So we are in for Colin and crew here coming up on or here on this Friday for the next couple hours. Now one of the moves that was made in the NFL yesterday, one of the big time trades that went down yesterday was one involving a couple of teams who really had no choice, the Bears and the Bills. DJ Moore gets traded to the Buffalo Bills along with a fifth round pick in exchange for a second rounder in this year's draft. Buffalo needed to add something from a wide receiver standpoint, get Josh Allen another weapon. They do so in adding DJ Moore. He's got familiarity with new Bills head coach Joe Brady. He was with him in Carolina, so I would imagine they're probably not done as far as adding to that side of the ball and getting more help. And then from the Bears standpoint, you know, he just had his contract didn't make sense for what they gave him. Not before this past season, but the season before, what he was making didn't make sense based on the fact that they drafted Roma Dunes A, they drafted Luther Burton pretty high. They drafted Colston Loveland in the first round. And so they're at a spot to where they've got to shed some cap, they've got to create some flexibility. They all of a sudden have a need at center. They clearly need to upgrade on the defensive side of the ball, most notably a pass rusher. So it seems like this is one of those win, win situations for everybody involved. You get a second round pickback, you get some cap flexibility. They released Tremaine Edmonds as well too, who they were trying to shop. And the Buffalo Bills add a piece around Josh Allen and somebody who's produced everywhere he's gone.
LeVar Arrington
The Bills have needed a playmaker at the receivers position. The whole fallout of Stefon Diggs seemed to potentially set them back because I don't know that that was his production, what he represented was ever replaced. But then you think about there was also fallout with Keon Coleman. Will Keon Coleman even be back on the team this upcoming season after kind of everything that that played out in, in, in in the media as it applied to him? I think DJ Moore is, is a very, very nice piece to add to this Buffalo roster. It gives him a definitive one at that position. And now you have Cook in the backfield who sets up the pass very nicely for, for Josh Allen. Josh Allen's ability to run sets up the pass very nicely for this Buffalo Bills team. And, and again you mentioned Joe Brady. I, I just look at the way this is kind of coming together, so to speak, for, for this, for this Buffalo roster and I, I think it has the potential of being maybe explosive enough now where you could actually look at this team potentially getting further in the NFL playoffs depending on what happens when the league year starts and who's coming, who's staying, who's going. I think this is a tremendous value add for the Buffalo Bills team this offseason.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, he's also not. You don't hear any diva rumors about DJ Moore. I would say, look, they didn't. Him and Caleb Williams had always felt like there was an awkward sort of chemistry there. They did good things together, but there was no real. Like there were times where it looked like DJ Moore would get frustrated. There was some confusion on the final play against the Rams. Like there, there were times where it seemed like they weren't as in sync as maybe a Roma Dunes A. But DJ Moore you know, great reputation off the field, really solid dude. Just everybody speaks really highly of him. And so the fact that you're going to upgrade at that position and not have to worry about any of the, the stuff they went on with, that went on with Keon Coleman where it just never seemed to work out the Stefan Diggs fiasco. So you're going to get a diva list wide receiver and then you just need to add around that offense and continue to provide Josh Allen with some weapons. And then at some point it's going to be up to them whether or not they can cash in.
LeVar Arrington
There's, I mean, obviously you, you moved on and, and brought in Joe Brady as, as your oc. You moved on from your, your head coach. It's a new, new coaching staff in Buffalo and probably because they most likely potentially may have hit their ceiling in terms of what they were able to accomplish under, under old management. But I just, I think when you look at the core structure of, of this Bill's team, they are built to win, but they are a team that could potentially be approaching. What I usually use when I talk about teams is that ceiling. Have they hit a ceiling where, you know, now you got to start figuring out what do you do in the future if you want to have success, keep up with success and potentially, you know, elevate to, to a higher level of success. So I think this is a great move for the Bills. We've had this conversation plenty of times, Jonas, in terms of again, Pete Briscoe comes on and he says this is not the market free agent wise to improve your team this year. And it looks as though these teams are aware of that. And so the wheeling and dealing is going on through trades. And, and this is, this is one of those. The Bears are able to bolster what they're going to be able to do within the draft and kind of look to build, continue to build this team around Caleb Williams and mold. It looks like Ben Johnson has done a great job of foundationally putting in play with what the culture of this team is going to look like, what they could be. They took a, a very, very definitive step forward in terms of their success this season. And as I look at the Buffalo Bills, it's a team that could go one of two ways. It could either go up or it can go down. It's not profound, it's just real. They're at that moment in time where you say, is Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills going to take this team to the next level or are they going to Go backwards. I don't think they remain the same. It's, it's much like what we're looking at with the Baltimore Ravens. I think the Ravens in this Bills team are very comparable. Two teams going into this season, new leadership, new head coaches. You have a, a franchise.
