Steve Cavino
Hey, hey. It's the show that never ends.
Rich Davis
Yes, it goes on and on, my friends.
Steve Cavino
Thank you, amigos. By the way, happy Uno de mayo. It's uno de mayo. What a wonderful day.
Rich Davis
It doesn't have the same ring to it.
Steve Cavino
It's uno, the mayo. We got some NBA. Yeah, bro. It means no worries.
Danny G
And it's pretty good.
Steve Cavino
You like that? Uno de mayo.
Rich Davis
It means the Lakers for the rest of your days.
Steve Cavino
It's uno, the mayo. We're four days before the big fiesta, one day before the big fight tomorrow. You know, we'll probably talk about the fights. And if you're saying what fights? We're not friends. Okay, just let that be known. But we'll talk about that on over promised our bonus show in about an hour. Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. Broadcasting live from the FO Sports Radio studios. We be rocking out CNR on FSR. I'm Steve Cavino. That is Rich Davis.
Rich Davis
Today, the 26th anniversary dude, Richard Davis of SpongeBob SquarePants. Are y'all ready, kids?
Steve Cavino
Ready. You know, we are the number one show amongst pirates, by the way. A lot of people know that.
Rich Davis
Yeah. Because pirates love the sea and R. That's true.
Steve Cavino
You know, and Rich, so again, thank you for being here. It is an anniversary. What? SpongeBob is 26.
Rich Davis
Yeah. And by the way, we're not too cool for a bad dad joke here and there, clearly. But, yeah, 26 years since SpongeBob's been on. I'm not a big SpongeBob guy, but I recognize the pure impact that that show has had. But it did get us thinking in our lifetime. Know what we saw the invention of now, Big Mike, who runs this place.
Big Mike
Who?
Steve Cavino
Mike will argue.
Rich Davis
You know, the first adult cartoon was the Flintstones. People don't realize it was primetime television. And I get it. Fred and Bonnie, that was a primetime show. But when I say adult cartoons, I'm talking about not Care Bears and gummy bears and the Smurfs. I'm talking adult humor.
Steve Cavino
I know what you mean.
Rich Davis
Cartoons.
Steve Cavino
I know what you mean. But speaking of dad jokes and cartoons, can I give you one?
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Steve Cavino
Why don't people in Dubai like Scooby Doo?
Rich Davis
Why don't people in Dubai?
Steve Cavino
What's the difference between people in Dubai and people in Abu Dhabi?
Rich Davis
I don't know.
Steve Cavino
People in Dubai don't like Scooby Doo. People in Abu Dhabi do.
Rich Davis
Why didn't he say the Flintstones?
Steve Cavino
Because I'm thinking about Scooby Doo.
Caller
Oh, yeah.
Steve Cavino
Oh, it's Flintstones. Oh, that's what I meant.
Caller
Did you just make that up on the spot?
Steve Cavino
I just made it up and messed it up. I messed it up. You messed it up, man. I'm a terrible dad joke. Well, anyway, back to the phone calls and the feedback. The best adult cartoon. But look, spongebob doesn't necessarily fall in that category. It's just adult humor. Still a kid's cartoon. Yeah.
Rich Davis
There's a ton of you on Nickelodeon. I don't want to take all the answers, but I mean, the one that's been on the longest. Let's just get out of the way. Because if you think you're going to be original calling in and saying, I was Sam's favorite show. I feel like you're a Simpsons guy.
Caller
Oh, absolutely, absolutely.
Rich Davis
So I ask you. I was Sam to answer my bedrock.
Caller
No pun intended, talking about the Flintstones. Well, again, of my. Of my sense of humor.
Steve Cavino
They debuted in 87 on the Tracy Ullman show and then in 89 as its own show. So longevity alone has to be in the discussion. I mean, but just based on longevity. Look, I love the Simpsons. No, no, diss. I don't think they're the number one answer.
Rich Davis
If you are a kid of the 80s and 90s, if you're roughly 40ish, like we are. You remember as a kid when the Fox network debuted, I associated solely with the Simpsons and Married With Children. I feel like they made their name on those two shows. If I'm missing something, let me know. But I feel like as a kid I was like Fox with the new. Because it was a new network. And to me it was.
Steve Cavino
You are missing something, Tracey Ullman. Because that's where the Simpsons got their.
Caller
But by the way, was Tracy Ullman on Curb youb Enthusiasm?
Steve Cavino
Yes.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Big Mike
Okay.
Caller
I thought it tied it together.
Rich Davis
So to me, the early days of Fox were the Simpsons and Al Bundy Married with Children.
Steve Cavino
Sunday nights. Right.
Rich Davis
I want to ask you, Iowa Samuel, how many episodes do you think the Simpsons have done? It's, it's. It's one of those, like, guess how many jelly beans in the jar. You could be way off. I don't know. Just you take a guess.
Caller
What do you think so they've been on for 37 years. I want to say about 30 episodes per season.
Rich Davis
Maybe.
Caller
I'm gonna say a thousand episodes.
Rich Davis
You're close. They're not quite there. I'm one. They'd have to.
Caller
They'll stay till they get a thousand.
Rich Davis
They'd have to do. Because, you know, in the world of sitcoms, you could go into syndication back in the day. I know syndication doesn't matter as much anymore because now you just sell it to Hulu or Netflix. But a hundred episodes was a way of saying, all right, man, we could re. We could do reruns. Now hundred episodes is a big deal. The Simpsons have done 782 episodes.
