Okay. Have you heard about this? Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. Their fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back. And Degree listened. That doesn't happen often.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
They admitted that they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason it's the number one men's antiperspirant and is back in Walmart, Target and other stores for under $4.
Draymond Green
So try it and see what the fuss is about. Head to your local stores to try the OG Cool Rush for yourself.

Draymond Green
The volume. What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the Draymond Green show with my brother bd. What's happening, dog? How you feeling?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
What's up, my bro? Good win. Game seven, Clutch. You came through. Oh, man, that was a hell of a game, man. On the road, game seven in Houston, you had 16 points, five assists, six rebounds. Defensively, it was a masterclass. This was your fifth time winning versus Houston. Was it a celebration? Because this was a tough series. Was it a celebration or was. It was like, was it like, oh, man, we just. We happy we got out of this.
Draymond Green
I mean, it's the. The celebration is. Goes as far as what you see guys doing on the court. The video that you may see in the hallway, if there's a video of the locker room speech, that's about as much of a celebration as it's gonna get now. I think, you know, like, we ain't turning up or lit that we won. You gotta move on from it fast. But there's an excitement about, as you know, and just closing out a series, right? Like, yeah. And so, yeah, like, we never take that for granted because as you know, every series is hard. Like, I don't care how good you are, I don't care if you sweep a team. It wasn't easy. Like, it's just. It's very hard to do. And so you share different moments with different people, right? Like the moment that me And Steph share there and Steve is different moment, you know what I'm saying?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Like.
Draymond Green
Cause we've gone in this place five times. I mean, we've played against this team five times in the playoffs and beat them all five times. Like we've won now two game sevens in this arena against two different regimes, by the way. Like two completely different teams. Like they were really good and got really, really, really, really.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Yeah.
Draymond Green
And then just got really good.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Really good, you know what I'm saying?
Draymond Green
So like we've gone through all of that and here we are. And so it's like that appreciation for that. Getting that first playoff win with Jimmy, you know, that playoff series win with Jimmy, like, and sharing in that with him, like, obviously, you know, he's been there, right? But we haven't done that together, you know what I'm saying? So you got that small celebration there. You got like the small celebration amongst the guys that this is their first time winning the playoff series, you know what I'm saying? Real small. Ain't no real celebration. I would say there's more of an appreciation than a celebration.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
That one felt good. You know, Houston was my team, one of my sleeper teams for the year. I gotta give a shout out, you know, I picked them. Have a great season. I think for you guys it felt like the monkey was off your back, right? As the underdog, you jump out, you get the lead in the series. But you know this team had a lot, a lot of fight, right?
Draymond Green
They did.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
And I love a quote. I think your quote at the end when you found the camera saying good night has been real. Like that was a bar, right? Cause y'all been going back and forth, you know, damn near fighting. It was a scrappy series. So the good night has been real. That was a bar.
Draymond Green
I gotta give you, I gotta give.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Your props on that. That was a bar. That was a straight bar.
Draymond Green
I appreciate that, man. That felt good. You know, it's like, yeah, it's been real, but good night. It was over. Yeah, it's a wrap. We moving on to the next one. But hard fought series, man, you know, one of the tougher series I've played in, if I'm honest.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Them boys was tough. Your boy Buddy hill went off 33 points, nine three pointers, bow time, Buddy. That's my boy. Listen, Buddy was right on time. About time.
Draymond Green
Buddy, baby. Yes, he was right on time. Buddy had like this serious ass demeanor. Like, Buddy's never serious. He had like this serious ass demeanor the last couple days. And when we Got off the bus to walk into the shoot around. I was walking behind Buddy. He was first. And I'm walking in and I could see how he's walking. Like he's walking with like a.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
That's right.
Draymond Green
And. And. But it's like a power walk, just like serious as hell. And he just kept. Like he was so vocal and everything was just so matter of fact. Like, you think he'd been in this situation a million times. Like the. He was so dialed in. I'm actually not surprised he had that game. He was so dialed in. When I saw him walking in, I was this close and I wish I would have done it. I was going to record him walking in because he was walking so powerful. I'm not surprised at all that he had that game, but it was great to see him have that game. I know the amount of work he put in and I know the amount of slander that he's caught all year at different times. And so to see him have that game on the biggest stage in game seven, like, you see how tight guys can get. Look at Dillon Brooks, you know what I'm saying? Like, you see, Houston was tight, like out there playing on the floor against him, like, you could feel it. Fred Van Vliet wasn't tight, you know what I'm saying?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
They been there before, but they were tight.