Jonas Knox
Wow.
LeVar Arrington
You have a franchise quarterback in, in, in your position. You have, you have the potential of transitioning into being a, a Super bowl contending team. But can you do it? Can you do it? And then you look at what Ben Johnson did in year one, you look at what Mike Vrabel dig making it all the way to the super bowl in year one. I feel like these coaches in these positions that have a Lamar Jackson and a Josh Allen, you're in the pressure packed situation of delivering year one. You don't get year one anymore.
Jonas Knox
Well, I mean, look at Baltimore and Buffalo and it's a good point because when you think about Sean McDermott and you think about John Harbaugh, both were successful. And look, you know, Steve Bishotti was talking with, you know, and kind of making, you know, this point and doing his rounds and talking with the media and pointing out, you know, listen, you know, him, us not making the playoffs. I know Jerry Coleman, the great Ravens and Baltimore reporter out there, listener of Fox Sports Radio, good dude. I know Steve Bishotti kind of made the point to him and saying, or made the point out loud that, you know, maybe, you know, we needed to win a Super bowl or that was the only way that John was going to keep his job or something along those lines. And John harbor was really surprised by it. But if that's the case, and those are the expectations, and the expectations are we need to win a Super bowl or do more than we did or else it's going to cost jobs like it did for both John Harbaugh and Sean McDermott, then those are the expectations that those new guys are taking on as well too. Jesse Minner's taking those on, Joe Brady's taken those on. So there is no, hey, there's a learning curve. Hey, give it some time. Brand new coach Ben Johnson took over a sinking ship.
LeVar Arrington
Yes.
Jonas Knox
And so the thought was, all right, if you could just get back some credibility when a couple of more games, but at least show a foundation, we're good here. Same with Mike Rabel, Joe Brady and Jesse.
LeVar Arrington
Same with Buddy and in Jacksonville.
Jonas Knox
Yeah. And Liam Cohen.
LeVar Arrington
I mean, all of these guys came in and did bang up jobs of capturing the locker room and building what would be perceived as a successful first year Campaign.
Jonas Knox
Jesse Minner and Joe Brady took over MVP quarterbacks who, whose teams underperformed and because of which, and because of they underperformed the expectations, their coaches, the previous guys were fired and so those guys now have that to deal with. So I just, I like the move for Buffalo. It's definitely an improvement and upgrade. I look, DJ Moore is going to be 29. He's been durable, but if you've watched enough Bears games over the past couple, a few years or past couple of years, he, he does get banged up, man. Like, he's, he's always out there, but he does get banged up and he comes out. He need, like, like though his physical style of play. I just wonder how long that goes for. But they needed to do something again. He's familiar with the offense, but I don't know that I look at this and go, oh, that's going to put him over the hump. I just, I still think there's work to do and I think the expectations are going to be at a level that maybe they won't meet. And then we got to deal with the fallout next offseason.
LeVar Arrington
But it does check a box off. Yeah, it does check a box and you know, deal with that once you get there. But it does check a box. You have a definitive one at your receiver's position. DJ Moore, at 29 years old, is still a playmaker, a difference maker at the position and could give again, give Josh Allen that weapon that he needs, that big play weapon. He is a playmaker and he is a game changer with what he's able to do now. If the, the unseen, the unforeseen, the, the injuries aspect of it creep in, you can at least say you took the chance. And I feel like right now we haven't even gotten really deep into because we haven't started the new league season, the new league year. That could be the pickup of the off season already right now that could be like, what was the one move that you were like, oh, that was a big move and that made a difference. We could look back on this trade and say that was probably the biggest trade that took place in this, in this offseason.
Jonas Knox
And I also wonder, potentially, I also wonder from the Chicago standpoint, what do you do with the flexibility that you've got now? Because, you know, Tremaine Edmonds was having a really good year last year for them and then he suffered the groin injury. He's good. He's suffered the groin injury and was having a strong year. But this is Another one of those. Because of the cap restrictions, they had to make the move. Same with the DJ Moore trademark.
LeVar Arrington
If.
