You had me convinced yesterday. And then I thought about it more. I'm like, no, what was I thinking? I was drunk.

I think I do want to say that the Doug Gottlieb show, they're against your. They really took you guys to the cleaners.

Rich sold me on that yesterday so hard, and he made it sound fun, and I'm like, I'm not completely against it, Rich, but the more I thought about it, I'm like, that's stupid.

Well, now we got to listen to the Gotley bonus pod for them to just roast me. By the way, speaking of golden tickets, I saw Doug on Instagram. Does he got the golden whistle? I saw him doing some, like, they got. He got, like, great B roll of him coaching, but I feel like at practice, I was like, does he have a golden whistle?

Okay, so not the golden whistle. Not the golden at bat. The golden rule around this time of year when your holiday party's underway, because this week is our Fox Sports rad Company holiday party, Christmas party, whatever you want to call it.

You might say some questionable things.

You may flirt it up with the wrong person. Everyone's gonna be talking about it.

You just can't be the worst. And yeah, I remember there was a company party at SiriusXM years ago.

Yeah, company parties, they used to go all out now before things like budget cuts and stuff like that.

[Sam]

Yeah. Back in the day, we used to have. Wherever you worked, you had big parties. You could bring your wife or husband, you all, you could eat, all. You could drink at nice places. Now if you wanted to flirt with.

[Rich]

The hottie at the office, you can't bring your wife, dude.

[Sam]

I mean, speaking of which, think of love. Actually, the movie. You hate the movie. I love. The whole point is that they had some elaborate Christmas party. That's how the world was. Office Christmas party, a great Christmas party.

[Rich]

Then it turned into party in the lobby, and now we're actually having a good one this year. I'm excited about it at a nearby restaurant. But what's the rule? Tell everybody the rule, Rich.

[Sam]

Yeah, if your company. I guess it's optics, too, right? You can't do budget cuts and then go all out for a Christmas party. You have to be like, hey, we're gonna have the company party in the lobby. We got some garbage cans full of Miller Lights. Like, that's.

[Cavino]

We got some Jungle Juice.

[Sam]

That's some company.

[Rich]

I would say the rule is you can't be the worst.

[Sam]

Right.

[Rich]

But you also have to have a real friend that's not in competition with you, to tell you and remind you when. To say when. And to keep you off the dance floor and to stop you from doing the worm. To stop you from tying the tie around your head. To stop you from throwing up on yourself, flirting with the hottie in front of everybody. Like, you need someone. You need someone to have your back a little bit.

[Sam]

Don't cross the line with the hot girl at work.

[Rich]

Yeah, that's always a thing.

[Sam]

Don't take this as a chance.

[Rich]

Oh, and don't take weird pictures that are going to end up on the, you know, on the company website the next Monday. Don't do that.

Don't ask your bosses for a raise party.

[Rich]

Oh, don't even bring up business. I don't bring up.

[Sam]

I was just about to say that.

But, Rich, nobody ever abides by that, though, because what happens? Oh, you're the one that sends us those commercials for the podcast. And then you start Talking a little bit of work.

Yeah. You know what I think, you know, you have that commonality, right? That's your common ground. So it's bound to come up. But you don't want it to be just about that.

[Danny G]

Stare away from it.

[Rich]

Yeah. You're not. When we say you're not talking business, you're not talking, like, company raises or advancement numbers, things like that.

[Sam]

Look where the stock's at.

[Cavino]

We really should be getting raises now.

[Sam]

So you're saying I shouldn't. You're saying by the end of tomorrow's Christmas party, I shouldn't try to get us on eight new affiliates. Okay, I'll back off.

[Rich]

I would say dress appropriately. Right? That's obvious.

Don't have your drunk hanging out. What?

But you know where we learned this rule? Seriously. When we were at Sirius xm. And we still are. We do music at Sirius xm. Right? Cavino and Rich, separately. He does pop stuff. I do rock stuff. Early on in the early 2000s, we had a colleague that just made such an ass of himself. Dude, he was, you know, throwing up.

