Last year, Degree changed the formula for their Cool Rush deodorant. The fans rebelled and wanted the old scent back and Degree listened and that doesn't happen often. They admitted they effed up and are bringing the original Cool Rush scent back. And it's exactly how you remember it. Cool, crisp and fresh. There's a reason why it's the number one men's antiperspirant. And and it's back in Walmart, Target and other stores now for under $4. So try it and see what the fuss is about. Head to your local Walmart, Target and try to OG Cool Rush for yourself.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it just happened. Breaking news. Jon Jones has retired from the ufc. This is just moments after UFC Baku, a card that was pretty interesting, had some good scraps, and in the main event, I was once again Wade cursed completely wrong about Jamal Hill doing anything to change what's got him into trouble in his last couple fights. And instead Khalil Roundtree being the samurai that he is in his custom UFC shorts, getting the victory and peacing up Jamal. And that's something I probably should have made a dedicated video about on this channel. But right now we have more pressing matters. No offense to either of those fighters. Jon Jones has now been confirmed to have retired from Dana White himself in the post fight press conference of UFC Baku. This is massive news for the ufc. It's massive news going forward and I don't hate to say it, actually, I.
Analyst 1
I actually love to say it.
Analyst 3
Everybody on MMA YouTube was right. Everybody that said that Jon Jones was never going to fight Tom Aspinall was right. Everyone that said that Jon Jones was ducking Tom Aspinall was right. And it just got confirmed to break down. Let's go.
Host
Jon Jones called us last night and retired. Jon Jones is officially retired. Tom Aspinall is the heavyweight champion of the ufc.
Analyst 1
Bang.
Analyst 3
All right, yeah, I'm excited. Tom Aspinall is finally what, in my opinion he always was when he won the belt and defended the interim belt. He is now the undisputed heavyweight champion of the ufc. And yes, this is bittersweet, because I think everybody wanted to see Jon Jones fight Tom Aspinall for whatever reasons you had, if you thought that Jon was over the hill, if you thought Tom deserved that right, to win the belt from the man that had it before him, all of that is valid. And I think that it should have happened that way. But we don't live in a perfect world, and certainly in the ufc, not a perfect company, but I guess they tried to exhaust every option With Jon, I don't. I don't know, trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is long past overdue. But finally, the Rock voice, finally we get the desired result, even though, again, it's not the way anyone wanted it. It just needed to happen. They had waited for John to make a decision, apparently from Ariel Helwani. They had offered John ton of money and he still turned that down. And it was just one of these things where they were not going to make a deal. That's what I assume happened here. They just could not get John to say yes.
Analyst 1
And as you heard Dana say there.
Analyst 3
John called him and retired last night.
Analyst 1
And it is a little bit of.
Analyst 3
An odd situation because we did see Jon Jones just on the Nelk Boys podcast and having his happy dads, and as soon as he was asked a question, par for the course, about Tom Aspinall, he dipset it out of the podcast. They want any part of it. But I think it's also unfortunate that the UFC did not step out and make this decision. They had to have Jon Jones come to them and offer the belt up. That, to me, is bizarre. And again, it shows me that the UFC was not inclined to strip John, that they weren't going to unless he gave up the belt. And why was that what it took? Why was it John giving the belt up to the ufc again, the company that owns the product, that owns the belt, for them to say, this is not going to work, we are killing our own heavyweight division in lieu of potentially hopefully getting Jon to come back. However long that takes, however long we have to put Tom Aspinall on the shelf, however long we have to have him in an interim spot defending an interim belt while the heavyweight champion is healthy and just doesn't want to fight.
Analyst 1
And again, some people will say, well.
Analyst 3
He never beat Jon Jones for it, but that's not his fault. I mean, Tom Aspinall did everything he could to fight Jon Jones.
Analyst 1
Look at this.
Analyst 3
However you want. But the point remains. Jon can still be one of, if not the greatest to have ever fought in mma. But he ducked Tom Aspinall. And it's clear now, and there's no way to really excuse it. I mean, yeah, you can say Jon didn't feel like Tom was valued enough to fight him, but he still ducked Tom Aspinall. He still didn't want any part of the Tom Aspinall fight. And I even hesitated for a long time to say, oh, John's not scared.
Analyst 1
None of that.
Analyst 3
And John's probably not petrified, but he is understanding of one thing, that Tom Aspinall throws a wrench into the goat, talks if he fights him. Because Tom Aspinall presents more of a danger to jon Jones than D.B. miocic did. And that is the only reason Jon Jones retired, because Tom Aspinall was too dangerous to fight. Point blank, period. That was it. He was too dangerous for Jon to take the risk. And that's a duck, folks. Whether you want to believe that or not, or whether you want to consider Jon the greatest of all time or one of the greatest of all time, doesn't really matter, because I do. I think Jon is the greatest fighter I have ever seen with my own two eyes. But he ducked Tom Aspinall, and I'll give you the reasons for it. Number one, you can't convince me that Jon didn't have the motivation to fight, because a couple of days ago on Twitter, he was calling out Francis Ngannou because Francis was rumored to come back. Number two, John got all the money he wanted out of this, or at least he was supposed to. Found a way to convince the UFC to give him the number he was asking for, and he still said no. That tells you all you need to know about what Jon thought about this fight. He wanted no part of it. Point blank, period. And you can't get around that fact. That'll stick on his legacy, right? Not fighting Tom and not doing the same thing other fighters in the past have done when the newest young challenger comes up to fight them for their belt.
Analyst 1
Not saying Jon ever had to do.
Analyst 3
That, but he also had his cake and ate it too, because he didn't fight Tom and also held onto the belt for as long as, and almost became the longest reigning heavyweight champion in UFC history without fighting more than twice. Again, it is surreal because we are seeing one of the greatest ever, if not the greatest ever, retire in a moment's notice. Here today, gone tomorrow, no big announcement, no press conference, just done. While that stain on his legacy will come from the Tom Aspinall fight and potentially even, you know, the Francis Ngannou fight. When Francis was a part of the UFC, that never happened. He does have 14 years of being elite. He's 14, 15, 16 title fights, 12 title defenses. John beat the best of the era before him, the best of the era he was in, and the next era that came through. Beat the generation before him, essentially the veterans and the top level of the generation that had already solidified themselves as he was coming into mma. Then he beat his generation of fighters, you know, the Mauricio Shogun, who was.
Analyst 1
And the Rashad Evans and the Rampages.
Analyst 3
And all those guys. And then he beat his era of fighters, right, the dc, the Gustafsons Detour.
Analyst 1
Belfors, the Liotto Machidas.
Analyst 3
Then he beat the. The next generation. However you feel about the Dominic Reyes fight, which I think was a fight he probably should have lost. Beat Anthony Smith, I know that's not.
Analyst 1
A great win on paper.
Analyst 3
Now, beat Diago Santos, beat that next generation, then move to heavyweight. Beat the number one guy there at the time. I know Francis wasn't there and Jon probably should have fought Francis. It's another stain that will always say, damn, wish we would have got that fight. And again, I think we did it because of Jon Jones, but. But then he goes and beats Cyril Gane fairly easily. Beats Stipe Miocic, which was way over the hill. I understand that wasn't a stipe that.
Analyst 1
Was considered one of the greatest heavyweights ever.
Analyst 3
But still beat him fairly easily. And Jon has racked up two belts in two different divisions. Still think he's one of the greatest to ever do it. So, yeah, it's a bummer that we didn't get that final punctuation mark on Jon's career. Like, yeah, him going out on top and really leaving no doubt that he's the greatest ever. If he would have beat Tom Aspinall, there would have been no doubt there. There would have been nobody in this comment section telling me I'm an idiot because I'd said Jon Jones is the greatest. And I think that is a part of the reason that he won't be looked at that way is because we didn't get that final point. Whether it was good or bad, we didn't get that go out on your shield warrior style of ending for Jon Jones career. And that's not necessarily a problem, but it kind of is when you drag out an entire division for a year. Plus just for the UFC to be at your beck and call. And then eventually you do the thing that Jon Jones, of course, does in this situation and control the narrative and control how this whole thing goes by saying, well, I just, I don't want to fight for the belt. Tom is not worth me fighting him. So here, go have the belt. And I'm sure you're gonna see Jon Jones on Twitter saying in the next couple of weeks or months, he can have the belt, but he never won it off me. That kind of mentality, I'm sure is coming down the line. And, yeah, that's just what I see happening. John trolling on Twitter for the next couple of months, but this is a massive moment. Jon Jones was a massive part of MMA for the last 15 years. And whether you want to believe this or not, and I'm glad that John's given the belt up, I'm glad if he's going to ride off into the sunset, that he's not taking the belt with him. Whether you want to believe this or not, he is one of the last major names in the sport, right? Least on American soil. And that may be a problem for the ufc because we've all talked about how they are having trouble creating stars, having trouble finding that next big superstar to come out of the Octagon. And maybe it'll be Ilya Toporia, or maybe it'll be Islam Makhachev, and maybe it'll be somebody else, Patty the baddie, Tom Aspinall, who knows? But we do know that Jon, even though he wasn't a massive pay per view draw, he was a star. And again, he was the greatest, in my opinion, or one of the greatest that's ever been in the Octagon. So whatever you think about him, whether.
Analyst 1
You like him or not, as a.
Analyst 3
Fighter, whether you like him or not as a person, all that aside, this will be a massive hit for the heavyweight division, that Jon is not fighting Tom Aspinall. But again, it's bittersweet, because at least if you're going to take that hit, Jon is giving the belt up and not just squatting, and Tom Aspinall as the rightful champion now, and the rest of the division can move on and maybe Tom becomes a big superstar and John says, you know what? It's time to come back. But I doubt that happens. If he's not going to fight him now, I don't see why Jon would take another year off or another two years off, then come back and try to fight him again. But who knows? Breaking news, though.
Analyst 1
I wanted to get this to you.
Analyst 3
Guys, as soon as it happened, just now dropped. Jon Jones is retiring from the sport of MMA and from the ufc. It's massive news. Whether you like it or not, one of the greatest of all time is done.
Analyst 1
All right, folks, today we are watching the press conference from Canelo Crawford. If you guys didn't see it this morning from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Canelo vs Crawford's first press conference went live. One of the more interesting things about this was it was a collaboration effort. Look at this. The WWE streamed it. The UFC streamed it. The Zone streamed it. The Ring Magazine streamed it. Turkey Alice Shake streamed it. It was everywhere. This was insane. And this truly shows you like the flex that Turkey and TKO boxing, or I guess it's going to be called Zufa boxing, are putting out into the boxing world right now.
Host
For decades now, boxing's most formidable opponent has been, well, boxing, not the fighters, but the business negotiations that prove treacherous.
Analyst 2
The street is broken and fragmented. You can't make the fights that everybody wants us.
Analyst 1
Oh, see what I'm saying? They are coming out swinging right away, dude. We want to make sure you guys get the fights you want to see, and it ain't been happening for the last however long. Terrence Bud Crawford. Okay. Todd.
Reporter
His Excellency, Turkey Al shape.
Turkey Al Shake
I don't know why they put me here. I want to be in the side of Crawford.