Jonas Knox
If you're the Bears and somehow you parlay this into Linderbaum and he's your addition at center, like, all of a
LeVar Arrington
sudden, I don't think they're getting him away. I don't think anybody's going to get Lindenbaum away from. From Baltimore. There's. If Baltimore allows for him to walk. Do you now start thinking, is it. Is. Are they potentially rebuilding in Baltimore?
Jonas Knox
So the reports are they offered. They didn't franchise him. They didn't tag him. They offered Linderbaum. Baltimore did 20 million a year. He said, nah, I'm going to go see what else is out there.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah, but that's. Just go see what else is out there.
Jonas Knox
Okay. But they could have, if they really wanted it, they could have just franchised him. They could have tagged him.
LeVar Arrington
They could. But if you can, I think he's gone.
Jonas Knox
I think he's going somewhere else.
LeVar Arrington
If you can give a guy the respect factor of saying, we're not going franchise tag you, we think that much of you, we're going to offer you this money. You go out there and if you don't want to sign this, see what the market is saying to you, and then we'll have a talk from there. I think if you're on hard feelings, if it's hard feelings, if there's not a trust, if there's not a belief, then it just goes to business. We're going to franchise tag you. You're going to be here. They did it to Lamar Jackson. They don't care about your feelings. But if they are trying to show that they do have a feeling for your feelings and that they want to try to do it in a way where it's. It's more of a team effort. It's. It's a friendship deal. And, and we move through it that way. And it's not just business. Then you do it the way that the Ravens are doing it. Right. I don't think they let him get out of it.
Jonas Knox
I'm. I look, I'm surprised it's even at this point. I thought at least you would have franchise tagged him. He's probably the best center in the league and he's in his PR. He's 25.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
So the idea that you're going to let that walk, when you rely on the run game as much as you do and you rely on. On the protection of your quarterback who's already been banged up that that would be surprising.
LeVar Arrington
You're not going to let him.
Jonas Knox
But I, I, man, I don't know. It's.
LeVar Arrington
If you're right, it's a great call. It's a great call if, if you're right. But, and then to the point that you were getting at in terms of what they're doing in Chicago. I think it also needs to be said you stated something. Maybe people didn't catch on to it. Maybe they did. They probably did. The fact that DJ Moore and Caleb had like an interesting relationship a little off. He's very, he's, Caleb is still very young and, and some of those interactions were more like big brotherly type type interactions. And, and so what, what it could possibly, you know, indicate is that they are working very diligently to continue to build that, that, that leadership role. Uncontested. With Caleb Williams, it is now heading into that point in time of his career where as the franchise quarterback and has shown that as much he's the franchise guy that we have to put him in a position where no one is undermining that type of authority in the locker room. And, and that's most likely to me the reason why it was probably the proper time that they, they dealt DJ Moore.
Jonas Knox
And look, if you, if you're able to free up this space Buffalo, that's their receiver. And with the extra cat flexibility the Bears could hypothetically get a lender bomb or go out and use this to, to deal for a Max Crosby or somebody like that. This, this is the ultimate win win trade because this does give you the ability to do that and it gives Buffalo the ability to have a number one type wide receiver for Josh Allen, which he hasn't had in quite some time. Support for the show comes from public. So it kind of feels like there's two types of investing platforms. You got the old school brokerages that look like they were designed in like 1995. Then you have those other platforms, the ones that feel less like investing and more like a casino. Public is neither. It's the investing platform for people who actually take this stuff seriously. If only people knew.
LeVar Arrington
If they knew.
Jonas Knox
Only people knew. It is the herd here on Fox Sports Radio. Patty knows levar Arrington, Jonas Knox in for Colin Jeff, you're a filthy human being, Ryan. It's just you got problems. All right, so coming up, we are going to have look at him. Another edition of the Head of the Herdline News in about 20 minutes from now. That'll be yours right here on FSR. But kind of interesting and fiery commentary from one Logan Paul, who He's, you know, not one to shy away from controversy, not one to shy away from maybe throwing his hands a little bit, if need be. He's, you know, fought, done exhibition fights. Floyd Mayweather, Dylan Danis, et cetera, et cetera. Like, he's been out there and thrown down. Currently a WWE superstar, and he's very good at it, has been very successful in his transition over into that industry. But then this conversation turned to, you know, what would it like, look like potentially against an NFL player had they thrown down or had he thrown down in against an NFL player at some point sometime soon? To which Logan Paul and his podcast Impulsive had to say this.
LeVar Arrington
What football players would straight up beat his ass?
Jonas Knox
Not a single name. Not a. No, I don't do all that. I would put. I would put any amount of money
LeVar Arrington
that you could put. Metcalf.