[Sam]

Oh, I'm thinking of two different guys. There's. There's two different stories. Because there were times where I would have a bunch of drinks and I. I'd be like, party animal guy. And Kevino would say, you're lucky. I'm like, why am I lucky? He goes, while you were a little out of control, you paled in comparison to blank. One year, one of the older employees got very, like, old school machismo with some of the female employees. I'm like, yo, this guy's gonna get fired. That guy made me look tame, right? And then the drunk guy, some employee got so drunk he passed out. People were taking pictures with him like he was Weekend at Bernie's.

[Rich]

Yeah.

[Sam]

Like their ass on his head and stuff.

[Cavino]

That's like Todd Packer in the office. He's covered a silly string.

[Rich]

Is it perfect? No. Would I sign off on it? Probably wouldn't. But imagine the outcry. Because guy is trying to do something to juice a game that needs to be juiced. And all the people that say this is like, sacrilege, guess what we got you. It's the young players. The young people. We don't have them. So we have to turn the ninth inning into an event where your best player is going up against the closer.

And you see no value in that.

Because nothing can change in baseball because it's not a sport. It's a religion. You all have to get your heads out of your butts to jump a guy for trying to make a legitimate change or thinking about a legitimate change. Even a guy I love, Howie Rose. This has got to be a joke. No, the loss of baseball, eyeballs. That's a joke. Howie. There's got to be something that stops it. It's got to be something that stops the erosion of this great game. You've got to make it appeal to more people, younger people. Those are the people we do not have. And you're going to crucify Rob Manford because he's thinking outside the box. You all have to grow up, and you all have to open your eyes and see what's happening with the game.

Oh, now your boy, Michael K. Now. Now you're back.

I'm back in. I'm back in. You know what? Rich really sold it. And I'm telling you, even like my high school friends, everybody that caught wind of this hit me up like, yo, this is the dumbest idea ever.

This is stupid. And I was like, well, how could we be so wrong? It sounds like fun. Okay, Michael K. Brought me back a little bit. Golden at bat.

[Sam]

If we're on the track of dumb ideas, we move past the golden at bat. We spent a lot of time and a lot of fun on that yester. I feel like it was our most fun show in quite a while. Let's move to another idea that some are saying is dumb and others are saying, yo, this is the way forward. And not just because they're my team, because it's a hot story. The San Francisco 49ers, if you're John lynch, you're Kyle Shanahan. And by the way, I looked at the schedule ahead. If the Niners win for their last five, which I don't think will happen, the teams in that division still play tough teams. I wouldn't be shocked if you want to take like a wild futures bet, 49ers make the postseason, if you could get a great value on because, yeah, they played the Lions. Outside of that, they could win the other four games. It's like the Bears, Rams, Dolphins. So it's not crazy where the Cardinals and Seahawks have to play Minnesota Green Bay like this. There's tough games there and they have to play each other. The 49ers likely, though, I'm guessing 9 and 8. 8 and 9 missed the postseason. Now, there's two trains of thought you pay Brock Purdy. He's proven that with the talent or without. He is clearly an above average NFL quarterback.

[Rich]

Yeah, I mean, you gotta give him props that even during this season where they're playing terrible and dealing with a lot of injuries, a multitude of injuries, he has avoided really all criticism. No one has won. I've never heard anyone say he's the issue or he's the problem or he's the reason. If anything, he's keeping it together and he's rising above the fact that that team's injured. So he's proven himself more this year than I'd say in previous years. One could argue that.

[Sam]

I mean, he's had some bad games.

[Rich]

But no one's not the reason.

[Sam]

No one's saying the Niners, it's all.

[Rich]

Brock Purdy's fault Kuba Stank not singing about him.

[Sam]

So the reason is not him.

[Rich]

The reason's not him.

