All right, so we are back on the way Concept presented by the Ring. And today I have been thinking about the biggest fight in boxing this year. That's right, Melo Alvarez, Terence Crawford live on Netflix. Ring Magazine Allegiance Stadium September 13 Las Vegas, Nevada this one is going to be massive for all the right reasons. You have, like I said, Ring Magazine involved, you have Dana White involved, you have Max Kellerman involved, you have obviously Turki Alishake putting the fight on. You have the biggest name in boxing and Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford looking for his third undisputed world championship. But today I've been pontificating. Yes, big word don't linger on it. Move on. I can't help it. That was a big word. Proud of myself. I have been pondering and pontificating as to who actually wins this fight. And I've only come up with every single scenario possible, possible imaginable, and why. I think it all leads to one answer that is Terence Crawford may need to be absolutely perfect to beat Canelo Alvarez. On any given night, you don't know how a fighter is going to show up, so maybe I'm expecting a little too much. But let's discuss why I think Terence Crawford needs to be perfect to beat Canelo Alvarez. The breakdown. Let's go. He is the star of a weight concept. All right, so let's lay out the situation. Terence Crawford, canelo Alvarez at 168 pounds. And we've been over it time and time again. I feel like the buildup has been a washing machine on a repeat cycle. No suds included, just full rinse. We know what this is. Terence Crawford moving up to 168, a weight he's never competed at and two divisions higher than the last weight he competed at, 154. He only did that once before that, 147. This is more of a jump up than Super Mario hitting bricks looking for mushrooms or cat. For Canelo, obviously at 168, he has been a bit of the smaller man at that weight class and in the last couple of years has had trouble finishing opponents and getting guys out of there like he would have at 160 or 154. So you have a bit of a duality there. Both guys coming into this fight in the, let's say, twilight of their careers or maybe twilight of their primes. However you want to look at it, Canelo is going to be, I think, 35. Terrence is 38. So you have a similar situation, different paths and different struggles for both fighters. But when you look at who has to do more in this fight, it's clearly Terence Crawford as far as what he's giving up and sacrificing to win this third undisputed championship and to try to beat Canelo, who has only been beat twice in his career, one of which was Floyd Mayweather being slick and tagging Canelo with counter punches when Canelo missed being the smaller, lighter fighter and up there in age that was still able to take advantage of the youth and experience of Canelo Alvarez, but also just being a defensive maestro and able to counter off of that. Floyd is one of one. And then you have Dimitri Bivol, who was the bigger fighter and the things that Canelo does very well didn't really hurt him too bad. Right. The things that had carried Canelo up in division was his power and the ability to break an opponent down. Maybe not stopping them in the early to mid part of fights, but working on them, wearing on them with that power, even losing rounds throughout the mid to first part of fights. Billy Joe Saunders fight comes to mind where he potentially is losing a couple of those rounds and then finally finds the opening and has devastating power to overwhelm opponents. He couldn't do that at 175 with Demitri Bivol, he had found the weight that he couldn't ascend to and his power could carry him through. Or the style of fight that he had come accustomed to since the Gennady Golovkin fights, being a lot more reserved with not only his punch count but also his movement, had seen a new birth to Canelo really being defensively sound with his upper body and slipping punches, but looking for almost exclusive power punching to open up holes in the defense and then eventually finish fight. Now again, those are the only two guys to ever beat Canelo. So everybody else, regardless of the strategy, regardless of the skill, they got found out at a certain point. And that's why I'm saying Terence Crawford may have to be absolutely perfect here. And I'm not saying he can't do it, but there's only a couple of avenues that I think Terence Crawford can take to win this fight. I don't see him coming up to £168 and knocking Canelo Alvarez out. Let's be honest, that's going to be pretty difficult to do. Again, you're talking about a natural 140 pounder, maybe 147 pounder, now starting to build and get bigger. And as we've seen in pictures recently, here's Terence Crawford. He looks like he's trying to fill in to all of 168 pounds here. I mean, he probably weighs 183, 84 pounds. I mean, that's what he said. I think when I interviewed him, he was in the £180. So he's coming up in weight and it looks like he's trying to put some heavy muscle mass on which. Okay, you know you want to inflict some damage on Canelo. If we remember back their press conference, this is what he said to Canelo. This is not the greatest quality video, but listen to this.
Mark Lombardo
So when I beat you, is you going to be a nobody When I stump a mud hole in your asses, you going to be a nobody.
Jake Hofer
You going to be just like everybody else.
Mark Lombardo
Watch, Watch.
Jake Hofer
Same that everybody else been saying since.
Mark Lombardo
I moved to 147, I ain't fought nobody.
Jake Hofer
Every last one of them stump a mud hole in their ass, and he gonna be next.
Mark Lombardo
Watch.

So, again, you know, you hear the tone of voice that Crawford is talking in, and he's not just a talker. He's not someone looking to sell a fight up there. I look at this as, again, when I look at the style of fight potentially Terence Crawford is going to bring to Canelo, it looks like he wants to stand in front of him and push him back a little bit. Even in the press conferences they had, there was that pushing and shoving where Canelo kind of walked up on him and pushed Terence back. And then the second press conference, Terence Crawford pushed him back. So, yeah, there's a mind games going on there for. But Terrence looks like he wants to be able to push Canelo back to. To inflict some power on Canelo. And I just don't know if that's the move here. Now, again, I'm not a boxer. I'm not the one going inside the ropes. But the way I see this, potentially working out for Terrence is simple but insanely difficult. You have to be good at everything, and I just don't know if that's the right avenue. Like, trying to push Canelo back is one thing. Trying to. To overwhelm him with volume like Dimitri Bivol did is definitely an idea. But again, you have to look at the factors surrounding that. You have to look at Bivol's size, right? His natural aptitude for volume punching. That is his strategy. That's his game. And it's usually done off the front foot. It's not counter punching, then following up with combinations. We've seen Bud as a great counter puncher, but leading the dance. And even in the Madrimov fight, it looked a little difficult for him to get going. If it takes you a while to get going against Canelo, you're just falling right into his game plan, standing in front of him. You want to go flat footed with Canelo Alvarez and just be in the pocket. That's not going to, in my opinion, unless you're. You're shooting inside the big looping shots of Canelo because sometimes he will open up and hit some big looping shots around the guard standing in front of him is not the idea. At least not, not, not to me. But Again, I'm just the commentator guy. I'm just the guy on YouTube. So I maybe. I don't know. But my point is, this is why I say Terence Crawford needs to be perfect, because I don't think he's knocking Canelo out. Right? Do we? Does anyone believe that's the potential. Potential possibility here for a guy, Canelo Alvarez, that has probably the best chin in boxing? And we're going to watch a video in a second where Joe Rogan and Jim Lampley talk about Canelo and what makes him special and his defense and why he's never really been hurt ever. I just don't see that as a strategy. Then you look at what Terrence has given up, right? Weight, size, him trying to make up the weight and size by putting the pounds on. This is Terence having to try to balance, putting weight on versus still being explosive, still being able to have some mobility and to be able to throw volume without