Jonas Knox
Not a single football player beat me in a boxing match. Miles Garrett. That is On God.
LeVar Arrington
Miles Garrett.
Jonas Knox
I would throttle Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett. I will bet you a. Why do we choose him? It could be any name, but any football player.
LeVar Arrington
Miles Garrett, Puka, Nakua,
Jonas Knox
Like, I don't. I don't even know.
LeVar Arrington
Don't even try calling out Sam Darnold.
Jonas Knox
Sam Darnold.
LeVar Arrington
Don't do it.
Jonas Knox
Doesn't matter.
LeVar Arrington
A million dollars. A million dollars.
Jonas Knox
You come to the gym, we put on boxing gloves, we see how it goes. So that from Logan Paul attacking your. Your co workers there.
LeVar Arrington
Your Logan, as in. As in my. Listen, I mean, he's.
Jonas Knox
He's going right after the defensive side of the ball. He's not messing around with a punter or a kicker. He right at Miles Garrett. You gonna let him talk to you guys like that?
LeVar Arrington
Miles Garrett is the only bad mother effer he named out of all the. They said Sam Darnold.
Jonas Knox
What about DK Metcalf?
LeVar Arrington
Dk? I mean, he could be a real tough guy. He could be. I don't.
Jonas Knox
I don't know.
LeVar Arrington
I don't know. If DK went up against a real tough guy, would he be still a tough guy? I'm not sure. He could really be a tooth chipper, though. Like, there are some tooth chippers out there in the Serengeti and he didn't name any of them. Like throw out James Harrison. You know, throw. Throw his name. Throw Aaron Donald in the mix. See if you can. And. And while Aaron Donald is. Is like more of martial arts. Hey, going to the. Going to the Octagon. Let's make it mma. Let's not. Let's not limit it to boxing. You do, you do WWF wrestling, wwe. Let's go to the Octagon with it. Like go like, let's go up in there with Panea Soul. Like, like, let's, let's do that. Go up in there with Max Crosby. Let's, let's Rashawn Gary. Like, let's go up in there with Michael Parsons or, or go up in there like name some guys. Name some guys. And by the way, Brandon Jacobs, one of my former teammates.
Jonas Knox
Oh, he used to be a boxing promoter.
LeVar Arrington
He boxes and, and he trains and he, he practices. Sean Merriman, he promotes, he, he boxes, he trains, he does a mixed martial arts, Tamba Ali. He, he does. He, he's like very close with the Gracie family and has done Jiu jitsu for many, many, many years. So what this comes down to is it's, it's a new form of shock jock, you know, impact, right? These influencers, the Paul brothers, have done one of the most exceptional, brilliant jobs of playing the best villain roles in, in influencer potentially history within the sports arena. And they are able to create these larger than life moments for boxing matches. And, and it works. It works. This is not, this is not real. This is not real in terms of the, the idea, the impact of, of going physically up and up with people. This is promoting, this is entertainment and they do an excellent job of doing so.
Jonas Knox
Now Le'Veon Bell, who's been in the
LeVar Arrington
news will put recently put his hands
Jonas Knox
on him for, for stuff that's not great. Le'Veon Bell posted on social media. Stop ducking Logan Paul. Been trying to bro. Trying to fight an NFL player that's never fought before. Let's set it up. We all heard you say you can be any NFL player. We can fight in April. The NFL draft is in Pittsburgh. We can fight NFL draft weekend. Let's make it happen. To which Logan Paul responded, A, you're not in the NFL. B, you can actually fight. So I'd have to probably properly train, meaning I'd have to step away from wwe, which I won't do, especially not for you see, there's no money here because you're not a draw. Prove me otherwise. And he said, of course you want the opportunity. I'm a gold mine for retirees like you say so.
LeVar Arrington
But, but he's right. Unfortunately for La Bell, it's, it's true
Jonas Knox
that all that's fair.
LeVar Arrington
All but people would go in Pittsburgh for draft if La Veon Bell was fighting Logan Paul. So he's Wrong about that. It would be a drawing.
Jonas Knox
Now, earlier today, Logan Paul posted on X. He said, My $1 million open bet to fight NFL players has an uproar. Here's the update. Nobody is willing to put a million dollars in escrow and be flown here to Puerto Rico, all expenses paid, and boxed with three professional judges. They all want to formalize this with a streamer, venue, press conferences, et cetera. I. E. Get paid to fight but not risk their own money. But I don't have time nor interest in that. I won't step away from WWE to coordinate and train for an event. But if any player wants to actually put up a million dollars and fight at my gym with official referees and judges, show yourselves. That includes you, Le'Veon. Also, if they want no cameras, I'm down. So it looked like he's just looking for a fight. You know, he just wants to fight.