Caller
Okay, I'm a little off.
Big Mike
Yeah.
Rich Davis
Do you realize how many episodes that is? That's.
Caller
They don't even have the same people necessarily even voicing the same characters anymore. People have retired. People have passed away. But the Simpsons was such a cash cow for Fox that they could poke fun at their own network all the time. And they would do it regularly just.
Rich Davis
Just to put a perspective. When you were a kid, a show that you watched on reruns all the time, like Gilligan's island, you know, Gilligan's island was just shy of 100 episodes. And you feel like, wow, that show must have been on forever. The Simpsons, 782 episodes.
Steve Cavino
That's insane. So, yeah, again, see this Yankee hat I'm wearing? I tip my hat to the Simpson. I'm going to give my number one. And if you're on hold and you have the same answer, that's fine. You know, back me up. It's all good. 87799 on Fox @COVINO and Rich. I know Rich's answer. I disagree. I think the game changer, the real game changer, the show that pushed the envelope that said, hey, this is for adults, debuted in 1992 on Liquid Television. It was on MTV, a show called Liquid television. And the segment was frog baseball. And look, sports related, Fox sports, Frog baseball. And it was two of my heroes on one show. And it was so good, they started their own show in 1993. Uh, these guys are the coolest. And they're talking about Covino and Rich, but I'm talking about Beavis and Butthead. Those are my dudes. I love it. That's the number one show. Cause they were pushing it, Rich. They were pushing it. Beavis and Butthead is my answer for my. Look, I'm in my 40ish-40s, right? That's my answer. And I'm sticking to it. Yeah, I love the Ren and Stimpies of the world.
Big Mike
Because that's just like sticking.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, dude. Yeah. This guy, this guy, he's gonna say south park.
Rich Davis
Like.
Steve Cavino
Like he knows anything. This guy knows nothing.
Rich Davis
So I am gonna say south park because I think over the last, uh.
Steve Cavino
This guy's a tool.
Rich Davis
Over the last 20 plus years, bigger.
Steve Cavino
Is he gonna say South Park?
Rich Davis
I remember in my college days.
Caller
Shut up, Davis.
Rich Davis
In my college days, I remember sitting around with my friends when they had the original south park episode. Remember, it was Jesus versus Santa. And they took off running that show every season. They don't do it as much as they used to. It's a billion dollar industry for Trey and Matt. And we're talking whatever the relevant subject matter is today.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, they're great at being topical.
Rich Davis
They tackle that subject. No punches held.
Steve Cavino
I think we just named the top three. If you're going to do the Mountain Rushmore, there has to be a number. Another one. So we got the Simpsons. Rich says South Park. I'm sticking with Beavis and Butthead. But it's the anniversary of again, the birthday of SpongeBob.
Rich Davis
All right, let's start with Paul and Rhode Island Paul. What do you think, man? Best adult cartoon?
Listener
Well, I'm a lot older than you.
Rich Davis
Guys, but I'm gonna go Ben and.
Listener
Jerry and Flintstones when I came home from school. That's okay. My family worked for Henry Barbera back in the day in the cartoon world. I just like to say hi to my distant cousins. Owns about 60,000 cows in California.
Steve Cavino
Dairy cow sounds good. Thank you, man.
Rich Davis
There you go.
Steve Cavino
His family member is Johnny Quest.
Rich Davis
Yeah, he said Ben and Jerry.
Steve Cavino
I thought he. I was gonna say. Do you mean Tom and Jerry, bro?
Rich Davis
Because Ben and Jerry's in ice cream.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, but then he said he was eating ice cream.
Rich Davis
Tom and Jerry. I saw something. I saw some meme recently, like, hey, whatever happened to mouse? Was making cool little holes in the wall like they did in cartoons back in the day.
Caller
What do they call it? The floorboard or the.
Rich Davis
Yeah, you don't see those floorboards.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, that's where we learned all of our classical music.
Big Mike
We learned how to blow things up.
Steve Cavino
With Roadrunner, but again, those were kid cartoons, you know, they were violent in today's eyes, right. From today's perspective. But Tom and Jerry was a kids cartoon.
Big Mike
I think we can include. I think we can include them.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Big Mike
Throw it in a topic. Yeah. Just because there was adult content in there.
Caller
Mike Judge, though, he drew people he drew cartoon characters, like people he didn't try to, you know. And same with King of the Hill, one of my favorite shows. And Beavis and Butthead. They were just people as cartoons.
Rich Davis
What was that movie from a couple years ago when Beavis of Butt Head did a movie. I feel like I came over your house and I had to, like, have a drink or get high or something to enjoy it a little bit.
Steve Cavino
Well, they did America and then the last one. I forget what the name. We watched it.
Rich Davis
Beavis and Butthead movie came out a couple years ago. Let's go to Ohio. And Josh, you're on the show. What's up, buddy?
Steve Cavino
Hey, Josh.
Listener
Hey, guys. First off, I don't think you can mention the beginning of Fox without throwing in Living Color in there as well.
Rich Davis
Dude, I'm so sorry. I feel like it asked for not saying that. You're right. In Living Color, the Simpsons, Married With Children. You could see why.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, JLo.
Rich Davis
You could see JLo.
Listener
Yeah.
Rich Davis
You could see why it worked out. What's up, Josh?
Listener
Yes. So I. I have to agree. You know, born in 82, Beavis and Butthead was my answer. My reasoning, though, was not necessarily the cartoons, but how they analyze music videos. 80s, baby. You love MTV. And when they analyze the Hulk Hogan, Real American video. I don't know if there was a funnier one than that.