[Sam]

But. But here's the question. When you do have aging stars, stars, stars and stars, McCaffrey not getting younger, Debo Samuel, Trent Williams is still the best, but that clock is ticking. The 49ers are a bunch of aging future hall of Famers. They have. I think they have gas left in the tank, but they can't take a road trip is what I'm saying. There's. There's gas left in the tank, but they're not driving to Vegas. They. They gotta stop in, like, Bakersfield.

[Rich]

They're gonna stop in, what is it?

[Sam]

Prem. Nevada.

[Rich]

They're going to stop by Whiskey Peas.

[Sam]

They can't make it all the way.

[Rich]

They're going to go to Buffalo Bills first.

[Sam]

My point is the Niners still have gas in the tank when healthy, but do you worry about making your team deeper without Brock Purdy? Or do you say no, no, make this team deeper. Don't give Purdy $50 million a year, maybe more. Draft a quarterback, see what the free agent market looks like for some of these. Some of these, you know, Journeyman, the 49ers are, are still in that. I think they're still in that little window where with some adjustments they could win. You said it about the Eagles. We thought the Eagles were done. We thought Buffalo was done, right? How many people? I saw Rich Eisen the other day, he's like, listen, I apologize. I thought it was the Dolphins and Jets and I wrote off Buffalo thinking McDermott and Josh Allen. That was done. They may win the Super Bowl. 49ers have the ability to turn this around. I truly believe that even without my 49er fan goggles on.

[Rich]

But next year, better off with or without Purdy.

[Sam]

Do you go forward and say we're going to make this team deep but go with a lesser qb because I believe in Shanahan system? Or do you say, hey listen, Brock Purdy's earned it. And then there's option three, which is I think a little cold blooded.

[Cavino]

Cold blooded.

[Sam]

You can make purdy play for 1.9 million and give him that one year tag. Would that be, would that be dirty?

[Danny G]

If the NFL 2025 draft was held right now, the Niners would be picking 14th.

[Rich]

Yeah, you want to take that chance? This goes back to like, is it, is it the system or is it Tom Brady? Right? Is it the, is it the coaching of Bill Belichick or is it Tom Brady? Years later, Tom really solidified the answer to that question.

[Sam]

Well, you know what, Camino, I think I've heard.

[Rich]

Not just, I think it's the combination of both.

[Sam]

Not just.

[Rich]

I think Purdy's proven that he is better than people gave him credit for.

[Sam]

No diggity no doubt. But I think what we did learn also is that the minute some, I'll be honest, like football moron, the minute some, you know, person with very little insight says, you know, there's a move on from Kyle Shanahan. I agree with not only our show but multitude of high level people that said if Kyle Shanahan was let go, 80% of the league would fire their current coach to get Kyle Shanahan. You don't get rid of Kyle Shanahan on a down injured year. So Shanahan, John lynch, that's a combo you want to keep around for a decade and build around and see if you could revamp the way the Golden State warriors, the way the Patriots, the way franchises. The only difference is the Niners haven't finished the job.

[Rich]

Well, let me answer the question before we move on. Based on the fact that you'd get the 14th pick, I'd say you stick with Purdy. I say you even tag him. You stick with Purdy, Give him, give.

[Sam]

Him the bunk deal and be like, yeah, you're sticking around for like 2 mil.

[Rich]

Yeah, let Purdy continue with a healthy 49ers team. He sort of earned it as well. He's still young. That's the other plus side of a Brock Purdy. He's young, doesn't have a lot of wear and tear. He's healthy. He'll have his team back. They'll be healthy. I don't think he'd take that 14th round chance. If you got your 14th pick chance, 14th pick chance. I'm sorry. When you have all your high profile players coming back ready to go next year, no way. That's too much of a risk.

[Sam]

What would you do is the question.

[Rich]

I think Brock Purdy was just, I don't say an anomaly, but he really sees that moment of gaining the respect of a lot of veteran players because he proved himself and he played well. To think that another young player is going to step in and be able to do the same thing, that's really asking a lot of a young player with a lot of veteran superstars.