Draymond Green
And, and, and we could feel that. We could sense it. The arena was tight. Like, you could sense it. They knew what was coming. They like, not these dudes again. And everybody in the gym knew what was happening. It was the worst kept secret. And Buddy was the opposite. But he was amongst a group that was like, whatever. Like, it is what, you know, we good. Like, Steve come in like, oh, it's cool, we good. It's straight, you know, Steph do the finger roll high up in the layup line. And when he make it, he go jumping around with everybody. He made it. Everybody out there dancing. We like, we was loose. And I think Buddy was able to feed off of that as well. Where, as opposed to those guys, they went the opposite way.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
It was game seven. Yeah. You just taking game seven. Game seven, you got tightened up, you know. Yeah. Game seven is just tough because all you thinking about the night before, if you've never been in one, is like, man, I finally get to be in the game seven. What am I going to do? And you saw Houston in the beginning. Even Segun missing easy bunnies. Jalen Green missing shots. Dylan Brooks missing easy ones. Outside of Van Fleek and Thompson, those are the only real force they had. And they had to scrap. Y'all made them scrap for everything. And that's what playoff game seven championship basketball is all about, 1,000%.
Draymond Green
You know, going into that game, we made some adjustments on how to dice their zone up, which was genius by Steve Stotts. We diced that zone up, which then forced them to have to take Stephen Adams out. And that's the lineup they was doing.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
That's the lineup they was doing. The damage.
Draymond Green
Yep, man, we diced that zone up, right? So. And Steve just said it like, yo, we gotta get 50. 50 balls and not turn the ball over. Like, ain't no major adjustments to be made. But we gonna be loose. You catch it, you open fire. Like, yeah, we're going out there loose, and they're going to tighten up. He the one. So he said, this arena going to be tight. They gonna be tight, everybody gonna be tight. And we going out there, we gonna be loose, we firing, and we going to get this win. Man, it was fun, I think, you know, like you said, Thompson played with a lot of force. He. He. He. He got a chance to be special. Oh, my God, he tough.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
He tough. He living the moment.
Draymond Green
Lot of respect for young fella. He is special. The way he defend, the way he get downhill. He's. He's certain of himself. He athletic as hell.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Yeah, he is.
Draymond Green
He relentless. Lot of respect for the young fella. Man, he on his way. He's special. Singun got a lot of respect for him. You know, I've played against. I've played against a lot of guys. And I always tell people, man, in a playoff series, one of two things happen. You either completely lose respect for someone or you gain a lot of respect for someone, because you see who really real when these playoffs happen, you know what I'm saying? You see a lot of people fade. You get to see who really real. You also get to see how people act after the game, which we'll talk about. But Sengun real, man, he ain't back down at all. What I would say to him, if I was his og, he could take it right from here. Flop a little less, embellish a little less. Because with a defender like me, he doing that. My feet off that. You know what I'm saying? He real. He ain't. He physical. He ain't backing down. He got a bat, you know what I'm saying? Like. And he 23 years old. Like, I don't think we realize he young, man.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
They got a young squad.
Draymond Green
Absolutely. So he he real lot of respect for him. The way Jabari played in this series. Obviously, Stephen Adams spreading. We. We know that they. The. They the dons over there, you know, but Jabari Smith, he was huge in this series for them. He made shots, he got loose balls. You know, he tried to put pressure on our defense. Those guys. I just name all those guys. A lot of respect for those guys. Ime on how they acted after the game. You know, you see a lot about. You see a lot come out. It tell you a lot about a guy. And I didn't see. I didn't see Jalen Green after the game, but some of the guys told me that he was out there. So respect. But Dillon Brooks ran off the court. So when I say you. You see what guys is made of. He ran off the court like ain't shaking nobody up. And you was. You like, you. You. You admitted that you was trying to hurt Steph Ham, which, again, fine by me, bro. Like, I get it. We all get it when you hoop, you know what I'm saying? So if you gonna be on that type of time.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
He got on that time. He gotta be on that time all the time.