Rich Davis
Not only that. Like, that one.
Big Mike
So memorable.
Steve Cavino
So right, though. You know how many videos and how many bands they turned me on to? Because the whole premise of their show was, yeah, there'd be little cartoon segments, but the majority of the show was them watching music video.
Big Mike
They were like, video.
Steve Cavino
Forget about that. Yeah. Like, who are these guys? Right. So they're doing the video critique, but they also put a lot of bands on the map. Like, they're like, whoa, who's that guy? Yeah, this guy's cool. That guy was Rob Zombie. White Zombie. No one cared about White Zombie until they were talking about it and it blew up. Or the song Rusty Cage by Soundgarden.
Rich Davis
Rob Zombie has credited.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, Rob Zombie credits Beavis and Butthead for putting them on the map. Like, they exposed you to a lot of music. Really great point.
Rich Davis
Thanks for chiming in, Ted and Cincy. What's up, Ted?
Listener
Hey, guys. First of all, your show is amazing.
Rich Davis
Oh, thanks.
Steve Cavino
Thank you, man.
Listener
Second of all, you guys glossed over briefly. I'm 52. When I was in college, Ren and Stimpy, I mean, it was. It wasn't quite over the top, like south park, but it was really Demented. And as far. I mean, it wasn't really for kids.
Rich Davis
Hello, Ren.
Listener
Even. Even. Even towards the end of their airing, they came out with an unedited version of, like, stuff that made the cutting room floor. It was. It was out there.
Steve Cavino
I mean, you know what's so cool about it, too? Like, when they would go to those. Those real realistic images.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Caller
Still shots where it was like, yeah, that show was disgusting. It was disgusting. But Stampy, you idiot, the illustrations were beautiful pieces of art.
Steve Cavino
It really is. It's one of those late night, I'm up late, I'm stoned or something. In college, it was on. You're like, wow, this cartoon's wild.
Big Mike
You know, I think about Adult Swim, too, when we talk about these sort of cartoons. Like, I love the Boondocks. It's a good one. Huey and Riley.
Steve Cavino
And that's still on Netflix now, isn't it?
Big Mike
Yeah, I know it. I think it gone to Max and a couple other platforms have it now. I know it started on Adult Swim, but yeah, their grant had to go out and live with their grandfather in the suburbs and just cutting edge. And that was like 2005 or something. But loved it. Whenever the Boondocks would come on late at night, I'm like, yeah, because it.
Caller
Was kind of anime style.
Big Mike
Yes.
Caller
But it was more sort of like an urban sort of setting. And, yeah, it looked like Speed Racer.
Steve Cavino
But in urban setting.
Caller
And then, of course, on Adult Swim, Metalocalypse is another one that's, I think, still going so more adult.
Steve Cavino
So in 1999, SpongeBob debuted 26 years ago today. Now, it was meant for kids, but there was definitely a lot of adult innuendo and reason to watch. And still you'll probably watch it today because it's funny. It's a funny, funny cartoon. And I remember we met the voice of SpongeBob, remember, like, just as many adults were excited to meet the guy than the kids. Remember that at series 6M, when we.
Rich Davis
Were there, we also interviewed and had a great hang with the voice of Bart Simpson.
Steve Cavino
That is true. That is true.
Caller
So Nancy Cartwright.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, Nancy Cartwright is great. Who also did. What else did she do? Oh, she was in Twilight Zone, the movie. But anyway, because adults got such a kick out of spongebob and still do on this day, we asked you the best adult cartoon old school. When 50 hits, who do we got?
Rich Davis
We got a guy that treated us to pizza the other day, and we did not say thank you yet. Trip in Vegas. Trip. Trip.
Steve Cavino
As I've said, Over and over again. Trip. Trip.
Rich Davis
Hooray. What's up, Trip?
Big Mike
Don't worry. I thanked him for you guys.
Steve Cavino
Thank you, buddy.
Rich Davis
What's up, Tripp?
Listener
Hey. It's always just out here working hard, saving my money for Rich's double Tito soda with a big straw.
Rich Davis
That is true.
Steve Cavino
Yes. Yes.
Rich Davis
What's up, brother?
Listener
So, before I tell my show, do I have to tell a dumb dad joke, too? Is that part of it?
Steve Cavino
Well, at least if you're gonna get it right, don't mess it up like I did.
Listener
All right, how about this? Why? Why do you not play cards in the jungle?
Rich Davis
Why do you not play cards in the jungle? Why?
Listener
There's too many cheetahs.
Rich Davis
Tell my kids that tonight.
Caller
It's actually pretty good.
Steve Cavino
That's a good one.
Rich Davis
So, Chip, what's your cartoon?
Listener
And I would say, for this reason, I would have said Beavis and Butthead, but I'm going to change it to Family Guy. And this is why. If you cross them or bad mouth them, one of the next episodes will be about you.
Rich Davis
Yeah. Can I tell you, I left it for someone else to add in. I'm glad did Trip. Family Guy falls in a weird category for me, and I feel like maybe everyone else in this room could feel what I'm saying. There are shows that you never appointment watch, but anytime you watch it or see a clip, you love it. Like, I've never sat down, like, oh, Sunday, whatever, time for Family Guy, but I've watched a million episodes. Every time, every time I see a clip on TikTok or Instagram, I'm like, this show is just hilarious.