[Sam]

Let me throw a name at you like Brock.

[Rich]

That's what made Brock Purdy special, is he immediately won everybody over and he played well. Not everybody's going to be able to do that.

[Sam]

Let me, Let me throw a name at you. And you could say, well, been there, done that, but not really. What if I said Sam Darnold? Sam Darnold was the backup last year in San Francisco. He would have done exactly what Purdy did. So your thoughts? What did the 49ers do with the quarterback position? Assuming they don't make the postseason, they don't somehow luck out, sneak in, and maybe win a wild card game if the 49ers are out? 9 and 8. 8 and 9.

Well, is there some buzz that. That Brock Purdy you think is cramping the 49ers? Is that some of the buzz, some of the talk today?

[Sam]

I just think the. The money you'd have to give him. And then you start thinking like, oh, look at the Cowboys happen when they paid Dak all that money. And, you know, you see teams eating up so much of their money with a qb, and that's been the Niners advantage. So your thoughts? We'll get to it next. Plus, we'll talk about your Spotify unwrapped.

You're always taking a risk. It's less risk, more reward. With Purdy, you know what he's going to bring you, bro? You're going to get someone else. You're taking a major risk. You're like, I'm going to invest. I'm going to get a young quarterback who may or may not show up, or we're going to get another quarterback and take that risk. When you have the rest of your team coming back healthy, what would you do? As the fan?

I want my cake and to eat it, too. I want Brock Purdy to take like $30 million, but he won't. Like, in my mind, I'm like, yo, Baker took 30. I don't think Brock Purdy's a $60 million quarterback. So my answer, that's true. On behalf of Niners nation. Bang, bang, Niners game.

I don't think Brock Purdy deserves star money. He's a. He's a really good player. But is he a star? I. I don't think he's a star. He's not a star. He's not the biggest. Think how many stars are on that team.

He's propped up a Niners team that has been crushed by injuries. Then it gives his stats, says at the time they were three and three. He has an enormous chance to prove himself.

[Rich]

I'm just surprised they ranked him so high. But that's exactly what I said. He had more. One could argue he's shown how good he is this year with all the injuries than he has in previous years.

[Danny G]

Has he proven himself since that three and three moment, though, Rich? Because we're Nick Wright and other guys I've seen lately on TV are arguing, saying he's just after. And he's basically a mirror of the stars he has around him on offense. So if they're missing, then, you know, he doesn't step up as a superstar.

[Sam]

I think you look at Brock Purdy and again, I'm not avoiding the answer. Cavino, thanks for calling me out. I appreciate that because I didn't give my answer. But my answer is simply I don't think Brock Purdy is worth top tier money. I think if he's willing to take a Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones contract he took a couple years ago. If you told Me Brock Purdy, 4 years, 160 a la the Daniel Jones contract a couple years ago, sign me up. But I don't think you give Brock Purdy $60 million a year. That's what you give a Lamar Jackson. That's what you give a Josh Allen and Mahomes. A guy that changes a bro, the.

Yeah, I would feel like. And if you want to be generous because I was being a little hard on him, you know, this guy's like C.J. stroud that you could argue better. But Brock's up There. I think brock is around 10, right? He's a top. Would you argue to say he is a. If you broke the quarterbacks into thirds? Top. Third.

But a lot of people forgot about Daniel Jones is the fact that he was the. I'm sorry, Brock Purdy was the guy in Iowa State for three or four years. When he started, there was no better guy. He was always keeping that team afloat, always keeping the team within a cusp of a Big 12 championship or in a Big 12 championship. So that, you know, a lot of people forgot about that.

Yeah, you could, you could argue that Brock was drafted way lower than he could have been. There are people that thought Brock should have been a second or third round pick to begin with, but that's not how the cookie crumbled. He was the final Mr. Irrelevant Pick and that comes with a stigma. It's like if you start in your job in the mail room, chances are you have to leave to get respect somewhere else. Because very few times does that guy get the respect he deserves.