getting tired at the newfound weight. This is why I say he has to be perfect. Meaning you have to be able to box Canelo, move, be mobile with Canelo, throw volume with Canelo, be first with Canelo, not get driven back by Canelo's presence and just him walking through punches and trying to slip and use his head movement. And I know I'm saying a lot of this stuff like it's a foregone conclusion. Canelo's gonna walk forward, Canelo's gonna be in front of you. Canelo is gonna try to walk you down. Like, yeah, that's. That's for sure what I think Canelo is going to do. But to beat him, you can't let any of it happen. Then you have to let volume go. You can't make this a Canelo Alvarez circa the last three years type of fight where, sure, you're a mover like William Skull, but you're not throwing any punches, you're on your back foot, and Canelo is not giving you any respect, and he's just walking you down. That can't happen. Also, you can't really stand in front of Canelo like Jaime Munguia did and try to trade with him, or else you're going to get caught and he'll maybe put you down, maybe not finish you, but he'll hurt you and put you down. Or if he can't catch Terence Crawford clean, because Crawford does a great job in his pocket presence and his defense inside of the phone booth, Canelo is going to try to punch him in the arms. He's going to try to punch him in the shoulders. And while Bivol waved the finger at him, gave him the Mutombo finger wagon, said, no, that didn't work with me. Yeah, that's because Bivol's a natural 200 pound, 210 pound human fighting at 175. That's why that didn't work. Terence Crawford is not that. So all these things adding up on my mind, they just tell me Terence has to be perfect. He has to be able to do everything versus Canelo. And he. If anybody has the skill to do it, it's Terence Crawford. And let's not act like Canelo is beyond getting beat here. Right. There is a path to victory for Terence and to me, it's through decision win. This is why I say he's going to have to be a bit mobile. He's going to have to take it to Canelo at times, like you've seen him talk about in these pressers and, you know, stomping a mud hole and walking forward on Canelo. He's going to have to do that at times. Right. Right. You can't just get run over for 12 rounds and expect to win, or you can't be on the back foot for 12 rounds and expect to be. But Terrence has an avenue where he can out, throw out land canal, keep himself safe, throw in pockets, circle back to range, back to the pocket jab on the way in, back to range back to the pocket jab on the way in and rinse and repeat. But I want to take more of a deeper dive for people that know a lot more than I do. So let's take a listen at Jim Lampley talking on the Joe Rogan Experience. We've actually never done a Joe Rogan Experience breakdown on the channel, so I don't know how this is going to go with YouTube, but let's take a look and see what he had to say and what Joe had to say.
Dr. Lea Tritate
About the fight about Canelo versus Crawford.
Jake Hofer
Yes.
Dr. Lea Tritate
Do you think Terence Crawford can beat Canelo Alvarez?
Jake Hofer
Yeah, I think he won. Okay. I don't know if he's going to win, but I think he can win.
Dr. Lea Tritate
So I asked.
Jake Hofer
He's going to have to. That is the answer that I feel like everybody is having right now. Terrence can win. I just don't know if he's going to because of the uphill battle he's fighting up in way. And the things you need to do up in way are going to be tough stylistically with what Canelo brings, the way you Fight versus the way Canelo fights there, it kind of does tailor to Canelo. If you want to be a counter puncher and just look for openings in exchange. The questions around the weight, all that. I feel like Joe is kind of saying what a lot of people are saying is that he can, but will he's going to have to box a brilliant fight.
Dr. Lea Tritate
Okay, what kind of a fight? I'm going to get to that. I asked the Great Larry Merchant, 90, 94 years old, living on Ocean Boulevard in Santa Monica, looking out at the ocean, reflecting on all the amazing things he did. And I asked Larry, dude, can anybody.
Jake Hofer
Set the scene better than Jim Lampley? What a legend, dude. And I'll say this sidebar in this video. Just getting to do a little two minute segment that I got to do with Jim on the Dazn broadcast in New York from Louis Armstrong Stadium was so sick. He was such a professional. I remember we did the test and like right before we're gonna go live and he said something like, I was, you know, doing my fill to intro and before we ever went on the pay per view. And he said, I said to him, or I said describing him, I go, I'm here with the goat, the best broadcaster in all of combat sports or whatever. I said. When we were done, he came back and he said, I love what you said. That was awesome. Just make sure you call me a blow by blow guy. And I loved that because, like, it was one, instructional for me and two, it's exactly what he should be called. He's not just a commentator. He's not just a broadcaster. He is the goat to me. Blow by blow commentator, broadcaster in combat sports over or in boxing over the last however long. Right. That just, that was really cool of him to do. So anyway, Jim sets the scene like.
Dr. Lea Tritate
No other, looking out at the ocean, reflecting on all the amazing things he did. And I asked Larry, I said, do you think Terence Crawford has a beat, has a chance to beat Canelo Alvarez? And Larry said, jim, did Ray Leonard get an official decision victory over Marvelous Marvin Hagler? And I said, yes, he did. He said, well, if Ray Leonard could beat Marvelous Marvin Hagler, then Terence Crawford can beat Canelo Alvarez. And I said, why do you say that? He said, same equation, get in, get out, get in, get out, over and over and over. He's got to figure the angles and the approaches that, yeah, you know, I.
Jake Hofer
Don'T hate what Jim is saying here. And this is his talking through the storytelling of Larry Merchant, who said this, but it's a little bit of a different fight, right? Like when you saw Sugar Ray Leonard and marvelous Marvin Hagler that fight, Sugar had to answer different questions. Yes, get in, get out. But you're talking about Marvin Hagler, who was still at that point, still a great switch hitter, could definitely bite down on the mouthpiece and swing, but he had volume for days. His output was crazy. He had great feet. He himself was able to cut angles and use his feet to switch and be in front of you the entire time. Ray had to, like, you know, Jim is saying there, Ray had to get in, get out. But that wasn't because of just the power that Marvin was bringing. It was the volume it was bringing, it was the aggression he was bringing. It was him being able to cut off the ring and switch stances to do it. Canelo can cut the ring, Canelo can hit you with power, but he has nowhere near over the last three years the volume that Marvin Hagler had. So in that sense, you can look at Terence Crawford and be like, okay, well that does leave the opening, right? Get in, get out, where Terence needs to be a heavy volume puncher here or at least someone that's going to make his combinations count and then not be there for the return, not be there for the receipt, as they say. He can definitely do that, or at least ideally he can do that. And that's where I'm talking about being perfect. That's what I'm talking about. He can have moments because Canelo isn't Marvin Hagler in the sense of what Jim is saying here, right? Being able to get in, get out. And he is right. Also with, you know, Sugar Ray being the lighter guy, being the mover and I, I just don't know if the comparison makes sense because that's not what Terrence's game necessarily is either. He's going to have to change and be a little bit more Sugar Ray esque in this fight and that is a path to success. Now, again, can he be that? And also how does that affect him fighting at this weight, a weight he's never been at by a lot bigger difference than Sugar Ray had when he fought Marvin Hagler. So it's a little bit of a different situation. But I like the idea of again, being mobile. Stick and moves. You got to be able to keep Canelo at bay when you are doing your work. That's the difference to me is like, I just don't see an ability for Terence Crawford to be a back foot fighter for 12 rounds and win this fight. He's going to have to, at some point push Canelo back just a bit and get him on the defensive and then let those combinations will allow him.