Steve Cavino
You know what's wild to me, though, is, look, Seth MacFarlane's great, and I'm so excited to see what he does with Naked Gun and all that. So this is not a criticism because he's oddly talented. He could sing, he could dance, he could write. He's handsome, all that stuff. Okay? But people always give him credit for all the voices he does.
Rich Davis
Handsome, huh? You have Seth MacFarlane.
Steve Cavino
I mean, so I've heard.
Rich Davis
I mean, yo, bro, you like crooners?
Steve Cavino
Respectfully, bro. And what? But people always say, man, all the voices he does, it's just. They're all his voices. I'm like, I'm not that impressed. If someone could just change their voice a million different ways. I don't know. That always is weird to me.
Rich Davis
I get what you're saying. Kavino's saying.
Steve Cavino
It's like, hey, that's not bad. You think that's bad? He's just doing whatever his voice is capable of. It's not like he, hey, well, do Daffy Duck. You know what I mean? Like, he's not doing impressions. He's just doing his own voice in.
Rich Davis
Different ways, but because the show is popular, like, Stewie is just something he made up. Like, imagine if you made up a cartoon. I do. Burn in Hel. I don't know.
Steve Cavino
It's just like, people always like, man, he does some great voices. Like, yeah, he does, but it's what his voice is capable.
Rich Davis
Like, Danny, think about what your voice is capable of. If you were like, I'm gonna make a character, Dwight. And he's like, hey, what's up, everyone?
Steve Cavino
Overanalyzing. But he always gets credit for that.
Big Mike
I'll give him credit for everything else, but it's originality. So it's kind of like coming up with your own song as a musician versus covering a song.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, I guess he's coming up with the characters, right? So, yeah, Family Guy has to be brought up. But is it number one? Stand in My Crowd.
Rich Davis
Whip.
Steve Cavino
Cool Whip.
Big Mike
I think it's in the top five.
Steve Cavino
Is top five? Is it top four? That's all that matters.
Big Mike
I think it's probably number five, I'd say.
Rich Davis
I mean, it is Fox Sports, and I think isn't the. When you work in sports, so you have to make a Mount Rushmore? Isn't that, like.
Big Mike
Yeah, no, not on our show. You're on our show.
Steve Cavino
Starting five.
Rich Davis
Yeah, start starting five. Marley in Rochester. What's up, Marley?
Listener
Yeah, man. Hey, if y'all go back old school, because, you know, I'm 55, and I'm gonna say Rocky and Bullwinkle. Okay? But I got something on that Beavis and Butthead tip for y'all. Y. It's called the Dudes of Hazmat. Check it out. It's drone, just like Beavis and Butthead. They got their own little dance and a nice little jingle. Dudes of Hazmat, man.
Rich Davis
All right.
Steve Cavino
Gotta check that out.
Rich Davis
I mean, I know it was an adult cartoon, but I always thought there was no cooler dude than Heathcliff.
Steve Cavino
Oh, he was. He was a badass.
Rich Davis
He hung out with that, like, good looking cat on the junkyard.
Steve Cavino
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Heathcliff.
Rich Davis
Heathcliff. No one should.
Steve Cavino
And he kicks some ass. I mean, if we're gonna talk favorite of all cartoons, I mean, my real answer is Jessica Rabbit. I think she turned me into a man when I was little. But, you know, Beavis and Butthead is my answer. Let's Wrap it up.
Rich Davis
She's responsible for your weird searches.
Steve Cavino
Jessica Rabbit changed my life.
Rich Davis
Animated. What? All right, can I throw one in there? That it's, it's maybe not so much adult, but my kids watch it and I think adults could get a kick out of it. Any of you guys watch Gravity Falls? Gravity Falls is one of those, like.
Steve Cavino
It'S for kids, but not like spongebob.
Rich Davis
Yeah. Like if you, if you know Gravity Falls, you're like, oh, yeah, yeah, that's. That's some good stuff.
Steve Cavino
I've only heard about it from you. I heard it's good, though.
Rich Davis
King of the Hill get any shout outs?
Caller
I did earlier. That's, that's got to be one that's.
Steve Cavino
Based on real people from Judge's life, his old neighbors and everything.
Caller
It's more dry than Beavis and Butthead.
Rich Davis
What was the dirty one from Nick Kroll where it was way sexual? Oh, something Dirty mouth or.
Steve Cavino
So it was Big mouth.
Rich Davis
Big mouth. Yeah. That was on Netflix.
Steve Cavino
So hey, that was definitely an adult cartoon for sure.
Rich Davis
If you, if you want to add any more. 8, 7. 7.
Caller
What about the Mike Tyson? It was like the, the Mike Tyson's Mysteries. Oh, yeah. But then there's the norm. McDonald's like the pigeon man or something.
Rich Davis
Yeah. So, hey, if you have any others, we'll take them next. And of course, get into some more. NBA, NFL and Danny G. You got that list of the top draft jerseys right here. I'm curious to see what came out on top. So we'll get to all that. Next cabin on Rich right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Steve Cavino

Steve Cavino
Welcome back to the world famous Kavino and Rich show, brought to you by Log. It's log.
Rich Davis
It's log.
Steve Cavino
And we're live from the Fox Sports radio studio. For over 40 years, Tire Rack has been shipping and helping customers find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Rich Davis
Yeah, ship fast and free. Backed by free road hazard protection. Convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tire act.com the way tire buying should be. And don't forget after the show we got our bonus pod today over. Promise we're going to talk about rooting interest for the playoffs in the NBA. And Kavino, I know you're super pumped. A lot of fight fans getting excited for a big card that's happening this Friday night in Times Square.
