correct you and say, steven, you idiot, it's humility.
Danny G
Maybe, I said, but maybe that's what he needs. Maybe that's a blessing in disguise.
Rich Davis
Colin Cowherd on the Herd today.
Israel Gutierrez
Who?
Rich Davis
You know, the face of our network. Yeah, I think we can only do with Mike Stars. Colin Cowherd went on a pretty cool rant. So I said I just wanted to pull 10 seconds of this. He talked about perhaps prime time and his kid. Humility is a thing and you really have. He hasn't played one game in the NFL and what was the sign say in his draft room? Like legendary.
Danny G
Yeah, legendary.
Rich Davis
Legendary.
Danny G
Well, it's part of his motto.
Rich Davis
Yeah, I know, but take a look.
Danny G
At chain and everything.
Rich Davis
Colin, earlier today. Can we just go back in society where hard work matters and humility's not uncool, is humility the worst thing? You gotta put legendary everywhere. How about you play a game? 1. Just give me one game and then you can put legendary all over your house. I don't care. One game. He hasn't played one game in the National Football League. And there is something. Listen, no one else had their own room, right? Everyone else was either with their family on, you know, crappy recliners at home, or, well, the model hanging backstage. He.
Danny G
In fairness, it's like a family sort of model that he's running with. And the motto was be legendary, but he's wearing that legendary chain. And legendary has become the model. But it's be legendary. And it's meant to emphasize his aspirations to achieve greatness. All aspects of life, football and personal Life. So it's like a, it's almost like a family mantra.
Rich Davis
I get it.
Danny G
But, and, but I totally understand what. And Colin's saying too. And that's exactly what we were saying prior to this with maybe he rubbed people the wrong way. I mean, there was a lot of buzz about him being a little too cocky and a little too big for the moment.
Rich Davis
Trust me, prime is a little sensitive about it. Did you see how he went at Dan Orlofsky? Dan Orlovsky has been a big fan all along. He criticized one little thing, like maybe this is why he's dropped down. And prime went at him on social media like, yo, I thought we were, you know, I thought we were together and I thought you had our back.
Danny G
And Orlovsky's a nice dude. He seems like a fair guy. I mean it's fair to speculate.
Rich Davis
Yeah, right.
Danny G
That's. Why didn't he go and we heard a lot of buzz about him being cocky and we talked about the interview process. We know the guy's got potential. We know what he's capable of. You know, he has the potential to be great. You know, what his dad did. That doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Rich Davis
Yeah, but. And Mel Kuiper had number one, right.
Danny G
What we don't know is the interview process and how he rubs people or how he comes across.
Rich Davis
Well, let me ask you, if some kid came in here, you know, it's, I hate to say it, but we're not kids anymore. Some 20 something year old kid comes into Fox Sports and he's like, yo, I'm going to change the culture here. I'm the man that can be interpreted a yo, I like his fire. I want him part of this team. Or who the F do you think you are? So it really is in the ear of the beholder, the eye of the beholder.
Daniel Jeremiah
Let me ask you guys this because this is one of my thoughts. In a league that is so dependent on quarterback that we saw it in this draft where Cam Ward's number one.
Danny G
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
Who's the eighth best prospect by Daniel Jeremiah on this draft board? Throughout the draft process we've heard that the six quarterbacks that went last year all would have gone before Cam Ward, you know, in this draft.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
To what point is it that? It's just he's not up to that level. Like there have always been quarterbacks to that point. And I completely agree. Like there are things that can rub a team the wrong way. And if you're 50, 50 about someone. But I just feel it's such the total package. And if he can't play and there everything else comes with it, then you're going to fall. Like teams weren't even willing. Tennessee took a risk in taking Ken Moore because they feel they need a quarterback. Nobody else wanted to do that in the first round. Outside the Giants trading up to try to get Shador. I mean, at some point you can point to everything, but you got to look within Dan.
Rich Davis
That's a great point. Cause we've talked about how, hey, a guy that's been in the league one or two years, that has sort of struggled, why are we quick to write him off and automatically think just because someone's in the draft this year, like you said, they ranked last year six QBs that got drafted ahead of Cam Ward, who went number one. Dude, when you saw Pittsburgh pass on him.
Danny G
Yeah.