Draymond Green
You gonna be talking. You gonna be Mr. Big Bad Wolf. Don't lose and then not face the music. Don't be that guy, because again, you lose a lot of respect for guys in that moment. I had a moment with Dillon Brooks back when he was with Memphis, and I said, the dynasty start after you. And the reason I said that is because things like that. Because, bro, you like. So then guess what? Then Tyree Easton do it. He lead the court. I got love for Tyres. And his mom was talking, you know what I'm saying? My mom almost had to get out of there. You got a lot of shouting him.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Out earlier in the year, though.
Draymond Green
Absolutely. You know, I had a lot of love for the way he played, and I ended up catching him right before he was about to walk out the arena. And he was like. He was walking this way so he didn't have to come by me, but I could in my distance, I could see him right there. I said to him, I, like, waved him down and I went and I dapped him up. And that was kind of a little safe. But don't be that guy, man. Like, you don't like, teach him.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
You gotta teach him.
Draymond Green
You lose a series, you gotta teach him, right? But that's who Dillon Brooks is. You know what I'm saying? And we understand, like, you a sucker, man. You like. But Tyrese, he not you know what I'm saying? Like I said, his mom was talking, it's all love. I don't get off into that. I got a lot of love for young fella because the way he go about his business, the way he play the game, I got a lot of love for him. Don't be like that. Because you lose respect when guys lose respect for you in this league, like it don't matter and it's going to catch you in the end, you know what I'm saying? Like, Dillon Brooks couldn't come through in this series in large part because nobody on the court respects you. So anything you do, the way it's going to be looked at, the way it's going to be received, it ain't beneficial to your team when you trying to win championships, you know what I'm saying? When you trying to compete at the highest level and you that type of guy, it ain't beneficial to your team. And they catch you in the end. So they front office tried to run off and not say what's up? You know, like all that, like. But like I said, Ime 10 toes, you know what I'm saying? Big smile, hug, love, you know what I'm saying? But you know, like I said, I gained a lot of respect for a lot of guys over there. Not that I ever had much respect for dude, but just show why you don't, you know what I'm saying? And tar Easton, I still got love and respect for he a young fella.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Hey, young dude, I'm gonna tell a.
Draymond Green
Young fella, don't be like that. Don't follow clowns, man. Be careful. B.D. almost. I left the court one time after losing the series. It was right after we lost to the Cavs in 2016. I left the court, walked to the locker room, I got to my seat and for me it was just such a whirlwind. I'm like, damn, we just lost, man. And I got to my seat, I'm like, what am I doing? I got out my seat, walked back out there, shook everybody up, congratulated them, and then went back to the locker room like, don't be that guy. You don't wanna be that guy.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
You ain't lying. Healing my.

Brandon D. (B.D.)
All right, Dub Nation, y'all know what's cracking Bay Area Steph Curry showed up in the second half. In the fourth quarter, he scored 14 of his 22 points. He led throughout the game and he was waiting for his moment. Talk about his preparation or what you saw with him during the game. It felt like he was pacing himself for that time.
Draymond Green
I don't think he was necessarily pacing himself. I Think, you know, one thing or.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Being patient or being patient.
Draymond Green
He was definitely patient. But, you know, everybody been talking about the meeting. You know, I spoke my piece in the meeting, and one of the things that Steph said in the meeting, he said, control the controllables. That's essentially what Draymond is saying. Control the controllables. Control what you can control. So I know I can control not turning the ball over. I know I can control what I do on the defensive end. I know I can control getting loose balls. I'm going to control those things. And so in saying that, one of the things that Steve has said to myself, and I'm sure he said the same thing to Steph when we sat and had that conversation that everybody's talking about, one of the things he said to me, he said, it's my job to tell you what it means for you leading tonight, what we need from your leadership tonight. It's my job to emotionally prepare you for that. And he gave me some gems over there. But in saying that Steph's job last night was to not turn the ball over. And so he played such a patient game because he wasn't going to take any risk. He was going to not turn the ball over because that's what it required for us to win that game. You know what Dons do when it's time to win a game seven. They do what's required. You know, when we played in Sacramento, you know what was required of him? It was required of him to get 50 for us to win, and the Don went and got 50. Dons do what they have to do when it needs to be done. And that's what the game called for from Steph. And he was patient. And then he took over when it was time to send them boys home on their way, he took over and he did what he had to do down to stretch him and Jimmy Buckets, you know, so it was, you know, it was beautiful to see his floor game.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I like watching that version of Steph Curry. That is my favorite version of Steph Curry. He led the team in rebounds, steals, blocks. But his pace, right? His pace, even though he playing at the same high frequency, the way he was thinking about the game, the way he was involving people, he turned down opportunities for another opportunity, knowing that the opportunity was going to come back. It was magical to see super duper stars, right? Iconic players operate and paint at a different pace than everybody else.
