I earned my degree online at Arizona State University. I chose to get my degree at ASU because I knew that I'd get a quality education, they were recognized for excellence, and that I would be prepared for the workforce upon graduating to be associated with ASU both as a student and alum.

Welcome to Sharper Square the podcast. We are presented by Hard Rock Bat. We are part of the Volume Podcast network. This is the show that makes the square sharper and makes the wise guys pay attention. That's been especially true during the NCAA tournament. I am Shad Mullen. I am joined as always by my bff, my co host, my computer. You might compadre professional better Simon Hunter. Hello, Simon.
C (2:02)
Chad. How we feeling, dude?
B (2:04)
Turns out we are great college basketball handicappers because we have crushed it Last week. I think Iowa was. Simon says. I think Tennessee was. Was our brass balls or something like that. So we had him outright to win as underdogs plus money. My goodness, my goodness. That was amazing.
C (2:26)
Yeah, you know me, I. I definitely parlayed them together as well and unfortunately lost it all in the Phillies. The Phillies have just been horrible to start the season and I've been. I've been paying for it. So like I always say, don't bet with your heart, bet with your head. And bet with my heart has been costing me. But when we listen to smart people like Duck, we've been, we've been winning some money. So yeah, the wives will get into it with the Duke and everything like that. But I always talk about these, these games and it didn't work in Tennessee and Michigan. But betting the dog, whoever down 20 at halftime, it has to be profitable over the last like 10 years, like you take in college basketball, the team down at halftime by 20, you know, I, I really do think I, I, it was like 30 to 1 or 25 to 1. Tennessee, they obviously got rolled. I think they lost by 30, obviously. But Yukon, same thing. It was like crazy. I think it was like 25 to 1. Put a little on it. And yeah, that, you know, it doesn't always work out, but when it hits, it really hits big time. Right? That's why we love college basketball. So yeah, we definitely gotta dive into that one because there's just between the Hurley and the referee and you know, what's going on now with Duke, with, with, even at the end of, with Coach K. But they just keep having these horrible soul crushing losses. And like I said, I am a fan, it's a childhood team, but I'm not like a true Duke fan. Well, this will affect me. It hurt that night, but the next day I was just like, man, that I rewatched replay, it's like, those are the best, those are the best sports movements, right, Chad? Isn't that what we go on our driveway? Envision that shot. It's the best.