Rich Davis
And just really fun when they pass.
Danny G
On him, I immediately thought, well, man, they must be banking on Rogers Eggs. Must be all. All in that basket.
Rich Davis
But also fundamentally like to think we have other needs at other positions and we don't think Shador is the guy. If you're taking a non. When I say sexy position, if it's not a quarterback, running back or wide receiver, when your team picks an O line or. Or, you know, I think it's rusher.
Daniel Jeremiah
I think.
Danny G
Absolutely.
Rich Davis
It shows that the team is thinking bigger. Right.
Danny G
If you think on the positive side of things, though, maybe that's exactly what Sanders needs, which is a reality check. Right. And it's the flash. And it really benefits him in the long run because it forces him to step up in every way. Some humility, some. Some extra work.
Rich Davis
It's the flashy pick versus the realistic pick.
Danny G
Yeah.
Rich Davis
Sensible pick. And I've joked with you about how in baseball, you know where that always happens when the team has a managerial opening and the team always wants the new manager to be like a former player everyone liked. And it's like that. Why do we always think that that's the guy that's going to be able to lead your team? Every franchise in baseball manager gets fired. You know what they say, yo, is there someone from our World Series winning team from like a decade ago or so that could lead this team? That's the pick that, like, if today, if the Steelers had chosen Shador, we would all be talking about Pittsburgh then the Steelers today. But they said, you know what? That's not what we need in this moment. And again, humility or not.
Danny G
Hey, humility or not, everybody's talking about him. So he does have that going for him.
Daniel Jeremiah
Right.
Rich Davis
Is there a part of you that says you do it to yourself? But hey, he accepts that responsibility and that pressure. Because I said there's two places people were last night. Right. They were all backstage and what looked like an Ashley Furniture warehouse. Yeah. Chilling out together or they were at home with their families on, you know, middle class family recliners. Shedor was the one guy that had a special setup, a party room. I mean, aren't you already now at that, in that moment, isolating yourself in a weird room.
Israel Gutierrez
He needed a soundproofed room and a sound man for his concert. He put on in there.
Danny G
So that's the thing, and that's what rubs people the wrong way a little bit. But that's also who he is. But maybe this is what he needs and this is what puts him where he needs to be. So, like we said, a blessing to the noise.
Israel Gutierrez
Or does he just not care because he heard all this going into the draft and he did rub some teams the wrong way in the interview process. But to DB's point, when you look at his numbers and which teams he played against, it wasn't really comparable to Jackson Dart because of the competition Jackson Dart went up against. And so, Rich, I saw a great article last night that said his numbers match more closely to Brock Purdy than Jackson than to Jackson Dart. So, I mean, it's not that Shadors can't be a great player. He's a great athlete. And like your boy said, even though they're coming down on Orlovsky right now, he's the one that said I think he has elite field vision and he's a great athlete. We just don't know enough about him because of the competition and the bad O line that he had.
Danny G
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we talked about that. He's hard to evaluate. It's like a nice way of saying he's a. He's an empty fajita. All sizzle, no. No substance, no meat fajita. You know, it's just a question mark.
Israel Gutierrez
Like, you just don't know.
Rich Davis
I would call my son a fajita.
Danny G
But I'm not saying he's an empty fajita. I'm saying that he's a lot of flash. It's like when that waiter comes out with that sils and fajita, everybody looks.
Rich Davis
Like, ooh, ooh, an old Fashioned with smoke that comes out of it.
Danny G
Yeah. Oh, but, you know, but maybe it's not all that great. We don't know. I haven't had it yet.
Daniel Jeremiah
You know, Daniel Jeremiah told the story to the guys on barstool about Paxton lynch, former Broncos first round pick. And he said that he went to the. To the bowl game, I believe it was that Memphis was playing and noticed that Paxton lynch wasn't talking to other coaches or other teammates on the sidelines, was kind of by himself. That there wasn't like this engagement process. We laugh about the draft day movie and the theory of like, how many players went to your birthday party, the whole deal. We laugh at the questions that are asked. These players in the combine, you know, if you were couldn't wear blue jeans, what color pants do you wear, what animal would you be? But all of that is taken into account. So to also think of everything that comes with Shador, like, yeah, plays into it. Like it has to.