LeVar Arrington
He's not. He's looking for what he's getting, and it's brilliant. You're getting national attention for doing it. Sean Merriman just proposed having boxing matches, fighting matches, mm, MMA matches on NFL Network. He just proposed this not too long ago. I'd be shocked if Logan Paul didn't catch on. And because those guys all run the same circles, I would be shocked if. If Logan Paul didn't hear Sean talking about it and beat him to the punch. In terms of getting national exposure for calling out football players, I think it would be interesting if there became a fight league where former players could actually fight and fight on NFL, NFL platforms. I think it would be a great idea. Some of these guys still want to compete. How do you compete? You're not going to compete in the game. You're not going to continue to be an active player. But guys still stay in shape, do a lot with their bodies, train, coach, do a lot of different things. Why not create an outlet for them to be able to. To. To still compete and it be monetized? Like, I. I think it would be a great idea. So I don't think this is about Logan Paul trying to. To really thump. If, like I said, if a guy like Panaya Sewell put up a million bucks in escrow, which, by the way, a million bucks is a lot of money. It's a million bucks, but I'm putting up a million bucks to come fight you. Like, like, I would want to make it a bigger deal. Like, I'm. If you want to just thump, let's thump. We don't have to put it out on social media. Have Your people reach out to the people you want to. You want to fight. And y' all do. Y' all do a fight and see what happens of it. This is pure promotion. It's promotion. Yeah. So to me, you got to take it at face value, see it as what it is. It is entertainment. Logan Paul. The Paul brothers are entertainers, and they're damn good at it. And, and the added bonus are they actually are some tough mother lovers.
Jonas Knox
Oh, great. Athletes.
LeVar Arrington
They're not. It's not like these are, like, pushover dudes. These are actually. That's why I'm saying don't bring up Sam Darnold. Don't. Don't bring up a quarterback. Don't do that. Oh, it's that supposed to mean?
Jonas Knox
Don't.
LeVar Arrington
Don't do that. Don't do that. Don't do that. Bring him. He said Miles Garrett. Now, I will say that he did call out Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett would probably do what that dude did in the Indiana Jones Temple of Doom dip, like, reach into his chest, pull his heart out and, and, and, and. And then burn the heart and dude, just die right there.
Jonas Knox
Boom.
LeVar Arrington
Standing up. Miles Garrett is a bad man.
Jonas Knox
Yeah.
LeVar Arrington
And that's one of the most freakish athletes that you would ever deal with in, In a person. But that's like you're. You're going for.
Jonas Knox
You're going for effect based on, you know, based on, you know, recent news. Miles Garrett would probably rather do Daytona, you know, if we're being honest.
LeVar Arrington
Well, he can draft. I mean, he can draft.
Jonas Knox
I mean, it's probably. I'm just saying, like, the one thing the benefit is, if you schedule a fight with Miles Garrett, he's going to get there quick. We know that. He's got to make sure they're going to be late, but.
LeVar Arrington
Burning rubber, baby.
Jonas Knox
There's also. It's. It's this time of year, and we're going to get to the summer months when, you know, the NFL is not in season, when all of this stuff sorts starts to happen. All of these influencer fights and all these, like, all of these things start to get discussed because I think everybody sort of recognizes that once NFL comes around, that's the focus of everybody. So, yeah, you've got, you know, like the World Baseball classics on right now. You know, you've got, You've got this. There's just. There's, like, fun summer events that pop up, spring summer events that people are going to get excited and talk about. You know, When Mayweather fought McGregor, it was August you know, like, it's just like this is the season time of year for this stuff to go off. And even if there is no fight, even if there's no fight between Logan Paul and Miles Garrett or an NFL
LeVar Arrington
player, you generate it.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, it's in the conversation for a little while. Everybody's going to chime in. Football players are going to chime in. Look, Tom Brady sort of stoked the fire when he, you know, he called, you know, Logan Paul a. Or something along those lines. And he talked about WWE Superstars. And so you got WWE Superstars now talking about Tom Brady. So I ask you this. WrestleMania is their big event, right?
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Guess where WrestleMania is again this year. Las Vegas.
LeVar Arrington
In Vegas.
Jonas Knox
Where's Tom Brady at?