[Cavino]

To that collars point from Iowa, a lot was expected of Brock Purdy and Breeze hall in their senior year and they under delivered. They went like 7, 5 in the regular season. I think that was partially why he dropped because they didn't live up to.

[Danny G]

They had they beat Oregon in the.

Fiesta bowl in the COVID year, the year before that.

So that's what makes him a great story, though, because he proved otherwise. So he'll get paid. It's how much is he willing to settle for and what is the best move for the 49ers? The Mike Tyson storyline this year was number one for me. I'm not putting him as like a top athlete. He had an exhibition fight. But as far as storyline it dragged out, we talked about it leading up to it. Then it got postponed. We dragged it out again and talked about it. Talked about it afterward. It just garnered so much conversation here on the show. So as far as talking about story as my number one, but as far as athlete Jake Paul, Tyson, they're not making the top five for me. But again, that's the beauty of it. It's going to be different for everybody. That's my top five stories. Talked about stories. Rich, what are your top five? And again, Fox Sports Radio Nation. Agree. Disagreeable. What are we forgetting? You know, add to your own, think about your own. Danny G. Any thoughts on what you've heard so far?

I like your storyline so far. The one that came to mind for me because here and there over a couple of weeks, well, throughout the baseball season, in fact, we talked about MLB in Oakland and sports in Oakland in general.

That was a storyline. That was a big storyline for sure.

Now my top five, number five story. Now again, this is what I feel in my heart. We talked about this. This could be totally wrong.

[Rich]

Remember that the wrapped. It's very personalized, so it makes sense.

Yeah. I mean I feel like Ray Gun, the Breakdancer. I'm kidding. That is not. That is not on my list. And you know what missed my list? Travis and Taylor. I really feel like that was more last year while we did touch on it a lot, the whole swear jar every time we said their name. That was 20, 23.

Because it culminated with the inning. It culminated with the super bowl in.

I think number four. Again, this is what we talk about on the show. My fascination with what the Niners need to do with Brock Purdy, because it goes back to last year. Like, is Purdy awesome? Is he an elite guy?

Honestly, dude, you bring up the 49ers.

[Sam]

So I feel like Brock Purdy, it.

Started with you driving alone through the desert, shouting, raising your fist at the heavens.

Purdy. When I drove home after the Super Bowl.

All off season, it's like, pretty, pretty. So Brock Purdy, definitely number four for me. Number three. If I had my own Spotify wrapped. What I think we talked about most on the show. Number three. When it comes to baseball, Otani and Judge, there was a lot of. There's a lot of who's better? Who's the MVP. They're chasing records. 50, 50. Judge. There was a time of the year where Judge was unstoppable.

And remember, the postseason was so exciting for this show in particular, too, because you had Danny G's, Dodgers, the Yankees, the Mets. It was. It was just a great postseason. And.

[Sam]

And the only one that really made it to both my list. Number two. Number two, Mike Tyson, Jake Paul. I think we exhausted the hell out of that more than any other show. On Fox, espn, cbs.

I really think that it was such a story that was in our wheelhouse of pop culture sports. The reminiscing of the nostalgia of Mike Tyson and Jake Paul being an unlikable but yet awesome influence.

[Sam]

Number one, Green Bay College Basketball. No, number one.

Number one. The Mets. Magic. Grimace Lindor. For me, that I was obsessed for a good month and a half with the Mets.

As. No, dude, listen. As Jerry Seinfeld was on WFAN in New York yesterday, and Seinfeld, hey, you know, I'm a Mets fan. And Seinfeld brought up an interesting point. Short of winning a World Series, the Mets really gave their fans arguably the most magical season you could give a fan base without.

[Rich]

I actually agree with that. It's very special.

[Sam]

Without winning it all. Without winning it all, the Mets gave that fan base more to cheer about other than the championship. It really was magical.