Rich Davis
I mean, I told you the coffee. Did we hear or was Matu and I talked about how employers. I saw an article about the coffee test where they offer you a cup of coffee during the interview and they see if you throw out your cup of coffee at the end or you leave it there for someone else to throw it away.
Danny G
Like, like little quarterback is a super special position, obviously a leadership position too, where, you know, are you the type of guy that's going to rub people the wrong way or are you type of guy that's gonna. That's gonna lead by example where the players want to fight for you? And when you're separating yourself, like you're already the superstar, it's kind of hard to be one with the rest of the team, you know, and it puts you in a different place. Like, do you want to fight for the guy that separates himself from the pack, or do you want to fight for the guy that's just one of the guys.
Rich Davis
That's what made me love.
Danny G
That's what's tough.
Rich Davis
Maxwell Hairston, who the Buffalo Bills pick, because not only did he come out with that enthusiasm and, you know, it just seems such like a. Such a sincere, loving dude. He was bro hugging and really excited for everyone else. And there was a part of him that you felt like that's a guy you want on your team. Yeah. You know, I don't know if anyone else has heard this second shout out to our buddy Michael yo today listening in Vegas. He's your.
Danny G
Is he your. Your ghostwriter?
Rich Davis
No. No. Well, no, he's a big. He's a Miami guy, so he's a big. You know what?
Danny G
Rich has had some good points lately. I think he's getting it From Michael Yeoh y.
Rich Davis
He's a big Cam Ward guy. And a big mistake Shador made perhaps is that he did a workout with Cam Ward. And a lot of people from that workout came away saying that Cam Ward looked a lot better than Shador in that. In that workout together. So, you know, that's another thing too. Like, you don't want to go to the bar with a better looking dude trying to pick up women, right?
Danny G
But, dude, let's also make clear you.
Rich Davis
Don'T want to do that.
Danny G
Let's all make this clear. We all grew up fans of his dad, right? And we all got excited when we started seeing him play.
Rich Davis
And I'll be honest, anyone's.
Danny G
Yeah, I don't think anyone's rooting for the guy. I mean, not rooting for the guy. We're all rooting for the guy. So we're just speculating on, well, what is it then? Because we're all rooting for him. And if I were to say, Rich, I'm not one to grade. I think the teams that stand out are the Giants. And we said that yesterday. They made some sweet moves. The Giants with Carter and Dart, the Titans with Ward, the Jags with Hunter and Danny G. Your Raiders man, Genti. Yeah, you can't, you can't not include your Raiders with some sweet moves or something to be excited about, especially when you think about the other moves they made this off season. So who are you most excited about? Richard?
Rich Davis
Are there.
Danny G
Is there another team I'm forgetting about? Giants, titans, Jags, Raiders?
Rich Davis
49Ers took Mikhail Williams out of Georgia. Listen, Edge rusher opposite Nick Bosa. Some liked it, some didn't. So listen, everyone has their needs, right?
Danny G
Everybody has their needs. But as far as, like, sexy, I think those are the teams that stood out. Like, oh, those are some. Those are some nice moves.
Rich Davis
Now, I was going to say Brandon, who works here, who's a big Niners fan, that I'll be. I'll be truthful. He's more knowledgeable than me. When you dig down deeper. Like, he's, he's a fanatic. He's a maniac. In fact, he did not like the pick. Right? I was. Sam. Yeah, no, he. He immediately after came out, he says, I hate this pick. Ah. But. But then again, you know what? I saw it float around. I put on my Instagram story if you want to see it, at Rich Davis, the clip of those fans saying, Josh Allen. We wanted Josh Rosen. And then there's a clip right after that attached to the same Clip where it's the the Chiefs fan saying Patrick Mahomes there's no wonder this team will never win. So you know every year the swings and misses people miss it happens rich a lot.
Israel Gutierrez
Quite a few of the mock drafts leading up to this had your Niners going with Will Johnson the corner from Michigan.
Rich Davis
Now I saw that too.
Israel Gutierrez
He was injured last season but aside from that he is a great defensive back. He's available right now. That's one of the other things that makes the top of the second round here exciting because will the Browns right off the bat go with Shador and once we get then to the Raiders at 37 would they go with Shador to sit behind Geno Smith? Because that's kind of the comp that was the comp for Shador yesterday on a lot of the shows was his ceiling is kind of like Geno Smith right now.