Steve Cavino
I'm going to get you so pumped. And there's another fight on Tres de Mayo. And if you haven't seen the face off between Skull and Canelo. Skull is huge, dude. He's a big boy. But we're wrapping up this anniversary. Throwback Thursday, old School when 50 hits. It's the birthday anniversary of the debut of SpongeBob 26 years ago. And even though it's for kids, it's got a lot of adult humor. So based on that, when it comes to adult cartoons, what's your favorite and why? Our top three are the Simpsons, south park for Rich, Beavis and Butthead for me.
Rich Davis
Gotta throw Family Guy in there.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, yeah. So we're get the rest of your phone calls and move on. And we're talking about breaking records. All right, but Rich youh got to give me. You got to let me redeem myself. Speaking of cartoons. Hey, what's the difference between Dubai and Abu Dhabi?
Rich Davis
Take two.
Steve Cavino
Hey, guys, what's the difference between Dubai and Abu Dhabi? What?
Caller
What is it?
Steve Cavino
People in Dubai don't like the Flintstones, but people in Abu Dhabi do.
Rich Davis
Yeah. There you go.
Big Mike
Why did. Why does it feel worse the second time?
Steve Cavino
That was good.
Rich Davis
Let's go to Jordan in Pittsburgh. What's up, Jordan?
Listener
Hello.
Rich Davis
Yeah. What's up, man?
Steve Cavino
Hey, buddy?
Listener
Not much. How you guys doing today?
Rich Davis
We're good, man.
Steve Cavino
What's up? Great. After I redeem myself just now.
Rich Davis
What you got?
Listener
Well, I'm only 28, so I'm gonna go with Family Guy for my favorite old school cartoon.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, Rich is right, though. The clips. I see the clips and they're always really funny.
Rich Davis
It's a show to me.
Steve Cavino
I can't deny it.
Rich Davis
You know, there's certain comedians where you see so many clips of them and you're like, I. I'll give you a great example. I've never. I've never watched or listened to full episode of Andrew Santino and Bobby Lee on their podcast, But I've seen 5,000 of their clips. I've never watched a full Matt Rife stand up comedy show, but I've seen a thousand clips. I feel like Family Guy to me is that I feel like I've watched 10,000 Family Guy clips in my life.
Steve Cavino
And they're all good and they're all great.
Rich Davis
So maybe I should, you know, watch the show. All right, let's say hi to.
Steve Cavino
If it was a Mount Rushmore, I'd say that have to be the fourth as far as adult based cartoons.
Rich Davis
Jarrod. Jared in Indiana. What's up, Indianapolis?
Listener
How's it going?
Rich Davis
What's up, brother?
Listener
So I've got a couple. The first one's more of a skit, but it was the ambiguously gay duo Ace and Gary.
Caller
Saturday TV Funhouse.
Rich Davis
We got people hitting us up saying, Ace and Gary.
Steve Cavino
Yeah. Rich and I were Ace and Gary for Halloween in the early 2000s.
Big Mike
That was an easy costume for you guys.
Rich Davis
Yeah, we were just ourselves.
Steve Cavino
Yeah.
Listener
And then the other was. You were just talking about some big fights. Well, there was the MTV Celebrity Death Match.
Rich Davis
I'll give you that. I'll give. It's not. It's not animation. It's claymation. But I'll give you. I'll give it.
Steve Cavino
That was a fun one.
Rich Davis
All right, let's go to Tom and Rochester. What's up, Tommy?
Listener
All right, so I got a bunch for you. I got a Mount Rushmore for Simpsons because obviously they're OG.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Listener
And that's the reason I leave south park off, because as they said, Simpsons did it. They're like a rehash.
Steve Cavino
Yeah.
Listener
And then we got Metalocalypse, because so people who are so critical to the plot line, who are so stupid about what goes on in their own lives. Hilarious. And then we got Boondocks, just absolutely topical and hilarious. And my special mention for stoner comedy is Robot Chicken. But my other one I want to add on to Mount Rushmore is Archer, if you're an old school fan.
Rich Davis
People love that one. Yeah, people love that one.
Big Mike
Yeah, Archer is a good one.
Rich Davis
Let's say hello to Montana. Craig. What's up, buddy boy?
Steve Cavino
Craig. Hey, guys, what's up?
Listener
This one goes out for all the dancers out there. Stripperella.
Steve Cavino
Ooh, sounds hot, but I don't know it.
Rich Davis
Stripperella. You don't know Stripperella.
Steve Cavino
No, but I want to you get.
Rich Davis
With her in the early 2000s, I think.
Steve Cavino
I know.
Rich Davis
Yeah.
Steve Cavino
I think it may be some girl I dated.
Rich Davis
Let me give you a couple. I don't. We're going to go to DB for an update. We'll get to other stuff, but a couple I left off the board because I was giving you guys a chance. I'm surprised no younger kids said Rick and Morty.
Steve Cavino
For sure.
Rich Davis
Rick and Morty.
Steve Cavino
T shirts you see everywhere. It's always represented.
Rich Davis
Pickle Rick. I feel like if you're 20, 30. Ish. That demo loves Rick and Morty.
Big Mike
That in Bob's burgers.
Rich Davis
Bob's Burger. BoJack Horseman. Is that one.