[Rich]

So for me, so Many amazing, like the amazing Mets moments this year for your team. So I agree with that.

But can we all agree in the room between Danny G. I was Sam Spotty, me, you, Dan Beyer. What do you think as a show we talked about the most on Kevin Onrich? Do you think it was Aaron Rodgers? Do you think it was.

I wish we had those.

It was almost just by accident because Jason Stewart made the comment that when Judge was meeting Caitlin Clark, that it was a problem for Major League Baseball, that Clark was the more popular player. And I said, hold. Sec is way more popular.

And to announce the addition, this is what makes even more fun. They enlisted Larry David to reprise his role as George Steinbrenner. You know, they always film for the back of the head, like doing a mock thing of the 1981 draft show.

So, yeah, that video is available online. The set is actually out right now. It's a 200 card set. So maybe if you get enough of them, you can find that John Elway card midweek or major.

I think it's mid. For collectors, it's major. Listen, if you watch the docu series, the 30 for 30, Elway to Marino, it is wild to think that Steinbrenner and the Yankees had Elway slated in the opening day lineup. And then an Elway would have played baseball had the Colts followed through and said, no, we're drafting you. So I think it's pretty cool, Elway to think he could have been in the starting lineup for the Yankees. The fact that he did end up winning a couple Super Bowls, went to five, proves that he made the right choice in the NFL. But pretty cool that Elway will get a baseball card.

It's. It's on the borderline of mid and major. But since Rich said mid, I'll go major because it's John Elway. And I think that's one of those forgotten stories. Like, man, this dude was penciled in there with Don Mattingly starting in right field. John Elway. That's insane. Like, a lot of people forget about that. So if a card reminds people of that, I think that's cool. But what makes it mid is they're giving cards to anybody. The beehive guy from Arizona, remember that? That was a big story this year. He got a card. So, I mean, the fact that John Elway's getting one, I think it's well deserved and long overdue. Kind of cool. Something to look forward to. By the way, athletes that play multiple sports, I'm always fascinated by. If you haven't seen the club floating around social media since Jameis Winston's like, lightening up and, you know, playing the way he's playing, did you see the clip of him and Carlos Correa playing with each Other.

In college. And there's one play people are showing where he rifles a guy out from right field. Like you can tell it's a quarterback arm in right field.

So Bryce Harper went against the 11 year old Big justice for 100,000. Harper's, of course, if he won, would go to charity. Harper had to hit a home run out of a major league stadium, and Mr. Beast allowed big justice to hit it out of a Little League stadium with an aluminum bat. I saw that. Yeah. You know, I think it's a major story. They've been playing all these seasons together and they've lost rhythm and chemistry somehow. I blame the political landscape than political divide they had throughout the election.

You blame Biden and Trump. I do.

I do. Something. Something is stirring. If they've lost chemistry somehow. They've been playing together for years. I think that speaks volumes for him to come clean and admit that on a podcast. I think more than meets the eye there.

Something's not right since you mentioned the P word. Politics aside, I'll say that we all felt a little bit of a loss after Kirk Herbstreet lost his beloved dog Ben last month, who was a gay, a staple on college game day. Well, Herb street shared that he received a personal note from President Joe Biden.

[Rich]

Wow.

[Spot]

Sharing his appreciation and compassion over the loss of Ben. The letter read sum it up. I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Ben. Ben brought so much comfort and unconditional love to millions of Americans across our nation. Went on to say that he. He Hopes Kirk can find comfort in cherishing the memories he shared. Ending with. He was a good boy. So a very sweet little nod from the President of the United States. Midweek or Major.

I think it's lovely. Major.

[Cavino]

Definitely Major.

[Sam]

Does Biden know he wrote the letter?

[Spot]

He probably. He just signed it.

[Rich]

I'm glad Rich said that. But you know what?

[Danny G]

Let's be honest.