Danny G
You'd be pumped for that. Danny G. No, I mean I think the Raiders.
Israel Gutierrez
I think the Raiders have some bigger needs. They. They definitely need some help in their defensive backfield. If Will Johnson is sitting there at 37, I would go that route but I haven't been this hyped about a second round for a long time.
Rich Davis
You know what tight ends Dan Byer is a true first time this many tight ends in the first round. I believe I heard that stat being thrown around.
Daniel Jeremiah
We had two at least two. There's yeah yeah. Loveland. Yeah and there there are a couple of other tight ends too in this draft that are. That could be a variety could be picked in the first 15 picks or so. Mason Taylor of LSU is one other some big wide receivers we've all noticed.
Rich Davis
Over the last decade the increased role offensively of tight ends in the NFL. So you know some of these guys looking to make a Brock Bowers type of impact. Right.
Daniel Jeremiah
True and and but it hasn't gone to the Jimmy Graham like the more you block I think is more intriguing. Now you love a Swiss army life like Tyler Warren as well but like you have to you now have to line up and be able to hit somebody.
Rich Davis
You want to see a guy like George Kittle mow people over and look like a maniac. Yeah yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
I think you know he's obviously been one Gronk is obviously the standard bearer.
Rich Davis
But for sure do you Mason Taylor.
Israel Gutierrez
A very famous father and famous aunt.
Rich Davis
Do you know who Tim the Tool Man Taylor? No it's his his aunt is Joy Taylor and and then her brother is of course give me flank on his.
Daniel Jeremiah
First name Jason Taylor.
Danny G
Jason Taylor of the Mason Taylor I've.
Rich Davis
Been watching for a few years. The guy's really good.
Danny G
Really good.
Rich Davis
Look at that. Yeah. Talent in the family, talent in the fam. So to. To wrap this all up because we got games to play and weekend hobnobbin.
Danny G
I think Danny G hit it perfectly. So all the things that happened yesterday make today's round two even more exciting.
Rich Davis
I'm going to be. I'm going to sound like I'm the host of the Bachelor. This is the most exciting round two ever. Yeah, I really. I've never cared about round two exactly as much as I've cared about this year's round two. So I wrap up the conversation with this question. Look at the beginning of round two. Where does Shador go? What do you think, Danny? Where did you think you think?
Danny G
Well, you know, there's a lot of speculation, too, and a lot of people. I don't know, people just want to see drama, I guess, who think that he might not go at all. I agree with that.
Israel Gutierrez
Saints are coming up at 40, so it wouldn't surprise if he slips down past the Browns and the Raiders. That would put him the 40th pick overall to the Saints.
Rich Davis
All right, round two, we start with Cleveland. Houston's got their quarterback. Titans, no, Raiders.
Israel Gutierrez
The Browns have two picks in there right away.
Rich Davis
What about the Raiders at 37? Do you have no interest? Gino's like you like is that.
Israel Gutierrez
But it's not that I don't have any interest if Will Johnson is there. Yeah, I was saying I would go.
Rich Davis
Cornerback first, but I'm saying with Tom Brady and his relationship with prime time and the fact that you got Genti, you got Brock Bowers, you're building a pretty sweet offense. And Gino, you know, too many holes.
Israel Gutierrez
On the defensive side of the ball for the Raiders right now.
Rich Davis
I think he's going to go the.
Danny G
Raiders, and I think he fits in with the Raiders nice. I don't know, he just feels like a. He'd look good in silver and black.
Daniel Jeremiah
I told Danny a month ago I think the Raiders are destined to take Jalen Milroe because that is the Chip Kelly.
Rich Davis
Yep, that's a good one, too.
Daniel Jeremiah
Carroll, you know, Pete Carroll would always take shots with Russell Wilson, they take four or five shots in a game. But you'd love the mobility of Jalen Milroe.
Rich Davis
I have a crazy question. If somehow, some way, Shador doesn't go to the Raiders at 37, the fifth pick in the second round, if he. He again Goes past the Saints without getting picked, which would seem crazy if he doesn't go with pick 40 to the Saints.