Draymond Green
Facts.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
It was like, whoa, hold on, okay? He leading the team in rebounds, he doing all the little things. That, like you say, control that cover. You gotta cover yourself. And then Jimmy went on his own 6, 0 run in the fourth to put the game away. We see the dynamic of what Steph control in the game and what Steph can do in the fourth quarter. Then that Jimmy dynamic of, hey, you paying so much attention to Steph Curry. There go Jimmy with the misos I told you about, right? He gets big buckets because people forget that he's on the floor. For some strange reason, they forget that.
Draymond Green
He on the floor.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Cause he wind up with a ISO they don't double right, and he get to a spot and he's. Man, he's money.
Draymond Green
Yes, he is. No, Jimmy's a great man offensively and defensively, a presence. His iq. Jimmy be out there talking everybody through everything, like, yo, we do this. Just do this. This will kill him. Just do that thing. Do this. He diabolical with it, man. It's so dope to be on this side. When you play somebody in the playoffs, you get to see what's real. Obviously, we never got the opportunity to play Jimmy in the playoffs, and so to play with him and be in the playoffs, like, just get to see it. It's real.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
It's exciting.
Draymond Green
Jimmy again, it's real.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Congratulations on game seven. Moving right along. Second round. Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh. The T Wolves.
Draymond Green
The T Wolves got.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Y'all still the underdog in this series. Y'all got the T Wolves on deck. I know you seen the video. You had to see the video. It's been playing on social media. I don't know if you got your socials on, but two years ago, Anthony Edwards, he said, I want to play the Warriors.
Draymond Green
I want to get to the Warriors. Wherever they at, I want to get to them.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Why the warriors so much?
Draymond Green
I mean. Cause Draymond talks so much trash. That's pretty much the only reason. Well.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Anthony Edwards coming for you, you.
Draymond Green
Know, even if you don't have your social medias on, people gonna make sure you see everything. You got a phone on. You will see. And so, of course I've seen it, but I remember the video. I laughed when I saw the video again. That's who ANT man is. I've. I've stated on the show already, like, if there's two guys that I think talk that talk, that's young. It was ANT man and Ja, you know, so, like, that's who ANT man is, and he continue to be that guy. I respect it. It is what it is. I'm looking forward to the Series, I think, you know, he gonna play obviously a huge role for the Timberwolves. I'm gonna play a huge role for us, you know, but this series ain't about me versus Antman or who can out talk who. This is, you know, this is about high level basketball. Who gonna execute, who gonna have the best game plan, who gonna follow that game playing stars be starred. That's what this is about. So, you know, I love how the Internet try to make things like, oh, it's Ant man versus Draymond. But then they also say Draymond is nobody. So I don't understand how they like, they be a little confused, you know, but you know, it is what it is. Ant had a great playoff series, you know, in that Laker series. And you know, I'm looking forward to the mashup.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Yeah, I do know what this series is about though.
Draymond Green
What's that?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
It's about if Draymond Green get two more flavor fouls or three more Techs in the playoffs, that means there's a one game suspension.
Draymond Green
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Draymond Green
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I done told you, bro. I done told you. Maybe I shouldn't send you the last album. Maybe I should sing you the year love or R and B playlist or.
Draymond Green
Yeah, I'll take a R. I'll take a great R and B playlist. You got a great R because I had to use that to get through that rocket series, man. But bro, I got attack yesterday. I'm passing the ball like, come on, man. It's crazy.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Technical foul right after that.
Draymond Green
Elbowed me in my face right in front of the referee. Referee just look, I just took off down the court. Like, I don't understand, man. That man smacked right across my arms and got hit in the face and I got a T. Hey, I have.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
To remind you, you are also the first person making on a technical foul on offensive foul and one crazy.
Draymond Green
It's nuts. Like, so I don't know, man. Like, yeah, like, don't get me wrong, I. I do things that give me text and they can give me flavors, but I'm also not. I'm just not referee with the by the same referees under the same rules.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Like, nah, for sure.