Analyst 1
Hey, I know he kind of always says who he wants to win, but he's just coming out right in Canelo's face and being like, yo, I don't. I don't know why they put me on this table. I want to be over there. Dang. Okay, so Turkey rolling with. With Bud. Okay. There were some negotiations between Turkey and Canelo for a while, and even before that, there were back and forth between the two of them. Maybe Turkey's like, yeah, I still ain't over that. I'm bringing in this man to beat you. So if Turkey rolls with Crawford, Dana White, big Canelo fan. And by the way, where is Dana? Where is Dana White? We need that. We need that Dana introduction that Dana gave. Conor, the reigning defending 155 pound champion of the UFC. He needs to get up at that podium and go crazy, dude.
Turkey Al Shake
I hate Tom and Jerry's kinds of boxing. I am sure they will deliver for me. Smashing face and blood. And this is the boxing.
Analyst 1
Oh, no. Tom and Jerry. I want you. Smashing face and give me blood. Let's go. Turkey's tired of the Tom and Jerry. He's tired of the running and Again, people had an issue with this because you know, all Turkey's never fought whatever he is simply saying under his platform, under Riyadh season, under the Ring magazine, he doesn't like seeing those fights. So he is going to put on fights where he is essentially ensuring that that's not going to be the case.
Turkey Al Shake
I don't want to force to be having ring 12 by 12 or something like this to have something like this big fight.
Analyst 1
If y' all don't stop playing around, I'm going to make the ring a 12x12. Dude. People be boxing in an actual box. Can you imagine though, bro? You can't even breathe in there. This is it. Welcome to your world title fight.
Turkey Al Shake
Next time I want the question in English, please and start with the international media, please.
Analyst 1
Turkey is not playing around, dude. He is out here just laying down the law question for his Excellency. You said many times now that you don't want any more of these Tom and Jerry fights where one fighter is chasing the other one is that cop. What is your plan to kind of stop these fights?
Turkey Al Shake
We will not have have him anymore. This is the first things. The second we will have in this fight and the next fight, bonus for ko.
Analyst 1
This fight and the next fight, bonus for ko. So I assume he means. I'm not really sure, this fight and the next one, the next Canelo fight. This is a little bit outside of the realm of normal boxing procedure, but if you come from the MMA community, you know this is a pretty common thing. You're starting to see a little bit of the Dana White influence, right? That's. That's got to be a Dana idea. But I'm going to be honest, between Canelo and Crawford, they're probably already making a ridiculous amount of money. So this has to be maybe more for the undercard. But again, it obviously could qualify for Canelo and Crawford, but I doubt they care about a KO bonus when they're probably making more money than they ever have.
Turkey Al Shake
Social media speculation will say about when this fight is going to take place. Can you be Pacific?
Analyst 1
Yeah, we saw Oscar De La Hoyer. Can you be Pacific? I love he, man. Hey, listen, He. You need someone to be Pacific. I'm on that Pacific time all the time. You feel me?
Host
Yeah.
Analyst 1
We saw Oscar De La Hoyer trying to say that the fight was going to take place maybe in the daytime.
Turkey Al Shake
Okay, this is what I want from you. To. To say his name.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Turkey Al Shake
I decide with Dana White to have a breakfast in MGM at 10:00am Inshallah. Then we will go to the arena to have the fights quick. And after that we will go dinner to Carbon. And in the night we will watch Conjoining because it will launch in September. Oscar De La Hoya waste my time with this question.
Analyst 1
There's a lot to go through here. Cop asked the question about what Oscar La Hoya said. Let's see if I can pull it up.
Host
Why is it that Canelo has to.
Analyst 2
Fight during the day on Mexican Independence Week weekend? And ufc, with a roster of names.
Analyst 1
I've never heard of, is going on prime time. Cinco de Mayo.
Analyst 2
He's fighting in Riyadh. And now he's fighting during the day on the biggest weekend in boxing.
Analyst 1
This is what he was upset about. Okay, so this is what Oscar was referring to. He was trying to leak the news that this fight would be during the day. And then Turkey essentially is trolling Oscar saying, like, yeah, me and Dana are going to have breakfast at 10am at the MGM, then go and have the fights, then wrap him up real quick so we can go. I think he said watch a movie later. I don't know. He said something about the conjuring. I'm not exactly sure, but he's essentially trolling right there.
Turkey Al Shake
Of course, this is in the beak. This is the boxing, the sport, number one in the world. This is Canelo and Crawford.
Analyst 1
So there you go. Said, this is the peak. This is. Of course this is in the peak.
Turkey Al Shake
I need to mention why we choose Netflix. Netflix is the big platform. Second, if you ask about the numbers of the subscriber and the pay per view. Oh, let's see the record in that time in 2015, 2013, the Internet and the piracy was not like now. Now is the best options to go with the big platform. And I think this fight will have the big record around the world. And we will show the world what is real boxing, especially in Netflix. We will. We'll show them what is the real boxing.
Analyst 1
O. Okay, taking shots once again, we'll show Netflix and the world what a real fight is. The only other fight that's ever been on Netflix. The first fight ever on Netflix. Take Paul Mike Tyson. He also said something there. It's a losing battle to try to continue to put on pay per view events. When kids at the age of 13 understand the Internet better than some of the companies trying to put them behind a pay per view wall. You're going to start seeing more and more, and it should have. Honestly, it probably should already happen by now, but you're going to start seeing More and more streaming service, boxing promotions, matches companies, and less and less pay per view. And make no mistake about it, Turkey. Dana, they want to beat this number. They want to beat 108 million live viewers globally and 65 million concurrent. They want to do it.
Turkey Al Shake
Thank you so much. And I will make the Legend continue. Thank you.
Analyst 1
All right, Dirk, he's out. Hey. What the hell? He's true.
Reporter
Jordy Canelo, welcome back to Riyadh. Of course, the last time we saw you here fighting under the. Here in the kingdom, under the Riyadh banner, you fought William Skull. What were your impressions of that fight night and that fight itself?
Canelo Alvarez
You mean William Skull?
Reporter
Yes, that fight, the whole thing.
Canelo Alvarez
That was a fight. No, I don't think so. That's a deception for me because, you know, I come to fight, but you need to have both fighters think the same, right?
Analyst 1
English speaking. Canelo is. Is going levels up in his game, dude. The Hooked on Phonics is working this, man. Using words like deception. It's over, dude.
Reporter
You heard His Excellency saying, no more Tom and Jerry, no more running. But you're moving up two weight classes. It's not going to be smart for you to stand there and hammer it out with this guy. So how do you kind of balance that? Not running, but being elusive in fighting.
Terence Crawford
Canelo, however I gotta fight, I'm gonna win. Simple as that. I'm not gonna let somebody else force me or tell me how to. How to fight when I've been fighting my whole life. I won't be running. You know, I could tell you that. But I will be, you know, doing a lot of touching.
Analyst 1
Hey, yo, no, I'm playing. That was a decent political answer. He's essentially saying, listen, no one can tell me how to fight, but you're not going to see me run. He's like, that's not something I do. I'm a fight the way I want to fight, but I'm going to be in there putting hands on him.
Reporter
You said he's good, but he's no Canelo. What can you do that Terence cannot do?
Canelo Alvarez
No, don't give me ground. He's a great fighter. Like what I like. I say he's not Canelo.
Analyst 1
He's good, but he's no Canelo. Dang.
Canelo Alvarez
That kind of hits, they only focus on my power. But I'm. I have more than that. This fight is going to be one of my best fights in my. In my history, in my record. And I'm very excited. I'm very excited. Motivate because this is all about. This is all about. I want to make history and, and I'm very excited for this fight.
Analyst 1
He said. People think I just got power now and that's all. That's going to be the difference. But I'm going to show all the aspects of my game. I hope so, because it's not that people think, think that Canelo just has power. He has told people for the latter part of the last three years that the priority in his game has been his power. He's been flat footed, standing in front of guys, walking them down and throwing big time power. He hasn't been setting up shots as well. He hasn't been moving his feet as much. He hasn't been doing much on the catch encounters as he usually does. I want to see every aspect of the Canelo game.
Canelo Alvarez
He's not gonna beat me. Don't worry about it. He's not gonna beat me about. Don't worry about it. I think this fight is gonna. It's gonna be in the books of the history of boxing for sure. That's for sure.
Terence Crawford
For sure. Them bells coming with me, they coming home with me. I'm telling you.
Canelo Alvarez
You can see it, but you, you're gonna be. It's gonna be difficult. You take it to you.
Terence Crawford
I'm taking them. And ain't nothing you're gonna be able to do about it. Come fighting.
Canelo Alvarez
I know Turkey is in your car.
Analyst 1
Okay, bud? Yeah, this, this is what I was talking about. Let's get some intensity in here.
Canelo Alvarez
I know Turkey is in your corner.
Terence Crawford
But I promise, but I.
Canelo Alvarez
Look, look, it's gonna be very difficult. He's gonna be so mad that day.
Analyst 1
I know Turkey's in your corner, but he's gonna be mad that day. Okay, Canelo. Canelo using Turkey's own words against him, looking at him like, yeah, I know he's in your corner. I get it. He brought you up here to beat me, take my belts. I get it. But both y' all about to be mad. Yeah, this is what we want. And now here comes Dana White, the reigning defending. That's what we need. Dude, I see you.
Terence Crawford
You see, I'm.
Canelo Alvarez
I see you too.
Terence Crawford
You see I'm different than all the other ones.
Canelo Alvarez
I see you. You don't know different. You're nothing different.
Terence Crawford
I'm different.
Canelo Alvarez
Nothing different.
Terence Crawford
I'm different.
Canelo Alvarez
We'll see.
Terence Crawford
You gonna see?
Canelo Alvarez
We'll see. We'll see.
Analyst 1
We're gonna see. You know what is interesting about this whole thing is that Canelo looks at Bud Crawford, like, you've never made this weight. You've never jumped weight classes like this. And I have. Both guys are. They have something up their sleeve that neither guy has seen before. Ready for.
Reporter
Some people said he should have done a better job cutting the ring off. It was the fewest punches ever landed. Did you see it that way?
Analyst 1
Damn.
Terence Crawford
I'm not here to talk about his. His past fights. I'm here to talk about his present fight. And that's him versus me. And that's what I'm here to talk about. Me. Me versus him. Not him versus any other. His previous opponents.
Reporter
Do you expect him to run like a lot of people?
Canelo Alvarez
I hope not.
Reporter
You don't think so?
Canelo Alvarez
I hope not. I hope not, because I think people deserve a good fight.
Analyst 1
And is anybody like Todd is acting like people are saying Terence Crawford's going to run from Canelo, who has said.
Reporter
That fight is in Las Vegas, Obviously there's going to be a huge Mexican crowd there for him. How confident are you that the judges will give you a fair shake after the end of the 12 rounds?
Terence Crawford
Listen, I can't focus on the judges. I just got to focus on how sad is that.
Analyst 1
That. That's a question in this sport. How sad is that, that we even have that in our minds when it comes to a fight?
Terence Crawford
Controlling what I can control inside the ring, and that's, you know, going out there and. And winning the fight decisively.
Reporter
You're bulked up now.
Analyst 1
You're.
Reporter
You're bigger than ever. Do you feel stronger? Do you feel like you can knock Canelo out?
Terence Crawford
Man, listen, like I said before, any fighter can be not. Hey, listen, Canelo got a granite chin. He's tough, he's durable. You know, we've seen him hurt a couple of times, but not to the point where, you know, it's not respected. But given the right circumstances, anybody can get knocked out.
