I'm not saying to hold a grudge. I do love second chances. I do love people changing my mind. That's fine. But I have not forgiven Will Smith. I haven't. I think he's a jerk. I think he's a big spoiled jerk. I think his wife put him in a weird spot. And he reacted on the biggest stage. I just hated that moment because it was so humiliating. It was a bully type of moment. When he slapped Chris Rock. Why am I talking about Will Smith? Because he has a new album out, and the whole thing is, I'm never gonna forgive him for that stuff he did. He's rapping about it.

The name of the album is based on a true story. And the first single and video is Barbershop. And, yeah, he's singing about me. I don't forgive him unless Chris Rock forgives him. But who else won't I ever forgive?

Number one answer on the board. Can I give her a couple honorable mentions and then leave the rest for you guys? I think because of COVID I don't hold it against him, but there are plenty of people that never looked at Aaron Rodgers the same way. And I think that was the slippery slope into the whole eye roll that he gets now. It all started with the yo, you vaxxed, immunized and all that. That was like, step one in the. Aaron Rodgers is an interesting guy deep down.

[Danny G]

People don't forgive him for lying.

[Covino]

Yeah.

[Danny G]

About his vaccinations. Like, he was lying about it or dancing around it, I should say. Right?

[Covino]

I mean, Ray Rice, domestic violence. A lot of people don't ever look past that, Ryan. I know.

[Danny G]

Here's the thing. Here's the beauty of it. You don't have to forgive anybody either.

[Covino]

That's the truth. You don't have.

Hey, you don't have to.

I mean, you saw the reaction on the first ever live Monday Night Raw when Hulk Hogan came out there. I know. Our buddy, Big Sexy Ryan running the boards today. He was the number one answer for him when it was who do you never forgive? Hulk Hogan. Some people will never forgive the Hulk.

[Rich Davis]

No.

[Covino]

He can go to hell.

[Danny G]

Well, you know why, too? Because so many people loved him and he sort of let. Let you down. You know what I mean, by showing his colors in that moment.

[Covino]

Yeah, I don't think it was. It was, say your prayers, eat your vitamins, say the N word was not in those original demands.

[Danny G]

That's why. Yeah, it, like, hurt people's feelings.

[Covino]

But my number one answer on the board. I challenge you. I thought Hogan was challenge you to have a better answer than this. Because what do people love more than humans, pets, and Michael Vick? There are people that no matter what this guy does, he could volunteer for every animal foundation, donate millions if you wanted to. There's still people that, when you say Michael Vick, they're like that son of a bit like there's people that will forever hate.

[Danny G]

And I won't ever debate that because I know you're right and what he did was inexcusable. But I feel like I've moved past it.

[Covino]

I have.

[Danny G]

I think he's done a great job of putting some good PR out there and reinventing his image and being a good guy and learning from it.

[Covino]

I'm telling you, it's not my answer because I also agreed. Feel like you feel. But there are people, there's a world of people that are like, I care about pets more than humans. And for those people, you know, you hurt little Wiggles the dog. There's no coming back from that. You know, there's. You could say that people are more likely to forgive John Rocker, who was an open racist.

[Danny G]

Eight. Michael Wick for the Herd. Eight. Seven. Seven for the Herd. Again. Will Smith is on my S list. I just think he's a jerk. You know who else I think a jerk?

Well, she got there.

[Danny G]

Araldes Chapman. Chappie is crappy. I don't like him. Never liked them. Came in with all the swag like he was going to be the guy and did nothing for the Yankees. But, but, but sweat. He sweated on the mound. We sweated watching the guy every time he was on the mound. It's like a nail biter. They had to put a tarp on the mound for all the sweat he was having. And. And if you remember in a 2022 ALDS, he was a no show to a mandatory practice and didn't make the roster as a result because all of all the havoc he was causing in the clubhouse. Remember he's having problems with Boonie. Remember Chappie and Boone were having problems. It's just I know what he did with the Cubs. I know what he's capable of. I know he's a flamethrower. Never liked his attitude. I don't forgive him for not showing up and exposing the bullpen when the Yankees needed him the most. You know, Do I cry about it at night? Has my life moved on? Absolutely. I'm just telling you I haven't forgiven him for it. Raw this Chapman. Not rooting for him as a red suck.

Oh. So if you're talking sports. Yeah. Who is unforgivable? We'll do it again. Remember, like an on field. But see, can you forgive a blunder.