Dr. Lea Tritate
To step in, land to the body or occasionally upstairs and then get out.
Jake Hofer
Yeah.
Dr. Lea Tritate
Before he's facing any damage.
Jake Hofer
Right.
Dr. Lea Tritate
That's what Ray did so effectively against Hagler and it frustrated Hagler. And the more you frustrate the opponent, the better off you are.
Jake Hofer
Yeah. Canelo has such unique skills, and one of the weird things that he does that very few people since Rocky Marciano does is he punches your arms.
Dr. Lea Tritate
Yes.
Jake Hofer
He brutalizes your arms.
Dr. Lea Tritate
Another brilliant guy. He has the greatest punch resistance in the sport.
Jake Hofer
You know, we now again, yeah. I mean, by the way, Joe knows a lot more boxing than people give him credit for, especially old school boxing, because Joe was a fan. Even though, you know, he had that big tirade on ESPN about who was he talking to? Lou Dabella, where he was like, boxing is getting swallowed. Your sport is one dimensional. And he was. He was cooking a little bit back then. But, yeah, I mean, Canelo's ability to target different parts of the body to try to get to his end goal has been something he's relied on in the last couple of years. Right. Again, you go to the Canelo vs. Callum Smith fight, and that's kind of the way he broke Callum Smith down. I think he bruised up or maybe broke something or tore something bicep. I don't know, it looked like he had beat him with a freaking bat or a broomstick or something else. But that's. That was something he used to break down a bigger fighter in Callum Smith. When Canelo is moving up in weight now, he can do this same thing to Terence Crawford. Again, power is there, the explosiveness still there from Canelo. But the difference will be can Terence Crawford counter that by either being out of range, not being hit there, frustrating Canelo like Jim said, or in those moments where Canelo gets super wide with his hooks and everything is outside of that frame. That's where Terrence, you know, short punches inside to the body upstairs, whatever, those counter punches, and then break the action circle that. That again, there's going to be moments throughout the fight. It's just about stringing those moments together on the front foot, on the back foot, making Canelo pay even when he's in dominant positions. And this is why I say he almost has to be perfect, but he can. There are going to be openings to.
Dr. Lea Tritate
We talked about it earlier, one knockout in the whole career knockdown, and it wasn't Knocked down. And it wasn't really a knockdown in. In my personal view. So didn't touch the canvas. He's never been on the canvas. And. And we call it chin. And I think that we kind of missed the point by calling it chin because I used to be Canelo's neighbor in Del Mar, California. Used to run into Chepo, his senior trainer at the grocery store. I'd look into the cart and say, oh, he's. He's eating tuna. And he said, yes. And. And he's eating chicken.
Jake Hofer
What else? Eating.
Dr. Lea Tritate
And. And so I also used to go, I'm kidding.
Jake Hofer
Okay, relax everyone down the hill from.
Dr. Lea Tritate
My house off of Via Della Valle in Del Mar and watch him train at the equestrian center, where he would go to the equestrian center in the morning and do two and a half hours of hunter jumper riding before going to his gym in the afternoon to do three and a half hours of boxing training.
Jake Hofer
Hunter jumper riding, what is that?
Dr. Lea Tritate
Hunter jumper is where you. You go over jumps and you.
Jake Hofer
With a horse?
Dr. Lea Tritate
Yeah. On the horse.
Mark Lombardo
Yeah.
Jake Hofer
Why the fuck would you do that when you're training for a fight?
Dr. Lea Tritate
What if the horse. He was riding horses since he was a little kid. He was skilled enough to do it. You control the height of the jumps. You say, set the jumps at 36 inches or 40 inches. You know what the horse can do. It's all about staying on the horse. And. And I asked him, you know, how can you do that? And he said, everything I do in boxing is upper body, and everything I do on the horse is lower body. And on. On that basis, I am the one who theorizes that the reason you can't knock him down is not because of his chin. It's because of his legs, his base. You can't get him off balance. He's too strong from the waist down. And, you know, if other fighters would pay attention to what Canelo.
Jake Hofer
That's actually a genius level take from Jim Lampley there. Holy shit. So basis is because Canelo has strengthened his leg. I mean, it's basic strength training progression. Right? Like, a lot of boxers don't actually strength train. I mean, you didn't see a lot of heavy lifting from boxers really ever outside of maybe the heavyweight division and really outside of guys like Vander Holyfield, you know what I'm saying? Like, there weren't a lot of guys that were on the muscle and fitness magazines that were also box. Mike Tyson was shredded and was just a naturally built freak athlete. But I don't remember him even Being like a super heavy lifter in the gym or anything like that. But what he. What Jim is essentially saying here is that Canelo strength trains. It's a weird way of doing it, right? Riding equestrian and using his legs to, like, squeeze the horse and keep himself on the horse while he's doing the jumps and stuff. But essentially he's just string training. And I guess maybe the motion of jumping over the. Whatever they're called, the little barriers, is keeping Canelo on balance as well. Right. Not getting too forward, not getting too back, not, you know, on one side or the other. So it's unique. I mean, I've never actually heard of anybody doing something like that to. To be a strength athlete or, you know, to be a boxer, but maybe it's just one of those full body workouts that you just don't expect someone to do, but you. To be honest, we've never really had an answer for why Canelo's chin is so good. And like Jim said, we call it his chin, but maybe it is more of his base. Maybe it is more of just him being able to have great eyes, see punches, take punches. But also you can't get him off balance. So even if he were to be in a bad position, he's taking the punch, still on balance. So you. You're not going to clip him with anything heavy. So that's another good point as well. Can you get Canelo off balance? If you're Terence Crawford, can you stun him with a shot? I just, when I look at this fight, I just don't see Terrence being able to hurt him badly with one punch and get him off balance. I didn't realize why until maybe Jim just broke the fourth wall for me there. But, yeah, I mean, my opinion is Terence Crawford's path to victory is based on him being able to do everything. I don't know if he will do it, but I know that he can. I know that he can box on the front foot. I know that he can counter punch. I know that he can move. I know that he can switch stance. I know that he can provide different looks. I know that he can fight on the front foot. Maybe not as successfully as I would like for him to, or as much volume as I'd like for him to, but I think that those things are going to be crucial. They absolutely are. But it is interesting to see who's picking who in this fight. I still don't have my pick locked in for the longest. When it was announced I was full Canelo, I was like, listen, Canelo's gonna win this. People are crazy, especially after watching the Madrimoff fight. But then you watch Canelo's recent performances and you see there's, there's opportunity, there's holes there. And if we look at both guys in the way they're training, you see, like I said, Terence Crawford getting really strong, getting built up potentially to try to go, you know, I don't want to say power for power, but to be able to impose his will on Canelo and to take some of the punching from Canelo. Whether it's the bodywork that Canelo loves with the lead hand, the chopping right hook, or just to be able to keep himself strong in clinch situations inside, push, pull action, little montage, but you can still see bits and pieces here. Obviously neither guy is to give too, too much up of their training, but you see him primarily working southpaw in most of his sessions so far. And southpaws have given Canelo some problems in, in his past. Right. So I think again, the way I started this video, I'm unconvinced that my theory is wrong because I just. There's path to victory for Terence Crawford. Absolutely. To me, he almost has to be perfect to win this fight because, yeah, Canelo can win a decision. He's been doing that for the last three years. Even though it's going to be a