Steve Cavino
How about when, you know, years ago. Aqua Teen Hunger for us. You know, people are always quoting that. I'm surprised that wasn't brought up and.
Rich Davis
One that aired, I think, for many years. Futurama.
Caller
Love Futurama.
Rich Davis
With the voice of who I was. Sam.
Caller
Katie Seagal.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, I was going to say Sagal.
Rich Davis
Not Sagal.
Steve Cavino
Hey, by the way, again, appreciate all the feedback. Happy birthday to SpongeBob. The rest of your answers and nominations at Covino and Rich at Fox Sports Radio.
Rich Davis
What about American Dad?
Steve Cavino
What about it?
Rich Davis
Put that in. Is that like, honorable mention, too?
Caller
An offshoot of family.
Rich Davis
An offshoot of Family Guy. Same vibe.
Steve Cavino
It deserves a mention for sure.
Rich Davis
That alien was always funny. All right, let's do this jersey thing, and then we'll go to DB for an update. I refuse to look because I'm like, I want to play along and fairly play along.
Big Mike
Yeah.
Rich Davis
There's a list of the top 10 selling jerseys based on the NFL draft, for sure.
Big Mike
This is from Front Office Sports Today, exactly a week after the first round of the NFL draft. The top 10 selling jerseys of the 2025 draft.
Rich Davis
All right, now, what's interesting enough? I'm not sure if some of these guys even know what number they're going to be yet, but I thought this was an interesting story. I heard Jonas talking about it on Two Pros and a Cup of Joe here on Fox Sports Radio. Abdul Carter, he had the huevos to ask Lawrence Taylor if he could wear number 56. That's a story in itself.
Steve Cavino
Well, that dude's out of his mind.
Rich Davis
I mean, I love the response from lt, which was sort of like, yo, young man.
Steve Cavino
Negative.
Rich Davis
Yo, young man, create your own legacy.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, that's the weakest request.
Big Mike
He is on the list. Number seven.
Rich Davis
Perfect. There we go. Abdul Carter, number seven.
Steve Cavino
Well, number seven's taken he can't have it. I don't know, man. He overstepped there.
Big Mike
Let's see who you guys think is up at the top.
Steve Cavino
I'm gonna throw dart out there just because I had imagined a lot of New Yorkers would jump on that.
Big Mike
Dart is right above Abdul Carter.
Steve Cavino
Okay.
Rich Davis
All right.
Steve Cavino
Dart.
Rich Davis
I mean, just a little. Get it out of the way. Cam Ward.
Big Mike
Yeah. Number two on the list.
Steve Cavino
Okay, so then let me get this out of the way. Number one has to be Shadore.
Big Mike
Shador is number three.
Steve Cavino
Oh, wow.
Rich Davis
Dan Beyer. Chime in.
Danny G
I would think Ashton Genty's got to be popular.
Rich Davis
Oh, that's again.
Big Mike
That's a good guess. Number four.
Rich Davis
Wow. Hold on.
Steve Cavino
Then what's number one?
Big Mike
Think about it, because you could wear the jersey on both sides of the ball.
Steve Cavino
Ah, Hunter.
Big Mike
Yes. Travis Hunter.
Steve Cavino
You know what?
Big Mike
That's number one.
Rich Davis
Crazy dude.
Steve Cavino
That's really dope. Good for him. He's got the number one selling jersey a week after the draft.
Big Mike
Any more guesses?
Rich Davis
I am going to guess because they've been itching for a wide receiver for a long time. Golden on the Packers.
Big Mike
Yes. Right underneath Abdul Carter at number eight. Great job.
Rich Davis
You know, because if you're. If you're in Green Bay, other than Jordan, love, what jersey are you getting so golden. I like that.
Big Mike
Think of another wide receiver in Big Mike who doesn't run this place.
Danny G
He'll be down.
Rich Davis
McMillan.
Big Mike
Yes. Right under Genty at seven.
Danny G
You have to think skill, position players.
Rich Davis
Yeah. Oh, man, we're missing number nine and ten.
Big Mike
Think of a player who was also crank called or prank called, as we say. Crank called, I think.
Rich Davis
Can I just say the other dude. Yeah.
Steve Cavino
Not Shador, but the other guy.
Big Mike
Tyler Warren.
Rich Davis
Yes.
Big Mike
Of the colts.
Steve Cavino
Wait, number 10.
Big Mike
Nine. And number 10. The other tight end, Colston Lover.
Rich Davis
You know what?
Steve Cavino
Congrats to all of them. And especially Hunter. I would have thought, honestly, with all the Shador controversy, that would have been the number one. Easy. Number one answer. So little twist. There it is. Travis Hunter with the number one.
Big Mike
Not bad, though, to get picked 144 and have the number three top selling jersey.
Rich Davis
That was. That was predicted, though. I mean, he's going to come with hype and that's why I still believe that we are going to see him start for the. For the. I was going to say New Orleans Saints. That was a prank. We're going to see him start for The Cleveland Browns.
Steve Cavino
$100,000.
Rich Davis
Sorry. I'm sorry. All right, let's get a damn Buyer for an update. DB what's going on my friend?