Draymond Green
I'm just not like, by the way, that was anybody else with Fred baby. They don't even review it. Like so, you know, I'm gonna do my best not to get suspended. But at the end of the day, I'm also on a different set of rules and it ain't life Ain't always fair.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
We gotta make a better son. You can't be getting, like, two more.
Draymond Green
Come on, now. I didn't say a word to referees yesterday. I still got a tat.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Here's the thing, though, B.D.
Draymond Green
I made it a point yesterday. Even with my team. I told them I'm not talking to referees. I made it a complete point. I still got a technical file. Like, so at a certain point, like, there's nothing I can do. Like, it is what it is.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
At a certain point, you gotta think, like, the technical foul with the ref is all the way right here. Everybody else, you know, they down here on the. On their leg, but you, they.
Draymond Green
Oh, they ready.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Big technical foul.
Draymond Green
They hit you up here. I can't play the game. Worried about that. If, like, I'm. I'm gonna get. I'm. I'm gonna get an unfair shaking.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I just. I just know you and Rudy go bear. This is a matchup I've been waiting to see.
Draymond Green
Oh, yeah. Well, you know, I am a starting center now. Yes. That's my master.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
The last time I was at the game at you and Rudy Gobert played, I literally was like, man, I'm about to go get me a drink. I'm gonna go sit down. The game about to start. The game starts, I'm like, all right, let me go get a drink. I come back to my seat, you're walking off the court. When was that at Golden State? I think it was last year. Last year. Oh, man.
Draymond Green
I've grown so much as a human being since that moment. I'm just reminding you, we not relapsing. Yes.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Hey. Hey. You have a lot, a lot. And I have to give you credit. I just know you and Rudy Gobert, that's my matchup. Because it's going to be. It's going to be. I say it's going to be some shenanigans. It's going to be physicality. You know, just be careful out there, because no doubt, people bait, right? And then did you know the last time Jimmy Butler played against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target center was November 24, 2021?
Draymond Green
No, I didn't know that.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
And you know that Jimmy and the fans, they got a lot of history, so I'm looking forward. I mean, there's so many storylines with this one. Ant, man. Steph Ant coming for the icon. Draymond, Jimmy Butler, Nas Reed, Rudy Gobert. And I think Minnesota, they got a lot of underrated players, for sure.
Draymond Green
Like Dante.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Yeah. Simulator Golden State. Dante Divincenza he's explosive. You see what McDaniels did. He was balling, you know, he. He was balling. Mike Collie hit big shots. So this is going to be a game way different, I think, than Houston because it's going to be a. Probably a slower pace. It's going to be more possession oriented and whoever win the rebound, turnover, I think wins. And the three point shooting wins the game.
Draymond Green
Yeah, so it's a much different series. Even just from a personnel standpoint, like, it's a completely different series than the one we just played. You know, sometimes you get series back to back where you like, yo, we just played a team that play like this. Like these two teams play totally. They couldn't be further apart from the way teams play. Like, you know, and so it's a completely different series that we're going to have to make an adjustment to. I think we're a completely different team than the Lakers that they'll have to make an adjustment to, you know. So like, as you know, once you get to the playoffs and second round conference finals, it's all about adjustments. Obviously, players got to play great, you know, but you get in those first two, three games, you're figuring them out, they're figuring you out. You know, we just got to come out, we got to play hard, we got to stick to our principles, you know what I'm saying? And you feel the series like that Scholar report gets more and more in depth as the series goes. You know, sometimes you start a series off and you like, yo, we gonna do this with this guy. And before you know it, three games in, you like, yo, we actually going total opposite of that like we wanted. And so that's just the way the playoffs are. So we'll fill that out, you know, over the course of the next, you know, two, three games. But playing hard is what gets you in to start the series. And then you have to play hard with the IQ and with the, you know, with the understanding of what they're trying to do.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
So bingo.
Draymond Green
That's where we at with it.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
It's almost beneficial to come in right after Game 7 into a new series. Cause you already used to the contact playing against a team that, that is polar opposite. I feel one, Minnesota is a better matchup for you guys on paper. Like, y'all match and mesh well. Coming out the Houston series, that was, that was not the best matchup because of their youth, the athleticism, the length.
Draymond Green
Right.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
The way they, the way that they attack. You got two big seven footers I like this Minnesota matchup. I'd like to talk about real quick preparation. Cause you've been on like you've been on both ends coming out of game seven, going into a game one, sitting back for a game one, watching a game seven and scouting a team defensively in preparation. Which one do you favor?