bit more difficult because Crawford, out of the two of them, everybody's saying is the better boxer. He's going to have to be, and he may be, but he's going to have to be to beat Canelo on September 13th live in Las Vegas. That's my catch up breakdown because I haven't. We haven't talked about this fight since the press conferences. I wanted to refresh everybody's minds and put it back in your frontal cortex that this thing's coming back around yonder. September 13th, live in Las Vegas, Allegiant Stadium. Canelo Crawford on a stacked card. Apparently a weekend of fights. There's still so much information coming out about this thing. I don't know if I'll be there yet. I hope so. Las Vegas. I'd love to see you, but I'll leave this video off with the question that I've asked to begin with and the question we're gonna keep asking till September 13, who wins and why? Let me know in the comments down below because I don't have those answers, but guess we'll find out. All right, so we are back on the way. Concept presented by the Ring magazine. Quick question for you guys. Can I go? Can I go? Full conspiracy theory. I have a hold of a rumor that's a little juicy, all right? One that I didn't even get from the esteemed Ring magazine. One that I didn't call any sources. I didn't call Mike Coppinger. I didn't call anybody in the know how or in the know of. I was simply going about my day here in beautiful Orange County, California. And I heard through the grapevine, through a couple of people, that if I named them on camera, you wouldn't even know. But that, oddly, makes me think this is even more credible, that not only are the rumors of Manny Pacquiao fighting again true, but that it's gonna happen even sooner than you think. And I heard potential opponent names. What do I mean? The breakdown. Let's go. So, like I said, I was going about my day here in Orange County. I was going to the gym. You know, I'm saying, hitting the bag. Hey, hey, staying in shape in case your boy has another fight soon? Potentially, we don't know. I'm just saying stay ready. So you ain't got to get ready doing that. I was talking to some people because I'm an outgoing person. I was shopping, I was getting some food. I was getting ready. By the way, as you guys see this video, to go to SummerSlam, I want a plane probably again, as this is out right now and go do some things in New Jersey at MetLife Stadium for SummerSlam Day 1 and 2. But I was just going about my normal daily life. Again, if I told you the two individuals that I'm about to bring up and their names and everything they do, it wouldn't really make a difference, but let's just say they have a close connection to the Pacquiao family, or at least one close enough to have the information that they had on hand. And they said they had spoken to people, maybe even the man himself directly, and that he or they said rumor, allegedly, that Manny Pacquiao is going to be back in October. And there's two or three opponents potentially that are right there for Manny Pacquiao, two of which you guys have probably already heard about. Now, I don't know if these are set in stone, if this is talks, if this was something that's just been thrown out there by people that I got swindled by. But this sounded credible to me. And I'm again, not bringing you this as any official source, not bringing you this as any official news. Just a complete rumor. And you've probably heard from actual credible people in boxing, which again, kind of tied my story together here. They said it could be either Rolly Romero. That's right, the WBA welterweight champion of the world now, because Jaron Boots Ennis just moved to 154, vacated his belt. Guess who was the regular welterweight champion of the world when he did that? That is Rolando Romero. He is now the official 147 pound WBA champ. And Manny Pacquiao just fought for the WBC welterweight belt against Mario Barrios. He's probably only going to take big fights. Rolly is there as a champion and one that Manny probably thinks he can beat because of his performance against Mario Barrios. Hold on to that thought. Second opponent choice, one that I was like, oh, maybe we don't do that, was Gervonta Tank Davis. And this video is also to talk about the Tank Davis situation. One, he's dealing with a domestic violence allegation. That's what we know right now. And it's not the first one that he's had. And we've heard Tank Davis talk about how he's not in love with boxing anymore, that he doesn't want to box anymore, that he's done with the sport, he wants to retire or he's thinking about retiring. So who knows what's going on there? But again, you think about it. Tank Davis was supposed to have, if he beats Lamont Roach just a couple of months ago, was supposed to fight Jake Paul this summer. That was apparently almost a done deal. All Tank had to do was beat Lamont Roach. And here we go, Jake and Tank Davis, a circus fight. Of all circus fights, you think Jake versus Anthony Joshua is a crazy fight. And that looks more likely than not that it's actually going to happen. If you thought that was a circus fight, Jake and Tank Davis was going to be even more of a circus fight. That one's not happening because Tank didn't beat Lamont Roach. Now Tank and Lamont Roach supposed to fight sometime in the middle of August. We don't even know if that's going down because Tank just got arrested, then he got released from jail, but now he's got a court hearing and we don't know when that's going to happen because they just push that back. It's all fucking chaos. August is not looking likely. October, on the other hand, if you haven't had a set rematch with Lamont Roach, if you're looking to have one more big fight and exit the sport, if you want to make A shit ton of money before your exit. And if you want an easier fight than your last one on the way out, potentially Manny Pacquiao might be that guy. Although I will say watching Manny Pacquiao not only keep up with but in my opinion beat Mario Barrios, it does throw a little bit of cold water on this Gervonta Tank Davis win. That's maybe before the Frank Martin fight and the Ryan Garcia fight. His biggest win or one of his biggest wins, the Mario barrios fight at 140. Hank was down in that fight and came back with the touch of Floyd Mayweather's hand on his glove. Tank, I need you gave him some sort of superpowers and he knocked out Mario Barrios late in that fight. That win doesn't look as great now, especially when 46 year old Manny Pacquiao comes out and is bloody enough. Mario Barrios and giving him a black eye. I'm not saying that Manny Pacquiao Pacquiao will beat Gervonte Davis. In fact, I think you should keep Manny Pacquiao away from Javante Davis because of his explosiveness, because of the power in his hands, because he's still youthful even if he isn't fully committed to the sport. I still think it's a bad matchup for Pacquiao. But Lamont Roach was faster with his hands. He was putting the power on Tank Davis, a guy that's a natural 130 pounder coming up to 35 and kind of giving Tank all he wanted and some. So if you're talking about Tank coming up to 47 to fight Manny Pacquiao, because of course that's where it have to be. And again, think about that. Manny Pacquiao is actually bigger than Tank Davis. Who knows? My point being that these fights are intriguing and again just from a random occurrence going throughout my daily life, speaking to people that seem to have knowledge on the situation, close to the people close to Manny Pacquiao, close to his team. I'm starting to wonder if this is reality and if I'm looking at the situation as it sits. Manny's in a good spot. Everybody now wants to fight Manny because not only did he come back and he was a credible name when Barrios fought him, but he fought a decent enough fight versus Barrios to look like another credible matchup is there and potentially way more money is out there for him. And now with this breaking news, Rolly Romero now being raised to the actual WBA 147 champion. That's that. That seems like the most Likely option. Again, rumor speculation. I'm just putting it out there. And if that's the matchup, I mean, Roelly hits like a Mack truck. And everybody that spars him and everybody that talks about him says the same thing. Is he a high level skill technique boxer? No. Can he be hit and hurt? Yes. Broso was 40 when he knocked down Rollie, and a lot of people thought he potentially would have won that fight if not for a weird kind of flukish stoppage there for Rollie. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Manny Pacquiao could have a lot of success with Rowley. Manny is fast, even still got calf muscles like most people's quads. Yeah, he took some punches and when he did get hit, it was like, oh, gosh, he's not taking those punches well. So if really connected with one of those dynamite right hands or left hooks, we could see Pacquiao on the floor. He shouldn't even be competitive. He's 46 years old. It's an indictment, honestly, on the sport of boxing when Manny Pacquiao is contending for world championships and arguably winning at 46 and also at 147 pounds when he started at like 108. But if he gets Rollie, and honestly, you know, hey, good for Rollie if he gets a payday like that, good for him if he gets a fight versus Manny Pacquiao. As much as I don't think Manny Pacquiao should be fighting for world titles and he's cutting the line for a lot of guys at welterweight or guys moving into welterweight, but at the same time, fuck, he looked good against Barrio. So two opponents that I've heard not only from these people, from some of the other people in the know and journalists that are talking about potential Manny Pacquiao next fights. No one is calling for the Barrios rematch. We don't want to see that. If it's between Gervonta Davis and Rolly Romero. Gervontae looks like everything is up in the air. I don't know that Gervonta is going to retire because the money's probably way too good for him to just walk away. But secondly, I also don't know how committed he is to boxing and the obvious legal situation going on is not going to help him. So who knows what you can rely on there. The obvious choice looks like Rolly Romero. And again, they have both fought pretty close to each other. May for Rolly, now July for Manny. I don't think Manny's going to take too much time out, Roll. He's already had a little bit of rest. They were talking about maybe doing Rolly and Ryan at the end of December. But if this comes up and you're really Romero, you take this, you take a Manny Pacquiao fight. Hell, Ryan Garcia was calling for a Manny Pacquiao fight. And he probably would have got it had he beat Rolly to become, at that point, the WBA regular welterweight champion been elevated to actual world champion. But he lost. So to the victor goes the spoils. And spoiler alert, if I'm actually right on this, you heard it here first. Manny Pacquiao, Rolly Romero in October. That is a prediction, not a spoiler. Paul Heyman, I see you out there. That is just my prediction based on almost nothing but hearsay and things that are being said in the boxing media space. And again, something that was said to me literally walking down the street in Orange County. I can't make this shit up. That's what I heard. I don't know if any of it's true. If it happens to be, you can call me Nostra Waitis, because I predict these things. Anyway, that's all I got today, y'. All. Pure speculation. Manny Pacquiao potentially could return in October. And if he does, I'm calling he fights Rolly romero for the WBA 147 pound championship of the world. And I just believe some random person that has absolutely nothing to do with the world of boxing but saw I was an absolute mark and would believe anything he told me. Yeah, it's possible, but I also could be right. So stay tuned and potentially we'll see. Manny Pacquiao truly is back in October versus Rolly Romero. Don't have those answers, but guess we'll find out. All right, so we are back on the way concept presented by the Ring magazine. And today KSI has put out what he calls potentially the best video he has ever made. That's saying a lot because he used to put out videos with him and Deji whipping each other after letting each other score goals and fee. I wasn't around in YouTube land in 2011 and 12. It was a different world apparently then that was a good video. Now today is a video called can you survive one round with the pro boxer. KSI invited I guess a ton of KSI fans to like the video says, try to survive one round with a pro boxer and I guess they earn money each time they survive around. KSI brought some of the misfits guys and then apparently some higher Level guys as well. This should be an interesting video because I want to see how many of these fans or fans from what I've heard online, potentially have any skill in boxing. And on the other side, who are the pros that KSI brought in? And also, do you go easy on the guys? Do you try to kill them? Let's take a look at this video because this potentially could be something he continues to do right this, this could be a brand new idea that KSI continues to move forward with. But let's take a look. KSI fans, can you survive one round with a pro box or the breakdown? Let's go. He is the star of weight concept.
Mark Lombardo
This is the most dangerous challenge we've ever done. We have 10 KSI fans.
Jake Hofer
What is this guy doing? We're like three seconds into the video and this dude is already letting the tongue fly like he hasn't seen his girl in three weeks and he's trying to get freaky. I don't know what's going on there. I was just gonna pause it to see what the fans of KSI look like and if they're ready for a boxing match.
Mark Lombardo
Stepping into the ring one by one against four real fighters getting harder and harder. All right, here's how it's gonna go down. Each fan steps into the ring for up to four brutal rounds, two minutes each. The first round starts at £1,000 and the money doubles for every round they survive. After every round, they get a choice. Take the money and walk or continue to win more money and risk it all.
Jake Hofer
If you got to a point, I saw Vidal and Ty Mitchell in that promo. If you got to a point where you're having to survive around with Ty Mitchell and Vidal Riley, or Vidal Riley, I should say, and you have no boxing experience. You take whatever money you've made at that point. If you haven't made any money, you don't do it at that point because they're monsters.
Mark Lombardo
British champion being the final round, if they survive all four rounds, they will walk away with £15,000 and a Misfits contract. And don't worry, we've got medics on site and everything's under supervision.
Jake Hofer
He had the medic standing in front of a green screen because they're definitely not. There's no freaking Apache helicopter and ambulance outside like this is technician, by the way.
Mark Lombardo
Anyway, now let's meet the fighters standing in their way.
Jake Hofer
Okay.
Mark Lombardo
What the.
Jake Hofer
Who let this goofball fat ass Modine in here? Dude, let him in the pro boxer section of this. Like I mean, listen, Danny Aarons, why is he in there too? And what sets he repping, Throwing up gang signs. But we got Fox. Good pick. Kenny, good pick. Obviously Ty Mitchell. Ty Mitchell don't give a about all those guys. And Vidal Riley, all good picks. But then you got wannabe cosplay roadman in there, dude. Mo Dean. More like Mo done with ever seeing his bum ass in a boxing ring again. Oh, Michael Venom page is here. Alex follows one.
Mark Lombardo
Let's get this.
Jake Hofer
Okay, Danny.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, Alex. He's coming. Alex with the right energy here. Oh, oh, okay. I don't know if Alex is gassed now. He's just buying his time. All right, let's. Let's get some action, guys. Action, action.
Jake Hofer
What's Danny afraid of? I mean, here's the thing too. This is what I wanted to see. Like, Danny's clearly not in there trying to get him out of there, but, like, it would be a weird video if every single person that went in there their first time, like KSI is clearly power scaling. That was the whole point of, like giving him all these different fighters. So Danny. Danny's first, and then obviously the better guys are after him. But would Danny not just want to go in there and knock the guy out immediately? If that's what the whole thing is about, you know what I'm saying? But then again, like, you don't have much of a video if everybody does that. So fair.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, oh, but Danny Aarons return. Oh, Alex with a few shots of his own.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, I was going to say you also. I also forgot that Danny Aarons is not good. Like, he's very green, still hasn't boxed but one time. And then that one he got tuned to fight up versus. What was the guy's name? Danny Simpson. So, yeah, this is a pretty much even playing field. Skill for skill. Between the guy that has one fight and like a couple of months of training versus a guy that probably hasn't had a fight and no training, we're pretty much on even playing field here.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, nice one too.