Danny G
Guys, we are getting closer and closer to tip off in Detroit between the Pistons and Knicks. It's game six of their playoff series. Eastern Conference first round action with the Knicks up 3 2. Knicks couldn't close it out in five at home. We'll see if they do it on the road tonight in six. Game six between the Nuggets and Clippers is at 10:00 Eastern Time in the Western Conferen. Clippers trail that series three two, but hosting this evening at Intuit Dome. ESPN reports the Phoenix Suns are promoting vice president Brian Gregory to be their general manager. That means former GM James Jones is going to take on a senior advisory role within the franchise and you won't be seeing Tyrese Halliburton's dad around in the NBA playoffs. John Halliburton will not attend Pacers playoff games for the foreseeable future after he met with the Pacers front office and accepted the outcome of not attending games. This following his antics of taunting Giannis and Ted Akumpo after the Pacers beat the bucks in game five this past Tuesday. CJ Cup Byron Nelson Scotty Scheffler is the first round lead. He's just wrapped up his first round. He stands at 10 under par alone in first. Rodriguez has been scratched from the Kentucky Derby because of a foot bruise. The 12 to 1 favorite was slated to start out of the number four post now will not run Coming up on Sunday Day Baseball Cubs beat the Pirates 83 Royals down the Rays 8 2. White Sox plank the Brewers 8 nothing. Ace took three or four in Texas beating the Rangers today 3 nothing. Diamondbacks doubled up riches Mets 4 to 2, Reds down the Cardinals 9 1. It's been raining on and off in Cleveland throughout the day. The Twins now lead the Guardians 32 as they play in the 10th inning heading to the bottom half of the 10th. Guys, back to you.
Rich Davis
I've been watching the last couple of days. Diamondbacks have a good squad. They get overlooked because they're in that jam packed NL west where you know, you got the Dodgers, Padres, Giants. I would not be, I would not be shocked. In fact, I could promise you I think two of the three wild card teams are going to come out of the NL west and it wouldn't be tremendously crazy to me. Let's say Philly or Atlanta doesn't pick it up or the Mets struggle or something. I think you might see an unprecedented three teams get wild cards in the same division.
Steve Cavino
And speaking, you know why?
Rich Davis
Because teams don't play their own division as much as they used to. The schedule is more balanced. So it wouldn't be crazy to see four teams in the same division with 88 to 100 something wins. That's not out of the question because of the balanced schedule. It's like a, you know, free for all now.
Steve Cavino
And speaking of the NBA and the games tonight, Nuggets, Clippers, Danny G. Now that your Lakers are out, what's your rooting interest? Because we're going to talk about that in 20 minutes on Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. Over promised. I was rooting for the Lakers too, and I have my theory on, well, what I'm rooting for next. What are you rooting for next? Cause you're not rooting for the Clippers.
Big Mike
No. In the night. Well, I told you guys as a kid watching TNT and TBS and, you know, loving New York hip hop, I had a soft spot for Anthony Mason, John Starks and the Knicks Patrick Ewing. So I'll always kind of check out what the Knicks are doing, especially with Carl Anthony Towns, big guy hitting those long threes as we saw in the last playoff game the Knicks were in. So, yeah, I think I'm going to cheer on Cat.
Steve Cavino
All right, cool. Good to know because we posed that question. We break it down in 20 minutes on Fox Sports Radio's YouTube page. If your team's not in it, well, then what are you rooting for? We'll give you reasons to root.
Rich Davis
All right, cool. We'll get to that. And coming up in just a little bit before we get out of here, some pretty cool sports records have been broken on this day. What are they? And what was the coolest one that you sort of witnessed in our lifetime? Like what? What stands out to you is like, yo, I can't believe we got to witness blank. We'll get to that next Kavino and Rich right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Steve Cavino

Rich Davis
Wow. Look at her strutting in with her Clipper shirt on.
Steve Cavino
I wonder if she's better than us.
Rich Davis
I wonder if she hears me, why.
Steve Cavino
She thinks she's better than us.
Rich Davis
Look at her strutting around. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Monty Belano for the Clippers. I got to wear their Monsieur Clipper shirt on.
Big Mike
That jersey has never been hung up.
Steve Cavino
Those clips don't lie, bro. Come on, man.
Rich Davis
How long will it take for her to realize we're talking about her? Anyway, Clippers nuggies. That's going to be a good one tonight. I want to bring up something I saw that was really funny on social media. And then Danny G. I know a couple records are broken today, but that New York quarterback room, my goodness, the personalities. I mean, I almost feel like they've done it right. The Giants hard knocks, but how would you like to follow around? Not only cringy Russell Wilson, Jackson Dart, who is a young stud in the making.
Steve Cavino
Tommy Cutlets.
Rich Davis
Tommy Cutlets, who's still there, technically. And Jameis Winston, who has really embraced his new ventures in New York. Did you see him learning the word gabagool?
Steve Cavino
I did, yeah.
Rich Davis
This is hilarious from the Sopranos.
Big Mike
But Thanksgiving, that's gonna be epic.
Rich Davis
Oh, gobble, gobble. I tell you what, Jameis Winston, I don't care if he plays another half a season. Two years, five years as a backup. He is. He's going to make more Money the way McAfee and some of these guys, Tony Romo, made more money in the booth afterwards.
Big Mike
Oh, yeah, he's already been a great correspondent in the super bowl for Fox Sports.
Rich Davis
Dude, Fox Sports, cbs, NBC, someone is itching for a scratch. They're itching for Jameis Winston to be like, I'm done playing. So they could be like, all right, you're the official NFL, NFL correspondent.
Steve Cavino
You know what I got out of it? It's funny, but it shows me. He never watched the Sopranos. If he doesn't know what gabagool is.