Reporter
Who would you say is the toughest opponent you've ever faced? And where would you rank Terrence?
Canelo Alvarez
No, he's. He's one of the tough fighters I'm going to face in my career. For sure, he's a great fight fighter, but I have many, many great fights in my career.
Analyst 1
Toughest fighter that Canelo ever faced was Floyd Mayweather. If you're talking about toughness, that's a different thing. But the toughest fight he's ever had is Floyd Bivol, 2nd and Triple G. Honestly, you could put Triple G and Bivol right on the same platform, but Floyd, it was. It was domination. What he did to Edgar Berlanga, Floyd did to him.
Reporter
And Terence, the same question for you. I guess a lot of people will be showing up from Omaha and Las Vegas for that weekend. What's your message to, to your fans as you take on the biggest challenge of your career?
Terence Crawford
Listen, I just tell them, you know, I mean, suit up, we about to bring some more jewelry home, you know, and it's going to be an exciting day for boxing. History will be made. Terence Crawford will be the first male boxer three way undisputed champion of the world.
Analyst 1
That's kind of getting slept on in this whole thing is that Bud has a chance to be three weight undisputed champion. That's crazy. Now you understand why I wanted to jump. I mean, granted it's also Canelo, it's also the money, but the accolade of being a three division in the male scene, yes, three division world champion is nuts.
Reporter
And this is what it's all about, ladies and gentlemen. This is what they are.
Analyst 1
Looks like a deadlifting belt, son. For the belt that Canelo has over.
Reporter
There, we spent £100,000 for this belt.
Analyst 1
We up the ante. Wait, the belt that's on Canelo's table was a hundred thousand pounds. That's the one they gave him after the skull fight, right? Okay, so they took that one and now they made even a new one as well. To a hundred and forty thousand pounds.
Reporter
This is by.
Analyst 1
Oh my God. A hundred and forty thousand pounds. How much is that in USD? $188,000. Yo, the ring magazine out here flexing.
Reporter
Canelo Alvarez, Terence Bud Crawford are the two very best fighters of this era. But there can only be one, and only one of them is going home with this belt. Saturday night, September 13th in Las Vegas. Watch it live on Netflix. I thank everyone for coming out. See you in Las Vegas.
Analyst 1
On the low. I saw this on Twitter. Canelo walking a little past even here to get to Crawford. He didn't set up in the middle here. He walked a little bit past even to get to him some intensity. What we like to see, Canelo does look, you know, a little thicker. A little thicker, traps a little bigger, you know, I'm saying arms look a little bigger. Okay, so maybe, maybe Canelo is a little bit bigger. Once in a lifetime.
Reporter
Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for.
Analyst 1
Terence Bud Crawford and Canelo Alvarez.
Reporter
We'll see you Sunday.
Analyst 1
There it is, the first press conference in the book. Listen, Turkey Alice shake came out right away, set the tone, said listen, no more Tom and Jerry fights. We Want to make these big fights again. Talking about this one and potentially in the future on Netflix, put the message out there that he wants us to be the showing to Netflix in the world of real boxing on Netflix, obviously, taking a shot at Jake Paul, took a shot at Oscar De La Hoya and even said, I'm on team Bud Crawford. Which is why we need a representative for team Canelo. And we're not talking Eddie Reynozo. We're talking big Dana White. We need to see Dana White in these. In these pressers. He's supposed to be promoting the fight. I know he's got UFC Fight Night tonight, but. Or this weekend, but I want to see him in either New York or Vegas. I need to see Dana Red. Dana coming out in support of his favorite boxer, Canelo Alvarez. And listen, this was a nice intro presser. There wasn't a lot really said, but you saw some intense moments. You saw when they started talking about belts and Bud's like, I'm leaving with your belts. Ain't nothing you can do about it. Canelo's like, you're. You're good, but you're. You're not me. I don't care how much Turkey wants you to wins. I'm upsetting everybody. But then the face off itself. Intensity. No games. It's now time to get this fight build going. We'll see what happens, I guess, in New York on Sunday. We'll cover that one as well. And what happens as far as the fight's concerned? The big question everybody has, the size difference that time. Canelo did look a little bigger, a little stronger, potentially. I don't have those answers. So guess we'll find out what is wrong with Conor McGregor legitimately. What the is wrong with this guy? Ah, it just pisses me off. How does he go from videos like this? He's up here training with his.
Analyst 2
That's how steep that hill is, folks. Right, champ, line up. Ready to go? Yeah. I'm going to follow exactly like that, is it?
Host
Yeah.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Analyst 2
And you like it.
Analyst 1
Not going to lie. That laugh might be the underlying demon that Conor McGregor suppresses around his family. Coming out for just a short bit. Yeah, because he's bipolar. I don't think you can just call it bipolar pressure.
Analyst 2
Yeah, there's not enough pressure on us. Put more pressure on us because it's light walk. Right, let's go into a position. 3, 2, 1, go. Fast, fast, fast, fast. Yes. There you go. That's the pace. That's the pace. Come on. That is going. Come on, come on, come on. Catch him, catch him. Come on, come on. Come up. All the way, all the way. All the way, all the way, all the way. Stay strong, stay strong. Stay structured. Let's go.
Analyst 1
Push, push, push.
Analyst 2
Get it out of you. Get it out of you. Come on. Get it out of you. Go, go, go, go, go.
Analyst 1
It's a long ass run. He goes from doing something like that and you even see D. Devlin with the hard eyes and everybody's like, nice, good work. He's like, put more pressure on us. Yeah, no, the north pressure. Cause it's light walk. He's a psycho, but also he's doing this shit now. It is the sun reporting, but I mean, this is clear video evidence. Conor McGregor floors a man with two punches in some club in Ibiza. Talking to the fella. Boom. A little slap and then the left hand over the top and there goes the guy. Flying. Guy said something Connor didn't like. Boom. Little slap and then a p. What could the guy have done? Honestly, I see people in chat saying maybe the guy did something to warrant it.
Analyst 2
What?
Analyst 1
What could he have done? Is that me or does it look like true Geordie? If Conor keeps growing like a good boy and gets some inches of height as well as his massive HGH frame, he could look like true Jordy. Probably a Habib fan. Still, you don't get. Listen, if you're Conor McGregor and you've had this many issues outside of the cage, slapping the old man, punching people, taking phones, stomping them, doing all this other shit, it gets to a point where it's like you have to know you're the celebrity in the room. You have to know that are gonna try to push your buttons, dude. What someone comes up is like, ah, Habib beat your ass. Remember in Vegas a couple weeks, like it was a couple months ago, he spit on the guy and he told him. He's like, I spit on you. You have to realize people are gonna troll you forever. Not saying that it's right for a guy to come up and talk shit and walk away, but for Conor to start punching people after they say something he doesn't like is also not right. And worse, the old man didn't even do nothing. Old man was just sitting there. It's not like he gave the guy another chance. Where he slapped him was like, say it again. No, he slapped him and then dropped the left hand on him. I'll ask you guys this. If you're that guy, let's say the punch doesn't even hurt. Right. Let's say he's not even hurting you with the punch. Do you flop? You take the slap and then he hits you with the punch. And then do you just like flop over and like, hope that you can sue him? Is that. Is that where we're at, society? Because it looked like that's. I mean, the dude fell and he for sure got hit with a big time shot. Pullback counter right. All right. I'm sure your pullback counter right is going to work on Connor. I'm punching back. I think I could win. Yes. Rodolfo Pilato. Facts, dude. We're pulling a Bolano out here. He feels so privileged. Thinks he can punch anybody he wants. I mean, yeah, this is just a bad look again from Conor McGregor. What are we supposed to say at this point? I wonder what the guy said to him. It probably had to do with Habib. You know, that's. That's probably the only thing I can imagine that would set him off that quickly. Or like McChicken or like, you know, you tap like chicken some dumb. But still. Yeah, I'm not surprised. This doesn't surprise me. It's just another long line of like, Connor being an idiot. Damn, that dude did hit the floor. Floor. Oh, my God. McGregor's then shielded from club goers by his own friends. Okay, then what happens? And we just stand there and it just kind of goes back. Your wife is me. Dms. Hey, baby. Someone said that man. Terrence McKinney. What the hell? That man got to get paid for fighting Conor before. Chandler, not defending Conor here because nothing really can justify this, but it got to wonder what the man said to him. If the first thing that we ask is what did the guy say to him? I think we're thinking about this the wrong way. Not to excuse the guy for just popping up at the mouth and saying some crazy shit, but he didn't physically put hands on him, at least not in this video. We didn't see anything like that. Someone says something you don't like, you can't haul off and assault them. Dude. It's not how the world works. And Conor has probably had a ton of. Of, you know, civil suits that he's had to settle for doing. Like that we. We probably don't even know about some of them. He probably said something about his kids. Why. Why are you keep spamming? He probably said something about his kids. What would this guy walk up to Conor McGregor and be like, your kids are like, what? Why would anybody do that? Why would you guys are saying he talked about Conor's family. Who? What? Why? Maybe the guy was drunk. So when you get drunk, you go up to. If there's a celebrity near you, you start badmouthing their kids. No, dude, the more likely option is he said something about Conor's fighting ability or Habib or his whiskey or things that Conor's known for. Not like, hey, you and your kids. And even if, and even if he did say that new combo starter, even if he said something about Conor's wife, you still can't punch him in the fucking face. I'm not saying that the guy's right for doing it if that's what happened, but you can't, you can't assault people for just saying things to you. The guy has absolutely no reason to say anything about his kids. Exactly. You guys are making up a scenario. Dude, unless this is like some fucking Kinahan Irish mob thing that Conor is, I've heard at least got some loose connections to potentially, which is again another seventh layer of hair. Yeah, he probably said something about the whiskey or something about Conor's fighting ability. I know you guys are fans of Conor. I am one of the biggest American born Fans of Conor McGregor. This is just the truth. I loved Conor McGregor. I loved his fight style, I loved his attitude, I loved his commitment. I loved all of it. I loved the whole story. But you have to call a spade a spade. The guy when he gets liquored up, when he's out at a club, I don't even know if it's liquor. I think it's just Conor's natural ego that comes to the surface and the liquor helps it get there. Because you can blame the liquor, you can blame the. And you can blame the drugs all you want, but at a certain point they're just a reflection of the personality type. You've become like old Conor was not like that old Conor. When I say old Conor, I mean before money, you could say money did it to him, I don't know. But ego, even in the face of like people not believing in him, wasn't that when he had a little bit of money and he started developing an ego and started to be around fans and people that, you know, outside of just Ireland, this, this stuff started happening more and more, really when he started losing and people started heckling more and more. Maybe the guy handed him the wrong coke. Money just showed Conor's true colors. I don't know, man. Because I don't think that money enhances something you already are. Sometimes I think it can turn you into something that you weren't before. Like, I think money changes people. I really do. I think that it can be mitigated for sure and you can still be the same person you always were. But I think having that amount of money and a lack of supervision or a lack of trustworthy people around you to keep you grounded can change you. Yeah.
Analyst 3
Punching the old dude in the bar.