[Danny G]

Because he left the bullpen hanging because he didn't show up. When you're getting paid that kind of money and you're not showing up to support your team, like physically, just not even there. Beat it. I don't forgive you now.

[Covino]

A costly error. It's hard to hold against someone like. I always thought it was terribly unfair.

[Danny G]

I think mental errors are hard to forgive.

[Covino]

I feel like he got redemption on curb your enthusiasm. And then when the Red Sox finally won, unfortunately to me, it was too late then. But Bill Buckner was a great ballplayer his whole life, and a city hated.

[Danny G]

Him for an error that he's forgiven.

[Covino]

Physical errors are easier to forgive.

[Danny G]

Is the bonehead errors that. The mental errors that are hard to forgive. So you know an Aaron Judge. I forgive Garrett Cole not covering first. That's harder to forgive. Juan Soto. Can't forgive him. Can't forgive him because he's a bag chasing a hole. That's why I don't forgive Juan Soto. Do I hate Juan Soto? No. Am I tuning in to watch him strike out?

You better believe it.

[Danny G]

He had the chance to run it back with the Yankees. He's leaving the Yankees with unfinished business. That's what bothers me. I get this unfinished business. And he chased the bag to play for the Mets. I can't forgive him for that.

Not to forget you. I feel like you harbor.

Well, why do I have to.

[Covino]

I feel like you harbor worse feelings for Juan Soto than your ex wife. It's odd. You have this inability to understand that maybe the Mets offered him something more than money that the Yankees couldn't.

[Danny G]

No, it was all about money. You fooling yourself to think that it's anything else other than money. It's money. 100% about the money.

[Covino]

And he says he hasn't even bought anything with that 765 million yet. Because it's about winning Kavina.

[Danny G]

Okay. Yeah. So Juan Soto is also that guy. Throw Robbie Cano on that. Because he ruined his own career by chasing the money. Any bag chasing dude on that level when they're already in a great situation, I can't really forgive or respect. I don't have to either. So I'm throwing him on my list. And Rich, a guy that let me down, a guy that really hurt my feelings, hurt me in a big way. I'll never forgive him, even though I think you do. Ivan Drago. He killed Apollo Creed in the ring, and he showed no remorse. He showed no remorse, guys. If he dies, he dies. Ivan Drago it was supposed to be an exhibition. He killed a legend, Ivan Drago. Never forgive him.

I know you said we're. This is a tough one. You know how you're saying you're allowing, you're allowing a free pass for the, the error on the field? Because I'm saying physical errors are easier to.

[Danny G]

For you don't have, you don't have to forgive them. Right. Right away. But you know, when time passes, it heals all wounds. You realize it's not like they wanted to fail in that moment.

Now let me take everyone behind the scenes. When we do our regular show Monday through Friday, we're in a different studio here at Fox Sports Radio. When we fill in for the herd, we're in a different Collins studio. That was the studio we used when we first started here. Yeah, I remember sitting in this exact chair and seeing a play on that TV screen right there. Yeah, that. Really, honestly, I'm getting sick thinking about it. Danny G. Do you remember we were on the air on a Sunday night, NFC championship game, 49ers Rams.

When Jaqueski Tart. Remember Tart? Matthew Stafford threw it in this dude's hands. Bounced off his hands and his chest. He catches that ball. Niners go to the super bowl, he drops it. Matthew Stafford, rest his history.

I see hate. You're still not over it. And that's fine.

I'm sure he's a swell fella. Hey, you know, God bless him, his family. But at. Oh my goodness, players can't forgive that.

People moments you'll never forgive. What up, music?

So there's one. This one's not personal to me because I'm not a Ravens fan, but one that people have really reacted to was the Mark Andrews one recently where he had that drop and could have been a game changing play in their playoff game against the Bills. People have continued to hold that against him. This one, I will say is someone who I've never been able to forgive and mostly in the sense that he, I don't even think is actually even really looking for forgiveness is Lance Armstrong.

[Danny G]

Oh, again, now Rich has ethereum.

[Covino]

I like Lance Armstrong. I'll tell you why. Because while yes, a liar and listen all the things he's done, my feeling is simple. I don't care if he's a piece of garbage liar, if he raised hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars for people with cancer. To me that trumps trumps. That trumps any stupid, crappy, misled so many people. But lying about bicycle racing. All right, go get your spandex pants. I don't care about the Tour de France. If he helped one person survive cancer and people wearing the silly bracelets and everything, to me, he's forgiven for any lying.

[Danny G]

That's you.