[Rich]

I'm going to say major, too. Any acknowledgement from any president, I think is a major honor, regardless of your political affiliations. An acknowledgement because your dog died. That's incredible.

[Sam]

Listen, as major as it gets, I've said this before. I hate having to say politics aside, but it would be an honor to meet any president, whether it's Biden, Trump, Bush, Clinton, you name it. To me, meeting the president, you gotta put politics aside. It's just an honor.

[Rich]

And imagine, first of all, your dog dies. That's a horrible situation for anybody. Right. But imagine you're. Your president acknowledges that.

[Sam]

That's pretty.

[Cavino]

Pretty wild.

[Sam]

That's a major story.

And I did give props to our buddy Clinton Yates, who we worked with at espn. Yeah, he welcomed Dababy, I believe. And he got a letter from Tim Kaine, politician, and he posted. I was like, that's pretty wild that they, like, you get a congratulations from a pretty significant political figure, Mickey Mouse.

[Rich]

And what, you reached out to Clinton?

[Cavino]

Yeah.

[Rich]

I said you kiss in ass.

[Cavino]

Yeah.

[Rich]

[Sam]

He was always nice to us.

[Rich]

Well, it's Hard Knocks. Hard Knocks is back. And Danny G. I gotta catch up. It debuted last night, right?

Yeah, it's good.

Yeah. And so it shows. They go back and forth to all the different meeting rooms between the teams, and they're gonna play against each other in the same division. And so you could see how the coaches are preparing to play against their nemesis.

You know what I was doing, honestly? I was finishing wrapping up the JonBenet Ramsey docu series on Netflix. And I have no clarity, I'll be honest.

[Sam]

All these years, I'm trying to. Every night the kids finally get to sleep, and I'm trying to finish Penguin on HBO Max, which is awesome. I'm finally up to the last episode. But, you know, when you start something, you start dozing off and you're like, I can't sleep during this. It's too good. Yeah.

[Rich]

It's called edibles, Richard. Maybe you should lay off them.

[Sam]

I haven't taken edibles. I'm so tired. I haven't had to take it edible in weeks.

That's how I feel about the show every afternoon.

Oh, thanks, by the way, Cove. As Mike Tomlin and the Steelers were getting ready to face Joe Burrow in the Bengals, they give Burrow so much love. They call it the Joe Burrow plan. It's up on the big screen, and they have this whole plan about how Joe Burrow cannot beat them. They give them so much respect. And then the show goes into Joe Burrow on the practice field. And that's where this story comes from. You're about to dive into.

[Rich]

The Steelers were preparing basically off Joe Burrow. And that leads to Joe Burrow there. And he has a Batmobile on the show. Apparently he paid $2.9 million for it.

[Danny G]

It's on order. He doesn't have it yet.

[Rich]

He told his teammate, well, I saw the image. So. Okay, so I see the image. I didn't watch it yet. Joe Burrow, and people are talking about it. He pays $2.9 million for the Batmobile, and you're like, damn, for real?

[Spot]

It's a replica of the Christopher Nolan. Yeah. Dark Knight trilogy.

[Rich]

Batmobile. Just that big tank style thing. It's legit. And I guess he's a big fan. Clearly, if he's willing to spend $3 million on a Batmobile. Not the old school 60s one that Sam's referencing there, but it does make you think, like, man, it must be good to be Joe Burrow to just buy whatever the heck you want. Buy the toys that you dreamt of. It's like buying a DeLorean with all the fixings just for the fun of it.

Yeah. And here's what's crazy about it, is while it does drive, it's not street legal. So he can't.

[Rich]

Yeah, it doesn't look street legal. Can't drive it around town. Right.

Yeah, but when you have as much money as he does, he can. He can drive it around his own compound.

I mean, it's Joe burrow. Buying a $3,000,000 toy is like you buying a $5,000 Rolex. Actually, no. That's like someone that makes $100,000 buying a $5,000Rolex.