Analyst 1
Least we forget this one. I'm sure this old guy said something about his family too, right? Nope, just did. Not want to drink Conor's whiskey. And Conor hauled off and punched him back. Sweat's changing. I think I'm changing for the better. I'm in a committed relationship, trying to take care of my family, all of that. Conor could have killed him. Low key. Conor just fell into a dark place and hasn't gotten out of it. I mean, did he fall into a dark place or did he walk into it willingly? Because he's had every opportunity to change his trajectory and how he is either perceived in the public or the things that he gets himself into, these are. These are decisions. You know what I mean? When he threw that dolly through that bus, he wasn't thinking about the people on the bus. He was thinking about revenge. It was a decision. Punch that old dude. He wasn't thinking about fucking anything, I guess, but rage. And he was embarrassed, I guess. I don't know. This thing, same thing. Embarrassed, probably. Conor could. Probably. No joke. I'm not a huge believer in therapy for everything, but Conor could use therapy, I think. Definitely. Because I think he is. The macho, bravado, ego of Conor McGregor won't allow him to accept what's happened to him in the second part of his career. I think that's what it really is. And all this pent up, like I have to maintain that person that I was before. I have to maintain this invincibility to himself because no one else believes it, but he got to believe it. Wade, you also defecate in the streets. I do. The mean streets of Orange County. Conor's going to be on the therapist. But like think about it. He still won't accept he lost to Habib. He won't accept he lost to Dustin Poirier and got knocked out by Dustin Poirier. Let's not forget that Conor got knocked out cold, slumped on the floor by Dustin Poirier. I don't think he accepts that, only accepts the be bloss. I think those things still probably eat at him. Because if you strip everything away from Conor McGregor, one thing you could say about him is he's a fighter. Wade. Let's not act like it wasn't a robbery. Yeah, he's a fighter, and that's where all of his pride is. You think he changed after the Floyd fight? I think he got a little more complacent after the Floyd fight. Yeah, I think that. Absolutely. That boxing money made him more complacent so that he took more time away from mma. And by the time he came back to mma, the game had changed. He was obviously not as fresh, he was not as prepared, he wasn't as switched on. It was more revenge that brought him back versus the ability to be the greatest, which is all he wanted to be beforehand. Dustin Poirier made the calf kick blow up after the counterfeit. No, that's the thing is, like, yeah, the calf kick, you know, got a lot of attention, but the calf kick had already had attention before that. Before Connor got hit with the calf kick, we had D.J. doing it to Henry Cejudo. We had Sean O' Malley getting hit with it. We had T.J. dillashaw doing it. We had a lot of people doing it before that ever got Benson. Henderson was the one that essentially created it before Conor got hit with that. Dustin only started doing it because it was done to him. But when it happened to Conor, more people went, oh, my God, look at it. It had already been four years. That's one of the more ironic things about it. And the thing that Conor still doesn't do and probably won't, because he won't ever fight. There were no checks, but Conor was in an era of MMA that did not include it. And when he left and started doing the boxing, and then he came back and fought Habib once. Habib, not really known as a kicker. That part of the game is something he didn't even spar against. He didn't even see in sparring, let alone in a fight, until Dustin Poirier brought it to his front door like, oh, shit. So, yeah, man, this is just another. Another instance. And you get to a point where you're like, what do we even say? I'm fully done with thinking Conor's ever going to fight again. I think that ship has sailed. But he's talking about wanting to be a politician, and I don't know who took that seriously. Maybe again, his own delusion believes that's going to happen. I've been to Ireland, I've been to Dublin, and they don't even like him there. And I hate to say it, but they don't Even like him. I talk to people that are, I'm around whether it was taxi drivers, bartenders, servers, workers in retail, anybody. I could kind of work it into the conversation. They're probably tired of it because Americans probably ask all the time about him. But I would try to work it into the conversation. This was in 2023. Just to see, like, do they even like this guy? And the answer was always no. We're embarrassed by him. We don't like him. And that's sad because he was carrying the flag for those people. And now what, he's, he's gonna, he's gonna run for, for political office with stuff like this still happening, how can you trust a man again, hypothetically? Because of course this would never really happen. But how could you trust a man to run your country when he can't even run his, his life? He is so dysfunctional in the way that he, he acts and carries himself. Why would you even think that he's someone not only to run your country, but to look up to in the country? It's goofy shit, man. I really don't know. I. It kind of worries me too, to be like, what's gonna happen with this guy? Is he just gonna flame out and, you know, raise his kids and be the old scorned fighter that pushes his son into fighting and does all that? Maybe, but I'm not expecting the old Conor anymore. I'm not expecting that. And when I say the old Connor, if he's not fighting someone that is around the sport, someone that is dedicated to his family and the sport or something where he's not just a party animal like this and doing stupid shit, I don't expect it anymore, though. John Fury 2.0. Legit. Legit. Looks like that could be where he's headed. No joke how he hasn't seen jail time. I mean, Conor is well connected, obviously in Ireland as well, super well connected and can probably pay off a lot of people that would press charges. Why the UFC aren't releasing him makes no sense. It's a lose lose if you release Conor, because if you release him, then you don't get to potentially make money off him. And whatever he does in the future, it means that you'll probably never have the opportunity to bring him back. Like then you give Conor all the control. He went to court for the bus incident, right? But he didn't go to jail is what I'm saying. They stop him from boxing, they stop him from bare knuckle. You don't want to give up that Money because then you give Conor control and Conor can, you know, I don't want to come back. I want to do this, this, this for the rest of my career. It's kind of fucked up, I'm not going to lie. But at the same time, that's business, you know, I'm saying I got nothing else to say other than Conor just continues to disappoint. That's really, it just continues to disappoint MMA fans and the people that cared about his legacy, the people he inspired with his run up to the belt, him winning the belt, two time champ, all that, but it's nothing new. I expect more of this from Conor. I expect continuous dysfunction and I expect him to end up the old bitter, scorned fighter that never got over the two most impactful losses of his career and it drove him just be whatever this version of him is. It's sad. I saw a video today, or a clip from a video today of Vidal watching his fight back against Chef Clark with none other than Mr. Drum roll please.

KSI.
Analyst 1
That's right, Mr. KSI. Do we not care, do we care about Logan breaking his leg? Why not throw a parade? I mean, we don't care. Like he'll, he'll be fine. Mr. KSI sat down with Vidal Riley to talk about Vidal's fight, but also to talk about KSI's fight, which at this point I want to make clear. Vidal fucking goat. You know what I'm saying? The British champion about to have another fight coming up. But today's video, I want to talk about KSI, of course, because I want to know what his mindset was off the Tommy Fury loss. We've heard him say he didn't lose it. We've heard him say he thought he won, but we haven't heard why he boxed the way he boxed. We've only seen that that's what he did, right? Because one of the biggest things that KSI was able to do that others weren't, including Jake, was able to stifle Tommy a little bit, was able to make the fight a little bit more rough and tumble, was able to make it a bit of a slop fest because both him and Tommy were very sloppy, Toppy and they didn't have the greatest performance, but the fight was close because of some of the things JJ was doing. So I've always asked the question, why, why was that the approach, and is it beneficial for KSI if he is to take the rematch, if he is to ever box again, does he need to switch Things up and when potentially can that happen? Let's get into it. The breakdown. Let's go take a look.
KSI
Chat to lean back from the initial one.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
Boom.
Analyst 1
Hold that.
KSI
That's the best shot of the fight.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
So how do you feel?
Analyst 1
Yeah.
KSI
So last time you got in the ring was Tommy. Was Tommy.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
How did you feel going into that last round?
Host
I felt like I was winning.
KSI
Yeah.
Host
And I was like, all right. I got like, try and make a statement.
KSI
Yeah.
Host
It's like, screw it. Like, you know, this is a big moment.
Analyst 1
I like that mindset. By the way, if you look. If you think back on the KSI Tommy fight, the rounds are super murky. Right. Not a lot of punches landed from either guy. I think Tommy had a point taken away at a certain point in the fight as well. And for that last round, KSI has been in a couple different fights now where the last round is the most important round. And he tends to make a statement in those last rounds to either pull back even with Logan for a draw or beat Logan a second time by essentially winning those last rounds or they last round. And when he needs to. To make a statement or when he needs to. To win a moment, he's got the heart to do it. So I. I like the mentality there. Like, I got to go and do something. I got to make it happen. Not like, oh, I just got to survive this round and I win. Oh, I just need to. To box on the outside and. And, you know, touch him up a little bit, and then I win. He's like, no, I need to go win this. I love the mindset.
Host
I'm shattered. I'm knackered. I've been bouncing the whole time.
KSI
Yeah.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Host
Because I knew if I. If I didn't bounce, bro, he would have just cut the ring off.
KSI
Because this is what. This is what you were saying. Because when me and Leon made the video and we were saying about, like, why was he bouncing? Why did he bouncing? Then you were saying that you felt like if you didn't do that, that he would be able to make it. Would make it easier.
Host
So much easier.
KSI
You think that threw him off?
Host
Yeah.
Analyst 2
Yeah.
Host
And because, you know, he's been boxing for most of his life.
KSI
Yeah.
Host
So I just knew, like, if I just stood there, like, fought, you know, with a little bit of movement, he would have just come through with shots, and then I would have been like.
Analyst 1
And then, well, I mean, okay, what is this? KSI versus Tommy made me pro choice. Are we for real, dude? What the Fuck. This is essentially KSI admitting that he is not technically as good a boxer to. To be able to compete with Tommy by boxing in the, in the traditional sense. And I kind of like that. That's a little bit of self reflection to say, you know what, I have to do some things differently to be able to compete at this level. And he's right. He's not a traditional boxer, he's not someone that's trained this sport for years and years. He's going to have to take and if you want to call it shortcuts or you want to talk about it being a different route, he's going to have to do something to even the playing field. And him standing bladed and being a little bit more elusive, you know, the bounce, whatever, but just being in and out, being bladed and leaving it up to Tommy to try to risk things, to get to range to, to throw more output but also be in the firing line longer is not a bad strategy. There is, however, a peak to that, as in if you get good at doing just that and not the fundamentals of boxing, you're going to plateau at a certain level and once somebody figures out how to handle just an unorthodox fighter, then it's going to be curtains, right? Especially if you're going into a rematch where someone has seen it before. This is why I've always thought, you know, KSI as a once in a while boxer can work because if you only see him so much, there isn't a lot of game footage or game tape on him to be able to make a ton of adjustments, right? But if KSI is continuously doing this and people get more and more tape, eventually you're going to run into a guy that has better fundamentals, that understands how to implement the fundamentals, his technique, his training, his experience, and figure out very quickly how to shut down one to two to three good things you do and leave you exposed. So this is the only thing that when I come back and I, and I, I wonder what KSI is going to do next. I don't know how long he's going to be able to get away with this, right? He can get away with it and has gotten away with it up until this point. But when you're relying on, I don't want to call it a gimmick because it isn't, but when you're relying on a specific skill set and you haven't built the fundamentals to go with that skill set, to be able to change and add new wrinkles to it and Add new wrinkles to your game based off the foundation that you have in the sport, then eventually it's going to let you down. It's kind of one of those things. It's like your biggest strength is your biggest weakness. What got you to the dance eventually will be what removes you from it if you stay in too long and if you overexpose it. Right. So for KSI, I, I don't mind the strategy because Tommy had never seen anything like that. He'd never seen anything like that. I don't care what he says about mate, I've spawned people like you in the street, mate. They come out of pubs, mate.