Draymond Green
I think for me I'd always favor the rest. Being able to scout a team, have longer time to prepare. They didn't get too much time to prepare because in a sense they had to prepare for both as well. But you know, they got a little more time to just sit back and watch. You know, anytime you can get rest throughout the playoffs and rejuvenate, it's a long season, man. I think that's beneficial. On the flip side, sometimes you can get too much rest and you can kind of need that game conditioning back and shake a little rust off little jitters. Whereas opposed to we played a day ago, you know, sometimes it, you know, you just saw it like how you feel. Yeah, like, you know, you saw the Knicks, Celtics, Celtics have been waiting. They scored the game out, you know, so like it can go both ways. I personally would prefer to rest though. That's just. I've been through, like you said, 7. I've been through sweeps and had to wait for a series that went 7. Regardless, I think anytime you can get rest during the playoffs where high level athletes, you can figure the other part out. How you thinking, how you see the series going?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Like I said, it's turnovers, rebounds and who hits three point shots. Neutralizing Gobert. Neutralizing Julius Randle. Make Julius Randle a jump shooter. Make Anthony Edwards a jump shooter. This is going to be a tough series. I think it go to distance six or seven games. I don't like making predictions because they'd be kicking my ass on Twitter every time I say something. But I definitely think this series going to go seven. I think if y'all could steal one of these first two games, Minnesota, it is different. It's different than the Lakers. They were up and they had so. They had so many motives and motivations for that Lakers series that if y'all can get game one or game two, I think it turned the series in your favor. But I definitely feel a game seven. The West's gonna be tough. I don't think anybody is in these two rounds. I don't see no sweeps, I don't see no four ones. If I do, I'd be very, very surprised. This is the matchup I've been waiting to See, I think this is a fair, a fair, fair matchup. Y'all match up well. They match up well against y'all. I have to give y'all the advantage because of experience. And then on the other side, coaching Minnesota, I watched the Laker game and they closed the Lakers out. They played well, but I saw them, they take mental dives, they take like mental breaks. And the Lakers, they don't shoot the three like y'all. That could bite them too because they play like this. They never like take you all the way out. But they're a tough team. They're a tough team and they super talented. And I think that they have because of the talent, they got a larger margin for error because they can cover defensively and on offense.
Draymond Green
That's a fact. Definitely a great railround the team.

Draymond Green
Let's move around this league real quick. We got a Knicks vs Celtics game one. Knicks go in. The TD Garden is still one. What are your expectations? How long does this series go? OG had 29, Jalen had 29. Mikel Bridges, 51 minutes. Ironman. The Celtics missed 45, three pointers. JT and Jaylen Brown combined for 14 for 43 and five for 25 from three.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I like the Knicks rolling with the Knicks. It's Knicks till I die, baby. It's Knicks till I die. Knicks tape all day, but I matchups. The Knicks match up well against Boston if Jalen Brunson can. Jalen Brunson. In the fourth quarter, Boston got problems. Drew Holliday, he was playing, he played some good defense. But Jalen Brunson is unguardable in the fourth quarter. Then you look at OG Hitting the three. Mel Bridges, he can defend. So when I look at Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, what I was seeing with the Knicks, Boston is a penetrate, drive, kick, create open spaces, open shots. Because they really got five shooters out there on the floor. The Knicks with a matchup, they was actually closing the paint down. And so every shot that Boston took, whether it was three, was three feet behind the line rarely did they get a lot of open looks and I think that kind of disrupted their flow. When they did get open looks, they rushed it or they just shot bad shots. So if the Knicks can keep Boston as a perimeter oriented team, which they are, they shoot a lot of threes. But if they can defend that three. I like the Knicks in this series because I don't feel like Boston has anybody that can really guard Jalen Brunson. And then Cat. Cat is a mismatch in the series. Cat can be an ultimate mismatch in this series. And I didn't think that he had the best game. So I'd be looking out for Cat to be explosive. And then it's a matter of if Hart, Mikhail Bridges, OG with all the minutes they plan if they can, if they can sustain. But it's always Knicks for me. I like the players, but I'm not a Boston, I'm not a Boston Celtics fan at all.