Rich Davis
Gabagool.
Steve Cavino
It's on an episode. They didn't say it.
Rich Davis
Gabagool.
Steve Cavino
Woke up this morning, got some gabagool.
Rich Davis
For people don't know it's a cured Italian meat. Capicola.
Steve Cavino
Then I Woke up the next day and got more gabagool.
Rich Davis
Gabagool.
Steve Cavino
All right, so on this day, guys, we're reminiscing a lot. Throwing it back on a Thursday.
Rich Davis
Not only did gladiator come out 25 years ago, feel old yet in the year 2000, gladiator really? Couple sp.
Steve Cavino
Is that when you had that Caesar haircut? That Gladiator haircut of yours?
Rich Davis
You probably had that guido haircut.
Big Mike
Yeah. One record was set and one was broken.
Steve Cavino
Yes, exactly.
Rich Davis
What do you got, Danny?
Big Mike
On this date in 1939, our great grandparents got to see Lou Gehrig play his final game of his 2,130 in a row games. And of course, it came to an end, sadly. But, yeah, he set that record that Cal Ripken Jr. Finally broke in 1995.
Rich Davis
Why did he sit out that game? Was there a reason for that final game? He, like when he finally missed a game.
Steve Cavino
Joking. You.
Big Mike
You don't know.
Steve Cavino
That's why he said, sadly, ended.
Rich Davis
Did he pass away?
Big Mike
No, no, but he had to retire.
Rich Davis
Because his own disease. But that was like. That was the day. And then he never played again.
Steve Cavino
Yeah. 2,130 games. The OG original Iron Man. And then we all remember when they dropped the banner and Cal came out and he played 2,131 and.
Big Mike
And a record was broken today, 1991, Ricky Henderson passed the great Lou Brock with his 939th stolen base.
Rich Davis
Does every human that's alive today remember him holding up the base?
Steve Cavino
Dude.
Big Mike
Yes, sir.
Steve Cavino
Well, Danny G. Posed the question. We've all been alive to witness some great moments in sports. Records are always broken. That's the beauty of it. Right? You see something new all the time or a new record, like, whoa, someone pushing the limits. He said, which one stood out to you the most? Like, the most memorable memory? And. And honestly, it's the Ricky Henderson one. Him holding up the base for sure. And he's like, I'm the greatest of all time. You're like, man, he beat Lou Brock. That's crazy.
Rich Davis
And for the record, I knew Lou Gehrig had his own disease. I just didn't know if, like, something had.
Steve Cavino
Today, today.
Rich Davis
I didn't know if maybe, like, he had a bad foot for a day. I didn't realize the disease took him out. And that was it.
Steve Cavino
Now I'm pretty certain. Now you're confusing me.
Rich Davis
My apologies.
Steve Cavino
No need to.
Big Mike
Well, none of us were around at the time.
Rich Davis
Yeah, you know, I mean, I'm.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, it's all good.
Big Mike
We assume that that Was the end because of his condition.
Rich Davis
I'll give you one. As a Niners fan, I'll be selfish. I remember when Jerry Rice highway. I remember the call was highway. One on one belongs to Jerry Rice. Next exit, hall of fame when he broke the receiving and then the all time touchdown record.
Steve Cavino
Jerry. Well, first of all, it's a little watered down. You know why? Because he holds so many records. I know that's the only thing. But it's totally burnt in your memory because you're a 49ers guys. And that famous call for sure.
Rich Davis
Do you remember the. I mean, in our lifetime, the home run chase. But then again, it was dampered because of, you know, McGuire and Sosa chasing Roger Maris because of the steroid stampering at all. But at that time you were watching Sosa McGuire every day.
Steve Cavino
Well, the one that stands out to me, we were talking about it in the kitchen, Danny and I. First we were talking about Gabagool and then we were talking about Mark McGuire. Man, when he.
Rich Davis
That line drive, that line drive home.
Steve Cavino
Run, you know, you're thinking, oh, he's going to hit one in big Mack Lane. He hits a line drive and he's so pumped about it the whole marathon.
Rich Davis
He almost missed first base.
Steve Cavino
He. Yeah, he does miss first base and goes back. Yeah, like to me, that is another one that stands out. That's second to me after Ricky Henderson.
Rich Davis
So you know what? Based on what you just said, I think if everyone in this room has Ricky and McGuire in the top.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, that's my one.
Rich Davis
Is there a. Is there a third that comes to mind in sports, like a record? We saw Cal Ripken, maybe.
Big Mike
While you think about that Pete Rose for the older audience or the, you know, I guess people in their 50s. As a kid, you'd remember Pete Rose breaking the hits record. Now again, while you think about that really quick, I'm sorry, Kavina. I just wanted to say, Rich, I looked it up for you and it says, yeah, the Iron Horse took himself out of the lineup for a game on May 2, 1939, after he started suffering from the effects of ALS.
Rich Davis
Oh, wow.
Steve Cavino
Yeah, that's. That's sad. Like, there's a lot of ones that we witnessed. Mike Tyson became the youngest heavyweight of all time. Right. We know the highlight, but I don't remember watching it thinking like, oh, man.
Rich Davis
So it's a great deep thought, Danny. And I think the fact that we all think McGuire, Ricky Henderson is ones and chime in. Add to it at Kobe Nonrich at Danny G Radio. I will see you on over promised Arriba Energy baby.
Steve Cavino
See you in the over promised land. Let's go.
Big Mike