Danny G
Well, did he pay rent for two nights of the party room or no? How does that work? Does he have it. Does he have it booked again? How does that even work?
Rich Davis
I don't know. I hope it's not like rental cars where you add a day and it's like triple the charge. Are there New York fans thinking could he slip to pick 42 with the jets and the jets have Justin Fields, but that's. That's really sort of an experiment in itself. No, I mean, you paid him for two years, but there's going to be a team eventually. That's like, why the hell not, right? I even think the 49ers the pick after that there's going to be a team eventually. That's like, why the hell not? Even if it's for trade reasons, I'm going.
Danny G
And Danny G already expressed that the Raiders have other needs. But for fun with the Tom Brady connection, I'm thinking Raiders. I am just because timing of it. I'm thinking Raiders selfishly because we do.
Rich Davis
The show every day. Danny's a big Raiders fan. So I want to see Danny live and die on the Shador rumors. And is he going to start. The minute Gino has a bad game, it's going to be like put in.
Israel Gutierrez
Don't wish that on me. I'd rather go Melro out of Alabama. But look at The Browns have 33 and 36. You're telling me with one of those two picks right at the top of the second round, they're not going to.
Danny G
Go Shador 33, 36. And what are the Saints again?
Israel Gutierrez
40.
Danny G
Yeah, that's true. That could be it too.
Rich Davis
And let's not discount someone could trade. There could be a team right now that that slept on it.
Danny G
Which makes tonight the most exciting round.
Rich Davis
Two of the Bachelor. I mean the NFL draft ever in draft history.
Daniel Jeremiah
I threw out the Dolphins earlier today. Imagine this quarterback room of two, Zach Wilson and Chador Sanders. Like that's.
Israel Gutierrez
I mean, that's pick 48.
Rich Davis
You know, not to be all over the place and we're running so late. I'm so sorry guys, but did you see Tommy DeVito has demanded a trade. That's not a joke. He has demanded a trade from the Giants because now that the quarterback room he did not get told ahead of time that they were thinking about a quarterback. So now with Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston.
Danny G
Dart dart.
Rich Davis
Tommy DeVito out. So take Your gabagool, your fresh mozzarell and get at it. You're gonna drop them off. Gonna drop him off at Newark Airport or what?
Danny G
Yeah, but New York has the best cutlets. What's he gonna do?
Rich Davis
I don't know.
Danny G
All right, so guys, we have swiggies to give away and it's your chance to win one. All right, the coveted Swiggy, our stainless steel water bottle that everybody's talking about. It's midnight black, says Fox Sports Radio on it. It's real nice. Your chance to win one by simply playing Cavino or Belichick.
Rich Davis
A game. That's me or him?
Danny G
Apparently we're the same guy. It's multiple choice, easy to play, but a chance to win a really great prize and a nice way to start the weekend. So the number is 87799 on Fox if you want to play.
Rich Davis

Rich Davis
First of all, what is that? My mouth is wide open.
Camila Ramon
Yeah, history makers like the Sucard family who became the first Peruvians to win a Grammy.

All right, CNR on FSR live from the Fox Sports Radio studio. And can we just say we're very proud to be part of the premier sports lineup in the nation and we're super pumped about the coverage that Fox Sports Radio provided yesterday when it comes to the NFL draft.
Rich Davis
Look at you kissing ass.
Danny G
That's right.
Israel Gutierrez
No, the network got a big write up today in a trade online trade magazine and it was just glowing review about the coverage.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Danny G

It's time to play Kavino or Belichick. Let's go. Steve Covino and Bill Belichick have some things in common. They do.
Danny G
Belichick's the man.
Rich Davis
They both have younger girlfriends named Jordan.
Danny G
He ain't the man if that was my daughter.
Rich Davis
They both have a powerful presence in the Sports world.
Danny G
Work harder so you can do that when you're 72.
Rich Davis
You tell us, is it Steve Kavina or Bill Belichick?
Danny G
I'm not mad at him at all. I want to know what it is. You know what it is. The similarities are endless.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Israel Gutierrez
The only difference is Bill is, like five or six years older than Covina.
Rich Davis
Not five or six. That's what I'm careful.
Danny G
Not five or six.