Draymond Green
Does anybody understand that? It's me Knicks tape all day. But no, I think the Knicks, like you said, I think they do match up well. I think where the matchup kind of can tilt in the Knicks favor is I don't know the severity of Porzingis injury. Uh, but Porzingis, Porzingis is a big key for that team because he punishes switches really well. And so Porzingis, like I said, if, if he don't come back, then this series gets really hard. If he comes back, I think the, the Celtics will be just fine. They can still be fine if he doesn't come back. But Porzingis makes that team really go like really take off.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
And so he's a mismatched driver.
Draymond Green
Yeah. And with his shoots four space and the way he shoot it, like Al can shoot three, but the way Porzingis shoots the three is different. It's completely different. You know what I'm saying? So I think Boston will be fine. But if Porzingis can't come back, he can get tough. But in saying that they missed 45.3 pointers and lost by three. So I don't think they going home work.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
They was up 20 though.
Draymond Green
They were and missed 45. Three pointers like so you know, I think Boston will be just fine if you want my honest opinion.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Next. Say baby. Let's go Knicks Cavs versus Pacers on Sunday. The Pacers walked into Cleveland and snuck out. Game 1. Darius Garland out with a toe injury. There's no news when he's coming back or will he when he will return. Tyrese Halliburton, he did it. He pushed the Pacers. Can they get to the next round? I like this Pacer team, man. They. People sleep on their talent. They like 89D and talented.
Draymond Green
The Cavs got some injuries. They dealing with that matters. Health matters in the playoffs a lot. They have that going or not going for themselves. They got Darius Gara, who hasn't played in three games. I think they have. DeAndre Hunter got hurt yesterday. Evan Mobley got hurt yesterday. You know, they're going in the game, too, a little beat up. And you're going in the game, too. Hobbled against a team that's doing this. Yeah, they running now. I do think they are a good matchup for the Cavs because the Cavs got those bigs and Pascal and Miles Turner don't play in the paint. Now they will go, you know, Pascal will do his thing, but they play from the outside, and that pulls them bigs away from the rim, you know, and they were. They were getting the switches on Mobley and they were getting the switches on Jared Allen, and that's what they was going for. Nimhar had a big game. Nimhar been ballin'he.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Been ballin'he.
Draymond Green
Been hooping. Tyrese had a big game. Obie Toppin been incredible off the bench, I think for the second half of the season, at least. Incredible TJ McConnell doing what he do. So, you know, they got a series on their hand for sure, and they better get healthy. If they don't get healthy, they can get upset. They can get upset, that's for sure. Nothing's promised. Regular season only means something for the regular season. And then, you know, so I like the Cavs, but they must get healthy. They. They ain't just going to beat this team. Not healthy.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Now, the patients took a page out of Cavs book, plus 25 assists, six people in double digits. The other two has seven and 15 minutes. TJ McConnell, Obi Toppet, and everybody had assists. Everybody. That means they was whipping the ball, moving the ball, finding the mismatch. If Tyrese Halliburton can dictate where he gets to the floor and draw those bigs out on the perimeter, it's going to. It's going to change the way Cleveland has to play in this series. And I would say advantage Pacers.
Draymond Green
And the Pacers been there before. Yep. You know, so we'll see. We shall see, man. Shout out to Kenny Atkinson, coach of the year. Y'all know I got mad love for Kenny, so that's my Guy. Shout out to my guy. Kenny. Job well done. Congratulations, my man.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Shout out, Kenny, man, before we get.
Draymond Green
Out of here, Thunder Nuggets. That game is actually coming towards the end right now. Thunder versus Nuggets. Who you got? Who you rolling with? You rolling with Denver? You rolling with okc? What we got, man?
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Ooh, man, got another game seven. I think this series goes seven. Matchups, matchups, matchups. OKC got the most talent and the most depth, but after what the Joker did to the Clippers, man, it's hard to go against that young man.
Draymond Green
We got championship pedigree, man.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
He got champ. They got championship pedigree. DNA, and they fight to the end. That's the only reason why they beat the Clippers. They just kept fighting. They kept fighting. And if there is a lapse in the defense or your offense, that's where Denver takes control. They play all the way to the end, Russ. All those guys play all the way to the end. So this is going to be an interesting series because it's going to be. Can OKC consistently make shots from outside? Denver gonna play zone. Denver gonna switch a lot. What is. How is Shay gonna control the game? And how can the other guys on OKC make shots and make plays for each other?