Analyst 3
No, you, you.
Analyst 1
He's never seen anything like that. But now that he has, it may be and should be a bit more easy for him to navigate. And KSI is probably right. Had he stood there and tried to box without being in and out of range, without being elusive and hard to hit and being lighter on his feet, he probably would have gotten beaten, knocked out. I don't. Well, Tommy doesn't really knock out many people, but he probably would have gotten beat. So I don't mind the strategy. I would just implore KSI, if he's going to continue to box, that he takes this time off. I know he's got a hand surgery but he takes his time off to get back to the fundamentals, to lay a foundation for what happens when either I get too tired from constantly being on the move. And again, this was a six round fight, so a six round fight. What happens when he goes eight? What happens when he goes 10? Listen, I'm not acting like I can do six rounds and be fresh because I can't. You guys saw me in four rounds. I can't fight for very long. But I'm also not trying to fight Jake Paul trying to fight Tommy Fury, trying to, to, you know, be at that level. So if that's the case, KSI is going to have to find something to give himself either some rest time or to fall back on because just doing the bounce saves you from, you know, being in a Marcus of Queensberry technical boxing match. But it also will lead to his detriment, I think. Who do I think won the fight? I thought it was a draw. I did, I thought it was a draw. I didn't think that Tommy did enough to win. I thought if anything KSI had done enough to gain a draw. Sometimes you got to pretend you didn't read some of these comments. You did. Yeah. Jaden, I don't know. Some people Are weird. Anyway, back to it.
Host
He's just there, like, I don't know what to do with this. And you tell he was getting frustrated.
Analyst 1
It freezes Tommy a bit, right? It freezes him. It freezes him. This bounce. Because KSI can dart and jump in. It freezes him. A draw with a one point deduction. Yes. Why is that a question? Go ahead, write your scorecards out. Get the fingers moving on the. On the keyboard. I thought it was a draw, but no for KSI. 2 Again, your first time against that, it's very difficult to maneuver. One, it's not even the bounce. To me. It's more the bladed stance. KSI can hide his right hand really well with the bladed stance. I'd have to go back and re watch the fight to rescore it, Bird, but if you'd like to score it, go ahead. Having a lead shoulder hide your back shoulder is so much of an advantage if you can keep it hidden and not get into clinch situations. A ton. They clinched a ton. But Tommy didn't do anything besides jab his way to clinch and then try to release. I don't care how it was scored. I care about how I saw the fight. I looked at it as a draw. I couldn't give a fuck about point deduction. I didn't see anybody do anything enough to win the fight. It was a sloppy fight that either fighter didn't do enough to win. I couldn't care about the scorecard of the fight. Couldn't gave a shit. KSI, in my opinion, didn't lose. He also didn't look like he did anything to win. Tommy, in my opinion, didn't lose. KSI never really hurt him. There was such a lack of punches thrown and landed and it looked like two guys that had a sloppy fight and no one really separated themselves. But I didn't think ASI lost. I thought he looked better than I thought he would look as well. Bird. Like I said, I'd have to go back and watch the fight you guys get so hung up on. Oh my God. How did you score? Round 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. It's two years later. I don't know how I scored the goddamn fight. Jesus. What I remember was there were very close rounds that most punches were landed either in the clinch as they were being separated or a jab here and there. I think KSI landed the most meaningful shot of the fight early, but it was, it was, it was not a great fight to. To watch as far as like the technique of it. It was a fun fight. To watch for me, because it was a moment, you know, it was a moment that I didn't expect to happen. You know what I mean? I thought KSI was going to get overwhelmed by volume and that Tommy was at some point going to learn how to keep himself at range and not smother his work. But he hasn't. KSI took advantage of the fact that Tommy couldn't just jab and when he couldn't just jab, he smothered himself. And KSI was right there to try to land in the clinch and then they'd separate and again and again and again. That was kind of it. But before we got off topic because I'm now thinking about how to score around from two years ago. I think that KSI did exactly what his skill set allowed him to do. I wasn't a big fan of the game plan from team Shoot fighters. Right. Especially the part where they were like let's, let's clinch him and hope he hits you in the back of the head. That was a bit of an odd one. And by the way, both fighters hit each other in the back of the head multiple times. Tommy was not the only guy that hit somebody in the back of the head. So I wasn't a big fan of that. But yeah, KSI had to kind of fight that way or. And he's kind of explaining it there. He would have lost. And that's not a bad thing to admit to me. That's, that's having some self introspection and going, yeah, you know, this is what we had to do because he was gonna, he was gonna do that, you know what I'm saying? Like that's not a bad thing to me. But it's, it's interesting to hear him talk about it because all we've heard him say is I think I won.
Host
You know, and he was trying to establish his dad job.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Host
But because I was never really there.
Analyst 1
He played with it. Yeah, it's because KSI wasn't there or he was here. Right. There was a very stark difference between like KSI just never boxed in the mid range point blank. That's what happened. KSI never boxed in that mid range. He was either clinch range inside or out of range completely. And yeah, that was going to frustrate Tommy because Tommy likes to work in the mid range too close, likes to close with the jab. If you're not there while he's closing and then in between you're there, it's going to fuck him up.
KSI
It played him, but the Last round, you're thinking, statement.
Host
Yeah. I mean, you have to, like, did.
KSI
You feel that it was close or did you feel like you was winning but you still wanted to put a statement?
Host
I think I felt like. I felt like it was close, but I thought because of the back of the headshot and him losing a point and, you know, me hitting him quite a few times, especially in the clinch, I was like, okay, I've won this, but I need to just make sure.
Analyst 1
Right attitude, right attitude, perfect attitude, regardless of what you're doing to be able to go, you know what? I still need to make a statement. That's the right attitude to have. I like it. Tommy said he brought people in to do what JJ does, but there's not really anybody that does what JJ does that Tommy could bring in unless he found MVP to come do it. You know what I'm saying?
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
KSI
There's me going into the last round here. I'm thinking, okay, I'm winning. We can. Yeah, I don't have to stop. Just like, let me. I could have. Let's do it.
Host
Yeah, yeah. Like, you didn't even need to do that, but you just.
KSI
No, if you don't watch boxing, it's just like, okay, he won, but what happened? What are we saying? Yeah.
Analyst 1
Oh, good.
KSI
He's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Kind of just talking. Cool.
Host
What validity?
KSI
Yes.
Host
To you, like in public or online?
KSI
No, like the whole. Everyone's opinions change now.
Host
Okay?
KSI
Everyone's opinion change. Everyone's like, no, yo, sick box.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
KSI
Next up, bro.
Host
Always rated you, man.
KSI
People say that you're YouTuber, but, bro, trust me, you're serious.
Analyst 1
There has been a flip on Vidal for sure. From the. From the public, like the UK sports public especially. There's been a flip. Obviously, people in this community, people in KSI's community, you know, influencer boxing fans in general, always felt like regardless of what Vidal did and the influencer boxing side, that he has real talent. I still think he has elite level talent for cruiserweight, but that, that's, you know, something he has to still go do. But a lot of the. The UK pundits, right, and former boxers didn't think that way. They thought of him as the guy, the YouTuber that boxes. Not knowing he was. I mean, either not knowing or not caring to know that he was a super decorated amateur. Eddie Hearn thought Chef Clark was the better amateur and pro. He got found out, you know what I'm saying? There's just a lot of people that. That Maybe because the age, the inactivity that I'll take in time off from the sport for a while. I don't know, the YouTube stuff, the music, whatever. They just didn't see it and. And the rest of us did. We should be vindicated. Chat.
KSI
You know what I mean? So now everyone's finally with it.
Host
Okay.
KSI
People are actually like, nah, that guy can box. But we've been saying that.
Host
Yeah, yeah.
KSI
Seven years after you said it.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
We've got the British title now. Let's leave him there.
Host
Yeah, yeah. Mandatory, okay.
KSI
Yeah, he's my mandatory. So he's been making some noise saying he's. He wants to go next. Oh, this Alois guy.
Host
Okay.
KSI
I'm telling you about. He's my mandatory.
Host
Okay.
KSI
Yeah, he's my mandatory. So he's been making some noise saying he's. He wants to go next.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
KSI
And I'm like, cool, isn't it?
Host
Oh, you down?
KSI
Let's run it. Yeah, I'm ready to get back in the ring. September.
Analyst 1
Hard miss Scrap Sick September. Hold on a second. Vidal coming back in September. Do you think he has an opportunity to get on the Canelo and Terence Crawford undercard in Vegas? I think for the British title, they may want to do it in the uk, which would probably make more sense. And it's probably just me being selfish, wanting my boy to get a spotlight, but, hey, you never know. That's right. The. The Eubank and Ben 2 rematch is also scheduled for September, so I just wish he was on Netflix. That'd be cool, man. What a spot. But it's. If they're gonna put him on that undercard, I think that's another great spot for him as well. They'd have to. They'd have to put him in somewhere. Like, you can't defend the British boxing title in Vegas. You got to do it in England. You got to. Yeah, I don't think. I don't think that'd be a bad thing. I'm just saying that Vegas card would be nice.
KSI
That's it. So he's. And he's got a Commonwealth title.
Host
Okay.
KSI
So he's got a Commonwealth.
Host
So you take that from him.
KSI
Yeah. British and Commonwealth title fight.
Host
Yeah, yeah. Two belts.
KSI
Sounds good to me. But he's on this. Yeah, I'm gonna cut the ring down.
Host
Yeah, yeah.
KSI
And I'm gonna knock him out.
Reporter
That's what he said.
KSI
I'm gonna cut that ring down. I'm like, yeah, I like it. He's talking that stuff.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
What's his record, was it 8 and 1 or 9 and 1? Something like. He lost early in his career.
Analyst 1
Rumored for the co main on Netflix. Oh, my God. There's no way. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. J.J. sounds like a Hungry, Hungry Hippo, dude. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, bro. If that happens, I might. My pants. If Opetaya fights Benavidez, which Benavidez would be coming up from light heavyweight, that'd be another move up. Which is fine. He's a beast anyway. But oh, my Lord, that would be insane.
KSI
Good run since. But then he should just continue his run. But he wants to trouble me, so.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do it.
KSI
Let's do it. So I had to make sure.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
KSI
I addressed him.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
As the mandatory challenge.
Host
Okay. Sick.
KSI
But, yeah, man, this is.
Host
Wow.
Analyst 1
Yeah, yeah.
Host
It'd be good to see what.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Host
Who did these highlights?
KSI
Come on.
Analyst 2
Yeah, yeah.
Host
That's the thing. Like, there's a huge. There's a huge amount of people who know of you. And, you know, the more times I see, especially when you have, like, fights against, like, the top, top guys, that's when I would be like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, That's Vidal. Oh, and then they'll look and go.
Analyst 1
Oh, this isn't KSI's video to copyright strike. This is Vidal's video. But yeah, he probably would keep getting.
KSI
We're just gonna keep getting. You're not allowed to do both. If you're gonna be successful in this, then you're not allowed to have a YouTube channel. Now every fight has got a YouTube channel.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
Anyway, it's just that we. I was the first to do it in this side of things, and Ryan. But I'd say, UK wise, I was probably the first boxer on this route to invest in social. Ryan obviously done it in the U.S.