Jake Hofer
Say, kind of. He kind of. He kind of beat Danny up there a little bit.
Mark Lombardo
Good. Take it all in, bro. Soak it all in. What do you think you got can survive round two? Nah, I'm taking five. Oh, you're just up in there.
Jake Hofer
Oh, smart man. This is what I like. Yeah. Hey, listen. May not be good for the video, but this. This young man right here is a smart dude. Took a thousand pounds and I'm out of here. Appreciate the easy money. Literally kind of beat Up Danny and then took his money. Legend. I love it because, yeah, the next guy they were going to give him, I don't know who it was going to be. Probably Kenny probably would have him up. So. Yeah. Cool. Easy. Come up. James Wilkinson versus Mode. Hit this guy out of here.
Mark Lombardo
Big man, I'm talking to you, bro.
Jake Hofer
No, seriously.
Mark Lombardo
Yeah, explain to me. Explain to me. Come on, explain.
Jake Hofer
What's going on?
Mark Lombardo
What's this guy doing? Looks like Mo is refusing to wear his head guard. MVP is not allowing him to continue until he puts on the head guard. He's just left. What is going on? Well, it seems that Modin.
Jake Hofer
I don't even. I'm like, I'm glad that Modine left, but what a little baby. What is wrong with this guy, Dude? Everything he does is just wrong. I think there's something there too, where, like, KSI and modeen go way back, and KSI, like, keeps giving him opportunity opportunities to try to, like, get his name out there and, you know, retain a fan base. KSI is being a good dude, even including him in this video. And he's such a gigantic that he doesn't understand it and does this instead. Like, why did you even show up? Balaclava on. Dude didn't want to put his headgear on because again, he's a wannabe roadman. What a goof.
Mark Lombardo
Next round.
Jake Hofer
Dang. This guy got a free thousand pounds. And I'm not talking about Modine's. Okay, never mind. Keep it going.
Mark Lombardo
James Wilkinson.
Jake Hofer
Oh, Jesus. Oh, geez.
Mark Lombardo
Three, two, one.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, bro. I was gonna say, I have a feeling Fox is not gonna give a about none of that. Playing nice, letting you get your shots in, and trying to win these people some money. Fox built different. He don't give a single about these dudes and their money. He's in there trying to put people out. Cold side.
Mark Lombardo
Are you smoking? Oh, nice.
Jake Hofer
Oh, my Lord.
Mark Lombardo
Come on. Oh, my God.
Jake Hofer
He tossed the headgear. Wait, body shot.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, my God. Yo, guys, why is this? Going at it right now?
Jake Hofer
Fair play to this kid, though, man. He's a scrapper. He definitely has fought a little bit before, but he's in there getting it, and he's not just trying to survive. He's throwing punches back. I like this kid. What are you doing, Fox?
Mark Lombardo
Jeez.
Jake Hofer
Easy on the break there, buddy.
Mark Lombardo
I never seen anything like this. Don't push. Don't push properly. Going for it. Great, great, great break. Let's go.
Jake Hofer
Go.
Mark Lombardo
This is unbelievable. From James. Oh, my God.
Jake Hofer
Them hands go oh, my God. Like, that skit is like Grim Reaper dude. He's a skeleton of Death dog. He's Dennis the Menace in boxing gear and knows how to fight like. He throws nasty punches at this kid, and he's not letting up at all. Nasty overhead. Hold that, son. Oh, body job. Fair play to the kid. He never stopped fighting. He's about to come out. He didn't care. Good job, man. I'm cashing out right there. Because you only. You only get worse from that point.
Mark Lombardo
How you feeling?
Jake Hofer
Good.
Mark Lombardo
Good. I might have to call it there, though, because.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, smart man.
Mark Lombardo
Okay. I need to. He's a smart man as well.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, yeah.
Mark Lombardo
That's 3K in your pocket, bro. Congrats. Thank you. Thank you.
Jake Hofer
Smart man. 3K to take home to the fam. Okay, Danny Aarons is back. Emery.
Mark Lombardo
Three, two, one. Let's get this.
Jake Hofer
Danny Ayers is back. Oh, my Lord. Oh, my God.
Mark Lombardo
From Danny, though. Oh, good movement, though. From memory.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, I was gonna say this, Emory. Kit. Oh. Counter right hand, son. Why do they keep putting Danny in there? And Danny just keeps getting teed off on like. No one's afraid of Danny. They just go right at him.
Mark Lombardo
Look at this.
Jake Hofer
Right hand.
Mark Lombardo
Wow.
Jake Hofer
Son, on the way out. Keep your hands up, Kade. Boom. Counter right hand side. I was gonna say he's kind of twitchy, too. Swinging from the hit. My man don't care. Jab. Go for it, Emory. Bring that backhand behind it. You can touch him with the jab. You can get there. Look at him.
Mark Lombardo
Oh.
Jake Hofer
Oh, geez. Right hand. Oh, what the hell? Oh, Danny, no. What happened? He didn't get hit. Medic.
Mark Lombardo
Medic. Medic. Medic.
Jake Hofer
Oh, my God. Did he, like, like. Yeah. Is it your hamstring? Did he, like, tear an ACL or something? Okay, I don't want to laugh because this looks like it's definitely like he did. That was a. What we call a non contact injury, at least from what I. I think I saw. It didn't. Like, he got punched and fell like he was on the attack. Right hand goes. I mean, he got touched with the right hand kind of, but not really. He just falls over and he falls kind of weird on his leg and. Oh, yeah. I don't know what's going on here, but this looks like it's a non contact injury, which probably means he tore something.
Mark Lombardo
Wait, what's happened?
Jake Hofer
Oh. Reporting live on the canvas. Oh, my God, you've hurt yourself here, Danny. Hello, everybody.
Mark Lombardo
I have no idea.
Jake Hofer
Wait, what is this? This oxygen? What happened to me, but I can't move my leg. It seems like an ac.
Mark Lombardo
Oh.
Jake Hofer
His kneecap is on the side of his knee. He, like, broke his kneecap. He, like, dislocated his whole kneecap, son. I've never seen that. Oh, my God. How does that happen? He was just standing there and letting combinations go. And I don't know if he, like, twisted wrong or his foot got caught in the mat. That must have been what happened. He, like, tried to throw a nasty right hand, and his back foot must have got caught and twisted up in the boxing mat because, dude, look at that. How is Fred not seeing what's going on? Fred's like, did you tear it acl? Dude, his kneecap is sticking out of the side of his knees. Twisted your knee.
Mark Lombardo
It don't look good. I'm looking at the knee.
Jake Hofer
Oh, thanks, mate.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, okay.
