When I saw us counting down I was kind of doing the math in my head about when I thought you'd be back and whether or not you'd be here for episode 400. Luckily you are. Great to have you back. It was also personally, emotionally and financially devastating. Chicago plus seven at Philly. We told you we thought the Bears could win outright. We told you we thought the Eagles offense did not deserve to be a touchdown favorite against any competent team. We were right. We had Tampa minus three and a half at home against Arizona. That's a push. So be it. We had Cleveland plus six against the Niners. Two things on that game. One is one of the downsides of doing these on a Thursday is snow was in the forecast on Thursday for that Sunday. By the time game rolls around, snow's not there anymore. So I wanted a weather game when I'm getting the points. The other part of it is this Kevin Stefanski It's a 108 game. The Niners have done nothing offensively. What are you doing going for fourth downs in your own territory? That's what blew the game open. I don't feel badly about that pick. And when we demand Seattle -10 and a half against Max Brosmer. I said it's one of those things that if you were here when I said it, you would have done the little like close your eyes went thing like oh, that was mean because I said I think they can cover as long as they the 10 and a half as long as they get to 11. I was correct. They now they ended up getting to like 26 but I did not think Minnesota was going to be able to score a point with Max Brosmer against that Seattle defense. That was correct. So two, two and one last week. The biggest weekend of games all year. Six massive games. One happens tonight but you guys are hearing this on Friday. First Miami at New York at the the Jets. I'm sorry jets are two and a half point dogs.

I looked long and hard at Miami.

And then I just asked myself.

A Miami team that needed a two point conversion, pick two to beat the Saints by four and avoid real disaster after giving up then an onside kick, do they deserve to be road favorites, particularly in inclement weather? Tua in the cold. Thinking about that long enough almost made me say maybe I should take the Jets. And then I said to myself, maybe you just stay away from that game. So I stayed away. Next.

[Damanze]

Next. Tennessee at Cleveland. Cleveland's four point favorites.

[Nick Wright]

This is another one where I looked at it long and hard and I said real. Hold on. Real quick snap test. How many touchdown passes do you think Cam Ward has this year? He started all year. Six, seven.

[Damanze]

Oh God.

[Nick Wright]

Yeah, yeah, not good. I mean, great guess by you. And I asked myself.

Cam Ward against that Cleveland defense. Miles Garrett. I, you know, might get the sack record in this game. Needs three and a half sacks. Like that's totally on the board. And I like the Cleveland defense and I like the Cleveland running game. And then I had a quick moment of sobriety when I'm like, wait a minute, I'm going to lay more than a field goal with Shador Sanders and the Cleveland Browns. No, I'm not. But I'm also not betting the Titans if I'm not getting at least 14. And this would only be four. So for those reasons, I'm staying away. I think you like Cleveland in this spot. Am I correct?

I mean, no, no, no, no. Like if I had to use this line, I don't think I would take either of them either. But if I had to take a side, it'd Definitely be Cleveland -4.

Yes, we're on the same page. We're staying away. Next.

Next is New Orleans at Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is eight and a half point favorites.

[Nick Wright]

Just a little too big of a line. New Orleans past defense has been sneaky good and the Bucks still some a little banged up. This is a, you know, great example of Bucks just have to win. They don't have to win by margin. But I also don't want to invest in Tyler Shuck on the road against a playoff team. So I'll just stay away from it. My I would go New Orleans minus. I'm sorry, Tampa minus eight and a half. But I'll stay away. Next.

Next. Cincinnati at Buffalo. Buffalo's five and a half point favorites.

[Nick Wright]

Weird one.

I could go either way. Anything could happen in that game.

[Nick Wright]

Correct. Which is why we're staying away I think since he could win outright. Yeah, I think Buffalo could remind everyone since his defense really stinks and Josh Allen has one of those games where the get up crew is erecting statues on his behalf. Like I.

And so I'll. I'm just going to stay away and watch it. It's good for the Chiefs. If the Bengals win again. It probably won't matter because the Bills have a playoff spot all but locked up. It would take a real Bills collapse. But it's, you know, it is good for the Chiefs if the Bengals win. And they can win. But I don't believe the Bengals have full on turned around their defense. And if you've got these are the two worst run defenses in football or two of the three worst. The difference is though Buffalo has an elite running game, Cincinnati does not. Buffalo's past defense is actually pretty good. I would lean Buffalo, but I'll stay away. Next.

Next we've got Denver at the Raiders. Raiders seven and a half point dogs.

[Nick Wright]

Denver plays nothing but close games, but the Raiders offensive line is so awful that you feel like that Denver defense is just going to eat them alive. But we've seen these teams play. I think it ended up being 107 when they played earlier this year. I think that was a Thursday night game. It was. They beat them 107 on a Thursday night. So I kind of want to grab the points but I also feel like the Raiders aren't going to be able to move the ball at all. So I'll just stay away from it. Next.