Analyst 1
True, by the way. Yeah. Vidal. I mean, other fighters have since gotten social media and YouTube channels and AJ and those guys. But, yeah, I think Vidal might be the first one.
KSI
The UK here. Who in the briefcase? We do.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Analyst 1
Wait, where's the clip about Jake?
KSI
No, no, no.
Host
So, okay, okay.
KSI
So did you. Did you get a chance to see this fight? Did you. Liv's entrance?
Host
Yeah. You gotta admit, it's a good song.
KSI
But at the same.
Host
Yes.
KSI
So obviously the better entrance was mine.
Analyst 1
God dang it out to me.
KSI
What do you mean? Oh, you're giving us credit. Are you giving us credit?
Host
European tile hammering jj or do you.
KSI
Think you do it on purpose?
Host
I don't do it on purpose.
KSI
All right. Anyway, was Reacting to me. You and Leon done it.
Analyst 1
I gotta get the Jake clip off, dog the belt. Oh, it makes sense for the video.
KSI
Old school day. We were doing it in the sidemen house, though.
Host
Well, this is sick.
KSI
To a fight. So he's the first.
Host
Yeah.
KSI
How about you? Yeah, because it's been on tour.
Terence Crawford
Briefcase.
Analyst 1
Yeah, bruh. Help me chat. God dang it. Someone said search the transcripts. Excuse me. Okay, hold on. Aha. Found you.
Host
Always get the.
Analyst 1
Leo. You're gonna have to figure out the way to. To chop this video.
Host
Oh, Jake Paul versus Vidal.
Analyst 1
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
KSI
I'm still getting that. I'm still getting that. But that's because he's saying he wants to be world champion.
Host
Yeah, but it's just stupid, man. It's just so pointless.
KSI
He's saying he wants to be world champion, so.
Host
Yeah, by being my Tyson. Yeah. Crazy, bro.
KSI
So he needs to. I don't know, man. I don't know. I feel like that that fight is always. People always gonna say that.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
KSI
For as long as, like, same way people say about you.
Host
Yeah, yeah.
KSI
It's the same for me because he's literally blending the light, like, blurring the lines.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
KSI
So he's like, yeah, I'm gonna be world champion. Then he's like, yeah, KSI. And it's like, so literally, you're like, bro, I'll beat you up. And I'm like, this guy's coming to my section as well. So he's just active in it. He's just.
Analyst 1
He is active. I said this yesterday when I saw the clip for the first time. But KSI is a generational hater of Jake Paul. Like, that's the truest way to describe that, you know? Generational hater. And there's nothing wrong with that because he's a rival of Jake. Right. And they've been rivals even before the boxing, the music, and everything else. He's just a generational hater. I saw a clip of Jake the other day in Puerto Rico or somewhere doing a workout, talking about, oh, he's too busy crying about his song, crying about his music video. He ain't. He's too busy fighting off the haters of his music. He ain't fighting me. They both take pot shots at each other, Right. It is a little ironic because JJ is like, Mr. Defy the odds. Mr. Like, Test yourself, Mr. Prove everyone wrong. So for him to be like, oh, it's stupid for Jake to want to be a world champ. Yeah. That's like people saying, like, oh, it's stupid for KSI to want to make music, right? Because that's not what he's good at. That's not what, what, you know, he's known for. He's a YouTuber. I don't think JJ would say this if it was anybody other than Jake, right? I think he would be like, nah, go chase. Go do what you're doing, man. People are gonna say that it's impossible, but you can go do it. But because him and Jake are bitter rivals, of course he's gonna have a little bit of haterade ready. You know what I'm saying? Hot and ready. These weak arms are heavy type shit. Uh, so that's kind of like, you know, all right, a little bit of haterade there. But at the same time, I think JJ also wants the Jake Paul fight. I think that's part of it too. He just wants it, you know what I'm saying? I think he's like, ah, no, don't worry about that. Come fight me.
KSI
But this showed just a good level. The levels. I mean, I'm trying to think. Did you see this when they were doing these people in between?
Host
Yeah. So I think they had Ed Sheeran.
KSI
That one actually looked like.
Host
Well, so a lot of people were.
Analyst 1
Like, oh my God, that was weird. How turkey and, and I don't really know. I guess it's because of the whole they don't do ring card girls, but like they had like stand ins of like Ed Sheeran. In New York, there was Hulk Hogan. That one's apparently Anthony Joshua look alike. It's just like I didn't understand any of it, dude. One of them was a Snoop Dogg look alike. But yeah, that was. I was an odd part of the whole thing. Can you become world champion without fighting anyone in the rankings? Technically, no, you can't. You can become one by fighting a contender that's ranked for a vacant belt or you fight the person that has the actual belt. But the rankings can be manipulated. Let's not get that mistaken. These sanctioning bodies can just rank people. Devin Haney's ranked at 147 despite never fighting there. Manny Pacquiao just got put back into the rankings after however many years off. At 46 years old, it. It can be manipulated. But I think Jake, you know, if he is to become a world champion, he's gonna have to. He's gonna have to fight some really, really tough competition. I still don't think it's possible, but you never know. You never know because Jake doesn't care about A domestic belt. Being a world champion is what he cares about. So he doesn't want to take the traditional run to it. He wants to find a way to beat names like Chavez Jr. Potentially, you know, somebody else with a massive name that has a history of being a high level boxer and then use that to parlay it into getting shoved into the rankings and fighting for a belt. So take shortcuts. Absolutely. I don't think that's like, that's clear to see. If you ask Jake if he's gonna fight for a domestic belt, he's gonna tell you no. Of course. I think everybody knows that. Everybody knows that Jake is going to take a shortcut and has taken a shortcut. In the sport of boxing, he didn't fight amateur at all. If he gets to a world title belt, it won't be because he fought number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ranked to, to find his way through that. It'll be because like I said, he fights guys like Chavez. Potentially fight someone like, don't like this fight for Javante Davis and Canelo or anything else. But what would you have him do? You know, like Jake is a, is a bit of a unicorn, you know, it's not like he can, like, it's almost dumb for him to try to do that. It's almost like it's stupid for him to try to fight all these ranked guys with a name as big as he is, with one loss being pretty much the end of it. It doesn't make sense for him to run through the gauntlet. And by the way, I think a bunch of these boxers would be like, oh yeah, I'd do that too if I could. You know, I would go and fight whoever else. If that's how I could do it, then I would. That's the point. Not saying it's the right way to earn a world title, not saying it's the traditional way, not saying it's even the best way for the con. Kind of like the continuity of the sport. But that's just, that's what has to be done for Jake to even get that shot. To me, I don't see him fighting four through one ranked, you know. Yeah, it's kind of the same thing as, as, you know, people like better Bev and Daniel Dubois calling Jake out for a fight. You know, it's the same kind of thing. But anyway, there is KSI talking with Vidal Riley about his fight with Tommy Fury. Them chatting about him and Jake. Paul, listen, I don't know if we're ever going to get KSI back in a ring? I hope so, but I don't know. And if he does get back, I still don't think we're getting the Jake fight, at least not right away. Maybe somewhere down the line, maybe it'll be a Floyd in Manny's situation where we get it when they're both way too old and the lack of people caring are still around. But we'll see. I want to see if KSI does fight for eight rounds, how he looks, if he decides to switch up and stop being so bladed and, you know, so active on his feet, how that helps or hurts him. And does he if this time off, right with all this time, he's going to have to recover from surgery. Does he go back and work more on the fundamental foundation of boxing? That's what I want to see. Because that will take him to a different level. That will take him to a place where he has an advantage of using a technique and a style that's a little different from everybody else. But when he combines it with the fundamentals of a jab and other things, I think that can make him a lot more dangerous than he already is. It's just a matter of will he commit to doing it because it's not fun. Trust me to work on the fundamentals. It's not flashy. It's not even a hard workout. It's just frustrating, painstaking technique drilling to make sure that you don't have to think about it anymore. A jab won't win you fights. It absolutely will. I, I really worry that you guys don't watch the sport. I, I, I'm, I, I truly worry. If you think a jab can't win you a boxing match, you're out of your mind. Sometimes a jab alone by itself can win you a boxing match. It was w rage bait you anyway, I don't have the answers for what happens next with KSI or Vidal. He's got a fight coming up. I hope he wins. I hope it's a big spotlight for him. Co main event, something like that. But as of right now, I have no idea what happens next for either guy. I guess we'll find out. Folks, we are back on the way. Concept presented by the Ring magazine video that was just dropped about four hours ago. Demetrius Johnson teaches KSI tough lesson in MMA and BJJ the Mighty Journey. I knew this video was coming out because I work with some of the same people that Mighty Mouse works with on the back end of my channel. So yeah, I was excited about this I did not know what it would be. I was hoping there would be more boxing. I don't know that there is or isn't, but let's take a look as Demetrius Johnson took a day and trained with KSI.
Analyst 2
And then who comes to the door? KSI shows up.
Host
What's up? How we all doing?
Analyst 1
Sorry. I'm sorry. I don't. It's probably not KSI's bag. It's probably just the coach's bag. But this is the most ironic image based on the things said about KSI's coaches. Literally just bag carriers. Have you ever done any, like, grappling.
Analyst 2
Or learning any jiu jitsu?
Host
So I did. I did a little bit with Bismin and he just told me a new one, man.
Analyst 1
I mean, if you're getting. Now, granted, KSI has no grappling zero and most of the UK fight scene for a very long time. Not that KSI needed to learn how to grapple. Whatever. BJJ is not taught in the uk, or at least not until recently. It was not one of the arts that a lot of British fighters use wrestling as well. You get a lot of strikers, a lot of kickboxers, a lot of Muay Thai, even some. I mean, more Dutch kickboxing than Muay Thai, but all that in Europe. But recently you're starting to see more juice Jiu jitsu. I mean, even in the ufc, guys like Patty Pimblett, obviously Tom Aspinall's got great Jiu jitsu, but historically, you're not going to see a ton of guys that would be great grapplers coming out of of the uk. Which is why when Bisping is throwing you around, again, KSI has no experience, so whatever. But Bisping's big thing used to be he hated fighting grapplers, but he has enough to still put it on KSI.
Host
So he's a little bit smaller than me. So I think I've got a bit more of a chance. Bit more of a chance this time. Okay. I'm thinking we try wrestling for a bit.
Analyst 1
1,000 is not like $1.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've not. I've never done them before.
Analyst 2
You got to stay in a bubble. That makes it boring.
Host
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Analyst 1
They should have boxed. Why did they not do any boxing? Not like hard sparring, but like tech sparring. They should have done some of that. So.
Analyst 2
So we're gonna do. We're doing a very basic wrestling move.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
Very basic.
Analyst 1
Okay.
Analyst 2
So what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna do it to you and you're doing it to me.
Host
Okay, sure.
Analyst 2
Okay. It's called the single leg.
Host
Single leg. I know. Single leg.
Analyst 2
Okay. You know a single leg, right? So I'm gonna grab the single leg and we do this to work our balance.
Host
Okay?
Analyst 1
Right.
Analyst 2
So I'm gonna shoot in. Boom. Single. And you're just gonna hop around. Okay, Just gonna hop around. Keep your balance here. Yeah.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
Yeah, There you go. It's pretty easy, right?
Host
It's comfortable.
Analyst 2
You haven't been sexually assaulted yet with.
Analyst 1
The one leg, Right?