Jake Hofer
That's insane. Fred didn't see it. That's why I said that. Holy cow. That is, like, the most catastrophic thing that could happen. Like, you would expect somebody to potentially get knocked out in something like this. And thank God they actually did have the medics on scene. Danny must be in some sort of shot, right? Or that whatever that gas is they're giving him is keeping him calm. Because for the cap of his knee to be on the side of his leg, he is way too calm. Kind of 50. 50. You're landing some good shots in there. Why is Fred still interviewing him? He's pulling a Joe Rogan. Get this gu the hospital. Think if it continued, you would have managed to get the school of knockouts. Who the cares, man?
Mark Lombardo
I just got hospital.
Jake Hofer
This is what I'm saying. It's like when Conor McGregor's foot was hanging off his leg, and Joe's like, yeah, Conor, how'd it go in there?
Mark Lombardo
Major respect to him, and we hope he has a speedy recovery. Emily, Kurt versus Fox. The G. 3, 2, 1. Let's get.
Jake Hofer
Oh, yeah. Fox about to kill this kid immediately with the hook. And the kid's got a bit of confidence to him. Here's the thing. If you're trying to survive, it's a little difficult for even Fox, you know, who's still relatively new to buy. He's super talented. I think Fox is ridiculously talented, naturally skilled, but he's still somewhat new and a bit of an inexperienced for a pro boxer. Right. And I'm not even talking about, like, the influencer scene, but. But it's still relatively difficult if you're just in there trying to survive to maybe get you out of there in two minutes. But this kid has got some moxie to him. He's got some confidence. So it might be easier now for Fox.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, why are you putting him in it?
Jake Hofer
See, this I'm talking about. Look, he's letting his hands go.
Mark Lombardo
Okay, I'm great.
Jake Hofer
Got some confidence. Fox is just taking a lot of that on his guard. And then. Yeah, wait for the counter punches.
Mark Lombardo
I think every bit too much.
Jake Hofer
You come out that aggressive, you gotta remember you're there to survive. I love it. I love the moxie. I love the, you know, the. The gumption to go after Fox. But it leaves you open to get hit with some big shots off. Man, he got some balls, though.
Mark Lombardo
Ready? All right, I went back. Let's go.
Jake Hofer
Overhand, so they get three knockdowns to round myself.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, my God.
Jake Hofer
Oh, my God. Nasty left hook. Oh, let me see here. Out of the clinch, Fox just more understanding. Right hand of the body, right hand upstairs. Follow up, left hook. Boom. On the nose, son. Oh, gotta hurt. Kind of hurt.
Mark Lombardo
One, two, three. It's over. It's over. Jesus.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, had to. Fox is gonna keep DNR on him. Threw me off against Danny. That recovered well, but props to Fox, man. He's a good boxer.
Mark Lombardo
All right, so we have no Modine or Danny Aarons. So here are the replacement fighters for them versus SK3.
Jake Hofer
I don't know who these guys are, but did they put other like. Like non boxers in for Danny and Modine? It's not like they're losing anything skill wise by doing that, to be honest. But I assume that just means that they already were there to be a part of the blue side and they just made them go against each other. I'm not sure. Let's get this thing. He's got some skill. At least he's got a stance to look like he's got some skill. Let's see him throwing action. Yeah. This kid is never boxed. The kid in the blue has.
Mark Lombardo
Damn.
Jake Hofer
Ready?
Mark Lombardo
Go.
Jake Hofer
With it, though. Okay. Punched him in the ass. Hell, yeah. Hook to the body. The slow MO doesn't do it justice. Oh, my goodness.
Mark Lombardo
All right, well, I mean, I imagine you want to continue.
Jake Hofer
Okay, Kenny, we get to see some. Kenny, let's go. All right, so this guy Kia clearly has some ability, right? He's. He looks like he's at, you know, he's got his hands in the right place. He's got some faints he's bringing to the guys. Didn't really get to see a lot of punches. The other dude shelled up faster than the gas station. So let's see what happens with Kenny here.
Mark Lombardo
3, 2.
Jake Hofer
Haven't seen the box in a while, man. Let's see what Kenny is looking like after a long layoff.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, there we go. This is what I'm liking. Look at that. The stance and everything. Oh, oh, oh. That's the first clinch.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, I was gonna say that's. That's not a. That's a. That's a pretty smart move for. Again, a kid that looks like he has some experience. Him clenching just buys him time. Doesn't let Kenny get his shots off. This kid knows a little bit about what he's doing.
Mark Lombardo
Very smart using the clinch.
Jake Hofer
Oh, yeah. And he got them ridiculously long arms.
Mark Lombardo
Straight to the chest. He's running down the clock right now.
Jake Hofer
I'm surprised Kenny's not countering him here, man. Instead of just kind of trying to roll with that right hand, just step in with one of his own. Again, I. I don't know how hard they're going on these guys. He should probably punch him up like. No, I don't know. The kid does have some skill, but doesn't look like he's hitting very hard at all.
Mark Lombardo
Oh.
Jake Hofer
Yeah. Kenny right there. Just stay in the pocket and throw. This kid's not. He's winging this right hand. Like, look at these. He's jumping to range to try to clench. You tag him with something. Oh, he tried. He tried it up for cut there. And the kid is just. He's trying to survive, but you got to pack him with something. One of these counters standing there and fire. Ah. Okay. All right, I listen again, if I'm the kid, I'm taking the 3K and bouncing, dude, because I haven't even seen Vidal get in yet. But you got Ty Mitchell there. He's a monster. You don't want any part of him. And then if you get past him, you have to get Vidal. Oh, hell no.
Mark Lombardo
Johnny versus Ty Mitchell.
Jake Hofer
If he gets through the round, versus Ty Mitchell here. Kenny said he's very skilled. He has some skill, but he shouldn't get through a round with. I know it's two minutes, but he shouldn't get through a round with Ty Mitchell unless Ty is being very, very generous with him.
Mark Lombardo
Three, two, one.
Jake Hofer
Oh.
Mark Lombardo
Ty is a tricky individual, man. He's hard to fight, hard to.
Jake Hofer
He can do it. He can do it.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, easy, easy.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, Tai is. Tai is. I mean, the kid's doing a decent job of moving, but Tai is going very light. Yeah, even that Left hand. He's just walking backwards. Just pity patting him with it. Ty's not trying to hurt him.
Mark Lombardo
Good response there from Ty. Told him. What is up, man?
Jake Hofer
Single jab to the body. Here's where Tai should let it go. See, but he's not. He's not trying to let it go. Even just a slappy lead hook. Listen, I'm not upset that Ty's not trying to hurt him, all right? Because, like, that's the hardest punch he's thrown. Touching him with the left hand.
Mark Lombardo
Ties or evolving. Oh. Oh, damn.
Jake Hofer
Big left hand.
Mark Lombardo
Kid is still in it. Kid is still in it. Can he do it?
Jake Hofer
Yeah. I mean, fair play. The kid just made £7,000. Damn. Ty was taking it, I would say, very, very easy on that kid. I mean, again, I'm not upset about it. I'm not like, yeah, kill him. Because, like, what are we doing? Obviously, Ty's the better boxer by light years and probably would have put him down with an easy three or four punch combination, but at the same time, the whole challenge is to survive one down with a pro boxer. I don't know. Ty kind of should go harder. No, I don't know. I'm not trying to rain on the kids. Parade 7K in the books. Does he actually try to go and get Vidal, though? Because right now, 7K is looking pristine, and he's not too beat up yet.