Rich Davis
Yeah, it's about five. Iowa. Sam, Danny G. We have a contestants lined up.
Israel Gutierrez
We are going to meet our contestant in just a moment. I'm going to let Byer pick here. All right, DB Would you love to travel to beautiful Missoula, Montana? Las Vegas, Nevada, West Palm Beach, Florida, or Temple, Texas?
Daniel Jeremiah
Let's go to West Palm.
Israel Gutierrez
West Palm is Mike Mikey.
Rich Davis
How's it going? Hey, ready to play?
Israel Gutierrez
Hey, Mike, really quick. What do you do for a living there in Florida?
Rich Davis
I work at a cemetery.
Liz Ortiz
Oh.
Rich Davis
I mean Florida, as they say, where New Yorkers go to die.
Israel Gutierrez
All right, here is how Covino. This is how Covino or Belichick works. I've done extensive research on Coach and Covino and their young girlfriends. Each member of the crew is going to read a fun fact, and then you got to tell us, is it Steve Covino or Bill Belichick? You have five chances to get two correct. Are you ready?
Danny G
Ready.
Rich Davis
I'm ready.
Israel Gutierrez
Okay, Rich Davis is gonna read the first fun fact.
Rich Davis
All right? This guy, whether it's Belichick or Kvino, their Jordan once had a pet goat named Bach Bok. Kavino or Belichick, their Jordan, once had a pet goat named Bach bok.
Danny G
I don't know. I don't know if I know this.
Rich Davis
Let's go.
Danny G
Belichick.
Rich Davis
No.
Danny G
Yeah, it was actually my girlfriend. Yeah, she lived on a farm.
Rich Davis
Are you serious?
Danny G
She had goats and stuff?
Rich Davis
Yeah, she's from Idaho. Oh, my. I didn't know this.
Danny G
Yeah, she. She bounced around, but I know she lived on a farm. She always talks about this goat she had.
Israel Gutierrez
Wait, really?
Danny G
Yeah. All right, now she has this goat. What's up?
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Danny G
The greatest of all time, Goat boy.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Israel Gutierrez
Don't worry, Mikey. You got four more chances to get two. Right? All right, Dan Byers gonna read the second fun fact.
Daniel Jeremiah
All right? He once said, quote, you get the job done or you don't. End quote. Kavino or Belichick?
Israel Gutierrez
Belichick.
Daniel Jeremiah
That's correct.
Israel Gutierrez
Yes. All right, so you're on the board, halfway to a swiggy, and. Yeah, Covino has said some very thoughtful Things on the air before, but never that line.
Danny G
Yeah, never that line specifically. Great job.
Israel Gutierrez
All right, Spot has the third fun fact. I feel like this is going to.
Rich Davis
Be as tough as the goat question because they're both equally have huge personalities.
Israel Gutierrez
He was on a reality TV program.
Danny G
In the early 2000s.
Daniel Jeremiah
A lot going on for both of.
Rich Davis
Them in the early 2000s.
Daniel Jeremiah
Is it Kavino or Belichick Cavino?
Rich Davis
Yes, that's correct.
Israel Gutierrez
We have a winner, Mike, in West Palm Beach, Florida. To correct there, that means we're gonna mail.
Danny G
What was the name of the show? Yeah, I was on a show called called the Empire Girls and I was like the only Empire boy. And that show aired on Style and remember Style? It was Style and E, the E. Network. And now it's on like Amazon and my daughter's friends find it and make fun of her about it. It's horrible. It's horribly embarrassing.
Rich Davis
I remember your ex wife was on it, which is why you were on it. And you guys were fighting about moving to New York and la, and I was like, what premonitions of that going wrong?
Danny G
It was horrible. But, man, we got a win.
Israel Gutierrez
Hey, Mike, Mike, we're going to mail out a shiny C and R stainless steel Swiggy to Florida for you.
Rich Davis
You okay? Is it your ex wife on the Real Housewives of Encino because of you?
Danny G
No, no, I don't want to talk about her. Thanks. Yeah. Hey, great job, Mike.
Rich Davis
DB what's up, man?
Daniel Jeremiah
DB Smooth transition. Kavino's ex wife to me, you brought her up, Rich.
Rich Davis
I know I brought her up.