Analyst 2
Right. And then now we're sure pretty. This one down. I'm going to shoot through this one.
Analyst 1
Boom.
Analyst 2
Move around.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 1
This is.
Analyst 2
This is very basic, right? This is the very basic of. Of a single lady. Just walk around.
Host
Like, how would you get out of this?
Analyst 2
There's so many ways you get out of it.
Host
So many, so many.
Analyst 2
I've seen people do back flips.
Analyst 1
Oh, wow. Should be easy with all the bouncing.
Analyst 2
The legs back to put your foot to the ground. Put this. Put this foot to the ground. Oh, put it to the ground. Oh, my God. He's not strong.
Host
Wait, what?
Analyst 2
Yeah, like that, right?
Host
What the.
Analyst 2
Caitlin. So do you have my foot up?
Host
Yeah.
Analyst 1
Right. I am straight.
Analyst 2
I want my foot up. So I'm Bring you towards me and then go there like that.
Host
Okay. Wow.
Analyst 2
Now I'm here and I'm ready to put cross face, head snap, go for a choke. I mean, there's so many different things. Or the backflip, you know, guys just do backflips to get out of it. All right, so you want to focus on. Try to put this to the ground by bringing your chest towards me.
Host
So like that.
Analyst 2
Yep, yep. But now put your foot to the ground. Yeah, yeah, but you're. You're pushing your butt back. Don't push your butt back. Bring your hips into me when you push.
Host
What, like.
Analyst 2
Yeah, yeah, like that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right now? Yeah, there's all the. That's the weight I should be carrying.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
Yeah.
Analyst 1
Grappling strength, by the way, grappling strength is way, way, way different. There can be, like, strong, physically strong boxers, but, like, I don't know, man. I don't know how to describe it. Getting strong and then using that for grappling and the muscles involved with it. You can feel it when a guy, like, goes to take you down or gets his hands clasped together and they have, like, grappling strength. It's like suffocating different muscles. Tendon strength, probably a lot of it, too. Density in. In maybe in the makeup and like a burn. Bone density matters a lot, but it's. It's crazy, man. A lot of it is like forearm strength, back strength, obviously. Biceps too, when you want to squeeze. But it's. I had a guy one time and I was. I was like, just starting jiu jitsu just to show me how hard it is to grapple and how, you know, MMA fighters or whatever, they have these great poker faces. He body triangled me, which is not really a submission at all. Right. It's just a triangle around your stomach and dude, I couldn't breathe. My stomach wouldn't expand. I couldn't breathe. The pressure of it was like. Not only that, my ribs too. Like, it felt like I was going to suffocate and my ribs were going to break. He was 260, no Bradley Martin. But this, the point remains. That kind of strength and that difference, like, it's crazy.
Host
Okay, all right.
Analyst 1
I want to try something freaky ass. We.
Host
I want to try and survive.
KSI
Okay.
Host
From getting choked out.
Analyst 2
Now, do you want to start from top? Where do you want to start? Cuz it's all you get.
Analyst 1
All depends on.
Host
So what's.
Analyst 1
Realistically, I'd want to start from bottom. I know that sounds crazy. The reason you would want to start in like, you know, bottom half guard or whatever, or just, you know, bottom full guard, if you have any amount of training, is because you learn how to defend yourself off the bottom first. In most jiu jitsu class, you learn how to like, defend yourself off your back and get either off your back or to a better position first. But if you start in mounts and you don't. No, like, JJ probably doesn't. To stay very close, like chest to chest, get an over grip, get an underhook and hold on for dear life just so you can win the little challenge here. Then you're gonna get flipped. DJ is gonna buck his hips. Use the fact that you have no idea how to distribute your weight, and he's gonna flip you.
Host
We're staying the best way of survival for me.
Analyst 2
Well, I mean, for you, Yes. I mean, don't get in the fight with me. I guess the best way of survival.
Host
Man, for like a minute. I'm going to try and not get choked out for a minute.
Analyst 1
KSI should have started in half guard top, I think. But then again, DJ could just literally regain and. And either regain full or just get his hip out, shrimp posture and get up. Well, mount might have been the best spot, but KSI should have put his chest on DJ's chest.
Analyst 2
Just running away.
Host
Running away.
Analyst 2
Running away. Yeah. Not have to chase you, take the you down and all that stuff.
Host
Okay, wait. All right, I'll. I'll be in full.
Analyst 1
A lot of Jiu Jitsu pros start there. Yeah, I mean, the one big knock on Jiu Jitsu is like the. The butt sitting, but they're used to it. They. They know how to work offense and defense off their back. They do that little butt scoot thing, and then it, like, almost welcome you into their guard. They want you to be in their guard. That's why you see guys like Kron Gracie and UFC fights. Literally walk up to the dude, get his hands together, and try to yank him down into his. Like, he wants you to be in his guard so he can manipulate it. But for someone like JJ who has no experience, I wanted to say top half guard, but I don't know. Mount. Mount is difficult because you have no control of the legs.
Analyst 2
That's why in my guard, no full God.
Host
So I'm on top of you. Is that full mountain?
Analyst 2
You want full mount? Okay, full mount? No.
Analyst 1
Oh, dude.
Analyst 2
Yeah, I'll try that. I've done that before. Let's see.
Host
Okay. Yeah, in a minute. To survive.
Analyst 1
What did he just say?
Analyst 2
Yeah, I'll try for you.
Host
Is that full mountain?
Analyst 2
You want full mount? Full mount. Full mount.
KSI
And.
Analyst 2
Yeah, I'll try that. I've done that before, but let's see.
Analyst 1
Okay, I'll try that. I haven't done that before. We'll see. I assume he means we'll see. Like, we'll see if I can submit you from bottom in one mount. But he's definitely worked from bottom mount, like being mounted before. What? See, immediately. J.J. has no understanding of wide top mount is advantageous. There's no pressure in the backside of his legs. There's no pressure with his feet. There's no chest to chest pressure. He's way too far up. All Mighty Mouse really has to do is buck his hips. That's it. Immediately.
Analyst 2
No, here we go.
Analyst 1
From side control into the arm bar. Yikes. This would. Hey, yo. It's a crazy pause. J.J. just had no idea. Immediately. Now, Mighty Mouse doesn't really buck his hips. He immediately goes after his left leg. So he gets to his side, which is pretty standard. He doesn't buck his hips to get there because he might think if I buck my hips, JJ might put his hand down and I can get to his arm. Whatever. He just immediately goes after the. The lead fence to the leg roll. No side kick. Control immediately, isolate, beyond, or any submission.
Analyst 2
You want to get choked out.
Analyst 1
Oh, my light work. Dude, put it on a T shirt. My aunt is twerking on his head whilst holding his limb. Sparing him a break.
Host
Lord. Okay, F. F. Okay, okay. Holy.
Analyst 1
That's Tea bag, son. I'm the.
Host
I'm. I'm the little.
Analyst 2
I'm a little baby shark.
KSI
I'm not that good.
Host
How long was that?
Analyst 1
That was D.J. saying, I'm not that good. Shut up. Yeah, right.
Host
It felt like he was twice my weight. It felt like I had Eddie hall on me. It made no sense. He was just so much stronger than me. But I'm a strong guy, and he was making me weak. I felt useless.
Analyst 1
There's a difference between weightlifting strength and grappling strength. I forgot the terminology for it, but it's like, useful strength versus, like, measured strength. You wouldn't look at DJ and think he could bench press 225 or squat 300, but it doesn't really matter because the strength he has, grappling and for, you know, manipulating position and, you know, looking for submissions, all that is far greater than anything you can experience by lifting a weight up and putting it down. Unless you're somebody like Eddie hall or Thor Bjornsson or those guys who are so strong, it's, like, out of this world strong, that they can legitimately lock up some kind of neck crank that has no technique and pop your head off. You know what I'm saying?
Host
Let's do it.
Analyst 1
Go, KSI. Use your arms, buddy. Why is he trying to ride him like a bull? Look at him. Does he just think he can use his legs? Look, he's, like, riding him like he's a bull. Use your arms. Hold on to him. Underhook.
Analyst 2
You're good. You can do this for a living. No, you're asking Mom. Boy, how fast is that? 20 seconds or 17? Yeah, that's a little quicker. A little bit quicker.
Host
No, no, I want to try and survive the minute. We can do this.
Analyst 2
Okay, I'll let you survive a little longer. Okay.
Host
Okay. No. No. So reset.
Analyst 1
Reset.
Host
Yeah.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Host
So how long was that?
Analyst 2
17 seconds to 28 seconds. Like 10 seconds? Yes, but you're not trying. Try to survive.
Analyst 1
Yeah, try. That's another thing. I was gonna say, like, KSI is kind of, like, not. I don't know. I'm. Maybe he is trying, but it doesn't look like he's trying to survive. He's trying to, like, make a video and all that, but, like, actually try.
Host
He's Just doing stuff and I'm.
Analyst 2
That is true.
Host
That is true.
Analyst 1
Okay.
Analyst 2
I'll try to let you survive and just see how your body moves and all that stuff.
Host
One minute. Okay, cool. Okay, okay.
Analyst 2
You can hold me down.
Analyst 1
Do.
Host
Well, that's what I'm trying to do.
Analyst 1
Use all of your body.
Host
Boom, boom. Go.
Analyst 1
Use your arms. There we go. There we go. That's a little. Okay, I don't know about this position. This man. Hit him with the cuddle, dude. He hit him with the cuddle, son. Easy sweep. Look at that. Easy sweep off one foot. KSI doesn't post with his other arm either. DJ sweeps fairly easily with his left foot. Pushes off the ground. KSI is holding on for dear life. Should use this hand to post on the ground and stop DJ from sweeping him. He's literally attached to him like a fucking front facing backpack. Guys has no idea what he's doing.
Analyst 2
That's why, please. Here.
Analyst 1
He tried to get. Oh, here we go. Get to a hip. KSI.
Host
What kind of choke is this?
Analyst 1
Oh, my God.
Analyst 2
It's gonna hurt a little bit, but you'll be fine. Here it goes.
Analyst 1
Okay, you good?
Host
Yeah. Oh, my God. Okay.
Analyst 1
All right, let's, let's, let's do some film study breakdown here. So KSI then has a full guard. DJs immediately gonna get rid of the legs, get into half guard. He's already pinned one case. I has an underhook here, but he doesn't know what to use. He's got an underhook. He needs to get to a hip frame with it. Instead he gives up essentially everything in one moment. And now the underhook works against him because now he's gonna use it as an arm triangle. What kind of choke is this again? KSI even here, nice little triangle choke. KSI starts kind of just like flailing about. If he would drive his hips and his feet into the ground and buck here, he could get DJ off.
Host
That joke is this.
Analyst 1
You know, he's just kind of flailing about with his lower body.
Analyst 2
It's going to hurt a little bit.
Host
But you'll be fine.
Analyst 1
He doesn't know to try to stack DJ there either, which is another thing he could do is try to stack DJs own weight on top of himself. Try to not let him. I mean, you'll still get that triangle, but hopefully it'll alleviate it some to where you can start working on getting the legs free off of you.
Analyst 2
You're good.
Analyst 1
That's a rough one. Triangles are nasty.
Host
I don't know many of you don't.
Analyst 1
Have a lot of time once it's locked up. You do not have a lot of time before the freaking darkness starts closing in.