Fox Sports Radio Announcer
A lot in Vegas.
LeVar Arrington
It's like, Tom Brady doesn't. Tom Brady is. Is a. Is a promoter, too. Yeah, but Tom Brady ain't no fighter. No, but he hype it now. He can hype it, but could you
Jonas Knox
not see him making an appearance? Could you not see him making an appearance at WrestleMania in Vegas? He owns. He's part owner of the team there. Like, why not?
LeVar Arrington
Oh, this is what I'd say, though it does set up the stage for the conflict there. I mean, again, we're talking WrestleMania. So why not have Wrestling All Stars versus NFL All Stars or former All Stars, right? Why not set it up?
Jonas Knox
Lawrence Taylor main evented a WrestleMania years ago against Bam Bam Bigelow. Like, and you had. Steve McMichael was there, and like, all of these wrestler. All of these NFL players were there in attendance. Like, we've See Gronk's been at WrestleMania before. Like, we've seen all this stuff happen before. It's.
LeVar Arrington
But I'm not talking. I'm not talking a show in terms of a show. I'm talking. I said Pan because I watched him very closely this season. So I. His name keeps popping up in my head. You gotta get the nastiest dudes. Aaron Donald, James Harrison, guys like that and do wrestling. Like, let's. Let's do jiu Jitsu. Like, let's. Let's octagon it in the wwe. Let's get that. I want to see you go in there and not be afraid when Panea Soul comes walking up in there and you gotta lock up with him. That's what. Aaron Donald comes walking up in there, who's probably in better shape now and condition now than he was when he played. I want to see you step in there and it not be a show. You win or I win. Somebody's walking out of here. Somebody ain't walking out alive, though.
Jonas Knox
So you want grappling?
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
Involved.
LeVar Arrington
I just want, I want art. Art form. Wrestling is an art form. It's wrestling. Wrestling is a histor. Historically, wrestling was. Is. Is probably wrestling and, and which. If you know wrestling, that is an art form. It's.
Jonas Knox
It's.
LeVar Arrington
It's different. Different disciplines.
Jonas Knox
You talking professional or so I'm talking wrestling.
LeVar Arrington
So most, most wrestlers from college end up transitioning into the ufc. Those are the guys, they learn to box.
Jonas Knox
It's the oldest combat sport.
LeVar Arrington
Correct. Like Roman Greco, all that stuff. I want to see that. You could come in with your, your WWE uniform and everything. Like, like. But I want to see, I want to see like boxing. It's like, okay, that's. It's a different art form. It's a different discipline and, and it's. It's just a little different. Let's go full out. You're a wrestler. You say you train for your shows with the wwe. Let's get a WWE versus NFL Legends.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, maybe let's.
LeVar Arrington
That's. That's the, that's the one. I'm telling you. Get, get guys like, like I, like I mentioned early. Get Tomba Ali. Get a. Like if you were to get up. If you were to get current players I mentioned to nail.
Jonas Knox
But basically the NFL PA should just send out a memo and be like, anybody Samoan. I mean anybody Tongan.
LeVar Arrington
They are some.
Jonas Knox
Come on.
LeVar Arrington
They are some tough dudes, man.
Jonas Knox
The best.
LeVar Arrington
They are some tough dudes, but I'm just telling you it is not limited to that. It is not. There are some tough dudes that have played in this, this league, man, and they freaks, like straight up physical athletic freaks that tongue it. They throw that. They hit you with that tea.
Jonas Knox
You know that. Who's the guy from the Texans too?
Greg Tuohy
Tommy Togi.
Jonas Knox
Oh, man, he's the best.
Greg Tuohy
He's the best.
Jonas Knox
He throws up the tongue and tea.
LeVar Arrington
That means they, they did something. Yeah, let. Walking in that octagon with, with Logan Paul and he hit him with that tea and started doing that. I want to see, I want to see you be turned up and talk about your million bucks. When that happened, what was the, the
Jonas Knox
final game of the season? That guy from the Texans scored a touchdown. He scored. He scored a touchdown. Parts of that was it like a God. I think they, they put him as a tackle eligible and they didn't get the ball to him, but he ended up scoring a touchdown on like a blocked field goal. Or there, there was some play that happened in the tank and as he's celebrating on the field, Demico Ryan's was running out there doing the T, the tong and tee because you want to do it. Oh my God.
LeVar Arrington
But he ain't tongue in. But you want to do it. I want to be a part of that.