[Covino]

If I told you I was a lying piece of crap, but because of me a bunch of sick kids got healthy, would you be like Rich Davis, hell of a guy. What would you say, Kavino, if I turned out to be the biggest piece of crap? But you know, but he did save a bunch of kids from a burning building.

[Danny G]

But if you were really invested in him as a guy and then you find out he was a fraud the whole time. Yeah, I can see how you'd never forget about that.

[Ryan Music]

I think it's one of those things where you can also separate the two. Right. You can say Lance Armstrong terrible for what he did, but it's great what he also did for people with cancer and cancer research.

[Covino]

There's some kids, I don't think one.

[Ryan Music]

Has to wash out the other.

There's some kids out there that are like, my dad's alive because Lance Armstrong's research and money. And I'm sure those kids could forgive the fact that he lied about, you know, riding a ten speed.

[Danny G]

Forgive me. You know, Jimmy, who don't you forgive.

Is just like being so.

Jimmy Yu. Hit us up, Jimmy, you teno and rich on social media, on X. And he says I'm never forgiving. This is a random one. But he says I'm never forgiving Roseanne Barr for the way she sang the national anthem in San Diego. The disrespect.

The disrespect to our nation. He's never forget. He still has hanging onto that one. You know what you're entitled to. You don't have to. Jimmy.

There are people that get stuff held against him for a long time. The Dixie Chicks now call themselves the Chicks. You remember when they spoke ill of President Bush? There was a different time where people spoke politically. It was held against them. They were shunned for a long time, especially being a country artist. That side of the country was like, nope, later chicks. So Sinead O'Connor, remember she. The late great Sinead O'Connor with the picture of the Pope.

[Danny G]

The Pope. But you know what? Based on future controversies, she was sort of forgiven. Maybe too late. But after her passing especially, she was definitely forgiven by most people, not everybody. So who else comes to mind for you? I gave you mine. Chapman, Soto, Antonio Brown. Oh, for. For Ryan. Why specifically though?

Oh, I'm a Raiders fan. We traded for him. He didn't play one game.

[Danny G]

That's what I mean. Like, they have that. That's a great point. That's a good point.

[Rich Davis]

He was just a big headache.

[Danny G]

Total bust. Yeah. That sort of thing. It's unforgivable sometimes.

And then him running off the field, undressing.

Oh, what a. What a. Yeah, but you know what he means.

He's had some great tweets since. So again, you don't have to forgive these people. That's the beauty of it. But I'm choosing not to forgive Will Smith until Chris Rock does. But he does have a new album out, if you want to check it out.

My brother thought that they made you hit home runs. And in a way, he was right. He was kind of right. Yeah. Because they were on all the time.

Now here's an interesting Note. Thanks to ESPN, warriors are now 13. Oh, when they have Steph Curry, Podjemski, Moses Moody, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green in the starting lineup. 13 0.

I thought 192 was impressive enough with Jimmy and Steph. Now you're ending the whole starting five. 13 0, huh?

There you go. Also passing this along, this from the warriors themselves. Steph Curry has scored 89 points over his last two games. He joins Michael Jordan and LeBron James as the only players in NBA history over 37 to score that many points in a two game span.

And you know, Steph's scoring is significantly up since the acquisition of Jimmy Butler. So it just shows, you know, rotations, you know, gives a little jolt of energy and just changes that offense.

So no doubt about it, that's something Collins sort of talked about, which was Steph Curry and LeBron together, because both of those teams obviously made huge trade deadline deals is the phrase he used, was they were on a treadmill to nowhere despite still being very impactful players.

But some very interesting comments from Brown's owner, Jimmy Haslam, talking about Miles Garrett after this contract extension quote, we've challenged Miles on his practice habits, his actions, and to become a real leader on the team. And he has said he'll do that, and we're hopeful that he will. I mean, that seems really weird for such a great player who's had to be played for an incredibly dysfunctional situation.

You know, it's funny, he's been pretty outspoken.

They'll be without Freddie Freeman. He was placed on the injury list. Been struggling with an ankle injury since last season. He had a slip in the shower is what the. The team has relayed.

He just called it a little mishap at first.

[Covino]

Right.

[Danny G]

But now maybe it's a bigger mishap than we thought.

[Rich Davis]

Earlier in the week on Covino and Rich's afternoon slot, we did a whole topic on this. Freak sports injuries.