Yeah. Yeah. The Rams at the Cardinals. Cardinals are eight point dogs.

[Nick Wright]

Lean Rams feel like they have poured on potential because they want to get, you know, Drake Mays off. Stafford had a rough week. May was excellent in standalone game. Get Stafford back atop the MVP pyramid, so to speak. But eight points in the divisional road game is too much. I'll stay away. Next.

[Damanze]

Chicago at Green bay. Green Bay, six and a half point dogs or six and a half point favorite. Sorry.

[Nick Wright]

I think the right side of this game is Chicago. I think that's the smart side.

But I just can't.

Green Bay coming off its best performance of the year. Chicago also coming off its best performance of the year. Feels like potential more likely for a letdown spot for Chicago. I at seven and a half. I would bet the Bears at six and a half. I'm just going to stay away. I think Green Bay wins by right around a touchdown.

Next Houston at Kansas city. Kansas City 3 1/2 point favorites.

[Nick Wright]

Yeah, listen, I. I gotta see what the status of The Chiefs offensive line is.

But even if Taylor and Smith are playing, I'm not laying three and a half. Just not like listen, the aura of invincibility. Well, listen, the games have to matter. The aura of invincibility has been pierced and I'm not. I would love if I'm watching this game like God dog it, why didn't I bet the Chiefs? Nothing would make me happier but staying away, staying away, staying away. And I don't know if it's good or bad that it's the night game. Like it might be good in that I get to enjoy all day of football leading up to it. It might be bad that I can't enjoy all day of football because I'm just thinking about it. But that's the night game. All right. Now some games I I really like four of these and I'm. I kind of like the fifth. And a reminder, all our lines are from Hard Rock. Bet first one Demons A first one.

You got Jags plus two going up against Indy and I think you got.

[Nick Wright]

All right, first of all, the Jags have owned this matchup the last decade. They're 16:3 and 1 against the spread. Against the Colts that is not super important but it is noteworthy. I also think right now in their current forms, Jacksonville is better than Indy. I Trevor's going to make some mistakes but Jacksonville's at home. They're healthier, which they haven't been healthier than most teams all year. Indies past defense was such a problem they traded two first round picks for Sauce Gardner. Sauce is out. Daniel Jones has a hairline fracture in his leg. Indy is very lucky that they're not already on a four game losing streak. They needed overtime against the Falcons. That's their only win in their last four games. And the Jags can put like a real stranglehold on the division with a win here. I love the Jags. I think it should be Jacksonville minus two and a half. It's Jacksonville plus two. I'll take the Jags plus two.

Yeah, I was surprised that Indy was favorite too. We got Pittsburgh plus six at Baltimore.

[Nick Wright]

It's Pittsburgh getting more than a field goal in a divisional game.

[Damanze]

A lot of points. Auto bet considering what's been going on for Baltimore.

[Nick Wright]

Auto bet now Mike Tomlin was 132 and 2 against the spread as an underdog to the Ravens. He is now 13:4 and 2 against the spreads and underdog to the Ravens because he has lost the last two. But Lamar, historically last year he got over it a bit. Struggles mightily against Baltimore. Lamar is playing the worst football of his career. This is a desperation mode game for both teams and I'm getting six whole points. It's just that like maybe this is the year all the Tomlin Trends end the above 500, all of it. And maybe this, you know, Baltimore just blows them out. But getting six points against what I think is a in flux Ravens team is just too much. I'll take Pittsburgh +6. This next one to Monza is my favorite bet of the week.

Favorite? Oh, this one. Okay. Seattle -7 at Atlanta.

[Nick Wright]

I still don't think people get how good the Seattle defense is and then I will remind you they are playing Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins who? I don't know that he wants to be out there anymore, man. Like I, I mean God bless him, that was maybe too harsh and he just can't move now. He's played fine his last couple games but the jets defense and the Saints defense is not the Seahawks defense. Listen, I think this is essentially going to be a Philly home game plus travel like they're the the Chargers will be in a silent count. I also trust the Philly D line. I also don't know what Herbert status is. With that said, Philly is the least trustworthy offense on any team. That's not awful that I've seen in years, so I don't love laying points. However, I think the overall roster talent plus health of the quarterbacks plus quality of D line versus O line so favors the Eagles. And I'm going to be totally honest, there were only four picks I loved and I'm rooting so hard for Philly I might as well make it one of my picks too. Double down on it. So not great analysis there, I'll be honest. But that's what I'm rolling with. So my five picks are in order of confidence. I'm going to read them to you. Seattle minus seven at Atlanta, Jacksonville it says plus one and a half. It's actually plus two against Indy, Washington plus two at Minnesota, Pittsburgh plus six at Baltimore and Philly minus three at the Chargers. Those are my five picks. If we go five and oh, we're profitable for the year. If we go 4 and 1, we're right at break even for the year. If we go three and two, we say above.500. But we're still not yet in profitability.