Jonas Knox
Hey, man. Like one of the great all time stories of a, of a teammate fight was Olen Crutz and Fred Miller back in the day when they were, they were at a shooting range and Olin
LeVar Arrington
Kreutz, that's a bad place to have a fight.
Jonas Knox
Breakout Fred Miller, I guess broke a dumbbell on Olin Kreutzer's head. He smashed him in the head with the dumbbell. Olin Crews had to get stitches, but Olin Cruz broke Fred Miller's jaw, like just beat his ass. And apparently, you know, they were just had maybe gone out and had a couple and.
LeVar Arrington
But they were fine.
Jonas Knox
They finished the season together. But Fred Miller had to get his job broken. And Fred Miller was a big guy, like a really big guy. And then you come to find out, oh, Olin Cruz. Where is he from?
LeVar Arrington
Played against Cruz?
Jonas Knox
Oh, Honolulu.
LeVar Arrington
Tough Honolulu. Hey, bro.
Jonas Knox
St. Louis High School, what a shock.
LeVar Arrington
All I'm saying is it's all fine and good to talk all that mess about what you do to any football player and all this old mess that Logan Paul is saying. But there's promoting and then there's real, you know.
Jonas Knox
You know, they tell you if you
LeVar Arrington
see you get some of them real ones up in there, that's a whole, whole different game.
Jonas Knox
Little piece of advice. You know how they tell you if you see somebody with cauliflower ear, don't mess with them. If somebody says to you, hey brother,
LeVar Arrington
just back away, back away slow.
Jonas Knox
Just back away or give them a hug. Buy him a drink.
LeVar Arrington
Give them a hug, man. Hey, brother.
Jonas Knox
If you hear hey brother, Aloha Friday.
LeVar Arrington
Nope.
Jonas Knox
You gotta go, man. All right, so we'll keep you posted,
LeVar Arrington
you hear? Get run.
Jonas Knox
Oh, you man.
LeVar Arrington
Grab your. Drop your ass and run.

big story in the world of sports. And also, we're gonna find out whether or not some of the injuries around the NFL could impact some wheeling and dealing in the league. We'll get into that for you again, coming up here a little over 12 minutes from now. But right now it is time for another edition of the Herdline News. No, no, no.
LeVar Arrington
Turn on the news.
Jonas Knox
This is the Herd Line News. It's Greg Tuohy. Yeah, Togi Ituoh. Togi. Come on, Greg.
Greg Tuohy
Oh, man, we had some fun with that last segment because I'm a Texans fan. Tommy, Toby, Texans stud defensive tackle. Guys, we could be seeing an A.J. brown trade out of Philly coming very soon. Last 24 hours, we've had a couple entering interesting reports about his future in Philly. Jeff McLean of the Philadelphia Inquirer said the Patriots and Ravens are the two most likely potential trade partners. Ian Rapaport said also this week, it certainly seems that Brown will be playing for the Eagles or Patriots next season, with an answer likely coming very soon. This morning, Diana Rossini threw out another potential landing spot. Lavar, you'll like this. This all right, the Chargers are another team to keep your eye on, but no team has made an official offer to the eagle yet. So, Lavar, where do you think A.J. brown fits best next season? Pats Ravens or the Chargers with Harbaugh and Mike McDaniel? Or just stay put.
LeVar Arrington
Well I think the best decision would just be to stay put. But if you were to go somewhere else, I mean, the Ravens would make a ton of sense, man. A ton of sense.
Greg Tuohy
I. I think. I think Lamar needs as much help as he can get right now, right?
Jonas Knox
Absolutely.
Greg Tuohy
Like, he needs. He needs as much help as he can get to get over the hump because he just cannot get over that.
LeVar Arrington
And apparently so does A.J. brown.
Jonas Knox
A.J. brown needs to get the hell out of there. I'm more than about.
Greg Tuohy
I'm worried about the new head coach Jesse mentor there with him though. I don't know how that would work.
Jonas Knox
I just like he.
Fox Sports Radio Announcer
Here's the pro.
Jonas Knox
Because everyone wants to like looks at Nick Siri. Well, it's Nick Sirianni and it's. It's Jalen Hurts and it's all right. When they were winning a Super Bowl, A.J. brown wasn't happy and that was a different offensive coordinator. Then last year he wasn't happy. He's just not happy. And if he's not happy there, you. You got like turn the page. I know Howie Roseman wants to create this. Well, you don't just get rid of good players.
LeVar Arrington
Yes, I do.