Draymond Green
Yeah, man. Nah, I think it's definitely gonna be a tough series. Like I said, championship, pedigree. Okc, dude got the most talent. I think Denver, they got that championship pedigree. Go, guys that's been there, guys that know how to do it. Jamal Murray seems to have found his, you know, his footing. So I think, you know, it's going to be a dog fight, man. You know, I ain't really into making predictions in the west, but me neither. It's going to be a dog fight, so we'll see.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I do think OKC got the wings to contain Denver, so that's going. That's going to be the deciding factor. You ain't going to be able to stop Joker, Caruso, Dortmund, Wiggins, all those dudes. Can you have a greater impact on the game than Michael Porter? Westbrook Brown, right? Aaron Gordon. That's. That's. That's what this series going to be about, man.
Draymond Green
Before we get out of here, gotta salute Coach Pop retiring as San Antonio spurs head coach. I saw his press conference today. He said, I'm no longer coach. I'm El Jefe.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
That's my guy, man.
Draymond Green
Coach Pac man, he. I actually had the opportunity to play for him in the Olympics, and, man, I got so much love for Coach Pop to See him lead a sideline, it sucks because he's one of those guys that you know the inevitable, right? Like, you know there's an end date, but you never really see it, and you never really want to see it. And, man, he's such a great person, a great human being. The fact that I got the opportunity to share and winning a gold medal with him, just such a special guy, man. I. I spoke. I spoke about him in a press conference the day that they announced it, and I almost started crying, and I'm speaking about him again, and I'm about to start crying again, like, that's. That's his impact and that's how amazing he is. So I look forward to getting out to San Antonio and seeing him this summer. But job well done, Coach Pop. You changed the game as we know it. And you. You built a dynasty. You built a powerhouse. You built one of the better organizations in. In our league. And it's, you know, the way you credit your guys in doing that with you is like the selflessness, one of a kind man. So salute to Coach Pop. Thank you for what you brought to the game. Thank you for allowing me to be coached by you and do something special with you. I hold that close to my heart. I love you, Coach Pop. Appreciate you, man. I echo that.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
We didn't win a gold medal, but I was on the Olympic team and I got a chance to be able to sit next to Coach Pop. When he was assistant coach, George Carl was the head coach, so that was one of the turmoil teams. But Pac kept me in it. Pac kept my mind in it. He was somebody you can talk like. He looked like a tough dude, but he liked the funny, charismatic, love the game and, you know, to be on the team and to see who he is as a person and to play against him and to know, like, he got respect for you is a big thing. Playing against the San Antonio spurs, the way he coached everything. When I'm coaching the kids or when I'm coaching, I always think like, Pop, if I were to coach. And now that I'm coaching, I think like, Pop calling early timeouts, sitting my style. Like, man, one time he called us timeout. We playing, man, he set the whole starting point. Get up out of here. And they still beat us. And they still beat us. And I realized that as a visionary, he was always coaching for the future. He was always prepping you for the future. He was always prepping his teams for the future, for the playoffs, for situations, different players that, that he used. And, man, just Just what an incredible basketball mind. But what an incredible leader, right? What an incredible basketball godfather to everybody. And then, I mean, as far as his spirit and his energy and. And his vision for bringing international players and putting them on one team.
Draymond Green
Yep.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I salute you, Pop, man. We love you, El Jefe. I'm gonna call you El Jefe quick to buy you a bottle of wine, like, even if you don't, you know, play on the same team. I used to see him pay for his players dinners, shit like that. I was in Golden State. He just, man. A one, A one, A one, one, one, one. Salute. Pop, we love you, man.
Draymond Green
Yes, sir. That's a wrap, man. We appreciate y'all tuning in. We will chat later on in these playoffs, but we love y'all. We appreciate the support. Don't happen without y'all. Make sure y'all grab that merch. Till next time. That's a wrap from the Draymond Green show with bd.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
Good luck. Round two, my bro.
Draymond Green
We out.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
I see you.
Draymond Green
Game three or four. I'll be up there. Say last. Let's get it. The volume. Okay. Have you heard about this? Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. Their fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back. And ° listen, that doesn't happen often.
Brandon D. (B.D.)
They admitted that they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason it's the number one Manzani purse Sprint. And it's back in Walmart, Target and other stores for under $4.
Draymond Green