[Covino]

Yeah. And something in the shower. We were talking about how we all know that feeling where you ever catch yourself and you're like, oh, that could have been bad. Oh, yeah, you know, listen, we talked about Bobby Ojeda, cut his fingers off with hedge clippers. And you know who else? Kevin Brown punching a dugout wall. Like, freak injuries happen. But Freddie Freeman, I think the Dodgers, they have the luxury of being like, yeah, yeah, take your time. We're gonna win 120 games. Just be healthy in October.

[Danny G]

It's really unfortunate, though, because this is again, the. The injury of the footy he had the problem he had last year, Correct? Yeah.

[Ryan Music]

The originally stemmed from an ankle injury since, like September towards the end of last regular season. As we know, he battled through that, plus other injuries to end up being the hero and World Series MVP didn't affect his swing.

[Covino]

I mean, my theory is that, you know, he's got little kids. I have little kids. They leave, you know, their bubble bath and, you know, all these little things and concoctions they mix in the bathtub. Their little bath bomb.

[Danny G]

Little rubber ducky.

[Covino]

Dude, no, there might have been a little soap scum residue or a rubber ducky or. Oh, I blame the kids. That's what I'm saying.

That's no fun. So we wish him well. But yes, the Dodgers, obviously, even despite missing Freddie Freeman, perfect 8.0Best start for a reigning World Series champion. So, okay, Danny, I think everything's going to be okay in Dodgerland, but we wish Freddy Freeman well and hope he's back soon.

I'm going to kick it off and say, I'm not necessarily going to watch, but you might want to go. I am, however, taking my daughter, my teenage pain in the. I mean daughter and her friends to see it. Tonight. The Minecraft movie. Movie comes out.

I'm going Sunday, I got taking my kids, Jack Black and Jason.

Jason Momoa, Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Jennifer Coolidge. 150 million dollar budget expected to make a lot based on the popularity of Minecraft. And who doesn't like Jack Black and who doesn't like Jason Momoa, Am I right? And you know what else the backstory is on this? You know, it's expected to do really well, but it's also expected to be the nail in the coffin, the stompage of Snow White. If there was any chance of Snow White to come back or redeem itself. It's all over after this weekend, cuz Minecraft comes out.

Did you hear the latest on Snow White? It's, it's done so bad that Disney has now put a stop to their next live action. They were gonna, they were, they were in the works to start doing the production for Tangled live action. And they said, you know what, let's put this on pause. We may need to rethink all of our angles on these live action ones. That's how bad Snow White and Rachel Zegler and all.

[Danny G]

It's all over after Minecraft dominates the box office.

Your old pal Danny G. Clay Travis, who used to work at Fox Sports Radio, who's now outkick and everything, he made a great point that Gal Gadot is too good looking to be like the old. What would you call the old witch essentially in Snow White, right?

Million dollars. All right, you know what else I'm watching? The White Lotus season finale. Boom, bam. 90 minutes is the update. A 90 minute finale. This show has me on the edge of my seat every time I watch it because I'm keep. I'm. I'm waiting for something to happen. Nothing happens. But I'm like, all right, well, something's gotta happen. So 90 minutes we get to figure out what happens here on the White Lotus season finale. That's on hbo, Max. I'm digging the Season three in the world of fighting. Ufc. This weekend, UFC Emmett versus Murphy main event, featherweight division. Sabatini Brito. So some good fights. That's the co main event. That's on a Saturday night.

All right, here's the premise. There's 12 strangers that are in a house. And the characters, they. These humans, these real people that they cast it are fantastic. All walks of life, one person has a million dollars in their suitcase. The other 11 people have nothing. And it's a game of manipulation. Like, you have to pretend that you don't have the money because once everyone starts voting everyone off, the last person there wins the million dollars. And there's little silly challenges. Like in episode one, I'll give it away. The person was given the opportunity. Like, yeah, you're going to get extra votes at the elimination if you can incorporate these song lyrics into regular conversation.

I'll start with sports. Do not forget, Final four time tomorrow. Auburn, Florida, then Duke in Houston. We started the show talking Western Conference. Mavericks at the Clippers two nights in a row. Coming up, coming up tonight and tomorrow night and then Sunday, Lakers at the Thunder. That's going to be awesome.

What else I was gonna say, of course I'll be watching White Lotus. Oh, yeah. I can't wait. Can't wait. Watching Daredevil, man. Is it any good? It's fantastic.

Watch Daredevil and watch Reacher. Those are the only two shows you should be watching. Such a great, dumbest, yet awesome show. So unrealistic and awesome. What you got? Music, Anything?