Jonas Knox
You're Howie Roseman. You do it all the time. Like and. And if you need any help with that, call Joe Shane and see how to handle. Get rid of. Getting rid of good players. Like, see what. Get some advice from him. But it's not working with A.J. brown. It hasn't been working. It's not an offensive coordinator issue.
Fox Sports Radio Announcer
It's him.
Jonas Knox
So let him go. Send him to New England. Go back with Rabel.
Greg Tuohy
I think the Herbert. I mean, I think the Chargers things interesting with Harbaugh. I think he could manage them. Well, I think Mike McDaniel will find plenty of ways to use him.
Jonas Knox
Is Herbert still dating Madison Beer?
Greg Tuohy
I believe he is, yes.
LeVar Arrington
I mean, why not? Why would he not be?
Jonas Knox
Amen.
LeVar Arrington
Hey, some things just don't need to change.
Greg Tuohy
True. We'll wrap it up with this one as the world of will he or won't he return next season continues for Aaron Rodgers. Ian Rapaport this morning was on with DP Dan Patrick show and talked about whether or not Aaron's received an offer from Pittsburgh and about a potential return next season in the NFL. Whether it's been offered or not, he probably knows what is. It's just a matter of him saying do I want to play or not.
Jonas Knox
You know, my sense is it's the
Greg Tuohy
Steelers or no one.
Jonas Knox
It's just on him to sort of
Greg Tuohy
make a decision and let us all know. And if he wants to tell us all sorts of things about his personal life and his exercise schedule and all that, we'll probably take that as well. So Colin brought up this week, if you had an NFL QB draft for next year, only he thinks Aaron would be in the top 10, which is pretty, pretty wild to think about.
Jonas Knox
But overall. Overall. In the entire league?
Greg Tuohy
Yeah. Just for next year. Not, like, who would you build around?
Jonas Knox
Not for three years from now, just for next year. I could see the argument for that. Look, he. There's clearly some limitations. He's clearly aged. Everybody can see that. But it's not as if he was just awful last year. It's not. This isn't like the jets situation.
Greg Tuohy
They won the division, made the playoffs.
LeVar Arrington
Yeah.
Jonas Knox
And so I look at it and I go, pittsburgh needs a consistent run game. They need things around him. But that's something that, that could work. I just wonder if you're the Steelers, when are you going to acknowledge the fact that it's been a little while since you've been the Steelers? Everybody knows. And it's almost as if the goal was, hey, just get to the playoffs. We could say, we're in the playoffs again and they haven't won. And I think 10 years. They haven't won a playoff game in 10 years. So I just wonder if you're the Steelers. If you look at this and say, at some point we got to cut ties and move forward and you may not like the rebuild philosophy, but maybe that's, maybe that's the best course of action at this point there.
Greg Tuohy
That ripped the band aid off franchise. At some point they need to rip the band aid off and just rebuild.
Jonas Knox
Yeah, but Lavar, you're a yinzer. They don't rip the band. They don't do that.
Greg Tuohy
They don't do that.
LeVar Arrington
Well, we've never really had to rip the band aid off. Right. We're always pretty good, so.
Greg Tuohy
Well, you could argue they should have the last couple of years post big
LeVar Arrington
then, and you wouldn't be wrong.
Jonas Knox
Well, look at the, you know, it's, It's a hockey comp. But look at the Penguins. Everyone's been saying, for the Penguins, you got to get rid of Crosby, Malk and Letang, you got to start over. And they just won't. And as it turns out, they're much improved and much better than a lot of people thought. And then you got the Pirates, who, you know, they. Paul Skeens is great, but that's a team that seems to always be willing to rip the band aid off and just, you know, trade. Trade their best players away to teams that are looking for improvements at the deadline. So, yeah, we'll see. But I do think Rogers ends up coming back. I think that makes the most sense for all parties involved. Back to the yin.
LeVar Arrington
Back to the Yinzers.

This hour offered a spirited and topical analysis of major NFL moves—highlighting both the strategic ramifications (roster, culture, and cap considerations) and the emotional realities (locker room hierarchies, expectations on coaches and quarterbacks). The conversation shifted seamlessly to the lighter side of sports drama via Logan Paul’s self-promotional boxing challenge, giving listeners both genuine football talk and a taste of media-savvy spectacle.
If you missed the episode, here’s the takeaway:
Big NFL names are on the move and teams are recalibrating for immediate contention, while sports entertainment continues to blur the lines between competition and showmanship—with Logan Paul leading the charge for attention (and maybe a fight, if the price and spectacle are right).