Daniel Jeremiah
This time, right now, it's the two ends of the spectrum of loving Covino, you know, the ex wife and then me on that other end.
Rich Davis
You love him.
Daniel Jeremiah
President Trump loves Shador Sanders. Danny read the tweet earlier, but the president, not a Clay Matthews fake out job that we saw last night. The real deal is the president took to social media supporting the Colorado quarterback who wasn't picked in the first round of last night's draft. The President stated Chadora has, quote, phenomenal genes and is set for greatness, end quote, while adding he should be picked immediately.
Danny G
When he says phenomenal jeans, he's talking Travis Matthew, I believe.
Rich Davis
Featherweight phenomenal jeans.
Danny G
Yeah.
Daniel Jeremiah
Not just for golf anymore.
Danny G
Super stretchy and light.
Daniel Jeremiah
The Commissioner of the NFL, Roger Goodell, was on the Pat McAfee show mentioning some possible changes that could be coming. Christmas Day is going to have a triple header basically every year. The Chiefs wanted to be a part of it. Every year. The NFL said No, that's not going to be the case. Thanksgiving Day games will have more of the traditional kickoff times that we see on Sundays of an NFL season. And Goodell also said that the first round of the NFL draft could have shortened time limits coming up right now, each team given 10 minutes to make that first round selection. Goodell offered up the suggestion of possibly seven minutes, with the situation possibly adding two more minutes if teams needed to make the pick. Former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson arrested on DUI charges early this morning in Minnesota following attending a Vikings draft party tonight in the NBA playoffs. The Celtics and Magic will tip at the top of the hour. Jason Tatum will play tonight for Boston against Orlando Pacers and Bucks at 8 Eastern Lakers and T wolves 9:30 Eastern Time. Grizzlies won't have John Morant tomorrow in game four at against OKC Thunder up in that series three games to none. Family of five star USC recruit Elijah arena says the 18 year old is out of his induced coma following a car accident early Thursday. Guys, back to you.
Rich Davis
Thanks.
Israel Gutierrez
Good news.
Rich Davis
Thanks DB and by the way, that because we talk so much NFL.
Danny G
Yeah.
Rich Davis
At one point the Grizzlies were like so in the lead of that game you're like all right, they're back in the series. They were up by like 20.
Israel Gutierrez
Huge lead.
Daniel Jeremiah
I turned I 27 when John Morank got hurt.
Rich Davis
Dude, I I took my mind off it. I stopped even looking at the updates while I was watching the draft and my goodness, jaws out. They win, they lose the game. Wild down 3 0.
Danny G
So thank you Dan by and the Adrian Peterson story too. How many times we going to hear that? Especially guys that make money. Take an Uber, take an Uber. What's so hard about that? Hey Fox Sports Radio Nation, if you're going out partying tonight, take an Uber, take an Uber home, a Lyft, whatever. Call somebody.

Danny G
And everybody's buzzing about it. The healthiest, the best. We've seen him in you.

Are they buzzing or is that fake piped in crowd noise?
Danny G
I think it might be that. But still, he's playing great. So congrats to Kawhi Leonard for being our Express Pro Pro of the week again. I'm Steve Cavino. That is Rich Davis. Danny G. Is here. Sam Spot. And now it's time for Weekend Hobnobin.
Rich Davis
Living for the weekend. You're winning bets for talking points. If you get stuck socializing. You ever done anything dangerous?
Daniel Jeremiah
You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?
Danny G
That is dangerous.
Rich Davis
Friday brings us Weekend Hobnob.
Danny G
All right, so you know I love me a good fight, right?
Rich Davis
We need to get props, though. That's bub rub. Well, bro, people realize that.
Danny G
Whistle got woo.
Rich Davis
That's the.
Danny G
From the Oakland area, one of my.
Rich Davis
Favorite clips of the 2000s.
Danny G
Whistles go woo. So Chris Eubanks is fighting Connor. Ben. Middleweight boxing match on the zone, but pretty decent UFC card. If you like ufc, you got Gary. Guillaume Machado, Gary versus Carlos Prate, Smith versus Mingyang. Some good UFC if you want to see some fights. Got a little UFC and a little boxing going on this weekend.