Analyst 2
Cool.
Host
All right.
Analyst 2
You didn't refer. You weren't this close.
Host
No, no, no, no. Well, we gotta do the thing.
Analyst 2
Oh, okay.
Analyst 1
There you go.
Host
Okay, cool. Let's go.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Analyst 2
You see, if we're boxing, you know, I got to make you stop. I got to hit.
Analyst 1
I truly believe KSI is. Is doing this for content. But then again, I. I got to remember that he doesn't have any grappling experience. I'm telling you right now, dude, again, I'm not trying to toot my own horn. I'm lasting a minute. I look at it like, you would treat this like someone's attacking you. You would fight arms, fight hands. You know, I think he tried it. Like, I would try to treat this like life and death, but I think he's doing it more, like, to be like, oh, content, you know? Okay, you ready?
Analyst 2
Again.
Host
All right. Boom.
Analyst 2
Go.
Host
Oh.
Analyst 2
See, you dumbass, you're better off.
Analyst 1
Oh, nice.
Host
Sweet.
Analyst 2
Look at this, man.
Analyst 1
Yeah. What's the. What's the gator roll there? We're doing D.J.
Analyst 2
That'S the worst thing you could do. 10 seconds here. How about this? New game. New game. You try to get up.
Analyst 1
There we go. That's what I want to see. Let JJ try to get to his feet. No submissions because this is getting embarrassing. Just. DJ tries to hold JJ Down. In a real life scenario, unless you are a trained grappler, one of the hardest things to do is to get someone off of you. If you've been knocked down, if you slipped and fell and they're trying to hurt, and that person most likely is not a trained grappler. So they're trying to throw punches and just stay, you know, in your face.
Analyst 2
Okay, you want to spread your legs out. Spread the legs out. There you go. And get on your toes. Right. Get your hips off the ground. Now put your weight on me. There we go. That's KSI's weight. Okay. That's how you hold someone way down.
Host
Okay?
Analyst 2
Right. But when you're putting your hips on the ground, then the ground is carrying your weight, not me. Right?
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
So that's why, you know, when you're even on me on mount, you're not putting your weight on me.
Analyst 1
You're.
Analyst 2
You're kind of like, getting to the ground where I can just move.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
So that's why I'm able to move so easily.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
But when you put your weight on me, Put your weight on me. There we go. Now I have to. You know, I can still get out, but I have to work harder to get out.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 1
Okay.
Host
Okay. So 20 seconds.
Analyst 2
20 seconds. From here.
Host
From here.
Analyst 2
Okay, cool.
Analyst 1
All right, now he's gonna get his hips immediately to the side.
Analyst 2
I'm gonna shape. Okay. Because I'm gonna get on your face now I'm gonna shake that.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
Because I have to get you off me.
Host
All right? Okay, Understood.
Analyst 2
All right. Okay.
Analyst 1
That means KSI, bury your head in his chest right now. That's what that means.
Analyst 2
Are you ready?
Analyst 1
You're not doing it. Go. There we go. That's what he needs to do. Perfect. That's better. The explosion's crazy.
Host
Yes.
Analyst 1
This is why I don't look at that frame right here. This is how he uses it. Instead of getting hand underneath, he goes frame here. Buck with the hips, and I'm out. This is why I don't like side control, though. This is why I was. I was surprised DJ said side control instead of half guard because he can't really defend against DJ's hips or his legs or anything. I think KSI, again, would be better off posting right here. But at this point, he's already lost the position because now we're hips, and now we're essentially 50. 50. On your side. On your side. Yeah.
Analyst 2
Now I'm still gonna choke you.
Analyst 1
Triangle. Beautiful.
Analyst 2
All right, so your. Your feet went like. I could feel, right? Like, you try to get up, get up. Get me off you.
Analyst 1
He goes from half guard. Let's see. Hips. No, other hips. Don't just really try, try.
Analyst 2
I want you to try. I want you try.
Analyst 1
That's your arms. I'm locking your arms.
Analyst 2
That's why you can bench. That's all you can pick. Come on now.
Analyst 1
What was that sound?
Analyst 2
There it is.
Analyst 1
Yeah. Hips, hips, hips, hips, hips. Yes.
Analyst 2
Right, and then now I'm gonna keep on just hanging on, hanging on, hanging on.
Analyst 1
Effort.
Analyst 2
You actually tried.
Analyst 1
I'm cloud parted. Like, when he gets him to this position where he's able to find somehow just muscle him off him. JJ needs to immediately get on his left hip because he's still on it. He's still flat on his back and has nothing to push off of there, man.
Analyst 2
You're trying.
Analyst 1
Yes. He just doesn't know yet. So he's still trying to fight directly off his back.
Analyst 2
And then now I'm gonna keep on just hanging on, hanging on, hanging on. Push that there. And I'm shooting My hand.
Analyst 1
Notice how DJ leads with his chest, too, with all this. When he gets the grips back, he leads with his chest because he's framing on, or he's trying to frame on DJ's shoulder. He leads with his chest and drives his feet into the ground, chucks him off. Boom. We're right back.
Analyst 2
You actually tried him.
Analyst 1
I'm proud, mind you. Jj, do this one handed. Okay, buddy, let's not.
Host
Okay, let's try some striking.
Analyst 2
Let's do it.
Canelo Alvarez
Let's do it.
Host
All right. So I've never experienced. Experienced a kick in my life.
Analyst 1
Okay, well, maybe I have probably submitted.
Host
I've never had a professional kick me.
Analyst 2
Yeah.
Host
Yeah. So I'm thinking I'm gonna.
Analyst 2
I'm not gonna kick you hard.
Host
Okay, give me a percentage of.
Analyst 2
I'm gonna give you dj, probably. I'm gonna show you what it feels like. Okay, I'm gonna show you, and then I'm gonna show you what I'm supposed to do.
Host
Okay.
Analyst 2
Makes sense. So when I go, that's all it is. Okay, but imagine you didn't have all that. That weight there. I'm assuming the pads there.
Host
Yeah, but I could still feel. You can do it a little harder. Damn.
Analyst 2
Yeah.
Host
Give me a percentage of what that was.
Analyst 2
That was like maybe two. Three.
Host
Three.
Analyst 2
Okay, so I'm not kicking you. I'm just. I'm just going. I'm just going to most like this. I'm just going through the motion.
KSI
That's what I'm doing.
Analyst 2
I'm not. I'm not turning my hips. This really.
Analyst 1
Not turning his hips over at all. Just literally swinging the leg. That's so nuts, man.
Analyst 2
Yeah, this is like. This is like, warm.
Analyst 1
I like, this is why guys end up breaking their legs and wrapping it around somebody because they kick so hard. Dude.
Host
Give me 5%.
Analyst 2
Okay, so this is. That's three. So here's five.
Host
Okay, that was five. What the is a hundred?
Analyst 2
100'S I'm going.
Host
I die.
Analyst 2
God. I want to say. I'll say that's probably 10%. Maybe, maybe 15%. It's hard to gauge because when I'm here, I'm just. I'm just moving. I'm not even trying. I'm not even trying to hit hard. I'm just. All right, let me. Here, here's a good kick.
Analyst 1
Like 5%. He looked like he. He sped up a tad bit more.
Analyst 2
It's just going to be a good kick. Yeah. So that's a good kick.
Host
Okay. Yeah.
Analyst 2
And that's as far as I'll go, wow.
Host
Holy.
Analyst 2
And then imagine. Imagine we're going, we're fighting.
Analyst 1
I'm.
Canelo Alvarez
Blah, blah, blah.
Host
Well, and you're just doing that over.
Analyst 2
And over, over and over.
Host
Oh, my God.
Analyst 2
And hitting the same spot over and over.
Host
Like, I already feel.
Analyst 1
You know what it is too. It's like, think about in boxing terms, how you set up your punches. Your one and then you're one, two. When you throw the one, two, your jab the second time around is not going to be as forceful as it was the first time around, as it was in a single shot. So you use it to get to the 2, then the 1, 2, 3, the 1 and the 2, set up the 3, and then you add kicks. Dude, you're throwing combinations and maybe the last punch of that combination is meant to hurt, but realistically, you're throwing your three or four punch combo to set up the four kick, dog. And the kick is the big power shot you're waiting to throw. That is horrifying, bro.
Analyst 2
Nice to meet you, man.
Host
In person. Anyway.
Analyst 1
Yeah, I'm a shorty.
Analyst 2
Maddie kick like.
Analyst 1
Before MVP has aura, by the way. I'm 32 years old saying this, but when he walked in the room, it was like, oh, the man's here. You feel me? Before JJ came around, the best. I would say prospect to star athlete that shoot fighters has produced as mvp. You know, without him, that name London, shoot, it's got some. Some good fighters. They, they helped with Derek Chisora's career a little bit, but without him, that. That gym doesn't have the name it would have.
Host
All right, I should get one kick without the pad.
Analyst 2
No.
Host
You don't need it. Nah, just one little. You don't need it.
Analyst 2
I'll do this one for you.
Analyst 1
He really does not need it.
Host
Yes, do a little pop. One little pop. Let me. Let me actually feel it. Oh, my God.
Analyst 2
It's still a long left hat.
Host
What the, bro.
Analyst 1
Yeah.
Host
Holy.
Canelo Alvarez
Hey, man, you can have injury.
Analyst 1
Well.
Host
What the. What. What percentage was that?
Analyst 2
Maybe like one.
Host
Get out of here, man.
Analyst 1
That one didn't even look like DJ Trot.
Host
It's instant deadlift.
Analyst 1
Hit him, like, right in the middle of his shin, too. Like the strongest part of his shin, right at the freaking middle of his thigh. Boom. That video was dope. This was a very fun link up. KSI gets to experience what grappling feels like. I don't think that we'll be seeing him on the mats rolling anytime soon, but dj once again, killing it in the. In the combat sports content space making all the trips linking up with all the creators that we want to see. A sick idea sick video. I wish I would have done it first man. Not that I would be able to do any of the what DJ was saying but like training with DJ would have been cool bro. And I tried to do it last year and we couldn't get it done but nonetheless fire video and the the offer is out there by the way I've said it and I'm sticking by it. I will last at least one minute if DJ wants to grapple $1,000 on the line. I'm lasting more than one minute. Let me know what y' all think down in the comments below. KSI grappling DJ was a nightmare, but not in the way he normally is. What happens next for KSI? Is he going to fight anytime soon? Is DJ going to collab with Tom Aspinall next? Who knows? Guess we'll find out.

UFC's Handling of Jones' Retirement: The conversation touches on UFC's strategies, suggesting that the organization struggled to negotiate with Jones, ultimately leading to his unexpected retirement. “They had to have Jon Jones come to them and offer the belt up. That, to me, is bizarre” ([03:25]).
Impact on the Heavyweight Division: Analysts express mixed feelings, acknowledging Aspinall's deserved rise but lamenting the lack of a climactic showdown with Jones. “It’s a bittersweet, because I think everybody wanted to see Jon Jones fight Tom Aspinall” ([02:15]).

Streaming vs. Pay-Per-View: Al-Shahi discusses the transition from traditional pay-per-view to streaming services like Netflix, aiming to reach broader global audiences. “It’s a losing battle to try to continue to put on pay-per-view events” ([17:52]).