Mark Lombardo
The only man ready for the fourth.
Jake Hofer
Okay, he's gonna do it. It's good.
Mark Lombardo
Well, he won't mess with Vidal for sure. Vidal Riley. KIA Is now in the final round. Make some noise.
Jake Hofer
So Kia is smaller than Ty Mitchell, who's like 175er. He's about to fight a full cruiserweight. Vidal Riley.
Mark Lombardo
Yeah.
Jake Hofer
I mean, again, I'll say the same thing that I said, because he would not have lasted. If Ty goes full like, he's fighting a boxer, like an actual fighter, he's not last. And also, Vidal Riley, if he goes full here, this kid will not last. Let's see if Vidal actually puts it on the kid.
Mark Lombardo
Kia, are you ready? Vidal, are you ready? Three, two, one. Let's get it.
Jake Hofer
I'm gonna. It'll be. I was gonna say we'll see really quickly how Vidal is gonna start here. Solid jab. Solid jab. This KIA kid trying to smother him with the. With the clinch. I actually like that again. It's a smart move. Oh, okay. But I was trying a little bit.
Mark Lombardo
Jesus Christ.
Jake Hofer
Yeah, but I was trying a little bit.
Mark Lombardo
I'd be on sprinters I'd be on sprinters right now. Sprinters. All right now, but Kia is doing well, bro. He's surviving. You're surviving, bro.
Jake Hofer
Let's go, Kia. Come on, bro. Oh, one the of to. I want to see it out. Really turn. I'm sorry. I want to see him really turn the right hand over. He's not really, like, putting a hundred percent into that right hand yet.
Mark Lombardo
Surviving, bro.
Jake Hofer
He's throwing it, though, you know?
Mark Lombardo
Come on, bro.
Jake Hofer
Oh, throwing it, but in the headgear. Okay.
Mark Lombardo
Very, very well. Oh, my God.
Jake Hofer
Stand in front of him, though, kid.
Mark Lombardo
Stalking him. Oh, stalking him.
Jake Hofer
Take that right hand, though. Come on, kid. Damn. I'm lowkey rooting for him now. Go ahead, Kia. Level change. Right hand coming. Nice body shot.
Mark Lombardo
Big py. Sh. Done well.
Jake Hofer
Let's get some n. Oh, my God. Okay, that's what we wanted to see. This kid is he should win. After taking that left hook, he should win. It's not like, again, Vidal's not. I don't know. Vidal's not like a one punch, heavy KO puncher like that. But he's still getting hit hard, and I know that. What is it? Probably 16 ounce gloves with the headgear on. But look at this left hook. Boom, son. Let's stretch your neck out one time. We're gonna do a side bend here, aided by a left hand. Oh, damn. Uppercut.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, Jesus. There we go.
Jake Hofer
The body there. Oh. Oh, my God. He's eating those. The kid should win just based off the fact he took two freaking nasty left hooks.
Mark Lombardo
Oh, my God.
Jake Hofer
Oh, jeez. Yeah, he's trying to put him down.
Mark Lombardo
Come on, Kia. You got this. Oh, my Kia. Let's go. Let's go, Kia. How's this man standing? How is Kia still standing? He's taking so many. Damn, that was scary in the ring, man. So bull is so close.
Jake Hofer
Jab. Don't try to punch back. Stop trying to p like, again. I respect the heart, but don't. Don't punch back. Just move, kid.
Mark Lombardo
K needs to get out of the corners, man. K needs to get out the corners.
Jake Hofer
Okay, okay. Just hold on. Wow. Okay. Yeah. Actually survived. You know what? I was going to come into this and go, you know, Vidal wasn't trying. He was putting some shots on him. Fair play to that kid, man. I. I mean, again, do I think that Vidal could have upped the pressure? Could have put shots together, heavier combinations, more combinations? Absolutely. Like, if it out wanted to go 100% there, he would have. He did not go 100% but he still hit him with some nasty left hooks and right hands to the body. Like fair play to this kid. What does he win again? 15 grand? Something like that. He deserves it. I'm gonna be honest. That was cool to see. He stuck in there and survived. I'll tell you this as somebody that went with Vidal, and Vidal went very easy on me. I know when he's going light and when he's trying to swing, he went far easier on me. And our little back and forth spar. Far easier. Not even close to the same. He was swinging pretty heavy at this kid. At least a couple of those shots. What a win. 15,000 doll hairs and a Misfits contract. Forgot about. Okay. Jesus, they're going to tip him over. He gets to fight on Misfits. Well done. With that being said, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows because we have contrevancy coming out of this video and I want to leave it to you guys to decide this part. Apparently this is no normal KSI fan. Now, I don't know the inner workings of how these people have picked. I certainly don't want to start a conspiracy theory myself. And I'm not the one starting this one. It's just controversies already online here. This kid Kia is 18 years old and he just so happens to be an MMA athlete who trains at, you guessed it, Shoot, Shoot Shoot. London Shoot Fighters. Listen, I don't know if KSI. I mean, does he train with KSI? London Shoot Fighters, a big gym. KSI doesn't train with every single person there. Has he seen him before? I don't know. I'm not gonna be here screaming like, oh, my God, the video's rigged. KSI fixed it. No, dude, you're not gonna hear that from me. It is funny that. Of course. Of course the kid that wins it and gets a contract on Misfits is another Shoot Fighters person. Shoot Fighters. Milking that cow again, baby. More money for us. Yeah, listen, this is nothing, dude, like, for people. If people get upset about this, what are we doing? Because the kids still had to go in there and survive some nasty shots from Vidal, okay? He's a London Shoot Fighters kid. Who cares? He's 18 years old. What are you gonna sit here and hate? He gets a shot on Misfits? Who knows? Are people really going to get upset if he's in an opening fight on Misfits when we've seen so many people that are called influencers that have less influence on anything than a gust of wind on a breezy Sunday morning. Like, we've seen some people that have no business being on Misfits, calling themselves influencers, having a following of like 10 people get on cards before. So I'm not upset with this kid getting on here, man. Fair play to him. He still had to go in there and survive and he did. This is a good video from KSI and that's not like a rarity for me, but I don't watch a ton of KSI videos because they're mostly, you know, try not to laughs and whatever. But this was a great idea and I think he should continue doing it, but like, in a way that's more, I don't know, maybe more sports, maybe more skilled guys, maybe more believable in some cases because, like, he probably just got what he got because of who he could get in touch with to make the video. But this is the beginning. I, I think he can do more like this and it could get better and better. So we'll see. But I want to leave it to you guys. Is Kia the right pick for this video and is he the rightful winner or did KSI cook the books? And let me know what you guys think of the video because I think it was a cool idea down in the comments. What do you think? And the last really big question we need to ask, should Kia fight on Misfits is who should he fight? I don't have those answers, but Misfits 22 is coming up. I'll be there August 30th doing some sort of commentary in some way, shape or form. See me on fight week. See me on fight night and what happens next for Misfits, for Kia. For me. I don't have those answers, but guess we'll find out.