Rich Davis
We're all waiting for May 2nd. That's real boxing. I was just going to say Times Square outdoors.
Danny G
That's Teofimo, Ryan Garcia. Devin Haney Garcia headlining that fight. Fight. That's May 2nd. So yeah, it's all building up for that. I started it last night after the draft. I'm going to continue tonight. Joe Goldberg is back. You on Netflix. And I always look at it like Dexter Light. Dexter Light. And what I'VE noticed Rich is Joe Goldberg. Went from like a guy being obsessed with, you know, women, like sort of a stalker kind of guy. Like, it's just a straight up murderer. Now he's just murdering people like a weirdo. And for whatever reason, we kind of like Joe Goldberg. You I think it's the final season if I'm not mistaken. So I always like that show. So far, it's pretty dece and I'll give ourselves some props. If you missed it yesterday, I don't blame you. Everybody's tuned into the draft. It was an exciting night. We talked about it all day. Continues today. You gotta watch over promised our bonus pod that's on fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. You could listen, but we prefer you watch it because we welcome KFC from Barstool Kevin Clancy. We had 30 minutes with the One Minute man and we got his backstory, his relationship with Portnoy, how he ended up in his pod, chopped it up and just hung out. Anyway, he's a really good dude, so got to know Kevin a little bit better on over promised. Check it out and let us know what you thought.
Rich Davis
I have you also on my list. Might as well finish the show I started back in the day. Right as you said. Dexter Light you is back on Netflix. If you have Apple TV with just cheapskate Cavinos like I don't have it. Spend the five bucks, six bucks or whatever.
Danny G
I'm good. The best show because there's always something else to watch.
Rich Davis
The show that I'm so pulled into right now. And there's a new episode today. Danny G. Episode four.
Israel Gutierrez
Yeah.
Rich Davis
Your friends and neighbors with Jon Hamm.
Israel Gutierrez
10 out of 10.
Rich Davis
Many people are saying, and I agree, his best stuff since Mad Men. He's so cool. There's something so cool about Jon Hamm. The stories like so upsetting, yet awesome. So Jon Hamm, your friends and neighbors. Olivia Munn is also in that. Looking beautiful. And remember from Amanda. Pete from a bunch of stuff in the 2000s.
Danny G
How about John Ham's Ham?
Rich Davis
Does he get credit? Ham does get credit. So your friends and neighbors. Fantastic. There's a show on Netflix. I feel like this is something you'd pass by because it was a cowboy hat and Kavino is very judgmental. Ransom Canyon.
Israel Gutierrez
Oh, it's so cheesy.
Rich Davis
It looks so cheesy, but it's bad. My observation with my wife, Danny G. Is that it stars Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly, who in my mind are both like young hotties and they're Both like older now.
Israel Gutierrez
It's like a Hallmark movie trying to have Yellowstone level drama.
Rich Davis
Does Yellowstone meets Hallmark.
Israel Gutierrez
It's torture, but it might mind.
Rich Davis
I'm like, oh, Josh Duil. He's like a young studded mink. And Kelly Woohoo. And I'm like wait, no. They're all like, they're both like middle aged now.
Danny G
Is it Timothy Olant or Josh Du.
Rich Davis
That's. That's available and Kavino per your recommendation. Because I give you props, unlike you never give me props. I watch some of these History Channel food specials. There's one about the history of salsa. I'm not even joking.
Danny G
This is the most Bobby Salsa, bro.
Rich Davis
There's the mo. It's the most interesting crap I've ever seen my life. The invention of the Dorito is the guy from Pace, the guy that invented.
Danny G
Pace, Tostitos and Doritos salsa.
Rich Davis
It is fascinating. So if you, if you want to know the history of food, there's a bunch of new episodes of the Food.
Danny G
That Made America and the Food that Built America.
Rich Davis
Built America on the History Channel.
Danny G
Yeah, it's a great series.
Rich Davis
All right. Anything else?
Daniel Jeremiah
But I mean, if you're heading to the theater, I got to mention the accountant 2.
Rich Davis
Yep.
Daniel Jeremiah
Loved the first one. Ben Affleck, Josh or John Bernthal.
Rich Davis
Yep.
Daniel Jeremiah
Great action movie.
Israel Gutierrez
Really? Check it out.
Danny G
